I walk down the river to view regularly then walk around the Mangrove forest looking for the Blue birds. Lucky if you see they are very shy of Farang

It is a small shrine by a river. The day we went there was a boat race so made it interesting. Bathrooms very clean. Did not have much time to walk the mangrove boardwalk.

Phra Chedi Klang Nam, also known as the Floating Pagoda, is a prominent landmark in Rayong, Thailand. It is a unique structure built on a small island in the middle of the Mae Nam (river) Rayong. It was a good visit to the pagoda , especially the nearby bridge walk where you will see a lot of mangrove trees surrounded by the Pagoda. If you reach there early morning or evening , you will really enjoy the walk , else at day time it was really hot. Don't forget to take water and a hat at day time.

You can walk on the long wooden bridge and also can do a boat tour with 500B for half an hour until to the end of the river. Along the river, enjoy mangrove forest and beautiful birds.

Nice place to relax. You can now also walk over footbridges along the river and the mangroves. With a bit of luck, you can also spot a few monitor lizards. It is a very beautiful place and exciting at the same time to experience the exotic animal world.

Nice long path way to stroll around. When I visited here, the water level was low and could see the bottom of the soil. There are may trees that give visitors some shade while walking. Nothing much beside walking along the trail. Wear sneakers than sandals as the gap between wooden pave making me trip so often🤣

This place used to be the main cimmercial community and the location of banks, cinemas, markets, until the country changed. Yomjinda Road in the old city of Rayong was simply a dissappointment. It was Monday midday when we visited there and many or even most of the shops were closed. Okay, it is not anymore the high season of tourism but, then, the historic notability of the road should be reflected at least some way - with or without tourists. The shrine, a Chinese temple, on the road was in my opinion the most interesting place on Yomjinda Road.

Perhaps this Temple's most notable feature is the small reclining buddha. There are several very large assembly halls here, and I was able to enter two of the buildings to see shrines. Several people received council and blessings from one of the monks.

Wat Pa Pradu is probably the most famous of Rayong's Buddhist temples, one of those must visit places in Rayong, locating in the centre of the city. The reclining Buddha of the temple is not very big but it is made very different style as more famous recliner buddhas. Wat Pa Pradu is of course worth of visit.

nice, compact temple grounds with 3 or 4 other statues for worship or photos. the main attraction is the 12 meter reclining Buddha. mostly noted for age and being a rare left side reclining figure. the main statue building has several other smaller statues. guard dragons, and buddha at the center entry pillar, an area at the feet of the reclining Buddha with 3 worship stones, small feet replica and several smaller statues grouped together. of photo note a good view of the length from the head can be take from the outside thru a window. there is a gift shop area outside along with some other worship options such as floating flower candles.

Old temple in the center of Rayong, which has several interesting buildings. Temple itself has been changed for tourism and people who come to pray, practicing and get blessed.

The only Wat in Thailand, where Buddha lay on the left side. Very nice Temple of a King Class A. went here about 5 or 6 Times already

Every time I come to Rayong, I always come to pay respects to the reclining Buddha at this temple for good fortune and good luck. I always have good things waiting for me every time I come to pay respects to the Buddha here.

Wat Pa Pradu was a lovely, respectful religious area of building complexes In the central part of Rayong proper. The temple was named after the Pradu trees that grow there. The main attraction that most tourist go to see is the reclining Buddha who reclines un-typically on his left arm instead of his right. (There are many other things to be done and learnt for those wishing to learn more including an informative tour.) The Buddha is covered in gold leaf which many locals rub with something and then make a donation. It seems a bit like making a donation and lighting a candle. The area is awash with religious respect. Shoes are always removed. There is a main road entrance into the temple (which we missed) but you can also approach it from the rear, like us, because we missed the main road which bisects the complex. Well worth the experience.

It was almost sad to visit Ko Kloi Floating Market, only two shops open, almost no people in. Even though the market would be in its busiest, compared to Pattaya Floating Market, Ko Kloi is not very interesting. As such, these floating markets are rather historic pastiche.

You will get the feeling of an old style market similar to the floating market in Ayutthaya. Lots of people are visiting during the weekends where many food stalls of many varieties including street foods, fruits, whole meal and even mookata (eat all u can) for all ages.. It's easy to find parking space since it's located inside PTT Gas station with adjacent free space across right wing and the Central Mall across the left side. Fresh air along nearby wooden walkways built over a manmade lake with some pedal boats to rent for strolling the water..

Ko Kloi Market offers a tranquil escape with its serene atmosphere, making it an ideal spot for relaxation, particularly in the afternoon. The market's choices are limited due to a sparse number of vendors and vacant stalls, resulting in lack of bustling activity. The fish swimming towards the visitors is an engaging experience. While not heavily visited, the market holds an appeal for those interested in its historical significance.

