Aquariums
The National Zoo of Malaysia, established by the Malaysian Zoological Society in 1963, is a sprawling 110-acre open-concept zoo that houses over 5,000 animals from more than 450 different species. The zoo features a wide range of domestic and exotic animals, with over 90% of them living in spacious exhibits designed to reflect their natural habitats. Visitors can explore the diverse collection of mammals, birds, and reptiles while enjoying the opportunity to feed the animals during special occasions.
A very good and enjoyable experience after many years have not been there. Took almost 4 hrs to finish all the areas. It was a good exercises to walk all the way around. Must wear good walking shoes. Stop at the cafe inside the area to rest and have lunch. The foods served were quite good with reasonable prices. Recommended to bring family at least once in a lifetime 🤩

Zoo Negara is still offering birthday month complimentary ticket! Redemption is hassle free. Just fill up a Google form and show your IC at the counter for your wristband. Nothing short of our national zoo. I’m glad to see the animals are well fed as they are no longer skinny and look healthy, clean and well looked after. Some areas are closed for maintenance but that’s just a few of the whole big zoo. The live show is also amazing. Truly impressed by the caliber the zoo is showcasing. Plenty of benches for you to rest throughout the whole area. Although the panda exhibit is no longer available (pandas have been returned), but happy to see the zoo is making good use of the space. Please note that zoo parking is RM15 per entry. A bit pricey but it is well coordinated so it’s a seamless entry. Hope the parking fees go to the zoo for management of the place as well.

Went here on Friday. It took me around 2-3 hours to finished walking and watching all animals here. I literally watch every single animals that were available that day. Sadly there was no animals show on friday. The staffs were attentive enough to help me claim the birthday treat free ticket. The crowd on that day was okay. Not too packed. So i get to take my time to look at each animals a lil longer. Advisable to follow the map route so you won't miss any animals. I started from the left side of entrace A and finished on the right side of the same entrace. Shuttle service was provided but i think it only reach at certain places. I used the toilet behind a souvenir store near entrace A and it was clean. Overall, really satisfied with my experience here.

Had a great time at Zoo Negara! So many animals to see — giraffes, tigers, penguins, tapir, birds, reptiles, everything! The siamang was super loud and funny 😂 The zoo is clean, easy to walk around, and the animal show was really cute. I came solo and still enjoyed it a lot. Worth the visit! 💛
Hehet S — Google review
We visited Zoo Negara with our family on a weekday. Since we didn’t purchase tickets in advance, we had to wait in line for quite a while. As expected, foreign visitors had to pay a higher ticket price compared to locals. That said, the zoo itself was worth the visit ,there were plenty of animals to see and spacious areas to explore. The kids especially had a lot of fun, and there were also things that adults could enjoy. Overall, it was a fun and memorable family outing.🤩

-Got free pass for the birthday promo(thank you) -Start the tour by visiting the animal show, quite fun to see it live, some show got skip due to animal flee, its normal anyway -the aquatic enclosure doesnt have much except for the penguin but hard to see due to water density -hypo is fine, just chilling, -monkey chilling around -capybara and oyen cute as always -sunbear looks healthy -wallabi deer kancil and family all relaxing -snake is beautiful -kokodile is kokodile -big cat most of them are sleeping -apoh the black panther really fat -have a chance to see playful act at mini savana -camel sleep -sad no panda, panda auntie sller said maybe next year new panda arrive. -bird are playful, love the enclosure where merak chicken n turkey? roaming free -orangutan cover his head with sack(its rainining lightly) -most snack and beverage are about 2 -4 times pricier than outside -Parking last year rm10, now rm15 per entry
Axim — Google review
Spending 3–4 hours in zoo negara is no a big problem — watching the animals is very chill too. Animals are well feed, big compound. Perhaps some animals is only one, perhaps look a bit lonely. They also offer a free birthday ticket within 30 days after your birthday, which is great. Although the pandas were under quarantine during my visit, I’ll definitely go again soon.
Wan C — Google review
Redeeming free birthday ticket was so easy. Just scan the QR, register and proceed to counter 4 with your IC to get wristband. The place is big. For those didn't want to walk, tram service available for you. A place to eat, toilet, souvenir shop and surau also available. So much animal to explore, read the informative sign, and good for you and your family knowledge and watch live animals. Ticket price (M'sian) = adult RM48 Parking per entry = RM15 Will repeat again when Panda conservatory is open to public.

Petrosains, The Discovery Centre

Mentioned on
2 lists
Science museum
Museums
Petrosains, The Discovery Centre is a modern museum that offers an in-depth look into the science and technology of the energy industry. It features interactive exhibits and activities designed to engage visitors, particularly children, in STEM-related learning experiences. The museum also includes a cafe and gift shop for visitors to enjoy. While some displays may not be fully operational, there are plenty of attractions to keep guests entertained, including thrilling spinning rides suitable for older children.
This discovery centre is so well put together! It’s fully air-conditioned, so maybe bring a jumper for the little ones. It wasn’t overcrowded during our visit — we booked tickets in advance, but even the queue for buying tickets was minimal (probably because we visited outside the Malaysian holidays). There’s so much to see and do here, so be prepared for a full day — it really keeps the kids interested and engaged. My personal favourite part was right at the end: the dinosaurs! 🦖 Definitely a great family outing, and the ticket price is very reasonable for what you get.
Inzy A — Google review
We didn’t buy in advance as we are unsure what time we can really make it so we bought on the spot when we reach there. I didn’t validate this but the staff told another customer that both online and physical ticket price are the same. We spent almost a good 3 hours inside and really well managed queue system compared to Aquaria. Due to the birthday free promo, although I can get a free ticket, I chose to not take it reason for the bad queue management and having two children, it’s not great to queue long unnecessarily. Best 3 hours spent on a public hols.
Yee L — Google review
Visited during the school holidays with my kids and it was such a fun experience! We bought the tickets online which was very convenient. There are so many interesting places for children to explore and learn, plus a nice café to relax. The 3D show was really amazing and entertaining. Highly recommended to visit and enjoy every corner and activity there!
Madam S — Google review
This place can get crowded especially in the afternoon so do buy tickets online in advance, we always do and don't have to queue. We've been here twice and enjoyed our time. There are a lot of exhibits and interactive games, beautiful interior, and interesting information to learn. Recommended to ride the capsule to learn about how energy was developed and go into the 3D viewing for environmental awareness. Tickets are affordable. My son especially enjoyed the dinosaur exhibition. My daughter loved the mini excavator part. Recommended to go, enjoyable and educational.
Anis H — Google review
Our visit to Petrosains in August 2025 was absolutely amazing — easily one of the most informative and entertaining experiences we’ve had in Kuala Lumpur. This science discovery centre is a brilliant mix of facts, hands-on experiences, and science gamification that keeps both kids and adults fully engaged. We spent almost 4 hours exploring, and the kids were as impressed as they were fascinated — they simply didn’t want to leave! They loved learning about space, the fascinating dinosaurs area, Formula 1 technology, the gas and oil industry, and vertical agriculture. The mind control experiments, earthquake simulations, and 3D movie were huge hits too. Every section is designed to spark curiosity, making science both fun and unforgettable. It’s the kind of place where you leave with your head buzzing with new knowledge and your heart happy from all the fun. Tip: Plan at least half a day here — there’s so much to see and do, and you won’t want to rush.

Had a great time at Petrosains KLCC! Super fun and educational for both kids and adults. Lots of hands-on exhibits, interactive science zones, and friendly staff who explain things clearly. Perfect spot for families or anyone curious about science and technology!

