One of the best, Platinum Marina port of the world… stunning views! Great restaurants, nice people, picturesque views and amazing atmosphere overall, I definitely will come back to Tivat one day Sunsets and sunrises are spectacular

Porto Montenegro is one of the most beautiful places in all of Montenegro. It’s perfect for a relaxing walk, whether you’re with family, kids, or a loved one. The area is full of great restaurants, cafes, and bars — there’s something for everyone. The atmosphere is elegant yet relaxed, with stunning views of the marina and mountains. A wonderful place to spend the day or evening — highly recommended!

Beautiful modern port with shops, cafes, restaurants and grocery market. The entire port is easily accessible by walking, with multiple small venues to check out, good coffee and a range of restaurants. The port also has top luxury stores throughout its area. Check it out if you’re around the area.
Adam S — Google review
Porto Montenegro is the ultimate luxury marina experience in Tivat—world-class berths, stylish shops, gourmet dining, and cultural attractions set along a stunning waterfront. Ideal for yachting enthusiasts or anyone seeking a high-end seaside escape. A true Adriatic gem!
Violina P — Google review
It's an OK place, very modern with lots of boats. Some expensive restaurants and shops. Not really any history or culture, just a place to play for rich people. There are much nicer places to visit in Montenegro and in the Kotor area.
Tim H — Google review
We’ve been based in Port Montenegro for four years now, and it just keeps getting better. The infrastructure is constantly evolving in the best possible way — everything is modern, well-maintained, and thoughtfully designed. The entire marina is surrounded by lush greenery, which gives it a very relaxed and luxurious feel. The promenade is absolutely stunning, perfect for evening strolls or morning coffee with a view. There are also some truly fantastic cafés and restaurants — stylish, with great service and high-quality food. It’s a pleasure to be here year after year.
Iryna D — Google review
Beautiful place! Totally different vibe from the old Kotor or Budva cities. Great for having a dinner in one of the fine dining restaurants nearby or just for a walk. A lot of yachts, good looking people, places to sit down and enjoy the views. Very clean and modern place. Not that big, you can see all of it in 30 minutes. Also there are lots of luxury brand shops and delicious cafes (recommend the Kafeterija for coffee)
Anna — Google review
Very nice and upmarket marina. Carparking was good with plenty of spaces. Can see this becoming a bit of a go to place over the next few years once established. Road in and out is a bit of pain. To be fair the whole of Montenegro is quite difficult to get around in peak season as there's usually only one by bypass which connects everything and it does get rather busy.

Bay of Kotor

Mentioned on

Bay
Nature & Parks
Bodies of Water
The Bay of Kotor, often likened to a fjord, is a stunning natural wonder surrounded by rugged cliffs and charming towns. The historic town of Kotor, nestled within the bay, boasts well-preserved Baroque architecture and holds UNESCO World Heritage status. Perast, strategically positioned at the bay's entrance, was once a vital maritime center and is home to the Church of Our Lady of the Rocks on an artificial island.
One of the most beautiful places I’ve ever seen!!!! You have to visit and just drive round and enjoy the scenery!
Vanessa M — Google review
Went on a solo trip and booked an excursion to see the island in its entirety. Stopped at Bay of Kotor, and this place is beautiful. This is a must do as tourists from cruise ships and normal holiday makers swamped this stunning Bay. Restaurants and souvenir shops were abundant, and it was nice to pass the time in this amazing place.
Debakins2 — Google review
Great place, stunning views. A must go if in Montenegro. Loads of boat tours to choose from! Visited the Church Our Lady of the Rocks, the Blue Cave, and the Ex-submarine base.
Benjamin M — Google review
It doesn't really surprise me that the Bay of Kotor is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. Although very touristy, the bay is definitely worth a visit. The towns and villages around the bay, especially Herceg Novi, Tivat, Perast and Kotor, have many beautiful sights to offer, and of course a boat trip across the bay should not be missing from the to-do list. The views of the bay and the surrounding mountains are especially beautiful from the water. In short, the Bay of Kotor has a lot to offer the visitor!
Koen — Google review
Absolutely stunning! 👍 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 The most beautiful coastal area in the whole world! There is no place that could be compared to it! Magical, welcoming, beautiful, amazing ~ and one and only: Boka-Kotor Bay & beautiful towns just on its coast! My happy place under the Sun and stars! I am here at home. ❤️❤️❤️
B. M — Google review
This bay is awesome. We had a speedboat cruise and it was great. The view of the bay from the mountains is amazing. You have to see the bay from different places.
Hubert — Google review
The site belongs to the UNESCO list and one can right away see why. Very close to Dubrovnik, it offers stunning views and is a bit less over touristic, though still very touristic. Views from up the hill are worse the quite demanding hike... or you can take a car or bike up the serpentine.
Pascal M — Google review
For ones who miss the sun, the sea and the majestic mountains... a super city of freshness... both natural and historical buildings, definitely worth a visit

Naval Heritage Collection Museum

Mentioned on

Museum
History Museums
Located on the site of the renowned Porto Montenegro complex, the Naval Heritage Collection Museum is a must-visit for history enthusiasts. It is situated at the former Arsenal naval base, which was one of the largest bases on the Adriatic coast. The museum boasts around 300 exhibits, including a restored Yugoslav submarine. Visitors can explore historic boats, naval guns, engines, documents, uniforms and more.
Museum was shut at time of visit, although able to view submarines and a few boats etc located outside for free. Looked like they were doing work on indoor museum area. The subs are cold war era about 1970's ish. I believe from Yugoslav navy. When you walk up close realise how big these things are. The museum is a short walk from tivat marina, itself a couple miles walk, from where kemenari ferry docks .
Steve D — Google review
A lovely museum that really helped us to understand the history of the local area. The submarine is definitely something you wouldn't want to miss, but it was a shame that the museum itself didn't have as many visitors as the local history is fascinating and adds context to the submarine just outside. The audio guide was great at providing information however it would have been nice to have some seating available as we had to stand while listening to several minutes of audio.
Harmony S — Google review
It’s an open museum, but it lacks some informational boards for context. Entry to the submarines is charged, and unfortunately, they are often closed, as was the case during our visit. The site features two submarines – one large and one small. The large submarine is in good condition, and you can explore its interior, which showcases all the features.
Aleksandar D — Google review
I'd give this place 5 star review over the submarines alone. While there are other items to see here, the big P-821 "Heroj" class boat is a centerpiece worth stopping by. Luckily for all the naval entusiasts, instead of being scrapped after the end of its service life, it ended here at the Naval Heritage Collection. The boat is pretty much in its original working condition, and you can take a good look at all the machinery and hardware inside. There is a guide onboard so you can seek all the info you might be interested in. Please do mind your head when inside. Right outside, there's another much smaller P-912 "Una" class boat, where you can climb to the conning tower - as far as I know, you can't go inside that one. If you get the full ticket, you can also visit the museum part of the collection, but other then a few scale models, and a few interesting submersible vehicles, there's not much else to see there. The same goes for the few pieces around the two submarines.
Nenad A — Google review
Great experience to see the submarine from inside. If it’s close please go to the museum in-front of it and they will arrange to open it. The lady from the Museum knew a lot of details on the submarine and shared it with us and was very kind and professional. There was air conditioning inside so although it was a hot day it was cold and nice inside
Hila J — Google review
Really unique attraction offering an insight to life below the waves. The museum has a few nautical items and art gallery. Star is the submarine with guided tour.
William L — Google review
You can look for free from outside at the submarine exhibits , if you want to go inside need to pay 7€
Sharon M — Google review
The museum was closed when we went on a Friday afternoon (sign did say it should be open). The Submarine was also closed initially but when we walked back a couple of hours later we could go in. It was €15 for 2 adults and 2 children which was paid as cash only to the guide. We were given a short talk then able to look around on our own.

