Thai restaurant
Restaurant
Wild Rose Northern Thai Eats is a family-owned restaurant in Bend, OR, offering a vibrant and inviting setting to savor regional specialties from Northern Thailand. The menu features authentic dishes like Sukiyaki noodles, green curry, and moo gratiem, all prepared from cherished family recipes. The restaurant provides an immersive experience of traditional Northern Thai cuisine that engages all five senses. With its popularity, making reservations in advance or ordering ahead for takeout is recommended to enjoy their delectable offerings.
Som tum tod (fried papaya salad) was so unique and delectable. The khao soi noodles with beef brisket and the curry basil noodles were so tasty that we stopped talking to slurp them down. If you like spicy food, 3-4 is a good level to try. The Thai lager from boneyard pub was a classic crisp lager, no specific Thai flavors there. Service was blazing fast and attentive. We arrived 15 mins early to our reservation and they accommodated us immediately. We'd be regulars if we lived in Bend .

Tried the fried papaya salad here — something I didn’t even come across while visiting Chiang Mai! Crispy, tangy, and totally unexpected — a real hidden gem of a dish. The food brought back memories of Northern Thailand with its bold spices and deep flavors, but still managed to surprise. Every cocktail was well balanced, and the whole dining experience felt warm, vibrant, and authentic. Wild Rose nails that local feel with a twist.
B V — Google review
This is undoubtedly one of the top-rated spots in Bend and a must-visit. The food feels authentically Thai, with vibrant, well-balanced flavors. The Som Tum Tod (fried papaya salad) is a standout—crispy, tangy, and perfectly sweet and sour, making it a must-try. The glass noodles (Sukiyaki) and Kao Sui were also excellent, full of flavor (We ordered spice level 3, which was just right for us). Service was outstanding, with our server Willis being exceptionally friendly and courteous.

YUM! 😋 food here was phenomenal. Place gets busy and isn’t real big so make a reservation if you can. Crazy how fast the food came out and was piping hot. Everything tasted fresh and absolutely delicious. Lots of flavor. Good level of spice. Great for date night!

This is the BEST Thai restaurant I have EVER been to. Service was QUICK. My server Ryan was awesome!!! My drink amazing. They made it extra strong too👏🏻 My food …. SOOOO GOOD I’m still eating it but had to stop to give this review THANK YOU
Jordyn J — Google review
We ordered Curry Basil Noodles! It was very delicious! Loved it! We went in the afternoon so there was no waiting time. If you are planning to go for dinner, there might be a waiting time of approximately 30 minutes.
Shivani J — Google review
One of the best Thai food we ever had. The deep fried papaya salad is unique. Probably a different take to it but it’s still really good. The kao soi is very tasty and also the stir fry curry noodles.
Jason M — Google review
I grew up surrounded by different kinds of delicious Asian food, so it's quite easy for me to be disappointed by the options available in cities that don't have a lot of Asian people, like Bend. I was initially skeptical about Wild Rose as well, especially upon entering the trendy-looking restaurant in the downtown area, but ended up giving the restaurant a chance with my partner anyway. I'm glad I did, because the food is wonderful. I appreciate Wild Rose for sticking to their specific Thai cuisine, not catering to simply offer exactly what is popular, like the fan favorite dish pad thai. They do have a lot of different dishes to offer, including delicious curries, noodles, and stir fries on their menu. They also have an affordable lunch menu, from which my partner and I ordered. I got the house curry, which was very satisfying. Service was pretty quick during weekday lunchtime, and waiters were efficient and nice. The atmosphere of the restaurant is comfortable and clean. I really liked eating here and would love to do so again.

Bakery
Breakfast restaurant
Coffee shop
The Sparrow Bakery Northwest is a popular and lively family-friendly bakery located in Bend. Established in 2006, it has become a must-visit destination known for its signature item, the Ocean Roll. This cinnamon roll-shaped pastry made from croissant dough filled with cardamom and sugar is a favorite among locals and tourists alike. The bakery offers an assortment of home-baked goods including Parisian macarons, coconut macaroons, and other pastries.
Popped in to see what all the hype is about. What's this whole "Ocean Roll" thing?🤷🏼‍♂️ Got mine to go cause I don't got time to sit around with all you people! Well... Well it's pretty awesome. It's like a croissant and a cinnamon roll had a baby in an East Indian spice market! 🤯This one item could be your whole business plan. Maybe it is? I'll probably never know cause every time I come back I'll be getting the same thing, "Ocean Roll please" 🙏🏻💥🙌🏼. Sooooo good 😋😋😋!
Carl O — Google review
This bakery opens at 8 AM, and by the time we arrived around 8:10 AM on a Sunday, there was already a line for orders and a few tables were taken. So, if you're on a tight schedule, I’d recommend coming as early as possible. We ordered the Ocean Roll, both bacon and non-bacon sandwiches, and a cappuccino. The coffee took a while to be served, so keep that in mind if you're in a rush. The sandwiches were good, and the croissant was fresh and flaky — though a little seasoning on the avocado would have made it better. I didn’t personally enjoy the Ocean Roll, but my husband liked it. It was fresh with a sweet, subtle cardamom and cinnamon flavor. The place itself is cozy and beautiful, and the staff is friendly and welcoming.
Anu R — Google review
The food is as good as they say it is, the ocean roll and coffee are really great, and the breakfast sandwich with arugula aioli is almost an experience on par with eating mac and cheese for the first time. Service is astoundingly fast for how much business and orders they take, went on a Saturday morning during a concert series and this place was pumping stuff out. Phenomenal. This place has a great look, and is great to meet up with friends or family, and there are dogs all around the place if you enjoy the puppy pals.
Devin ( — Google review
My 2nd time in Bend and this place is a must! The food is so good and the treats even better. This time I got the lemon tart, but last time I got the chocolate caramel one and it has lived on in my memory ever since. I want to try their drinks soon as well. The coffee is strong and flavorful. 10 out of 10
Megan W — Google review
It could not have been any worse. I hardly ever write negative reviews about local businesses, but this one really annoyed me. We were brought to Sparrow Bakery by people who had spoken highly of it. There was even a line out the door and lots of people seeming to enjoy their food. I walk in with my family to look at the menu and am taken back by the prices. I wanted to wait until I had had a chance to dine here to see if they were justified, sometimes portions can be large. We order our meal which was a bagel w/ lox, seasonal fruit cup, and poblano breakfast muffin and wait. 15 minutes go by and still no food, although others in our group had gotten theirs. We ask a girl behind the counter who says it is being made right now. According to her, "The fruit bowl is being prepared fresh for us." Another 15 minutes go by and still no food. I go to ask her again and now with an attitude she says they lost our ticket. She offers to make our food now and to refund it but says it will take 5-10 minutes. Within 2 minutes this pathetic little cup of fruit is brought out in a coffee cup. I attached the photo in case you wonder what $8 will get you here. I have seen better presentation on an airplane. Then the food finally comes out, pretty sure my sandwiched was microwaved 30 seconds before as it had the chewiness of a leather glove. The bagel and lox had pickled onions on it, as if we were having tacos or something. The same girl brought our food and could not have been ruder. Not a single ounce of remorse. I don't know if she was having a bad day, but it was some of the worst customer service I have seen. Even if it had come on time, the value is just not there. I am sure people will keep buying it though. Just not me.
Chris H — Google review
Have loved this place for years, but the life span has apparently run its course here. I tried to order the famous Ocean Roll, but was told they were sold out. Then the people two spots behind me in line throw a fit and mysteriously 6 Ocean Rolls appear from the kitchen. But that's not the end. We ordered a hot Matcha latte, wait 20 minutes, and found chunks of unprocessed matcha powder floating throughout. The food arrived, 48 minutes after ordering, the breakfast sandwich was the third monstrosity to arrive. The bacon was burnt black, the aoli was a joke and there was enough arugula to feed an army of rabbits. Then there is the croque. Essentially on Wonder Bread. Uncooked Safeway ham and burnt black cheese meet enough mustard to cover an Octoberfest. RIP Sparrow, we won't be back.
Bradley B — Google review
Very impressive to see how packed it was at 8am on Sunday. lt almost felt like it's the only breakfast place opened in Bend. It was so busy that all available tables was left dirty for next customers. Very delicious sandwiches!.
Monika S — Google review
Excellent bakery, espresso, friendly staff. Clean and tidy. A lot of 4 tops, and space for individuals working on laptops. Main complaint was the crowding at times... there was a kibe to order. Go figure!

Cafe
The Victorian Café, affectionately known as The Vic, is a laid-back eatery in Central Oregon that offers a diverse menu of refined breakfast fare and creative food combinations. Since its reinvention in 2002, it has become an institution known for its legendary Bloody Marys and award-winning 'Manmosa' crafted with Victorian Cafe private label champagne. With patio seating and a full bar, it's a popular brunch spot for both locals and visitors.
Hefty portions, savory goodness, and coffee like a waterfall. This place has hype, but it is deserved. Also, they have many good things, but the hash is super duper good. Service was absolutely amazing and very thoughtful, and the ambience is like you are at your g-ma's house and she is an amazing breakfast cook, like too good.
Devin ( — Google review
Dog friendly patio scored the most points, lol. In all seriousness, the service, food and atmosphere was amazing. The patio was covered where we sat, and had a strong overhead heater. The staff was super sweet, was nice to our dog and made sure we always had water and coffee. The food came out promptly and was delicious 😋 The Bloody was loaded, highly recommend.
Lora L — Google review
We arrived on a Tuesday morning about 30 minutes after opening and there was only one other table with customers, so not busy at all. I would describe the Victorian Café as an ok spot, but overpriced. A cup of VERY strong black coffee for $5, and a breakfast plate for $20. Flavor was fine - nothing novel or unique, just good food - but portion sizes were underwhelming. Basically not a great value. Also, I was looking forward to a scone, but they didn’t have any made that day. That was disappointing. We may try them again, but there are several other spots in town we’ll want to hit first.
Jason O — Google review
The food was amazing, I had the eggs Benedict, which was my first time trying it, and I was very happy with my choice. The ham and the potatoes were very good as well. For my drink, I had the citrus strawberry lemonade, which was refreshing. I was not a fan of the service. The hostess was not very friendly. She sat myself and my two sisters in the sun. On a very hot day, when there were other spots available with shade. We asked to move, and she said it was fine and didn't help us move our waters or utensils or menus. She simply walked away. We waited about 2 hours to get our food while we saw other people being served that came after us. This was my sister in laws birthday brunch we planned for her, and it was disappointing.
Sarai S — Google review
The food was amazing. Loved the potatoes they served. And their pancakes are delish! The inside is so quaint but snug. Some of the booths are a challenge of you're tall but there are other options The staff is oh so kind and courteous. And attentive. Great restaurant. Highly recommend

Experience brunch goals at the Victorian Café in Bend ✨ We snagged a sunny patio seat on a crisp fall morning and went all in—Green Hornet omelet, fluffy French toast, and the star of the show: a blood orange Mid-Mosa (yes, it’s a bigger mimosa, and yes, it’s glorious). Perfect food, perfect service, perfect vibes. Highly recommend adding this Bend staple to your brunch list. 🥂🍴🍂
Brett A — Google review
I visited this restaurant for breakfast and it was really good. I arrived just before it started to get busy. People were waiting outside to get a table once our food had arrived. The waitress was nice. The portions are big, so come with an appetite. Parking can be a challenge, so be prepared to walk if the parking lot is full. They have indoor and outdoor seating, so that is an option. I would eat here again.
Nkeiruka E — Google review
A lil disappointed by how long everything takes here. Waited at least an hour for a table...ended up being sat at an empty table we had looked at for at least 20 minutes. Drinks came out quickly but food was over an hour for Breakfast... since Bend has so many restaurants most likely will not be returning to the Victorian Cafe. Breakfast should not take more than 2 hours.

Brother Jon's Public House, located on Galveston Avenue in Bend, has been serving family-friendly pub fare since 2009. The laid-back spot offers a wide beer selection, including local favorites from Bend breweries and outstanding ciders and wines. It's a popular spot for watching sports on TV while enjoying classic pub eats like burgers, ribs, spicy buffalo mac, and steak frites. The full bar keeps guests happy with delicious drinks such as blueberry cider.
I came in around 9 at night and was excited to try the "Best Mac and cheese in Bend", and I was very happy with everything. I'm glad I ordered the buffalo Mac and the tots which came with 5 good dipping sauces including the extra sriracha. I ate more than I intended, but everything was so tasty! The service from Nicole was even more impressive, kind, personable, fun, and always smiling! She offered a free cider sample to help me decide (without me asking), and for my birthday brought out a fantastic brownie sunday with heaps of whipped cream, ice cream, chocolate and carmel sauce... It could have fed 4 people!! And since it was my birthday I actually got the Sunday for free!! I'm excited to come back already, and since they are open until 10 every night, I will come here again and again! Thanks again Nicole, you've earned a customer for life - you and the restaurant deserve 6 stars!

The Bison Smash Burger lived up to the recommendation—juicy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. The crispy edges of the bison patty paired beautifully with the melty cheddar and tangy pickles, while the Bomb Sauce added just the right amount of kick. The fresh toppings and soft bun tied it all together, making for a seriously satisfying bite. Definitely a burger worth coming back for!
Max C — Google review
We came here because the wait across the street was 45 minutes and we were hungry. I had the bison burger and it was wonderful. My dinner guests had two different Mac and cheese dishes and one liked and one totally didn’t like theirs. We also had the buff and blue fries appetizer and it was delicious. They have a decent selection of beer and wine and some cocktail options. We did not try the cocktails. We had beer and it was cold! Waitress was super busy but did a good job taking care of us. It seems like a little local hole in the wall place but it was good.
Karen R — Google review
Place was good. Limited on parking though. There a Bar for fun drinks and table to eat and enjoy. First time there too, felt very welcome and good vibes. Great workers there. I recommend for anyone!!!
Hunter S — Google review
This place was recommended by a local and I cannot say enough good things about it! The turkey melt, clam chowder, veggie burger, and fries were perfect. We tried the rum pear cider and Paradise lemonade - both were exceptional. The service was spectacular- friendly and attentive enough to make you feel welcomed without being intrusive. The only regret is living out of state and not being able to visit regularly.
Tabitha H — Google review
Excellent food and service. I thoroughly enjoyed the sauce on the Western chicken sandwich. Additionally, the fish and chips were very flavorful.

Appetizer advertised as Jumbo Buffalo chicken wings. I got half wings and half drumsticks. 6 of the smallest wings and drumsticks I have ever seen. 1 star for that . Definitely not as advertised. Drink ordered was very weak as well. Other entree was good. Fries and BOMB sauce always good. Big let down today from one of our Go to restaurants.

