The Goa Chitra Ethnographic Museum is a hidden gem that beautifully preserves Goa’s rich cultural heritage. The museum is thoughtfully curated, with each exhibit telling a unique story of Goa’s history and rural traditions. The guided tour adds immense value with detailed explanations. The ambiance is peaceful, surrounded by greenery. I’m giving it 4 stars as some sections could be better maintained. Still, it’s a must-visit for anyone interested in Goa’s authentic culture and history.

I came from Thailand and have a passion to understand Goan heritage & culture, so I came here and very enjoy of everything. Ticket counter lady is very joyful, and the guidance didi is very kind, gives me a lot of new knowledges! The museum is full of important object for the student like me, and the architecture was designed in Goan colonial heritage. I really appreciate this place so much! If there any Thai people wanna visit Goa for culture research, I will tell them to visit Goa Chitra Museum also 🌺🤍✨

I am a fan of old vessels, furniture, implements and so visiting this was a natural choice. My son & I spent more than an hour and it was well worth the INR 300 ticket. Our guide Muskaan, a history graduate was articulate and did a very good job taking us through all the three sections of the museum. The curators love and effort shows in the many many items in the collection that would have taken a significant effort to collect and display Do make the time for this place.

There are three museums forming the Goa Chitra Museum. The best part is every visit is accompanied by a guide who provides an informed commentary on the exhibits and is able to answer questions. In our case, Hazel was an excellent guide and greatly helped our appreciation of all three museums. The collections in all three museums are extremely well presented and documented. Taking the best part of 35 years for the owner to bring together they tell a fascinating story of Goa and India. The focus on the wheel in one of the museums brings together the world’s largest collection wheeled carts and palanquins, all of which are beautiful, but some exquisitely so with detailed carvings and inlays. The agricultural museum has a fine collection of agricultural implements and provides an insight into the lives, culinary and agricultural practices of Goa. Finally, the colonial Goa section houses artefacts from the Portuguese era showing the introduction of modern technology and the lives and lifestyles of the Indo-Portuguese. Absolutely no hesitation in recommending the Goa Chitra Museum as a great way to spend an hour or two learning more about Goa and India.

Had a one on one tour with the lovely Hazel. Took about an hour to go round the three parts of the museum. Lots of interesting exhibits to see. Well worth the INR300 admission. I walked there and back from Benaulim beach - took 90 mins in the hot sun.

Commendable effort by the curator. There are three museums in total, and while the entry might seem humble, a world of material history awaits you inside. We were extremely happy with the guided tour. The curator himself was guiding groups and was happy to talk about his journey as an artist and restorer. Highly recommended if you visit South Goa.

I love this Shree Damodar Temple in Margao Goa.. This is very beautiful temple near Damodar Circle or Nehru stadium in Margao Goa.. There is very fresh, peaceful, energetic and positive atmosphere.. There is positive vibes around you.. I feel like my home and my mind connect with good vibes.. There is very co-operative Pujari and they take care of God.. They are praying for us and giving blessings to all of us.. I like this beautiful temple and I attended aarati and this is unforgettable memories for me and my family.. Thank You 🙏🥹🌼

I'd say it's a good market because you find mostly everything you need from food to clothes and household items and there's always a variety to choose from. It's always crowded and big so you might get often lost especially when trying to find the exit, but once you get the hang of it, it's much easier. Great place to buy goan food products and house hold items.

Good place to buy all your things. But too crowded at times and hard to find parking, never come here in car, two wheeler is preferrable. The clothes here are good and decemt according to the prices

Huge market with nearly everything available including pork sausages. 4 wheeler parking is a little away and best available in the afternoon.

You get all the house hold and daily usage commodities here. Shop keepers are helpful in choosing the items and directing people to the correct shop for purchases

Spacious green zone in the midst of bustling traffic. Good for walks or just to sit and relax after shopping in Margao. Unfortunately the water fountains are no longer operational. A home to lots of birds. Well maintained plants. Wouldn't advise people to visit during the evenings when it gets dark because of mosquitoes. Clean environment. There's a watchman also posted in the garden.

