Casito Mediterraneo

Mediterranean restaurant
Nestled by the picturesque harbor and surrounded by vibrant flower-filled streets, Casito Mediterraneo offers a charming dining experience in Puerto de Mogan. This intimate restaurant boasts sleek gray and beige decor, beautifully complemented by lush floral arrangements. Diners can enjoy their meals on the terrace while taking in stunning views of the boats bobbing gently in the harbor. Specializing in fresh seafood, Casito Mediterraneo prides itself on using local ingredients to create delectable dishes that highlight regional flavors.
Fantastic food and service! The tuna tartar was excellent and the lobster cappuccino was one of the best dishes I have ever tasted. Also the rabbit was great, and I really enjoyed the wines I was recommended with the dishes. The desserts looked fabulous as well, but I simply had no more room, since the main course was huge. 😄 One of the best meals I have ever had, thoroughly recommended!

Supernice location directly next to the harbour. Great sympathetic service and the food was excellent. We had the homemade bread with garlic mayonnaise and the tomato buratta salad as a start. Turned out to be pretty big already (and I will from now on always combine Ajioli with Peanuts..). Afterwards we had Salmon and Iberico cheeks. Although the fish and the meat was great my secret champion was the pumpkin-potato purée. Will definitely try this at home. Deserts looked great but we were simply physically not able to ear more. Great recommendation!

What a fabulous find! The food was exceptional, location was stunning and the service was wonderful. This young couple deserve all the success I'm sure they will have. Particular mention to the lobster bisque and soup of the day which was lemongrass, they really were phenomenal! We will be back several times before we have to come home.
Paula T — Google review
Been there twice and the food was great. Although I tried mainly tapas, they were very good and served with great detail. The plating was impeccable, with care about the look of the plates, the contrast between the plates and the powder used to garnish the edges. The tapas with baked bread and green ball peppers was particularly good and visually pleasing. Reservation is recommended, as it is on the main promenade of Puerto Mogan. Give it a try 😉
Sebastian V — Google review
I visited with my wife and we had an absolutely amazing time. From the moment we arrived, the service was incredibly warm, welcoming, and kind — you can truly feel the care in every interaction. The food was outstanding — full of flavor, beautifully presented, and clearly made with love using fresh, local ingredients. What I liked most is that you can choose every dish as a tapa, which makes it perfect for sharing and trying many different flavors. It really elevated the whole experience and made every bite exciting. We enjoyed it so much, we came back the very next day without hesitation. A truly memorable experience we’ll never forget. Highly recommended!

You'll walk along the shoreline and this restaurant is bound to be the least busy, but dont let that faze you. We booked and watched people being turned away. Fantastic food, great service. Kids options too (smaller portions)
Gemma B — Google review
This place has a very beautiful and relaxing atmosphere. The service was excellent and the waitress was very friendly. We got some Tapas, 3 different ones and all of them were super delicious and very good looking. I recommend to get the tuna tartar and the pan casito. The desserts are homemade and tasty. Give this place a try you won’t regret it.
Simone Z — Google review
Lovely restaurant, we booked based on reviews and was not disappointed at all. The food was stunning, huge portions and amazing value for money. Lovely waitress serving us and very friendly, happy atmosphere. Recommend to book so you’re not disappointed as it got quite busy, booking is as easy as a WhatsApp message !

Restaurante Jamonal de Mogán

Mentioned on

Restaurant
Cheese shop
Nestled in the charming backstreets of Puerto de Mogán, Restaurante Jamonal de Mogán stands out as a delightful gem that goes beyond being just a wine bar. This inviting spot boasts an impressive selection of food and drink, highlighted by its stunning display of Spanish wines and hanging Iberian hams. Guests can savor their meals on the terrace, enjoying the ambiance around rustic barrels.
Enjoyed a delicious meal here. First came in 2022...it was as good as we remember, the gourmet burgers are excellent. Washed down with a very nice Sangria and an ice creme brulee. We are still enjoying the black volcanic salt (€9) at home we bought 2 years ago....put a pinch in olive oil and dip in with bread! Make sure you buy it there, I cant find it online!
Christine R — Google review
Brilliant. Warm attentive service. Authentic and high quality food and wine. The Secreto was one of the best I’ve ever had - simply but perfectly cooked and presented. Steak with tamarind and chilli was delicious. Even the olives were great. We chose to dine here twice and both experiences didn’t disappoint. Highly recommended.
Jake H — Google review
6 of us had a meal here on 03/07/25, 2 of which were our small children (3 and 1) who had already had a meal back at our hotel. So they didn’t feel left out while the adults ate, we brought them a portion of chips (Round potatoes, visible in the corner of my photo) each. The food was delicious and I would struggle to find fault with the quality, flavours or portions; I had the baked rice with Iberian ham, Parmesan, cream and mushrooms, along with the sharing platter of Iberian meat to start that I had alongside my husband. Again, this was delicious with a fantastic, generous portion. However, when the bill was produced, we were horrified that the bowls of chipped potatoes cost €9 EACH. These were not advertised on the menu and the cost was not brought to any of our attentions at the time of ordering which I’m quite frankly disgusted about. I feel that we were likely taken advantage of as tourists here which is a real shame as overall, we loved the food and the atmosphere. 3* based on the quality of the food but that I have given very begrudgingly. Despite how good the food was, I wouldn’t come back or recommend on the principle of the lack of transparency about paying €18 for two bowls of potatoes!
Alexandra L — Google review
The meat was superb. But the service was not up to the task. We waited way to long for both the starter and main course. And we asked for sauce to the meat, and never got it.
Lasse S — Google review
Such a lovely lunch spot! The food was fresh and so tasty. We ordered mix tapas for 2 and a tuna salad to share with a side of bread and olive oil which was more than enough.
Nicole W — Google review
Nice place with very tasty meals. I can recommend it!

