Campground
Nestled in the heart of downtown Tucson, Sentinel Peak RV Park offers a convenient and comfortable base for your adventures. This charming park features essential amenities like a pool, clubhouse, laundromat, and restrooms. Its prime location allows easy access to public transportation and numerous bike trails, making it perfect for exploring the vibrant city. Just a stone's throw away is the iconic Sentinel Peak, also known as A Mountain.
5 stars for this small, clean, gated and secure, quiet campground! We only stayed 1 night because we were passing through going up to Phoenix area. It was easy to book online (which I love) Full hookups. Plenty of room in the sites. Easy access from I-10. There are several small restaurants and a grocery store across the street for anything you need. I would definitely recommend this place and would definitely stay here again!

I am very new to the RV Park life and live full time in my Keystone Sprinter. Sentinel Peak was the first place I started and my experience was great. After reading several reviews about the park not having shower facilities, I went to their website looking to see if showers were posted on the amenities list, which they are not. However, the restrooms and laundry facilities are an additional bonus! It's a very small, gated, well maintained park close to the downtown area and the authentic Barrio of Tucson. Shopping and many local delicious restaurants all within walking distance. I would highly recommend this park for short stays or long term.
Melissa H — Google review
Not a place to stay with your campervan for a romantic night or you looking for a beautiful sunset or sunrise. It’s convenient as close to the interstates in Tucson and it is gated and has shopping and fast food places close by. Booking that place was easy too. Book online, pay and you’ll receive all info via text. Easy to handle. Actually not loud at night even it’s close to a road.
Alex T — Google review
Small park with nice sites and lots of services including a small pool and club house with pool table, TV, and games. Never saw any people in the office but questions were quickly answered by phone. Great location less than 2 miles from downtown and a mile from I-10. Some traffic noise from Grande but not bad. Only negative was lousy wifi service that could not support streaming.
Loren N — Google review
Was a nice fairly small RV park in the middle of the city. We only stayed 1 night but it was surprisingly less loud than expected. The pool was nice after arriving though a lot of ants near the pool. This place is pretty much a parking lot with a few plants and a pool and bathrooms /laundry and electricity. Could use some updates but over all the people staying were all nice and they were great with a last minute reservation at a reasonable price.
Rose G — Google review
We stayed here after having vehicle issues, and the camp host was just the kindest, most helpful person to work with. The actual park is small, but it was absolutely perfect for my family! I have two kids under 5, and they just LOVED the pool. It was absolutely perfect for us. The kids also loved the clubhouse, and the facility was so clean and well-kept. It was also very quiet, and I appreciated the fact that it was all gated in and fenced in. I would highly recommend this place to anyone needing to stay in an RV park in Tucson, and we will be back when we take our travel trailer down there again!
Megan C — Google review
We book this campground under the impression that there would be showers. The web site lacks information about amenities. We have used many campgrounds during our two month trip and never encountered a campground without showers. When we arrived, the pool was not even cleaned, and the campground is small and not inviting at all, surrounded by fences and noise from the street in an area which is not recommended for tourists. I had prepaid the two nights of my planned stay. However, as we saw the place, we decided to go elsewhere where we had a nice campsite with all facilities for almost half the price few miles away. After negotiation, Sentinel finally accepted to reimburse me 50% of the total cost, meaning one night out of two. I definitely do not recommend this campground. First bad experience ever.
Suzanne A — Google review
Booked this park after seeing how close it was to downtown Tucson. I knew what to expect as I pulled it up on Google earth and looked at the satellite view. Park is small but clean, comfortable and the staff is very friendly. There's no shower facilities but the clubhouse is large and has restrooms to use. You're also not paying an arm and a leg for a spot to park and sleep. Only negative is there's no area in the park for dogs but we made it work. We will definitely stay here again.. And, NO, I'm not part of the staff... Many thanks to Karen and Michelle!!!

RV park
Nestled in the stunning backdrop of the Tucson Mountains, Rincon Country West RV Resort is a vibrant haven for those aged 55 and over. This award-winning park boasts an array of amenities designed to keep seniors active and engaged, including a refreshing pool, sports courts, a gym, and even craft rooms for creative pursuits. With more than 55 RV sites available, it fosters a sense of community among like-minded travelers who share a passion for adventure on wheels.
I’ve liked it here so much that after two winter months that I bought a park model. For me, the attraction is the weather, proximity to The Loop bike paths and some very adequately equipped fitness centers. As someone just over 55, I don’t vibe with most of the activities but that’s okay. I highly suggest avoiding spots 103-106, as there is a very loud mobile home just over the wall. It has greatly impacted my ability to enjoy my patio outside. The dude literally has his huge TV and sound system in a shed outside.

Expensive. Bad area of town. Lots of gunfire with bullets coming through roofs. RV spaces very tight without parking assistance. Traffic noise and it’s right in the flight path so constant plane noise. Laundry app works intermittently and the change machines permanently out of order so use of quarters is difficult as you can only get them from the office and there’s often long lines to get help. The upside: lots of activities and mostly friendly folks. There are rental bikes and golf carts with the Huckleberry Trail just outside the back gate. Multiple dog parks.
Cindy S — Google review
This was our second visit. Really enjoyed our stay. Great location. Desert so mostly gravel. Good sized dog park but also a lot of places to walk a dog - just make sure your dog will go in gravel. Residents in the area all very nice. It is in the flight path of the airport and fighter jets practice overhead but I loved that. Did not use their facilities but they looked nice. Even had a dog bath station.
Wendy C — Google review
Very nice park. Good for walking. Access to a nice trail system. Lots of amenities and activities. Our site was rather tight on the left. We were right up against someone's patio. Our active side was very spacious. Cable TV did not work at our site. Wifi was Tengo and limited to 2 devices. I'm not sure why they put us where they did. We were assigned to the pet section even though we don't have a pet. Neighbors kitty-corner were doing a full-scale renovation so there was constant drilling, sawing, hammering, etc. Additionally, they had a yappy dog that they would leave out on the porch. It would bark at everyone that went by and then the people would come out and yell at it to be quiet. I'm not sure which was more annoying - the barking or the yelling at the dog. Irresponsible as a pet owner and inconsiderate as a neighbor.

I love Rincon West! It’s so sad when I see one person leave a negative comment about “ A crappy little site,” In the videos section. We’ve stayed here several times, often for months because we enjoy it so much. It’s actually, quite beautiful in the entire park. True there isn’t grass or full grown trees on every site, but there’s a beautiful palm tree in every site. There is everything under the sun anyone could think to do, and within a half a mile there’s a massive Outsidemall and excellent fast and dining foods Literally around the corner. I could walk my dog there! Nights are quiet and enjoyable. You do get used to the Jets flying over which is usually just occasionally unless they’re having a show. We couldn’t wait to get back to Rincon after staying at other RV parks that were in the areas that we needed to go to. They do it right here, and they will treat you right here. Plenty of wonderful things for your dog to do and biking trails as well. The amenities just go on and on. And the folks are just plain friendly! You’re lucky if you’ll find a spot in the winter months!thank you Rincon!
Susan S — Google review
We booked here for a month left early because: - laundry consisted of broken machines that had signs saying they'd be repaired soon but never were - coin machine in laundry was not operable but the online app was also inoperable and the front office could care less. We opened up a case with tech support for the app and it functioned for 4 hours but never again. Asking to exchange dollars for quarters at the front office is like Oliver Twist asking for more. BUT if you have ever wondered what happened to Nurse Rachet-put your mind to rest she is alive and well at the Rincon front office. - internet was non-existent yet they happily charge you for it (fight it they eventually cave)-just greedy - events are advertised but are always full and staff seems to take a lot of joy in denying you admittance. We found if you are willing to drive to the event its cheaper than paying rincon. I can't even describe the debacle of the pancake breakfast and the two meanies taking money and doling out sausages. The mean-spiritedness and rudeness was so unnecessary. - somebody acquired a sign maker at some point and there are more signs about Dont Do This Don't Do That than you have ever seen and that attitude carries over to the staff who are a bunch of sour pickles in my opinion. If we had been issued orange jumpsuits on arrival we would have had a better understanding of the situation. - very tight spots - moving in or out usually requires moving your neighbors cars - unfriendly staff-just mean old people everywhere - right under a flight path for both the airport and the airbase so if war breaks out you'll be the first to know or maybe a bomb will drop and put this place out of its misery. The aircraft noise means you cant hear conversations music TV its like being a monk who took a vow of silence in a very noisy monastery There's much more but I think it suffices to say STAY ANY WHERE ELSE you will happy and will enjoy Tucson.
Kathleen K — Google review
I went there to see the garden model railway and it was fantastic. That's not the main reason the RV resort is there but the retirees who run that garden right away and have done a great job and the kids can spend the 45 minutes just trying to notice so it's there. They have a fun little card where you try to find all the interesting items such as the tiger cub etc. Not just the kids but grown ups like to do that too.
John S — Google review
We really really enjoyed our stay here with our RV. Very helpful accommodating staff. Very friendly environment with the residents. Lots of social activities and things to do here. And right next to the paved bike trail network that goes around the city.

