Umé Japanese Bistro is a hidden gem in Windsor, offering a relaxed setting to enjoy traditional Japanese dishes such as sushi, sashimi, tempura, and teriyaki. The restaurant not only focuses on providing delicious meals but also aims to educate guests about Japanese culture and culinary traditions. Sashimi selections like Hamachi, maguro, and escolar are available at the sushi bar.
Their new Happy Hour is amazing!! Sake cocktails (I was dubious) were really wonderful. So wonderful I had 3! And the appetizers will make both sushi and non sushi lovers happy! Lovely patio and warm service.

This place has been my sushi sanctuary for years. I order the same roll (Lady in Red) 90% of the time because if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it—and once again, it did not disappoint. Always fresh, always delicious, and always worth it. Also, their Happy Hour (4:30–6:00) draws a crowd, and for good reason. Three big groups were already on it while I was there. If you haven’t hit up Umé yet, treat yourself—it’s worth the trip!

Our first time eating here. We are new to the area and we love love Japanese food. To our surprise, the pork Katsu was dry. My husband got sashimi and the fish was not fresh. Tempura combo was ok but the salmon was dry as well and the serving size was really small. The service was excellent though and the atmosphere was fantastic. Unfortunately we won’t be coming back to eat here.

Good sushi and service. I’ve been here maybe five times. A few times with my boyfriend. He enjoyed the food too. Last time on a birthday work lunch for a co-worker. Everyone was happy. Nice find for a Japanese restaurant along Old Redwood Hwy if you are in Windsor area 😊
Nancy H — Google review
This is the best sushi spot in Sonoma county. They’re on the higher end on pricing, but it’s definitely worth it! The sushi is made perfectly, and the sauces are all home made. Even the tofu deserves recognition, it’s that good.
Daniel K — Google review
We used to come here regularly for team lunches, enjoying the nice setting and decent food. Unfortunately, the quality and freshness have seriously declined in recent months. During our last visit, out of a table of 5 colleagues, 3 ended up sick after the meal. I had already experienced a similar issue a few months ago—likely due to fish that wasn't fresh—but decided to give it another chance. Sadly, this time confirmed our concerns. We won’t be coming back.

The stars 🌟 above tell the story. Our order tonight for dinner was simple. But it was great. We tried the Dark side of the Moon roll, and the Hamachi Kama. Both were very good and presented nicely. And the house Ponzu sauce ,was the best ever. And the hospitality was very gracious. From Sacramento, #justhavingfun

Nestled in the Double Tree Plaza of Rohnert Park, Sushi Hana is a hidden gem that promises an unforgettable dining experience. This charming sushi house offers a diverse menu featuring delectable teriyaki plates, crispy tempura dishes, and innovative fusion rolls that cater to all palates. The freshness of the ingredients shines through every dish, making it a must-visit for sushi lovers in Sonoma County.
Sushi Hana is the best sushi in Sonoma county. I have been coming here for 20 years. The food has consistently been amazing, and recently the tempura has been even better than normal. The sushi lunch specials and Wednesday/Saturday specials is where it’s at. Those are the best times to go, as you can order individual tempura pieces. There are so many things I would recommend, the specialty rolls are great as is the sesame chicken! The quality of the fish has always been top notch, this is where I tell all my friends visiting Sebastopol to go. Will always love this place!

Wonderful servers.etc. good is phenomenal. Sushi is amazing. I will walk through fire for this place. I've been going 10 years. Tempura is fantastic. They serve you in a few minutes. Sushi is great. Best place in Sonoma County. I bring all my friends when they come to town. BEST RESTARANT EVER!!!

We came here with our friends a couple of months ago. We were seated quickly. My husband ordered a steak teriyaki and he said he liked it a lot. Rich teriyaki sauce had perfectly balanced sweet and savory notes. We also got Philly Roll, Dynamite Roll, and Firecracker Roll. All the rolls were made with fresh ingredients and tasted good, though not the best I've ever had. The service was nice. Our waitress was friendly and attentive. The ambience was ok. It was a bit dim inside. I would definitely give Sushi Hana another try if I'm in the area again.
Karolina H — Google review
This is a sweet place. Friendly staff, pleasant down home atmosphere. Radio playing in the background. We ordered pot stickers, but got deep fried dumplings. Crisp and tasty. The waiter steered us to the freshest fish. We ordered Real California Roll, hamachi, unagi, tamago and futo-maki. The sushi rice was sooooo sweet. The sauce on the eel was so sweet, the tamago was so sweet. It was weird and unpleasant. The hamachi was fresh and delicious. I lifted it off the rice and ate it alone. I wonder why there was no rice vinegar in the sushi rice. And no esthetic in the food presentation. Nice place, not great food.
Mary C — Google review
I really wanted to like it here. The staff were super nice if a little disorganized, missing items in order, not knowing about menu items etc. but the sushi itself was just mediocre. Not bad. Just eh. I’m sorry. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but hopefully they’ll do better in the future.
Daniel M — Google review
The food was so fresh and tasty. The new manager, Erwin, was very attentive and checked with us a few times. Good job to the Sushi Chef as well.
Erwin H — Google review
My boyfriend and i went for dinner. It took about 2 minutes to be seated. For however busy it is you may choose your own. This place definitely has the best tempera. Their steak is not chewy and the portions are always bigger than you expect. Theyre dragon roll is excellent along with the miso soup. If you order udon it comes in a size simular to a salad bowl. Highly recommend. Been coming here for 6 years and the place has never made me feel ill.
Monique J — Google review
Store bought sushi is as good as, if not better. My family loves sushi so we’ve tried many restaurants through the years. We recently moved to Sebastopol and tried Sushi Hana. It was shocking how bad this was. If I wasn’t the one who ordered it, I would have assumed it was from Safeway. Sadly, we threw out more than half of it. Never again

Sushi Tozai is a Japanese restaurant that serves fresh and delicious sushi. It is a great spot for intimate gatherings or for taking out. The staff are always friendly and the food is consistently excellent. The upstairs seating can be quite noisy, but downstairs is more family-friendly and therefore quieter.
Always excellent! I'm never disappointed with the service or food. Super nice folks working here. Upstairs is more family oriented and subsequently louder. The sushi bar and downstairs seating is quieter and more traditional. We opt for downstairs and the regular tables. Sitting at the bar is a bit faster for food, but we like the tables just fine.
Megan P — Google review
Dinner last night mostly disappointed us. My wife had the tempura udon but the shrimp tempura was greasy telling me that they used old oil and the vegetables (usually whole)that was with the shrimp was julienned and unrecognizable. I didn't taste her udon. Spicy tuna roll tasted fine but the fish had a weird color to it. Ordered hamachi nigiri, disappointed, not fish from Japan but I believe it was caught in California, probably cheaper in price, not much taste. Can't mess up saba, but was served with a weird spicy sauce which that didn't go well with the fish. I've eaten at a lot of japanese restaurants and even worked at one in SF, won't be going back.