Restaurant
If you're on the hunt for a relaxed, family-friendly dining experience in Central Oregon, look no further than Chan's of Bend. This charming restaurant serves up a delightful array of traditional Chinese dishes that are perfect for any occasion, including game days when cravings hit hard. With generous portions and affordable prices, you can enjoy a satisfying meal without breaking the bank or waiting long.
Nothing but a great experience.. the waitress was helpful and very friendly, she really took care of us and was able to answer my questions and even recommend some really good dishes. Food came out in order.. appetizers.. THEN meal!! Service was excellent. Prices were really good…prices don’t break the bank very reasonable and affordable. Food was delicious, and hot when it hit the table. Overall review 10 out 10. If I had to fix one tiny thing it would be when we first came in too many people trying to pay and leave as new customers coming in to be seated. Only one person trying to handle it. But we understood. CHECK THIS PLACE OUT!! Bend Oregon
Ann C — Google review
Chan's Chinese Restaurant is the premier dining establishment in central Oregon. Unfortunately, I am not a local resident, which limits my ability to frequent this excellent restaurant as much as I would like. However, I highly recommend it to local residents. Michele provided exceptional service as our waitress, demonstrating impressive attentiveness. As a visitor from New Orleans, a city renowned for its culinary scene, I wholeheartedly endorse this restaurant.
Tia T — Google review
Very good food, generous portions, good service, fair pricing, Orange chicken was very goog, doesn't have breading just meat, we (incluing my boy) really liked it that way. We had Kung Pao Chicken, on white rice, Broccoli beef with pok fried rice, all very good. hot sour soup was a bit too sweet
Bert I — Google review
Food was very mediocre. Mine was barely warm and overcooked. Very bland. Male server never said thank you or even spoke a few words. Not very friendly. Used to be good here but not now. Probably will not be back. Left without eating much of our food. Went somewhere else to eat.
JJ — Google review
by far the best Chinese restaurant in Central Oregon! I got to take my daughter here on a date. It is a favorite restaurant of our family and she was so excited to get to come. The staff has always been friendly and the portion sizes are always big enough to get to take some home to eat for lunch the next day. Plus 80% of their menu can be made gluten-free and if you let them know if there’s an allergy the cooks take care and I have never gotten sick here.
James C — Google review
This is your typical Americanized Chinese food. Lots of sauce and large portions. The food was good but dialed down in spiciness. Even the yellow mustard seemed tame. When I say large, they gave us to go boxes before we were even finished. I think I only put away a third of my dinner. Should be good leftovers. The staff was friendly, though I wonder if they were stretched thin. She was all over the place but still checked in frequently. The place is clean but the decor is pretty neutral for a Chinese place.
Anthony R — Google review
The only thing on my order that was even close to good was the spring roll. The hot and sour soup had a bunch of stuff that didn't belong and no black fungus. The garlic green beans were hammered and inedible. The pork fried rice was dry and flavorless. The only good thing was they comped my meal when they saw I didn't eat it. I would not return or recommend.
Chip S — Google review
We sat in the bar for lunch. We each had lunch specials and subbed yakisoba noodles. She had sweet and sour chicken and I had broccoli beef. I was thinking it would be nice to take some home. Ha! I had 4 meals out of my portion! My friend had 3. We were told it was good and it was proved true!!

The spot provides an authentic experience for fans of traditional bratwurst dishes with inspiring Argentinian additions. Visitors can customize their brats and toppings, making it perfect for sharing with friends or enjoying solo.
Let me start with the staff because I was greeted by the sweetest most genuine person ever. She was patient in explaining the options not only to me but I watched her explain everything with three other groups that came in after me. I ordered the burnt end Ruben combo with the sweet potato fries. The sausage was flavorful and the fries delicious. While waiting for my order she brought me some bread with the chimichurri dipping oil. So good! I also got the chocolate peanut butter cheesecake to go and yum, you won’t regret it!

This is hands down one of our favorite restaurants. First of all the staff are just amazing! So nice, helpful and friendly! The customer service is exceptional! Then there's the food. AMAZING! My wife and I eat here whenever we are in Bend. We always have the Bangers and Mash (see my pic). It is SOOOOOO good! They have awesome T-Shirts too. I love mine. So the takeaway is this: If you are in Bend and you are hungry, JUST GO HERE! You WILL NOT regret it!!!

Super tasty spot, with cozy outside seating. You order at the counter, but service is quick even when there is a line. It was pretty busy on the patio, but we still had staff making rounds checking in on things and offering table service when they had the time. The gorgonzola fries were delicious. The picture doesn't do them justice, but they were also served on a massive sheet pan. There were plenty for sharing, and of course the sausages were good too!
Melody D — Google review
Amazing food and amazing customer service. I highly advise people to give this a try. The mashed potatoes were so good and every hot dog Ive had so far is amazing. The chimichurri with bread they give you free free is good as well. That chimichurri sauce is very good
The M — Google review
What a gem! The outside does not tell the full story of a lovely family owned business with a passion for sausages. Food: Really flavorful and thoughtful created. We did an elk sausage with cheddar over a pretzel with chimichurri sauce and WOW! Explosion of flavors, so good, so interesting, so memorable. Environment: They’ve simple indoor and outdoor seating, good music playing, and we lucked into a beautiful sunny 65 degrees. We enjoyed our patio seating and how dog friendly they were, along with the free WiFi. I think we were served by the owner and he and his staff had great attention to detail and took great care of us. Drinks: The Pilsner was great but it was the Imperial Mango cider was what made me stop to review. SOOO good! It was crisp and refreshing and somehow calmed the garlicky spice in a beautiful way. Excellent hot dog place with many varieties. As a fan of Chimichurri, I was delighted by their Argentine special hot dog. The sausages are juicy and flavorful and their homemade cheesecake is excellent too.
Irene Z — Google review
The sausages are great, as well as service and atmosphere. I had Mac n cheese as a side and was rather disappointed as it was somewhat bland. However I think any of the sausages are great.

Italian restaurant
Trattoria Sbandati is a well-established Italian restaurant in Bend, offering a fine dining experience with traditional Tuscan dinners and wines. The chef's culinary expertise, rooted in his Italian heritage, brings an authentic touch to the menu. With recipes passed down from the chef's grandmother, the restaurant offers a wide range of amazing dishes that are best enjoyed with friends and family.
We enjoyed the Polpette/Meatballs and Pappardelle Alla Chiantigana Sauce. One word, DELICIOUS! The meatballs were moist and flavorful, the best I've ever had. The pasta dish was equally amazing! We went on a weekday, and it was a pleasant experience. I gave only a 4 for atmosphere because it has a crowded seating arrangement, and I would imagine on a busy weekend loud and challenging to move around. There was a table of 6 to 8 seated right in front of the door and barely enough room to walk by to exit the restaurant.
Cari L — Google review
Absolutely incredible! The homemade pasta is to die for! The desserts are heavenly! The specials are out of this world! Incredibly kind but not overbearing staff. Strict with reservations, so show up when you say you will and it will be one of the best dining experiences in Central Oregon!
Rachel F — Google review
The food is absolutely wonderful. The grilled bread is a brilliant take on it, not burnt and the olive oil and toppings are the best representation of these items. The primi and secondi options are superb and the cod in tomato sauce with bread stays in my Italian seaside dreams. Jesus that dish is majestic and addictive. The service was as expected and is great at any refills and specials delivery. Ambience is where it gets a little odd because of the location they are in, with outdoor seating before the front door and then walking into an active dining room while also trying to ask about your reservation, is a bit tough, but not their fault. Bigger spot or even a different layout, changes all of that. Cannot stress enough, this place is a gem, and if I lived in this town, I would come in probably 2 if not 3 times a month but also could be a date night or special occasion spot easily.
Devin ( — Google review
We are very happy to have found this Italian gem. We started off with the antipasta and the board was beautiful. It wasnt my favorite as the bread was a little crispy but flavorful. We both ordered the Ragu Tagliatelle. It was really impressive all around. Great flavors and pasta was cooked well. We shared the meatballs and enjoyed them. I can see why they are a favorite. However, we think 10.00 a meatball is a little steep. It did come with sautéed spinach, which was cooked and flavored to perfection. We finished sharing the tiramisu and it didn't disappoint. We enjoyed trying Italian wines and our service was superb. This isn't a cheap restaurant so I was taken aback seeing them fill water glasses from the sink (no filter seen but can't deny if it was at the bottom). I'm sure most places serve tap water but once I know, I'll request bottle. Overall, a very nice dinner and we will be back.

I had a reservation with my wife and our newborn (4 months). This restaurant went above and beyond for so many reasons. The day happened to be extremely smokey and my reservations were initially for the patio. With a newborn I was very apprehensive about sitting outside. I contacted the restaurant and they were able to move things around indoors to allow for the three of us to sit inside. Once inside, we experienced exemplary service. Food was delicious and came out in a timely manner. The bread was incredible. Towards the end of the meal, our newborn began to cry. I had to step outside to soothe him. The staff was able to give us a check in a timely manner, assist my wife with moving our stroller, and even came outside after us because we had left a binky. Thank you everyone. -aka Ken

Trattoria Sbandati never disappoints. The food is always incredible — fresh, flavorful, and clearly made with care. We’ve eaten here many times and every meal has been outstanding. The staff is just as amazing as the food — warm, welcoming, and genuinely attentive. The cozy, intimate vibe makes it perfect for a romantic night out or a small gathering with friends. It’s a true gem in Bend and we’re so grateful to have it here!

The reason of my visit was for a business dinner. My expectations were not high. BUT the end result was AMAZING experience! Each dish presented to us was delicious!!! 5++ ⭐️ highly recommended!!!

We had dinner last night, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The staff was warm and welcoming the moment we walked in, and even though the place was busy, our server took time to check on us often without being intrusive. We started with a very nice bottle of red wine, which was perfectly crisp and full of flavor. For the main course, we shared the cod in red sauce — fresh, flaky, and cooked just right. Of course it comes with the most delicious bread you could ever ask for. We also added a side of spinach which was so good! The atmosphere was cozy, with big windows, and soft music that made it easy to relax and enjoy the evening. Prices were fair for the quality, and portions were generous. Would I return? Absolutely. This is the kind of place that makes you want to linger over your meal and savor the moment.

Mexican restaurant
El Sancho Taco Shop East is a popular spot known for its Mexican street eats and margaritas. Despite some debate about the authenticity of their food, it has been consistently voted as the best Mexican restaurant and taco place. The covered patio makes it an ideal choice, especially on warm days. The casual local chain offers a variety of flavorful options, with the Sancho bowl being a favorite among patrons.
I had a chicken gordita, no sour cream. Quality ingredients, though some salsa on the side would have been nice. Passion fruit limeade was good, too.
Dennis J — Google review
The atmosphere is casual and colorful, with a dog‑friendly patio; service is generally fast, though wait times can occur. Tacos, chilaquiles, salad bowl all were awesome. One of the best place in bend and will surely visit again
Ankit D — Google review
The amount of meat you get per taco is impressive and flavorful. I love spicy food so I got the heat plate with fresh grilled serrano peppers and a spicy orange sauce with habanero in it. However it was not that spicy so I had to ask for another sauce that was spicier and I had to pay a dollar for it. I'm not mad about that I understand but you think the spiciest sauce would come with the heat plate. The only reason I don't rate it at five stars is because my meat was just on the cold side. If I lived here I would absolutely come back here and recommend everyone here.
Ashley — Google review
Very popular taco place in Bend, but it gets it hype for good reason. My partner and I tried it for the first time this weekend with a buddy and we were impressed by the quality of food for the price. They have a good selection of tacos and they're quite tasty, adequately spiced. You can get yourself a nice meal by ordering a few. If you're a picky eater like I am, the kids' tacos are plain and cheap, which I ended up getting. Their horchatas are nice as well. If you eat at this location, the vibes are welcoming and colorfully decorated, with some interesting merchandise where you order. Overall a very positive experience.

Always love the food and vibe here. Nice taco selection and love the plantains! We added the spice to turn up the heat and it was 🔥 Drinks are always great! Definitely a favorite for some quick delicious tacos & sides💯

I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I was traveling for business and hoping to try a few of the top spots in the area unfortunately, this is one I will not be returning to. 1) The service was practically nonexistent. Our server seemed uninterested and inattentive throughout the entire visit. 2) The food was overpriced, lacked flavor, and was served cold a combination that made it very disappointing! 3) The drinks were also overpriced, with portions that didn’t match the cost. To top it off, when I asked for hot sauce for my tacos, the server brought me two small, individually wrapped packets one of Tapatío and one green salsa. That alone said a lot about the overall quality and attention to detail. Overall, this restaurant fell far below expectations in every category, not a fan.
Jose G — Google review
The best tacos in town and also the best price you can eat out for in town! Really cool vibes (indoor and outdoor seating), nice staff, and awesome food. For vegetarians I recommend the veggie taco and the potato taco, veggie tostadas, and salad. My husband loves the mahi mahi, the barbacoa, and the carne asada. We both love the fried plantains. The chips and salsa are good too. The East side location has way more seating than the west side location.

Good atmosphere. The drinks were great The salsas were kinda bland the tomatillo was the best of the three. I tried the fish lengua and carnitas tacos. The Carnitas and lengua were great the fish was blah.

Hello! Downtown is a vibrant restaurant that combines Mexican and Peruvian cuisine, resulting in a unique and delightful dining experience. The menu features an array of flavorful dishes such as Nachos Cubanos, Ceviche Mixto, and Pisco Sours. During happy hour, guests can enjoy discounts on select drinks like margaritas and mojitos, as well as appetizers such as portobello quesadillas.
Hola has some really good margarita options, my personal favorites are the red cactus and the vanilla margarita! The coconut cream in the vanilla margarita is delicious! I also really enjoy the two different salsas you get with your chips! It's nice to switch it up, this is pretty unique. The service is always friendly as well making Hola a nice experience.

We lived in Bend for many years and this was one of my favorite places, so I was so excited to see it still here when we were back for a visit a couple weeks ago! I highly recommend the Marco's Pollo, so creamy and yummy without being too rich. Our group also had the portobello quesadilla and mexican ceviche, both were amazing. Service was so great, like they'd known us forever, I love that. This location is a little small, making it a bit tight for our handicapped guest, but still doable. And everyone was terrific about making the space comfortable, we always appreciate that. Can't wait to come back!

Hola! Is an amazing restraunt, good food, good service, good vibes. I've been to the one at Metolius river and Mill district previously so I had high expectations when we tried the "Downtown" one. Unfortunately the experience this time wasn't as great as the other locations. We were in a semi large group, 8 of us, seating was cramped and awkward, service was a bit uneven, they would take a few drink orders and then disappear, eventually came back for the food order, we all ordered at the same time and they eventually started bringing out dishes 2 or 3 at a time. Unfortunately one person in our party had to wait another 15 minutes for their food to come out. I ordered my favorite dish, the halibut ceviche, while it was tasty, the tiny portion really doesn't justify the price and when I ordered it at the Mill district Hola! It was about 2x the size. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves, so don't be deterred from going here, they are a great place.
Cory S — Google review
Parking was not too bad. We circle the block once and parked almost at the door. There were number of outside tables, but I like inside, and didn't have to wait. Service was very good at taking our orders, drinks, etc. A little slow came paying, but still good. Food came out fast, excellent portion, and very tasty. Kids finished their food, so that's a good indicator. Right at downtown, so you could take a walk before or after the meal. So an ice cream shop near by for some dessert after. Was visiting the area, so probably will try something else next time, but don't mind coming back if I have the craving for some good Mexican food.
Leo' T — Google review
Ate here a couple of weeks ago, and it was great! They serve standard black beans, but the rice and salsa was superb! Whatever is in the green salsa really hits the spot. I liked the twist. The steak used in my quesadilla was excellent, and my boyfriend enjoyed the chicken in his dish. The cocktails were delightful as well. It was a little overpriced, but we expected this of a downtown place

I ordered a carne asade burrito to go. Added grilled veggies to it, pico, and guacamole. Asked for it to be wrapped in tinfoil so I could eat while I drove.. Chips and salsa while I waited was super yummy. $22.00 and I was out the door. On the road again, opened the container to find a 7” burrito wrapped in tinfoil foil. Favorful, but WAY TOO SMALL for $22.00

The cafe is known for its buttery scratch-made scones and an array of gluten-free options. With high ceilings and ample natural light, it's the perfect place to relax with the Sunday paper.
Food was great! Sandwich was so tasty, I never had same before. Cake was also good. Cafe Latte was ok, a bit too roasted coffee, but that's depends on your preferences. I was there in the morning, 9 am, and had impression that staff was already a bit tired. Seems it's a popular place!