What a difference a year makes! Please check the bill at the end of the meal! We came here last year and had a wonderful experience with good food, drink and a passionate waiter. We returned this year and had a different experience. The food was very tasty but it was ruined by being ripped off. We asked for bottled water. When we tasted it, it was very salty like the tap water. We couldn't drink it, and didn't want to. When we queried this we were told it was mineral water!!!!!! And changed for it! When we got the bill at the end of the meal, the bill was passed to my wife while the card machine was placed in front of me without the chance to check the bill. As the card payment went through my wife raised that we had been charged double for an item. On querying this the bill was hastily taken away. When the waitress returned we were informed two items had been doubled (€15) As paid on Google Pay we were able to show what had gone through, see the cancellation and the amended payment. This was after a number of phone calls from the Waitress to somebody not there!

Cofradía de Pescadores Mogán

$$$$affordable
Seafood restaurant
Nestled in the charming harbor of Mogán, the Cofradía de Pescadores Mogán offers a delightful escape from the bustling tourist spots. This elegant eatery is renowned for its fresh seafood, with dishes like paella and garlic prawns often highlighted as standouts. Guests appreciate the attentive service provided by staff members like Egor and Sergio, who ensure a memorable dining experience.
Amazing place, tucked away from the touristy spots by the dock! Fresh seafood, outstanding flavours, and great service. We enjoyed every dish and our time overlooking Mogán village.
Sam B — Google review
My sole was awful, and I couldn’t even be bothered to say anything to them. The side salad served with the meal was terrible. The place itself is fine, but I imagine if I had complained, they might have made more of an effort. Still, I really couldn’t be bothered. Not recommended for food quality.
Andrew O — Google review
This little place next to the harbour is a bit out of the way and is right next to fishing boats. The fresh fish dish of the day was outstanding. The prawns were equally good. Nice drop of dry white wine from the islands. The food may not look fancy but the flavour and freshness completely makes up for it
Stephen V — Google review
We'd read a lot of bad reviews, but based on reviews from friends, we walked in tonight and had a great meal and fantasic service by the very professoinal staff. They know how to cook fish at that place!
Lars M — Google review
A Hidden Gem in Puerto de Mogán! We had the most wonderful dining experience here, truly a hidden gem! The food was absolutely outstanding. Fresh, beautifully prepared, and full of flavour. The chef’s fish of the day was a real standout — perfectly cooked, melt-in-the-mouth, and served with care and creativity. Service was warm, friendly, and attentive without being intrusive. You can really feel the pride the staff take in making sure you have a great experience. It’s also incredible value for money — especially considering the quality of the food and the setting. The location is peaceful and quiet, tucked away with a stunning view over Puerto de Mogán. It’s the perfect spot to relax and enjoy a memorable meal away from the crowds. Highly recommended — we’ll definitely be back!
Holly M — Google review
Visited the place as it was recommended by local people and was blown away of the great service, fresh fish and seafood. Very great value for money.
Istvan-Zsolt S — Google review
Black rice and lobster was so good. Don’t understand why the reviews are not higher. Away from the horribly busy pier restaurants, full of locals, lovely views.
Laurna B — Google review
Food was beautiful, cooked to perfection. I had fish, my guest had steak. The service was terrible, had to approach "waiter" for a table, grudgingly gave us one. Shoddy service throughout the meal. I am working class, not a snob, but I know what's right & wrong ! We were disappointed. Would not return here ever, lots of great restaurants here without going to this overpriced, mediocre Cafe.

I Love Mogán is a charming restaurant located in the beautiful harbor, offering some of the best fish dishes. The staff provides top-notch service and helps patrons choose from the fresh catch of the day. The seafood is prepared exceptionally well, with a focus on freshness and quality. The location offers a lovely view of the harbor, adding to the overall dining experience. Additionally, guests can enjoy delicious desserts to round off their meal.
the food here was absolutely insanely good! Every single dish we tried was incredible – from the fresh fish to the delicious desserts, everything was full of flavor and perfectly prepared. You can really taste the quality and love in the cooking. The service was just as amazing, super friendly and attentive staff who made us feel really welcome. One of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time. Highly recommended!

