Restaurant
Corto Maltese Freestyle Food is a popular spot with a unique, rustic atmosphere that serves updated Croatian and Italian cuisine along with creative cocktails. The restaurant's eclectic decor creates a whimsical ambiance, featuring comics and antiques. Guests rave about the impressive presentation of the dishes. The Honey Ginger Mojito made with brugal rum, lime, mint, honey, ginger, and soda is a crowd pleaser.
Incredible food, incredible people. MALA is the best server; so attentive, such good recommendations, perfect service. We had a large group that she handled flawlessly. I would recommend anyone to come here and enjoy all of the food, and the beautiful wines that they have on offer. The dessert was delicious as well! Mala made our evening perfect.

A great meal. Feels home cooked. Service was fantastic. Not overbearing. Attentive to our slow pace. Great wine recommendations. Lams was delicious and meat fell off the bone. Tagliatelle was fresh and the Buratta was amazing.
Robert R — Google review
This place is like ART. My little dessert eggs were just delightful. The food was great. Just don't get overambitious and over order. Freestyle means it's not made to any set traditional recipe, suits me fine - better than eating various iterations of the same thing, you finish all the traditional recipes in a short time in Croatia. Special mention to the wonderful politeness and respect given by the wait staff. Above the already high Croatian bar.
Michael T — Google review
My boyfriend and I went here yesterday for dinner and were so amazed by the food! We passed by and thought it looked very cosy so decided to try. The food was so so good and without a doubt the best we’ve had during our whole vacation (which was 13 days). Our waitress was incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. We loved every minute of it and would recommend it!!! Oh and I really loved my strawberry lemonade!!
Lisa W — Google review
Dining at this restaurant was an absolute delight from start to finish. The food was nothing short of stunning—every dish beautifully presented and bursting with flavor. From starters to mains, everything was executed with precision and creativity, making it hard to pick a favorite. That said, the mains, The Squid Game, and Angry Bird, ae well as the dessert, Nadalina, deserves a special mention. The dessert was rich, indulgent, and perfectly balanced, and it was the kind of sweet ending that lingers in your memory. Service was equally impressive. The staff were warm, attentive, and genuinely cared about the dining experience. They struck the perfect balance between professionalism and friendliness, always on hand without being intrusive. The ambiance added to the charm—stylish yet relaxed, with a vibe that made you want to linger a little longer. Whether you're out for a romantic evening or a casual dinner with friends, the setting feels just right. Prices were surprisingly reasonable given the quality of food and service. It’s rare to find a place that delivers on all fronts without breaking the bank. This restaurant is a gem, and I’ll definitely be returning. If you’re looking for a memorable meal with exceptional dessert, _Nadalina_ alone is worth the visit.

Mala is incredible and made our dinner absolutely phenomenal! Each dish ordered was fantastic, we even requested to meet the chef and he was just so humble and kind. This was by far the best dinner we’ve had in all of Croatia, and we’ve been here for 7 days and went sailing to multiple islands and this was our BEST meal! Definitely recommend!
Michelle M — Google review
Absolutely amazing! One of the best dining experiences I’ve had in Croatia. Every single dish was delicious and full of flavor — you can truly taste the quality and care in the food. The atmosphere was also perfect, with great vibes that made the whole evening even more enjoyable. A special thank you to Ana, who was incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive. She made us feel so welcome and added a personal touch to the experience. Highly recommended! I absolutely loved it and will definitely come back. ❤️

I don't know how to explain this place... don't hesitate and just go there. I had a sensational experience. Especially the "smoke on the water" and " ballad of the salted sea" were next level. I came there second time even more. People working there were super nice as well, highlight of my dinner experience in Splir.

Bokamorra Haute Couture Pizza & Cocktails, also known as a "Pizzaurant," offers a luxurious dining experience with its upscale setting and sumptuous Neapolitan-style pizzas. While it is the highest priced among its peers, it still offers reasonable prices compared to other restaurants in town. The menu features a variety of pizza options, including traditional choices like Margherita and unique creations such as the Shrimp pizza.
Excellent cocktails. Our bartender was so lovely - knowledgeable, attentive and friendly. He took time to explain the story behind each of our cocktails. Attention to details is excellent in this place. We also had a sweet pizza, which was very interesting to try.
Katarina F — Google review
Based on a recommendation from our host, as one of the best pizza restaurants in Split, we figured we would try it, not impressed. The crust was very thin and tasty, but not completely cooked in a few areas of my pizza. The tomato sauce was kind of thick but had the taste of a spice I was not expecting on pizza, might have been fresh oregano and the cheese had no taste at all. The restaurant has a bar atmosphere with loud music and loud conversations. Overall, not bad pizza but not traditional flavors at all.
Jamie W — Google review
This place is built for the young and the nostalgic, 80s pop hits, and a lively crowd. The staff are genuinely friendly and impressively efficient, keeping the energy upbeat and the service smooth. The pizza looks great: thick, charred crust with quality toppings like black olives, capers, and anchovies. Ingredients are fresh and well chosen. But structurally, it’s a mixed bag. The edge is thick and almost deep-dish, while the center is thin and soggy from too much tomato sauce. It leans Neapolitan, but the balance is off. Great for a fun night out with good vibes and solid service.
Simon C — Google review
While service and ambient was nice, the pizza itself wasn't as we expected. I personally think that they pushed too far with ingridient mixes. Sticking to traditional pizzas would be better. But it's just my taste. If you want to try some new pizza flavors, this place is for you. Drinks and cocktails were fine, we enjoyed them.
Lourenzo M — Google review
We went here on the recommendation of our walking tour guide and we were amazed indeed. They accommodated us even without any reservations. We had the porco mio with lars and tartufizza. Both were amazing wood fire baked pizza served with the side of chilli and garlic olive oil. An empty plate indeed points towards the taste and quality of the food here
Monotosh C — Google review
We were recommended this restaurant by our extreme canyoning guide as one of the best pizza restaurants in town. We came as a party of 9 people on a Saturday around 5-6pm and had no issue getting a table. I ordered the Porco Mio pizza and that was exactly to my tastes. There was also chilli oil, garlic oil, and chilli flakes provided on the table as condiments. I'd recommend visiting this restaurant if you want a proper, non-fast-food pizza.
Brandon L — Google review
Make a reservation to guarantee you get a table. The pizza is the best! Great menu. Large drink menu. Service is top notch. Love the garlic oil and pepper oil toppings. They also have desert pizza, so save room. Lovely vibe. Great bar area.

This was a great spot for dinner and drinks! The staff was friendly and gave me an amazing drink recommendation. The atmosphere is fun and loud. The pizza was pretty good (the crust was so fluffy) but the bottom was a little thin. Overall a great dinner experience!

