French restaurant
The Refectory Restaurant offers an upscale dining experience with a focus on classic French cuisine and an extensive wine selection. Housed in a former church, the restaurant boasts soaring ceilings and stained-glass windows, creating a unique and elegant atmosphere. With over 40 years of history, it has received numerous awards for its exceptional food and service, making it one of the best places to dine in Columbus.
Dinner at this restaurant was a fantastic experience. From the start, our waitress, Michelle, was awesome. She was extremely professional yet down to earth, easy to talk to, and always made sure we were taken care of all the way down to even replacing my girlfriends wine glass without prompt because “it wasn’t polished to her liking”. The food was fantastic, presented beautifully, cooked perfectly, and seasoned in a way in which it’s impossible to imagine it being prepared any better. The wine pairing was fantastic, the gentleman that brought out the wines gave brief yet informative descriptions of each wine before pouring. We ended up buying 2 bottles to take home with us. The experience overall was the best we’ve ever had at any restaurant. Private, intimate, romantic, upscale and overall relaxing and enjoyable. We will be back soon.

I came here to celebrate my birthday, and The Refectory did not disappoint. Every plate was beautifully presented and full of flavor—elegant without being fussy. The bisque was rich, the ratatouille vibrant, and the sea bass absolutely perfect. They even brought out a personalized dessert with a candle—small gesture, big impact. Service was thoughtful, the ambiance felt special, and the night was unforgettable. Definitely recommend for a celebration or a quiet, elevated night out.

We immensely enjoyed our time here! Days later, our party of five is still talking about the wonderful meal we each had and how wonderful the evening was at the Refractory. Just look: Each course was beautifully displayed and delicious! I’m now a fan of French cuisine! Our waitstaff, Dom, could not have been more excellent and we would request him next time!

Celebrated my 40th birthday at The Refectory and it was exceptional. I had the tasting menu and every course was thoughtful, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. The service was warm, attentive, and elevated without being stuffy. Such a special place. It’s was elegant, intimate, and perfect for a milestone celebration. Highly recommend!

Celebrated my wife’s birthday with the French Country Dinner and Wine Pairing. Chef prepared an exquisite menu and the wines were fantastic. Our waiter, Alex, and the entire staff were great! Highly recommend visiting The Refectory!

Best fine dining experience in columbus by far! For context we've been to Cameron Mitchell and the like Service: excellent, waiting on Ur every move. Changing napkins to match Ur attire if needed. Food: in the french style. Conceptually well put together for excellent synergy. Venue: great for celebrations! Vibe is very cosy, dark, welcoming. Elegant. If Ur looking for a home dining experience scale up to fine this is the place

It was our first time there. Celebrated a birthday. They had a personalized birthday card ready at the table. The food was delicious! The service was friendly and easy! Definitely recommend. A bit on the pricey side, but absolutely worth it.

One of the most beautiful and amazing restaurants I've been to in Columbus. The food was amazing, John was an amazing waiter, made our night extra special and Jim added to it as well. Kamal was so so welcoming and made sure our special dinner felt special. Thank you so much for the extra details as well! We will most definitely be back

Brewery
Wolf's Ridge Brewing is a prominent addition to the Columbus brewery scene, established in 2013 by Alan and Bob Szuter. This brewery offers an elevated American eatery with a substantial beer menu. It has gained recognition as a premier drinking and dining destination in the capital city. One of its notable offerings is the nationally-recognized Daybreak, a custom cream ale infused with Columbus' own One Line Coffee and Madagascar vanilla. Wolf's Ridge Brewing is part of BrewPigeon.
My family and I had a wonderful brunch experience at Wolf's Ridge this past Saturday. We had made reservations, which I highly recommend, as it seemed to be a popular spot. We were seated promptly and the food arrived surprisingly fast, which was a huge plus with our two little ones. They absolutely devoured the pancakes and fruit bowl – a definite kid-pleaser! My WRB Benny's were absolutely delicious, perfectly cooked and flavorful. My wife thoroughly enjoyed her meal, "Toad in the Hole,". Our waitress was attentive and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed. Overall, it was a fantastic brunch and we'll definitely be back!

Went to the tap room on a warm Sunday afternoon, and it was pretty quiet. I had never had their beer before at all, and the service was great giving me recommendations and offering samples. Service was fantastic, the beer was lovely, and I enjoyed the urban but quiet vibe outside. The patio is on an alley, so there’s not a lot of cars or commotion. Lovely.

Delicious food. Shout out to Atticus for outstanding service! Recommend the Brussels sprouts, Daybreak (Beer)- beer flight, and Cod (Special). Easy to make a reservation online, recommend to do so. They are popular and can get busy quickly.

We booked the Hickory Room at Wolf's Ridge Brewing for our wedding rehearsal dinner and welcome party and it was one of the best wedding decisions we made. The room was beautiful and their service was great! Their staff leading up to the event were very organized and communicative and the food for both our rehearsal dinner and welcome party was excellent. We had at least 75 people in there at some points and the space felt comfortable. We had a great experience with Wolf's Ridge and would recommend it for anyone looking for a rehearsal dinner, welcome party, or other event venue.

Every time I've dined at Wolf's Ridge, it has been outstanding. This latest time was no exception. We stopped in for brunch. I had the Loaded Tots. My fiance had the Toad in the Hole. We loved it all. Our server was Lexi (I hope I got that correct). She was very friendly, attentive, and provided useful recommendations for both in-house and around Columbus.

Fairly solid beer, I definitely enjoyed the Daybreak Cream Ale (one of their most popular beers). The building was honestly a bit warm and I'm not sure if they had any air conditioning on a very hot day. In any case, still a fun spot to check out.

Such an amazing brunch! My server, Atticus, was super attentive and friendly. And the food was delicious! They source a lot of their ingredients locally, and you can tell! I had the omelet with salad and it was perfect. The bloody mary was great, too. It's a very underrated brunch, go check it out!

A lively space where you can still hear the conversation at your table we enjoyed their beers with everyone in our party of 5 ordering something different. We shared small plates to start. Our favourites are the chopped salad and waffle fries. Sandwiches are tasty. The local duck was delicious and perfectly cooked accompanied by a very spicy sauce and carrots. It could have used something green and possibly some potatoes or rice. The fresh walleye special was perfectly cooked with a melange of summer squash and zucchini in a flavourful peppadew sauce, and tender baby potatoes. Did you sleep OK? I’m sorry you like your fruit is ours. I would’ve guessed they were the same just asking well you only have one more night not bad my goodness. We ended the evening with their chocolate mousse with its citrusy coconut foam/cream.

Steak house
Restaurant
The Top Steak House is a classic Columbus institution that has been serving up top-quality steaks and seafood since 1955. The restaurant offers a clubby setting with live piano music, featuring a lineup of talented pianists throughout the week. Known for its charbroiled steaks, jumbo lobster tails, and slowly roasted ribs, this iconic steakhouse highlights local ingredients and Ohio flavors in its menu.
Bethany was totally on point. Everything was timed perfectly. No rush. Everything was fantastic. It’s 2025 and prices were in line with service and atmosphere. The exception was the lobster tail. A bit pricey even in today’s market. On the other hand the cocktails had generous portions and were quite reasonable. The escargot was really tasty. Not smothered in so much garlic you couldn’t taste the dish. Prime rib done to perfection. Scallops again done right.
Dan C — Google review
We had an incredible evening at The Top Steakhouse. From the moment we sat down, our waitress Cher went above and beyond—her service was friendly, attentive, and truly made the night special. The porterhouse steak was absolutely phenomenal—perfectly cooked, tender, and bursting with flavor. We ended the meal with the cheesecake, which was rich, creamy, and the perfect finish. We chose to sit out on the patio, and it was such a lovely atmosphere—relaxed, comfortable, and perfect for enjoying such a memorable meal. Without a doubt, The Top Steakhouse lives up to its reputation. We can’t wait to come back!

Went here for my birthday dinner and had an amazing experience. When you first pull up, the outside doesn’t exactly scream “fine dining,” but as soon as you walk in, it’s like stepping into a completely different world, something straight out of the 1950s. The ambiance is warm, nostalgic, and full of character. We walked through the restaurant and passed by three unique bar areas; one being a piano bar, another inside (can’t remember the name), and the third, where we sat, was the patio bar. The patio had such a relaxed, inviting vibe, it felt like a little hidden gem. The food? Absolutely incredible. Every bite was spot on. But what really made the night stand out was the service, friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect from start to finish. I was beyond impressed with every aspect of this place and can’t wait to come back. Easily one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in the Columbus area.

My partner and I went to The Top Steakhouse to celebrate our anniversary, and it was nothing short of a memorable experience. The atmosphere, live music, service — and the FOOD? Incredible. From the appetizer to the entrée, everything was absolutely delicious. My partner ordered the surf and turf with the porterhouse, and I had the ribeye — juicy, flavorful, and hot! The lobster tail was perfectly seasoned with a mix of sweet and savory. Kevin, our waiter, was wonderfully attentive and informative about our options, even surprising us with a sweet treat to celebrate our special occasion. 1000/10 — we’ll definitely be back!
Bree B — Google review
Went to check out to see what all the buzz was about. Can definitely say it has quite the nice atmosphere. Love pianist by the bar inside and a very comfortable shaded patio outside. Quickly got a table and the portions on all the food was very generous. Had enough leftovers for another meal later. Onion rings were biggest I've even seen and had a perfect crunch to them. The steak was very thick and the truffle butter was very flavorful. Concerns were twofold. Firstly the staffing was a bit shorthanded, they only had one waiter for the entire outdoor patio, so wait times were a bit longer than expected. However. The server was very knowledgeable and friendly when he was at the table so that definitely helped. Second is that the steak was cooked incorrectly at first. The waiter confirmed I asked for medium rare but it was brought out blue rare. He apologized and said it was a known issue with the ticketing system, which was a bit of a letdown they didn't take particular care to avoid this happening. The table next to me also had the same issue. He did get it cooked correctly and comped me a desert for the trouble so he did the best he could with a bad situation.
Daniel V — Google review
Beautiful restaurant and Beautiful staff! Lovely throwback vibe! The food was absolutely Superb! Wait staff was 5star attentive and respected our table conversation while still being friendly. I give the chef my Huge complements! Everything from the salad to the steak and seasonal sides were Right on Point!!! Prices VERY reasonable for great quality! we made reservations can’t wait to go back next time I’m in Columbus

The place was very good. It over exceeded my expectations. The French Onion Soup was amazing along with the Cesar Salad. The ribeye was cooked perfectly. Service was over the top and would recommend to everyone to try this amazing place.
Brian C — Google review
I've enjoyed the Top Steakhouse restaurant for years, but my wife is relatively new to the whole experience. Our cocktails were delicious and the New York Strip steaks were served exactly as requested, and were seasoned perfectly. And, as always, the service was on point! After we wrapped up our meal last night, she commented in the car that she understood why I love the restaurant so much. Last night was a special occasion, but we won't be waiting until a special occasion to be back! It was a memorable evening!

Indian restaurant
Indian Oven is an award-winning restaurant that offers a mix of traditional and modern Indian cuisine in an industrial setting with a full bar. The menu features Northern Indian recipes, including Tandoori, Biryani, meat, seafood, and vegetarian specialties. With options for vegans and vegetarians, the restaurant provides an exciting dining experience for everyone.
Such a beautiful restaurant. With the most kind people. Waiter explained the menu options to us without making anyone feel uncomfortable. The food was very tasty .. not spicy at all (but have the option for more spice if you’d like) ♥️ my favorite was the salad and the atmosphere. Along with our main course meal.

My favorite Indian so far. My butter chicken was so very good! They cut chicken to small cube very easy to eat and so soft. I felt that it would never be enough for me. Also the portion was pretty big, I had some left for another meal and taste as good as the same day at the restaurant. I really like the presentation as well, how they served rice was so cool. I really wanted to buy their dishes and use it at home too :D Service was nice, our server was very polite.

A Memorable 50th Anniversary Celebration at India Oven! We recently celebrated my parents’ 50th anniversary at India Oven in Columbus, and it was truly an unforgettable experience. From the moment we walked in, the warm ambiance and attentive service made us feel welcomed — but what truly stood out was Akhil. He went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect for the celebration. From helping us plan the setup to checking in throughout the evening, his hospitality and kindness meant so much to our family. The vegetarian food was absolutely delicious — rich in flavor, beautifully presented, and served fresh. Every dish we tried, from the paneer tikka to the dal makhani and garlic naan, was full of authentic taste and made with care. The staff was courteous, and the entire experience felt thoughtful and celebratory. Thank you, India Oven and especially Akhil, for making this milestone event so special for my parents and our family. We’ll be talking about this dinner for years to come!

Biriyani: An authentic biriyani shouldn’t have vegetables in it..they served NonVeg Pulao in the name of Biriyani. the taste wasn’t bad but can be better. PLZ AVOID POTATOES!! Chaats: So we ordered Paani puri and samosa chat I have never had the paani served with the puri this cold. Request you guys to please serve the paani at a normal temperature or warm. The samosa chat was okaish but can’t compare to the original taste . Overall this is a decent restaurant with decent service The lassi was tasty and was really good
Sachit P — Google review
I want to give no star to the restaurant. We were there for dine in and it was worst experience. The naans were cold and not fresh. They were not crispy. I think naans were cooked and were sitting before served. They were serving others (non Indians) fresh and crispy naan. Highly racist. If you are looking for Indian food, I would highly recommend Haveli Bistro. We had amazing time and food there. Great environment, experience, and food.
Hemendra K — Google review
This was some top notch cuisine. I thoroughly enjoyed my chicken khadai. Fresh, and cooked well, and was served HOT. We did not have to wait long for our dinner to be served. Medium spice gave it a good kick. Not all places can do garlic naan well, this location does. My co-worker enjoyed his dinner as well. This restaurant was a recommendation by my brother, and a good choice it was. If in the Columbus area and looking for excellent Indian food, you should try here. You should be pleased as I was.
Tim P — Google review
Ordered from this Indian spot on UberEats — was very impressed with the flavor! The samosas were wonderful and both the green and tamarind chutneys were flavorful (sometimes the green chutney can be a bit bland at other places). The palak paneer with garlic tandoori naan hit the spot and I thought the “hot” level was not too aggressive but had a nice kick. Will definitely eat here again!

The Lox Bagel Shop in Columbus offers a unique blend of New York and Montreal bagel styles, with hand-rolled, boiled, and fire-baked options. Their crispy-chewy bagels come in various flavors and are topped with spreads like beet and thyme cream cheese. The cafe also serves savory breakfast sandwiches such as the pastrami, egg, and cheese on crispy fried potato wedges or the namesake Lox sandwich with zesty capers and crisp onion.
Wow, Lox Bagels… you’ve truly blown me away! I just experienced the most incredible breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting. I got the Southwest with bacon on a salt and herb bagel, complemented perfectly by a refreshing blueberry mint lemonade. The bagel was nothing short of perfection, crispy on the outside, warm and chewy on the inside. The herbs went beautifully with the kick of the poblanos. When I return to Columbus, I will definitely be coming back for more. You’ve set a new standard in breakfast sandwich greatness. 10/10 absolutely, without a doubt, would recommend!
Aislinn R — Google review
Love this place so much! The bagels are incredible, very New York style, chewy, amazing flavor and texture. Tons of sandwich options, or just get a bagel and cream cheese: plenty of different flavors! Also…. oh my god, the fried potato. This might be my favorite bite of food in the city. Get a side of egg sauce! Great vibe also: very laid back, clean, and super kind staff. Angling to become a regular.

My husband and I went to Lox on a Saturday morning! Wow was it packed! The place is such an adorable and quant restaurant It had plenty of seating inside and an adorable patio outside. We both ordered the lox bagel. Mine on sea salt and his on sesame! OH MY GOSH…. These bagels were to die for. They make the bagels right there in the shop. They’re super super fresh and the sandwiches were amazing. Don’t get me started on the service. Their team there was above top notch! I can’t say enough about how exceptional our breakfast was!

Went in around 10:30 am on a Saturday in August and only waited ~3 minutes to order! What a surprise! We were prepared to wait for a few extra minutes. We ordered the egg and cheese (with sausage) on a salt and herb bagel. The bagel was so delicious. It was crisp on the outside, soft on the inside. It had large flakes of salt on it and the herbs were not over powering (love). We also ordered an everything bagel with lox (added egg). Also very delicious. We will be coming back tomorrow! It was about $30 for two bagels adding protein to each bagel.