The reviews weren't lying about this being a top-tier place in Puerto Mogan, I thought they were fishing for reviews before trying it out myself (they were not). Beautifully presented dishes that taste amazing, topped with professional good service. Must try their lemon dessert and burrata with peach. Their oysters were unique as they were served with a hint of fruit. Bonus points for serving fish/seafood of the day for one person ☺️
K — Google review
We had a lovely dinner, great atmosphere and service. Special attention and help was given to our son who's sometimes a picky eater. The staff was super friendly and helpful.
Lorenzo R — Google review
One of our favourite restaurants on the island, and I’ve been coming here for 30+ years. The service was fantastic and the quality of the food was excellent. The fish was the best we have had and the whole ambiance was romantic and a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend booking.
Kerry M — Google review
Everything about our dinner was just perfect. We picked out the fish which was served with prawns, mussels and vegetables on the side. The quality was amazing, the view above the harbour was amazing, the wine was amazing. We highly recommend this place!
Laura L — Google review
Just had the most incredible meal at I Love Mogan in Gran Canaria. The fresh fish was absolutely amazing – we had the local Canarian Churn which was out of this world, along with an octopus starter that was cooked to perfection. Honestly, it’s the best fish meal I’ve had in years, and we always make a point of eating fresh fish when we travel. If you’re in the area, you absolutely need to visit this place. A special mention to Mohammed, who served us so brilliantly – friendly, attentive, and made the experience even better. Highly recommend!
Gary W — Google review
I had a wonderful experience thanks to Omar and Mohammed, who were both incredibly professional and made me feel very welcome. The food was excellent, and the place offers a spectacular view. Highly recommended!

Patio Canario

Mentioned on

$$$$affordable
Restaurant
Patio Canario is a restaurant located in the urbanization of Puerto de Mogán, in the province of Gran Canaria, with a focus on Canary cuisine. It features dishes that mix traditional Spanish food with influences from African and South American cooking, as well as imported Spanish dishes. The real taste of Gran Canaria can be enjoyed only at Patio Canario where you can enjoy their famous Paella and a variety of fish dishes.
After spending a day in Puerto de Mogan we decided to have dinner before getting the water taxi home. We shared a wonderful mixed paella with prawns, mussels, squid, sea bass, chicken and rabbit. A couple of drinks each and 2 coffees to round off a great meal and all for €75. This place has its own wee atmosphere with gentle music playing in the background and very friendly and effiecient stsff to serve you. Would I come back to this resteraunt, absolutely. There are lots of lovely looking eateries here but this is the only one we really tried, and it was well worth the visit.
Ronnie K — Google review
Food was fine, a bit overly priced for what it was and the views of the back of boats is all you get as a view of the harbour etc I know the restaurant can't do anything about that but I'm just pointing it out as a few other reviews on here mention how great the view is and one mentions seeing the sunset, which unless they mean the colour of the sky rather than the sun setting is not possible due to buildings being in the way. Again not anything the restaurant can do anything about I'm just commenting on the other reviews and being factual
Steve M — Google review
Amazing food, about as good as it can get. Spaghetti with lobster was awesome, very generous portion, full of seafood in a light tomato sauce and crowned with a lobster complete with the tools to do it justice. Great wine pairing too as recommended by the brilliant waitress. Put it on your bucket list…
Stuart H — Google review
It was a very nice experience. Went after our swim with the intention of trying paella for the first time. We also tried the prawns with garlic and octopus ropavieja as starters. Everything was amazing, very tasty and the staff very helpful to guide us through the menu. Also the table we happened to have was very nice. Would totally recommend when visiting Puerto de Mogán!
Gizela A — Google review
Lovely, friendly service. Tasty food (kid’s chicken nuggets were poor but the rest of the food was great. A lovely lunch for 4 of us including drinks, 2 desserts and a coffee for 120€ plus tip.
Anna M — Google review
Just a stunning location, right on the marina, food was definitely more authentic than the other restaurants on the same stretch of the Marina. The grilled Octapus is a must try, as is the Specialities section of the menu. You will not be disappointed with the Fish and Seafood Caserol bring your appetite. Looking around, there were non stop orders for the Paella and Steak clearly loved dishes. If you love wine then speak to the staff who are well versed in the different options to pair with your food. Overall just great food and service!!!!!!!
AN — Google review
Nice and cozy atmosphere; the outside ambience is what made us decide to sit and eat here. However, we had a very bad experience. Although the food was okey (great clams and seafood soup, a bit disappointing the mix grill of seafood as the squid was a bit gummy); you have to be very careful as there’s someone in the restaurant who likes to make things disappear from the tables. We forgot a pair of sunglasses on the table (we were the last ones to leave the restaurant at night) and as soon as we came back to claim them the day after, no one was able to help us. Apparently they forgot even who was the person that cleaned the table 9 hours prior. If you decide to stop by, keep an eye out and remember to bring your things with you, if you have to use the bathroom! 🙌🏽

Lovely chilled environment, friendly welcome and great service throughout. The food was high quality and well presented.

