Golf course
Nestled near the stunning coastline of Marbella on the Costa del Sol, Real Club de Golf Guadalmina is a golfer's paradise that boasts two exceptional 18-hole courses: the South Course and the North Course. Established in 1959, this historic club is one of the oldest in the region and offers a unique blend of challenging play and breathtaking scenery.
A Culinary Oasis for Celebrations Nestled within the stunning Real Club de Golf Guadalmina, our recent family and friends gathering was nothing short of exceptional. The ambiance exuded warmth and elegance, setting the perfect backdrop for a night of celebration. The culinary journey began with a symphony of fresh, succulent seafood, each dish expertly prepared and bursting with flavor. From delicate fish to the most tender of prawns, every bite was a testament to the chef's expertise and passion for quality. For the meat lovers among us, the steak was a revelation. Cooked to perfection, it melted in the mouth, leaving behind a lingering taste of savory goodness that was simply unforgettable. The impeccable service and attention to detail throughout the evening elevated the entire experience, making us feel truly valued and cared for. If you seek an enchanting setting for a special occasion, paired with outstanding cuisine and service, Real Club de Golf Guadalmina is the ultimate destination. Our night was one to remember, and we eagerly anticipate our return.

Nice facilities but Very unwelcoming Mr. Jorge , to the limit of arrogance and impoliteness
Antoine D — Google review
Played Guadalmina Sur. 571 € for 3 green fees and 2 buggies. Facilities are alright but clubhouse is not great, practice area limited to 220/230m and in all honesty, for the price we paid (almost 200€ per person) we could play the best course in 90% of other countries. I am disappointed as it was nothing spectacular, course has a very average layout except for 1 1/2 holes on the sea which are pretty cool - not great at all neither. Lastly, do yourself a favor and go spend that money on a dinner with your loved ones or pick a real proper course. I have played over 20+ courses in Costa del Sol including San Roque (old) and Alcaidesa Links + many other top courses and this course is probably worth around 70/80€ max. We felt robbed after the round. Course conditions - 6/10.
Sébastien D — Google review
Friendly place with 2 * 18 holes, well manicured golf course quite flat so easy to walk if you want some more exercise. As an added bonus they have an more than excellent restaurant which is frequented not only by members and greenfee players but also non golfers, fair prices and a very active club with family memberships.
Gus G — Google review
Very nice and clean highly recommend for family and kids of any age very peaceful A class staff and facilties pool spa on the beach

Basílica Paleocristiana de Vega del Mar

Mentioned on
4 lists
Historical landmark
Church
When exploring the cultural heritage of Marbella, don't miss out on a visit to Basílica Paleocristiana de Vega del Mar. This ancient site bears witness to the Roman occupation of the area and offers a glimpse into the region's rich history. The remnants of this civilization, such as the Roman baths and a watchtower known as Torre almenara de Bovedas, provide substantial evidence of their presence in the past.
Ruins of a church dating back to the 5th century, are located near the beach, it one of three historic ruins worth seeing in the area. Be sure to take note of the baptism immersion bath.
V H — Google review
Well protected and enclosed but needs some TLC to show it at its best. Set back from the sea, well worth a visit but check the opening times.
Jim W — Google review
Opening hours are a joke. One person attends to Roman baths and this place.
Dzik C — Google review
A very interesting site not to be missed. Most importantly though, the archeologist and carer of the site, Jose, was very helpful and was happy to answer some questions in regards to the area which made my visit even more pleasant. Free entrance but, admittedly, the opening hours are limited so check them out before coming here.
Constandinos V — Google review
It is worth visiting! Muchas gracias the guide Jose! We got nice information about the place from him🌺
Zeynep J — Google review
Lol, I don't agree with rating archaeological sites, it's bizarre! They would all get top marks if it were up to me as they are a legacy worth preservation. This site has been cleared and had a viewing deck added. The caretaker and guide is extremely knowledgeable and was kept busy showing around us and other visitors.
Ever L — Google review
The site was a regular interesting historical/religious site but the guide in there worked with passion and explained a lot without being intrusive!

