Phil Foster Park, located on Singer Island, is a 14.7-acre beach park renowned for its exceptional underwater snorkeling trail and vibrant marine life. The park's Underwater Snorkel Trail attracts divers and snorkelers from all over the world to explore thriving reefs, historic wrecks, sunken sculptures, and diverse marine species.
Me and my husband went here for our anniversary and searching for the best snorkeling spot in Florida and this place absolutely exceeded every expectation. We went 2 days in a row and didn't want to get out of the water. The bridge was also very nice as it gave shade to sit out of the water for a bit. We saw an eel with his grouper buddy, sting rays, a manta ray, angel fish and tons and tons of other fish! This place is a must if you enjoy snorkeling!
Rebecca K — Google review
One of my favorite beaches in Florida. The Snorkel Trail is beyond amazing. Feels like snorkeling in an aquarium. The cover from the bridge is great and having lifeguards is perfect. Can't recommend enough! And parking is free! Showers to rinse off and bathrooms are here as well.
Kaitlin H — Google review
PERFECT place to snorkel and spend a beach day, especially with younger kids. You MUST get there early. Before 9am to get a parking spot, as they are limited. The snorkel trail is great so bring masks, fins and snorkel. The best part is the shade under the overpass compared to any other beach. We saw so much sea life.
Dennis F — Google review
Gets very crowded. I would suggest going early to secure a spot, especially for parking. Overall, a great place to swim and snorkel… very pretty when the conditions are right, be careful of currents, they will wash you away from shore. Currents aren’t always bad, usually pretty calm.
Connie Z — Google review
Phil Foster Park is an absolute gem for anyone who loves snorkeling, diving, or just being near the water. The snorkel trail here is one of the best I’ve experienced—so much marine life packed into a relatively shallow area that’s super easy to access right from shore. I saw tropical fish, starfish, sea urchins, and even a stingray! The water was clearest around high tide, so I definitely recommend timing your visit for then. The artificial reef is well-designed and perfect for beginners and families. The underwater sculptures and variety of sea creatures make it feel like a real-life aquarium. The park itself is clean, has plenty of picnic tables, restrooms, and even a playground for kids. There’s also a boat ramp and a fishing area if you’re into that. Just be warned—parking fills up fast on weekends, so come early or try a weekday if you can. Only minor downside: the area under the bridge can get a little crowded and noisy, and I’ve heard of occasional break-ins in the parking lot, so don’t leave valuables visible in your car. Overall, though, this place is incredible and absolutely worth visiting—especially if you love underwater adventures without needing a boat or expensive gear.
Amarilis V — Google review
its an OK spot to snorkel or shore dive . the water gets crowded but theres plenty of parking . the " reef " " wreck " in the water is placed there . fresh water shower spicket near benches / parking lot .
Frank D — Google review
This is a great place to launch your boat or go snorkeling! This is a very busy location so parking for cars is a challenge. I would recommend coming early to park and come for high tide to go snorkeling. The snorkeling trail is filled with starfish, different types of colorful fish, octopus, sting rays, and many more types of sea life.
Keira G — Google review
Phil Foster Park has a snorkeling area, a boat launch (pay for parking), restrooms, and fishing docks. Parking is free for visitors who aren’t looking to launch boats. The park is alright except for some litter.

Singer Island is a stunning destination in South Florida, offering a seven-mile stretch of pristine shoreline along the Atlantic Ocean. The island features various beautiful beaches, including Singer Island Municipal Beach and Ocean Reef Park with its natural beauty and amenities. Visitors can also take a water taxi from Riviera Beach Marina Village to Peanut Island for more beach fun and recreational activities.
We had an amazing family vacation here! We loved snorkeling, playing in the CLEAR, WARM water. We didn’t want to leave and the kids keep asking when we are going back!

Beautiful water, nice sands that's a little more coarse than most beaches. Close to the port so ship watching is fun. Lots of free beach parking in the area too.

Fantastic! Free parking, a few small shops and restaurants.

The best place in this coast of Florida. Nice beach, good people, West Palm and Juno beach restaurants super close and convenient.
Alex L — Google review
One of my favorite places. So much to do if you appreciate nature. Beautiful walks, tons of marine life at the marina, big beaches, great restaurants, snorkeling, diving, sunning, dancing, drinking, boating, paddle boarding, you can do it all here!
Karen C — Google review
I left four miles of footprints on its seven miles of pristine shoreline. I know the crystal clear waters of the Atlantic will erase it, that's why I'm planning to come back soon.

