Specialty Museums
Grantham Museum, located near the town center next to the Guildhall, is a heritage venue run by volunteers. It offers a comprehensive history of Grantham and its cultural roots, focusing on prominent figures such as Sir Isaac Newton, Margaret Thatcher, and Edith Smith. The museum aims to educate visitors through physical and digital exhibits about the town's role in the Normandy Landings and its famous personalities.
Fascinating small museum telling the story of Grantham and its remarkable history, including the lives of Sir Isaac Newton and Margaret Thatcher, who both came from Grantham, and the town's interesting history in the Second World War and it's involvement with Operation Chastise, the Dambusters' Raid.
Simon R — Google review
Small but friendly local museum about life in Lincs and Margaret Thatcher. Small area dedicated to Newton. Nice touch was basic refreshments. Free of charge entry.
Penny J — Google review
This is a fabulous museum that goes above and beyond the static, dusty exhibits you might misguidedly expect. It is free to visit and well-connected to community life, having dynamic displays of local pottery and embroidery, as well as an exhibit of notable locals that invites contributions from others. The main museum displays are largely well put together. I was expecting to learn about Margaret Thatcher and the also the RAF connection to Grantham, but I had not previously realised connections with Isaac Newton and the Dambusters, and I have now learned who Edith Smith is and the important work that she did! I wish more museums showcased the kind of community connection in both past and present as well as Grantham Museum does. It was a fabulous holiday visit and I wish the volunteers and staff every success in the museum's future.
Anna P — Google review
Small museum about various aspects of Grantham's history and famous people and events associated with it, including Sir Isaac Newton, who attended school there, and Edith Smith, who was the first female police officer in the UK with powers of arrest.
Karen B — Google review
The Museum is closed temporarily until 2nd October 2025 for renovations.

St. Wulfram's Church, also known as the 'Glory of Grantham,' is a magnificent 14th-century limestone church with a remarkable 282-foot spire, making it the sixth tallest in England. This historic landmark has been standing for over a thousand years and boasts stunning architecture and beautiful stained-glass windows. The church is not only a popular tourist destination but also hosts regular services, organ recitals, and various events.
An absolutely stunning Church. Incredible statues and windows. The Xmas Tree Festival was on when we visited which was so beautiful and very xmassy along with a large ice skating rink in the centre🎄
Wendy B — Google review
CHURCH. Last visited 2025. The church is huge in scale. The architecture is splendid and of a grand scale. The interior has some interesting artefacts, memorials and tombs. The organ is magnificent. There is a coffee shop with various books and leaflets on sale. There is a visitor centre. The graveyard is neat and tidy with some interesting headstones.
Christopher J — Google review
They had the beer hall and this weekend is the Christmas trees. Charming, and my bonus was talking to who I think was the warden who enthusiastically explained about the stained glass windows and the pews and other interesting facts about the church. This is why I travel. For the helpful and great people I meet along the way.
C. T — Google review
A magnificent church in Grantham. We'll worth the 5 star recommended by Dimon Jenkings.
Janice L — Google review
Stunning medieval parish church on the outskirts of Grantham town centre, surrounded by some beautiful buildings. We popped in on a Saturday when the coffee shop was open and enjoyed seasonal stollen. It was lovely to see the church being visited by all ages. I was surprised how light it was inside and incredibly welcoming. There is so much to see, including imaginative stone heads, a variety of stained glass installed over 150 year period, a fairy tale castle of a font cover and information about Saint Wulfram. A beautiful and peaceful church.
Jo G — Google review
So peaceful and full of history beautiful church
Jock S — Google review
One of the largest churches in the UK, when it was built there was a seat for every person in the town. Easy to access and if early enough there's teas and biscuits. No entry fee

Wyndham Park

Park
Nature & Parks
Wyndham Park, located in Grantham, England, was established in 1924 as a World War Memorial Park and later renamed to honor Lt. Hon. William Reginald Wyndham. The park offers a variety of facilities and has been awarded the Green Flag since 2012 for its beauty and quality.
This is our favourite place to go as a family! It has everything. It is a very large park, ideal for runners, dog walkers and even cyclists. There are lots of different playgrounds, one for older kids, one for little ones which is gated, and there is an area with outdoor exercise equipment. There is a large pond where members of a motorboat club bring their remote controlled boats, which is cool. The River Witham runs through the park, with plenty of footbridges to overlook the beautiful river. Lots of children play in the river, as it is quite shallow, they love it. If the river isn't for you, there is the paddling splash part, not far from the river which is free and open from May to September. Plenty of places to sit and have a picnic. There is a little café on site along with an ice cream shop and normally an ice cream van. There are toilets in the middle of the park next to the visitor centre. We haven't been able to go to the visitor centre, as it has been closed when we arrive. I fully recommend this place for a few hours.
Hayley N — Google review
A nice park to have a break for a few hours. There are two small children’s play areas and a nice boating lake. Parking is not the best as it can be full and it isn’t clear if there is any overflow, but a nice place to relax for a few hours overall.
Martyn R — Google review
A gem of a park! Water play area for kids, a great cafe and bowling green. A visitors centre and I'm told a climbing adventure park including zip line. Only downside is but enough parking!.
Rob E — Google review
Had a lovely morning at the park again. Took a towel to dry off the rides and swings. My grandson enjoyed seeing the ducks and swans on the river, and very fascinated watching people working out on the free exercise machines. Had a coffee and Halloween cake and cookie at the bowling cafe. Fun for all ages here
Mandy D — Google review
A decent sized park with a variety of zones to enjoy. I visited in the early evening and it was still being well used. Clean. Not many flowers/plants but beautiful trees and water.
Sally R — Google review
It's a beautiful park for family, friends or for a solo date❤️ the ice cream palour has a great variety of delicious flavors and drinks. There's limited gym equipment for those who want to gym outdoors. The tennis court is big enough for a fun game, but its advisable to bring your own racket. The sound of the small waterfall and leaves brings about a sense of tranquility to relax your mind and body and just breathe 🌬
Christine N — Google review
It was such a lovely place! I visited Grantham for the very first time. Small quiet city I must say. I decided to visit the park, maybe a wakk to look around. I was impressed by how neat the park was, very well kept. The mapping, the walk ways. There was the beautiful stream with what looked like staircase waterfall thing. The scene and the sound was very relaxing. The children playground was fun too. Lots of play options, I found myself on the “rollercoaster" rolling and laughing like a kid, I visited some of the courts; table tennis, lawn tennis, football pitch, older children playground, bowling side. The outdoor gym was spacious and easy to use. There were so many sit outs and corners for photoshoots, picnics, had me imagining what summer would look like. There was this boat riding place, not sure what it was as we met it closed but it looked interesting. Lots of people were walking there dogs and I paid particular attention to a lady who picked up her dog’s dung as soon as it did the poo, it made me appreciate the neatness culture. Ofcourse there were bins on all corners so it seems pretty easy to keep up with good sanitation. I will definitely visit again if I find myself in Grantham sometime in the future. Please find pictures and video below.

