Restaurant
El Preferido de Palermo has a fascinating history that dates back to the early 20th century, when it was a popular grocery store frequented by tango singers, poets, artists, and gauchos. Over the years, the space has been restored by the Zoppi family, uncovering a treasure of old memories and a wine cellar with more than 2.
Really good service! Natasha, our waitress, was very attentive and super nice. The food was delicious and the portions were generous. We shared everything and left feeling full :) It is on the expensive side, but both the food and the service are totally worth it.

Located in Palermo, one of the most well-known neighborhoods in Buenos Aires, this restaurant is a must-visit. It offers local charm, excellent service, a warm, welcoming atmosphere, and most importantly, delicious Argentine gastronomy and a great wine selection. Reservation is a must there are two options: outside terrace and indoors. Added to my fav’s list. 😉
Catalina B — Google review
I stopped by for an early dinner without a reservation, and the front desk staff was super friendly—they gave me a few different seating options to choose from, which was great. I ordered a gin and tonic and got to pick from a nice list of gins. For food, I went with the Canelones, and they were amazing—especially with the tasty red sauce. I finished with the flan, which was the perfect classic dessert. Service was awesome—my server, Rodrigo, was really helpful, gave great suggestions, and made the whole visit totally worth it.

We just dropped by and had our light lunch. The blood sausage is incredibly delicious. Salad is very nicely seasoned and bread with lemon olives oil is a nice touch. Lemonade is very refreshing and tasty. Tortillas is okay. In general, price is slightly higher but a great experience.

Without a doubt an absolute MUST for Buenos Aires! We arrived on a Monday at 7:30pm, the staff were so attentive and without a reservation we waited for about 20min only which was fine, especially as they give you a waiting drink, delish! We were seated at the bar which I would highly recommend because watching the Chefs in action was a work of art. We saw every dish coming out and it was perfection, and everything we ordered tasted amazing, I wish we could have ordered more and hope we can come back before we leave. Complementary housemade bread and olives to start, so classy. Wine from Mendoza was delish and then as a surprise (because the chefs probably saw how much we were enjoying ourselves) they gave us desert on the house which was the cherry on top! If we were locals, this would be our weekly spot!!

Loved this place Fabulously friendly and efficient staff . Great vibe punching out fabulous food. At El Preferido de Palermo, the Milanesa I ordered was a full of texture and flavour, Accompanied by a fresh grilled asparagus. Washed down by a couple of excellent wines . This place merits the attention of those who appreciate good food cooked well and fine dining and a cool friendly ambiance.

El preferido de palermo was my first ever experience in a restaurant in Buenos Aires, and I didn't disappoint. The welcome bread, olives, and olive oil had an incredible taste I had never tasted in America. Everything was made with so much care, and the flavor of the food was outstanding. The staff was very knowledgeable and offered wine that paired well with our food. I would definitely come back again!!
Pavel C — Google review
Incredible place. We came to celebrate my sister's birthday and had a great time. All the food was insanely good, especially the chips, the olive oil, and the complimentary freshly baked bum-shaped bread. The staff were all so friendly and helpful. The sommelier helped us a lot with choosing a wine and even let us try before we buy. Would definitely come back!

Restaurant
Don Julio is a renowned steakhouse in Argentina, celebrated for its classic steaks, local dishes, and extensive wine selection within an intimate setting. The restaurant has garnered global recognition, securing a notable 18th place in the 50 Best Restaurants in the world ranking for 2023. Specializing in grass-fed Aberdeen Angus and Hereford cattle beef aged for at least 21 days, Don Julio offers an exceptional dining experience.
From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with a glass of sparkling wine and a warm welcome that immediately made us feel happy and at ease. I had booked a table for two at noon on a weekday, and by the time we got there, the restaurant was already nearly full—always a good sign. The starters and bread were delightful, bringing a sense of joy and anticipation while we waited for the main dishes. We ordered the grilled cheese, salad, and a 500g medium-rare ribeye. I was truly impressed by the steak—perfectly cooked with a beautifully smoked crust, while the inside remained incredibly tender. Highly recommended for both its outstanding food and attentive service!
Wei S — Google review
Great food and great service. We had a reservation but asked to move it earlier, and they kindly accommodated us — though we sat outside, which we didn’t mind. The staff were friendly and attentive. The ojo de bife was huge, easily enough for 3–4 people. Overall, excellent experience — if you’re a true steak fan, you’ll notice the quality difference; if not, it might just feel like another good steak. Still worth it for the experience, just a bit on the pricey side.
Lance F — Google review
This place has a lot of hype but we really felt it lived up to it and was worth the price. I could only get a booking for 11.30am online and even at that you queue. But they gave sparkling wine and empanadas while waiting. We were seated outside on white table cloth. Wouldn't have been my preference but was still nice and classy. We were given a few "free" bits including nice breads with a type of salsa and there are nice salsas and chimichuri sauces kept on the table. We decided to get a few starters (sausage and morcilla) and an entrecote steak to share with chips and a nice bottle of malbec. All really beautiful and the feature of the steak cut next to you is class. All really beautiful. The post main part is a little slower and less attentive service though they had some nice features like giving a free ice cream after ordering one. I also got coffee. Overall came to c $260,000 (€150) which I felt was worth it for what it was.
RFDug — Google review
We were thrilled to get a seat at the number one steakhouse — ranked best three years in a row and a proud Michelin-star holder! There were some mixed reviews online, but coming all the way from Southeast Asia, we were so eager to try this famous establishment. We managed to get a lunch reservation, and while waiting, they served complimentary empanadas and wine — such a nice touch. The service was excellent and the staff were superb. We ordered the entrecôte (which costs about three-quarters less than back home!) and it was absolutely AMAZING — so flavorful and tender that we ended up ordering a second one. The mashed potatoes were also delightful. If you get the chance, do yourself a favor and try this place — it’s that good!
Debby D — Google review
You definitely need a reservation for this place as it’s always busy. Even with a reservation, expect to wait a little before being seated, but they make the wait enjoyable by serving champagne outside. We ordered the tomahawk steak, and it was cooked to perfection, the only steakhouse in Argentina where we felt they nailed it perfectly. The food overall was okay and we were a bit surprised that it ranks among the top steakhouses in the world. What truly set the experience apart was the service, easily the best we’ve ever had anywhere. The staff made the entire experience feel special. Overall, we had a great time. The exceptional service alone makes Don Julio worth a visit, even if the food didn’t fully match its world-class reputation.
Ghazal L — Google review
The freshly baked bread served with olive oil and green cheese? I'd quite special. We tried a few appetitizer and enjoyed them all - the chitterlings are chewy and spongey, grilled cheese smells and tastes good. The veg dishes of pedimento and mushroom are juicy and tasty. The rib eye steak lives up to the standard. The waiters at the table are overall attentive. In terms of critique, the seating is crowded for the standard of fine dining however. The restaurant reception subtly gives the sensel that the restaurant, no. 10 in the world with one Michelin star, is in hot demand that they have more customers than they can serve. Overall it is a great experience.
Olivia T — Google review
Exceptional quality meat, but the experience didn’t quite live up to the reputation or price. We ordered a flank steak (medium-rare), a ribeye (medium-rare), mashed potatoes, and mushrooms. The flank steak arrived unevenly cooked (at parts medium / medium-well), the ribeye was rare, the mashed potatoes were buttery but under-seasoned, and the mushrooms were good but not exceptional. We appreciated the service upon joining the line at open - they passed around glasses of bubbly wine. We did not indulge, as it was early in the day, but we appreciated the sentiment nonetheless. We regret not ordering the fries — they looked amazing as they arrived at other tables. We’ve since been chasing that same fry experience elsewhere after Don Julio, but alas…
Karen F — Google review
We came here twice during our visit to Buenos Aires. I think combining the food, wine list and the service they all do the justice of their fame! I’m not a big steak fan but this one was good. But they got me with the little empanadas they serve while you are waiting for your table! I could just eat them forever! Definitely an experience to have in the city!