Stopped in after searching for good bagels in Columbus. Chatted with the owner a little on social media and was super excited to stop in. At arrive I noticed the line was of length which is usually a good sign. I ordered the sea salt and herb bagel with chive cream cheese, generous on the cream cheese. As well as the potatoes as were recommended by the owner. The bagel itself was delicious. Good crunch to chewy fluff ration good flavor. The bagel itself solid. Personally they were not generous with the cream cheese as requested and honestly even short changed in the amount for a normal bagel. For the cost I’d expect they would give you an amount cream cheese that was fair. As for the recommended crispy potatoes… well they missed the mark. Light airy fry on them but completely flat on flavor. Zero seasoning and salt. Which with the bagel being well seasoned I was at a shock. I had to go to the counter and request salt to Sprinkle over the potatoes to make them Even semi worth it. If properly seasoned they are probably delicious but what I received 100% missed the mark and after being an owner recommendation thats worry some.

Cute bagel moment in cbus. They are a bit on the smaller side and prepare for a line. There were plenty of tables open, though! I thought the sea salt and herb bagel was an interesting blend and I’m glad I tried it. Very appreciative of the vegan cashew spread as well!
Ella H — Google review
I got the lox with egg on an everything bagel. The bagel, spicy chive cream cheese and egg were of excellent quality. The letdown was the lox itself. It wasn’t fresh at all and had a strong odour. I’ve eaten lox my whole life and I understand there is a smokey fishy taste but this was not tbat. It just wasn’t fresh and had that old fish odour. I had to take it out to enjoy the rest of my bagel. I also ordered the house made Blueberry Mint Lemonade and it was delicious. Id come back for the egg and cheese bagels next time.
Aisha H — Google review
We tried this spot for the first time on Saturday morning and the egg & cheese bagels were just okay. Honestly, we’ve had better bagels in Columbus. The wait was insane and may be normal for any Short North restaurant/cafe —about 20 minutes in line to order, plus another 20 minutes to finally get our food. Parking can be tricky; you might get lucky finding a free parking spot in their parking lot otherwise there’s paid street parking available. Limited seating tables and chairs. The employees were kind enough to bring orders out to customers. Tip: place your order online (about 25–30 minute normal wait) so it’s ready when you arrive.

Chinese restaurant
Jiu Thai Asian Cafe may have a misleading name, but it's actually a fantastic Chinese restaurant that specializes in the cuisine of Shaanxi, a province in Northwest/North-central China. The menu features fiery and flavorful dishes like Biang Biang noodles and Xi'an steamed cold noodles, both made with scratch-made noodles and packed with bold flavors. In addition to barbecue skewers, the restaurant's hand-pulled noodles are a standout offering.
Very much authentic northwest Chinese cuisine: noodle specialties! And many more other dishes: most of them are marked as spicy, but chef can accommodate the mild or non-spicy request for most of them. Service is great, too!

LOVE this place. I've been going to it on and off for years. It had been a while since I'd visited, so decided to with my mother. The decor was updated--looks GREAT. I was concerned my favorite dish (Tiger Tofu) would either be off the menu, or possibly "adjusted" by new chefs. Nope! It tasted just as amazing as day one/my first time having it. By far THE best tofu dish I've ever had, and I've tried a gazillion. Their hot and sour soup is great, too, although I personally prefer more "kick". They do give you a large bowl of it, though. My mother ordered the chicken-n-broccoli. Was very fresh and tasty, although she did say the chicken seemed fattier than prior visits. (One suggestion: Include knives with the cutlery; my mom likes to cut her broccoli into smaller pieces.) Regardless, the overall experience was great, and I'll visit again, of course.

This is such an inviting resturant with some really good food. They have a good variety of traditional and “Americanized” favorites. We ordered the Tiger tofu & the chicken pad Thai during lunch which came out quickly, pipping hot and delicious. Both dishes were so savory and all the ingredients were really fresh. The tofu was the crispiest tofu I’ve had in Columbus while still being smothered in that umami sauce. The service was excellent, they were very attentive. I definitely recommend going during lunch. Their specials were so well priced with very generous portions. I cannot wait to go back and get the hand pulled noodles that everyone raves about and piece of that amazing looking crepe cake!

Awesome Chinese Noodles and BBQ spot. Food was excellent! Everything we ordered was delicious. 😋 Great service and atmosphere. Love this place. ❤

The Bigguy noodle soup with roast pork was so amazing, delicious, and really big! I loved the broth and hand stretched Chinese noodles. Next time I want to try this with tofu skin. The food is authentic, you can't get these flavors at just any place - and they are so good! We also had the lamb dumplings, lamb sandwich, fish tofu skewers, chicken vegetable soup with hand stretched noodles, Mando crepe cake and macarons. Also had tiger tofu stir fry and chicken with general tso sauce. All delicious.

Got takeout, it was a generous portion and really tasty. Picture doesn’t do it justice sorry haha Peanuts on the side so they don’t get soggy = bonus points. I tried the Bamboo Thai place across the street to the north and it was a little dry, this place is better!

Fast friendly service. Our server answered our questions and helped make decisions. The Biang Biang noodles were delicious. I will definitely return to try other dishes

I have been here several times. I like their lamb soup noodle the most. It tastes authentic and great but not as impressive as a fancy Chinese place. Their soup or fried noodles are highly recommended.

Breakfast restaurant
Located at 3090 Southwest Blvd. in Grove City, 3 Brothers Diner is a popular spot owned by brothers from Oaxaca, Mexico. The menu offers a fusion of Mexican, Cuban and American cuisine, featuring dishes like chicken fajitas, chili cheese omelets, coconut pancakes, cubed French toast and enfrijoladas. They also serve sautéed cactus and more to cater to diverse tastes.
The food was amazing!! My husband and I went for breakfast. I had the plantains and French toast, a side of eggs and side of bacon. Plantains were fire! My husband had eggs, bacon & homefries with a side of French toast. The pricing was reasonable, and though they were busy, the wait to be seated wasn't long and the food was out within 10 minutes of ordering it. We will definitely come back to try the lunch menu.

We enjoyed pretty much all the food we had, but everything was a little bland. Service was good, all the food was fresh and cooked well. I enjoyed the fish po boy, and that it was not greasy at all, but again was bland. The fries and plaintains were excellent though! Salsa was a bit too onion-forward for me. We would stop by again but I dont think we would make a special trip just based on what we had. Service was pretty good at staying on top of drinks and checking in with us, bathrooms and overall resturant was clean.

Fantastic breakfast/brunch spot, atmosphere is fantastic, the chorizo was hot, smooth and flavorful a work of food art, our server was fantastic and made the meal even more enjoyable, got the breakfast enchiladas and the chilies ver.. can’t spell it. This is a must visit if you’re in Columbus.

I stopped here for lunch earlier this week. It was a nice change from chain restaurants. The menu was unique with a number of good options. I had the Cuban with plantains. The food was good and I really liked the plantains. The service and atmosphere were great too.
Ryan B — Google review
The exterior is DECEIVING! This is not a greasy spoon. If you think your going to get typical diner fare, prepare for the shock of a lifetime. This is an upper mid tier Latin / Cuban restraunt with a bit of American family dining mixed in. There is a full bar area and a very large group / party room as well as a comfortable and trendy dining room area. Our server was attentive, the food quality was high and the overall experience was what you should anticipate in this level of establishment. If you want some hash slinging hard-core diner divhng..... Keep googling, but this ain't it.

This was my first visit to this location based on a recommendation. The service and the atmosphere were really good. Food presentation was attractive but lacked a good tasting seasoning. Rather blend for my taste but night try it again.
Tony G — Google review
Food and service was great. My husband and I had the green Chilaquiles. After a slight misunderstanding on us, not seeing the sauce on the Chilaquiles the person in charge gave us this complementary French toast to try and let me say that was very delicious. Everybody was courteous and they did tell me that they could also make the Chilaquiles in red sauce. Being Mexican myself, it was nice to see a well established and busy restaurant.

This place is a hidden pot of gold right in the heart of Grove City. The service is outstanding, food is delicious, and the prices are affordable. The most difficult thing to do is pick something new to try. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner all amazing. Fresh ingredients, made with love and great food make my family keep coming back. The French toast bites are amazing. Get the large size, they are that good.

Creole restaurant
Bar
Restaurant
Gallo's Kitchen & Bar, located in Upper Arlington, is a casual dining spot offering a blend of Italian and Creole cuisine. Co-owned by chef Tommy Gallo, the restaurant boasts a warm and convivial atmosphere while maintaining serious dedication to its menu. The signature dish, pasta Russo, features braised beef, pork, and veal with red wine, herbs, spices, and tomatoes.
I can't even explain how perfect my meal was. I've had countless vodka sauce pastas around the country, and this has the be the best one I've ever had. The garlic, the bacon, the slightest, just enough tomato, just enough cream. Roasted chicken for some flavor depth. Every bite was an explosion of flavor. 10/10 perfection. The chicken parmigiana was also incredible...breaded chicken breast cutlets have a tendency to dry out, not this one. Exploding with juice. And the Alfredo was the perfect amount of butter to cream to cheese ratio. This is what I'm looking for every time I order an Alfredo, and it's hardly ever this good. They managed to capture these flavors without feeling like you're eating a ton of grease/cream/heavy oil, either. The gumbo was as good as you'll find in NOLA, And the roasted polenta was a nice way to start the meal without a heavy and fried appetizer. Overall, perfect food...and it's not often I say that. This place holds a candle and exceeds most of the high end white-tablecloth Italian restaurants you'll find around the city, for a significantly cheaper price. Compliments to the chef!

Nice menu with lots of options. The service was excellent, we really enjoyed our waiter. The restaurant was nicely decorated. There was a private parking lot available for parking. And I have to mention that the bathroom smelled delightful, seems odd to say but it was the best smelling bathroom I've ever been in!

Gallos truly is a treat. I opted for the burger and while my expectations were high they somehow exceeded them. It was so good in fact, we decided to come back 2 days later. Then I tried the cockfight wings and boy oh boy they might be the best wings in the city. I will become a regular!

Great people, great atmosphere and great food. We love our neighborhood place! If you haven’t been we highly recommend. Some of our menu favorites - Seafood Creole - Gallo’s burger and tots - Burrata - Wings (aftershock) - Chicken Piccata
Amy — Google review
The food was just average Italian dishes. Nothing great. Nothing was exceptional that will make me want to go back.
Ryan ( — Google review
I came here spontaneously for dinner one Saturday. The menu has lots of authentic Louisiana dishes with a splash of Italian flare. They have several TVs, perfect for game day, and a good-sized bar area with a full bar. For food, the gumbo had pretty good flavors and I'd gladly eat it again; I'd rate it 7.5/10. The seafood creole had an amazing sauce, the mussels and scallops were surprisingly fresh, and they were far from stingy with the protein portion. It was an all-around excellent dish.. 9/10. Service was solid; you'll get some hints of Southern hospitality. This is a very low-key but high-quality spot!

Uptown Deli and Brew is a modern and upscale brewpub that offers house craft beers, a European-style deli, wine, and a spacious patio. It is the restaurant component of Temperance Row Brewing, paying homage to Westerville's history as the headquarters for the movement that led to Prohibition. Visitors have praised the great value for money and cleanliness of the establishment. The menu features generous entree salads and carefully crafted sandwiches with fresh ingredients and impressive presentation.
Have been here a handful of times and has become the go to lunch spot. Excellent sandwiches with fresh ingredients and an awesome beer selection brewed in house. Patio is nice in the summer and inside is split well for when weather isn't great. Must check out whenever in uptown Westerville for a sandwich and beer. Try the chips and dip!

Has become a go to lunch spot in Westerville, especially when craving a hot or cold sandwich. Atmosphere is nice with a privacy fenced in patio that does a good job at hiding the fact that you’re in a parking lot. The restaurant/deli can seem a little cluttered at some points but nothing off putting. Diverse menu with plenty of options. Semi-decent liquor/wine selection with their strong area being beers. Honestly the real winner is always the chips with their French onion dip, the dip tastes good on everything including all of their sandwiches. Had Maddie as a server today and she was attentive, knowledgeable and fast paced. I look forward to being a returning patron.

Friendly staff is the sign of getting the right people and credit management and it's staff. Also, food was very good. I liked the menu and found it difficult to narrow down my choice. I will have to return several times so I can get all my choices. I had the Beet sandwich which included goat cheese and arugula. I wanted something different and this filled the need.

such a cute little spot in uptown westerville! i got the chive turkey sandwich that was phenomenal as recommended by our server! overall 10/10 for vibes and service. we got to sit outside on the patio since it was so nice out, would 100% recommend!

So many good items on the menu to choose from! Today we enjoyed the Tuscan Turkey and Frenchie. The chips remind me of old school potato skins but better. Add the dip and you won't regret it. Portion sizes are huge...you will have enough for another meal. Try the nitro beers too!

We found this place on the Crew Network because we were trying to find a place to watch the game and we are so happy we did! We had cheese curds, sandwiches (Tuscan Turkey and Figaboudit), potato salad, coleslaw, an old fashioned (one of the best we've had!), and a Scottish ale. Everything was delicious! The atmosphere for the game was great and our server was so sweet and attentive. We will definitely be back for more Crew games!

Nice restaurant in uptown. We went on a Thursday night at 8pm. It was pretty busy but we were able to get a table. The host and servers were very nice. We got a beer, a sangria, Reuben, Tuscan turkey, and prosciutto. The drinks were good. All the sandwiches, apps, and sides tasted as they should, but nothing was great and doesn’t put them apart from any other deli. Their service, location, and atmosphere makes them unique.

They prioritize sourcing food organically and locally, emphasizing their commitment to caring for the earth and community. The visible kitchens and bakeries reflect their belief in transparency in food preparation. Their diverse menu offers something for everyone, with standout dishes like ricotta pancakes.
I was visiting from out of town for a conference and my friend and I came for dinner. The manager, Gabe was very warm and inviting to us. We ordered the chicken and avocado sandwich and Pimiento burger w/sweet potato fries. Gabe even let us try the the Northstar burger since it was our first time there! The food was simply delicious & the house ginger ale is amazing!!! Beautiful, comfortable ambiance. We didn’t have drinks other than the house ale, but they have a full bar with wine and cocktails that looks well stocked! A must try! 👍🏽😍
Luewilla S — Google review
Ok, I got a cheeseburger which was very good. The atmosphere was fine, we had a large party of 9 which really didn’t work that well. You set yourself, you get your drinks yourself, you don’t refer and pay at the register. Ask for napkins they said it came with the silverware and that’s all you get. We had to use multiple extra sets of silverware. They only have sweet potato fries which I didn’t care for at all. The staff wasn’t rude, but they weren’t friendly either. When you paid you selected a tip amount even though you just stood in line to order and you really don’t have help except to remove dishes. I am normally a strong 20-25% tipper, with service, but the minimum was 15% and that was way too much for this place. Won’t be back, there are better options available.

In town visiting for work and came across the Northstar Cafe. Quick service - even with a number of customers arriving at the same time. My order was taken promptly, and some personal recommendations provided by the server. Seated outside, great atmosphere both inside and outside. Ended up with the chicken and avocado sandwich which was delicious. For a drink I had the shooting star. When traveling for work I try to find any opportunity to maximize healthy options. Really great meal, friendly staff and good atmosphere.
David W — Google review
Great for breakfast and lunch. The avocado chicken sandwich is great with a finely toasted bun. Nice outdoor sitting area with heaters, which make sitting outside blissful. Very clean inside and outside. The staff are particularly careful about cleanliness of mugs and silverware. We saw them checking and changing three mugs before handing us one that did not have any spots on it. They are also careful to not touch inside the mugs. And the best of all, we noticed some items in the menu and ingredients staff use are organic. What better than having organic food at reasonable price. This place left a good memory of Columbus for us. I wish them a booming business for their quality work and service.

Absolutely amazing establishment. All staff was friendly and helpful. I had a few questions on ingredients and they were able to explain everything as I needed! The shooting star drink is OUT OF THIS WORLD, DELICIOUS. The fish sandwich was fresh and warm! The northstar burger was one of the best restaurant vegetarian burgers I’ve ever had. So full of flavor! The kale slaw on top was absolutely delicious! Beverages are self serve!