Bokeria Kitchen & Wine is a stylish restaurant and bar in Split, named after Barcelona's La Boqueria market. It combines the concept of a high-end restaurant and a wine bar, attracting international celebrities. The interior design is spectacular, making it one of the city's most recognizable locations. Bokeria offers pan-Mediterranean cuisine and an extensive wine list, perfect for wine lovers.
Best octopus I've had having been around Croatia 4 times now. The tenderness and juiciness of the meats is outstanding, and the garnishes and side dishes are just as good. The risotto is also absolutely incredible. The starters are very good, although not as mind blowing as the main courses. The fish tacos are the standout in my opinion. It's a very popular place, especially in the evenings, so make sure to book a table a very long time in advance. They do try to accommodate walk ins though. The music is a bit loud, again, especially in the evenings, which together with the crowd noise makes it a little difficult to hold conversation.
Alejandro G — Google review
We had a very disappointing experience here and definitely will not return. For starters, we ordered the soup and the codfish spring roll. The spring roll was the only decent thing we had crispy, flavorful, and well done. Unfortunately, the soup was a complete letdown. It was bland and absolutely no richness or depth you’d expect from a restaurant charging these prices. For mains, I had the squid ink risotto and my husband had the Angus beef. After our starters, we were left waiting almost 20 minutes for the mains. The risotto was dull, lacking any balance or seasoning, and had an unpleasant aftertaste. The Angus beef was chewy and poorly cooked, paired with mashed potatoes that were supposed to be elevated with truffle oil. As a country that actually produces truffles, this version was shockingly below standard flat, oily, and with none of the fragrant quality you’d expect. Service made the experience even worse. We were given a completely different menu from another table, which left us questioning whether there was some form of bias or discrimination happening. And when we asked for the bill, a female server simply pointed her finger at my original (male) server, refusing to assist and continuing her personal chat instead. Completely unprofessional, dismissive, and unacceptable for a place that positions itself as “above average.” Overall: long waiting times, overpriced dishes, inconsistent menus, poor service, and food that is far below the mark in flavor and execution. One good spring roll can’t save an otherwise awful dining experience.
Dee B — Google review
Bokeria in Split is a beautiful restaurant with a stylish and inviting atmosphere that immediately makes you feel like you’re in a special place. The presentation of the dishes is excellent — everything looks amazing and carefully prepared. However, while some plates taste just as good as they look, others don’t quite deliver the same “wow” factor once you try them. Prices are on the higher side compared to other spots in Split, so it’s definitely more of a treat-yourself place. Overall, Bokeria is worth visiting for the ambiance and experience, but not every dish lives up to its presentation.
Remus M — Google review
Truwel and prosciutto pasta was delicious, Caesar salad needed more sauce. Soup was ok, byt nothing special; soparnik is really good here, recommend it. Amazing wine (local chardonney). Service is very good and attentive.
Aveli A — Google review
Sat upstairs by a window. This place was really good. Everything was executed perfectly. The sea bass with the cauliflower puree was a great combo. Dont skip soparnik either for the appetizer!! Would 1000% return. Great location in the old center of Split
Michelle P — Google review
Had a great sea bass meal here this evening - very reasonably priced. Wait staff was incredibly friendly and a great vibe atmosphere. Without doubt, if you are into Croatian wine, this is THE PLACE in Split to visit. They have over 160 Croatian wines to choose from, ~30 of which you can buy by the glass. I had a Grk, Pošip sur lie, and a dessert wine all from Croatia - the first two with my sea bass. All were excellent!
Michael H — Google review
If I could give Bokeria six stars, I would. This place doesn’t just serve food - it performs it. Set inside a refurbished 19th-century hardware store, the ambience hits the sweet spot between Mediterranean elegance and modern soul: high ceilings, warm wood, slow jazz, and the low hum of a packed dining room that feels alive with conversation and clinking glasses. Now, the black risotto - the best I’ve ever had, anywhere in the world. It’s made from cuttlefish ink, rich enough to stain your soul, creamy from the slow-simmered arborio rice, yet with that perfect bite that tells you someone in the kitchen respects texture. The cuttlefish itself - tender but with structure, brined in its own ink, releasing that deep, oceanic sweetness that hits you like a memory you didn’t know you had. Each forkful lands with the intensity of truffle and sea salt and ends with a whisper of citrus. Pair it with a Medica, Croatia’s honey rakija - it’s smooth, golden, and just sweet enough to round the salt of the sea from the risotto. Follow that with the mint rakija, which feels like brushing your teeth with liquid sunlight - crisp, cool, and sharp enough to make you grin. Bokeria isn’t just a restaurant. It’s where the spirit of Split sits down to eat with you. Unreal food, unreal people, and a level of culinary rhythm that’ll have you planning your next meal before you’ve finished the first bite.
Neel B — Google review
This restaurant charmed us completely! The historic setting with its gorgeous interior made dinner feel special. Food was delicious - modern takes on Dalmatian classics with perfect execution. Their wine list impressed us with excellent local options we wouldn't find elsewhere.

Sushi restaurant
Bota Šare Split - Oyster & Sushi Bar is a popular spot for sushi enthusiasts. The restaurant offers a variety of sushi rolls, with generous portion sizes and impeccable presentation. Customers rave about the perfectly balanced flavors and the freshness of the oysters. The service is described as professional, friendly, and efficient. In addition to sushi, the menu features other delicious options such as chicken spring rolls and teriyaki steak.
The best sushi I have ever had. Full experience you don't want to miss out on. The service is excellent. Would recommend this to anyone who visits Split.
Celeste — Google review
Such delicious sushi! Unexpected lunch stop at this gem of a place. We ordered a bunch of rolls, spicy tuna, sweet shrimp, and some of their speciality rolls. It was so delicious that we wanted one more bite, so we ended up ordering the tuna teriyaki bowl. I would say this was my favorite part of the meal, tuna was cooked perfectly over rice. Sauce was excellent. Honestly if you’re in the mood for sushi, must go here.
Shirley Z — Google review
Good experiences, fair prices and excellent food! Raw shrimp roll was excellent. Interior design is lovely. Service is good.
Amalia S — Google review
Unfortunately this was some of the most basic sushi I’ve ever had. We had this our last night in Croatia and it was the most disappointing of every meal in Croatia. We had four different roles and sashimi. Source: Japan, NYC, and other inland sushi spots, including Dubrovnik.
Jesse M — Google review
I enjoyed my time here. Fresh food, full of delicious flavours. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Recommend coming here
Benjamin H — Google review
I rarely leave restaurant reviews. The sushi here was tasty but overpriced. What prompted me to leave this review, though, is that I ordered a glass of wine and received this much wine (this photo is taken after one small sip). Why serve a glass of wine this empty?
Sarah C — Google review
The reviews are all correct - this place is great! I love sushi, have had it all over the world and this place ranks highly. Staff are friendly, attentive and you get served quickly. Nice menu with some classics and some more unusual dishes like deep fried oysters to try! Been here twice and the food was incredible both times. Will always be back, nice to see they also deliver too!

We. Loved. It. We went on our second night in Split and again a few nights later. The waiter recognized us immediately, he was really nice and friendly!! Everything we tried was amazing. The oysters, the sushi, the tuna and the wine... recommended 👌👌👌👌

Historical landmark
Zinfandel Food & Wine Bar is a chic and modern establishment situated in the historic center of Split. The bar, named after the famous Croatian Zinfandel grape, boasts a diverse menu featuring Mediterranean-inspired dishes paired with an impressive selection of Dalmatian wines. With a warm and inviting ambiance, patrons can enjoy live music while indulging in elegantly crafted meals and a variety of shared platters that include cold cuts, artisan cheeses, and marinated seafood.
We ordered pasta with prawns, seafood risotto, and mussels. All these dishes weren’t special, but still tasted good. But the real star of “Zinfandel”’s menu is desserts. We chose cheesecake, kadaif cannelloni, and lemon tart — each looked beautiful and was more than just tasty. One point comes for a good service: our waiter was polite, friendly, and attentive. The only problem in this restaurant is the coffee which tastes terrible. Generally, it’s a nice atmosphere in this place, hospitable people, tasty food and live music, so we are delighted.
Olha V — Google review
Excellent dishes. Octopus was prepared to a level I’ve never had. Not chewy, slight sweet and nutty. Well balanced dish with chickpeas olives etc. The restaurant is curated to a level consistent and expected from Michelin guide restaurants down to the lighting, live music and 10/10 service. Not stuffy, pushy just a laid back atmosphere that will keep you coming back when you’re in Split. Highly recommended
Thomas — Google review
Just amazing! Highly recommend Zinfandel for an amazing meal and evening out in Split. The food was delicious and they were able to cater to my dietary requirements (including dairy and some seafood) without any issue or compromise on flavour. The wines were all superb and the waiter gave great recommendations and information about everything we tried. There was also live music, which made for a great atmosphere.
Kristy G — Google review
I’m from Toronto and I’ve come to Split the last two years in a row and Zinfandel is always a non-negotiable restaurant. The food is amazing and the staff is so amazing and hospitable. They remembered me and my friend from the year before and welcomed us with warm greetings. This most recent year, 2025, we went a total of 3 times within a span of 24 hours. They are also amazing with accommodating to gluten-free and dairy-free restrictions. Big thank you to Igor who remembered us from last year. Also thank you to Leon and Marina who served us this year also.
Grace R — Google review
Food was sublime. Every dish we tried was fantastic. Ingredients and combinations work so well. Service was fast and professional. Only cons was that the live music was a bit too loud. Otherwise, the best experience we had in our trip. Will not hesitate to come back if I ever return to Split.
Paola P — Google review
We came across Zinfandel from the Michelin guide. We were very excited to give it a try. We had the lunch deal (two courses for €29). We had - cauliflower mushroom starter (mushrooms were extremely salty) - pesto risotto (there were supposed to be shrimps inside, I got two very very small pieces) - beef burger was actually nice - dessert was supposed to be a chocolate tart, it was very disappointing the only option they advertised wasn’t available for lunch, we had the cannoli, it was a bit too hard. Service was slow, we received a discount as a compensation. Overall, our experience did not match the Michelin recommendation.
Julia Z — Google review
This restaurant is a must go. We had the tuna steak and the duck breast. Both plates were sooo good. The Markus white wine to go with it was amazing. It truly deserves it’s Michelin mention.
Alexandre L — Google review
We ate the muscles with figs, which was for me a bit of a strange combination. The fish and steak afterwards was very good. The service was good. The restaurant was fully booked, but you could still talk, even with the live singer that did a great job. We sat at the window and the garbage collector passed 2 times which gave an unpleasant smell.