A decent place to visit [will be ordereding to go now], ordered separately from my partner, but food was odd still plated together [food was ordered separately due to needs]. Avocado roll is $7 for 6 pieces, mostly rice... Other than that, quick and simple service. Highly reccomend getting an air filter to have for the small dining room. It was a bit stuffy and uncomfortable and I won't be returning in person due to that. Thanks!
Sabi F — Google review
Love Tozai! Been a long time since I last went, and it's only gotten better. The wait time was short, sushi and appetizers were delicious as usual, and it was perfect for a birthday dinner. We ordered family style, with 7 or 8 rolls, and got the most delectable looking (and tasting) platter of sushi, as pictured. Pricing is pretty reasonable for the food/for Sebastopol, too! Would recommend :)
Nikolas B — Google review
Best sushi spot in Sebastopol. Been coming here since they opened years ago. Staff has consistently been kind and attentive. Sushi is delicious. Nice peaceful atmosphere.
Nancy H — Google review
This place is exceptional. The miso soup is usually an afterthought at many places, but it really shines here. We got a variety of rolls, including some daily specials (California roll topped with Eel was a stand out) and some standby rolls. The Carburetor roll, while not the most appetizing name is worth ordering. My favorite roll at any sushi restaurant is Salmon Skin, and this was probably the best I have had almost anywhere. Little bits of nicely seasoned belly meat and crispy skin were honestly the star and everyone at the table really liked it. The pink lady was the only roll that didn't rock me, but the quality of the tuna in there was undeniably good I had just never tried the soy wrap and I missed the seaweed flavor. All in all fantastic quality and price. Would recommend.
E C — Google review
It's always a very pleasant experience at this restaurant. The food is very fresh The staff including to Sushi chefs are exceptional! You must experience this to fully comprehend the experience!
Marc S — Google review
Not my favorite sushi, fish was good and the tidal wave roll was delicious with all is preparations but fish is not five star. I loved the sauce combination on this roll more than anything. Not pictured was the bento box with teriyaki chicken, the chicken was too dry and needed the sauce. Not my favorite sushi.

Sushiko is a popular Japanese restaurant located in Rohnert Park, Northern California. Despite being tucked away in a modest strip mall, it has gained recognition for its top-notch sushi and everyday Japanese cuisine. The restaurant offers the usual options like tempura and yakitori, but it's the sushi that stands out and attracts locals and visitors alike. With both indoor and outdoor seating available, Sushiko can get quite busy, so there might be a short wait for a table.
Really cute sushi place. All the appetizers looked incredible it was so hard choosing! We'll definitely be back to try more. We ended up getting miso soup, fusion tuna sashimi, Cory roll, and rainbow roll. Big portions and very delicious. Come hungry!
Issa C — Google review
I ordered a roll and it was brought out with sesame seeds on it… I said oh no I’m allergic.. she rudely responded “oh well, it’s listed on our menu that not all ingredients are listed on the menu.” I searched the menu it was listed three pages back from the roll I ordered. I told her I’d need a minute to pick something else out and she never came back. They were just in a hurry to get out of here even though they don’t close for another half hour..

Highly recommend this spot! The food is delicious! The staff is friendly and welcoming. We loved the atmosphere from the moment we walked in, the chefs welcome you in an authentically Japanese way. We’ll be back

Hit the spot! Menu is highly varied and covers lots of food types. It wasn't my favorite caterpillar roll, but still goid and everything else was great. Unassuming location and very friendly staff. Beautifully presentation!
Megan P — Google review
It's generally a nice place. Indoor/ outdoor seating was available, but sushi bar was not open yet. Friendly and enthusiastic staff. Our food took a little longer than expected but there was a large group when we were there. Chicken katsu: breast meat. Nicely fried. It was not dry but I thought it would've been better with dark meat. Spicy chicken lunch special: sauce was a little strange at first but it grows on you. Made with dark meat so the meat was tasty. Rainbow roll: pretty standard and good. No complaints Scallop roll: plenty of scallops. I thought it was good but wife thought it was a bit heavy on the mayo. Overall very happy with the food and service.
Dave W — Google review
First time at this sushi place and we were so happy we tried it. The sushi we ordered was fresh and not overly done with tons of sauces. My friend enjoyed it so much, she ordered two rolls to go to share with her office mates.
Julia N — Google review
Delicious sushi and great presentation. I had my 21st birthday here 11 years, and was very excited to see them thriving still today, so had to have my birthday dinner here again! Loved it. Very delicious

Hands down the best ramen I've ever had. Me and my girlfriend drive from Napa just to eat here. Recommendations: spicy chasu ramen, beef ribs, takoyaki, jalapeño bombs, pork kakuni. You really can't go wrong with any of their food but those are our regular dishes. Wonderful people with wonderful food. 10/10! Edit: I did forget to mention that I've been coming here for about 5 years now and it's still amazing every time.

Restaurant
Haku Sushi is a casual Japanese restaurant that offers a variety of kitchen entrees and an extensive selection of sushi, including specialty rolls. Originally opened in 2013 under different names, the restaurant has returned to its roots with a menu featuring traditional sushi selections and specialty rolls made with local ingredients and house-made sauces. The menu includes classic sushi rolls like California roll, spicy tuna roll, and veggie tempura roll.
I thought the fire symbol on the menu meant extra spicy but it was literally on fire! (And spicy) Spectacle aside very delicious. I've been many times and had many rolls by now. Haven't had one I didn't like. You can't go wrong with unagi and this place has options!
Kris — Google review
My girlfriend and I just ate here for the second time. I had a pleasant experience the first time and was excited to return. That unfortunately was where the excitement ended. We were served, of other rolls, the "Funny feeling down there". The other rolls ranged from good to delicious, but the fried soft shell crab was off by a long shot in this roll. It smelled like it sat sunbathing for a few days before packing it in and jumping head first into the fryer. The taste was exactly how you'd imagine after that. I am not super picky with seafood, but sushi, I expect to have clean flavors and taste fresh. We each had one piece, and after discovering the very off smell and taste, we brought it up to our server. She went to speak to the manager and came back a good 10-15 minutes later, saying, "we have a policy not to take it back once it's brought out. Maybe squeeze some lemon on it? " . What an odd thing to suggest when there's a possibility of bad seafood. We asked again for consideration regarding this and waited another 15 minutes to a bill being brought, including the bad roll. Again, we requested consideration. Another 10 minutes went by with no answers from a manager that wasn't on site, so I subtracted the bad roll and paid the correct amount for what we received that was edible. It saddens me when I have to resort to actions like this, but I will not be taken advantage of and won't wait an hour for a resolution. We were very patient and cool headed when discussing with the servers but didn't have all night. The servers were nice but seemed to have no real ability or desire to provide a resolution. If Management wants to contact me regarding the bill total, she is welcome to message me here. I'd avoid this place until they understand customer service and appropriate action regarding bad food items. As any other reasonable restaurant would have done, a simple " I'm sorry about that, I'll take that off and let the chef know. Is there something else I can get you?" would have sufficed.