The Guildhall Arts Centre, located in the heart of Grantham, is a versatile arts venue housed in a historic building that once served as the town hall, jail, and sessions hall. Originally built in 1787 and later relocated to St Peters Hill in 1866 due to an escape by a criminal named Jesse Dale, this beautiful Victorian structure now features a thriving arts venue with a coffee shop and helpful staff.
Went to see Beauty and the Beast Panto. Great venue. Treated ourselves to a box which was fantastic. Really well organised venue with lots of staff/volunteers to help you.
Sarah C — Google review
Love this place we went to see a Shakespeare play this time. The actors were brilliant funny and very talented. They spoke the old language with ease. The theatre was filled with parents and children doing their gcse. Thankyou for putting it on as a parent it means I can help my child understand.
Dawna G — Google review
Today was a remembrance parade, so decided to have a hot drink and snack while I waited. The cafe inside the guildhall is very nice and homely, the staff are friendly and attentive Toilets are clean and tidy and quite spacious Free WiFi and comfy seating
Steve — Google review
The Guildhall is a beautiful old building, now used as a theatre and events venue. It has a lovely cafe on the ground floor, perfect for a coffee and a cake or a spot of lunch. The theatre hosts all sorts of productions, such as plays, musical acts, tribute bands and pantomimes. There are also two rooms that can be hired for weddings, celebrations & meetings. See my pictures below. The ballroom is stunning. We used the smaller room (the Newton room) recently for a memorial service and it was perfect. Very friendly, helpfull staff. I highly recommend the Guildhall as a venue.
Tim D — Google review
First visit to this theatre to watch Macbeth and we would definitely go again. Very clean and tidy. Seats were comfortable and reasonable leg room between the rows. We will return
Andy S — Google review
A nice old building to go and watch a play. The only complaint I'd give, if you have arthritis the seating is a bit crampt. There are other seating which don't have this problem. I'd still go there again to watch another show.
David P — Google review
Absolutely amazing pantomime at the guild Hall hosted by Polka Dot Pantomimes ! The cast were awesome, jokes galore, dancing and amazing songs 🎵 ❤ My children loved it and they have managed to convert my husband - we have been watching Polka Dot pantos for 3 years running - next year Beauty and the beast ! Can't wait!!!!!

It was beautiful we took a picnic and sat watching the deer and squirrels then had a brief walk round the grounds before it closed. Panicked a little when we realised the gates were closed but as we drove up to them they opened!
Helen D — Google review
Dog friendly but don't expect to walk them inside garden area at all. Nice walk.round deer park area though. Staff not very knowledgable. Megabusy with families with kids for adventure playground. Not top of list to return with dog but not bottom either.

I loved looking around this beautiful house and gardens. I especially loved the sundial in the garden, that was used in the 1980's children's TV show 'Moondial'.

Tons of open space, walking trails and huge adventure playground. Make this an ideal venue for families. A perfect midway point in the country for meeting up with friends from all over. Loads of parking, a great coffee shop selling fabulous ice cream as well.

The staff are really friendly. Parking is free and there is plenty of it. The adventure playground provides fun for children of all ages; it has various slides, a miniature train, lots of rope bridges, balancing beams, zip wires, swings and so much more. The indoor adventure play is good and a nice place to be able to grab a bite to eat or drink. The house is stunning. The deer park is massive. I hope to return again very soon.

Grantham Bowl is a fantastic place for family fun and celebrations. The staff are incredibly helpful and attentive, ensuring that every visit is enjoyable. The bowling experience is top-notch with a variety of ball weights to choose from, making it suitable for all ages. In addition to bowling, there's an American-style restaurant and bar, as well as an arcade area with super fun games. The facility is well-maintained and clean, providing a great atmosphere for spending quality time with loved ones.
Excellent local venue and resource, wonderful staff and nothing was too much trouble, great value for money and highly recommended

£30 for 1 hour. We managed to get two games in for 4 people so it's pretty well priced. Pool table is really bad though, hence the 4 star review. The pool balls are far to small, and the air hockey has no air so it doesn't glide well at all.
Dennis S — Google review
Quiet 5pm Thursday. Helpful. Lots of space games machines pool tables bar and food counter. American themed