Villa Spiza is a charming and unpretentious restaurant located in the old town of Split. The place exudes an authentic and cozy atmosphere, with a dog lounging on the doorstep and a kitchen filled with the enticing aroma of garlic. The menu at Villa Spiza changes daily based on the fresh ingredients sourced from local markets, fishermen, and butchers.
This is a very small family operated restaurant on the north side of the palace just on the south side of the wall. There are only about 8 or 9 tables so recommend you come early as they are popular and they don’t take reservations. Menu changes every day and they actively cross out items on the hand written menu as they run out of ingredients. Excellent fresh food they make right when you order. Very reasonable prices for the area and friendly and efficient staff.
Paterjo — Google review
Fantastic food, vibes and service. This is an excellent restaurant if you are a solo traveler because there is individual counter seating on the kitchen side of the restaurant (“split” into two buildings on two sides of the street) where you can watch the chef at work. Dinner and a show! Staff were friendly and genuinely seemed to be having fun. Great experience and delicious food. I had the squid and a cheese plate. Tiramisu looked amazing.
Rebecca B — Google review
The place smelled amazing from the street and turns out it was coming from the place we had read about on several pages. My boyfriend got the veal liver and I got the hake with polenta. Both mains were tender and delicious and worth the wait. The place was busy. It has two locations across the street from another. The mood of the kitchen staff was jovial and relaxing. We really enjoyed our meal. We would happily come back here again.
Allison W — Google review
Small, family run business with an amazing atmosphere and one of a kind vibe. Unfortunately, our own experience with the food was negative. My wife ordered the beef stew, and I the anchovies pasta. The beef stew was nothing but bones, fat and cartilage, so my wife couldn't eat it. The pasta was also not to our liking. The guys offered us kindly the drinks on the house, but i refused and paid the whole bill. We ended up eating somewhere else.
Fareed N — Google review
If you are looking for a small family-run restaurant with local dishes made with simple and fresh ingredients, then Villa Spiza is the place for you. It's quite a small restaurant, so it gets crowded very quickly however, we went there around 5pm and it was super quiet so we didn't have to wait. I ordered the Dalmatian Prosciutto, wich was served with bread, olives, salad, and the most amazing sun dried tomatoes I ever had in my life. The prosciutto was so tasty, I thoroughly enjoyed it and the portion was quite generous. As main, I had the tuna pasta which was so tasty, it honestly reminded me of the tuna pasta my mum makes at home back in Italy! Please be aware that payments are cash only, so make sure you have cash with you.

A lovely small family owned restaurant and heads up, it is cash only there. We enjoyed our very first meal in Split at this restaurant. I went for the sardines starter as never had them before and they were delicious! I then went for the calamari as my starter and it was a very unique meal that I enjoyed a lot! Service was great and I couldn't recommend this place more if fancy some home-style cooked meals!

Very cozy, beautifully decorated place in Old Town Split. The margaritas and the food were excellent. The service was incredible too! They recommended their favorite dishes to us and they were all incredible. Note: It is cash only.

Very cute Mexican restaurant in old town Split. It's a great option if you're looking for something a bit different from the other restaurants in town. Excellent veggie and vegan options too. The food is very tasty but it's not served spicy so you can add your own heat levels. For spice lovers the hot sauces are exceptional and have a fantastic heat. Great margaritas also! I love how they donate money to the street cats of Split. A nice kind idea.

Woowwwwww!!! Such an exceptional service and food, you must go to this place in your tour to split! Definitely can't miss if you are a Mexican food lover and like different flavours bursting in your mouth giving your palette a rich ride of tastes coming together so nicely...It's a small place and hence you might have to wait until being seated if you are going on weekend, but I promise it would be worth it ... Being a vegetarian this is a gold mine to find!!
Aparna S — Google review
The food was authentic and full of flavor, but what really stood out was the service. The staff went out of their way to help us choose dishes and even offered different sauces to try, which made the experience feel personal and thoughtful. Everything arrived quickly and tasted great. The only downside was the portion size—it felt a bit small for the price. But considering the location, right in the heart of the castle area, that’s somewhat expected. Still, for quality Mexican food and genuinely welcoming service, this place is absolutely worth a visit.

I loved trying tacos around the world. These were genuinely some of the best I’ve had in Europe. I ordered several options - pork rib (Al pastor), carnitas, and beans & plantain. All incredible. The horchata was a 10/10 and my husband also had the fish tacos, which was also incredible. Can’t go wrong with this place if you need a break from all the local classics. :)

A fantastic find in one of the small streets or Split which is like stepping out of Europe into Central America. The food was fantastic, traditional dishes with moreish flavours. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Be aware it is cash only, but there is an ATM around the corner. Definitely worth a visit. Pic is of the three tacos (fish, mushroom and vegetable)

had a great dinner at To Je Tako. The atmosphere was great with friendly staff who were organised with seating arrangements - it’s best to get in early as it is a cosy vibe but limited seats. The food was incredible with lots of options for vegetarian, spice and your fav Mexican classics. The food is well worth its price (€16-25)- delicious! Drinks were tasty and fast to come out.

Mazzgoon is a renowned Mediterranean restaurant located within Diocletian's Palace in Split. The restaurant takes pride in its meticulous food preparation, offering a diverse menu that includes homemade pasta and unique dishes like shrimp burgers. Additionally, Mazzgoon boasts an impressive selection of Dalmatian wines. In recent years, the city has seen an expansion of dining options, with Mazzgoon standing out as a popular choice for traditional food served with a modern twist.
Lovely atmosphere, the patio to the rear makes for a wonderful experience. We had the cheese board starter with the chutneys followed by the gnocchi and the tuna. The tuna was a definite highlight and would recommend, but all the food was thoroughly enjoyable. If you’re looking for a place to eat in Split, then you would be wise to consider dining here.

The place is very nice, quiet, comfortable. But we were disappointed with the food. We ordered risotto with prawns, pasta and pork steaks. Meat was delicious, but the portion for 29€ is really small, there was no side dishes. Risotto was salty and full of sauce. But the dessert was delicious. We visited the restaurant several years ago and were happy and very satisfied with the food, sizes and prices. This time really big disappointment.