Cute clean restaurant. We stopped for breakfast. You order food at the counter, cafe style. They bring your food to you. Perfect mimosa’s. Freshly juiced carrots. The oats were a perfect serving size. Breakfast was delicious. The kids ate pancakes and drank organic root beer. The coffee was strong. Over all a beautiful setting and would recommend.

Came here for Sunday morning brunch. It was a fantastic spot. Ordering was a little different than most places as you get in line to order your food, then find a table for yourself, and the servers bring out your food once it’s ready. I had the sweet potato and turkey hash, oats all the way, and draft kombucha. Everything was very tasty and delicious. The place has a nice atmosphere with the large windows and sunlight shining in. Friendly and warm staff. Lots of parking with side streets and parking garage right next to the cafe.

German restaurant
Banquet hall
Brewery
Hofbräuhaus Columbus is a German beer hall located in Columbus, Ohio, offering an authentic Bavarian experience. Modeled after the famous Munich beer hall, it features traditional Bavarian fare, classic beers, and garden seating. The restaurant hosts Oktoberfest all year round and boasts high ceilings, long wooden tables and benches, lantern lights, decorative fermentation tanks, and an in-house brewery.
The restaurant captures the authentic feel of a German beer hall, with its spacious interior lined with long communal tables. Servers dressed in traditional Dirndl carry large beer steins filled with beer, enhancing the lively Bavarian atmosphere. The menu features classic German dishes like Würstl, Schnitzel, and giant pretzels. I had the Bratwurst and a Hefeweizen—the sausage was tender and juicy, full of flavor. The sauerkraut added the perfect tang to balance out the richness of the meat. It was a thoroughly enjoyable dinner experience.
Mike — Google review
100% coming back here again when I am in Columbus! The food was flavorful and hot coming to the table. The waitresses were kind and fun. The price point seems fair to me for what’s offered in quality and portions. The dining environment is open, so it could have the potential to be on the louder side but for how open it is, I would say it’s not unexpected but also did not interfere with conversation at the table.
Destinova — Google review
September 2025 What a l9vely spot for beer song and polka! The guy with the accordion was very good! The food was very simple and lacking German precision. The pork knuckles dis not have crispy skin on it. Low quality mustard, but very good pretzels. Low quality deserts. Of course, great variety of beers! Very good. Our service was terrible all around.

Oktoberfest at Hofbrauhaus. The iconic potato pancakes are a must try! Pretzel with ‘bier cheese’ is great too. When you visit a Hofbräuhaus location, the dessert is a ‘shotski’. I loved the atmosphere with live music in the background and everyone just having a great time.great customer service.
Rachel E — Google review
Didnt start off great. Put in reservations a month in advance with a seating request (no booth would like a table). When we arrive, yup, booth. After a little scramble, they got us moved. Outside of that, great time. Food was spot on. Prices were reasonable. Loved the atmosphere...very welcoming and fun. Service was a little behind but in all fair ess they were very busy. We enjoyed ourselves and will be back for sure. I would recommend stopping by if you are in the area.

This place is so fun and live! Unbeknownst to us, we came after Oktoberfest weekend and they were celebrating Oktoberfest in Grandview for the next 3 weeks. Our group of 20 enjoyed the live music and performances. I enjoyed the atmosphere more than the food. The food doesn’t have a lot of flavor; I had the Cajun pretzel bites and the Bavarian Schnitzel (pictured)…the meat and vegetables needed more seasoning but the mashed potatoes were perfect. I guess this is a place you go for the beer and the atmosphere, not really the food.
Miranda O — Google review
My favorite was the pretzels (soft and warm) and the chocolate cake dessert. The cucumbers were a bit dried on the garden salad (still tasted pretty good with the dressing). I had the bratwurst dish with the 3 sausages, sauerkraut and mashed potatoes. Mashed potatoes were good. I don't really like the rubbery texture of the sausages (almost like hot dogs, I prefer a less uniform texture inside) and I prefer crunchier more sour sauerkraut (these were very soft and cooked), but I think it's just supposed to be like that, I'm not sure what authentic German food is "supposed" to taste like but I wasnt used to the textures. Overall a nice meal, and good service! The takeout aluminum containers are not too sturdy, they are hard to seal up and food can fall out if you're not careful opening it. Nice setting and decorations, a little on the warmer side upstairs

I still think about eating at this restaurant everyday. It’s the kind of place you walk into where you get so overwhelmed because everything looks incredible. We got the hummus and baba ghanoush bowl with meat and toppings and it’s just so freaking good. They also give you their own organic roasted fire cooked pita and it’s just next level. If you are stopping in Columbus and you don’t visit this restaurant, you are missing out! Short north in general is just a great place to go

What would it take to get this in California? I think I referred at least ten new diners here during the week we spent in Columbus, and they all loved it too! Hearty, healthy meals at an accessible price point, delicious as all get out, and almost entirely gluten free! Many of the diners I referred are gluten-free and they all enjoyed their options here. I dined here twice and got the sandwich and the salad, and both were absolutely incredible. The brisket? Melt in your mouth. We even shared lots of our meal with our nine month old baby (baby led weaning), and he also approved wholeheartedly! The service was friendly and professional, and the space was clean and had a lovely atmosphere. The local friend who recommended it to me told me not to miss the tahini chocolate chip cookie, and she was SO right. Moral of the story is, I need this in the SF Bay Area, stat!

Jeni's Splendid Ice Creams in the Short North is a must-stop for anyone craving unique and delicious ice cream. What really stood out during my visit was the exceptional service. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, making the sampling process a joy. They offered generous samples, answered questions with enthusiasm, and provided thoughtful recommendations. While Jeni's is known for its ice cream, the positive and attentive service from the staff truly elevated the experience.

I tried two scoops - Root Beer Float and Brambleberry Crisp - at Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams. Since I am allergic to eggs, I asked the staff about ingredients, and they were very clear about which flavors had eggs and which did not. They also had great sorbet options for vegans. I appreciated being able to sample flavors before choosing. The staff were friendly, patient, and helpful, even with a big crowd waiting. Both flavors were tasty, but I was especially impressed with the Root Beer Float - it really tasted like the drink! The shop is busy, but worth the wait. I would definitely come back.

So many choices for ice cream. Very nice delicious flavors. Staff seemed extremely knowledgeable about the descriptions of each flavor. I was disappointed that they only offered ice cream cones and bowls. No other type of desserts like shakes exedra. There is a bathroom there you can use. We were very pleased that they had free tap water available in the dining room. That was super helpful since we had been walking around outside in the heat for 3 hours downtown. As expected, the prices were extremely high.

One thing about me is if I’m in a state that has a Jeni’s, I will make it a point to stop by. It’s a must. I always get my almond brittle butter ice cream and it never disappoints. The flavor is rich and creamy, with that sweet and slightly nutty crunch that makes it unforgettable. And their waffle cone? Absolute perfection! It’s crisp, buttery, and the perfect match for their ice cream. I’ve loved Jeni’s for years, and every visit reminds me why. The quality is always consistent, the flavors are creative and bold, and the staff is always friendly and welcoming. Whether it’s a quick treat on a hot day or a little indulgence after dinner, Jeni’s always hits the spot. This is one of those places I’ll keep coming back to, no matter where I am.

We had had pints of Jeni’s from the grocery store but were thrilled for the opportunity to try ice cream from the scoop shop itself and we were not disappointed! We shared the ice cream flight which comes with 10 scoops of 10 different flavors and waffle cone pieces on the side. Each flavor was unique and offered something different. My favorite was the “everything bagel” which was a savory ice cream and very different from anything I’d had before. My wife’s favorite was the honey vanilla bean. All the ice creams were soft, creamy and not overly sweet. Some of the best ice cream we’ve had! Hope to see them open a shop in Kansas City someday!

Katalina's in Harrison West is a casual cafe that offers down-home breakfasts, soups, salads, and sandwiches. The place has a fun atmosphere and is known for its uniquely delicious food. One of their famous dishes is the Shagbark Black Bean Soup which offers heartiness without being too thick. Another popular dish is the Mazatlan Slow-Roasted Pork & Egg.
Wow. Just wow. I am from Philly was there visiting my friend and looked this place up. Had no idea I'd walk into a space that took me back to one of my now closed, local places in Philly, Sketch Burger. i love a good art space and they provide paint markers for you to leave a mark while you wait for your ridiculously delicious food. Me and my friends shared the dulce pancake balls, that were out of this world! i had that pork sandwich they are famous for and damn I tasted why. And that purple potato hash is no joke either. On top of the friendly atmosphere and staff, they got a tasty local coffee brewing and tons of great swag for purchase too. 10/10 will be return when I am back in town!

This place is so frikken cool and the food was delicious. They have indoor and outdoor seating available. It looked super small at first but it was surprisingly comfortable. Also did I mention the food was amazing!? Highly recommend and dont forget to leave your mark while you're there!

Always a great place to visit. The food is delicious no matter what you decide to choose. You really can't beat the sweet & spicy bacon. I highly recommend getting an order with any of their menu items. The Nutella Pancake balls are also good. They can be a little rich tasting for those that aren't a fan of Nutella, but they offer seasonal and a variety of flavors for the pancake balls. The restaurant has a very cool atmosphere but it has very limited seating inside. There is plenty of outside seating for larger groups when the weather is nice.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience. The staff were nice and we didn’t have to wait long for our food even with it being so busy. It was my first time here and I had heard so many things about their pancake balls. They looked great, but were extremely overrated. There was barely any filling in them and tasted very bland. On the other hand, their fresh orange juice and sweet n’ spicy bacon were delicious. I would definitely come back just for those two, but not the pancake balls. Seemed a little too pricey as well.

Awesome atmosphere, kind attitudes, and great food! The Hibiscus tea was soothing and the Hens in a basket chefs kiss🤌🏽. Coming all the way from San Antonio Texas will definitely recommend to my fellow travelers and will be coming back soon! Thank you for the awesome experience and letting me draw on your walls.

If you are a fan of pancakes, @katalinascafe is the place to go in Columbus, OH. They have really good American-Latin fusion brunch. They are very popular for their pancake balls; I had their Dulce de Leche pancake balls, which looked tasty and tasted even tastier with their cup of syrup on the side. I personally think that their sweet spicy bacon is the star of the menu, is the perfect combination of sweet and spicy, and it was perfectly cooked. They also have their own homemade drinks. I recommend their Horchata and orange juice. It is a very small establishment so you might struggle with getting a table or parking. Great staff and great atmosphere.

Disappointed. I’ve seen this place be so popular. I ordered food online to take home (I live 6.5 hours away) and it wasn’t ready when it said it would be. No big deal but the biggest disappointment finding that my pancake balls had no filling at all. It was too late for me to turn around and say something at this point. Will not be coming back.

Okay. Let’s just talk about the Pancake Balls for just a minute…. Such awesome innovation and absolutely delicious. We were there first thing in the morning when they opened, and the whole staff was ready for us with a smile. Monica took our order and brought the food, and she is absolutely awesome. Friendly, patient and welcoming. The breakfast tacos were out of this world and the service was outstanding!!! Highly recommend this place…

I had an incredible dining experience at P.F. Chang’s thanks to my server, Ian, who truly went above and beyond to make everything exceptional from start to finish. From the moment I sat down, Ian greeted me with a warm, genuine smile and a welcoming attitude that immediately set the tone for a great evening. He was incredibly attentive without being overbearing, checking in at just the right times and always anticipating my needs before I even had to ask. I ordered the Mongolian Beef, which was cooked to perfection tender strips of beef, rich with bold flavors, and beautifully complemented by the scallions and sweet soy glaze. Ian described the dish with enthusiasm and accuracy, and his recommendation made me feel confident in my choice. Throughout the meal, he was consistently professional, courteous, and knowledgeable, effortlessly balancing multiple tables while still making me feel like a top priority. He refilled my drink promptly, ensured my food came out hot and fresh, and even asked how I was enjoying everything mid-meal to make sure everything was to my satisfaction. It’s rare to find servers who genuinely care about the quality of your experience the way Ian clearly does. His attention to detail, personable service, and positive energy made my visit memorable, and I’ll definitely be returning to this location again soon largely because of the outstanding service I received from him. If you’re ever dining at this P.F. Chang’s, do yourself a favor and ask for Ian. He’s a true example of what great hospitality looks like.

We had the best time at P.F. Chang’s! Our server, Kat, was an absolute rockstar. She was on it the whole time. Super friendly, quick, and just made the night feel easy and fun to celebrate our sons birthday! You can tell she really cares about her tables. The food was amazing too. Everything came out hot, fresh, and packed with flavor. Honestly, between Kat’s energy and how good the food was, it made for one of the best meals we’ve had out in a long time. We’ll definitely be back, and I’ll be asking for Kat again!

Tasty food and pretty good service st this local Mexican restaurant. The salsa was chunky and had a mild sweetness to it making it irresistible. Ordered the chicken fajita and it was amazing, super flavor and filled me and the wife up with one meal. We took churros to go and dam they were tasty..

El Vaquero Mexican Restaurant in Columbus was a solid spot for Mexican cuisine. While the food itself was fine, the drinks were truly the standout—well-crafted and very enjoyable. The overall vibe of the restaurant was a bit unusual, with the host using a loudspeaker that cut through the ambient music, creating a somewhat hectic atmosphere. The place was packed, and service was a bit disjointed. Our waitress was seldom seen, with food, drinks, and courses delivered by different staff members. However, everything generally arrived in a reasonable amount of time. Despite the quirks, it was an overall decent dining experience.

El Vaquero Mexican Restaurant: A Delightful Dining Experience El Vaquero Mexican Restaurant offers a truly delightful dining experience. The food is delicious, and the ambiance is incredibly inviting, with various sections each creating its own unique "micro-environment." Everything was excellent on my visit! The food was generously served, with abundant portions that were rich in flavor. The service was both friendly and fast, even though the restaurant was only at about 20% capacity. A fantastic bonus was the complimentary chips and salsa, provided in a large quantity. All of this comes at reasonable prices, making El Vaquero a fantastic choice for Mexican cuisine.

This place is expensive!!! My food was pretty good, and the waitress comped our dessert for the long wait, which we didn't even care about haha... I had the Mango Tea cocktail and it was okay, I think the liquor doesn't mix well with the tea so it was a lot of straight sipping liquor. I had the enchiladas and sopapillas. The atmosphere is good, and the staff are all incredibly friendly, you can tell they like their job.

Really enjoyed our experience. It was my husband's birthday, also Wednesday before Thanksgiving, and it was very nice. Food was fresh. You can taste each veggie and ingredient individually and together as a dish. Can't wait to get back. Lots of gluten free options. Highly recommend.

Fish was amazing! They had a variety of more uncommon fish all were super fresh. If you prefer traditional sushi and focus on sashimi then this place is for you. Spent about $200 with tip mostly sashimi so we tried a good variety. Will be going back.

Had an exquisite dinner at Akai Hana. The king salmon nigiri truly melted in my mouth and was the single best bite. Service was absolutely perfect and so attentive. We visited on a Saturday night around 8pm and didn't have to wait. I would definitely recommend the sushi and the entrees, will have to come back and try more things on the extensive menu.

Voted the best sushi in Columbus year after year for a reason. Impeccable selection of sushi, Korean dishes, appetizers, saki, and much more. The service is also much more involved than similar style restaurants in the greater Columbus area. Several suggestions were made based on taste preferences and the overall experience was just 5 stars as a whole. The place was absolutely packed on a Tuesday night so that says a lot! Also by far the best fatty tuna I’ve had in Columbus by far. Can’t wait to return many times over!

If you're looking for fresh sushi in Ohio, this place is a gem! You can really trust the quality of the fish - I've never had any issues. I'm usually a little hesitant about eating raw fish, especially since we're not near the coast, but they handle their ingredients really well. Everything tastes super fresh. My favorite rolls are: Tuna Bliss B, red dragon, rainbow, spicy scallops(just less mayo). Their king salmon sashimi is 😚 I've recently tried their Korean dishes, the Bulgogi and Kal Bi and they were both wonderful. Edamame is great too. Wasn't too impressed with vegetable spring rolls but they weren't bad. Place is always busy, service remains top notch even during busy times, the staff is kind and professional.

