A wonderful place to visit in Golden! We purchased the Adventure Pass in advance, and it was totally worth it—you get to enjoy almost everything in the park. We especially loved the zipline—it’s the longest we’ve ever tried, and the views are absolutely breathtaking! The only downside was that the coaster was closed for maintenance on the day of our visit, which was a bit disappointing. Hopefully, we’ll get the chance to try it next time!

We came here on our way back from Banff to Kelowna and I was not disappointed! This place is huge, plenty of activities for all ages! The views are just amazing. Tickets are a bit expensive but it’s worth coming at least once. They have a nice souvenir shop and snack trailer, and washrooms. Definitely worth the visit!

Very interesting experience. There are a brunch of activities other than the skybridge itself but you need to pay for them. There is a playground for kids before crossing the bridge. It has two small zip line that you can enjoy for free. There are some spots where they have an interactive camera. But, it didn't work for us. After taking a picture, we found nothing in the album as instructed. The coaster is a nice experience. Not too scary. The prices are expensive though. I tried the website for tickets but didn't work for me. We bought them on-site. There was a line.

Golden Skybridge is absolutely worth a stop the views of the Columbia Valley are breathtaking, especially from the suspension bridges. The trails are well maintained, and the entire area feels very safe and well organized. The zipline and canyon swing add an extra thrill if you're up for it. Staff were friendly and helpful, and there are good facilities including a café and souvenir shop. A perfect mix of adventure and natural beauty highly recommended for anyone visiting Golden!

Worth every penny you spend. They offer discounts for tickets purchased 2 hours before closing. The suspension bridge is fun (a bit shaky though). Lots of activities in addition to the general admission which needs to be paid for separately. Axe throwing, mountain roller coaster, zip lining (amazing experience) maybe not for the faint hearted, kids obstacle course etc. Good views and nice pictures to be taken of the different mountains. We drove from Banff to Golden and the drive was fun and safe. Did not get to see any wildlife in the way. Parking is free and lots of spots. Good food options in the park. We visited on a Sunday and it was not too crowded.

If you’re in Golden it’s a must! “Commercialized” view of the mountains and valley from an impressive suspension bridge - tallest one in Canada. Was a super cool experience, although I wouldn’t say you’re going for the view since you can see views anywhere for free in that gorgeous region. But if you’re looking for something a little different, this was beyond great. Also has activities for the young and old - all ages. From zip lining to mining to the sky swing, it’s a very nice experience and nice recreational place with good vibes!!

Had a great time crossing the 2 sky bridges. There was more up and down terrain than I expected and just doing the bridges is about 30-40 minute walk. There are other activities that we did not do like rock climbing, chair swing, zip lining and mountain coaster.

Excellent bridge lookout and walking trail in heart of Golden. There is no entrance fee. Ample parking space there is public washroom and a nice icream shop near it. There are lots of resting bench and nice trail along side the river on both sidefor walking, running, jogging or biking. Pets are allowed but on leash. The main entrance is well made lots of flowers and water fountain. The trail is not paved but stroller and wheelchair friendly. Over all its a highly recommended attraction if you are in Golden. Beautiful pedestrian bridge. So authentic! The river has a sublime turquoise color. There are trails along the river with beautiful trees and flowers.

A nice place to relax, with the river bubbling underneath. There are quite a few benches around, all donated. The day we were there, there was a steady stream of pedestrians but definitely not overcrowded.

Lovely way to spend your morning having coffee on a beautiful sunny cool morning in Golden British Columbia. But I like the most is that they offer RV parking in the CP parking lot a very short walk to the river

This brewery is amazing! My fiancé had flights and we tasted every beer on tap. They were all very good! We definitely had our favourites (the seasonal Jambrosia was AMAZING) but they all had really good flavor. Definitely recommend stopping by!

Lovely beers to try and the staff are really pleasant and helpful. Spent a whole afternoon out on their patio (I’d call it beer garden) trying a range of beers and enjoying the sun and the views. They even have a couple of non-alcoholic (like a raspberry sour) which were also pleasant. We ordered a pizza from Red Tomato Pies to be delivered to us on the patio and it was a great way to finish off the afternoon.

This Brewery is a hidden Gem, variety of beer flavours. Must try the limited release section. Seating is spacious both inside and outside. Staff are incredibly helpful in choosing flavours to your taste. No food except some chip packets.

A small and charming little brewery in Golden. I tried a beer flight, which came in four cute glasses with the beers of my choice. They also have a patio, making it a perfect spot to enjoy a drink on a nice day. The atmosphere is cozy, and the prices are quite decent.

We were staying closer to Lake Louise area and took a day to venture out to Golden. If you like beer, stop here. This is hands down the best brewery we visited during our trip. The flavors were unique and classic beers were extremely solid. Service was also top tier!

Dropped by Whitetooth while we were in Golden — awesome spot! I had the Dogtooth Rover Red Lager and now I totally get why it’s won so many medals. Super smooth and full of flavor. My wife had the Raspberry Gin & Juice and loved it — really fresh taste, nothing like something out of a can. Great drinks, and friendly staff. Wish I didn’t live so far away.