Specialty Museums
Nestled in Marbella, the Museo Ralli is a captivating destination for art enthusiasts. As part of the esteemed Ralli Museum network, it stands out as the only European branch. Founded by Harry Recanati, this museum showcases an impressive collection of contemporary Latin American and European art.
Amazing museum, with works of Dali, Miro, Bacon, Moor, Chagall and many South American artists. Definitely worth a visit and it’s free! We recommend! ❤️
Natasha K — Google review
What a delightful morning! Visiting the Museum Ralli was a high point in appreciation for Marabella. I really enjoyed the artists and the art shown during this time period. Items include everything from heavey sculptures to delicate coins. Beautiful works of art.
Betsy Y — Google review
Title: A Hidden Gem in Marbella Review: The Ralli Museum is a true treasure — calm, elegant, and inspiring. Admission is free, yet the quality of the collection rivals major art institutions. The mix of Latin American contemporary art and European masters is beautifully curated, with spacious galleries that allow you to enjoy each piece without crowds or noise. The building itself is spotless and modern, with natural light that enhances the art. A visit here is both relaxing and enriching — an absolute must when in Marbella.
Digital H — Google review
Surprisingly good. Salvador Dali works, Bacon, Chagall and a lot of other interesting wide spectrum of Art. Free entrance 10.00-15.00 also Saturdays. Worth a visit🤗👍
Minna N — Google review
Excellent museum with a very interesting Latin American collection, plus some Salvador Dali sculptures and Joan Miro paintings, among other European artists. And it's free to the public.
J H — Google review
Lovely place and welcoming. I came when it was raining, so it was the perfect thing to do when the weather wasn't so great. Welcoming staff. Three floors. Downstairs was fantastic, and the first floor. Interesting exhibits and worth visiting. They even told me that photography is allowed without flash, which is good because I like to take pictures for a review. Free WiFi as well, which is helpful. I would recommend they add some contactless points for any donations or a box. As I would defo donate. Well maintained and not too many people inside, which makes the experience a very pleasant one.
Kunaal T — Google review
This is a private collection (including mementos such as medals) more than a collection of museum-worthy pieces. The vest majority of the pieces by European masters, from de Chirico to Dalì to Miró to Bacon, are lithographs or other multiples, as correctly identified in the labels (number n from an edition of 32, or 50, or whatever). The Latin American collection may be of more interest to genre enthusiasts, although I was not impressed with the quality of the work on display at the time I visited. A quick visit takes no more than 20-30 minutes - a nice distraction from the beach
Paola B — Google review
I believe this museum is a bit underrated. Sure there are not so many famous paintings of very famous painters, but the place is really nice, quiet and relaxing. If you're lucky you'll find yourself all alone wondering around the rooms and having the possibility to admire the art work in a peaceful moment. The collection is about contemporary art and some of the pieces are really stunning. And also, it's free. Totally worth a visit if in Marbella.

Playa de San Pedro de Alcántara

Mentioned on

Outdoor Activities
Playa de San Pedro de Alcántara is a coastal gem known for its clear waters, golden sands, and family-friendly atmosphere. The area is undergoing development, making it an attractive prospect for investment. Its proximity to the charming town of San Pedro de Alcántara adds to its allure, offering a traditional Andalusian charm just outside the bustling Marbella.
A lovely beach front, with an excellent for walking promanade running along the beachfront, we love the addition of palm trees and vegetation scattered along the waterfront.
V H — Google review
This beach is not okay because the shores are very big and I can't swim and this is uncomfortable. The sand won't remove it by shaking it and I need the water to get it. There's no beach defense to stay calm the sea. And there are many rocks which makes the beach uncomfortable. This beach is bad and I recommend that this beach is not okay for kids because if they are too close to the water they can be life at risk.
Trevor ( — Google review
Meh, nothing special. The beach front is nice though with a lot of restaurants and bars
Rodrigo C — Google review
Beautiful beach with a family-friendly and safe atmosphere. Perfectly located near all kinds of amenities, including great restaurants, beach bars, and the NAC Padel Club. Ideal place to relax and enjoy the best of San Pedro de Alcántara.
Luisa P — Google review
Nice walk by the sea side, here you find cafes restaurants, yoga classes CrossFit outdoors gym and a lot of other activities parking is amazing
Kenneth E — Google review
A mediocre beach for bathing and swimming, as it has many stones on the shore and in the water. There have been many attempts to improve the ecosystem by adding sand from other places, but the sea, unfortunately, continues to swallow the sand without stopping. It includes a promenade ideal for walking or cycling, a grass area to lie down and relax, and even a barbecue area, an exercise area and (before, no longer) a toy library.
Akim J — Google review
Convenient beach with nice promenade close to San Pedro especially if you look for peace and quiet, cleanliness, yet close to lots of amenities. 1. It's a long stretched low density beach. i.e. not too crowded, plenty of space for you to find a good spot, 2. Very peaceful and tranquil ! 3. Very clean waters. BUT there are plenty of pebbles which is perhaps the only negative. 4. Long, stylish and well looked after promenade lined with beautiful and manicured subtropical gardens, clean toilets, ample little kiosks, not too many chiringuitos and no dog excrements. Its really a joy to stroll on this promenade. A top class restaurant at the end of the promenade towards the East side. 5. Good views of the bay towards Puerto Banus. La Concha Peak as a backdrop. Silhouette of Gibraltar nicely visible towards the West. 6. Very easy and safe parking. Definitely a place in the top 10 for me.
Frank N — Google review
Amazing views of Puerto Banus and Marbella shores, the park surrounding this beach is simply amazing, very well kept. Activities available for all ages and tastes, quite a few good restaurants around. Several festivals take place here every year.

