One of the best pizza restaurants in Avellino specifically for gourmet style pizzas. We had a pizza melanzane/parmigiano, a stuffed pizza which my wife and I shared filling us up. It was a new pizza and may not be on the menu and may have a different name having to ask. But, it was delicious! The atmosphere is very nice with a rustic charm with a modern theme. I definitely plan to return!

Yoooooo this was such a great place ... A diamond in the rough. I had a genovese pizza that I have never even heard of before that day. It was soooooooooooo delicious that i can't even comment normally on. It blew my mind. Absolutely loved Daniele Gourmet. Warm atmosphere, soft background music, good high chairs, friendly professional staff and delicious selection of pizza. The starters were also delicious and the beverage selection was good. We are there tonight for the first time, we live in area and will definitely be back again. It is at the Top of my list for restaurants in the area. Opens at 7 too, we are early eaters with kids.

Everything that I ordered off of the menu was simply delicious. Everything was fresh and made within view of the indoor seating. Great dining spot in Avellino that features local Irpinia/Avellino foods in a refreshing presentation. Our group of 5 enjoyed a Saturday lunch. We were quickly seated and the staff was extremely attentive. They provided recommendations based on their current specials. The menu is thoughtfully curated. We each found ourselves wanted to try more than just one dish! The caciocavallo and truffle antipasto was fantastic. The selections of salumi and cheese with jam was wonderful too. The bread was freshly baked and generously provided. We were all very pleased with our primi pasta dishes as well. I look forward to returning to try the Genovese. It seemed to be the favorite of the group! However, everything was cooked with care and flavor. The boar ravioli was truly beautiful and tasty. The gnocchi with smoked burrata and zucchini flowers was creamy and still light. Do not hesitate to stop in for a meal!

This was one occasion where the reviews did not disappoint. The staff were lovely. The menu was extensive and the food we ordered was fabulous! The wine list was also great and we were more than happy with the wine suggested to us by our waiter. We stopped here on our way from Rome to Salerno (a pitstop for us for the night before heading on to Alberobello in the morning).

I was travelling in Avellino with my husband we decided to stop here for dinner and we didn't regret it. The food was outstanding. The best we've had on our whole trip through Campania. We ordered the pasta genovese and salsiccia, provola e porcini, both were outstanding and a good selection of local wine. If you stop in Avellino, you must try this restaurant.

The journey from the city center typically takes about 20 minutes by taxi, or between 30 to 40 minutes by bus, depending on traffic conditions. One of the airport’s strengths is its layout—navigating from the entrance to the check-in desks is straightforward and doesn’t require much walking, which is convenient, especially if you're carrying luggage. However, one notable drawback is the signage. Directions to the gates can be confusing, particularly because many of them are located on the first or second floors, and the signs aren’t always clearly marked. In terms of amenities, there are plenty of restaurants and cafes scattered throughout the airport. Most are located before the check-in area, before security, and also within the gate zones. However, unlike many modern airports, I couldn’t find any access to free tap water, which was a bit disappointing. On the bright side, food and drink prices are relatively reasonable. People were even sleeping under a playground setup due to the lack of organization with this airport.

Taxis are very expensive, so there’s no affordable way to arrive later.
