Saputara Lake, located right at the centre of Saputara in Gujarat, is a large and charming waterbody that forms the heart of this hill station. Its vast size and calm waters create a relaxing atmosphere, making it a perfect spot to begin or end your sightseeing trip. Being centrally located, it’s easy to reach from anywhere in town and often becomes the most photographed place for visitors. The surrounding landscape is excellent, with lush green hills, neatly kept walkways, and a refreshing natural vibe all around. I visited during the monsoon season, and the view of the lake was simply awesome—it was surrounded by drifting clouds, giving it a magical and almost dreamlike appeal. The gentle breeze, combined with the scenic backdrop, made it a truly memorable experience. While the lake is peaceful on most days, it can get crowded during weekends and holidays, so planning your visit accordingly is a good idea. Whether you’re boating, strolling along the shore, or simply sitting and enjoying the view, the calmness of the place is best enjoyed when it’s less busy. One of the most enchanting aspects of Saputara Lake is its night view. The shimmering reflections of lights on the water, combined with the cool evening air, make it a must-see after sunset. A night stroll by the lake is the perfect way to wrap up your day in Saputara. Visit in Night and Day time both.
RANJAN K — Google review
Saputara Lake is naturally beautiful, but the overall experience wasn’t enjoyable. The place was very crowded, and it felt like there was hardly any space to relax or take in the view peacefully. On top of that, almost everything around the lake was costly—food stalls, boating tickets, even basic things like parking. The crowd and high prices really took away from the charm of the lake. It could be a nice spot if managed better, but right now it feels more commercial than relaxing.
Dipak S — Google review
Nice place to hang out. There are too many nearby places to visit. Also number of sports activities are also available. You need at least 2-3 days to explore and enjoy at saputara.
Mahesh N — Google review
🌄 Lake + Garden + Boating ⛵ ✨ Saputara Lake is the perfect destination for quality family time during the monsoon 🌧️. It's enveloped by lush trees 🌳, and both the lake and garden are well-maintained 🍃. Boating 🚣 is also an option here at a reasonable price, and I highly recommend trying it out. Enjoy a memorable day surrounded by nature at this lovely spot! 🤗 🌄 At sunset, the atmosphere becomes truly enchanting ✨, and you'll find the lake view to be particularly captivating. It's a great time to enjoy the scenic beauty of the place. 🌌
Ghanshyam P — Google review
Saputara Lake is one of the most peaceful and scenic attractions in Saputara. Surrounded by green hills and a calm environment, it is an ideal spot to relax and enjoy nature. The lake is clean and well-maintained, and boating here is a wonderful experience, especially in the evening when the cool breeze and sunset create a beautiful view. There are also food stalls and small shops nearby, which add to the charm without disturbing the natural beauty. It is a great place for family outings, photography, or just spending quiet time with friends. Visiting Saputara is incomplete without enjoying the serenity of this lake.”
Shubhankar S — Google review
Pleasant view but boating experience was not good for solo person. But with a family of 4 or 6 will get a good condition paddle boat to enjoy the ride in Lake. Activities near Lake are good and variety of food options available.

Archaeological museum
The Saputara museum, situated in the charming hill station of Saputara, Gujarat, offers a fascinating glimpse into the art, culture, and history of the region. It showcases a diverse array of artifacts such as traditional clothing, ornaments, musical instruments, wooden carvings, and weapons that depict the rich heritage and lifestyle of the local tribes. The museum is an initiative by the government to introduce visitors to the splendid legacy of Dang's native tribes.
It's a fantastic museum to know about the tribals of Dang region, but it is veryyyyyy I'll maintained. The 1st ie top floor is leaking during rains, there was a crab roaming on its stairs. It stinks, it requires maintenance and repair work. But it is worth the visit.
Rupal G — Google review
A very poorly managed place. Some Artifacts are really good but need to be taken care of. A very broken down building which in itself is a risk and hazard.
Warda F — Google review
Entry fee is Rs. 5. Museum is old and not maintained properly it is in shabby condition. You may understand tribal culture while visiting this place.
Dinesh D — Google review
Needs to be maintained properly. They have some good artifacts collection. Ticket is only 5 Rs.

A tribal museum located near circular junction in Saputara and is a must visit. The interior is simple, but a little bit dusty. It houses tribal artifacts, paintings etc. The entry fee is a small fee and an additional fee for photography. One can visit a small aquarium and grab a bite at the eateries nearby. However, it needs to be maintained.