Barbecue restaurant
Located in the lively city of Palermo, La Cabrera is a popular Argentinian grill known for its wide variety of high-quality cuts of meat. From boneless ribeye to grilled gizzards and braised pork shoulder, the restaurant offers an array of traditional dishes. What sets La Cabrera apart are the generous side dishes that accompany the beef, including mashed potatoes, quail eggs, zucchinis, and sweet corn.
Genuinely very impressed! They offer a dinner deal with 40% off at certain times, which makes it amazing value. All of the steaks were absolutely delicious—perfectly cooked and full of flavour. The sides were just as impressive, and there’s a lovely selection of wines to choose from. We left absolutely stuffed and very happy. It was genuinely so worth it—highly recommend!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ La Cabrera is an absolute must-visit in Buenos Aires! 🇦🇷 The atmosphere is lively and full of local charm, and the service is friendly and attentive from start to finish. The steaks were cooked to perfection — tender, juicy, and bursting with flavour — easily some of the best we’ve ever had! 🥩🔥 The selection of side dishes and sauces was outstanding, and the generous portions make it great value for money. We loved the complimentary appetisers and desserts — such a thoughtful touch. If you’re visiting Buenos Aires and want to experience authentic Argentine cuisine in a warm and vibrant setting, La Cabrera should be at the top of your list. ❤️

Had a lovely diner here. Was (pleasantly!) surprised by the Happy Hour discount -30% for diner between 18.30-20.00. Service was really good! Food wise it was possible to share dishes or eat half a portion, which was great. Salads as a side dish are also very good ánd huge, so easy to share. Am very pleased that I have visited this place, will come back!
Nicole — Google review
we ordered the Argentinean meat, 3/5 in my opinion. maybe the entrana would be a better choice. waiters only arrive at 8pm for dinner so going early to secure a table if you have no reservations.
小號K — Google review
We ate here recently and throughly enjoyed the food, the steak was one of the best I’ve eaten. And the service was very attentive and friendly too. Plus the prices are decent, especially during the happy hour. Maybe a bit picky but only 4 stars because… * We sat outside as it was the 40% off happy hour so was very busy. Not a problem, but the heating lamp didn’t work and it was August so it was uncomfortably cold. They need to fix the heater. * I allowed the waiter to talk me into ordering less steak (he was quite persistent), so was still hungry at the end. The customer is always right. 🙂 * I ordered a can of beer and it arrived in a half-full glass because it was only half the can. I don’t know what they did with the other half. When I got a second can of beer I poured it myself and it filled the glass to the very top.

My favorite steakhouse in Palermo. Very crowded -you need a reservation or luck. The beef is amazing, well priced. Service is very good. 👍

Very kind, friendly, and helpful waitstaff. The food was delicious. I would highly recommend for an affordable and delicious taste of authentic Argentinian steak.
Ashleigh D — Google review
La Cabrera is the kind of place where everything just turns out right. They have been at it for years and it shows. The staff are experienced and attentive, the atmosphere has that classic Buenos Aires charm, and the food is exactly what you hope for in a traditional parrilla. The steak was cooked perfectly, the fries were crispy, and the empanadas were excellent. Portions are generous, flavors are authentic, and the overall experience lives up to the reputation. Set in the heart of Palermo, one of the city’s most vibrant neighborhoods, La Cabrera makes for a perfect night out. Palermo is known for its lively mix of cafés, bars, and restaurants, and this spot is one of the standouts. A great combination of quality food, professional service, and a location full of energy. No complaints, just a memorable Buenos Aires dining experience.

