I am exploring the South Island from Townsville, Australia, and this was an experience that was on my “must do” to do list - and boy did it not disappoint. The entrance to the place was beautiful, smelled DIVINE, the staff were lovely and so accomodating. I instantly felt relaxed. I booked the “tri bath” experience for my partner and I, and I don’t regret it one bit - even the ice bath in 2 degree weather - was such a nice touch between the steam shower and hot spa. You receive your own private area/room, with a complimentary drink and snack and with an incredible view. It was honestly better than I expected it to be and I already had high expectations. The smell throughout the entire venue was so calming and smelt lovely. We will definitely be back, loved this experience so much. And worth the cost a million times over. Thank you for being so accommodating.

Amazing experience! By far my favorite thing we did in Queenstown. Extremely clean, quiet, private, and customized to exactly what you wanted. The views didn’t disappoint. Snacks and drinks were perfect. Sabah gave the best back massage I have ever had. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting some time to unwind and relax. We went the the last day we were in Queenstown, if I had been in town longer I would have booked again.

My friends and I really enjoyed chatting and relaxing, customer service was absolutely lovely. Interior was lovely and calm, clean, spacious. Just a heads up that the place itself, you have to go down flights of gravel steps, not a big deal since there were rails but we had a friend that was in a leg brace and it was slightly steep, so just be mindful when you go down. Even the ramp was loose gravel, so I can't imagine someone in a wheelchair making their way down with ease, I hope the business will take this into consideration and perhaps lay down a concrete ramp. :) 10/10

I booked this as a treat on our recent trip to Queenstown and it honestly met all my expectations. We booked the ‘Ultimate Relaxation Experience’ which included a 2 person soak in a private cedar-lined hot tub followed by a 1 hour treatment. The hot tub has spectacular views over the Shotover river and surrounding mountains. We opted to go just before sunset so we could admire the views in the light. I imagine if you went after dark with a clear sky, that would also be amazing! Drinks and snacks were included in the soak which was a nice touch. We then opted for the 1 hour treatment following the soak. I had a paradise bespoke massage and my partner had a deep tissue massage in a dual massage room. The massage beds were possible the most comfortable beds I have ever experienced. You are then led to a relaxation room where you are provided with a snack and a selection of hot and cold drinks to choose from while looking out at more stunning scenery. Advance booking is a must, as it can fill up quickly, especially during peak times. You can only book approx. 3-4 months in advance and we booked mid May for a mid Sept slot. The staff at Onsen were welcoming and attentive, ensuring a seamless and relaxing visit from start to finish. Whether you're visiting as a couple, with friends, or treating yourself to some solo pampering, a visit to Onsen Hot Pools is a must-do for anyone looking to experience Queenstown’s more relaxing side.

Unfortunately we couldn't get a booking during day time. We had a late booking and the experience was still good. Our only real issue was that we were told they were providing slippers. I was going to bring my flip flips but didnt. Overall, try to get a booking during day time and bring your own flip-flops.

From the moment you walk in you're greeted warmly and escorted around to each of your treatments. The hot tub was just brilliant and the massage was the best I've had. You are introduced slowly back to reality with some tea. Ana and Ena were both amazing.

Clean, beautiful view nice and hot 1 hour for a soak is plenty of time to take in the view in the spa then shower off in the private shower. BE WARNED THO do NOT pay for the $20 snack platter the crackers were soft the orange tasted bad and was clearly a low effort bad tasting take away container of food they just pulled out of the fridge $5-10 would of been way more reasonable the food was very disappointing for such a fancy place they would be better off not offering extra food.

Great conservation park. I saw three Kiwi birds and a variety of other native creatures. Informative wildlife talk and demonstration. Gift shop with lovely souvenirs and locally made items. Bee store also Well worth the trip, and feel like you're making a positive contribution to nature by being there

The work the conservationists are doing is so important and they have done a fantastic job maintaining the park and facilitating visitors while keeping the precious kiwi safe! ❤️ The gift shop is lovely and contributes to the conservation work.

Kiwi Park is a short tour to pass by while in Queenstown. There will be a few species of birds and reptiles to watch on. The main attraction is the Kiwi visiting. Keep in mind that the Kiwi enclosure is very dark and no photos or flashes are allowed. Its a bit pricey but a cool experience.

Loved this place. Exhibits are set up and maintained nicely. The conservation show was really cool and interactive. The people doing the free honey testing were engaging. The animals of course were amazing to see up close especially the birds!

Lovely park where you can see Kiwi in a dark setting as they are nocturnal animals that are sensitive to light. We did the Wildlife Show when we entered the park in which we learned about the animals that live in NZ, afterwards we got a short but informative session in the dark habitat where currently four Kiwi live ("Kiwi encounter"). Recommend you to check out the timing of the two different highlights so that you won't miss it. During the Kiwi Encounter, the guide informed us that the aim is to set out the Kiwi back in the wild so that the population will increase.

We really loved our visit to the Kiwi Park. We were fortunate to get there a few minutes before the Kiwi enclosure presentation where we saw a number of Kiwis in their nocturnal habitat. Great to know about the conservation efforts of this park!

We had a really nice afternoon at kiwi park! We arrived about 4pm so it was nice and quiet - made it in time to see the kiwis and the last show! The staff were all very friendly and knowledgable!

The luge was super fun and I would highly recommend. Giving it four stars instead of five because the admission price was expensive and I was expecting more opportunities to catch a view of Queenstown and take impressive photos. The lookout area was very small and mostly shaded. There was a line in the one well lit area to take photos.

Skyline Queenstown Luge is an absolute must do when visiting Queenstown! The whole experience is packed with fun, adventure and incredible views. The gondola ride up alone is breathtaking, you get to see sweeping panoramic views of Lake Wakatipu, the Remarkables and the whole Queenstown skyline. Once at the top, the luge tracks are where the real excitement begins! We tried both the Dart Luge Track and Arrow Luge Track — the scenic one is perfect for beginners or just to enjoy the view, while the advanced track gives you more curves, speed and thrilling corners. It’s super addictive; once you start, you’ll definitely want to go again! The luge carts are easy to control, safe, and suitable for all ages. Staff were friendly and helpful, making the experience smooth and enjoyable. There’s also a café and lookout area at the top where you can relax, take photos and enjoy the stunning landscape before heading down. Tip: Go during the morning or sunset for fewer crowds and even better lighting for photos. Overall, Skyline Queenstown Luge offers a perfect mix of fun, adrenaline and world-class scenery. Definitely one of the highlights of our trip — worth every cent and every ride!

IMO, its the must-go to every tourist in Queenstown. AMAZING view, the Luge Ride is so FUN - so don’t miss going at least 3 times. The views are breathtaking, one can make lots of amazing photos. Really recommend!

We had an afternoon to spare in Queenstown and had seen the gondola going up the mountain. Our research showed that if you went up a bit higher, you could catch a chairlift to the top and luge back down….count me in for those thanks! (It wasn’t a luge all the way down the mountain so don’t get too excited!) There are a few packages to choose from, but we opted for the gondola up and back, chairlift to the top and 3 rides on the luge. When going up on the gondola, make sure you sit facing the lake and not the mountain, the view is stunning. The chairlift to the top can seat 4 people so there’s plenty of room and the lines to get on weren’t too bad. We were there towards the end of winter so it might be busier during summer. The luge itself is lots of fun, once you get used to stopping and going. A lever will increase/decrease your speed and letting go will cause it to stop. Pretty simple once you get the hang of it. There is only one main track, but it branches off to another track for the more experienced. By that I mean it’s a bit faster and way more fun. Helmets are mandatory too. There are viewing areas up top so you can watch people going around on the track, plus admire the view over the lake and mountains. From buying our tickets, to the chairlift and the guys looking after the luge; all the staff were just brilliant. Friendly, welcoming, explained everything we needed to know. Totally recommend a visit.

Amazing views, what an incredible experience! I'm not a fan of heights but felt super safe and loved the scenic views of Queenstown. We even saw mountain goats! Was a wonderful way to fill the morning 😊

Very clean gondolas. Nice ride up and back. We had lunch at the Stratosphere. Great buffet with soups, mussels, shrimp, several meats (prime rib, pork belly, venison, lamb, chicken), several types of vegetables, a great salad bar, cheese and meat bar, pasta bar, and an amazing dessert bar... there was so much delicious food I couldn't even come close to tasting all that i wanted to because it looked so good. Wait staff right in top of service a well. Beautiful view! Fun gift shop at the top a well. We were supposed to be riding the luge all day but it was raining hard fur the time we were in Queenstown so never got to. So disappointed!!!

Sensational views! Had the best views from the viewpoint. Initially I didn’t think about the views but after reaching to the top and spending time at the viewpoint, my decision was absolutely right spending the money. Bonus was the photos were free!!! A separate card with a QR code will be given to us and it is useful to scan and pose for a photo at the viewpoint and that photo will be available online to download!

Fantastic experience...That is what my wife and my 8 years old son said! Staff members were great and sharp(on the upselling skills). We just walked in for this activity so we had to wait for a couple of hours to get a spot, I would advise to book online, this way you know when to be there. The staff is energetic and nice. We really enjoyed it and recommend it!

We got the early bird discount and we got there as soon as it opened. There was no line so we got the place to ourselves. The staff weren’t busy at all so we got all their attention… which was awesome. Great experience… will do it again.

Had a great time! The Team are all very friendly, professional and very engaging. We had the over 50s $50 off promo - so was great. So much fun - I have always wanted to do this and it did not disappoint. Would highly recommend. All whilst there - there was couple of families and they treated the young children so well and engaged well with them.

Our 6 year old daughter has always said she wishes she could fly, so when we booked our Queenstown holiday, iFLY was right at the top of her list — and it absolutely delivered! Beth, our instructor, was incredibly patient and helped our daughter Kaiora feel comfortable and confident the whole way through. We booked the 16-minute private package for her and our friends’ son, and they both had the best time. Such an amazing experience to watch, and needless to say, we now have a very excited 6 year old who’s officially hooked on flying! Highly recommend iFLY for families. Such a fun, memorable experience.

I had an amazing experience at iFLY on Wednesday! The whole session was awesome from start to finish. The instructors were friendly, professional, and made sure everyone felt comfortable and confident before flying. The experience itself was absolutely thrilling — it truly felt like real flying! Everything was well organized and ran smoothly. I’d highly recommend iFLY to anyone looking for an unforgettable adventure.

Our instructor was energetic, charismatic, and made the whole experience really fun. We would definitely recommend the $199 package, which includes the better helmet and four total flights, each lasting around 30–45 seconds. It was a great bit of fun, especially since our outdoor skydive was cancelled due to high winds. This turned out to be the perfect indoor alternative and gave us a real taste of what freefalling feels like. A great activity to try, particularly for anyone considering a full skydive in the future.