Nestled in the heart of Tucson, the Lazydays KOA Resort is a delightful retreat that spans over two acres, offering guests ample privacy and tranquility. With 30 covered RV spots, visitors can enjoy their own little oasis surrounded by lush fruit trees—feel free to pick some fresh lemons or grapefruits during your stay! This family-friendly campground features both grassy premium and pull-through sites, with select locations boasting cozy patios and fireplaces for those perfect evenings under the stars.
One of the best KOAs! We have been to 44/50 states so far and this is still one of our favorite to stay at that we have been here 7 times! Very family friendly and they often have lots of activities for the kids to do along with 2 very nice pools. Definitely recommend!
Maegan D — Google review
Good: there are a lot of resort amenities. Paved roads. Friendly and helpful staff. Not so good. Upon arrival we picked up a grocery bag full of trash from our site. The patio furniture was filthy. We had to wash it before use. The dog pen and K-nine pens could use a cutting. The resort is located near some very busy roads- lots of traffic noise.
Lynn H — Google review
The staff is hardworking and polite. They keep all the common areas clean. They pick up your trash daily for you, they keep the entire area well maintained and since I was there during July and it was very hot during the day, yet they were out there with smiles on their faces. The manager is wonderful and settled a minor issue we had during our time there. And I would recommend going there, even for a staycation. Because it's a pretty cool place with great staff
Laurel M — Google review
We've been to a number of K.O.A. resort and this is one of the nicer ones. Well, organized well stocked and well staffed. Pull through sites were very nicely arranged. Absolutely. Everything was clean and neat will certainly be going back again.
Javier H — Google review
The best KOA I have ever been to. EVER! Super fast WIFI (40 Mb/s down and 30 Mb/s up), pools (2), hot tub, pond, RC track, dog parks (4), dog wash (2), Laundry rooms (2), bike and golf cart rental, kids rides, putting greens, large bathrooms with large showers, etc. (the list goes on and on). Restaurant on premises. Nice mix of back-in, pull thru, and covered RV parking, cabins too. Regular activities communicated via text message. Staff was friendly and accommodating. Afterhours check-in at guard shack. You have to visit this KOA, then the bar will be set (very high) for all future RV parks you visit. It is one KOA visit you will remember forever.
M K — Google review
This huge (400 site) KOA sits near a number of large RV dealers and is home for many "snow birds" when the winter comes. When we arrived for our nearly week-long visit to see Saguaro NP and other sights in the area, temps were in or near 100 degrees and occupancy was about 25% of full. Nice paved roads, gravel sites (not level), easy connections, nice patio with good outdoor furniture. There are many amenities for campers, and we took advantage of some of them: plenty of parking near the laundry, pool, registration, and on site restaurant (which served pretty good food). Wifi was good for streaming. Got our MH cleaned by the onsite service at a fair price. Overall, a very nice, well-maintained KOA.
Philip M — Google review
The nicest park we have stayed in so far. The pool and hot tub are perfect. Grounds are well maintained. Landscaping is beautiful. Fruit and olive trees. Staff is extremely nice and helpful and even the restaurant was great , we had a steak.

A full service RV Park. Cabins are beautifully designed and decorated. Covered RV parking and 2 swimming pools!Pickle ball courts. A great place for Texas style BBQ with restaurant on location.Very strong WiFi system. So much to list!

Park
Recreation center
Nestled in the heart of Southern Arizona, Voyager RV Resort and Hotel is more than just a typical RV park; it’s a vibrant community that feels like home. With an array of amenities including two inviting pools, a hot tub, and even a 9-hole golf course, guests can indulge in relaxation or stay active. The resort caters to various interests with facilities for woodworking, sewing, and quilting enthusiasts. For those traveling with pets, there are dedicated areas for exercise and play.
We’ve stayed at RV parks and campgrounds in 30+ states. Voyager is in a class of its own. The amenities are 5 star and are reason enough to keep coming back. You name it, they’ve got it, including a great little golf course ($10 to play!) and brand new pickleball courts. The staff is so helpful and friendly. They literally welcome you home every time you arrive. You can tell the management team really cares and is working hard to make sure their guests have the best possible experience. I’d give it 10 stars if I could.
Kelly F — Google review
Don't move here if you have a dog. They claim to be "dog friendly" but they do everything they can to deter you from having a dog at the park. Tried to move in permanently with our dog and requested a fenced in area to keep our dog safe and so that we can sit outside with him. We requested a fenced in area - like several other sites have, and were declined. Apparently the rules only apply to some of their residents, but not all. It took the maintenance person 13 days to go look at the site to determine if we can have a fenced area for our dog and they declined us. Voyager is not "dog friendly" - go elsewhere - there are lots of parks that allow dogs and fenced in areas to keep your dog safe such as the one we presently live in. The staff takes forever to get back to you with questions and really have no idea what they are doing. Very unprofessional when you walk in to the reception area. No one smiles and are not customer service savvy at all.
D R — Google review
We had a premium back in spot for our toyhauler which was great as we could put our deck down for morning coffee. The amenities are 5 star with 3 pools, two wirlpools, 2 saunas, and several tennis and pickle ball courts. I enjoyed the lap pool which is 25 yards and the fitness center is really well equipped. The hotel grounds are well kept and have wonderful S.W. landscaping. The only reason I gave only four stars is because the one open dog park was a fenced dirt run at the bottom of a wash. Getting to it from either end one walks through dirt and weeds, though we did discover a concrete access between two park models. Seems like the many dogs that are residents here aren't given much priority. We would stay here again if it wasn't so noisy from airbase air traffic and highway traffic.
Susan W — Google review
We stayed here just 4 nights. We were in town for a funeral. The price was really high. But the service was really good. Thank you Voyager during our time of mourning.
Rebecca W — Google review
Voyager is a very large RV park, most of it is park models, and then there’s camping sections. It’s not too busy here and I’m not sure why they put all of us so close together. The sites are staggered and there’s four of us right next to each other when across the street it’s empty. Otherwise this is a very nice resort with a lot of amenities.
Micki C — Google review
If you gone book a hotell rom, don't let the expensive price or 8.6 in rating at hotel.com trick you. This is not a lovely resort hotell, but a motel in a trailer park. No reception or service personel, just a gard by the gate that give the key card to the room. Had a little issue with my allergies and that we got a room were it has stayd a lot of dogs, but no-one cod help me, as it was no people on site or no-one to call. Nice and clean room, but we had paid for a mini suite, but got a ordinary room. But as I said, it was no-one to talk to as the reception closes at 4pm. It was a resort with a pool, but not so nice as on the pictures and we were lucky it was not high season as if so it would have been very crowded in there as it was many hundred of trailer home and just some smal pools. The only respons we got the day after, was we are sorry for you cold not sleep because of allergies. Definitely not comming back to that pleace, without a RV home ;)

I'm in the rv park. A lot of amenities, but no shade. Not so important now in October, but would be a big deal in summer.
Richard B — Google review
This place is ok I will address a major issue here and it is the dog thing mentioned by many people. The management does not care either way about ALOT of things other than getting your money . This place originally had NO DOG AREAS . People purchased park models in these areas because they did not want dogs. Management changed this for $ and now allow dogs every where and tell you it is fine you can take your dog anywhere they are welcome. The problem is the people that live there DO NOT WANT YOUR DOG PEEING on there tree (actually the parks tree as theses people do not own the tree or land) and can become quite agitated and rude. So the person that has the dog has NO IDEA all this friction exists and can ruin your day. I stayed here 2 months and was exposed to all this drama. Place has other problems like water ,internet and other mild annoyances.

Nestled in the serene desert landscape, Cactus Country RV Resort is a delightful haven for those aged 55 and older, offering a peaceful retreat just east of Tucson. This charming campground features a variety of accommodations including tent sites, pull-through spots, and park model rentals with full hookups. Guests can enjoy well-maintained facilities such as clean bathrooms with private shower stalls and an inviting outdoor pool and hot tub perfect for relaxation.
We reserved a spot at this campground as part of our Southwest tour of America. We ended up and didn’t stay there, mainly due to the pool being renovated. We were very grateful that the staff contacted us ahead of time and gave us a couple days notice that the pool would be closed. Part of the reason we originally chose this campground was because of the pool and wanting our kids to have a place to relax. We told them we would give them a great review because of their communication with us about the pool closure. We also had a piece of personal mail sent to this campground before we knew we wouldn’t be staying there. They were very helpful in making sure that it was available for us to pick up or to be forwarded on. We hope to stay there on the future.