My fiancé and I went here before getting engaged last weekend on Friday. The sushi was absolutely amazing and the portions were very good. We ate everything we ordered and got the 10% discount as we paid in cash. The only unfortunate part was our server. I'm not quite sure if she just wasn't in the right head space or what the problem was. My fiancé and I are both pescaterian and don't eat dairy or poultry products or any other kind of meat. We told her this from the time we started ordering appetizers. She brought out multiple appetizers that we ordered but the mussels has mayo on them so we had her bring us some without mayo. We enjoyed everything and then we ordered sushi and again reminded her of the fact that we have dietary restrictions. She didn't pay attention for a second time and brought us sushi and I specifically asked if it had no mayo or dairy product or poultry product. She said no but when I went to eat it I looked very closely and one of the rolls had mayo on it yet again. I then asked her to return the sushi with the mayo back to the kitchen and she said she couldn't as she would have to pay for the appetizer and wasn't gonna pay for the second food item which very much confused my fiancé and myself. We both talked about it and felt it was unprofessional and I decided to ask to speak to the manager. I proceeded to ask and she said go ahead and speak to the manager and walked away. I never saw or spoke to the manager as this was our first time at the restaurant and wouldn't know who they are. She then came back and said she would cover the sushi and brought us sushi without mayo on it. I then explained in detail as to why we have dietary restrictions and she acted blown away by it. I still never spoke to a manager. We paid for our food and left as we were disgusted with the service.

The ambiance was nice. Felt a bit rushed to order. I got the " Love Boat " which was good but recommend leaving it in the foil. The liquid from the fire made my sushi taste weird.
Kelsie S — Google review
Have been here many times with my friends and has always been good. I don’t really like sushi but they have other food options like bento boxes, udon, noodle and rice dishes with chicken, steak, and vegis. I usually come in here as a group with a couple of friends. So they can accommodate for groups and the atmosphere is so cool but a little maze like to get to the bathroom. Yeah tho I would recommend the tempura and bento boxes it’s so good. My friends say the sushi and alcohol is also so good too. Definitely worth a visit if your in the area.
Anthony G — Google review
Haku Sushi is located in the heart of Santa Rosa. Being new to the area I am always on the hunt for a sushi spot, lucky I came across Haku. Parking can be a bit tricky on a busy day since street parking is always crazy but on not busy days it’s a breeze and tons of open meter parking available, they also have a parking garage right across the street if needed. Service was great, the staff that helped me was very welcoming and gave me time to over look the menu and patiently waited till I was ready. The restaurant looked busy and I noticed tons of people also picking up orders to go. I finally placed my order and also got it to go so I can enjoy at home. Waited about 15/20 min and my food was ready. I did noticed not only is it a sushi restaurant they also have some type of Korean menu as well, so I feel like they offer more than just sushi but I didn’t ask or explore to much more. Just make sure you come hungry, they do have a good selection to choose from. I ordered 3 rolls and some veggie tempura, I would say the prices are a bit higher than what I’m used to paying back home but I know inflation is real and everything in Sonoma County seems to cost more. I will say, the rolls were delish! They were worth the price, The quality and quantity were outstanding. If you find yourself looking for sushi and are in the area, I highly recommend you stop by. FYI: TOGO 20% off on cash payment. DINE IN 10% OFF on cash payment Enjoy!

Ordered from them and got a metal shaving in my salad. Contacted to make them aware and was told to text this photo. Then they never got back to me. Tried to reach back out and got no response. Can’t trust them after getting this in my food. Good tastes good sure… in fact it was my safe food when I needed a pick me up. Can’t ever go back. Feel totally disgusted and disrespected by the lack of any kind of apology or even acknowledgement. Just totally brushed off.

I ordered delivery from Haku this evening. My salmon nigiri arrived on top of the very hot udon soup, sealed in the same bag. There was steam inside the nigiri package. Definitely not safe yo eat and warm to the touch. When I called I was told that they had a new person packing things up and they were sorry. The would do nothing to remedy the situation though, bc they wanted me to go through the delivery company. They agreed they were at fault, and the delivery company did nothing wrong, but they "owed them 100's of dollars." The rest of the food was soggy, not fresh or coated in too much sauce.

Waited about 1 hour for a plate of Kung Pao chicken. Listened to bartenders, servers, managers, and cooks complain and argue the entire time. My wife got her food. I sat for 30-40 mins before getting mine. 1 bar well in the entire place. No low sodium soy sauce for the couple next to us, and they are regulars…they were upset. Overall, poorly managed and operated. Would not return. Work hard all week to hope to go to a nice restaurant. This was not it. A disappointment. Plate was average. Better food at China Village in RP.

This is my new favorite place to eat!!! Came for the calamari and heard the sushi was “the best,” did NOT DISAPPOINT!!! Wonderful sauces and flavors. The hidden dragon roll is SO CUTE and SO GOOD!!! Absolutely delicious flavor combinations and textures. GINORMOUS selection of tasty foods and sushi, I’ll spend several more visits just trying things out!!! Great seating and seating choices, everything was immaculate and there’s these ADORABLE robots that deliver the food to your table! Food was served incredibly fast, too! From start to finish, I loved the experience and the food!!!

Japanese restaurant
Shige Sushi, located in Cotati, is a cozy sushi bar with only 22 seats, including the bar. Despite its small size, this spot offers affordable yet luxurious Japanese dishes such as authentic karaage, spicy poke salad, high-quality nigiri and sashimi, and an extensive selection of rolls. The menu includes gaijin-style mayonnaise/fried rolls and the portions are generous. The restaurant is open from Tuesday to Saturday and closed on Sunday and Monday.
The best sushi in the area! Great service and chill vibe on the deck outside. I had some amazing sake and enjoyed the Shigo mystery roll (pictured)!

This is our second time visiting this restaurant in Cotati while on our family short trips. We loved the fresh sashimi, the grilled Kama and octopus and the refreshing sake. Because the restaurant is small, it takes a while waiting for a table and for the server to help you with your orders. It’s a family run business so it is refreshing to see the kids helping out and being so hospitable with their guests.

I ordered the Crazy Ninja roll, gyoza, udon noodle soup and seaweed salad. So delicious! Staff is so kind too! I’m so happy to find a local sushi restaurant to go to now. I look forward to dine here in person soon.💗

This place reminds me of some back alley izakaya’s my Japanese hosts would take me to in Tokyo. Their nigri is limited, but they do get the perfect rice-to-protein ratio! The speciality.rolls are extensive and creative.. Overall, the portions are larger than other sushi bars and of very good quality. Our favorite so far is the Godzilla roll - bursting with flavor and some heat. Definitely will return so save us a seat on the patio (limited seating).
Richard P — Google review
The service was great, the atmosphere was nice and the location was convenient. There is parking in the back or nearby so it is not a hassle to eat here. Sushi and entrees are at average prices but a wee bit on the expensive side. However, their quality and showmanship are excellent. I recommend this place to anyone who is an avid sushi/seafood lover.