Probably one of the best experiences I have experienced so far. It really felt like I was kinda flying. The inside was a little bit small, hard to breath a little and the ear plugs don't do much, but still had the best time. It was super fun, wish I could have been there longer.

Fear Factory was an awesome experience. I've never felt so tense in my shoulders before. I would 100% recommend doing in a small group. The horror is brilliantly designed and absolutely terrifying. The staff are real awesome and friendly too. Super easy to book too. You can just rock up or see what they have online. They run every 15 minutes.

Had so much fun screaming our way out 😅 Loved it 👌 Would definitely come back again with family members. They wanted to try too. Really enjoyed our photos especially the short clip of us.. Too funny 🤣

10/10 experience. Never have I been so thrilled to be completely terrified. The staff are all amazing and take their job very seriously, doing anything to deliver the best scare they can. The maze is well constructed with scares around every corner. If you’re a fan of horror, frights or just want a night out that’s a little different, can’t recommend enough

Great experience! So fun and funny. Laughed and creeped out all in one. No wait at all. Which was fantastic. The staff on the deck were dressed awesome and really helpful. Super fun Halloween night.

The experience was good overall, although the ticket price felt quite high for the type and length of the attraction, which which lasted around 10 to 15 minutes. It was mildly scary, mostly relying on jump scares, and not as intense as other horror attractions we have visited. However, we did appreciate the fact that it was completely pitch black throughout, which added a nice touch to the atmosphere. The highlight of the visit was the receptionist, who was incredibly kind and helpful. Due to the waiting time and the fact that we were on our honeymoon, she offered us the photos and videos at no additional charge. This gesture really elevated the experience and left a positive impression. If you are looking for something a bit scary and fun for an indoor activity in Queenstown, it might be worth trying. Otherwise, there are probably other activities in Queenstown that offer better value for money.

Staff were so helpful and kind the haunted house was fun, lots of jump scares. I would have liked if in some bits I could see a bit more of the scary details but the concept of running around in the dark was cool. Would reccomend to people as it is fun if you like to get scared

Way more fun than expected, not accessible I was hesitant and thought it would be meh. I was sooo wrong! Simple premise done really well. The actor was incredible, scared us half to death while also guiding us through when needed. If you like this kind of thing, don’t miss it!!! I would not consider this attraction to be accessible. Attraction utilizes visual cues, uneven walking surfaces, at least one spider, flashing lights and loud sounds, at least one tight space

We had the most amazing time at the maze!!!! The lovely lady behind the counter- Ginny, was so friendly and helped us choose the experience with glasses. I would definitely recommend getting the glasses! A must do in Queenstown! All the rooms are really thought and sooooo much fun!

Certainly great for kids!...BUT... For the entry price as an adult, this unfortunately was a little underwhelming. Although initially fun and interesting, the rooms are small and we were in/out within 15 minutes. Everyone says take your time, to which I agree, but there isn't a whole lot to see or do in each room so it's easy to move through quickly. I highly recommend this for children though, curious and active young minds would appreciate the wonder of these rooms more than I did. Staff were really pleasant and helpful.

We had the BEST time today! (As adults in their 30s). Such a cool experience and each room was so unique and fun 🌀 The highlight of this was the wonderful customer service from Ginny at the front! She was so warm & welcoming ☺️ made our experience that much better. When we came in, there was a big group of people that got there at the same time. But she gave detailed and pleasant attention to everyone and when we went in, we hardly overlapped with the group in front of us. She encouraged us to get the glasses… and if you’re questioning it… GET THE GLASSES! 🤓 It makes everything way cooler and slows down your experience to absorb it all in. The maze mirror room and ball pit room were my favorites 😍 Lots of little gems around every turn. 100% recommend and thank you Ginny for making it unforgettable 💘🥰

I went as a solo adult 🤣 it was a pretty neat experience! I could see kids really enjoying this, as well as people of all ages who are neurodivergent (in particular ASD, ADHD, etc) or who are just sensory seeking in general. There are some very dark/pitch black spaces, and one or two spaces that may not be suitable for people who get claustrophobic, however there is a sign at the start to let the staff know if you have anxiety etc and I believe they may be able to keep a bit of an eye on you. All in all I highly recommend, and I would recommend getting the unlimited for an hour session so you can go through as many times as you’d like, in case you miss something the first time. It is also super interactive!

Crazy maze with heaps of different rooms, one filled to the top with balloons, a mirror room, lots of pitch black rooms!!! Super fun and crazy for your senses. We should have slowed down and enjoyed each room a bit more. Don’t race through! But it was pretty scary/fun for a 5 year old!!!!

What a cool experience! I wasn’t sure what to expect and just wandered in without any clue. The receptionist Ginny was truly amazing. She explained everything to me so welcoming and empathetic, advised me for the one hour experience and showed so much patience for my two toddlers. They got a bit scared and we had to exit out of the ballon room again. Even though it was quiet busy she went out of her way make them feel safe and even blew up balloons for them and entertained them til they calmed down and were ready to reenter. This has made our experience one to remember! Thank you so much!

Went in last Saturday night and had a blast. It was quiet when we went in which was nice. The lady at the counter was super friendly and polite. The maze itself was super fascinating and I love how we could take our time going through. We ended up spending around 30 minutes in the maze. I think the pricing is a little expensive but not unusual for Queenstown. Would recommend.

Trail is beautiful. It’s very rocky. Easier going up than down for me. It is a hiking trail and can be steep at times. There is a gondola at top if you don’t want to walk down. Round trip for me was 2 plus hours. I spent time taking pictures. Bring water.

This trail goes uphill—it's definitely not an easy walk. Once you find the starting point though, it's well marked throughout. Great views from the top, and you'll save money by skipping the cable car.

Very scenic hike, one of the best. Very straight up and down but not too difficult. Best of it all is u can save big bucks riding the gondola. 😅 The valley part is tge trailhead us hidden sooo well that u can hardly find it. I also got lost on the way down past the wooden statue. Need to have better signage for people to find it.

Takes just under an hour. Mixture of rocks and exposed tree roots. Quite steep in some places. Would definitely be slippery if it was wet. It was fun to watch the people of the zip line wizzing through the trees. No water on the trail.

Superb spot - Queenstown has to be one of the best spots on the planet - so much to do, food to enjoy and that friendly NZ vibe.

Really recommend, such a beautiful trail, it is undergoing work so starts in a slightly different place. It was rainy and cloudy when we did it but it was still really lovely. Wasnt too hard either and you can take your time. Uneven of course in parts due to it being in a woodland but the path is really well marked. So glad that i did this trail! I would say it took about an hour to go up

We went for a short stroll from the city centre to the ice skating rink and it’s absolutely brilliant here. Highly recommend!!!

This is the BEST ice rink I’ve ever been to in my 50 plus years of skating! This rink is run the way ice arenas should be run. The facility is very clean. The warming room area and the food available to purchase there is such a nice touch. Disney movies and a fire in that area are such nice touches. The ice quality is good too. It’s so nice that at the end of the day the option to shoot sticks and pucks is available. And…helmets and skating aids are available too! We just had such a nice time skating here and want to return!

Was an ok experience , the bumping were not really exciting and a bit meh Maybe a bunch of kids or teens if they go together could make a difference The rink was nice and clean and big but received no help or support or guidance on skating as promised which was not cool The price of rental supports are too high, 35$ for each to support if you needed. Staff seemed very flat and not interested in their work at all. Watching the morning games were fun though. Would not go again or recommend in general.

Honestly the most beautiful rink I’ve ever seen it’s so cozy and also inspired me to start Figureskating. Story time!! On the 14th of January 2024, I went to this ice rink on a holiday and was mesmerised by a figure skater that was around my age so I taught myself a two-foot spin right then and there. It’s now the 14th of September 2025, and I’ve been a figure skater ever since. All thanks to this rink honestly!! 🫶🫶🫶🫶🫶

Fantastic place right in the Queenstown Gardens and walkable from downtown. Big rink where you can rent skates and skate around and a nice cafe attached to it. The staff is very friendly, we did first skating lessons for our little one and the instructor was great. Loved it

We had voucher from booking and we needed an attraction just to kill time. The story which is been projected is interesting but over within 15Min. After that the ducks and the fisch on the lake get food, and as you are under the lake level you can observe them. I will never spend the full price which was 20$ for this.

Time Tripper is a short but memorable experience right in the heart of Queenstown. You purchase your ticket upstairs, then head down at your scheduled time to a cozy mini-theater located underwater! The experience starts with a chance to observe the local fish swimming right outside the large glass window — it’s a peaceful and mesmerizing view. Then, you’re shown a short film (around 10–20 minutes) that dives into the fascinating history of Queenstown. It was genuinely interesting and informative, offering insights I hadn’t heard before. I do wish the video had been a bit longer, though — it felt like it ended too quickly, and I would’ve loved to learn even more. After the movie, it’s feeding time! Food is dropped into the water from above, and suddenly you’re surrounded by fish rushing in. It’s a great moment to take photos or videos, especially of the ducks — they dive deep and fast, which is really impressive to watch. The whole experience lasts around 30 minutes and is definitely worth it if you’re looking for something a bit different to do in Queenstown.

The attraction is one room under the pier with windows onto the harbour. Starts with 12 minute video about the pre history of the lake, geological past and Maori legends. This was ok but could have done so much more. The curtains raised and the fish were fed. Large fish, eels and ducks diving - really cool. However, we would have really liked a fish identification chart so we could know what we were looking for. We were out again in 20 minutes. Not worth $20.

It was a good show depicting the history of the Whakatipu lake in 3D surround sound. The small show theater is placed below the ground showcasing the underwater environment of the lake. We could see the eels swimming around freely. At the end of the show the crew fed the fish & diving birds ate it too, which looked spectacular. Although the show was good, I'm not very sure about what someone may feel about its entry fee worth the $20.

I couldn’t believe what was hiding under the lake! We weren’t quite sure what we had booked in our k-jet package but I am so glad we get to experience this! You wouldn’t know it’s there but it is definitely worth it and such a cool activity. Got to see an abundance of animals underwater after too! Definitely book if you see this!

This was so much fun, I thought my 14 and 13 year old boys might be to old to enjoy this but I was wrong. It's really fun, the ducks are hillarious. The time tripper movie was really cool, I learned a lot from it and the way the movie was done felt like the whole room was actually moving. A VR experience.

Very good for kids. Educational and interesting too. After the show, pls wait for a while because the feeding time just starts

Great experience! other jet activities might be cheaper, but this one goes deep into the river, very close to the gorge that gives you a complete different vibe, you get to enjoy the majesty of to he mountains and an adrenaline rush. Our driver Paul, was awesome - skilled, safe and all round really nice guy! Thoroughly recommend this experience!