Mazzgoon is a charming restaurant offering both indoor and outdoor patio seating. This is a family run modern European food restaurant. We dined here in the evening on the patio. The weather was perfect. We were enveloped by the dim lighting and the history of the castle walls, a truly magical vibe. We truly enjoyed our dishes. Beautifully presented. The only disappointment was that the mussels were almost too salty to eat. Our waiter kindly explained they don't add salt as they come from the already very salty sea. This made sense. We ate them anyway, with a lot of additional beverages lol

So good!! The lamb ragu gnocchi, mine and our superbly friendly waiter Alex’s favourite dish. All the food was good and a cool place!

Amazing restaurant to have dinner in Split. It has a rear terrace outside , quiet and aside from the busy street in the center of Split. The food was very tasteful, good quantity and good price for the dishes. The waitress were very nice and giving a great service. I fully recommend to have dinner in this beautiful place in the heart of split !

Stop walking around tourist restaurants and get a meal here! We tried many of the top places in Split (and Croatia) and nothing beats this place. The service is so gentle and warm. The head chef Ante is a genius. At age 23 he runs an incredible menu. Peter our waiter was amazing with food recommendations and service as very quick. We recommend the local cheese platter and the mussels fettuccine pasta. A big bonus is their quaint outdoor seating for the best private dining experience. Will be back on our next trip to Split. Articok is an upscale European restaurant with a bohemian ambiance and outdoor seating. The chefs at Articok come from various countries and have been recognized with prestigious culinary awards. If you're in the mood to splurge, Articok offers modern fine dining near the northern city walls. For those seeking local specialties at affordable prices, Buffet Fife is recommended.
Articok in Split truly offers a fantastic dining experience, as beautifully captured in these images. From the inviting ambiance to the exquisitely presented dishes, it's clear this restaurant is a must-visit. The outdoor terrace looks incredibly appealing, providing a perfect setting to enjoy a meal under the clear blue sky, with charming views of the surrounding historic buildings. Inside, the modern and artistic lighting creates a chic and sophisticated atmosphere. And then, the food! The dishes are not only visually stunning but also appear to be crafted with care and creativity. The braised meat dish with mashed potatoes and fresh vegetables looks incredibly rich and flavorful, with crispy fried onions adding a lovely textural contrast. The pink drink and bright orange cocktail suggest a vibrant beverage selection to complement the meal. The appetizer with sliced ingredients, like carpaccio, adorned with fresh herbs and a side of olives, hints at a refined and fresh start to the meal. The risotto topped with thinly sliced fish showcases an innovative approach to traditional dishes. Overall, Articok appears to deliver on both atmosphere and culinary excellence, making it a highly recommended spot for a memorable meal in Split.

Had dinner here this evening and had a fantastic time! The food was delicious and great value. My friend had the aubergine risotto which she said was delicious and I had the slow beef risotto and as the waitress described it's a "party in your mouth". The staff were amazing! They were super allergen conscious. My friend has a severe nut allergy and they couldn't be more understanding and helpful. They were also very informative about the wine and dishes. The atmosphere on the roof top is exquisite with old movies showing on a projector. I'm so glad we came across this restaurant ❤️
Jennifer B — Google review
My wife and I went here the other night for supper. I definitely recommend making a reservation to eat up on the roof - amazing atmosphere. After being seated, we were quickly met by our waitress and she took our drink and food order. I will say that being on the roof after sunset is a perfect meal. They project old movies on a building next to the restaurant - very unique. Our G&Ts tasted great with a local tonic. Our meals were fairly quick to come out and tasted great, and the waitress was very nice and helpful with menu explanations. I would like to point out another interesting thing on their menu - you can buy meals for the needy by adding them to your bill. The money is collected and at certain times of the year (Christmas, etc), food is delevered/provided to needy families. I think this is an amazing idea, as you enjoy your delicious food, you know that you can also give back to those less fortunate in the community. Thanks.
Troy C — Google review
We had the slow cooked beef rib and the duck. The food was tasty and price was reasonable for the quality. Duck dish could have been a tiny bit hotter but nice experience overall. The rooftop setting was a great atmosphere. Enjoyed our meal out.
Emily R — Google review
Beautiful roof terrace just past the end of the boulevard. Good option if you're looking for a bit more elegance to your dinner, beyond what a regular Croatian konoba can offer. Dishes on the menu sound creative and exciting and are sourced locally (so is the wine list). We had the bruschetta with sheep cheese and aged ham (pršut), followed by an excellent artichoke risotto and seafood orecchiette. The risotto was our favorite; very fresh, perfectly al dente, and a good balance between olive oil and zesty lemon. The seafood pasta was tasty and contained a nice amount of courgette to balance the saltiness. Very high quality food, living up to the expectations set by the relatively high menu prices. Portions were a bit small though, so I would recommend ordering an additonal main course to share. We had just one glass of white wine, which failed to impress. However, the salted honey whiskey sour I liked a lot. Staff is friendly and more than happy to provide recommendations. The inside of the restaurant looks modern but still cozy, but the roof terrace was even better, with a 1950's black and white movie projected on another building to complement the ambiance.

We didn’t have the chance to sit upstairs as it was already full, but we were seated on the ground floor right away. The food came almost immediately, which was a pleasant surprise, and everything was delicious. The staff were very kind and took the time to explain how our dishes were prepared, which made the experience even more enjoyable. The only disappointment was the Pavlova dessert. It wasn’t quite what we expected , traditionally it should come with fresh fruits, especially when they are in season. While it wasn’t bad, we wouldn’t recommend it compared to the rest of the menu.
Cristina P — Google review
Stopped in here for lunch. I got an appetizer of focaccia with cheese and prosciutto, and a Jerusalem artichoke/artichoke risotto. Both very good, but the risotto would have been filling enough on its own! I couldn’t finish. Also ordered an Aperol spritz. It was fairly quiet while I was there as I came right when it opened.
Danita B — Google review
DELICIOUS food and absolutely amazing environment! The food and drinks were incredible and the service was excellent. There was even a black and white movie played on the side of the building during dinner! A bit more expensive, but very worth it!

Terminal F at Split Airport offers a diverse range of dining options, from international flavors to local tastes. Visitors can enjoy dishes like quesadillas, flautas, dressed up tacos, burritos, crab tacos, pulled pork sandwiches, Vietnamese pho soup, burrito bowls and healthy wok dishes. The restaurant selection includes Zoi, Mazzgoon, Articok, Galerija and Bokeria among others.
Terminal F Cafe & Restaurant in Split is a must-visit gem! My coffee break here was unforgettable, thanks to their super-friendly staff who greeted me with a warm welcome. The waiter was attentive, offering great recommendations with a smile—truly customer-focused service. I tried the Strawberry Vanilla Homemade Ice Tea and Ginger Mango Lemonade Fizz—both incredibly refreshing with bold, natural flavors. Perfect for Croatia’s sunny days! The cafe’s airport terminal theme adds quirky charm—think retro-chic decor, cozy seating, and subtle nods to travel. Despite the playful theme, the space feels neat, clean, and inviting. Plus, it’s dog-friendly (water bowls provided!) and stroller-friendly, with wide aisles for easy navigation. Families and pet owners, take note! Located in a bustling yet relaxed spot, Terminal F strikes the ideal balance between vibrant energy and cozy comfort. Whether you’re a local or traveler, it’s a delightful pitstop.

Found this place on a rainy evening in Split. We were a party of 6 and had a few different appetizers and mains. Everything was ok. We returned the next day for a quick lunch - had pizza - was great and the salad rice bowl - was so so, I would have probably changed the long grain rice for a different type and serve it as a cold salad. Drinks were on the pricier side, but that's expected given the location, right off the harbor and right on the Riva. Yet, the overall experience was very good.