Certainly a place to visit if you're in Rayong ... not too much hustle and bustle, probably due to covid, but a pleasant outing. One can feed the fish and the birds, no entrance fee, and though limited, a good selection of food and souvenirs.

Not so crowded during weekday, but evening and weekend are full of people around. Many activities and things locally you may impress. ^ ^ Look forward to going back there again

This night market is totally different from the one i went in Bangkok! The food has much more variety and interesting stalls to try. The price are 20-50% cheaper than Bangkok too. Must go in Rayong!!

Amazing variety of food at such great prices. It’s somewhere where anyone can enjoy whether it’s fried chicken or fried crickets. Definitely worth a visit.

The market is located in central of province, if you come by car will difficult to find parking area. However, the food and items are variety with reasonable price. The only cons is when rain it will look a little bit not appreciated.

A good break (for me) from the confines of the hotel. An explosion of sounds and colours and smells greets you as you enter the night market, just after the guy at the entrance has your temp checked. There are dedicated rows of well laid-out stalls offering clothings, accessories, trinkets, footwear and, of course, food, drinks and fruits! Not so much of a unique experience, but being here will certainly immerse you into the Thai-ness of the environment.

Walking trail is fairly maintained. The view is good. The premises are kept clean. They have few places to park the car. There are no entrance fees.

I appreciate the fact that there are descriptions on which kind of animals roam around the habitat. Very underrated.. It was cool that we were alone but at the same time, I wish people would get to discover and enjoy such nature.

The mangrove boat tour was amazing. You could see the centuries-old mangrove trees in the area. It's amazing how the country is able to profit a lot from its mangrove forests while ensuring their protection. The staff was also very hospitable. I just wish they know more English to interact more with foreign tourists.

Beyond expectation! Very convenient... It's in Rayong city center! Many big trees and the pathway is very good, easy to walk even for the elders, well maintained. Lots of crabs to see (no fish though.) The watch tower is very good. You get a good view along the Rayong river and the ocean.

Never knew about this beach (have been living in Thailand for quite a while). We stopped off to have a look and get a coffee while on the way back from Chanthaburi, but liked it so much that we ended up staying a night. A good option for a couple of nights away if you live in Bkk.

It's one of the most beautiful areas near Bangkok. Not too many tourists, affordable hotels, and a very well-maintained beach.

It’s a beach on no tickets. It’s one hour from Pattya city and it’s water looks bit clear. There was not much crowed and it’s peaceful, relax environment while one can enjoy swim down but day was not for surfing but it could be best place to add some volleyball net sports activity.

I loved this place. Street food carts and funky food vans. Plenty of seating and tables to enjoy your food on the beach and lots of trees for shade. On the other side you can see the colourful fishing boats on the river.

The shopping center itself is big. However, they sell pets like shown in pictures. Please do not support this type of puppy mills, the dogs do not go for walks, they have very limited space. The puppies cannot play with each other, they just stay in their piss-filled crates. The dogs are not energetic (as they should be - they are puppies!). Please do not visit the mall nor buy any puppies/support Pet Safari in any way.

A great mall to visit if you’re in the area. It’s clean, modern, and easy to walk around. There are lots of shops, restaurants, and a cinema—perfect for shopping, dining, or catching a movie 🎥🛍️🍽️. As a shopping Centre, Central Plaza has a lot to offer. My wife and I purposefully spent 5 hours there to fully comprehend the place. One of the things we really liked is that in the whole 5 hours we only saw two other people who could have been construed of as European decent. This means this shopping centre was made for the Thai people and not tourist and the Thai people definitely use it. The centre had a ground floor and two floors above. It was spacious and intuitively arranged. It included all the stores you might expect and many many more. There were many eating places especially on the top floor where there is a cinema playing first release films. Next to the cinema there is a huge childrens’ games area, mini golf and go cart track to name a couple of things. On the ground floor there is a food court which includes what is referred to as a Food Park. The Food Park has their own card currency which you need to purchase before you can buy food. They don’t accept cash. The floors and walkways are spacious, clean and very modern. There are lots of lights, giant LED screens and an abundance of very polite and ever helpful staff. Well worth a day of investigation.

This shopping mall is very easy to navigate and well-designed. The layout is spacious and comfortable to walk through, making it a pleasant shopping experience. There’s an excellent variety of restaurants and food options to choose from. The mall also has a great selection of shops selling various items and products - the variety is comparable to what you’d find in Bangkok, which is impressive for a mall outside the capital. Overall, it’s a convenient and well-stocked shopping destination with everything you need in one place. Highly recommended for both shopping and dining!