An absolutely amazing experience! The ride was thrilling and full of excitement from start to finish — fast spins, close canyon turns, and that rush of adrenaline you can only get here. What really makes it special is the location — the Shotover River canyon is breathtaking and truly unique compared to other jet boat activities. The scenery, the speed, and the skill of the driver all made it unforgettable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Queenstown!

It is a must do. So much fun. The driver was informative and gave us a wonderful ride. The river section with the canyons is gorgeous. I hope to bring my boys back one day.

Amazing experience. Was better than expected. We went through the Canyon at speed close to the rocks but there are a few moments where you stop and get to admire the views. The driver gives some info about the area, the boat and is happy to answer questions you may have. When stopped you get to see the other boats fly past and do spins just next to you. If you want a more accessible adrenaline fix this is definitely a must do.

Very fun! The canyon is gorgeous, the drivers are friendly and very skilled. You reach speeds 95kph and get within a 1m of rocks and trees. Awesome experience on 10 minutes up the road from Queenstown

Highly recommend this. Lots of fun and thrilling. I was a bit nervous doing this as it’s not really my thing but discount with my husband. Surprisingly I felt safe, the jet driver was excellent and checked if everyone was ok when we had to stop for a minute to wait for other jet boat to come across/past. Amazing experience.

This was truly an incredible experience. The river/canyon are absolutely stunning and the whole ride is a wild thrill! The driver was super fun, shared interesting facts about the history and took good care of us. Be warned, in winter months it is COLD dress appropriately as you will get wet with icey water and wind. 100/10 would recommend to everyone who is able and to do it again !!

Our kids did the VR experience. They got 3 games and a bonus mini game thrown in. Staff member was very friendly and fantastic with the kids. Explained everything and helped throughout. The kids had a ball. Perfect for something different to do on a non snow day.

My 10 year old loved this place so much that we had to go back the next day. The staff member, Molly was amazing. She guided my boy, encouraged and applauded him. So many games and activities to choose from. Will be surely coming back to Thrillzone when we visit Queenstown again.

The glow in the dark mini putt was very fun. We choice to play the fun edition which added a quirky fun element to thw game. The holes were really well thought out and had a fun spin on a traditional min putt. Staff were super helpful and we had a ball. Score card was on our phone which we thought was really smart.

Putt 'N' Glow unique enough to wholeheartedly justify it's price point - interactive & unexpected fun for all ✨ With the opportunity to replay as much as your group wants, digital scorecards, certain hole modifiers, customisable courses, AND varied ways to score, this is an absolute MUST for any group (BookMe reinforces this tenfold) ⛳️ The staff were generous and hospitable, taking us via the accessibility lift to the start and explaining/answering with patience - it added greatly to our experience overall! As someone who works in the entertainment industry, I couldn't recommend this more!

We did a vr escape room and the mini golf. Lots of fun. Wish we didn’t run out of time with the escape room. Could have played it for hours. Also would go back to try other vr options.

Such a fun mini golf course with loads of interactive games. Perfect activity for a rainy day. The staff were super friendly. Big shout-out to Sandy for being so helpful and snapping awesome pictures of us! Will definitely be back! ⛳️

We had such a fun time doing the Hologate VR experience! We were lucky enough to spin the discount wheel with Sandy and win a buy-one-get-one-free deal. Superb experience. Check in was super easy, quick, and the staff in the office were friendly. The boat ride across was phenomenal with some great mulled wine on board and some insightful commentary by our skipper. The food was unreal. Great variety in dishes without being too overwhelming. The chicken, beef, and mussels were around some of my favorite pieces of my dinner. But, of course, the star of the show was the sticky toffee pudding. I also loveddd the ice cream and brownies. The farm show at the end with Ashley, Mist, and Lil Joe was so amazing to watch. While Lil Joe was definitely the star of the show Ashley did an amazing job teaching us more about Walter Peak and sheep shearing in a very engaging and entertaining way. Overall, an amazing way to spend our three year anniversary!!

Well, don't let anyone tell you this isn't worth it. It is 150% worth it and more! Where do I start with what is so amazing about this cruise?! Is it the amazing views from the ship? Is it the delicious BBQ buffet food, with every sort of meat, plus yummy starters like smoked salmon, cheeses, mussels and multiple desserts? Or is it the cool sheep shearing show at the farm with Ash and Mist? All these things are wonderful but the unique thing about this trip is going on a ship that was made in the same year as the Titanic and that is still fully functioning today! Being able to see the crew in the engine room, stocking the boilers, responding to the skippers commands on the Chadburn...wow! Absolutely fascinating! So don't you worry about that gleaming catamaran, be sure to take the steamer instead, you'll not regret it!

I'm not one for paying tourist prices to do stuff in my own country. But I must say. This was a great trip. The wife and I really enjoyed it. It was blowing it's arse off but you wouldn't have known on the boat. We wish we had paid the extra for the meal at the sheep station. It looked amazing. Well worth the money. I would suggest spending the extra for the meal.

An excellent, top-of-the-line, memorable experience that leaves you buzzing to return ✨ Doing the Earnslaw towards the end of my holiday was an absolute blessing because few experiences could come close to the brilliant activity that was the cruise and BBQ lunch - I know we would've been disappointed for the remainder had we done this first 🚤 The ship has ample photo ops and opportunity to learn more about the rich history of the vessel and surrounding are, while, of course, having the beautiful maunga all around you. The staff across the entire experience are helpful, patient, and knowledgeable 🎊 Arriving at the lunch destination, it was well laid out and clear where to go, the seating was well spaced and the views both internally and externally were nice. Initially anxious of the buffet due to a prior experience elsewhere (plus the variety being much less upon first inspection) we were quickly reaffirmed and enjoyed everything on offer. Each dish had fresh ingredients, spread across the designated space effectively, and I can confidently say I have not had lamb that delicious in a very very very long time 🤩 The extra time to explore Walter Peak and return were perfect and disembarking was easy. I would happily pay any amount to do this again (further brilliant for their accessibility service and Gold Card discount too!) and highly recommend this to both travellers AND LOCALS for their Queenstown visit 🫶

What a lovely experience! Rayna was a huge help when I asked for an accommodation. Although it was busy, she made a point to ensure I had a delightful dinner experience. Thank you to RealNZ and especially Rayna for the delightful experience on the boat and dinner. The dinner was delicious and had so many options for all Dietary needs and requests, it would be extremely hard to go hungry or not find something you’d like.

Such an cool piece of history, well worth it to experience a trip out on Lake Wakatipu on this vessel! I've been lucky enough to work on the TSS Earnslaw while drydocked, and on our previous journey we only made the cruse over, afterwards wishing we went ashore and did the farm tour or the BBQ lunch/dinner. This trip we've booked in dinner to make the most of it!

We loved this beautiful track. It’s mostly uphill, so pace yourself and enjoy a slow, steady climb. Along the way, there are a few perfect spots to stop, catch your breath, and snap some great photos. The scenery is full of lush trees and peaceful nature, making the walk as relaxing as it is rewarding. We really enjoyed it and would come back to do it again. You can also bring something cute to put alongside other fairies.

Just above the city center, about 2.5 km away, but with an elevation gain of about 400 m. A trail mostly in the forest until you reach the summit with a breathtaking view. I recommend continuing on the path for another 400 meters and turning right to reach a rock that overlooks the eastern side for a mesmerizing sunrise.

Nice track, fabulous views, easy access and parking not like other ones which need a stronger car. It's just by the city center. You can see the whole Queenstown on the top of the hill. Need to go all the way up and go all the way down. Just reminding that dogs are not allowed in case someone needs.

Moderate difficulty trail. 5.3km return. Steady incline all the way to the top. Took me about 2 hours with plenty of stops to admire the views. There are a few lookouts along the way but none of them compare to the 360 panorama you have at the summit.

It is a nice walking track, very well-maintained. Need good walking shoes because there are some steeps. Remember to bring water. Totally worth the effort.

It’s a short trek but starts with an immediate uphill. You feel the burn for the entire trip. Great views and fun to see the locals add to the fairy garden. Bring some water!

Nothing technical about this trail. Uphill all the way to the summit. Lunch with the breathtaking views of the Remarkables. Plenty of scenic spots to do lunch. Downhill to city. Easy peasy for kids too.

I was initially a bit nervous about navigating essentially a plastic board with wheels down a steep hill but turns out no worries were needed! The luge was surprisingly easy to drive and lots of fun! Spectacular views on the gondola ride up, and then another small chairlift to get to the top of the luge track itself. Would highly recommend booking ahead online, pricing for gondola & luge packages online seem to be much better value than booking in person!

Its my first time visiting New Zealand and the locals were all super friendly! The skyline luge was a super fun experience!! There's a few ticket packages to choose from. I choose the Granola and 3x luge. You get to sit on the cable car (called the Granola) to go up the mountains and then ride the luge (which is similar to a go-kart) down the mountains. They also have cameras everywhere on the track to take photos of you driving the luge! You can scan your helmets afterwards to see those photos and choose which ones you want and they will send to your email for you to download. You don't have to buy all the photos, u can just choose those that are nice Highly recommend for family and kids friendly too!! 👍🏻

A lot more fun than expected! It was very scenic heading up the gondola. The luge at the end was a real treat. I loved going on the chairlift and taking the luge down was a lot of fun. I would recommend going early to beat the queues. It’s expensive but a lot of fun. The scenery at the top is breathtaking.

Some renovation was going on when i was there on 12 Sep 2025. But it didn't affect the Luge experience much! Very fun experience, recommend to go with friends or family. Recommend to wear gloves during cold season or else your fingers will be numb.

It has 2 tracks to choose from! So fun and you will get the hang of it after 1-2 times! Somehow we like the arrow track as we can go faster and nice views. Dart track has more turning so make it a little more challenging. Would recommend getting at least 5 times fast to have a good fun! After that we have a quick stroll back down for views and pictures! Construction going on for expansion but still operating

It was a great experience and adventure. 100% worth it. If you are visiting Queenstown, then do not miss this place. The staff was super friendly. If you are in a family or a large group, then this place is budget friendly. It is a very fun activity for people of all age groups, including children, teens, and adults… There are magnificent and picturesque scenery.

We had the best time up the skyline and the Luge! Definitely worth getting the 6turn pass of the luge - 3 would not be enough turns! Lots of construction going on will be nice inc complete!

Not Great. We did the Gold Heist Room. Some thought has put into the puzzles, although I would like a little more variation and creativity. A lot of the props are quite worn and not much effort has been put into the set design. A little pricy for what you get.

Good experience! Harriet, our facilitator for our game, she has been so helpful and friendly. Patiently explaining to us how some of the puzzles were meant to be solved, and even offered to help us take photos after the game.

