Ranch
The New Mexico Farm & Ranch Heritage Museum offers an immersive experience into the agricultural history of the region, spanning over 3,000 years. Visitors can explore interactive exhibits showcasing farming and ranching practices, including demonstrations of dairy farming and cooking techniques. The museum also features a variety of animals used in local farming, allowing guests to visit them in their corrals.
This is not so little gem of a museum in Las Cruces. We've been to Las Cruces sooo many times and wished we had visited this place sooner. It's extremely child friendly and has immersive exhibits. My son loved the kids area, the farming equipment and the animals. The staff is sooo sweet and very informative.
Emely O — Google review
Such a fun place, 7 bucks a person is so cheap for like 7 museums, animals everywhere, art, history, biology, and culture lessons, tons of interactive areas for kids and videos for teens and adults to understand and just so much here, very great time, we planned on visiting for an hour but it took all day to see everywhere
Andy D — Google review
Nice museum but missed the children activities. Seeing the cows, longhorn, and other animals was great. Like Heart of The Desert wines have a store there. Got my pistachios 💜
Brenda R — Google review
This museum is a great and wonderful place to take your family and kids. It's always nicely maintained and tons of exhibits. The see:)
Jacob D — Google review
We started out on the farm and saw cows, sheep, and horses. There was a lot of old farm equipment with descriptions of what they were used for. The museum had history on Billy the Kid and replicas of old houses and a mercantile store.
Trinity W — Google review
This was a super fun place to visit. A large number of live farm animals make it an adventure to see. A lot of significant history on display to enjoy. Great indoor museum as well. Highly recommended.
Luke T — Google review
Really well done and interesting museum…worth a visit. The section on Billy the Kid and the Lincoln County War was fascinating. Added bonus…the awesome gift shop has wine tasting!
Cynthia F — Google review
Stopped by the museum on a road trip with the family and we absolutely loved it. It’s very well curated and you get way more than what you pay for. I recommend going early to see everything this museum has to offer.

Natural History Museums
The Museum of Nature & Science in Las Cruces is a charming museum that focuses on the natural history of the region. It features exhibits showcasing local flora and fauna, including a small zoo with around 40 live animals from the area, particularly desert species. The museum also hosts rotating exhibits from other science and nature centers across the United States.
A great way to spend an hour. If you have any questions greater than where's the restroom you're out of luck! There is a nice exhibit on dinosaur trackways, a minizoo of small reptiles and a kids playroom. Right now there is an excellent photography exhibition of Clyde Butcher. The cultural museum was also well done, but created more questions than answers.
Gary B — Google review
This is a small museum that has some very interesting history exhibits as well as live reptiles and insects. It has a number of exhibits that are specifically designed for children. It only takes about 30 minutes to slowly wander around, so not a huge time commitment to visit. They have a unique exhibit of a trackway from the Permian period. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Overall worth a look.
Bradford C — Google review
Although a small museum but with an impressive collection of artifacts of flora fauna animals wildlife that live in the chihuahuan desert. Superior explanation of prehistoric history going back to the time of the dinosaurs and how the dinosaurs remains or their fossils led to what is called the Permian basin. I enjoyed the organization the space, how the animals were all displayed, dinosaur bone collections gave me a better understanding of New Mexico's role in human history
Phil P — Google review
Very cool little museum with live animals display. That snapping turtle is a feisty one. There's a beautiful pair of petrified wood and a T-Rex skull amongst others. You can walk over to the art gallery next door, which has displays by some very talented individuals.
Jana M — Google review
It's super small, but what they have is engaging. Las Cruces has a museum system (4 different kinds), all free. We went to the railroad museum, the science and nature museum and quickly walked through the cultural museum. I have little kids so they didn't care so much about rugs and such, but I loved the displays. If you're in the city, the museums are worth a visit.
Kelly G — Google review
Such a fun place to attend with our without family/ kids. Has a fun walk through with different creatures, land forms, space information. They also have a fun area for kids and adults to play with science like games. There are activities throughout the week for different age groups, as well.
Tabitha W — Google review
This series of museums and associated events makes me so proud and happy to live in Las Cruces. What great memories for kids and families. The science museum just received some really cool updates. You can "travel through space" with ClydeTombaugh or send balls through a maze by turning cogs or using pneumatic tubes! They told me more surprises like this are in store... excited to see!
N V — Google review
There's not too many things to do in Las cruces, but there are a few museums, and this one is one of the nicest, in my opinion. My daughter lives coming to this place. It's free, and there are tons of activities to do and learn from. The really cool part is they have live animals. You get to learn about New Mexican wildlife up close. My daughter loves the axolotl, and I love the snapping turtle. A must see if you're passing through, visiting cruces, or even if you live here and have never been.