I've visited Cactus Country RV Park a few times. I was recently helping a friend out while she was out of town and needed to water her plants. I stopped by two days in a row, parked briefly in a spot I was told was an emergency vehicle path. The first day, a staff member told me it was fine as long as I was there less than five minutes — and I was. The second day, I came back at the same time, planning to do the exact same thing. This time, a woman named Elaine, who claimed to be the park manager, approached my little sister before I even got there and was already being rude. When I walked up, I told her I’d be less than five minutes again, and she said “okay, but you need to move it.” I was wrapping up quickly, but just a couple minutes later, she returned and got confrontational for no reason. My sister and I both tried — very calmly and respectfully — to explain what had happened the day before, and what the other staff member had told us. We were being extremely polite, patient, and understanding, but Elaine refused to listen, waved her hands in our faces, and kept demanding we move the car — even though we already were. Despite us staying calm and kind the entire time, she continued to be unnecessarily rude and dismissive. I calmly told her multiple times that she could’ve handled the situation more respectfully, but she ignored me and just drove off. Honestly, Elaine’s attitude and total lack of basic courtesy were enough to make up my mind. I won’t be returning, and I wouldn't recommend Cactus Country RV Park to anyone who expects to be treated with decency — even for a quick visit. If this is how the park is managed, I’m not sure how anyone enjoys staying there long term. Elaine seriously needs to work on how she communicates with people — especially those who are being nothing but respectful.

Travel nurses, listen up!! This is a great location, with restaurants, grocery stores, WALMART, and other retail stores nearby. The location is safe, clean, and quiet. I resided here for about 6 months. I had no issues and will return to this location if I have another assignment in Tucson.

Stayed on the last row to the right from the entrance. Beautiful views, quiet and easy to get in and out of our spot. Great for pets too. We also had an awesome shade tree . Highly recommend this park.

We stayed one night in a pull through on the back row. It was super easy accessing the site. The park is set back from I-10, very quiet, clean and wide open. We called last minute needing a spot for the night. They have a great plan for after hour registration. The owner is very helpful. We would go back and could see staying longer.

Park isn't bad. People there are generally cool. Manager treats people like trash. Customer experience with Manager is a 0 out of 10 she treats long stay people like her employees and if I were an employee for this place I would quit if she treats her people like she treats me.

One of the nicest, if not the nicest, campgrounds we’ve stayed at. Great facilities, great showers, great laundry, great location. Staff if friendly and the checking process was super easy.

We've been coming here for about 18 years now, first with a travel trailer and then purchasing a park model. It's our winter home now, and we love the place and the people. It's nice it's not metropolitan, as we aren't really city people. The manager and office staff are great. Come try it out! You'll come back!! Guaranteed.

I was there in a motorhome Great park. Donna was most helpful. Sites are level and large with a concrete pad. Pool and spa aka hot tub were clean. Big dog walk. Price with Passport America cannot be beat.

Only stayed one nite. Office staff Donna and manager were really helpful and so friendly. A pleasure. Costs $25 if you check in before 2:30. That was a surprise. Daily cost is expensive but they take Good Sam. Didn't use the pool, showers, or amenities but all looked nice.

With its stunning mountain views and a welcoming atmosphere, this smaller resort features 460 spacious sites that foster a sense of community among returning guests. Visitors rave about the friendly vibe, making it easy to forge lasting friendships during their stay. The amenities at Rincon Country East are truly impressive!
Beautiful, friendly, secure, peaceful. We stayed here about a week using it as a base camp for our day trips. Service was top notch. Only drawback was the placement of a palm tree in the center of each lot which made it difficult to back in a camper trailer.

DO NOT CONSIDER BUYING HERE! They say that the resort fees go up every year. Supposedly based on inflation yet one must ask, "Does your income go up every year?" NOT usually. This economy bucks an is going to be truly strapping alot of people with the way everything goes up. Too the homes in here are WAY to close together. A Person should consider this after watching the California wildfires!! 👀😢💯

My parents live here. It's not a place for tourist's, it's an actual gated community. Front and only entrance/exit has a guard posted 24/7. All guests must sign in and guard must be notified by whomever the guest is visiting ahead of time. So that's awesome. It's quiet, great people live here, its just really nice. There's an awesome community center and they have classes or clubs, a library, billiards, a gym, 2 pools, pickle ball, horseshoes and tons of other activities. On-site community laundry room. They have a newsletter/magazine even. Staff is great, very attentive. The place is immaculate, grounds are well manicured & clean 100% of the time. My parents love it here, they've never even hinted about having any issues. I'm assuming it's great for snow birds and that's why it's labeled as a resort style deal. But it is an actual gated neighborhood. Just fyi🙃

Can’t begin to thank Rachel & the staff at this resort. After some miscommunication about location ( East vs West) Rachel was able to handle both the Cancel and booking with a smile, couldn’t be more impressed. Location is nice, tucked away along a wash with access to biking paths and hiking within short drive, plenty of shopping and such conveniently located close by. Resort is on smallish side with nice lots it’s mix of RV & Park model. All the amenities at the park are clean and well maintained, pool area is nice and we did get a couple pool days in during week stay. Crowd is friendly, lots of activities and people doing them, we will be staying a moth next year and may get involved. We almost feel we may have been guided back to Rincon after a $#*§€£} experience at at another ( I won’t mention the place but you can check our reviews, it sticks out, this is the ANTI that place😂😂) we spent time at the West location in 2017. Friendly resort, friendly staff, great location in a area we love…We will circle back next year but it’s looking like home.

Very nice Rv resort, but most of the park is filled with park models. We were parked between park models and the spot was very close between homes. Only certain areas to walk the dogs and only one nice dog park. There could be more of those. Nice fitness room and friendly staff. Most people were nice, but many wouldn’t even say hi when walking by. The location was away from heavy traffic and the Mountain Views were beautiful!

Nestled in the scenic surroundings of Tucson, South Forty RV Ranch/Park is an adults-only haven that warmly welcomes pets. This well-maintained park features a clubhouse complete with a gym, as well as a heated pool and spa for relaxation. Dog owners will appreciate the two distinct dog runs designed to cater to both social butterflies and more reserved pups. For those looking for adventure, the park's proximity to golf courses and casinos offers plenty of entertainment options.
We needed a quick overnight stay to fill and dump our RV and wash some clothes. South 40 fit the bill on all fronts. We were super surprised with how clean and quiet the park was. Would definitely stay again. Gate closes at night but you can get in and out. Thanks for such a great place.

Nice park. My wife and I stayed here on an annual. Quite area and pretty clean. The lot sizes are small and tight. We are in a forty foot camper pulled by an F250. Although it was tricky, we were able to manage. This resort is very convenient to local shopping and tourist stuff. We do not recommend staying here June through September because of the Tucson heat. Definitely not the parks fault. Swimming pool and hot tub are nice and clean. Club house is good. I would definitely recommend this park to friends and family.

My sister has been shopping for a seasonal Park Model in Pima County. I have been looking for a long term space to anchor my C-Class RV. We decided to give South Forty a test ride with a one month stay. The front desk staff are very friendly but, not properly trained. The husband/wife management team are not on property at all times but travel to other parks, by direction, which are held by the same owner (who is focused on expanding and growing with the intent and purpose of aquiring additional properties). Upon arrival, I refused to pay a significantly higher rate than quoted (rates increased) when I made the deposit payment. It took more than a week (due to availability of management) to resolve the issue. The resolution was me moving and they keeping my deposit. This is not a sustainable business model! And, most significantly, the current resident attempting to sell their home lost my Sister as buyer. Seems a bit predatory, to me, when I reference AZ Statutes (verbal rental agreements are valid and enforceable) and they responded with aggressive interrupting and raising their voices. How can anyone get any issues resolved when met with raw hostility? I wish the best of luck to ALL the unfortunate, current residents who are trying to sell and get out!

This Park should have 6 stars! Rich and Deb are FABULOUS. The park is very good security, extremely clean, extremely neat, laundry was great AND it is very pretty, staff second to none. Cannot say enough good about our experience. Can't wait to return to visit Family. We have a 42ft coach with a jeep behind, unhooked jeep on arrival as expected and had a GREAT time.

Clean, well maintained park. VERY secure! Definitely more of a full time living park. We arrived after hours and were greeted at the gate by the on call host to help us with a spot. Bathrooms and showers were clean, good temp and pressure and the shower stall was spacious. The Camp Host even invited us to stay another night to join their Christmas potluck. That was super sweet 🥰 Would recommend making a reservation and/or getting there before they close the office. Entrance is not well visible at night time.

Located on West Fort Lowell Road in Tucson, this pet-friendly RV resort also boasts a tranquil setting near a paved track suitable for jogging and bicycling.
I see why this place is popular!!! Most importantly the owners are the definition of southern hospitality. We called ahead and got greeted by name at the door and escorted to our spot. This place is CLEAN. The plants and decorations were top notch. There were a lot of snow birds that decorated their space more than anywhere I've ever seen. It was so refreshing. The pool is open - no worries about it being crowded its not. The water is ice cold but it was 100 degrees outside and it was just what we needed. The laundry facility had new looking washers and dryers - better than what most of us have at home. Sometimes a draft of curiously smelling stuff blows through but it's not gut wrenching or anything. You can see the stars at night even with the nearby light pollution. If you need a short stay or a long stay this is the spot!!