Nancy P’s is hands down the best bakery in Bend! We ordered a variety of pies and every single one was the best we’ve ever had. Loved this little cafe! Their pesto quiche was delicious! The Zebra Mocha was yummy too! I tried the mango-peach-pecan scone and didn’t like it, it was too large and flour-y. The staff are really nice and the glass art in here is so cool!!

Nancy Ps feels feels like a warm hug from the moment you walk in. The cozy atmosphere, the incredible staff, and the most intentional and delicious food & treats. The owners are the most loving and authentic people. This place will forever be my #1 bakery!! Try the breakfast pockets, sugar cookies, wonder bar, and soups and sandwiches. You will not be disappointed. I also love that they source local and organic ingredients.

I’ll admit, I was a little shocked by the price of my single slice of quiche, and quite disappointed by the three bits of eggshell I found in it. My friends raved about the place, so I kept my thoughts to myself as I worked gingerly through the overpriced, shell-ridden breakfast pie. However, the crust, I’ll admit, was eggsellent. Based on my experience, I probably wouldn’t go back the next time I’m in town. It’s unfortunate, for sure. But that’s how first impressions go sometimes.

The menu features a small but satisfying selection of ramen options such as the flavorful Spicy Miso, which can be customized with additional ingredients like spicy pork or vegan chili oil.
MUST try in Bend. Ordered the Tonkutsu Ramen and Pork Bun. Both were surprisingly good. The noodles were perfect. Everything tasted fresh. Loved the generously thick perfectly cooked pork slices. Flavor was incredible. Reasonably priced. Service was very good. Overall, had a good experience. Definitely recommend this place.

Miyagi is a great little shop for anyone who wants Ramen, while maybe wanting a little more of Japanese fare. Service is prompt and quick, but they won't exactly wait on you hand and foot, but they let you know what to do with your bowls/sticks when done eating (which is a huge plus considering almost every restaurant these days does a mix of *fast-casual* and you guess if you need to bus your own or not). The ambiance gives me the vibe of being in a corner shop to get quick food and go, it will be slightly messy but taste phenomenal and quickly come out. This spot also has very friendly staff.
Devin ( — Google review
Plant based Smoked Hazelnut Mushroom Ramen was so flavorful. I’d had some random vegan ramen other places that left me wondering what the fuss was about ramen. Very rich, thick broth, tangy roasted(?) tomato slices, spiced up tofu, fresh bok choi and bean sprouts and teensy mushrooms packed a punch. Filling and delicious. Spouse had the spicy miso. I was worried he would be disappointed, but instead he talked about it the whole walk back to our hotel.
LA K — Google review
The service was not great. The food was overpriced for the quality of it. Appetizers came out after the main food. Not much flavor in the ramen. The workers were not personal or caring. They also have mandatory fees on top of the food prices. Not a great experience

Really yummy gluten free fried rice. Different and tasty! Also tried the kids ramen for the littles and they ate it up!
Marissa F — Google review
The food is delicious however they are too busy now. They desperately need to redo their layout with the register at the other end of the counter so that customers aren't bunched up in front of the door and a greeter/someone directing customers would be helpful so that people who.placed online orders aren't just standing there wondering what to do or where their order is. I hope that the owners will address these issues so patrons and staff alike can enjoy the atmosphere.

Bo’s Falafel Bar, located on the outskirts of the Century Center, offers more than just falafel. In the mornings, they serve a variety of bagels and sandwiches, including vegetarian options and classic hashbrowns with unique toppings. For lunch, their build-your-own bowl option is a standout. Bo's has gained a devoted following for its delicious food and vocal support for marginalized groups.
This is literally the best bagel place in town. Been here 4 times and it's always bomb. The staff kicks ass, even when it's packed they get the food out quickly and efficiently. The bagels are freshly made and you can definitely tell. The staff is so friendly and awesome. The salty honey rosemary bagel is SO divine, omg. The decor is absolutely adorable and the vibes are truly immaculate. They also have the best prices for the best quality of bagel and I've been to nearly every place in town. This is the only bagel place in town that doesn't skimp on the cream cheese either, THANK YOU FOR THAT. If you haven't been to Bo's, you are missing out, go there right now, seriously.

I have been coming to Bend for years and this was my first time trying this place out. I have to admit I was so hungry that I forgot to take a photo of the dish before I started to eat. The location was a little confusing with Google maps but with a minor detour I found it! There is decent parking space as long as the whole complex is not super busy. The facility itself is cute and works with both indoor and outdoor seating. They have good options for food and drink for vegan and meat eaters alike. I used their menu to identify my choices and the cashier helped me to pick the options that would best suit my needs - vegan here. I like that the toppings list was large. Going with a pre set of toppings was easy and less need to think about what works for tastes. They did offer kombucha but it was a higher sugar content than a normally drink so I stick with water. My meal was ready pretty quickly. It started to get busy after I ordered but they seemed to work thru that quickly. My only knock was that I requested no tahini and yet it was still covered in it. It is not an allergen or else I would have sent it back - it is a choice and it tasted good, just wasn’t what I had asked for… Worth coming back and giving a try if you haven’t yet!

Great service and atmosphere for sure. Ordered to-go on a Saturday. The Jalapeño Cheddar bagel itself looked more like a toasted bun (no hole, not even a wink), with a light and fluffy bread texture. The bagel flavors were fine, but didn’t leave us with ‘omg these are amaze’. Egg, cheese, and sausage were on point. Points for Bo’s for establishing another bagel spot in town (we’re lacking). Our search continues for that dense chewy NYC style bagel.

The cowboy pizza was very tasty and the Sasquatch beer was frosty! Our server was nice just didn't stop by the table often to reorder drinks. Worth a stop after playing on the river. Patio is dog friendly which is always an amazing plus on my end!

Beer was yummy! But….the food made us sick, we checked in and they canceled us on the waitlist, we had to find our waitress after waiting for 20minutes for the tab plus bad service all night and the waitress was much more interested in the tables with younger patrons, told us it was best we got our ticking time bomb out…aka our daughter. To top it off we went for one of their Thursday night football specials and were charged full price for the beers that were supposedly included with the tacos and mini nachos.

Amazing beer, excellent food and a fun vibe. Decent prices for the area. Slow service but that's because they're always busy. Very hard to park here. I'd recommend simply for the beer alone!

Love this place! Food is always good and consistent! Had a great server that was so so nice and real. He was very attentive to us and kept the drinks full 😊 Also no wait on a Sunday for brunch is like hitting the jackpot in Bend! 🤤

My wife and I came here for our anniversary dinner. The service is great and super friendly. It's a very nice place. Not a whole lot of sitting room but they make the best of it without you feeling to crowded. I had the fish and chips and my wife had the vegan gnocchi and we split a cedar salad. The salad was great! If the croutons they used weren't house made, I would be shocked. So yummy. Highly recommend. Definitely want to make reservations if you can, but they do very well with walk-ins.

So ... The fried chicken came highly recommended and that was my initial plan... Yet as the door opened my eyes caught something that was definitely not fried chicken... Short ribs... Oh yes ... But first let's talk about the Bang Bang shrimp... Crunchy and full of the kind of flavor you can imagine yourself eating again and again and again... Oh yeah... Dungeness Crab Toast... Sweet lovin Jesus... A person might want to consider this ... Perfectly toasted and heaping with a most delectable crab (semi spicy and soooooo good) Finally... The short ribs... So tender you don't need to try to chew as it falls off the bone and melts in your mouth... Hat's off to the chef who blends elegance and simplicity A standing ovation to the staff who exuded class and comfort You feel special Taken care of Fed well... What else can I say? Oh yeah ... Enjoy!!!

We had a lovely dinner for two in a very warm booth yielding a comfortable ambience at Drake. The pomegranate vinaigrette dressing had just the right balance of sweet and savory, which gave the delicata squash and candied pecans their own cameo amidst the crisp greens and cherries served with the little gem salad. The Mac-n-cheese featured cavatappi pasta cooked to perfection, dressed in a satin coating of delicious cheeses that gave new meaning to the word savory. The main attraction was the filet mignon, dried to absolute perfection, cooked to our preference, and underpinned with an eye closing, moaning moment of pure gastronomical bliss when forking the shmeer of soft potato along with the baked potato side into our mouths. We closed the ensemble with the Drake chocolate mousse cake which was so incredible we ordered two. And surrounding this entertaining and pleasing dining experience was an incredible serving staff that paid attention and cared for our water and drinks and answered our questions with a smile on their face. In particular was our server Colten, "like a Colt 45", who cared for us from arrival to departure as if we were a guest at grandma's dinner table. We would wholeheartedly come back again to experience all that the Drake has to offer and more.

Husband recently reserved us a quaint table near the rear of this historic restaurant. The vibes were just right; full bar, open kitchen to watch the chefs cook up our meal right in front of us, aromatic & delicious scents wafting from the kitchen. All good signs. The real nail in the five-star review coffin for The Drake was the moment the Fried Chicken platter hit our table, which my husband ordered. It inspired the following remixed bars from the hit song, “Not Like Us,” by Kendrick Lamar… Please enjoy: “Say, The Drake, I hear you fry it up nice That bird so crisp, had to hit it up twice Donut holes slap, and the cocktails stun Five stars easy — yeah, that’s the one” I would like to point out that I do NOT rap. I am 5’10” and am very aware that I am a very white woman. But the fried chicken and honey-buttered biscuit was so good that it made me feel like I COULD rap. Also, the donut holes slap. I would slap a child for more of them. And that’s saying something cuz I tend to be very motherly toward children. Definitely try them. 10/10.

Amazing food!! We had breakfast: drake Benedict, croquet madam and the donuts. All very delicious and large portions. We sat at the bar looking into the kitchen and it was entertaining watching them cook! Just know if you need something you'll probably have to wave down the waitress. Had to do that each time we needed coffee, water, silverware etc. They did take the donuts off our bill since it took a while, but they were busy. We would go back!

Pretty packed on Sunday before Labor Day. Seated within a few minutes. Menu is very small and simple. Service is friendly. Crowd seems casual with families and couples. We tried the crispy chicken sandwich. It was a thick cut of chicken fried to perfection. Seasoning on it was a little lacking for some reason. Fries were shoestring style and mildly seasoned. Overall a good place. Kind of steep pricing but I see everything in Bend is very expensive.

I travel for work and have eaten dinner in 49 states. This is top 5 place I have eaten at. The food and service was beyond what I expected. I ended up getting the king salmon special and it was cooked perfect, a very generous portion size, and the sides were homemade. The seasoning was on point, the drinks were perfectly made, and Macey impressed with personality and engagement. I 100% highly recommend this establishment- you will NOT be disappointed.

Worthy Brewing Company in Bend is a popular spot known for its diverse selection of craft beers and delicious pub food. The brewery offers a wide-ranging taplist of inventive ales and lagers, often incorporating cutting-edge hop varieties. Their expansive food menu includes wood-fired pizza and fresh salads made with on-site grown ingredients. What sets Worthy apart is its full-blown observatory on the premises, making it a unique destination for beer enthusiasts.
All we can say is WOW! These folks are not just checking boxes, they are living it too. While the food (in our case a burger) was mouthwatering, it's the other experiences available to explore that makes the stop well worthwhile. Cool, clean restrooms (6 of them) accessible friendly, garden club and tour, observatory (hopservatory) in their case, live music, indoor outdoor dining and overlook decks, this place simply spells experience. We added them to our Central Oregon clean restroom directory as a result of our visit, which mind you was just to inquire about the observatory. Good job Worthy's!

I was going to stop at Deschutes but then saw this place off the road - the beautiful garden caught my eye. I found an incredible farm to table brewery with delicious beer and food to boot! Jasmine was a very nice server and gave me generous tasters, so I got to try a few of their beers before settling on the single hop Lorien which has salmon safe hops! The intentionality is very apparent here. I had half nachos and half beet salad and felt full of goodness and ready to go on with my adventure. Thanks for creating this inspiring community spot and feeding all the people and pollinators with your gardens!

Welcome to the one and only Worthy Brewing Company! After a day out with some friends and their kids while visiting town, we had the craving for food and wanted to check out a great place to eat and also have a good locally brewed beer. In the evening (or any time after dark), a wonderful treat they offer too is they actually have an observatory with a BIG telescope and a very informative operator just up a few flights of stairs and up to the 3rd story. On to the food and staff. Everyone we spoke with was very friendly and helpful, our server was great and did a nice job accommodating our requests and they even served the bottle of wine we ordered in a nice chilled container. This place is suuuper cool! They have tons of plants outside to check out, they’re growing hops right on the edge of the parking lot and they have a row of greenhouses outside. We didn’t have time ask to take a tour of the facility, but I can only imagine all of the cool things they have to share and the building is very unique and has awesome construction and architecture. They have a nice upstairs seating area with a larger round propane fire pit to enjoy and heaters on the ceiling to keep you warm on a wintery bend day. Outside on the patio they have two propane fire pits to warm up next to and a large amount of seating there too. We got a round of brews that were very tasty and fun to drink, and their hot wings were delicious! I went for a Reuben and waffle cut sweet potato fries that were super yummy! We also tried their Chef Bromden’s Reality that was a tasty take on a chicken bacon flatbread, served on a fresh cooked flatbread, straight out of their pizza oven, BOMB! They also have a kids menu, which was great for one of the little ones in our party to get a delicious burger with grapes to snack on, on the side. We didn’t get a pizza this time, but they have an amazing pizza oven in the back, hot and ready to bust out a perfectly crispy and bubbly pizza like it came out of Italy. To top the meal off, we added in a slice of their hot honey cheesecake that was a perfect treat at the end of the meal. Super delicious! If you’re interested in taking a flight of great beer or want a nice meal to enjoy either mid day or evening time, I highly recommend you check out Worthy Brewing Company! Thank you for taking the time to read my review and I wish you a wonderful time enjoying the stars, and having a delicious brew and food! Cheers! 🍻

Caught Worthy's Happy Hour to refuel after weekend warrioring. I had possibly the best blackened steelhead fish tacos. The sauce along with diced peppers, red onions and mango was a perfect accompaniment. I also bought a packet of wildflower seeds to take home and plant. Excited to check out the farmer’s market here next trip to Central Oregon and to try their gf beer.

I brought my friend who is visiting from Maine here for lunch and beer. It was excellent! We had an order of chicken wings. Half garlic Parmesan and the other half was the buffalo wings. We also had som sweet chili brussel sprouts with bacon. Delicious! The beers we chose were brewed here and were also quite tasty. Unfortunately I can't remember what it was called. Our server was Maddie. She was a delight and was very attentive. The whole experience was noteworthy!

Yikes this place has gone downhill since I last went. After this last time not sure if my family will be coming back. So no more cheese curds? And what’s with the changes to the margarita pizza? Was served a pizza with shredded cheese and some little pieces of basil on top. No tomatos, It was just like a cheese pizza. By definition, a margarita pizza has sliced mozzarella cheese and tomato’s, neither existed. You can’t call it a Margarita pizza if it’s like that… won’t be coming back. Weird menu change choices.
Jason C — Google review
Beer is great. Service is great. But they changed their Brussels sprouts. We would go there just for the Brussels sprouts, but the new recipe is terrible. The “creamy” dip is a dry clump of something not tasty. We tried to eat the brussel sprouts plain, but they were too salty. Very sad. Why change something that everybody loved.