City Hall
Nestled in the vibrant heart of Grantham, Grantham Guildhall is a stunning example of Victorian architecture, complete with an ornate clock tower that captures the eye. This historic building has undergone a remarkable transformation from its past as a Governor's residence, ballroom, jail, and courtroom to become a bustling arts centre and theatre. Visitors can enjoy various performances and events while soaking in the rich history surrounding them—most notably marked by the statue of Sir Isaac Newton that stands proudly outside.
Grantham Guildhall is an impressive grade ll listed building. Built in a Renaissance revival Style, it was completed in 1869. It was used for council meetings until 1974. The building is now used as an arts centre and theatre. A plaque of Eleanor of castile was installed in the building in 2015, replacing the Eleanor cross that stood nearby and was destroyed during the English Civil War. A statue of Sir Isaac Newton stands directly in front of the building.
Andrew N — Google review
Went to see Aladdin last night, panto was FANTASTIC! So funny, actors hilarious (Aladdin and Jasmine were a bit “flat”, but the rest were AMAZING!). Only complaint is the theatre itself. Seating is FAR too cramped, uncomfortable and outdated. The seats were generally very uncomfortable. Leg room is ridiculously limited and the seats and extremely narrow. Did not make for a comfortable experience unfortunately.
Jemma H — Google review
Just seen the 2022 pantomime Rapunzel, great little theatre, great atmosphere, staff helpful and friendly, Rapunzel was AMAZING! Great to see kids being kids and adults being kids too!! Looking forward to coming back to see Gary Delaney

If you're looking for a delightful family outing, Fun Farm Grantham is the perfect spot to consider. This vibrant children's amusement center in Grantham, England, offers an exciting mix of indoor and outdoor play areas that cater to kids of all ages. Whether it's a rainy day or a sunny afternoon, your little ones can dive into ball pools, navigate tunnels, and conquer roller squeezes—all designed to enhance their physical and social skills while having loads of fun.
My twins celebrated their birthday today with a laser tag party. The staff member who ran the party was brilliant, not only with the children but also with the adults too. She encouraged a fun and inclusive atmosphere. Food was well organised and great portion sizes.
Kym B — Google review
I visited Fun Farm last month with my 3-year-old, and both my 3-year-old and 18-month-old nieces. We were accompanied by several family members. We were given a really warm welcome by Jane and the staff. Everyone was very friendly and cheerful. The kids had a really great time, they loved running around and playing with all the areas. The littlest loved the baby area. The whole place was well kept and clean. Entry was very reasonable and there's lots of parking. Highly recommend!
Clare B — Google review
First time visiting fun farm in Grantham and won’t be visiting again. Took our 16 month old and went into the under 24 month old baby play area. Unfortunately it was full of children who were 5+ running in and out and throwing the soft play parts about and play fighting. There were no staff members at the desk to try and resolve this. We ended up leaving after 10 mins and had to climb over the gate as still couldn’t see a staff anywhere. What a waste of £10. Would not advise anyone with a small baby. It’s a shame as fun farm in Lincoln is amazing!
Laura C — Google review
My grandchildren love going here to play and you have to book online choose a day and time slot. Usually not too busy which is good. Food good also.
Clare W — Google review
Staff really friendly and helpful. Soft play clean but hasn't changed much over the years. Few lights shining into certain ares to brighten it up maybe. Sensory area with touch and lights.
Susan R — Google review
Very nice service, all the ladies were helpful, smiling and provided a nice atmosphere at the birthday party!’ I recommend!
Natalia B — Google review
Our recent visit to Fun Farm was filled with fun and excitement, making it a memorable day out for the whole family. The play area provided a wide variety of engaging activities for children of all ages. From slides to tunnels to obstacle courses, there was something for everyone to enjoy. The vibrant and colorful environment added to the playful atmosphere, sparking joy in the children’s eyes. One aspect that stood out was the cleanliness of the facility. Despite the high traffic of visitors, the play area was well-maintained, with staff regularly tidying up and ensuring a hygienic environment for everyone to play in. The staff were courteous and attentive, readily available to assist with any inquiries or concerns. Their friendly demeanor added to the welcoming atmosphere of the establishment. While the café offered a selection of snacks and refreshments, the menu could be expanded to include more options for both children and adults, and better options other than fried. Overall, our experience at Fun Farm was delightful, and we look forward to returning for more fun-filled adventures in the future.
Matt M — Google review
Absolutely lovely staff! shame about the hour and half wait for food was first in at 12.30 and most people got there food I was still waiting at 2 so cancelled order and left as kids were hungry! Lady couldn't apologise enough bless her. Don't understand why they not aloud to use their own kitchen rather than relying on bowling alley and staff running back and forth 🤦‍♀️ custom and money is going to be lost if today's backblog of orders is a regular occurrence.

Easton Walled Gardens

Garden
Nature & Parks
Nestled in the picturesque English countryside, Easton Walled Gardens is a stunning 12-acre horticultural gem that dates back 400 years. Once the site of a grand 16th-century manor house, this beautifully terraced garden has been lovingly restored by Ursula Cholmeley and her dedicated team. Visitors can enjoy seasonal highlights throughout the year, from the enchanting snowdrop displays in February to vibrant blossoms in May and fragrant sweet peas during summer months.
Wonderful display of snowdrops, and other spring flowers, wonderful path to walk around the gardens, which make it accessible. Maze path, and "retreat" to hire. Two cafes, gift shop, and plants available for purchase.
Helen T — Google review
Easton is a really nice garden to visit, maybe a bit too hilly for mum to enjoy. We enjoyed the white space garden. Sweet peas should have been in full bloom when we went, but I think the weather hadn’t been kind enough for them to be flourishing. Food was good, though what was on offer was a bit limited. We did use the map to try accessing part of the garden across the river and had to double back because of a locked gate. Had the best idea for rose lovers: a smelling box, so you could find something you like and go and buy it!!
Karen B — Google review
Easton Walled Garden is a beautiful oasis of calm tucked away from the daily hustle of life. There's something different to see around every corner, The garden slopes into the valley on two sides so offering views across the many areas from wherever you are. Plenty of bench seats to while away your time whilst taking in the lovely views. There's lots to see, here. Food and drink from The Apple Store is varied and delicious, the outside seating offers tranquil & welcoming surroundings. Worth going several times per year to experience the best of the differing seasons. Easton Walled Gardens has our highest recommendation.
Ted D — Google review
Free entry to historic house members, this rescued garden around the now disappeared manor house is interesting if somewhat unspectacular . A pleasant walk , some interesting plants, but quite hilly. There are cafes on site as well as a shop . A nice way to wile away a couple of hours