On the seaside I would rather called Port, but this place instead of airport Terminal F. I like the design (could be great if arrival departure boards replaced with LED TV where Split airport live data could be displayed). Staff very friendly (girls hot 🙃) food very tasty. Only 4 stars as extremely salty (I do like salty food but this was even to much for me) the only place in Croatia where we found European style lemonade (sparkling water syrup lemon slices and ice). Ok maybe a bit overpriced. In hungary 0.5L around 3€, here 6.5€ Will happily come back

The food was good but not representative of the photos , I had the pancakes as breakfast on the picture it was a layer of 6 however when it came it was only 3, 3 pancakes at 12 euros… then I took the Greek yogurt because I wasn’t full yet again I was deceived, no strawberries as it was on the picture. I can understand actual food and pictures can differ but it’s essential to mention it somewhere on the menu that the picture are only for display purpose… For the service I didn’t give a tip because I was not satisfied and no water on the table , Only positive is the place looks nice.

Yesterday I ordered coffee + cake, which in the price list costs HRK 30, but I was unpleasantly surprised when I received a separate bill, one for the cake and other separate for the coffee, a total price of HRK 38. It is not professional to write in price list one thing, but in practice charge people for more expensive service

What a fabulous place to eat & drink - it's worth visiting just for the tenderloin steak!! Zoran was our waiter and helped us enormously with the menu, extremely polite and friendly throughout our visit to this lovely restaurant. Great food, great staff, great view, great for people watching! We will definitely be returning next time we are in Split. Prices were very reasonable for such a prime location, and cheaper than we found elsewhere in the old town.

Bajamonti was a pleasant surprise indeed. The food was delicious - we went for the seabass for 2 and the monkfish. My girls had the margerita pizza which they cleaned off quickly. Service was lovely and they even kindly re-seated us outside once the rain had stopped at my request. Nothing seemed to be a bother and our waiter was fantastic. He filleted the fish in style and ensured we were comfortable. The atmosphere in the square was truly lovely and lively, whilst not being too loud serving a pleasant environment to dine in. I would highly recommend a visit here!

We had a wonderful lunch here. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. I am a coeliac and I need to eat gluten free, which was clearly indicated on the menu and there were a number of options for me. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The service was impeccable, as was the setting and the ambience. (They even laughed at my husband's jokes 😄). I would certainly recommend you check out this restaurant if you are ever in Split, Croatia. Thank you to the three, wonderful, staff members who served us 😊. Our first night in Split and we were looking for something simple and easy. These folks absolutely hit it out of the park. The wife had what basically in America would be a calzone, and I had a cheese pizza added prosciutto, and both of them were absolutely fantastic! Homemade pizza crust garlic bread was fantastic as well. Had a couple of drinks and the bill was quite reasonable! Highly highly recommend, oh yeah, the view and setting is spectacular as well.

Very nice restaurant with breathtaking view! Super cool they have tables outside because you can enjoy the view. The lobster was perfect - homemade koculanski makaruni was also super tasty! Pandora Greenbox is a popular dining spot in Split, known for its lush greenery and commitment to eco-friendly practices. The restaurant, which opened in 2019, has quickly become a staple of the city's vegetarian scene. Its menu features high-quality plant-based dishes like burgers, beetroot risottos, and acai bowls. What sets Pandora Greenbox apart is its dedication to minimizing the use of plastic.
Amazing food. First time I have ever tried a tofu steak! It was filling and tasty. The spicy pasta was also quite nice. We also appreciated the generous size of the dessert (brownie with chocolate sauce). Couldn’t recommend it highly enough.

This vegan restaurant is hands-on the best we've ever visited. The food presentation is nothing short of stunning. Each plate is crafted with care and creativity. Every bite speaks of top-quality ingredients. It's clear the chefs here are passioante about what they do. We could enjoy Juicy Marbles steaks here, a rare find in Croatia and rare treat. The menu features signature meals. Among them, the standout for us was the starter for two called Garden. It was presented as a moss garden on a plate where every element was edible. The creativity and execution were simply amazing. Despite the high quality and gourmet feel, the prices are reasonable. Highly recommended, definitevely value for money.

We ate breakfast at Green Pandora Box and liked it so much that we went back for dinner. I think the vegetarian menu is a nice touch—it helps the restaurant stand out. The interior is very cute and whimsical, like something out of a fairy tale, and the space is relatively small and cozy. The waiters were friendly and asked several times if we were enjoying the food. For breakfast, we had the Big Breakfast Plate, which was nice, and the pancakes. For dinner, we both had the sliders. Everything was good and a nice change for us. The prices are a bit high, but that’s typical for most restaurants in the Old Town.

This place was amazing. They were incredibly accommodating of celiac disease. The waitress let me know that though there may be some cross contamination they will do their best to avoid it and have not had any issues in the past with people with celiac eating here. In Split there are many vegan options and surely Pandora Greenbox is one of the best. It is wonderfully located in the historical centre, it is very particular with a big tree inside and it has an huge variety of foods and drinks. I had for dinner the amazing Pandora’s Little Garden and it was a great choise: I truly loved it! It looks wonderful, it’s full of flavours well combined, it’s funny, colourful, it’s delicious!!! After it I was full but I couldn’t resist and I took a dessert too: a really really good and fresh Lemon Cake with Coconut Crakers and Cream and a Strawberry&Rose Sauce. What a great little pastry shop. Only 3 tables available inside, no outside seating. Located near the Croatian National Theater. If I hadn't been looking for it specifically, I would have just passed by it. I saw a couple of people sitting inside through a closed door and wasn'teven sure if the place was open. You cannot see the desserts from the window, such a shame! Quite a contrast to hundreds of ice cream shops downtown where the desserts are on display inviting you to buy something. Apparently a lot of people order take out. Went in on a weekday, 1 hour before closing so they only had 3 types of cake available, but at least you know they're fresh. And delicious.

NOIR RESTAURANT SPLIT is a charming eatery located in the wider city center, popular among locals and office workers for lunch. The restaurant boasts a cozy and well-decorated interior, making it an ideal spot for a romantic evening meal. Recently rebranded as an Italian restaurant, NOIR offers delectable handmade pasta, flavorful antipasti, and mouthwatering desserts.
Excellent restaurant in Split, perfect for spending a pleasant evening. The atmosphere is very well-maintained, the food is excellent, and the staff is very kind and helpful. The food arrived promptly and was truly delicious. It’s one of the few restaurants where I’ve eaten so well in my life. I absolutely recommend it!

This restaurant has a very cozy and good looking terrace. It is too bad that it is located right next to a busy intersection that causes quite some noise and air pollution. We got a very kind waiter who helped us really well throughout the entire evening. Our appetizers and drinks arrived quickly and they tasted lovely. However, we had to wait a very long time before we finally got our main course. Ultimately, it was worth the wait, because all dishes that we had were very tasty. One improvement would be to give a sharp knife with meat dishes. I had lamb and it was fairly hard to cut through it with only a butter knife. Where the main dish took a very long time to arrive, the time for the desert to arrive was relatively insane. We ordered a single lava cake, which took more than half an hour. On top of that, the scoop of ice cream was almost completely melted when we got it.. we were very disappointed at that sight.

Restaurant Noir in Split is truly a pleasant surprise and a recommendation for anyone who appreciates good pasta and expertly crafted dishes. During my visit, I was convinced that this is a place that understands the importance of quality, especially when it comes to simple dishes like Cacio e Pepe. Although the recipe is minimal, they use exceptionally high-quality cheese that lends a special creaminess and texture to the dish. Unfortunately, the staff told me that the demand for Cacio e Pepe isn’t very high, which surprised me since they prepare it excellently. Unlike the classic recipe, in my opinion, they use a milder version of pecorino here, tailored to the tastes of most guests, though I personally would prefer a slightly more intense pecorino flavor. As for the service, there could be a bit more attention and presence from the staff, but I actually appreciated that we weren't constantly interrupted. I prefer this relaxed atmosphere to the feeling of being "pestered" every few minutes. So, kudos to the staff. I was able to order the Cacio e Pepe even though it wasn’t on the main menu, but luckily for me, it was still available. To end on a high note, the dessert exceeded all expectations – perfectly prepared, rich in flavor, and definitely worth saving room for as the sweet finishing touch. All in all, Restaurant Noir definitely exceeds expectations. It's one of the rare places in Split that I would always happily recommend to Italian cuisine lovers.