Stayed at the Hilton Hotel on Singer Island. Beachfront room with great views of the reef and beach. Food and drinks were excellent. A great location!

I have been coming here for 20 years or so and I absolutely love this Beach. When others are full of seaweed this one is not. The water is always crystal clear and there are rocks for snorkeling that are beautiful. Great for Turtle watching too. I highly recommend.

Blue Heron Bridge Scuba is a renowned dive site located in the crystal-clear section of the Intracoastal Waterway. It has been named as one of the best dive sites in the world, offering fantastic snorkeling and diving opportunities. Visitors can board a water taxi at Riviera Beach Marina Village to reach Peanut Island for more underwater exploration. The area is known for its abundant sea life, including sea turtles, tropical fish, sharks, and small shipwrecks.
Google asks you to describe your experience. I can't. My trip feels like a fever dream. The water was perfect, there are all kinds of sea life everywhere you look. The artificial reefs are beautiful and teeming with life. I went with 3 scuba divers and I snorkeled (until next time). We had an absolute blast. But we had to get there from DeLand, FL which is a 3 hour drive because that's the only way you're going to find a parking spot.
Combine_ O — Google review
It was my first dive. We decided to go without a guide since you pretty much just walk into the ocean. It was easy, relaxing, and full of all kinds of fish and aquatic life. Can't wait to go back.
Matthew B — Google review
For those who are looking for a bit of beach without too much sun. Unfortunately, no dogs are allowed. Underwater snorkel trail accessible right from the beach.
Jay P — Google review
THIS PLACE IS NO LONGER LOCATED HERE! SO GET YOUR GEAR BEFORE YOU COME TO THE PARK! However, the phone number does link you to a scuba shop just west of the bridge: Force E Scuba, where you can rent mask and snorkle!👍

Fantastic. You get to see a lot of different species I will definitely come back
Daniel L — Google review
Hands down one of my fav spots to go snorkling , the water is usally very nice as long as you follow the tides .... The water is shallow enough to be able to snorkle . And it is not in open ocean so you feel much safer . And there is a ton of sea life to see along with small ship wrecks
Mr.Midnight — Google review
safe lots of shade and good snorkeling at high tide
Shawn R — Google review
Super easy rental and Incredibly helpful place. Plus the prices were very reasonable for rentals, not so much for the items in the store. There was a problem with one of the rentals and they think they're comping the entire thing which I thought was over and above customer service. We will definitely be back. Plus the beach access was super easy accessible.

Lagoon
Lake Worth Lagoon, also known as BHB or Blue Heron Bridge, is a long and narrow lagoon located near barrier beaches. It features several marinas, parks, walking and bike paths. The southern end of Phil Foster Park in the lagoon offers the popular diving spot called Blue Heron Bridge with shallow waters and an artificial reef that attracts divers from all over.
At high tide, it is like boating in an aquarium. The water is so clear and there is abundant fish, rays, and some manatee. The only downside is the plethora of boats making it challenging to navigate at times.
Mike J — Google review
The vast Lake Worth Lagoon is a wonderful way to spend a day on the water. Kayak, canoe or paddle board to quietly explore the shoreline. Anglers have the ample opportunities to fly fish, cast plugs, troll lures or fish with natural baits around thousands of docks, under several bridges, artificial reefs, channels, over flats and around two inlets. Target species such as shark, tarpon, snook, permit, sea trout, redfish, black drum, Sheepshead, Pompano, mackerel, bluefish, Ladyfish, Jack Creavelle and snapper. There are areas from Boynton Beach to Riviera Beach that offer boat rentals and many waterfront restraunts and parks which open up to the Lagoon.
Captain B — Google review
A beautiful place to relax roll up a big fat one sit in the chair and watch the boats go by
Roy B — Google review
It's marginally pretty, too many drug heads hanging around the area though, so you can't really let your guard down to enjoy anything.
Joseph S — Google review
Lake Worth Lagoon is a valuable urban estuary for The Palm Beaches. Not just because of its appealing charm, this is one incredible habitat. Two permanent, man-made inlets, the Lake Worth Inlet and the South Lake Worth Inlet, make it possible for saltwater to mix with freshwater from canals. This creates a fine environment for marine life to thrive: seagrass, mangroves, sea turtles, oyster reefs, wading birds, crabs, more than 250 fish species, and of course exotic creatures coming in from the ocean.

