This place was usually very good but they don’t have good hygienic standards. One time I had the chicken wrap and it was a bit undercooked but then today I received a completely undercooked chicken wrap. They offered to replace it but I was not hungry anymore.

I can’t say enough great things about this restaurant! Let’s start with a single con : the price is pretty darn high; for being a tourist I can imagine it’s tough for most since most countries don’t have a high wage such as Switzerland. We went here on a date visiting Zürich for the first time and wow it was mouth watering and delicious! Personally I’m not a vegetarian but my girlfriend is and I always support her and we have vegetarian days, this meal was full of incredible flavors and actually made me feel pretty decently well. I could have easily eaten a second full plate though for 40 dollars per person per plate(without drinks) I think I’ll leave it as a delicacy. They weight it and I do love this system since it ensures the buffet is being used properly and no food is being wasted. The staff is INCREDIBLE! The cook came out a few times to fill the buffet and he was full of charisma. My girlfriend was super happy to have him compliment her. Our cashier / server was a Filipino man and he was very polite, professional and with a big smile! For the experience it was worth it, it was romantic and delightful

Being vegetarian we had to try this place in Zurich. Oldest Vegeterian restaurant in the world and what unique is serving dishes from different cusines across the world! The people were friendly and very accommodating! Definitely recommend this place if you are in Zurich!

Careful, closing time is at midnight but kitchen closes at 10pm. We arrived just in time before the later. The food came out quickly, and looked immaculate. It also tasted fantastic. My most recent comparison is Yumi, where the noodles were a little more bouncy, but the meat was tougher. Overall a great spot to end the night. Cozy interior. I’ll certainly be back.

Dear Oh My Greek Team, My friend and I visited your restaurant recently because we were curious to try the new Chicken Teriyaki Gyros you are offering. We had exactly 20 minutes left before catching our train, so we thought we had enough time for a quick meal. Unfortunately, the visit turned out to be quite disappointing on several levels. First of all, it took nearly 20 minutes for our food to be prepared. We were not given the round buzzer that usually notifies customers when their food is ready, which left us standing around with empty hands and no way of knowing if or when our order was coming. After around 10 minutes, I went to the counter to ask about our order and was ignored. We waited an additional 5 to 10 minutes before finally receiving the food – but by that time, we had already missed our train. We still tried to make the best of it and sat outside to eat. Unfortunately, the gyros didn’t meet our expectations either. The dish had barely any sauce, which made it quite dry and bland overall. While my friend’s portion was acceptable, the chicken in mine looked concerning. It appeared pink and undercooked, and the texture seemed too soft and glossy to be considered fully cooked. I asked my friend what he thought, and he wasn’t sure either. To be safe, I even uploaded a photo to ChatGPT and received confirmation that the chicken looked undercooked and “borderline safe” at best. I went back inside to show the staff the food and share my concerns. I also wanted to let someone know that we had a very poor service experience overall. I tried to speak calmly and explain the situation, but I was met with a very defensive and almost aggressive response from the person I assume was the manager. He raised his voice, interrupted me repeatedly, and didn’t let me finish a single sentence properly. He even asked me how old I was – which I found completely inappropriate in that context – and tried to “prove” the chicken was fine by eating it in front of me. That’s not what I was asking for; I wasn’t accusing the food of being dangerous, I was simply trying to express that the quality seemed off and the service had not been acceptable. Eventually, I did receive a refund, which I appreciate. However, the way my feedback was received made the experience much worse than it already was. To sum it up: we missed our train, received poor service, the food quality was questionable, and the way the situation was handled by the manager was extremely unprofessional. I’m writing this not to complain for the sake of it, but because I genuinely believe your team should be aware that this kind of customer experience doesn’t reflect well on your brand. Kind regards

Overall good greek "grill" food - we loved the soft zucchini fritters, and the feta in filo pastry, thin pastry and crunchy. Gyros platter was more mixed - while actual meat was tasty, it was cold and the pita nothing special. Fries were exellent - crunchy, well seasoned. Window seats are particularly nice, as a bit more private. Great place for a simple, tasty and reasonably proced mesl wotg friendly service

We ordered the Gyros Club XXL, which cost €36 and could easily serve three people if you’re not extremely hungry. The dish was tasty and satisfying. The staff were very nice and friendly, and we also really enjoyed the restaurant’s vibe and atmosphere.

The thing with this place is that it reminds me of Greece and I’m love of it! But hey beside this is just about the taste of the food the quality of the service! Very recommended!

We went to this Greek restaurant as a family of four and were seated immediately, which was a great start. The staff were very friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The food was absolutely amazing — full of authentic Greek flavors and beautifully presented. The portions were big and satisfying, and everything tasted fresh and homemade. Highly recommended!

After walking by earlier in the day and seeing the full patio I decided to come back for dinner. The patio is definitely the best part. Ordered the trout and the veal. Also got the cheese plate as an appetizer. Cheese plate was the best. The mustard jam (or whatever it was) was perfect. I wish they sold it by the jar. The trout was good. Everything else was not memorable. Service was really slow. The table next to us ordered two minutes before us and finished their meal before our food came out despite having similar dishes. It’s definitely a slow long meal here.

Saturday evening, 4 people, a nice table near Schmiede Wiedikon station. Warm, welcoming vibe, felt like dinner at a friend’s place. Inside mixes chic design with that classic Swiss Beiz feeling, very clean and professionally run. Service was superb and the wine selection is strong. Reasons for 4 instead of 5 stars: the rösti was too dry with a slightly burned top, the risotto was their own interpretation using regular rice, and the meat portion was on the small side. Overall, a charming spot, will be back and can definitely recommend.

One of the most friendly staff. Food are good, they have currently a game menu, I had the reh-hufschnitzel. It was really good! They have also their normal menu but I wanted to try their wild menu. They have also a good choice of small dessert which is really nice because the main dishes are generally huge so we could just have something small and sweet and not feel too full. We will go again this summer to enjoy their terrace!

Great açaí bowls! Authentic and each bowl is lovingly put together. I’ve been here a few times by now and it’s always perfect - feels like a little tropical holiday in the middle of Zurich. It is a small shop though, so be mindful that getting a seat during the lunch hour might not be too easy.

It wasn’t the fanciest place to eat pizza but once inside we had a lot of fun and more than enough good food. The appetizers were priced well and were delicious, especially the sampler platter. The pizzas were big enough for most people to share or the “small” versions were plenty big for one person. Beers and house wine were priced right as well but the best part was the owner and his staff were very attentive and fun with tons of personality.

A fantastic casual trattoria-like experience on the outskirts of Zürich. This place is definitely worth a visit and going out of your way for. Can easily be reached with tram #7. The pasta, homemade tagliatelle with porcini, was delicious and the pizzas were also super tasty. No soggy mess, perfectly crispy and toppings evenly distributed for consistent tasty bites. The pizzas are available with a regular edge or a thin edge. I recommend the regular edge, as the rest of the pizza is a bit thinner!