Shige in Cotati is a Gem. I am a total sushi snob and I say with confidence that above all this restaurant shows it’s strength through its food. It is small, cute, clean, has outdoor seating. My wife dropped her chopsticks and no joke she had a fresh pair in-hand from our waiter in less than ten seconds it was amazing and the food is GOOD get the hamachi collar appetizer and their maguro was of higher-than-most quality.
Jesse L — Google review
I've been to hundreds of Japanese restaurants. In LA. In NYC. In Tokyo. In Kyoto. The local efforts in Sonoma County are often not great. But SHIGE IS GREAT. It's run by actual Japanese people who know what the correct flavors and qualities are in Japanese food. It's not particularly fancy, and the servers are young people who may not know the nuances of sake or etc. But that's kind of irrelevant. The food is the best sushi I've had North of San Francisco, and at a better price and less pretentious. I put in on-par with Ebisu (SF) or Hamano (Noe Valley) but I actually like Shige better than either. They even make things like TakoYaki you don't seen on many menus.

This neighborhood sushi restaurant is so wonderful! Shige and Toki (and Kuu) have been serving for many years in Cotati and always bring love and creativity to dinner. Every time I visit, they make me feel right at home and their quality of service always makes me relaxed and happy to be there. The fish is outstanding with a wide specials selection that changes all the time, you never know when something new is available. For such high quality food, this is so reasonably priced and accessible to many people for a nice night out or a quick lunch. The restaurant is small, cozy, and intimate, you really get to know chef Shige and your neighbors. The patio is lively and comes with heat lamps for the cooler nights. I absolutely love the vintage Japanese movie and beer posters! I always love to order the Ikamaru, Agedashi Tofu, miso soup, tons of nigiri sushi, Shige Panic Roll, 49er Roll, negihama, and Chirashi Don. And dinner is usually accompanied with hot sake, or in the summer, a large cool bottle of beer. I really relied on them through the pandemic, I would order Togo regularly for dinner, and it was always a pleasure to see them and it was so nice to bring home my comfort food. And I'm so happy they made it successfully out of the pandemic without having to switch to majority online orders. Shige and Toki are very impressive and they really really care so deeply. I can't speak enough about how awesome and amazing Shige and Toki and the whole team are at the restaurant. They always go above and beyond for their guests. I highly recommend this fantastic sushi restaurant. Please visit them soon!

Just had dinner at Shogun Japanese on Farmers Lane, Santa Rosa . It was myself, my husband, and our baby. Not only was the food amazing, but the waitstaff were exceptional. When we thought we would need to leave because of the baby so as not to be disruptive, the waitress offered to carry him around so we could enjoy our meals for a few minutes. Also, drinks were topped off frequently! We had: Cherry blossom roll Sweetheart roll Golden Bear roll Ocean trio roll Nigiri: sake, kampachi, hamachi, escolar Highly recommend for families or a date night. Thank you so much to Shogun staff!

There’s nothing special about this restaurant that stands out, or that makes it better than any other place. The food is average and the sushi is slightly dry. I probably won’t come back for a while.

I enjoyed the nigiri and specialty rolls.. not too much rice to fish ratio. It all tasted very fresh, and the place has a very authentic decor and vibe. It was reasonably pleasant in there despite the hot weather, but did get a little warm inside. Order came out pretty fast and price was reasonable. I would go again.

Bluefish Sushi & Grill is a Japanese restaurant located in Santa Rosa, specifically in the CVS Longs Shopping center on Yulupa Avenue. The interior boasts a small dining area and is well-decorated and clean. Customers have praised the friendly service and quick preparation of delicious sushi rolls at affordable prices. The quality of ingredients used in their dishes has been highlighted, with one customer even receiving an extra deep-fried roll as a special treat from the chef.
Walked in for the first time to just grab a roll or two and run off to an appointment. The server and sushi chef were incredibly nice, and we had our rolls and were ready to go in 5 minutes! The restaurant is very clean and well decorated. The rolls are AMAZING! Quality ingredients really can make a difference, and for such a good price! The chef even gave us an extra deep fried roll and it was probably the best sushi I have ever had. New favorite sushi place for sure!

We’ve been coming to Steve for over 10 years (previously Redwood City and now Santa Rosa), and there’s truly no one like him. His sushi is consistently outstanding - the fish is always fresh, and he creates unique rolls you won’t find anywhere else. What really sets Steve apart is the care he puts in every detail, especially in his presentation. You can tell he loves what he does and it shows in every bite. Thank you for over a decade of wonderful meals!

Sushi Kosho is a modern Japanese restaurant located in Sebastopol, known for its industrial-cool ambiance and focus on local ingredients. Chef Jake Rand, who has studied authentic Japanese cuisine for years, takes pride in the high quality and sustainability of the restaurant's offerings. The menu features a variety of sushi, donburi rice bowls, and modern Japanese dishes that go beyond traditional options.
The food was all delicious, made fresh and came out fast. There were a few new spins on a classic item, such as the crab wontons (Rangoon's) drenched in a sweet chilli sauce & covered with a delicious veggie slaw or the blackened edamame dusted with a Japanese seven spice and drizzled with fresh grilled lime juice. We also tried the salmon citrus roll, the thinly sliced like pieces really kicked up the flavor combo. We finished it off with an order of toro - which was fresh and buttery melt in your mouth fatty tuna.

Having lived in Japan for 6 years, and being married to a Japanese person, I feel well qualified to rate this restaurant. I have been there between sever or eight times. I’ve eaten there for lunch. I’ve eaten there for dinner. Each time I go I really want to like the food. I hope that it will improve, but the truth is the food is not good and it hasn’t improved. But more over, you can feel the bad energy in the wait person staff, there’s a vibe that feels as though they undervalued and are working under a very critical unsupportive eye… every once in a while one of their specialty rolls tastes OK.and the eggplant was not bad…I just wish they were better.
Cheryl C — Google review
Unfortunately, the nigiri was lackluster which was so disappointing. Spicy tuna hand roll was very good, the best item I ordered. Very spicy!! Service was excellent!! Try the black sesame ice cream.
Rachel E — Google review
A friend recommended Kosho and I am disappointed. I always order chirashi from Japanese restaurants and this chirashi felt like a $40 bowl of fish scraps. Except for the salmon roe. The rice was not sushi rice, or if it was it must have been very lightly seasoned. In the attached pictures you can see how the fish cuts are falling apart, small and uneven. So much tuna and salmon, barely any of any whitefish. I was looking forward to mackerel sashimi as that isn't common in Chirashi, but I couldn't even enjoy it as it was mainly skin with tattered fish on it. Chirashi is a bowl of assorted sashimi, not randomly cut fish. My family got other dishes, the tofu donburi and a roll, both were fine. The cooked vegetables with the tofu mightve been the tastiest. Maybe just stick to nigiri if you want raw fish here. Service was overall good. But so disappointed by the fish when it costs more than other restaurants.

This is some of the best sushi we have had in Northern California. It was very surprising because we did not expect such good sushi to be here in Sevastopol. The location of the restaurant is a little small so we had a little wait but it’s in an awesome outdoor mixed market and shopping area called the Barlow and we easily killed some time walking and sitting by the park next door. Two or three fun looking bars in the vicinity. The food was excellently prepared with high quality ingredients. This is not a $150 omakase type of experience, but for its class of family style accessible Japanese places, the food is more than solid, it’s exquisite and at a reasonable price compared to similar places all throughout the Bay Area. The standout was the 15 spices ribs appetizer. Perfectly prepared, seared outside and tender outside, impressed our international table. The sushi is also made with great fish. This time I didn’t try any special toro but the quality of the fish makes me think there is a secretly overtalented chef in the back taking it one step at a time to deliver what’s needed for a family commumity. This is awesome and not a crazy price at about $40 per person including tip and tax for five people for a fantastic dinner. Easy parking here lots of free parking at the Barlow. Try to make a reservation ahead of time if you can!

