This picturesque location is not only popular for fishing and boating but also offers stunning views of the river and the adjacent Chambal Garden. There is no entry fee for this location but this is one of the favourite spot for sunset view and pigeon feeding. Built next to Kota Garh palace on the bank of Chambal river. You can witness mesmerising sunset from here, can feed pigeons and you are lucky enough you can witness otters as well. The best time to visit is morning or evening.
Mayuri T — Google review
Kota barrage was Most Visiting place about 2014 but now this place looks abandoned as River Front of KOTA is Taking Place. I have Many Memories with this place. Before Second Bridge made which connected the Sakatpura area with the City, it was very Busy Site, Some times Traffic JAM used to be There. Now Total Silence with NO Person There !
Mathskart C — Google review
Nostalgic place. There are several pigeons, chambal water dam. It's scary and beautiful at the same time. The bridge/dam is not in good condition, as this structure is decades old, without maintenance and not getting repair from years, you can imagine the condition. Visiting this place from 3 decades. Now this road is closed for Vehicles, recently we went for walk on that bridge during the foggiest day of 2023 winter season, the experience was awesome.

Kota Barrage is one of the four types of things built on the Chambal River, which is at number four. The tax on Chambal River is closed, first is Gandhi Sagar Dam, second is Rana Pratap Sagar Dam, third is Jawahar Sagar Dam and number four is Kota Barrage.Kota Barrage is built near Chambal River Front. Due to this, drinking water facility and irrigation facility is provided to the people of Kota. There is a thermal power plant near it where electricity is generated from coal.Pigeons and fish are fed here in the morning and evening at Kota Barrage, which is the center of attraction here.
Raj N — Google review
It feels like it hasn't seen any maintenance in a decade, the place is infested with pegions and addicts, the riverbanks are flooded with garbage, the barrage structure is littered with pegion beat, there is not even a dustbin to throw trash.
Krishna C — Google review
Look amazing in evening during sunset. They even open dam gates which is satisfying to watch. Lots of fishes you can feed them, even so much pigeon 🐦.

Very beautiful peaceful spot right in the middle of the city. It’s especially beautiful during sunset — the way the light reflects off the water is really calming. The area around the lake is great for a quiet walk. It’s not overly commercialized, so you can truly relax and enjoy the view.
Himanshi P — Google review
Permanent hangout spot for beautiful lake view along with pretty sunset. One could witness natural beauty while sitting here in peace. This place is even more serene in winter mornings while sipping a cup of chai watching sunrise. The place is well maintained though being a public place along with a communication road passing through it. Cleanliness could be improved by the authorities.

St J — Google review
I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Garh Palace of Kota, an exquisite heritage site that truly captures the grandeur of Rajasthan’s royal legacy. The palace’s intricate architecture and lush gardens come alive in the rainy season and during winter. Visiting on Dussehra, a public holiday, adds a festive charm. It’s a must-visit for anyone who loves history and elegance!
Ishan S — Google review
Garh Palace is a historic and fortified royal residence located centrally in Kota. It served as the home for the Raos and Maharaos of the region, with original foundations dating back to 1264 CE . The palace’s exterior strikes you with its stark white lime finish—a fort-like structure that seems understated yet imposing . Heritage & Exhibits The ground floor houses the Rao Madho Singh Museum, which showcases an impressive collection of artifacts—ranging from weaponry, manuscripts, armor, to miniatures and murals, some dating as far back as the 13th century . Visitors also highlight the Hall of Mirrors and the Maharaja’s bedroom as standout sections of the palace . TripAdvisor reviewer notes that while not all sections are accessible to the public, the open areas are “well maintained, informative,” and offer scenic views—especially of the nearby riverside .
Yogesh J — Google review
The City Palace or Garh, known locally as the "Garh Palace" is a fortified palace located in the heart of Kota, Rajasthan. The palace of the royal family that has been converted into a museum. Entry fee is Rs 50 per person and Rs 100 for camera. The staff is rude and they keep nagging tourists. You can take pictures from your mobile phone only if you have tickets for camera. The exteriors of the palace look humble in a color combination of red and white. The interiors have collectibles from history, divided into various sections such as weapons, utensils, mirror work, embroidery work etc. If you are in Kota for few hours, this palace serves as a good way to occupy yourself. The palace overall is boring and the artefacts are displayed in low light. Nevertheless, Kota Palace is maintained better than Bundi fort. It is Very Peaceful And Natural beauty. U must visit at least one time.. You will Feel great. And if You Comes in Rainy season that is great its good clean and well maintained but again costly affair 100 rs per adult & parking also not free.. it is maintained by royal family itself . although it has many selfie points but it does not provide you look of a palace as original palace is converted into school.. you can visit.
NK M — Google review
This place holds history of Kota State close to 800 years and it has some real stuff from battlefields which you might not find in other palaces. The painting art carved in the walls and roof internally is super cool. The garh/fort/palace is not gigantic but holds so much of history to revisit. A certainly go to place for enthusiasts who want to walk down the memory lane. It also has a riverfront view.
Giriraj P — Google review
Amazing palace to see and rewind the history of India 🇮🇳
Nishit B — Google review
Museum is good to explore but the Garh has not nothing to see except the old craftsmanship. 50 rs museum ticket and 50 rs palace ticket. And 50 to take photos otherwise taking pictures is not allowed.
P!πcam — Google review
If you have seen other Palaces of Rajasthan like the City palace of Udaipur, Jodhpur Ummed palace etc then visiting this palace is a total waste of time.. Though in monsoon it may feel good visiting here because of the view from it's gallery where you see the Chambal river front.