This is absolutely one of our favorites in Columbus. We have been coming here for years. I do miss the warm towels, but everything else is still amazing. My favorites are the asparagus roll and the sweet potato roll, and inari. We love the spring rolls and veggie tempura. We have a few servers that we like the most, but haven’t had one that is bad. Tonight, our reservations were for 4pm. It was quite empty, more so than usual, and we were out by 5:15. The food was wonderful. I would’ve liked to see our server a little more than he was around, as it would’ve been great to get a second glass of plum wine. But, of course we will be back!

Changes the menu everyday?! This quaint but very pleasing restaurant offered us a nice breakfast this morning. Wondering how well they do on a daily basis, I was impressed with my biscuits and gravy and the French toast. The French toast was plentiful big and fluffy paired with a whipped butter and maple syrup. The biscuits were just as big in size and I'm glad I settled with only one instead of two! The chicken gravy was so flavorful and had a beautiful color. Seriously delicious. All of it! The cinnamon roll coffee was not to sweet but also not over bearing in coffee or espresso taste, just executed nicely. I love I got to see them purchasing local, they have an Amish van pull up front with a delivery of their fresh quality ingredients like eggs and bread! I have to return soon to try more dishes, I'm impressed.
Hayley S — Google review
Fantastic food and service! The French toast was easily some of the best I’ve ever had—thick, fluffy, and perfectly sweet. The cinnamon roll latte was also delicious, though a bit on the pricey side for the portion size, which is the only reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5. That said, I’d absolutely recommend this place and would love to come back!
Phoebe B — Google review
I’m going to have to add on to the recent reviews. Skillet has been a wonderful place to visit since I moved to Columbus. The food is top notch. Pricey, yes. But it was a splurge I figured was worth it. Recently, it’s a serve yourself setup. My omelette comes in a cardboard food truck container that completely takes away from the experience. Before, it was plated nice, perfectly folded over omelette with micro greens on top. Now? It’s just thrown into a to go container. Serve yourself water is the same size as Dixie cups you use for mouthwash. And a $8 coffee which is the cinnamon roll latte (usually to die for) is served in a GFS paper cup now. Not sure we will be going back based on these new changes. Hopefully this feedback finds its way to create change again.
Mitchell G — Google review
We have been going to this restaurant for a few years and it has always been a favorite. Food has always been great, prices were reasonable and the service was always good. Today, we walked in to a different restaurant - no one greeted us at the door like they used to, just stand in the doorway waiting for a seat. If it was crowded, we would have left. No one serves you, you have to order on your phone and pay the same way. I would understand if the prices were lowered to reflect the decrease in service, but they don't seem to have changed. Fewer seats, no ambiance and miserable service. Our food came out quickly but our drinks didn't come out till we were halfway through our meals. The guy who makes the drinks also has to direct people coming in and that detracted from his efficiency. Very disappointed in the changes and we WILL NOT be coming back. If I want to serve myself, I'll stay home and save the money

We just ate at Skillet for the first time and loved it! Owner is super nice, and the restaurant is small, intimate and charming. Coffees are super good (Cinnamon Bun Latte - hot, Cold Brew with Maple honey to sweeten). My wife and I both ordered the Pimento Omelet, and it was very delicious; our daughter had the Cheesy Hashbrowns - also very delicious. I must comment that the plates of other food coming out of the kitchen looked soooo delicious! Will definitely be back here MUCH more. 😃👍👍👍⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We have made a decision not to go back. They've made shocking changes to the dining experience that doesn't work for us. Gone are the stylish dinner plates, amazing unique pottery coffee cups, condiments, complimentary water, and most of the wait staff. Expect to pay for tap water, condiment style hot sauce, and for each cup of coffee (no refills). 100% point of sale service and 100% paper plates, coffee cups, and plastic utensils. Orders must be placed by mobile device (QR Code) or via a single kiosk. Payment is tediouly typed in including all your card digits, expiration date, security code, first and last name, email, and phone number, and tip before your order can be placed. Today I placed about a $50 order for 2 but when the food came, I realized I had forgotten the hot sauce. I was informed I had to pay for it. So, again, I scanned the QR code, payment, phone number etc. all over again. I've been to Skillet many, many times, and had always recommended it to friends and tourists. The food is still awesome, the coffee excellent, and their homemade hot sauce is fantastic. If you're willing to adjust to the new payment system, minimal staff engagement, using paper products, clearing your own table like a fast food restaurant, for a once elevated dining experience, you won't be disappointed.
Corey J — Google review
My family three did not get to eat here because there were no open seats. The place is very small. They may have about 10 tables that sit 2 people It is a first-come-first-serve, wait at the door. The only host service is a sign just inside the door that says to seat yourself. When we arrived, all tables were booked and it look like most people were waiting still for their food, which is not a good sign for people waiting outside. The menu looks good, but the space is very limited.
A M — Google review
The restaurant that doesn’t want to be a restaurant. The food is good most times. They change the menu a lot so sometimes it’s better than others. - there are 5 tables in the building and you can’t reserve any. And there’s no waiting list even if you show up you just have to wait outside the front door and fight for a table. - there aren’t any service employees, they actually don’t want you talking to them or interacting with them at all, no servers, no host. - you have to pay for water - can’t really ask questions about the food as you order on your phone and can’t make any modifications. - no espresso just 9 dollar drip coffees with sugar - they basically were like we want a restaurant but don’t want to be open (only open Friday, Saturday, and Sunday until 2.) we also don’t want to have human interactions, they don’t even want to bring you the food you have to order on your phone then pick up from a table, they don’t want to have dishes to do. Everything is paper and plastic.

Tommy's Diner is a beloved family-owned spot in the Franklinton neighborhood, serving classic American breakfast and lunch for over 30 years. The diner features iconic red vinyl booths and neon lights, creating a nostalgic atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy traditional diner fare such as burgers, sandwiches, steaks, meatloaf, and more. Tommy's also offers daily specials for both breakfast and lunch. Additionally, the restaurant has received numerous awards for its outstanding meals.
My first time here was while traveling from Cedar Point back home to Nashville. I saw this place had great Google reviews, so we stopped for lunch. It lived up to the hype—the food was extremely good. The fried mushrooms were great, and the double-decker burger I got was amazing, along with the cheese fries. The rest of the family enjoyed their meals as well and all said it was really good. We will definitely be back if we are ever in the area again. The waitress was very attentive; they were extremely busy, but we were seated in about five minutes. Great menu options—they have a little bit of everything.

The food was not bad. The food was priced a bit high. Service was not the best. The server cleared our food before we were finished. The salt and pepper shakers were dirty. We had to wipe our seats off before we could sit down. The drinks taste funny.

Came here before a Buckeye game. It was packed with Buckeye fans headed to the game. Really cool diner. Staff was very friendly and attentive. We did get a little lucky and was able to get a seat right away. Most people had a little bit of a wait to get seated, but the food comes out quick. The gravy was very good on the country fried steak. Eggs and bacon were cooked perfectly to order. If you are in this area you should stop in and try this local diner out.

If I could give 0 stars i would. First and Foremost, There is NO WAY that You guys should be allowed to charge the amount of money You do, when the food You serve is the lowest grade of quality ive ever seen in a diner. Fully cooked does not Mean You get to serve it straight out of the can. Your Hash was Trash, You have doggy treats for bacon, Your potatoes are dehydrated, placed in a bowl of water until tenderness has met Your Standards. You make hot water Biscuits and charge $11 for gravy pours over 2!!!!!!! I gotta say when I walked in the atmosphere was great, the people were nice, but when I opened My to go box all of that was disregarded. There is NO WAY that nice of a place should be serving food that they wouldnt serve in a homeless Shelter. $61 dollars for this? Yaw should be ashamed of ya selves. The Milk Shakes were good tho. At least that worked out. PEACE PS I tried to Cook the raw hash. Still trash PPS Heres a view to make it better at the end One Love. Fix that menu yaw

Great diner in Franklinton! Tommy’s has that perfect retro vibe with old-school booths and a no-frills menu that delivers every time. Giuseppe's Ritrovo is a popular Italian restaurant known for its cozy atmosphere and delicious menu. It offers a variety of Italian classics such as pizzas, pastas, and martinis, along with an extensive wine selection. The restaurant has garnered praise from both locals and visitors for its impeccable service and elegant Italian setting. The Lasagna was almost $30 and it literally was awful; tasted like chef boyardee. Don't waste your money! The Tortiglioni was ok and the one virgin drink was awful. The desserts were the best part; the cannolis were amazing and the tiramisu was okay.

Atmosphere and service was great. Food was subpar at best. Short ribs tasted like a cheep cut of round roast you get at Kroger. Salad was very small and bland. Best part of the meal was the bread. Way overpriced for what you get.
Chris S — Google review
I went to Giuseppe’s for the first time last night after friends recommended it so strongly. I was not disappointed. We sat outside which was a ice area, there was the occasional horn honk or traffic noise but generally it wasn’t noticeable which was great because it’s situated on a busy street. We got the bruschetta which was fresh and well flavored, we split the Caesar salad. This salad dressing was a bit non traditional- I think it even had some gin in it, but it was well dressed and tasty. Good croutons too. My partner got the spaghetti with clams and I got the spaghetti with shrimp and a cream sauce, both were good. My favorite was the chocolate cake for dessert. The cake wasn’t overly sweet and the frosting was especially good and the cake was incredibly moist. The service was great, I also liked how the food was delivered by kitchen staff. They employ a lot of kids that seem pretty young but they do a really good job.
Grant D — Google review
Wasn't impressed at all with the food the way everyone raved about. The portion sizes were small for what you paid for, the ravioli was almost crunchy, about 1/3 of the roast was fat, 3 pieces of shrimp on the appetizer, and 10 pieces of gnocchi which was also incredibly hard. I was seriously underwhelmed with what I paid for, taste wise and portion wise. Only thing on the menu that was fair priced at all was the drinks. I would definitely via for a different venue, and I never write reviews, but this one was so bad I felt I needed to.

We were visiting from out of town and this restaurant was recommended to us. It had a lively atmosphere and the food was fine. The service was terrible. Our server essentially ignored us while lavishing attention on her other tables. I’m sure that there are far better choices for Italian food in Columbus.

Delicious Italian food with a touch of Italy. I have visited Italy (2016) and the name of this Italian restaurant and the interior decor, felt like I was back in Italy. Nice small menu with some impactful platters. I had their lasagna and it was good, a Cesar salad, and a few adult beverages. They had live music when (a Tuesday)I came to dine here. Free parking garage near by. Limited free street parking. No time limit to park after a certain time of the day. Nice and friendly staff (thank you, Liz). Decent prices.
Miguel H — Google review
Avoid at all cost. It has fallen precipitously from its' former level of food quality, presentation, and overall dining experience. I recently visited and it was the first time I had to send back food because it was so poorly prepared. Overall food quality is below an Olive Garden and its' peers. Prices have inched higher and higher. Hoping this is a temporary situation and that it improves greatly, quickly.

The Brown Bag Delicatessen is a charming spot located in the historic German Village, offering a variety of inventive deli sandwiches, soups, and salads for takeout. Known for its friendly customer service and sensational seasonal dishes, it's the perfect place to grab a meal after exploring the picturesque neighborhood. The menu features classic salads and customizable sandwiches filled with delicious ingredients like cranberry mayo, bacon, and roast veggies.
Brown Bag is definitely serving up a good sandwich and sides! My biggest takeaway was that they do not skimp on the meat. Their sandwiches are massive and the sides are a hefty portion as well. Definitely worth giving this place a try. I can't wait to come back and try a vegetarian sandwich.
David — Google review
Small place with around 16 seats, really smokey inside. Energetic loud little deli with delicious sandwiches and sides, but on the pricey side. I got tuna sandwich with a pea pesto salad and edemame slaw salad sides. Fellow diner got a 1/2 sandwich - I think thr pick 2 deal where you get half sandwich and a side. The sides were very good and fresh - slaw tastes of smokey sesame oil and fresh red onion. The pesto salad was a pesto pasta salad and was pretty good. My tuna sandwich was much better than most sandwich shops in the immediate vicinity such as katzinger. They load it up with tuna salad (if anything too much, but thats a personal preference really) and a good amount of other fixings that make it taste fresh, give it some texture and its not greasy. Ill be back for sure. I think Id rather get a sando and go to the park, personally, as it was cramped and smokey, but it wasnt bad or anything just not my jams inside.

Excellent sandwiches all around. Big serving. Great taste. Quick service. We sat outside on a nice day. They have indoor seating also. Lots of people ordering to go bags. Great place to watch people walk their significant others and dogs by. Close to Schiller park.

My wife and I love to support local businesses. Brown Bag Delicatessen offers some of the best sandwiches you can get in Ohio. My wife got the village addiction and I opted for the Cuban. Both were made to perfection. The service was helpful helping us navigate the options provided. We ate on the patio and enjoyed the sites of German Village. I highly recommend.

Oh Brown Bag….like a spurned lover I always return to you only to be disappointed. This place has so much going for it: great location, cute shop, and a decent variety of tasty sandwiches. But the timing and execution of the food is always lackluster. I don’t typically like to place online orders, but when ordering from here I always do since I do not have 40 minutes to an hour on a weekday to wait for one sandwich (which I have found is the average wait time if you place your order in person). While they are undoubtedly tasty when made properly and the quality of ingredients is good, the sandwiches are never consistent and almost always have some sort of issue. My last club sandwich was so burnt I couldn’t finish it, and my “Molly’s favorite” from today was so wet and greasy that the bottom piece of bread disintegrated before I could get home to eat it , and the grease soaked completely through the wrapper and bag. I want so badly to continue supporting this place, as they seem like good people and I know it is a difficult time for small businesses everywhere. But until they get some crisper pickles, implement better quality control, and figure out how to accommodate a lunch rush I’m not sure I can continue spending money here.
Kailey C — Google review
We had leftover sandwiches and I was lucky to get a roast beef, tomato, lettuce, onion with cream cheese. Wow! That was a great half! Definitely better than Katzingers and they actually give you meat!

Incredible experience, amazing food. I just ate here for the first time tonight. I walked in 5 minutes before closed and they were more than happy to serve me. The staff was incredibly nice and the #7 Village Addiction was one of the best sandwiches I’ve ever had! Will definitely be going back very soon :)

Took my family here for an early dinner. Sandwiches were AMAZING. Got the #1 and the turkey and coleslaw were super tasty. Wife got a sandwich with turkey and mozzarella on ciabatta and it was EXCELLENT. Each sandwich came with a pickle. Perfect! Also got a side of buffalo cauliflower and it was awesome. Very flavorful with just a hint of spicy. Definitely recommend. The staff was exceptional. They were all very nice, helpful, and kind. A+!

Tony's is a highly acclaimed Italian restaurant that features mouth-watering homemade pasta and seafood dishes. The restaurant is casual but comfortable, with friendly staff who are always on hand to serve you. The menu has a wide range of options, from antipasti to main courses, so there's something for everyone.
Tony’s Italian Restaurant in Columbus, Ohio, is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by a warm and friendly atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The staff was exceptionally welcoming, adding to the overall delightful experience. I started my meal with a salad and soup, both of which were nothing short of incredible. Each bite was bursting with flavor, showcasing the quality and freshness of the ingredients. The menu was filled with enticing options, and I found myself wishing I had a bigger appetite to try more of the delicious offerings. What truly stood out was the owner, who was not only incredibly friendly but also exuded a passion for his restaurant that was palpable. Having been in the same location for 43 years, it’s clear that he knows exactly how to run a successful establishment. I can confidently say that when I return to Columbus, Tony’s will be my first stop. If you’re in the area and looking for fantastic Italian cuisine served with genuine hospitality, don’t miss out on this wonderful restaurant!
Kerri F — Google review
Truly exceptional welcome and service, for the rest... so let's start with the appetizers, the arancini are not rice balls, but have their own ingredients, these cannot be called "arancini". The lasagna, are not made with mozzarella and ricotta, presented in a lake of tomato sauce, these are not lasagna. A note of merit for the bruschetta with gorgonzola, and the prosecco. In conclusion, calling this restaurant "Italian" is really presumptuous.
Dino C — Google review
My deepest compliments to the Chef and our Waiter. Chef, your Angel Lobster Ravioli was absolutely divine! The delicate pasta, rich and flavorful filling, and perfectly balanced sauce made every bite a delight. The freshness of the seafood truly shined, and the dish felt both elegant and comforting. An unforgettable culinary masterpiece—thank you for such an incredible meal

Tony’s is like walking into a family party at your Nonna’s. The lounge has a couch and coffee table up against the bar and you feel like you’re home. The food is old school, solid, comfort Italian. The staff is fantastic. Each one is nicer and more attentive than the next. I’ve eaten here numerous times and the host is a quintessential gentleman. He pulls my chair out and waves my husband to his seat. The home made pastas are great. I have so many favorites that I just keep on coming back. It reminds me of the little restaurants in New York where you can just stay and eat and feel satiated. Delicious!