As the name suggests, it is point to witness the beautiful moment of sun setting down. The shades of different colours appearing on the sky is mesmerizing. Also the aerial view of lake and the town visible from this point is awesome. There are two ways to reach the sunset point, one is through ropeway (which starts from Table point) and other one is by climbing up on the hill. It is almost close to 1 km strenuous climb, the vehicles are not allowed except for the bikes which are provided by the locals on chargeable basis (they charge Rs 100 one way). There are few stalls where water and food are available. For children, there are few recreational stuff such as RC cars, horse rides, etc. There is no entry charge if one decides to climb up while travel through ropeway is chargeable. It is located on height and we can only go by a walk by hiking on the hill. It will take some time. The view is amazing from there.

A Cool and Romantic Place for Couples.. Just go, sit and watch the Sunset.. YouWill Forget yourself and the Entire World. Get a great view of the whole Saputara from the hill top.. There is a team doing Paragliding.. They charge around Rs.2000 per person for 12 Mins. Enjoy that as well.. It's like Flying in Sky to see the Clouds, Mountains with Chill Fog around You.. Awesome Location.. Enjoy your Holiday..

Go sit at this point in monsoon and wait for the clouds to clear of a bit. With a breeze and sounds of tough clouds passing through these mountains you'll a painting of a village just at the bottom. The image is as if you're a god and watching your creations from heaven above. I wish I could live there.

Awesome place. Here you see Great Sunset. Cool place... Saputara is one of the most popular hill station in Western Ghats. It is situated in Dang district of Gujarat state. But many number's of tourists are come here both Maharashtra and Gujrat.

Super views Dec last week: The sunset point is on the other side of the ropeway cable car station. While there are food stalls and some activities for kids, the sunset view is just awesome. The setting sun and the entire orange line across the horizon is a sight to behold.
Maulin P — Google review
Best sunset location of gujarat. It is just beside rope way and you need either cab or own vehicle to reach there. So ideally you should start at 3pm to cover ropeway and sunset both. Else you will miss either of them. Location is full of fun activity too.

This charming eatery offers a peaceful atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle, making it perfect for unwinding after a long journey. Its proximity to toilet facilities adds to its practicality. Location of the restaurant is quite practical.Just at a walking distance from center and situated at a quite nice place away from all the disturbances.Situated near toilet block so it makes it a proper place to freshen up after a long journey and have a nice breakfast and Tea. Apart from nice location, the main reason to eat there is their tasty food, everything they have is tasty and won’t disappoint you at all.If you are having breakfast there, don’t forget to have atleast 2 cups of their wonderful tea.The taste of their tea is just surreal. Some items I can suggest to order are Methi Thepla,Aloo Paratha,Paneer Paratha,Poha,Bhajiya.Although I am sure other items would also have tasted great. And one thing every customer needs is proper attention and information with details from the owner and staff. The owner and staff were nice, and served us properly. This charming resort features comfortable rooms and suites that provide a cozy atmosphere, perfect for unwinding after a day of exploration. Guests can indulge in rejuvenating treatments at the Ayurvedic spa or take a refreshing dip in the outdoor swimming pools while enjoying stunning views of the nearby lake.
Had a fantastic stay here! From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding — every staff member we interacted with was warm, helpful, and genuinely welcoming. A special mention goes to Santosh and the new team that joined at the restaurant this week. What really stood out was the thoughtful service — they took the time to understand our dietary needs and offered excellent suggestions that worked perfectly for us. They truly elevated our dining experience. The food was incredibly fresh and full of flavor, and the quality was consistent across every meal. The team’s warmth and professionalism created such a positive atmosphere, and we felt genuinely looked after each time we dined there. Reception was smooth and welcoming, and room service was excellent (prompt and dependable). Overall, a memorable stay. We’d gladly return — not just for the comfort of the hotel, but for the people who make it feel special.

This is a little old but well maintained hotel. Though the hotel building and landscape is not an impressive one, the room size, upkeeping and service makes it up. The food here is very good. There is a food stall at the gate of the property which is good for a quick bite.
Kalpesh S — Google review
We had a pleasant stay overall. The facilities, location, and staff behaviour were excellent – I’d rate them 4.5 out of 5. The hotel is well-maintained and ideally situated, making it convenient for sightseeing and relaxation. However, there's room for improvement in the breakfast quality. The food lacked variety and taste, which was a bit disappointing. I would rate the breakfast 2.5 out of 5. If the breakfast is improved, this hotel could easily be a top choice in Saputara.