Costajump Marbella

Amusement center
Water & Amusement Parks
CostaJump Marbella, with locations in San Pedro and Estepona, offers a spacious warehouse filled with large trampolines. While there may not be a wide variety of trampolines, the facility is quite expansive and not overly crowded. It's reasonably priced and even has tables on the top floor for hosting parties. The venue operates on an hourly basis, so it's important to time your visit accordingly to make the most of your experience.
A great activity for kids of all ages. Both my 12 year old and 3 year old are able to enjoy it. The set up with the cafeteria upstairs is perfect, I get to watch them while I relax. Staff are very friendly and helpful. We have also had a couple of birthday party invitations which were great fun. Definitely recommend this if you’re looking to burn some of the kids’ infinite energy!
Casey T — Google review
We were at Costajump with my 5 year old daughter and it was a great choice! She was happy to jump, run and have fun, spending a lot of energy. The atmosphere in the park is wonderful, everything is clean and safe, the staff is friendly. My daughter liked it so much that she came home tired but happy, and I was finally able to rest a little. A great place for active recreation with children, we will definitely come back again!
Maximka — Google review
Great activity for when the sun is hiding. Clean space, plenty of room & a small amount of food and drink options in their cafe.
Benny F — Google review
Always a fantastic place to take your kids for excersise and play dates. Lovely space for kids and moms. Birthdays also great here!!! Highly recommend 👌🏼
Michelle P — Google review
Pretty good fun for kids. Not the most variety of trampolines. It's pretty big though and not too busy. Reasonably priced and has tables on top floor for people to host parties etc. They operate on hourly basis, so just beware if you arrive after or before the hour mark, you either get less time or have to wait.
Mat H — Google review
Very clean and fun 🤩 kids loved it 😍 €13 each for an hour good value
Tom A — Google review
Great place for the kids to have fun. Food needs more choices though.

Great park, very spacious and big. A lot of places to run and play, spaces for grilling, pool with ducks and 2 playgrounds for the kids.
Mariusz — Google review
Grattitude to the ajuntament/council for providing a beautiful green space free of charge in a built up area. Typical of Spain....sorry...but true...there is rubbish basura dotted around the beautiful greenery. However, it is a spacious and beautiful park with 2 toilet blocks and a cafe...can't comment on cafe because didn't use but toilets clean The park is open from 8.00am-11.30pm....may close earlier in winter. There are various exit/entrances...possibly 3? There is a specific fenced area to exercise dogs with a water tap. There is a sign at one entrance...the nearest one to park large vehicles, that says no dogs...but ok to walk through on lead/leash to the dog park area, however, upon doing so, and also wanting to use toilets for myself ( obviously I'm not going to leave my dog in the dog area alone) I was shouted at by a council worker. He preceded to tell me...whilst eating his sandwiches on a picnic bench...and not attending to the rubbish amongst the plants.....that the police would be called because I walk my dog through the park. I tried to explain I was going to the toilets, and also because I had a larger vehicle, that my vehicle was parked on the other side of the park....but he just continued to talk over me...I explain that I have bolsitas in case of my dog not being able to wait...but he no listen. Also let it be noted...to arrive at the nearest gate to the dog park area...you must walk through lots of traffic and possibly a road bridge...if your dog is afraid of traffic...it is not the best way. Ok...my review should be about the park....so I say with grattitude the park is good, it has areas for barbecues and lots of area for children to play, also play equipment and there is a pond with tortuga and ducks. I reccomend the park...but be careful if you have your dog, because of the nasty peson who does not get paid more for harassment, but still do.
Christophe B — Google review
A very nice park in the industrial area of San Pedro de Alcantara. Plenty of installations for kids to play, beautiful nature all around, views of La Concha peak and also tables to have picnic and small celebrations.