Steak house
Argentinian restaurant
Cabaña Las Lilas is an upscale steakhouse located in the historic red brick warehouse in Puerto Madero, Buenos Aires. It offers a variety of top-quality beef cuts from their own estancias, including Angus, Brahman, and Hereford. The restaurant's romantic waterfront setting and comfortable furnishings make it a popular spot for tourists looking to savor world-famous Argentinian beef prepared to perfection.
Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Best steak I had in BA, better than at Michelin starred Don Julio. The added-on all you can eat appetizers was amazing and a great deal, the only problem is self control to not fill up on it before the steak. The steak was juicy and so incredibly tender. The soufflé potatoes were recommended by our waiter and it was amazing. Highly recommend the potatoes.
Melissa H — Google review
I would NOT recommend this place despite all reviews and high prices. Best of our selection was salad and sweetbread/Mollejas. I did order T-bone(medium) which was $72000, and it was tough and chewy, i was so disappointed and sad. I thought it was me, but my family ordered flank steak(medium) was chewy as well. Service???? VERY SLOW, our waiter didn't come to us for 20 minutes. Side dishes i'd recommend, mushrooms. Our bill was $250,000 with 2 beers and no other alcohol. Great view on the water.

Very good service. Beef Tartar and Beef Capaccio are a must. Desert is surprisingly delicious. Best Fran I ever have and Apple Tatin is not too sweet. Highly recommend.

An exceptional service, great quality meat and well presented plates. High end quality and price. Service is good, wine choicd is good. An.excellwnt plaxe for business or for couples. The view into the marina is super. Late evening the space near the maruna becomes less lit, which can be romantic or can be a challenge to read the menu, or both! Its a special restarajnt foe special occassions

Fantastic steak restaurant with great ambience right in Puerto Madero. The food was nothing short of amazing, the meat cooked to perfection and the staff was attentive. As is customary here in Buenos Aires, the wine selection was large which made it easy for steak pairing. Definitely recommend coming to this restaurant if you have the chance!
Jan L — Google review
Cabaña Las Lilas restaurant, situated on the Puerto Madero Waterfront, holds a Michelin rating as of 2025. The atmosphere is delightful, the service is exceptional, and the steaks were outstanding, paired with a local Malbec wine, followed by ice cream and sorbet, and culminating with coffee. A truly memorable evening!
Greg S — Google review
My husband and I had the pleasure of dining at Cabaña Las Lilas, and let me tell you, it was nothing short of extraordinary. The Bife de Costillas Las Lilas was absolutely heavenly. It was cooked to perfection, with flavors so rich and satisfying that we came back for dinner just to relive the experience. My son even devoured my Wagyu burger, which is saying something! That being said, there's some room for improvement in the service. While the food was undeniably top-notch, the overall experience could benefit from more attention to detail when it comes to service. Cabaña Las Lilas is undoubtedly one of the most memorable meals I've ever had. The quality and taste of the dishes are truly on another level. We were recommended this place by a local who assured us we’d get the true Argentine meat-lover’s experience, and they didn’t disappoint. The atmosphere is lively, a mix of tourists and chic locals, and it stays buzzing both in the afternoon and evening. The restaurant itself is spacious, with sleek, contemporary decor, clean lines, and amber lighting that also lets in plenty of natural light. It’s a great place for families or large groups, though it’s not the intimate, romantic setting some might expect. What I loved was the extensive wine collection, which pairs beautifully with the wide range of meats offered. Some of the flavours (the condiments with the bread) brought me back to my hometown of Chicago, with subtle Italian influences that I truly appreciated. While the experience was fantastic overall, I think Cabaña Las Lilas would benefit from a more private, upscale dining option. A quieter, more intimate space could allow diners to slow down, savor the food, and enjoy the wine without the distraction of the busy crowd. This would elevate the experience even further. On a more critical note, the service left something to be desired. While the servers looked polished in their uniforms, and the chefs worked diligently in the open kitchen, there was a moment that made me uncomfortable. The Maître d’ made an inappropriate comment about my appearance, remarking that I looked “strong” and then referencing “Wakanda” out of nowhere. I’m still unsure what that was about, but it certainly detracted from what should’ve been a flawless experience. That said, the food alone makes Cabaña Las Lilas worth visiting. It’s a place where the flavors speak for themselves. Just be prepared for a lively environment and hope that your service experience is more in line with the quality of the meal.

Amazing food and experience. Tomahawk steak came with a fire show. Interactions felt a tiny bit cold but that's likely because of the language barrier on both sides. Still a great night had by all!

Restaurant
Aramburu Relais & Châteaux is a renowned restaurant in Buenos Aires, known for its elaborate and whimsical 19-course menu that offers a unique dining experience. Chef Gonzalo Aramburu's training with masters Martin Berasategui and Joel Robuchon is evident in the original dishes featuring foams, mousses, jellies, and spheres.
Everything was perfect. From the moment we sat down, to the very end 2.5 hours later we had a great time. It was really cool to be able to watch the kitchen cook, and everything we had was delicious. Going upstairs for desert at the end was a fun bonus too.