Fraudery. Sell rooms under package including food and then in the final bill they mention restaurant bill separately. Upon mentioning and raising the issue they do not address it and are totally unresponsive. This is a scam going on. The GM doesn't pick up calls. They send you saying that We'll send you the right bill over mail and then become unresponsive. This is total fraud. Kindly check with the hotel and ask for bill prior.

Hotel Purohit is a recommended destination for a traditional Gujarati thali. While the establishment may lack in ambiance and presentation, the cuisine is delicious and satisfying. The desserts are particularly well-crafted. Pricing stands at 250 rupees for adults and 150 rupees for children. Recent visitors have praised the tasty and nutritious food, urging others to try it out. Overall, Hotel Purohit offers an excellent culinary experience with attentive service that should not be missed when visiting Saputara.
The best hotel I've come across so far. The owner is really good & caring. The best part is they allowed my pet cat to stay there too. This hotel is run by an elderly couple. Average food , no variety of food, no ambiance, bad service , not worthy for money They also insisted to pay only in cash as no bills are delivered. Strictly illegal and looting government by taking restaurants payments in cash mode, so they do not need to pay taxes to government. This is surprisingly happening at famous tourist point, also making inconvenience to tourists like us, who need to go and look for ATM for cash, where as every other small shops are accepting GPAY.

The person at cash counter is worst. Staff is third class and manager is totally arrogant. Waste of money. Waste of time. Humble request never visit and don't support such services. I belong to a good family with virtues and such unhuman behaviour is not acceptable at such restaurant. Atleast be respectful towards your customers, they deserve adequate hospitality. Restaurant is also defaming saputara and its heritage. No words left for such worst service. Absolutely third class restaurant and truly deserves to be shut as early as possible.

This new airport is small but kept clean. The amenities at the airport include 2 shops: one tea stall and the other selling snacks and packaged items. There’s no restaurant in case you have an afternoon flight. It’ll be great to have one bookshop and a proper restaurant in the waiting area of the departure area. The bathrooms are clean and newly furnished. Overall the airport has made it very smooth for sai darshan.

Shiridi Airport was a much-needed addition for travelers visiting this spiritual hub, and it exceeded expectations on comfort and efficiency. The airport is compact and charming, featuring new interiors, very clean washrooms, a helpdesk, and counters for both Saibaba Temple darshan passes and prepaid taxi bookings, making the arrival process especially convenient. There is only one baggage belt, but the luggage arrival was impressively fast; we were out of the airport in less than 10 minutes after landing. This smooth experience made for an excellent start to our journey.

Shirdi Airport is one of the cleanest and most well-managed regional airports in Maharashtra. Located around 15 km from Shirdi town, it’s a huge convenience for devotees and tourists visiting Sai Baba’s temple. The airport is small yet very efficient, with all essential amenities neatly organized. The terminal building is modern, clean, and well-maintained, with helpful staff at every counter. Security checks are smooth and professional, and the airport’s overall atmosphere is calm — perfect for travelers coming for pilgrimage. The waiting area is air-conditioned, with comfortable seating and decent food options for snacks and beverages. Washrooms are clean and hygienic, which is a big plus. Connectivity is excellent with regular flights to major cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad, and Chennai. The arrival and departure process is fast, and baggage delivery is handled promptly. Outside, the airport offers ample parking space, and transportation is easily available through local taxis. However, please note that Ola and Uber services are not available here, so travelers should plan their commute in advance or book local cabs from the airport counter.

Recently visited this airport and had a decent experience. ✈️✨ ✅ Well-Maintained & Clean: The airport is well-kept, and the washrooms are clean and easily accessible. 🚻 ✅ Smooth Check-In: The check-in process was hassle-free, making the start of the journey pleasant. 🛂 ❌ No Lounge Access: Unfortunately, there’s no lounge available, which might be a downside for some travelers. 🛋️ ✅ Security Check for Checked Bags: Be prepared for a security check on your check-in luggage. 🔍 ✅ Food Options: A small snack/brunch counter is available inside the airport for quick bites. 🍽️ 🚖 Getting a Ride: • Multiple private cabs are available outside, and you can negotiate for a better fare. 💰 • Booking an Ola or Uber can be tricky, so plan accordingly. 📲 Overall, an average experience with some limitations. If this review helped you, don’t forget to give it a like! 👍

Nashik Airport is located around 30 minutes drive from Nashik city. It's a minimalistic airport with decent arrival & departure area and limited car parking available for ongoing vehicles. The airport itself is simple in its infrastructure, an arrival zone with proper checkin & baggage zone with further security checks followed by a waiting lounge.