Drawing inspiration from the rich farms, vineyards, and waters of the Pacific Northwest, this charming eatery offers over twenty-five scratch-made pastas alongside fresh salads and delectable desserts. Whether you're indulging in their signature cocktails or sharing a festive meal with loved ones, Pastini promises an experience filled with laughter and fine wine.
Our 2nd time eating at this restaurant and it was delicious. If you love great pasta dishes then you've found the right place. We had chicken Alfredo, spaghetti carbonara, and the spicy shrimp con gamberitti. Full of flavor💯 They had a nice $5 add on salad as well to any entrée. The cocktails were great! Our server was great! Definitely coming back!

I ordered the baked ziti, it has no sauce at all! It was very dry! I have posted a photo of what it looks like on their website then I posted a picture of what my order looked like. I don’t know why they skimp on the sauce that they put on pasta but it makes the meal much less palatable!

Pastini is in the Old Mill District right on the Dechuttes River. We stopped in for a late dinner. While waiting for a table I notices the Cocktail for a Cause sign on the hostess stand, I thought that was awesome. More places should do things like that. We were seated and our server Teah came over promptly and took our drink orders, and gave us some time to look at the menu. I ended up getting one of the Hot Honey Peach Margaritas and let me tell you, it was the best Margarita I have ever had. The flavors went so well together, such an amazing flavor profile. This drink 11/10. If your thinking about it - try it. It is not spicy for those worried about the hot Honey. We ordered the parmesan bread, the fried mozerella & a caprese salad to start. All were delicious. The parmesan bread is the perfect amount of soft and fluffy and crispy, I think it was made on some type of ciabatta roll. We also ordered the fried mozerella, which was similar to mozzarella sticks but more if a slice of mozzarella breaded and deep fried and served over mozzarella. And I am a huge fan of caprese salad so I ordered a small side. The caprese comes with both Roma and sundried tomatoes, absolute best sun dried tomatoes i have ever tasted. For our main course we had the spaghetti carbonara & the linguine pesto pollo. The Carbonaras flavor profile was amazing, the bacon was just the right flavor to tie it all together. The linguine was delicious, chicken cooked and seasoned to perfection. The whole dish came Toger nicely. We would definitely come back - as we had a rough time in choosing which entree to get!

Had a great dinner here with my wife, we both enjoyed our meals immensely. The butter tomato gravy on the 3 cheese ravioli was amazing, I had to order a 2nd set of garlic bread to mop up. She had the linguine shrimp scampi, with a fantastic strawberry balsamic soda that is not to be missed. Neither of us had any left overs, yet didn't feel over stuffed. Perfect portions! As far as the noise, there was a pre concert warming up and music playing and perfect.

Good food and great service. 20 minute wait to get a table on Friday night was quite reasonable. Busy, so was a bit loud.
Roger ( — Google review
The food here is just okay. My leek and mushroom pasta dish was good, but I also got butternut squash and bread pudding for dessert. The butternut squash comes bathing in an inch of oil that it was baked in… not sure why they wouldn’t drain the oil before presentation. The apple caramel bread pudding also was just not a good recipe. It was not warmed up (which they said was a mistake) and largely flavorless. The gelato on top was divine and if I were to go again I’d just order a scoop of the gelato for dessert.

I've know I said this before and I understand the concept of your menu style. But it makes it very confusing and overwhelming to try to order from especially if you've never been there before. This black bear diner was very middle of the road in terms of food quality, has the salmon and it was overcooked. Salad had some tomato’s on it that tasted like they were on the verge of being too ripe. Service was phenomenal though, my waiter was really nice and efficient. I think they just need a better cook in the kitchen and some better ingredients.

First of all, give Tiffani a raise asap. She provided the absolute best service I've had at a restaurant in a very long time. I think this BBD location was having staffing issues for the past year or so, as I made a few visits where there simply weren't enough people working to provide speedy or effective service. My visit today indicates that is no longer the case, as the restaurant was fully staffed and seemed to be humming along as you would expect. I like the food here. It's definitely above average in the realm of diner food, and it's always consistent. The downside is that it's more expensive than eating at your average diner. This place isn't that cheap - I think I paid $18 for a small chicken fried steak, two eggs, and hash browns.

I am new to Bend, someone suggested this place and we drove by 3 times and then we finally stopped. Menu is lite, burgers, salads and sandwiches. I ordered the bend burger and sweet potato tots, I was surprised at the portion size and the softness of the bun. I have had many burgers in many places across the country and this burger may be the best I have had. Simple clean (I don’t need 50 napkins) it was so good and held together very well. The tots were also very good. If you think about stopping and don’t, you will be missing a great meal!!

We knew this place would be good when we had to wait for a parking spot! That's usually a good sign. Only criticism is that our appetizer was served with our main course, so it was a lot of food dropped all at once and it was harder to enjoy the sample platter offerings with my fajitas already in front of me. However, having said that, the food was as expected. Tasty and excellent portion sizes. My wife is veggie and she appreciated properly cooked vegetables, still some crunch!

So much better than El Coporal. Here visiting from So. Tucson, home of authentic Hispanic cuisine. This establishment operating since 1999, has really good dishes to choose from. Didn’t try the Mole as I had it for the last 2 nights . Dam close to the quality of Tucson! The Rodeo Burro is extremely flavorful with picadillo and a side of spicy refried beans. The picadillo consists of shredded spicy sautéed beef similar to Birria. The rice has a warm moist flavor with real shredded Cheddar cheese on beans and the Burrito. We had Gordito as our server, very knowledgeable as he’s from Mexico City with a strong knowledge of Mexican cuisine. Very efficient and excellent waiter! The owner visits each table asking for your opinion and thanking you for your patronage. Quick attentive service with follow up communication. An unbelievable amount of free parking. Full service bar open for Happy Hours in a separate Lounge with dedicated entrance!

Parrilla Grill is a vibrant Mexican fusion eatery known for its inventive dishes like BLT burritos and chimichurri veggie tacos. This local favorite has been serving gratifying food for nearly 22 years, offering a flexible menu with options to have dishes made as wraps or bowls. The restaurant takes pride in sourcing produce and meat locally, as well as sustainable fishing practices.
Best salad & fish tacos in Bend! And reasonably priced! It’s a local classic don’t miss it!! Also the best side of beans & rice bowl for kiddos (or veggie types- get that protein you need!)
L R — Google review
I hate to make a bad review because Parilla has been one of our favorites for years and years. We got chicken nuggets which had pink in them, I took only one picture but opened up the others which had pink in them as well. The pineapple salsa - which I love seemed old and not fresh at all. And my fish tacos didn’t have cabbage - I can deal with that but the rest is super disappointing. I’m hoping my kids don’t get sick from the chicken because they had bites before I noticed. It seems like they have a whole new team that I have never seen and I understand it takes time to learn, but these things shouldn’t happen especially the undercooked chicken. On the upside the new crew seemed very nice and welcoming as always

We live down the street and it's definitely on our regular rotation. Most people love the fish tacos, but we usually go for the bowls or wraps. The Nashville, Wrap of Khan or Enter the Dragon, CBCB are all go-to's. I'd highly recommend if you're in the area and looking for something quick and delish.

I’ve been coming to Parrilla for years, today I decided to try something new. I pulled up the vegan menu and landed on the CBCB. About a quarter into the burrito I realized there was beef in it. As it turns out there is a CBCB on the regular menu. Not sure why the vegan items have the same name, I didn’t even think to specify vegan as it was on the vegan menu. Lesson learned.
Courtney H — Google review
Been going for years. Was a 5 star review. I dunno what to say. Always got the fish burrito with bamboo shoots and peanut sauce, very tasty. Prices have really gone up, dollar PBRs are gone, menu changed, culture seems off, but why? Glad to see the place cleaner though. Fish burrito tasted great still but no bamboo shoots available i guess. Looking around i didn't see any locals that I could tell just tourists. This is not in their control, im just saying the usual experience was off. But really to sum it up, tasty food, but for the price there are other local places worth exploring. To put it another way, I used to drive from Redmond for this but now I'm thinking twice...of other options.

Came in over the weekend, and the coffee was delicious! Cute atmosphere. Quick and friendly service. The croissant and breakfast sandwich were very good. Great selection of pastries. We came here on the recommendation of the local, and we see why! Thank you.

It was my first time visiting Bend. The area was beautiful and everyone was so friendly. The café seemed really popular because people kept coming in. I loved the local vibe. I had a chai latte and it was delicious. The pastry was great too. Next time I’m in town I definitely want to try their coffee.😋🥐☕️❤️

What a nice place to enjoy their coffee, one of the best I have tasted. Their croissants was tasty and was just baked perfectly. A little treat for us, if you are in Bend, this is a must stop and try joint.

We stopped by this coffee shop in Bend, OR and had a great experience. The baristas were really friendly, ( these girls were really skilled, and hardworking) The coffee was excellent,my wife loved it and the chocolate croissants were amazing. There are 2 hours of free parking nearby, which made things easy. Beyond the coffee, the hospitality from the people here in Bend really stood out.

Love this place! Coffee is excellent, pastries are divine, and the staff is welcoming. My husband and I had an oatmilk cappuccino and a cold brew and bought beans. Loved the beans so much we came back for more.
Natalia S — Google review
Thump is an exceptional coffee shop in terms of espresso execution as well as roasting quality—I tried the beans at home, and they were the best flavor I'd had in quite some time. It's comparable to Cat & Cloud in Santa Cruz or other world renowned shops. The employees at this location were extremely friendly and talented (espresso pulls) on Sept. 29, 2025, when we visited. Overall, I’d give this place a 98/100. Because I’m fairly particular when it comes to espresso, that score doesn’t come easily, yet Thump truly earned it!
Joe F — Google review
I mostly give 4 & 5 star reviews, but this place deserves the highest praise. Excellent coffee: perfect espresso, perfect drip, excellent steam and foam. Excellent Pastry & Snacks: I had their breakfast sandwich, multiple pastries, cookies, and muffins… I could not find a less than great thing. Excellent Staff & Vibes: their staff was super kind and helpful and easy going which created a great vibe for the place and space. This is peak coffee shop.

Sunriver Brewing Co. - Galveston Pub is a popular brewery located in Sunriver, offering award-winning beers like Fuzztail Hefeweizen and Cinder Beast Imperial Red. The pub has a cozy garage-like interior and a spacious patio for warm weather hangouts. Situated on Galveston Avenue, it's part of a row of three pubs, making it an ideal starting point for a craft beer tour in Bend.
Wagyu sliders were cooked perfectly (love the bacon jam) with a nice Caesar salad. Small but curated beer tap list. Beers were well balanced. Cans and bottles to go, I had no idea they had barreled aged beers. Friendly service. Plenty of seating indoors and out. Not very busy at lunch time. Great fast service. Overall a fun little brewery.
C Y — Google review
Our party of 6 had 4 orders of the wagyu beef sliders. Each order was so overcooked and dry. The sliders were hard. It was a big disappointment, considering it was wagyu beef. One of the persons to order the sliders mentioned how this was their favorite dish here, but never wanted to order it again.
Kassandra R — Google review
As a huge fan of Sunriver Brewing, both their beer and brand, it’s incredibly disappointing to have to leave this 1-star review. I’ve always loved their brews and was really looking forward to sharing the full experience with my family. Unfortunately, our visit was anything but enjoyable. Despite the restaurant not being particularly busy and appearing fully staffed, it took nearly 45 minutes just to get our drinks going, and almost two hours for our food to arrive. When it did, much of it was inedible. My daughter’s burger was completely charred and bone-dry, and the “wagyu” sliders we ordered to-go were also extremely overcooked. The Cajun tots were over-seasoned to the point that you couldn't eat them. For a $235 tab, we expected at least a basic level of care and quality, neither of which were present during our visit. It genuinely felt like there was no quality control of the kitchen or its staff. I hope this was an isolated incident, but in reading other recent reviews here on Google now, it appears we were not alone. This experience certainly didn’t reflect the high standard I’ve come to associate with Sunriver Brewing.
Luke R — Google review
Great people watching on Galveston from the open air seating indoors. My family loves to share their generous pretzel as a starter. I tried a summer special, the Asian chicken salad. The kale, broccoli stalks, Brussels sprouts and cabbage slaw was coated in spicy peanut nummy sauce. No guilt gf pub fare.
Rebecca B — Google review
I’m extremely disappointed with our recent visit to Sunriver Brewing’s Galveston location. After a fun day out, my family was looking forward to a great meal, but this experience fell far short. I ordered Wagyu sliders with sweet potato fries, but the fries were burnt to the point of being black and inedible (I wish I would’ve taken a picture for reference). When I informed our server, Mallory, she acknowledged the problem and offered to replace them. However, we were in a hurry with three young kids, so I requested a refund instead. To my surprise, they only removed $2 from our bill, which didn’t seem fair, given I received no side dish. To make matters worse, a 20% "large party" gratuity was added to our bill for our party of five (two adults, two children, and an infant). Mallory explained that the baby counted toward the gratuity, even though the menu clearly stated the policy applies to parties of six or more. She did adjust the bill after some discussion, but her demeanor was notably negative, and I overheard her complaining about the situation to another server. I wrote an email to the management team to express our concerns, but I received no response, which only added to our frustration. Despite the poor food quality and inattentive service, we still left a tip out of respect for the service industry. However, we left feeling unwelcome and hesitant to return. Families should feel valued and respected when dining out, and unfortunately, that was not the case here. I hope the management will take this feedback seriously, as it reflects poorly on the establishment as a whole.

Had a great experience; kitchen brought out a bacon treat for our dog :) for humans I recommend the Nashville chicken sandwich... Really good spice blend. Didn't have a wait time for outside! Cheers
Evan S — Google review
We had a large group! I say that because that seems to make a difference to the restaurant and service as an excuse for lack of performance! I have reviewed many restaurants and breweries but today was really bad! Apparently you cannot order your burger to taste! I ordered a bacon burger medium but their default is medium well so it came well done! I pointed out that this was not medium and the waiter immediately pointed out that that is their default and if I wanted to get another burger it would be 45 minutes because the kitchen was backed up? But there are empty tables! What kind of manager can’t manage a three quarters full restaurant? Beside my burger being cooked wrong so was my friends wife’s! But of course she wouldn’t say anything about it. Both burgers were warm to cold as well! They comped my burger, like that was supposed to make everything ok? Now I am livid and embarrassing my friends! But right is right! Then we ask to have the bill split and the waiter gets that all messed up and blames it on the computer? Once he gets that straightened out they factor in a tax(tip?)for service that was horrible! And yes it’s a tax when you can’t make the choice yourself! This was by far the worst experience in a brew pub! People make mistakes but when they don’t own them I am done!! Never again here or any of their other locations!

food was good, service was terrible. there was 5 of us and i don’t know if it was cause our waitress was having a bad day or she was mad there was that many people. we had to get her attention a few times to ask for simple things like water, and sauce. she seemed annoyed the whole time we were there, only nice at the end hoping for a good tip.

Thank you, Goodlife! We were in town visiting and stopped in for lunch. It was delicious! The grilled bacon and mac n cheese was unique and to die for. The spicy turkey sandwich and side salad were so fresh and tasty. The beer, of course, refreshing. Our waiter was amazing and talked us into the stout brownie dessert to share, which was sinfully delicious. A to go box was needed. We left very happy and will be back again.

Great “backyard” area with a playground for kids, turf, and a gas fire pit. The inside is a little smaller than others but not terrible. They had their own and a pizza food truck. We tried the pizza and it was good. Beer wasn’t bad at all.

Exceptional outdoor area for family and friends. Delicious drink options. Whether beer or spirits there's something for everyone. Plenty of non-alcoholic too. The pub is a bit small but the "pub" description dictates this. The food truck has good bites and of course the pub has a great menu too.

