Congress Park, located in Saratoga Springs NY, offers a serene escape from the city's hustle and bustle with its lush green spaces, landscaped gardens, and historic former casino building. Visitors can enjoy picnicking amidst statuary and fountains while exploring the park's stunning scenery. The park is also home to several mineral springs that are a part of the city's history.
Very pleasant surprise. Got there just in time foe a guided tour of the first floor. Very informative. Second and third floor on your own. Beautiful building and rooms.

This place is truly awesome,it instantly lifts your mood with its ancient monuments and beautiful fountains that create an aesthetic vibe. The environment is perfect for hanging out or simply enjoying the surroundings. On top of that, there are many ducks around, adding to the charm. Since we went after 6 p.m., we unfortunately didn’t get the chance to ride the carousel.Although we faced a lot of hassle with car parking at the beginning, the park’s charming atmosphere completely made us forget that struggle.
Maria O — Google review
Having only ever thought this Park was for the carousel, I was pleasantly surprised. You could spend some time here with the family or even make it a Date Night Destination. Beautiful!
Landon M — Google review
What a treat to walk through this park on a beautiful spring morning with many plants in blossom. The various fountains and other monuments in Italian Renaissance and grecian style transported me to a fantasy world.

This park was one of my stops while I visited this historic city for the 1st time. Its a neat park located in the downtown area of the city right on Broadway.it has some cool sculptures and statuses and also include a war memorial. Definitely worth checking out if visiting the area

Went up for The Second Sunday Market, absolutly fantastic! Wonderful vendors! Also saw a TON of ducks and 6 ducklings! Soooo cute!!!!

Love taking my dog for a walk here. It's beautiful any time of year, especially all the architecture. Many views and benches to take a seat. Fresh spring water to drink and cameras hidden up on the bird houses make you feel secure. It's also a great place to go on a run with a variety of loops and trails!

Saratoga Spa State Park is a historic landmark offering a blend of art, culture, and recreational activities. Visitors can delve into the city's slogan 'Health, History, Horses' and learn about its famous beverage. The park also provides insights into the city's history and thoroughbred racing at the Saratoga Race Course. Additionally, visitors can enjoy a fun scavenger hunt with rewards for those who complete it successfully.
One of our favorites places on Earth! The grounds are so spacious and well groomed! If you are in Saratoga, you really should at the very least drive through the park. Bring a chair .. take a nap under a tree, there is plenty of room. You can bring your dog and let him run free. This park is well known for its mineral baths, so if you are inclined to enjoy a bath in evervescent water (by appointment only), this is the place!
Diane W — Google review
Loved this state park, woods and a stream to explore. Many different natural springs and mineral waters to taste, history to learn about. Very interesting and I'd love to come back and picnic near the stream and explore more.
Patty R — Google review
We visited Saratoga downtown & walked down to the State Park! Simply beautiful! There are multiple wooded trails, beautiful pathways & the iconic spa buildings that are a photographers dream! The park was peaceful & we enjoyed venturing around! We didn’t get far enough in to try the water springs but seeing the buildings was stunning!

If you are looking for a place to relax, breath pure air? This is the place. If you love taking long walks? Absolutely stunning place for a walk about in the changing leaves. They had a beautiful autumnal display at the entrance to the park to snap a few photos. We stayed at the hotel on the park property and it’s just beautiful. Really has a lot of history in the building. Would love to stay again!