Best Escape room we've ever done! Super smooth mechanics (normally clunky mechanisms have increased our time). Room had a logical layout to it and was great difficulty for 3 adults. Staff were real friendly and they let us take a mint photo with props

We did 2 escape rooms (team of 2 experienced people) and it was really good! I would recommend to start with "Gold Heist in the Gold Rush" and then "Murder in the Prince of Wales Hotel 2". Both rooms are nicely done with a lot of problems to solve. If you are experienced in escape rooms, I wouldn't recommend more than 3 people on this one.

The escape room was SO MUCH fun and had so many details. A lot of thought and love went into this place! The staff was also soooo friendly and welcoming, all in all a great experience

Did this as a rainy day activity...so much fun! Great game, challenging. Good decor, elements work well. Good immersion in story line and tying it into the history of the region. Would have loved to stay and do more games but ran out of time.

I found it a bit difficult and definitely needed more time. But it was my first go. We had fun and look forward to trying another room tomorrow. Thanks for helping us Harriet!

Absolutely amazing experience at Queenstown bobs peak it was the most memorable experience of my life so far, me and my family went go-karting, which was incredibly fun.

the hike was pretty steep and it was definitely not an easy climb up! it was only around 2.5 hrs for a return trip with stunning views at the peak.

The view is just mesmerizing from top. Must go to this place for a wonderful scenic view.

Well-kept trail along the lake to run, walk or cycle! There are several benches, turn offs to the main road and paths to get to the water! Highly recommend!!

one of the best hiking route in Queenstown if you’re not into extreme or mountain hiking! the scenery along this route was breathtaking, not crowded at all (went in August), many benches along the way, and you will get to see this beautiful side of QTN

Great walk all the way from Frankton to Queenstown. Passing through frankton beach, marina and queenstown garden. Plenty of small beaches on the way all to yourself!

An easy and very nearby walking trail takes you out of Queenstown (not that far) so anyone can enjoy this walking trail. We actually started from Lake Wakatipu Viewpoint and we walked down to join the trail first turning toward the airport and later reversing back all the way to Queenstown.

Lovely walk and a great facility for Queenstown. However, where streams cross the trail or go underneath there was a significant smell of sewage at every crossing between Queenstown and Frampton.

As a former swimmer, lifeguard and traveller in New Zealand. I was thoroughly unimpressed with this pool. With very few amenities and an unwelcoming atmosphere I felt uncomfortable here. Upon arrival I felt an immense amount of discrimination towards backpackers/ travelers as it felt as though they did not want people there using the showers. I'm sure other people have had a better experience here, but it was not for me.

A lot of rules for rules sake. We got told off because my 6 year old practicing 360s into the pool 😆 apparently someone decided “spins” were too dangerous. Also the 1.4m height requirement for the second slide is dumb. It’s a nice place with silly rules

Nice big place with training pool, pool to do lengths, slide and shallower pool for the kids as well as a hot pool. I believe there is also a gym, cafe and shop. A sauna would make this place even better! Lady on the desk was lovely, very helpful and polite. Showers were a bit of a let down considering they charge $5 just for a shower if you don't swim.

Would have been helpful to let people know the pool swimming side of things is closed. After walking kms to get there to find out it’s closed doesn’t make me want to return zero stars for the experience

20241128 16:43 Bad experience. I came to swim to relax, and I was the only one standing there when I bought the ticket, and I said buy a ticket, but I was charged $12.2, the true price is $8. How did I find out about this problem? Because after I paid, I waited for the dark-haired brown-skinned lady to open the electric door for me, and waited for about 10 seconds, so I stood and looked at my phone, and I found out that I was overcharged. The last time I came to the swimming pool, this lady also had a poor service attitude. Overcharging and poor service attitude.

You have to try the hot pools in winter. It’s awesome. There’s a training pool, lap pool, lazy river and infant pool, also water slides that look fun although I haven’t tried them. The temperature within is pretty warm during winter which is nice. Only thing is the lap pool temperature is a tad cold for me so I can only do my laps in the training pool. Changing rooms and showers are big. There are paid lockers and free cubicles for you to store your bags. $8 entry for adults (non-members). There’s a cafe and shop selling swimwear outside too.

This place was therapeutic to me. I was at my lowest and have spent like 5-6 hours daily for months here. Just journaling, working out, swimming, then the hot pool. The staff is very friendly, the visitors are quite enthusiastic, the crew members are so supportive. And the trainers not only help you heal physically, but give you so much motivation, strength which in turns boosts your mental health as well.

I found out about Deer Park Heights not long before visiting Queenstown and knew I had to visit. It is set on the outskirts of Queenstown and has sweeping views over Lake Wakatipu and the alpine landscape. The park was easy to book online and costs $75 per car, vehicles of up to 8 people are allowed. Entry is limited to protect both the environment and the animals which means it also never feels crowded while you’re there. While there we saw herds of deer, Kunekune pigs, llamas, goats, highland cows and miniature horses. You can get out of your vehicle in certain areas and feed some of the animals. Make sure you bring a $2 coin to be able to get some food! There are also several recording sites from “The Lord of the Rings,” which was a big draw for me. We were there for a good couple of hours taking in the views, watching planes land and depart Queenstown airport and just enjoying the tranquillity of the park. A real worthwhile visit if you’re in the area.

I liked the freedom you have once you drive in. You can take your time, feed the animals how you like and have some fun getting up close with the animals. The lotr locations were a bit confusing to locate but just driving around you get that lotr feeling. The price felt a bit tourist trappy but it's a good time.

My wife and I spent two days in Queenstown last year, and visiting this park was easily one of the best experiences of our trip. The views are simply epic – breathtaking landscapes in every direction. The entire tour takes about 2 hours, you need to book the ticket online with your car plate and input code to access.

Visiting Deer Park Heights was such an unreal experience! My partner and I went on our last full day in Queenstown and had so much fun. It’s hard to put into words just how special it was – breathtaking views combined with the chance to see and feed the animals made it such a wholesome outing. We only got to see cows, pigs, deer, sheep, a donkey, and miniature horses up close, which was still amazing. Some of the other animals like stags, bison, Highland cattle, llamas, and Himalayan tahr were either too far away from the driveway or not visible at all during our visit. A couple of tips: if you’re planning to stay longer than three hours, bring food along as there are picnic tables where you can stop and eat. Also, it can get very cold up there, so warm clothing like beanies, gloves, and jackets are definitely recommended. The only downside was communication. I tried contacting them by phone and email to update the registration number of our rental car (due to an unexpected change) but never received a reply. That said, when we initially booked, we were provided with an emergency access code, which worked perfectly and allowed us to enter and exit smoothly without issue. Overall, this is a truly memorable experience I’d 100% recommend for couples, families, or friends visiting Queenstown.

Stunning location. Really well set up and absolutely beautiful. Goats are extremely cheeky and deer number 707 will eat straight out your hand can’t recommend this pace enough if you have children. Stunning views over Queenstown, easy booking process. Just make sure you take change for the food machines.

Shazz and Eloise were absolutely fabulous! We did the Kea 6-line tour and were lucky enough to be paired with the best guides ever. They were so encouraging, knowledgeable, and incredibly supportive, especially when it came to easing any nerves. My husband, my two kids (7 & 9), and I had the best time with them. The kids especially loved Shazz’s iconic 🤘🏻ZIPPPLIIINE🤘🏻 call, which they’ve been copying non-stop since we got home! And Shazz, we will treasure your selfie photo bomb, the kids love it! An amazing experience with amazing guides. Our guides, Leah and Rhys, were amazing at their jobs, really nice people and made the experience even better. They made it fun, with the experience full of jokes and they tried to know the people they were guiding, having conversations with everyone, being really polite and keeping the experience light. They also gave recommendations on where else to visit (they were right with there being much more ducks then kiwis at the kiwi zoo). The zip lines themselves were great, with each line having a new challenge to keep the experience engaging. Each stop was filled with history into the area, told by the very knowledge full instructors, giving insite into the nature and culture. I would 100% go back and do the experience again. It was the highlight of my holiday and is worth doing. I have done a zip line before, but this one was on a whole new level, with amazing views and great people.

What great fun with Rhys and Sydney as our guides for our first zip line experience. They showed patience if anyone was a little hesitant after giving clear explanation of the safety aspects and how the session would run. Some interesting information about local nature too. Lovely to have people enjoying their work to make our experience a good one. Thank you.

After what started as a disappointing morning for us - our whitewater rafting was cancelled we decided to go zip lining! What else to do on a rainy afternoon in Qtown! We headed up the gondola and made our way to the zip line meet point! Whilst waiting the employees were signing whilst organising the equipment! As a joke I asked for the check in and briefing all to be sung to us! Shaz and Rhys our guides did not disappoint ! My partner and I couldn’t breathe laughing! This set the tone for the rest of our experience which was laughs from start to finish! These 2 were very entertaining and made the experience very enjoyable! The zip lines themself were very find not too scary and good views!

Best Zipline experience! The guides Ben and Xander did a great job and were also very funny guys. Informative and joking around but made us feel totally safe. They gave us different challenges to do on each of the Ziplines. Going upside down was really fun! The views were beautiful. I did the 6 line Kea tour ending in the steepest Zipline. There is a steep downhill walk getting to the last one. If you get warm easily by walking like me you won't need a puffer jacket. It was 10-12 degrees on my visit and just wearing fleece pants and a fleece jumper over a t-shirt was enough. Basically the temperature wasn't much cooler than down at the bottom in town. I'd recommend gloves though as your hands get pretty cold. You can bring small things with you, like a small water bottle, keeping in mind the guide will have to carry it for everyone in a massive bag lol. Also, use the bathrooms at the luge entrance before coming down to the zip tree house, they are the closest. Definitely a must do experience in Queenstown and will be recommending to everyone, thanks guys for the awesome time!

I thoroughly enjoyed all the zip lines on the Kea tour, especially the longest with its stunning views and the steepest for the speed. The tour guides were awesome and added to the experience with jovial banter and interesting facts to do with the Queenstown location and environment.

Cool bar with a concept. At the entrance you get coats and gloves, the place itself is one small space with a bar and a few ice chairs, an air hockey table and statues, very small and in the evenings it is worth making a reservation because it is crowded. The alcohol is low level but the place is beautiful and the service is kind

This is a fun tourist gimmick that everyone should do at least one time in their life! Could only stay for one drink because BRRR 🥶 but it was a good laugh! The drinks have barely any alcohol in them so you’re not coming here to get drunk lol But save your glass made of ice and smash it on the ground outside for extra thrills 😅

It’s a nice bar for first timers but not sure if it’s worth the vibe. I went on 19/04/25 at 7pm, there were 21 people in the small room at once. Front staff and bar person were really friendly.

So u just have to pay for the mock-tail for 10 nzd or cocktail for 16 nzd with free entry!

Good for ice bar experience. Not good for cocktails. Their cocktails were basically 10-15 ml alcohol + 10-15 + topped up with juice. We ordered 12 cocktails between it taste like apple and orange juice. Only one with tequila had abit of taste to it.