Golden is trying to preserve its past as a railway town with some interesting exhibits. It was worth the visit. The staff were friendly and answered lots of our questions. A hidden gem in the making

Very nice collection of items from days long gone. It is never a wrong thing to learn about the history from a region you're at. Friendly and helpful staff . Admission is free in exchange for a donation . Please donate so that the museum stays alive to give a our next generations a chance to learn something from real live and not from the internet .

Neat little small town museum that has lots to offer! We spent about an hour here reading the placards and learning about the history of Golden and the region. There a width breadth of topics covered, including Indigenous history and the resource extraction history of the region. The entrance is by donation and there is also a small gift shop inside with books, postcards, and a small selection local handicrafts. The staff here are also super friendly and eager to answer any questions. Overall it is a great place to stop while in Golden and is great for people of all ages.

Wonderful place! They have a huge variety of tequila cocktails and they are all very tasty. The rice is flavorful and fluffy, and the tacos are absolutely delicious. The pork taco was a bit too greasy for me, so if you prefer lighter meat, I recommend going with chicken or beef instead.

Stopped in at Reposados and I was really impressed. We ordered the homemade tortilla chips, tacos, and burritos. Everything was fresh and super tasty, but the pulled pork and brisket stood out — both were tender and seasoned perfectly. The service was great: friendly, quick, and fun without being over the top. The staff made sure we were looked after the whole time. It’s a small spot with limited seating, so it’s best to get there early if you don’t want to wait. Totally worth it! this is easily one of the best places to eat in Golden.

For a small town like Golden, this place is honestly pretty decent. The tacos were good… not mind-blowing, but definitely made with fresh, quality ingredients. It’s the kind of food that feels real, simple, and made with care. We also tried the churros. These ones were fine, but not amazing. The inside was a bit too doughy and the dip was too thick. I like them when they’re more airy and crisp. Would I order them again here? Probably not. Overall, you can tell the food’s made from the heart. The place itself has a nice, friendly vibe too. So yeah, I’d recommend it. In a town like Golden, where the restaurant scene isn’t huge, this spot feels genuine. Good, honest food, made by people who care.

The burritos were incredible and original compared to classic burritos. We tried the charred chicken and pulled pork and both of them were hitting the spot. Good selection of drinks as well like horchata or Freda Fresca. Possibility to take out but the nice patio makes it enjoyable to stay there to eat ! I recommend for a good meal at limited price

Had some absolutely delicious food here. As someone who has a gluten intolerance, it is very nice to go somewhere and find that a majority of the items are both safe and yummy! There are even some vegan alternatives that I did not end up trying but my cousin did and said they were very good as well. Would definitely recommend!

Travelling through Golden and looking for dinner. We saw how busy Reposadis was and guessed it looks good. It was! We ordered soft tacos by recommendation of the server who was very helpful navigating the menu. GF and Veg options. The tacos were fresh and delicious! The chef clearly puts thought behind each component of the taco. The rice was extremely tasty too. Highly recommended.

Great place in center Golden! Very cosy both inside and outside. Service was welcoming and friendly, and food was great. Delicious filling burritos, tacos and they have a perfectly tasty margarita! Thanks guys, we’ll be back.

Dinner here was amazing! We sat on the patio as we had a dog & it was such a lovely experience. The fondue as the appetizer was so creamy and rich & perfect for sharing. The cannelloni was packed with flavour and baked just right, and the daily pasta was fresh and delicious. Cozy vibe, great service, and seriously tasty food. Definitely worth stopping in if you’re in town!

We stumbled upon this gem in Golden and were so impressed! The Dragon Boat platter with scallops, prawns, mussels, and smoky paprika cream sauce was incredible — especially with the pretzel bread to soak it up. The pasta was also hot, fresh, and delicious. Had a lovely time at this establishment! Food was very delicious and atmosphere was great. Service was top notch, was greeted immediately and they were attentive throughout our stay. We ordered the early bird dinner promo and I highly recommend the bison shepherds pie and the chocolate truffle pie! It was just was we needed after a long hike. Definitely stop by and enjoy a meal here!

I visited this cozy and charming little restaurant in Golden, BC over the weekend. Since it was a Saturday evening, the place was quite busy. We ordered the Dragon Boat and the Chicken Curry. The presentation was nice, but the taste was fairly average.

Recommended by a local who was spot on for how excellent this was. Excellent service from the very friendly staff, seated quickly and had our drinks and an appetizer in no time. Dinner was very good. Very much worth the visit.

Great flavours with decent portions. The kids meals are actually huge! Ambiance of the restaurant is great.

Smaller resort so a lot less to do. If I was there for mountain biking or snowboarding I would probably give it a higher rating. I was there for an event and there was not much to do besides the event I went for. The gondola was closed, so that didn't help either. I could not find a pool and for the hot tub you had to book a time to go in, this was very strange, I could understand this maybe during COVID but on the regular. Hot tubs are for relaxing not a scheduled time in my opinion. The views are amazing, the food was decent. I was lucky enough to see Boo the Grizzly bear half way up the mountain. That was easily the best part of the resort. The mosquitoes are next level bad, if you go there in the summer just take a shower in bug spray before going outside, I went through almost a whole can over the weekend and walked out with about a dozen or so bites, way better then my friends who had forgot big spray for an afternoon and got dozens of bites each in a few hours. Again big spray, lots of it is a must. Overall worth a visit if you are in Golden or passing through for a night just don't expect it to have the amenities of a bigger resort. Last off the website does say this as well but there is no A/C, I didn't find this a problem but if A/C is a must for you, then keep looking for a different place. Don't think you will just keep the patio door open to cool off the room either, again the mosquitoes are next level and they will get past the screens.