Cafe is a delight. Lots of outside sofa type seating. No coffee AND no ice when we visited, but that didn't spoil it (Just shows some organisation issues). The two shops are both interesting in a National Trust style.

If you're looking for a delightful escape, the Belton Park walk is an enchanting experience that should not be missed. This picturesque stroll through the grounds of Belton House offers a serene atmosphere filled with the beauty of nature—think snowdrops and daffodils blooming in spring, alongside swans, ducks, and even deer roaming freely. The peaceful ambiance is complemented by the soothing sounds of birdsong, making it an ideal way to spend a leisurely afternoon.
First visit and it didn't disappoint. The house looks interesting but will have to come back. Gardens are well laid out with grade 2 listed Italian and french gardens. Adventure area is great and has something for everyone.

Lovely Christmas light display. I was a bit dubious before I went but glad I did, it was very enjoyable. A lot of effort had gone into it, all in all it was a very positive and memorable evening. Tickets seemed expensive, but everything from the parking to the adaptions to make the trial accessible was very good and organised.

Lovely Spring walk through the grounds at Belton House. Snowdrops, Daffodils, Swans, Ducks and Deer to see and so peaceful listening to the sound of birdsong. Nice way to spend an afternoon. Had a pot of tea and a sandwich. Three cups out the tea pot and a delicious ploughman's sandwich from the Stables cafe. Well stocked second hand bookstore and a nice gift shop selling a selection of items including The Moondial (book) a TV series from the past that was filmed here.

Absolutely beautiful national trust park to visit. Something for everyone here. Great adventure playground for children of all ages, deer, house, lakes and parkland to wander around.
Wendy B — Google review
Had a great couple of hours here on a cool dark December evening. The work that must go into the Christmas light trail is staggering. From the first display around the pond to the last musically linked light show, there is a constant assault on the senses. The colours are beautiful, and it is like an art show painted in lights and sound. A couple of good outlets, and a half way house bar make this a really fun trip.

The parklands alone are worth the entry fee. The massive adventure playground is a child's delight, and there is an excellent indoor play area with climbing and slides.

It wasn't overly busy. I arrived just after 12pm at the Brewers Fayre in Grantham. There was at least a 5 minute wait of standing before a staff member came over. Being neurodivergent and feeling overwhelmed I asked if I could sit away from the other people seated near the window but bluntly got told no they were reserved despite no 'reserved' signs on the many tables which were in excess of 6. My trip was spontaneous, I just needed some food as I was feeling lightheaded. None the less my food arrived and I was presently surprised that it tasted quite good, better than I expected. I also got a refill coffee but had to ask the lady where the coffee machine was, she politely told me the location. The coffee was great value. 👍 The only thing that did put me off was there were lots of flies in the restaurant seating area, which I understand can't always be helped but kept seeing the crawling on the walls and picture frames. Food was worth it and filled me up. Not sure if I'd come back but I might.

Great place to eat for families or even if you’re travelling. Great selection of beer and drinks. Food was so much better than other restaurants around. The carvery was on point, perfectly cooked and piping hot. The staff are amazing, from the moment we walked in to the moment we left staff were very attentive and helpful. Will definitely be returning. Outside area is also great to chill in the sun. Great breakfast the following morning too.

Updated review June 2025. Came for Sunday Roast to give it another shot having heard positive things from a friend. Pleasantly surprised. Good service, attentive staff, food and drink was all pretty decent. Meat choices on the carvery were mostly good - turkey and gammon both very good. Beef not so much as it was quite tough. Upped rating to 3 stars. May go higher after a further visit in future. Updated review February 2020. Had Tikka Masala again. Nothing like what it used to be. Watery and insipid with a limp and rubbery naan bread. At least I didn't pay full price. Oh, and the entire bar area smelt of dirty nappies. The staff are nice though, if a bit frenetic. Dropped to 2 stars and that's pushing it.

Always friendly but it can be hard to get someones attention if they are busy. The food is hot and fast. It is a roll them in, roll them out restaurant so not somewhere to linger over the meal. Whilst the tables are clean they don't sweep under the tables and so quite often there is mushed up food underfoot.

I stay at a lot of different Premier Inns around the country through work and I can honestly say that this Brewers Fayre is a good one. The food is hot and fresh, the service is friendly and attentive without being intrusive and the general cleanliness of the restaurant is very good. Yes, because of the attached children’s section, it can get busy and noisy but that’s only to be expected from young children! Overall, I would recommend this pub. You’re not going to get 5* Michelin food but what you will get is good food that’s good value for money.

What a great place! We celebrated a Wedding Anniversary, and our daughter's 18th Birthday here;it was the best choice we made as it was so nice, and so warm and such a relaxing atmosphere and the staff (especially Claudia and Charito) are so friendly,so caring, experienced and made sure that everything was perfect for us! And the food- just amazing, so so delicious and of such high standards, the best we have ever tried, just made to perfection! Thanks to Chef Daniel- he is A TALENTED CHEF, 100 stars out of 10!! Thank you for making our experience so enjoyable, would highly recommend!