Peanut Island Park is a stunning 80-acre tropical oasis nestled at the entrance of Lake Worth Inlet, just a quick boat ride from Singer Island. This enchanting destination offers an array of activities for everyone, from swimming in its inviting waters to snorkeling among vibrant coral reefs and marine life. As the largest state park in Southeast Florida, it features sandy beaches along the Loxahatchee River and diverse coastal habitats perfect for hiking, biking, or horseback riding.
This place really is special. In the right spots, it feels like you've left Florida entirely and made your way to the Bahamas! We visited with a group of four (including me). Ferry ride is short and runs often. You get to catch a unique view of the port of palm beach on your ride. Ferry crew are very efficient and keep things ship-shape. Don't forget to tip! Island itself is amazing for snorkeling, saw many tropical fish, a barracuda, and an octopus! Do be wary of strong waves that can push you into the rocks. Main beach is also good for seashells! There is a hidden spot for snorkeling, too; a canal filled with rocks surrounded by mangroves. Visit at high tide for best experience!!! Water will be clearest then. Iguanas are everywhere on the island, as are coconut trees (full of coconuts! Watch your head!) I recommend catching the earliest ferry you can to have a whole day to explore the island. I'd love to return!
Cal O — Google review
“Peanut Island is a true treasure in the West Palm Beach area. 🌴🚤 The water is crystal clear and perfect for swimming or snorkeling, the trails are ideal for walking and discovering quiet spots, and there’s always a relaxed atmosphere that invites you to enjoy time with family or friends. It’s also an excellent place for a picnic or simply to relax while watching the sea. Without a doubt, it’s a destination I highly recommend for an unforgettable day!”
Francisco R — Google review
I recommend if your an outdoor person. We did camping. They have restrooms with showers clean condition. Could use a little update though. No electricity on the camping area you have to go to restrooms for electricity. Beaches are very nice. Warm water, pets are allow. Didn't see much shade close to water, but they do have shade on the picnic areas. NeG: camping they only allow 1 tent per lot, we had an extra one to store our food items and they told us to take down :(((
Jessica L — Google review
Very nice atmosphere and friendly people. The ferry ride to the island is about 5 minutes. Last ride back is 5pm. So get in line at pier a little earlier than that. There are no snacks or refreshments that you can purchase on the island and not always a lifeguard w available. Bring beach shoes if you're going to be extra safe. Saw a few broken shards or wine glass , also the rocks are very sharp, they will cut you. Beautiful scenery. Iguanas everywhere, which is pretty cool to see. If you like fishing, drop a line under the pier. Will definitely come back. Cost about 25 dollars per person for round trip ferry. Paid parking about 10 bucks.
Tom T — Google review
Visited peanut Island, the end of July 2025. There seem to be a lot of construction going on. They were dredging sand off the island and onto a barge. There’s a lot of areas that are decrepit and falling apart. I’ve heard a lot about this island over the years and this was my first visit there. There is a nice sandbar off the island where people were anchored and paddle boarding and canoeing. Half of the showers did not work on the island. There does seem to be a project underway to do some renovation and update some of the structures that are there. I had my own boat so I was able to get there on my own without having to take the water taxi.
Sandra E — Google review
Our group of 7 had a great time. Advice: Bring unbrellas/shade, snorkel gear, paddleboards, food, etc with you. There's nothing on the island as far as concessions. Shuttles run every 15min, ending at 5pm. Pack up no later than 4pm to get on one of those. If you're there after 5pm, it's $100/person charge to bring you back. Get there early, but don't expect clear waters until high tides. There are still places to see fish in lower tides, so not bad.
Robert C — Google review
Love this little piece of heaven. The seaweed was sooo bad on the beach ans it smells horrible so we went back to pnut Island!! You can walk, snorkel, play in the sand collect shells and get a tan!! Pack a cooler, sandwiches and snacks!! Food isn't provided nor drinks!! It's only $20 to and from the island. Get there early and leave around 4:30. Park closes at 5!!
Belinda F — Google review
The place is absolutely beautiful, and we truly enjoyed the stunning scenery. It's a dog-friendly island, which we appreciated, but dogs must be kept on a leash at all times. Unfortunately, we weren’t aware of this rule. The way the staff approached us was unnecessarily rude and confrontational. If they had told us in a respectful and friendly manner, it would have made a big difference in our overall experience.