★★★★☆ Chambal Garden is a lovely spot in Kota, right along the Chambal River. It’s well-maintained, with lush greenery, walking paths, and plenty of open space to relax or take an evening stroll. The suspension bridge over the gharial pond adds a fun touch, and there’s boating available too. There’s also a kids’ play area and a toy train that makes it great for families. It’s peaceful and scenic, especially during winter months. Just wish there were a few more food stalls or refreshment options inside. Still, a great place to unwind or hang out with friends and family.
HarLee — Google review
We didn't quite get to explore the garden area much, but we all had definitely a great time taking a motor-boat deep into the lake and had a great time. Spotted a few birds, and had a quiet evening with friends bantering and also enjoying the massive lake!

Aarav — Google review
It was quite a nice place to visit i guess. The behaviour of the staff members was respectful and cheerful. I mean i won't say they were jumping with joy when they saw a visitor(Who does that anyways). But yes, they weren't looking pissed or unwelcoming. Let's start from the ticketing window. There were two people in that tiny ticket room and they were quite helpful and well behaved. I bought the ticket and went inside the fort. Then a security personnel asked me for the ticket and tore it from the middle and gave me the other half portion of the ticket. There was one more person in the museum. Who was turning on the light to help the visitors see those beautiful paintings and other stuff related to the historical era. They clearly told me that I can't take videos or i need to get permission for that. Which i wasn't interested in anyways. So i was like "Nah I am cool." I won't take any videos. They have also installed a water cooler inside the fort. But I don't know if it was working or not. So no comments on that. It'll hardly take you an hour to explore the whole museum. So, if you like historical places. Then this fort can be your go to place. To be honest, i was just getting bored. So i thought i should explore this place and at Rs. 20 ticket price. This isn't a bad place.

A must visit if you are in Kota, great for young kids. Visited 7 Wonders Park after a while. Disappointed with the overall upkeep and housekeeping of this one of a kind tourist attraction in Kota. There is weed growing on Statue of Liberty and The Pyramid. The entire premises and the monuments are poorly lit. Didn't see enough security personnel in the park which is another big concern A humble request to the authorities to take action and restore the beauty and glory of this landmark

The Dal Bati combo is a must-try, and their Dal tadka, Paneer Kadhai & Kaju curry pair perfectly with laccha paratha or tawa roti. Despite being busy, the food is consistently excellent and reasonably priced.
Here the taste is always good and prices are very genuine. If you are visiting kota you must try their food although there is High rush when you visit here but their management is soo good you don't have to wait for much. They serve food quickly and that is also tasty. The ambiance is normal but its always full of customer for there taste and behaviour.