Crazy business model to let people drink in a room and pay $400+ when they break an ice sculpture they have lying about. But don’t worry, the drinks they serve there are so weak you don’t have to worry about it. Mid experience.

This is truly a must-do activity in Queenstown – the perfect balance of adventure and stunning natural beauty. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting. The driver’s skill (360 turns) and confidence gave me complete peace of mind while still keeping the excitement at the highest level.

We did the jetboat ride at 1pm today with Skipper Matthew and it was absolutely brilliant! Having a different company cancel our shotover ride 2 days in a row made us quite disappointed until we went up to the realNZ counter and booked their jetboat ride straight away. We were very happy with the whole experience and it definitely made us happy again 😁 thanks Matthew and the rest of the team, my partner and I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience you provided to us.

The jet boat ride was really fun! Highly recommended during your trip in Queenstown. I’m surprised at how far the boat went, and you’ll be mesmerised by Queenstown’s landscapes while enjoying the breeze on the jet boat. Love the 360 turns too!!

I've done the Shotover, KJet and now RealNZ. I'd have to say this was by far my favourite! Matthew was fantastic, and made our experience that much better, not to mention he was a wealth of knowledge! Thank you for the wonderful adventure. My family thoroughly enjoyed this experience!

Absolutely fantastic! Our driver (I think it was Chris? English guy with black hair and beard?) was a great driver, and made stops along the way to talk about the river, the area and a few LoTR facts which I really enjoyed. Definitely book the hour if you're considering this, 25 minutes wouldn't have been enough. Would do it again 100% with RealNZ.

I had my phone in my pocket for most of the ride, so not a lot of pictures. It was glorious. The swerving and 360° turns and "close calls" were all amazing. Prepare to get wet, no matter where you sit on the boat. Our driver was lovely, I'd ride with her again given the choice!

Had an amazing experience with the team. The crew was very friendly and willing to help. They were also considerate to other passenger's as well. Those boats have some crazy speed. Plus, the view is just breathtaking

We had the BEST time at Ice Bar Queenstown! From the moment we stepped inside, it felt like walking into a frosty wonderland. The ice sculptures were absolutely stunning—so detailed and creative, you could tell a lot of care went into crafting the entire space. Every corner was a photo opportunity! The drinks were delicious and served in glasses made of ice, which was such a cool (literally!) touch and the prices were super reasonable, especially considering the unique experience you’re getting. But the absolute highlight of our visit was Lucy, our bartender. She was incredible—so friendly, fun, and made the expierence even better. Lucy made us laugh and really brought the whole experience to life. It felt like hanging out with an old friend who just happened to be amazing at mixing drinks. If you’re in Queenstown, do not miss this place. Whether you’re in it for the art, the atmosphere, or just a few icy cocktails, Ice Bar delivers. Huge thanks again to Lucy for making it unforgettable—we’ll definitely be back!

We had the most incredible experience at Queenstown Ice Bar. We are thankful to Izzy and Ava (hope I spelled correctly) that made our experience so much better. We loved the drinks we had and seeing all the ice sculptures. We stayed our full hour and enjoyed every minute of it. Izzy and Ava offered to take several pictures of us. Looking back this will be one of our highlights of visiting Queenstown. It is a must see if you visit! Thank you!!!

Queenstown Ice Bar was recommended to me by my Airbnb host and it did not disappoint. The bar area itself is big enough to fit about 10-15 people but the designs of the ice sculptures are phenomenal, the music set the vibe incredibly and the drinks tasted exquisite! A must visit in Queenstown for me. Bring a few friends down and you’ll have a hell of a time. One thing to note - though the time and day I went (Friday 6pm) there were no queues and you could easily buy your tickets there on the day, I had walked past the place a couple times prior to visiting and there were small queues, so best to look and book online in my opinion.

Eh. The ice sculptures are cool. The staff was great! The drinks, if you like cocktails (you know good ones) are just sugary nonsense. Don't pay for the drink upgrade even thou it's very little extra. The experience is kinda cool although you're really just drinking in a commercial freezer with ice sculptures. Been there done that. Fun to try once.

Visited in Oct-25. Great experience, well worth the money, with a reasonably sized group, quick service at the bar, and plenty of opportunities to take photos. Would definitely recommend.

Great experience. You get an hour in there plenty of time to take pictures and have a couple of drinks. Some of the sculptures are very detailed. The cocktails are nice simple but tasty

Queenstown Ice Bar was a fun experience for our group, we had a tasty refreshing cocktail served in an ice glass, the staff were lovely and we took lots of photos, we enjoyed our time here and the Ice carving were detailed.

A lovely cruise in Lake Wakatipu and a must-do in Queenstown. Our skipper, Dan, is such a nice guy. Friendly, cares about the passengers and is very knowledgable. Anne made a yummy Hot Chocolate for us. Thank you guys, We had a wonderful afternoon !

Excellent 90min cruise. Our Captain was very knowledgeable and shared so much information with us. It was very fascinating. Views were beautiful. We had a group of 7 and all thoroughly enjoyed it. Great value for money.

We booked this trip without expecting too much because it was more cost effective compared to the steamship excursion which I did 9 years ago. But we were pleasantly surprised by it. Skipper Dan was amazing (helps that he has a great baritone voice) and we had a good commentary of queenstown and its history. Give it a shot. The small guy always punches above its weight.

Silky Otter gave me the best cinema experience I've ever had! Not every cinema has luxurious recliners and the cinemas that do are way to expensive. The recliners were clean with no food crumbs stuck in the cracks. The food was great and the entire building was clean, modern and luxurious.

While I love smaller cinemas and finally comfy seating, I'm extremely disappointed that 9months after opening there are STILL no Espresso Martinis available. First month, no worries - I understand securing suppliers etc can take time. BUT it's now October - online and in cinema menus still have Espresso Martinis listed as an option - but no... they can't make one (even thought menu states 'don't see your preferred cocktail, just ask our friendly staff, they'll make it for you') Please get this sorted, or at the very least reprint your menus!

Visiting from Australia we wanted to take the kids to watch the F1 movie. This cinema is new and very swanky, equal to a gold class experience with soft reclining seats and you can order food and drinks/alcohol to take in the cinema and a cheaper price than Aud.... The cinemas aren't large either so you get a great experience. Highly recommend.

Extremely comfy recliner seats, can get hot food delivered to your seat and delicious mulled wine. Wonderful front of house team. I'd emailed earlier to ask if we could store our luggage while watching the movie before our flight and they were very accommodating. Highly recommend to anyone who needs a moment to put their feet up. Only thing missing was a coat hook on the back of the bathroom door. Otherwise fantastic cinema experience!

Kids birthday party held for a very excited 5 yr old. Party room was a great addition to the jumping and the access to the trampolines from the party room ment the kids could come and go as they please. We had a great time and would def book again The lovely young man on working was really warm and inviting and made our visit easy. Thankyou.

Unfortunately despite past positive experiences, staff today were argumentative and condescending regarding questions about their newly implemented policy of making it mandatory to purchase socks from them. No patience, explanation of why, or understanding of why there wasn’t an expected change from us as customer. The staff member also refused to swap the socks purchased for better fitting ones for the kids when asked. To top it off other members of staff then used the facilities around us to practice jumping themselves without the mandatory socks. The high cost of the booking, plus the bad customer service experience doesn’t encourage additional visits.

We had the best time at Site with our six children. Joshua, who was working there, truly made our visit so enjoyable. He was incredibly helpful with the kids, always patient, attentive, and willing to answer their questions. His kindness and support really made a difference to our experience

This is my daughters first term at Skateboarding club with Tim from Site... she loves it!!! Tim is great coach and really helps her overcome her fear when dropping in. Highly recommend for anyone looking to improve their skateboarding skills and have fun.

An insane experience and so much fun. Much easier to do than bungy jumping as the workers push the button for the swing. A 300m swing with a few seconds of free fall. This swing is in a separate place to the bungy and takes about 30 minutes to get there, can take longer due to traffic. To do a second swing, it’s only $50 NZD extra, i would recommend doing that if you enjoy it as it’s more expensive to do 2 separate swings. There are different ways of sitting such as forwards, backwards, opposite your partner or even upside down. The staff are friendly, funny and keep you safe.

What an experience, the price can’t be off putting to many but worth every dollar. A must not miss experience!

We did the swing and it was a very cool experience! The staff were all very friendly and helpful, from the receptionists and bus driver to the pair attaching us to the swing. You get a great sense of freefall with the swing, without any risk of “stage fright” that you might get with a bungee jump if you haven’t done it before. So definitely a great entry point - we actually used this as a warm-up for our first time skydiving the next week! What really surprised me was just how great the photos and video were. There’s multiple cameras at the top of the swing as well as one auto-tracking camera in the valley, which really captured the thrill of our freefall. Basically our video looked pretty much as good as the publicity material - probably the best production value across all the videos of the activities we did in NZ!

Cozy casino with a decent range of slot machines 🎰. Staff were nice and friendly.

Very small but still fun casino. Ensure you have your passport as you are required to sign up to enter. Not a lot of machines for a casino but still a good time. Not impressed with the staff training as when we were on a table I asked to do a bet and was advised that I was incorrect then when a new staff took over he allowed me so the knowledge is lacking it seems.

The place is small, grimy and tired. Entry procedures are now challenging for first time visitors as you have to be identified on the way in via photo ID. They have scanning processes for this, but they wouldn't work for me, so mine had to be processed manually, which was a bit of a chore (I appreciate this is likely a NZ govt requirement, but Sky need to improve their processes). Table banter and staff were good, and having a small win helps.

A truly disappointing experience. From the moment I arrived, I was asked several times to remove my cap — even though it was clean and discreet — while other guests were wearing beanies or shorts with boots, and no one said anything to them. I was wearing dress pants, so I was appropriately dressed. It was impossible to play peacefully: every time I sat down at a slot machine, a staff member immediately jumped on me to make me insert my card and enter the code. (It happened several times — I assume it’s part of their internal procedures.) It was incredibly stressful when I just wanted to enjoy myself. Without the casino card, you simply can’t play — a complete waste of time. I was told that my Auckland casino card would work here, but in the end, it didn’t. I had to get a new card, break a $50 bill into smaller change, and even fill out a form… So many unnecessary complications. The casino itself is tiny, there isn’t even an electronic blackjack machine, and the staff is constantly watching your every move. I even got told off just for taking out my phone to snap a photo of the entrance hall. Honestly, you feel watched the entire time. The only positive point: one free drink thanks to the card. But honestly, it’s the worst casino I’ve ever been to. I do not recommend it at all.