Great little brewery, with a nice variety of beers on tap. Friendly service, plenty of parking. Indoor and outdoor seating. Not a very lively atmosphere or crowded when I stopped by Saturday afternoon. Beers to go plus usual swag. Food looked good.

Terrific gin. This is a perfect location for me; great beer for husband and delicious gin distilled on site. You know it's good when I order a second. Great patio area, dog friendly and additional comfy seating to move around the tables. Very friendly service. Highly recommend and a definite addition to future visits to Bend.

Beer review only. They have food but I didn't try it. I just had their Sippy Cup, a hazy style pale ale. It is juicy and has an aftertaste of passion fruit. It's really yummy even after 3 beers. They gave me a try of what they are proud of, a pale ale that won medals, the sweet As. I don't even like pale ale but it's very hoppy and fragrant and it's very delicious. This pale ale would have turn me but their hazy pale ale is so delicious that I cannot resist. They definitely know how to do beer. Super friendly staff. Dog and kid friendly outside in the beer garden.

Food was great. I ordered the Massaman curry with beef. Flavors were delicious and serving size was adequate. Service was friendly and courteous but terribly slow, which is why I'm docking two stars. There was only one waitress for the entire restaurant. They need to hire more help.

very pleasant atmosphere with light music and air conditioned rooms with good dine in space and ambiance with paintaing and art pieces and trees over the place. We ordered (spice 5⭐) Thai Satay prig prow ( served with rice) Drunken noodles There was no parking available with the busy downtown roads.. we reached there at 8:40 . Though the restaurant closes at 9pm, they served us good. There's only 1 person who takes care of reception/serving.

We really enjoyed our food here! We started with the salad rolls served with peanut and sweet chili sauce for dipping. They were excellent! I loved the fresh bit of mint in them. I ordered the Tom Kha Gai soup and the coconut and lemongrass was in perfect portion. The soup had plenty of chicken and mushrooms as well. We also ordered the Pad Thai. You can order in terms of spicy from 1-5. We ordered 1 and it was perfect for us. Amazing flavor!!

Loved the Thai food here, we were craving for tom yum soup and we got it here.... we ordered 2 tom yum soup, one vegetable pinapple rice with tofu and 2 curries, red and green one... they understang vegan here so we they did not put any meat or fish sauce but pls remind them again not to put any fish sauce. Overall loved the ambience, service was slow and it took some time for the food to come as well. Can't complain for Thai food with vegan in bend here. Loved the food, could have been more sweet

Our large group of 10 last night had such a wonderful time here. We were celebrating the birthday of a friend that had passed, and the entire staff was so accommodating to us. We are so grateful for their patience and flexibility, I know it was a lot. I wish I had caught our server's name (she's from Missouri!), she was outstanding! As for the food, absolutely incredible. There is a large vegetarian and vegan menu which accommodated many of our dietary restrictions. I didn't look at what meat options there were but the meat eaters in our party seemed pleased. 10/10 will be back.

Popped in after a long hike for a delicious cold Athletic Golden Ale and a veggie burger. The burger was scrumptious! I appreciate the several N/A options they had available. Everything tasted fresh. I wanted to ask for a jar of their homemade pickles. Yum! I'd go back for more!

There are too many options in Bend for this place to get away with two-star status. I’m aware of the struggle to find good help, and it appeared that there was only one server working the entire floor. She was friendly enough and because of that I will give her three stars. The only music I could hear was coming from the kitchen. The food was “meh” at best. Dining room/bar area was a bit too bright. Had a “Cheers” feel. Not real intimate or anything. Not sure I would return.

With a FB group of 30 ladies, we received good service, food, and a great time at happy hour. A couple orders weren't right, but they promptly replaced them with better dish. I had the huge plate size pretzel with mustard and cheese pesto that was perfect. Salads are huge and delish.

El Caporal Family Mexican Restaurant, situated in the Village at Sunriver, offers a diverse range of Mexican dishes, from simple to elaborate. The restaurant is known for its vibrant and family-friendly setting where guests can enjoy a selection of beer, wine, margaritas, and other mixed drinks.
We go often. The servers are fantastic and the service is great. Drinks and food are always good and they have a VAST menu. Love that there is a bar area that is kid free. I just wish there were a few more things a la cart because for us, the rice beans and tortillas are overkill.

Tasty food. They make Guacamole 🥑 freshly in front of you. They bring all the ingredients and mortar & pestle, and make the guacamole. Also they make cute patterns on the plate serving Flan. The servers are very friendly and go above & beyond to help the customers. Would surely recommend if you are craving for good mexican food.

Updated review since owner accused me of lying about bland food and terrible service and accused me of never having come to the restaurant. Couldn’t get servers attention and overpriced food was sour and cooked wrong and bland. OG review- Took over an hour to get in and out with slow service. No wait. 20 dollars for bland tomato sauce enchiladas? Are you kidding? There’s no spices or seasoning on any foods or salsa. The prices are outrageous (15 dollar tacos with no rice or beans? Wild! 16 dollar non organic guacamole? That’s half a tank of gas!) the server never brought a single refill for our drinks. No chip refills. Was thirsty the whole meal. Order was messed up first time and had to sent back. Mexican Girlfriend got a burrito and said it was sour and could barely finish it, so we opened it up and I’m pretty sure they were using friskier cat food! I hope we don’t get sick! No idea why people keep coming here to eat with the bad service, crazy prices, and bland food. I think I was the only non blonde person here? Customers even seemed a bit sheltered who have never eaten at a Mexican restaurant besides Taco Bell before. The cat food photo is a comparison to the texture and taste of the beef they used. Even menu said beef chunks but burrito has sour shreds for some reason. Rice was actually very good surprisingly but that’s it. I guess most of Bend just isn’t good for authentic Mexican food. Prices are just wild though. They even have a 28-30 dollar burrito. That’s filet mignon prices are actual steakhouses. Never had a restaurant reply and attack versus apologizing.
Taylor C — Google review
The atmosphere is nice and decent. There are no seafood dishes on the menu except shrimp. We ordered the lunch menu. There's a significant( negative) difference between the meal and what was described in the menu. The chicken portion was very small, and the chicken breast was extremely tough. See picture. $17 is outrageous. I won't come again. The tortillas were just average.
Rasim O — Google review
Super fast and friendly. Drinks are delicious. Mole is the best I’ve ever had. And their steak fajitas are tender—grilled to perfection. My son said “I give this dinner a 10 out of 10. I’m in heaven right now.” High praise from a kid who has no filter. As a parent, I’m in love with the fact that the cook can get my kid to 1. Eat the diner served without hesitation, and 2. That my kid called the dinner heavenly. Hands down our best dining experience on this family vacation. Edit- May 2025 (Memorial Day weekend): This restaurant is amazing! We come every year and 2-3 times if we can. We live nearly 4 hours away, but play lots of sports tournaments in Bend. Today, we asked to see Ben. He was our first server years ago. He was busy in the bar, but not too busy to say hello and to tell my son that he remembers him and our family. For a minute, I felt like family. That is how warmly they treat everyone here. Same lightening fast service too. We sat down to immediate chips and salsa, 5 min to get a drink from bar, 10 min for our food, and everything was perfection as always— especially the fresh margaritas. 10/10.
Hiyori L — Google review
When I first stepped inside, I was pleasantly surprised that they had the decor matching the cuisine. They had plenty of tables and chairs throughout the restaurant so they had a lot of room. With a good mix of bench seating, booths, and tables. The menu seem to have plenty to choose from, however, when I was looking at the tostadas, one of the options seemed more like a taco salad than it was a tostada, so I was a little confused, but I thought I would try it. Sure enough, the salad was in a bowl not a flat tortilla shell. So that would make it a taco salad. The choices of meat were varied, however, the ground beef that I had was soaking in oil, and the lettuce appeared to be very wet, which means that the bottom of my taco salad was a lake of oil water mix I will say that the food was served fairly quick, however, that tells me that all of the food is premade and sitting in the back ready to be put together. After eating about a quarter of my taco salad, I tipped my plate and saw about what seemed to be a quarter inch of oil/water. I told the waitress and she promptly asked if I would like to get something else. They quickly took care of me so I give them credit for making the situation right. The next go around I decided to go with enchiladas instead, and I had chicken instead of the beef. The food was OK, however, I think that it could use a little bit more seasoning. There was no heat there was very little cumin, and I think they could just spice it up some more. The prices are on par with pretty much everybody else in the area, however, given the quality of food, I think it would’ve been nicer if they were a little less expensive.

Update 3/2025. Still a nice place to get food with fast friendly service. They've held up very well to COVID. This is a good place for authentic Mexican food and drinks. They have an inviting rustic atmosphere that replicates a desert pueblo scene. Service is always friendly and fast. Food is above average and freshly prepared. Drinks are good with a full bar. Prices are as expected. I go here occasionally for Mexican if I'm in the mood.

Great spot for breakfast burritos and iced coffee. They roast their beans in house. The burrito is STUFFED. You will walk away feeling full and happy. Wonderful people working here too. The outdoor seating area is so peaceful. Shaded and plenty of tables. Giving 4 stars as I asked for avocado to be added to my burrito and I found just 1 single slice of avocado. Not generous with the avo, but everything else was great! :)

My friend recommended this place because of the potstickers. So I ordered through DoorDash, and I have to say, I agree that the potstickers were the best that I’ve ever had. However, the noodles and the chicken were horrible. The noodles had absolutely no flavor at all and the chicken was hard as a rock on the ends and middle.I couldn’t even eat it. I don’t know if maybe my friend ate and there was a different cook at the time but, I spent over $50 just because their delivery charge and their handling and tax was absolutely ridiculous. There’s not one place on DoorDash that chart is what they charge but I figured II spent over $50 just because their delivery charge, handling fee and tax was absolutely ridiculous. There’s not one place on DoorDash that charges what they charge but I figured I had a bad day, so I’m going to just try it and splurge so I could have it a few times. I literally threw the noodles away and chicken away, and I can understand sometimes things may be not to my liking, however the idea of throwing away 2 out of 3 dishes is pretty bad. I hope your experience is 100 times better than mine

I ordered online: kung pao veg & tofu and paid $2 extra for "fried rice" and requested no egg in it. Obviously this means I want NO MEAT, right?? They gave me pork fried rice. Nothing on the online menu indicated that pork fried rice is their default fried rice... why would you offer that as an add on for a vegetarian dish and only list it as "fried rice"??!! Only giving 2 stars because the veg & tofu was quite good; too bad I had no rice to go with it. It was packaged poorly and the photos show how I received it from the delivery guy.
Crystal J — Google review
Shrimp and sweet and sour chicken were so overcooked, it could not be eaten. I’m not a picky eater or anything. Will not order from here again.
Sharpay R — Google review
Shrimp chow mein was delicious! Large portions. Friendly service and quiet peaceful dinning.
Maria A — Google review
Delicious food! We got delivery and it came so hot it still hurt to touch the containers, it can be an expensive meal because they serve family sized portions only. Plain fried rice is pork and plain noodles have no vegetables or meat with them. It is absolutely worth the cost for some delicious food from a local business! Any protein can be used for any sauce and the vegetable fried rice and low mein are very flavourful! Great for large parties and sharing with family members, or keeping for yourself and having multiple meals!

Excellent lunch here today. So nice to find such a hearty meal that is so affordable. The delicious, high-quality array of vegetables was absolutely lovely in both the Beef with Vegetables and Chicken with Vegetables dishes we enjoyed.
Dina M — Google review
I honestly read the reviews but I thought that I would try it anyway. My honest take away is it tasted like the food and been warmed up from yesterday or the day before. From the rice to the sweet and sour chicken and the shrimp like everyone else says was hard because it had been overcooked for who knows how many days. My biggest concern is with all of the people that are writing these reviews that are unfavorable why aren't the owners or management doing something to make things better. Or at least respond to the reviews.

Mio Sushi is a regional Japanese chain located in the heart of the Old Mill District, offering a wide variety of creative sushi and hot dishes. The restaurant has an unassuming space and is a great stop for those exploring the area. It has a large menu with generous servings, making it suitable for smaller groups to make reservations or walk-ins throughout the day. Their offerings include appetizers, salads, seaweed salad, and miso soup.
I love this place! It is one of my must stop to visit places in Bend. Food was perfect and the prices were not bad, or pricy. The staff was pretty fast and the chefs did an amazing job. Most of their stuff is gluten free and they use gluten free soy sauces in their house sauces! That is one of the reasons why i chose them and I was so happy that i could get Chicken Teriyaki and not worry about gluten!

Love this place, we go often it has become a family night staple, love the gal who seats and helps in the kitchen has darker hair we just adore her shes in her 60s and looks/works likes shes in her early 30s fun and bubbly, there is an older gentleman that works there as well always wears a hat brings our kids suckers everytime we go very friendly family atmosphere and great food. We will continue to support this restaurant. 🍱🙌

The food was overpriced, and the customer service left a lot to be desired. Our server pressured us to order more than we wanted, which made the experience uncomfortable. Two people in our group didn’t want to eat and decided to leave, and instead of being understanding, the staff got upset, moved our table, and automatically added an 18% gratuity for five people. They even mentioned that if we had six, it would have been 22%. Overall, it felt like they cared more about squeezing money out of us than providing good service.
Timothy C — Google review
Our server was friendly & cheerful. Food was good, portion in smaller side. Bit strange that the Asian female mgr/staff gave us the bill b4 we finished, we paid & tipped well, she didn't say thx & didn't even notify our server we paid, so server asked us to pay when we were leaving. Bit awkward.
L K — Google review
Not NEARLY as good as it was 10+ years ago. Decided to give this place another try after coming here a year ago & being disappointed. I had to take away another star, unfortunately. Back when we lived in Bend 10+ years ago, it was the BEST sushi place in Bend. Since then, they've quit making all their in-house sauces gluten free for the sushi rolls. I used to be able to get pretty much ANY roll Gluten Free, now my options are sorely limited & I can't have Any sauces on my rolls. It's highly disappointing. The food does not reflect their prices either, you're charging 3-4 star prices & serving up 2 star quality food. Your sushi rolls fall apart instead of holding together like they should. They don't taste as fresh anymore & some of them taste like absolute TRASH. You could probably fix that by bringing back your old way of making the sauces Fresh & gluten free & use fresher fish. Also, at the end we got told that we HAD to tip at least 10%. My husband said, "Technically we don't have to tip Anything, but we tipped what we thought the food was worth and that's not much." We won't be back. We'll find another place. I don't know who is managing this place now, but you're doing it all wrong. The waitresses were Super friendly, so you get 1 star.
Niki S — Google review
Worst dining experience I’ve had. There were 3-4 other tables while I was there. Waitress was rushing, very inattentive, had to get my own straw, when I asked for a side of spicy mayo the one time she came over she shooed her hand, sighed and said “you’ll have to wait”. After patiently waiting over 20 minutes I went up to the sushi bar and got it myself. I didn’t think to check the reviews because I had a great experience at a different location and I regret it. The food was not very fresh and really upset my stomach after eating as well. I will never return…
Jas K — Google review
We sat down, having never been here before and it felt like we were almost immediately off to a less than great start. For context, we're one of those families that figures out food first and rarely have our phones out. We knew what we wanted to eat right away but didn't understand that you're supposed to use an expo pen (on the menu) to order. That was new to us. So once the waitress came over and we didn't have it written down, the woman set the menu on the table and walked away. It took her roughly 10 minutes to come back to us at all. She helped a few other tables but seemed genuinely annoyed with us. In fact a different woman took our order and later on, the older Asian waitress brought us our food. I still tipped the restaurant but it was bland service and on the high end for cost. The food wasn't terrible but nothing to write home about. The bathroom needed a deep clean for sure (dirt all over the door from people putting their hands on it).