The resort is great for biking and hiking . Winter sports should be excellent. However the chairlift only opens 0945 to 3.30 so if you are hiking high you would have a time restriction if you used the lift . This may mean you miss seeing the bear enclosure. The chairlift does need more time especially in summer when the Gondola is not operational. However the views are stunning

Some of the best and most memorable skiing I’ve ever done happened on this hill. Amazing hill, lodges, and people. Please put this hill on your bucket list!

Boo the Bear is adorable. The guide was knowledgeable and interesting. The kicking horse websites and organization is poor. The website says the chair lift doesn't start till 10. But also the tour starts at 10. But also the tour starts at 10:30. Very confusing. We arrived at 09:45 and bought a ticket and took a chair lift at 09:50. We arrived at the top at 10:13 and had already missed the start of the tour. Show up early and hope the lift is running, I guess! The tour actually ran from 10-past 11:30. It was fantastic but this place makes it hard to plan your day!

Great place to visit as we were staying just down the road in an Airbnb. Be aware that in summer (we visited in September), the shops and lift do not operate on Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday. The area however is very beautiful, even if you don't go in the ski season.

I love Kicking Horse ♥️ It has a great vibe. Terrain is for advance riders and skiers, a lot of fun runs. It's definitely the steepest mountain I've ever been. I spend 3 amazing days exploring and having the most fun!

We wanted to ride the gondola up to the mountain top restaurant for lunch. It was closed for maintenance. We had a coffee and ice cream while watching the ski lifts take bikers up and they rode the bikes back down the mountain.

Really nice place. All their wolves are rescued. Flora (one of their wolves) is basically a dog/wolf, super cute and well behaved, we were lucky enough to see her come back from her walk

5 minute stop at best for steep price of $60 for family of 4. Would not recommend unless you want to see 4 wolves behind a cage. They have total 6 wolves but all behind cage and can’t get near to get a good view. No tour no anything else. Go if you want to waste money. I personally love wolves and have been to other places but this was total waste. If the money is going towards the wolves I’ll feel like I donated something but I’m not sure how it’s used. Don’t waste your time and money. If you like wolves go somewhere else. This felt like a very sad zoo experience.

Lovely little afternoon with our toddler and a chance to get up close to some beautiful wolves. The staff seemed very caring about the animals and very informative about them. We learned a lot. It’s not a big set up but sometimes it’s nice to just sit and take in the animals and go without the bells and whistles. Our toddler had a great time.

I had an incredible experience at the Northern Lights Wolf Sanctuary in Golden. The passion and knowledge of the staff truly shine through every part of the visit. It’s clear how deeply they care about the wolves and their mission to educate the public about these animals. A special thank you for the opportunity to see and learn about Flora—absolutely stunning and full of personality. It was both humbling and inspiring to witness her presence up close. Thank you to the entire team for your dedication, hospitality, and for the important work you do. I left with a much greater appreciation for wolves and the wild spaces they depend on. Highly recommend this sanctuary to anyone visiting the area.

I loved visiting so much. A very educational and incredible experience. You can tell they love the wolves of BC and want to protect them. Lots of info about culling and unsafe practices by the government I had no idea about! I loved having the chance to interact with Flora as well. @katjaspov for more of my favourite places 🥰

Visited last year. Paid I think $15 each entry (me & 1 friend). Had seen online that they have tours/speeches every hour to talk about the wolves. When we visited in May we were just given a piece of paper to read. When I asked about the talk they do they said they only do that on days when it was busy. There was at least 10 people there at that time. For $150 an hour seems they could do a 10 minute talk. My friend didn’t want to read the double paged A4 paper so she thought it was very cruel they were just in cages. I read the paper which did explain they go on massive walks off leash each day. So I then went and asked some questions which was great and interesting hearing the answers from the staff. Just wish they actually did a 10 minute talk every hour on the hour no matter how many guests. As I did kind of feel like I’d just paid to see some wolves sleeping in small ish cages

Waste of money....! Paid 70 for a family and was expecting a little thru the trail but it ended before it started 🤣 Its great appericiation for them for running that place but it should be free to watch as of its selection, We watch more wildlife on the road rather than paying them and watching 4 sick sleeping wolves in cages..! Wildlife should be left in wild place and not to be put into cages and run as a penny business for human greed..! Lady there was giving huge lecture about human destruction over forests and when i see the wolves, that was miserable.

The tour was a highlight of our trip. Leo is a fantastic story teller and educator and is incredibly knowledgeable about the bison, the wilderness and their history. The tour is well worth it!