Kiraku Sushi & Ramen is a great place to get sushi and ramen. It has a conveyor belt that brings your food to your table, and it's really cool how you can order food on a tablet and have it delivered to you. The food is delicious, and the service is great. If you're looking for something new and different, Kiraku Sushi & Ramen should be at the top of your list.
This sushi spot had great reviews on Google Maps and Yelp, so I decided to give it a try. The conveyor belt wasn’t running during my visit, but I didn’t mind—it meant everything was made to order and fresh. We sat at a bar-style table and placed our orders through an iPad. The food arrived on a little race car running along the second level of the conveyor belt, which was such a fun touch to watch. We ordered a variety of appetizers, specialty sushi rolls, and even a tonkatsu ramen. To finish, we couldn’t resist the deep-fried Oreos. Every single dish was delicious—there wasn’t a miss. The warm sake paired perfectly with the sushi, and the staff was attentive, keeping our water filled and making sure we were taken care of. I’d definitely come back! Highly recommend this place if you’re looking for fresh, fun, and tasty sushi.
Lo — Google review
The sushi here is okay, the sashimi is fresh, the restaurant has a diverse menu with many dishes. The ramen here is normal, but because I wanted to eat noodles, I tried it. When you come here, you should order sushi because it is the restaurant's strength. The staff is friendly, the service is good even though the restaurant is very crowded, there are even robot waiters, the restaurant will have a food delivery system by conveyor belt, whatever dish you order, the conveyor belt will transport the dish to that table area.

Lani was sweet, knowledgeable and asked if we had any food allergies. She went over how everything worked and made us feel very welcome. The food was amazing and we will definitely be coming back!

This place was awesome. I took my little brother out to eat here for the first time, and this was a really cool way to eat. We were brought to our table by a cute robot, and after we ordered our food, it arrived on a little train that zoomed in and stopped at our table. It was surprisingly cozy and quiet, with many people there. As someone with sensory problems this place is really nice it wasn't too loud despite how many people were there 10/10 will be eating there again

Senju Japanese Restaurant has carved out a special place in the hearts of locals and visitors alike, thanks to its warm and welcoming staff. Nestled in Windsor, this charming eatery offers an array of off-menu specials that pique curiosity and delight the palate. Guests rave about their experiences here, often highlighting the exceptional service provided by the dedicated owners who strive to ensure every visitor leaves satisfied. The ambiance feels like a cozy embassy of Japanese cuisine, making it an inviting spot for sushi lovers.
I have had two very pleasant experiences at Senju. The service is superlative. I can't eat there without wanting this business to thrive. The food is an excellent value but I would eat there for the experience alone, with he head chef welcoming every guest into an ensconced little embassy of Japanese cuisine. The food is pretty good. It is excellent for Windsor and a strip mall sushi place. If you pay attention to things like the marble-ing on your fish, you won't be disappointed but you might not be thrilled if you are unrealistic and a snob. The rice is notably good, which it should be better because it is a sushi restaurant but overlooked in a world of retail sushi. The miso is balanced, not too rich and not too watery. I am very frugal so I guess I am not crazy about the price, which aren't exorbitant, but you get what you pay for in this case. Senju is a well kept, unassuming secret that I don't mind sharing with people who have informed opinions about sushi.

Food: Martini Shrimp - 6 pieces served in a martini glass - $10 Shrimp was definitely frozen and was reminiscent of Walnut Prawns but not in the same sauce. The sauce was more like the salad dressing commonly used in Japanese restaurants. Negi Hama Roll - 8 pieces; yellowtail, lemon slides, green onion (maki roll) - $11 Fish was mushy and did not taste fresh, and the sushi rice had a very dull color (unsure why that is). Chirash Don - assorted sashimi over bed of sushi rice - $31.50 When the dish first came out, I realized this place wasn't serious. It came in a very small box, and the sashimi pieces were small. For a $31 dollar price point is insane. The quality of the sashimi was also not fresh, again, the yellowtail was mushy (I didn't finish the 1 piece). Ahi tuna (3 x 1 inch pieces) were dull in color and again didn't taste or look fresh. Salmon pieces were close to see-through and not fresh. I had a bite of the tamago piece it had an old refrigerator taste as in it's been sitting long enough to absorb the taste. Crispy Chicken (al la carte) with side of rice - $19.50 + $3 (rice) The chicken was battered like orange chicken and also tasted similar. I felt that the chicken was chopped into small pieces and battered instead of larger pieces. The chicken was served over a bed of lettuce. Underwhelming and to me overpriced, especially with no rice included. All in all, I did not enjoy my experience at all and a lot of items are overpriced for what it is and how they tasted. Not fresh and for the chirashi, small portion. Will not be returning.
Linda N — Google review
Not the most amazing Japanese restaurant I've ever eaten at. My Sushi roll was completely over sauced, however my vegetable tempura was absolutely delightful. Steer clear of the Crazy Wontons. We thought it might be their version of a Japanese Nacho. Weird food. The dumpling was far superior than when it had a cheese sauce all over it. The beef wrapped Asparagus was amazing, but not anywhere near the price it should have been. Two pieces of asparagus with very thinly shaved beef is not worth $20. A coworker said the Lemon Chicken was good, but i think we all left feeling a bit disappointed.

Really nice Japanese sushi restaurant located in a nice area. Everything about it perfect. Great food, great service, and drinks. Only downside are the portion sizes. You have to order 3-4 sushi rolls per person. The lamb chops are 1 bite each, and they have no flavor.

Do not order the sashimi. I spent $23 on 7 slices of the smallest cut sashimi slices I have ever had. It was shocking to everyone. I asked the server if it was a mistake and she said that’s the cut was normal. I wish I had taken a picture to post. The rolls are the way to go. Way, way may food.