Washington Dining & Cocktails offers a modern bar with Liquid Therapy served at happy hour prices every day from 3 to 5 PM. The rustic patio, featuring a long fire pit, is perfect for enjoying discounted drinks and snacks. The menu includes cheap beer, wine, house and specialty cocktails, shared plates, and an $8 burger. The bar's signature Duck Fat Sazerac is a must-try.
I popped in from out of town for a quick late night bite on the advice of a local, and was not disappointed! Located in a very nice part of town, this place has a casual charm and an atmosphere that’s warm and inviting. I chose the Perennial Press lavender vodka craft cocktail paired with a light and tasty Washington power salad with goat cheese, radishes, and a side of avocado. I liked that all the ingredients were finely chopped and easy to eat. The bar maid was very friendly and the food came quickly. I highly recommend this restaurant in Bend and can’t wait to come back!

Loves it here. Natasha was a delight. She really made my husband and I's night special. The food was amazing. Pretty decently priced for this side of town. Loved getting a special surprise drink at the end. 10/10 would recommend.

Washington dining & cocktails is a true gem. We have been coming here for over five years now, and they’ve never once disappointed. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between relaxed and refined—ideal for a casual drink or a special night out. The menu is always fresh and flavorful, and the cocktails never disappoint. What truly sets this place apart is the exceptional service. Our regular server Ariana goes above and beyond every time we visit. Attentive, and warm —it's the kind of genuine hospitality that keeps us coming back. It’s rare to find a place that feels both elevated and familiar—but after all these years, Washington still gets it exactly right.

This is a great place to dine and have cocktails. The Halibut cheek special was very good. I would have liked my couscous not be more hot versus luke warm. The service, however, was impeccable and we did not wait on the food despite it being really busy.

Stopped by at 3:15 on a Friday evening for a cocktail and snacks. Service was snappy and friendly, the rye cocktail was superb (and deadly, definitely NOT watered down), the wedge salad very hearty, and the cheeseburger sliders excellent.

Amazing. The food was incredible the pasta was better than what I had in Italy. My husband and I just loved it. The cocktails were incredible the sweet side so next time I would ask for less SS

Okay food with a high price tag. We ordered a $22 burger which was tiny and just okay. We paid almost $90 for a beer, a glass of wine, a burger, and an order of meatloaf. There are much better places to go in Bend that have better food and drinks at better prices. The atmosphere was good, but not great.

D & D Bar & Grill, affectionately known as "The D," is a beloved dive bar in downtown Bend. It's the oldest bar in town and has been a favorite hangout for locals of all ages, particularly those from the 1980s era Bend High School. The bar is renowned for its boozy cocktails and hearty comfort food, perfect for soaking up any excess alcohol or curing a hangover. Visitors can enjoy breakfast served all day at this no-frills establishment.
D&D has a good breakfast. Food is consistently tasty and service is always appropriate. As in, we see the server a reasonable number of times and they're good about keeping up on coffee. Biscuit was very nice, gravy was perfectly acceptable. Right amount of pepper and solid texture, I'm always in favor of more sausage 😅 Bacon cooked right, just on the edge of crisp - doesn't flop, doesn't shatter.

Best steak and eggs in central Oregon. Amazing, house made, biscuits and gravy. Genuine and real local dive with excellent service and attention.

Old school dive bar right in the middle of downtown. Nothing fancy, just what ya need: cheap drinks, pub food, good service and dim lighting with friendly vibes. Thumbs up in my book. Sketchy bathrooms though that’s to be expected.
Andrew C — Google review
Typical American bar/diner that offers great food. You can’t really see what’s happening from the outside, as the windows were blinded, so open the door and have a look. Good steak and nice burgers. Different draught beers available. Kids are allowed in and treated really well. Service was friendly.

Update 8/2025. Still awesome. Go here. A bend staple. Blue collar with darkened windows make it feel early evening anytime of day. Poker machines and some pinball to pass the time. Cold beer and firm cocktails to quell any thirst. Service is average to good. Prices fair. Food is good with weekly specials and portions for any appetite. Full breakfast, lunch, and dinner menu. I enjoy my time here while waiting in line for the barber on the next block.

Aloha Cafe is a top-rated hawaiian restaurant in Bend that offers delicious food and fast, friendly service. The Kahlua pork with cabbage is a must-try, but all the other entrees are also highly rated. Aloha Cafe is always fresh and fast, making it an ideal choice for any occasion.
I was craving Hawaiian food for such a long time, then found this spot. The rice is perfectly cooked, as well as the chicken teriyaki, which is my favorite. One thing I miss is the noodles they used to include, but the food is still amazing and affordable. The service is phenomenal. I always feel so welcomed every time I pick up food here.

Located across the street from my hotel so I walked over to check it out. Typical Hawaiian food which I love so I got the two meat plate with sides. The lava and teriyaki chicken were very good as was the Hawaiian mac salad. There was no indoor seating which was odd so take out it was.

I stoped here because it was close and convenient. Was hungry and didn’t expect what I was getting. Wow. The food here is unbelievable. So perfect in every way. I couldn’t stop thinking about it so I ended up going back two days later and again, it was even better than my first visit. Great quality and wonderful flavors. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to a meal or ten here.

Too much pineapple in the slaw but still good. I got the big plate that comes with all the meats and they were all good, especially the rib. Dudes behind the counter were super chill and informative about the area. The atmosphere wasn't very inviting with nowhere to sit. Its ok if it's take out only, but disabled folks, and elderly folks need to sit while they wait for their food.

Aloha Cafe catered a Celebration of Life for us. They were so accommodating and easy to work with. The food and service was above and beyond expected. Despite a rain storm and everyone crammed under the service tent in his way, Lee set up quickly without a complaint . Food was perfect for the event. My only suggestion is he needs a sign with Aloha Cafe on it to leave at venue. Everyone wanted to know where got the great food !! MAHALO

I have to say they are consistent with their delicious food. We had the lunch today and hadn’t been for some time. Still delicious and very good affordable. The Hideaway Bend is a popular sports bar that serves craft beer and upscale pub eats in a comfortable setting with many flat-screen TVs. The bar gets busy quickly, so it's best to get there early for popular games.
The bloody Mary was good but I feel average and the toppings came separate but I was warned of that. The margarita was average also. The inside of place was super loud but given march madness that's a given. The lotto machines were offline so I didn't get to try my luck ! The outside patio was cozy and inviting, they have water dishes for your pets and a nice electric fire pit.

Holy cow… Don’t ever eat here!!! I ordered a small Caesar salad ($12) and the dressing I’m sure was rancid. We just left and my stomach is churning after about 5 bites. My son ordered a small pepperoni pizza ($22!), I mean who can mess that up? They can. The crust was still wet/soggy in the middle. The cheese and sauce had zero flavor. He had to salt it just to get through one piece. He ordered a Dr Pepper ($5!!!) that was flat with zero carbonation. We asked to switch it out with a Coke (it came back flat as well) and our server was visibly irritated. I’ve never had a server be so rude!! His name is John and he is pictured below with the wet pizza. I’ve never written a negative review on a restaurant before, and if I could, I’d give them a NEGATIVE 5. I paid for food and a drink that we couldn’t even eat. My son took the pizza to go and threw it in the trash on the backside of the restaurant. He was going to try and give it to a homeless person, but we were worried about someone getting sick from it.
Heather S — Google review
A great sports viewing bar! Besides the usual bar and table areas, they have rows of leather couches on one side with multiple TVs on the wall. The food was good, but the "small pizza" was big enough for 2 or 3 people. The John Wayne burger had big onion rings on it. Service was attentive and customers were welcoming.

Emily, thank you for the best customer service we’ve received at a restaurant in a long time! You’re a rock star and legit, this place is lucky to have you. The pizza was SO good, over an hour later, my Honey (who’s from New York), won’t shut up about how good it was- and I agree! Can’t believe it’s taken us this long to try it, and it’s more than worth the drive from Sisters. Great atmosphere, great food, great service, legit the best drinks in Bend (great selection and crafting of cocktails) - GREAT experience! Thank you for providing what we’ve been craving for so long, we’re already looking forward to next time!
M K — Google review
Pizza was good, drinks were great, service was great too! ...but, had a food quality issue, truly inedible meat product in sandwich. Chef came out and blamed prep cook? Surprisingly, they didn't take it off the bill. The establishment should NEVER charge for an obvious/agreed food quality issues with a meal...

The Hideaway Sports Bar in Bend, Oregon, is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, the lively atmosphere and friendly staff made me feel right at home. The menu boasts a fantastic selection of delicious pub food, and the pizza is among the best in town…the “Chuck Norris” is my favorite! Village Baker is a beloved bakery with two locations in Central Oregon, offering a delectable selection of rustic, Old World breads and unique loaves like walnut and raisin or Bavarian-style black butte porter. The cozy atmosphere and mouthwatering food keep visitors coming back for more, with praise for the freshness and quality of their sandwiches, pastries, and artisanal bread.
We just visited the Village Baker in Bend today for lunch. What amazing sandwiches!! The sandwiches were fresh, delicious, healthy and well put together. The service was great. The employees were friendly and even cut up our two different sandwiches into halves for us to share. We purchased two loaves of bread to take home and we ate some as soon we returned back to Idaho. I can already tell the bread won't last long. The Village Baker is a must stop when you're in Bend.

Great little bakery! We were lucky to have an AirBnB in the neighborhood behind here, and walked over for coffee in the morning. The coffee was delicious, the service was warm and friendly, and the pastries were DELICIOUS!! Flaky, and buttery and scrumptious! My kids loved the chocolate chunk cookies (that were as big as their faces!), the chocolate eddy, and my husband and I loved the raspberry cream cheese danish! So tasty!! We didn’t get a chance to try them, but the locals said the sandwiches are really good too. Highly recommend this bakery!

We tried this bakery while passing through Bend on a road trip. The pastries were pretty solid but nothing outstanding. The sandwiches were just okay, and somewhat disappointing. The bread wasn't remarkable either. Honestly surprised this place is so highly rated, maybe we ordered the wrong things. Unlikely to return.

Yogurt tastes great but being treated like a criminal for asking for sample cups will lead me to taking my children elsewhere. The clerk would only give an adult two sample cups with 8 flavors available and refused cups to my children until I demanded. She kept talking about the cost of sampling, but after $33+ for 4 servings, I'd think a few samples are baked into the cost. For a business that regularly changes up flavors, they have to come up with a better policy that encourages curiosity and joy rather than admonishing and shame.

I love the frozen yogurt here. They have variety of flavors to sample which is fantastic! We went on a Monday, the line was long and slowly moved. It would be great if the checkout process could be a little faster as our yogurt was already melting by the time we paid. Hopefully the next time will be better!

Great little frozen yogurt shop that you fill your own cup and then weigh it. Got the blackberry and original flavors with waffle cone crumbles added. Both flavors were great, but the blackberry was really outstanding and stood out.

The Good- Most flavors are quite good, and the pricing seems fine to me. About $7 for a loaded cup of too much of whatever you want. The Bad- Not enough toppings! The Tip- You must create two separate areas in your bowlcup. One for your entree (in my case, chocolate and vanilla with sprinkles, and one for desert (in my case bubble gum, Nerds and gummy frog 🐸). See photo for guidance and note the frog's tongue.

Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Bend, Boneyard Pub is a no-frills brewpub that has made quite a name for itself since its inception in 2010. Originally brewing in an auto body shop with makeshift equipment, it has blossomed into a thriving establishment producing over 15,000 barrels of craft beer annually. With more than twenty taps featuring their signature brews, patrons can enjoy refreshing pints on the inviting outdoor patio.
The Boneyard Pub — Evel Knievel Would’ve Eaten Here, Then Jumped a Flaming Bus Full of Regret. This place doesn’t serve food and drink—it launches it at you, full throttle, like Evel Knievel flying a Harley through a wall of dynamite and neon beer signs. Walk in and the first thing you see—inside the damn bar—are vintage motorcycles, gleaming like relics from another, louder religion. Machines that have lived. Leaked oil. Carried lunatics across state lines with nothing but bad intentions and the smell of gasoline. Then come the chicken nachos, piled high like some edible stunt ramp—melty, massive, obscene in every beautiful way. It’s not dinner. It’s a challenge. A culinary high-wire act with no safety net, just molten cheese, smoked chicken, and your own crumbling sense of restraint. If you finish it solo, they should let you sign a helmet. At the helm of this madness is Parker, the bartender, the operator, the enabler of your better instincts. Smooth as a snake oil salesman and twice as useful, Parker doesn’t just pour drinks—he sets the mood. He handed me a Crooked Pilsner so crisp it felt like a reset button for the nervous system. And before I could beg for another, he offered the sacred path: the growler to go. Cold. Full. Glorious. That Crooked Pilsner growler left the building with me like a sidekick in a low-budget road movie, sweating in the passenger seat while I replayed every bad decision that led me to such fortune. This is not a bar. It’s a launch pad. Five stars. Wear a helmet. Bring cash. Tip Parker like he just patched your wounds. And never—ever—underestimate the power of a full growler and a bar with motorcycles inside.

Boneyard RPM is my go-to beer. It’s what’s in the fridge and it’s what I order on tap if available. I moved to Oregon 4 years ago and was thrilled to find this beer. I finally made the trip to Bend specifically to check out Boneyard. My first stop was the brew location on a Wednesday. Tara was very helpful and had a lot of information. I was not able to have a look inside because she was the only one there. I then walked to the Pub. There is a small bar with liquor on one end, it’s dark and cozy and was filled with locals (per the bartender). I sat at the big bar and ordered an IPA flight and a grilled cheese as there are NO vegetarian mains or sandwiches available. The bartender was perhaps having an off day, service was good but she did not seem happy to be there or care that I was there. The vibe was unremarkable. The beer was delicious. I had allotted myself $100 for swag and yet only bought a sticker as the hoodies were made of a cheap poly blend that I knew I’d never wear. Bend is a cool town and I’ll be back. But I don’t need to hit Boneyard again. Deschutes has a very cool tour.

Their outside patio area is one of the best in town. Clean and lots of seating. If youre not a drinker, a burger and a house made rootbeer will keep you happy for sure. Great stop to meetup with a friend for a quick bite and a drink. Dog friendly patio gets bonus points.

Absolutely love this place! Best pretzels & beer cheese ever! Excellent customer service, cool little place with an awesome ambience! Highly recommend! You won’t be sorry you went! A MUST! I would call this a perfect little “hidden treasure” in Bend, Oregon!

We visited Boneyard on a Monday evening. It was almost empty! (hence 3 stars for atmosphere). The food was very good. My wife had the strawberry fields salad, and I went for the 'Royale with Cheese', i.e. the burger. Thanks to the chef in indulging my request for crispy fries, and for delivering a medium-rare burger. Yum! The beer was awesome, as you would expect. That's why we went there, after all. Finally, we stayed overnight at the Riverhouse Lodge. It's within ~15-20 minutes walking distance from Boneyard.

Pork Belly Poutine would make a Canadian very sad. Dry as a sage brush prairie fries, gravy was minimal at best & whereas the cheese curds & pork belly?! You have to order by QR code which is fine, but folks were just unapproachable past the nice girl that brought our food out. Oh btw driest burger one could bite into…so let people order by preference. Earth rattling ideas I guess but will not eat here again.