Their specialty is sausages. When I tried them, I loved them. The only problem was that the bread was EXTREMELY hard (inedible), and the sauce was too spicy. It's traditional food there, but I would never return to this restaurant, and it's very expensive.

We ate at the sit down restaurant style Sternen Grill upstairs, it was probably my favorite meal in Switzerland. The staff was so friendly upon our arrival. They even saw us struggling with the menu and pointed out the QR code we could scan for English. Our server Marcel was so helpful! He helped us choose the best options and making sure what we did and didn’t need. And he was right! Everything was so delicious. Then he offered a Grappa with dessert, which we never had before and loved it!!

It's another restaurant that people say is hard to catch because you need to queue. Actually, the queue is about 10 people long with approximately a 10-minute wait - not very long because the queue moves quickly. After eating, I was quite indifferent - nothing impressive. It's just ordinary sausage, not bad. I ordered three pieces for about 30 CHF. The restaurant is located on the main street and not difficult to find. Whenever I have business in Zurich, I try to make a quick stop here. My favorite spot is the outdoor terrace on the second floor overlooking the bustling Bellevueplatz. Seating is limited; it's first come, first served. The service was always attentive and friendly. Yes, it is fast food but it is delicious and definitely tastier and fresher than any other average fast food option there. Especially appreciated on Sundays when everything is closed and you can just stop for a quick bite in a very central location. The prices are insanely reasonable considering it’s Zurich and the centre of town and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. 🌭 💖

Terrible experience last October 6, 2025 at around 8:30pm. My friend and I paid for our drinks and we decided to just get the drink later on while they prepare our hotdogs. The reason for this is that we don’t want the drinks to be warm after they finished preparing our food. Then the guy working at that time, who appears to be of South American origin, accused us of not paying. This is in front of other customers. The other staff there can confirm that we did pay for our drinks and we were charged for the payment but for some reason he didn’t even confirm with his co-staff. The nerve to embarrass us for just a drink is beyond despicable. Their approach is certainly unprofessional and unacceptable. They definitely did not have the right customer service training on how to verify a transaction based on their point of sale machine if we, did not pay. They will just resort to accusations. I am not recommending this restaurant due to our experience. Terrible treatment of customers. This also reflects on how management trains them. Poor service and customer relations.

A true gem in Zurich - it’s got my golden seal of approval! You owe it to yourself to check it out. Don’t be scared off by the long line at the entrance – the service is so fast that in just 5 minutes, you’ll already be ordering. No joke, this might just be some of the best sausages I’ve ever eaten. We tried both the veal and pork options, and they were both an absolute delight. The bread is magical. It’s super crunchy on the outside and might seem a bit hard at first, but the inside is soft and plays a key role in your overall experience at this restaurant. Watch out for the mustard! It seems like it’s a bit of a local legend. We were warned by our guide that it could be quite spicy, and she wasn’t kidding. You might feel your life flash before your eyes when you try it. It’s definitely not for everyone, but you simply can’t leave without giving it a shot. If I ever return to Zurich, this spot will undoubtedly be one of my first stops.

What an amazing place for a late dinner in Zurich! Absolutely delicious raclette with a cozy and homey vibe and good service. Food came out very quickly when I was there and the prices are very good for Zurich. I could see it being busy during peak hours but I was able to get a table with no wait on a weekday.

Nice unique swiss experience. Raclette is famous to Switzerland, and I figured this would be a good spot for it. They've got a few different options/flavors. I ended up opting to make my own. I did garlic and truffle cheese. Both were delicious. I also added bacon, which was a great choice. The service was very good. I don't know what to say about this place. We were bigger group and needed a bigger table and we didn't have reservation. When asked about a table, staff was annoyed by us a bit. They managed to seat us in the end and took our orders. By the time food was ready one beer was spilled and plates were mixed around by staff in the way that I didn't end up eating what I ordered. I do understand that confusion happens and that there was a lot of orders around but that should be better organized. The place is not that big, but they do not seem to handle it good at that point in time. Also, the food was good and raclette was tasty and just the right texture. I wish that our experience was better regarding staff part.

Amazing place !! Came here for brunch on a Saturday at 14:00 without a reservation. Had to wait around 20/25 min to get seated but it was worth it !! The blueberry pancakes are amazing, not too sweet and the maple syrup is a nice touch. The salmon bagel is also really good !

Came here as we had visited on a previous holiday and loved it. Food wasn't quite as good as I remembered - we had the cheese & meat plate and the chocolate pancakes. With 2 coffees (which weren't super hot) the cost was $50CHF which is pretty pricey for a fairly basic breakfast for 2 people. Service was friendly, received food & coffee pretty quickly and there were nice tables to sit outside on a sunny morning.

Last night, I had dinner at Josef and was absolutely blown away by the quality of the food, the warm hospitality, and the cozy atmosphere. The restaurant was packed on a Saturday evening, so keep in mind that they have two sittings per night. Josef offers a small-plate dining experience, with four dishes recommended per person. Since I’m not a big eater, I opted for two dishes plus a dessert, which was just the right amount for me. I started with the Cured Char with pickled radish and cucumber gazpacho—a beautifully balanced dish with fresh, vibrant flavors. For my main, I had the Flambéed Sturgeon with citrus risotto, smoked beurre blanc, and pickled egg yolk. The risotto was unlike anything I’ve had before—creamy, flavorful, and perfectly executed. My friend ordered the Scallop Tortellini with fennel and crustacean bisque, as well as the Pan-Fried Pike-Perch (Zander) with broccoletti, salicorn, and verjus beurre blanc. She was just as delighted with her choices. Beyond the incredible food, the service was genuinely friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall experience. An excellent dining spot—I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it!

I really liked the atmosphere and concept of this bar-restaurant. The menu is very creative and the dishes very nicely prepared. Particularly liked the pork, deer and salmon trout that were great to share on top. Also the tortellinis and risotto with crab were very tasty. The food was not always as hot as it should be, but definitely a cosy place to spend the evening with friends or good colleagues. Suggested wine (Pinot Noir Graubunden) was very nice too.

excellent dinner we were there with a party of three and had the choice between different small plates like tapas. I definitely recommended to go there after work or with some friends. We had a great time. The server always had an eye on us and as it was warm in the city, we had always enough water to drink.

Another hidden gem in the midst of Zurichs chaos. I was recently taken here by a friend who had been raving about for quite some time. Initially I wasn't convinced but was quickly surprised once I took a look at their menu. Quite modern, great attention to detail and magnificent cooking skills. We truly enjoyed our dinner here and would recommend it to anyone who loves food.

I will never understand why people are upset about prices or the size of dishes at restaurants like this. Josef is super transparent in what they do and what you can expect: either order 3-4 dishes or take the menu and you’ll be satisfied and happy. And yes it costs 100 chf cause the produce is local, fresh, excellent. The wine list is well written, interesting, fairly priced. The staff is genuinely friendly and knowledgeable and will make sure you have a good time, even when the place is full and they are operating at full speed! Can’t wait to be back in Fall and Winter and see what they put on the menu!