Paradise Sushi & Grill in Santa Rosa offers a truly memorable dining experience that perfectly blends traditional Japanese cuisine with a unique Spanish twist. Their extensive menu features something for everyone, from sushi aficionados to those exploring Japanese cuisine for the first time. The menu stands out with its variety of sushi rolls, sashimi, and nigiri options, all prepared with fresh, high-quality ingredients. Some crowd favorites include the Dragon Roll, with its delicate balance of eel, avocado, and sweet sauce, and the Rainbow Roll, showcasing vibrant layers of fresh fish. For those who prefer something warm and hearty, the Teriyaki Chicken Bento Box is a fantastic option, combining tender chicken with perfectly steamed rice and crisp vegetables. One of the highlights of the menu is their inventive sushi rolls with a subtle Spanish influence. The fusion rolls add a delightful twist, bringing unique flavors that you won’t find at a typical sushi restaurant. A must-try is the Paradise Special Roll, which combines savory and spicy elements in a way that’s both bold and comforting. The appetizers are equally impressive, with options like Gyoza and Tempura Shrimp setting the stage for a satisfying meal. For those looking for lighter fare, the Seaweed Salad and Miso Soup are classic staples done exceptionally well. Beyond the food, the experience is elevated by the warm and personable service. The staff is incredibly attentive, and the owner, Juan, often greets guests personally, sharing stories about how he and his four brothers started the restaurant. Their dedication to family values is evident in every aspect of the dining experience. Juan’s enthusiasm and genuine hospitality make every visit feel special, and it’s no surprise that the restaurant now has four thriving locations. Whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply enjoying a casual meal, Paradise Sushi & Grill delivers on all fronts. The combination of fresh, flavorful dishes, a welcoming atmosphere, and a heartfelt story behind the restaurant’s origins makes it a standout in Santa Rosa. I’ll definitely be back to try more of their incredible offerings, and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a sushi experience with a unique and personal touch. Reviews by Siare Keating

Great service, everyone working seems to be happy and enjoying their day🤙 The rolls were and nigiri were delicious, and priced similar to most other sushi in the area. We loved our experience, I look forward to coming back and doing all you can eat when I have a few hours to hangout 😆 Fun sake flavors, decent pricing(less than other sushi places I’ve seen) Keep up the good work Paradise!!

I've lived in Santa Rosa for 2 years & I'm barely on this side of town. One day, my friend & I decided to grab some all you can eat sushi. She suggested this place & I was really surprised that little restaurants like this existed on this side of the highway. I honestly prefer it. Downtown is always busy with mall shoppers, beer bar hoppers & book lovers. It is almost impossible to find parking on that side. When I drove on this side, I was able to find parking quickly. Bring some change because there are meters here. & if you don't, they'll also take your credit card. This place gets packed easily so call ahead of time or enjoy a couple seats at the bar. My friend & I shared about 7 sushi rolls & we were stuffed. We didn't even eat prior to this. But it was totally worth it. For $20-something per person for all you can eat, do it. You will not regret it.

I got the Vegas roll and the ceviche roll for a late lunch. They were just fine. The price was very steep for the quality (2 rolls 1 ice tea, modest tip =50$). Admittedly, they were large and made quickly. They were playing loud spooky show tunes for Halloween. Can't see myself having an overpriced date or friend gathering there. Subpar food and terrible atmosphere.

Update. Just had dinner there august twenty eighth. It was awesome. The food was delicious. Check out the pictures. Is they explained at all. The food is good. I'd like to sit at the sushi bar.

Nope… not a Paradise for sushi lovers! Edamame was most likely microwaved (very hot and very mushy) - the sashimi was way too overpowered by the peppers and shiracha - both rolls very loose, sloppy done and not very interesting. The waiter at the door didn’t seemed very interested in introducing us to the menu and the location wasn’t cozy. Reading their own introduction to the place online is unfortunately so far from the actual experience - maybe the owner should either change the introduction on the website or train the staff as he claims to have been trained.

Toyo was my Dad and my fav Jap in Sonoma County. Was happy to hear the owner finally retired and even happier to find out the place has the same DELICIOUS sushi and lovely ambiance. Thanks to Gilbert who has been rolling sushi there for years and has stayed making the delicious rolls. Thank you for this special place for us to come to. We love you! 💕

Delicious food. We came here for my son's birthday. My mom won't try sushi but did find a great meal (hot plate) that she liked. My son and I had 5 different rolls between us that were all very good. We also got a plate of tempura veggies that were crisp but not greasy and were very tasty. Also enjoyed the fun sake margaritas. Really refreshing.

NOT Four STARS Having been to countless sushi restaurants in my 40+ years, including JAPAN, this is not sushi. We had two bento boxes and one hot plate. The chicken was tasteless, beef rock hard. The vegetables were raw. Tempura probably used wholesale batter. It doesn't taste light, crispy, not slight sweat...only deep fried. Be careful of your bill! They charged extra. This also happened to the table next to us!

A friend had told me about this place and it was a total surprise as I didn't expect much being in a small strip mall. The service was extremely friendly and efficient, the fish was amazingly fresh, and the menu is huge. I had a Dragon Roll on my first visit there for lunch and returned the next night with two of my friends for dinner. I had the Poke Bowl which was enough to share with another person so next time I would probably just order a half Bowl which they offer. The atmosphere is fine though nothing fancy and very clean. For those interested in sports there is a large screen which at dinner did not bother me in the least as the sound was very low. Lots of different sakes. I thought the prices were extremely reasonable for the amount of food you got as well. I highly recommend this place.

I was actually impressed with the quality of the sushi here. I’m happy to hear they kept the Su chef and Head chef from the previous restaurant. We ordered lots of sushi, and it all came out amazing. We’ll definitely keep coming!!

O Sushi is a hidden restaurant located in Healdsburg that may easily go unnoticed due to its location in a small shopping center near Big Johns Market. While the establishment may lack in decor and ambiance, it compensates with an extensive menu of appetizers and rolls that are full of flavor. One must try their Jalapeno Bombs, even if it means breaking your diet. This Santa Rosa gem offers consistently excellent fresh fish, delectable dinner options, and delightful desserts.
We had Sushi and enjoyed it a lot. And you get quite a lot for the price of it. Coming from Germany we weren't expecting the portions being as big as they were. The staff was nice and friendly. The location was inviting and nice.

Thank you to all of the reviewers, we also loved this delicious, clean, friendly restaurant! Everything was super fresh, delicious and carefully presented, plenty of food. Hot food was piping hot and Chirashi Bowl was full of fresh, nice & cold sashimi. Just an FYI; the Korean vegetable pancake while delicious is a bit greasy and tea very flavorless (pass on tea). Restaurant, tables, seats, all plates and cups were modern and super clean! The restaurant has large flat screens on each wall to watch sports (golf/soccer were on 02.13.24). Thank you so much!!! This place was okay, I'd probably come back if other places weren't open. Their menu was set up well with lots of pictures. I was happy to see they had a decent selection of veggie rolls, but I wish they had different choices for the specialty rolls. There was a lot of crab and tempura options which I wouldn't choose. They didn't have some of the menu options available for the nagiri. The hot tea was alright, very woody. The waiter was very friendly. Complimentary pineapple or fried oreo offered after the meal.

I could eat sushi here every day and night. Very delicious food, polite staff, great customer service, beautiful little spot, and good prices. I recommend it.
LOURDES H — Google review
Excellent food at reasonable prices. The fish and seafood was absolutely fresh — clean, and sea-sweet — and pristinely presented. Portions are generous, and ratio of fish to rice in their rolls is spot-on. Extensive sushi menu should have something for everyone, though the number of choices and pictures on the menu can be a bit overwhelming for those looking to make a quick choice. The 25-piece chef’s choice sashimi combo is a steal and can be shared by 2-3 people easily. The tempura oreo cookie we were surprised with at the end of the meal was a pleasant surprise, and rather delicious too! During a time when other restaurants seem to be cutting their fish into ever-smaller pieces, O! sushi is definitely a cut above the rest! (NB: the two locations are not owned or operated by the same folks, and their menus are different!)