We stayed in the cabin for 3 nights. Everything is off grid but Leo, the host, had made it very cosy. The bed in the loft was comfortable and warm, the kitchen was basic but adequate. The evening fire next to the Creek was very relaxing. However the star of the show is Chester Jr and his harem of female Buffalo. How majestic they were. Leo's tour was extremely informative and the whole ranch was a peaceful haven to relax and forget the busy outside world. My only tip would be to bring slippers!!!

The Rocky Mountain Buffalo Ranch is such a special hidden gem in the Canadian Rockies. Leo shared his story while teaching us so much about the animals he loves. The tour was such a fun, authentic experience, and we would recommend it to anyone in the area!

Our family had such a lovely time at the Rocky Mountain Buffalo Ranch. It was easy to find, a short drive from our rented cabin in Golden. Leo's talk about his herd was really interesting. We learned a lot of cool new facts about buffalo and it was easy to get caught up in Leo's passion and commitment to caring for not only his herd, but all wildlife and the environment that sustains us all. We'd seen buffalo before, but it was pretty amazing to be able to stand so near them and observe their behaviors after learning a bit about them.

The tour was great! Leo's explanation on his life with wildlife and in the wilderness and his way to his own Buffalo ranch were really interesting. And obviously he shared a lot of interesting knowledge on Buffalo or "Bison Bison Bison". Seeing his buffalo was amazing. The friction fire demonstration was the most skilled bushcraft demonstration ive ever seen.

This tour is a must if wildlife is your thing, there is no other place to meet and see up close to these magnificent animals besides animals you could find in the Rockies. This tour will introduce you their relationship: the rancher owner,Leo and his bisons, plus, many stories will be told and life of these animals.

This is a brilliant place to stay. Leo is kind and thoughtful and he has put so much thought into the cabins. It’s in a beautiful location and immediatly feels restful. Don’t miss the buffalo tour - it’s fascinating .

During our camping trip with friends in Golden, BC, we discovered a lovely dining spot. The place offers plenty of seating both inside and outside, making it very inviting. We decided to try the bison ribs and a mixed burger with fried items and a selection of veggies. The bison ribs were cooked well, although we found that the special BBQ sauce was quite strong and overshadowed the flavors of the meat, and the ribs were a bit on the colder side. The mixed burger was decent and met our expectations. Overall, we were pleased with the service; the waitstaff were polite and attentive. Dining outside was a wonderful experience, especially with the beautiful mountain views in the distance.

The Wolf’s Den is a fun, casual spot that makes for a great dinner. You know a place is worth visiting when the locals flock to it, and that was definitely the case here. It came highly recommended by the front desk staff at the Prestige Hotel in Jordan, and we couldn’t have been happier with the experience. From the moment we walked in, the atmosphere was lively, filled with people clearly enjoying themselves. Our server was warm and attentive, offering excellent recommendations for local beers that paired perfectly with our meal. At our table, we tried the specials, including the bison and ribeye—both cooked beautifully and full of flavor. Overall, The Wolf’s Den delivered on every level: food, service, and atmosphere. Highly recommended!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant, and I must say it turned out to be one of the most memorable dining experiences I’ve had in Canada so far. I have tried many different steakhouses and grills across the country, but this visit truly stood out for several reasons. The highlight of the evening was without a doubt the bison rib steak. It was one of the best rib steaks I have ever had. The meat was cooked perfectly to my liking juicy, tender, and full of flavor yet at the same time it was surprisingly lean, with very little fat compared to other steaks I have tried before. That balance made it not only delicious but also unique and special in its own way. It’s not every day you get to enjoy bison meat prepared at such a high standard, and I would absolutely recommend it to anyone who wants to try something beyond the usual beef steak. The accompaniments were equally impressive. The vegetables were cooked just right not overdone, not undercooked and they had a freshness that made them a perfect complement to the richness of the steak. The mashed potatoes were excellent as well: creamy, flavorful, and served in a portion size that felt generous without being overwhelming. Everything on the plate worked together beautifully, and I felt that real care went into the preparation of the dish. This attention to detail is something that sets the restaurant apart from many others. Out of curiosity, I also tried the burger. While it was good and definitely delivered what you would expect from a solid burger, it did not quite reach the same level as the rib steak. The burger was satisfying and enjoyable, but the bison rib simply overshadowed it with its uniqueness and quality. I would still recommend the burger for anyone who is more in the mood for something casual, but if you want the dish that truly defines the restaurant, then the rib steak is the one to go for. As for starters and sides, the Caesar salad was quite decent as well. It came with a good balance of dressing, fresh lettuce, and toppings that made it a reliable and refreshing choice. It might not have been the most extraordinary Caesar salad I have ever had, but it was well prepared and did its job nicely as part of the overall meal. Beyond the food itself, the atmosphere was another highlight of my visit. The restaurant has a warm and welcoming vibe that makes you want to stay a little longer. I especially enjoyed the patio seating it was comfortable, lively, and added an extra charm to the experience. During my visit, I noticed that there were travelers from both Ontario and British Columbia enjoying their meals there, which says something about the reputation this place is building across provinces. The atmosphere felt almost like a meeting spot for people from different parts of Canada to come together over good food. Service was excellent from start to finish. The staff was attentive without being intrusive, the food arrived on time, and everything felt very well managed. It’s always refreshing when you see a team that truly takes pride in their work and values the dining experience of their guests. Overall, I would rate this restaurant very highly. From the exceptional bison rib steak to the welcoming service and pleasant atmosphere, it all came together for an outstanding meal. I left with the feeling that this is a place worth coming back to, and I can wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a special dining experience.