A haven of discovery, this place is an adventure like no other! Young and old are welcome here to learn fun facts about the world around us, there is something for everyone for sure! Buying tickets in advance is highly recommended and the add-on Energy Capsule ride (sold separately from main ticket) was an eye-opening experience. Truly had an amazing time at the Petrosains Discovery Centre, thank you for the experience!

Had an amazing experience here! Fantastic value for money, with several hours of fun and learning involved. There really is something for all ages and its very well built and maintained. My partner and I are in our 20's and we loved it. The science, the scenery, the fun activities as well as the stations that they have to teach you about the interesting subject matters that they have chosen. I hope this review isnt to vague as I didnt want to give to much away as you really should experience it for yourself. My favourite was the motorbike simulator ;) Overall a well deserved 5/5

Aquaria KLCC

Mentioned on

Aquarium
Nature & Parks
Aquaria KLCC is a sprawling aquarium that offers an immersive underwater experience with over 5,000 exhibits showcasing marine and land creatures. Visitors can stroll through a clear tunnel as fish swim overhead, witness feeding shows, and interact with sea cucumbers and starfish at Gene Pool. The aquarium features more than 150 species of marine life including tiger sharks, sea snakes, rays, coral fish, and seahorses.
Last week we visited Aquaria KLCC with the kids and it was such a wonderful experience for the whole family. The kids were really excited and enjoyed every moment. Inside, we could see so many different kinds of sea creatures — from sharks, turtles, big stingrays, and seahorses, to many unique types of fish. The aquarium is well maintained, clean, and the display tanks are very impressive. The staff were also friendly and helpful, making the visit even more comfortable. It was not only fun for the children but also educational, because they could learn about marine life while watching it up close. Overall, it was a happy and memorable trip for us. Definitely a recommended place to visit in KL, especially for families with kids.
Fahmee A — Google review
This place has been around since I was in primary school, and now that I already have a kid, it’s still the same. Honestly, nothing much has changed. Price 💵💳 Ticket price is RM48 on weekends and RM44 on weekdays. You can buy tickets online, and they also have a combo ticket for 2 parents and 1 child. The entrance line can be long whether you buy online or walk in, you’ll still queue in the same lane. For online tickets, you’ll need to show proof with your MyKad and MyKid. Babies under 2 years old enter for free. Environment 🪼 The place isn’t very spacious, but there are plenty of fish to see. Facilities are okay, but they could really use some improvement because nothing seems to have changed in decades. Parking🚗🚕🚙 For parking, you can park at Suria KLCC and walk through the connecting link between Suria KLCC and Traders Hotel. If you’re at Suria, find the Maybank inside n next to it, there’s a passage that connects directly to Aquaria. Alternative Parking🚗🚕🚙 Alternatively, you can park at the Traders building itself and go up to Level C, or at UOA Open Parking which is about a 5-minute walk away. It’s easy to spot, and parking there costs RM10 per day.

We visited Aquaria KLCC on 29 October, myself, my mom, siblings, and their kids. We had a great time overall! The kids were really entertained, and we truly enjoyed the exhibits and the entire walkthrough. Just to share some feedback for future visitors, I noticed on the website it says the elevator is under maintenance until further notice. Since Im not too familiar with the layout, I thought it referred to the escalator near the entrance. We purchased our tickets online through Klook as planned, but upon arrival, the staff kindly explained that the elevator issue meant we would need to use the stairs between floors. Unfortunately, we had strollers with us, and there were no lockers to keep them, so we had to carry them by hand. Not really a big problem, but it would be super helpful if the website announcement included a photo or a short note explaining which elevator is affected, that way, parents or elderly visitors can plan ahead. Also, a huge thank you to the team for their kindness! Especially the lady near the escalator and Danial at the entrance, they were both incredibly helpful and understanding when I accidentally scanned one extra ticket (for my dad who didnt join the trip). They handled it very professionally and made the whole experience smooth. Despite the small inconvenience, we loved our visit and will definitely come back again for the in adventure!
Fitri N — Google review
The aquarium is well organised and clean, with a good flow from one zone to another. The underwater tunnel was the highlight, walking through it while sharks and stingrays glide above is an amazing sight. The staff were friendly and helpful. The environment is fully air-conditioned, which makes it a comfortable stop in the city. It’s also stroller and wheelchair-friendly and easy to access from Suria KLCC or the Convention Centre. It can get a bit crowded during weekends, but visiting early in the day helps. Overall, it’s a great place to learn about marine life and spend about one to two hours in Kuala Lumpur. Definitely worth visiting!
ZHENG C — Google review
Had a wonderful time at Aquaria KLCC! The entire place is beautifully maintained and gives you a magical underwater experience. From colourful fishes to sharks, stingrays, jellyfish and many unique species, every section is truly fascinating. The 90-meter tunnel walkway was the highlight — it really feels like walking under the ocean! The ambience is calm, the exhibits are well-organised, and the staff is friendly and helpful. It’s a perfect spot to visit with family, friends, or your partner, and you can easily spend 1–2 hours exploring everything. What I didn’t like: The food court outside didn’t have good vegetarian options, which was a little disappointing. Also, the photos they click inside are quite expensive, so keep that in mind before purchasing. Overall, it’s still a must-visit attraction in Kuala Lumpur if you love marine life and want a relaxing, fun experience. Worth visiting at least once!
Priyanka G — Google review
The experience was truly worthwhile and will definitely be coming back again! To those who are interested, I recommend going when you or multiple of your family members are celebrating your birthday on that month to get FREE ENTRY. Not just recommended for tourists, but also for locals. The place is undescribable and you'll definitely want to come again after your first visit. Also, best to visit during weekdays because it's always a full house here for sure, especially on the weekends.
Emcee B — Google review
My recent visit to the aquarium was a short but incredibly positive experience, providing a much-needed break from the everyday hustle. The highlight was standing in front of the massive ocean tunnel tank. For a few minutes, everything else melted away. The deep, calming blue of the water and the graceful, silent movement of the stingrays gliding by felt truly meditative.
Mr H — Google review
The aquarium in the center of Twinter has many uniquely shaped and bold tanks that really caught my attention. You can see impressive fish like Biracle and Villania from various angles, making the whole experience feel like a little adventure. It’s a fun and exciting place, and I truly recommend visiting it.