Plavi Horizonti Plaža

Mentioned on
4 lists
Beach
Outdoor Activities
Plavi Horizonti Plaža, also known as Plavi Horizonti Beach, is a hidden gem nestled on Montenegro's Adriatic coast. Located on the Lustica Peninsula, it offers a natural setting with fragrant pines, palms, and olive trees. The beach is perfect for swimming and sunbathing, with extensive shallows and gentle tides ideal for young swimmers to develop their aquatic skills.
This is a peaceful, family-friendly beach with a clean sandy shore and crystal-clear sea. The water is very shallow — even after swimming 15–20 meters out, it still remains shallow, making it especially safe for children. If you’re staying near Tivat, I definitely recommend visiting. However, if you’re based in Budva, due to ongoing roadworks the trip can take up to two hours in the morning or on weekends — in that case, I wouldn’t suggest it. The beach is divided into paid and free sections. Parking costs €5, but the spots closest to the beach are limited — the earlier you arrive, the easier it is to find a good one. Sunbed prices range from €15 to €25 depending on how close you are to the water. Nearby, there’s a kiosk serving drinks and ice cream, as well as another one offering drinks, pizza, hamburgers, and crepes. It can get quite crowded, so expect to wait in line for burgers and pizzas. There’s also a buffet-style self-service restaurant where you don’t need to queue, and the food is tasty. Still, I’d recommend bringing along some snacks of your own. There is tree-covered pathway through the tips of the beach where there interesting rock formation and wide-angle view of the beach. With its soft sand, shallow safe waters, and relaxing atmosphere, this beach is a great place to unwind and enjoy the sea.
Cem B — Google review
The beach is beautiful; there's both a public and a paid section. Two sun loungers and an umbrella cost 25 euros. There's a restaurant and a buffet. I'm including the restaurant menu in the photos. The buffet offers hamburgers for 5 euros, and they make them delicious. They also offer pizza and crepes. The sea is completely sandy and never gets deep.
Nurşah Y — Google review
Very clean water and a comfortable atmosphere on the beach, you can take Branch there and coffee starts from 9pm. The inner parking costs 5 euro per day, open from 7am. The umbrella with sunbeads costs 25 euro on the beach close to the sea area, first line , 20 euro under the trees , second line from the water.
Inesa N — Google review
Beautiful beach with clear water. The sand is very nice to walk on. The water is really shallow for a long time, its good for kids. It has a huge parking lot, it costs 5€ for the whole day and its not far from the beach. There is plenty of space to put your towel down or you can use the sunbeads ,they cost 25€. The food and drinks are cheap and close to the beach.
Tatar A — Google review
The beach was nice overall, but prices felt a bit touristic. Parking cost €5, sunbeds were €25, and a pizza was €18. The pizza itself was decent, maybe a 3/5, nothing too memorable. The sunbeds were comfortable, and the area was clean and well maintained, but considering the cost, I expected a little more value. Still, it’s a relaxing spot if you don’t mind paying extra.
Jad C — Google review
The sea was very clean. You can find much more beautiful private areas than the wooded area to the right of the beach.
Ugur K — Google review
Plavi Horizonti Beach is one of the most popular sandy beaches on the Luštica peninsula, loved for its wide bay, crystal-clear shallow water, and fine soft sand. Surrounded by pine and olive trees, it offers both natural shade and a relaxing Mediterranean atmosphere. The beach is well-suited for families with children thanks to its safe swimming area and gentle entrance into the sea. Visitors also appreciate the nearby cafés and restaurants, making it convenient for spending the whole day by the water. With its combination of natural beauty, cleanliness, and calm surroundings, Plavi Horizonti is a true gem for anyone seeking a perfect summer escape in Montenegro.
Mandala R — Google review
Very big beach, and very busy. The sun beds would be a lot more popular if they were a bit cheaper (they take up most of the beach!). The water was lovely though and it was nice being on a sandy beach! We found quiet spots despite it being busy so we still had a nice time. Didn’t love the house music blasting from the restaurant, and the food options aren’t amazing/pretty limited. More worth your money bringing a sandwich for sure! (Costed us €30 for some fries, oven cooked from frozen nuggets, and Greek salad - eek) If you prefer a more secluded beach without lots of kids around, this one won’t be your sort of thing. Otherwise it’s lovely and very family friendly.

Vrmac

Mentioned on
4 lists
Mountain peak
Vrmac, a verdant peak in Tivat, offers picturesque views of the bay and beyond. The area is known for its hiking trails, ruins, and lush flora. Strategically positioned in a well-protected area, it serves as an ideal starting point for exploring other destinations. Vrmac Ridge, just 10 minutes from Kotor or Tivat by car, features walking and mountain biking trails of varying difficulty levels.
If you are staying in the Kotor bay more than a weekend do not miss this fantastic panorama trail from the Austro-Hungarian Fort Vrmac to Sveti Ilija peak. It has gorgeous views on both the Kotor bay and the Tivat side and the Tivat airport. You can drive up to the Fort Vrmac (only experienced drivers!!!) and park your car there. (Or if you have a real 4x4 you can drive up to the peak but be prepared for real off-road conditions and narrow road only for one car. So it is impossible to give way for kilometers) You can visit the Fort but it is left completely abandoned for be prepared for dirt and ‘mines’. If you want to go inside you need lamps. The walk is roughly 4.5 kilometers but it is absolutely worth it. You will need good boots or at least good running shoes for rough terrain. If you are unfit, overweight or not in a good health condition think twice. The trail is not difficult but not the easiest either. First you have a nice walk in the pine forest but later it is getting ascending to the peak and the road quality will get worse made of bigger crushed stones and rocks.
Labodics J — Google review
Vrmac mountain is the most amazing panoramas of Boka Bay. On the one side you can enjoy the view of Kotor, from the highest peak of Vrmac - St Ilija (785 m) and on the other side, is the view of Tivat and airport.
Toni P — Google review
First of all, this Maps landmark is not the real peak—the real peak is about an extra hour away. I'm a moderately experienced hiker from an alpine country and a climber, yet I managed to top the hill only in my third try. Summertime is the worst as the foot trails are completely unmaintained. If you manage to reach the top, you ought to have met snakes, spiders, boars, wild cows, wild cats, jackals and possibly the rest. Vrmac natural park is a zoo with all these species strongly represented. Mind you, I'm convinced everything, including plants and rocks, is there to get ahold of you and kill you. The snakes are venomous viper snakes and according to locals, cows are routinely found dead on the plateau. If you flinch and squirm already when the first huge spider lands its strong net straight on your face, I suggest you turn around immediately and maybe take a different, more populated route as otherwise this safari should shortly become much more challenging for you. "The stick method" only gets you so far, and it doesn't shield you from adversities behind. It is imperative that any ventures here be led by experienced, mature, and sober adults, and that the trip be started early in the day to accommodate potential unforeseen events. I also recommend against taking any shrooms on this trip—you'll easily be overwhelmed by the experience alone!
K — Google review
The best place to spend time with nature among the pines at the beginning of the road and then among the juniper bushes and sturdy Austrian-Hungarian roads (more than 100 years old though still in a pretty good shape) :) Ah, and of course better to visit in winter or spring before the tourists arrived for more comfortable conditions at the mountain!