Farmers & Crafts Market of Las Cruces

Farmers' market

Flea & Street Markets
The Farmers & Crafts Market of Las Cruces has been a staple in downtown Las Cruces for over 50 years, offering a vibrant display of the Mesilla Valley's culture. This iconic market takes place twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays, spanning seven blocks along Main Street.
This was a large farmers market. Several blocks of vendors and food. A lot of handmade jewelry, pottery, paintings, photographs, just to name a few. Live music playing. Every vendor we spoke to was very nice. On this day, there was one vendor selling produce. It closes at 1pm, so get there early to take it all in.
Lemmie K — Google review
I really loved this farmers market. SO many unique items, I wanted to buy it all! I’m definitely coming back soon. The vibe was also great, there were a few musicians and nice people everywhere!
Kimberly E — Google review
This is such a cool experience and very dog friendly. I would advise to show up early specially if you want to buy fresh produce, that is the first thing that goes right away. I loved walking around and checking out the different vendors, but it was really nice to see tons of musicians throughout the street doing their thing. This is definitely an all ages activity kind of farmers market.
Carolina ( — Google review
This is one of the best farmers markets I've gone too... Dog friendly and lots of fun crafts, art, local grown or made food. The vendors are great it's fun to support the community and get unique items and flavors.
Scott R — Google review
I love the farmers market they have so many neat things to check out and everyone is so friendly. I love the live music. Not only are there outdoor shops but there are also indoor shops where you can go inside into the air conditioning to cool off if you need to
Amy H — Google review
This is one of the best farmers markets you will ever visit in the USA. It has something for everybody. Everything about it is perfect. I just wish in the winter It started a little later and went on till about 3pm, but in summer, you don’t want to be there much past 1pm as it starts to get very hot. Luckily, it opens early around 8am Saturdays are great as they close off the whole downtown Main Street so it’s very pedestrian friendly. While you’re in downtown Las Cruces, there’s some great cafés and a really nice art museum and cultural center so plan to be there a while if you’re visiting from out of town. When it gets hot visit some of the indoor places and Coas bookstore. There are musicians who rotate positions throughout the market help them out give them some cash, they are working hard. Also great food trucks. I love everything about this market. Dogs are allowed but their paws will get hot and they will need water and shade. So please take care of your K9 friends. There are lots of unique and handmade items which as far as I know is a requirement to be a participant in this market no mass produced stuff is allowed, though some of it may sneak in. But 99% of what you see here is handmade by the crafters and home grown food from small local farms.
Sara — Google review
The best Farmers Market around. Great variety of items for sale. Truly the best kettle corn every is Uncle Banjo’s Kettle Corn!!! There are hundreds of amazing vendors at this market with a variety of offerings from vegetables, breads and baked goods, earrings, art and more. Plan on spending the whole day here with the family as the also have various street artists and entertainment. Make sure to visit all the shops on main streets too.
Jeremiah R — Google review
We're in town from Oshkosh, WI visiting family who suggested we check out the Farmers Market as we're art and craft fans as well as the food one finds at a Farmers Market. Started at Organ Mountain Outfitters, that is a great store whose profits are partially shared feeding children and more. I love shopping local but it's always more enjoyable when the business shares it wealth locally as well. There was so much to see and do. I very much enjoyed the local musicians sharing their talents. There was a guitarist playing a sort of bluesy tune and a young man singing a beautiful Mexican melody in full dress. I'm sure he was singing about a lost love or 🤷‍♀️. It was lovely. Ate a breakfast burrito from Cocina Mexicana Express at the recommendation of a family member. Truly the BEST food truck food ever. If you haven't waited in his line for anything on his menu you're missing out. I will warn you, the portions are not small. I'm thinking about going again next weekend just to have this one more time before leaving town. Found a lot of great artisans sharing jewelry, clothing, paintings, the best and most affordable wax melts from Smelly Sam's (I think that's their name). They had scents I've never smelled before and I've been using a wax melting pot for years. It's the perfect size Market, not too big you don't enjoy and just enough to have something for everyone.