I had a wonderful experience here! The staff was extremely polite, attentive, and genuinely helpful. 1. They safely kept my luggage so I could enjoy my meal without worry. 2. They even asked me how spicy I’d like my food …a thoughtful touch! 3. Before leaving, they offered to refill my water bottle for the journey. 4. The food quality and portion size were both excellent — truly value for money. 5. Most importantly, the staff made me feel that they sincerely care about each customer.

Best option for the food from Amar Punjabi restaurant, if you are travelling through train and waiting for the next train at Kota station. Punjabi, non punjabi all varieties of food are available. You can pack it and eat at train. Their food taste is nice and heigene. Service is good, if you order the food then they share your food within 10 to 15 mins. Located - near to Kota railway station, walking distance from the station.

Day by Day Amar punjabi dhabha decreasing their quality of foods....today I have ordered Dal bati rajasthani thali, In this dal was too spicy and bati was not good, I think a stall infront of station small stall (Rehadi) give more good dal bati as compare to amar punjabi. Totally wasted of my 260₹. I recommend please avoid amar punjabi if you wants to save your money and health.

Royal Firdous Restaurant Since 1979(Aerodrome circle)

Mentioned on
3 lists
$$$$affordable
Non vegetarian restaurant
Royal Firdous Restaurant Since 1979(Aerodrome circle) has been a go-to spot for familiar North Indian cuisine in a simple setting for over four decades. The restaurant offers flexible hours, serving hot chicken lollipops from mid-morning until late at night every day of the week. Conveniently located near City Mall, it also provides quick delivery services.
I can’t help but miss Kota after moving away post coaching days. And one of the biggest reasons is Firdous. I still remember those Sunday nights, placing my order and waiting with so much excitement, just imagining how comforting and delightful the food would be. Those meals weren’t just food, they were memories that made Kota feel like home. If I ever get the chance to visit again, Firdous will be the very first place I’ll go.
Aditya C — Google review
If you are looking for best non-veg options in kota, Firdous got you. They serves the bst non-veg in the city. Price is also reasonable. Place maintains hygiene. Service may delay sometimes but food compensates that. Ambience is fine. Veg food is ok-ok. Note: They only allow family to dine on their 2nd floor restaurant, whereas first floor is for everyone. Writing my whole experience here👇 Royal Firdous Restaurant Since 1979, Aerodrome Circle, Kota: A Storied Non‑Veg Feast with Spicy Highs & Occasional Lows Rating: ★★★★☆ (4.0/5) Stepping into Royal Firdous at Aerodrome Circle, one immediately senses its legacy: decades of serving non‑vegetarian food in Kota. It has earned a reputation as one of the go‑to places for Mughlai, chicken, mutton and biryani lovers. Here’s a breakdown of the experience: taste, ambience, service and value. Taste of Food: ★★★★☆ If you’re here for non‑veg, Royal Firdous doesn’t disappoint. Their Chicken Tangdi starters are consistently praised for juicy, well‑marinated chicken with a good balance of smokiness and spice. The Chicken Changezi is another favourite—rich gravy, solid texture, often one of the high points. Mutton lovers have high expectations, and the Mutton Bhuna Masala is often called “strong and hearty” when the kitchen does it right. The Butter Chicken also gets loyalty: creamy, buttery, a mild sweetness with tang from tomatoes. Biryani gets lots of attention. Many reviews say the aroma is excellent, and flavors are well layered. However, a recurring critique is quantity: some feel that “full plates” don’t always live up to expectations for meat portion. Also, delivery or takeaway biryani sometimes loses heat or doesn’t have the same freshness. Vegetarian options are limited, and many note that if you come with vegetarian‑eaters, choices may feel sparse. But for non‑veg lovers, it’s a menu full of familiar and beloved classics. Ambience: ★★★☆☆ Royal Firdous has a certain charm rooted in its long history. The décor isn’t flashy but has a comforting, traditional non‑veg restaurant feel. Seating arrangements are decent; there are separate zones for families vs groups of friends, which helps. Many appreciate the cleanliness inside compared to some other local joints. Service: ★★★★☆ Staff behaviour is generally polite and welcoming. Many reviews mention gracious waiting staff, who help with menu suggestions and are attentive. On the flip side, there are complaints about delays during busy hours, especially for table service and refill requests. Some customers noted that online/takeaway orders suffer more: food arriving late, sometimes cold or portion of meat less than expected. Consistency seems to be a challenge: when the restaurant is packed, quality dips slightly, especially in terms of portion size or the strength of flavours. But overall, service earns respect for effort and sincerity. Value & Overall Observations Royal Firdous charges are on the higher side compared to small simple eateries; but most find that for non‑veg‑heavy dishes the price is justified—when quality, taste and portion all align. Meals for two, especially with starters + main + rice/roti, can add up, but many say it’s “worth it once in a while.” A few warnings: If ordering online or delivery, manage expectations around portion and temperature. Visit during non‑peak hours if you want more space, less noise, better experience. Try the starters first—they tend to be safer bets when food is otherwise inconsistent. Conclusion Royal Firdous Restaurant Since 1979 remains one of Kota’s landmarks for non‑vegetarian fare. It delivers strong taste, solid Mughlai classics, and enough variety to keep you exploring its menu. Though not perfect—periodic slips in portion size, service under pressure, and a noisy ambience at peak times hurt a bit—the positives are substantial. For non‑veg lovers and for group meals or dinners with friends, it’s well worth a visit. If I were scoring: 4.0 / 5.