Wow. Honestly, I am so shocked in this hole in the wall sushi resturant. I came in on my birthday from a recommendation; now I'm pretty loyal to my sushi place, I've been going for years, but O Suhsi just found another regular. Their service is amazing, thank you chef and to the women who served us. We ordered miso soup and 2 surpise rolls (not on the menu, I just asked the chef to be creative and have fun). They heard it was my birthday and gave us an appitizer and fried oreos on the house. The sushi and miso was delicious! Super flavoriful and just look at them! Came back 3 days later with my coworkers and we got the same quality. One of my cowokers doesn't like seafood and got the terriyaki chicken and they couldnt shut up about it. The parking is good, it's connected to an outside shopping center, but it can get busy. Getting out of the parking lot can be a little tricky during busy traffic times. 11/10 I would recommend. They went above and beyond in both food and service.
Nysa L — Google review
I ordered a 3 part bento box and heavy metal roll. Everything was delicious! I wish i had asked for steamed gyoza but that's my bad, I forgot how many places default fried. The sushi chef accidentally gave me salmon sashimi when I ordered tuna sashimi, not a terrible mix up! But once he realized it, was extremely quick to fix the mix up at no charge and i kept the salmon sashimi too. The service was amazing here, the waitress was so intuitive and attentive but not overbearing at all. Then to top it off they offered me a treat on the house with the choice of fried oreo or pineapple....i was shocked when she came out with a whole pineapple boat! Made my night. Would come again! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because i'm not a fan of the oil they use jn the fryer. I should note that I am sensitive to canola and vegetable oils. Other than that, great taste and great combinations for rolls. Big menu!

Had take out with a lot of good sushi. The deep fried is not "sushi" but absolutely delicious! There are tons of inventive and pretty rolls. The flying fish roe and quail egg combo is always a favorite. Very well executed and appreciated during COVID.

Paradise Sushi and Hibachi is a delightful culinary destination that promises an unforgettable dining experience. Known for its extensive selection of fresh sushi, this spot offers everything from hand rolls to nigiri, ensuring there's something for every palate. Guests rave about the speedy and friendly service, with staff even adding a touch of entertainment by dancing to the music while you dine. On my recent visit, I was thrilled to find that the quality remained consistently high; all dishes were fresh and bursting with flavor.
Food was bomb, service was great. We paid around 70 dollars for all the sushi you can eat, a couple of drinks and the tip. They have a good variety and the fish is fresh and tasty. They have hand rolls, miso soup, salad, nigiri and makis. Would definitely come back with more people. Just keep in mind they charge for being wasteful and you can’t take leftovers home. My husband and I ate 3 plates and it was more than enough. The portion sizes are worth it.
Paola G — Google review
I think this will be my last visit to Paradise sushi. I used to come here all the time with my friends and family and we were all very satisfied with the sushi. The last few times I walked away disappointed and this time was even worse than before. This place should be called Pathetic sushi and Hibachi If you look at it from the top it looks amazing. This has to be only 5% fish on all of the nigiri and rolls. Here you can see the California roll with how much fish compared to everything else. The fish is fresh and The taste is good. It's very clean and I was satisfied with the quail eggs and the salmon egg nigiri. That's it. I don't know if all the waiters are as bad as the one that we got but this guy was terrible. It wasn't even that busy. The sushi chef did not give us any wasabi or ginger, I had to get my own fork, they brought different sushi versus what I ordered and completely forgot a number of different items all together. My dad got the tempura and it was pretty bad also. It was mostly covered in bread and really soggy with grease. These people should go to a real Japanese restaurant someday and understand what real Japanese food should taste like. My Hope is they change owners and keep the AYCE and go back to the way it was. At $37 for the dinner it's a complete and total scam.

Is best surprise date night ever. She had no clue where we were going and the fun part was she had never been to habachi in Santa Rosa and didn't even realize one existed. That made it extra special. We got a private hibachi table with a private chef. Dias put on a great performance. He made my girlfriend's birthday extra special. We both have the steak and lobster. Try it you will like it.

This was our first experience with a hibachi restaurant and it was amazing! Johnny did a great job keeping us laughing and amazed at his skills!! My daughter loved every second of it. The food was sooo good! We will definitely be back!

Paradise Sushi & Hibachi is a bit of a mixed bag, with some highs and some very definite lows. My wife and I came in for dinner, me for the all-you-can-eat (AYCE) sushi and she for the hibachi steak and chicken combo. The meal started with a standard miso soup, which was perfectly fine—much like any other I've had. The side salads, however, were a disappointment for my wife, who usually loves them, and were just okay for me. For the main courses, my wife was thoroughly unimpressed with her hibachi. The steak was decent, but the chicken was overcooked, and the shrimp was also rubbery. The rice was, unfortunately, a letdown. My experience with the AYCE sushi was an adventure. At $39, the value is excellent, but a key detail is that the rolls are full-sized. I made the mistake of ordering five rolls right away, which turned the meal into a race against the clock to finish all 50 pieces and avoid being charged for leftovers. While it was my own fault for over-ordering, the atmosphere felt a bit tense. I felt like I was being watched by the staff, who were likely on the lookout for customers trying to share their AYCE rolls. The sushi itself was good for the first few bites, but the overwhelming task of finishing everything made it hard to enjoy. Overall, it's hard to recommend the hibachi side of the menu based on my wife's meal. For the sushi, the value is there, but you have to be very strategic with your order to truly enjoy it. It's a place I might return to for sushi, but I'll be starting with just one or two rolls next time. Also just a side note, this is the only hibachi restaurant my or I have ever been to that doesn't have exhaust hoods over any of the grills so the smoke and steam from the chefs cooking just fills the entire dining room. Very odd.

Bad service, but great food. There was no handicapped parking by main entrance. Appetizers are not included so beware. They are expensive and barely are given enough of an appetizer for one person, they fill with cabbage to make it look full. We decided on all you can eat sushi. Took almost 30 minutes to get our first rolls then another 30 for the waitress to even come ask if we needed anything. She had taken my menu from my first round of sushi so i was waiting another 30 minutes until i get my next round. Sitting for an hour and a half I had to tell her to bring me a menu and please refill the empty cups that sat there for over 30 minutes. They only had 1 high chair so we were fighting with my toddler the entire meal because she too small to sit at a table and had to be held the entire time. The michelada tasted like clamato with no beer. The rolls and food were beautifully displayed and had amazing flavor. The hibatchi looked fun but since we had to be moved to a booth we could only hear what was going on. The child options are very limited. The food was the only thing i enjoyed here. We arrived at 8pm, now 30 minutes to closing and we barely ate anything. My daughter started throwing up so they let us take the extra roll togo for a fee. Thank you to the floor manager who rung me up and got me out of there quickly. Ny waitress had disappeared once again.

Wasn’t sure if it was gonna be possible to find legit sushi in Santa Rosa, but this spot proved me wrong. Great value, fun/creative/ spicy rolls, AYCE option if you want to go big. Ceviche roll was interesting and also outstanding. Only regret is that there no Uni/ urchin on the menu. Other than that well done guys and cheers!

