Nestled in the charming cobblestone streets of La Ronda, Casa Los Geranios Restaurante is a delightful culinary gem that showcases the rich flavors of traditional Ecuadorian cuisine. Under the expert guidance of Executive Chef Juan Carlos Cordova, diners can savor authentic dishes such as locro de papa, fritada, and llapingachos, all crafted from the freshest local ingredients. Great place with charming atmosphere and excellent staff. Enjoyed the potato soup and goat stew.
Teakeyman — Google review
Eddy is a fantastic waiter and made sure that I had a lovely evening. It must be off season as I was the only one in the restaurant. I stuck to the local cuisine ordering the cheese, potato and avocado soup and goat dish. I mean, they were okay but not unreal. The gut had a lot to be desired but overall it was a pleasant evening and I was looked after
David M — Google review
Nice location and setting in a typical casona. Ordered the seco de chivo (goat), size was a bit small for the price but quality good and service very good.
Phillip T — Google review
This was a wonderful experience complete with delicious food, chill music and exceptionally sweet waiters. Unmissable!
Isaac F — Google review
We only spent one day in Quito and we came here for coffee mid morning and loved it so much that we came back for dinner. We had the most amazing service, coffee, and then at dinner we had wonderful mussels and an excellent bottle of brut rose. This place has a beautiful atmosphere. Very upscale without being super expensive. I highly recommend it.
Lindsay G — Google review
Beautiful restaurant with really delicious Ecuadorian meals. Service is excellent and they make great Canelasso drinks, both alcoholic and non-alcoholic.
Cicchiamichael ( — Google review
Fantastic food and fantastic service!! This place was just amazing. Our waiter did it all , set the table , took our order , made our delicious drinks, got all of food out and everything!! I recommend this place their deserts, entrees and empanadas were amazing!!!
Viking S — Google review
Great location and good looking interior. Enjoyed our meal here, tried many Ecuadorian foods which were new to us. But the prawn ceviche was rather tough, and the sliced pork with passion fruit sauce was so tough that I had to leave half of it on the plate.

Café Mosaico

Cafe
Cafe Mosaico is a must-visit spot located on the Itchimbia hill in Quito, offering an unparalleled view of the city. The interior is adorned with vibrant art and decor, creating a welcoming ambiance complemented by live music. This restaurant boasts a diverse menu featuring Greek, Ecuadorean, and American cuisine to cater to various tastes.
Even if the food was bad the view alone would make this worth a visit. However, the food was amazing and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful. We had different burgers and I inhaled mine it was so good. Enjoyed a local drink called Canelazo which was also great. Did I mention the view? Amazing and so much fun to see the city light up as the sun went down. Highly recommend this place to anyone.
Teakeyman — Google review
So I came on a rainy night bcuz I heard the hamburgers are so good. And I was not disappointed.... I love the onion rings and potato circles ! They had delicious ketchup too. My burger was cooked perfect medium and juicy. The rain stopped and the view was better ( but the rain was cool too? Also I love the doggies greeting me when I walked in
Boston I — Google review
Not only was the food and presentation delicious, but the view is amazing as well. What sold me though, was their desire to help stray cats & dogs. They help adopt strays via donations and you can bring your dog! The vibes were incredible. Menu available in English for tourists. You can “adopt a friend” for only $10, you get a stuffed pet to color and decorate with a card that tells you about an adoption story. My heart left happy.
Haley J — Google review
Excellent experience, as always. This was my 5th visit to Mosaico and it delivered on all levels. Excellent service from Leo, our waiter, and delicious food and drinks. So glad I decided to to bring my wife here. We loved it!
Ryan D — Google review
Great food with an amazing view of the city. They also let my dog inside with me. The canelazo was perfect.
Odessa W — Google review
This place is amazing for the views if not for everything on the menu. It can be a bit cool at night, right near the railing. But the lights of the city are magical from this viewpoint. The soup was pretty good, but our party really disliked the chicken wings
Brian S — Google review
Great view of the city from the balcony. The food is generally good with the traditional Ecuadorian lamb dish being the most flavourful. The sharing platters are very generous with onion rings, carrots, grilled meat, dipping sauces, etc. The staff are very friendly and service was quick. There was a bar downstairs with live music on Friday night.

Best view over the beautiful city. Come at sunset.