I have been here for 6 month so far. I feel so safe. The park is so well taken care of and management is so nice. Pool is very clean and the laundry room is so clean and the washers and dryers work. They also have a clothes line you can use. The rec room and the bathrooms are also clean and well taken care of. I highly recommend this park if traveling in tucson.

No-Frills small park located right off I-10 near the center of town. As soon as you figure out how to get to it due to construction, it's actually very easy and convenient to get to. Staff and long term residents are all very friendly and helpful. Laundry room and Bathrooms were spotless, showers nice and hot. There's a pool in the summer (not open yet so I can't comment on that as I don't know.) Very reasonably priced park. Located directly next to bike path for easy access to trails. If you don't mind the highway noise or the train (didn't bother me but I imagine it may bother some) I'd suggest giving them a try!

Really amazing park my wife and I stayed for a tad under 2 months. Very quite park with amazing staff, pool, & plenty of garbage space. Some spots are tad tight but we still fit our 39ft rig in perfectly while having even bigger sites available. The location is prime for seeing Tucson and the pricing is very very competitive. I would highly recommend this RV park for anyone looking for and overnight stay or a long term stay. Keeping doing what you are doing!

Very friendly staff. We arrived on a Sunday and were warmly greeted by Devan at the front desk. Trevor helped us pull into our site. They answered all our questions about the park and gem show. Facilities were sparking clean and grounds were well maintained. Card-reader laundry was a plus. We would recommend to friends.

We spent 30 days here this winter. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Sites are big enough. All gravel. The neighborhood is industrial. Very reasonable rates.. Easy access to freeway and Tuscon tourism sites. It made a good home base. Right next to the bike trails on the river. Tuscon is not a pretty city but has lots to see and do.

Wonderful managers with good advice. Very clean laundromat, and beautiful view of the mountains and sunset! We drive a 32-ft sunseeker, and pull a small Jeep and had plenty of room. Will be sure to come back.

This little RV Park is very welcoming. They do not try to micromanage their guests. They have a pool laundry service and showers that are all reasonably clean. Dogs are welcome. And the price is definitely right. We were having a little difficulty getting our trailer pulled in but the husband and wife team here were very accommodating and good at giving directions. They have office hours 7 days a week, live on site, and aren't afraid to tell you where to find them for after-hours problems.

Following significant renovations in 2015 and 2016, Crazy Horse now boasts modern shower facilities and covered parking options.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Crazy Horse RV Campground! We typically stay in one place for 3-4 days, but we ended up extending our stay a few times and spent 2 weeks here. Amy & Marci were so helpful in arranging our stay... Thank you! Everyone was super friendly ... staff & residents. There was free daily coffee, free donuts on Mondays & Fridays, and other meals available for a reasonable price a few days out of the week. They also have a lot of other activities like Bingo, Game Night, Billiards, etc. The showers were always clean and the water pressure is amazing! Laundry is also available, which is reasonably priced and super clean! We would highly recommend staying here!

We stayed for two nights. Site was covered with gravel. Close to level. It had a picnic table. The staff is very friendly and professional. Lots of activities happening. Free, fresh donuts and coffee certain days of the week. The price was fair (around $45 a night). The bath house was a bit dated, yet clean. Great water pressure for showers! There is a laundry room, and while we did not use it, I am aware they will exchange bills for quarters in the office. Easy on and off I-10. There is a Dollar General within walking distance. Lots of stores and restaurants a short drive away. Davis-Monthan AFB is close by, as well as the Pima Air Museum...definitely worth checking out. Would stay here again if in the area.

This is such a nice RV park! It's close to the freeway but not so close as to be a noise problem. It is within walking distance to a Circle K, a Dollar Store, a city park and the Tucson Loop walking and biking tail. The park is well cared for and the hosts are friendly. The meals that are offered are exceptional! They're an affordable treat and a great asset to the park. I will definitely stay (and eat) here again!

After living in different RV parks around Tucson, I finally found my permanent spot! As a working Snowbird, it's very important to have a safe, secure, and convenient place to live for 7 months. Price is affordable and fair considering what RV parks in the area charge. Office is very friendly and helpful. It's nice having office folks in golf carts crusing the lot, maintaining and keeping it clean. Great place for a long stay or quick layover. Wanting to give an honest review, spots can be tight but not unmanageable. I'll be back in October when the mercury comes down again.
Nick L — Google review
Stayed for a little over a month. We enjoyed all the activities and community meals they offered. Office staff is friendly. The park is conveniently located near the dollar store, gas station, and the loop walking/biking trail though it is also near the air force base. Because of this, we did often have the loud jets flying over on nice days. The sites are a little tight but overall well maintained. The amenities were kept clean as well. We would definitely stay here again.
Rachel R — Google review
I stayed in the solar panel covered spot for over a year. It's 805 per month plus electric. When it's said and done it's well over $1000 to stay here I think that a lot of money to live in an rv but the lady at the front desk doesn't think so. This gives you a very narrow spot, all gravel, surrounded on desert on three sides so it's VERY dusty. No AC in the laundry so in the summer it's unbearable to do laundry and $2.00 for wash and $2.00 to dry in the regular size machines. No dog park. There is a pool but it's small. You can get your mail, they will complain at the office if it weighs too much though. And, the moment I was thinking of moving somewhere else they filled my spot, didn't give me any time to make sure my other accommodations were going to be ok. Thank God they were.

Getting approved was a hassle at first but once everything was approved the office staff was helpful I had the pleasure of meeting Chris. He is a very pleasant person easy to talk to and he takes his time answering my questions. It was a great experience finally being able to call someplace home

We stayed here for 1 night as we were on a road trip. The park was nice and clean from what we saw. I know some of the reviews show other things, but we didn't experience the bathrooms, as we had a self contained RV, but for the price it was a great place to stay for a night. The staff we did have contact with, were pleasant and kind (I would have asked for names, but I sometimes feel that is weird). If you are in the are and looking for a place to stop, this seems like a nice place in the Tucson area. It is on a busy street, but we usually run our fan and a sound machine at night, so it didn't bother us at all.
Andie G — Google review
I stayed here from oct thru February, they shut the laundry and bathroom facilities down for weeks, stating cleaning and upgrading but nothing looks different and it stays dirty. Laundry is now shut down indefinitely, there is a gas station across the street which is convenient. Water gets shut down regularly. Most of the tenants are nice and look out for each other. They don’t clean the premises up very often but It’s a cheap place also it can get loud with traffic and wondering people. But all in all I stayed safe n learned alot at my first rv spot.
Joanie K — Google review
Hot spot for the homeless and probably drug addicts. Didn't feel very comfortable here. Nothing was taken from the bed of my truck. I just didn't like being uneasy there. A few long term residents were nice. The grounds could've been better kept. Use caution when connecting to water. The connections aren't very sturdy. The facilities there I didn't use, so I can't say anything about that. Many places were located pretty close. Banks, grocery stores, shopping, downtown. You name it and it's probably within 8 miles. Lots and roads are pretty tight, especially if you have a lwb truck and a 30' travel trailer. Personally, I don't think I will return. Just not my style of an RV park.
Charles O — Google review
It’s a homeless/drug addict camp. Not even sure why this is being advertised as an RV park. I’ve lived a couple houses down the street for almost 3 years now and it’s a cesspool every time I drive by. Huge crowds of drug addicts inside and outside this place. They leave their shopping carts all over our neighborhood and steal our mail and break into our vehicles. And I see them going in and out of this place. I’ll be happy when this place gets demolished and built over. It would make this neighborhood way way better.
Brien M — Google review
Been here for over 2 years had an incident with a lady harassing my dogs and then complaining that they were barking. So i moved across the park and had great neighbors. But the lady that harassed my dogs complained about every trailer around her and was recently caught throwing a rock at another person's dog. Since Mar took over the price has gone up and less seemed to be done around the park. No longer wifi included bathrooms always closed due to vandalism by homeless and druggies i have run of multiple times. This month after being in the park for over 2 years and always paying my rent and minding my own business in a corner lot. But after 2 weeks of trying to get through to the office to pay for a spot never talking to the same person twice and nobody seeming to know what is going on i finally got a response asking to fill out an application even though i have been there for over 2 years. The application seemed ridiculous and most people in the park would probably not be able to pass. Even with a co-signer i was told that my reservation is terminated due to my criminal record that has nothing but minor misdomeniors for traffic things, pot charges and d.u.i. from 15 or so years ago and i need to be out on the 3rd so i now have to find a new location for my dogs an I in about 10 days when like i mentioned i always payed my rent even as it went up multiple times over the last 2 years and the park is looking more and more empty every day over the last week or so. On top of that before they had me fill out an application they reason of my record being why my rental of a spot being terminated , they already knew about because a few months ago they were looking for someone onsite to do maintenance and at the time it first seemed like i might get the job and then they just said they couldnt get ahold of me when i had no mossed calls or emails, i repeatedly left messages daily because of that bit they just stopped ansering or getting back to me and it had to be because the background check. So basically they wanted me to pay 50 bucks plus 50 bucks for a cosigner , for an application fee that they intentionally sent lnowing i wouldnt be approved... That wasjust the most recent of shady practices I witnessed and experienced in my time dealing with Mar Communities, so i recomend avoiany to buissness with this company . Also the park is Infested with roaches , nearly every trailer i knew of had issues with them, I even heard of a few cases of bed bugs which i am greatful that I did not have any issues with, but the roaches would come up drains and cause the ground all around the park to apear to be moving at night. Gun shots are also a common occurance and I had a propane tank stolen off a grill. So if you can find someplace else to stay that may be a wiser choice.