This was a surprise celebration for my friends birthday. Food price for the size is abysmal. The overall markup and gross profit should easily warrant larger food portions, for the money. But the staff and service was paramount and wonderful. I would be proud to have any of the staff within any catering establishment. This was made all the more special by Shaz who works behind the bar. He was such a pleasure and spoke with our table and others with such a professional manner, approachable, friendly, respectful and level of maturity that's lacking in many people these days. He made a the evening really very good and wonderful for us. Especially the two latte I managed to drink. I wish the management team to pass on our thanks to him. And I would be happy to a personal chat with the manager or head office to compliment him and the young girl who served our table. Overall they were both amazing and other than the portion size (especially the beef, mash and gravy) for the money we had a wonderful evening.

This is our second visit and as always we leave extremely satisfied. The food is delicious, the service is so nice, polite and professional. The restaurant is very clean. I don't think there is a better place to recommend in Grantham. I highly recommend it. Today, for Valentine's Day, every lady even received a rose 🥰😍🙂

Excellent experience, the steak with black pepper sauce 😋 was lovely. The duck a little tough but the service more than made up to that little imperfection. Santos did a fantastic job, very entertaining and polite. I would definitely recommend a visit for special occasions.

Our family of six adults had a very enjoyable experience at Katana Restaurant while visiting Grantham for Christmas. The restaurant provided a warm and welcoming atmosphere, which made our holiday outing feel even more special. Chef Yam was an excellent host and went above and beyond to ensure our meal was memorable. He cooked our food to suit our individual preferences, which added a personal touch that we really appreciated. The food itself was flavorful and well-prepared, with a good variety of options to choose from. The portion sizes were generous, and we felt the price was very reasonable considering the quality and amount of food provided. Overall, it was a positive experience, and we’d recommend Katana to anyone looking for a good meal in Grantham. If we’re ever back in the area, we’d be happy to visit again.

I love a good Lounge and we hadn’t been to this one before. It was rather hard to find parking in the area past 8pm, we had to circle the town centre a few times. Overall we did enjoy our food! We came for a mid week evening meal, we ordered various meals and we were all very pleased. Followed by 2 lovely warm brownies. 😍
Abbie R — Google review
We popped in for a quick lunch on Saturday. We got seated quickly and ordered through their app. Our drinks arrived quickly. The watermelon iced tea was just a pump of syrop with some soda water, it was too sweet and wasn't great. The iced coffee was ok. I had Nesi Goreng - a fried rice dish with prawns and chicken. The chicken was dry and overcooked, it tasted like it was microwaved multiple times. It certainly wasn't freshly cooked and I didn't finish it. The husband had a harrissa chicken flatbread which was quite nice. The little one had an all day breakfast which was ok but you can't really go wrong with a full English. All in all, the food was below average. Cannot comment on the service as it was all done mainly via the app.

If you're on the hunt for authentic South Indian cuisine, AZIAN KITCHEN is a must-visit destination. This gem offers simple yet delicious dishes at incredibly affordable prices, making it a favorite among locals and visitors alike. While the decor may show signs of wear, it's the mouthwatering food that truly steals the spotlight. The restaurant boasts an impressive selection of vegetarian options clearly marked on the menu, ensuring everyone can find something to enjoy.
Passing by after a coffee in Westgate Bakery, I looked in the window. A stunning Nepalese girl opened the door and asked would you like to come in? A difficult offer to refuse. I had only intended to take a look at the buffet but it was too tempting not to stay and eat. I did not eat much of the buffet, as the  Nepalese girl asked would I like a dosa?  Not only stunning, but charming and pleasant and very helpful. It’s not often seen dosa, street food. It was excellent. If possible, it would be nice to serve on a banana leaf. The owner, wife and children walked in for a meal. We were introduced and long conversation followed about food. I ordered an iced mngo latte. Good, but not as good as I make or from Lincs Momo Lincoln Central Market. Meal washed down with Lion Sri Lankan lager. Restaurant is located in Westgate, serving Nepalese, Sri Lankan and Indian cuisine. Buffet Friday and Saturday evening. One of the few places worth visiting in Grantham. Grantham, Saturday afternoon and early evening dead, the streets deserted.

Located right in the centre of Grantham town, Azian Kitchen offers South Indian food. There is parking in the adjacent street which is free on Saturday evenings. The menu had a good spread of South Indian and Srilankan cuisine across various South Indian states. However, our visit was blighted by lack of serving staff on the day. The food was very good - authentic South Indian dishes, although some were better than others. If they had more staff on the ground, it would have been an even better dining location.

Based on reviews and recommendations had an evening meal of ghee dosa as well as idlis. Dosa is like a lentil and rice pancake- usually with spiced potato filling-I had mine without any filling.Idli is a steamed rice cake while vada is like a fried savoury lentil doughnut. At my request the chef made the dosa really crispy and kindly substituted an idli for a vada. All items were served piping hot, freshly made and authentic. Service and food were excellent and reasonably priced. Will definitely be back to try other dishes. Highly recommend. Have been back and had Chicken Biryani, lemon rice and a vegetable dish. Biryani served with pickles, papad, raita is excellent- and very reasonable at £9.99.

Leaf is a wonderful little South Indian restaurant in Grantham. I'd read the good reviews, so decided to give it a try. And I'm so glad I did. I decided to try a typical south Indian dish that you don't get in the typical North Indian (or Nepalese) restaurants. So I went for a Masala Dosa, which is like a giant pancake with potato & veg curry inside. This comes with a vegetable curry sauce and coconut chutney. It was AMAZING. I'm a carnivore, so was a bit hesitant that there wasn't meat involved, but what can I say? It was delicious. Give it a try. To top it off, the service was excellent too.