Achiote

Mentioned on
1 list
$$$$affordable
Ecuadorian restaurant
Achiote is a restaurant in the touristic zone of La Plaza Foch, offering a unique culinary experience. Visitors can enjoy traditional Ecuadorian cuisine and even take cooking classes to learn how to make dishes like llapingachos (potato patties) and ceviche. The restaurant also features fresh fruit juices and even offers CUY on the menu for adventurous eaters.
What a gem of a restaurant! It was recommended by the concierge at our hotel and we couldn't be more grateful! Short taxi ride (and even if it requires a longer one for you, it's totally worth it!!). The food was next level amazing. We tried the empanadas and the traditional soup (sancocho) for starters. Both dishes came with a wealth of deepness in flavours and textures. We picked the lamb stew and pork for mains (again unbeatable taste) and absolutely loved the plantain cake for dessert. My husband had wine which was equally amazing. We wanted to return the next day for lunch before flying back home but Google said they were only open for dinner, so we had to settle for a mediocre meal elsewhere. I really cannot recommend this place enough! They were super attentive and really seemed to care about whether we enjoyed their food. Which we absolutely did! :)
Sa S — Google review
What a gem! The food and service was phenomenal. Veronica answered all of our questions when we ordered and when the food came out, she described the dishes we had ordered. Delicious traditional Ecuadorian dishes, including cuy! Gluten free and vegetarian options easily labeled on the menu.
Shelly — Google review
What a fantastic experience! Lucy was a wonderful host and the food was excellent. I travel all over the world and enjoy good food- our dishes here were perfectly cooked and seasoned and all of us left full and happy!
Tobias G — Google review
Absolutely incredible experience! The food was the best I've had in Ecuador so far. A special thank you to the waiter, Veronica, who was fantastic. Her recommendations were perfect and she explained everything with such great detail. Five stars! Highly recommend!
Feodor B — Google review
Comfortable interior, delicious food, and wonderful service. What else do you need? The food here is refined Ecuador dishes with clean and rich flavors. Give it a try. You will enjoy it!
Justin C — Google review
This is not an inexpensive restaurant on any standard. However, food was good. Wine is also good but was very expensive considering being in Quito. Service was great.
Q N — Google review
Achiote was such an incredible experience for my coworker and I who were in Ecuador for a work trip. We wanted authentic Ecuadorian cuisine and this is truly the place. It’s family run, and is also their family home that they turned into a stunning restaurant. Andres is the chef, and he personally came out to speak with us about the food we ordered. Cannot recommend this place enough!
Timothy N — Google review
This restaurant was fantastic! From fresh squeezed juices to a unique and delicious mango-pickle-tomato-avocado-onion salad and super tasty vegetarian entrees, everything was a hit! The server was very kind as well! Highly, highly recommend!

Ecuadorian restaurant
De La Llama is a highly popular lunch spot in Quito, located near La Carolina Park. It offers contemporary cuisine with local ingredients at reasonable prices. The restaurant serves a wide variety of internationally influenced dishes in a charming old house setting. Guests have praised the tasty food and particularly enjoyed the house-made spicy salsa. The dining experience is described as delightful, with friendly service and exquisite, creative creations that represent traditional Ecuadorian flavors.
Wow wow wow. Extraordinary food, super cute atmosphere, no wait for a table, reasonable prices. We had duck dumplings, Korean mushrooms, and kind of a ceviche tostada made of crickets! Extremely delicious. The only markdown is that the service, while prompt and courteous, was kind of cold. A smile or two would’ve gone a long way. But I would definitely come back here again and again.
Brad M — Google review
I cannot recommend this restaurant enough! The staff and food were both outstanding and far exceeded my expectations. We sat on the patio which is a beautiful, intimate space. The decor is llama themed and artfully arranged. You absolutely must try the duck dumplings, corviches, and pork belly. Our biggest regret was not going back before we left to try more from the menu!
Kaylee — Google review
Incredible food and very welcoming. We had the grilled octopus appetizer, shrimp chupe, and seafood locro. Best octopus I’ve ever had! I would have ordered my seafood entree again if I hadn’t been so full with the first! So flavorful and delicious. Even our cocktails were clearly created with attention to detail.