Iconic restaurant that I’ve wanted to try for years. Very glad that I did. Nicely seasoned food, excellent portions and great drinks from the bartender. I’ll be back
Evan B — Google review
The food was decent. The service was not so great. We went there with a large group including 4 kids. Before our group even got settled in our chairs the owner made it a point to come over to our table to tell us that the kids MUST stay seated the entire time. The children weren't even out of their seats and it was a very off putting start to dinner. Our family is BIG on respect and making sure our children are well behaved and respectful of others in restaurants. I get that maybe not all parents watch their kids but its odd to make that announcement to groups simply because there are kids present, especially when the kids arent even misbehaving or out of their seats. I probably wont be back just based on that alone.
Sam C — Google review
I had high hopes for this place and was even happier when we called needing a last minute place for 15 people. However, when we got there we had to split into two tables not really close enough to talk to each other. We had just left a funeral and were there with out-of-state family. The owner was insistent as soon as we sat down to make a comment about the children in our group. I had the espresso martini which wasn’t great and Tony’s Own Fettuccini and it was bland. The server was pretty cold and like we were a bother. I won’t go back.

The German Village Coffee Shop, also known as Das Kaffe Haus, has been a beloved part of the Columbus community since it opened its doors in 1981. This old-school diner, located on the outskirts of downtown Columbus, offers a nostalgic experience with its unchanged vintage decor. Despite its name, it's more renowned for being a classic diner than a coffee shop and is considered one of the top breakfast spots in the city.
The German Village Coffee Shop is hands-down my favorite place for breakfast — the spot I’ll always choose when I want something genuine and satisfying. There’s something timeless and comforting about this place. It’s traditional in all the best ways: no frills, just great food made right, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel like a regular, even if it’s your first time. The breakfast is consistently delicious, with classics done exactly how you want them. Whether it’s the perfectly cooked eggs, crispy bacon, or their signature pancakes, everything feels homemade and hearty. The service is friendly and down-to-earth, which just adds to the charm. If you’re looking for an authentic, traditional breakfast spot with no gimmicks — just great food and great people — this is it.

Loved this place. Basic good breakfast food at a cheap price for the area. The young guy working as a host is weirdly accurate with guessing wait times, we waited 28 minutes and he said 30 after just looking around the restaurant when we came in. Super welcoming and organized place. I hope to come back soon!

A no-frills, classic diner serving hearty breakfasts and strong coffee in the heart of German Village. The atmosphere is cozy and old-school, the pancakes are a must-try, and the service is fast and friendly. It’s often busy, but worth the wait for a true local gem.

This is one of my new favorites for Gourmet Pizzas and Signature Cocktails. It is located in the Easton Area, but in one of the Extensions of this area off of the heavy traffic and bustling of the more shops friendly area with heavy foot traffic. It is bright and airy, with an above average ambiance and menu! The service was amazing and the restaurant was warm and inviting in the afternoon, but you could see how it has the accommodations for a much livelier Crowd for evening dining! Also noted, was the very well kept patio area with an adjoining presence of a garage door for seamless indoor and outdoor dining preferences. I can’t wait to try more options at this location!

Wings were crispy and charred to perfection. Pizza was great, a thinner crust, great crispy, pieces stayed firm when eating instead of drooping down. Sauce has great flavor and added a little sweetness
Sean C — Google review
Excellent service, exotic drinks, and exquisite pizza toppings make this restaurant a must do when in Easton. Their draft beer selections are varied and have a deep bench, from pale hoppy beers to dark imperial stouts. The gourmet toppings are worth the price of admission: Nashville hot chicken with dill pickles is unique, but the mushroom, garlic, and feta is not to be missed. Personal favorites are the pine and swine, steak and mushroom, and chicken bacon Gouda. Our server tonight (Jordan) was attentive, personable, kind, and vivacious - making a delicious meal even more enjoyable.

Here on a business trip and selected this restaurant for the menu and eclectic vibe. I started with the Midwestern Mule and ordered the strip steak and brussels sprouts. We ordered Meatballs and Polenta Fries as the appetizer. Both were yummy, although 2 meatballs as an appetizer was small portion. My colleagues ordered a Philly Cheesesteak and another ordered a White Pizza. I was disappointed with my steak as it was overcooked and tough (I ordered it medium) and the brussels sprouts were basically charred. I should have gone with the Poutine. Service was mixed. It took a long time to get our check and we had to flag server down. Restaurant was not that busy on a Wednesday evening.

We got to the restaurant and we're seated immediately. It was so, so hot so we asked the manager if he could turn on the overhead fan he said that the air conditioner was broken and the fans didn't work. That should have been disclosed when we arrived. The food was ok nothing special. It was not the cleanest place and smelled of old beer. Once was enough for me.

This was my 3rd time to visit Little Palace and my favorite is CHEESE CURT! I don't know what kind of cheese or breaded they use but their cheese curt is the best. One time my friends and I came for happy hour and we had 6 orders of cheese curt! The crispy chicken sandwich was really crispy amazing :D it was fresh and delicious. It was small but I think it's good amount of food that I'd need after a lot of cheese curt. The hummus, my husband had it. I'm not a big fan of this but my husband said it was good and fresh. Anyway, just go get your cheese curt there! Send me msg if you know a place that have a good cheese curt, I'll go and try them all! I love just the original one but would be okay to try new flavor too.

The pizza… one of the best! And the burgers are also amazing. Definitely recommend. The ambiance is super nice, cozy, modern, all at once. I went there twice and this will be MY place for good meals and happy days! Recent note: owing photo from my all time favorite pizza, White, but adding the pork fries and the queso and tacos for starters, which were a delightful surprise when I came yesterday!

We had a small group gathering to watch a college football game - not Ohio State. There were plenty of TVs and since Ohio State wasn't playing it wasn't a big deal, and we'd cleared it with the managers when we made a reservation. It still took a bit because we had to find the channel - our server was a bit busy so we had to do it ourselves, but not a huge challenge. We ordered a mix of appetizers, beers, and main dishes. Everything came out well prepared, and our server came around often enough that we had refills and new drinks regularly. The covered patio was great, a good number of people, but not packed. Only issue was later in the evening someone decided she was allowed to smoke on the patio on the sidewalk which was obnoxious. Not sure if the staff knew, and that's why they closed one of the bay windows, or if they were just closing things up. She clearly knew she wasn't supposed to do it because she pretended to care but holding it over the fence except when she took a drag. We eventually closed the other bay window. There was still most of a quarter left, and it was annoying that we couldn't enjoy the nice evening air. I'm all, decent place, basic pub menu, good food watching games, but maybe some patrons that aren't the classiest people. It's a drive for us so we probably won't go back, but good for more local people.

I love old classics like this. Met my son and a friend here for lunch. Bier was frosty cold and excellent, but we knew that going in. It was the food that was surprisingly good. I had the Reuben and onion rings. They made a mistake in the kitchen and I got fries too--I recommend both. My friend had the NA Guinness Stout, and after my first pint, I got one of those too. Tastes just like the original. My son and friend both said the pizza was really good--thin crust, heavy on the toppings.

They were understaffed and our huge wedding party arrived unannounced due to a communication error. As a business owner I understand that is very stressful. A situation like this creates a large margin for unhappy patrons. You cant facilitate a party of 100 on a walk in easily. They got it done. Wonderful critical thinking skills!Literally 3 staff members. I am super impressed. Kelly and the staff did wonderful. I would give them 10 stars if I could!! The Rossi Kitchen & Bar is a casual American restaurant with an Art Deco style bar and lounge vibe. They serve up delicious food, such as short rib and polenta gnocchi or bacon-wrapped meatloaf with shiitake madeira sauce. The Rossi is a great place to meet friends for a drink and some American cuisine!
We were given free gift cards from a friend and popped in to check out this restaurant. It was so classy and swanky and the staff were so friendly and helpful. We started off with a couple of drinks that were delicious and moved on to a couple of appetizers. The appetizers were so unique and both were really good. We ordered a pizza for your main entree and a couple more drinks and again all of it was amazing. We have already told all of our friends how good it was and are planning another trip!

The Rossi is one of our favorite spots in the Short North! Their chicken parm is absolutely phenomenal - the saude is rich and flavorful, and the chicken is perfectly cooked, never dry. The mussels are always delicious. The bread service is a must! The butter with black salt takes it to another level! We also tried the mushroom pesto pizza, and it was incredible. The drinks can be excellent, depending on the bartender. Or good otherwise. A special shoutout to Amanda, the general manager - she’s fantastic! Always smiling, checking in on tables, and making sure everything is running smoothly. Rossi is a must-visit in the Short North!

We went there for my sons birthday celebration, the food was really good. We had Rossi burger, Truffle pizza( moms favorite with no red sauce), crust was awesome. We had fried ravioli , bruchetta and calamari which were all good. Bruchetta bread was a bit soggy in the middle. I would wanna go back to try other shareables that sounded all good. That would be a nice if they had a small candle with the desert that we ordered since they already knew we were there for a birthday:(

We came here during happy hour and was I was excited to finally visit. Parking is the usual paid street parking. The restaurant is beautiful, the bar is so classy, and I would describe the atmosphere as cool retro jazz. It was a Tuesday evening, very calm and quiet, except for the kitchen noises. Their menu changed slightly, I think they had their pizzas for happy hour previously, but it wasn't this time. However, the OH pizza was delicious, crispy, sweet, spicy, fantastic. I would recommend this pizza, it's very good. We also got the meatballs, bruschetta, and truffle popcorn. I was not expecting the meatballs to be two massive balls, it was good and delicious, just a bit too salty. The popcorn was a bit soggy, but truffle flavor was good. The bruschetta also came on just two slices of bread and covered in tomato and balsamic vinaigrette goodness. The appetizers we got during happy hour ranges from $3-$4. We also got the mini Cosmo and Lemon Drop, and chardonnay to sip and those were good to pair with everything. I preferred the Lemon Drop a bit more, it gave a good sour and sweet balance. Overall, with mini drinks, appetizers, and pizza, the cost was about $53 before tip. It's not too bad when we shared with 3 people. I would come back for their pizza and a couple apps! I really like the atmosphere of the bar and staff was very nice and patient with us. Staff was nice to accommodate us and allowed us to choose somewhere else to sit. I would recommend this place for a casual date, a drink, and a delicious pizza. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the decor of the restaurant. I feel like outside of happy hour, it may be a bit expensive including parking, but it was pretty good during happy hour.

I sat at the bar and enjoyed the view to the busy street. Shannon the bartender was super nice and helpful. She recommended the tomato soup and the Spicy Chicken sandwich. Both items I got were absolutely stunning. The flavor of the chicken sandwich was spicy but not overwhelming. It was juicy in the middle and crispy on the outside. Tomato soup had a nice mixture in flavor and textures. It had bread crumbs, basil and a parmigiana cheese topping. The high quality ingredients stood out and allowed for an amazing dine in experience! If you haven’t been, check this place out!

This is a breath taking exceptional high banks location- must visit! First thing is the atmosphere, it was incredible. The decoration is modern industrial and just really cool. Our waiter was Adam, exceptional and friendly! High banks has excellent food options available with something literally for anyone! I highly recommend coming to this location next time you are in the area!

We enjoyed our lunch here on their patio. The server was attentive and kind. The drinks were all delicious and well crafted. Everyone in my party enjoyed their food. My personal dish was the chicken and biscuits- I found it good but not necessarily great. It needed more gravy, which I asked and got. I think the gravy could have had more seasoning. I also thought the biscuits were kind of bland and lacking flavor. I wish they were crispy and flaky and had seasoning to them. They were just kinda meh. On the other hand, the chicken on the dish was quite yummy. I didn’t hate the dish necessarily, just probably wouldn’t get it again. Everyone else in my party liked their food though. I will still give 5 stars and will come back for sure.

Went with some friends today. The food was mediocre. It was lacking a little seasoning. The avocado toast was missing some pepper, honestly some sea salt would have been good in it as well. The breakfast burrito had actual potato half’s in it that made it awkward to eat and wasn’t seasoned. The nachos were decent.

We visited the restaurant on a Saturday evening. We made a reservation but there were several open tables when we arrived. The restaurant offers indoor and outdoor seating. The only challenge is parking. We got a flight of 4 and enjoyed every pour. This was our first time visiting so we were unaware the Whiskey War Double Double is a limited release. We would have loved to bought that bottle! My BLT salad was delicious and my husband enjoyed his burger. The fries were crispy and absolutely perfect. Our server was friendly, prompt, and patient. She also made a recommendation to add an additional pour to our flight and we were not disappointed. We would absolutely go back.

Angela was the best! She made me feel welcome and appreciated. She was very patient with me when I had no idea what I wanted to get. But when I did order and ate the food was AMAZING!!! I think travel a lot for work so I’m not from here but I will definitely be back and hopefully I will have Angela again!

Very interesting options to taste everything the distillery has to offer from vodka - whisky, no brewed beer "sorry fellas". Super friendly staff, you will need street parking unless you arrive early happy hour.

Pretty good. We got most of the appetizers during their happy hour and were pleased with them. The deviled eggs and their French fries were my favorite. My husband liked their brussels, I thought they were decent. The wings were good. The pimento cheese dip was missing flavor (or salt maybe?) to me. The thing we didn’t care too much for was the actual entree we got. We got the biscuits and gravy with fried chicken and hot honey on top and I only took one bite. The gravy wasn’t my favorite and the biscuits themselves weren’t as fluffy and flavorful as anticipated. I’d go back, but I’m not rushing. Good amount of seating. Nice waitstaff.

The Service Bar is a trendy and spacious distillery, bar, and kitchen located at Middle West Spirits in Columbus. The establishment offers a modern American dining experience with a focus on contemporary cuisine and house spirits. Executive Chef Avishar Barua presents inventive dishes that blend Midwestern and Middle Eastern flavors, such as the Koji Half Rohan Duck and Short Rib with Huajian Bao.
I hesitate to leave a review here as I’d much prefer to keep Service Bar off the radar for my own benefit. Service and ambiance were both fantastic. The food was surprisingly good compared to other restaurants attached to distilleries or breweries. I am not exactly a cocktail aficionado, but I would not consider myself an amateur whiskey drinker. The cocktails here are unbelievable. We ordered two of the more interesting concoctions on the menus, expecting them to be akin to what you put on pancakes. They were anything but. Spirit focused, thoughtfully crafted, and addicting. Don’t pass on Service Bar. Scratch that. Don’t go. You won’t like it. Best to stay away. 🤫

Nice place, and nice service. Service was on the slow side but only because of limited staffing. $41 fish plate was tastey but extremely small, so were drinks. Honestly I spent over a hundred bucks with a tip but left very hungry. The fish was served on a comically large plate that enhances the small portion, but the flavor profile of the fish was very good - I like the tanginess of the sauce and it had a lot of seasoning. Filet was cooked well, and although the dish was on the oiley side it was very tastey. It came with pickled onions which were good. Probably wouldn't buy again though at 41 bucks. The pizza was much better value at 15 bucks for the food. Yes it was still small, but the quality of crust waa good and fellow diner recommended. For the price, I'd say it was alright.

We were looking for a special dinner that would accommodate our group. First of all, the drinks were phenomenal and innovative. Kudos to the chef for curating a vegan dish that was truly unique and incredibly delicious. Also, the service was above and beyond! David, Cassidy and Grace were all super accommodating and kind. Everyone in Columbus - this place is so worth the visit! Don’t miss out 💕 P.S. - the Oaxacan 75 is one of the most well-rounded cocktails I’ve ever had! Couldn’t recommend it more!