VERY cool place to go! Food and beer were great! I had the Royale with cheese and my son had crispy pork tacos. Well worth the prices. Atmosphere was definitely unique. Old school garage meets pub / brewery vibe! Just my style! NOT for everyone though. If you don't like hot rods or motorcycles this probably isn't your type of place. If I lived in Bend, this would be my go to place.
James G — Google review
Update 7/2024. Still awesome and still boneyard. Beer excellent. Service good. Food good. Must stop if you're visiting Bend. It's Boneyard, so you know the beer is going to be fabulous. They have some new techniques like opening a tab then being able to visit separate areas or order from your table via a website onto your tab. It's a little confusing at first but very cool once you get the hang of it. No table service so there is always a line at the bar, and perhaps a few kinks to still work out. Open atmosphere that is also family friendly. Excellent patio area. Food was above average pub food and the menu had a little flare with unique items. Parking is tough and available off-site for overflow. Service was friendly and fast. Prices are as expected. Somehow all these things are what you expect from Boneyard, new and just a little different. It's clear they have brought their unique business style to the new pub. This is not just another Bend brewery, it's Boneyard.

Nestled in the vibrant Brooks Street Alley, Beach Hut Deli is a delightful deli-style sandwich haven that perfectly captures the essence of coastal living. With its relaxed beach-themed atmosphere, this eatery offers an array of unique sandwich combinations that are sure to tantalize your taste buds. One standout option is the California sandwich, generously layered with cheese, avocado, peppers, spinach, onions, and tomatoes—ideal for those craving a fresh and hearty bite.
Sean absolutely dominates this place. It's incredible to feel like family when you arrive and are greeted with such warmth. I've had lots of different sandwiches and they are all melt in your mouth. I regularly order beach hut for catering our company lunch team meetings and it's always so much food and such good quality. You will not be disappointed.

My daughter bought me my first Beach Hut Deli sandwich while I was helping her open her new store in Bend called Staghorn Mercantile at 916 Wall Street. We put in a few 12 hour days and the sandwiches we got there were very satisfying and well worth the money. My wife and I have eaten there twice while visiting Bend. I got the Philly Steak and my wife got the Hot Pastrami. The Philly Steak was a massive sandwich, so big in fact, you need to eat this with a knife and fork. I enjoyed this more than some steak dinners I've eaten. So friends, if you want a sandwich with satisfying flavor and nice portions visit Beach Hut Deli you'll walk away happy! To the manager: I hope you guys get some Red XL tee shirts in when I visit the next time I wanted one so bad.

Beach Hut Deli delivers on every level! The sandwiches are absolutely top-tier— packed with flavor, fresh ingredients, and made just right. You can tell they take pride in what they serve, and it shows in every bite. The staff is phenomenal— friendly, attentive, and welcoming from the moment you walk in. Sean’s energy and enthusiasm really stand out- you can feel his passion for the place, and it creates such a positive vibe throughout the whole experience. And as a bonus? Major points for having the NFL Sunday Ticket and proudly hosting the Bend Browns Backers! It’s the perfect spot to catch every game, enjoy great food and drinks, and be part of a fun, football-loving crowd. Highly recommend!

This place has some absolutely delicious food. The sandwich I ordered was generously STUFFED with toppings. It was satisfying beyond measure. Add to that a nice selection of taps for drinks, a killer patio for the nice days, and a staff that is passionate about giving a positive experience...you have the perfect recipe for a great time. Highly recommended

My favorite spot to go when I’m downtown, especially after floating the river. Amazing sandwiches and salads. It’s a local staple with a great vibe too.

I didn't take a great picture, well it looks great but nothing to show just how big this actually is. One portion is the size of my hand. Ok, on to my quick review of it. XL Sunrise sandwich from the beach hut deli. $22.50 for this bad boy. I could barely eat half of this sandwich and I am stuffed. This is one of my fav sandwich places to go to and it's located in Bend. They are always busy so make sure you have time to wait or order ahead. I've gotten a sandwich from this place every time we have come here. Find yourself in Bend and love deli sub style sandwiches? Make sure you check this place out.

Sweetheart Donuts of Bend, LLC is a must-visit donut shop in Bend. The customer service is exceptional and the donuts are above average, making it worth multiple visits. It outshines other donut shops in the area. They offer a variety of delicious flavors including gluten-free options and cater for events with beautiful and tasty assortments.
Stopped to try Bends Sweethearts Donuts! Literally in the shape of a heart is the custard filled and the. The seasonal Carmel Apple! Both donuts were great! Cute and quiet little donut shop that gave me a smile! Stopped in to try Bends infamous Sweetheart Donuts! Today I ordered: Chocolate Bavarian Custard Filled Heart for $3.12 I was excited to see that the donut is actually in the shape of a heart! The downfall was that this was not a fresh donut, Meaning that it was not soft it was tough to bite into like it was a day or so old. I was also no impressed that the bavarian cream was only in the upper side pockets of the hearts. I was expecting it to be jam packed full bavarian cream. My suggestion would be to add more into the center of the heart going in from the point to fill it or even where the heart crease. Due to the ration bing off I didn't eat most of the donut. Seasonal Carmel Apple Filled $2.86 The same thing with this donut it was not a fresh donut. It was a tough to bite into as well. I will say though that it had an amazing taste to it which offset the toughness of the fought. Experience within the establishment: I was expecting hot fresh donuts as I was there right at opening yet none of the donuts where warm. There was not the sweet aroma that you would smell when walking into a donut shop after they just made donuts. The person behind the counter was stocking setting up the shop when I walked in. Overall the experience was great the donuts are lacking as they are not fresh. This is a cute little shop!

Awesome donuts! I love donuts and always try to visit donut shops where ever I visit and I can honestly say this was an above average donut shop. The customer service was superb, the donuts we're more than good, and I visited the shop the convective days in a row because it was so good. I've been to several other donut shops in Bend and they can't compete with sweetheart donuts. If in Bend and looking for donuts, don't go anywhere else, hit up Sweetheart Donuts. You will not be disappointed.

Tried to get some doughnuts this morning. Place looked sus from the beginning. Sign all rickety and misspelled and then the owner came to the door. He looked afraid to shower and dirty. The place was closed on a day they claim to be open Don't waste your time You can get overpriced doughnuts elsewhere and not have to wonder if they will be open
James D — Google review
It was smaller than I expected but the donuts delivered on taste! I wish I had more room in my belly. Maple bar was huge, raspberry jelly glazed was perfect. Not too expensive, just what you need to start the day.
Scott T — Google review
I bought a few donuts here today, and I'm very disappointed. The apple fritter was so burnt who ever was working today still decided to glaze and sell it. Quality and attention to detail are sub-par. I do not recommend nor will I be coming back to this place

Absolutely the BEST donuts in Bend. Highly recommend their chocolate. Get some and head over to the old mill and people watch!
Gery T — Google review
Fast & friendly service, but donuts weren’t remarkable. Maybe they were a little stale. Good looking fritter & classic sprinkles donut, but the taste was more like grocery store donuts.
Caitlin C — Google review
Nice little donut shop! My wife and I gave it a visit because she's gluten free and they sell gluten-free donuts. Earlier in the morning I got a donut at a competitors donut place, and I felt bad that she couldn't eat it. But that shop told us about sweetheart donuts and how they sold gluten-free ones. My wife chose a German chocolate cake donut that was gluten free, and we took it to go. When we got to the park to divulge she had one bite and made a face...."this is horrible." The crazy thing is she's not a picky, eater, and willingly tries (and likes) just about anything. However, she couldn't even finish the donut after that initial bite. She said it was so tasteless and texture-wise just horrible. It was the first and only thing she had to eat that morning so I knew she was hungry, but even then she wasn't even willing to eat more. She ended up throwing it away. And she knows I hate to waste food and money. But yeah, just horrible, at least the gluten free donuts.

Nestled in Bend, Oregon, this eatery redefines quick meals with its commitment to organic and sustainably sourced ingredients. Families will appreciate the kid-friendly menu that includes not just burgers and fries but also healthier options like salads, fruit bowls, and refreshing organic juices.
Nice restaurant with excellent options for gluten allergies. The food was flavorful and came out quickly. The sweet potato fries and regular fries both had great flavor, hard to choose which ones to try! Service could improve a little bit, but overall a good experience.

I went here for Free Fange Breakfast in my way to Mt Bachelor, but they were out of coffee. They literally had no beans. Keep in mind, this place is in the parking lot of a Safeway Grocery Store. Someone should have acquired some beans. I will be forced to take my coffee business elsewhere. Nice concept for a store tho, so 2 stars.
Luke B — Google review
Not sure what happened in the past year or so but it’s gone down hill. They always forget your sauces for fries and never put extra in the sandwich when you ask (which I’m pretty sure you pay for) also have me a slice of avocado which I know you pay extra for. Unfortunately they stopped allowing customers to tip at least they don’t put that as an option for when you pay at the drive thru. Probably the reason the employees don’t work as hard anymore. Used to be amazing! Been disappointed the last 3 times I’ve gone, not worth the price anymore.

I had a burger at the concert and boy $18 for cold burger and bun which seems like it came out of the fridge,$9 for a fries, this is a legal way to rip people off, charge them more money and sell them poor quality product!
Allan D — Google review
Used to love going to life&time! Not sure what's happening, but my last visit was not good. Ordered a double burger and sweet potato fries. Took much longer than typical to arrive, but when it did, the burger only had a single patty, and the fries were soggy and cold. Was debating asking for a remake or a refund and decided on letting them remake it. I must mention the waitress was apologetic and kind. Next time the food came out the fries were dark and burnt , and the burger patties were like cardboard. So dry! Needless to say, life and time has some work to do to get back to the food I remember. Hopefully sooner rather than later.
Duncan F — Google review
Life & Time used to be really good. Now they just don’t seem to care. Went there today, and we waited quite a while and they gave our order away to someone else. We asked about it, then they remade the order. The fries they gave us were not even lukewarm. We had to ask them to do it again. There is ZERO quality control here. We used to love Life & Time, but it is now going way down the list of good places for us. Very sad.
Marc H — Google review
Walked in for the first time today and was greeted within the first few seconds of walking in. The menu is pretty easy to understand and while the prices are a bit high, the quality makes up for it. I ordered the club chicken sandwich with the crispy chicken (like in the photo on the menu). This was one of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve had. The avocado was perfectly ripe, the chicken was crispy and I could taste a hint of peanut oil I believe. I could easily eat this sandwich with one hand without anything falling out. The tables were all clean and chairs pushed in. The music was pretty fitting for the environment as kind of fun and calming. Overall a great experience and I can’t wait to come back to try more of the menu. I have no doubt they will keep my 5 star rating. UPDATE: I have been back about 6 times already and have tried their double burger (very good), Tex Mex Bowl (holy f*** so good) and a few others. Still 5/5.
Isaac S — Google review
I had a fish taco bowl. It was very good. The seating area music was much too loud for an enjoyable dinner, so I got the food to go. The staff seemed like answering my questions was an imposition. I would not go back to this restaurant.

New York City Sub Shop - Midtown Bend is a low-key counter-serve chain that offers subs with names inspired by neighborhoods in NYC. In addition to subs, they also serve salads and chips. While Old Town Bend usually gets all the attention, Midtown Bend is worth considering for its affordable prices and proximity to the vibrant atmosphere of Old Town.
Travelling from Utah to SeaTac I stopped here for a day and needed food. I came here because Casey Ladelle / Cascade Heavy Rescue recommended the place, and boy was he on point. On all my US trips, this was yet the best sub (I went for Bronx), the friendliest people and some of the best atmosphere - playing low volume classic rock in the background to hum-sing along to, nice decorations and even a bookshelf! And the cookie was tasty, too. I was just missing the NY fuel: coffee - but that's easy to get a few doors down if you need a caffeine fix ;). Definitel recommended, all three thumbs up👍👍👍

Almost $16 for HALF a sandwich after tip and there are maybe 3 little pieces of steak in the whole thing! All i can taste is bread and lettuce and it was such a let down. I was so excited to try this place but it feels like i got straight scammed. Just go to jersey mikes even they are better…

Where do you go in Bend when you want a turkey sando that hits different… and cookies that could ruin your diet plans in the best possible way? New York City Sub Shop. Every. Single. Time. The turkey sando is my personal favorite—fresh, stacked, and legit delicious. And those cookies? Pure magic. Oh… and if you’re feeling the need for something warm and cheesy, their hot subs are absolute fire. Great people. Fast service. Local vibe. Five stars… no debate

I’ve had poke all over the West coast and Hawaii - a poke bowl should leave you in a food coma after, questioning your life choices cause it was so good and filling. Poke Row nails this! Having spent years in Hawaii, finding a similarly priced bowl that left you completely full was hard to come by but somehow, I finally found THE spot for this in wheee of all places? Bend!.. come here, fill up after a big bike ride, and leave satisfied :)

It’s ok. The flavors were a bit bland, and the options for toppings were limited. Highly recommend the owners take a look at Butterfish based in central California (Fresno). With some tweaking this place could be so much more enticing. The staff members were super efficient and nice!

You will not regret visiting here! This is some of the most delicious poke I’ve had. I’m addicted, now going once weekly. Generous portions, great customer service. What more can you ask for? Make sure to be adventurous and try different sauces! That’s where all the flavor comes from. I love mixing spicy ponzu and sesame soy together over spicy tuna, salmon and yellowfin.

Listen. This photo was taken 2 hours after I started eating it with my own fingers. The gal asked if I wanted a fork and I said no I'm going to go home and I ended up driving and I just put my fingers in this bowl. Absolutely delicious and she recommended that I do half rice and half greens. Excellent decision. I pulled over and almost finished it and realized that this one bowl at $20 was 2 or 3 meals so absolutely positively definitely recommend going here and having delicious food. I believe mine was called the Tyler Bowl.

Poke Row is amazing! The fish is so fresh and the bowls are great. It’s a different mix on sushi but even better. Vegan and vegetarian options available. Prices are awesome for what you get. Nestled in the charming town of Bend, Mother’s Juice Cafe is a delightful haven for health enthusiasts and food lovers alike. With convenient locations on both the east and west sides, this cafe makes it easy to indulge in their scrumptious offerings any time of day. Kickstart your morning with their Baden Baden breakfast sandwich, featuring a delectable blend of avocado, egg, spinach, Swiss cheese, and chimichurri on heavenly multi-grain bread.
Mother’s in Bend, Oregon, is a charming restaurant with adorable decor. I ordered the ‘Hello Portobello,’ which was a delicious marinated portobello mushroom sandwich with heirloom tomatoes, caramelized onions, goat cheese, pistachio crumble, herb lemon aioli, and wild arugula on thick-sliced in house sourdough bread. When you bit into the sandwich the immediate flavor I got was the marinated portobello. As I chewed I could smell the fragrant caramelized onions. It was nice that every few bites you got a little bit of the pistachio crumble, that left you wanting more. The heirloom tomato had that fresh from the vine taste to it, it was thickly sliced and had the perfect acidity. The goat cheese and the lemon aioli married this sandwich together tastefully. The flavors were complex and well-balanced. I was pleasantly surprised to find potato salad with my order. It was homemade and delicious, with tender potatoes, a dill-flavored mayonnaise based sauce, and subtle notes of red onion and scallion. I wouldn't be surprised if it was in-house made mayonnaise. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. The restaurant was spotless and had a pleasant outdoor seating area. The sandwich was light and refreshing, and I would definitely return for another meal. Mother’s Westside Kitchen is only open for breakfast and lunch, closing at 3 PM. Their menu offers a variety of breakfast options, sandwiches, wraps, salads, bowls, smoothies, juices, and coffee.