Beautiful place. Took my dogs to the dog park, which was closed. But the other walking area was beautiful.

Tony S — Google review
Really nice big park. Great playgrounds, it’s clean and have places for barbecue. I had to edit my review after being there on a sunday where loads of people were using the barbecues and it was smoke everywhere and too much people.
Trusted G — Google review
Absolutely lovely. A great mix of shaded, sunny areas for kids to play. There is a playground with equipment that works for 2 year olds and 7 year olds - and a cycling path too. Toilets are not great though. Get your own gear and don't think of changing your babies there.

El Candil de San Pedro is a renowned bodega in the San Pedro area, known for its famous tortilla de patatas and a variety of delicious dishes such as ensaladilla rusa, solomillo al Jerez, alcachofas con jamon, rabo de toro, and pisto. The cozy restaurant offers an animated and lively atmosphere where visitors can enjoy tapas and spend quality time with the owners Alfonso Lorente and Maria del Carmen Huray.
We had the best time! Alfonso is the best waiter I’ve encountered in a long time; kind, genuine, and attentive. He helped us choose our food and wine and was incredibly responsive to anything we needed, ensuring our requests were met within seconds. The restaurant is clean, and the food is excellent. I can assure you that you’ll have a wonderful experience and enjoy great food!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ One of those places where you immediately feel the warmth of home cooking and a true love for food. El Candil de San Pedro wins you over with both its flavors and atmosphere — everything was perfect from the first bite to the last sip of wine. Bravo to the entire team! 👏

Best Tapas bar in San Pedro - been coming to spain for years and been all over San Pedro, this place in a hidden gem. Amazing food, great selection of wine and run by lovely people. Reasonable too. Not to be missed!!!
Jack — Google review
Amazing tapas restaurant. Food was great and the staff were super friendly and service minded. The owner even came and suggested to put together a selection of dishes for us - saying yes to that was a good decision. And of course limoncello on the house. Great value for this area.
Agnes H — Google review
We had not made a reservation but was made welcome and given a table for 2. The food exceeded expectation, the service excellent. Truly a hidden gem.
M K — Google review
Lovely service from the restaurant, food was brilliant. Tortilla was excellent ! Highly recommended
Kim C — Google review
We were extremely satisfied with everything we ate. Alfonso is an incredibly attentive host. I recommend the artichoke and tomato salad. The service was excellent—we never even felt the need to ask for anything. Everything was wonderful!
Bengisu U — Google review
We picked the most busiest day of the week to visit - Saturday, thus neglected by waitress occupied with servicing locals. Not the tapas we were used to, each dish came alone and way too much time between each dish. Local drunk 'Elvis look-alike' destroyed the atmosphere that could have been great. The tab contained one extra bottle of wine we didn't drink.

Restaurante Albert y Simon

Mentioned on

French restaurant
Restaurante Albert y Simon is a long-standing favorite in Marbella, known for its splendid meals and excellent service. The restaurant is renowned for its classic French and Italian cuisine, but it's the indigenous Spanish dishes that steal the show. The establishment offers a creative yet traditional menu curated by the well-known chef Albert, who sadly passed away recently. However, his brother Simon continues to maintain the high standards of this highly recommended eatery.
It’s in my list to visit this year. Excellent experience by all means. Food quality and taste is excellent. Service is very nice. The seating area is small but well used to provide enough room for all visitors. I was invited and could not take photos but the food presentation is amazing. The goat cheese with honey is a kill for those who love the goat cheese. Fish is also good with good variety of food in the menu.
Eng. A — Google review
The restaurant service was very slow although there were a few tables. The starter was delicious. The sea bass in the fixed menu was tasteless but the sea bass in the a la card menu tasted better. The fillet tasted delicious. The desert from the fixed menu was small in portion and had a very small amount of berries plus the ice cream was melted. The location of the restaurant is not nice ( on a road ). The price was average.
ASHRAF Q — Google review
Lovely place! Very comfy and cosy atmosphere! Great staff. Good food. Creative touches to regular Spannish ingredients - something you miss in regular restaurants around with almost copy pasted menus. :) Highly recommended!