This place is AMAZING!! We had to get up really early the next morning to make the sunrise trip to Lake Moraine, but if we didn’t, we would’ve stayed here all night!! I really wish we would’ve found this place before our last night because we would’ve come here over and over again!! I got the Buffalo chicken poutine and OH MY GOSH it was AMAZING!! Honestly the best poutine I’ve ever had. I would’ve never thought to put those two things together but holy crap it worked. They had live music, the tables were made of really cool wood features, looked like tree trunks. They had string lights up everywhere, the drinks were flowing, the servers were so nice, the atmosphere was like a hometown bar that made you feel right at home! The food was amazing and we will definitely come back to Golden just for this restaurant!!

Overall, pretty cool spot and I imagine it’s quite lively in the evening. The food is pretty tasty, had the Italian Stallion and Elk burger. Both were very flavourful. The drinks were good as well and the service was as expected. The decor in the restaurant is super fun and there’s many things to look at. We enjoyed the novelty of it. Views outside are a nice touch too. I believe it actually opens at 4pm, not 5pm. Glad we went and are excited to try other spots in Golden, BC.

Hockey themed with rustic elements. Interesting decor and they make it work. 63 of us ate the burger buffet on the second floor. Very organized service and sufficient food served. Burgers were top notch with real bacon and sizeable patties. Fresh cut tomatoes, mushrooms and onions. Nice Caesar salad or house salad with selection of dressings. Chicken breasts were also good size to fill the buns. Fries and onion rings were crispy and hot. The owner was in full control of his business and kept the buffet well stocked throughout our visit. Highly recommend eating here if you are any group size from one to 70.

The Wolf's Den is a four-star spot for a reason. Arriving at 8 p.m., we found the place full and took a seat at the bar, which had a great, lively vibe. I started with the raspberry sour draft, which was everything its name implies—tart and delicious. My wife wasn't into it, but I absolutely loved it. ​For dinner, we split the Maple Bacon Dry Ribs and Bison Ribs. The ribs were fall-off-the-bone tender. I was a bit worried at first because the first bison rib had a super peppery flavor that was almost too much, but the amazing smell and taste were a winning combination, and the next two ribs were fantastic. The dry ribs were seasoned perfectly, still moist, and the dipping sauce was divine. The onion rings were tasty but were unfortunately a bit lukewarm. The meal was on the expensive side, but given the quality, it felt like a fair price for a great night out.

Passing through Golden today we opted to try Whitetooth Bistro. When we arrived it was empty, compared to other nearby restaurants that was perhaps a telling one. The service was slow throughout our sitting, the staff unfortunately seemed more engaged in their own discussions. We learned about one staff members who's Mom's biker boyfriend (referred to as a gorilla) had a "rash", how one staff had applied at a different job, how the other restaurants seemed so busy... all the while we had to wait for drinks and food. I even watched one staffer grab and shift about drinking glasses by inserting his unwashed hand into the glass and along the rims. The food was tasty, but my steak sandwich was not even warm. It was cold. very disheartening. My advice? Go to the busier places - Whitetooth is pricier and with poor service and cold food in my mind it's not worth it...

This place wasn’t too spectacular. Service was friendly, they were attentive and gave us what we needed when we needed it. However, their food was okay, definitely not worth the price paid. We ordered the burrata crostini for an appetizer, bistro burger, lobster Mac n cheese, side of fried tofu, and also an Italian open faced sandwich for our mains. The burger was definitely a safe bet. I don’t feel like the flavors were all that there for the crostini, they added a peach slice and it wasn’t fresh, tasted canned. Didn’t really mix well with the burrata. I would suggest maybe some cherry tomatoes if we want to add something to it . The lobster Mac was okay, again - not made with the freshest ingredients. And the open faced sandwich could have been a little better. It had way too much sun dried tomato spread. A light glaze with some olive oil would have probably been better. Presentation was there.

Bison Reuben: 5 Crunchy bread with well seasoned bison pastrami. Generous portion. Shrimp crab dip: 5 Creamy and rich flavor of seafood. You can taste the chunky shrimp and crab meat in the dip. Duck skewers: 4 Very interesting seasoning with pineapple salsa, duck meat is juicy and a little hard. Lobster Benny: 3 It's not acceptable to have a hard-boiled poached egg on a Benny. The lobster topping tastes good, but the English muffin tastes like rubber and hard to chew.

Had a very nice experience during our visit. The staff was super friendly and welcoming! Tried the chicken burger which we enjoyed. The chicken breast was a bit dry but the garlic aioli helped and it was pretty good. Don’t recall the name but the pineapple lager was delicious. Glad we found this spot.

Great place to stop in Golden with good GF / DF options. Excellent food and prices great atmosphere and clean washrooms. Got to say ots probably the first time ever heading into town and not eating someplace along the hiway.