Canfield Casino, located in Congress Park, is a historic site in Saratoga Springs. The park also features four famous mineral springs and the impressive bronze statue called the Spirit of Life. Visitors interested in history can explore the Saratoga History Museum and Canfield Museum to learn about the city's past. Additionally, guided trolley tours are available every fall, offering insight into ghostly locations including the second floor of Canfield Casino.
Had a guided tour by a very knowledgeable person. Very interesting stories as we went from room to room. The guided tour will let you see other rooms that is not available for the self guided tour. I recommend the guided tour. The rooms they showed us were amazing!! The old casino is so beautiful. Each room tells a story.
Sarah J — Google review
Attended a wedding as an out-of-towner, and was in awe of the venue. The main room for the reception was stunning with high ceilings and stained glass. The parlor room for cocktail hour was spacious and gorgeous. This is a true gem in Saratoga.
Dan C — Google review
Possibly my favorite Saratoga wedding venues! I’ve capture many weddings as a photographer, videographer & content creator. The location is beautiful inside, and the outside is a beautiful park with so many great photo spots in a small area!
Angel W — Google review
As a wedding photographer I have seen many venues but the Canfield Casino is one of the most iconic and refined wedding venues in downtown Saratoga Springs. It offers that rare blend of history, grandeur, and warmth that makes a wedding feel both elevated and deeply meaningful. The architecture alone is stunning with soaring ceilings, rich wood details, a stunning stained glass ceiling and refined elegance. It feels intimate even when it's grand. Every corner tells a story, and that depth translates beautifully into images. The location is ideal for couples wanting a downtown Saratoga experience for their guests. Congress Park is just steps away for portraits, and guests love being able to explore the city on foot. It's luxury without pretension making your wedding classic, sophisticated, and unforgettable. — Julia Starkey, Julia Rebecca Photography

Great museum, there is a lots of things what you can hear and learn. It was very popular in the past, we had great guide guy and she explained so many things to us. The tour was about 20 minutes and then we had some free time to explore some more parts pf the building. Great!
Luka V — Google review
Did not attend a wedding- went to the Saratoga Springs Historical Museum, which is housed in the majority of the former casino. It was incredible! The first floor is docent-led, with info about the area and the casino then a private tour into the lower stakes rooms, which is now the event space. Then the second and third floors are exhibits on the area, the grand hotels, the high rollers rooms of the casino, an exhibit on women's shoe fashion, exhibit on the springs and bottling Saratoga water, and more. It was interesting and well done. Worth a visit!
Rachel H — Google review
This is my 2nd wedding here and I have to say that the place is top shelf!! The food was great and they had a 10 piece band there with a brass section, and they we're dynamite ,the staff was excellent. If the craftsmanship that has gone into the Canfield casino is unbelievably beautiful. It has all the old world charm and class as it is built up to be.. Highly recommended but I'm sure it doesn't come cheap and I hear there's a long wait list good luck!
Jim R — Google review
We had our wedding there in August and it was perfect! The building is beautiful inside and out. We took pictures right in Congress Park and they all came out stunning. It is located right in downtown Saratoga, so we walked to the bars after! It was the most perfect wedding venue.