The Las Cruces Railroad Museum is situated on the historic Santa Fe Railroad Depot, originally built in 1910. It showcases a collection of railway artifacts from the past, including handcars, vintage tickets vending machines and lamps, as well as photographs. The museum also features a separate hall with miniature train models depicting cities. The museum highlights the significant impact of the railroad on South New Mexico's history and offers insight into the evolution of railroads in Las Cruces and surrounding areas through its permanent exhibitions.
I really like this museum located in what was the second railroad station in Las Cruces. It is next to a present day switching yard. They have a nice collection of memorabilia including telegraph equipment. The docent was knowledgeable and excited to share his knowledge.
Hypur P — Google review
This was my first time at the models, which was very nice and detailed. Unfortunately, they only have a few sets, and the place was kind of small. Lots of great history of Las Cruces.
Bernardo R — Google review
Thank you for your warm welcome—your kindness will not be forgotten. We visited with our family, and one of the staff members provided us with a printed guide to train groups in California. He also gave us a tour of the museum.
Angie S — Google review
I love history and I love museums. This place has a little both. They opened up for the community on December 8th evening. Looking forward to going back during the day to take more pictures and see more stuff 😀 Staff all smiles from the moment you walk in
Marilyn — Google review
My father, a huge train buff, and I (a smaller one) got into Las Cruces later in the day, but still wanted to check out the museum, even if we were just able to see the caboose. We got there at 4:15, and we didn't want to stop the workers from closing up, so we headed towards the caboose. The curator, Kyle, came out and was so hospitable and welcomed us in, taking time out of his life to really show us around and give us an in depth look. I could tell my father was so amazingly pleased, and we so appreciated all of Kyle's extensive knowledge. If you love learning or are interested in trains, this is a great experience!
Becky D — Google review
I loved this place. It is full of actual nostalgic artifacts. The tour guide had a wealth of information. If I had kids, I’d definitely take them. They even have a little model town display with a train set & it’s free.
Maria W — Google review
Cute little museum worth a trip if you love trains/model trains or have children who do. Very engaging and hands on for little people! Though tiny, we spent about 2 hours there because my boys love trains and model systems. It is free and it's part of the Las Cruces museum system.
Kelly G — Google review
Small but nice museum. You probably need only an hour max (most likely less) but the caraboo is really nice to see. Unfortunately, the model trains are not running. Entree is free

Mesilla Valley Bosque State Park, located about 7 miles west of the city, is a popular spot for hiking and birding along the Rio Grande. It's known as one of the best birding locations in the area, with over 175 bird species to be spotted during the season when there is water in the river bed and creeks.
Wonderful place to visit! The grounds were beautiful and clean. In the visitors' area, there is a courtyard with bathrooms and 2 gardens. In one of the buildings is a small information center. The employees were so nice and gave great info. The trails were clean and very nice.
Lisa M — Google review
My first NM state park to visit. Spent a couple hours there for hiking and birding. Very nice facilities, and super friendly and helpful staff. Thanks Alex, this Arkansas enjoyed meeting you!
Bobby A — Google review
A lovely state park with plenty of hiking. Great for birdwatching and birdlife. We spent several hours exploring and it was well worth the visit.
Gary G — Google review
I visited this state park last year while on vacation in New Mexico. The park was nice - I enjoyed walking around in the dessert. It was winter time when I went, so there weren't any plants blooming or anything. But, it was still relaxing and nice to see the dessert landscape. The park ranger on duty that day was also great. He gave lots of informative information about the park when my friend and I asked questions.
Carina J — Google review
We didn’t have much time at the park since we arrived late. Visitors center was typical. Trail that we walked about a mile of was well maintained and relatively flat. Beautiful from what we saw. Talked to the park ranger for a few minutes and he was very friendly and informative. Will come back to finish exploring and give ourselves more time here. They close at 4pm.
Leah G — Google review
Nice and quiet park right next to the Rio Grande River. The park has nice trails and picnic tables. Pets have to be leashed. Fishing is also allowed. You pay at $5 fee at the entrance. Make sure you display the sticker on your vehicle.Overall great experience. Will visit again.
Benjamin M — Google review
The staff is fantastic, knowledgeable! (I bought a year pass to any NM State Park. Otherwise it is $5 per visit. $40 for the year! A good buy.) This is a BEAUTIFUL place. Places to sit, picnic, look at the birds at the feeders, the animals sipping the water at the watering saucers, all the gorgeous plants. Plenty of shade. Hiking, too. This is a jewel. Good clean bathrooms.
H R — Google review
Was parked about 2 minutes when an idiot ranger hassled us. Said we couldn't camp there and it was just for walking in. Yes we are traveling in a camper. I wouldn't give them or this state a dollar entrance fee. Dried up, stickers everywhere. Can barely walk a dog in this state!