Clean and well run Central plaza mall. Good toilets and parking with good food options and shopping avaliable. Relatively new and right on the main road it is a convenient place to stay during the heat of the day.

This is a cool place to visit in Rayong. Lots of fish and underwater creatures on display. For 30 baht only, it’s fantastic. However I think they could increase the price and just maintain the place a bit better. But still for 30 baht you see quite a lot!

Beautiful small aquarium with lots of cool fish, jellyfish and sharks. Perfect for kids and adults! Great for a quick afternoon stop.

Second visit, good value cat just 30 baht entry fee for adults. Highlight is the perspex tunnel taking you through and below the huge saltwater tank displaying a variety of large sea fish. Further along sea turtles can be viewed from both underwater or from above outdoors. Interesting static displays about sea fishing and conservation, plus many smaller tanks containing sealife. We arrived on a Saturday morning for 10am opening there were already many people waiting but entry was fast and peopldxsoon love along through the exhibits. Recommended.

Small local aquarium with dedicated sea turtle pool at the entrance. This is a unique aquarium in its own right due to most exhibits being commercial fishery stocks except the turtle pool. Giant garoupa tank is cool to stroll down the tunnel. Super cheap fee at ฿30/ adult, a mere ฿10/child.

Its a nice restaurant, ordered a pizza but it was disappointing. Cant speak for other food but pizzas is not their speciality.

Ordered Sea Bass fillet and it came out under cooked and raw on the inside. My wife ordered a Thai soup and the tofu was off and had a bed smell. Couldn't eat it. Overall, a completely terrible experience. 5 years ago this was a premier restaurant but has now become one of the worst. Try somewhere else

I recently visited a rooftop restaurant and bar just outside of Bangkok, and the experience was truly unforgettable. I ordered penna carbonara salmon and sear salmon fillet. They are amazing. Penne and salmon are excellent,Not overcooked like many restaurant in Thailand.But they are perfect cooking. Flavorful sauce as well. I got welcome drinks from the hotel as member. The wine is good quality. The service not everyone perfect but there are a few who have a service mind that help me manage some problems of my coupons and my mobile phone. They have both indoor and ourdoor seat but the outdoor which are rooftop bar and smoking area.The bartender is welcomed and helpful. So I love to recommend this restaurant and I will come back here again.

Fantastic view (best in town). The food is good. But...drinks are overpriced (even considering the view) and staff is extremely slow and inattentive. I walked out waiting for my drinks (on a slow day). I will return to the hotel during my next visit but I will avoid the roof top

First, the sunset view is terrific! If you stay the Ao Prao Resort or Le Vimarn, please come here to have a good taste dinner. Then the service is also good, staffs here are great and helpful. Do recommend here and Thai food is authentically good.

Great escape, food was tasty with reasonable price. Ambience was brilliant! We were surrounded by lush tropical forest from the moment we stepped inside the garden. Must visit there again if we travel to Rayong 🍀

It's a bit more expensive than several other places I've been to, but the quality is very good. I had one of my favourite dishes, steamed seabass with lime & chilli. They have their own holding tanks for some of their seafood. It's a large restaurant with plenty of seating and views behind onto the waterway where there are many fishing boats.

A nice Thai restaurant by the sea in Rayong. The seafood is fresh and tasty, and the outdoor setting under the stars is relaxing. The staff is friendly and helpful. A great place to enjoy a chill meal by the water. PS. That seafood sauce is awesome.

Great seafood restaurant, the original branch of Laem Charoen Seafood. The signature dish is Deep fried Sea bass with fish sauce. They use fresh seafood, their food is really good taste. The price is high, but it is in accordance with the quality of the ingredients.

I like dining by the riverside under the lights. There is also a small playground to entertain the children and the beach over the road to play in the sand. Traditional seafood menu, very affordable prices, everything is fresh caught and cooked. Wide open space, tables and chairs were not crammed into squashed areas. Good lighting, choice of dining with or without a roof.

Resort is really nice like a botanical garden but needs renovation of pool, tiles are cracked , missing some,can easily cut your foot toes or hands. Water not clean. bungalow nice and clean, only TV is the size of my laptop. Breakfast is crap. Plastic sausages and fake white bread. better go to 7 -11 next door.

The bungalows are spacious and authentic, the location is excellent, and the staff were incredibly nice and helpful. During one evening at the restaurant, I savored the delicious pizzas with a thin, crunchy crust. I highly recommend trying the pizza with truffles or the pepperoni; both options were absolutely delightful. Overall, it's a fantastic place, and I plan to return for the outstanding service and delicious pizzas!