I must admit that I came with very high expectations and was ready to be disappointed. That was absolutely not the case from the moment we arrived we were greeted by the extremely nice host in that level of kindness followed for the rest of the night. We had a 15 course menu in each one was an absolute creative triumph. My husband is vegetarian and I am allergic to shellfish, but we were both presented with uniquely designed menu. The ambiance on the floor was like the movie The Menu, except our night ended in a better way on the second floor with wonderful desserts and cognac.
Shalom K — Google review
Life changing dining experience. Truly an elite restaurant worthy of the 2 star distinction. Menu changes seasonally with a wide selection of exquisite Argentinian wines. Vibe is a bit stuffy personally I prefer a bit of a livelier space but I totally understand their reasoning. Obviously very expensive but if you’re in CABA this is an incredible place for dinner.
Alex L — Google review
One of my best Michelin experiences. Every dish was creative, precise, and beautifully presented. The service was outstanding, and Chef Gonzalo Aramburu personally came to our table a memorable touch to an unforgettable evening.
Luiz F — Google review
I thought about making this review for days. Aramburu is nowadays one of the high end experiences that Buenos Aires has. I wont talk about the plates because it would ruin your experience. My only advice is that you have to go with the idea of trying something new, different, unique. Having michelin stars it doesn’t mean that is going to be the best food you have ever tried. Because food is not something tangible, it depends on your mood, on your feelings and memories on that expecific moment. Nevertheless I will guarantee you that is going to be an experience you will remember for years. Using local and stational food extracting 100% its potential to each ingredient. The service is beyond perfection, a gorgeous place. You must go.
Agustin C — Google review
Background: Aramburu is a Michelin two star restaurant located in Buenos Aires. We sat at the chef’s table which was to the side, facing the kitchen. This allowed us to watch some of the dishes being made and refined. Strengths: Great food, made reservations without any research on the menu and I was very happy with everything I was served. We were able to easily communicate being primarily English speakers. The servers were attentive and brought out our plates once we had completed the previous one, servers also kept our table tidy. When traveling I tend to not wear anything ostentatious, and was happy to not be made to feel out of place in a simple dress. Dessert service takes place upstairs which really allowed us to feel relaxed and not rushed after our meal. Weaknesses: While not a difficult location to find, we had to wait for someone to open the door to greet us, even though we had arrived promptly for our reservation. This left us to awkwardly stand outside wondering if the restaurant was indeed open. It is a bit dark in the restrooms. Purse accommodations: Accommodations were available in the form of a purse hanger. I would recommend to bring a shoulder bag. Overall: Strengths clearly outweigh the weaknesses, and I would highly recommend. The Michelin rating is deserved with their attention to detail. Notes: Please note that these photos are from April 2025. I did not select to do the optional wine pairing.
Korra C — Google review
Really underwhelming if you’ve been to a lot of good restaurants. How this place has 2 stars is beyond me? Maybe it’s because I was a solo diner but having been to multiple Michelin places not experienced something so overrated and disappointing. Was really looking forward as been to Noma 2x, Boraga in Chile, Azafran in Mendoza and El Papagayo in Cordoba (which doesn’t even have a Michelin rating) to name a few. This felt like a factory with very little personal attention and care. I opted for the full menu with wines ($400+), they served food without proper accompanying wine at one point and petit fours where tea which arrived well after I and already finished them. I was lucky being given an option not to move for dessert and chose not to as it looked like a cafeteria upstairs. In general it felt like it was all a bit rushed. The wines were good but I thought the main dish was too salty (and I love salt. Overall the food was not that much better than places I’d been for a fraction of the price. I had king crab in Santolla in Chile which was outstanding and am starting to believe the Michelin guide may be biased or not very good at keeping tabs on what they award. Overall the meal and wines were worth half the price (at most) - in my opinion. Will also add the toilet didn’t flush and only one toilet was available thereafter. Definitely not what I’d expect at this calibre and price range.

I was at the Aramburu just over a year ago and I had a really good time. As i was alone i asked to be seated right next to the entrance to the kitchen so was I was able to watch them. They took good care of me and explained me everything really well! I really enjoyed my time there!

Casa Cavia is a magnificent mansion in Palermo, Buenos Aires, that has been transformed into a multifaceted space. It houses a modern restaurant and bar with a charming garden, as well as a flower shop and publishing house. The cuisine is curated by Julieta Caruso, an experienced chef from the renowned Mugaritz restaurant in the Basque Country. The menu offers breakfast, lunch, afternoon snacks, and dinner options.
What a great evening for a peaceful and delicious dinner in Buenos Aires. Coming from San Francisco I wanted to eat as much Argentinian food as I could. The chef here is very creative and I ate some food that I never ate before. For example, the fish was grilled protection and then had a Sauce with the crunch coming from shaved cauliflower. It’s worth a nice visit and a relaxing evening. You can dress up or dress down. There’s even a little scene going on. This is one of the places to go.
David S — Google review
Lovely restaurant with a beautiful courtyard. Food-wise however, there are better restaurants in Palermo with less than half of their price. Also each portion is very small here as expected in fine dining restaurants. My steak was supposed to be medium rare, but it was a touch overcooked, therefore a little dry. Sourdough bread was nice and moist inside, but a bit too chewy outside. Traditional Argentinian dessert was beautiful. Service was fine, inattentive at times when the restaurant got busy. Overall, nice dining experience for the atmosphere but I was expecting better quality food from a Michelin restaurant.

Casa Cavia isn’t just a restaurant - it’s an experience. Nestled inside a beautifully restored 1920s mansion in Palermo Chico, this absolute gem blends gastronomy, design, literature, and art under one stunning roof. From the moment I arrived, I felt like “This would be good …” and so it was.

Absolutely stunning place, a renovated mansion turned restaurant. My friend and I ordered the tea for two, which came with an incredible amount of food for the price, and while everything was delicious, the highlight were the scone. I would return just for those. The staff was friendly and the heat lamps in the patio kept it from getting too cold.

✨ A Hidden Gem in Palermo Chico ✨ Nestled inside a stunning mansion in Palermo Chico, Casa Cavia feels like stepping into a dream where architecture, food, and culture blend seamlessly. It’s the kind of place that draws you in for lunch or coffee – and then makes you want to rearrange your day just to stay a little longer. The staff? Warm, welcoming, and ready to guide you through a menu that’s equal parts elegant and delicious. Each dish is a celebration of fresh, local ingredients – simple yet sophisticated. And while the food is incredible, the real magic happens in the back garden, where the ambiance steals the show. Think of it as more than a restaurant – it’s an experience. Casa Cavia carries that Michelin-worthy charm without feeling too formal. Honestly, I came for lunch before heading to Malba, but next time? I might visit Malba just because I’m already at Casa Cavia. 😏

When I arrived for my brunch reservation I was seated and waited for almost 30 minutes for someone to come over to ask if I would like something to drink. I finally got up and asked the lady at the coffee counter for help. I ordered the pasta with fava beans and peas and was quite disappointed. The pasta was overcooked and wet, the dish did not have any distinguishable flavor. The decor is beautiful and the outdoor area is a serene and beautiful place however the food and service are not what I had hoped and expected. I had very high expectations for a restaurant that gets high acclaim. I hope this was a one off experience. Perhaps brunch is not the time to go here.