Really good sushi! No misery! A LOT OF (GOOD) sushi!!! I definitely recommend this place =) The service is really good and they are very fast and friendly! They dance as your music! All the rolls that we took was good and taste, niguiri was perfect! UPDATE: Came back for the second time, the food was pretty good as before, all fresh and tasty. At this time, we had a seat near the sushi chefs, On the last table on the left, it was comfortable but super hot! I guess the air conditioner is not working there, because for some minutes I almost went out to breathe! When we left, outside was much fresh, so I definitely RECOMMEND take a look at that because it broke the dinner. Anyway, I will keep the 5 stars because I still think that this all you can eat sushi is worth, but please take a look and make this area more fresh. Thank you so much, you guys are amazing! Keep the great work =)

Oishii Sushi Bar & Grill offers a mixed dining experience. While some customers found the basic spicy salmon roll to be just okay and felt that it was hastily prepared, others enjoyed the good customer service and delicious sushi rolls. The outdoor seating area in the back provides a pleasant atmosphere for a quick lunch or dinner. Some dishes like the Three Colored Fire Balls and Jalapeno Bombs received mixed reviews, with one being not recommended while the other was suggested.
By far our favorite sushi/all-you-can-eat sushi restaurant in town. The owner and his staff are always so warm and welcoming. Flavors are always balanced, quality and freshness on point.

I’d rate this place a 3.5 almost a 4. I ordered a basic spicy salmon roll for 10.99, it was ok, it didn’t blow my mind and I felt like the roll was very quickly put together (the rice wasn’t fully sticky around the fish) even tho they weren’t that busy when I went in. But the place seemed cleaned, had friendly staff and an outdoor seating area in the back. I’d be back for a quick lunch/dinner but i wouldn’t go out of my way.

Absolutely terrible experience here. We live close by and come here semi frequently so we've come to expect decent quality of food and service. On our most recent visit, we got neither of those. The fish had a strong odor and tasted 'off' compared to what we're used to. We only ate a couple pieces of our all-you-can eat order before calling the staff over and bringing the issue to their attention. They made us sit for 10 minutes before coming back with the bill and telling us we had to pay for the order anyway. We will not be coming back. Food safety, especially when it comes to raw fish, is not something the consumer should have to gamble with.
Alex C — Google review
Customer service was good. The sushi rolls are always good. We tried something new, Three Colored Fire Balls. I don’t recommend them, they tasted like they were made a day before if not a couple days before. We also tried the Jalapeño Bombs those were a little much. The filling is similar to the California roll crab stuffed in a jalapeño then deep fried. I do recommend the sushi.
Irvin — Google review
3 1/2 stars, that was the dining experience. Atmosphere is the major let down, the place lacked character, but it was clean. Outdoor seating was nice but dull and overlooked a roadway. This is what happens when you put in a restaurant in a strip mall kinda area. The food was enjoyable, and its presentation was well done. Service was excellent and not overbearing. Would have been a four star experience if the atmosphere was a little better.

For an all you can eat sushi place i would put them at one of the better ones in town. They don't pack their rolls with rice like the other ones do and it is decently priced! Love their salmon skin hand rolls!

Quick Sushi Santa Rosa is a down-to-earth restaurant with an intimate atmosphere that specializes in Japanese classics. Customers have raved about the delicious and perfectly seasoned food, including seafood udon, poke bowls, special rolls like Hamachi Lovers and Sake Lovers, and tempura shrimp. The freshness and quality of the food exceeded expectations, especially given the reasonable prices. The friendly staff has left a lasting impression on visitors who now consider themselves big fans of this hidden gem.
Quick Sushi is a great spot to have some quick sushi on the go. I have celiac and am very sensitive to allergens and have eaten here with no issue. The staff is very friendly and provide great service. Advice if you are ordering online or on the kiosk and are gluten-free. When entering your name type GLUTEN-FREE before your name and they will put the GF soy sauce in your package. Great tip from the waitress.

Overall I enjoyed my meal and experience at Quick Sushi! It really did come out quick and everything seemed fresh. The staff were very nice too. They make you use a digital ordering screen which I felt fine about until I wanted to order a beer and couldn’t find it on that menu and assumed they didn’t have alcohol, but then realized near the end of my meal that they had all types of cocktails and alcohol options! I would prefer to order with a human because of things like that… but I would definitely come back here.

I went in on a whim and it's a little hole in the wall. The prices are actually really good the basic rolls are between $7 and $9 and the special rolls are around $11 to $15. The fish is fresh and the staff is really nice. I also like the ordering kiosk, I was burnt out after finals and enjoyed not having to speak. The food came out super fast and was a really good rice to fish ratio. The scallops were super buttery and sweet. 10/10 little place. Please support them!

I have been a customer here for about a year now until today. Lucy was super rude and highly unprofessional. I called because my order was incorrect and she did not take accountability for their mistake. She accused me of lying about it and said to send a picture to her number. I sent a picture and video to show her and she continued to deny there was a mistake. I even told her i could bring the food back and she continued to deny there was a mistake. This is not the first time they made a mistake on my order. I do not recommend this place and would never order from here again.

Kamura Sushi is a contemporary sushi restaurant that is popular for its delicious sushi and noodles. The restaurant has a relaxed and modern atmosphere, and the staff is friendly and happy to help. The prices are very reasonable, making it an excellent option for anyone looking for great sushi at a great price.
The freshness and quality of the fish were unmatched—every bite melted made me moan a bit. The chef clearly put a lot of care and skill into their work, and the presentation was beautiful, like edible art. You can see him work his magic in front of your eyes. The menu had a fantastic variety, from classic rolls to creative specials that wowed my taste buds. The service was just as exceptional—friendly, attentive, and very thoughtful. I felt very at ease when I went in and ordered. The ambiance was perfect, with a cozy and stylish vibe that made the whole dining experience even better. The bathroom, tho not very stylish , was very clean. They had a very unique soap that was a surprising delight.

We came here on a Friday night around 6pm. There was a few seated tables and no wait for our family of five. This appears to be a husband and wife shop and probably could use one additional pair of hands. Husband was behind the sushi bar making the rolls and such while the wife takes orders, bus tables, answer phones and serve the food. Have some patience as they can get backed up when it gets busy. The food was good, typical sushi fair. Fish was fresh and presentation was beautiful.

Some of the best sushi I've ever had! My 2 girlfriends and I went at 6pm on a Monday night and had no problem getting a socially distanced outside table. There were 2 other parties dining outside while we were there, but there was plenty of space between us, and the server wore a mask the entire time. We split the garlic edamame, Hamachi sashimi, and 3 rolls: the 49er, the Sebastopol, and the M.D. The Hamachi was delicious and fresh, though I thought it strange that it had thin slices of tomato on top. The garlic edamame was salty and covered in lots of soy and minced, charred garlic. The sushi rolls were all very fresh tasting and stuffed with all the great ingredients, not skimpy at all. They also had a ton of toppings and just the right amount of sauce. We surprised ourselves with how fast we devoured them all, and it was just the perfect amount of food to be full, but not stuffed. The service was extremely fast and our server checked on us often, refilling our waters each time, as it was warm out and we ordered spicy rolls. I just found my new favorite sushi spot in Santa Rosa and will definitely be going back!