Only went here for dinner. The pizzas are great, in particular the Margherita was really tasty! The night we went they had a karaoke style singer singing along with classics, it made the atmosphere quite wonderful. Oh, and the spinach pizza was also great.

We did not stay at the hotel. We had dinner at the pizzeria and restaurant. Food was ok and the atmosphere very friendly. There was live music and the staff were friendly. They seem to have many foreigner customers but I’m sure it will be an equal mix with locals during the weekend and long holidays. Theres plenty of parking. No corkage fee if you bring your own wine. No airconditioning, the restaurant is open air.

The resort is really old and some equipments are broken. Otherwise, it's great. Wifi is strong throughout the resort. Pizza is good. No extra towels and pillows. Lots and lots of mosquitoes. The power outlets are old-style with no ground wire. But it's OK in comparison to the price. You get what you pay for.

Great Bali-style bungalows with nice balcony's too hang out on. Friendly and helpful staff. Also, the restaurant attached has great pizzas and cocktails too. Convenient location opposite the beach and close to other bars and restaurants.

Quiet but good pizza although slightly under seasoned. Friendly staff. Drinks were a little weak for the price - specifically the long island iced tea for 250 baht. No doubt as tourists return the atmosphere will improve. Good luck to them.

Restaurant: Food is fresh and good quality. Today I had a hamburger. It's my opinion it shall improve taste. Price for Thai food is more expensive than other restaurants in the area. Dely: fantastic with big variety of food and wines. I was searching for cod fish.....and they have good Norway cod.

Great pyttipanna and Skagen Toast. Always great to get an Scandinavian taste time to time. Also very nice shop to buy Scandinavian food.

Beautiful place with good food. Place offers you various kind of western and thai food. They have vegetarian pizza aswell. This place hits the bullseye with quantity and quality at the same time.

I have ordered the Sunday special... Pork knuckle with patatoes, 2 types of mustard and sauerkraut. Unfortunately both the patatoes and the pork knuckle were uncooked... I totally understand that this is an European dish but is bloody easy to do it... I'll give it another go... probably the chef was in a hurry with 3 customers all together ;)

Perfect sweet and sour vegetables with seafood. Many shrimps, squid and pineapple. Pad thai very good too. Air conditioning. There is also a deli shop. Be careful on Buddha day no alcohol sold.

The food was just okay. The fish was fresh, but the shrimp weren’t good. The restroom really needs improvement.

An ok seafood restaurant The cockles were too well done, no sweetness. And it’s hard to crack shells open. Soft crab was good with strong taste of black peppers. Kang Som was a bit too sweet.

Delicious seafood in a beach front setting. Highly recommend deep fried grouper in sweet and sour chilli sauce, or cook two ways. Absolutely delicious!!!

Good seafood on the beach. Prices are average. Seafood is fresh. Service is quick and responsive. Parking just across the street. You pay 20 baht and the restaurant will reimburse.

Airport has a lot of potential granted how close it is to Pattaya and Rayong but just a couple of flights per day if that and no real amenities. Granted such low traffic I am surprised to see so many staff, never think I've seen everyone's bag be thoroughly searched after x ray but I guess it's better than them standing around. Hopefully more flights fly out of here, meaning business or food vendors may open.

The staff is very untrained and they have no idea about s7 rules in other airports (example: BKK). They urgerd everybody use the calibrator even if their fares included free luggage. Even tho, they confused everyone with line queues 2 times, people started to get angry. It's 2 am in a vacation city, people go home to work tomorrow after week being on a beach. Can you please be more soft with rules like other airports?

A very nice and clean..small airport located away from the city. You have to take a cab from and to the main city from this airport. There is a 7-11 store right across the main departure building. Also there are few small shops outside the departure building to eat before you fly. Easy check-in process. Strict checking. Even drinking water not allowed

Quiet airport. Flight to Phuket. Best to check your bag or they will have you measure it before boarding. Also best to have a paper ticket...otherwise they want to see the pdf of e-ticket.

The worst airport ever! Their luggage scale is rigged, it shows overweight so that they can charge you. Had connecting flight after and my luggage weight was ok. Also they take away power banks, they noted some nonsense power banks limitations ! No food places at the terminal. Terrible!

Quite possibly the most commercially dead airport I have been to in some time. Which is strange considering this is such a popular destination for tourists from all over the world and there are direct flights coming in here from as far away as Russia and Korea. 99% of shops seem to be closed permanently. And there was only one small sandwich place and one duty-free store open when I was there. On the other hand, the check-in process as well as the immigration and security checks were very efficient. Maybe because they only have one or two planes departing /arriving at any one time.

No water machine beyond security, no food options other than crisps and coffee. Otherwise spacious and not busy when I visited. Friendly and fast immigration and security