Great service, delicious food, and truly wonderful atmosphere! This is a delightful, peaceful spot to stop for merienda. The rest of the menu looked very creative and enticing, as well, so I'll have to go back for a full meal. The prices are relatively high but seemed commensurate with the great quality food and experience as a whole. The staff was extremely friendly, warm, and welcoming. Highly recommended! EDIT: I went back for a light lunch, and I was absolutely blown away by what I ordered! The liláceas, vieiras tostadas y ajo blanco (a starter that I ordered for my main meal), was an explosion of freshness and deep flavor! I don't remember the last time I had a dish that truly made my mouth water just thinking about it. The individual ingredients were of excellent quality and were exquisitely prepared. I had the panna cotta de jengibre con cítricos y cedrón for dessert, which was wonderfully light and not too sweet with perfectly balanced flavors. The staff was, again, absolutely wonderful. What a great experience!

Since opening in 2013, it has become a popular spot for wine tastings and exploring Argentina's diverse wine regions with knowledgeable sommeliers. The bar offers tutored degustaciones to delve into the country's wine history and grape varieties.
This wine shop is truly a hidden gem 🍷 We were very confused thinking you needed a reservation, and almost didn't visit because of this. The website says there are tastings at 4:30pm and 6pm, but I promise you - just show up during there open hours and they'll accommodate you. They are so nice!! We tried our best to say hello and communicate in Spanish before asking if they spoke English, and to our relief they did! They are very passionate about the wine industry in Argentina and we learned so much while tasting several wines. The tasting itself is 4 wines with local cheeses, bread and olive oil to accompany it. However, I'm fairly certain we tasted closer to 6 or 7!

Was looking for a non touristy wine bar that could help me learn about Argentina wines and this place was amazing. The owner explained each one and the history behind the maker. I was looking for full bodied super dry and each one of these was exactly that. It wasn’t the standard wine tasting nor flight. They curated the selection based on the experience I was looking for. Did 6 wines and some small plates, all amazing.

What an unexpected delight! The mood is very chill, the decor is simple and charming. The person who served us was warm, welcoming, and very helpful. She walked us through the highlights of the wines-by-the-glass they had on offer in a very approachable way and easy to understand for someone like me who doesn’t drink a lot of wine. No one one in the staff was pushy or hovering, but at the same time were right there when we had questions, wanted more wine, etc. highly recommend.

Amazing experience. I was there early, and Eleonora and Abril were the most gracious of hosts. As a newly obsessed wine lover, Eleonora was super obliging in explaining all the wines I tried and generously let me sample some of the cool wines she thought I'd like. The food was incredible too; the paté was amazing. Will definitely go back whenever I'm back in town.

Why do you always find the best places on the last night before you have to leave a city? We spent one month in Buenos Aires and this is by far best place to try many wines from around Argentina by glass. Wines change every single day. The service is absolutely wonderful. Abril is a true gem of a human.

Honestly, the best wine experience in Buenos Aires. Not just the selection, but the expertise, the care, the service and the vibe. 20 out of ten. Any person that’s reviewed it as less is completely insane!!! Eleonora and staff are legendary. No two tastings are alike and I can’t wait to return:) Thank you!

Really great spot for wine and small plates! They always have different wine bottles open for you to try a different glass of wine, and will also recommend different ones based on what you’re eating. The cauliflower is a must try! Duck confit was lovely and the sweetbreads were good but a little salty. Super cute spot that I will return to! Free wifi and indoor and outdoor seating available!

I didn't know about the existence of goth sommeliers but there is April. Outstanding service, carismatic and full of knowledge. Your wine bar and her are truly argentinian treasures

Fine dining restaurant
Mishiguene is a restaurant that offers a modern take on Jewish immigrant cuisine in Buenos Aires. The chef, Tomas Kalika, aims to bring upscale Jewish dining to the city by presenting a menu that reflects Ashkenazi, Sephardic, Israeli, and Middle Eastern food traditions. The cozy ambiance of the restaurant is filled with animated crowds and adorned with photographs.
Fantastic tasting menu! I sat at the bar, and service was very attentive and prompt, the restaurant was beautiful and dimly lit. The tasting menu came with a welcome cocktail which was refreshing and I also opted for the wine pairing to go with the tasting menu. The flavors were big, bold and quite rich, the wine pairing was well done, and the plating was spectacular! After dessert they also included coffee or tea and petit fours arranged on a beautiful plate of aromatics. I loved the flavors of each course, but I will say the only one I had any critique on was the main course of the pastrami over risotto. The pastrami and the risotto were both rich and flavorful, and I loved each one on their own, but together it was a bit much. Since the pastrami was already on the salty side (as expected with pastrami), I would have preferred something lighter and with a more subtle or contrasting flavor to accompany it. Also, I never thought I would ever say something like this because I can eat a lot, but I actually struggled with the huge portion sizes for each course! Typically tasting menus leave me feeling just right or sometimes hungry (if the bites were too small) but each course here was like the size of a shared appetizer x 6! It didn’t help that the food here was so good that I ate the entire first two courses (plus some of the yummy fresh breads) and ended up being too full to finish the rest of my food and wine, that I could only handle a bite or two from the remaining 4 courses. Fortunately, they were kind enough to pack up my leftovers (who has leftovers from a tasting menu?!) because I wanted to enjoy the rest of it, and I certainly did at home today! TIP: If getting the tasting menu, come hungry and pace yourself, no matter how good everything is! It was totally worth what I paid for and I highly highly recommend this place!

Extremely expensive prices for mediocre food. The pastrami ribs costs ARS120,000 and described as “Our signature house recipe: beef ribs dry-cured for 10 days with salt herbs, and spices. Seasoned with ras el hanout, smoked for 4 hours over wood and steamed for 14 hours.” However, it tastes just very basic and too fatty. The risotto with truffles part was way better. The martini was the best part of the meal. Service is a big let down. We weren’t offered any bread although other tables were. Waiters seemed very annoyed even though we were the only diners at the restaurant. Service was also slow. Very slow. Overall there are so many better restaurants in BA. I wanted to like the food and concept but it’s just not worth it.