this was absolutely amazing!!!!!!! delicious food, amazing service, and our waiter, Fernando, was absolutely amazing. Honestly he took such amazing care of us. my cousin had a sore throat and he made sure there was extra ginger in his lemonade. my mom had an upset stomach and he gave her a bowl of white rice and llapingachos. he also gave us two free llama cookies. FANTASTIC PLACE!!! FANTASTIC SERVICE!!! THANK YOU FERNANDO!!!
Karina K — Google review
What an amazing dining experience! From the moment we arrived, Fernando made us feel truly welcome! His attention to detail, kindness, and professionalism stood out the entire evening. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect! The restaurant’s atmosphere is warm and elegant, with a cozy Andean-modern vibe that makes you want to stay for hours. The lighting, music, and decor create the perfect balance between sophistication and comfort. The food was delicious and what really made the night unforgettable was the exceptional service!

The restaurant provides a prime location for people-watching while enjoying a quick bite to eat. We enjoyed a lovely experience here. The craft beer was cold. The smoothies were flavorful. The food was fresh, tasty & served in a timely manner. I’d love to return anytime and highly recommend this family establishment that dates back 2 generations!
Christina P — Google review
Great spot for a meal. We had lunch and it was cozy inside. The vegetarian options were appreciated. Good beer from Belgium.
Rebecca C — Google review
Great Cubano, great place, nice people. Really well priced. What's not to love?
Danny V — Google review
I’m genuinely shocked this space doesn’t have 5 stars across the board! My brother and I are visiting from America and have travelled through much of Ecuador - we both agreed this was truly our favorite meal overall in all of Ecuador. Though we truly try to speak Spanish, we also really appreciated the fact that they spoke English and provided recommendations. The traditional foods were insanely good. We’re just sad we didn’t find this place sooner but it was the PERFECT last meal in Ecuador. Cheers x
Alyssa H — Google review
Great location in the plaza! Breakfast and lunch were fantastic and they have great beer and cappuccinos! The staff are super friendly, family owned for multiple generations.
Bailey D — Google review
Good food, their mojitos have no much alcohol. Should just renamed to lemonade with mint.
Jorge P — Google review
Super fast service even when the restaurant was packed. It’s a great spot to sit and enjoy people watching on the busy square. I really enjoyed my simple Sándwich de Pernil; super tasty! The Mote with crispy pork was some of the best I’ve had on my journey!

HASTA LA VUELTA SEÑOR

Mentioned on
1 list
$$$$affordable
Ecuadorian restaurant
Hasta la Vuelta Señor is a traditional fonda located in the heart of Quito's Old Town, on the third floor of Palacio Arzobispal. This historic building offers stunning views and an authentic culinary experience. The restaurant features Ecuadorian cuisine, including dishes like potato soup, roasted pork, goat stew, and guinea pig. It caters to various dietary needs with plenty of options for vegetarians and those with gluten intolerance at reasonable prices.
We arrived at 12pm as the restaurant opened and got a superb table for two right above the sign on the terrace. The service was warm, cheerful and friendly and the food was EXCELLENT! Not having been to Ecuador before we ordered a selection of local dishes and every one exceeded our expectations. Hasta la vuelta Senor is a must for all visitors to Quito 👌🏻😁
Alex T — Google review
Food was a little underwhelming...for my taste needs draining. But the ambience and staff were lovely. A little pricey for food and they add a service charge to the bill without asking.
Caroline C — Google review
I had a late lunch with some other tourists from a nearby hostel. There was about a 15 minute wait with lots of locals in line, so figured it'd be good. The food was great, the service was phenomenal and the drinks were refreshing.
Jennifer B — Google review
A good place to try traditional Ecuadorian food just a few feet away from the Plaza de la Independencia. We had the Fritada and the Loma Grande. Both were excellent choices. They also have seafood in case you want to try something different. The place is clean and service is friendly
Favo N — Google review
I really enjoyed the atmosphere. The drinks are sweet and the food is even better. You can easily experience different flavors with the tablón quiteño.
Tracy M — Google review
The place and the food are awesome for sure! I ate in this place yesterday but I was uncomfortable by one of the interactions of the staff members. An old lady (the owner I guess) made anti-queer comments with a waiter about two trans girls that entered the place. If you have the money to pay for a service you shouldn’t be discriminated or looked weird or talked behind the back of people. I won’t come back, this is not a queer friendly place
D Z — Google review
Part of the “encanto” of the historic center of Quito with typical food in a romantic and typical setting. We enjoyed live piano music in the open air balcony. Ate empanadas de viento, Locro, fanesca, tostadas and drank canelazo. We will definitely be back as the service was wonderful and the food delicious.
Vivienne M — Google review
Very nice restaurant that's a little pricey, by Ecuadorian standards. It is conveniently located in the historic city centre. We were on the upper floor, which had a great view looking down at the courtyard like main floor. The food was authentic and delicious and the service was amazing. I would definitely recommend this place for a great meal and the ambiance.