Stopped in for my favourite breakfast of eggs Benny and a tropical fog. It seems to have got even better than when I last visited almost a year ago! Thanks to Jess and Danica for their excellent service :)

What a quaint place with delicious food! We stopped for lunch after the Golden Skybridge and loved the menu choices! The Bison Ruben and Crab Benedict did not disappoint. I’d stop for lunch again if I was in town!

Dinner here was amazing! We sat on the patio as we had a dog & it was such a lovely experience. The fondue as the appetizer was so creamy and rich & perfect for sharing. The cannelloni was packed with flavour and baked just right, and the daily pasta was fresh and delicious. Cozy vibe, great service, and seriously tasty food. Definitely worth stopping in if you’re in town!

We stumbled upon this gem in Golden and were so impressed! The Dragon Boat platter with scallops, prawns, mussels, and smoky paprika cream sauce was incredible — especially with the pretzel bread to soak it up. The pasta was also hot, fresh, and delicious. Had a lovely time at this establishment! Food was very delicious and atmosphere was great. Service was top notch, was greeted immediately and they were attentive throughout our stay. We ordered the early bird dinner promo and I highly recommend the bison shepherds pie and the chocolate truffle pie! It was just was we needed after a long hike. Definitely stop by and enjoy a meal here!

I visited this cozy and charming little restaurant in Golden, BC over the weekend. Since it was a Saturday evening, the place was quite busy. We ordered the Dragon Boat and the Chicken Curry. The presentation was nice, but the taste was fairly average.

Recommended by a local who was spot on for how excellent this was. Excellent service from the very friendly staff, seated quickly and had our drinks and an appetizer in no time. Dinner was very good. Very much worth the visit.

I like this restaurant. I was there when it wasn't busy. The food came quickly and was fantastic. They have a large selection but I always order the same food because the combination is very tasty. The service is always pleasant and interested in my satisfaction. They have a good location and I will come again.

This is a nice spot in Golden. However, my only complaint is that the prices of the burgers are somewhat high considering their size; they could be a bit more generous with the portions. Additionally, the atmosphere was quite quiet, and it would be nice to have some good music playing in the background.

We had THE BEST experience at the Island! This is our second time experiencing this restaurant and we came back with 3 children after 5 years. Kat was our server, she was knowledgeable about the menu both food and drinks and let us know that a dish took a little longer to be cooked to perfection as we had young children. Each meal was perfect, her wine recommendation was delicious and our 6 year old has championed the Borscht the very best soup he has ever had in his life. This gem is worth the stop, slow down to experience all the island has to offer !

We visited for lunch a few weeks ago and had the most brilliant server. Apologies I didn’t catch his name but do remember he said he was born in Hungary and missed European cheese! We all remarked on how personable and friendly he was, and always quick with recommendations - both local and on the menu! Food and drinks were delicious (lamb burger special was superb!) but it was the staff that made it so memorable.

The ambiance was very lovely and tge service was friendly, however, food was disappointed. My husband and I visited during the low season ( end of October). We ordered a hamburger and a salad because we weren't many options. The meat in both dishes tasted as if it had been frozen. Considering the dinner cost over 100 dollars, the quality did not unjustified. Overrall, nice restaurant overall for a glass of wine or a couple of beers.

Golden choice in Golden. Had no expectations when we stepped in hungry. Hostess and server Sly took great care of us. Gave us the best table in the Patio. Food Choice amazing. Salad was great. Jerk chicken Sandwich was awesome. Pizza was great. Benni tasty. Island burger juicy.

Visited the Golden area and found the Island Restaurant. Food was delicious but the service was exceptional. Shout out to Sylvester! He was a delight to talk to and gave us some great information about what to see and do near Golden. The launch pad was wonderful and just as he said by keeping our eyes open for bears proved prophetic. Saw a momma bear and her two cubs. Thanks for good food, great service and awesome info!

A great place for a beer (or more) and an evening meal. The service was fast and friendly. The food was excellent with lots of choice. There was also a very good selection of beers. Outdoor seating was next to the river, which was great on a warm summer night. Would recommend.

Great selection of beer, some nice cocktails all very welcome on a very hot day. We sat out overlooking river, which was stunning. Had one drink, then another with food, it was too nice to move. Service was very friendly and efficient. Good selection of stuff on the menu. The Jamaican prawns were amazing as was the chicken bacon and blue cheese pootine.

We had dinner here while spending a night in Golden on our way to Banff. I googled the top-rated restaurants in Golden and chose this one among the others. We loved sitting on the patio overlooking the beautiful river. The service was great as well. However, the food was unfortunately just average. We had calamari as a starter, but it was very oily and soggy. The fries were also soggy, and the plate was swimming in oil. It was disappointing that the food didn’t match the quality of the service and the atmosphere.