The casino will happily take your bet on perfect pairs blackjack but will then only tell you when you win that the bet isn't valid because you aren't betting a box as well. Bad practice doesn't check or let you know will let you bet illegally without telling you until you win then dont pay

Ate at the Wild & Thyme Restaurant which served pretty good food for affordable prices. Portions were good and service staff were friendly. Generally a nice place to just have a quiet meal and chill.

We did the canyon swing as a group of four, and honestly, we were terrified! Standing on the edge with our hearts absolutely racing, we were all questioning our life choices 😂 But once we were off the platform, it was hands down one of the most insane and unforgettable things we’ve ever done. And the best part? We didn’t get pushed... they cut the rope. Slowly.... That moment of suspense was so intense, we were screaming before we even dropped and laughing right after. Kayla and her team were absolutely amazing. Their energy completely transformed the whole experience. Joking with us, hyping us up, and throwing in just the right amount of chaos to keep things exciting. You get to choose how you want to be sent off, which makes it super fun and personal (and maybe a little chaotic, in the best way). If you’re anywhere nearby, do it. You won’t regret it. Huge thanks to Kayla and the crew, you guys made our trip!!

It was a fantastic experience, everything from meeting the staff in the office all the way to making the actual jump. They were amazingly friendly, helpful, and so fun to be around! I would most definitely recommend going with these guys that was a blast.

I was in Queenstown with my 20 yo son who wouldn’t stop talking about doing this Canyon Swing which I had zero interest in doing. In a moment of weakness I walked into the storefront in town to inquire about price and to see what the deal is. We were immediately greeted with the Jedi mind tricks of Archer and his co-worker. Ten minutes later we were on our way to this death defying adventure. This operation is so professional you know it’s going to be safe, but at the same time they make it SO fun. They were playing Linkin Park “One Step Closer” when we got to the platform, lol. I still can’t believe I did this and we paid for the second jump! (which oddly was scarier than the first). I think everyone who works here has a degree in psychology. They know exactly how to get people to enjoy this. If you’re on the fence you can do it. I can honestly say this was a life changing experience for me. Get the video package!!

Visited KJet Queenstown in September 2025 and it was one of the most thrilling experiences of our trip! The jet boat ride was pure adrenaline from start to finish, high-speed spins, sudden turns and plenty of splashes that kept everyone laughing and cheering. The driver was skilled, friendly and made sure we had a fun yet safe ride. The ride lasted about an hour, which felt just right, long enough to enjoy the excitement while taking in the stunning scenery. The crystal-clear blue water, surrounded by mountains and open skies, made the whole experience even more spectacular. We wore the provided life jackets, which helped keep us mostly dry despite the occasional spray. We visited during early spring and the weather was perfect, cool but sunny, adding to the enjoyment. Everything was well-organized from check-in to boarding, with friendly staff who made us feel welcome. Tip: Bring a waterproof phone case so you can record the whole experience without worrying about your phone getting wet. A must-do in Queenstown — thrilling, scenic and unforgettable!

Had an absolute blast with KJet! The ride was thrilling from start to finish — speeding across Lake Wakatipu and twisting through the Rivers was such an adrenaline rush. The driver was super friendly and made the whole experience even better with cool spins and fun commentary. Loved how it departed right from the Queenstown pier — so easy and convenient without needing transport. Definitely one of the highlights of my Queenstown trip! Highly recommend to anyone looking for excitement on the water.

What a great experience! This was a last minute decision to do and thankfully they are located central in town which makes it easy when staying near by. My family of four (12 year old and 5 year old) loved it and had so much fun. We couldn't fault our experience - Expect to get wet!!!!

Fun & worth it, a great way to see Queenstown! Anton was great, he explained everything clearly with a bit of humour mixed in. I got absolutely drenched from the spins sitting in the back left seat, would certainly recommend wearing waterproof pants if you have them!! During the ride it did get quite cold even though the weather was mild, especially when the water hit our faces so a hooded jacket or snug beanie is also a good idea :)

Super fun and exciting! The 360-degree spins on the lake were awesome, with water splashing everywhere. One thing I really liked was the heated handrails in front of the seats. It was a bit cold while speeding across the lake, so the warm grips were a nice surprise. Great experience overall!

Great experience. The staff were lovely and supportive of both myself going very slowly and my family spending along. It’s inside an arcade area so you could spend a whole afternoon there if you want.

Great for young and old! We had a work group through and all ages raced and enjoyed. The laser tag was epic too (hint take your jacket off as we got a sweat up running). The team at game over were awesome couldn’t recommend them any more highly!

Fun place to spend a rainy day in Queenstown! They’ve got heaps of fun arcade games and laser tag, but the real highlight is the go-karting. The track is well set up and the karts are fast. Staff were friendly and made everything easy. Definitely worth checking out if you’re looking for something different to do indoors.

Was a great last activity to do in Queenstown and close to the airport. The staff were accomodating as we had our suitcases with us we were able to leave these in a storeroom whilst we played arcade games, go karts and laser tag. Staff, facilities and experiences were all awesome! Highly recommend.

One of the best experiences I have had. This one was a challenge bucket list item and I thought it would be really scary but it wasn't. Easy to do, very calming and tranquil up there. I wish I had the money to do it over and over again. 10 to 15 minutes is definitely nowhere near enough. The views alone are worth it. Simply amazing.

Stop thinking and just book this! As a first-timer for anything adventurous, I had such an incredible experience. My instructor was fantastic, he made me feel completely safe and at ease, walking me through every step. I couldn't rate this higher!

An absolute must do activity if you are visiting Queenstown. The staff are incredible. My first booking was cancelled due to weather conditions but the team worked with me and my very tight schedule and managed to find a time for my partner and I to glide! Brooke and George are the most amazing instructors and made the experience something truly special. Trust me when I say let them show you how exhilarating paragliding can be! 10/10

A shoutout to Tuscany for being so accomodating and changing our schedule to an earlier flight. What started to be a first time experience for my son and my wife landed up being a first time for me as well. The pilots at the desk managed to convince me to take the plunge especially with being uncomfortable with heights. Our pilots Blake, Brooke and Mike were amazing and we had an amazing experience. Highly recommended for an experience with amazing views and just the calmness in the air.

My 12 yo boy had a fantastic experience, paragliding for the first time. The instructor, Pete, was so kind and super enthusiastic, which made my son feel at ease and excited from start to finish. As a parent, I felt assured by Pete at the helm. Overall, this was an unforgettable experience for one adventurous, young man! Booking with the company was easy and all my questions were answered when I called to enquire further. Purchasing the paragliding photos and video is a must!

Amazing experience for someone like me who finds skydiving too challenging! However I can relate to some of the not so good reviews. We booked 12pm slot and saw ppl flying at 11am while walking to the gondola. However after we took the gondola and reached the G Force counter, we were told that we will go back down on the gondola and fly from Mt Coronet instead. We were planning to do Luge in the same day so we had the gondola tickets. I could imagine for ppl who purchase a gondola ticket just for this, It will not be a too happy situation. Also the skyline staff were very friendly and helpful to give us tips that we can ask G Force crew to bring us back up to the Luge so that we do not need to buy another gondola ticket. The G Force staff at the counter said OK to us but the driver who brought us back said he had nothing to do with that. While we understand that G Force and Skyline are two different companies, I am still surprised that they could not work out sth between them to make it easier for the paragliding customers.

I would like to give a huge compliment to my coach, Brooke. He always kept a smile and was very friendly. You can feel his passion for the job. Since I have a fear of heights, I was a bit nervous, but he made me feel completely at ease with his professionalism. Although the weather was a bit cloudy that day, the overall experience was still amazing. Thank you for making my birthday trip so memorable! I highly recommend Brooke 🫶🏻🪽🪂

Small intimate theaters. Excellent viewing of the movie. The seating is not the best in one of their theaters and the leg room tight. Staff were courteous and welcoming.

Great staff! The cinemas though are a bit dated. Of the three screens, two are decent, but still due for an upgrade -- the other (the one with a balcony) is particularly average. People in the back row will block the screen if they stand up and the old school flip down seats are not comfortable. Last time I was there it sounded like they were missing the front left channel. Anyway, we don't have much choice in Queenstown at the moment, so hopefully these screens will see some love some day so it's more of a cinematic experience.

Omg this cinema was just a bit sub-par. We walked in, it was clean enough but smells of BO and cheap deodorant. It was so stuffy in there I didn’t feel too well. It felt better as the movie started though. The food and drinks seemed very overpriced. Not my favourite movie experience, although the staff members were very friendly.

Filling in our day before going out for dinner. Enjoyed watching Dr Strange with the Family. Tuesday movies $13 compared to $17. Seating up top was rather crammy with little leg room, otherwise ok.

Went to watch a movie to kill some time on a freezing Thursday afternoon with the little one. Foyer area good be spruced up a little, however the cinemas themselves were quite comfortable with less seating than I am used to (not a bad thing). Staff were friendly enough, and the complex is fairly central in town.

Our first time skiing, we had great time in first timer course, our Instructor Ralph is amazing, he make us fall in love with skiing! My 3 year old kid also enjoyed it, even he can not speak English, it’s not a problem, he spent a whole day in Skiwiland, teachers are do professional to make kids feel comfortable!And we parents can enjoy skiing!

Have spent the past few days at Coronet Peak. The skiing itself is great, and would recommend going. We were encouraged to get the bus through the Centre instead of car hire. Appalling service, we have had to wait over an hour each day to get a return bus. Honestly seems very disorganised. You book the bus so they know how many people need to get back to Queenstown. Yet not enough buses and the staff had no idea why. Really disappointing to have this end to the day, every day.

I got the Night pass for last friday to Coronet peak and I was very disappointed… When I bought the ticket the website said I would be able to enjoy the snow from 4pm - 9pm but just on my first run down the safety guards asked me to wait until 5 pm to go down until the machines were done preparing the track. I was hoping to enjoy the sun light and ended up losing 1 hour. Then when it was finally ok they turned on those big snow fans through out the track which hurt my face every time I was passing through it and many times made me lose control and fall. How is that for safety? Anyway, disappointing. You should at least let people know that this is how it’s going to be before buying the ticket and correct the time on the website should be from 5pm to 9pm since you have to stop to prepare the track for one hour.

Well organised group of people who are very attentive to your individual needs. We booked our entire ski package through them from clothing and ski hire to lift passes and transfers. Everything went off without any dramas. Use these guys as a one stop shop for all your ski holiday requirements.