This well hidden Michelin Reataurant in Palermo is a real gem. It is immigrant Jewish cuisine made into an art, elevated with flavours that you would not really expect. Truly exceptional food. Service is friendly and diligent. Environment inside is modern chique and the terrace is a great place from November to April. Please try the entraña and the hinojo salad. Ultimately the star dish, which does not disappoint, is the Pastrami on the bone with bulgur risotto. Do make a reservation the place is always fully booked.

Reservations are easy online - booked several months in advance. The day of the host will contact you on WhatsApp with a generic message letting you know punctuality is important and that our reservation is only for 1.5 hours. Due to traffic unpredictability and rain and arrived 15 minutes early - while in the Uber I messaged them to ask if possible we could come in earlier due to the rain. No warm or anything in the response - 'Open 19hrs' that's it. When we got there all the staff greeted or made eye contact with us. The staff and servers had trouble understanding English and our main server spent more time chatting with his colleagues than attending to us - if they want us out in 1.5 hours - why does it take 10+ mins to get our check? Chicken hearts - cooked to perfection and sop up all the sauce. With every calorie and penny. The breads and hummus - nothing special. Good raisin Challah and the onion/chicken fat was good. The server said we had to order two entrees because they are too small to share. Untrue and we had a ton of leftovers. The second entree so forgettable I have a photo but forgot what we ate. The duck was rubbery - reduction was nice. Came with rice and veg. We were stuffed at this point but I always like to try it fresh before boxing it up. Good thing I did - the rice was RAW. Sorry 1 Michelin star or $ place, I have NEVER been served raw rice. They looked skeptical of our claim and minimally apologetic after it was confirmed by the kitchen. No discount, nothing complimentary to compensate us for the time lost - just recooked the rice (they prob doubled the portion?). Dark moody ambiance, the music was frantic and loud in the beginning but mellowed out later. Unique china sets. It was a lot of effort dining here - we felt like it was a favor to be allowed to dine here. Lack of attention - we felt the need to check our to-go bag and indeed it was missing the bread. I think the approach in the hospitality is lacking here and a touch of humility is needed.

Over-engineered food Food: All the food we took was different from what was stated in the menu, it was re-engineered. Like baba ganoush was not a paste, but a whole eggplant under tahini sauce. Latkis was a huge block. Vareniki are 6 pieces under a fist amount of fried onion. And everything was extremely salty, to the point I've choked. We did not finish all the main dishes and decided to not take the rest out. Service: it seemed nice, but I was a bit uncomfortable that the table was not cleaned after we finished the bread basket. When we asked for the bill the waiter started collecting dishes without asking if we have finished. And finally when we were leaving a waiter counted the money in front of us and stopped us to say that the tip is not included (we have left 200k with the bill of 189k). I guess a mistake but I felt uncomfortable staying in the middle and being questioned for the tip. For this prices I hope they can be nicer in the attitude, not only in smiles. Atmosphere: it was nice. We were sitting outside. I might be petty but again, candles were lit on the couple of tables, on the couple were not. I strongly believe that the overall impression is actually created by the small details. Still we had a good time. Overall, it's a mid-expensive place (189k for 4 bottles of water, 3 main dishes, 3 starters) which over complicates the food without delivery in taste. As always I suggest you to go and try yourself as everyone's taste buds are different or maybe it was an unlucky visit for me. Just don't have a lot of expectations.

Mishiguene is a must-visit! We tried the tasting menu, and every dish was outstanding. The service was impeccable, and the food—simply exceptional. The pastrami rivals the best from NYC, and the varenikes were delicious. A fantastic fusion of Ashkenazi and Israeli flavors with a modern twist. Totally recommend

Good experience for a fine dining restaurant. I liked the attention of the waiters. Their interpretation of classic dishes like hummus and babaganoush was very interesting. They were able to extract so much flavor and combine that with some other interesting ingredients. The 6 course menu funnily enough makes you too full. They could dial down on the dishes size by 15% as by the dessert I was almost easy to give up on eating. Good experience overall

Delicious creative food, lovely mixture of flavours and textures. Beautiful interior. Slow service. Upset they didn’t have two items they had listed on the menu. Good value for money. I wasn’t the biggest fan of the chocolate cake, felt it was too rich.

First of all, this is NOT a vegan restaurant. The marketing is a bit confusing because they talk about being plant based and it’s not. About half of the menu is fish, and they also use dairy yogurt on one dish. That said, we enjoyed the meal. The service was really great and the food was yummy. I’d go back if I was in the neighborhood again sometime.
Veronica — Google review
The place is good, we enjoyed the atmosphere and the food, but some things were weird. We ordered 3 starters: eggplant was very delicious, the one was alioli and mushrooms was amazing!!!! The avocado curry was good. We ordered two main dishes, the ravioli with mushrooms were fine, but the lion mushroom steak was veryyy spicy, it was not possible to eat, we gave up after trying one piece. We told about it to waiter and he removed the steak from our table, but included it to the bill…it was so weird they cooked uneatable food and made us pay for it, they didn’t offer any other solution like change the dish or make a discount, or remove it from the bill as well. Than writer asked us for tips…Ofcourse we didn’t tip him, it would be so strange to pay extra after we paid money for the dish we didn’t even eat. Also when we made a reservation we specified ”two people, both vegetarian, birthday celebration” when we came the waiter asked us how many people…if we have a food restrictions…why did we spend time for filling the form on the website if they didn’t even check it? And ofcourse there was nothing special for celebration… We were surprised they have fish because in Michelin guide they were marked as a veg place. It was smelly in the room bc of fish. Music was terrible like techno on the rural discotheque, too loud and too hard for the dinner. Drinks (moctales and combucha) were very tasty, we liked them a lot!