The gluten free experience here is not good. For 2$ extra (which is typical) I expected a gluten free bun, not 2 pieces of cheap untoasted GF bread. My friend who got the oyster mushroom burger said it tasted just like flour and nothing else despite the toppings. I was excited to see truffle fries, but sadly they are coated and not GF (luckily the Ceasar salad was good, but it doesn't unmuddy the whole experience)

Such a great location! When we walked in, a multi-tasking person behind the bar greeted us and gave us the go ahead to sit wherever. We went outside, where it was very warm even though they did have plenty of shaded areas. They had some kind of magical flower plant that kept every single bug and wasp occupied which was very nice. Cider on tap was nice and we really enjoyed the “trash can” fries! Our French server was so friendly and attentive to everyone on the patio. We overheard him teaching another table some French at their request! This is a great spot if you just want a drink and a snack, and all the sandwiches and mains sounded great as well!

We visited here right after our white water rafting trip. It didn't look extremely busy but it took a little bit for us to be served. Thankfully our server was so nice and did the best she could. The Buffalo cauliflower was super yummy and I enjoyed my steak. They had a pool table and it looked like they offered live music options. The bar was huge and the servers were all kind and awesome, it was just a bit slow at times.

Wonderful place! They have a huge variety of tequila cocktails and they are all very tasty. The rice is flavorful and fluffy, and the tacos are absolutely delicious. The pork taco was a bit too greasy for me, so if you prefer lighter meat, I recommend going with chicken or beef instead.

Stopped in at Reposados and I was really impressed. We ordered the homemade tortilla chips, tacos, and burritos. Everything was fresh and super tasty, but the pulled pork and brisket stood out — both were tender and seasoned perfectly. The service was great: friendly, quick, and fun without being over the top. The staff made sure we were looked after the whole time. It’s a small spot with limited seating, so it’s best to get there early if you don’t want to wait. Totally worth it! this is easily one of the best places to eat in Golden.

For a small town like Golden, this place is honestly pretty decent. The tacos were good… not mind-blowing, but definitely made with fresh, quality ingredients. It’s the kind of food that feels real, simple, and made with care. We also tried the churros. These ones were fine, but not amazing. The inside was a bit too doughy and the dip was too thick. I like them when they’re more airy and crisp. Would I order them again here? Probably not. Overall, you can tell the food’s made from the heart. The place itself has a nice, friendly vibe too. So yeah, I’d recommend it. In a town like Golden, where the restaurant scene isn’t huge, this spot feels genuine. Good, honest food, made by people who care.

The burritos were incredible and original compared to classic burritos. We tried the charred chicken and pulled pork and both of them were hitting the spot. Good selection of drinks as well like horchata or Freda Fresca. Possibility to take out but the nice patio makes it enjoyable to stay there to eat ! I recommend for a good meal at limited price

Had some absolutely delicious food here. As someone who has a gluten intolerance, it is very nice to go somewhere and find that a majority of the items are both safe and yummy! There are even some vegan alternatives that I did not end up trying but my cousin did and said they were very good as well. Would definitely recommend!

Travelling through Golden and looking for dinner. We saw how busy Reposadis was and guessed it looks good. It was! We ordered soft tacos by recommendation of the server who was very helpful navigating the menu. GF and Veg options. The tacos were fresh and delicious! The chef clearly puts thought behind each component of the taco. The rice was extremely tasty too. Highly recommended.

Great place in center Golden! Very cosy both inside and outside. Service was welcoming and friendly, and food was great. Delicious filling burritos, tacos and they have a perfectly tasty margarita! Thanks guys, we’ll be back.

I really loved the options. Delicious paninis with a side of ripple chips. Gluten aware cafe. Great coffee. Worth coming a bit off the main highway if your passing through and want a quick and delicious bite with great coffee options.

I traveled to Golden. It was close to where I stayed. Friendly staff and a place with great coffee. The Americano had coffee ice cubes. Isn't that interesting? Also, the London Fog was delicious. I went there again the next day with high expectations. The matcha latte was also very tasty. If you get a chance, you should definitely try their coffee and tea.

I had an amazing muffin. They have some of the nicest decaf espresso in town. Friendly staff and it's very convenient to stop here.

We were so happy we stopped here on our way through town instead of one of the chain restaurants on the highway. The chicken and brie sandwich was crazy good and we loved the soup that day - a sausage and orzo with plenty of veggies and flavourful broth. We will definitely be back the next time we're in Golden!

Definitely worth heading to Bluebird instead of the chain options. Great coffee and tea beverages (lavender London fog was spot on) and baked goods. Dog water for the fur family members and friendly staff! We’ll be back.

The place looks cute on a quiet industrial road in peaceful Golden BC. I think it may be one of the better cafes in the town. With that said I’ve visited many cafes so my experience wasn’t as good as it could have been with lower expectations. The lady serving us looked a bit hung over and too tired to be working. She was polite but nothing special. We ordered something we saw online (packed lunch combo) but the lady didn’t recognize what we were asking. The manager in the back had to confirm they had it. The lunch included a sandwich, snack and treat. Sadly none of it was great, just basic. Coffee was ok. Maybe requires a few visits before warming up.

We stopped by here for lunch on our way to the Skybridge. I got the club baguette, and it was spectacular — warm and fresh! My parents shared the Mediterranean chickpea salad, and they found it to be fresh and innovative (the sun dried tomato relish was a sweet surprise), though they wish the chicken was grilled instead of canned, considering it was $6 extra. The coffee was a standout favorite — best I’ve had in a while. Perfect blend of sweetness while staying true to the OG coffee taste.