On the plus side, it's right off a fairly Main Street and our space was pretty easy to locate. The spaces are a little tight particularly front to back. Everything was there as promised, full hookups. We're able to get into the bathrooms fine, but the laundromat code never worked. There is a nice lounge area, but it's open at erratic times. A number of the people I met were pretty cool - there's a mix of short timers like us and people who have been there for several years. It wasn't great, but it certainly wasn't bad. It was simply put - good enough.

Very inexpensive. Stayed in Spring '23 for several weeks. Staff are nice but rarely onsite. I was woken by gunfire several times. Clubhouse was closed the whole time, with no sign saying so and no reason given when I asked. Bathrooms were closed indefinitely "due to trespassing and vandalism," per a text message from management.

Casino Del Sol RV Park is a new RV park in Tucson with full hookups. It has a hot tub area, showers, laundry room, and a covered picnic area with multiple picnic tables.
Rv park is nice, spaces are spread out nicely but asphalt is narrow. Park is close to the casino and has a nice dog park. The restrooms are clean and nice. They have a real nice hot tub. Close to shopping and food and other attractions. Old Tucson, zoo, mt lemon, hiking , biking ec. The only thing would make it better is a pool for the kids and afternoon noon lounging before hitting the casino. Pool would be a great addition and there is plenty of room for one over near the dog park.

It's nice, close to the golf course and the casino. But, there are no trees. Also, it's super hot in the Summer. So, plan late October- early May. Beautiful view of the desert and black mountain. Close to fun things not in town. Casino is my favorite because they don't give my dog a hard time. That's really important. They have concerts bingo and slots. Or sit at the table and play away. So many games. So many super awesome Natives. ❤️

Great location for an Rv park. Close to everything. Easy access and nice size spaces. Full hook ups and 50 amps. Nice restrooms and hot tub. The only thing it’s missing is a swimming pool, be a great park if it had a pool. Plenty of room for one . Close to the casino so you don’t have to drive if you drink. Also close to desert diamond casino, the desert museum and other attractions, food and shopping near by as well.

We stayed here for 3 months and loved every moment of it. It was very warm during winter and I loved it. Across the street is the casino, which has multiple restaurants. We enjoyed the donut shop and the buffet. We will be back. We met many great staff at the casino and travelers during our time. My only suggestions would be to install mailboxes to alleviate the gas stations staffs' very busy workload. Also, the front gate is a nightmare to get instacart and doordash orders. I wish they would have it open during the daytime and closed at night.

The park itself is beautifully maintained, with meticulously landscaped grounds, clean facilities, and a welcoming atmosphere. The sites are spacious and well-equipped, offering full hookups, including reliable water, electric, and sewer. We appreciated the level concrete pads and the ample space between sites, which provided a sense of privacy and comfort. The park also offers a variety of amenities that truly enhance the experience. The sparkling clean pool and hot tub were a welcome respite after a day of exploring. The laundry facilities were conveniently located and well-maintained. And the free Wi-Fi throughout the park was a huge plus, allowing us to stay connected with ease. One of the biggest draws of this RV park is its proximity to the Casino Del Sol. Being able to easily walk over to the casino for dining, entertainment, and gaming was incredibly convenient. The variety of restaurants offered something for everyone, and the casino itself was a vibrant and exciting place to spend an evening. Even if gambling isn't your thing, the live entertainment and other amenities at the casino make it a valuable asset to the RV park. Beyond the casino, the location of the RV park is also excellent for exploring the surrounding area. It's conveniently located near Tucson and offers easy access to numerous attractions, including the Arizona-Sonora Desert Museum, Sabino Canyon, and the vibrant downtown area. What truly sets Casino Del Sol RV Park apart is the combination of its top-notch amenities, convenient location, and exceptional service. The staff goes above and beyond to ensure guests have a pleasant stay. Their friendly demeanor and willingness to assist with anything you need truly make you feel welcome. If you're looking for a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable RV experience in the Tucson area, I highly recommend Casino Del Sol RV Park. It’s a true desert oasis that offers something for everyone. We can’t wait to return!

Stayed at the RV park for Concert. Park is clean, well maintained. It is secure with key pads for guests. The cons of this park is no shuttle to casino or amphitheater. Very little shade, no internet, no cable. We paid $50 night. I feel it is overpriced for what they offer.
Susan M — Google review
Just plain old false advertising. “and access to all the excitement Casino Del Sol has to offer.” And by this they mean the restaurants and gambling, anything you can spend money on here they give you access. Pool! NO GYM NO The amenities they offer at the RV park are really a joke considering what you pay for. Laundry is ok, a postage stamp Hot tub and count them….TWO whole showers. Crossing this place off our list, to many other places in Tucson. OH, get this, RV people have been complaining about the false advertisement about amenities for FIVE YEARS! They just don’t care. It’s not a secure space, two small drop down gates anyone could walk around. Just on big joke of a place.
Bucky W — Google review
Overall fairly clean but bathrooms and showers need considerable work. Wi-Fi is non existent but t mobile 5g works fairly well. As far as the landscape, it’s a moonscape with gravel and limited scrubs that are about the same size as a dinner plate. The convenience store attached had rather rude employees and was overpriced on everything.

We had people guide us to our spot to park and pretty much walk right in,I did have to open my purse so they could check it. We were over 55yr and got a discount to get in, we came about 5pm. Alot of food to choose from,I got thi chicken on Indian fry bread it was very tastie,I paid about $16 it was a whole paper plate size.when we went by the trees to sit at some tables there was a 1 man show he was so funny and he played alot of good music and had some cute costumes most of the audience stayed till the end. It was a fun night at the fair oh yeah we paid $8. For parking $8 to get in

Not our 1st year at the fair and won't be our last. LOVE it! We had so much fun. WARRANT and Clay Walker both put on awesome shows. Margaritas and corn dogs were so good. Worth every penny.

Easy parking arrangements and directions. It is a clean place, with many organized street-like small town stores, food establishments, and games for the youngsters.

Great venue for many events. The Tucson Reptile show was much smaller this year, but they keep the facilities clean and well organized.

Tumamoc Hill Hiking Trail is a serene path for walking and running, offering expansive views of an ecological reserve. The three-mile paved trail features moderate elevation gain and is adorned with wildflowers in the spring. Open from 4 am to 10 pm, it sits on University of Arizona property. Visitors are advised to park along Anklam Road rather than at nearby medical facilities.
Every time we visit Tucson, we make this part of our daily routine. Apparently so does 95% of Tucson lol! It's never not crowded, especially first thing in the morning. We thought we were early risers but nope, show up any time after 8 and you'll be parking a quarter mile or more down the road. It's crazy to me how popular this particular walk is, but I think it's pretty cool that so many people enjoy this as part of their routine. The trail is paved all the way, and you'll see quite a diverse slice of society, from the young to old, women and men pushing baby strollers, super serious athlete types, people struggling but pushing on, college kids, retirees...it's pretty cool. A lot of people seem to treat this as a challenge like they are trying to set a personal record each time. The whole vibe is really fun, and the view from the top is very nice too! The one thing of caution is I always see A LOT of broken car window glass on the road side, not sure if this happens at night or what, but secure all your valuables and don't leave anything visible in your car. The road also sucks (as do 99% of Tucson's roads) and like I said you'll be parking far far away from the actual TH most likely, so be aware of your surroundings. The trail is about 1.5 miles one way, and about 720' of climbing, so it's relatively steep, especially after the first quarter mile or so. My best time walking up is about 23 minutes and change, what's yours haha!???

Nice paved walking area....gets a little steep...bring a water bottle (there are fill up stations along the way)....great place to watch the sunset...beautiful views of Tucson!!!!....there is a portapotty half way up at the first look out point. Really enjoyed this place!!! A dust storm was happening when we went so that is why the photos are hazy looking

It can be hard on your Achilles’ tendon, but if you turn around and spend some time walking backwards on the white line going up you should avoid injury. If you push it and you are in good shape you can get to the top in half an hour. Bring water.