Saratoga Performing Arts Center, located in Saratoga Springs, New York, is a renowned venue for a variety of performances and events. With a capacity for 20,000 spectators, it hosts rock concerts, ballets, and family events in its sunken theater and adjacent lawn. The center's mission is to promote appreciation and love for the performing arts among its members and the community.
I’ve been to SPAC three times in the past three years. The first time was for Larkin Poe at the Outlaw Music Festival. As fans of Larkin Poe my wife saw that they were playing at SPAC which was a place we wanted to see. We purchased the tickets from Larkin Poe website and didn’t know they were just one of many bands playing for the Willie Nelson Outlaw Music Festival. It was a great concert. We had seats in the lower area which are great as you can get up and walk around and know you still have a place to sit when you get back. The next two times at SPAC was for Dave Mathews Band. These were with friends who have seen Dave Mathews many times. We had lawn tickets both times. The sound was fine and the large displays let you see everything. Being so far away from the stage I never know if I should look at the band or the displays. It has more of that festival party feel. My next time there I hope to get seats again in the Amphitheater. If you are sitting on the lawn, it’s worth bringing a small blanket which gives you your own space but you need to arrive early so you get a place with a good view. You need to read the rules. You are only to take in “clear plastic, vinyl or PVC tote bags no larger than 12” x 6” x 12” and/or small clutches, wristlets, or fanny packs that are not clear (6”x 9”).” You can bring water bottles that you can fill up there. Your phone is also used as your ticket to get into SPAC. There are lots of options for food and drinks. As expected everything is expensive. It’s a Cashless Payment venue. Most people pay with their phones but credit cards also work. We also go to Saratoga Spa State Park (2,400-acre) to hike. I like when we make a full day out of a concert. Arriving early to take a hike and then do a little tailgating. Alcohol is not allowed in the parking lots but doesn’t seem to be enforced (lucky for us).
Bill L — Google review
Saw Weird Al with my family and had the best time. As far as the venue goes, as you can see in other comments here and on other sites, the experience at SPAC is on the down slide. People are forced to rent lawn chairs. The food and drink are outrageously priced. The bathroom situation wasn't bad. There were plenty of stalls in the men's room, and it was very clean. The biggest fault I experienced was returning to my seat in section 6. When I first arrived, the girl at the bottom of the ramp to the balcony told us to go down to the lower ramp on the extreme right. Fine. There were no lines. When I went left just before the show started and came back the line at the entrance I went in was obscenely long so I went to the girl t the balcony ramp and told her the line was very long. She said it was OK to use her ramp, just use the stairs to go down to my section, no big deal. We'll the older lady at the top of the ramp sniffed and said girl shouldn't be letting people up there. In my opinion, if the lines are getting long to get to one section, let people use the other entrance ramps to get into the amphitheater. Otherwise, it was a great experience.
Archangel L — Google review
SPAC is fantastic. I've been attending shows there for almost 45 years and it never ceases to amaze me how beautiful the sound is. There are limitations, such as the lawn is usually more dirt than grass, and the rules for food and drinks and chairs are quite strict (seems to be all about money, not safety). That being said, it is very well run, in a pristine state park and fully designed for the best sound outdoor ampatheater can provide. 5 ⭐✨⭐✨⭐
Kevin B — Google review
Lawn seats with chair rental: the slope is sufficient to see the stage without making you feel like you're going to roll down. Plenty of points to meet up with friends and family if needed. Large screens cycle through the performers along the outside of the seating area so you get a decent view of the action onstage. It is a cashless venue, so cards might be your best bet, with digital pay options available. Concessions are ample and reasonably efficient, but attendance will be the deciding factor. Bathrooms are centrally located. Keep an eye on the weather and plan accordingly, and, as always, read all restrictions to plan your outing accordingly.
Bryan T — Google review
Great venue to see concert!! You can pay for seat in the bowl or pay less to sit on lawn. Lawn seats is a nice experience to listen to your favorite artist , may not see them though
Leon J — Google review
Just a beautiful venue! This was our first time visiting SPAC and we were very impressed by how everything flowed. I did find the signage for parking a little confusing, but mark that as due to my own inexperience. We were seated fairly close to the stage, but were still able to enjoy the occasional evening breeze. Will definitely consider returning for another show down the road!
Tim B — Google review
Have actually been to 2 concerts this summer. My friends and I saw the dave matthews band and then Little Big Town.. we had lawn seats for dave matthews.. which was fine.. as it was warm, no precipitation. It was really busy.. we stood on an incline but we danced lots so it was great...super expensive alcholic beverages but .. that was expected. We had balcony seats for the other concert.. which was a good thing as well as it was a bit chilly and intermittently drizzling . Sound and visuals really good. We are actually going to a third concert this weekend. We are seeing Melissa Etheridge and the Indigo girls. I hadnt been to SPAC in too many years to remember but I love it and would have gone to every concert if possible. All peeps working venue also great from security to the gals serving drinks.. Only negatives.. obviously takes a long time to leave parking area and... people that litter.. uggh
Kristin C — Google review
Not the best venue to see a concert at. Lawn seating is outside the actual concert hall, and tickets will give you the opportunity to sit on bark mulch and watch LED screens of the concert you paid to see, happening inside the concert structure. People hanging out in the parking lot had a better experience for only $10. This type of ticket sales for "lawn" seating should be illegal. To reiterate: Lawn Tickets have no view of the stage inside the concert hall. Avoid this type of seating.