Berjaya Times Square Theme Park

Mentioned on

Theme park

Amusement park
Berjaya Times Square Theme Park is a massive indoor theme park located in Malaysia, spanning across two floors within the Berjaya Time Square Kuala Lumpur. The park offers a diverse range of attractions suitable for both thrill-seekers and young children. With its Fantasy Garden catering to little kids and Galaxy Station designed for adrenaline junkies, the park promises an exciting experience for all visitors. From thrilling rides to interactive games and virtual entertainment, there's something for everyone to enjoy.
A Thrilling Escape in the Heart of KL: My Visit to Berjaya Times Square Theme Park 5/5 Stars Visited Berjaya Times Square Theme Park on a rainy afternoon in November 2025, and it turned out to be the perfect indoor adventure to beat Kuala Lumpur's unpredictable weather. Nestled right inside the massive Berjaya Times Square shopping mall on Levels 5 and 7, this spot is a game-changer for families or anyone craving some adrenaline without stepping outside. As Malaysia's largest indoor theme park, spanning a whopping 133,000 square feet, it delivers non-stop fun across two zones: the high-octane Galaxy Station for thrill-seekers and the whimsical Fantasy Garden for the little ones. We kicked things off with the Supersonic Odyssey Roller Coaster – a twisting, looping beast that had us screaming in the best way possible. It's compact but packs a punch, and at just RM 14.80 for entry tickets (booked online via Trip.com for a smooth 20% discount), the value is unbeatable. The park's 13 rides, like the Robo Crash bumper cars and the dizzying Spinning Orbit, kept us bouncing between laughter and heart-pounding excitement for over three hours. For kids, the Fantasy Labyrinth – Malaysia's first crochet playground – was a highlight; it's colorful, interactive, and surprisingly therapeutic after the faster rides. What I loved most was how seamless it all felt. No long queues (even on a weekend), friendly staff guiding us through safety checks, and easy access from the MRT (just a 7-minute walk from Pudu station). The air-conditioned mall vibe means you can grab a quick bite – think nuggets, waffles, and ice cream from nearby stalls for around RM 40-60 – without missing a beat. Pro tip: Opt for the combo ticket if you're eyeing the extra VR rides or 4D cinema; they're worth the upcharge for that immersive wow factor. Sure, the park shows a bit of its age in spots (some rides feel like they could use a fresh coat of paint), but that doesn't detract from the joy. It's not Sunway Lagoon's scale, but for an urban quick-hit of entertainment, it's spot-on. If you're in KL with kids or just need a fun break from shopping, this is your go-to. Can't wait to return – next time, we're tackling the Haunted House! Highly recommended for all ages. 🎢
Manish T — Google review
I was quite disappointed with this theme park. The selection of rides for kids was not very attractive, and the height restrictions were higher compared to other theme parks I’ve visited around the world. This further limited the options for children, especially those between the ages of 8 to 13. Most rides seemed to be either for very small kids or adults, leaving little in between. While some adult rides like the roller coaster were decent, other attractions such as the Go-Kart were closed for a private event. This was frustrating, especially considering we had paid full price for entry — it’s simply not fair to block access to rides that are included in the ticket. Several other rides were also closed, which only added to the disappointment. What’s more, even if you're just accompanying your children and not planning to go on any rides, you still have to pay around RM80, which I find unreasonable. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this theme park. It’s overpriced and lacks value, especially for families with kids in the 8–13 age group. Definitely not worth it in my opinion.
Junaid T — Google review
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Berjaya Times Square is a huge shopping mall with a great mix of stores, restaurants, and entertainment options — even an indoor theme park! It’s a fun place to spend the day and you can find almost anything here. However, the layout can feel a bit confusing at times and some areas could use a refresh. Overall, a lively spot in the heart of Kuala Lumpur worth visiting.
Nafis F — Google review
Fun and excitement right in the heart of Kuala Lumpur! 🎢🎠 Berjaya Times Square Theme Park is a must-visit attraction if you’re in KL — especially if you’re looking for an indoor adventure where fun meets convenience. Located on the 5th and 7th floors of Berjaya Times Square Mall, this is Malaysia’s largest indoor theme park, and it truly lives up to its reputation. The park is divided into two main zones — Galaxy Station (for thrill seekers) and Fantasy Garden (for families and younger kids). Galaxy Station features the iconic Supersonic Odyssey roller coaster, a full-loop indoor coaster that’s both thrilling and smooth. Other exciting rides include Spinning Orbit, DNA Mixer, and Ooorts Express, all perfect for adrenaline lovers. Fantasy Garden is colorful and cheerful, filled with kid-friendly rides like Buddy Go Round, Molly-Cool’s Swing, and Honey Bump bumper cars. There’s even a small arcade area and snack stalls throughout the park. 💰 Ticket prices: Adults (13–54 years): Around RM 70–80 Children (3–12 years): Around RM 60–70 Seniors (55+): Around RM 35–40 Children under 3 enter free. (Prices may vary slightly depending on promotions or public holidays.) The park is well-maintained, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s fully air-conditioned, making it an excellent escape from the city’s heat or rain. Food options are easily accessible since the theme park is inside the Berjaya Times Square Mall — you’ll find everything from fast food to local restaurants just outside the park entrance. 🎟️ Tips: Try visiting on weekdays to avoid long queues, especially for the roller coaster. You can re-enter the park on the same day, so feel free to take breaks for lunch or shopping. Perfect for family outings, birthday parties, or just a fun afternoon with friends.

I only explored the outside. Don't go inside. But I can say that this place is in the middle of the city.. I recommend you to stay in the areas close to here. I stayed near here for three days. The food options are great. I also recommend Bar Street, which is a 10-minute walk away.

Very good shopping mole. They got all kinds of shopping items. Easy to access. Good service. Prices are usually little bit higher buy in some stoles we can bargain and buy for cheeper prices.
Punsisi K — Google review
This is a remarkably large place! It seems to have a wide variety of shops, excellent bargains, and appealing food choices. The layout appears well-organized for walking, and I would suggest beginning at the upper levels and working your way down, as I observed some more affordable options there.
Muaaz A — Google review
Located in the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s bustling Bukit Bintang area, Berjaya Times Square is a massive and vibrant mall complex offering over 1,000 retail outlets across its multiple floors . It’s a magnet for both bargain seekers and budget-conscious visitors. Fashion lovers will appreciate the abundance of affordable clothing stores. Many stalls offer women’s apparel from RM 10 to RM 50—about US$2.50 to US$12.50—perfect for the savvy fashionista watching her wallet . Add to that outlet-style shops and small technology kiosks, and you’ve got a one-stop shop for great deals . Food-wise, the mall doesn’t disappoint. With more than 60 dining options, including casual food court fare on the 10th floor and international cafés like Sushi King and Dôme, you can refuel without breaking the bank . For entertainment, the indoor theme park—home to Asia’s longest indoor roller coaster—and family-friendly attractions add fun to your shopping trip, offering good value for money too . Though it’s not a luxury destination, Berjaya Times Square shines in its diversity, affordability, and lively atmosphere. Whether you’re in it for budget fashion finds, electronic bargains, or a full day of fun, it offers excellent bang-for-buck value. Ideal for families, teens, and anyone exploring KL on a shoestring.

Ordered beef wraps. The wraps were well seasoned and it was well cooked. Nice presentation though. A must try is the premium nectar drink or a.k.a carbonated nira. It was so good. The atmosphere and environment for this place is great as well. Spacious, proper lighting made all the differences here.

Great place to hangout. Simple decorated place but very style and cool. Many delicious foods to try. Many choices of western foods. The foods are delicious. Well cooked and yummy. The service just average. For me, the price is quiet pricey, not really suitable with the portion. Overall, everything is okay, not bad.

Kemensah Valley, a small recreational area close to Kuala Lumpur, offers an ideal getaway from the urban environment. This tranquil valley provides a vibrant green oasis where visitors can enjoy fresh air and natural beauty. It is recommended for families seeking a camping experience. Despite this limitation, Kemensah Valley Recreation and Chalet remains a pleasant destination for nature lovers looking to escape the city's hustle and bustle.

Spent two days one night for a school camp trip. The site has good basic facilities; tents, cottages, toilets, Muslim prayer room, and a shop. It is surrounded by jungle and flowing rivers. Parking areas are available just outside the campsite. The operator offers team building activities. They are friendly and knowledgeable about outdoor activities. The meals provided by the site are delicious. All activities are conducted outdoors. It would be difficult when it rains as there is no big hall to cater to the campers for indoor activities.
Ammar S — Google review
The children loved it and we loved it too. I wanted to give 4 stars because there’s only 1 toilet & 1 bathroom to be shared. Maybe the other side of the campsite has another 1 toilet & bathroom but still I think they can add more. Overall, it’s a nice place to camp & perfect for family. Just prepare yourself with the limited toilet & shower.

Nice place. Quite clean. The river is not too deep and the current is moderate. Safe for bringing small children. Need to pay 5 ringgit for the parking and also pay for entry as well. They do provide tent rental if you need some privacy there. Can overnight there with some charges. Better to book if you want to go there.