DELICIOUS SCALLOPS! The best I’ve tasted in Spain infact. The menu is fantastic and I can honestly say I’ve never had a bad meal here. The food is just full of flavour and the cheese soufflé is grate (not very mature I know but a Brie-lient pun!) The restaurant has a stylish interior and also a nice terrace to eat on. Really lovely and professional staff. Highly recommend- one of my top 5 restaurants on the Coast

Nice restaurant, salmon tartar and scallops were tasty ,service a bit slow we waited 15 min for a wine menu ,I don’t know why all the guests in the restaurant were over 70 years old ) In the end when we paid the bill we ordered 2 more glasses of wine and they brought a bill for 4 glasses!and did not even apologize,so be careful check your bill (

Probably the best place we have ever eaten, especially considering the price. Would be surprised if it doesn't get noticed by Michelin at some point and just hope that doesn't spoil it. Great food with lots of attention and creativity given to both the balance of tastes and presentation. Excellent wine selection too and all served by friendly staff in a relaxed and elegant setting. They were very attentive and always at the ready to top up a glass or react to any requests without making us feel that we were being bugged or our space/privacy invaded.

Déjate Llevar is a fantastic haven for families looking to unwind while their little ones have a blast! Nestled in the heart of San Pedro boulevard, it boasts ample parking and an impressive play area filled with bouncy castles, scooters, trikes, and even a race track. Parents can enjoy delicious meals at great prices while kids explore the safe, fenced play zone. The atmosphere is vibrant yet cozy, making it ideal for both casual lunches and lively evenings.
Loved being there for drinks and lunch on Sunday - the food was a surprise. Really tasty and beautiful presentation. The service was so friendly! Chef Larbi and Chef Amalia should be congratulated!! Well done.! Very enjoyable. And plenty of space and play area for children. Thanks Jose and Maria a great atmosphere.

We had a great afternoon! Friendly service and a tasty pil pil whilst the kids can play (all day for 5 euros) on various activities. Would definitely recommend and we will probably go back even without the kids !
Tim L — Google review
I came to this café in the evening. It was full of people, very lively. There’s a huge kids’ area with three large trampolines, bouncy castles, bikes, and toy cars — endless options for children to play. The whole zone is fenced, so kids are safe while you sit and enjoy your dinner in peace. I had been here once before for a children’s birthday party, and today I returned just to relax. The atmosphere is calm, cozy, and well-organized. But the most important thing — the kids are happy, playing freely and safely. That’s exactly what parents need.
Maximka — Google review
Love this place! You can relax and chat while the kids play in the playing area, where they have jumping castles and F1 track with bicycle sports cars. The food is really good as well. It's the perfect spot to hang out, also dog friendly 🐶 100% recommend this place !

The playground costs 6,- per hour, even for drinking guests. You can use it for free only if you eat something, but they don’t offer a single vegetarian option. Just use the wonderful playgrounds nearby, they are well maintained and for free.

Nestled along the stunning Mediterranean coastline, Marisquería El Ancla is a delightful beach club restaurant that invites you to savor the essence of Andalusian seafood. With its inviting terrace offering breathtaking sea views, it’s an ideal spot for a leisurely meal with loved ones. The menu showcases a variety of fresh marine delicacies, including mouthwatering grilled sardine skewers and succulent anchovies marinated in vinegar.
Great food, the wine selection is great and the atmosphere is perfect. Can’t wait to come back