All of the bad reviews for this restaurant are about the service or hours. None of them are about the food. The food is amazing. Very high quality healthy juices, bowls and smoothies. It’s always nice to have a clean meal on the road. I feel like the workers here are all young 20 somethings or college kids, you can’t expect exemplary service from them in the first place. Most of the negative reviews here sound like Karens lol. Underrated spot, try it out.

I really wanted to love this place because I love healthy, high quality food. The beet apple sandwich was weird but pretty good. The bohemian rhapsody was a bit disappointing. Both seemed wildly overpriced, even for high quality ingredients. That bohemian rhapsody was NOT worth $18 + tip or whatever I paid for it. Sorry. 😕

Honestly really disappointing. This was my first time eating at Mothers and I doubt I’ll go back after my experience. I ordered the perfectly sunny breakfast as well as a sweet breakfast bowl. They were out of granola (how this is possible so early in the morning is beyond me) they did not offer a discount for this and I had to ask for an equivalent option without it being offered. To fix this we opted to add cashews, to which they added very few of. For my perfectly sunny breakfast I’d rate it anything but. I got the order to go and upon opening it the avocado was bad and brown with spots. For $17 the avocado is a big part of the meal so it was a bummer to be shorted and given a bad avocado. As for the rest of the meal, I’d say it was so so— definitely not worth the $32 I paid plus a tip. Overall, after reading other reviews and having heard good things about this restaurant I’m very disappointed in the quality especially at the price point.

Everything from the food, friendly service, and atmosphere is a 12/10!!! The lady that took my order today was such a light. My breakfast burrito was cooked to deliciousness as well. Honestly, $20 for a great burrito and a 16oz matcha is SO reasonable compared to a lot of restaurants in Bend. Can’t wait to come back! 🤎

-Loved- this spot. We were just passing through but stopped for breakfast. We had the Morning Buzz coffee, Sambazon Bowl, Avocado Toast, and Bitty Bites. All were perfect. Everything was so fresh, perfectly cooked and crafted. Everyone we met there was very helpful and authentically kind (like *radiating* kindness! It was crazy!) It seemed everyone was happy to be there, enjoyed their job and it showed in their work. Space was spotless, and there was a freshly stocked kids area with color books and such. If we lived nearby it’d be a weekly (daily?) stop for sure!

I walked from my hotel to try the smoothie bowl at this vegan cafe and was not disappointed with the experience. I ordered a Passion Punch Smoothie and a Very Berry Smoothie bowl after a short wait in line. The plant based menu includes sandwiches, sweets, hearty macro bowls that have brown rice, vegetables, quiona. and beans. and much more. I received my order in about twenty minutes with no problems. The drink had coconut milk, mango, strawberries, passion puree, and orange juice. It was thick and had a nice taste to it. The Very Berry Smoothie Bowl had strawberries, raspberries, bananas, coconut milk, and goji granola. The bowl had great taste with the fresh fruit mixed with the granola and Smoothie mixture. Located in the Box Factory near downtown Bend on NW Arizona Avenue and next to the River Pig Saloon. A great place to stop for a healthy plant based breakfast or lunch, with friendly service. a nice drink menu with lattes and smoothies, and a great atmosphere.

The food here is amazing and so guilt free, it’s no shock that there’s always a line and the patio packed with customers. There was about a 15min wait for the food to come even on a Monday, but I guess to be expected at such a popular spot. We were able to find a table and enjoyed our meal with dogs and families and the sunshine. A great vibe.

Great service, delicious breakfast vegetarian/vegan burrito. Coffee was tasty though they only have paper cups, not mugs. Lovely place to sit inside or outside and lots of walking around you can do. It was the crunchy bits of walnut in the burrito and the sauce that made it really unique.

I’m so glad we found this spot in Bend! If you’re looking for something healthy (and delicious!) this is the place. Friendly staff, great outdoor seating (dog friendly too!), and customizable options that help you meet your individual health goals. We can’t wait to come back!

I recently visited Fix & Repeat a spot for fresh, homemade, plant-based food! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the friendly and welcoming staff who made me feel right at home. The menu is fantastic, offering a wide variety of delicious options including coffee, sandwiches, bowls, smoothies, and baked goods. I tried the IT Sando, Banh Mi Bowl, bursting with flavor and clearly made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The smoothie bowls are particularly amazing, packed with vibrant fruits and superfoods. What sets this eatery apart is their dog-friendly food options. My pup loved the specially crafted treats, and it was so nice to be able to enjoy a meal knowing my furry friend was also well taken care of. The cozy atmosphere, combined with the thoughtful and delicious plant-based offerings, makes Fix & Repeat a true gem. Whether you're a dedicated vegan or just someone who appreciates great food, this place is a must-visit. Highly recommend!

Been here twice. Had the acai bowl, mango chia pudding, and burrito bowl. All of it very good! Indoor/outdoor seating really nice. And all the staff very welcoming. If you want a solid healthy food option and/or vegan option, this is the spot!!

Salud Raw Food is a vibrant and colorful raw vegan cafe located in Bend, Oregon. The menu offers a variety of healthy and delicious options, including sweet potato nachos, breakfast burritos, collard wraps, and crunchy salads. One of their popular dishes is the Rawkin Tacos with a five-spice walnut-based filling and an explosion of colors and flavors. The cafe serves smoothie bowls, toasts, nori wraps, salads, and tacos from breakfast through dinner.
This vegan café is truly a hidden gem of Bend. They serve amazing colorful salads and wraps. Seasonal soups, creamy vegan desserts and convenient grab and go items. I believe they even offer juice cleanses. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area. 10/10 recommend.

The cutest cozy spot to enjoy tasty and savory raw food delights! It was love at first bite for me. We'll be back regularly.

Amazing and innovative smoothies and treats. Handmade Vegan options like Plant milks of Hemp or Almond milk. Also, Vegan Spicy Tuna Nori rolls. Savory toast is absolutely 💯 delicious. I can say you want to eat here for sure, a do not miss it kind of restaurant.

What a special place! Salud serves some of the freshest and most delicious food I’ve ever had, everything just bursts with flavor. Their tomatoes and basil transports me back to eating food from my grandmother’s garden. The attention and care that goes into each dish and drink is apparent. You’ll find every color of the rainbow and the portions are generous. The owner and employees are so kind and passionate about serving high quality, great tasting healthy food. So glad to support this business and look forward to trying everything on the menu!

Stopped in to Salud for dessert. The vanillacker raw cheesecake was one of the best I’ve ever had. Decided to get a smoothie too and it felt healthy and was tasty. Went back the next morning for a smoothie bowl. A great choice too. I wish I was local so I could be a regular patron. Thanks for the great treats!

Yummy yummy yummy! The food here is always fresh, delicious AND healthy! Love the Obsidian chocolate smoothie and the tacos. Met the new owner today who elevates the service and was super kind and excited to continue what is already a great restaurant but looking forward to more yummier choices! Highly recommend :)

Stopped by on our way out of Bend last month and I’m still thinking about it!!! The food was so fresh and delicious. I miss healthy options like this and I really wish they were in Portland but I can see how business would be better out here. I will make sure to stop by when in town again.

Midtown Yacht Club, situated in Bend's central district, is a popular food truck lot with a variety of dining options. The location offers both indoor and outdoor seating and features seven food carts serving high-quality sushi, vegan comfort food, Israeli street food, waffles, hot dogs, tater tots, and Mexican cuisine with Spanish influences. With around 20 rotating beers and ciders available at the taphouse, it's an ideal spot for casual snacking and drinks.
This is a great spot! I tried a Krabby Patty with a side of potato salad from Lively Up Yourself. The potato salad was incredible, perfectly seasoned, and I'll look forward to having it again. The Krabby Patty was good but could have used more seasoning - It comes with a yummy mayo which was the star of the show but I do wish the patty itself would have had that quality too. However, my experience was great and I would certainly come again!

Tried the pizza week special from the P!zza food truck. One of the most unique yet still delicious and flavorful pizzas i've ever experienced. The head of fun round off trivia going on and good atmosphere. Bummed there was no water available in the big sports cooler while I waited for my pie so I left to eat drink elsewhere
Katy — Google review
It's a simple idea: pair food trucks with a central tap house, provide tables, enjoy. They nailed it. The truck options are excellent (though I usually just go BarRio - never been disappointed), the tap room has great choices and the overall vibe, rustic, social, casual, is just my style
Steve E — Google review
Great food cart pod with lots of options. They have beer, wine, cider, and seltzer available

About 8 food carts with plenty of seating outside, many with shade. Some indoor seats. Lots of tasty beers on tap.

I’ve got to say that the best vibe in Bend, smooth jazz and good wine, rests squarely at midtown yacht club on tuesdays and Wednesday afternoons. Marty serves up terrific music, great selections and great service
Steve H — Google review
Another excellent find for food and drinks. Classic outdoor food lot with 5+ different food cuisines. Indoor space is open industrial with ample seating that flows outside. Family friendly with live music. Plenty of beer and wine to choose from. I enjoyed that they selected several breweries from outside the area, and are hosting other beer events. Prices as expected. A much needed asset in the NE side of Bend.

Cafe
Kevista Coffee is a beloved local spot with a strong sense of community and friendly service. The staff's love for their craft and their faith is evident, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Patrons often encounter familiar faces, contributing to the small-town feel that Kevista embodies. The quality of their beverages, including the highly recommended dirty chai, sets them apart from other coffee shops.
I -FINALLY- was able to experience Kevista in person after so much time of admiring this location from afar! I have always loved their incredible love for freedom and it was a JOY to support in person! The kindest people, the cutest ambiance, the most tasty coffees, and the CHAI! Sooooo good!
Sarah F — Google review
Loved the space! An open concept coffee spot in the center of all things Bend. Amazing fixed ceiling swings to tempt you while you sip and socialize. The drinks were a bit too sweet, especially as we were trying to avoid the “sugary coffee chain” directly next door. But the ambience, location, original menu and atmosphere was excellent. Love to support local. You should too.
Caitlin G — Google review
Cute coffee place. They have a limited breakfast option. 5 stars for creating an amazing vibe.
Harshul S — Google review
Comfortable place to sit and work. Nice aesthetic. WiFi worked well. Not too loud. Free refills on drip coffee.
Mia B — Google review
It was my first time going to this cafe, it’s cute and a cozy place but I did not have a pleasant experience ordering, the menus are not helpful at all, and they don’t show any prices. You can pretty much order any kind of coffee you want which might affect drink prices, but the food doesn’t show prices, which doesn’t make sense. Then when I asked the barista for the price she gave me a rude response that the sandwich was out of stock. I was being as polite as possible with my bf but she still acted very passive aggressive towards us when we were asking questions. (literally our first time there.) The breakfast burrito ended up being $12+ and for that price I expected it to be higher quality. You basically get a microwaved egg and cheese burrito with a little bit of peppers and potatoes with hardly any spices. $12 for a premade frozen burrito is steep. The only way it gets a three star is because the coffee was good, but note it’s around $7 for the smallest size.

The diner-style breakfast restaurant Sargent's Cafe Inc is a small, but beloved local favorite. The Cougar Special and the perfect diner vibe make it a must-try for any visitor to Portland.
You have to try this cafe for breakfast (or, lunch). We stopped at this wonderful local favorite as we were going down the road. Fabulous breakfast!!! Could be one of the best! The sausage, mushroom, onion, and swiss omelet was made perfectly and so delicious. She had ham, swiss, and avocado omelet. Egually as succulent. Both came with pancakes that were so different. You've got to try them. Service was outstanding by Colleen. She was very friendly and attentive. Coffee mugs left full, too. I'm sure everything is made equally well here. You'll love it here!
Steve B — Google review
My wife was looking for breakfast for lunch and Sargent's fit the bill. She ordered the Taco Omelet and since they found the sour cream was not good, they added avocado to it, which was fine. She really enjoyed it. I had Country Fried Steak and Eggs and also really enjoyed my meal. Both of these were under $10, so it is also a bargain. Service was solid and we would gladly dine here again.
Bill J — Google review
Crazy good old fashioned cafe! We had the chicken fried steak and mashed potatoes. Well, the potatoes were made from scratch and the steak was fantastic. Excellent prices and friendly service. And the breakfast the next day was excellent too!

Basic old school diner. Veggie omelet was cooked well with lots of fresh veggies. Waitress was awesome and the food came quickly. Glad we stopped in on our trip across the USA.

The "Please Seat Yourself" sign on a busy Saturday late a.m. was a huge fail. Our party of 4 was waiting for an open table and a group of 5 decided to bypass us and cram themselves into a booth that had not been cleaned from the prior customers. We finally split our group and sat in different places, which was no big deal. Unfortunately, the restaurant smells faintly of pee, poop, and disinfectant (think "nursing home"), and the closer we were to the restrooms, the worse it was. I wasn't even going to use the restroom because I was afraid of what the conditions were. The food I ordered was below average. The potatoes (some well cooked, some not) tasted like they had been fried in rancid oil. I will say something positive and mention that my omelette was decent, and I ate about half of it. Also, the service was friendly.

*diamond in the rough* This little old run down restaurant is literally a diamond hidden In the rough. Great, fast, and friendly service!! The server Came back with anything and everything we asked for. We are a bit picky with that being said, I went in with my boyfriend and we both customized our meals. Both meals came out as we requested. Food was served in a very timely manner. The prices were fair for what we got as well which is great especially since here in bend I’ve noticed you over pay for poor quality food.great little place and we will definitely be returning to try their lunch and dinner menu as well💯💕

Nestled among trees, The Podski Food Cart Lot is a vibrant open-air space with an indoor bar offering local beers and ciders. It boasts ten diverse food carts, making it a culinary hub that has become a destination in its own right. The lot features an enclosed beer garden, outdoor picnic tables, and a cozy fire pit for patrons to enjoy.
The $7 large draft beer was incredible! Oysters were good but hoped for more for the cost. Pierogies were good and the sampler made it a more fun eating experience.
Walker S — Google review
The Podski is a Bend staple! It’s definitely a local spot, but if you’re close to it, I recommend trying it out! There’s a ton of different cuisines that you can try and they’re all fabulous! They do run out of their popular dishes, so get there earlier in the day if you have your heart set on something. Enjoy!

Update 7/22. Still awesome with a great location. Food trucks are closing a little earlier than expected sometimes. Very cool place that had time off upgrades recently. Great beer selection with around 10 taps plus an indoor seating area. Numbers food trucks outside that can fill any appetite. Family friendly with fire and outside areas too. Overall great downtown please that is a must stop if you're in town.

Third Street Pub is a beloved establishment that feels like home to many. Despite being considered a dive bar by some, it's a place where respect and humility are valued, and where visitors can become part of the family. The limited menu during the pandemic still offers awesome food, with the Rubin being highly recommended. The younger bartender is skilled in cooking, adding to the appeal of their great bar food and beer selection.
Awesome food! During the "covid" they have a limited menu but I got the Rubin and it was awesome! The younger guy/bartender that made it knows how to cook. I would recommend this place for great bar food and beer.

Very welcoming staff, great ownership. Food is really good for a pub, great breakfast on Saturday. The smoked ribs you can smell blocks away being prepared in the back.
Ken W — Google review
I was apart of this hard knock family for a couple years and i moved away thinking of this place like cheers. I lit the signs and closed this beautiful place. It may be a dive bar to you but its home to me. If you bring respect and humility you can gain a family. Its not for the faint hearted but they are family to me.
Jonathan M — Google review
The rudest people I've ever had to deal with in a bar in my life! Pretty sure it was the owner himself who I witnessed trash talking customers that were there, being extremely racist, and staring at the more scantily dressed females which, mind you are the only people I didn't hear him talking bad about while I tried to enjoy a drnk! Disgusting, rude, unprofessional, NEVER going back.