Holy cow this is a hard hike. It's short but steep. Incline was good for an intense workout. It's amazing how popular this is but I imagine it being so close to Tucson, it's easy to get to for a great workout. Don't forget your water, hat, and sunscreen.

Great hike for everyone to do, the path is paved, there is lots of parking in the surrounding area. Great views, lots of room for everyone on the trail, water filling stations! Loved this hike!!

This RV Park is a great place to stay if you're visiting the Pima County Fairgrounds. It has full hookup sites and stunning desert sunsets and mountain views. It's also pet-friendly, with two dog parks nearby.
We had such a good time there. They had some problems with Electric and water at times but cleared it up immediately. Nice simple sites. Little shade. Clean and good security. Easy to set sites. Flat, gravel, easy to reach outlets. Nice people working there.
NLD T — Google review
They only had 50 amp service available when we got to the RV campground at Pima County Fair Grounds, they did offer to sell us a 30 amp converter but we choose to dry camp for $30 in a dirt lot that was very dusty. The only saving grace is that on our evening walk around we got to enjoy a couple of beautiful owls.
Cecilia S — Google review
The park was easy to find. It is located south of Tucson just off of I 10. There is pavement all the way. Signage is adequate. Check in was efficient and friendly and we were escorted to our site.. The rules are fairly basic. The interior roads are graveled and in good condition Our site, 162, was a back in that was just long enough for our Coach with our towed beside. Services (30 amp, water and sewer only) were to the left side. Distancing is poor for a rural park. Had it been busy we would have been slide to awning and tail to tail. There was NO table or fire pit. Our site was flat and even. Overall the park was just a gravel parking lot but it fit our needs for an overnight space. There is NO park included wifi or cable TV. We did not find any OTA channels. Satellite would not be difficult. There are no restaurants or stores within easy walking distance but just a short drive away you can find food, shopping and convenience stores. We found this park to be an okay overnighter. We paid $40.50 per night and we feel we received fair value. We will be back if in the area again.

Good facilities, way too much dirt and dust I stayed here for the FMCA rally. There were over 1100 RVs so most parked outside of the full-hookup area. The facilities, restrooms, restaurants, meeting rooms were nice, clean and well maintained. There are two laundry rooms, each has 3 washers and dryers. Probably because it is a fairground there are dirt roads, dirt path and dirt fields. When the wind blows dirt and dust is everywhere. If you are adjacent to dirt road or field the activity will kick up enough dirt and dust that you and your RV will be dirty, inside and out. AT&T 5 bar 5G was great.

This year's Thurber Hall was a little skimpy in new or interesting things. They really didn't need two aggressive Verizon people, scooter vendors or the same imported stuff we see at the gem show. Pima & Pueblo Halls didn't disappoint. A shout out to Haury's locally made BBQ sauce for winning 1st & second place. BTW you can find this delicious BBQ sauce at Rustic Roots Farmers Market 9848 E Old Vail Rd in Tucson.

This is a nice place to stay especially if you find it difficult to get a reservation in southern AZ in the winter. They have daily and weekly rates and have Good Sam and Escapees discounts. We paid $30/ night for full hookups with our Escapees discount. The Fairgrounds does not take reservations, although there are events that may limit camping options. Call ahead to be sure they can accomodate you. There's not much atmosphere in the actual camping areas, which is mostly gravel, but there are some really nice areas with grass and trees spread throughtout the grounds. The fairgrounds are pretty extensive and there is a nice exercise trail, with signs identifying the local flora, that goes around part of the perimeter. They have also added a paved trail that parallels the entrance road. There are two laundry facilities with a total of five washers and eight driers. Each machine is $1.50, which is pretty reasonable for laundry. You just need to time your washing around others. There is a cantina, which is only open for special occasions, when they may also have additional food trucks. Don't expect these amenities all the time, but it's fun when a special event brings them in. In addition to having lots of walking space, there are bike trails easily accessible. The office has a map of them available. It's reasonably close to Saguaro National Park on the east side and shopping is close across the interstate. We've stayed here three times and would stay again.

We enjoyed our week stay at the fairgrounds. It has plenty of room for walking the dog. Nice large dog pens, for our dog to get off leash exercise. There was a concession stand open for a horse show, that the campers were able to go to. Nothing fancy in the parking areas, but it was a fun week.

We had a fantastic stay at Mission View RV Resort! The park is clean, comfortable, and packed with great amenities. The bathrooms, showers, and laundry rooms were spotless and super affordable ($1 to wash, 75¢ to dry). We loved relaxing in the jacuzzi, reading in the well-stocked library, and playing pool in the billiards room. There are tons of fun activities—we even caught a live concert! The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the entire community had such a welcoming vibe. Highly recommend!

Unfortunately, they do not give refunds once you have booked. Do not book here if you want a good nights sleep and some peaceful R & R. I am personally quite sensitive to loud noises and especially when I am sleeping. My husband is not that sensitive as he is a retired truck driver, but it was too noisy for him as well. There are various air craft that fly over at all hours of the day and night, including commercial, private and military. There was also a very high pitched squeal that we heard very close to our trailer every morning, which I did report to the management. I did enquire about the noise level, asking many questions before booking. It would have been nice to find out the true scenario before booking for a week.

They were on summer hours so when we needed to check on availability they were closed. The answering machine gave an emergency number which we called. We talked to the manager of the park and confirmed there was room available. He was so kind and accommodating even though it was after hours. We arrived and the manager and wife met us at the office. Again very nice and welcoming. The price was very good and he showed us where we were to park. The spaces were very large. We have a 5th wheel and the space was long enough for us to leave the pickup hooked up. I wish we would have had more days to spend there. It was close to the casino and a large shopping area. Would highly recommended!

Visited your friend who was parked here for a month for part of her spring vacation with her fifth wheeler. I used the shower facilities which were very clean. Good water pressure and the hot water came about pretty fast. I also use the laundry facilities which were just fine. Everything was very clean. The park is very well maintained. It is for 55 and older so it is a quiet place.

There are bbqs on Wednesday, darts on Wednesday nights, Thursday is a dinner iced social and bingo. There's a library, billiards, indoor swimming pool, and oversized hot tub. There is even water aerobics in the mornings. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises. So popular I suggest making reservations early.

El Rio Golf Course, previously known as Trini Alvarez El Rio Municipal Golf Course, is a public 18-hole course in Tucson, Arizona. Established in 1934 and designed by William P., it offers a challenging experience with long par 3's, small firm greens, and numerous bunkers. The recent improvements to the clubhouse and staff have elevated its status among municipal courses in Tucson.
It’s a beautiful golf course! I love the history behind it and that it’s originally for Mexicans❤️❤️❤️ It’s the oldest golf course in Tucson. Jason Figueroa is one of the golf pros there and he is amazing!
Carmen G — Google review
El Rio Golf Course is a great place to play a round with friends or family. The course is well taken care of and the greens are in good shape. It’s not too hard but still fun and challenging enough. I played here with my uncle and we both had a great time. The staff at the clubhouse was friendly and got us checked in quickly. They also have a driving range where I practiced before we started. The views of the mountains are awesome, especially in the afternoon. Prices are good too, especially for how nice the course is. I’ll definitely come back again. It’s one of the best golf spots in Tucson.
Christ T — Google review
This golf course has great service. The service staff alone makes up for the city course layout. I do have to say the layout is actually really good and it's a fun golf course to play. With wide fairways and shallow bunkers this is a great course.
Matt L — Google review
While some would disagree, I really like El Rio. It's a nice , simple muni course conveniently located to everything. It's fairly easy to get on and get around. The bunkers are challenging on some holes, and there are some long par 3s, but it's a nice experience over all. I play all the time after work and really enjoy it. Definitely worth checking out the next time you have an after-work round, or want to golf on short notice.
Joe R — Google review
A fun course and very forgiving for those of us that don't have our PGA Tour Card. Just 18 holes and located on Westside of Tucson near Silverbell and Speedway. City Public Course and played 18 holes with a cart for $23 (not bad for summer rates ). Being that we are in midsummer the course was a little dry, but the tee boxes and greens were nice. El Rio Golf Course is the place for a summer golf deal and good time! Recommend :)
Mark M — Google review
Pro shop is in a different place than the driving range; pro shop is in the restaurant. Otherwise, back 9 is pretty good; fast greens and a lot of bunkers!

I just live in the neighborhood. I’m glad that they use reclaimed water, but for God’s sake with the current drought it is honestly infuriating to walk by every day and see the sprinkler watering the dirt and sidewalks all around the course. Would much rather people play here than Omni where they’re just taking our drinking water, but considering that farmers and whole towns are being shut off we should all really be doing our absolute best right now.