One of my favorite restaurants in the area, food is simple and fresh as I have always enjoyed, but price is higher and higher each year, specially after Covid 🥶 The Lobster Salad is no longer on the menu, though still can ask for it, but price is €45 per potion now, and seems only 2/3 of quantity as before?
B B — Google review
Fantastic views and lovely place but food was extremely overpriced as I ordered a €18 meal and got very small portion with raw chips. The servers didn’t really seem they wanted to work here and were very dead with emotion. If ur in the area I wouldn’t come here unless ur specifically looking for a scenic view.
Evan B — Google review
We visited the restaurant specifically for its acclaimed dining experience but were disappointed. Given the high prices and reputed standard, we expected quality kitchen utensils. Instead, I was appalled to find my rice stew served in a pot with Teflon lining so severely scratched that the metal was visible underneath. This is incredibly toxic (releasing forever chemicals in the food, known to cause cancer and other issues), and such negligence makes me question the overall care within the kitchen. I hope one day they invest in non-toxic cookware. This being said the food was good and the view is beautiful.
Johara B — Google review
Unfortunately, me and my family have never, ever eaten this bad at a restaurant before. Charging €24 for a few tomatoes with plain canned tuna and serving a €99 lobster that was overcooked and cold is a crime. Also, the term hospitality does not even exist at this restaurant. The building itself has not been taken care off at all. Considering the price we paid (almost €500 without dessert and no bottle of wine) it is an absolute waist of money and it ruins the complete atmosphere and vibe of the evening. A complete disappointment and what a waist of our evening on holiday. So, I would definitely not recommend.
Sofie G — Google review
“My recent visit to this restaurant was quite disappointing. Despite having a reservation, the waiter initially told us that all tables were booked and refused to seat us. However, after we finished our meal, we noticed that many tables remained empty. On top of that, the service was extremely poor, and the staff were rude, which made the experience very unpleasant. I hope they can improve in the future.”

Absolutely loved it! Great seafood, friendly staff, and a beautiful location right by the sea. Everything we tried was delicious, especially the grilled fish. Can’t wait to come back!
Luisa P — Google review
We came for the pool bar menu with our sunbeds, which online (and over the phone 3 days prior) promises sushi and fried fish, however on arrival we were informed they weren’t doing it, which leaves you very limited on choice for food by the pool. So we went to the restaurant at 1:50pm, where we were told they were fully booked unless we took the back corner table by the kitchen. I do still think this could only be because we had a young child, since throughout our seating there were between 10 - 4+ better tables available even by the end of our meal. It was very disappointing, particularly since front of house lady said something along the lines of “you should be grateful we’re seating you at all”, and the man she brought over as the “manager” spoke to me in English then later said to my husband he doesn’t speak English, and then said he wasn’t the manager...(man with sides shaved) All in all, such a poor experience, except the food, which was great, and one waiter called Santi who was fabulous. Thank you to him! Do not believe what is on the website. It’s not updated and frankly the staff (in general) don’t care. They also have a kids pool, which is great, but I’m shocked they don’t have any cover over it? It’s also a beach club but half the time the music isn’t even playing. We used to love it here, such a shame.

La Bodega del Cantinero, also known as Casa Alberto, has been serving up seasonal cuisine with a focus on fresh, quality ingredients for over five years. The menu features a variety of dishes including specialties like pulpo a la parmentier and revuelto de erizos de mar. In addition to traditional tapas, the restaurant offers innovative creations and an extensive wine selection to complement their Mediterranean-themed dishes.
Amazing place to dine! Everything was just perfect with a very friendly and professional staff that gives the best atmosphere and excellent food that you can just feel the local culture, the use of the best ingredients and the touch of a professional and loving hand. We ate seafood paella and octopus and can't wait to go back to eat them again and try more dishes.

Super delicious!! We have selected from today's recommendations mostly and that was a right choice. Super fresh seafood, oyster was so sweet and buttery, surprised how delicious were clams, sweet asparagus and tender octopus dishes with perfect seasoning. Beautiful flamenco show was also great touch for our vacation. great service, great price for the quality. Highly recommended!! We will be back for sure.

This warming, hearty, unpretentious yet ambitious kitchen had become one of our favourite places in Marbella. Everything is fresh and cooked to perfection. Starters are always divine (this time was baby clams and white prawns and last time was porcini mushrooms) and I had the best Dover Sole (a la Meunière) in my life. Services was super personal and kids-friendly, my daughter drew pictures for them as a thank you. Cannot recommended more, but please book before you go as they seems very popular already.