Margao Municipal Garden is situated right in Margao city, well maintained by MMC, where u can relax while doing shopping, also just outside it one can get a intercity buses to most of South Goa destination.

This garden was beautiful, however men's walking around were making this place uncomfortable for women. I found myself lucky to get place to sit here. After moving around Madgaon village for whole day, you will find this place to take selfies for yourself.

A church in the heart of the madgaon city. Its a modern church with good setup of a/v. The church is spacious but It has limited parking space.

This church is located at walking distance from Madgoan market and municipal garden. This church does not have the usual architecture found in other churches in Goa. Our local church in the heart of Margao ur welcome anytime except in the afternoons n late eve at 7 where it's close,daily konkani masses in the morning at 7,8:30 n eve at 6, On Sundays it's 6,7,8 n 9am is the only English mass available,10am is the Cathesism mass for children,feel free to make a lovely visit ,n spend time with our Abba Father who is watching over us everytime ,he never forgets us nor forsake us ☺️ n our lady who intercedes for us daily.

Church activities and Mass gatherings are very pleasant and a lot of people can be see here. However parking is an issue.

Beautiful to look at from the outside. The church was closed due to some maintenance work so we could not enter it. Quite scenic. I believe it's the same church from the movie Josh/Mujhse Shaadi Karogi. Close to Panjim market and at a walkable distance. There are many cafes around the church. You will find an auto stand too near it.

Historical church which seems to remain closed during the day. Have been to this church a couple of times during day time and it was always closed. But it seems it is open in the evening. From the Madgoan market board the bus to the Madgaon bus stand and say the conductor you want to go to the holy spirit church. From the bus stop( sessions court ) this church is less than 5 minutes walk. Evening is the best time to visit this church as it may be open and we can enter inside the church. Very peaceful olden architecture. Churches are alway serine peaceful and a place where you can connect or attempt to connect with the almight and connect with yourself if you make an attempt to. This is one of those places.

One of the historic and famous church in south Goa, if not the most famous. Located in Borda it is the site of devotion for Catholic people. It is adjacent to Holy spirit High school. The premises also has a huge football ground mainly used by school for football and other sports activities. During Christmas, feast, ester the church authority put chairs for people to see program or live rituals from inside the church.

How to Reach from madgaon railway station? Walk around 500m straight down the station to main road , u will get tempo bus which takes u to church or any other places in Goa.

There's nothing to see here except an old dilapidated building and the back of a statue. The property is fenced off with no way to enter. Obviously, there is some historical significance to this place but there is no signage explaining the events that make it important.

A place in Margao, named after Freedom Fighter late Dr Rammanohar Lohia, is mostly used to have public meeting and to celebrate Goan festivals, patriotic programme.

This is not a place of tourist interest. But just a garden that is easily accessed by people in the center of Margao. Not very long ago, it was being used as public bath/urinal.

A historical place where you can sit and relax. You'll see a statue of Lohia in the middle of this place. It is said that he had given freedom speech to Goans at this place, so they have built a statue of him portraying that event, which is a great reminder for such historical event.

There a statue of Honourable Dr. Lohia here. This is the place where the grt personality gathered the people of Goa n motivated the Goans to fight for their freedom from the foreign rule . That was d first organised revolution in Goa. the first step towards free Goa.

Ideal for hosting a function for a crowd of 400 to 600. The multilevel are inconvenient for women with high heels or young kids. Managing the plate of food and climbing the stairs to find a seating puts the whole event back by a point. Otherwise, the place is convenient.

Such an horrible place.. I had the worst experience over here.. First of all the pools are very dirty. The tiles in the pool are broken too. You would easily get hurt. In fact one my friend did get hurt and he had to get 4 stitches. And the staff us not good, especially the wife. They all are very rude and they actually don't care.. After my friend got injured we asked for first aid box. On checking the first aid box, the medicines were expired.

