Not long neither difficult climb through oak forest will take you to the top of the hill "Zobor" above city of Nitra. Beautiful views in every direction. From the top you can do hikes according to your fitness. When weather is favorable there is plenty of tourists everywhere.

The facilities were fine. My problem was with buying tickets online. I bought a 4 day ticket for the YGAMES event/autoshow online for 19€. The first day I went, the machine would not accept the QR code on the ticket I was emailed. Luckily, one of the workers saw my troubles and let me in. On the next day, I did not get the same treatment, and had to buy a day ticket for 8€. I was not able to explain the situation to someone as I dont speak Slovak and the workers didnt speak anything I speak. On the third day, I again had to buy another day ticket for 8€. The event itself was actually great, but WHY does the ticket website sell tickets that DONT WORK? I spent 19€ for something that should've lasted the whole weekend, but had to spend an additional 16€ because it never even worked to begin with.

Not a very nice exhibition center. The parking is not automated (ramp, ticketing, licence plate camera, parking machine) but is very slow on gate B2 done by humans. Parking lot B2 has no lines so it is very ineffective. The exhibition halls are old with main electrical switch accessible for any random visitor.

There was a problem with the navigation in google maps initially, we then had to switch to waze in order to find the enterance. After we have arrived there was no problem with parking alongside the road. We were on a musical performance, all awesome.

The ingredients were incredibly fresh, the dough was perfect, and every bite was delicious. On top of the phenomenal food, the service was exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive, making the entire experience even better. For the incredible quality you receive, the price is surprisingly reasonable. This is not just a meal, it's a perfect dining experience. I cannot recommend Boccaccio enough. A must-visit!

The burger was super juicy and delicious, the buns were too soft for us. Both fries and dips were great too. The lemonade's taste was as strong as we hoped. Good is great, prices are normal. Not very expensive not very cheap. What is frustrating is the bad service, they don't seem to care, during summer they don't use any mosquito repelanants to sit outside, you can see spiders and spiderwebs and other alike crawling on the wooden structure.. it's really a shame. I'd have this place on top condition to attract foreigners and not only locals.

We had just pizza and cake on the end, all done well, no complain at all. Pizza with crispy garlic edge, that's what i like.Only issue experienced is the price, for Slovakia more than u would expect. Quite pricey if u consider that for same price i can get same in Stuttgart, and thus solely 4 stars.

Awesome experience . This restaurant has varied menu which can serve both meat eaters and vegans . Food quality and tarar was excellent. Recommended for fine dine-in in Nitra.

I've been a regular at this restaurant for many years now and I can tell you that this is for sure some of the best Italian food you will get in Slovakia and it's neighboring countries. The Pizzas are the highlight for me (especially prosciutto crudo and quatrro formaggi) but the risottos are very tasty too and they also offer a wide selection of wine!

Reštaurácia je posadená do vkusne naaranžovanej zelene, čím posedenie na terase dostáva romantický a pokojný rozmer. Radi sa sem opäť vrátime! --- Boli sme tu opäť, tentokrát mi tak nechutilo... Vývar skvelý ako vždy, takisto dezert (fantastický lávový koláčik ako aj tiramisu s amarettom, ktoré sme si dali už minule). I came in and there were only 2 people there. Asked for a table and was pointed to one. The waitress ( who never smiled ) gave the menu and walked away. When she came to take the order ( again no smile ), I asked her about one of the items on the menu, I.e portion size ( as I was in a another restaurant the previous day and the portions were very generous ). She said small ( in English ). Anyways I ordered the chicken udon , which was sweet and definitely in my worst udon ever eaten list. She cleared my plate , again no smile or even a pleasant expression . No one bothered to ask if I wanted a desert or coffee or at least bring the menu for desert . At this time , I was the only person in the front portion of the restaurant . After a while I went up to the counter to pay - and was asked ‘card’? I then told her that it was very bad service and she said ‘no English’! I have travelled the world without knowing the local language and have managed with a smile or a nod or some sign language. Served a cold meal (bowl with rice and duck meat). Staff tried to convince me that this is because some ingridients were cold and that is the reason. But why not heat up the rice and meat properly so the whole meal can we at least warm, not barely warm. Dissapointed

I had a very good variation of vegetarian Gyoza and the Beef Udon. It was very tasty. The waitress had small problems of understanding english, but we could communicate otherwise.