Creative and delicious menu! Had the pork chop, the salmon, the hanger steak and stuffed quail for our meals. Appetizers were the fries and confit wings. Drinks were amazing too!
Cayla G — Google review
Lots to say about this dining experience, overall it was good. The good: -The atmosphere was nice, good lighting and okay space between the tables. Nice decor and accents. -Our drinks were very good and the perfect strength, well balanced, nice aesthetic. -The whipped cream on creme brulee was perfectly sweetened. -The Caesar salad dressing is some of the best I've ever had and the cheese is so fresh. The bad: -The marrow appetizer was overpriced for what it was, we (maybe) got 1.5 tablespoons out of both bones combined. They were prepared well and the sourdough was very good and charred perfectly. -We asked to share a Caesar salad, the kitchen did not plate it onto 2 plates. We were given the dish and had to wait for plates. -Not bad, but surprised to receive regular heinz ketchup with the duck fat fries, anticipated something housemade. -Shocked to hear our server did not know what an Irish coffee was, and never gave us an answer if we could order one or not. -My pappardelle pasta was so salty I almost sent it back, the size and texture of the noodles was great. -My spouse's mussels seemed over cooked but everything else was fine he said. What should be fixed: -The front of house is undeniably understaffed, we saw 2 servers the entire time we were there on a Friday night. The bartender and 2 other support staff were there helping to run food and clear our table. -Retraining the FOH staff is a must...examples missing from our service include; replacing silver ware when you take dirty ones from the table (we went without a few utensils), boxing up food away from the table should be standard practice for a restaurant of this caliber, checking in on the meal at least twice (we were only checked on once we were done eating). All-in-all I will go back, but it seems like a 50-50 experience, some stuff is good and some stuff is bad and it's a mix of the food and service. For $141 before tip, it's overpriced for what it is right now. Small, consistent improvements will make this place worth it.

I had a fantastic dinner with my wife tonight at Service Bar, in celebration of our eighth wedding anniversary. Our server, Andy, was excellent and proved invaluable in helping us decide, since there were several vegan options available on the menu. Our cocktails and appetizers came out very fast, and were incredible - the wonton and brassica dishes both featured beautiful plating and intense flavors, complimenting the 'Blood Sugar Magic' and 'Rosé Petal' beverages selected for our first round. For main courses we chose the Black Pepper Seitan and Panang Curry, which again arrived at the perfect moment and continued the meal without making us feel rushed. A second round of cocktails followed, with a 'Courtlandia' for me, and my wife selecting 'Rosemary's Daisy'. Dessert arrived again at seemingly the precise time it was meant to; a vegan 'Buckeye' that mystified our senses with its chocolate-peanut-maple flavors and textures leaving us dazzled. 10/10, would dine at Service Bar again. Slightly pricey if you take a tour of the entire menu like we did, but absolutely worth the experience!

We had an excellent meal and drinks at the beautiful bar. The pork cheek gnocchi is insanely good. It was one of the best bites of food I've had in recent memory. There was a perfect amount of heat as well as beautiful warming spices, and the cheek was so tender it fell apart when you touch it with the fork. The Rachel was also very good, and the kimchi played well with the other big flavors on the sandwich, while leaving a lingering heat that was very pleasant against the very savory smoked meat. While the communal seating may not be ideal for some, I think it is nice to be able to see and share the dining experience with those around you, and discuss the very inventive food and beverage. This place is definitely worth the price, and we will be back for more.

This was a gem I randomly came across and we went on a whim and absolutely loved it! The wings were hands down some of the best wings I’ve had in the entire city. Top notch! I’ll be returning just for this. The porkchop was to delicious but the carbonara fell flat for us a little bit. The noodles were more of a matted ball than anything so we were cutting into it like it was a piece of meat, but the flavor was tasty! Just a texture thing. The cocktails were all fabulous. We’ll likely come back for snacks and drinks for sure. Keep it up, service bar! We loved you!

Condado Tacos is a lively cantina with a modern and colorful interior, offering the unique experience of building your own tacos and trying margarita flights. Originating in Columbus in 2014, it has expanded to over a dozen locations across the Midwest, including Michigan, Indiana, and Pennsylvania. The funky storefronts are hand-painted by local artists, immersing visitors in Mexican street art.
Dominica is hands-down one of the best bartenders I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Her professionalism, attention to detail, and warm personality create a truly welcoming atmosphere at the bar. Whether she’s crafting a classic cocktail or recommending something new based on your taste, you can tell she takes real pride in her craft.

01/20/2025 - I recently visited this Condado Taco for the first time and was pleased with its spacious interior. They also had a nice outdoor patio. Nice bar set up. I ordered for carryout 3 chicken tacos on hardshell and they were good. Psychedelic drink menu. A few and mounted big flat screen tv’s for your entertainment. This evening was busy for carryout. Highly recommend placing an order in advance. Friendly service. Limited and timed parking nearby. Decent prices.

It’s conveniently located near the Ohio Theater and Scioto mile but the food is just so so compared to other Condados locations. I order two tacos with onions and cilantro and the were pitifully onioned with no cilantro. The service was just okay, our food came out very fast which was nice but we had to wait a while for drink refills and for our check

Went in with my now fiancé for some of my favorite rango tango tacos! It was busy but we found a spot at the bar and was promptly greeted by Kristen asking what we’d like. I immediately ordered (we were starving) and she got it right in. It came out so quick and was delicious. Kristen served us the rest of the night and was very attentive, personal, and gave great recommendations. Awesome place, better service!

This is a very Americanized taco joint, nothing remotely near authentic. Food was eatable, but surprizingly flavorless. We are not locals. We online ordered the taco bowls for takeout. Website ordering is well designed. Orders were ready when we arrived, and accurate. Too bad our taste buds were disappointed, as we anticipated the seasonings of real Mexican cuisine.

Actually got take out which was super easy. Have eaten there as well and enjoyed it. This time I got salad with Korean chicken and K-Town sauce 😋 on the side and it was really really good. The portion was perfect for lunch even though I think I could have eaten more. The lettuces were a nice mix and very fresh. The chicken was tender and tasty. The K-Town sauce was emptied over everything and gave it a nice kick. I look forward to trying new things on their menu.

Very sweet staff. Helpful and chill vibe. Atmosphere runs the same, felt like a cafe and restaurant at the same time. Pretty spacious for dinning in groups or individually. An unforgettable dining experience! The service was incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive—especially the lovely server with glasses (absolutely adored her!). The food was outstanding; I visited three times during my four-day stay in Columbus, and would’ve happily made it four if they hadn’t been closed on Wednesday. I tried the rice bowl with Angus beef, the signature Tiger Ramen, and the pop fries with beef topping—which were so generously portioned, they could easily be considered a full entrée. Thank you all so much for the amazing hospitality. Wishing you even more happy and satisfied customers in the future!

Laylas Kitchen is a cozy Indian restaurant located in Columbus, Ohio. It offers traditional Indian dishes and a weekend lunchtime buffet. The restaurant has gained a reputation for providing high-quality service and sumptuous original Indian cuisines made with fresh ingredients. The warm ambiance and welcoming staff make diners feel right at home. Customers can enjoy a variety of homestyle dishes in a fun and exciting atmosphere at reasonable prices.
Tonight, we visited Layla's Kitchen Indian Restaurant, 6152 Cleveland Ave, Columbus, OH 43231. I was thinking it was a buffet (which I definitely don't need), but that's Thursday-Saturday, 11-3. Anytime you walk into an Indian restaurant and they're having a big party...and you're the only non-Indian people in there, you know this place is good and authentic! The whole restaurant was packed with party-goers!. We we're shuttled into a side area where there were a few booths, and we ordered off the menu from there. Indian cuisine leans a bit spicy...I kept it to a "3" on the intensity scale, and that was spicy enough for me. Back in the day, I may have gone to "7".   😁 Layla's has been at this location for over five years. We met the owner, Suvasha, and his wife, who was also our server. She brought out Masala Tea (food descriptions below) and that was tasty...and full of ummm textures. 🙂 Our server brought out bottled water - that's a first, so we didn't order any other beverages. Our appetizer was Chicken Samosa. My entrée was Chicken Tikka Tandoori with white rice. This came out on a hot plate that sizzled for an additional two minutes with steam rolling off of it. We also had Garlic Naan. Everything was excellent and full of Indian flavors! For dessert, I had Kheer (rice pudding on the menu) and it was delicious with lots of different flavors and textures! The Indian party music was great....the place was a hoppin'! Don't expect that on a typical Saturday night. I did thank the party people for providing the music.   😁   I believe it was a baby gender reveal party, based on all the sights and sounds. I hope to get back to Layla's in the future and check out their buffet. If you're into Indian cuisine, this place is definitely worth a visit! ITEM DESCRIPTIONS Masala Tea, also known as Masala Chai, which literally translates to "spiced tea," is a popular and aromatic beverage originating from South Asia, particularly India. It's made by brewing black tea with a mixture of aromatic spices and typically includes milk and a sweetener. Chicken Samosa is a popular and savory fried pastry filled with a spiced mixture of ground chicken, onions, and various aromatic spices. It's a common snack and appetizer in South Asian countries like India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh. Naan is a type of leavened, oven-baked flatbread found in the cuisines of West, Central, and South Asia. It's particularly popular in Indian, Pakistani, Afghan, and Iranian cuisine. Chicken Tikka Tandoori refers to two closely related but distinct aspects of Indian cuisine: Chicken Tikka: These are small, boneless pieces (tikkas) of chicken that have been marinated in a mixture of yogurt and spices. The marinade typically includes ingredients like ginger, garlic, chili powder, turmeric, cumin, coriander, garam masala, and lemon juice. The marination process tenderizes the chicken and infuses it with flavor. Tandoori: This refers to a style of cooking using a tandoor, which is a cylindrical clay oven heated by charcoal or wood fire. The high heat of the tandoor allows for quick and even cooking, imparting a unique smoky flavor and slightly charred exterior to the food while keeping the inside moist. Therefore, Chicken Tikka Tandoori generally means boneless pieces of chicken (tikka) that have been marinated in tandoori-style spices and then cooked in a tandoor oven. Kheer is the traditional Indian rice pudding. It's a creamy dessert made by boiling rice with milk and sugar, and it's often flavored with cardamom, saffron, and nuts like almonds, cashews, and pistachios.

The flavor of the chicken tikka masala was some of the best I've had. Super creamy and delicious. Also loved the garlic naan. The only slight ding on atmosphere is that the bathroom could use a bit of a cleaning and some paper towels. Service was great too, though. We'd definitely go back.

Highly recommended! The food was absolutely delicious and comforting after our long journey. The owner was so sweet, friendly, and welcoming, which made the experience even better. I have been wanting to try this place and I keep forgetting about them. Tonight we got the Mix Platter with all the appetizers! It was delicious! The hot sauce is the perfect amount of spice and heat. The sweet sauce is out of this world. The mix is spot on perfection. My hubs grabbed these to go and they traveled well. He was greeted with kindness and offered a complimentary beverage- I believe it was a chai tea, which he indicated was very sweet, and good. He doesn't typically like super sweet drinks and enjoyed this one. They provided 2 spoons and 2 forms and 2 napkins. I would say we needed more napkins as the appetizers were finger items so our fingers were messy. I especially liked the onion and veg pakora, honestly it is enough for 2- the samosas very tasty and substantial. I look forward to returning for naan and main dishes.

This pizza restaurant is a clever concept that allows customers to see their pizzas being made at the same time as choosing toppings and sauces. The place is spacious with plenty of seating, and masks are provided for those who do not have them. The pizza was delicious, with a crispy crust and lots of flavour options. I would definitely recommend this spot to anyone looking for tasty pizza without having to wait long!
Was visiting Ohio & stumbled upon this awesome spot. What a brilliant concept to be able to see your pizza made while also building/adding food options to it on the spot. I also loved that you can get a big salad with half a pizza all for under $10. The place was spacious with lots of seating. You have to wear a mask, if you don’t have one they’ll supply one for free. I went in the evening so it was a little busy, had to wait for some time but the pizza & salad was delicious, hardy & definitely worth the wait. I highly recommend!

I will be reviewing the accessibility and accommodations of Blaze Pizza. The entrance is fully accessible, as there are no stairs or steep ramps. There is tons of seating that is wheelchair accessible. While waiting in line, there is a railing that can be leaned on. The menu is pretty small, which may be difficult for people with visual impairments, however there were many signs stating that online ordering is available, which may be helpful. Exits were clearly marked, with braille available. In my opinion, the drinks and garbage can were a little high for people that may use wheelchairs. Also, the restaurant was pretty loud and the environment was a bit chaotic, so if you have sensory sensitivity issues, take caution. The restaurant was well-lit and clean, and the ordering process went smoothly.

Blaze Pizza is such a fun spot if you’re craving something fresh and customizable! I really liked how you can build your own pizza with so many topping options, and everything tasted super fresh. The staff was friendly and worked quickly, so I didn’t have to wait long at all. The pizzas come out hot with that nice crispy crust, which I love.

I love blaze pizzas. In my initial days in California around 2016, I used to eat a lot blaze pizzas especially build your own ones. Very good quality, service, cleanliness etc. After moving to Ohio, I only saw two blaze pizzas shops. One got closed and the one near North high Street is loosing its charm. Because of the OSU students it is still surviving. Recently I have taken my kids and family to have the pizza and we were all quite disappointed with the way they are making pizzas and the pizza base was burnt.

First time ever experiencing it, needed a quick bite after having delivered our son to Ohio State. Very convenient to campus and affordable. Got it to go, but the feel of the restaurant was great. Need to buy more than a few to fill up as they are apparently one size only. Nice to be able to watch it prepared and literally in the oven. Would do it again.

With two convenient locations—one near Ohio State University and another in Olde Towne East—this spot is perfect for indulging in hearty comfort food. We waited a half hour, but it was Saturday prime time and there was 4 of us. Staff was all friendly and kind. Chicken and waffles caught my eye and my stomach. The fried chicken was delicious. The waffle was good but had a weirdly strong chive taste from the butter. The pancakes were delicious. I was seated at the bar and had excellent service. I ordered the Cinnamon Roll French Toast which was topped with blueberries. This place was absolutely amazing for my first time going. It was extremely busy but we ended up just sitting at the bar and I'm so glad we did. Our server/bartender was absolutely amazing. I didn't catch his name to give him credit but to the hilarious guy who gave me a blue monkey before I left, you rock! The food was delicious, service time to receive the food wasn't long at all for as busy as this place was, and all the service people were extremely kind and friendly. I can't wait to go back again!

I got the Greek omelet and it was delicious. The place is so retro with all the decorations and the staff is very friendly. Two staff members in particular are friendly I unfortunately don't know their names but one was a gentleman with glasses and in his 20s and the other young lady said she had just started there with brown hair. I believe her name is Mel or Mal it was busy and loud in the restaurant at the time and I couldn't hear her name. Both were great though!

I visited Hangover Easy on Parsons for lunch today, and unfortunately, my experience was disappointing. The food felt overpriced for the quality. I ordered two Reuben sandwiches, which were very dry, with meat that looked old, almost as if it had been sitting from the day before. The portion size was also surprisingly small given the cost. On top of that, I was charged a $1.00 carryout fee. When I asked the server about it, he wasn’t sure and guessed it was for the containers. To make matters worse, I didn’t receive my 3 cents change, even after asking for it. Overall, between the quality of the food, the unexpected fees, and the poor service, I don’t feel like I got the value I paid for.

Sushi restaurant
FUSIAN is a modern counter-serve sushi option that goes beyond the norm. With its first location opening in 2010, it has expanded to various locations across Ohio. The restaurant offers a build-your-own sushi concept with a focus on food quality, dining environment, and sustainability. Customers can choose from a pre-made menu or customize their sushi rolls with various ingredients and sauces. In addition to sushi, FUSIAN also serves gluten-free bowls and salads along with organic juices and teas.
Loved my lunch! Felt so clean and healthy. Left me energized through the day! East to order and reasonably priced. Had outdoor seating that was nice considering it's in a parking lot lol

Fusian is a great spot if you’re in the mood for quick, casual sushi with a variety of options. The food is tasty, and the best part is how healthy it is. The atmosphere is relaxed, making it perfect for grabbing something on the go or having a quick, laid-back meal. It’s a solid choice if you’re looking for something fast, fresh, and good for you. I’ve added some photos of the place as well!

At first we were hesitant because it looks like a fast food sushi place.. BUT.. ever bite was worth it! We had the rainbow roll - AMAZING - and the Spicy Salmon, was really good too! We were hungry so we also ordered a side of tempura shrimp, and it was delicious. Staff is super friendly and the place is nice, chill vibe and most importantly clean! We are definitely coming back for some more soon, next time I promise to post better photos 😅 like I said we were hungry and food was delicious, didn’t think about taking the pics before digging in.