A beautiful gem of a place hidden in the lush green landscape in the village of Raia. This place has been in existence for more than 20 years and has recently changed management. It's a must visit for a goan food lover. Especially their meats. We tried them all. Tongue, beef, chicken, pork. The fish was a bit of a let down but I'm willing to go back and try again. We have high expectations when dining at a traditional goan restaurant. Especially when it comes to the fish. A must try though is the sausage pulav and the pork amsol. The service was good though we did experience a delay which was humbly acknowledged and explained as a one off occurance as they are still in the settling down phase. I would definitely recommend you trying out any of their traditional goan preparations. Their portion sizes are lovely and very well priced. A last of the more affordable eateries. The ambience is rustic and would be perfect for a lovely dinner with the family on a cool. Crisp December evening. All in all, a well kept hidden secret and one that will keep you salivating for more..

Nostalgia is back!!! I have so many fond memories of coming here all the time with my parents as kids, the authentic Goan food always hit the spot and left us craving for more, would definitely recommend going here and trying out their food, the cherry on the top is the ambience which takes the experience to a whole other level.

After being closed for months, Nostalgia is finally back in business, and it’s been taken over by the folks from Isla Margarita Assolna. This place has always held a special spot in my heart for its authentic Goan food, and I’m happy to report that it continues to impress. We visited for a family lunch, and while the wait for food was a bit longer than expected, considering there were only two tables (including ours), the quality of the food more than made up for it. The flavors were as amazing as ever, and it was clear that they’ve maintained the high standard they’re known for. The pricing is also very reasonable, which makes the experience even better. A special mention to our server, Mr. Clifton, who was excellent in his service and made us feel well taken care of throughout our meal. While I deducted one star for the wait time, it’s understandable since the restaurant may have just resumed operations. The standout dishes we had included the Lepo Masala Rawa Fry, Mackerel Rechado Fry, Stuffed Mushrooms, Basmati Rice, and Prawn Curry. Each dish was packed with authentic flavors, and I can’t wait to return. Overall, I highly recommend Nostalgia for anyone craving a true taste of Goan cuisine. Will definitely be back soon!

Went for dinner at this restaurant at about 9:00 pm and there were only a few customers at the restaurant at that time. Ordered kf beer, pork sorpotel, bread and bolo sans rival. Sorpotel was good but they don't serve any breads like chappati or roti or pao,, so had to eat sorpotel with ordinary white bread. Bolo sans rival was excellent. Service was fast. Amazing place . Food at its best.. ambience at its amazing best , the music is great. The service is great. If u don't visit the place when in goa , u have certainly missed the goan heritage and food.

Finally got the chance to visit this establishment and I did just that. It's ambience is rustic and ages like fine wine. Coming to the food, we had the Sausage Rolls, Beef Croquettes, and Prawn Pattys and the King Fish Rava Fry, all of them tasted good, but the standout dish was the Sausage Rolls. Pricing is very much value for money and the service can be improved on. Definitely check this place out, as it's one of the few places in Goa that serves quality food.

We tried prawns curry rice here which was very good. But the king fish fry that we ordered was rolled up. And they actually served this to us. The service is pathetic. If your waiter is busy the other waiter will not even take your order. By the time our fish fry arrived (which was rolled up) we finished our beer. They are biased towards their regular customers over tourists.

The place is very pleasant with beautiful sea view. The food is awesome and service of Mr. Shenoy is awesome having good knowledge of food items and explain everything about our dishes. Must visit place.

An awesome restaurant in Goa. This was our last Meal in Goa on that trip, and with all the food from Goa that we had eaten, we had thought the food would not appeal any longer. And we were in for a huge surprise. The food was excellent with the exception of the featured puff or croquettes which were a little too dry. The rest of the food was amazing at prices that won't break make a hole in your pocket. They also have a little corner where they sell a book and some pastes specific to the cuisine of Goa. Will we return ? Yes

The restaurant has a vintage, rustic feel about it. This restaurant provides the fastest service I've ever experienced. The special prawns curry and rice I had ordered was wonderful and had unique taste. Prawns masala fry was alright

The ambience and the music is well suited. The waiter gives good recommendations. You can have seafoods over here. I also had steak over here but the problem was some pieces were cooked to well done and some were rare and some were medium rare. I recommend customers to ask them to serve the steak as a single cut and then make the cuts in front of the customer.