You must pay to rent a site along the river and parking fees. The water is not too deep and suitable for children. You can have barbeque here. Best for family picnic and events. I visit here with my friends and really have a good time. Highly recommended and you will not regret it.

Get closer to the nature smartest way. Located deep inside Kemensah Hill, Ampang. Its a small route and driving around here need some consideration and awareness. The place have nice location with wonderful river along its property. People can choose or rent some of the place whether a small camping spot, or 1 room chalet. Always depend on what kind of activities you and your group prefered. Well organized and strategic along the river bank. You can also rent out their cooking equipment or even asked for an extra air matress for your tent. But, the downside is their public toilet or restroom. This place simply neglected this basic necessity for the people. Unhygienic toilet, lack of water, cramp restroom, dirty and smelly toilet. Same goes with their chalet. Its not very well maintain and some of the chalet equipment is out of order or in a very poor state. Totally unfair with their price and condition. Should do much more better work on this issue.
Hafiz H — Google review
The parking is very small. Bathrooms are wet and dirty. The tents are very new and clean. The wooden platforms next to the river are old and dusty, not very comfortable. Kids had a great time playing in the river though.

Bukit Batu Chondong (Entrance)

Hiking area
Bukit Batu Chondong offers a challenging yet satisfying hiking experience, with a steep and at times technical climb to the top. The 30-45 minute hike is recommended for nature lovers and hikers, featuring ropes for support along the way. The trail leads to three different viewpoints, with the main rock offering an exceptional panoramic view.
Although just a short trail of hiking (around 30 to 45 minutes depends upon your fitness)…it does test your endurance as it’s ascending from the very beginning to the peak. The trail quite slippery and you have to be very careful as you walk through the bushes of bamboos… mind your head because you have to bend down as well as you walk through it. Oh 1st of all you’ve got to get a permit to enter here. And way up to the peak is quite steep and tricky because you need to rock climbing so please be extra careful. View is 360 degrees. Very nice view they had up there and you can see Genting from here too.

Rented carpark for Kamensah ttail hiking at rm5 per entrance. With toilet facility. Ok, convenient. Climb the steep hill to enter Bukit Condong trail and Batu Asah Waterfall. Needs permit to enter, or else rent ATV service which include permit package.
Yh L — Google review
Start hike at 6:30 am. Good time for sunrise view is around 7:15 am. Hike and climbing apx 30-40mins to the the peak. Many dogs here. 3 options to the peak, you can choose the easier trail if you don't like to climb a tree.
A T — Google review
The road leading up to the trail head is narrow, and need to do tight maneuver when there's on coming traffic. As shared by others, there's a comfortable parking space just slightly after the trailhead, but it's private land, so it charges RM5 per car (at time of writing this review). The trail is indeed slippery and steep, so need proper shoes with good traction, especially towards the top where it's rocky. At the peak, there's a path around the rock to reach the top (magnificent view), if you're not confident to scale the almost vertical rock with ropes.
Ben G — Google review
First time went there and find out it’s kinda difficult at the end of the route. When you want to climb up to see the sunset or sunrise it’s kinda hard to climb up. So far we make it and get to enjoy the view! Very peaceful and beautiful! Love this place!
Joeeim — Google review
Nice quick hike, gotta be early to avoid the crowd as the peak will be congested due to the size ✌️✌️✌️

For all the hikers and nature lover, this place will be so satisfying. Lets start with short hike around 30 to 45 minutes. The hike will be challenging and there is rope attach aside for support. The mainframe will be the top view of Bukit Batu Chondong. Totally there is 3 place where can get the view and make sure check all this three for greater experience. The main rock where there is signboars of the height of the place will get best ever feeling. Damn much recommended for all the people. Enjoy the greater view of the Malaysia. Add info , there is small waterfall but we are unable to sibce its the day was raining and tired. Those wish can give try as welll.

Tried the Sun Dubu Jjigae, Dol Sot Bibimbap, Cheese Tteokbokki & Nok Cha Bingsu — everything was superb! 💯 The portions are quite big and perfect for sharing with family. The staff were very nice and helpful, making the whole dining experience even better. Had such a great time here and will definitely come back again. Highly recommended! oh, they also provide free side dish too!! ❤️

Cheese topokki paling sedap pernah rasa. If i go here again, i will surely order this again. Fried mandu are also nice. Dolsot bibimbap pun sedap. They give a bottle of the gochujang sauce yg kena gaul dgn nasi so you can put as much as you want. Fried chicken pun sedap. Tak ingat apa nama dia. I like the spiciness and flavor. Kim mari is also good but not my fav. Tteok kko chi is also not realy my fav. But i think other flavors maybe sedap. This cheese sprinkles are not as good as i expected tho. Hotteok dia sedap gilaaaa! Really love it. Will repeat this one too. They also give free salad and banchan. For ala carte menu, you can only refill twice. And as for bbq, you can refill once. They also have good ambience and environment. The prices are slightly higher but i don't regret spending my money here since the food is good.

Everything about the food was absolutely superb!! My partner and I enjoyed every single bite! Chef’s kiss! 😙🤌🏽The owner was so welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. We’ll definitely be coming back again! 😍
Nia R — Google review
The food was great, as usual. Sweetree has been our family’s gathering restaurant since it was a small outlet in 2017 and I am happy to watch it grow after almost 10 years. The owner is always friendly and kind, and also came to say Hi as usual. However, I was disappointed today that I was told by the second floor female staff that we were unable to change our seatings to an empty table “because it will confuse the system”. I came here with my girlfriend to celebrate her birthday today but we had to sit at the ivy table next to the stairs. I never had this issue in any other restaurants so I am quite disappointed that Sweetree does not allow its customers to move their orders to another empty table. Hope to see some improvements in the future. Image is the usual interaction we had with the friendly owner, back in 2018, really recommended to visit.
Md N — Google review
Came early on a weekday so managed to get parking spot in front of restaurant. They reserved around 5-7 lots for Sweetree customers 👍🏼 Came with my sister, we both are avid Korean food lovers. We loved the food made here 🫶🏼 Also happened to meet and have a chat with the owner Mr Park, a kind and friendly gentleman 😁 Will come again with the whole family to try their bbq. Keep up the good work! 💪🏼

The food here is so good, and the place feels really peaceful (especially before peak hours). The ground floor is for BBQ, while the upstairs is for à la carte orders. The portions are big, and everything was just perfect—we truly loved it! Oh, and I almost forgot to mention, when you order the kimchi jjigae, it comes with a generous set of banchan (side dishes), which was such a nice bonus!
Guovar — Google review
The food is delicious, we came in a group of 4 and ordered many different types of food, seollongtang, sundubu chigae, kimbap, japchae and many others. There are designated parking lots for patrons however there are still many parking spots around the area. They also have photo-taking areas upstairs.

