I recently visited Atal Bridge and it was a wonderful experience. The design is very unique and colourful, inspired by the kite festival of Ahmedabad, and it looks even more beautiful in the evening when the lights are on. The place feels peaceful because it is only for pedestrians and cyclists, so you can walk comfortably without traffic noise. The view of the Sabarmati River from the bridge is very refreshing and perfect for photos. It is also clean, well maintained, and safe for families. If you are in Ahmedabad, this is definitely a place worth visiting.

Atal Bridge is a great place to relax after a long day. It’s beautifully designed, and the cool breeze combined with colorful lights really lifts your mood. It feels like the place lights up your mind and soul! The view of the Sabarmati River from the bridge is stunning, especially in the evening. There are small kiosks where you can grab a sandwich or an ice cream, which adds to the charm. Parking is easy, and there are plenty of good eateries right outside, making it a perfect hangout spot for both locals and tourists. Highly recommended for a peaceful evening walk or just to enjoy the vibe of Ahmedabad!

Bridge is looking very beautiful in night time. Too many people are visiting there in weekdays. One beautiful park is there beside this. We have to purchase tickets for both park and Atal bridge. We haven't purchased that. In park toilets are available for both Gents and ladies. One multistoried car parking is there in front of that park. Multiple food shops are available there and price of all items are very costly. We enquired cold cofy( it's cost was 150/- small, 250/- medium) which we felt very costly. Overall ambiance of the place is very good.

Nice place to visit in the evening. Ticket charges 50 Indian Rs. Must go flower park and walk by Sabarmati river front in the evening. You will feel energetic and loved. Higly recommend for couples. Kankaria Lake . Located in Maninagar area of Ahmedabad City. Originally built as Hauz e Qutub in 1451. The circular area around the lake is a promenade with various entertainment options. . A lakefront is developed around it, which has many public attractions such as a zoo, toy train, kids city, tethered balloon ride, water rides, water park, food stalls, and entertainment facilities. The Lakefront is revamped during 2007-08. There are a lot of entertainment activities you can enjoy. There are different stories against the naming of the lake, but whatever it is the name Kankaria is related to Hazrat- i- Shah Alam. Kamala Nehru Zoological Garden or Kankaria Zoo is a prominent place of attraction indeed. You can spend a whole day here as there are lot of activities/amusement available. Kankaria Carnival is an annual week-long cultural festival organised in last week of December since 2008. The festival include art, dance and music performances, social awareness programmes, games and activities for children. Entry Rs.10 per head. Closed on Mondays. Absolutely loved it. The lake is very beautiful and amazing. It has few entry points but not all of them have parking option available. There are so many activities to do in the lake. Lots of food options. Lots of amazing activities. The train is very amazing, it gives you a one round about tour of a lake. In addition with that, it has flower garden, fishes to see and joy to experience.

Its a beautifully designed, with marvellous architecture in Ahmedabad. It is believed that the then queen committed suicide or maybe died and her spirit haunts this place in the night. The architecture is spectacular. Its a stepwell and there is water as well.

They have huge collection of many cars including but not limited to BMW, Rolls royce, Bentley, Mercedes benz, Chevrolet and many more. The property is huge and maintained very well. They have added the information plate in front of each car with make-model, year and country. You will get the details of princely states who were using these cars as well. Worth to explore once.

The bestest museum with a wide variety of vintage cars. There is a seperate entry ticket-only for viewing the cars. If you want to click photos-pay additonal Rs.75 at the ticket counter. As far as I know, the then king owned these cars and its now displayed in the form of museum. A must-visit place.

Riverfront is too long about 7 to 10 km both side of the river. Gardens flower garden. Kids garden are the heart of the Riverfront.