It was delicious! The staff was incredibly friendly. My only complaint was the price. I didn't realize the rolls were big enough to feed one person (Im used to smaller rolls most places). So if you go, try not to over order because I found that easy to do! I'll definitely try it again though. The peanut butter and jelly roll rocked as a dessert option.

This was honestly one of the best customer service experiences I’ve had at a fast casual restaurant. Everyone was so kind and friendly! I met the manager and she was amazing - both in engaging with us and in the glimpse I saw with her staff. Our tofu rolls were tasty and fresh too. 10/10!

Greeted every customer as I was in the store. Very attentive and polite. Great staff! I love the customer service. Haven’t had this type of great hospitality in a while, as it has gone down over time. Food was 10/10! I’ll be back and definitely signed up for the rewards program.

My experience here was amazing. I have a very bad shellfish allergy but I love sushi. I am always nervous about cross contamination, so I am unable to get it most of time. I called Fusian to see how they were with separating food for allergies and the manager Jenna made me feel so at ease. She put in extra care with my order and talked to the cook and wrote a note about it as well. I got to enjoy good sushi for the first time without having fear with how it may have been handled. The sushi was also delicious. This will be my new go to place!

Brunch restaurant
The Whitney House is an upscale American restaurant with global fare that features modern, seasonal twists. The service was great and the server answered all of our questions. The portions were just right for a meal and we were surprised to see the chips in a flower shape!
Phenomenal brunch on a Sunday. Their outdoor seating is very enjoyable as it lets you check out what’s happening on the Main Street. I appreciated the umbrellas to shield us from the bright sun. Food was excellent - we had the cornbread, egg sandwich, hash, and classic eggs with potatoes. Very good brunch.

We went for brunch to celebrate a family birthday. The server was excellent — warm and attentive. We had a variety of dishes in our group - quiche, hash, Caesar salad, and a traditional breakfast. We also had the coffee cake as an appetizer which felt more like a dessert! The tavern and front of the restaurant and atmospheres are very different so there are options depending on your mood.
Rachel K — Google review
The goat cheese appetizer was delicious although it could use a couple more pieces of bread. The tomato soup was tasty but luke warm. The tomato jam on the grilled cheese was fantastic! I would have preferred more cheese and less onions personally as it felt more like a grilled onion sandwich than grilled cheese. The Sunday dinner pasta and shrimp Alfredo were both very good. The hamburger was ok. The burger itself was bland and the tomato jam was found to be overpowering. Our waitress was kind and very apologetic when there was a mistake with the pasta but did not ask if we wanted refills on any drinks. Overall, it was an average experience.
Jodie P — Google review
Booked a reservation to celebrate a birthday. While the table next to us was sang happy birthday and treated to a dessert we didn't get the same honor which drops the service score. We started with the pierogis and they were delicious however it did take almost 30 minutes to get them and $19 for 3 potatoes dumplings is steep in my opinion. Then we ordered the entrees and I got the philly, it was delicious however the fries pictured online and in others reviews are not what I received. I was given potatoe wedges which were varying thicknesses which I didn't love. Some were very crispy. Some just too much potato. Didn't love them. And finally we got 2 pieces of cake. It was very tasty but $12 each and no recognition for birthday was just disappointing. Overall things moved slowly and it was not busy. We were in on a Tuesday night and it took about 2.5 hours. Id say this restaurant is worth going to because things were tasty but it's not something id put into the regular rotation as it was slow and just didn't make you feel special for a special occasion but came with that special occasion price tag

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 6.6 / 10 (3 Stars) The Whitney House has both highlights and disappointments, making this one of the most contrasting experiences we’ve had in Columbus dining. The Bar: Outstanding. The back bar staff are true mixologists — highly knowledgeable in technique, liquor, and cocktail history. Watching them work and chatting with them was a delight. If I were rating only the bar, I’d give it an 8.8/10. The Dining Room: Unfortunately, the dining service was extremely poor — almost beneath the level of service you’d expect at Skyline Chili. Our server took our order, delivered food, and dropped the check with no engagement. No refills on water (despite asking three times), no follow-up on how the meal was, and no chance to order cocktails at the table because the server never returned. For a restaurant at this price point, service should lead the experience. Food: • Appetizers: The cornbread skillet was overpriced, dry, and served cold in a skillet more for presentation than taste. The pierogi were flavorful and plated nicely, but only three arrived for a table of four, and no guidance was given by the server to order more. • Entrées: The shrimp pasta and mushroom gnocchi were both very good — bright flavors, balanced vegetables, and well-prepared. A grilled lemon on the shrimp pasta would have elevated it, but overall, both dishes were worth ordering again. Atmosphere: Small and intimate, but the lighting was harsh for an 8 pm dinner. The bar area was lively but overly noisy, making conversation difficult. Overall: Great bar, solid entrées, but service ruined the evening. With so many exceptional restaurants in Columbus, we cannot recommend The Whitney House for dinner. Drinks at the bar? Absolutely. Dinner in the dining room? Sadly, no.

Easton Town Center is a large and sprawling shopping mall, with many shops and restaurants as well as a theater, outdoor concerts and holiday events. It is also home to two major department stores - Macy's and Kohl's.
Easton Town Center is hands down one of the best shopping destinations I’ve ever visited. It truly has everything you could ask for in one place—great food, entertainment, and a wide variety of stores. Whether you’re shopping for clothes, grabbing a bite, or just hanging out, Easton has you covered. The selection of shops is amazing, with everything from high-end fashion to more affordable options, making it the perfect spot for anyone looking to update their wardrobe. It’s especially great for clothing—there’s something for every style and budget. In between shopping, we enjoyed some of the best food options around. From quick bites to sit-down restaurants, the quality and variety are impressive. One of the highlights was the AMC movie theater, which made it easy to turn a shopping trip into a full day of fun. The atmosphere at Easton is clean, well-designed, and feels more like a mini city than a mall. It’s spacious, lively, and has plenty of spots to relax or people-watch. Easton Town Center is more than just a mall—it’s an experience. Whether you’re going solo, with friends, or on a date, it’s the perfect place to spend the day. Highly recommend!

If you are looking for a place where the atmosphere is defined by unforgettable natural beauty, this is it. Come for the service, the comfort, or the food, but you will stay—and return—for the view. It’s an absolute must-see, and the pictures truly do not do it justice.

My husband and I visited here for our anniversary. It was a bit confusing and difficult to navigate for first time visitors, but we figured things out. We were glad to find a good mix of familiar stores and new ones. I needed to use a wheelchair and all were accessible, but a few were very cramped and hard to get around. Overall a great place to visit. We had a great time.

Starliner Diner is a vibrant and quirky eatery located in Hilliard, Ohio. The diner offers a diverse menu with Cuban-inspired dishes featuring American and Southwest influences. It's known for its eclectic artwork that keeps kids entertained while they explore the Latin-inspired menu, which encourages them to try new flavors beyond the typical chicken tenders and hot dogs. The restaurant has been serving classic Cuban breakfasts since 1995, making it a unique dining destination in the area.
Starliner Diner’s a breakfast haven! Mofongo omelet packs bold, rich flavors, perfectly balanced 😋. Cuban toast & fluffy pancakes wow, with hefty portions. Cozy, fun vibe & speedy, friendly staff—shoutout to the bartender! Coffee’s fresh, but can overwhelm 😕. Book for holidays—pure comfort awaits!

Quirky atmosphere with great food. My son got the French toast and it was so good. It was French toast bites, so a crisp to it and delicious. I got the brisket omelet, the portion was huge! Not a huge bean person but the black beans in this omelet were so well cooked and well seasoned. All around good quality and taste and looks of interesting decor to look at. I would definitely come back!

Was taken here, by an old friend that told me I'd love it. I did. The service was quick and cheerful. Coffee just seemed to arrive and get regularly topped up. I went for the Mofongo Omelette, wow. Intense flavours, but nothing overpowering, my only complaint, probably a bit too much for my appetite, but each mouthful was an experience. A definite recommendation.
Neil K — Google review
First time there. I came for brunch. I ordered three pancakes and coffee. Coffee was good! The pancakes were huge! 10 inches across! Very thick! Yet the taste was almost non-existent. This was disappointing. I had hoped for much better. Maybe I caught them on an off day? Perhaps another item is better? Forget the pancakes and try another food item. Service was outstanding! I sat outside and received fantastic service! Good job!

If you're in the mood for elevated pub fare and creative cocktails, The Goat RiverSouth is definitely worth checking out. They frequently host live music in each of their five locations, making it a great place to catch a show. Plus, their leagues for games are definitely a hit with the locals. As for the restaurant itself, it's pretty clean and cute, with a great atmosphere. Finally, their food is Reasonably priced and always delicious - no complaints here!
Loved the atmosphere and Hannah, our waitress, was amazing! She suggested the monthly special burger and it didn’t disappoint!!! Even the manager came to our table and was so kind and engaging!! Needed some great hospitality in a city far away from home.

Great Spot for Drinks, Gatherings and Shareables. (3.5 Stars) We were in Columbus for business and a group of us decided to go out for drinks and some sharables after a long day. The Goat, River South location was within walking distance of our hotels and we decided to meet there. Our seven-person group was seated fairly quickly and ordered craft beers, cocktails, and wine. We moved on to food and ordered some sharables and some main courses. We ordered Italian Pizza Rolls, Sheet Tray Nachos, Drunken Shrimp, assorted tacos and some flatbread pizzas. I liked the Hot Chicken Flatbread and ordered the smaller size, and be warned, the smaller size is still a sizeable dish. Good thing I had some people to share it with. The service was prompt and the food, drinks and vibe were great. I would come back in the future to give this place another go and try some other dishes.
Peter M — Google review
I've been here a few times, and the service and food is usually pretty consistent. On this day, we sat at the bar. There weren't a lot of people there, so the servers were not busy. Our server at the bar was talking to coworkers, making drinks for other tables, so we waited 15 minutes before she acknowledged us by saying I'll be right there. 5 minutes later, she realized she had forgotten us again, she stops chatting and brought us menus and got our drink orders. I was a bit annoyed so I didn't order much. I ordered the baked potato tots, chicken tenders and a burger. The burger and chicken tenders were awesome. The sauce on the tots was a bit overwhelming. The white sauce was very strong so you couldn't taste anything else. It was chalky and coated the inside of your mouth. The bathroom is always clean when I'm here. Staff always greet you at the door. Great atmosphere too. This visit I had bad service but I do still recommend this place.
Ms. M — Google review
Came here for a late-night girls’ get-together. The place was basically empty because it was so late, but the front of the building and the interior decor really caught my attention. Our waiter, who I believe was the manager, was very friendly. She took some time to chat with us and suggest drinks. I’d love to come back here during the day!
Jessica O — Google review
Came in for brunch and got the Nashville hot chicken and waffles with a side of hash browns. The tenders were very small, the waffles a bit hard. The taste was decent, but with the small portion sizes it didn't feel worth the $18. The staff are all friendly so maybe just make the portions bigger.
Eric O — Google review
HORRIBLE service! I’ve never wrote a review on a restaurant if this says anything… Had amazing appetizers, got a Dueling pepperoni pizza and it was horrible. The sauce was poorly prepared & it was caked in grease. I understand a pizza will be a bit greasy on the top but this grease was on the bottom & the bottom only . Not to mention I’m still sitting here WITHOUT A DRINK! no water no nothing , I complained about the pizza they said they’d comp it, well the manager came out and asked if they can remake it , honestly I didn’t want them too but I don’t want it to seem like I don’t want to pay, I have the new pizza infront of me now that I am now trying , it wasnt good but it wasn’t as bad as the other one but the manager is awesome , she comped the cheesecake which was amazing, I definitely will be coming back just because of the manager melody :)
Kay F — Google review
The Goat was amazing! We did not have to wait for a table, and the food was fantastic. We had the birria tacos, sweet potato fries (best I've ever had), and the chicken sandwich with fries. We will definitely visit again!

My fiancé and I were here on the evening of 09/05/2025. While the food was really good, my review is mainly about the service. Brooke was our server and she was phenomenal. She was the only server that evening and she did a wonderful job attending to all the customers, making sure our drinks were refilled and checking on us periodically to make sure we were good. She handled several tables with ease AND with a smile on her face. Management was unavailable for me to speak with directly, so I am leaving a review just to say how amazing Brooke was! The food was great, but Brooke made the experience awesome and because of her, we will back!

Great food. Excellent service. I just had a first date here this past Friday. Upon making my reservation, I had stated that it would be a first date (no special requests or anything) and that Forbidden Root was "a part of this now." They fully embraced the fun of it all and we're just so great to us. Truly, it made the beginning of our first date experience so wonderful. Y'all are so very appreciated. (The entire date went really well, by the way).

Definitely a great place for microbrews, a fair selection on draft and cans. Very friendly service, our waitress Heather was great. Food was just OK. Duck and Dumplings was not as good as other people said in their reviews. Duck meat was lean, Ricotta Gnocchi was nicely soft, but the whole dish lack a good flavor. The portion was small. My husband had a double FR burger and he said it was nothing special. Beef patties were slightly over cooked. If you like sauerkraut, you will like the Pork & Sauerkraut Balls. It was delicious. This is not a place I would revisit.
Lin B — Google review
They have lots of seating options. We sat near the bar and had a great time. They have a couple non-alcoholic beers, which we love. They also offer a good selection of beer and drinks. The appetizers and our lunch choices were all delicious. The jalapeño bread was so good! It’s warm, chewy and just enough heat. We had the Cheese & charcuterie for an appetizer as well and the strawberry Basil jam was delicious. The burger was big and cooked perfectly. My Ribeye Sandwich was delicious and full of flavor! It’s smoked and comes with a sweet chili slaw and street corn mayo. Both add so much flavor to this huge sandwich. The Brussel sprouts were great as a side too. Our waiter was great too. The restaurant is located at Easton so there’s so much to do around it. Makes the location perfect! It’s a clean, fun atmosphere inside and they have outdoor seating as well. They have a fun courtyard just outside their doors. They have a weekly music series on Thursdays called Groove is at The Yard. It will feature local artists and sounds so fun!

Don’t get your hopes up. Ever since moving to Columbus, this place has been on my list. Shouldn’t have spent the time or money. We ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich and the Ramen Spiced Mac & Cheese along with the lasagna dip. All recommendations from the waiter, all popular dishes, all 3/5 stars. I don’t know why this place has such good ratings, the atmosphere is fun, but the food is subpar. The spiced dishes we got were extremely hot. After a few bites, we couldn’t taste the remainder of our dinner. Super bummed about the food and didn’t want anyone else to have false hope like we did!

We had a really great dinner experience here on a Friday evening. Staff was very accommodating and I was surprised that they were able to seat a party of 7 without a wait. The menu features an all-day breakfast selection, including their renowned French toast that’s sure to tantalize your taste buds.
The food is amazing! Try the bagel bites. Service was extremely fast even though they were busy. Well priced for the quality and service. It's a little noisy, but that's expected when it's crowded. Can't wait to go back.

Had high hopes after perusing menu online. Long line wait, no paper menus in line. Once soem arrived they were dirty. 70 dollars with tip. Granted, part of that is under estimating portion sizes which were large on most things except the vegetarian hash. Fellow diner enjoyed their food alright which was the BLT and a deep fried bagel dish. I liked the chili oil with the latter. Also their french fries they let me try them and they were really good and crispy. I got a maple latte (which was good), vegetarian hash and an avocado toast. You seat yourself and provide yourself everything you need (flatware, seasonings, etc). Most booths and surfaces were dirty, including the screen I had to touch to sign for payment. Hash was okay although it was bland and lacked firmness and color. Eggs were not cooked properly as the whites were not fully done, resulting in slimy texture. Flavor profiles were good. Avocado toast was disgusting. Not only was it not toasted, but someone in the kitchen must have poured on lemon juice way too much. Soggy and lemony. People were nice enough, no complaints there. Just the food it wasn't worth the price points in my opinion. Maybe it was a fluke.