First time here and will definitely be back. Super fresh and delicious options, at a good price considering we are in Zurich. Had the Californian roll which was delish, and the Salmon Onigiri which had a lot of filling. Looking forward to trying more of their many options. Also service was very kind.

Worst “Japanese” experience. There are always options to make food taste good and made quick which will be much better Food all precooked, the miso soup they bring barely even warm. Everything tasting bland. The rolls are so huge with mostly rice. Don’t know why so many people here and why they find it acceptable, especially in places like Zurich where people have taste and style

The Sushi experience is great. Alltough i never visited Japan, i imangine This place was very authentic. The Vibe is really cool, the food is Prepared right in the middle of the seating areas. It’s definitely the Ideal place to dive into the World of Sushi. I highly recommend!

We took food from the card None of our plates was good ! It was Definitely not fresh at all and I felt it directly, worst dragon rolls ever ever ! I took the chicken teriyaki ones and my colleague the poke bowl with teriyaki chicken too and we both had the same conclusion. The rice felt as if it’s cooked days and days ago same as the chicken. Starters were ok though..

i stop by every now and then, and the man with the glasses is always patient, friendly, and understanding. i really appreciate his customer service — it truly stands out. my favorite sushi is the spicy shrimp roll, and their spicy shichimi soba is also super delicious. typical zurich prices.

The location the HB is super! There are usually seats available, even during rush hour. The staff is friendly and always smiling. The food is good and if you need a quick lunch they have plenty of options for take out. It's my son's favorite place

It’s okay. It is more of chinese-thai than authentic thai. Cost 23Fr per person for the lunch buffet, small selection but will fill any hungry stomach. Tap water is 2 Fr per liter. Which is the cheapest one we have encountered here in Switzerland.

Fantastic food. Had the won ton soup for starter, and chicken satay skewers with fried rice for main. Both were superb. Restaurant was surprisingly quiet given the quality of food and service. Great spot.

The pho was great on a cold rainy day. The duck was my favorite. Very crispy and flavorful. The chef is Vietnamese so the Vietnamese items were delicious. Didn’t try the other non-Vietnamese items except the chicken skewers which was flavor. They gave generous servings of peanut sauce.

Quite disappointing. The beef was full of gristle and barely edible. The dishes were overly sweet and doused in sauce. The food is a variety of Asian options and not really Thai by the way.

This is a easy 5/5, we came to have dinner without reservation, we got sit immediately and the atmosphere was lovely I would even say great for a date, chill music not too crowded, you can tell this is family business, we got served by a girl, she was super sweet, always making sure that everything was fine, we came for dinner and ordered 2 starters and 2 mains to share, we went for the Vietnamese roll and the Chicken satay in homemade peanut sauce (3 peaces) she brought 4 peaces so that both of us got to eat 2😭❤️‍🩹 isn’t that already the sweetest thing ever!!?? And it was also delicious, if I had to choose one of those two starters I would stick with the satay but the roll was also very fresh, minty and delicious. And the mains…. Wow, we got the pad thai, and the Pho Supe… amazing both of them, the Pho broth… incredible, and the Pad thai had a good amount of big praws and fresh vegetables, also in general terms, we probably would have been full with just 2 mains because they serve generous amounts, at a very reasonable price. The toilets were also very clean and great perfume! I would 100% come back, if I had something to say to improve would be to put sticky rice with mango in the desert menu! 🌸 Very good job guys, congratulations 😊

Absolutely brilliant. Night off from client dinner so we walked around this area and decided on Thach, I had all the veggie options with tofu, summer roll, tom yum soup and a brilliant shechuan curry with noodles that had loads of firm tofu. Oh and must mention Nadine, superb waitress who worked the whole restaurant tirelessly.

The staff is friendly and helpful, the food is delicious (vegan options too), the place is a bit small but that's a plus for me because it's not super noisy. There is both a buffet or a la carte orders, both are great, and don't be afraid to leave hungry if you choose a LA carte, the portions are great! I order from them nearly every month and it's always a hit!

We went to Mythos Greek Restaurant and had an amazing experience! The service was attentive and friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. We ordered two gyros and French fries, and everything exceeded our expectations. The fries were perfectly crispy and tasty, and the meat in the gyros was cooked to perfection. Overall, we highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic and mouth-watering Greek cuisine. 5 stars!

Great food and really big portions. If you love Greek foood you should go there. The interior is simple but nice. Service is fast. The only "negative": its really noisy and sometimes difficult to understand your lunch partners.

It’s probably one of the best ramen places in Zurich, but it may not be the best ramen you’d ever eat.. taste was fine but it could be better, the staffs were so friendly and helpful.. and like most places in Zurich, it was pricey.. Anyway the place was a bit small, so I recommend to reserve a table on their website (may be needed to be guaranteed with a card).. when I wanted to book a table for 7, the website shown me that it was full, only space for 5.. but fortunately, I called them and they told me that they could prepare a table for 7, even though the website only show for 5.

I came here because I was craving ramen and ordered the chicken paitan. For me, the flavor was a bit too mild. It wasn’t quite what I expected, so I was a little disappointed, but the service was wonderful. Both the restroom and the interior of the restaurant were very clean.

The staff was very pleasant. The ramen was good but not great. We ordered the tan tan men and a chicken ramen. The tan tan men was good, but the chicken ramen had a thick broth that tasted like thanksgiving spices.

Went here after a suggestion by friends. I am not disappointed. Had their edamame for appetizer and they were perfectly steamed and perfectly salted. Could not taste much of the horseradish though. Their Shoyu ramen was perfect for a cold and rainy day like today was. Charsiu is tender and flavourful. Lastly, their Yuzu Cheesecake. If you're a slut for yuzu like I am, you will love this. It's very yuzu forward and they use real not lemon as some others do and claim it's yuzu.

I love Yume! It was the first time I dined at this location (I had been to the one near Langstrasse before) and it did not disappoint! Atmosphere is lovely and the staff is super friendly. My Tantanmen was truly delicious!

We get ramen at every city we visit, and coming from an area with the best ramen in America, we have high standards. We loved the ramen here so much we came back two nights in a row. They also have good sake. Make sure to make reservations or else you will have to wait for a spot to open at the bar.