Big Ben

Restaurant
Big Ben is a casual restaurant and bar located near the clock tower in Tivat, just north of Porto Montenegro. It offers a relaxed atmosphere where you can enjoy beer and pizza. The restaurant also features Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine, providing a unique dining experience. With fast and polite service, it's a great choice for those looking to relax over a meal in Tivat.
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The seafood was fresh and full of flavor-easily some of the best I've had in a while. The dessert was also a highlight, perfectly balanced and a great way to end the meal. Service was very good and impressively fast, with friendly staff who made sure everything was just right. The location is perfect-right by the beach with a beautiful view that added so much to the overall atmosphere. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality food in a stunning seaside setting.
Samer K — Google review
A popular establishment close to the sea and stunning mountainous views. Its London-themed decor is quite endearing and it appears to be open all day. On my three visits to the restaurant during my time in Tivat I saw a mixture of locals and foreigners enjoying themselves in this friendly establishment. There's a great choice of dishes and drinks and I thoroughly enjoyed the oven baked octopus. The service is relaxed, attentive and polite, and the staff coped well to attend to everyone, even with large parties there as well. I was impressed. I'd definitely revisit when I return to Montenegro.
CR M — Google review
A cozy restaurant right next to my accommodation, with stunning upstairs views across the bay. I visited three times during the week for lunch/dinner and had the sea bass fillet, soup, and pancetta-wrapped chicken. The food was reasonably priced and tasty. Service was good and efficient. Some dishes could have used a bit more seasoning, but overall everything was enjoyable. It was lovely to enjoy the food and the view from the upstairs terrace.
Mikael J — Google review
The octopus salad was perfectly tender with a refreshing balance of citrus and herbs, while the dorada fish was grilled to perfection—crispy skin, delicate flavor, and incredibly fresh. A truly memorable dinner experience!
Jad C — Google review
We stayed at Palma hotel in Tivat and with intention to explore the beach we headed to Big Ben restaurant for lunch. It was about 40min walk under the Sun and the last 10minutes were exhausting. The place was full and crowded, we managed to get a table inside with no A/C, but after a cold drink your temperature get down and you feel good. We ordered 2 main fish dishes 2 cheeseburgers salmon salad 2lemonade water and a bottle of local beer. Total we paid 73EUROs. They brought drinks 1st and then all together. If we knew that we would not order salad though. Anyway, that was much for us, I was the only wo finished my meal, the rest could not make it. So probably getting less food next would be a good option for us. Nevertheless, we liked the food and enjoyed it. And headed back for another 40minutes to our hotel)
Shukhrat U — Google review
After rainy morning we arrived in Tivat and were hungry, found this place by reviews not gonna lie. Ordered fish & chips and beefsteak rissoto. Both dishes was a little bit different than i expected 😁 but tasty and a portion size realy surprised me, it is huge! Never seen so much cheese on the side and so much cheese on greek salads 🥗 Came back next day for breakfast, still good 👌 Located on the beach, prices is good, portion size its just wow 👌
Lukas L — Google review
This restaurant impressed us both times we visited. The service was excellent, with fast, polite and professional staff. The first time we had fried squid and pancetta wrapped chicken with mozzarella, the second time pizzas (Hawaii and Calzone), all perfectly prepared, tasty, warm, and well-seasoned. The kitchen runs flawlessly, and considering it’s in a tourist area, the prices are more than reasonable, even lower than expected. Overall, a completely satisfying experience and a 10/10 rating.
Nikolina V — Google review
Lovely location, we came around 8pm as the sun was setting, we were lucky to grab a table upstairs overlooking kotor bay, a beautiful view and nice atmosphere. Very reasonable food prices and big portions. I had the carbonara and the other half had a pulled chicken burger which was lacklustre. His onion rings were stone cold and when I alerted the waitress, she took them away, brought them back microwaved and soft and said ‘by the way, our onion rings are always served cold’ 😮 that was me told! Just because they always serve them that way doesn’t make it right. I also asked for another glass of wine (tiny at 0.10L) which she promptly forgot about. Because of her attitude mainly, I have marked them down. A shame.

The restaurant has garnered praise for its delicious pizza and pasta dishes. A fantastic Italian spot at Porto Montenegro! Wood‑fired pizzas, fresh pastas, and seafood shine alongside a waterfront terrace perfect for a relaxed lunch or sunset drink. Friendly staff and stylish marina views make it a top choice—just watch out for slower evenings and surprise service charges.

Nice little lunch stop, very casual open air in the middle of the marina. Food quality and serving size was ok for lunch. Crumbed fish was slightly over cooked but still ok. Would need to try other dishes to provide a better review at this stage. I was expecting a higher standard of food given the location and clientele in this area.

Beautiful restaurant by the sea. The atmosphere was truly amazing. We got lunch there and tried their sandwiches, coffee and pizza. I highly recommend the beef sandwich it was amazing but we didn’t like the pizzas. Service was a bit slow. Prices were a bit higher than other places at the port. We ended up paying around 12 Euros per person without the drinks.
Zeynep C — Google review
Good atmosphere and view is great. Liked the Moscow Mule, but Bellini happened to be twice smaller than in the menu. Prices are quite high. A pot of olives 8,5 Eur, cmon, guys. And I had to sit on a dirty couch

The portions are great, prices slash the neighboring restaurants. The staff are lovely, I'll sure come again
Luka V — Google review
Well what can I say, we were five, booked table at 8, we waited 20 minutes for menus, and one hour for food. The service wasn’t pleasant at all. Also the food price to value was way below standard. Not recommended.
Simon — Google review
Waiting time is 40 minutes. Even after the waiter said 5 min it took him 15 more to bring the food. There hot inside even they have air condition inside.
Asset Y — Google review
Lovely meal on the harbour appropriately priced for the area. Ourside tables a must! The pizza had a thin base with a good amount of topping. Black pasta was delicious. Service was a little slow but friendly and helpful

Ponta Veranda

Restaurant
Ponta Veranda is a family-owned restaurant in Tivat that promises an exceptional dining experience. The restaurant offers a wide range of delicious and well-prepared dishes, including hot-off-the-grill bread, fresh octopus, fish, and meats cooked over hot coals. With good service and a great wine selection, it's considered one of the best restaurants in the area. Visitors recommend trying the seafood options and advise making reservations in advance to secure a table.
Absolutely amazing! Super fresh and delicious food at fair prices. The atmosphere is fantastic, the place has a great vibe, and the staff is friendly and welcoming. A hidden gem — highly recommend!