Food was delicious here. We had the elk sausage rigatoni, beef dip and sweet chilli poutine. The pictures don’t give it justice but the portions were huge there, which we appreciated for the prices they charged. Our server wasn’t as attentive as the others, but it didn’t detract from the overall visit. Check them out on your visit to Golden!

We tried eating here 3 different times while in town. The first night we were told they didn’t have any tables and were on an hour wait… and they were too busy for us to take out. The second time they told us they were expecting a bus so we couldn’t make a reservation. We tried our chances and went super early the third try. Food was fine. Atmosphere was nice. Waitress was excellent. Hostess are beyond rude. Each time we called/tried we were greeted with an attitude. Glad we tried it but will most likely try other places next time.

It seemed there was too much moisture in the sirloin steak when it was cooked as there was a layer of grey in it. The calamari was good, though the portion size was kinda small. The spicy chicken burger was hardly spicy that crispy. The piece of chicken had some moisture in it. Staff wasn't that attentive as we asked for so ketchup and it was forgotten. Overall, kinda pricey and just ok.

Turning Point was a great Italian restaurant. We had a 10 minute wait but I wasn’t too long. The waitresses were very nice and straight forward. There were good varieties of food and drinks. I had the baked pasta and it was great. I would overall recommend this restaurant because it has a great atmosphere(Sit inside or outside with good decor and overall looks), good food, and amazing service.

I was visiting Golden for one night, and stumbled upon this place by accident... man I'm glad I did! Elk meatloaf was one of the best things I've eaten in a long while! So good I ordered a second one to go! Miso mushroom appy was also very tasty. Beer was ice cold and some perfect local options on tap. Service was excellent. Wish I lived closer so I could come here more often.

One of the best food in Golden, great staff and add on fab ambience. For sure in list to visit there for next trip.

This place is strictly pickup. No dining available due to lack of space. However their pizza is amazing! And they have really good combinations. This time around we tried the cheese steak pizza and a regular pepperoni. I like that they have personal and shareable pies. That way you get just what you need. Service was slow - wasn’t sure if it was because they were busy and had a lot of orders coming in. We waited about 30m for 2 small pizzas. Good thing that the location allows you to walk around while you wait - the only downside , there are a lot of mosquitoes so bring your bug repellent!

Visiting from Ontario. Loved everything we tried out. It’s great to be able to find a great pizza place in a small town. Take-out only, there is only a few chairs in the store. Highly recommend this place.

The pizza was one of the best we have had in our travels across Canada. The crust was excellent as were the toppings. The atmosphere only got 3 stars because it's a pick-up business,(with just a couple of stools to sit on and wait), and NOT a sit-down restaurant. The staff are very friendly and the pizza was ready on time (as we called ahead). We recommend this place very highly for those who'd like a great pizza.

We ordered delivery to a location that the online delivery page said was outside the area. The restaurant was happy to accommodate anyway. We got our 5 pizzas for our party’s in under an hour, and they were exactly as we had ordered them. Amazing service! We would order here again.

They used to be honest. Now not at all.we were traveling and ordered in penticton. Got wrong pizza and had to fight with them for the right one. Didn't eat it because we were worried they did something to it like spit in it. Now in golden and have had good luck. Nope. Over charged by 9 dollars. Had to fight to get our money back. Never again!!. We are over it. Don't order unless you want to get ripped off.

Pizza is GREAT and good luck picking with some many amazing options. We were disappointed at pick up as we were told 30 mins and it was an hour. When you ask they tell you 3-5 mins and then 2-3 minutes. We saw pizzas get stacked for pick up and sure enough after another 3-5 of standing there someone approached the front and surprise that was our pizza just sitting there vs anyone calling it out. Great food but definitely room for improvement on operations.

Great pizza! Had the pepperoni because that's all my toddler eats. They were happy to cut the pieces into smaller slices which helps my toddler (He had 3 half pieces and loved it). Way better than stopping along the highway!!!

Jita’s Café has friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. It’s also a good budget option in Golden, which is great for travelers looking to save. While the service was kind, the overall experience was average — decent for a quick stop, but nothing too memorable. Still, worth checking out if you're nearby and want something simple and affordable.

Stop here for a fresh and delicious meal in budget! You can see your food being cooked and plated. The curries are amazing so is the pumpkin chocolate chip cake. They have a lot of veg, vegan and gluten free options!

I live very far from golden, but I hope this place never closes if I ever come back. Food was great, generous portions. The prices were very reasonable in comparison to nearby cafes, and the atmosphere was very cozy and friendly. A needed visit for anyone in the area.

This place is a gem and a Golden staple. Good food and good service, at any time of the day. It’s great for coffee and they have fresh baked goods too. If you’re visiting Golden, add this to your list of must visit spots!

Very cute little café with everything handmade by the owner in front of you. Very fresh food for very reasonable price. We took some super veggie wraps and they were incredible as well as the mango lassi. I recommend this spot as a must stop when in golden for breakfast or lunch. Fast and efficient, this place is perfect !

We tried samosa soup and 3 eggs wrap, chai tea food was delicious. Atmosphere is cool, very very reasonable prices . All over it was a good breakfast