I loved the Vibe,Firstly we order Starters i.e. chicken tangdi, which was very good, I think this was the best I had eaten till now, thn we moved ahead to Main courses, and ordered Chicken changezi, with that we ordered Roomali roti and butter naan, we took photos, and started eating, later we ordered rice too so that we can eat with our hands in a Desi style, which serving staff sir told that now you are gonna enjoy the real taste and we literally enjoyed !! Serving staff was very very sweet to us, he guided us, took our photoes, and was well mannered. Taste was excellent, but the price was a bit high, Other than that everything was good 😄 Enjoyed the Meal their !! 😁

Royal Firdos in Kota is a decent spot for non-vegetarian food lovers, offering a menu packed with flavorful dishes that hit the mark. The food quality, especially the non-veg options, is impressive, with well-prepared curries and grilled items that stand out for their taste and freshness. The service is commendable—staff are attentive and quick, ensuring a smooth dining experience. However, the place falls short as a family-friendly dining option. The ambience feels cramped and chaotic, largely due to the crowd and excessive noise, which can make it uncomfortable for a relaxed meal. The bustling environment might suit casual diners or groups of friends, but families looking for a calm setting may find it overwhelming. Overall, Royal Firdos is a great pick for delicious non-veg food and efficient service, but the noisy, crowded vibe makes it less ideal for family outings. Rating: 3.5/5

Non veg starters are very Tasty, main course is also very tasty but price is little high. Clean and hygienic. Sometimes ordered food is not cooked properly(chicken). And quantity of Chicken Biryani is less according to price also only 2 pc in full plate. Egg bhurji quantity is also less according to price but taste is very good. Recommend to try starters. All are excellent!

Recommendation: mutton kebabs with rumali rotis. Served with green chutney and onion rings and mayonnaise (I guess). Light on tummy and yet healthy and fulsome. Just love it!

I have ordered 2 pizzas and 4 Gulab Jamuns, but received only 2 Pizzas and 2 Gulab Jamuns. Vendor needed to reach my allotted birth number, but he said me to come on Platform of station Kota to collect food items. I requested him to come on the location but he said he was not allowed to come inside. Is it true you know very well. Very poor Restaurant and very poor service. I don't recommend any passenger to order food during their journey.
Amrendra K — Google review
TL;DR: Excellent food ordered on the train, well-cooked and delicious, worth the price. However, service issues encountered with an order mix-up and delayed refund, which was frustrating. Still recommended for those passing through Kota Junction, but caution advised to double-check orders in advance. Food: This has by far been my best Food ordered on Train. The meals are cooked perfectly, packed well, and always fresh. They even give you wet wipes. And I have to say, the food is really delicious! Price: It's definitely worth the money you pay. Service: But there's one thing they need to work on – their service. Let me explain. I ordered two small vegetarian meals (called thalis) through IRCTC while I was on the train. But when the train stopped at Kota Junction Railway station, I got only one meal. I called the restaurant, and the person in charge said I had only paid for one meal, which was not true. I had to insist that he double-check. Finally, he realized there was a problem with the IRCTC website, and it hadn't shown the correct order initially. But now, he could see that I had actually ordered and paid for two meals. Unfortunately, by the time he figured this out, the train had already left Kota Junction. I asked for a refund, and they agreed, but they didn't send it for the next nine days. On the tenth day, I had to follow up, and after talking to a different manager, they gave me my money back. The manager also said sorry for the trouble. But honestly, I wasn't happy with the service. Here's the thing – when people order food on a train, they do it because they want better food than what the train offers. So, they need to be really careful with these orders because there's no room for mistakes. If they mess up, the person who ordered the food goes hungry or has to eat something they didn't want. And getting a refund isn't a great solution when you're on a train. Anyway, I have to admit that this place is a good choice if you're passing through Kota Junction. My advice to other passengers would be to call them in advance and double-check your order to avoid these kinds of problems.