2 fillet steaks, aged rump steak and lamb ragu. Waiter was helpful from the get go, made suggestions. Made sure we had everything we needed, was polite. Food was absolutely gorgeous. Perfect to a T, could not fault it.
Jasmine G — Google review
My family and I had dinner at Noir, and the first thing that comes to mind is the excellent service we received. Our waiter made us feel truly welcome and even went the extra mile by taking our orders in our native language, French, which we deeply appreciated. For my main course, I ordered the prawn tagliatelle. Unfortunately, the dish was overwhelmingly dominated by the taste of prawns, it almost seemed like a prawn paste had been added to the sauce. This made the dish overly intense and somewhat off-putting. Feeling slightly unsatisfied, I ordered the chocolate soufflé for dessert, and let me tell you, I was not disappointed! It was one of the best I’ve had. Perfectly cooked, not overly sweet, and the contrast between the warm soufflé and the cold ice cream created an incredible mouthfeel. My only regret - Offering to share with my brother, could have easily had another one!

What a gem! If you want quality local restaurant that is actually focused on the quality of food and service unlike the touristy places, this is it! I think it was the owner that served us but he was so kind and very passionate about everything. The pizza was one of the best we've had so far on our European trip. Muscles with white wine was so simple yet flavorful. The white wines he recommended to us was a delight. Most of all, the price was amazing. This restaurant is made for locals and it's better food than anywhere near the populated areas near the coast.

If you want to have dinner outside the busy old town of Split then this is the right place. The restaurant is very cosy with the possibility to sit outside. Do try one of the risotto’s, they are very well prepared. The lamb and the burger were also delicious. Good value for money.

La Mia Storia is a hidden gem in Split, offering a peaceful and relaxed atmosphere perfect for enjoying a delightful dinner. The restaurant features live music, creating an enjoyable ambiance for guests to savor their meals. The staff, particularly Nino, is praised for their exceptional service and professionalism. The menu boasts exceptional homemade seafood dishes made with fresh, locally sourced ingredients that burst with flavor. Guests appreciate the variety of options available to satisfy different tastes.
My friends came across La Mia Storia by chance when visiting Split and we are so grateful that we did. Tucked away in a peaceful area, it was perfect for us. Special mention for Nino who was amazing! Funny, friendly, professional and all round perfect waiter👌🏼 The whole team were fantastic 👍🏼 The food & wine were fabulous. We loved every minute and have no reservations about recommending this restaurant. Thank you so much for an amazing afternoon. ❤️

Wow. La Mia Storia was the gastronomic highlight of our visit to Split. A diamond find, we enjoyed the traditional Croatian dishes of Pasticiada and cevapi. Both were excellent. The service is exceptional, very friendly and helpful. And the atmosphere is so relaxed and romantic away from the hustle and bustle of the main square. Highly recommend!

The food is exceptional, with each dish being a true treat. The homemade seafood options are particularly noteworthy, featuring fresh, locally sourced ingredients that burst with flavor. The menu offers a variety of options to satisfy even the most discerning palates. The service was also top-notch. The staff is friendly, attentive, and professional, always ready to answer questions and recommend house specialties. Their attention to detail enhances the overall experience and makes guests feel special. Overall, this is a restaurant well worth visiting. The combination of a beautiful ambiance, excellent food, and outstanding service ensures an unforgettable experience you'll want to repeat.

Great service. Super friendly and accommodating staff who were clearly there to make your experience excellent. We had 3 pizza which was great except the shrimp which was not to our taste. Then we had Cevati (mixed meat sausage like patties) which were incredibly good, and the fish platter which was a great collection of perfectly cooked fish and seafood. We were given blankets to ward off the chilly night and had a lot of fun interacting with the staff. Thanks for a wonderful evening and even making a “hot toddy” for me from an internet recipe. So kind! ❤️

We just had time for drinks, but the food smelled delicious and the atmosphere was lovely and romantic. Soft classic jazz songs play in a nicely decorated and shaded area surrounded by wonderfully smelling herbs, flowers, and food. It was very relaxing. I noticed small lap blankets on the back of several chairs. It's October, so I assume it gets cool in the evenings. What a nice touch!

A hidden gem tucked away not far from the palace - lovely quaint atmosphere, friendly waitress and delicious food. I had the grilled squid (served with a simple but gorgeous garlic dressing) and my partner had the bolognese (which was cooked with a touch of spice) - a thoroughly enjoyable meal and even better there was no queue at all. A great find!

Just a few metres from the busy tourist trail, this is an oasis of peace and excellent cuisine. I had today's fish from the market, simply grilled with garlic and oil. The shrimp risotto was also excellent. The setting is a quiet tiny piazza. Such friendly staff, too.

Joe's Beach Lounge & Bar is a personal favorite in Split, located on the beautiful Kasjuni Beach. The bar offers a gorgeous setting with stunning views and a more secluded atmosphere surrounded by nature. The staff is friendly and attentive, offering great service and good vibes. Visitors can enjoy delicious food options, including chicken burgers and pommes, as well as reasonably priced cocktails. The beach bar provides a relaxing experience with the option to sit at the bar or use small tables at beach chairs for dining.
We booked 2 chairs at Joe’s beach bar and had a lovely experience. To rent a chair, it was $35 per chair. For food, they had a limited menu but we each enjoyed our meals - we had the pepperoni pizza and a salad. For drinks, we had aperol spritz and mojitos which were also fantastic. Recommendation is to bring cash with you because it’s a $70 minimum for credit cards FYI. Would come back here!
Jessica S — Google review
Obviously this place is in a beautiful location. But to have many arbitrary rules about how to pay and where to sit is ridiculous considering each lounge chair is 35 euro. My partner and I wanted to sit in lounge chairs directly next to each other but were told we had to sit with an umbrella between us. So a random stranger could come and sit inches next to each of us. We complied however we were relieved when some other guests came and asked us to move so they could sit together as well. We assumed this was a happy solution for everyone. However, when the woman came and saw that we changed she gave us a huge attitude. We assured her that it seemed to accommodate everyone. She told us “you don’t get to decide that. I do.” Frankly, for the luxury price of the sun beds, I expect service to the same standard. Not to be scolded like a child and stressed for the afternoon each time she walked by. Our waitress was kind and polite. Bathrooms were well equipped with soap and toilet paper but filthy. Also, you can pay for food in euros but only over 70€ otherwise only in cash. But to rent the chairs you need to pay in cash. Seems not only suspicious but arbitrary.

Spent the day at the beautiful beach this lounge bar sits on. I have to admit it was super busy. However, the service was quick. My waitress Anna brought my drink and food to my lounge chair which I completely enjoyed highly recommend this place. Ask for Anna she's fantastic
Stella M — Google review
The bar and beach here were great. I really enjoyed the lounges you could relax on, though they cost €35 each, which can get pricey if you’re with a big group. Still, if you plan to stay the whole day, it’s worth it. The bar staff can bring drinks straight to your lounge, which is a nice touch. They also offer food, but it’s mostly pre-prepared meals for about €16—not amazing, but decent. The service and atmosphere were both excellent. Just a heads-up: it gets extremely busy in the afternoon, so I recommend arriving before noon to get a good parking spot and secure a lounge. P.S. You can also sit on the beach with just your towel if you don’t want to pay for a lounge.
Jaro P — Google review
The service at this place is excellent, thanks largely to Ana, who made our experience very pleasant. However, the prices are quite high for such a limited menu that only offers pizza and salad, and they only accept cash. If it weren’t for Ana’s impeccable service, we probably would have gone elsewhere. Still, her warmth and professionalism made all the difference during our visit.
Mely S — Google review
Great beach club for a day hang! 35 euro for lounge chairs may seem a bit much but if you spend a few hours there, it feels well worth it for the drinks and food service, music, and easy access to the water. Pio, our server, did a great job looking after us with quick drinks service and good vibes.
Lizzie S — Google review
We went a lot to this beach and its beautiful. Water, service and everything is really nice. It is very calm with background music and the water is cristal clear. The food and drinks are a little expensive, but thats normal in touristic places. You have to come early to have place to park the car, if you come with it and to become the sun beds (till 11 am you have place, after that is very difficult). But we liked a lot and we would come back any time.
Filipe M — Google review
35€ per lounger felt expensive for the experience (crowded, lots of people on towels nearby). Food options were limited and not great (cold sandwiches, wraps, pizzas). All cash for the loungers and 70€ credit card minimum for food/drink. Overall would not return or recommend.