Excellent as always - guaranteed great service and delicious authentic food from the South Indian state of Kerala (God's Own Country). We visited after 1.5 years on a trip to Grantham, and this time we had Chicken 65, Kerala Beef curry, Kerala Porota, fluffy dosa with chutney, curd rice, and tea. Everything tasted fresh and yummy! Would love to visit again whenever possible.

My son & I visited early Saturday evening and were given a quiet corner table which was good. We started with poppadoms and pickle tray and asked for an extra tomato chutney. These tasted great, poppadoms were crispy and the spicy one did have a good kick. We decided to order 5 starters to share and all tasted fantastic. There was a delay in serving the chicken chatt puri which wasn't an issue, lots of chicken but unfortunately for us we found it too sweet, so didn't eat it. The staff were friendly & attentive, with good service. We gave feedback on the chicken chatt and we wasn't charged for it, which was a pleasant surprise. Restaurant was pretty busy in the early evening which is a good sign and deserves 5 stars and we'll be back again.

This is now my go-to choice for a great Indian/Nepalese meal. It is good for takeaway as well as dining in. They appear to take care to ensure the quality of the food is the same no matter which way you go. The staff are polite and courteous and everything is well proportioned with good quantities of meat in the dishes - unlike some other places I've tried. My only criticism is that the interior of the restaurant could really do with a makeover to bring it more up to date and create a better atmosphere and ambiance, but that's about it.

The Recruiting Sergeant pub provided a delightful dining experience for a large group, including young children. The table was ideal, the cuisine delicious and promptly served, featuring generous portions. The value for money was impressive. However, the highlight of the visit was the attentive service that made everyone feel warmly welcomed and appreciated. On another occasion, friends enjoyed a lunch from the senior menu at this establishment. They were impressed by the superb service and affordable yet excellent food options in an impeccably clean environment.
The food was excellent with generous portion sizes. The octopus was cooked to perfection—tender and not chewy at all. The fish was both flavorful and tender, a truly delightful experience! The oysters were slightly small but still tasty.

Have been to Recruiting Sergeant and I am always amazed how friendly and welcoming the staff are. There is a bar area in front and restaurant part in the back, some tables available outside too and decent sized car park. The food is nice, prepared up to the standards and tasty. The only little cons for a small portion of vegetables served with main. Also, the staff is happy to swap extra like chips for potatoes and that's very accommodating. Good choice of starters, mains and puddings that I recommend to everyone as they're super delicious.

Went to this pub for a meal which was very enjoyable. Not so, if fact absolute bad manners, was hearing the waiting staff & catering staff laughing about the nature of my wife’s allergy. If you are going to have the kitchen located so close to the restaurant then staff should learn to be more respectful. We will not be returning as this spoilt the occasion.

Nestled in Grantham, Namaste Dining is a delightful Nepalese restaurant that has quickly become a favorite among locals and visitors alike. My first encounter with this hidden gem was serendipitous, as I stumbled upon it while attending an event nearby. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it perfect for special occasions like birthdays—complete with thoughtful touches such as balloons and banners. The service at Namaste Dining is exceptional; the staff are attentive, friendly, and even remember returning guests.
I am a bit late to review this restaurant but came across my gallery of the food and time we visited. During my travels, I've had the pleasure of dining at numerous establishments across various locations, but none quite compare to the exceptional experience I had here, a Nepalese restaurant that stands out as one of the finest culinary discoveries I've made. My first encounter with this hidden gem occurred unexpectedly while attending an event in a nearby city and passing through Grantham. We wanted to have a quick lunch stop, how I ventured in and was immediately captivated by the warm ambiance and inviting atmosphere. Little did I know that this initial visit would mark the beginning of a culinary journey I wouldn't soon forget. To say that I was impressed would be an understatement. So enamored was I by the food and service that I found myself returning not once, but twice during my stay. Each dish that graced our table was a testament to the culinary mastery of the chefs, who expertly crafted traditional Nepalese fare with a level of skill and authenticity that is truly rare to find. From the moment we stepped foot inside, we were greeted with genuine warmth and hospitality that made us feel right at home. The staff, led by an attentive team, ensured that every aspect of our dining experience was nothing short of perfect. Their dedication to customer satisfaction was evident in every interaction, from their recommendations to their prompt and courteous service. But it was the food itself that truly stole the show. Each dish was a symphony of flavors, meticulously prepared and presented with an attention to detail that was nothing short of impeccable. From the rich, aromatic curries to the delicate momos and tantalizing tandoori specialties, every bite was a revelation, leaving me craving more long after the meal had ended. Even now, as I reminisce about my dining experience at Namaste dining , my mouth waters at the mere thought of the exquisite flavors and textures that graced my palate. It's a testament to the lasting impression that this restaurant has left on me, and I have no doubt that I'll find myself returning time and time again to indulge in their culinary delights. In closing, I extend my heartfelt gratitude to the entire team at Namaste Dinning, from the chefs who poured their passion into each dish to the staff who made our dining experience truly unforgettable. Your dedication to excellence has not gone unnoticed, and I eagerly anticipate the next opportunity to savor the unparalleled flavors of Nepalese cuisine at your establishment. Namaste.