Easy on off access from freeway. Clean park. Large sites. More residents than travelers. Most sites don't have tables outside, just the long term sites Biggest issue was the laundry. They lost power in the stand alone laundry building while I was doing laundry. Maintenance could not get it going. I had to then take our loads of clothes in varing degrees of wetness to a neighborhood laundry. This turned into a huge production. After talking with our neighbors, apparently the residents know not to use that stand alone site 🤷‍♀️ They were friendly and convenient.

Terrible experience. Zero security in the area, homeless people right by the entrance and we got our mountain bike stolen. Bolt cutters used and all on both locks. Better off staying in actual campgrounds. Safer. EDIT: Changing my review from 1 star to 5 stars specifically for the owner and how she handled our situation. We told her about the bike as we checked out and she called us back a little over an hour later because she thought she found the bike at the homeless campground across the way. She took pictures of the area where the bike was and called 911 on them, the employees scoped it out and were even willing to grab it for us. Unfortunately, it wasn't our bike. I'd rate this higher than 5 if able just on the pure hospitality and genuine care from these people. Thank you guys so much!!

I advise that you consider staying at one of the other local RV Parks. The owner / management of this park definitely engages in discrimination against religious services and / or Christians, although they claim in their literature that the clubhouse is available for full use to guests. Many other local RV Parks offer Sunday church services at their clubhouses. We were long term residents, and after six months we were advised that we could no longer conduct church services at the park, but other guests and volunteers could use the clubhouse for their Social activities. The owner outright advised me that they were going to be having too many functions in the recreation center (reason church services not being allowed), but that has not been the case. In fact, we watched their activities afterwards which were limited and with low participation. Long term residents and office staff gossip constantly, and there definitely is a social "click" group. The bathrooms (especially the ones located in the separate building) are disgusting. At one point, our family replaced the shower curtains due to the heavy build-up of mold. The floors and mats never seem to be clean properly (easy to get athletes foot). We even installed new shower heads (without asking for anything in return); just so guests could at least try to take a decent shower. The owner claims that improvements are going to be done, but projects don't get completed although rates increase yearly. The hot tub is never "hot," you will have a lukewarm soaking. Pool is alright; nothing to brag about. Expect to walk through a wall of smoke if entering the building through the pool area, as employees sit at the table, right next to the entrance, smoking. Some of the employees are very helpful; others will not do anything extra in order to assist a guest. No pets allowed in the pool area, but that does not seem to apply to certain groups of people. The owner seems to allow a few of the long term residents to do whatever they want. I guess that they are the RV Park police. We have stayed at numerous RV Parks, we are full time RVers, and this is by far the worse RV Park that we have stayed at. We paid upfront for a full year, but left after 9 months. This is the loudest place I have ever lived in my entire life. I thought when I moved here that it would be nice and quiet, since it is an over 55 park. I was wrong. Two of my neighbors have harley davidson motorcycles and one neighbor has a huge truck with no muffler. Last week I had no water for 3 days, no one told me my water was off or when it would be fixed. I called the office and left messages. I had a call back the first day saying the plumber was on their way. I called the next 2 days. No one called back. I called the owners office, whoever answered was extremely rude and offered no help. If you are looking for a quiet community to retire in, keep looking. It is a shame because the place looks nice and all the security guards at the gate are wonderful.

I do some smaller jobs for an elderly woman who lives here and I'm always impressed by how clean the entire park is. Residents are friendly and you can tell that they look out for one another. I wish my own neighborhood was more like this. I placed a 4 foot wide path of pavers from steps to the driveway. My dear friend is having to use a walker now and the rocks were proving too dangerous and difficult to navigate safely.

Loved the park! One gentleman selling his home was nice enough to let us inside to take a look. I'm hearing you have to have good credit, even if you're ready to pay in full? Is that so? We would also pay lot rent in advance. Park is the best kept secret in Tucson. Would love to live here.

We have been traveling across the country for the last year and this is the only place we’ve been disqualified from staying. They did a full credit investigation on me and my partner. My credit rating is excellent and my income is over 10k per Month. My partners rating was not good at all. We also had to pay $40 each for this credit investigation rather than them finding out on the phone before having to fill Out their thorough application. I would never consider staying here. No refund for our rejected application. Please feel free to use your own judgment on choosing this park

This was a park I was extremely interested in and found a home I really liked but I have a coworker who lives there and was warned about the rude office staff. I did call and this woman was rude. This also confirmed to me the recent reviews. This is sad because it is a very well kept park, but when the office staff is unpleasant to deal with and act offended you called to inquire about one of their many homes up for sale it just raises a red flag. Who wants to deal with that? Not me. Like I said this is sad because it really looks like a nice park.

This delightful destination, lovingly renovated by a mother-daughter duo, features mid-century accommodations from 1949, including rare restored Airstreams and trailers. Guests rave about the warm hospitality provided by Toni, who goes above and beyond to ensure everyone feels at home. The amenities are impressive—free laundry facilities, refreshing showers, fresh eggs for breakfast, and coffee to kickstart your day.
An absolute gem—I adored it! The place feels like a step back in time, radiating '50s charm with its nostalgic colors, retro appliances, and a soundtrack straight out of the '60s and '70s. Plus, you get free perks like coffee, eggs for breakfast, towels, and access to a washer, dryer, and swimming pool. Toni, the owner, is incredibly warm and welcoming. Highly recommend! Note that I was staying in my trailer, not in a room.

Do you ever read so many five star reviews and think “no way”. All I can say is it’s all true. The words to describe this place are Funky and Special. Solo woman van traveler who is adding my 5 star review to all the others. Owned by the nicest people. Stay here, drive into town which is only 10-15 minutes.

If you are looking for something quaint and comfy, this is the place! Karl was more than accommodating and made our stay here very pleasant! It has a pool and gated community, but it is in a very safe looking area right on the outside of Tucson! I love it!
Karla P — Google review
This place is awesome, The owner and managers were so friendly and helpful. They run a beautiful and artistic place. I can't wait to come when it's a holiday. If you stay anywhere else you're missing out big time.

We originally came here on a Harvest Host 2 years ago. We have been back now 4 times and will always come back when in the Tucson area. We stayed 4 nights this time to get some maintenance done, the dog groomed and hubby’s hearing aids. Toni is the nicest person and the location is safe and secure. We had a rain storm and she was busy putting down astro turf mats to keep us out of the puddles. Coffee and happy hour on the patio every morning and evening are a must! Met the nicest people! Didn’t stay in a motel room but the people we met loved it. Quaint cool kitschy location! Oh the hot showers in the pink bathroom are wonderful !

Toni is a fantastic Host! So kind and always out working on something. I couldn't be more thankful for her accommodating me last minute while my van was in the shop. This space offers free laundry, showers, fresh eggs, and coffee in the morning. With a nice patio to lounge on during the day/ drink you coffee. Or a clubhouse inside where I've seen people working quietly. Plus a kitchen inside or grill outside if you need. Love the vibe of the place! Would absolutely stay again! Thanks Again El Pais!
Berlyn E — Google review
What a unique and magical, MAGICAL place! El Pais Motel is one of those places I wanted to visit the moment I first saw it and when a couple reached out to me to photograph their wedding there, I worked hard to make sure they wouldn't want to book any other photographer. Damn, was I lucky... The couple was INCREDIBLE and this venue is like nothing else in Tucson, and honestly, unlike most other venues that exist. Period. If it's for a place to visit, a place to sleep, a place to have fun or a place to get married - Do them ALL here at El Pais!! What a gem! Tucson is lucky to have you!
Candid P — Google review
We have stayed here twice. We used our Harvest Host membership. But this campground is fun, Toni is accommodating, helpful and so genuine. There are hotel rooms available as well if you're not a camper. A great place to hang. Quiet and restful.

If you're a stargazing enthusiast, Stellar Vision Astronomy in Tucson is a must-visit destination. Known for its crystal-clear skies, Tucson offers an unparalleled experience for both amateur and seasoned astronomers. You can explore the cosmos using your own telescope or binoculars, or take advantage of guided tours at renowned observatories like Kitt Peak National Observatory and Mt. Lemmon Sky Center. Stellar Vision Astronomy stands out not just for its impressive selection of telescopes but also for its exceptional customer service.
8 stars needs to be an option for reviewing this place, wow, I was blown away by the lengths Frank and co went to help me get a telescope. Not only the service, but the used prices simply can't be beat by any company anywhere. I was able to buy a lightly used to the point it might as well be new telescope, and the discount was substantial. I also received a significant discount on a high quality used OTA soft case. Highly recommend anyone looking for a telescope to check out this place. You get to avoid being scalped online, and you get to support a local business at the same time. Everyone wins. I'll be back for sure! ~Bryan with a y.