Sol & Luna

$$$$affordable
Restaurant
Tapas bar
Sol & Luna is a beautiful restaurant located in a stunning setting with views of the harbor and sea. The atmosphere is relaxed, and the staff are attentive and accommodating, especially with children. The menu offers a variety of delicious dishes, including Caesar salad, toasted sandwiches, smoked cheese from Gran Canaria with tomato and orange jam, crispy chicken rolls, and wrinkled potatoes with green and spicy mojo sauces.
We walked here by chance and were very PLEASANTLY surprised. Not your usual Playa Mogan menu, far superior. We went here twice.. so good. Second time: we had the tuna tartare, fois gras and buratta and to be plain: it was excellent! Best place after the Michelin star restaurant at Hotel Mogan Playa!
Sanna G — Google review
I've never been to a restaurant that cares so much about their customers as this place. The gentleman who showed us to our table was so attentive, he made sure we were happy and everything was ok. That alone is enough to leave a positive review. However, the food was also incredible too. I wish I had taken more photos, but I got carried away with how delicious the food was and got tucked into my food instead of taking lots of pics, but I did snap a few. Try the scallops and the croquettes. They are out of this world. This is a restaurant that truly cares about the experience people receive. I could not ask for more. After eating here I discovered that the restaurant has been open since 1985. The gentleman who showed us to our seat is called Fernando and his family has owned the restaurant since sit opened. The passion he has for making sure everybody has a good dining experience shines through. This is a very special place. Give it a try. You'll love it.
Gordon C — Google review
This was a mixed experience. The restaurant is renowned for its great tapas, a good reason to spend an evening there. The atmosphere was characterized by a bustle: Too many tables on the porch so the waiters got constantly caught on the chairs. In addition, the service was over-optimized to maximize the table occupancy. The staff was friendly and made a good job. Food quality was okay. But the sautéed gambas were insolent, you get 5 (!) gambas for 15,60€. And most of the dish is waste. Disappointing. I cannot recommend this place.
Dirk S — Google review
We loved this place so much we came back two days later! The food is fresh and delicious and I can't overstate how kind and friendly the staff here are. The restaurant sits right on the port but away from the main square so it was bustling but not absolutely rammed. You must try the smoked cheese and the scallops!
Chloe S — Google review
Staff were friendly and helpful. Service efficient and the food was very impressive. Good presentation/fresh produce. We did spend €80 on tapas and a drink each but on the whole we though it was good value, considering it's location overlooking the port.
Harvey M — Google review
A beautifully family run restaurant sat right on the marina. Absolutely stunning fresh and delicious food. Incredibly friendly and welcoming staff!!! This is a restaurant you must eat at, it will have you going back again and again with the wide range of dishes and drinks.

Restaurante Sol & Luna is a Culinary Gem with Exceptional Tapas and Service. If you're looking for an unforgettable dining experience in a prime location, Restaurante Sol & Luna is an absolute must-visit. Nestled in a vibrant yet charming area, this restaurant offers not only a fantastic atmosphere but also some of the most delicious tapas I’ve ever had the pleasure of tasting. A Tapas Lover’s Dream, From the moment the first dish arrived, it was clear that Sol & Luna takes its cuisine seriously. The tapas selection was fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. Standouts included: Patatas Bravas, Crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, with a perfectly spiced brava sauce. Gambas al Ajillo, Succulent shrimp bathed in garlic-infused olive oil, bursting with flavour. Croquetas de Jamón, Creamy, rich, and packed with savory Iberian ham. Pulpo a la Gallega, Tender octopus with smoky paprika and a perfect touch of sea salt. Each dish was a testament to the chef’s skill and attention to detail. The ingredients were clearly high-quality, and the flavours were balanced to perfection. Impeccable Service What truly elevated the experience was the exceptional service. The staff were attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable, offering excellent recommendations for both food and wine pairings. They made sure every need was met without being intrusive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Prime Location & Ambiance Located in a bustling yet picturesque area, Sol & Luna boasts a chic and inviting ambiance. Whether you choose to sit inside, where the décor blends modern and rustic charm, or outside on their charming terrace, the setting is perfect for romantic dinners, group gatherings, or casual drinks with friends. Final Verdict: Restaurante Sol & Luna delivers on every level, outstanding tapas, top-notch service, and a prime location that makes it a standout dining destination. Whether you're a local or a visitor, this restaurant is well worth a visit (or several!). Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ (5/5) Highly recommended for anyone who appreciates authentic, flavorful tapas in a delightful setting! Will definitely be returning soon!

Italian restaurant
Pizza restaurant
La Cucina is a traditional Italian restaurant located in a charming and intimate setting with a great view of the sea. The chef/owner's singing adds to the delightful atmosphere. The food is superb, reasonably priced, and the service is attentive. Guests can enjoy dishes like bruschetta, ravioli with seafood, and delicious pizzas. The enthusiastic staff ensures that meals are served swiftly and with cheerfulness.
Delicious food, as any good Italian restaurant would serve. It is managed by a Napoletan family, father (the cook) and sons (they help with the serving of food). Excellent pizza and lasagna, especially the vegetarian options, and the pasta is also great 😃
Sebastian V — Google review
We had the pleasure of dining at a small Italian restaurant, where the food was exceptional. The cook added a unique and enjoyable touch by singing along to Italian music, creating a lively atmosphere. We dined outside, enjoying the ambiance of a typical Mogán street. The service was excellent, with no delays and high standards throughout. Tip: Be sure to book in advance, as the restaurant can get busy, and you might need to return another time.
Jorge D — Google review
Charming little Italian up a side street on edge of old town. Service warm & friendly. Managed to walk up and get a table for four outside and looking down to the sea - with sound and smells of kitchen. We had garlic bread, bruschetta and pasta dishes. Food & house wine was decent and good value for money in Mogan.
Jake H — Google review
This is a wonderful place to eat and enjoy pizza and pasta dishes. Good selection of wine. Lovely friendly staff in an informal setting. We first came 2 years ago and it is the same. If you dont book (6pm or 7:30pm) you will not get a table it is that popular. The chef will sing while he is cooking. It just makes you smile. Leave room for the tiramisu or panna cotta...both delicious. Closed on Fridays. We ate here twice it is that good.
Christine R — Google review
Have been coming to PdM for years but this was our first time at LaCucina. It won’t be our last. Have already booked for another night. Must stress you need to book ahead. It’s a wonderfully intimate yet side street restaurant with great view to the sea. The food is simply superb. The chef/owner singing as he cooks is a bonus. It’s also very reasonably priced. We shared a bruschetta as didn’t want to spoil the main. We then had one ravioli with seafood and a pizza which we shared. (They halved each dish to make it easy for us). The pizzas are very thin based which I loved. My wife mentioned she’d never seen me eat all the pizza crusts before anywhere. Then finished with panacotta and tiramisu. Check it out. You’ll be glad you did.
Graham W — Google review
I wish i came here earlier. The food is terrific!! It is likely that you need to book in advance to be able to eat. They have take away option which i highly recommend you do to not miss out on the amazing Italian cuisine. Very nice tiramisu. Not to mention, the menu is reasonably priced.