Amazing food. Flavio was absolutely amazing. He opened the restaurant just for us. We started our experience with an amazing chat, everything was cooked from fresh, the food was absolutely delicious, the best seafood I had. The homemade stock used to cook the seafood was 10/10 soo much flavour, soo good we asked for some to take away. If I could give him more than 5 stars I would. The peaceful Thai garden you walk through as you approach the restaurant is lovely. It’s hard to believe you’ve just stepped off London Road because it feels like a little oasis. We were looked after by a wonderful waitress called Sydney. She was friendly, knew the menu inside out, and answered all the questions we had about the dishes without any hesitation. Her recommendations were spot on too. The food was absolutely beautiful. Everything tasted fresh and full of flavour, and the presentation was great. Between the four of us, we tried a good mix of dishes and everyone was impressed. The selection of beers was also really good, which made the evening even better. All in all, we had a brilliant time. Siam Garden is a great spot for anyone looking for authentic Thai food in a relaxed, welcoming setting. We’ll definitely be going back.

Charming restaurant set in a Siam style garden. Such an unexpected gem in central Grantham. We chose a set meal, which was delicious and good value. So pleased we came here for our end of holiday meal. We just wish that we lived closer to be able to come back again. All good. 😎👍👍👍😎

Free parking for the customers. Feel relaxed when I came to the place. Staff also friendly. When I arrived, the restaurant was fully booked. But she still helped me arrange more than 1 hours to get my dinner. So, If anyone need, I think you should do reservations first. Food so far so good. I think it’s not a traditional Thai food.

I recently had a visit to this lovely restaurant with a group of friends. Parking: There is a limited car parking at the front with around 10-12 vehicle space. The restaurant has a very beautiful entrance with a small garden and water like fountain. Food: The food was all of good portion and was very delicious. They even catered and fulfilled our request to make the food a bit spicy. The food arrived in good timely manner as well. Seating: The seating was nicely laid out for our group. And there were plenty of other seats as well. We were provided with a separate room which was big enough for our group. Disabled access. Although we didnt have anyone who needed the need. However, for other disabled customer info, there is stairs which might be a bit of challenge to go to the restaurant from the car park entrance. Price: The price per customer was roughly 25£ for starters main and side dish. Excluding drinks. Staff and Service: Staff were nicely dressed and very professional. I would recommend this place to anyone who would like to have the thai food.

When you arrive at Siam Garden your first view is the garden itself, which is really something. Statues of Thai goddesses greet you and there is a massive pond with water features give this place an authentic Thai atmosphere. As it was a beautiful evening I sat outside which was really pleasant. I had a king prawn pad Thai, chicken Penang and coconut rice. (Too much for one I know, but there was enough to take home for the next day) The food was delicious and the service was excellent. There was even a hedgehog wandering around the garden ! I will definitely be back soon.

Nice garden outside. Very friendly and attentive staff. Asked for chopsticks and a piece of lime for the pad thai, and they came back with it quickly. The food was good and authentic. Probably will go back to try their buffet.

We were delighted to find the Siam Garden - we were looking for somewhere to eat on the way to Cambridge, and a Thai restaurant with free parking caught our attention. The restaurant is very nicely furnished and decorated, with very large windows letting in lots of light while giving a panoramic view of their very pretty garden. We both had the tofu massaman curry with rice (a meal deal for only £11), which was quickly served and was delicious. I would have included a photo of the dish but we'd already made a good start on it before I thought to take one. The staff were delightful, polite and gracious. Overall a very modest price for an exceptional experience.

East Midlands Airport

Airport
East Midlands Airport is a popular choice for low-cost domestic and European flights, with the added bonus of a park featuring static aircraft. It's conveniently located near other airports like Newark, Nottingham, and Doncaster Sheffield. Visitors praise the airport for its friendly and efficient staff who go above and beyond to assist travelers. The security process is quick, with minimal queues, and the airport maintains a clean and modern environment.
Very convenient to travel from Nottingham city centre to Airport. Skylink Bus takes u right to the terminal within 1hr. The airport is usually quiet therefore the whole process is quick

Nice little airport First time coming here Clean place and can get through security quick there wasn’t much of a wait. Maybe 15/20 mins ish Very rude security guard there didn’t catch his name But didn’t let that affect the review or spoil the holiday Few shops here for last min bits Parking around the place anywhere is double red lines. No stopping or you get a £100 fine !! See you again

It's a great little airport which is really easy to get to. It has limited flights, but great for summer holidays to Europe. The worst thing is they have just introduced the new drop of cameras, so if you dont pay online within a certain amount of time, bang you get a fine! It's proof they are no longer thinking about customers, just lining their own pockets. Yes I see that it makes things faster, but just ask 10 people in the airport if they like it, 9 will tell you no. It's only the young tech savvy that actually want these sorts of systems. The management should be ashamed they are no longer running a service for the people, just for money.

The best airport of the UK. Easy to get there either via Skylink or by car. Small size, not crowded, fast to go through security. New scanners installed and recently renewed. It really sucks the £5 fee to drop off - most of airports in the world allow for free drop off under 10-15mins. A pity Ryanair reduced the routes to Italy from there, especially the fact they cancelled the flight to Pisa. Great place for plane spotters as you can even spot cargo 747s, despite is missing a proper plane spotting area where you can easily park and enjoy the views.