The Saratoga Springs Visitor Center is a must-visit spot before embarking on your city exploration. Housed in the historic 1915 Beaux Arts building known as The Drinkhall, it offers information on local attractions and hosts unique guided trolley tours of ghostly locations in Saratoga every fall. The lush grounds surrounding the center add to its charm, making it an ideal starting point for tourists.
Small but well kept visitor center with knowledgable and friendly staff with suggestions for your trip and historical info about this building which was a former trolley station.. Thank you Joe and Carol!

Great place to check in and see what's going on in town when you visit - or even live there. Staff is very helpful and seem to know everything! i was impressed with the architecture and history of the building. The walking tours are wonderfully insightful.
Theresa J — Google review
An elderly gentleman at the visitor center was incredibly helpful. He showed us the most interesting spots since we had limited time and told us what was worth seeing. It was a pleasure talking to him. Overall, the visitor center is large and very informative.
Iryna S — Google review
Took the 90-minute walking tour this morning that started from the visitor center and ended up at a nearby casino. It is about a quarter of a mile walking tour. Our guide, Judy, was fantastic. She is a retired history teacher and knew the history of Saratago Springs extremely well. Taste the mineral water from a spring that has been in operation for 200 years. Enjoy the game rooms of a casino that operated during the mid-1800s.
Ray S — Google review
Hands down one of the best visitors centers I’ve frequented. The caveat is that it wasn’t busy but the woman working there spent a good hour talking enthusiastically with me about the region. The building is also really neat because it’s an old train station from the heyday of Saratoga Springs.

Spent the night on business in Saratoga Springs. What a surprise when in the morning I went for coffee. What a beautiful little town. Stopped by the visitor center looking for postcards. The woman behind the desk was Soo nice. She sent me to a little store named impressions. Everyone here is soo nice and kind. I am definitely coming back!

Just had the most delightful experience at the visitor's center. Plenty of informative materials about all tgat Saratoga has to offer. More than something for everyone. The woman tgat came from behind the desk asked such wise and wonderful questions and guided me as I learned about places, events and experiences that I can't wait to see, attend and try. Do stop in, you will learn about things you didn't know about the museums, shops, attractions and history of Saratoga!

It's a very nice and clean place to stop by to get info about the area. There is a 15-min video with highlights, though it could use an upgrade to higher definition. The staff was very friendly. It's a little tricky to find the small parking lot for visitor center: enter from a tiny driveway behind the visitor center right off Congress St, next to a USPS mailbox.

Nestled in the charming Saratoga Springs, the New York State Military Museum and Veterans Research Center is a treasure trove for history enthusiasts. Housed in a stunning armory built in 1889, this museum showcases an impressive collection of over 25,000 military artifacts that span from the Revolutionary War to contemporary conflicts.
This museum is perfect for history buffs and fans of seeing military guns/ equipment and uniforms. The museum is very well organized. They have different sections with each being a different time period and war that was being fought. The WW1 section was probably my favorite. It had an area where they made it look like you were in a trench. The information given was great and you’ll definitely leave learning something new.

Very cool experience. We weren't sure what to expect and decided to check it out and we're glad we did. The artifacts on display were very neat and it goes through the history of the wars the US we're apart of. If you're looking for something fun (free) in Saratoga definitely check it out.

The collection is outstanding! If you read all of the information, one could easily spend 2 hours here. The women's restroom could use a refresh and parking is at a premium.

This is one of my favorite museums in our area. I am passionate about our veterans and this museum is always paying tribute to them. Recently I was there and toured through the Vietnam War section with Garth LLoyd, a Vietnam vet himself. The staff is very helpful, the exhibits are periodically rotated, the exhibits cover many wars, highlights Saratoga, and this museum is free - I hope you go.

Incredible. I had really no expectations about this museum, and was blown away. Completely unexpected level of exhibits. And the best part. Free! I was happy to donate, but free to the public is a welcome surprise. Super personal exhibits That have retained the details, and humanity of the very people whom donated. Spent at least an hour and a half to see everything.