We ordered Chicken Tandoori and Boneless Butter Chicken. Positives: The chicken was fresh, flavorful, and well-cooked, with generous portions. The table was clean, and the ambience was pleasant, making for a comfortable dining experience. Negatives: However, the table placement wasn’t ideal for enjoying a full-course meal. The black plates didn’t appear very clean, which affected the presentation a bit. Additionally, the food took quite a long time to arrive, which could be improved. Overall: Good food and ambience, but service speed and table setup need attention.

Decent restaurant to order food from, i havend had the experience of dine-in here, but have ordered food and it was a not so bad experience. Indian foos is fine here, i did not like the veg hakka noodles I ordered. There was ginger and mushrooms in the noddles which was ruining the taste and smell of the food. Also, instead of soya sauce, they had given green chutney which was also a mood spoiler. Other than these things, Packaging was very neatly and nicely done, with proper care taken of sanitation and stuff Overall, not a bad experience, you could order from here

The service was prompt and efficient, and the overall taste of the food was outstanding. I highly recommend this place, especially for pure vegetarians looking for a satisfying and wholesome meal.”

Visited this place after 11 years. Went for dinner ordered Chinese and it was very disappointing. Items we ordered: 1. Veg haka noodles: 3/5 2. Chinese sizzlers: 2/5 3. Tomato soup: 3/5 4. Hot and sour soup: 3/5 5. Crispy corn: 4/5 Sizzlers were not good in taste, the noodles/pasta/rice mix provided were very soggy, salty with lot of vinegar in it. Crispy corn was good. Service was not prompt, had to remind them twice to give ketchup and other things. They might be serving other cuisines with proper taste, but we had bad experience with our order so, I am not going to visit this place again.