Its primary objective is to ignite curiosity amongst visitors by showcasing thought-provoking exhibitions that encourage fresh perspectives. In addition to housing a permanent local history exhibit, this small museum also offers rotating cultural exhibits, educational programs, classes, and various special events.
A variety of unique and great art displays. A mix of local history and rotating showcases. Came to see the crow display and support the PNW artist. Beautiful building, easy access location downtown near food, drinks, shopping and farmers market. Admission was free.

The Branigan Cultural Center hosts a permanent local history exhibit and changing cultural exhibits, as well as educational programs, classes, and other special events. This is a small free museum in the downtown area, just right beside the Museum of Nature and Science.
Eric S — Google review
Nice historic building with a good museum. Like the changing exhibits. Have been there several times.
Escobaria G — Google review
This is the display in front, depicting some of the history of southern New Mexico. Its nicely done!
P ( — Google review
For me, this is a must place to visit as the exhibitions change. The exhibitions are varied and have always been worth my time. The person at the desk can enhance the visit sometimes -- most though are not "greeters." But the exhibits are self explanatory -- a just plain educational for me.
Joe S — Google review
Huge props to the Cultural Center and all other City of Las Cruces museums. I stupidly forgot my mask today and they are providing them free for people. All of you rock!

This family-friendly attraction in Las Cruces, New Mexico provides a range of activities for all ages, including the Reading Art Book Club and Japanese folk dancing. Great place to take classes! The workers and teachers there are amazing! They display local art and let you know of any upcoming events! Can’t wait for the next class I take there!
Kelsey L — Google review
Nice museum. Went in today, and they had a wonderful show featuring NMSU dancers. Great pieces of art are being displayed. Origami art pieces. Entrance was free.
Bernardo R — Google review
There were some lovely people at the Moonlight event, which is absolutely a wonderful idea and a super awesome free community event. TAMMY, however, was rude and unwelcoming from the moment we crossed the threshold. Literally jumped out at us and demanded our IDs. Would be nice to welcome your guests first. Then, we announced we’d just moved here and asked for information about the museums - she cut off one of the volunteers and was rude again. As we were leaving, with lemonade purchased at one of the food trucks, we were already on the sidewalk and she starts sneering and said we couldn’t leave. We asked why and she told us we couldn’t leave with drinks. She was rude to yet another volunteer for not catching us before walking out. Their website says no outside food or drinks are allowed in. Not that we couldn’t leave with lemonade we bought inside in case we “may have spiked it”. If that was the case, we should have been approached with a completely different attitude and not accosted on the way out. If this is how you act at free events, there’s absolutely no way I’d pay for an event or go back here. Her attitude, tone, body language was unacceptable and unwelcoming.
Sammie J — Google review
It has a cool natural history exhibit, very good for children. Then a room of art,car painting and a jaguar on exhibit. Not big, free.
Tim S — Google review
It was a cool place to spend the morning. Exhibit and people watching sitting on a bench. Not a big display but well done.
Judith ( — Google review
Small but not contemporary. So usually has a range of relatively recent paintings in most mediums, watercolor, pastel, oil, acrylic, etc. We visit once a year and always find some that we like. Free too.