Small but very nice pizzeria near the harbor. The staff is very friendly, nice and attentive. The pizza was excellent! We had 3 different pizzas, all of them were very, very tasty. A nice and cozy atmosphere rounds off the visit. I can absolutely recommend the visit and we would love to come back.

Every time I’m in Puerto de Mogan I have a lunch here and they never disappoint. The seafood was always fresh and pasta never overcooked. You can’t go wrong with their tiramisu. They deserve plus points for being away from the crowded beach area.

La Linterna is a steakhouse and seafood restaurant in the heart of Puerto de Mogan on Gran Canaria, Spain. It features an international drinks menu and outdoor seating. The restaurant accepts American Express, Mastercard and Visa.
visited here for a quick lunch whilst visiting mogan. Food better than expected and large portions, Service good and prices reasonable except soft drinks which I felt was overpriced at 3.50 for a can. would visit again if ever in the area.

Restaurante La Linterna is one of the many dining options located along the beachfront of Puerto de Mogán. It offers a varied menu with a good selection of both small plates and larger main dishes, catering to different appetites and preferences. The portions are generous without being overwhelming, and the food is well-prepared and satisfying. The service is friendly and efficient, with staff who are attentive without being intrusive. They make an effort to ensure you feel comfortable, which adds to the overall experience. It’s clear they care about providing a pleasant visit for their guests. The restaurant’s location on the beach is a definite plus, providing a relaxed atmosphere that’s ideal for a casual meal. You can enjoy the coastal breeze and the sound of the waves in a setting that feels calm and inviting. Restaurante La Linterna is a solid choice if you’re looking for a straightforward, enjoyable meal by the water.
Jan H — Google review
Restaurant looks good and the staff friendly, however the food wasn't so great. Over done meat that was tough to cut and eat. The apply of sauce over the top didn't help either. Some of the family had the chips which were over cooked and hard. Service was generally slow and they even tried taking plates before one of us had finished our starters. Then just kept looking at plates when finished mains not clearing them away in a reasonable time. Ignore you when asking for the bill. Probably the worst restaurant of our week here. My recommendation is go somewhere else for your meal.
Max H — Google review
The Mexican food was very good but the steak we had was not the Tomahawk as advertised rather a typical chuleton. It was a bit chewy and tough...but other than that they are nice guys.
Kristine D — Google review
The most reasonable and delicious restaurant in Gran Canaria. I had proper King prawns with €10 euros. With only €5.9, you can get steak sandwiches with chips. What an amazing meal! Compared to mainland of Spain, I was disappointed with the food here. But I was finally satisfied with this restaurant 😋 I paid €17 in Puerto Rico - but It wasn't the proper king prawns (without shells and garlic sauce .. just Ok) highly recommended here! Some people think Mogàn is expensive-but not here! We paid €20 including drinks.

Good food. Good gluten free options. Close to the beach. There were a ton of flies unfortunately. Maybe it would be nice if the French fries they used were a better quality, as well as ketchup, condiments etc....

Restaurante N'ENOTECA

Italian restaurant
N'ENOTECA is a popular Italian restaurant in Puerto de Mogan on the island of Gran Canaria. The food is highly praised for its pasta dishes, including carbonara and octopus. It also offers several other mouth-watering Italian dishes such as mortadella, beef brisket, and melanzane. Reservations are recommended, but it is also suitable for walk-ins. A full bar serves drinks and wine, so it's perfect for any occasion.
This is a very, very, very good restaurant, and obviously one of Puerto de Mogán's very best. Fantastic food, good wine list, very good service, and with a pleasant atmosphere . I recommend ordering all the starters.

Excellent food and service. I would have licked the plate only it would have been rude. Starters bursting with flavours. Main course of tuna steak cooked to perfection. Treat yourself to a great meal in a calm and welcoming location.

The food and service was beyond amazing! Every dish was elevated, with the most thoughtful of touches added to eat plate to create a full flavour experience. We definitely will be back! My only negative, we felt the wine menu was slighted expensive for the range on offer

Simply outstanding Italian food. Welcoming service and recommended us exactly what we were hoping for! The spaghetti sauces were so rich and the pork cheek was the perfect crispiness. The wine pairing just livened up the night and reminded me of how much American restaurants just don't do wine correctly or as cheaply for the quality.

High quality Italian. Very cosy restaurant. Waiter knew the menu very well and provided great service and spoke excellent English. Pasta and cod delicious. Priced accordingly. Only negative was glasses of wine were a bit small for €8-10, otherwise highly recommend.

Italian food (but no pizza!). It was sooo good that we went again a few days later; again delicious. Wine equally superb. Excellent service. Pricy.