Zazu

Mentioned on
1 list
$$$$expensive
Fine dining restaurant
Zazu is a renowned restaurant in Quito, known for its creative Ecuadorian cuisine and impeccable design. Founded by Chef David Picco, it offers seven-course tasting menus and a la carte options featuring dishes like ceviche, soups, and fish. The restaurant has gained international acclaim and was featured in top publications such as CNN and Andrew Harper Traveler. Peruvian chef Rafael Perez brings his expertise to Zazu, infusing the menu with contemporary Latin influences.
We asked for a nice place to have dinner while in Quito, and Zazu was recommended. It was excellent! The atmosphere was upscale but relaxed. Service was great. The food was superb! My wife had the duck and it was cooked perfectly. I had the crispy fish and it was delicious. If you’re staying at the JW Marriott, it’s $10 round trip in a cab and you need to take the cab.
Adam B — Google review
Went on a Wednesday night so was a little quiet but the decor was a bit dated. I ordered vegan from the set menu which was well accommodated by the staff. The food was good but some of the courses were not ‘wow’. To me the place is a little dated compared to other fine dining places I have been to. The staff were amazing and did such a great job and held a high level of professionalism. If you like fine dining and want an experience this is a good place to visit, however, I think you could get some tasty meals for less in the area.
Kieran B — Google review
We went on a recent trip to Quito and the food did not disappoint. The platting was beautiful and the food was delicious. We did the vegetarian tasting menu with wine pairing and it was excellent. The service was okay and definitely not up to the same standard as the food but we had an amazing experience regardless. If you are in Quito, this is definitely worth the price tag!
Craig L — Google review
For the price tag, the food wasn't fantastic enough. The plating was nice, and the food wasn't bad, but it just didn't have the "wow" factor. The restaurant was very quiet; we were the only guests for about half the meal. We were pleased to find the security was pretty good, and the staff waited outside with us until the cab came.
Kathryn A — Google review
The service was impeccable and every dish was absolutely delicious. We enjoyed the mixed ceviche and the catch of the day and the almond soufflé for dessert.
Melinda-Rae L — Google review
Amazing food. Excellent service. Fantastic presentation. Best restaurant in Quito!!
Andres M — Google review
The food was amazing! We didn’t take the tasting menu - the tartare was excellent, the pork was fantastic, and the crab was nice but a bit too busy. The duck main was cooked perfectly, and the service was great. The only downside was the “natural” juices, which didn’t taste fresh. Overall, great food and lovely service!
Net — Google review
We had a very enjoyable dinner here this evening. My husband ordered the stone crab appetizer and short rib dinner. He enjoyed both very much. I ordered the suckling pig taquitos and grilled filet. So good!! We were staying at the Marriott and it was just under $10 round trip taxi ride. After dinner, we asked the restaurant to call a taxi for us to take us back to the hotel. We had a short wait and they provided an after dinner digestif for us to enjoy while we waited for the taxi. The service was attentive. Highly recommend!!