Adriatic Sushi & Oyster Bar in Split is a culinary gem that offers a diverse menu influenced by chefs from various countries. The restaurant boasts an impressive selection of sushi, including unique creations like fried oysters and Mexican burrito rolls, alongside traditional favorites like spring rolls and soft shell crab. For those seeking non-seafood options, the menu also features beefsteak and grilled salmon.
We had a fantastic dining experience, made even better by our incredible waiter, Peter. From the moment we sat down, Peter was attentive, knowledgeable, and warm—he truly elevated our evening. The food was exceptional. The sushi was some of the freshest we've ever had, all locally sourced. Every dish was beautifully presented, and Peter’s recommendations were absolutely spot on. The wine pairing he suggested was perfect, complementing the flavors of each course seamlessly. This is a place where both the food and service shine. Highly recommend for anyone looking for top-tier seafood and a memorable dining experience. We'll definitely be back!

We loved this restaurant so much. The food was delicious, we shared some sushi rolls such as California roll, spicy tuna and avocado roll. We also shared an amazing peach salad, the peaches were fresh and very sweet. My husband said the oysters were excellent and this was the first place we could find oysters available in split. The best part was our waiter Alex, he taught us more about the palace and its history. He was so kind and welcoming. Amazing experience.

Best sushi in Split and possibly ever!!! Perfectly prepared and best presentation ever witnessed. I've had lots of sushi from okay to what I thought was really good, but this was outstanding (new level to beat)! If you are a sushi lover would definitely go here if you are in city! It was expensive but quality was worth every bite. Unfortunately my pics are a little dark but served on ice and temperature was perfect!

The service was one of the best quality. We had great recommendations, both about food and wine; and also about the city and sigthseeing. We were amazed by the food, the best tuna I’ve ever had. Sushi was amazing, was better than most of the Japanese restaurants I’ve tried. Sword dish carpaccio - definitely recommend. Special thanks to Peter for the great service and lovely conversation!

The sushi we had at Adriatic was very tasty. The fish is sourced locally and therefore tastes very fresh. Our waiter Ivo was very kind and professional. Desert options change by day - we had a very nice 'modern' applepie. The terrace is warm and cosy - the perfect date spot.

This sushi restaurant is a great spot to go if you want great sushi and a friendly atmosphere. The food arrives quickly and is always fresh, making it one of the best places to enjoy sushi in Split. The deserts are also amazing - definitely worth trying!
Incredible Sushi place. Everything was perfect. The staff is very attentive and nice, and their service is incredibly fast. After ordering our drinks and food, the drinks were served almost immediately, and the food just 5-10 minutes after. The sushi... immaculate. The fish was fresh and flavourful, rice perfectly cooked, and I can't even begin to describe how good their crab sushi (California roll) and Ebi tempura were. And the best thing is the prices are not even that high for a sushi that good! The atmosphere was chill even though we were surrounded by people as the bar was almost full. I recommend this place for everyone who craves sushi, is already a seasoned sushi lover, or would like to try some for the first time!

I always make it a priority to visit Biberon Sushi Bar at least once during my stay in Split. I've been four times already, and each time the sushi was as fresh and delicious as the last. I was pleasantly surprised by the authenticity of the miso soup. The staff are not only kind but professional. The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, offering both indoor and outdoor seating.

First time going to a SUSHI place/bar and I was trilled and excited to try it! We ordered the classic one's with tuna and salmon aswell as some special ones (with seeds and one fried). The fish was very fresh and the ingredients were perfectly going with one another aswell as dipping in in soja sauce. They give you chopsticks and please learn how to use them it isn't hard haha. All in all, great experience that I wish you have also. The atmosphere and the whole decoration of the place is very very appealing and soothing! PS: Portions are about 6 or 8 pieces.

Just got back to the hotel after eating here and I must say, I am slightly disappointed by the whole experience. Our male server was one of the most miserable servers we have ever had. Showed no will to provide good customer service the entire time. The sushi was very nice but nothing special at all. Definitely lacked a wow factor! Atmosphere was a bit flat as well to be honest. When our empty plates were taken away, our server didn't ask us if we want to look at the dessert menu. After a good 15-20 minutes, I asked a female server if we could please have the dessert menu. She came back with them where we had decided what dessert we wanted after a few minutes of looking. However, around 15 minutes go by and no one has come over to ask us what we would like from thr dessert menu. I then turn around to see 3 staff members at the till area chatting away. When our male server did eventually come by our table, we decided against dessert and just asked for the bill. We then asked if we could split the bill between the 2 of us and he said "No". No reason why. Just "No". You guys have many recent 5 star reviews so I am very surprised by the very poor service by you this evening. Maybe it was just a blip but the manager should ensure their staff are doing their jobs better. Lost money from us not ordering desserts and lost tips if we had received a good customer service which unfortunately, we didn't. I honestly don't think it is value for money here but at least the food was good which is the most important thing which is why I have given this place 3 stars instead of 2. Customer service has let you down!
Ross C — Google review
The sushi is good, not the greatest I have ever had in my life, but did the job. It's a bit on the pricey side for what you actually get (a board of 24 pieces is 40€ and all their rolls, 8 pieces in total, start from a minimum of 12€ for the veggie ones to a maximum of 18€)...so you get the picture. Unfortunately, as much as the sushi is good, the service was terrible. Firstly, we had to wait ages before being given a menu (despite the fact that there were only 5 people in there apart from us). Then, we finally ordered and the food came out quite quickly which was good. However, we then requested the dessert menu to a staff member but they never came back to take our order (the lady that had given us the menu was chatting to someone at the bar) so we decided to leave it as we were getting annoyed with the whole situation. Then, when it was time to pay, we asked the waiter if we could split the bill and he told us a straight no, without even saying a sorry or anything. I still don't understand why it's such a big deal in Split to ask to divide the bill between people. It's pretty standard in many other countries I have travelled to! Anyway... Overall, the experience wasn't the greatest.
Perla B — Google review
I saw 4,5 rate and read that there are delicious sushi….BUT my experience was opposite. Hostess girl was very unpleasant. Sushi were very small and not tasty. Sushi with ketchup - very strange taste. Lemonade tastes like standard soft water from supermarket not good quality. Only sashimi salmon was good. I didn’t like this place and I can’t recommend it. Never again(

Me and my parter stopped by for lunch, ended up paying over 70€ for the worst tasting sushi i’ve ever had. The sushi had a very strong fish scent and tasted almost like chemicals. The service and resturant itself was very pleasant, but the food was inedible.