We had a great experience at this restaurant. The meals were very tasty and fresh, and the portion sizes were absolutely huge! The service was also good. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a hearty, delicious meal.
Roman P — Google review
We had a very decent meal here of chicken kebabs, lamb kebabs, flat bread, Greek salad, French fries and tzatziki. We ate everything. The French fries were hand cut and delicious, the flat bread fresh baked yumminess, way too much tzatziki and expensive really at €6. Overall very happy with the food and the service, would recommend
Mel B — Google review
Very nice seafood restaurant with good prices and service. Delicious food. Not too crowded and nice place to relax for a meal. No sea view, but plenty of parking nearby.
Tim H — Google review
I stayed in Tivat for around 5 days and had lunch/dinner at this place on three separate occasions. That’s how good it was. None of us in the family are great fans of the Balkan cuisine, but this place elevated the tastes to a new level with extremely fresh ingredients, excellent understanding of spices, and mastery at the grill. I cannot recommend Ponta Veranda enough to anyone interested in trying the best Balkan cuisine has to offer, in all of its simplistic greatness!

Great food - civapi was delicious and squid was perfectly cooked. Homemade bread is also fantastic.

Absolutely loved this place! The food was delicious, the atmosphere was cozy, and there were so many adorable cats around. I’m completely in love — such a charming spot!

Amazing food and great service! Affordable and a lot of options. The tzatziki is so tasteful and the bread is very crunchy and fresh! Everything was perfect!

Bevanda is a great place to eat with fantastic food, drinks, and service. They have a location to die for and make sure that their pizzas are delicious - be careful not to overseason the prosciutto's one!
Our first restaurant in Tivat. Nicely bordering the sea, service is cool and without rush. The view is spectacular and it really feel like holidays. Food is tasty, price very reasonable. Follow me on IG fpstudios.34

I had breakfast at Mala Bevanda, and I absolutely loved it! The breakfast I chose was a simple omelet with bell peppers, potatoes, and sausage, but it was incredibly delicious. The flavors were perfectly balanced, and it was clear that great care was taken in the preparation. The atmosphere here is just amazing – cozy, relaxing, and super close to the sea, which adds a special touch to the experience. What truly stood out, though, was the service. Sasha, the waiter, is such a warm and helpful person. His beautiful smile and friendly demeanor made the experience even better. The prices are also very reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food and the wonderful ambiance. I highly recommend Mala Bevanda to anyone looking for a great meal and a pleasant dining experience by the sea. Thank you for such a lovely start to my day!

Terrible experience — extremely arrogant waiter! We went to this place and sat outside by the water. Shortly after, a very arrogant waiter came out and, without asking, placed an umbrella in such a way that it blocked the sun and made it cold for us. We wanted to order three cocktails, but as soon as we mentioned the first one (a Mojito), he immediately interrupted and said they didn’t have it. Instead of being polite or offering alternatives, he just rudely asked if we weren’t going to order food. We explained that we only wanted to have some drinks, and he just stared at us for about 10 seconds in a very disrespectful way before saying that the tables in that area were “only for people who eat.” We left right away because his attitude was absolutely unacceptable. The worst part? We clearly saw at least three other tables in the same section where people were only having coffee. Such arrogance and unpleasant behavior completely ruin what could have been a nice spot. Never again.
Ineed M — Google review
Very tasty food - particularly good pizza and Caesar salad. Lovely peaceful place to sit outside by the water. A little shocked by the price of a glass of wine - 9 euros!
VeggyD — Google review
We were here on Saturday. The restaurant is in a stunning location by the sea. Unfortunately, the pizza was tasteless. We ordered dessert, but after placing the order we were told that there were no desserts available at all. Our last drink order was forgotten. There were only two other tables besides ours, so we were a bit puzzled by the chaos.
Lőrincz Z — Google review
It was a place where we were excited to try their pizza, but it was out of stock due to take away orders. It was around 8 o'clock. You can consider that before you go. I think amatriciana should have definitely be tried. Pastas were great. Only thing that bothered me was slow service. I think food prices were affordable (around 10-15 euros per dishes) but alcohols were above average (paid 9 euros for a glass of wine).
Başak K — Google review
I’ve tried the best Buzara (mussels in a special sauce) in my life at this restaurant! Besides that, I had a vegetable soup and although it was tasty, it was a little bit too spicy for my taste. Since it’s a classic vegetable soup, it should be left to the guests to season it to taste. Also, it seemed like the lemonade was not fresh (I guess pre-squeezed in the morning) and was served unusually fast. The staff was professional and responsive, but kind of indifferent. There’s a beautiful sunset view if you’re having dinner on the terrace. The only real downside is the hygiene of the toilets, I had to leave my paper towel after washing my hands on a pile of other paper towels. Apparently, the trash can was not emptied regularly and it was unacceptable and unfair to the outstanding Buzara, but the details make a difference between 4 and 5 stars.
Tanjula T — Google review
🚨 Safety. I saw two propane gas containers placed directly under sunlight on the roof. I informed the people inside, and their response was: “We’ve had them there for 7 years and never had a problem.” The only reason nothing has happened so far is luck or the pressure relief valve. If a cylinder vents on a hot day, the area can fill with gas. One spark from a phone, static, or a cigarette and it becomes a bomb. It only takes one time to be deadly.

Nestled a bit further along the marina, Mala Barka is an absolute must-visit for seafood enthusiasts in Tivat. This charming restaurant boasts a warm and welcoming atmosphere, complemented by friendly staff who go above and beyond to ensure a delightful dining experience. The menu features outstanding dishes, with highlights like the Carpaccio Platter that showcases fresh flavors beautifully. Guests rave about the excellent service and impressive wine selection, making every meal memorable.
A nice and elegant place with fresh, tasty seafood that’s beautifully presented. The service was excellent. We would definitely come back and recommend this restaurant to our friends!

We had a wonderful experience at this seafood restaurant! The staff impressed us with their professionalism and warm attitude, making the evening feel truly special. The dishes were not only delicious but also beautifully presented — every plate looked like a piece of art. One important tip: it’s best to make a reservation in advance. We were lucky to get a free table without one, but I wouldn’t count on that happening again. This place is absolutely worth a visit — highly recommended!