TLDR: pasta is hit or miss, pizza was solid, everything else was mediocre, service was decent but strange. Chianalea was a mixed experience. Some of the dishes impressed, others didn’t. Linguine with clams and mussels was simple and classically delicious. The noodles were cooked al dente. The mollusks were small, but packed with salty, ocean-y flavor that infused the olive oil based sauce nicely. The fungi pizza was also nice; not too much cheese, sweet sauce, and chewy crust. Unfortunately, the second pasta dish (eggplant, red sauce, pecorino) was quite disappointing. The noodles were seriously undercooked for my taste with the ends of the noodles being completely hard. It’s kind of puzzling how staggeringly different the qualities of the two pastas we ordered were. The complimentary bread was unusually hard and dense. Everything else (mixed salad, marinated swordfish, bruschetta) was just satisfactory. The server was friendly and timely for European service standards. However, he forgot to offer us the pizza menu entirely. Only once we noticed tables around us eating pizza did we even know to inquire about a pizza menu. (Though, we probably could have noticed sooner given that pizzeria is in the name 😅). Chianela is a perfectly okay restaurant to go to if you’re in Zurich. Outdoor seating offered a beautiful view of the sun setting, service is a 3/5 by NYC standards, but a 5/5 for European standards, and the food is edible. I might recommend going for the pizzas over the pastas because my suspicion is that those will be a less risky order. Just make sure to ask for the pizza menu!

This is kind of a hidden gem. Not in the best part of town but incredible good Calabrian food. The food is changing every week with fresh ingredients from the market.

It is a very good Indian restaurant, the chicken slices are clean. I mostly liked the butter chicken and the veggie appetizer. The staff are very friendly but slow a little.

Ordered plain rice, chapatti, momo, daal fry and vegetables. The chef is a nepali and the owner also speaks fluent nepali which was homely atmosphere for us. Recommended for nepalese cuisine if you are around technopark zurich

I really liked the curries there, they have 2 chef from India and Nepal. All the Indian famous dishes are Indian style made by Indian chef. So you will not miss the taste of India. I will suggest everyone to go there and have good meal.

Naanu is my favourite indian place in Zürich:) i wished it was open on sumdays... That's the only negative thing I can say about it. At lunch time its always crowded, so better be there before noon. Lots of people go there for lunch but the evening meals are also good...try it!👍

Was here when i with my team were carving for momo , we had momo for lunch , owner best response ( obliviously a Nepali guy how can any one be with bad response ) , perfect Nepali and Indian cuisines, most go for a Nepali if you are near here . kudos to response and thanks for the free drink .

Decent Indian restaurant good for a quick lunch break. Food is good but not exceptional, you stand in queue to order and pay like in a canteen, get your meal on a tray and find yourself a place to seat. Not so cheap for this kind of setup.

You can choose your own ingredients. They have Italian salami and pecorino cheese so I’m happy, and it tastes fantastic!

I absolutely love this place :) I have been there a few times and it never disappointed me. The piadinas are freshly done at the moment, and the ingredients are of very good quality. There is a good variety of both ingredients for the piadina and of drinks. The people are usually very friendly. Recommended for a quick to-go meal, or a simple dinner with friends.

Just delicious! An hour ago I felt really hungry but didn't know what to eat until we came across this piadina bar. I ordered my classic ham, creme cheese and rucola piadina. I guarantee you, you will love it. Try it, you won't regret. My kids were not hungry but enjoyed a cup of ice cream and they really loved it.

I had visited Piadina Bar two years ago just a few weeks before switching to an entirely vegan diet. At the time I had given them a 5-star review and I do stand by what I said in my review back then. If you're a meat eater, then here you can get possibly the very best piadina in Switzerland. On top of that, the customer service is very friendly and efficient, nothing has changed from that perspective. The reason for this 3-star review is the complete lack of vegan options which in (almost) 2022 is just unacceptable in my opinion. Veganism is the future whether businesses like this one like it or not, and having a few vegan options in the menu is a must nowadays. To be fair to them, they did in the end manage to assemble a vegan piada for me which is also why they do deserve some credit on this. However, this place as it stands now is a no-go for a vegan.

Great tasting momos and chai tea - my favourite was the vegetarian momo although I also tried the meat and vegan ones. Only strange thing was that they closed at 2pm which is just after lunchtime for most!

Tenz Momo Lochergut was generally cool. The food was so so and the service very quickly however, the prices are relatively high compared to what you get there. It’s okay if you need somewhere fast but nothing great either way.

Nice place and interior design. Friendly people and good service. Yummy Momos and super spicy and good sauce. 3 items in menu of which all are Momos. Meat, veggy and vegan. Definitely a recommendation. Reservation might be a good idea because it is popular.

Best Momos in Zurich! They have dumplings with beef, vegetarian, vegan and specials. They are all great though and can be mixed when ordered (depending on your diet and preference). A must visit place. Prices are fair and the staff is friendly. The house made sauce is amazing. The house made ice the is also recommended.

I'm usually not very fond of momos with no meat, but these were so amazing! Tried half and half of the spinach and cheese momos and vegetable filling momos and both tasted brilliant! Will definitely visit again!

I can't imagine how this place can get anywhere near the 4+ stars it has... Yes service is good, and they make a great chilly paste accompanying the momos (that's why the 1star), but that's where it's stops. This place serves ONLY Momos, and some salad, so you'd think well, those should be fabulous, going with the reviews posted, but sadly you'll be disappointed especially if you have any idea or benchmark of what real Tibetian or Nepali Momos are... for starters the meat ones have no flavour, barring some garlic, the filling of the veggie ones, also have chickpeas(!) ..And even if you overlook all that, the skin, my God the skin, it's so thick and chewy, that it is seriously sticky. I don't know if we got served a bad batch, but then we ordered a lot as we were a large'ish group, the momos were not succulent, not juicy and yes the meat one was dry as it was overcooked. So without being picky I'd say the worst momos in a place claiming that as their only real dish. The prices though are reasonable by Zurich standard. So now if you're ok to fill up on cheap but inauthentic food...then... But me and my friends would give this a pass, and really question the ratings this place has got!!

Friends Corner is a Sri Lankan restaurant tucked away on Josefstrasse, and it’s one of those places that makes you appreciate how diverse Zurich’s food scene really is. The food here is bold, flavorful, and generous. The portions are big, sometimes even too big, but that’s not really a complaint. It just means you’ll probably leave with leftovers, which is never a bad thing. The dishes are packed with spices and depth, the kind of flavors that stick with you after the meal. It’s not watered down or overly adjusted for a “safe” palate, which I really liked. It feels authentic and hearty, the kind of food that’s made to be shared. The only downside is that the place can get crowded, especially during peak hours, so it’s not always the easiest to find a spot. Still, the energy of the crowd adds to the vibe rather than taking away from it. What I like most about Friends Corner is that it’s a reminder of how global Zurich’s dining options are. You can go from Swiss classics to Sri Lankan curries in the same neighborhood. For anyone who enjoys exploring food from different cultures, this place is a must.

If you are looking for delicious Sri Lankan meal this is an awesome place in Zurich. The string hoppers are fantastic and the masala dosa is absolutely delicious. There is indoor and outdoor seating. Staff are fast pace but friendly enough. Can’t recommend this place enough. We went back twice it was so good. Meals are around 15 CHF depending on what you get.