Sacro is an amazing spot in Buenos Aires — beautiful, thoughtful, and delicious. We went on a Sunday around noon and had a fantastic experience. The place is full of plants, beautifully designed, and has a warm, peaceful vibe. They let us stay with our dog in the inner patio, which was well-heated and super comfortable — a big plus! The menu is not huge, but it’s full of creative, well-balanced dishes. The avocado and eggplant starters were outstanding — flavorful, beautifully presented, and unique. You can tell there’s real care in the food and how it's served. Service was excellent — friendly, attentive, and professional without being pushy. The whole place feels intentional and well-run. Whether you're vegetarian, pescatarian, or just love great food and great spaces, Sacro is a must-visit in Buenos Aires. Highly recommended.

My wife and I came for dinner at a restaurant that is supposedly listed in the Michelin Guide. We ordered the following: two empanadas, curried cheese (some kind of cheese), I had the fish of the day, and my wife ordered grilled prawns. We also ordered water and two non-alcoholic cocktails. I was asked in what order we wanted the dishes served. I said: first the empanadas, then the cheese, and finally the main dishes. Here’s what happened. First, we received the empanadas. Then they brought the fish of the day and another dish we didn’t order. We asked where the cheese was — they said it was still being prepared. The waitress said she would just leave the other (incorrect) dish on the table. I didn’t understand the reasoning behind that, but she left it anyway. The dish just sat there. It was strange. My wife told me to go ahead and eat the fish so it wouldn’t get cold, so we did - one dish for two. Later, the waitress came back, said she would take away the incorrect dish, and left without it. Then she came and took away the incorrect dish. In a while they brought the grilled prawns and yet another dish — an eggplant — which we also didn’t order. We said again that we hadn’t ordered it. This was already the second mistake. They said sorry and took the dish back. No one really apologized. There were no complimentary items offered, no gesture of goodwill. Nothing. Frustrated by the situation, we refused the cheese. After eating the prawns, we asked for the bill. When it arrived, it included an extra dish that we hadn’t eaten. I asked where the fish of the day was, and they pointed to one of the items — but another fish dish was also listed. I said we didn’t eat two fish dishes. They started implying we had eaten both. I told them to check the cameras if they didn’t trust their customers. A young man left with a dissatisfied look, corrected the bill, returned, and charged us. Again, no apology. No compensation, no discount, no complimentary item. Nothing. This service is not Michelin Guide level by any standard. I won’t return to this restaurant, and I don’t recommend it to anyone. P.s. If Sacro staff think that after I ate something with a fork they can put it back dirty on the table so I can eat the next dish with it, how are you guys stay in Michelin Guide? P.s.s. We were served by tattooed red head waitress and a meiter skinny young man - guys it was horrible - I won’t forget your “trick” with the bill! Disgusting!

we came to the restaurant and ordered two appetizers and two hot dishes, as a result, the restaurant made a mistake twice with our dishes that we did not order, they also included them in the bill, although we did not touch them and they were removed from the table. after which the administrator tried to prove to us that we ate all these dishes. guys, this is terrible. how could this restaurant get into the Michelin guide. they did not even apologize to us, did not give us a discount. nothing! we will never come here again

Restaurante Corte Comedor is a casual eatery with a leafy terrace that specializes in grilled meat dishes. The restaurant's unique concept stems from its origins as a butcher shop, where they prioritize the traceability of their meat, ensuring they know the breed, upbringing, and feeding system of the animals they use. This approach allows them to utilize every part of the animal in their menu, showcasing a commitment to nose-to-tail dining.
A restaurant paired with a butcher shop is truly a winning formula. With top-quality ingredients and the perfect balance of fire and care, the result is outstanding. My ribeye was so incredible, it’s hard to think of anything that compares.

Refined yet relaxed place to have steak - the outdoor area had a nice relaxed atmosphere. We really enjoyed the side dishes and salads too. The service was great and waiters friendly. Much better place for steak than many of the more tourist focused places in the city.

This restaurant is easy to get you from The Belgrano C train station. Reservations require a guarantee payment in case of no show. We asked for the Bife de Chorizo to be cooked Punto and the Ojo de Bife con hueso to be jugoso. The Ojo de Bife was served in a fancy sizzling fashion. Both cuts were tough and in our opinion chewy and over cooked. The salads were amazing. We had a peach tomato basil salad with a dressing that was divine. The kale salad was also delicious. It seems as though their ensaladas are seasonal, which makes the fresh and delicious. Other sides: the bread was delicious. The empanadas were really good. The french fries were cut correctly. We would definitely go back for the salads and sides!

The food was lovely but served rapid fire. We were barely halfway through eating the entrees before the main was brought to the table. I would have expected more attention to detail at this quality of restaurant and it made the experience feel like they were rushing us out to get the table back. And then its like they forgot us because we couldn't get their attention to request the check...then when we finally did ask for it, they never brought it. The entrees (tartare and croquettes) were excellent, the meat great, the vegetable sides (the leek and the broccoli) were ok.

Airport
Aeroparque Internacional Jorge Newbery is a bustling airport in Argentina, serving domestic flights and international routes to and from Uruguay, Brazil, Chile, and Paraguay. Located close to downtown Buenos Aires, it offers convenient access for travelers. The airport provides a smooth experience with efficient security procedures and plenty of snack options. Despite its relatively small size with only 7 gates, the modern facility features free Wi-Fi, charging stations, basic restaurants, and stores.
Clean airport, and once you stepped out, you’ll find a lovely bay to walk around. I agree, there are loads of people using this airport. Very busy indeed.

If I could describe Argentina’s airport in one word, it’s queue… 🙈😂😅 Queues everywhere—at Duty Free, for boarding, in the restrooms, and even to buy a water. The restaurants are packed, and the noise level is high. I flew on a Saturday, which probably made it worse, but the airport is small for the volume of passengers it handles. If you’re stuck waiting for more than two hours, good luck—you might go crazy from the noise and lack of space. Best to arrive as late as possible, just in time to check in and get through security. Duty Free is a small. Prices are high, and there’s really no point in buying anything unless you’re desperate🤣😂. On the bright side, the staff are very polite❤️ and helpful. The food options are decent and not overpriced. One bar I discover was Fausto. It looks a bit messy and poorly maintained, but it’s one of the quiet spots in the entire airport, giving a break from all the madness. I found a healthy yogurt for 3,800 pesos—big cup, no sugar, and super tasty. ❤️❤️❤️Definitely a highlight! Restrooms? Clean, but the queues are ridiculous. 😱 In summary, expect crowds, small wins like perfect location and friendly staff.