Skidmore College, located in the charming town of Saratoga Springs, offers a vibrant cultural scene with frequent performances and art exhibitions at the Tang Teaching Museum. The college's campus is within walking distance of Saratoga Springs, where visitors can explore the National Museum of Dance and enjoy recreational activities at Saratoga Spa State Park. The college also hosts plays, concerts, and events that are open to the community.
We went to Skidmore College for an inclusion for my daughter who is in the unified basketball team and those college kids gave the unified kids a visit they will never forget!!! Thank you Skidmore
Emily M — Google review
We drove around campus to take a look for our daughter. As we were there on a weekend, we were not able to take a tour. The campus looks lovely.
Kathryn K — Google review
Beautiful campus but far too controlling according to our niece who attended Skidmore. Didn't stop us from getting her a graduation brick.
Jim L — Google review
I liked Skidmore, BUT, my instincts were leading me to attend Hampshire College in Amherst, Massachusetts. So, in the end that's where I went. Hampshire was just more academically structured the way I preferred. Skidmore was too: "academically traditional" for me. Grades and Tests and very standardized in it's overall educational approach, BUT, I did love Skidmore's emphasis on creative thought. I needed "academically unconventional" + a creative emphasis. Skidmore was one or the other, Hampshire was both. Skidmore's campus and facilities though were FIRST-RATE! The Tang, The King-Bernhard Theater and Zankel Music Center were ALL AMAZING! 👍
Ben S — Google review
Absolutely gorgeous scenery, generally pleasant architecture with some decent student amenities.
GeneralFlagg15 — Google review
Don’t believe the biased college reports or rankings & Skidmore’s carefully crafted advertisements. This school is focused on collecting tuition, nothing else. What you read on their website is not what you get as a student. There is much to say about this school. To make it simple I will number each issue. 1) As someone who attends Skidmore, I firmly believe that administrative staff here are writing the overly glowing reviews that you see on the internet. The content of the reviews simply don’t line up with what happens on this campus and sound nothing like how a typical Skidmore student talks. Office staff are writing positive reviews for the college. That’s how desperate they have gotten to prove that Skidmore is decent. 2) Skidmore gets negative reviews taken down in attempt to control information flow. Anytime I see an accurate depiction of this college online, it mysteriously gets flagged for removal. This is done by Skidmore staff. They are attempting to control information released about the college. Why? Because if people knew what how concerning the environment at Skidmore is, if people knew what really went on, it would affect their reputation and most importantly their cash flow. Anyone who affects their money must be silenced. 3) This is not a college for first generation students. Skidmore puts on a facade to the public of being inclusive and affordable but this claim is far from reality. They do not offer full coverage of tuition for low income students the way other colleges do. We have to take out loans. They even charged us for laundry until recently, even though we kept telling administration that low income students, especially first generation cannot afford to keep putting more money into Skidmore’s machines. We pay enough for tuition as it is. 4) The professors. The professors are burnt out + utterly miserable. There is no compassion for students, no excitement for what they do, and getting support is like pulling teeth. The professors are the worst thing about Skidmore besides the poor financial aid offers. Most of the faculty is mean spirited. This is not an exaggeration in the slightest. Unfortunately this is a small school so you can’t escape it. 5) The grading system - don’t expect an A unless you are a favorite. Skidmore allows professors to continually assign subjective coursework which leaves you at the mercy of whether the professor likes you or not. Subjective coursework leaves room for serious ethical concerns. 6) The dorms are ancient, dark and depressing. Skidmore makes a lot of money, yet they don’t update the dorms. Shouldn’t they be investing some of that money back into us, the students? Where is the money being spent? 7) Severely small class selection. Anything good fills up fast so you’ll be stuck in multiple classes you don’t like each semester just because you must take enough credits. 8) Diversity - I’m so tired of seeing Skidmore take photos of the same groups of students in attempt to showcase what a “diverse” student population they have. They don’t! If you did, you wouldn’t need to try to prove it so hard with the same students. 9) Controlling environment. Skidmore treats us like middle schoolers. Don’t think about missing a class, even if you have a legitimate reason. Professors will deduct so many points from your overall grade where you can’t recover. Other colleges do not obsess over attendance whatsoever. Other Universities know that we are adults and we can choose to go to class or not. They don’t need to monitor us and our whereabouts. It’s insulting that Skidmore does this to us. We are adults. Not children.