Great coffee in a cool little chocolate shop. Can see the coffee beams being roasted next door in an open window. Not much of an area to drink there, but can take to go to cool spots near by. Coffee was very good and the service was very friendly.

Many specialty grocery stores exist, but this is your best option if you're into tea, coffee, dried fruits, or chocolates! The store is roughly divided in half. Facing the building, the right half is dedicated mostly to tea and dried goods with a few other items thrown in. The left half sells specialty chocolate bars and coffee. If you're from the states you'll find those chocolate bars and other items surprisingly cheap. It's worth browsing just to see and smell the selection of this classic shopping choice. Staff is helpful and does speak English.

We came across the tee cafe on our walking tour of Zurich old city. After the tour we went back and enjoyed some famous hot chocolate. It is an institution to visit for chocolate lovers !!

Stumbled upon this place during a walk through the old town, and so glad I did. Just glorious; an old-style store with beautiful displays and a wonderful selection of spices, teas, and other specialty items. Beautifully appointed store, too, with some old style furnishings and decorations. I wanted to stand and take 100 photos but tried not to get in the way :)

Love love this place. Delicious teas and hit chocolates, and I'm reliably informed the matches latte is very good too. Lovely staff and excellent cakes. The only drawback is how busy and popular it is, and how few seats there are. But very much worth a visit if you can secure a coveted seat!

Very good and authentic Thai food. It is really delicious and they do offer always several vegetarian options with tofu. I’ve been there several times and it is always satisfying. Today we had the kimchi as well which was super delicious and I can recommend that to you for sure. The service is also very kind. You can eat there but it is more a kind of takeaway. Try it :)

I just went to Chaima and it was fantastic. I had the Sen Phat Nam Prikpau Samunprai (spicy rice noodles with vegetables and tofu) for only 17 CHF! The food was fantastic and you can feel how fresh everything is. No glutamate and everything is freshly made. It was probably the best Thai food I’ve had. The lady is also very nice who’s running the restaurant and she explained a lot about the food. If you are in a hurry it is better to call and preorder because it takes a while till it is cooked and ready.

Chaima take away has been on my list of places to visit for a long time. Today I finally made it. My wife and I both ordered Pad Thai (Tofu and Chicken). Both were absolutely delicious. The menu isn't extensive, but that doesn't matter as that ensures absolute freshness. And you can definitely taste that they only use the freshest ingredients and as everything is prepared to order, be prepared to wait a little. However it I'll gladly wait for good food and this was worth the wait. Thumbs up, we'll be back.

Lemon Grass - lovely decorated restaurant and ambiance. They served us after 9pm as we arrived late and it was good to see that they could accommodate this. I enjoyed the service. I ordered a Thai dish with Jasmin rice and a prawn sauce. The prawns were nice but to my surprise had a bit of batter on them which I didn’t expect. The sauce was sparingly but tasted good not enough to eat with the rice. Overall food was good and I would definitely come back to try some of their other dishes.

Asian food for European; not authentic at all

Bad service. Ordered with Uber. The Uber did not deliver me a bottle of white wine 45 CHF and a coke. I called the restaurant and they told me that it´s not their problem, that I have to complain to Über -I didn´t find the number to complain* So, i Had lose this money and also eat 2 rice with prawns, plus salted Rindfleich and spring roll, with a glass of water. For a total payment was arounf 160 CHF and left a 10 CHF tip for the Über. So very careful when ordering in this restaurant with Über, they do not care at all and stay with the money. Very bad service.

An amazing restaurant in Zurich to have Thai food. We ate thai fried rice and Durian sticky rice as dessert. Thai Iced tea was our drink. Everything is amazing and tasty. Very recommended for everyone who crave for asian food around Zurich. My wife left her bag and one of the staff (Miu, if my memory serve right) waited until midnight wating for us to be back in the restaurant for the bag. And the other staff (his name is Tire) was really helpful when we called him in the middle of the night to ask about the bag.

Loved the fresh herbs that came with the spring rolls which were home made and crisp. They were not the typical mass produced ones. Selected the lunche menu which turned out quite cheap. The items on the menu are much more expensive. Tap water is paid. Overall I loved it!

Great food from various Asian regions. Nice interior if you like huge golden Buddha portraits. Friendly staff, but sometimes only English-speaking (and even being not very proficient at it). Often quite empty, but I can warmly recommend it.

A cozy Lebanese spot serving authentic mezze (hummus, baba ganoush) and grilled meats. Fresh, flavorful, and generous portions. Friendly service, though slightly pricey, specially the mezze. Great for a taste of Lebanon in Zurich.

La Cèdre combines delicious Lebanese food with fair prices — at least by Zurich standards. It’s a cosy spot with a lively, mixed crowd that gives the place a welcoming vibe. The menu offers authentic flavours and generous portions, making it one of the better Lebanese options in town. It’s a small restaurant, though, so booking ahead is definitely a good idea.

The food was delicious but the portions for 4 people were very small. We ordered meze and did not even get Fattouche. The waitress was not having a good day apparently as she was cold and unfriendly. There are many areas to improve to raise this place to higher standards. The red wine was also terrible. Prices were acceptable. Won’t be coming back when we crave Lebanese food.

Yummy place with very nice decorations added very tasty food .. we arrived little early and waited for it to be opened but it was worthy of wait … we took the meet shawarma and the tikka plate and i advise it .. my only note is that fries and rice should be coming with the meal not to be ordered as side dishes as it making it extra expensive

Excellent, absolutely excellent and authentic Chinese food. Suggested by a friend, we came to try for lunch and ordered a classic roasted duck, with a side of seasonal vegetables. As we were eating, they spontaneously offered us to try a delicious and super fresh prawn dish, that came in a divine sauce, and they also offered us a tasty fried rice (I didn’t catch the name but I think it was the bbq pork fried rice). Everything we ate was full with flavour and cooked to perfection. What made it special was the service - they gave us a lovely big table by the window, they were careful but not omnipresent, and they offered us so many things which was such a kind gesture. We will be coming back to try the summer/lunch menu they told us about, which is already available and consists of pork and chicken cooked with ginger sauce and more!

Food was really good. Both authentic and delicate. Some dish are unique. Quantity is average and price a bit high probably due to the Gault&Millau rating. The room is basic and rather small. Also a bit noisy. Overall atmosphere below our expectations.

Excellent Chinese food. A bit pricey, but worth it. Lots of authentic Chinese options, highly recommend. I had the potstickers (guotie) and they were both crispy and juicy. Beef noodle soup was great too. Portion sizes were reasonable (not too much, not too little). If you’re looking for a cheaper restaurant, this might not be the place, but for genuine authentic Chinese (with a simple but good menu), this checks all the boxes.

If I could give this 10 stars, I would. I grew up eating Chinese food, and I completely loved this restaurant. We ordered the Chinese broccoli, pork dumplings, Shanghai scallion noodles, and Dan Dan noodles. All were incredible. Simple dishes but filled with flavour. Reminded me of grandma’s cooking but with something extra special. Service was quick and attentive as well. Would recommend to all friends visiting Zurich.