We come here once a year, for tasty sushi and delicious soups. We are not from Nitra, but it´s worth the trip.

Excellent Dining Experience with a View! I had an absolutely wonderful dinner here with a group of colleagues recently, and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The location is truly beautiful, right next to Nitra Castle, which adds a fantastic ambiance to the whole experience. The menu, while not extensive, clearly focuses on quality over quantity. Each dish we tried was well-prepared and demonstrated a clear dedication to good food. A particular highlight for me was the tartare – it was truly excellent! Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I'd highly recommend it for anyone looking for delicious food in a stunning setting near Nitra Castle.

A lovely Cafe positioned under the Nitra castle. They serve food, drinks, deserts. Great views of Nitra city A lovely place, good music & nice lighting. Pleasant service, very helpful. Recommend you call to reserve your table, esp in winter months. There’s outdoor seating in the summer. Visited again in Feb 2024. Still great atmosphere.

Ideal place for lunch, coffe, date...whatever :) High level meals but soup "Boršč" with crispy bread & adds - jalapenio (be carefull ;)) & olive oil are INCREDIBLE... Very nice place based near castle with awesome panorama. Service is professional and restaurant look's clean and tidy. Must visit in Nitra !

The appetizer was great, soup was good, as was the main dish but I think the cook spilled a little too much of something in there, it wasn't quite right. But for the great location and view and the quality of food, the prices were surprisingly fair.

I had a Really good time here in the restaurant. It looks like a Cafè but the main dishes are amazing. The tomato soup not as good as I thought, but the mec sapači amazing. Depending on the year season, the sun on the terrace lasts till 15:25(October/winter) or 18:30 on summer. Very friendly staff. Toilets really clean and some books for children enjoy. Food was amazing, we had some typical Italian dishes. The service was fast and the waiters were pleasant. Amazing for lovers of Italian food. You have to count with higher prices, but the experience is worth it.

I would not recommend eating pizza here. Dough is not fermented and thin as a sheet of paper, borders are thin as well. All the topping is at the center of the pizza so you have to use the fork with a dull knife. Change your pizzayolo, guys. Bad pizza experience for 10 euros. I would give for it 5 euros instead Waiter mumbles a lot so unable to understand what he says. However, deserts are not bad even though they are fatty.

Small , efficient and clean . It's easy to get to the airport by taking the bus in whatever location you are in the city . You can pay with your card on the bus or by using cash and you'll get to the airport.

I have never seen so stupid organization at airport before. There are plenty of seats available, but there is no one to open them for the people. Meanwhile a handicapped man did dot have a seat to use!!! I have spoken with the people from the airport shop, but they said this is normal and the additional area is open to passengers right before flight! So stupid - why they have places which cannot be used?

Good and quick taxi ride from the city. The airport is very small but efficient. Security normally super smooth with new scanners — no need to take out liquids or electronics. A couple of bars/coffee places and some duty-free shops inside. There’s also a smoking area after passport control if you’re flying outside the Schengen area. Small play area for kids there too and news kiosk. Nice and easy overall.

It's small but it's good. A few years ago there was a big reconstruction and it helped a lot. Without that is the biggest airport in Slovakia just a sad place. Fortunately, now it looks decent according to the amount of daily departures or arrivals. So be humble and don't compare it with the airport of Doha 😁

Small airport that has all the basics. Staff is nice. I wouldn't recommend it on busy season as it probably can't handle that many people, but overall is easy to get there.