Aslii Zaika Non Veg

Mughlai restaurant
If you're on the hunt for a delightful dining experience in Kota, look no further than Aslii Zaika Non Veg. This restaurant is a haven for those craving authentic Indian flavors, offering an impressive selection of both non-vegetarian and vegetarian dishes. The ambiance is inviting, making it perfect for casual meals or gatherings with friends. While it can get a bit crowded at times and service may be slightly delayed, the delicious food more than makes up for any wait.
Just wanna say~ Heaven for non veg lovers! Writing my whole experience here👇 Stepping into Asli Zaika Non Veg in Kota, you immediately notice its lively and bustling atmosphere. The restaurant is often crowded, especially during evenings and weekends, creating a vibrant and energetic vibe. The staff are generally polite and engaging, although during peak hours they can seem a bit stretched due to the rush. This place clearly attracts a diverse crowd, from families to students and groups of friends, all drawn by its reputation. The ambiance is straightforward and functional, without any fancy décor, but it serves its purpose well. One of the branches is perceived to be slightly more upscale and quieter, with better maintenance and a slightly higher price point. For those who prefer a less noisy environment and more comfort, that branch might be worth a visit. It’s wise to arrive early, preferably before 7 PM, to secure a good spot and avoid the crowd. Where this restaurant truly shines is in its non-vegetarian offerings. The menu boasts a variety of Mughlai-style dishes, with butter chicken, chicken biryani, kebabs, and changezi frequently praised by patrons. Many diners appreciate the authentic flavors and generous portions, often remarking that the prices are reasonable given the quantity and variety on offer. However, there are some consistency issues to note. Some customers have reported smaller portion sizes, especially with online orders, and occasionally chicken pieces that are undersized or undercooked. The dishes tend to be on the oily side, which some enjoy for the richness, while others find it a bit overwhelming. The use of spices is quite bold, which can be a hit or miss depending on your taste preference. Cleanliness and hygiene have been points of concern for several visitors. Reports of dirty plates, less-than-spotless serving utensils, and exposed food near dusty or fly-prone areas have been mentioned. Some patrons have noticed a decline in cleanliness compared to previous visits, which can detract from the overall dining experience. Service is generally courteous but can be slow during busy times. Wait times increase significantly when the restaurant is packed, and online orders sometimes experience delays with statuses lingering in ‘preparing’ for longer than expected. Delivery orders, in particular, seem to suffer from inconsistencies, including smaller portions, fewer chicken pieces, and a drop in taste quality compared to dining in. Regarding value for money, the consensus is that in-house dining offers decent food at reasonable prices, especially appealing to students and local residents. However, the value diminishes when ordering through delivery services due to smaller portions and slower service. Some feel they are paying extra primarily for the restaurant’s name and location rather than consistently exceptional food. In summary, Asli Zaika Non Veg is a place with strong points like a wide non-veg menu, authentic flavors, and affordable pricing for dine-in customers. But it also faces challenges such as hygiene concerns, inconsistent portion sizes and food quality, and a busy, sometimes chaotic dining environment. If you plan to visit, it’s best to go during less crowded hours for a more comfortable experience, prefer dining in over delivery, and manage your expectations regarding perfect service and consistency. It’s a spot worth trying if you enjoy hearty Mughlai dishes and don’t mind a lively atmosphere with occasional imperfections.

Ordered 3 full plates of chicken biryani via Zomato and received only chicken necks and bones. No proper chicken pieces at all! When I called the restaurant to raise this issue, they rudely told me to “complain to the platform, not us.” No apology, no solution—just blame-shifting. Totally unprofessional and disappointing. This is not how customers should be treated after paying full price. Not recommended. Beware before ordering!

I just didn't like the way they treat customer. They are full of attitude to their customer as I am one of them and I lost my bluetooth just when I left for hand wash there. So no checks nothing 😞 It's kind of sad they till date these kind of restaurant are running. So care for your things if planning to eat something.

I had recently ordered Keema Kaleji from zomato but instead of that I received some mutton curry which was completely uncooked and oily This was very disappointing and not acceptable. Kindly maintain food quality and ensure correct items are delivered

A quiet place to sit and spend quality time with your friends and family. They have a lot of variety of fast food and chai. Good coffee if you want it will also be served to you here. They have a good view of the Ghoda circle from their rooftop as well as they have air conditioned inside the cafe.

Worst place , worst quality of food, worst taste, even after giving feedback to the person at counter, he was not agreeing on this, the pizza was like a nightmare, overpriced, the spring roll was not well cooked! Overall , it is very worst place.

Visited this place during my visit of Kota . Retro Themed Cafe with subtle yellow lightings which gives 90’s feel. You have an option to seat on the rooftop as well. Food is good in taste and portion. However some random items can not taste well however the daily and frequent items that we eat tastes good. You can visit this place and have some good time.

Often I'm satisfied with the taste and services here, just that my recent experience with their Oreo shake was pathetic 🥲. It was only too much sugar in milk, absolutely no crunch of Oreo, Oreo was over-grinded. Would really want you to work on this shake particularly.

One of the best place to grab a coffee with your loved ones, great ambience. You will find people of all age group from school kids to oldies, although tea and coffee is nice but won't recommend having food here , we ordered signature pizza but it wasn't good , but cafe frappe was awesome . Served a complimentary soup on arrival. Service is quick , waiters are humble and good mannered .