Their website doesn't do anything. The log in icon doesn't work. When you buy tickets you get no email. The passes work and for some reason work on nzski.com which on an iPhone using Firefox asks you to update safari which is a scam site meaning if they don't know about it, the company has been compromised and hasn't told anyone about a data breach yet. Otherwise why on earth does a brand new app, show scam sites and links on legit sites it makes absolutely no sense. On iPhone, you can't log into nzski at all via the coronet website nor via nzski. I was baffled and concerned that after logging into coronets website, I'd had both my pass and my partners pass. Why did I never get a purchase confirmation email but the website has our passes and our names? Why do multiple websites connect to each other but some work some don't some work on android some don't work on iPhone some need desktop mode some don't it's an absolute bloody mess and based on the scam link that appears on the page that can't appear unless it's in the websites code itself which means for absolutely no bloody reason, nzski/coronet try to scam iPhone users, or the website itself is compromised. I had no issues with my tickets working but personally I'd just go up the mountain myself and buy at the shop or go with another ski field because these guys have either a compromised IT system and an incompetent one or just incompetent.

Long story short I accidentally booked a group lessons for my family and friends on the website and it was too difficult for us to make it on time. Luckily, in just one call, Mefi and his supervisor offered a private lesson and bus tickets for us with an acceptable price difference. I’d say Mefi deserves higher wages than the previous phone picker who said there’s nothing they can do to fix it as everything is not refundable.

Relative to Colorado (USA) ski areas, this place was small; Maybe the size of the front of Arapahoe Basin. Conditions were just okay due to a lack of fresh snow. Runs were pretty short and easy. It was wonderful to ski in late July. Low clouds kept the views minimized. The drive up and down from the ski area was spectacular.

Yonder is always such a vibe!!! This time we went for dinner and ordered the brisket with fries and the Japanese fried chicken. Very well served and beautifully presented. Big brisket fan here and it was melt-in-your-fork tender!!! Loved the barbecue sauce and the spices on the pickled red onion. I tried two drinks suggested by the staff: the Woohoo and the Miss (something I can’t remember). I honestly couldn’t pick a favorite! Guess I’ll need to go back to refresh my memory hehe Thanks & well done team! Isa

Chic restaurant that serves unique brunch options, with their pancakes garnering quite a bit of attention and caught our attention when looking for a brunch spot! 🪑 there’s quite a bit of outdoor seating when we arrived, and they are warmed with 2 heaters in the centre - making it a good sitting area to enjoy the outdoors 🥞 pancakes were unique, was a little skeptical coming into it as it came with a steep price tag, but saw that it was actually unique when served, with lots of different bits which makes for quite a flavour bomb - i would personally still prefer my pancakes the traditional way with savoury food though. 🥦 the cauliflower dish had a million flavours as well, a dish that is hard to processed flavour wise (in a good way) - the kale was the standout as it was perfectly crisp. ☕ coffee was too milky for the large cup, but otherwise decent It’s quite a pricey brunch spot for the quantity, though the quality is definitely present when comparing it to other cafes.

Great place to just hang out and chill The waitress serving us (I’m sorry I can’t remember your name but you had the nicest pair of corduroy overalls ever) was super friendly and attentive. Amazing service, she really put the work in to make sure everyone was having a great time.

Wow, Al was looking after us and she was a delight. We have been in Queenstown for 10 day and we all voted this as our favourite meal and are considering back for breakfast but have flights to catch. Huge kudos to the chefs and staff. We highly recommend Yonder.

Quickly became my favourite morning stop. Half price coffee between 8 and 9 is a winner. The poached eggs with pulled pork is something special and for those who are hungry. Would also recommend the cinnamon swirl.

This place is a gem! Perfect breakfast spot but you can also get lunch & dinner, the vibe and seating area is awesome. Heaters and blankets accessible at each table in the winter, great music playlists and table service. The staff are happy to make changes to your dish if needed (I had things in separate bowls, and asked to swap ingredients from another meal).

Came for breakfast. The venue is actually much larger than expected from what we could see from the road. We got vegan pancakes with extra sausage. The pancakes were very good for being vegan (and maybe gluten free too IIRC). We were also impressed by what seems to be house made sausage, although they were more like koftas or burger patties. Not cheap but servings are generous. Service is very friendly and attentive. Venue is stylish and distinct.

Nice track that appeared to be off the beaten path! There are several seating benches and places to linger and take in the scenery! This is also a great track for a quick run along the water!

Lovely walking track along the lake. Undulates up and down and some sections are quite rocky so I suggest good footwear. Has great views all the way along and some sections through the forest. Can be walked from either direction - is approx 40 min long. Has a toilet on the Sunshine Bay Boat Ramp side.

Gorgeous walk in a tranquil setting, apart for the traffic on the road. Lots of places to stop and enjoy the surroundings.

This is not any easy walk. It is a hike. I wnet from town towards the Bay. Very rocky, lots of tripping hazzards. Up and down. The waterfall 10 min in was a dud couldn't hardly see it. Found another further in which was nice. At the other end is a carpark. You have to turn around and walk back unless you are lucky like i was and bum a lift to the bus stop.

Lovely walk with rolling hills all throughout. This walk won't (or shouldn't) break you. It gives a nice mix of foliage and views for days. Watch out for the wild raspberry bushes.. They are everywhere!

This track starts at the carpark near the Fernhill roundabout and ends at Sunshine Bay beach, about a 1.5 hour return if you don’t stop and enjoy the beach (pretty hard not to). The walk is almost like a mini Abel Tasman experience, as it stretches along the lake. Rumour has it that the more adventurous hikers have seen an 8-foot waterfall along this track, which has eluded even DOC staff. We asked a local, and she brought us to an innocuous point that will lead us to the waterfall (I uploaded a photo of this point. It’s about 10-15 min in from one mile carpark, on the left before you go up to the highest point of the track) - you can barely see the path as it literally goes through the tall grass and bushes. I tried to explore it with an acquaintance I met there - we got to a point where we had to sit and scramble down a steep slope. I gave up and turned back at this point, but she continued. I never found out if she found the waterfall. This path is very overgrown and there are sharp branches so please cover up your limbs before you go in. Honestly though I don’t think it’s worth the effort, there are much bigger waterfalls in Mount Aspiring National Park you can see just by driving in.

My husband and I always enjoy going to local markets as we travel. It’s fun to talk to the vendors and discover things unique to an area, whether it’s produce, hand-made products, new food concepts or just good ideas! This is one of the best we have come across as there is a broad assortment of things, including a bookshop van! We bought some great fruit and cheese, and had one of the best fresh pizzas ever! Thanks for a wonderful morning!

So many wonderful stalls with local produce and local crafts. Live music and a community atmosphere as well. I highly recommend those Malaysian curry puffs with some authentic sambal. Love the dishwashing for plates and cups too. Definitely worth doing if you are in Queenstown.

Really enjoyed these markets. They’re the largest in Queenstown I reckon. Beautiful view. Lots of stalls, including arts & crafts, food, wine, plants, books, coffee trucks and food trucks. Nice live music as well and is dog friendly (except inside the barn).

Pretty cute place. There were various stalls selling artisanal items, fresh bakes, international delicacies, fruits and honey! Do note that they are only open on Saturday

Fab local farmers market. Lots of local options and a good mix of farm stands, cheese, sweets and crafts. Lots of food trucks as well and it’s fully sustainable with a coffee mug tree. If you want anything take away don’t forget a Tupperware and to go mug

Spent a few hours at the Saturday morning markets and the food was excellent, lots of different craft stalls and a limited amount of fresh produce. My wife and I had a coffee at the Ryder coffee stall and I it had to be one of the best coffee I’ve had, hot and full of flavour. It’s worth a visit.

This is only open to members or for exhibitions. There are a variety of classes in different mediums and some artists in residence.

Not many towns in New Zealand have as a good an Arts Centre

Great friendly staff and service, we ordered tickets online which made things smoother. Our session had a lot of people, close to 20 people, so it made it a very tight squeeze inside as the room is quite small. The ice sculptures were amazing and the drinks very tasty, however difficult to get good photos or a seat initially due to crowding. The staff came around and took group photos for everyone which was lovely. People do leave early however so if you stay to the end of your hour session you get the place pretty much to yourself. If travelling with kids would recommend 👌

What an awesome and 'cool' experience!!! We pre-purchased entry + 2 drinks, great value and the cocktails were so YUM! Jackets & gloves provided by the wonderful staff. Shout out to Olivia who was fantastic, happy to take pics for everyone while serving up the drinks too! The ice sculptures are really impressive, music was pumping, drink glasses are made from ice and a fun touch at the end is getting to smash your glass into the ice bin. Wasn't sure if we were going to last the 1hr but the time flew by having a great time! Thank you Minus 5, 100% recommend!!

Minus 5 Ice Bar was such an amazing experience! The customer service was a solid 10/10 – from the counter staff to those inside the bar. Everyone was super friendly and even offered to take photos for guests, which was a thoughtful touch (especially for couples wanting some memories together). We chose the Adult Signature Package, which included entry and two cocktails/shots, and I’d say that’s all you really need. The drinks were fun and tasty – we especially loved the Peachy Penguin cocktail! I was a little surprised by the size of the ice bar, as photos make it look bigger, but it didn’t take away from the experience at all. The ice sculptures and atmosphere made it really unique and fun. The provided jackets did have a bit of a funny smell (unsure how often they’re washed), but the gloves were excellent and definitely helped keep our hands from getting frozen or wet. Overall, a really cool and memorable experience that I’d recommend to anyone visiting Queenstown.

Had an absolute blast! Nevis is amazing, the platforms are floating mid air above stunning valleys. The bungy and swing was fun as you get to experience the drop and free fall, and if you want to go another time, you'll get a good discount on the day. The catapult was a bit mysterious and I would honestly not really recommend it. You essentially get pulled by a bungy rope in the beginning before being pulled back again, you don't get the free fall experience but it would probably suit people that wants to soar in the air but don't want that stomach dropping free fall feeling. Overall an amazing day. I sure did catapult my money away though haha. You get great pictures and videos sent to your email and a t-shirt on top, included in the price. You'll regret not trying :)

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhh! Thats all 😭 Absolutely terrifying but absolutely brilliant and sooo freaking pumped after I did the k bridge bungee yesterday with my friend who I couldn’t have done it without. The people on the bridge and in the shop really helped calm my nerves especially walking up on the bridge taking my weight I was sooooo nervous. Then the lovely dear lady who’s name escapes me who I gave a hug after, told me what I will feel, how I will fall, and the rush of excitement and joy I’d feel after, then she said to get behind the rail and take a seat. Another commitment, was visibly shaking when I sat down to get my ankle straps and the guides helped so much letting me know how to make myself do it etc, they calmed me down, hooked me up, got me to the edge and said don’t look down just keep your eyes up or else it will look twice as high, he kept me on the edge, said take deep breaths, you’re scared now but you have to just tell yourself you’re gonna do it on 5, 4, 3, 2, 1, and you’re gonna go on one. I let go of the bridge, looked at both cameras, kept my arms out breathed deep, closed my eyes, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1. I went….. And my god that drop wasn’t what I expected at all. Something that can’t be explained. It’s not like a rollercoaster at all I promise you you will not feel a horrible in your stomach butterfly feeling. You feel nothing then after 4 seconds you feel the pull of the bungee and I opened my eyes then to a whoosh of verbal tyrants of positivity and self love and pride. I tell you right now it’s one of the coolest feelings to know you’re done something so scary.. will know what to feel next time and it will be just as terrifying. Thank you so much to everyone involved who helped my experience and calmed me down and made me jump. PS the guide counted me down on the drop of the beat. No wonder I jumped.