Recently I visited here. Here is my review: - Avoid going on weekend. You will face rush. Most of the people prefer evening time. - Mesmerized by watching its design and structure. Applaudable work by Engineers. - Ticket counter is on the right side of bridge. - Entry ticket fare Rs 50/-. - Well maintained and hygienic spot. - Guards only check tickets, so little bit risky place. - Food court is located just in front of bridge offering wide range of cuisines. - Easily accessible through any corner of Ahmedabad via public transport, cabs or own vehicle. Overall, its a nice place to visit if you are coming to Ahmedabad first time.

Excellent place to visit. It was always on my list to visit this place. There is a ticket counter to see the bridge. You can simply take a walk on the bridge and watch the view. Night view is more beautiful. Stunning and unique bridge very well designed and constructed. There is a separate ticket for flower Park. Would love to visit again.

⭐⭐⭐⭐ The Atal Bridge is a sight to behold! The sheer magnitude of it leaves one in awe, and the unique design adds to its appeal. Perched on this mammoth structure, one gets a breathtaking view of the river that is simply beautiful and captivating. The experience, however, was a bit marred by the inefficiency at the ticket counter. The staff could definitely benefit from some speed and efficiency training. Also, the watchmen and security personnel seemed to be a bit high-handed and could do with some lessons in humility and customer interaction. Despite these minor inconveniences, the overall experience was good. An added bonus is the nearby boating club, which offers another fun activity for visitors. All in all, the Atal Bridge is a must-visit for its grandeur and the gorgeous river view it offers.

Parking is okay and enough Spacious. The only thing is to find out the relevant person, which is somewhat difficult. Few staff are really very nice and cooperative like vyas sir and all team.

I am really thankfull to Kalpeshbhai Chavda and his team for picking up the garbage and cleaning the area near my house at just one oral complaint...i am living in Bodakdev area from last 30 years i have seen this area developing but really the cleanliness now a dayz which AMC is maintaining is just superb... It is very hard to locate Civic Center. The folks in reception are just for show and knows nothing. The Civic center entrance has no sign of operating hours and time of break. Completely unprofessional.

We have a bad experience with AMC called almost 20-25 times.. asked them to take the dog who bites every one passing in the lane. It's been a year the dog has continued biting child, adults to old age people ... Everybody in the lane needs to carry a stick...is that a solution ? Who comes to help ...no one reverts or take care of the dog to make people safe.. Everybody is under constant fear .. please help if can 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏

no one at the reception to take the call. i'm calling to make an appointment and enquire about whom, where and when to meet the concerned official. so that i can avoid running around in the office or not find the officer when there. anyway, corporation office will remain a corporation office. highly unorganized and disappointing. hwy to have a reception when it is not manned. then atleast have an answering machine.

This is AMC old and new buildings combination.from the entry you will see double heighted porch point that building is for MLA, commisioner and their visitors this building is 'C' block building which is quite private. Second is you will see temple from center.and third you will see 'A' block which is heritage cell building and old building,in this building you will have two entry points, from back and from front and third one is type 'B' block building which is civic center and workers of elected wings just like town planing sector,bridge cell secter,this building is longest and remaining space is parking space,there is no public spaces and also there is one canteen for there workers and visitors.

It is a good old bridge connecting Kalupur railway station directly to other side of bridge by avoiding walled city traffic. Presently due to metro work city side of bridge is clumsy , but once it is done it will get the original glory. For academic interest the city side bridge corner you will get old light fittings, computers, old CDs , players etc for the entire week which is normally available only on Sunday at weekly Gujari Bazar.

I visited this place on 17 Feburary 2023 This was used by Mahatma Gandhi during the Dandi March 1930, thereafter he never come back to Gandhi Ashram since he was indulged in freedom fighting against British Government

It's a beautiful and historical place. People can not go on this bridge people can see this bridge from new bridge beside this old bridge. It's very near to sabarmati ashram, If you go to visit sabarmati ashram must visit this place. Walking distance just of 2 min. from sabarmati ashram.

Although it's a historical place, from where Mahatma Gandhi started the salt Satyagrah. I would recommend it as a one time visit place (You can even skip it if you are in hurry).