Beautiful airport but not foreigner friendly at all. 1. Money changer is not at the arrival hall, it’s at the departure hall 2. The bank has only one counter in operation 3. None of the money changer signs are in English 4. There are buses outside but no information where to buy the tickets or card

Aeroparque is a small, convenient airport located just 2 km from downtown Buenos Aires, making it ideal for domestic flights and some regional international routes. It’s easy to navigate, but at night, options like stores and food points can be limited. The proximity to the city is a huge plus, but during peak hours, it can get crowded. Overall, it’s a solid choice for short trips within Argentina or nearby countries, though it’s not as well-equipped for late-night travel as other airports.

Flew roundtrip to Córdoba from Aeroparque Internacional Jorge Newbery, and overall, it was a smooth experience. The airport is conveniently located close to the city, making it much easier to get in and out compared to Ezeiza. The check-in process was efficient, and security lines moved quickly. The terminal itself is modern, with decent dining and shopping options. Boarding was well-organized, and flights departed on time. The only downside is that it can get quite crowded, especially during peak hours, and finding a good seat in the waiting areas can be challenging. Also, some areas could use better signage for first-time travelers. Still, for domestic flights, AEP is a great choice for its location and efficiency. Would definitely fly through here again!

Actually, I like this airport. The lower floor (check-in) is crowded but the upper floor is less. I hope my conception won't change in the next few times I am going to be here. Accidentally, I got a long waiting time and I survived. I found here my favorite cafe "Martin Café". I got enough time to explore the airport and it's immediate neighborhood. See my pictures.

Plane landed in the rain, and we had to take the slippery steps down the jetway, on the rain, and they did not have enough employees to assist the elderly. And then, they filled up the bus, and didn’t realize it was full, and made several people walk…back up…the metal steps to the airplane, in the rain as other people were trying to get off of the airplane, so passengers were bunched up at the entrance to the airplane and a lot of people were just standing on the slippery steps in the rain trying to get back up to the airplane. These are metal steps. It was not safe. A bit of a disaster and could be really quite dangerous for an older population. They should have made sure that everyone who had a cane or needed assistance was able to safely navigate the wet metal steps with someone helping and/or allowed everyone to exit the steps slowly. There also should’ve been either a second bus waiting, or an employee (accurately!) counting the amount of passengers that were getting on the bus, so that they knew that it was full and did not have to send people back up a slippery flight of steps where they were meeting other people trying to come down the steps! I tried to take a photo from the bus, but it was raining pretty hard, and it is difficult to see. I’m just glad nobody fell!

This airport needs a massive update. Small, extremely crowded, hot, signs and staff only in Spanish, parking lots are the worst of the worst - no sign at all to tell you where rentals are supposed to be dropped off. Traffic jams and chaos.

Ezeiza International Airport, officially known as Ministro Pistarini International Airport, is the main gateway to Argentina and serves as a bustling hub for travelers heading to Buenos Aires. Located about 37 kilometers from the city center, this high-traffic airport features three terminals and boasts impressive facilities that accommodate over 8 million passengers each year. With its two runways, Ezeiza is a vital base for Aerolineas Argentinas and connects visitors to various destinations across South America.
Very luxury and modern airports ,clean and easy to move. All the employees starting from the check ,security ,immigration and lounges are kind and nice ,designated areas for kids to play. Many good venues and stores. 5 stars well deserved

A modern, welll designed, and busy international and domestic airport. You will find here many well known restaurants. Unfortunately, it's hard to find available electric outlets for charging your dying phone.
Piotr K — Google review
Ezeiza International Airport is one of the main gateways to Argentina, but it has room for improvement. The airport layout is modern, and the international terminal is fairly clean and organized. Immigration can be hit or miss—sometimes fast, sometimes painfully slow, depending on arrival times. The biggest downside is the lack of efficient signage and staff assistance. If you’re not familiar with the airport, finding your way around can be confusing. Food and shopping options are decent but overpriced. Also, Wi-Fi is unreliable at times, which can be frustrating if you need to stay connected. On the positive side, security and customs are generally smooth, and baggage claim is fairly efficient. However, transportation options could be better—taxis are expensive, and public transit connections aren’t as seamless as in other major international airports. Overall, Ezeiza gets the job done, but it could improve in terms of passenger experience and amenities.

Sept.25: arrived early morning @Buenos Aires International Airport (EZE). It's big & well maintained with lots of food stalls. Immigration was crowded @time of arrival. It took about 35-45 minutes to get through @7AM. Immigration took eye scan with picture & from right hand point finger they took an electronic print; no longer stamp in passport.

Ezeiza International Airport is one of two airports serving the capital, and the largest in Argentina. It was the most used airport on our Antarctic: first and last, the last, and everything in between, and the jump off point to and from Ushuaia & Rio de Janeiro. Nothing out of ordinary, except the Centurion Lounge is badly managed - not eze's fault but an experience. We've a seven hour layover from GIG (Rio de Janeiro), the lounge manager insisted that we could only use it three hour prior to our departure. In fact, Amex has no time limit for transfer passengers.

Buenos Aires Airport is a pretty good airport overall — clean, organized, and easy to get around. The staff are friendly and everything runs quite smoothly, from check-in to boarding. However, the restaurants could definitely use some improvement. There aren’t many good options, and the quality of the food doesn’t really match the rest of the airport. If they invested in better dining choices, it would make the travel experience much nicer. Still, it’s a comfortable and pleasant airport to fly through.

EZE International has an extreme makeover to face the new age of modern architecture. The wide open space check in lobby is inviting and welcoming. It is considered as an eye opening architectural feat and marvel. The wishbone structure roof top before immigration checkpoint is stunningly impressive.