Visited the restaurant for dinner. Good place for a nice dinner. The ambience is good. Food was good too. The staff is courteous. Prices are a little on the higher side. All in all a good experience.

Came here with my family today. Staff is cortious and friendly. Interior is nice and music is up to date. Food is delicious portion size is average. Prices are above average so was waiting time. I have ordered steak, wife pasta daughter mushroom soup. Steak meat wasn't properly marinated and had not been cut properly with tendons left. Pasta and soup were really good. Also they do add 10% service surcharge and i like to be given a choice about tipping hence 4 stars (Would be 3 but mature guy from staff made my day by cheering our toddler)

One of the best I have been to in Goa for modern European cuisine... the place is quite, neat and the service is great... very interesting menu selections from classic European cuisine with a modern twist... Tried the Steak cooked on lava stone.... finished right in front of you at the table cooked to your liking... The beverage list is very nice as well... lot of nice interesting cocktails... has a decent selection of wines... only Indian wines are available by the glass.... a good selection of European wines are available by the bottle... l have one small suggestion with regards to the dessert selection, should put a lil bit thought into the quality of the selection...

While others love this place, I've had a different experience. The food was okay and I'm really not satisfied with the quantity. The chicken skewers were a bit dry. I liked the beef tongue. I really didn't expect the steak to be that small and it's not served with much of sides and enough of sauce. The service was okay.

We actually wanted to goto Martin's Corner but as we were getting late we decided to go to their Margao outlet. Martin's always delivers when it comes to o quality food and there was no disappointment this time around too. For starters we had chicken BBQ and squids batter fry which were cooked to perfection. Squids were fried with crispy batter which was lip smacking. For the main course we had a stroganoff, two types of steaks and one sizzler. The stroganoff was creamy,juicy and the meat was very tender. The steaks were amazing as well especially the rum glazed steak. The sizzler was nice too although the chicken piece was comparatively small to the other ingredients on th sizzler plate. Overall a great dinner.

An absolutely fantastic food experience. The menu is limited, but shows their passion for food. You can order beef in 5- 6 different cuts and the meat is so tender and well tasting. A glas of Indian Shiraz was a surprisingly good companion. If the wine would have been served a bit cooler (say 18°C), it would have been a six star meal ;-) The couple at the next table had the salmon grilled on ceder wood. They offered me to taste and it was really superb. Only drawback - this place closes between 3 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Great atmosphere.. but food we ordered was really really bad. Had ordered for stuffed squids (.it's was chefs special ) and beef chilli with rotis. We were quite surprised when we got the order , as the stuffed squids looked like malai tikka , and not reachade as we were expecting it to be. The beef was rubbery and chewy .. totally disappointed with the food and service. Will not recommend this place to anyone . Even the rotis were cold . They do have a valet parking.

We went here too late in the night and so most of the things were over. We still got the pork here. It was good. I tasted something called the Serradura here which was awesome that I licked the bowl dry. Should visit it next time more early to try the other delicacies they offer here.

We've been visiting Pepper's for many years now, and their standard remains consistently excellent. The food tastes wonderfully homely, and the look of the restaurant is both nice and cozy, creating a perfect ambiance for a relaxing meal. The service is always outstanding, with Rommel, the owner, personally welcoming us whenever he is available and ensuring everything goes smoothly. The stuffed prawns are particularly amazing, and the seafood, in general, is prepared exceptionally well. Pepper's is our go-to spot in Goa for a delightful and authentic dining experience. Visited Spicy restaurant for lunch after hearing about their ongoing crab festival. There were no available seats when we reached and had to wait for 20 minutes before we got a table, tells you enough about how busy this place gets! We ordered the crabmeat soup to start with, a medium butter garlic crab, chonak thali, kingfish thali for mains and caramel pudding for dessert. The crabmeat soup was wholesome with generous portions of crabmeat. The butter garlic crab was the star of the meals. Easily sufficed for 3 people and the butter garlic flavour was present in every bite, a great dish indeed. The Thalis did not disappoint. Fantastic seafood and great elements all cooked to perfection. The dessert tasted great although I would have preferred a slightly bigger portion. The servers are on their toes due to the busy lunch time but they were attentive to each table, which was something I noticed and generally helpful. Lovely shack with outdoor seating. The butter garlic styled lobster was delicious and served in very good time. Nice gentle breeze on the Betalbatim beach. Pizza was very good as well, probably wasn't as big as I thought. But surely nothing majorly worrying