Foong Foong Yong Tau Foo

Chinese restaurant
Foong Foong Yong Tau Foo is a renowned establishment in Ampang, known for its traditional Hakka-style yong tau foo. The restaurant maintains the old-school method of preparing the dish, with skilled aunties meticulously hand-filling fish paste into various ingredients such as bitter gourd and beancurd skins. A popular choice is the mixed platter, offering a variety of favorites like stuffed brinjal, bitter gourd, tofu, and fishballs.
Reasonably priced yong tau fu. Food comes very fast after ordering. You must try the fried stuff - they are crispy, warm and juicy on the inside. Parking can be difficult during the peak hours. The yong tau fu portions are huge! Pls try of fish paste for every piece. Highly recommended. Thumbs up! A must try for anyway visiting Kuala Lumpur!
Ron Y — Google review
When you drive by this place, you cannot help but drop your jaw!!! Three shops in a row - all competing with one another in one dish -- Yong Tau Foo! Ampang Homeland Yong Tau Foo, Orchard View Yong Tau Foo and Foong Foong Yong Tau Foo are all sited just next to each other on a road where parking spaces are almost chaotic and people ask you for money when you park outside their property!! Seriously, i wont be able to tell which outlet to go to if Youtubers like Elmo Lee and Nick Catman hadn't left me some tiis and hints! 1. Ampang Homeland serves Halal YTF 2. Orchard View varies its offerings by adding claypot meats and veggies 3. Foong Foong relies very much on just YTF. We ordered the usual - stuffed red chillies, ladies fingers, White Tahu and Tahu Pok. We also tried both versions of the meat dumplings - soup and fried. The FRIED ones are better because they contain meat and water chestnuts, making them sweet, crunchy and umami-filled. The soup dumplings lack taste and texture. The pieces are big so i hope you dont have eyes that are larger than your stomach capacity. Overall taste is mild(no MSG or salt fish taste) and i love the dumpling soup because it's the only dish that comes with bits of sawi veggies!
Jackie — Google review
Arrived at [Foong Foong YTF] in Ampang for a couple of firsts. Our first time in Ampang, and our first time having traditional Ampang YTF, for our first meal of the day! Overall, ok lah. It wasn't quite what we expected, but to be fair, we didn't know quite what to expect. Personally, I feel it isn't bad, but it wasn't great. Which is perfectly fine. The best item has to be the fried dumplings, which we ordered extras. Their YTF is massive, rustic and homely. It's similar to our traditional fish paste based YTF, but denser because of the mix.
Floyd L — Google review
Visited Foong Foong Yong Tau Foo on 2nd November 2025. Each piece of yong tau foo is priced at RM2.20, while a plate of vegetables is RM12. They don’t serve noodles here — only rice is available as a staple. The shop has its own private parking area in front, which can accommodate up to 20 cars, making it convenient for customers.
LT W — Google review
(15 Sep 2025). Three restaurants selling Yong tau fu were next to each other - Ampang Homeland, Orchard View and Foong Foong. Car parking was a problem. We tried Foong Foong and found the Yong tau fu ordinary. The meat infill was a bit salty. The white tau fu texture wasn’t smooth. The soup did not fare too well in terms of flavour. Yong tau fu cost RM2.20 per piece.
William W — Google review
Today's lunch was at the most anticipated restaurant I wanted to try for many years. The YTF - White Tofu, Fish Ball, Stuffed Chilli were below average - 4/10 The Fried Beancurd, Fried Dumpling were better - 7/10 The Soup Dumpling was average - 6.5/10
Ronnie F — Google review
Love the yong tau foo. Came on a weekend and it was crowded but we were quickly seated. Non airconditioned but still comfortable with lots of fans. You order by pieces and every piece is huge including the tofu and dumplings. There will be people hawking their misc items eg keropok and lottery tickets which was a little annoying but it’s fine. Will miss this place!
LY — Google review
Quite nice the fish-paste-fillings of the yong tau fu. All are freshly cooked. But the sweet sauce n chilli sauce kill the dish :/ Not so much of varieties but they are authentic. Only rice to go with, i would prefer to hv some noodles or chee cheong fun to pair with yongtaufu.

La Risata Bar Pizzeria Ristorante in Ampang is a beloved Italian restaurant known for its comforting Italian dishes and warm service. The menu features reliable classics, including long-standing favorites like the Salmon Ravioli. With a mix of modern and traditional design, the restaurant offers a romantic yet affordable dining experience. It's also a great spot for vegetarians with several meat-free options available.
Italian restaurant with dishes you may have not heard of. The pasta we tried was the weekly specials, cant remember the name but it was so good. It’s RM50++ but please share as it may get jelak. The pizza is a thin crust pizza, you’d be able to taste different types of meat. The bread as appetizer was good too. Served hot.

La Risata at this location badly needs a make over. It’s dark and dim. Energy heavy. Although the team was pleasant enough. Service efficient. It’s been here forever. Sadly, owners don’t even consider a general makeover especially nowadays when new eateries are everywhere! We ordered the usual- salad, pasta & pizza. The pasta wrapped in the foil is so yesterday. Good but nothing to shout about.

Went for a lunch during weekend, crowd was far less than expected. Waiters with good service and attentive, food also taste good and portion slightly bigger than expected. Price slightly higher hence only can afford once in a while. p.s. the pizza with gorgonzola cheese (blue cheese) taste better than expected

La Risata (Ampang) – Hidden Gem for Italian Cravings Dec 2024, Dined at La Risata Bar Pizzeria Ristorante in Ampang and had a surprisingly peaceful experience—we were the only table dining in the entire time! A little unusual, but it made for a quiet and cozy evening. We ordered the Pepperoni Pizza, Spaghetti Polpette, Spaghetti Vongole, and Tiramisu to end the meal—and everything was delicious. The pizza was fresh with a great balance of spice and cheese, both pasta dishes were rich and flavorful, and the tiramisu was a perfect, indulgent finish. The manager was attentive and friendly, making sure we had everything we needed throughout. Combined with the nice ambiance, it made for a lovely Italian dining experience. Highly recommend if you're looking for good Italian food in Ampang—definitely a spot worth visiting again!

It's known for its superb coffee and offers a variety of dishes including the favorite Eggs Florentine and Salted Caramel Apple Cheesecake. The cafe has become a local favorite, offering an exciting version 4.0 menu with hot dishes alongside pastas, gourmet sandwiches, and salads.
I went to this café for lunch and coffee with a friend. The place has a stylish look, both outside and inside. The cute display of cakes, scones, and cookies, along with the cozy furniture, gave off a nice European café vibe. We ordered eggs Benedict—one with chicken and one with smoked salmon. They looked small, but were actually pretty filling! The iced Americano was smooth and easy to drink. For dessert, we tried a cake called “Matcha Matcha,” which had layers of matcha and vanilla. It was really tasty and had a nice balance of flavors. The staff were super friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even better. The food, drinks, and sweets were all great, and the atmosphere was really comfortable. I’d definitely love to come back! I picked up some goodies to take home—chocolate chip cookies, a plain scone, and a raisin scone. So happy I did🤎

Restaurant 28 Fireplace is a cozy and inviting café located in Ampang, Kuala Lumpur, well-regarded for its delicious food, friendly service, and relaxing ambiance. I had the opportunity to try their Fruity Waffles (RM28), a delightful dish featuring seasonal berries, Muscat grapes, house berry compote, Canadian maple syrup, and vanilla ice cream. I also enjoyed their Mocha Cold (RM17), a classic café beverage. The café is located in Ampang, an area with many foreigners and embassies, which explains why it attracts a lot of Mat Salleh diners. The food is nice, but it’s a bit pricey.

Went to 28 Fireplace after my Sunday morning run. Got there early around 8:30am, and it was nice and quiet with only two tables occupied. I ordered the Wagyu toast and wow, it was delicious. A little sweet from the terayaki sauce, and the side salad with the zesty dressing was super refreshing. It really balanced the whole meal. Then I tried the sweet ricotta toast which was also really good. I like this one a lot. The ricotta, fig, and honey were perfectly balanced. Only thing is, the seeds were a bit too much for me. Coffee had a slightly burnt taste, but still decent overall. Around 9am, the crowd started coming in and the place got busy. The cafe has cats too. They're super cute and chill atmosphere. Prices are on the higher side, but the food quality is really good. Recommended!