Great Paella 🥘! We visited La Bodega del Cantinero, as we wanted the best restaurant in the San Pedro area for Paella. It did not disappoint, it was excellent! We were a party of 4, 2 persons had seafood paella and the other 2 had chicken paella. Both were excellent!!! We also had some amazing Lomo ham, croquetta and other tapas dishes. An excellent spot for a Sunday lunch, a little bit hidden away from the main street. Would definitely recommend!

Best dinner place in Marbella area! The homemade paella were amazing! Tasteful and so rich in flavors. It takes 40-50 minutes so order straight away and then enjoy some carpaccio and croquettes as starters in the meantime.

Great place to have a drink with friends. It's small so feels cozy and intimate, and if it gets too stuffy you still have the outside terrace. The staff is very friendly and what's makes you feel welcome. They also serve food which is of much higher quality than you'd expect from a bar in San Pedro. More than worth a visit

Very good restaurant in San Pedro. The food is delicious — our party of 8 had several starters, all of which measured up to and surpassed the top restaurants in Marbella. We all had the Robespierre, which was outstanding. The service was uneven, usually good but some times lackadaisical. The restaurant is very nice although it was extremely warm for an air conditioned restaurant.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this fantastic Italian restaurant located in San Pedro, and I have to say that it was an experience I won't soon forget. From the moment I walked through the door, I was impressed by the cleanliness and overall ambiance of the establishment. The staff was incredibly welcoming and friendly, and they made sure that my every need was taken care of throughout the entire meal. The menu offered a great selection of traditional Italian dishes, and everything that I tried was cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. The ingredients were fresh and of the highest quality, which really made a difference in the taste and overall enjoyment of the meal. The atmosphere of the restaurant was also top-notch. The decor was charming and inviting, and it made me feel like I was dining in a cozy little Italian bistro. The lighting was just right, and the music that was playing in the background was the perfect accompaniment to the delicious food. Overall, I would highly recommend this Italian restaurant to anyone looking for a great meal in a clean and welcoming environment. The food, service, and atmosphere are all top-notch, and I can't wait to come back and try more of the amazing dishes that they have to offer.

Update June 2022: When it comes to the Food, Trattoria L'Impronta still is the best Italian Fine Dining restaurant in the Marbella area (Davero is number 2). Friendly waiters and Fabulous value. Date night example: 2x Pasta dish and 1 bottle of 94 points Italian Chianti Riserva = €75. There is one thing that could improve and that is that none of the service speaks decent english, which leads to many misunderstandings that easily could be avoided Original 2018: I rarely hand out a 5 star rating on the Costa del Sol. Everything has to be top notch with a price tag presenting 'good value'. This establishment holds, in my humble opinion, the title 'best Italian'. Make sure you leave room for dessert.

What a fabulous experience. Visited Alfredo on a trip recently and this was our favourite restaurant from the trip. The food was exceptional. Atmosphere was great. But the staff made it. So helpful and friendly. When we were finished eating, we were offered a drink on the house and I asked if I could have a glass of the wine I had had with dinner. This meant them having to open a fresh bottle, which they did without hesitation. They could have offered an alternative but they didn't. Fantastic customer service and we left very happy. We will go back any time we get the opportunity. Well done Alfredos!