An absolute gem! We visited Mala Barka two years ago, and it quickly became our go-to spot during that trip. Fast forward to today: even though we’re not staying in Tivat this time, we still make a point of coming here for dinner. The seafood is consistently excellent: fresh, beautifully prepared and full of flavour. I highly recommend the prawn tartare with truffles, the fish carpaccio with truffles and the black risotto. Honestly, you can’t go wrong with anything on the menu. The staff are warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. Easily one of the best seafood experiences in Tivat.
JJ J — Google review
Well the initial atmosphere was good, the service was great and smooth. Anchovies as a starter and fresh fish as a main course. I made a mistake and didn't ask the price of the fish. Very expensive I think. I wouldn't have paid that much but I raise my hand to show my mistake. But the anchovies were good. I've only had better ones in Piraeus Greece!

My first time to Montenegro and Tivat. Overall the Porto Montenegro is excellent in every way. Mala Barka serves some of the best seafood in the port. We were served by the owner who is charming and very helpful. The black squid risotto was 5 stars, the grilled squids as well, but the big surprise were the home made french fries..next level!

Punto Crudo Restoran is a charming eco-restaurant located in a historic building by the sea in Donja Lastva, near Tivat. It offers creative cuisine and is highly regarded as one of the favorite dining spots in the area. The restaurant's picturesque location along the coastline road to Lepetani adds to its appeal.
Probably the best views in Tivat dining on the terrace surrounded by the sea. Very attentive friendly staff offering advice and conducting themselves in a professional manner. Food portions are well balanced, great tasting and well presented. Reserve in advance for dinner. Great atmosphere found ourselves returning on more than one occasion. Brilliant

Really enjoyed having breakfast here with such a beautiful sea view – it’s the perfect spot to start the day. The service was great, staff were friendly and quick, which made the experience even nicer. The food looked good and was decent, but the taste could definitely be improved a little to match the amazing setting. Overall, a lovely place to relax and enjoy the view, just wish the flavors were as memorable as the scenery!

Punto Crudo in Donja Lastva is absolutely stunning! 🌊✨ The setting is beautiful, romantic, and right on the water - truly special. Both the breakfast/brunch menu and the evening menu are outstanding, with food of the highest quality and excellent flavors. The service is wonderful and makes the whole experience even better. Prices are not the cheapest, but absolutely worth it for the quality and atmosphere. We loved it so much that we went back two more times, and if we had more days, we would have kept returning. A perfect dining experience from morning to night! 🍷🍳🍽️

Such a romantic atmosphere - the food was perfect, and the setting just as incredible as mentioned above. Service could have been a little quicker, though with a table of 12 it’s completely understandable. Definitely a must-visit when in Tivat 🤍

Restaurant
Sidro, situated beyond the Porto Montenegro vicinity, is predominantly a popular eatery among the locals. The menu primarily highlights grilled meats and customary Balkan grilled delicacies at an incredibly affordable cost. The decor is modest, but if one desires flavorsome Montenegrin cuisine along with reasonably priced beverages, Sidro stands out as one of Tivat's top dining establishments to satisfy such cravings.
Found this place on google maps reviews. Great local place, excellent food cheap prices. We ordered MIXED-Grill for 16€ only. Two adults and two children barely ate all the dish together! We will return definately!

We tried the grilled meat platter ‘Sidro’ — three of us shared it and still struggled to finish! Everything was fresh, perfectly grilled, and incredibly juicy. The service was also very friendly and welcoming. Great value for money. Highly recommend! 👌🏻

Authentic wooden interior with a cozy, intimate atmosphere. There aren’t many seats. Unfortunately, the menu isn’t available in English, but the enthusiastic waiter was happy to explain everything. The chicken fillet was incredibly juicy and flavorful — absolutely divine! I highly recommend it.

Got too excited due to great reviews here. Tbh, food was pretty mediocre. Pork was hard, chewy and undercooked (!). The second dish (have no idea how it was called - the one that is the bread crumbs) - was raw inside. After we told them about it (only about the second dish)- they just threw those pieces that we cut in the oil, cooked it longer and served back. Absolutely disgusting, greasy meat. Overall, did not like the food and would not recommend it.

This is a true local restaurant of Tivat. It’s a great bang for your buck, for sure. The server was sweet and tall. He gave us English menus. We got so much food for so cheap. We even have lunch for the next day. The chicken was very tasty and grilled very nicely. The kebabs were sweet, juicy and flavourful as a kebab should be. The fries were crispy and they give you room to add your own salt. The vibes were Homie.

Top spot if you are looking for grill meats, ordered a stuffed pork steak and corn bread, everything was really tasty price is also reasonable the waiter who served me was also nice and always smiling which is not common to find smily people in Montenegro. Thank you, will come back soon!

The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the grilled meat platter Sidro for three girls, but it turned out to be more than enough. The meat was incredibly juicy and flavorful. The service was excellent – friendly and attentive. We were even treated to a complimentary scoop of ice cream, which was a lovely surprise and a big bonus for this place. Highly recommended!

Gallardo

Steak house
Gallardo, a steak house in Tivat, offers exceptional service and a well-spaced interior to ensure social distancing. Advance reservations guarantee a comfortable booth seat with the added bonus of complimentary dessert adorned with a celebratory candle. The pork BBQ ribs are generously portioned, albeit not as tender as expected. Nevertheless, Gallardo excels in both ambiance and service, specializing in mouthwatering steaks.
Our airbnb owner recommend the place. Food was great. Service and atmosphere also but we been there for rack of lamb but they said its not cooked for today :/ so thats why we try bbq ribs. Its also good but we probably more happy if we had rack of lamb. You must try.
Mehmet İ — Google review
Really nice food here, although the location is definitely built into the price. We took the steak and rabbit and both were excellent. Pretty impressive range of meats in the menu, definitely worth a visit.
Paul W — Google review
Incredible food and atmosphere. Staff were kind and the food came reasonably fast for what we ordered. We were let down once finished eating and were left for ages waiting for the bill. The scallop nigiri was incredible and the best sushi I’ve ever had. Aperol was listed at €5 and when I went to pay, we were charged €15, be wary of prices.