Great school in a stunning setting within walking distance of Saratoga Springs. The Tang museum is great for modern art lovers ! The music concert hall rivals the best in NYC. We have attended plays, concerts, and many wonderful events ... the college is very, very welcoming to the community. My daughter loved the experience.

I was a student of Skidmore College. I had the best years of my life. Amazing people and amazing place. Everyone is really nice and friendly. Of course there are events that sometimes occur in downtown. However, such incidents are belittle compared to the strong community and good vive of the college.

Nestled at the entrance of Saratoga Spa State Park, the Lincoln Baths stands as a remarkable example of Federal-style architecture. This historic bathhouse, which opened its doors in 1930, was once among the largest in the world and boasts an impressive façade adorned with tall marble columns. The structure is crafted from stone, steel, terracotta, and concrete, giving it a commanding presence that reflects its rich history.
Beautiful historic building in Saratoga. Now used for the farmers market on Sundays in cooler weather. In its heyday, the baths were very busy, people from all over the world would come partake in the medicinal waters. I'm grateful this gorgeous architecture still stands.

I went to the indoor Farmers' Market and had a wonderful time. There was only 1 stand of fresh produce on the drizzly March day that I went, but there were several artists and craftspeople selling beautiful pieces. There was also plenty of food and drink stands. It was a great way to spend a Sunday morning. I definitely recommend it.

I went here for the farmers market. It was a very nice farmers market with lots of good products and nice people. The facility itself is nice and very easy to get to. It is located very close to downtown Saratoga which is a beautiful place to go any day

Awesome farmers market, great people, ended up finding a new dressing for our salads. People in general were very courteous and we had a great time when vacationing in the area.

Unfortunately, I went there to the new temporary Saratoga court for a seat belt violation. The DA was very fair and offered no fine, no points but with a minimal fee. I've never been to any court with a beautiful Judge. OMG, I'll never wear a seat belt again just to see that Judge again. Just joking but she really is beautiful.

Rare book store
Lyrical Ballad Bookstore is a beloved establishment in downtown Saratoga, having been around since 1971. Housed in a former bank, the store boasts over 100,000 books spread across eight rooms. It specializes in various genres such as architecture, fine arts, children's books, and thoroughbred racing-related literature. The bookstore offers an extensive collection of rare and hard-to-find titles and features vault doors that lead from room to room.
This bookstore is amazing, honestly. Sometimes you go into a used bookstore and immediately know you’re only going to find old paperback Daniel Steele novels for $0.50 with the corner of the cover torn off. This place, though, has treasure troves of niche books and forgotten tomes. I snagged myself a hardcover bound Harper’s Weekly periodical from the 1890’s and it was just a super cool find. It’s a bit disorganized but I think it adds to the charm.
Joseph C — Google review
I love used bookstores and this tied with my local used bookstore as the best one I've ever been to; the selection was incredible and it was so fun to wander through all the different rooms. The staff was really nice and the prices were great! I liked that browsing felt like a scavenger hunt, but everything was organized enough that if you were looking for a specific author, you could find them easily.
Elyssa S — Google review
We didn't spend too much time here, but I wish we had. The rooms seemed to never end, everything was sorted and categorized in fun and thoughtful ways. I feel like if it's been written down, you can probably find it here. Come get lost!
Michael G — Google review
This place really does go on and on! Loaded with great used books, records, playbills, sheet music, art prints, books ends, and more! We only had 30 minutes to rush through it but it was a treasure trove. Highly recommend stoping by when you are in Saratoga Springs!
Haley B — Google review
My FAVORITE bookstore -- Saratoga's best kept gem.<3 This bookstore is truly one of the most beautiful in the world. I've been going to this bookstore ever since I was young, and loved browsing the winding shelves and gawking at the old and rare books. This bookstore (which means so much to me) was kind enough to let me take both my wedding and engagement photos, and I couldn't be happier to have these photos that will last a lifetime. Thank you, Lyrical Ballad, for being my go-to spot in Saratoga and such a special place on my special day.
Dana D — Google review
A wonderful maze of books. Room after room of shelves to the ceiling, cases full of old or rare books, an entire bank vault of precious tomes. The smell is intoxicating. They have thousands organized alpha-by-author, genres, and age. They also have prints, vinyl, bookends, and a selection of bargain books. The proprietors are friendly and helpful, and like all good book stores, the patrons are eager to help too. I went for a short hour yesterday, and have blocked out another two today - and I'm sure I'll have barely scratched the surface. It's just off the main drag, on a cozy side street, according to the rules of great locations. Can't wait to go back!
Jesse C — Google review
A wonderful bookshop curated for used and rare books, a lot of which were still in great condition! Take note that there is no new selections in stock, however there's another incredible indie bookstore up the street if that's what you're in the market for. Lyrical Ballad has a huge selection of unique used books... I even saw a SIGNED first edition unedited copy of "The Name of the Wind" (if only I had an extra $775 to blow), and a great collection of prints, records, and old postcards to pick through. So glad we were in the area and stopped.
Steph M — Google review
Visited this book store while exploring Saratoga Springs and fell absolutely in love. The young woman at the front desk was a doll to speak with and even let me take photos with my camera - thank you so much! You can tell there is a lot of history that exists between the store's walls... and especially on them. Definitely recommend this gem to anyone who is looking for a book store experience that has a more local/small business vibe and not so corporate.