Absolutely loved my time at Magzika Beach Shack! 💙 The food was super tasty, prices are really affordable, and the whole place has such calm and chill beach vibes. Perfect spot to relax, eat good food, and just unwind. The staff are so friendly and helpful — I was working from the café, and the Wi-Fi and network worked perfectly too! I had even left my charger there by mistake, and they were kind enough to send it back to me. Truly appreciate that gesture! 🙏 Had my best staycation in Goa, and Magzika made it even more special. First of all, loved this beach called Betalbatim. This is by far the most cleanest with clearest water in Goa. There are just about 5-6 shacks in the entire beach and this one called Magzika turned out to be the wisest choice. Superb service - great staff, great food, authentic Goan taste and freshest sea food. I highly recommend this place if you are in South Goa. Must visit. The techno music makes the vibes even better. They have multiple sitting options. Please bookmark this place when you are in South Goa and specially at this Betalbatim beach.

Amazing services! They addressed every request that we made. on top of that, me , my daughter and my wife were stuck due to high tide and rain, all their staff went out of their way to help us out to ensure we reached back to our hotel! Hospitality at its best

Great place with great ambience. We ordered Batter fried calamari, Lepi rawa fry, Mackerel rawa fry and Bombay duck rawa fry. The fishes were fresh and taste was awesome. We also ordered cocktails which were reasonably priced. They also conduct Live Fire Show which is fabulous.

Went here in may 2023 for dinner. Superb ambience, ample seating space. Live band playing. We had the dimsums (chicken) which were awesome, the filling was succulent. The Kum Pao chicken was also good, tangy taste with cashewnuts. But the highlight was the sushi. The dragon roll sushi which we had was AWESOME, the whole myriad of individual flavors came together well to give a real treat to the taste buds. Would definitely recommend this (and also their prawn tempura sushi). For dessert we had the cheesecake which was really AMAZING. And the caramel pudding was good as well. A great place to have a comforting meal.

For anyone new to sushi or seasoned sushi lovers, scallion tempura by chef Kalyani at The Red Ginger is highly recommended. Her friendly demeanor and willingness to answer my questions added to the overall positive dining experience. The quality and freshness of the ingredients were exceptional, a delightful crunch with every bite.

Literally the worst sushi platter I have ever tasted. No seasonings whatsoever. Overload of pickled ginger. I have tasted sushi in various places and this can be deemed as the worst of the lot so far. I didn't like the dessert dumplings too. It just tasted super weird that I couldn't finish even for a fact that I paid for it. The only thing which was good was the fried duck dish which was a silver lining for the whole meal. Super disappointed with Red Ginger, for I visited it after receiving rave reviews about it from some of my colleagues.

This place is good for Asian cuisine . It has a nice ambience and tasty food. The Wok Tossed Shanghai chicken and Prawns Tempura with Hot Garlic sauce is a must try. Although the food is tasty, the service is a little slow. Plus if u drive to this place then parking will be a headache.