Coffee is not too strong, for those who love coffee with milk they are good. Waffle are extra crunchy. Fries is just on point, not overly hard or soggy. There is a empty land down the road for parking. Kudos team keep up the good work in serving good food to ur customer.

Asian fusion restaurant
If you're on the hunt for an unforgettable culinary experience in Ampang, look no further than Kim Kee Nasi Ayam Hailam. This beloved eatery has captured the hearts of many locals who have fond memories of enjoying its authentic Hainanese chicken rice. Here, you can savor tender chicken—whether poached or roasted—paired with aromatic buttered rice and a selection of flavorful condiments that elevate each bite. It's a must-visit spot for anyone craving halal delights in Malaysia!
We had dinner with family and really enjoyed the food. The quality was great, and the prices were reasonable. It’s a cozy spot for a casual meal with loved ones. Only downside—parking was a bit tricky to find, so plan ahead if you're driving.
Damak D — Google review
KIM KEE Nasi Ayam Hailam might sound like your typical Chinese-style eatery, but don’t let the name fool you — this place is fully halal and proudly caters to everyone, whether you’re Malay, Chinese, Indian, or anything in between. A smart and inclusive business move that’s clearly working well for them. While the name suggests Hainanese chicken rice as the star (and yes, it’s on the menu), the surprise is their wide variety, including Western dishes that give everyone at the table something to enjoy. My brother and I went for the Western grilled chicken — a real throwback to classic Malaysian-style “Western food,” complete with broccoli, corn, mashed potatoes, and carrots. It’s that local version of Western cuisine we grew up with — simple, comforting, and familiar. Not trying to be fancy, just good ol’ hearty fare. My brother raved about their Beef Wellington, which he tried with my niece on a previous visit. According to him, it was surprisingly superb — though I didn’t get to try it since I’ve stopped eating beef these days. Overall, KIM KEE is a down-to-earth spot for a satisfying meal with mates or family. Nothing pretentious, just thoughtful food that caters to every taste — and every community. A place that feeds both the stomach and the spirit.
CZ — Google review
During our first visit on Saturday night around 8 PM, my boyfriend and I discovered that the chicken rice was sold out. Instead, we ordered some Western food, which was really delicious and I loved the mashed potatoes! However, the downside was that the service was quite slow, and there were many empty tables stacked with dirty dishes. However, on my second visit with my family on weekdays, I could taste the nasi ayam and the service was not that slow compared to the first visit. Overall, I would love to come again for their nasi ayam and for the western cause its so good 👍
Anyssa N — Google review
Reach to the store around 3pm. Quite slow to serve my order. For me, rice nothing special not fragrant enough, but for chicken part I think it’s better than normal Chinese store, which they give u a real part of the chicken, not small piece of maybe breast meat then flatten it to look big in portion. Mostly Malay customers when I was there. Price for normal part of chicken rice is rm8.50 which worth to try.
Andrea Y — Google review
Stopped by Kim Kee Nasi Ayam Hailam for a bit of nostalgia. I do like that they open quite early. The original taste has changed — roast chicken was over-poached and not quite like the old days, but still passable as comfort food. A bold stray cat hovered around the tables, which made the dining experience a bit uncomfortable, especially with kids. Staff didn’t seem to mind. Overall, it’s okay but I probably wouldn’t return for the chicken rice. The western food next to it seems tempting but I imagine the cat will like that too.
Noelle N — Google review
I’ve been dining at this restaurant since I was a kid and have always loved both their chicken rice and Western food. But on my most recent visit, I noticed a decline in both service and cleanliness. I understand that Western dishes take time to prepare, but waiting nearly an hour and a half for our food was a bit excessive. What surprised me more was that even tables ordering chicken rice, a dish that’s typically quick to serve faced unusually long waits (up to 30 minutes). When the chicken is pre-cooked and the rice just needs scooping, such delays are hard to justify no? The restaurant’s hygiene standards also seem to have slipped. I watched a waitress sweep crumbs and debris directly onto the floor, which was already littered with bones, tissues, and spilt rice. For a place that I've been visiting since I was younger till now, this was really disappointing to see. I’m sharing this as someone who genuinely wants to keep coming back. This restaurant holds a lot of nostalgia for me, but if these issues aren’t addressed, I’ll have no choice but to take my patronage elsewhere. I hope the owner takes this feedback seriously because loyal customers like me want to keep supporting you.
Melissa F — Google review
Went for dinner around 9pm and sat down waiting for a waiter, but no one noticed us until we went to the counter ourselves. Service was quite slow — it took about 25+ minutes just for a grilled chicken. The food itself was okay, but the overall experience could be improved with better attentiveness and faster service. I’d love to try their chicken rice next time and hope the service will be better.

This is my go-to for their beef soup. The soup is on the sweeter side, and they're generous with their beef portion. Served with rice. Typically, I addon some fried chicken along with this. Quality has been consistent throughout the years. Atmosphere is amazing and comforting.

We ordered Spicy Beef Soup & Korean Fish Set. Food: Korean Fish Set was awesome! However, the Spicy Beef Soup wasn’t served hot. The meat is a bit tough, perhaps they overcooked. The soup taste is average, we have tasted better elsewhere. Ambience: Love it! Clean and chic looking! Service: Average. Food arrived quite fast.

I had jajangmyeon and jjamppong at B Station today, and it was truly disappointing. The noodles in the jajangmyeon lacked elasticity and broke apart easily, while the sauce was bland and watery. The jjamppong, on the other hand, was overly salty, and the mussels had an unpleasant smell. This was by far the worst Chinese food experience I’ve had in Malaysia. With this kind of quality, it might be better to remove these dishes from the menu.

I was here for the food obviously. They are famous for the fish so I ordered the grilled salted baked tilapia. The fish was fragrant and delicious. Overall a good dish. I also tried their Thai Style Lime Steam Siakap which was sourly sweet and spicy which I liked it. The other dishes like tom yum was not too spicy and. Fried egg was yummy. Overall a good dinner and will come again.

Authentic Thai food in KL city with cozy ambience and KL night view. I really like the fragrant BBQ platter, sour&spicy Tom yam seafood and Thai style lime steam sea bass. They are all so delicious and fresh. The portion is good for sharing. I’ll come back again with my family.

Went here for dinner. Order 3 dishes, i would say the food quality drop abit, the salt baked fish not really taste good. Bean curd with crab meat abit pricey. Services abit slow. But credit to the chinese aunty, she really give good service and follow up. Parking and environment good.

Good food and definitely will come back again. Tofu with Crab Meat, Petai with Prawn (Thai Style Fried) and Basil White Clam.

I love the food so much they have the authentic thai food especially their sticky mango!!! and the environment is giving nature and calm place. Definitely will come again!!

Had dinner with friends here. Location was strategic with easy paid parking. They serve Thai food, but taste wise, I was quite disappointed. The green chicken curry and fried seabass were decent, but the rest of the dishes lacked flavour, something was missing. I’ve been to their first branch in Ampang before, and this outlet is quite different. Overall, just an okay experience.

I had to came back the second time. The food were, in my opinion, really delicious. The green curry definitely stole the spotlight.

Sapore Ristorante Italian Spanish Cuisines Ampang KL is a charming restaurant that offers an inviting atmosphere and a fusion of authentic Italian and Spanish-Mediterranean flavors. The menu features a diverse selection of dishes and cold cuts, accompanied by a carefully curated wine list. A must-try dish is the Mushroom Potato Croquette, a popular Spanish tapas that combines creamy mashed potatoes with portobello mushroom filling, deep-fried to perfection.
First time here. Best to make reservations. I made my reservation pretty late but luckily they still being helpful and found us seats. Nice ambient. Parking could be an issue but we came early and managed to park in front of the restaurant. Food and drinks were awesome. I love the cold cut platter. Cheese wise I'm so so with them. Pork neck and pizza were very tasty. Ordered two bottles of wine currently under promotion, RM108/bottle. Waiters are friendly.