Huge degradation of service! Stake ordered medium rare came well done! Ordered baby potatoes got plain frozen potatoes from bag. Waiter was kind enough to admit that stake was well done while kitchen refused to prepare a new one. We received a dessert on the house from the waiter as he was truly sorry for the situation.
Stevan Š — Google review
Attentive service and tasty food. Recommend. Decor is wonderful. Staff are friendly and kind. Prices are on the higher side. Gets busy so you might want to reserve a table
Sam — Google review
Blunt, honest and useful — this place has serious cooking chops but a crippling shyness with seasoning. Had some real highs and some maddeningly safe choices. Fix the salt and the spirit of a few dishes and you’ll be dangerous. Tea — Solid. Clean, competent, exactly what it should be. No drama, no complaints. Avocado & tomato starter — Pleasingly fresh and balanced. Good texture, good temperature. A minor triumph. Steak salad — Absolutely banging. Properly executed, well-seasoned, and lively on the plate. This is the kitchen at its best. Serve more of this confidence across the menu. Fried beef brain — Healthy for being so bland. Texture and cooking were fine; flavour was timid. It didn’t offend, but it didn’t sing either. A little acid — lemon or a tangy dressing — and a pinch more seasoning would transform it. Mediterranean octopus — Nicely cooked: tender, not chewy — technique nailed. But again: timid seasoning. This wants bright, smoky and herbal notes. Suggestion: finish with smoked paprika, a scatter of spring onion and a hint of rosemary to lift the dish without overpowering the octopus. Braised oxtail — Melts in the mouth; the slow-cook is exemplary. Tragically, the sauce is emotionally constipated. It needs depth, lift and personality. Suggestions: add coriander, parsley and spring onion for freshness; introduce an alcoholic whisper — a splash of red wine or a cheeky measure of brandy — to enrich the braise and round the flavour. Don’t be afraid to season boldly; this is a dish that rewards courage. Overall verdict: the cooking technique is excellent across the board — tender meats, clean tea, confident steak — but several dishes are being held back by an over-cautious approach to seasoning. The team clearly knows what they’re doing; now they need to show it. Be braver with salt, herbs and finishing touches. Apply the small, pointed suggestions above and these plates will go from “nice” to unmissable.

We're currently enjoying a holiday in Tivat, and I have to share that we discovered an incredible restaurant! On our first visit, I ordered the T-bone steak, and it was hands-down the best steak I've ever had—perfectly cooked and paired with the most delicious peppercorn sauce I've tasted. It was so exceptional that we returned the next night. This time, I tried the surf and turf burger, and to my delight, it was the best burger I've ever eaten. The staff were warm and welcoming, and the atmosphere was absolutely fantastic, making every moment unforgettable.

We had our breakfast here, sitting indoors as the AC is important for us during the European summers. What we liked: - a lot of options for breakfast (healthy and not so much), including some not-boring ones like an omelet with beef tongue ❤️and avocado toast with anchovies; - the portions are for 2 people, I should say, so order responsibly:)) - the coffees are really good (I am usually not satisfied with my cappuccino on coconut milk here in Tivat), the baristas know what they are doing without doubt; - the service was provided in both English and Russian; - I asked to prepare my pancakes without oil and it was executed perfectly!!! Thank you!! Comments: I believe the dishes at this price point in Eastern Europe should be decorated in a more sophisticated way. This lack of elegance is everywhere in Montenegro but, at the Ibiza breakfast price point, you expect more. A suggestion would be to make the dishes smaller (two times even 😀) but more nicely looking. I suppose Gallardo's target audience will appreciate that and you guys have better reviews:))) For instance, my “tailored” oil-free zucchini pancakes looked much nicer than the ones deep-fried. The beef tongue omelet… Maybe not put the bread on top of it and fully cover it with sauce… Anyway, thank you, will be back!

Super lovely restaurant. We had dinner here on Saturday night for our anniversary and had the best service particularly from Mladen - he was so nice, very attentive and just had the friendliest attitude. He gave me a nice recommendation for my main dish which I really enjoyed. The overall ambience of the restaurant is beautiful, really nice music also playing. We sat inside but they have lovely views of the harbour and a really nice seating area outside. I would highly recommend this place for a nice dinner no matter what the occasion.

Wonderful restaurant on the port in Tivat, great service and superb knowledge of the menu from the waiter. Great recommendations I’d 100% recommend this restaurant if you’re looking for that special evening. Local beer isn’t on the menu which should be a crime as it’s so much better than the Danish options they have. The octopus was lovely but the highlight was the scallops.

Mario and Luka gave THE best service! We got to sit by the water and had a beautiful meal with friends. Luka was amazing and was so attentive and even gave us the recipe for the garlic marinade. We loved it so much we came back for dessert and espresso martinis and Mario served us and even got us new martinis when we complained the first batch tasted off. We love this place and will absolutely come back! Javona the manager made us feel so welcome and we are so appreciative!

Great restaurant in Tivat! The squid was delightful, the tuna was super fresh and the zucchini risotto was to die for. The service and the meal were excellent, my only complaint was that the mains did not include any sides. To charge €30 for a piece of fish, with no sides seems off. No one is going eat just a piece of fish, do me a favour and include a side with your mains.

We came here twice and ordered the same thing each time. A mixed grill platter, loaded with grilled steak, chops, chicken, sausage and chips all cooked and seasoned to perfection and a Greek salad. Both were superb and cheap! If you want a nice table outside it is best to book earlier. The staff are lovely too.

Nice shaded outdoor space, we had mixed seafood salad, sea bass with chard and potato, black risotto, all good. Local beer great for 2.90 euro a pint, relaxing place which also had a fan, definitely required when the temperature was around 34 degrees

We loved this konoba in Tivat! The prices were good, the portion sizes were quite big and we really enjoyed the outside seating area as well as Žilavka white wine - glass was only 2,4€! We came here multiple times to try different meals and my favorite was the fried squid. Tasted really fresh.:) This place was recommended by our host and it really felt more local and chill compared to other restaurants that were clearly targeting tourists.
Viktorija M — Google review
The swordfish steak was extremely overcooked, dry, barely warm, and almost impossible to chew. The side dish that came with it was clearly from the day before and had been reheated poorly. As for the prawns in tomato-based sauce - unfortunately, they arrived completely unpeeled, with heads and shells still intact. It’s really inconvenient to have to peel prawns while they’re covered in sauce. The only redeeming aspect was the service, which was excellent. That’s the only reason I gave four stars; otherwise, it would barely be three. If you have a choice, I’d recommend skipping this place and trying somewhere else.