One of the few restaurants serving delicious Asian food. That ambience is also suits this themed restaurant. I absolutely loved the sushi and dimsums served here. Also thai curry is tasty. I also happened to try a few cocktails which were also great. The service is excellent too . Overall an amazing experience.. wud definitely recommend 😀👍🏼

I visited this restaurant and ordered a plate of puri bhaji. The food was decent in taste, but I was quite disappointed with their policy. After finishing my plate, I simply asked for one extra puri, and they refused to serve it unless I bought an entire new plate. As a customer, I feel there should be a bit more flexibility and understanding. Sometimes, we just need a single puri to finish the bhaji — not a full extra plate. The staff could have handled this in a friendlier and more accommodating way. Overall, the food was okay, but the strict and unfriendly rule made my experience less enjoyable. I hope the management considers being more customer-friendly in the future.

A very nice place for breakfast. We ordered quite a few items and liked most of the dishes, though one or two weren’t to our taste. In particular, their chapati, upma, and tea were excellent.

This South Goa restaurant is a must-visit for veg food lovers! I enjoyed the masala dosa, tomato uttapam, and Goan pav bhaji mix, all of which were delicious and reasonably priced. Conveniently located near Madgaon railway station, the restaurant boasts a spacious seating area with a warm ambiance, making it a perfect spot to relax and enjoy a meal.

I wanted to share my wonderful dining experience recently. The service provided was truly exceptional. I was so impressed with the attentiveness and friendliness of Vikash Kumar the food was absolutely delicious and exceeded all expectations. I highly recommend this place for both great service and amazing cuisine.

The place tends to be quite crowded during December, but the food is exceptionally good. I particularly enjoyed the Tomato Basil Bell Pepper Soup and the homemade coconut ice cream. However, the King Fish Curry was overly tangy for my taste. Service was slow, with a wait time of over 40 minutes. The menu features several Goan dishes, and the waitstaff seemed well-informed about them. Overall, it’s a great option for fine dining if you’re in South Goa.

Good fresh fish. Located bang opposite Alila Diwa back entrance. AC and Non AC seating. Around 15 or more non AC seating and ten AC. We chose to sit in Non AC near the bar as it was pleasant climate. We visited on a very rainy August Saturday evening. Ceramic cutlery. Wooden chair & glass top tables. Menu serves Goan, Indian, Tandoor, Chinese, Continental, Italian cuisine. Along with an exhaustive bar menu. Rates are reasonable. We ordered Bombil Rawa Fry and it was crispy & crunchy, with lots of salad on the side. Their Pomfret fry in Rechead Goan masala was tangy, fresh & tender. We asked for extra Rechead masala as we found the chutney very exquisite & unique. The Mutton Seekh Kebab with green chutney were also good, though I would prefer Fish preparations over meat. Their Caramel Custard was perfect in texture, wobble, firmness, sweetness and taste! Overall, we loved the service & food & ambience.

The service could be better, one server said one of the menu items was available and the other did it was not. Other than that food was amazing the beef tongue roast was really good and so was the kingfish curry, better than most places I have eaten at. Prices were normal ie. expensive- ₹350 for each item and ₹250 for beers. The alle belle could have been better. 5/10. Overall food was worth it.

We happen to visit this place few days back and ordered mushroom and panner starters. Mushroom was stale and panner was not panner at all. Definitely they are using panner alternative. It was completely chewy and not breakable. We requested to change mushrooms and asked about the quality but they didn’t took anything seriously. We were hungry after long hours of journey, only thing we could get was dal kichdi for my kid. Few misunderstandings also happened for drinks as well.

This restaurant is just 5 minutes ahead of The Martins Corner, I have been to this place even during my last visit to Goa. Good food and Drinks, I tried Chonak, Prawns and Chicken and everything was very well made.

This is the kind of place where I'd come back for more. Everything we ate, from sea food to potatoes to ribs; every bite was flavourful and was really well seasoned and cooked. Even the cocktails we had were mind boggling. The frozen daiquiri felt as if we were having some sort of fruity, pulpy juice.