I just finished my PADI Open Water and Enriched Air certifications with Pura Vida. I’m from Canada and only had the reviews to go by when picking a dive shop. And I got it right. Excellent, knowledgeable staff, great schedule flexibility and great gear selection. Very highly recommended. I’ll be back to upgrade my skills as time allows.
Jason F — Google review
Diving is life in its purest and Pura Vida is the best dive shop in West Palm and Riviera Beach FL. I've been a PADI certified diver for over 30 years. Some of my best dives have been Great Whites in South Africa, Mantas in Kona, and Shark diving in Nassau. But my best shore dive was the Blue Herron bridge with Emma. I spent my summers as a child swimming at this site and Singer island beach. Once I discovered that it was a top shore dive destination, I was eager to explore it...I had a private dive that included pics and vids. Emma was amazing and extremely knowledgeable. She captured this moment for me with stunning imagery. Everyone at the dive shop was super friendly. Be sure to grab gear and merch while there as well, I did.

I’ve used a lot of dive shops and dive operations and boats, and I can honestly say pure. Vida Divers is by far the best I’ve ever used. Extremely professional, helpful and knowledgeable staff. First class retail shop with complete service. I dove with them for four days this past week. Purchased a new BCD and other equipment from them. A dive Masters on the boat. We’re awesome. And the boat was New in spotless. This is the only dive shop that I would recommend in this area. I will definitely be back. Thank you to all as the staff of pure. Read to Divers.

Open Water Diver. Wanted to dive for my birthday but none of my friends are certified, so needed a place good for diving / snorkeling Pura Vida Staff were friendly and helpful on the phone, and suggested Blue Heron Bridge. Advised me on the best time to dive on my trip date for the best visibility. Rented dive gear for myself and wetsuits for my friends from the shop. My dive guide was Mike Szabo. He was a great sport, meeting at the bridge at 5:30 am so we’d have the best visibility in the water. Gave a great rundown of the dive plan before getting in. Mike was very knowledgeable and brought a flashlight to point out marine life hidden between/under rocks. Went out of his way to bring me through spots where I’d see the most, and was patient while I tried out my dive camera for the first time. Fantastic dive, great visibility, saw TONS. Dozens of sea stars, a school of spadefish, spotted moray eels, parrotfish, arrow crabs, spiny lobsters, a juvenile goliath grouper, a scrawled filefish, a southern stingray buried in the sand. Big hermit crabs and a live lightning whelk. Even caught a glimpse of an octopus. This was my 12th dive ever and one of my favorites. Would definitely book with them again!

You can’t ask for a better dive shop. I got my open water certification last summer and have since done my enriched air and advance open water with Pura Vida. The staff in the shop and on the boat are the best. So sweet and knowledgeable! Every dive is a great one, truly can’t say enough good things about this place. 😊
Hilary W — Google review
Fantastic scuba diving experience with Pura Vida. They were obviously concerned about everyone’s safety and then made sure that we had two very fulfilling dives, seeing loggerhead turtles each time. We highly recommend Pura Vida for anyone looking for a great diving experience.

Can’t say enough good things about this outfit! I did 3 charters, bought gear and did my nitrox certification with Pura Vida. Every part of my experience was fantastic! Their staff is excellent whether it’s in the shop or out on the water! Definitely check them out!!
Conor M — Google review
On Friday I completed my Open Water certification at Blue Heron Bridge with my local Pittsburgh-based dive shop, and on Saturday I went out with Pura Vida as a solo diver for my first boat dive. Now, as a complete newbie I can't make comparisons with other operations, but I can say as a complete newbie I couldn't imagine feeling more comfortable, safe, and assisted. The shop staff walked me through the use of the rental equipment, and the boat crew was really helpful and supportive - I appreciated the clear communication about how they do everything, how to stay safe, and what to expect. My private guide, Luca, was extremely helpful and supportive, and even though my very slow descent (which he was really patient about) got us off course on this drift dive, he got me back to the boat safely. And finally, I appreciated that the boat - both divers and crew - was pretty close to a 50/50 gender split, maybe even slightly majority female. Would absolutely dive with them again.