Best restaurant I Mogán my opinion! I went there twice during my visit. Had different dishes like burrata, tuna tartar and carbonara. The carbonara was I little too salty but other than that it was all great. Really good wines and the staff is amazing! I will definitely go back! 👍🏼❤️

Restaurante Mogán Mar | Playa de Mogán

$$$$affordable
Restaurant
Spanish restaurant
Restaurante Mogán Mar, located in the picturesque Playa de Mogán, is a delightful spot that welcomes families and friends alike. At first glance, it may seem like a typical tourist trap with its bustling atmosphere and cheerful staff. However, once you step inside, you'll quickly feel at home. The menu is diverse, offering everything from tantalizing tapas to hearty pasta and pizza options. Seafood lovers will be thrilled with the fresh local fish selections, while meat enthusiasts can indulge in dry-aged grilled meats.
Pleasant restaurant situated on the promenade on the beach at Puerto de Mogan. Lovely view out over the the water. We called on a Sunday evening around 9pm and were lucky to just be in time to order. Canarian potatoes with mojo sauce were very tasty. Main course of beef and chicken skewer was excellent with vegetable garnish. Mixed meat grill was amazing with pork and lamb chop, chicken breast, two pieces of steak and a large sausage. All meat was cooked to a t and very tender. Unfortunately we had no room for desserts!
Stuart M — Google review
The food is of a good quality. The steak I had was of a very good quality and cooked to perfection. However, they should add more seasoning to it to make it more tasty. The Greek salad was a good size portion, however the balsemic was overpowering. The waiters are impatient and are constantly running around while there is no reason for it. This makes the dining experience less enjoyable. They could also be a bit more friendly.

Very nice restaurant with a good kitchen and nice, funny and friendly waiters.

Beautiful view, amazing staff returned twice already this week. Prawns were the best we’ve had this holiday so tasty with hot bread & butter! The Mexican burrito was done so well and adapted to suit my dietary requirements Only complaint was the steak was ordered well done but inside by the T bone was bloody. Would order usual fillet instead next time

We turned up at this restaurant at 9pm because we’d come for a specific dessert (that I’d been searching for in Mogan for days). The waiter said they would gladly serve us but no paella as they close at 10pm. We ordered the garlic prawn pasta and the Portuguese fish - both were really delicious. I loved my pasta - it was a good sized portion and really hit the spot. Although I did find myself eating quite quickly cos I was aware of the time and the waiters were unplugging things and clearing away stuff from empty tables... It was about 9.40 when the waiter took our plates and we asked if we could still have dessert and he said ‘of course’, but then two minutes later a different waiter brought the bill 😬 It was fine really - I definitely got the impression they wanted to just close up. Maybe that’s on us for turning up so late, I would have rather they just told us they were going to be closing soon and not serve us than us rushing through a very nice meal. We had a card from the restaurant that we got earlier in the day that would give us 5% off our bill - we left had it sitting on the table but quite honestly we were too nervous to raise it given that all our exchanges had been quite short with the staff, but a waiter saw the card and applied the discount without us asking, so I will give them credit for that. I would absolutely recommend this place for the food because it was really very good - I think our experience was just a bit rushed!

The secreto iberico was overcooked and so dry. It was well done, should have been medium-well done. The garlic, shrimp pasta was nice, the grill plate was also dry.

We, a family of 7, have visited Mogan Mar - several times. It is always a pleasure, and everyone feels at home. The restaurant gives you the feeling of a "tourist trap" at first glance, with super-happy waiters and many chairs and tables, and if white-cloth dining is what you are after, this place is not for you. Once in, we felt at home, all of us. The menu has it all, from Tapas, pasta and pizza to local fresh fish and dry aged tender meat from the grill. Everything we have ordered exceeded our expectations, but the thing that makes us come back is the ambience, with staff who sees us, jokes with us and makes us feel welcome. Located at the beach, reasonable prices, decent wine and excellent food. We will return. 👍

Excellent seafront place with cheap beers (1.5 euros for a large pint). Grilled fish is really fresh and well done with potatoes. Beers are served ice cold. They also serve sangria with champagne which are dosed with bananas which are curiously tasty. Evening sunset view is gorgeous and should not be missed!

Gran Canaria Airport

International airport
Airport
Gran Canaria Airport is conveniently connected to the island's capital, Las Palmas, and various tourist resorts through regular public buses. The airport offers a pleasant experience for families with facilities catering to both babies and toddlers, including play areas and private rooms. Additionally, there are amenities such as phone charging stations and access to essential services like grocery shopping at Spar for late arrivals. While the airport provides easy and quick security procedures, it also features duty-free shops with a decent selection of products.
A clean airport and very efficient, as usual in Spain, security is only 5 minutes. A fairly big airport for an island. We were quite late because of a delayed transfer, and we still managed to get there before our flight and even go duty free shopping because of the airport's efficiency! The airport has excellent public transport. The staff at the bus stop are very helpful and guide tourists on what bus to go on. Cheap and fairly frequent transport.
Noemi — Google review
Gran Canaria Airport is a well-organized and modern airport with smooth connections to both European and inter-island flights. ✅ Positives: • Clear signage and easy navigation inside the terminals. • Good variety of shops, cafés, and duty-free options. • Efficient security checks with relatively short waiting times compared to larger airports. • Public transport (bus connections) to Las Palmas and the south of the island is reliable and affordable. ⚠️ Could be improved: • Sometimes crowded during peak holiday season, which can make check-in and boarding a bit stressful. • Limited quiet seating areas if you need to rest between flights. Overall, it’s a pleasant airport with friendly staff and a good passenger experience, making travel to and from Gran Canaria smooth and enjoyable.