Food is alright. I got a simple fried chicken chop with mash potatoes by the side. Free flat bread with olive oil and vinegar. Pretty tasty bread. The fried chicken has a nice coating and crunch but nothing remarkable about its seasoning. The mash potato however was unique in a good way. Never have i tasted a mash potato that is unusually seasoned, again in a good way. Price is on the steep side.

Surprising good Italian food. Good ingredients, tasty and delicious. Service is friendly and fast. Menu is comprehensive with their daily extra special. Dessert are good too.

Always love coming here with mom. We popped by for breakfast or dinner occasionally and during MCO, we missed the food so much we actually ordered it and got it delivered. So far, we love their menu and their service. Bonus point for the location as it is so near home. It is a good place to hang out and spend celebratory moments with friend and family.

This hidden gem hidden behind Jalan Ampang flyover offers fantastic food at fairly reasonable price. The pizza is really well made and pasta is prepared just right. The main star must be the pork chop. It's juicy and tender and the mash that comes with it is fluffy. Icing of the meal is the well made sangria. The restaurant offers a variety of cocktails. Booking is definitely recommended.

Nothing Beats A Scrumptious Iberico Meal First off, this is a review on their delivery service and not dine-in. “Serving you Artisan Food and Fine Wine”. A very unique statement from a Spanish-Mediterranean Restaurant nestled deep within the heart of Kuala Lumpur City. Well decorated with online reviews singing praises, how do they fare in a delivery service? Service: We placed the order via a third party app which was pretty straight forward. Packaging: Ordinary take away boxes. 4 Pieces Iberico Pork Ribs with Barbecue Sauce & Mashed Potatoes (RM 64.40) Iberico Pork shares similar traits and is often compared to Wagyu Beef. Both are revered for their beautifully marbled meat laced with fat. Today, the ribs we had were immensely juicy and succulent which came close enough to falling off the bone. However, they were rather sparing with the amount of meat on each rib. The accompanying barbecue sauce gave the dish an exciting smoky finish. We rested the ribs on a bed of mashed potatoes which had a very creamy and fine texture, almost as though they were from a powdered mix with a nice touch of butter. The garden fresh vegetables were crunchy and drizzled with a generous amount of salad dressing . Recommended? No doubt the meat was soft, tender and flavourful but would have been more satisfying had there been a little more meat-to-bone ratio Our full review with more photos can be found on Instagram & YouTube (@monk3yseendo)

Awesome food & really top notch service. Really friendly staff who took time to explain the menu. Food cooked to perfection. Never a fan of Tiramisu in KL as most places serve you a slice of cake, but over here the Tiramisu is really mind blowing. Highly recommended. Overall, i would say its the best Italian - Spanish - Med Restaurant in KL. Will definitely return for more

Amazing Restaurant. Very nice environment. Most importantly, food is always authentic, cold cuts are super fresh, and owner is almost always there to make sure that food is well prepared. Very generous owner too! Price is reasonable.

Thai restaurant
Tamarind Springs is a hidden gem located within Ampang's natural forest reserve, just a 15-minute drive from the city. The restaurant boasts traditional Indochinese cuisine and is beautifully designed with architecture inspired by traditional houses. The space is adorned with rustic Balinese furniture, stone-carved statues, traditional paintings, subdued lighting, and lush greenery.
I visited for their lunch à la carte menu, and the food was delicious and above average. The ingredients were fresh, and all dishes were prepared upon order. They don’t serve any precooked meals, allowing you to adjust the flavors to suit your taste buds. Be cautious with their spicy dishes, as they can be quite fiery—make sure to request less spice if needed. Side note: Do prepare yourself a mosquito repellent if you are easily attracted to mosquito. FOOD great, SERVICE poor, BUILDING wonderful and let down by poor TOILET hygiene. BUILDING: Pleasant architecture and it's Balinese rather than Thai. Candle lit entrance path and lovely wood interior. FOOD: Everything was fabulous taste especially the appetisers. MEN'S TOILETS: absolutely shameful condition of the urinals which have broken surfaces and an overwhelming stench of urine. You wouldn't expect a public toilet to be this bad. The once quaint concrete urinals need proper maintenance or replacing with modern porcelain urgently. SERVICE: Great first few minutes then we found ourselves searching and trying to engage staff who were more busy rearranging furniture and chatting to each other. The appetisers and main dishes all came at the same time; really NOT good etiquette. CLEARING TABLE: A waiter wanted to take my plate whilst my partner was still eating and the waiter found it strange I disagreed with him when I asked him to wait. In general dining etiquette, it is considered most proper for all plates to be cleared at the same time, AFTER everyone at the table has finished eating. This shows respect for the shared experience and avoids rushing anyone. RESERVATION: We asked about needing a reservation on a Sunday evening and were told it can be busy; as it turns out the place was 80% empty the whole time. OUR THOUGHTS: It would be wonderful to eat here in heavy rain because the atmosphere of the building and its location feeling as if in the middle of the jungle trees would be sensational.

The location is really great, I loved the lighting on the walkway to the sitting area. There was a wide variety of food available on our chosen menu. They all looked and tasted fresh and well spiced. The service was sometimes slow but we had a large party to serve. All in all a great place to meet and relax with good food.

We came here as part of the urban escape package staycation with Villa Samadhi. All I knew about this place was they served Thai food. We loved the ambience here. It was romantically set. Ideal for couples. Nice experience dining in the forest. Sounds of insects in the forest at night. Nice view, air, and lighting. Service was superb. We had the 4 course meal which came with starter, main course and dessert. Each dish was unique. I loved the starter, to the tomyum soup, main course and dessert. Each dish was generous in portion and ingredients. It is a class above other Thai restaurants. We would definitely return again to celebrate future occasions here.

Came here a few years ago and they had weekend brunch as well but the menu had much less dishes to choose from so the price was lower. This time we brought a friend over for weekend brunch, the menu had much more options and the price was also much higher. The food was tasty but the service was not quite satisfactory. We ordered some dishes we liked several times as they were very small portions but they just sent us other dishes that we did not order, but as they were yummy, we just ate. The speed of serving was not fast enough, either, which made us feel that they were delaying to slow down our eating speed. Otherwise, this is a nice place to dine.

Food was okay, nothing too much to mention. We ordered quite a lot from the menu and we found the taste is less flavourful but acceptable to general standard. Portion is actually quite big, so for one dish, u can share with 2-3 people. Service was where Im honestly kinda dissatisfied. We were a group of young people so we might not giving off the classy vibe as per the others. However, one of the server treated us totally different from the others. He was putting his hand on my chair to take the order and he sounds so “not happy” to explain whats the dish is. But the most disappointed thing is we came for a suprise birthday occassion, but idk if the server is not the sharpest tool in the shed or he was genuinely didnt care about our situation, as he came STRAIGHT to us and ASKED the table, whos BIRTHDAY was it. Like do he even know what “suprise” means.
Ezzam F — Google review
The food is quite good, definitely above average. But the main issue is the lack of staff. I went on a Tuesday afternoon, and it was quite hard to get hold of a service crew because there were only three people working. One was handling the tea bar and cocktail bar, one was at the cashier, and the last one had to manage all the customers. I honestly feel that having one or two more staff would make the service much smoother. The environment, though, is really top-notch—super chill and peaceful. It’s perfect for someone like me who enjoys getting away from the hustle and bustle. It’s a great place to have meaningful conversations and spend quality time with someone special.