The food is greath without a doubt. But the communication from the staff could be improved. I ordered a piadina with meat (grand) while a friend ordered a normal one with meat. Nonetheless, we got the same piadina size with the same amount of meat and cheese. I think the staff needs to communicate better, which customer ordered what kind of piadina otherwise food is great

We had Piadine here with prosciutto, it was super good ! We loved it a lot, we’ll come back. There are also some warm dishes that changes everyday! So if you want to eat Italian for lunch, don’t hesitate ! We are sad that it’s not opened a bit later, so that we could grab something for dinner 😂

To be honest i heard so many times that this is the best fried chicken in town but i would still go to KFC and ZFC every day if I had to choose. The best thing was the fries and the homemade ranch. The chicken was super underseasoned and the spicy one wasn’t spicy and it wasn’t crispy anymore.

Went to this place for the first time, but definitely not the last. Great service, the spicy chicken sandwich and honey mustard dressing were the highlight! 2 brothers own this restaurant and they have great service and are really friendly.

I got a box of 6 pieces of friend chicken delivered with Uber Eats. I chose the combo of original fried chicken and fries, I also had their ranch sauce and spicy mayonnaise. The taste was good but not incredible, due to the delivery time the crust was soft. They use chicken breast, and not chicken wings or legs. The fries were normal. The ranch sauce was good, the spicy mayonnaise not my taste at all. I like the packaging, and I will try their spicy chicken wings once they open after corona.

The food at Richie’s Chicken is absolutely immaculate and the atmosphere is great when they’re actually open. Unfortunately, the biggest problem is that they’re almost never open when the website says they are. My friend and I went to the new location to try it, closed. Drove over to the old one, also closed, even though online it said open. Super frustrating because the food itself is worth it, but the unreliable hours make it a hassle

Ok believe it or not I am an expert when it comes to fried chicken 🍗 - Richie's is the new go to place in Zürich. If you ask me they could put some more fuego on that spicy chicken (for Swiss people it seams ok). Staff was cool, location is more take away (but they are having chairs and tables inside and outside) I will go again!

The spicy chicken was more sauce than chicken, and the sauce was too sweet for my taste. The chicken was soaked in sauce, not what I would expect from fried chicken. Also, it‘s too expensive: Chicken 29.- plus 10.- for a drink and fries, 39.- total for a „fast food“ style dinner is too much.

I really really wanted to like this. It was on my wish list for a long time as I grew up eating pies in the UK. I ordered the beef and Guinness pie which was a teensy bit dry inside. The pastry however, was done to perfection. My partner made the mistake of ordering the chicken pie (normally my "goto" choice). Who the heck puts raisins in a chicken pie!!! She couldn't finish, so I tried. To my eternal shame I tried one forkful and left the rest. I know that this is not specifically advertised as a British pie shop but c'mon guys. Try using honest ingredients and lose the berries etc. The young lady behind the counter was a breath of fresh air and smiley as well! :) Prices are a little steep. The shop also has a good range of sauces and condiments etc plus some delicious looking crumble. Maybe I'll try some next time that I'm in the area but I won't make a special journey as I did for this one.

The Place is great if you're really dying for a quick pie or if you're unfamiliar with British Pies in general, otherwise as someone who grew up with great pies in the UK they leave a little something to be desired. They're almost there if you know what I mean. The crust is really excellent and I wouldn't want it any other way, but the filling isn't quite up to snuff. Also the pies are rather expensive and could be a bit bigger if you ask me. The selection of pies is sizeable, I myself have only had the beef and guinnes and pork and apple pies. It's also nice that there's a good variety of crisps and unusual drinks to choose from. The staff are also very friendly. But at the end of the day, if you've got more time I'd recommend going to a pub. But this place definitely scratches the itch.

They simply do really good pies, with quality ingredients and the friendly service you get with it just makes a comfort food all the better.

Crust is so flaky, it'll give your half decent friend a run for their money. I wish I lived in Switzerland so that I could come here to enjoy their pies every week. Served warm, great customer service and always greeted with a smile. What I would do to take a pie home with me! Definitely a must visit if you're in the area. Just come to The Pie Shop. It's worth making the trip even if it's out of your way. No regrets.

The large pie is not much bigger than the regular one but 70% more expensive. The chicken pie itself is not bad. They don't keep outside table clean.

Unfortunately the other 'The pie shop' in Zurich isn't on Google maps, so i will rate this one solely based on my tasting experience because judging the interior of the other place would be unfair on this place. Anyway, to sum it up, the sheppards pie burnt my tongue, and that's when you know its good because you are so impatient to wait and blow on it you instead just take another bite. I really wish they made cornish pasties, then I would feel right at home.

Very disappointing. Open until 8pm... Arrived at 6pm for a beer and some pies. They had none... A Pie Shop with no pies. It's not a difficult thing to keep in stock! Not going to bother with this place again - easier and CHEAPER to make your own!

They brought us cold soggy fries and forgot the mayo. Of course they were nice to offer hot ones after we asked, but it is disappointing for these prices… Burger was ok, nothing exceptional.

The price quality ratio is average: the hamburger has a bit of a thin slide of meat that seems almost fried, the bun is good bread and better than others but the hamburger itself is better at Burger King (personal taste). The fries though are really crispy and good. It is self service but personnel is friendly and kind.

Highly Recommended, I try a Cheeseburger, it was delicious, made with Brioche Bread. The fries are good and soft and to drink Lemonade . The place is recently renovated, is small but ok.

Burgers were delicious and a lot better quality than your average McDonalds/ Burger King. Sooooo many fries 😍 and the ketchup and mayo were free so what more could you want! Extremely overpriced for what it is and service is non existent. Two servers were arguing behind the counter not even acknowledging that someone entered. The third server who then took my order was useless. I wanted a cheeseburger with coleslaw and sweet potato fries. She didn't understand what a coleslaw was I had to explain several times and then it took her ages until she found it and then she forgot the sour cream sauce which is supposed to come with the sweet potato fries. The Burger was ok, the raw onions in there however were too overpowering for my taste, nothing as refined as I would have expected given the price. And nothing I would want to eat again. Definitely not the quality burger I expected and craved. The fries were fine, a bit fatty and unfortunately extremely sad without the sauce and the coleslaw was just one fork full, the package it came in was half empty. So all in all way too expensive for what it was. Very Disappointing. I expected much more! Next time I'll go to Holy Cow again (Great Cheesburgers! but sadly not many sides) or even McDonalds or Burger King. You get more value and definitely better service.

Really disappointed with my experience. I ordered takeout and not only was my drink missing, but they also gave me regular fries instead of the cheese fries I paid for. I messaged them to ask for a refund or at least an acknowledgment—no response at all. While I was waiting, I saw another table complaining because they received the wrong order too, so clearly this isn’t a one-time issue. For the prices they charge, you'd expect at least decent service and correct items. Sadly, I won’t be going back. If you value your money and time, I'd recommend avoiding this place.