Absolutely ZERO seasoning. No salt, no pepper. No jam. No butter, just expensive tasteless food. Got the brekkie of champions and it was terrible and dry. Who eats plain wheat bread?, who eats Brussels with absolutely no seasoning? The bacon was the only thing with flavor, and by the time it got to me it was soggy as heck. Terrible. The strawberries were not fresh either.. hope we dont get food poisoning.
Jessica B — Google review
This is what my coffee arrived looking like, completely separated, with what appears to be syrup settled at the bottom, and the entire drink was undrinkable. The lid was messy, there was barely any ice left, and it looked and tasted like it had been sitting out for hours before being handed to the driver. Pancake was completely soggy and wet. I’m currently waiting on a refund because this was not just disappointing, it was not edible. I genuinely don’t understand how any business can confidently send this out to a paying customer. It’s a shame Uber Eats allows vendors to get away with this kind of quality. Do better.
Kerestina K — Google review
This place just doesn’t feel like a real breakfast spot. I get that everyone has their own spin on the classic breakfast sandwich, but Brekkie Shack totally missed the mark. In a city where the egg sandwich at Fox in the Snow is a favorite, this one felt like a sad attempt. The egg looked like it came from the freezer, the bacon was somehow both overcooked and floppy, and the aioli tasted more like ranch—way too much of it, too. If you’re going to brand yourself as a breakfast go-to, at least start with fresh ingredients and some attention to detail. This place feels like a half-baked passion project with no real understanding of food or branding. I won’t be back, and I definitely wouldn’t bring out-of-town guests here. It’s just not worth it.

I've ignored the bad reviews about this place for a while and still continued to eat here, as my experiences were pretty good, until they weren't, and now I get it. They served me some funky food. It happens sometimes, not a huge deal. I reached out to them first, they ghosted me. I didn't want any money back, just them not to serve people spoiled food. I reached out again, because, what kind of business owner doesn't care if they are making patrons sick?! When they did respond, they basically said - they checked their logs, and nothing was wrong on their side. They suggested it may have been something I ate prior to my visit, you know that pre-breakfast meal. Classic gaslighting. It's obvious this place has serious problems with their leadership, (or lack there of). They've lost me and my crew as patrons.

The restaurant is conveniently located just a few minutes drive from the OSU campus. As you step inside, you will be welcomed by the warm and inviting ambiance. The well-lit interior is immaculate and features a charming decor that sets the perfect tone for a delightful dining experience. The friendly staff is always ready to help and make your visit pleasant. The menu offers many options to cater to everyone's taste buds, including a special kids' menu. If you prefer to dine outdoors, the restaurant provides limited but cozy outdoor seating. Overall, it is a must-visit spot for anyone looking for a delicious meal in a welcoming and comfortable setting.

I said I'd give em 30 days to show a proper Bloody Mary. Deadlines didn't accommodate. I don't like to bash or rate low unnecessarily l.. but... My first reaction walking in was.. there's a pressure washing contractor working 10 feet away with an unmuffled generator and the 12 foot garage door like opening was open. Aside from food safety and contamination with any breeze and airborne debris kicked up steps away from the majority of available seating within the facility, it presents a noise nuisance and potential trigger. For example a Marine Corps veteran with severe tinittus. I gracefully bowed out of my party and cautiously interrupted a enthralling conversation amongst staff to request the door to be shut. The food was what it was. However, the primary conniption I had was, Brekkie exudes, hip, vibes, brunch, and modern. With that the Bloody by admission and agreed of an unnamed staffer was vodka and tomato juice. No spice, no body, no bacon, no celery. The bathrooms and. Floor were also being washed as I tried to eat. I chatted with employees and asked about the syrup conspiracy from a reddit post. Sadly the Mrs. butterworths was in plain sight.

Yogi's Hoagies & Dairy Bar is a nostalgic spot that has been cherished by families for decades. The place has retained its classic charm, offering a friendly and fun atmosphere reminiscent of the 50s. While waiting for their freshly prepared food, guests can enjoy puzzles and games. The new owner, Alicia, seamlessly transitioned into her role after working at the establishment for two years. Despite some hiccups with overcooked garlic bread, the Franken-Hoagie received high praise.
Yogis Hoagies is an excellent venue to host small parties. I had the privilege to celebrate my master’s degree achievement at Yogis Hoagies this summer. The location was easy for guests to find. The restaurant was perfectly designed to decorate and stage for a party. The food was prepared fresh as my guests consumed it. The staff were very warm and welcoming. The owner, Alycia, out did herself with creating an inviting and relaxing atmosphere to celebrate with our family and friends. A big thank you to Alycia and her staff for all their hard work to make the celebration truly memorable.

Stopped in with some co-workers for a quick bite. After walking in we were greeted by both of the staff members behind the counter which was pretty cool, very personable staff, we let them know it was our first time and the gentleman came out from behind the counter and took time explaining the differences between the subs. I landed on the Meatball sub with homemade sauce. The bread was nice and soft and the meatballs were pretty tasty. My coworkers chose the Spicy Italian, I was able to cut off a 4” piece, both subs were pretty good, I liked the Italian a little bit more but you can go wrong with either one. The atmosphere was very cool. They had a display with older (my generation) items such as an old 8 track, beer cans from the 70’s and 80’s. Just an all around cool experience. Definitely stop in and check this place out.

I love generational family-owned businesses and saw this place has been running for 47 years so I had to try it. The atmosphere inside is very retro with decor, and there is a remarkable display case of gifts that visitors have brought since their opening. The employees were extremely nice and gave a feeling like you were at your own family’s restaurant. The menu has a good variety of things, including bagels, pasta, pizza, and of course, hoagies. For being open for 47 years, I didn’t have the best experience. They offer various discounts, and when I tried using one they said it was only for my item that I’m going to eat and not for the whole order. I ordered two hoagies, a side of pasta, and garlic cheese bread and they only discounted one hoagie. Another place they nickel-and-dimed me was charging extra for marinara with the garlic bread, which they forgot to include in my order. The pasta came with marinara, which tasted flavorful of fresh tomatoes, and I’m hoping that wasn’t the marinara I paid for, otherwise, they sell naked pasta. I ordered a Salisbury steak and the Franken hoagie. The latter wasn’t bad but the steak tasted like a flavorless slab of meat one might find in a penitentiary. The garlic cheese bread also felt like it had a bad balance of its ingredients. Maybe one day I’ll give them a second chance, but I’ll have to go through my order to make sure it is all there.

Everything about this place is simply awesome!! The food is always hot, fresh, and well made, but what makes it even better are the people who own/work here! They are the friendliest bunch around. This is our go to place for lunch and it never disappoints!!!
Michael K — Google review
The bread was very good. It was so soft. Got the meatball sub and the meatballs lacked flavor. My fiance got the garlic steak sandwich and it was odd. Tastes like a frozen meat patty and some jarlic didn't care for it very much. The staff however was very friendly which gave this a higher review than I feel the food was worth.
Shannon W — Google review
Yogi’s Hoagies was a lovely Italian restaurant with many Italian style decorations and classic dishes. I tried the lasagna combo coming with a side salad, a bread with butter, and a can. It was cheap but the size was small. The lasagna tasted not good. There was a small amount of meat and the flour was not soft. Side salad was mediocre with a small size. Their pizza, sandwich, or pasta might taste better than the lasagna. Service was great and WiFi was available.
Vincent L — Google review
I got a sub. It was just ok. My buddy got a personal pizza and he said it was just ok. It's advertised as having ice cream. They didn't have any. Guy at the counter was nice but we waited at least 10 min at our table for our drinks. While others came in to pick up food. Kinda cool pictures on the walls and decor. But it all looked dirty inside. My buddy with a walker needed to use the restroom. It's behind the counter and he uses a walker. There wasn't a clear path to get to it and the staff didn't care or try to help. I tried to move things in the way but we gave up. I saw the back of the kitchen. Eww...I won't go again.

Decided I would hit up Yogi’s Hoagies this evening. I met the new owner Alicia, she took over the business in April. She’s been working there for around two years, so I would say it was an easy transition for her. On to the food. I ordered the Franken-Hoagie and the Garlic Bread. First the bad, the Garlic Bread was way over cooked, crunchy to the bite. It definitely took away from the flavor of the bread. On to the positives. The sandwich was phenomenal. The Franken-Hoagie is A Monster Hoagie, filled with Salami, Ham, Turkey, Roast Beef & Provolone with Tomatoes, Banana Peppers, Onions, Olive Oil, and Oregano! This all comes on what I believe is maybe a bun from Auddino’s. The so much flavor to it, gets no better. And they definitely priced right. There is definitely room for eat in parties. The place has a lot of memorabilia. Even a picture of Captain Kangaroo . I definitely will have to check out some of the specials. Lasagna and Spaghetti. So if you want a filling sandwich this is definitely the best place to go.

Bakery
Nestled in the charming Bexley neighborhood, Cherbourg Bakery is a delightful haven for those seeking gluten-free and nut-free treats. This vibrant bakery radiates warmth and cheer, making it an ideal spot to enjoy a cozy morning with a cup of pour-over coffee alongside their scrumptious pastries. The menu boasts an array of traditional favorites reimagined without gluten or nuts, including ginger snaps, cream puffs, and their renowned double lemon bars—an absolute must-try!
I finally got here early enough to have a lot to choose from (10:00am on a Saturday). With everything being fresh baked daily, the offerings are always changing / they’re running out / new things are available. When we were choosing, they pulled out a fresh pan of butter biscuits (which were still hot from the oven and delicious). The service is always great.
Dottie M — Google review
This place offers and incredible variety of gluten free offerings. We got several items to try different things and were not disappointed by anything we got. We found the prices to be incredibly affordable given most people often up-charge for GF items. We found the quiche to be particularly incredible. I’d recommend the caramelized onion option. I also really enjoyed the seasonal peach coffee cake. The owner’s husband helped us and was engaging and patient with us while we decided what we wanted to do he also walked through and explained what each of the items were. This is a treasure for people like me that can’t have gluten. Will come back for sure.
Benjamin F — Google review
This is best gluten free bakery I have ever been to. The crust on the quiche is flaky and the filling is delicate. The donuts don’t even taste gluten free. The staff is friendly, welcoming and kind. The vibe is relaxed. And bonus- the prices are reasonable.
Dina S — Google review
I have several few food sensitivities, so I messaged with them in advance and they were able to accommodate my needs with about 9 options! I picked up my order and everything tasted amazing! They were all very friendly, as well! Highly recommend!
Erin G — Google review
I cannot put into words how excited I was to find a bakery that is gluten free AND dye free. I purchased four items, the lemon bar, chocolate chip cookie, carrot cake slice and donut. The donut wasn't quite to my taste but the texture was perfect. I loved the other 3. I will definitely be returning.
Krystal J — Google review
Love this bakery! The sun-dried tomato egg strata, butter biscuit, and apple pie bar tasted like homemade--delicious. Everything looked so good that we were having a hard time deciding what to get. If someone didn't know this place was gluten-free, they would not guess it! The atmosphere is very sweet and cozy. Looking forward to coming back! :)
Sarah K — Google review
Great atmosphere with an outdoor patio. Gluten free brownie, quiche and KEY LIME PIE were delicious! Lattes were good as well. The prices are very reasonable.
Joe C — Google review
Loved the vibe, friendly staff, and a great assortment of classics but gluten free. The presentation of the food as well as the flavor of both the savories and sweets was excellent.

Nestled in the charming historic German Village, G. Michael’s Bistro & Bar is a delightful culinary gem that showcases the best of regional American cuisine. With its chic wood-and-brick decor and inviting patio, this restaurant offers a cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere perfect for any dining occasion. The menu is a celebration of locally sourced ingredients, featuring an array of dishes that cater to diverse palates—from hearty beef and pork options to vegan-friendly selections.
Visited for my girlfriend's birthday. One of the best restaurant experiences I've had. Our server was excellent. Stopped by exactly when we needed him and was very friendly. The food was just as good. The rack of lamb was cooked perfectly and the goat cheese mashed potatoes had a wonderful taste. The lemon tart dessert was one of my all time favorites. Light, but delicious. On the way out, every employee we walked by said goodbye which was nice.

The service is all around fantastic and the staff is super attentive. The food is very well done and each dish has a unique twist. Street parking can be a hassle, but they offer reasonable valet parking. Happy to see a business like this stay alive in such uncertain times. Thank you for a great meal and first visit!

We have slowly gotten around to uncovering all of the Central Ohio eats, and stumbled upon my new favorite here recently. First off, this is a place where classic food service and atmosphere still thrive. Our server (Carl) years in the business, so attentive and sincere, made perfect eye contact; he was exceptional. The food was just so good, every single thing was perfectly cooked, one of the more memorable Columbus meals I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to come back, I don’t have much else to say except everything was perfect through and through.
Nicholas H — Google review
First time here and was very impressed. From the welcoming and professional staff in the front of the house to the well prepared dishes that came out of the kitchen. We had the veal osso buco and sauteed scallops with grits. Both were fantastic and cooked perfectly. Was a bit loud in the dining room for a romantic dinner but overall it was a good experience and we will be back.
Den — Google review
I’m sure the experience of dining in makes an occasion more special and perhaps the food more enjoyable, or maybe it’s the addition of a great dessert! Regardless, the food didn’t impress me as much as I was hoping. I ordered to go the shrimp & grits and the seared scallops with pork belly. The grits were delicious, but overall the dish was soo salty, I couldn’t bear to finish much of the meat without more and more water. The scallops were delicious as scallops are with a lemon dressing that was enjoyable; but the pork belly was an end slice that was overcooked and instead of a melt-in-your-mouth styled pork belly, it was a chew-through with the fat not soft but rubbery.. Other menu items might fare more flavorful for the price.
Sophie W — Google review
Loved this place. Cozy and romantic. Our dinner was excellent. Service was fantastic. Gave 4 star due to Appetizer. Felt the calamari was dry. We will definitely be back to try other dishes.
David B — Google review
Wonderful anytime of year but the Restaurant Week menu was amazing. The duck burgoo was spicy and satisfying. The trout was perfectly cooked and the lemon gingersnap was the perfect ending. And John at the bar makes some of the best cocktails. The Cardi Bees Knees, so good.

If you're looking for a vegan-friendly meal, Portia's Diner is the perfect option. They have a wide variety of dishes, and the staff is super friendly and attentive. Plus, their breakfast is unbeatable - make sure you don't skip out on a visit!
Totally Organic kinds. Menu is completely meatless and has it own substitutes. Like omelettes are made of tofu, sausage is made of mushrooms and many other items are plant based. There is no dairy, coffee is served with soya/almond nondairy milk. Server/host is excellent, she was so humble, sweet and provides good suggestions to make the right choice in the menu basing one’s food interest. There are chocolates, cakes and other snacks which are all organic made. Small breakfast restaurant. basement has the restroom, recommendation to keep the restroom dry. Ambience of the restaurant is filled with nice money plants and lucky bamboo plants. Overall, good experience eating here.
Rohini Y — Google review
We ate at Portia's diner for the first time today. My husband ordered the spaghetti and meatballs special. It was $14 for a really small portion - it was barely larger than the small salad that came with it. He said it tasted fine, but he was still hungry. I had the breakfast sandwich with bacun and home fries bonus and the mac-n-cheeze side. The sandwich was really very good but slightly pricy -at $11 or 12. The Mac-n-cheeze was good and $6. I had coffee. Service was good. Really, our only complaint was how expensive it was. Well over $40 after we left a top and we had to stop at a grocery store on the way home so hubby could get more food as he was still hungry.. My husband probably won't come back. UPDATE:. We went back and both my hubby and I ordered the yum burger and they did not disappoint. They were really good burgers. We shared a Mediterranean salad and it was top notch as well. Thank you Portia's, for making it right! We appreciated the service and excellent food.

Amazing breakfast. Perfect amount of food, great variety of hot sauces, kept me full honestly like all day. Don’t skip out on visiting here. Plus the service was amazing (see our waitress posing in our selfie)

So glad we got to check out the new Portia’s Diner on opening weekend. I had the veggie burger and home fries, and my husband had the breakfast bowl. We finished brunch with a chocolate chip chickpea cookie! We’ll definitely be back!
Gail M — Google review
There's a lot of street parking available and if you live in the area I highly recommend Portia's! Or heck, if you're just visiting the area too it is a must stop An absolutely fabulous selection of food, great service, cozy atmosphere... It is a smaller place so heads up if you're set on dining in! We went on a Sunday morning and snagged one of the last tables. The food was fresh and delicious!

When a plant-based girl crazing a waffle stumbles upon a place like this. Nice, quiet, and good food. Try the breakfast plate. The tofu scramble, potatoes, and 'sausages' were AMAZING.