Usually use Manchester but EMA popped up and we thought why not. The airport is tiny, not a problem, but with so many flights going from 6am onwards, the airport filled quickly overwhelming shops. We queued all the way around the outside of Boots after the WH Smiths shop was even fuller. Seats were also in short supply and all those bodies were warming the area up quickly. We will never fly from EMA again!
Simon — Google review
I would prefer to give this no stars. The term ‘rapid drop off’ is a con. I have never EVER forgotten to pay parking, if I knew I had to pay, would I have made the same mistake twice upon pick up as I did on the drop off? Please Apcoa and EMA, make it make sense? The previous comments about the exploitation of passengers is correct, when you are in a rush to catch a flight and need a ‘rapid drop off’ naturally from viewing the signs you would read it quickly as having to pay for any time after 15 minutes. 3 minutes 42 seconds on drop off and less than 3 minutes upon pick up. I will be taking this to BBC Panorama because more people need to know about this if there aren’t clear signs, why would the driver be getting out of their cars to go right up to the signs to see the incredibly small writing, even with glasses you wouldn’t see that small writing. Some people also have anxiety about driving through the drop off as it is because its SO tight, the pot holes on the way in are ridiculous and the bumps are dangerous. What are you paying £5 for? Additional costs to car repairs lol And might I add, it was torrential rain and you can barely see through your front window at the car in front of you let alone a poorly stated sign. Clearly this crap parking system is not working given all the below reviews, do something about right now. 5 MINUTES SHOULD BE FREE AT LEAST.

Bittersweet really.... The airport itself as in catching a plane is perfect. Quick. Friendly staff. Clean. Etc. No probs and recommended 100% Where i am marking them down is the awful conjob parking system. Our grandparent got fuel for 2mins, we spotted him as we walked out and hopped in the car to save time..... Alas, a man in a little cctv van popped up and took photos and details. A 100 quid fine duly arrived a week or so later. We got fined extortionately for refuelling and daring to pick someone up at the same time. 2 mins tops. We work way too hard in this country for a well earned holiday. And still we get hassled/ fined/ observed/ threatened/ warned/ grassed or told off. So Myparkingcharge of Sheffield....I cannot write half of what I want to describe you as being or call you on here nor tell you directly as you are automated (wonder why?) but your devious rob dog inflated practices are destroying a lovely airport and people are saying so. Once your contract is withdrawn I hope karma irons you out. Have an awful day too man in little van. Hit a pothole or 4.

I actually think the service here is pretty amazing compared to Birmingham. We flew out on the 23rd of October and had a fantastic greeting from everyone we came across, from the guys at the drop & go car park, to the Jet2 staff helping us with our bags, to the team at security and the guys/girls in the aspire lounge (separate review). We arrived, parked, checked in and were through security in less than 30 minutes I'd suggest. Everyone was friendly - and I imagine it's pretty tough looking after people going on holiday every day while you're basically working! The way back wasn't quite as amazing... but the initial experience is enough to award 5 stars.

Humberside Airport

Airport
Humberside Airport, situated in North Lincolnshire, is a small airport with limited flight connections. It primarily offers domestic flights to Aberdeen and serves as a convenient departure point for travelers in the area. Despite its size, the airport boasts efficient check-in and security processes, ensuring quick and hassle-free travel experiences. Additionally, passengers appreciate the lack of long queues at passport control and baggage claim.
Humberside is a small airport which is a big advantage. The approach roads are not busy and the carparks are less than 5 minutes walk from the terminal. If booked in advance you can make big savings on the fees. Once inside the terminal there are no queues, but there is ample comfortable seating in the departure lounge. There are not many flights each day which means that they take off on time. Incoming flights are dealt with quickly by passport control. Pay for the carpark at the Information Desk and you're good to go. A far better experience for flights to Amsterdam than from Manchester or Leeds Bradford.

Terrible airport, lack of international flights is an obvious issue but with what they charge to take off and land here I’d imagine most airlines would rather stay clear. Flights are always delayed out of here and as for the state of the place, it’s like a shed. Literally, if you fly domestic your baggage claim is an old wooden hut, if you fly international you get a tin roof so a slight improvement but still rough plasterboard walls etc. it’s like a farmer has turned his barn into an airport and just got bored half way through the renovation. And the baggage!!! Wow does it take a long time to come off, considering how tiny the airport is and the short distance the bags travel you’d think they’ve been taken out for a day trip somewhere.

Very small airport, one taxi company on arrival… waiting time will be longer if you not pre booked…one shop when you enter through security and one little food stall, with nothing worth mentioning but here you can grab a bite. Staffs are friendly …quick security check as the queue is not long…parking is right outside the front doors. Check-in and security went smoothly .. one small duty free….one small cafe…the waiting area by the 2 gates doesn't really have plug point for charging.. need improvement here..

Humberside airport, what can I say, actually has to be one of the most stress free airports I've had the pleasure of tackling, both going away and coming home. Amenities for an airport it's size are good, but the price for a bacon sandwich, a beer, and a small bottle of water nearly £20 is a bit much.

Great small and handy little airport with very friendly and welcoming staff. I use HUY regularly to and from Amsterdam and was recently very impressed by the new boarding service direct from the lounge. It is a great initiative and I hope that it continues.

Amazing little airport, I really hope it doesn't end up like doncaster sheffield... If you live in the area it's much better to use this as a hub to amsterdam and then connect to anywhere in the world through there, then trek all the way to london / birmingham and face long queues and chaos and delays. The lounge is also excellent, you can use it for £20 if you have revolut or free if you have an amex, you get a wide range of free hot food and drinks and you get to even board from the lounge, making it feel like you are boarding a private jet... The only downside is of course the flight fares, as airlines cant really take advantage of economies of scale , you have to pay a minimum fee of 80 pounds per person to take a flight to amsterdam ,compared to london or birmingham or manchester where it often is as low as £30-40... so if you have a family it adds up. side note : you'll be shocked at how many people will be commuting to humberside from all over the world on your flight, including canada , argentina, usa, australia etc. It really makes you think...

Great little airport. Ideal for us visiting friends and family in Lincolnshire without having to slog up and down the motorways. Limited flights but for us we use the KLM City hopper to and from Schipol

Staff was friendly when I visited and parking was right outside the front doors. Check-in and security went smoothly and the waiting area by the 2 gates doesn't really have sockets for charging if needed (just FYI).