I wish I’d booked my stay elsewhere. The decorations were dated and paint inside and out needs a good freshening. Being from Liechtenstein, much of the place didn’t make sense. “This one guy,” as my daughter said, “with the goofy hair has his picture everywhere!” We finally decided he was the owner, but really, a little too much with all the pictures. We also considered he might have passed, he did look rather old in some of the pics. My daughter had to comment that both his face and hair looked unusual (not her choice of the word, but a milder form), maybe he had a “spray on” face and hair that made him look like he was in a wax museum. Just to entertain our friends back in Liechtenstein, my daughter took a lot of pics of the pics, maybe for a school project. Rude I thought, but her SD card was full. My wife and I don’t play golf and know little about the sport. With Liechtenstein being so small, we had difficulty understanding why all the open meadows weren’t tilled and planted with corn, soybeans and other vegetables. Part of those wasted meadows, with so much grass, could have been fenced with barbed wire in front of tall fences already there. Well, not a terrible trip, we fished in all the little ponds there, but not even a bite. We think it’d be a good home base to simply sleep there, but spend the days exploring the beautiful tropical area. If we return, we’ll likely stay the Del Monte Inn or the Sandcastle Motel. We could have saved hundreds of Swiss francs we could have used to play Put-Put, ride the go carts or even gone deep sea fishing for a day. Sometimes you don’t get what you paid for. We feel we got far, far less than we paid for. We’ll go to South Korea next time.

Exquisite... once in a lifetime experience. Great sea bass lunch and tour coordinated by Marriott Oceania on Singer Island.

Had a 5 star lobster roll for lunch! Best in P.B. Delicious bread, & tasty warm chocolate chip cookies. Lovely smart & attentive waitress from South Africa. Beautiful setting outside with 8 of us at round table.

Excellent club. Exactly what you would expect and so much more. I had the opportunity to attend a lunch as part of a group. The location was incredibly picturesque, the staff above-and-beyond courteous, and the food delightful. I cannot recommend Mar-a-Lago enough.

Force-E Scuba Centers in Riviera Beach, particularly the Blue Heron Bridge area, is renowned for its crystal-clear waters and abundant marine life. It's considered one of the best dive sites globally, with opportunities to spot sea turtles and tropical fish. Visitors can also take a water taxi from Riviera Beach Marina Village to Peanut Island for more snorkeling and diving adventures. The center offers various packages, including the DSD (Discovery Dive) package that counts toward open water certification.
An amazing experience under the Blue Heron Bridge with the King of Scuba, Jeff Nelson, as my guide. So much more than a guide, he offers expertise and advice about buoyancy, equipment, etc. As a very new diver, I appreciate the time he takes to share his knowledge and his patience! He also takes tons of fabulous photos that I will cherish forever! Jeff is also an amazing advocate for the sport of diving and underwater experiences of all kinds - happily answering tourist questions and making suggestions. I hope for many future dives in this area, specifically with Jeff!

My recent night dive at the Blue Heron Bridge, guided by Anna from Force-E, was an absolutely phenomenal experience that exceeded all expectations! As it was my first time diving this particular spot at night, I was a little nervous, but Annas expert professionalism immediately put me at ease. Her dive briefing was incredibly thorough and reassuring. She meticulously covered the dive plan, ensuring everyone understood the route, hand signals, and what to do in case of separation or needing assistance. This clear communication and emphasis on safety made me feel completely comfortable and confident even before we entered the water. Once submerged, Anna truly shone as a guide. Her keen eye and extensive knowledge of the marine life at the Blue Heron Bridge were astounding. She pointed out countless fascinating creatures that I undoubtedly would have missed on my own, including the most adorable little yellow sea hare – a highlight of the dive! We were also treated to incredible sightings of horseshoe crabs, an octopus, a bunch of lobsters, and the largest arrowhead crab I've ever seen! Anna's number one priority was clearly the safety and comfort of the group, and it showed in every aspect of her guidance. She was incredibly attentive and ensured everyone was having a fantastic, secure experience. I could not have asked for a better guide for such an unforgettable night. Anna, and Force-E, provided an unparalleled diving adventure, and I am already looking forward to my next dive with them!