Miskay

Mentioned on
1 list
$$$$affordable
Ecuadorian restaurant
Miskay is a relaxed and unpretentious restaurant located in the La Mariscal district of Quito, offering traditional Ecuadorian specialties with a modern twist. Situated on Joaquin Pinto street, it provides a personalized gastronomic experience with authentic Ecuadorian flavors and appealing vegetarian options. The restaurant is committed to rescuing and transforming typical local dishes into delicious gourmet offerings.
I’ve been to Miskay 4 times in my short 2-weeks stay in Quito. The service is excellent and the food both tasty and well presented. The staff is really polite and friendly, and make your evening feel special. I wish I was staying longer so that I could work my way through the whole menu. I highly recommend the ceviche, seco de chivo, empanadas, fanesca (only during Easter) and the desserts as well. They also have a nice selection of beers!
Pablo M — Google review
Really good seafood dish with rice. Tasty greatly balanced flavors it was worth the trip from old town! The trio ceviche was a great way to go. My favorite there was the passionfruit. The other two were more typical the shrimp being the better of the two I believe it was the octopus that was very bland.
Kim W — Google review
The best food I had in Ecuador & great opportunity to try traditional dishes. Excellent value. I went alone one night & returned the next with my travelling companion because the food was so good. Simple decor - nothing fancy but clean & cheerful with attentive servers. Somewhat sketchy walk down poorly lit streets to get there. Worth it.
Carolyn M — Google review
So nice we went twice! Food, service, and presentation were fantastic. Highly recommend if you’re in Quito. The trout, seafood rice, ceviche, and empanadas were delicious.
Betsy H — Google review
Great spot, definitely recommend. The entrance doesn’t do this place justice. Once you get into the restaurant you won’t be disappointed. I went local and tried the Guinea Pig, it was great. Lots of excellent choices on the menu. Service was excellent and very helpful. The waiter spoke perfect English.
Simon S — Google review
They mixed up my order and gave it to someone else, so had to prepare mine again, meaning almost everyone else in my party was finished eating by the time it arrived, however it was delicious and worth the wait. Probably our best meal in Quito.
Shelley W — Google review
food was tasty but not amazing. would recommend the ceviche. cuy was a little bit dry. goat stew was very tasty. fig and cheese dessert a little too sweet. waiter was very nice though
C L — Google review
Food was amazing, they brought out a lovely complimentary iced tea and then a light appetizer with a chocho dip. I am vegetarian and they can make a lot of dishes vegetarian. It was amazing. My boyfriend got the cuy (guinea pig), he said it was very good and tender. We shared an appetizer of the potato soup, locro quiteño. We recommend canelazo (a warm drink that reminds me of hot apple cider, spiked). When you come to the restaurant don’t be deterred if it looks closed, it’s on the third floor! Worth the walk.

La Briciola

Italian restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Quito, La Briciola stands out as a beloved Italian restaurant that has captured the hearts of locals and visitors alike. Since its establishment by Fabio and Margarita, who brought their culinary passion from Italy in 1998, this charming eatery has become synonymous with authentic Italian cuisine. Guests can indulge in an array of freshly made pasta, expertly crafted by the chef himself, alongside a carefully curated selection of quality wines.
The restaurant looks like a popular place among locals. We enjoyed our dinner, the food was delicious, very well prepared, and the atmosphere is nice as well. Risotto was great. The service was immaculate, we appreciate that a lot. It’s an Italian restaurant, I didn’t have a wow effect from it. But it was nice to visit and try.
Tatiana — Google review
The atmosphere is great, the service is excellent. The food is very authentic and high quality. We had the gnocchi and prosciutto pizza. We also had focaccia on the table at no extra charge. There was very tasty olive oil and balsamic vinegar on the table. Highly recommended.
Adam O — Google review
Amazing Italian restaurant! The pasta was delicious and really felt like Italy. The service was top-notch!
Alex K — Google review
I really wanted to love this place. The staff were friendly and professional. But I food was mediocre. The salad was over dressed, the pasta was bland. It was so disappointed. The tiramisu was delicious was though!
Sandrea M — Google review
An excellent dining experience! The atmosphere is a bustling taverna with seating spread out and waiters in ties and vests always at the ready. The wine menu is all Italian and very good. We picked an excellent chianti classico docg for $30. Main course was veal shank cooked to perfection with 2 sides. My wife got a Ravioli Napolenta also excellent. Bread and brochetta was included. The service was excellent. A complimentary after dinner creme liquor topped off a wonderful dining experience. Total bill with tax and gratuity $66. Highly recommend!

everything in life is temporary..... and so are really good places to eat this is the case here. The good: Stuffed Calamari ( we should have just ordered 4 of these) ... awesome quality, but tiny portions. The Bad: Risotto, traditional and many common types of Italian risotto are finished with cheese, typically Parmigiano-Reggiano They never put it on mine. For a place that imports this cheese into Ecuador and supplies the Supermaxi supermarkets around Ecuador= This was a big mistake. The bad: Corvina alla Pugliese… The sauce was perfect, but the fish itself was lacking ....what happened here? i don't know .... but the dish was off. The oil on the table, was no longer what it was in the past. you can't fake this...if a customer knows what real EVO is. The amount of wine poured into my glass was a joke, considering i could have bought the whole bottle from them on my way out for less than $10 USD .... the server should have given me at least 1/2 a glass for the $6 charge! This was sadly, a mixed experience.... took me allot of effort to get there & not sure I'll go back.