We tried their Rava Masala Dosa and Samosa with Tea, and everything was served hot and fresh. The dosa had a nice crisp texture, and the potato masala was well-prepared. The samosa was also decent—crispy on the outside and savory on the inside. The tea was the perfect companion to the snacks. Also gave their Shev Puri a try, and it was surprisingly good—flavourful, tangy, and fresh, with just the right balance of crunch and spice. It added a nice variety to the overall experience. While the food quality is consistent, there's room for improvement in both taste and service, especially during busier hours. Some dishes feel like they could use a little more attention to detail in flavor. Overall, Cafe Tato is a dependable spot for a simple, satisfying vegetarian meal—ideal for breakfast, tea-time snacks, or a light lunch. For a more peaceful experience, try visiting during off-peak hours. A solid option if you're looking for authentic Goan vegetarian bites at a reasonable price.

Famous place in Margao, Goa for breakfast and plenty of local delicacies. Tato’s is the GoTo place for many locals and tourist every morning for a sumptuous tasty breakfast. Stick to local stuff and they have even the widely sold Puri Aloo also done in a very localised manner. Do try their different offerings. Pui Aloo, Ragi Cake, Mirchi Bhaji and lovely tea is must try. They offer wide varieties of bhajis (pakode), really worth trying. Service is quick and staff is very helpful, suggesting what could be the good options given your preference.

We had visited this place for lunch. The location is quite central and easy to find near south goa collectorate, has space for parking and a security who will guide you. During peak hours, the café gets very crowded. Restaurant is clean and simple. They have variety of classic north Indian and Goan vegetarian dishes. We had veg manchow soup, baby corn chilli and veg kadai with naan. Food was good.

Pav bhaji was ok patal bhaji was worst only hard masala smell, pineapple sheera was good , masala dosa was ok but chutney n sambhar was too sweet i dont know whats happening there . Not worth

My review is of the non-veg section on the 3rd floor. Having undergone a small reno, the place is nicely spruced up and has a good vibe. Overlooking the highway and green fields beyond is pleasant while sampling their delicious fare on offer. We tried several dishes and each and every one hit the mark. The biryanis are superb and each very different from the other. The fish is always fresh and varies daily in the thali option. The wait staff are polite and offer recommendations and updates on the menu. This is a lovely place to go with the family and have a tasty meal. As there aren’t many tables, the feeling of a more intimate dining experience is assured. Parking can be challenging during peak hours but the security on site does a decent job of finding one a parking spot.

This is my official trip to Goa. My return journey is from Dabolim. So I got enough time to explore Goa Airport as I have reached little early. Being an international Airport most of Facilities are available on Airport except SPA. Lounge facility is there to spend extra time before boarding flight. Lots of shopping outlet inside Airport. Lots of food outlets to enjoy delicious food. Breweries are there for Drink lovers. Ample space for seating.

Facilities within the airport are adequate, though somewhat limited. Seating areas are comfortable but can become crowded during rush hours. A selection of eateries, cafés and snack kiosks cater to both vegetarian and non-vegetarian tastes, though options are not as extensive as one might expect in larger airports. Duty-free shopping is available, offering liquor, cashews, chocolates and souvenirs, popular items for visitors departing Goa. One of the standout conveniences is the airport’s proximity to South Goa, making it particularly accessible for travellers heading to beaches such as Colva, Majorda, or Palolem. However, reaching North Goa (Baga, Calangute, Anjuna) typically requires a longer drive of over an hour, especially during traffic peaks. Taxis are readily available, though it is worth noting that prepaid fares can be on the higher side compared to app-based cab services. Cleanliness is generally well-maintained, with tidy washrooms and attentive housekeeping staff. Free Wi-Fi is available, though the connectivity can be intermittent. The relatively small size of the airport means one does not need to spend too much time walking between check-in, security and the boarding gates, which adds to the overall convenience. In short, Dabolim Airport is not luxurious, but it is functional and reliable. It reflects Goa itself in many ways—straightforward, unpretentious and welcoming. It may lack some of the polish of the newer Mopa Airport in North Goa but for many travellers, Dabolim remains the more practical and familiar choice.