New Mexico State University

University
New Mexico State University, the oldest public institution of higher education in New Mexico, boasts a beautiful campus with red-roofed halls and the Corbett Center Student Union. Visitors can explore the University Museum of Anthropology and the Zuhl Museum collection or attend events at the Pan Am Center. The university is also home to the Chile Pepper Institute, reflecting its focus on agriculture in southern New Mexico.
The professors here are amazing and the drive to tech shows. I would not choose to go anywhere else.
Tyler S — Google review
Pros: Beautiful campus with lots of trees and grass. Awesome weather with almost no winter. Cheaper than UNM (a lot cheaper) and the people are small town friendly. Cost of living is low, which makes school and living more affordable. Cons: A lot of abandon apartments, frat houses and 1940’s outdated single housing on campus that the university has never upgraded or leveled. Financial management and administration of the university has been very poor over the last 15 years.
A M — Google review
It is crazy to me that no one answering the phone seems know, or care to know the answers to basic questions… I called the Bursar’s office about tuition for one of their programs - they said “it should be xx but I’m not sure”. So I called the “global online” department, similar answers. Similar lack of being concerned with giving accurate information. Then I couldn’t get a return call from anyone. I think I dodged a bullet on going here.
S — Google review
Helping my daughter move out after Freshmen year. She had an excellent experience and they took good care of her. I am a UNM grad and Lobo fan for 48 years so I had high expectations for NMSU to step up and they did.
Gerard A — Google review
currently entering my last year here. financial aid needs to be available to students by the first day of classes. they have never figured out how to do this because they don't care.
Blake — Google review
The admissions and financial aid processes were exceptionally problematic. My experience was the worst among all institutions I have interacted with. Financial aid was denied without adequate justification, whereas applications to other institutions were approved without incident. Furthermore, attempts to contact admissions and financial aid were unsuccessful, as responses were consistently delayed. Therefore, I cannot recommend this university.
Oi V — Google review
I would have put 5 stars but the porta-potties were disgusting for the band. Other than hand, the tournament was a great experience and NMSU put on a great show to get more kids to join the band.

Recycled Roadrunner Sculpture

Mentioned on
5 lists
Sculpture
The Recycled Roadrunner Sculpture is a unique landmark located near Las Cruces, New Mexico. Standing at 20 feet tall and 40 feet long, this impressive sculpture is made entirely from discarded materials such as old sneakers, electronics, movie reels, headlights, crutches, and computer keyboards. Created in 1993 by local artist Olin Calk, the sculpture aims to raise awareness about unnecessary waste.
I LOVE this concept, art from trash. We first discovered this roadrunner while planning a "return to grad school post COVID quarantine" trip. This time it was a "return home after graduating with a PhD in physics" road trip that brought us down I-10 from Tucson. We had to make a stop. The roadrunner is like a three dimensional I-SPY experience. It's fun for any age. I wish more rest areas across the country did things like this. It's a free display that's a must see. Stop for a restroom break; stay a while for an art appreciation experience.
Martha S — Google review
This is a large sculpture of a roadrunner that is really well done. It's literally made of junk and recycled parts from vehicles, shoes, computers, etc. If you like art, you'll enjoy walking up to it to see what pieces were used to make it. It's located just off of a rest stop and is a short walk from picnic tables and restrooms.
Francisco L — Google review
It's a full rest area with super clean bathrooms and has a security person onsite every time I've been. This is a sunrise from this beautiful vantage point on the edge of town. The view of the Organ Mountain Range is outstanding! The Recycled Roadrunner is really neat.
Stephanie G — Google review
Very cool place. The roadrunner statue is made out of recycled garbage. Stop if you can. It's pretty neat. Plus, you have a beautiful view of Las Cruces. There's also a small area for your dog to go potty.
Traveling W — Google review
My husband and I loved this Sculpture! So creative! We spent time finding as many items we could find! Definitely stop by & stretch your legs and check it out!
Irene E — Google review
Great place to stop, not far out of town!
Max A — Google review
This is a very nice rest stop with the World's Largest Roadrunner. The Roadrunner is made out of recycled materials like crutches, cd changers, var lights for eyes and lots and lots of tennis shoes. He's so interesting to look at. A great piece of art. Worth a stop to see!