Val Thompson's patience and professionalism are highlighted by a client who appreciated her guidance through the process of finding their dream home without feeling pressured.
Valerie did a great job. We moved out of state several months prior to selling the house and Valerie was very helpful as our local eyes and ears. She checked on the house every now and then and helped us sell some of the extra furniture we no longer needed. When our buyers found a minor issue that needed to be remedied Valerie got us an estimate from a second contractor without us even asking. She has a positive demeanor and a can-do attitude and was a pleasure to work with from start to finish.
Patrick R — Google review
We learned about Roohan Realty and our realtor through a trusted colleague/friend. We worked with and would 100% recommend Valerie Thompson to anyone and everyone looking to purchase their dream home. The housing market in Saratoga county is very competitive and tough for first time homebuyers like my wife and I, but because of Val’s superior negotiation skills, we found and landed in our forever home! She always had our best interests at heart, which we feel also played a significant role in finding the perfect home for our family. She is so much fun to work with and makes a stressful process enjoyable. Thank you Val!

We recently sold our home through Roohan Realty in Saratoga Springs, NY. Val Thompson was our realtor and she was outstanding throughout the entire process from listing until the closing. Val Thompson was AMAZING to work with on the purchase of our first house. She was incredibly patient with us and knowledgeable. We always felt super comfortable and never forced or pressured to put an offer in on one of the many (and I mean many) houses that we looked at in our homebuying journey. We knew we were in good hands and when we finally found our home, she coached us through to the end. We're so happy we worked with Val and the Roohan team.
Brigid C — Google review
Val Thompson from Roohan Realty was incredible to work with while my fiance and I were looking for our new home. We must of looked at 10-15 homes over the course of a year and not once did Val try and push us in a direction we were not comfortable with. Because of her patience, we were able to just close on our dream home exactly where we want to be recently and realizing that the best house we looked at was the one we ended up buying shows how great it is to work with someone so professional and nice. I could not recommend Val more if you are looking for your first or third home.

Wow what a whirlwind! We had to sell our house in Saratoga Springs quickly because of a new job opportunity in another state. Valerie Thompson was recommended by a trusted friend. She was phenomenal! So kind, understanding, upbeat and personal. She gave us great advice and we had 4 offers after the first open house, which drove up the price. I highly, highly recommend Val as an agent for the sale of your home. We just loved her and will miss her now that we moved away! Thank you Val....you're the best😘

Price gouging BS. Do yourself a favor and go down the street. These prices are completely unreasonable. $18 for a 750 of svedka vodka is absolutely outrageous. You can get a 1.5 for that price at other stores.