If you could, please get the lounge access. The setting is superb, even have the terrace to view the flight and lazy chair. The display of drinks and food are amazing and felt like in the store. I enjoyed the time here!

Good modern airport with all the latest facilities. Love the massive selection of shops here, especially Ele Hop (cow shop!) the Spanish version of a badget shop, that's super low price, almost a temu shop! (but better quality). It's a very user friendly airport and you are soon through.
Jody B — Google review
This is a wonderful, modern airport! It's exceptionally clean and offers plenty of space for waiting for your flight. We especially appreciated the large children's play area, which was a huge bonus.

Excellent and inexpensive vacation during the off-season. Plenty of beach volleyball courts. Warm sea, great oceanarium, delicious food almost everywhere, and inexpensive public transport. I like everything except the Asian fast food places.

Nice polite staff Andriana , representing Jet2 Holidays, delivered outstanding customer service — a true 10 out of 10. She is an asset to the company and represents the brand at a level comparable with the best operators. I travel frequently, living in Florida and currently journeying to Cyprus, and this has been one of the best customer service experiences I’ve received so far between the US and Europe.”

This Airport offers a comfortable and well-organized travel experience. Although security lines can get a bit long during peak hours, everything is handled efficiently. Its convenient access to public transportation and car rentals makes it easy to reach. Overall, a solid and reliable option for inter-island or international travel.

Tenerife South Airport

International airport
Airport
Tenerife South Airport, also known as Reina Sofia Airport, is a 1970s structure with convenient bus links to the entire island, including its second international airport, Norte. While Tenerife North offers nature and adventure, Tenerife South provides beach and sun experiences. The south is home to main all-inclusive hotels while the north boasts shelters in national parks. The airport hosts a variety of car rental companies and features water fountains throughout the facility.
Very good airport. Easy access, working air-conditioning, space and rest places. Staff very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend. Love it.

The airport is clean and well organized. After passing through security and the corridor with shops, you’ll find water refill stations near the toilet entrances, don’t forget to bring your bottle! There are plenty of seating areas, but the chairs aren't suitable for lying down since they have armrests between them. Toilets are clean but could have been better. Also, here’s an important note from the airport’s official website: “The airport terminal is closed to the public from 23:00 to 4:00 hours. During this time, only employees and passengers are allowed access (in the two hours prior to the scheduled departure of their flight).” So if you’re thinking “I’ll just go early spend the night and wait at the airport,” you might want to rethink that plan.

Very easy to navigate, lots of shops if you want them, chill out area or bars too. We needed to charge devices and they had access to hundreds, not just the charging points towers but everywhere, lots of seats, all on one level for easy access and a clear view of everything taking off for the kids to watch.

Tenerife South Airport was extremely distressing and completely ruined the end of my holiday. Yesterday, 16.11.2025, at around 10:07 am, I had one of the worst airport experiences of my life. I suffer from anxiety, and I ended up having a full panic attack at the airport, my hands were shaking, I couldn’t catch my breath, I was crying, and I felt completely overwhelmed. My sister was also crying because we didn’t know what to do. In 2023, before flying to Tenerife, I asked Ryanair staff at Stansted Airport if I could check in a 40kg bag. They confirmed it was allowed, everything went smoothly, and I even have a photo from that trip showing the exact same suitcase with a “heavy” sticker on it. I made sure to ask as I didn’t want to waste money on check-in baggage and I wanted to follow the correct procedure. However, in 2025, at Tenerife South Airport, I was suddenly told that checking in 40kg “was not possible” and that the maximum was 32kg, even though I had paid for 40kg again. I showed proof from 2023: photos, flight details, and the weight allowance but the staff at Azul Handling (Ryanair customer service) kept repeating the same sentence: “It’s not possible. Maximum 32kg,” without actually explaining anything or trying to help. The staff were extremely unhelpful and rude. Even though I was visibly having a panic attack, crying, shaking, and struggling to breathe, they didn’t offer any support or patience. I felt like they didn’t want to help me or my sister at all. I felt like they were ignoring us and speaking over us. When the lady called her supervisor, she didn’t let me speak to her and gave her information that didn’t match what I had actually said. She spoke in Spanish, and I could understand that what she was saying wasn’t accurate. At one point, I was told something that felt really disrespectful while I was already shaking and crying: “You can move 8 kilos to a trash bag if you buy priority.” I couldn’t believe I was being told to repack my belongings into a trash bag. There was no information online, nothing on the Ryanair website, and nothing at the airport that mentioned any maximum of 32kg, especially considering I had already flown with 40kg once from this exact airport. In the end, I felt completely helpless and had no choice but to throw away around 5–6kg of valuable items and souvenirs. I managed to bring the suitcase down to 34kg, but at the check-in desk I was told again: “It has to be 32kg exactly.” While me and my sister were desperately trying to move 2 more kilos into my small bag, I overheard three Ryanair employees talking about us at desks 202–204, saying in Spanish: “It’s those girls with 40kg.” “Be careful; make sure their bag is exactly 32kg and not even 100g more.” They were laughing as they said it, and it was humiliating to hear, especially while crying and trying to get my breathing under control. I left the airport feeling completely helpless, with my holiday ruined. As someone who once lived in Tenerife and loves this island, this experience was extremely upsetting. My holiday ended with unnecessary stress that triggered anxiety, panic, and tears. Long queues for check-in, security, and passport control only added to the stress, and throughout the airport I saw several staff raising their voices at passengers. I’m sharing this experience so other travellers, especially those who struggle with anxiety, are aware of what can happen and can prepare themselves better. I will also attach the photos I took of the staff involved so people know exactly who I interacted with.