HELADERÍA - RESTAURANTE SAN AGUSTÍN

Mentioned on

$$$$affordable
Restaurant
Nestled on Guayaquil Street, Heladería - Restaurante San Agustín is a charming establishment steeped in history, having delighted patrons since 1858. This delightful café, attached to a convent, serves as both an ice cream parlor and a cozy eatery. With its vibrant red walls adorned with gold-framed mirrors and intriguing newspaper clippings, the ambiance is rich with nostalgia.
I love this place, is located on the heart of the city, it takes you back to the 19 century atmosphere, they have been open since 1858 so it has been a tradicional place for long time. Their sweets are the traditional ones, sweet quesadillas, ice cream, seco de chivo or just to have a coffe an enjoy this wonderful place.
Francisco R — Google review
Had an amazing dinner here. The food was exactly what you want from a traditional Ecuadorian meal. The flavour was rich and delicate of the Pollo al Ajillo. They did a small performance with our lunch to do with the Easter weekend parade. We didn’t have to wait long for our food. The smaller portion was more than enough for me.
Daniela A — Google review
So special. Stumbled into great food, history and even a Christmas show!
Susannah H — Google review
The place is very nice, or an old colonial style house. The service is fast and the staff quite attentive and helpful. I took the menu of the day, the Ceviche with coconut was fantastic, the breast with passion fruit was good, the tempura prawns had a slight chemical flavor and it would be ideal to peel them before going through the tempura dough. The coffee was terrible, the tinto de verano very good. It's a shame that in the kitchen they can't make something out of a dish when the customer asks for it I ordered the salad without onion and they told me that it was not possible, but seeing the dish it was not already mixed, It's put item by item, it was possible to omit them
Mireya C — Google review
We had to wait outside for a table and so glad we did. The "Saint" at the door was very welcoming, told us about the seasonal local dishes being served and even let us have a surprise taste. The atmosphere was energetic and fun. The food was delicious and prices were very fair. Servers, who were rushed off their feet, were friendly and helped us whenever asked. Don't miss this opportunity .

A wonderful experience from start to finish. I was reminded of the tourist control card, which I appreciated. One gentleman at the gate wasn't so fortunate and he missed our flight. The airport was very easy to navigate and had shops, a cafe and food. I was really impressed with my experience here.

A vey busy airport. The information desk has staff that does not know the answers to basic questions. A lot of shops, including duty-free shops and and a wide choice of restaurants. The check-in desks for airlines are assigned as you get closer to the departure. So if you reach early, you can not check in and have no idea where you will need to check in. The drive to the center of the city is about an hour so allow for that. There are a number of modern hotels nearby to stay.

The airport looks new even though it was built 10 years ago. The process of going through customs was a breeze compare to Medellin airport. The coffee shop was a little bit expensive but it is expected at an airport. The car we hired was Edison and he was always ontime and dependable.

This is a modern, clean and well structured airport. The pricing is according to US standards and rather high compared to shops in Quito. Overall a great experience!

Nice enough airport. Too few luggage carousels and too many people made it a long wait for bags, after the long wait for passport control. Glad to have a guide now.

The WiFi is pretty bad. Be ready with an esim ahead of time if you plan on getting an uber or need to buy a transit pass to the Galapagos (they make you check your email prior to paying). Tip: 1. The reserve tax for international tourists to the Galapagos is $200 USD/person. It is paid when you land there. Is is CASH only, there is no way of paying by card. Please keep this in mind as cash is king in Galapagos. Most ATM'S will max $200 USD/withdrawal and you will pay a heavy tax on that. Tours can be paid by card, but you will pay an extra 15-20% if so. 2. The airport is about 1 hr from the city center of Quito. You can use uber to pre-book a ride there if you have an early flight. Some tourists we met early in the morning had to wait over an hour for a taxi booked in the morning. Enjoy Ecuador!

Pro: Beautiful, new airport; friendly staff Con: Every single bathroom has wayyyy too much perfume! I couldn't breath! It is toxic and I started having a serious problem. I have been in 60 airports and have never experienced it so terrible. It needs to be addressed before someone gets hurt. The worse one was the Layover Lounge. Even the staff agrees.