The terminal’s design is a major improvement; the seamless connection of all aircraft parking bays to the terminal via aero bridges is a massive convenience, eliminating the need for bus transfers and ensuring passengers stay protected from the elements. Inside, the attention to detail is evident, with nicely laid carpets covering all internal paths, reducing noise and adding a touch of class and comfort as you walk to the gates. Operational efficiency is also high, particularly with the baggage handling. The luggage belts are very efficiently designed and consistently maintained, leading to minimal wait times and a quick retrieval process—a welcome change after a long flight. For facilities, the airport is well-equipped. They have successfully integrated a few local touches, including a dedicated liquor shop that sells products at normal, standard rates, which is a huge plus for travelers looking for last-minute souvenirs without the typical airport price gouging. Furthermore, essential services like taxi booking counters are conveniently located inside the arrival area, and you’ll find several quality food and coffee shops to grab a quick bite before heading out or catching a flight. While the new facility is excellent, the check-in and security processing, though improved, still occasionally lag during peak travel times, which is the only reason for the missing fifth star. Overall, this renovation is a huge success and makes arriving in or departing from Goa a genuinely positive experience.

Goa International Airport is old but very good. The airport is clean and well maintained. Immigration, baggage handling, and other formalities are smooth and fast, which makes traveling easier. There are plenty of facilities such as clean toilets and washrooms, ATMs, money exchange, cafés, and shops—all very convenient for passengers. The prepaid taxi service is excellent and makes it easy to reach the main railway station in about one hour, with no disputes since the rates are fixed. The only area for improvement is customs. Unlike many airports where scanning and clearance are quick, here officers stop most passengers and ask many questions, which slows down the process. Even with very little baggage, I was delayed around 15 minutes. Fortunately, I still caught my train, but faster clearance would make the experience much better. Overall, it’s a nice airport with all essential facilities, good services, and smooth procedures—except for the slow customs clearance.

Goa airport is also very good and very clean. But it is small. It is very beautiful and there is a lot of greenery. It is very nice and lovely for photoshoot. Our experience was very good and the caves here are very difficult to book.

Had a smooth experience at Goa Dabolim International Airport. The landing was amazing, giving a beautiful view of the coastline. The airport is compact and easy to navigate, with clean facilities and courteous staff. However, since a lot of tourists arrive here from outside India, the infrastructure and overall presentation could be improved to create an even better first impression of India. Despite the heavy rain during my visit, ground handling was well-managed, and boarding was hassle-free.

Dabolim Airport is a medium-sized international airport that is quite well maintained and organized. The airport is clean, and the staff are polite and helpful. The check-in and security process were smooth, and there are a few shops and food outlets available for passengers. Overall, it’s a decent airport with all basic facilities, suitable for both domestic and international travelers. ✈️

Undoubtedly one of the best airports of India! 🇮🇳 Since it’s newly built, the experience and interiors were amazing 😻 The best best best part I liked about the airport was the trolley system. When you reach at your belt to collect the luggage, they have very systematically placed the trolleys so that passengers don’t have to bother to get one 😍 I mean how thoughtful 🫰🏻🫰🏻🫰🏻 If you are travelling to Goa, do book the book from and to this airport to feel GOA 😎🤙💕

A very nice airport with great staff and shops. It is very spacious, well-lighted and clean. The pickup and drop system is very easy and convenient unlike many other airports. There are plugs for your mobile/laptop chargers on many seats. Toilets are very clean and well maintained.

Also known as MOPA airport. Small and convenient. Plenty of space outside for drop off and parking. One thoughful effort from them was to place trolleys around the luggage belt. Never seen this at any other airport. There were multiple sofas for resting near the exit. There are multiple shops just before exiting the airport gate. Casinos, Taxi, Self drive, Restaurent etc have outlets.

It is new second airport of Goa. Situated at northern Goa, it has excellent motorway connectivity with major cities Calangut, Panjim and South Goa. Airport was designed artistically and was constructed meticulously. It is most popular airport for tourists. However it is small compared to tourists traffic in Goa. Already it is congested at Qs near boarding gates. Maybe soon it requires expansion in near future. Plus points are its beautiful entrance and veranda . Superb interiors. Inside on all floors thete are shops of souveniers and gifts and sweets . It is worth experience of FEEL GOA.