It’s a busy place, and clearly loved by the locals. As a visitor, I thought it was really really delicious. Service was fast & friendly! I love how you can customize everything, some of the toppings are a little different from what you would expect from a more traditional Döner spot which I thought was fun. I really enjoyed my time there. Some of my local friends really love it too, and others not so much. But I thought it was great! Can’t wait to come back soon :)

I absolutely love this kebab! You can really taste the high quality of the ingredients, especially the meat. The sauces are super delicious, and the bread is always freshly made and served slightly warm. It’s such a treat. Consistently one of the best kebabs I’ve ever had!

High quality ingredients, fresh baked bread, good meat, great taste. A bit too crowded sometimes and in my opinion a bit overpriced but when I crave kebab I like to come here, nothing can beat ª good kebab that you can eat in Spain but I love that you can add avocado spread to it. I’m never able to finish all because it’s very filling. The trufflemayo that they give with the fries is great too. They work pretty fast but when it’s full, sometimes you don’t get to eat the steak meat. I honestly recommend the chicken kebab.

After a long time i had a delicious fresh Kebap. The secret is the fresh handmade Kebap bread and the crispy meat. I took veal. It's very crispy and it had a special spice. Very delicious. I ordered 150g i wasn't sated and it was expensive. Otherwise the service was good. I recommend 👍🏾

The best European-style kebab I have ever tried, mainly because of their home-made bread. The queue is quite long, up to ~1 hour, but it's totally worth it. This is so far my favourite restaurant in Zürich, even after ignoring price.

The atmosphere of this restaurant is romantic and very relaxing. The food was excellent and prepared perfectly. The only reason for 4 stars overall was the service. Our server was not friendly or attentive. For example, he did not ask if we needed beverage refills and did not come back to our table until several minutes after we finished the meal. All of food came was brought to our table simultaneously (appetizer, salad and pizza). Again, the vibe and were excellent, our server needed improvement.

I tried the pizza & Italian soup, and chicken pasta. The pizza and soup were good and full of flavor. The pasta, however, it was cold and tasted quite simple, but overall it was still a nice experience.

Good Italian food in Zurich. Started with a salami, prosciutto and cheese anti pasto. Came with olives and focaccia. All just as good as it is in Toscana. Also had a “Swiss” pizza with certain local cheeses and mushrooms and a mushroom sauce. The crust was perfectly cooked but a little thin. Wife had arrabbiata which also was just as good as it is in Tuscany. Service was above average and the atmosphere was perfect.

Eating out on the courtyard terrace was nice. Our Italian speaking waiter was very professional and definitely in the right profession as you could see how he enjoyed his work and making the guests feel at home. I had aubergine with cheese that was really delicious. My husband had lasagna that was good too. The red wine was of high quality even if the wine was open (available by glass). Only minus is the high price level but I guess this is a problem everywhere in Switzerland.

After an extensive search online for Italian cuisine in Zurich, we decided to visit Santa Lucia in Marktgasse. On arrival, we were greeted and shown to a lovely spacious area at the back of the restaurant. The space was filled with natural light thanks to the large windows, which added to the relaxed and inviting atmosphere. Our server welcomed us and, after a short wait, took our drinks order. We placed our food order shortly after and our starter arrived not long later. There was a small mix-up with the dish, but the team quickly corrected it and we appreciated the swift response. The foccacia bread we had was very enjoyable and set us up nicely for the rest of the meal. We then received our pizza and pasta dishes, both of which were lovely and full of flavour. Overall, it was a pleasant dining experience in a great location right in the heart of Zurich.

Recommended by a local for good Italian food, this was an absolute delight. If you're in Zurich, you must at least once dine-in here. They're a chain so find one closest to you. It was a lazy Monday afternoon and we went in with expectations, to which they stood high. We're seated at the garden area, beautiful set up. Take a look at the pictures. Lovely staff. Great selection of wines. We ordered pasta, one Frutti di Mare and a Pesto Genovese. Great food, followed by lovely Tiramisu. Some 80 bucks for two, that's a steal. We had a lovely afternoon, thank you!

The contadina pasta (with spaghetti) was very tasty but the quattro staggioni pizza was a disappointment. Overall, service was decent and price was reasonable for the area. I would suggest ordering a second pasta instead of going with a pizza here. The Quattro was too floppy and bare on sauce and toppings.

This is a nice place to shop for food when you are in Zurich and want to save a few pennies. Nice variety of cold and warm food, and wide selection of everything. Don't forget to pick up some local Swiss chocolate at the local rate.

Culinary experience, with flawless service. We chose the tasting menu with premium ingredients. We were not disappointed. A very creative cuisine that delivers balanced flavors and textures. The service was attentive but invisible: quite rare to experience! Giving 4 ⭐️ for the food because (1) the lobster tail was overcooked and (2) some of the rice with the eggplant was a bit mushy.

Probably the best Japanese comfort food in Switzerland! 10/10 recommend - will come again. PS: try the gyoza soup that is available in the omakase menu !

Dinner at Gaijin (omakase gourmand) was quite good! I have been to Japan 9 times for holidays, so it was nice to revisit some flavors (although cuisine at Gaijin is highly "wasternized" imho). Bill was quite high for what it was, but still within reason. I did not appreciate the optional tip at the end. We should be careful not to turn into the US, after which there's no going back and it's us, the consumers, who pay.

Such a unique vibe in Zurich! We stopped for small bites while on a night out and always love places that have those options. Every bite we had was excellent, all shared with a bottle of yuzu Sake.

Fabulous place, and unlike a traditional Gaijin, there are many vegetarian dishes. We had a vegetarian and regular menu, all courses were really good, though it was kind of too much for us, wouldn’t harm to reduce the quantity. We also felt the price is really fair, both for the menu and the wine. Service was ok, little bit unstructured, but very friendly and approachable. I would recommend this restaurant.

Incredible restaurant! we went with some friends and the staff is really amazing, friendly and open mind. We had the omakase menu and was a good experience, however, I would say, as a personal opinion, I prefer to have the opportunity to pick the plates by my self. I recommend the edamame BBQ, it is impressive how they manage to put flavor in something that normally is simple and close to tasteless. Congrats to the chef!

The food was really good. Unfortunately, we had to witness a very disturbing scene between the two men working in the kitchen, one very disrespectfully and loudly insulting the other. Once we intervened the guy became even more aggressive even towards us. When we said this is not ok and not a positive customer experience he said he doesn't care and added "be quiet I am your father!"

Tasty food with very reasonable price. Beef tasted really good and hummus was very fine too. I ate them in the restaurant but maybe I will try take-out next time. For me I had some headache from Sisha smell in the restaurant, so it would have been nicer if the air circulated better in the restaurant.