Vegetarian restaurant
Breakfast restaurant
Woods Restaurant is a delightful culinary haven in Kota, particularly popular among the younger crowd for its enticing vegetarian menu. This charming eatery offers an array of healthy and mouthwatering dishes perfect for sharing with friends and family. With options like Mushroom Masala, Vegetable Spring Rolls, and Cream of Mushroom Soup, diners can indulge in authentic flavors that celebrate both Indian cuisine and continental favorites. The restaurant's inviting woodland-themed decor creates a serene atmosphere ideal for casual meals or relaxed dinners.

Heaven for vegetarians. Good food, soothing ambience. Well maintained hygiene. Good music in the background. Reasonable prices. Atmosphere so soothing that makes it a family place as well as a date place too. Writing my whole experience here👇 Woods Restaurant, Kota – A Soothing Vegetarian Delight with Consistent Flavours Overall Rating: ★★★★☆ (4.2/5) Taste of Food: ★★★★☆ Woods Restaurant offers a rich spread of vegetarian dishes that cater to both traditional tastes and modern palates. Signature mains like Paneer Lababdar, Malai Kofta, and Mushroom Masala stand out for their robust flavours and creamy textures. Their Veg Biryani is aromatic and filling, while starters such as Corn Chilli and Spring Rolls are well-prepared and nicely spiced. Most dishes arrive well-presented and in generous portions. On most days, the food feels freshly prepared and flavourful, with balanced seasoning. However, spice levels can vary unexpectedly — occasionally leaning too mild or surprisingly spicy. Also, while dine-in portions are usually generous, delivery portions may feel slightly reduced, and the food might lose a bit of its warmth or freshness. Overall, it’s a solid choice for vegetarian cuisine lovers who enjoy comforting, flavorful meals. Ambience: ★★★★☆ The restaurant’s ambience is warm and family-friendly. Interiors are thoughtfully done, combining a modern touch with casual comfort. Soft music and clean seating areas create a relaxed vibe, ideal for group gatherings, dates, or family dinners. It’s best visited during non-peak hours, as evenings and weekends can get busy. While the space remains clean and inviting, high footfall during peak times can make it feel a bit noisy and packed. Parking can also be slightly tricky during rush hours, but it’s manageable. Lighting inside is mostly pleasant, though some corners may feel overly bright, which could affect the overall dining mood. Still, the ambience remains one of the restaurant’s highlights. Service: ★★★★☆ The staff at Woods is courteous, responsive, and knowledgeable about the menu. They’re usually quick with orders, helpful in suggesting dishes, and attentive to guest needs. Service is smooth and professional, especially during lunch hours or early dinners. When the restaurant gets busy, there may be slight delays or minor order mix-ups, but staff generally handle these issues well. For delivery orders, there have been occasional complaints about missing accompaniments or food not arriving hot. It’s best to double-check the order if you’re opting for takeaway. Despite these occasional hiccups, the service experience is mostly positive and customer-focused. Value for Money: ★★★★☆ Pricing at Woods is quite reasonable for the quality and portion size. Most dishes fall within a comfortable range, making it suitable for regular dining as well as special outings. Combos and thali options offer good variety, while starters and main courses are filling enough for sharing. Premium or specialty items can push the bill up, but the overall dining experience justifies the cost. For a pure vegetarian establishment, it strikes a fine balance between quality and affordability. Final Thoughts Woods Restaurant continues to be a go-to place in Kota for reliable vegetarian meals. With its calm ambience, flavourful dishes, and courteous service, it ticks most boxes for both casual and celebratory dining. Recommendations: Visit during off-peak hours for a better experience. Clarify spice preferences when placing your order. For delivery, confirm item details before accepting the package. Try their rich paneer gravies and crispy starters—they rarely disappoint. Final Verdict: A satisfying dining experience for those who appreciate good vegetarian food in a clean, welcoming setting. With minor improvements in consistency and delivery, it could easily rank among the top restaurants in the city. Rating: 4.2 / 5

The atmosphere is very nice considering the cities standard there is always soft jazz playing in the restaurant food is actually very fair priced for its high quality after eating the food it don't cause stomach ache or acidity the service is quite nice but when the restaurant is in its rush hour it get quite hard as I had to ask for a glass 5 time as I was in a party with 20 people with about 20 more customers around us as we haven't booked the hall but when with family even at rush hour you usually get food in under 40 mins
