Calp, a charming town on Spain's Mediterranean coast, offers a diverse range of experiences for travelers. From the sandy Arenal-Bol beach to the Roman site Baños de la Reina and the impressive limestone rock of Peñón de Ifach with its thriving birdlife, there is no shortage of natural and historical wonders to explore. The nearby ruins of Pobla de Ifac, a medieval walled village, add an extra layer of history to the area.

Platja de la Fossa is a stunning beach known for its crystal-clear waters, family-friendly amenities, and a bustling promenade lined with various dining and shopping options. The area boasts over 5 km of breathtaking cliffs, including the prominent Penon de Ifach, Toix, and La Manzanera.
Water: very clear, very clean. No waves! Very still water. The beach is full , lots and lots of people on tiny space You can wash you feet ✅

This is the other beachfront in Calpe, less crowded, where walkers find the usual restaurants, bars and souvenirs shops. Ideal for a short stroll. The beach itself is wide, it must be packed during the summer months. The beach is cleaned up everything morning by the municipality technical services. There are benches along the way which allows for frequent breaks.
Maxi M — Google review
Today Saturday 13. 2025 I came to this beach because of the sand but like always pay zone for parking ... Here in Spain greed in s eternal. The view is exceptional having a mountain stick out of the water ... The water is relatively clear and clean. There aren't many paid umbrellas and this is a good thing The beach is wide and has many restaurants. It's 4/5 because of the paid parking and the algae in the water

Fantastic & Scenic Beach in Calpe This is a scenic beach in Calpe, it is very long very wide and the sand is great. It has lots of shops, boutiques, restaurants & cafés around it. The water is quite shallow so good for the young kids. The best part though is the fabulous view of the rock! We really enjoyed our time in Calpe.
Paul V — Google review
Two minute walk from our hotel, a lovely walk down towards the rock and then it continues all around to the town centre. Very clean and great to just stroll and enjoy the sunshine and views.
Steven T — Google review
Blue flag beach with crystal clear water and nice sandy beach, although the beach is becoming narrower. Unfortunately the city council are hoodwinked into believing that allowing the dead seaweed to pile up is environmentaly friendly. But not for the economy of the city which relies on tourists. It stinks and is really smelly and you have to climb mountains of it to get to the sea. The contract for sunbed management is also messed up by the incompetent City Council, so no sunbeds or umbrellas for hire. Shame because it used to be beautiful!
Andrew W — Google review
Very nice area for evening walk and also great beach although we weren't beaching there. If was clean, not that busy and with great views! The letters of Calpe are a nice place to have a photo at (of course I have had a few). There are also lots of bars and restaurant that you coild choose from for a drink or a meal. Would recommend it, if in the area.

Cala del Mallorquí is a secluded cove on the Costa Blanca, offering intimate and tranquil surroundings for visitors. Accessible via a scenic path, this small beach boasts clear waters ideal for snorkeling and diving. With only about 30 meters of sand and rocks, it remains relatively uncrowded, providing a serene atmosphere to enjoy the stunning views of Penon d'Ifach.

(Translated by Google) A small cove that to access it we had to go down the stairs of the path. Of course, the beach has little sand, very quiet, surrounded by vegetation and perfect for snorkeling, it is worth coming equipped with appropriate footwear to avoid problems due to the pebbles, and it does not have any type of service, (Original) Una pequeña Cala que para acceder a la misma tuvimos que bajar por las escaleras del sendero.

(Translated by Google) We were expecting a quiet beach, but instead found a very noisy atmosphere. Loud music, groups drinking, and little security. The site has potential, but it's being lost due to the lack of security. We wouldn't go back, at least not during peak season.

(Translated by Google) I really don't know if this cove I'm mentioning is Mallorquí or Les Bassetes. In any case, it is one of the most beautiful and hidden in Calpe. With stone platforms that allow easy access to the water, full of fish, which are perfectly seen snorkeling, and hermit crabs. Little space to put towels, chairs or umbrellas, but people come and go and you can always enjoy a little of this wonderful cove.