Our son, Peter, just completed his open water dives with the Force-E Riviera Beach company, in West Palm Beach. We can't speak highly enough of how well it went. Nikole is the first name of our son's instructor. Nikole had both an education, and vast experience, that made her an expert diver, instructor, and even an expert at identifying all the beautiful corals and animals that came within range of her sight. She was patient, understanding, and yet also demanded excellence to give the certification, for the student's own safety. Peter, our son, commented that he would not have spotted most of the animals on his own, except possibly for the gigantic loggerhead turtles they encountered! Do book with Force-E at Riviera, West Palm Beach, and ask for Nikole. (just a couple of photos attached, I couldn't load videos as they were not in Google's Photo cloud, but you get the idea ... we have hundreds of photos and videos taken by Peter's instructor, handed over to us at no charge!)

Just driving by and had my 1st stage regulator that the face plate cover was broken on. Scott was super helpful, walked my gear back to the repairman and had it fixed in less than 10 mins and only charged like 12 dollars! I haven’t had that fast of a service and helpful support in a LONG time. Scott even tested it on a tank to ensure operability before I left the store. Thanks Scott and Force-E Scuba for the terrific experience!

TLDR: Great Scuba center for renting gear. Nice local merch. Great Staff, and they cold fill their tanks for maximal fill. Highly Recommend. The story: We rented tanks and weights and a dive buoy from Force-E so we could dive the Blue Heron Bridge. Scott was awesome and saved us from making the mistake of getting to the bridge too late. High slack tide was at 330pm on a Sunday and we were going to pick up gear at 2pm and try to park. We called at noon and Scott said we probably should head in now to make sure we could get our rentals in time to still get a parking space. Thank God for Scott! We found one of the last parking spots and had a fun dive. When my 1st stage started leaking on my 3rd dive, I brought it to Force-E and they provided me a loaner while they serviced mine. Once again, great cutomer service. One thing I learned from watching them fill their tanks and talking to them is that they fill all their tanks in a cold water bath to idealize the fill. I never thought about it before, but it makes perfect sense that you will get a better fill at lower temps, but I guess it's too much hassle to set it up for other shops. I had never seen that before and thought it was a great value-added. Also, shout out to Polly for all the help fixing my 1st stage whe. It decided to leak! The Good: Great staff. good products, nice shop. They never rushed me through anything and were happy to explain the BHB dive site for us. The Bad: nothing The Mediocre: nothing really. Overall: Love the shop and will return for my Scuba needs on my next trip. Two thumbs way up.

Yesterday my Tusa scooter stopped working mid dive. On Sunday, Memorial Day weekend, I stopped by to drop it off. They didn't assume it had to be held for service, so Billy took a quick look at it, and he determined the fuse blew. He swapped it out, and I was on my way home. I really appreciate that a quick diagnosis was done for the simple things before checking it in. I'm my circle of Tusa riding dive buddies, Billy is the go to guy for Tusa maintenance, and now, I know why it's a reputation that's well earned. Billy previously gave me advice on a sticky trigger which also worked. If we're ever hanging out one day, the first round is on me. This shop also is great for fills. They have a reasonable turnaround time and the fills are generous. Also, subscribe to their marketing, they email promos with shop credits and seasonal discounts. If you're a veteran, let them know and take advantage of their veteran discount.

I had the most phenomenal experience with FORCE-E Scuba as I obtained my open water diver certification! John was an amazing instructor who genuinely cared about each diver and really took the time to teach us all about the fundamentals of scuba. Would high recommend to anyone!

I booked two guided dives through Force-E. Patrick was my guide and I simply cannot say enough good things about the experience. Patrick was kind, approachable, and went above and beyond to make sure I enjoyed my dives. It was the off season and midweek, so weather and charter scheduling threw some curve balls. Patrick did everything possible to help get me in the water. He is incredibly safety oriented which is necessary in the sport. I am so happy with the experience and thankful I had such an outstanding guide.