The Butter Pantry, a newly opened cafe in Koreatown, Ampang, is the latest venture from the creators of That Last Bite bakery. Situated above Hanwoori Restaurant, this cozy spot offers an array of delectable baked goods alongside a selection of coffee and matcha beverages. The cafe's industrial-chic decor with touches of greenery provides a welcoming ambiance for patrons to relax and enjoy their treats.
Like the environment, spacious and great services. Dessert portion is small but good enough to fill ur sweet tooth craving! Chicken wings are also well cooked! Ordered Gula Melaka Latte, Dirty Latte and flat well , three of us love the taste of our drink, not too sweet, well mix between matcha and coffee, great coffee taste blended with milk. Place is not too crowded when we visited during Saturday late afternoon. Will definitely visit again ☺️

Love the place! The place feel very open and table are not so crowded. Can be a peaceful place when not so crowded. People are nice. The food is also not bad, but I do think it can be improved. I personally do love their sandwiches. Will definitely come again to try the rest of their menu. + drink and dessert can be considered a bit high on the price tag since their portion is smaller than other cafe.

A gorgeous little hidden gem of a café. The dirty latte (matcha + coffee) is excellent. The food is quite generously portioned and good-ish. No standouts but you won't be disappointed. The space is lovely. It was fairly quiet when we went on a Friday afternoon lunch. It's a nice relaxing space to hang out in. The only con is that it's hard to find parking.
Kaylee K — Google review
Food is good! What I ordered was good anyways. Well seasoned. Would be better with thicker fries or wedges. There's free water there. Average meal was around rm25. But prepare to spend around rm35+ with drinks per person. Environment is nice, warm and cozy. Not so bright. Just nice. Spacious. Doesn't feel like ur too close to other tables. But the whole place feels a little echoy. Can't talk too loud or else the whole cafe would hear u. Unless it's busy then doesn't matter since every1 will be talking. Bathroom was clean. Service was okay. Staff are friendly. Speed was okay, around 10mins for meals to come out. Parking can be difficult to find out side the shop lot.

Café is located on the first floor of a shop-lot at C6-M & C7-M, Jalan Ampang Utama 1/1, One Ampang Avenue, 68000 Ampang, Selangor. It operates from 10.00am to 8.00pm daily except Mondays. Café is spacious and clean. Tables are set quite a distant apart thus ideal for a private conversation or business meeting. Browsing the menu - wide range of food but the prices appear on the high side. The café has two toilets - one with a hand-held bidet and the other without one. Ordered Butter Pantry Chicken Wings. Order came with 3 pieces of roasted chicken wings cut into 6 pieces (3 drummets and 3 pieces of wingette and tip) resting on a bed of salad, with a small bowl of Sriracha mayonnaise sauce). The chicken wings were crispy on the outside and moist on the inside. A bit salty though but nice. The Long Black coffee was freshly brewed. Notwithstanding, the Butter Pantry is a nice café to relax and unwind.

I went here during weekday (Tuesday). There were quite a few car park slots here, you no need to worry about where to park your car. The environment was nice and clean, the staff was friendly as well. I ordered Hawaii Teriyaki Burger and a cold cappuccino, total around RM40. Food was ok, cappuccino was ok as well. The portion of burger was just nice for 2 people, you can finish it alone if you’re a big eater too. Prefer to go during weekdays if you’re shy to take OOTD, since there are not many people during weekdays.

Cute little cafe located on the first floor of the shoplots. Came here for a late lunch on Sunday. Lots of yummy sounding menu options. Had the Hangover Burger and American Cheeseburgers which were pretty good but my experience there was ruined by the manager shouting at her staff in the back which could be heard by all the customers in the cafe. Even when I thought it was over, they took the discussion out to a table near where I was sat. I'd recommend the staff to take such heated discussions somewhere more private or waiting till after opening hours once the customers have cleared out.

Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) Review ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️☆ (4/5) KLIA is one of Southeast Asia’s most impressive aviation hubs—spacious, modern, and surprisingly serene for such a busy airport. The architecture is sleek and airy, with plenty of natural light and greenery that gives it a calming vibe even during peak hours. 🛬 Arrival & Immigration Immigration is generally smooth, though wait times can vary depending on flight schedules. The signage is clear, and staff are courteous and efficient. 🧳 Facilities & Cleanliness KLIA scores high on cleanliness and comfort. Washrooms are well-maintained, and seating areas are plentiful. Free Wi-Fi is available and fairly reliable. There are prayer rooms, baby care facilities, and even a jungle boardwalk in Terminal 1 for a unique touch of nature. 🍽️ Food & Shopping From local Malaysian delights to international chains, the food options are diverse and reasonably priced. Duty-free shopping is extensive, especially for cosmetics, electronics, and chocolates. 🚆 Connectivity The KLIA Ekspres train is a game-changer—fast, clean, and efficient, connecting you to downtown Kuala Lumpur in under 30 minutes. Taxis and ride-hailing services are also easy to access. 🛫 Overall Experience KLIA blends functionality with a touch of Malaysian hospitality. Whether you're transiting or starting your journey here, it’s a pleasant airport that makes travel feel less stressful and more enjoyable.

Kuala Lumpur Airport is a spacious and modern facility that is generally excellent. The signage is clear, navigation is easy, and the variety of shops and dining options is great. The rest of the airport experience was smooth, clean, and efficient. However, the service truly lets the rating down. The check-in staff were noticeably rude and unprofessional, and unfortunately, this poor attitude extended to several other service personnel I encountered. It significantly detracts from the overall experience. A specific maintenance issue was also frustrating: a massaging chair took my money but failed to activate, essentially stealing my money.

Malaysia’s KLIA Airport KLIA is one of the most impressive airports I’ve travelled through. The moment you enter, you feel the smooth management and calm environment. Staff are polite, professional, and always ready to guide you. Their behaviour makes the whole journey easy. The airport is spotless. Washrooms, seating areas, and walkways are all well-maintained. Safety and security checks are efficient, quick, and handled with respect. Food options are great, with plenty of clean cafés and restaurants. There are many shops, lounges, and duty-free stores if you want to relax or shop. The signage is clear, so moving between terminals is simple. The design of the airport is beautiful, with high ceilings and natural light. The view through the glass walls gives a peaceful travel vibe. Connectivity, transport, and immigration services are smooth and well-organized. Overall, KLIA offers a comfortable, safe, and world-class travel experience. Highly recommended.

Your typical airport with a bunch of duty free shopping. The good thing about this airport is that there is a huge area of restaurants at the check in lobby. Family can still hang out with you after you checked your stuff in. For international flights, you would go downstairs to the immigration area. Once you pass that, there are many more restaurants and shopping. There is another security check when you get to the gate. Some airlines don’t allow any drinks to be brought into the plane. So make sure to check. If you are headed to gate C, you will need to take the train to another building. The ride is not long at all. Overall, it is a nice airport. Could you more seats with power outlet.
Michael Y — Google review
This was my third trip to Malaysia in the last eight years, and I can clearly see how much the airport has improved and expanded over time. The staff were very polite, helping with directions and navigation whenever needed. Prices at the restaurants are also quite reasonable, which makes the overall airport experience even better.

1. Cleanliness - Good 2. Facilities - Lots of eateries along the wall. A bit on the pricey end but a good option of u are too hungry. 3. Long walks to/from departure gates. 4. Electronic card needs to be filled upon arrival. 5. Staffs were friendly and helpful.

Good airport when the aerotrain works between terminals. The aerotrain has been on and off this year. KLIA has good lounges and lots of restaurants. It's about 60km away from the city - Kuala Lumpur - too far away and adds travel and logistics issues for when you want to get there.