We arrived at 9:30 AM, and by 9:37 AM, we had already passed through security. In total, it took about 7-10 minutes, which is quite fast. The airport was about 50% full, which makes sense as it’s not the peak of the tourist season. Still, there were plenty of travelers around. Security check was quick and professional, even though the equipment isn’t the newest. The airport itself isn’t huge, but since it’s an international hub, it offers flights to the US and other destinations, making it fairly large in terms of operations. There are a few duty-free shops—not too many, but enough. Prices are reasonable. You’ll also find a Burger King, which is a good option for a quick meal. There are some clothing stores, but nothing too high-end—mostly casual brands. Seating is plentiful, and there are charging stations for phones. Vending machines are available for drinks and snacks. However, there are no horizontal escalators and no smoking rooms—not even for e-cigarettes or IQOS users. The bathrooms are clean, though in one of them, the soap dispensers weren’t working, which was a minor inconvenience. Overall, the airport is well-maintained, clean, and functional. It’s not the most luxurious, but for its size, it’s efficient and comfortable. 📌 Rating: 8/10 – A solid experience with some small areas for improvement.

Worst airport ever. It can easily ruin your trip. The staff cannot answer simple questions, they rather misguide you. No one knows english. Don’t recommend. It may be the reason to not go to Tenerife.

Travelled many times to and from Tenerife South and never had any issues. Staff in the main are very friendly, you get the occasional difficult one because they are wearing a uniform. Transfers are always very easy and check in has always been easy.

Nice airport but the immigration queue even though it was quite small, took too long. More staff needed and more machines working would have been nice. Still we are through and have had wine and food so all is well!

Tenerife North Airport

International airport
Airport
Tenerife North Airport is a small airport serving the Canary Islands and mainland Spain. Despite its size, it offers a comfortable experience with loungers and charging stations. The terminal is conveniently located near rental car companies, and there are dining options such as a 3-course meal for 11.95 or Burger King. The airport is nestled in the mountains, providing beautiful views during arrival and featuring an interesting runway layout.
Very nice and comfortable local airport Well organized and clean Thanks a lot !
Ilya S — Google review
It's a good airport, a bit small but working well. I don't give 5 stars as it's clearly underdeveloped and the services are of lower level compared to the South airport which I believe is because richer tourists visit the South airport and they focus on them.
Stan — Google review
Tenerife North Airport is, in general, a well-functioning and efficiently managed regional airport that serves as a key gateway to the island’s northern region. The facilities are clean, signage is clear, and the overall passenger flow is relatively smooth, especially considering the airport’s size and volume of traffic. That said, I would suggest a few areas for improvement that could greatly enhance the experience for international travelers. Firstly, the public transportation connectivity to Santa Cruz de Tenerife could be more robust and convenient. While taxis and buses are available, a more direct and frequent link—perhaps a shuttle or extended tram service—would be highly beneficial. During my visit, my flight was delayed due to heavy fog, which, I was told, is a common occurrence at this airport given its location and weather conditions. While this is understandable from an operational safety standpoint, it would be helpful if there were more real-time communication and updates provided to passengers during these delays. Additionally, I noticed a lack of USB charging ports in the waiting areas, something that is increasingly expected by today’s international travelers. Especially for those with long layovers or delays, the ability to charge devices is essential and would be a small but meaningful improvement. In summary, Tenerife North Airport offers a solid travel experience, but a few thoughtful upgrades could bring it in line with modern global standards.

Small airport but well organized and maintained. Arrivals: The bags were already rolling in the pickup area by the time we made our way from the plane inside. The car rental desks are next to the bag pickup lanes. Ciscar seems to be the most popular (based on the size of line). Book Europcar if you're in a hurry. The cars are parked right outside, down one floor. The bus station is right outside as well, down one floor. Departures: Checking is at the entrance, up one floor. There are about 30 stands, all in one line. Security gates are in the middle, between the checking stands. Rental car drop-offs are the same parking spots where picked up. Keys can be handed over in the parking area. There is no need to go back inside.

Gets a bit of a bad rep this place as it’s a small airport. Yes it’s small but it’s probably the comfiest free airport I’ve been to and that’s a lot of airports! Lovely lounger chairs upstairs with charging stations aswell as sofas! You can get a “menu del dia” 3 course meal for €11.95 up the stairs or a Burger King. There is plenty of small coffee shops dotted about but I found these a little pricey. But all in all a great experience in the Noryh airport. Some great views also

Im a traveler who has been all over the world. This airport has the most disgusting bathrooms, not just out of any airport, but out of anywhere on planet earth that i’ve ever been in my entire life. Out of hundreds of thousands of bathrooms in the world, this airport manages to have the most disgusting, which is concerning because the actual airport isn’t that bad.