Nearby airports

Tivat Airport

International airport
Tivat Airport, located near Kotor in Montenegro, is a small but well-connected international airport. Despite its size, it offers a pleasant atmosphere and friendly staff providing good customer service. The security check process could be improved, but the airport's compact layout makes for easy navigation between check-in and boarding gates. It is conveniently close to Tivat town center and easily accessible by taxi. While not the most luxurious airport, it provides all the essential amenities for travelers.
After everything that happened in Montenegro, arriving here was such a relief! The airport is small, sure, but the staff were effortlessly cool, kind, and polite- they even joked, never rushed us, and made everything feel completely stress-free. Only gripe: no outlets to charge devices. Otherwise, absolutely top-notch service! 👌
Zdravko J — Google review
Ok, I'm going to be completely honest and fair with my approach, apon arriving the airport is beautiful surrounded by mountains and nature beauty, it is a very modest and small airport with two terminals and with the two, still smaller then a lot of UK small airports, there is a bit of a wait when you arrive but it's not too bad and it's somewhere organized, the arrival was good to be honest flying out of LLA and arriving smoothly a a clean and short distance airport, ok now here is why it gets the low ranking, when reaching the airport it's not very organised, it feels understaffed and miss managed, the airport is very small which isn't a big issue, however the issue is how they utilise space and control space and the use of barriers, there's not much communication from anyone from either easyJet or staff from the airport, they need to proved a better and organised queuing system for passengers, I definitely do not think it is the worst airport I have visited. For me better organisation amongst other factors I would have given this a 3 star rating. I think this can easily be achieved, with proper planning, organising and management. There is a place to eat outside and a small duty free in both terminals with limited service and options available, I didn't see any free water fountains in either terminal and for free wifi "Passengers" is the name I didn't need to input a password. A little bit of care, consideration and customer focus can change this whole experience, Montenegro is beautiful and definitely worth visiting just plan your airport visit well and be prepared to wait and plan well.
NURDIN W — Google review
We are from India and we are quite used to chaos. But this was our first chaotic experience at an airport. The airport made us appreciate great airport infrastructure back home! If you are landing here then you will find it super cute. But catching a flight from here makes things pretty adventurous. Read further to know what you as a passenger should do! Positives 1. Closer to Kotor and Budva. Tivat is a much more scenic place as compared to Podgorica if one needs to halt here. 2. Very scenic airport - getting in and out of Montenegro from here feels good ! Negatives 1. Its a very small airport complex - not meant to hold such high air traffic. 2. The queuing system is completely broken - no barriers , so you just don't know the starting point of queue and which queue is for what. It leads to chaos. There is no signage and hardly anyone to guide as well. So the moment one enters into the airport one feels lost !! 3. Little facilities of a typical airport : A small cafe outside, a very tiny duty free shop, small seating space, no water refill stations. All you see is a huge crowd. What should you as a passenger do : 1. Reach early to avoid hassle. We reached 2.5 hours early and we were fine. Reaching 3 hours early would make things more comfortable. 2. Be mentally prepared for chaos and stay calm. 3. Get some food packed from a local Pakara ( Bakery) , have half a litre of water to stay hydrated. 4. Seek help - if you see a staff or even fellow passengers - ask them which queue is for what. 5. Scan the layout of the airport : the moment you enter Terminal 1 - the ticketing booths/gates for you to get boarding passes are are right in the front and passport control is on the left. Step 1 is to check the board for your flight ticketing gate. Ask the security staff to let you inside and join the queue for your ticketing gate. Once you get the boarding pass, join the queue for passport control. There was no queue initially for us and we had to find our place in the queue. But then gradually a proper queue started to form. Things become more structured and ease a bit after passport control is done! 6. Since there is a limited seating place near boarding gates - if you are a young person, let an older person sit and if you are an older person - don't suffer silently. Do request a younger person for a seat. 7. Don't leave your souvenir shopping for airport. The duty free shop is a pretty small one. This airport doesn't have much to keep you occupied. So the responsibility of keeping yourself entertained lies with you :) Hope the local government improves the airport infrastructure or at least have adequate staff and improves the queuing system. Meanwhile as passengers, do brace yourself for a lot of chaos!

Small Airport with 2 Terminals. Its a classic minimal airport for charter flights although Lufthansa and Air Montenegro and maybe other major companies get there. In terminal 1 there is a cafe bar and a kiosk and clean toilets before security. After security there is a small Duty free, with some Sandwiches sweets and of course the regular Duty free items. The toilets are a mess. Access to and from aircraft on foot.(maybe during winter its different). come'on Montenegro , you have a beautiful country invest a few Euro and give your Tivat airport a face lift!At this current state these terminals are not fit for purpose.

If you find yourself needing to fly out of this airport, make sure you are on the first or second flight of the day to avoid chaos. We had to drop our rental car off here a few days before flying and the airport at 4pm was complete mayhem. However, when we arrived for our flight at 7am check in was easy, security was quick and boarding was seamless. This airport cannot handle the huge influx of people, I hope they expand to accommodate more tourists.

Very small and busy - had to squeeze though very long security queue get to even get to check in desk. Huge thanks to a lady working there called Sonja who helped us with fast tracking for our child - the epitome of kind professionalism, gave us all our options and walked us through. Only one desk to check boarding passes hence the long queue. Vending machines, tpiketsand duty free only on airside. Staff clear and helpful.

Tiny airport, free WiFi. Not much fuss. Clean toilets. Horde of taxis waiting outside, to take you anywhere- at an inflated price ofcourse. Tip: Tivat town centre is just about 3 km from the airport. The road to the centre from the airport is relatively flat with no inclines or declines. If you don't have much luggage and fancy a walk (and save 15 Euros in the process), you can just walk it up. Unfortunately no buses from the airport to the centre of Tivat. Regarding departures, absolute mayhem. Even railway stations in India are more organised than the departure section of Tivat airport. No chaos, only 1 check-in counter opens for Air Serbia, and then the rest of the officials come to open up 2 more counters when they see the crowd building up and forming a huge line. Lol !!

This airport is an absolute nightmare. The organization is nonexistent, the staff are unbelievably rude and unhelpful and the whole place feels like complete chaos. It’s overcrowded, filthy and clearly not designed to handle the number of passengers passing through. Security checks are a mess, the boarding process is a disaster and you’re treated like cattle from the moment you walk in. Zero professionalism, zero comfort, zero respect for travelers. If I could give it zero stars, I would. Avoid this airport at all costs—it’s one of the worst travel experiences I’ve ever had.

Podgorica Airport - Terminal

International airport
Airport
Aerodrom Podgorica, also known as Podgorica Airport, is a small yet efficient airport in Montenegro. Travelers have found it easy to navigate due to its size and have praised the friendly and professional staff. The passport control process is notably quick, making for a smooth entrance into the country. However, visitors should note that there is no airport bus and the nearest train station requires a 20-minute walk.
Don't complain about taxi! There are taxi points inside where they offer you fix price 15 euro for one car to the center of city, even if you have 500 kg luggage 🧳 PS.that was the fastest passport control I have ever seen , no more than 5 minutes after landing we already were stayed near luggage line

A decent regional airport, but with room for improvement. The terminal is small and relatively easy to navigate, and the outdoor area is well-maintained with some greenery that gives a pleasant first impression. However, inside the terminal, the facilities are quite limited — especially in terms of food, seating, and duty-free options. Passport control and baggage handling were a bit slow during my visit. Overall, it’s functional and convenient for short trips, but don’t expect too many amenities.
Misha S — Google review
The staff are trying to be helpful but the airport is just super hectic and stressful. Not allowed through security until an hour before your flight and 2 people checking all the documents in the airport so massive queues in a tiny space (very few loos). Bring your own food and arrive maybe 1.5 (or even just 1) hour before departure if you don't have checked luggage. Also buses do run to the airport! A taxi on meter should cost around €11 to the centre.