It is so sad to give da bruno this rating as their food is very delicious and the reservation process was very smooth. However, we were shocked with the attitude of the waiter (an old man whom I noticed other reviewers also addressed that). Airport
Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport serves as a gateway to the wonders of Andalucia, offering easy access to popular destinations like Marbella and Malaga city. The region boasts a mix of modern attractions and rich cultural heritage, with options ranging from trendy vegan eateries and unique boutiques to ancient Moorish palaces and traditional markets.
Airport has air conditioning so waiting inside is very comfortable. Toilets are clean and in good shape. There are a lot of seats so you can find space to wait for the plane. The amount of restaurants and shops is sufficient so you can can buy whether you need to eat or drink. In addition you can find Spanish and local souvenirs. The security control is smooth and quick but more demanding than on Chopin Airport.
Paweł J — Google review
Ah, Málaga Airport — my beloved hometown gateway. A sun-drenched portal to Andalusian bliss… or rather, a deeply frustrating paradox: modern on the outside, maddening on the inside. Let’s start with passport control, the crown jewel of inefficiency. Welcome to the chaos: endless queues, overheated tempers, and a tragic ballet of underutilisation. Yes, those automated passport gates — you’ve probably walked past them — are real. They’ve been standing silently in corners for over a decade like forgotten IKEA furniture, never switched on, never removed, just there… gathering dust and existential resentment. A poignant metaphor for wasted potential, really. Fortunately, I can slip through the crew channel like a shadowy VIP — but for the average traveller? It’s purgatory with fluorescent lighting. Tense officers doing the job of ten, facing an avalanche of sweaty tourists while the airport’s actual infrastructure lounges in a coma. And then, the moving walkways — or rather, the non-moving walkways. Ah yes, those graceful steel carpets designed to spare passengers a long trek through endless terminal corridors. Except they’ve been out of service since the Jurassic. Perhaps they’re on a break? A decade-long sabbatical? Or maybe they’re protesting the conditions too — I wouldn’t blame them. It’s astonishing. Málaga Airport has all the bones of a top-tier European hub: sleek architecture, prime geographic position, year-round demand. But it’s run like a pop-up tent at a beach festival — the difference being, a tent might at least offer shade and a smile. What’s truly sad is that this airport could be magnificent. It should be. Instead, we have a gleaming façade disguising a logistical mess, where passenger experience is clearly the lowest priority, and the only ones holding things together are overworked, underappreciated border police who bear the brunt of managerial indifference. I say all this not out of disdain, but out of love — because this airport deserves so much better. As do its passengers. Is anybody reading this? C’mon, guys, wake up!
Dr M — Google review
A truly excellent airport: very clean, well-organized, and with friendly staff. Getting around inside is easy and pleasant. I especially appreciated the water fountains available throughout the terminal. Food prices are affordable, and the airport also offers several entertaining facilities. A wonderful experience—this airport really made my trip exceptional.
Nabil R — Google review
Málaga is one of those places that has left a mark with me and my wife. We enjoyed the hospitality, climate, food and location. There's plenty to do whether for friends of nature, culture or culinary. I just stayed for a long weekend, but we have decided to come back and stay for a week, to enjoy the beaches and leisure activities. Thanks to the city and its people for making our stay so enjoyable 🫶🏼
Guido P — Google review
It’s a forever growing airport angle feels like it takes forever to get through security ; but to be honest when you look at the timings it’s usually around the 30 minutes. Really quick Lounge is also upgrading and the bar and food areas are much more accessible Plenty of seating too
Chris L — Google review
Drinkable water from a water fountain is available once through security. There is one fountain that I found by gate c34 as pictured below. (I believe there are more though) I must admit as others have mentioned it isn’t the greatest tasting water but it states its drinkable so thats something at least. Note: Still as of end of October 2025 you cannot take bottles with liquids through security even though they are supposed to have installed better x-ray machines by “2025”….whenever that actually means exactly? The airport itself is very nice and very modern.
Paul S — Google review
Málaga Airport - sunny, lively, and just chaotic enough to remind you you’re in Spain. The views are great, the vibe is relaxed, and you can practically smell the vacation in the air. One star off only because your gate will always be the one farthest away. Still - four solid stars and a ¡bienvenidos!
J.F. S — Google review
We recently spent 10 days exploring southern Spain during the Easter holidays with our children, and Málaga-Costa del Sol Airport was a fantastic introduction—and farewell—to the region. As a family traveller, I look for efficiency, cleanliness, and clarity in an airport. Málaga Airport delivered all of that and more. Despite the busy holiday season, everything from passport control to baggage claim was incredibly smooth. We were off the plane and through arrivals in under 30 minutes, which felt like a minor miracle with kids in tow! The airport is modern, well-signposted, and surprisingly spacious. Clean washrooms, plentiful seating, and helpful information desks made navigating with children much less stressful. Staff members were courteous and spoke good English, which made things much easier for international travellers. What really stood out to me was how well-organised the transport connections were. Whether you’re picking up a rental car, catching a train, or hopping on a shuttle, the signage is clear and walking distances are short—especially important when you’re hauling luggage and trying to keep young kids happy. On our departure day, check-in was quick, security moved briskly, and we found plenty of dining options past security—including child-friendly choices. The airport lounge areas also had great runway views, which kept the little ones entertained while we waited to board. All in all, Málaga Airport was a pleasant surprise and set a positive tone for our Andalusian adventure. It’s efficient without being overwhelming, and clean without being clinical. For families flying into southern Spain, this airport is a perfect gateway.