Sam, Diego and Scott were exceptional making our Queenstown quad biking experience fantastic! What I loved was that Sam taught us the correct quad biking technique and skills we can take with us for when we quad bike next. The team were savvy in assessing our skills (without making anyone feel uncomfortable) and grouped us together, matching our ride track to our ability so we could ride with confidence. We had so much fun and loved it! This wasn’t just a ride on a gravel path, we got to test our skills and for those in our group who were experienced, they really challenged them on great tracks! Very impressed!! A good friend and I recently took part in a ride that I’ll never forget. We booked a half day trip through Skippers Canyon under the guidance of Scott and the team at Dirt Bike Tours in Queenstown. This was my second visit to Queenstown and, being an Aussie country boy, I was eager to slip away from the more touristy areas and seek out some of New Zealand’s stunning natural beauty. Well we sure picked the week for it… non-stop rain in the lower lying areas, good snow fall up high, many land slides reported and weather warnings for wind gusts reaching >130kph. It seemed every activity around had been cancelled, along with all the flights, and I thought our bike ride would be too, However, I was wrong! We met Scott in Queenstown, who jumped out of his car wearing Moto X boots and looked so excited to get on the bikes and have a great time. To be honest, I had a lot of concerns at this point and wanted to know the logistics and safety measures in place… I love adventure but I’ve also got a mortgage to pay. After a good conversation and briefing I could tell this was a professional setup. Scott outlined the gear they would provide to keep us warm and protected, the abundant route options to cater to the conditions and our skill level, the safety gear he would carry in the case of an emergency and the vast experience and knowledge he has of the area. Additionally, the Yamaha’s we rode were in great condition and having the option of a 250 or 450 allowed us to choose our riding style for the day…. Lots of playful revs and gear changes or good old fashion power and lazy torque! Before we set off Scott puts our doubts at ease and guaranteed we would both have a great time….. and I’m very happy to say he was right! Our experience was everything I was looking for in a good adventure/enduro ride. We traversed remote beautiful landscapes and challenged our riding abilities without ever feeling like we were in danger. Scott is a great rider and was able to gauge our abilities quickly, setting a pace that was fun but never pushed us beyond our capabilities. This pace allowed me to follow his lines and watch how he navigated fast flowing water and obstacles on track, helping me to learn some new tricks as we rode. The biggest challenge I faced during our ride was trying to keep my eyes on the track, the scenery is simply amazing! We saw snow capped mountains scattered with wild goats that led down into deep gold rich rivers that still held many relics from the gold rush era. Best of all, we didn’t see any large buses full of tourists pushing in front of us to get a selfie while throwing up a peace sign… we only had the howling wind through the canyon and the roar of rushing water down the swollen river. At the end of our ride we had smiles from ear to ear and had created so many great stories that you’d need at least a few beers to retell properly! The hardest part now is trying to organise another trip back to Queenstown so we can jump on one of their multi day tours and see more of what the beautiful South Island has to offer. It’s an enduro/adventure riders paradise!

My wife and I did the ATV and four-wheel Honda buggy tour in New Zealand, and wow - it was an absolute blast! This was our first time on an ATV, so naturally, we were a little nervous. Enter Sam, our guide and instant comedy relief. He not only taught us the basics but also sprinkled in hilarious jokes that had us laughing so much we almost forgot we were supposed to be driving! His tips were small but incredibly helpful - we actually realized their value the moment we hit the trails. We had booked a one-hour ATV tour, and by the time it ended, we were grinning from ear to ear. But Sam noticed we were having such a good time that he spontaneously offered us a buggy ride up to the top of the mountain. Let me tell you, it was epic! He drove us carefully, suggested the best spots for photos, and even captured some amazing shots himself. Honestly, he made us feel like celebrities on a scenic adventure movie. The experience was thrilling, safe, and completely unforgettable. From zipping over hills to enjoying panoramic views, every moment was pure fun. Sam’s enthusiasm, humor, and attention to detail transformed what could have been just another tourist activity into one of the best adventures of our lives. If you’re in New Zealand and looking for off-road excitement, ask for Sam - he’ll make sure you leave with sore cheeks from laughing and memories that last a lifetime. P.S. Don’t worry if you’re a total newbie like us - Sam has the patience of a saint. And trust me, even if you’re convinced you’ll crash into a tree (or each other), by the end, you’ll be high-fiving your spouse and wondering why you didn’t do this sooner!

Couldn't ask for more! We did the quad bike adventure, unexpectedly had it to ourselves! It was a nice personal experience. You get taught how to ride the quads properly on the practice track, which is a challenging practice track! Our guide Sam was amazing, kept it light and fun but also made sure we knew what we were doing with the quads, especially since we had minimal experience. The trek up the hill was challenging but super fun and had some amazing views and photo ops. 10/10 would recommend.

The self-driving buggy tour with Lachie was an amazing experience! Lachie made everything super chill and easy to follow, so I felt confident the whole time. The scenery was unreal and honestly, one of the best ways to spend a day! Definitely doing it again!

If you are going to do something in Queenstown you need to experience an Off-Road Buggy Adventure with Diego driving!!! Diego took us on an adventure in the hills, saw great views, through water (my personal favourite) and an adrenaline ride you will never forget. In all the things I have done in Queenstown this is the best money I have ever spent. Diego was absolutely awesome and a fully experienced driver that knew what he was doing and we fully trusted him. He was so much fun. We got some fabulous photos, videos and a shared experience my friends and I will treasure. A must for you to do!! If we could do a 10 star review we would.

Sam, Bass and the rest of the crew were amazing! We had a lot of fun, saw some beautiful scenery and learnt lots of skills for quad bike control. We were provided with a jacket, pants, gumboots and gloves that we wore over the top to keep the mud off our clothes which worked very well. The quads are in good condition, run smoothly and are well maintained with good brakes. The team are very focused on safety, quickly getting everyone in the group to a point where they could safely negotiate the varied terrain. I took my 13 year old son along; he and I had such a good time we'll go back again. They don't only do quad bike tours; well worth checking them out. Thanks lads!

Such a wonderful experience flying to and from Milford Sounds. This was our first time going there and the views were breathtaking from the aircraft. Very different to the return journey as well. My 5 year old absolutely loved it since he’s a plane fanatic and enjoyed the conversations with the Pilot. I would definitely recommend them and fly with them again. So easy and such a breeze with so much time saving. One recommendation is to provide snacks and drinks on the cruise for the premium price paid. Thanks for such an amazing experience MSF ✨

This should not be missed. The Milford Sound cruise is secondary to this amazing flight. Don't hesitate, do it, it is worth every cent. Jared was a fantastic pilot in every way - the guy deserves a raise! Well worth doing this experience.

My partner and I had an amazing couples massage while visiting Queenstown. We were warmly greeted and welcomed in. Once ready, our therapists took us through to the comfortable warm room, sat us down and introduced themselves and asked us individually what we would like, a really nice personal touch!! The massage beds were comfortable and heated!!! How good. Both ladies (my partner had Maria, and I had Sulu) were very professional and kind! Absolutely taking on our requests as asked. I was very happy to walk away relaxed and refreshed, rather than sore (I always ask for a gentler massage). We will totally visit on our next trip to Queenstown, totally recommended. Value for money was great, on par with what we pay in Wellington.

Best massage of my life, I told Anita I had been skiing the day before and she targeted all the spots that needed it. One hour felt like 2 and I walked out feeling completely relaxed. Plus the place is absolutely gorgeous, 10/10 interior design.

I am traveling from Australia and was in search of a relaxing massage. Body Sanctum is that and so much more. I had a 60 minute relaxation massage and it was the best I've ever had. Beautiful ambiance in the waiting area and the spa room. Heated massage bed is a welcome touch in the colder months and my masseuse was incredible and provided the perfect pressure full body massage. Sad that it's not my local!! But will find myself booking another massage when I return to NZ again. I couldn't recommend this spa enough. Pregnancy massage for my wife left her crying in pain and unable to get up from the bed at the end of the session. I take full responsibility for booking a session that was either preemptive or performed poorly, but the company should not have consented to offer a 90 minute pregnancy massage to my wife, especially given they were made aware how far along she is beforehand along with which areas were bugging her. Either they were unaware this was a possible outcome, which is not professional, or they did it knowingly, which is negligent, or they performed it poorly, which is unacceptable. We only learned from them after the fact that this was not usually a service they offer for my wife's circumstances. It has greatly impacted the rest of our vacation together. She is still in immense pain and we have had to alter vacation plans. Please do your research whether this service right for yourself or your partner, as this organizion did not do their due diligence and my wife is seemingly permanently suffering from significantly increased pain and difficulty walking. I can't speak against the organization as a whole or their other services, which may be fantastic, but I can speak to what just happened to my wife and our baby-to-be. What a shame. The receptionist told us to walk it off after, and that did provide temporary relief, which was great, but it did not return her to her pre-massage baseline of symptoms. She's just in so much pain right now, over 24 hours later. It's hard to watch.

23 Minute Moderate Hike to an amazing viewpoint of Lake Wakatipu and beyond. There’s a staircase you need to navigate to Panorama Terraces and then you walk on a street to the viewpoint.

Stunning. Would recommend visiting at sunset or sunrise, where you will be able to observe the deep turquoise colour of Lake Wakatipu and a beautiful reflection of the mountain range.

The Lake Wakatipu viewpoint above Frankton offers the finest panorama on the hillside. It looks out over the lake, the mountains, and the town beyond, a scene that captures the full beauty of the region. See it while you can, before some wise developer claims that perfect plot and builds a house with the view of all views.

This was a great tour and the lunch was delicious at Kinross and we got to try many wines at the 3 Wineries we visited. Despite having only two of us booked for the tour, unlike most companies they still went ahead with it. The pick up details were precise and our Driver/Tour Guide, Claire was brilliant, she is full of tips on things to do in Queenstown and places to eat. The company had been recommended to me by a friend who’d been before and she was totally right, I can’t recommend Queenstown Wine Trail Tours highly enough.

Fantastic day with Andrew on our private tour. He was knowledgeable, entertaining (and long suffering!). We were treated so well at all the wineries we visited with private tastings, in some amazing settings, and our lunch & wine (included) were beautiful. This is the way to do it!

We had the best tour, led by the wonderful Teaukara, who kept us laughing all tour. We visited three magnificent vineyards in Central Otago and we loved every minute of the tour. If you’re fortunate to get Teaukara as your tour host, you will have a great time!