Mini Bota Sushi & Oyster Bar is a casual dining spot with a bar that offers an intriguing fusion of Japanese and Dalmatian cuisine. The restaurant prides itself on serving top-quality ingredients in their creative sushi rolls, fresh seafood dishes, and delectable oysters. Visitors have raved about the freshness of the oysters and fish, as well as the unique twists added to each dish.
Super small (mini) Japanese sushi and oysters restaurant. Two tables out on the pavement and 1 or 2 tables inside. We went there because of the excellent reviews and were not disappointed! Delicious fresh oysters (6 for EUR 10), tuna tartar to die for, and yummy sushi (mixed platter). We were less impressed with the beef teriyaki, which was served on a lot of rice. Clearly, this place is specialised in seafood. The waitress was super friendly and attentive. Including a bottle of great white wine, the bill amounted to EUR 95.00 (for 2 persons).

DELICIOUS! I thought the sushi would be so fresh considering it’s right next to the water, and it did not disappoint. So many locals ordered take out while I had my three rolls, Dragon Roll, Fantasy Roll, and Bota Specialty Roll. All were great! Worth stopping here if you love sushi, it’s a good break from traditional Croatian cuisine if you need one. There’s only 4 tables here, so if you see an open seat, snag it!

This is the best place for sushi in town! Freshness of the fish is unparalleled. The chicken spring roll was one of the best tasting menu items in all restaurants I have ever eaten here. Plus they cook really fast if there is not too many guests there. Cool take away box as a bonus.

I have been to the same restaurant in Dubrovnik so when I heard there was also one in Split I just had to take my mum to try it out & I am so glad that i did. The sashimi is some of the freshest I have experienced to date. It melted in our mouths. The rice was cooked perfectly & the oysters was absolutely delicious. Service was impeccable. We came at a slightly awkward time as it wasn’t yet dinner (we had finished a late Marjan walk & needed to refuel!) but regardless we were made welcome immediately. This is not really somewhere I would recommend if you are after a heavy, large lunch or dinner but it is perfect if you’re wanting something lighter & if you prefer quality not quantity.

If you find yourself in Split and are craving a unique dining experience, look no further than Antique Sushi Split. This charming restaurant offers an intimate atmosphere with space for around 25-30 guests, making it perfect for a cozy meal. The sushi here is truly exceptional; the freshness of the ingredients shines through in every bite, especially in their standout dragon roll and tender steak teriyaki. The service is top-notch, with attentive staff ensuring your dining experience is seamless.
Super nice sushi restaurant located directly on the harbour promenade in the old town of Split. Very atmospheric and modern ambience with a great outdoor area overlooking the sea. The staff are very friendly and the sushi tastes excellent. Excellent value for money. We would love to come here again.

We had such a great dinner here. The teriyaki chicken was super tender and flavorful, the Philadelphia rolls were fresh and just the right amount of creamy, and the tiger prawns in tempura were a real highlight — crispy, light, and delicious. The atmosphere is great — right in the center of Split where everything’s going on, but still calm enough to enjoy a relaxed dinner.

No value for the money you spend, sushi is average and you pay full price for only half of the roll (4 pieces - and no, the pieces aren’t larger or thicker to make up for it).. overall, would not return. The staff was nice.
Lea P — Google review
This was the most humiliating and disgusting experience I’ve ever had in a restaurant. If I could give 0 stars I would but unfortunately I cannot. I politely approached the restaurant with a friend and was completely dismissed by the hostess. I followed her inside the restaurant to ask if we were able to just select a table and sit or if we needed to wait to be seated (the restaurant was empty other than one other couple), in which she replied, telling us we could pick where we want to sit, with quite an uninterested attitude. We chose a table outside, after around 5 minutes and nothing, I went up and grabbed menus for us both, myself, with no service in sight. After we had decided on what we wanted to order, we still had not been approached by the hostess. At this point we had been seated at the table for 25 minutes with no contact from the hostess, being completely ignored. I eventually walked in and the hostess was seated at the restaurant bar on her phone. I excused myself and asked politely if it was table service or if they would like us to come up to order (despite knowing it was table service as we saw her serve the one other couple seated in the venue) she dismissively said it was table service and followed behind me back to our table out on the veranda. She went on to allow us order our drinks and then as we went to tell her our meal order, she cuts me off, looks me up and down and says I should go home and change, I was confused and questioned what she meant, again with the same judgemental and disgust look, she told me they are not a beach bar, they’re a restaurant and I need to cover up. I was in a lovely high neck top and a pair of white shorts, I was not in beach attire whatsoever. I appreciate if there is a specific dress code, and if I was not appropriate to that standard they were expecting, that should’ve been communicated from the beginning. To allow us to be seated, then have to get our own menus, then further have to approach her in the restaurant to ask if we could order, to then proceed to follow me outside, begin taking my order and then abruptly cutting me off and telling me in disgust that I need to go home and change, then I can come back when I’m dressed appropriately was just humiliating. I was polite and apologised, even though I should not have. I was embarrassed as I picked up my belongings and walked off to find another restaurant, feeling extremely self conscious and upset. I felt so lucky when I stumbled upon the restaurant ‘Adriatic Sushi • Oyster • Seafood’ which is about a 200 metre walk away from Antique. I had the most wonderful experience at Adriatic, with the most outstanding service. I would not recommend Antique to my worst enemy. This was a terrible experience and as someone that is Croatian with a Croatian background, I was disgusted to have been treated in this way. If you’re looking for outstanding service, hospitality and incredible sushi, go to ‘Adriatic’, do not go to ‘Antique’, it was appalling.
Jayda J — Google review
We had a very disappointing experience when we approached this restaurant for a table. Despite there being plenty of available seating and the restaurant clearly being less than half full, we were told there was no availability. At the same time, the hostess looked my partner and me up and down in a way that felt judgmental and unwelcoming. If there is a dress code or policy in place, that should be communicated clearly and respectfully—not through dismissive behavior or poor customer service. Instead, we were met with attitude and a lack of professionalism, which made it obvious we were not welcome, regardless of the actual availability. This kind of treatment reflects poor hospitality, and we won’t be returning

I read the reviews and got tempted to not try it but changed mind at last minute. And so glad I did! The Philadelphia rolls and butterfly shrimp were absolutely delicious. I ordered take out and it was ready in 7-8 min. I highly recommend it!

Made a reservation few days before, came at the exact time, no-one greeted us, after reaching out to the third waiter that was working there we said that we had reservation at 9pm The waiter said they canceled because we were late. It was 9:03 pm. After i took my phone and showed him the time, they showed us the table, it was clear that they mixed our reservation. When we were sat we ordered food, it was cold and taste was meh.

Great everyday food well priced. They have a great Sushi range, we had a very good premium burger (but get the bbq sauce on the side as there was a bit too much), pasta with bacon and truffle, great service, lovely warm terrace with good views. Not what you expect in a mall. It was almost empty at 7pm on a Saturday night which was a shame. Would come again.

If it was possible to give a rating of minus 1, this is the institution that would get it, waiters do not pay attention to you laugh, and have to take the menu itself, the rolls are disgusting, it's just garbage, is it possible to serve people and call it rolls? We came here before and it got worse, we won't come again, I don't recommend this place to anyone

Delicious food, waiters are very attentive, and super nice atmosphere. Can’t wait to return and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to anyone looking for somewhere to eat in Split, Croatia.

Nice view and good staff. The food was terrible though, the rice was overcooked and the chilli mayonnaise had no taste. It was like eating a tasteless lump of porridge. Unfortunately I don't recommend the sushi but maybe something else is better.
Hedda A — Google review
Our order was completely forgotten, and when we finally pointed it out, there was no effort to make up for the delay—not even a simple offer of bread or small bites while we waited. The staff didn’t acknowledge the mistake properly, and the bill wasn’t reduced, which felt like a missed opportunity to show some basic service. Location is nice, so in a place like this, service makes all the difference, and sadly, it was nowhere near the standard it should be. Avoid this place!
Kristoffer H — Google review
Great place but the waiter is a very cheeky person. tells you to come to the counter to see the bill and suggests to pay cash and unfortunately i didn't had cash. when he heard it he became outrageous, speaking very loud and threatening. We asked him to call the police but he asked for the money and just went away. Never coming back! Do not go there until management is changed.