Cala de la Fustera is a stunning bay that stretches 110 meters in length and 40 meters in width, making it the most vibrant and sought-after beach in the region. This sandy paradise boasts fine golden sands and crystal-clear waters, perfect for swimming and snorkeling.
The place is beautiful! Too bad we got cloudy days during our holiday. I wish I had sunny days to see how the place shines under the sun.
Alina P — Google review
Great views and an all around beautiful spot for sightseeing. Only a small area was marked off for swimming likely due to the rocks in the water, careful not to slip! The sand is a bit too coarse for my taste but still glad I came to see it.
Val T — Google review
Beautiful Cala This is a great spot, a bit harder to reach than some other beaches but so worth it! The water was crystal clear, warm and the bay is really nice. Highly recommended.
Paul V — Google review
Gorgeous sandy beach, although the sand is a little coarse. Kayaks for rent. Beachside bar where you can sit down for food & drinks or takeaway ice creams. Typically busy but with space on the beach, car park often full. There is a shady picnic area with benches. There is a children's play area on the beach. On the coastal path, very short walk to tourist information centre.
Brad W — Google review
Beautiful Cala , it’s very small but is easy to access although not easy to find parking
Deborah L — Google review
A free public lagoon type of sand beach. Easily approachable by car, some free parking spots as well on the roadside. Really liked the sand as it was not too fine, therefore didnt get everywhere. There was a lot of dead algae in the water, also a big pile of dried washed out algae on one side of the beach (mid April). Water was colder than at some other beaches, probably because the water was not shallow. Only toilet was of the restaurant's.
CJ — Google review
Stunning beach well worth the visit and recommended to spend time to relax on the beach. Or do some snorkeling and paddle boarding. Also ideal to start the coastal walk to Calpe.
Kent R — Google review
The beach 🏖 is small but very nice! For families just amazing! The water quality is perfect. I was September 2017 there and it was great place for swimming 🏊 and relaxing.

The area also features ruins like Banos de la Reina Mora and the remains of the Salazones Factory, as well as the Moli of Morello, which was once a mill adapted to a watchtower base for spotting pirates. Nearby are thermal springs from the Roman village.
What a great beach! Total sand. Very flat and gentle gradient. Lifeguard tower (although they spend more time on their phone than watching the bathers!) and not too crowded even at peak season. Went in august and water was very warm. Perfect spot to take kids.

(Translated by Google) It's well located. It has easy access and very good acoustics. The parish priests are very approachable. Some images of saints should be improved/replaced; they don't inspire devotion and seem more like Fallas ninots. This is said with the greatest respect for the saints and the ninots. Given the obvious lack of funding, an empty space is better.

Les Salines is a stunning coastal saltwater reservoir located in the heart of the city. It's known for its vibrant population of flamingos and other bird species, making it a popular spot for nature enthusiasts and families alike. Visitors can enjoy leisurely walks along wooden walkways around the water, observing the mesmerizing sight of pink flamingos freely moving in their natural habitat.
Nearby the beautiful city of Calpe at the Costa Blanca. Flamingos in the middle of the city! Don't forget to relax at the beach side for some excellent coffee or a cocktail. The beach is nice and quiet (not so much in summer time though). Our favourite coffee shop is also here, but this remains a secret to just us of course... (^_-)

(Translated by Google) A natural park, the former Calpe Salt Flats and now a bird observatory, along the 4-km trail that surrounds the park, there are viewing points that allow you to see the flamingo colony and various other birds that inhabit the lagoon without disturbing it. With the Ifach Rock in the background and the buildings of Calpe surrounding it, the walk becomes a delight. And the photographs are spectacular. A truly enjoyable afternoon. It just needs some improvement; the path around the lagoon is neglected, as is the vegetation. Such an important spot in the city shouldn't be so neglected.