Great store. They literally have a forest of telescopes to choose from. Very knowledgeable.
Dennis G — Google review
I’ve been dealing with Frank for 15+ years. In this time by continuously trading up he has helped me build a very nice collection of various viewing equipment. He knows astronomy that’s all there is to that. You might also ask him about his Santana Band. Thank You Frank.
Eric W — Google review
Drove here from Phoenix to upgrade my eyepiece collection because I read great things. This place is packed with gear. Frank was a great resource for info on scopes, eyepieces, filters and viewing advice. He gave me an honest assessment of my equipment and even tried talking me out of purchasing additional eyepieces and guided me on how to use what I had for a great experience. In the end I still purchased 2 eyepieces and 2 filters and am looking forward to using them. Thanks Frank.
Jason P — Google review
This is my go-to place. There's a great selection and Frank is extremely helpful. The last couple of times I've dropped in, there's been a big-ticket customer waiting for him. But Frank took the time to answer my questions and did not make me feel rushed. The location is a bit out of the way, but worth the drive. Highly recommend.
Mark M — Google review
Frank was highly recommended to me so I got in touch for a general service on my astrophotography rig and custom modifications to it. I have yet to have the work done but Frank seemed extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and quoted a very fair price. Easy to talk to and very responsive!
John F — Google review
Frank set me up with a great astrophotography kit. He spent so much time making sure all of my questions were answered. A GPS cable happened to be damaged, he is fixing it, and he gifted a coffee cup for the delay. He also offers lessons upon request! No full on classes, as it is hard to get groups post Covid 20/10 will return.
Michael M — Google review
I bought a fork mounted Celestron 8" SCT (Nexstar) from Frank 7 years ago (see below). It served me well until the electronics failed in 2020. I contacted Frank and he suggested installing a new circuit board, but none were available. So I bought a used, but almost new AVX mount off of Cloudynights. Frank offered to check it out for me and removed the SCT from the fork mount. So I'm back in business. Thank you Frank! How is that for service 7 years after purchasing a used scope from him?! Review from 7 years ago... Stellar Vision is a different kind of astronomy shop. Although it is possible to buy new equipment from Frank, most of his stock consists of used equipment. He literately has hundreds of used SCTs, refractors and reflectors of all description. Admittedly, some of the stuff is pretty old, but occasionally he does have some nice scopes/mounts for sale. I was looked for a used 8” SCT for star parties and found exactly what I wanted at Stellar Vision. It is a 10 year+ old Celestron GPS Nexstar 8. Used equipment is hard to evaluate in a store during the daytime, so I gave Frank a check for the purchase with the understanding that I could take the scope home and check it out overnight. I sent him an email with the details of the deal in writing. If anything was wrong, I could bring it back for a full refund (he held my check). Well, the scope GPS did not work, so I did bring it back. But Frank fixed the problem within 24 hours and I ended up buying the scope. Frank was a pleasure to deal with and very knowledgeable. The price I paid was no bargain, but a fair price. I would certainly do business with him again. Note that Stellar Vision is pretty much a one man show, so be sure to call ahead to make sure the store is open and someone is there. He does have regular hours, but occasionally steps out on other business. Even if you don’t buy anything, it is a interesting place to visit. And don’t mind the dust! You might just find a jewel under it!

Nestled in the heart of Tucson, Arizona, Sunshine Mile RV Park is a delightful retreat that offers easy access to local attractions and adventures. Just minutes from Interstate 10 and within walking distance to various amenities like gas stations, parks, convenience stores, and even a charming Mexican restaurant, this park is perfectly situated for both exploration and relaxation. Residents rave about the friendly community atmosphere that makes settling in a breeze. The spacious grounds are meticulously maintained, ensuring guests enjoy their stay in comfort.
We had a great five week stay here. Making plans to come back next winter! 👍 close to the center of town - only a 20 min walk 👍 a welcoming community of neighbors 👍 across the road from Safeway - very convenient 👍 concrete slabs - we enjoyed our quiet corner spot! 👍 great value, friendly management 👍 convenient to visit the national park We will be back!
Emily P — Google review
I stayed here while traveling for work and left after only two weeks due to serious safety concerns. As a solo female traveler, I did not feel secure at all. My electric bike was stolen, and when I asked the manager about security footage, I was simply told, “We didn’t see anything.” There’s no fence or real security, and homeless individuals frequently walk through the area. Trash bins are often overflowing, and early morning truck deliveries make it noisy and disruptive. The RV spaces are also extremely cramped, offering little privacy or peace. The only upside is the location (2stars), it’s close to a grocery store and was convenient for my job. But safety should come first. If you’re a solo traveler, especially a woman, I highly recommend finding another RV site that takes security more seriously. Reservation was back in November.
Denisse D — Google review
Sunshine Mile RV Park is an absolute gem! The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making me feel right at home. The park has well-maintained facilities. I love the peaceful atmosphere, and the location is perfect—close to shops and attractions but still quiet enough for a relaxing stay. Highly recommend this park to anyone looking for a comfortable, clean, and enjoyable place to stay. Five stars all the way!
Terra J — Google review
Pros: 1) Location is the best attribute. Close to everything around the center of Tucson. Two to three miles away from a noisy freeway, but close enough to hop on to get to other attractions around Tucson. 2) Rose is very polite and friendly. 3) Sites are pretty level and with gravel and concrete slabs. 4) Pricing is reasonable Cons: 1) Made reservations in early January for a weeks stay on 3rd week of March. Paid an extra $10 "Lock Site Fee" to ensure our site of choice. Get here and our site was given to someone else. Rose said we were suppose to be there one day before, and gave site to someone else. We showed our reservations that clearly stated our arrival date and Rose realized she made a big mistake. She told us to go into another site and went outside the office and she didn't realize someone was already in that site as well. She assigned us to a third different site that was probably a little too small for us, but we made it work. She did refund the "Lock Site Fee". 2) There is only one private bathroom with one sink, shower, and toilet. The sink doesn't have any running water. The toilet never had TP the whole week we were there. The shower did have running water, but I wouldn't advise using the bathroom as a whole because it was very dirty and poorly maintained. 3) The multiple trash cans were over flowing until picked up by the city on Friday. Behind trash cans is a junk heap of old construction materials and miscellaneous trash that is very unsightly.
Burt B — Google review
The condition of this park prompted me to write this review. Upon arriving at my site, I was struck by the numerous cigarette butts littered across the ground, making it feel as though I were walking in an ashtray. It was so overwhelming that I put on rubber gloves and picked up all the trash in my vicinity. The trash bins are situated right in the center of the park, making them unsightly and unpleasant to smell. Furthermore, the drain for gray water and sewage is located on the opposite side of the drainpipe at the back of the lot, which appears to be a common practice overall. Unfortunately, my tube wasn't long enough to reach it. The park's bathroom is typical of public parks: overused and poorly maintained. The only redeeming quality of this RV park is its very convenient location.
Carrie A — Google review
Moving into Sunshine Mile RV Park has been an incredibly positive experience for me. The neighborhood is friendly and welcoming, which made the transition smooth and enjoyable. The park itself is spacious and well-maintained, . The management team has been responsive and helpful, addressing any concerns promptly. Overall, I couldn't be happier with my decision to move here and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new home or vacation spot short term or long term!
Nicole H — Google review
Andrew and DJ are so helpful! They are the best people in the world, helping a novice like myself to set up my RV and solve a bunch of problems, even late at night. I am impressed by the friendly and helpful staff.

Ms Rose makes this place feel like home while not home. My wife and I travel in our RV and have stayed in many many places and can complain about every single one in some way. The host does absolutely anything she can to make our stay better and just the short time we've been here we have seen better security, clean sites, has a bath house she cleans regularly. She's a one man team who's doing all she can to make our stay better. Even when my wife and I have called her on her days off and late at night she has always been available to assist anyone. The location is a busy area which no one can control but close to absolutely anything you need or want. Along with the very best price around. We thank you so much Ms Rose for all your hospitality so far and for the next 2 months we're in Tucson.

This rental company is ridiculous. Asked to have an empty fresh water tank for my tow up to show low from tucson but he left it full and made my tow about 1000lbs heavier. Got charged $50 for a "sanitation fee" for chemicals I know cost $1 a bottle. And then the waste valve was left open so it made it impossible to connect the drain hose without spilling poop and pee everywhere. I call and he said to try to catch the waste then connect the hose. The waste got all over my uncle and I and left the staff at the dump station furious. Poop and pee and he wanted us to try to catch it? I swept up and it wasn't to his liking so he threatened to charge $100 to essentially sweep and mop the floor which was already dirty when I got it. I had to go back and sweep and mop just to get the security deposit back. For a guy and his mom running a side business they're extremely unorganized and unreasonable. It was such a hassle just to get my deposit back. To top things off he wanted an extra $50 per night just to use the generator. That's $150 (3 night minimum) for something that should be included to keep the lights and pumps running. I would've supplied gas for the generator but that's not worth it. Luckily my uncle had an extra generator to save me money. Never again. Terrible owner and company to use. I found a couple other companies from friends where the price is better, trailers are cleaner and better stored than the Great Dane poop infested back yard he keeps them in, and everything is included to include the generator.