Literally the best wraps I’ve ever had. The Burger cheese is hands down my favorite but the chicken shawarma was great too! We’re in Zurich from Seattle , Washington. Even though we should totally be trying local cuisine we ate this two nights in a row because it’s THAT GOOD! Very kind staff. 10/10!

The restaurant has been on my radar for a while, so finally took the opportunity to go try it. Was surprised by the extensive menu and the reasonable prices (for Switzerland!) I tried the Jackfruit salad bowl, SO good. Perfectly seasoned, a good portion and loaded with veg. The server was really nice and kind! We did take away and had the food by the river, the interior is a bit dark.

Worst experience ever! This is the third time I've made the mistake and ordered through Smood. Because I thought mistakes can happen, especially on a weekend when there is a lot going on. But it seems like both the employees and the drivers at Smood are completely incompetent. The food either didn't arrive at all or was incomplete and cold! The support is completely incompetent and cannot help. The answer is yes, we're sorry, but there's nothing we can do now. It's a shame when you just don't get any food at all because its Sunday and the stores are also closed by the time your delivery should have arrived. I can't recommend Smood at all!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ordered online on a friday evening. got my food delivered the next day after around 11am... (took rhem over 12h) Texted with an empoye over the chat since the hotline is 1chf/min. He told me i was lying and that i set the delivery date to saturday which was not true. didt get my money back since the food was delivered (i was not even at home, they left it in front the door). I understand that mistake happens but its not okay to blame me for it even though i could disprove everything. i will avoid smood in the future. Didnt get a refund. The restaurant i ordered said they cant do anything and smood is in charge of the mistake... quite annoying and frustrating my order: QAV-7759 maybe the employe that reads this will belive me and accept the fact that their system had a mistake. Still hoping for a refund.

Food ordered (2 burgers with fries) at 18:22 with preferred delivery at 19:30. At 19:25 they send a generic email stating that the delivery was late. I receive my order at 20:25. Needless to say that the food was incredibly cold and barely eatable. Tried to contact the support to ask for a refund but could not get ahold of them. I would definitely not recommend it.

ordered twice here and they messed up both orders. they sent me the wrong food and you only get a voucher, they don't do any refunds. had to contact support multiple times to even receive the right amount of money on that voucher. second order there (because I had to use that voucher...) came 30mins late, without any information for the delay or anything. y'all should take some lessons from uber eats.

Complete incompetence and lack of professionalism or responsibility. My order was cancelled after one hour! Nobody called me to say sorry or try to compensate me. Four days later, I complained to smood and they told me it's the restaurant's fault. Of course. But I can't leave a negative review to the restaurant and of course smood won't do anything to the restaurant who can cancel orders whenever they want. I asked my money back and they didn't give me the money. Instead, they put it back in the app's wallet, so I'd still spend them in the app. This is very unproffesional and wrong. I still want my money back!

Terrible. Do not use. Ordered 1.5hrs ago and still not delivered, status shows delivery driver still making way to various other locations around the city. On top, expensive delivery charge at 9chf for 1.5km distance (only chose to use Smood as the restaurant we wanted to order from did not accept Uber eats). Wanted to call the helpline but found that they charge 1chf/min!! Clearly not there for the customer. Avoid at all cost. (Edit: meal finally arrived, and of course the food is completely cold)

Absolutely horrible experience. After some issues with Smood a few years ago, we gave them another chance. Ordered Tom Kha Gai soup with explicit comment 'no onions' since my wife can't eat them. Got email at 17:50 that order was all ready and being delivered. Got a call 25 mins later from a lady telling us that the restaurant made all soup with onions and it was not possible to remove them. I asked why this was not communicated to us in first place, before they prepared the food. She kept repeating the same statement. Interestingly she also admitted that the order had not been delivered yet by the restaurant. We asked for alternatives but she said she had to clarify first and get back to us later. Since we were hungry we gave in, accepting the order as is. I will never ever order from them again. Unfriendly, not on top of their processes and obviously never learned what customer focus is.

Chill vegan high-protein restaurant at the balboa gym. Relaxed, with quite a few options, all for in-house consumption or take-away. They are quite slow but you can pre-order. The balboa power shake is incredible

I was looking for a vegan restaurant and was excited to try Roots. Very relaxed atmosphere, find a seat and order at the bar. The place was full of fit young people and when I went to the restroom downstairs I found myself in a gym with a crossfit workout happening. The floor in the restaurant also has a glass floor to watch workouts. Food was excellent, lots of yummy stuff, tofu, sweet potato, avocado and quinoa. As a 50 year old Brit it was quite inspiring. I wish we had places like this in England.

A nice lunch with really reasonable prices! The lunch special had a pizza with salami and great prices. The pizza was excellent! There were a lot of good options with the daily special and on the regular menu. The service was kind and communicated easily. The inside was air conditioned.

Had the Con Gusto pizza and we can’t stop talking about it days later. It was delicious. Already looking forward to going back. The Gemischter salad was great too.

The best place for falafel. So crispy and fluffy, cannot recommend it enough! It is a bit tough to find, and there's no seating places, but for a quick lunch, it's perfect.

Delicious mezzes served in beautiful bowls and containers. Very easy to order and plan the delivery and pickup. Very attentive to dietary restrictions and flexible to adapt the usual set of mezzes in consequence. Had a wonderful hassle-free evening and all guests enjoyed the food.

This is a very well hidden gem. You really have to search the area to find the entrance. But once you're there, it's worth it. The food is great. The red pepper sauce is fantastic. The falafel is crisp and flavorful. The chicken is tender. The Hummus is great. Overall - very good.

As always! It's the best. I'm not a fan of chicken breast coz it's too dry for me and it's not very tasty, their chicken changed everything. I tried it from my husband's plate. I had my usual lamb teller.

Have ordered from here over eat.ch many times. The quantity is amazing. You can order for small or normal size of portion. Small is filling enough for one person. The price is really really good for the quantity as well as the taste. The Arrabbiata is a bit spicy and if you like spicy food. My favorite is the salmon pasta.

Come here to enjoy a great variety of very affordable fresh pasta with delicious sauces that have been cooked for hours. And make sure to try the real italian espresso as well. Maybe not the greatest interior design and rather small with a small number of seats but the delicious food and friendly staff make up for that. We keep coming back for more.

While the interior is nothing special, this take-away place is a bit of a pro tip for people wanting to eat in Zürich. Their pasta is amazing and the service is creative with the concept of it. Attached to Pasta Station, there's Grill Station where the best steak sandwich of the city can be bought. Prices are reasonable and the staff is amazingly friendly.

Great stop for a quick and delicious pasta. A small portion is more than enough for me, it fills a big plate. Probably not the healthiest cooking - they cook with lots of oil and cream 😉

A good place for a quick and delicious pasta. During lunch it is almost full, but most of the people take takeaway. I am only onece a week in Zürich, and this is the place where I eat lunch in those days

Very nice pasta. We reached the joint at the closing time but also they graciously welcomed us and prepared the best pasta according to our taste. A must try for all.