Small airport but very quick to get through on exit. On entry it's an absolute nightmare. Very unhelpful staff. Unless they are your friend, then they take you through in minutes (as I witnessed). Almost missed my flight due to huge queues, over 1.5 hours to get through security and passport control. Duty free is rubbish, selling €4.5 euro supermarket wine for €10!!

Small and easy to navigate, the airport is a pleasant change from the massive hubs around Europe. No long walks, shuttle busses, or elevators required. The check-in area is a little chaotic, with a strange procedure required for payment on checked luggage. After checking in at the airline counter, you are required to go to the airline baggage office, where an employee has to call-in your credit card information to the main office. You are then given a paper receipt as proof that you have paid your checked baggage fee. Allow extra time for check-in if you plan to check bags that require payment…the line is long and the process can be painfully slow. Otherwise, don’t bother to arrive too early, as there are limited dining options, and passport control and security are relatively quick.

It's incredibly difficult to find an airport like this in this day and age. It's cramped and crowded inside. There's no place to sit. Everyone is lined up at the gates, waiting. This problem needs to be resolved. This airport simply can't handle this volume.

• Arrive early for check-in and security if flying during the morning peak — allow more time than you might expect. • Pre-book your transfer from the airport to your destination rather than relying on spontaneous public transport. • If you have a late arrival or very early departure, consider booking a hotel near the airport — sleeping in the terminal may not be feasible. • Bring any snacks or water you might need, especially if you have downtime — food / cafe options are limited. • Keep your boarding pass / travel documents handy and be aware of queues — the staff may prioritise certain flights or groups. • If possible, walk a little beyond the main gate or terminal to take in mountain or lake views — the location gives a sense of the surrounding landscape.

Shocking airport. Heaps of flights delayed. Struggled to fit everyone in, and there’s no power outlets anywhere (that work). Trapped in an airport without power isn’t great and shouldn’t really be happening in 2025. Everyone relying on phones for connecting flights and arrangements etc. Only positive is the wifi, which although frequently disconnects is pretty decent and has allowed me to write this lovely review.

Dubrovnik Airport

International airport
Dubrovnik Airport is conveniently located near the Konavle Region, making it easily accessible. The area is known for its rich agricultural heritage, offering a taste of traditional Dubrovnik with its wine and olive production. The airport itself is modern and well-maintained, providing a seamless travel experience. From efficient check-in processes to friendly staff, travelers can expect a smooth journey. Additionally, the terminal features various amenities such as shops and restaurants, allowing for relaxation and shopping opportunities before departure.
We have found the airport eady to navigate, and it was great to see that they had an information desk by the departures desks. Also at the arrival side you will find, a taxi kiosk, a tourist information centre, the airport bus shuttle kiosk, and rental cars kiosks. Toilets were clean. There are cafes on each end of the airport, one in the departure side and one in arrival side. On departure department after passport and security control, there's a water fountain. Duty free is quite big and there's more cafes and toilets that section. There are not any sockets for charging your devices.

Overall, Dubrovnik Airport provided a smooth and positive experience. The facilities were clean and modern, with particularly nice washrooms, and the free Wi-Fi helped pass the time while waiting in line. Passport control was straightforward and friendly, with easy access to passport stamps if you're coming from outside the EU. That said, the automated passport machines were out of order during our visit, which led to longer queues than expected. On arrival from Dublin with Aer Lingus, our plane docked on the tarmac rather than at a gate. The airport staff quickly organised buses to shuttle passengers to the terminal. It was quite hot outside, so be prepared for a bit of heat during the short transfer. However, on departure. A lot of the shops were closed in the diamond center downstairs, but the bathrooms were open, and they had some good Wi-Fi. And also, all the food was kind of the same between all of the stores, which lacked variety, which didn’t really help. And the logic for the power inside of the airport was kind of confusing. I was trying to charge my phone and had to squeeze my way through a chair to plug it in when it was easily accessible in other seating areas, directly opposite to me, but it was full so I couldn’t sit there, and for some reason the place where I was sitting, and didn’t have any charging outlets, which didn’t make any sense. Efficient service overall with minor delays, but nothing that took away from a good arrival experience. It's pretty uneventful -- however that was just for the arrivals section.

Modern, clean, and functional international airport. Nothing specific stood out, but it seemed like there wasn’t as many food and beverage options as you would find in a standard international airport. Bathrooms could also be a bit cleaner.

Modern but nothing special. Decent coffee shop with friendly, cheerful staff. Coffee was a decent price but the shops were very expensive. Security, luggage collection and passport was quick Check in and bag drop uses self service machines but easy enough and member of staff on hand. Nice park area outside with seating. Water fountain just past the security for filling up own flask.

A review for the The Sky Lounge at Dubrovnik Airport as there is no separate entry. It is located after security, near Gate 21. To reach it, take the escalator up, then turn left and walk down a long corridor before arriving at the lounge. The lounge itself is spacious and well laid out, with seating areas featuring sets of four chairs facing each other around a central table. One side has more traditional seating, while the other features lounge chairs that look out toward the mountains and runway, offering a relaxing view. The food and drink selection is modest but adequate. There’s a self-service area with a few bottles of wine — Chardonnay, Cuvée, and Rosé — as well as a selection of spirits on the left-hand side. You’ll also find some fruit (mainly apples and bananas), juices, two coffee machines, and a decent range of light snacks: salads, sandwiches, cold meats, coleslaw, and small desserts. Proper glassware and plates are provided, though plastic cutlery is used for some items. When I arrived, there were only four people in the lounge, and about twenty minutes later I had the place entirely to myself — a peaceful and pleasant experience on a quiet Sunday afternoon. Overall, the Sky Lounge is clean, comfortable, and calm, making it a nice spot to relax before your flight. While the food options are limited, the atmosphere and views more than make up for it.

Arrivals- Arrived in the ritual Airways early morning flight. From leaving the aircraft to getting in an Uber was approx. 30 minutes with hand baggage only. Just before past port control are the new European entry machines that starts I believe in the 12th Oct 25. Very clean new terminal. Very minimalistic on arrivals. Short walk from exiting arrivals to the roadway for taxis etc. car hire just across the road about 50m away. Used an Uber as fast and cheaper. Nice place Departures- Quickly through check in for the British Airways flight who did not offer online or mobile check in for this location so check in at the terminal only. Through security reasonably quickly and did not have to get liquids out of our bags which is good. Smallish to medium size duty free area down stairs and another small one upstairs after passport control. All seating areas were busy as mid day. Used a small cafe upstairs after passport control which had addition seating. Would have given 5 stars but departures services could had more offerings.

Small, not crowded, clean, quick. But access from town is 1 road that can be a problem if there is accident or bad traffic. Early arrival have to wait for screen to show where check-in will be and then doesn’t display counter even after check-in has started. Airport lacks hot food before or after security👎