Prehistoric Trackways National Monument

Mentioned on

Monument
National reserve
Nestled in the Robledo Mountains, Prehistoric Trackways National Monument is a treasure trove of fossilized footprints dating back 280 million years. The area boasts reptile, amphibian, and insect tracks as well as petrified wood. Visitors can explore hiking and off-road vehicle trails while taking in breathtaking views of Picacho Peak. The monument also features a museum showcasing these ancient footprints. It's an ideal destination for history enthusiasts and outdoor adventurers alike.
We stopped in here with the family recently on a trip from California. Our family of four enjoyed the view and my son really enjoyed the fossils
Jeremy J — Google review
The Prehistoric Pathways National Monument offers a fascinating glimpse into ancient history, but a few improvements could enhance the visitor experience. The Ridgeline Trail, while a bit steep in places, is certainly doable for those who are sure-footed and enjoy a good climb. However, the online map could greatly benefit from more precise directions to the actual tracks. I spoke with several locals who have visited multiple times and, surprisingly, had never managed to locate the tracks themselves. Clearer guidance would undoubtedly lead to a more fulfilling visit for everyone
Terry R — Google review
There is a major "Safety Project" which more closely resembles coal mine mountaintop removal than anything else. That has closed off the main area containing fossils. The Ridgeline Trail is still open. I walked it for a mile and a half and saw some very cool cacti. The way to see any fossils is to take the Saturday guided walk.
Bruce D — Google review
It is definitely a great place to hike however there really are no dinosaur footprints for you to find easily. Definitely a lot of great geology and beautiful scenery. Well worth the trip but not for the dinosaur footprints
Amy H — Google review
I am a big believer in these types of public facilities. The hiking is nice here, though the hype of the "Prehistoric Trackways" name and the signs are not matched by what you can see in the field. I was able to found the sign at the site of the tracks and it shows a map of the prints ... but they are nowhere to be found. Turns out, most of them were removed and are now in a Las Cruces museum. So, while that was likely the best option for the tracks, it is misleading to the public to say the least. I did manage to find a print or two, and the hike is a good one for some other general Paelozoic fossils. Wear a hat, there is no shade!
Robear — Google review
The trail to the tracks is long; I would guesstimate a minimum of 5 miles round trip. The accent into the mountains is very doable, and then the trail kinda levels off but continues to go up at a very minimal climb. Take your time and take plenty of water with you; the sun gets hot (there is no shade on this trail.). I never made it to the tracks :(
Laura R — Google review
Visit when the weather is cool and you have time to spend a day in the field. If you only want to see the tracks I suggest the natural history and science museum downtown
Christoph R — Google review
Went here to check it off my list of National places. There are no tracks here...those are at a museum. There are trails but more for mountain biking. I read the info signs and took photo of sign but that is it

This was my first visit. We went at 11am when they opened on a Saturday. We were visiting from El Paso. Customer Service was immaculate. Our waitress Christian greeted us with a smile and made greet recommendations from Wine to Entrees! Lunch was delicious! Will dine again when I'm in the area.

An excellent experience from start to finish. The food was fresh and flavorful, and the wine complemented each dish beautifully. I especially loved the complimentary garlic bread—it was such a nice touch! Service was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere made the evening feel special.

Great winery in Las Cruces. The grape fields were modestly sized and had great smell. The parking lot is big, and if there is not enough space, there is a seperate parking lot nearby that is also avaliable. There was a large selection of wine offerings. We chose to be in the covered patio, which even though the AC was down, the fans still made it cool. It was quiet, spacious, and had a good view of the outside. The schnitzel was great, there were 2 generous schnitzel patties with great crunch and texture. The gravy lacked flavor, but the mushrooms were seasoned well. The broccolini on the side was tender and fresh, and the mashed potatoes were buttery. The bread was soft with a nice crisp, the compound butter was a nice touch as well. We also ordered the flat iron steak, which was incredible. It was cooked a bit over medium rare, but still fine. The crust was amazing, it had great flavor, it was tender, running with juices, and it was a very generous portion. The meatloaf was good as well, it was juicy, had a unique but amazing texture, and many great flavors blending together. Overall, I highly recommend this place as a great winery and small restaurant in Las Cruces.

We visited for my birthday and it was an amazing experience from start to finish! Great food, delicious wine, and our server, Ezra, was superb - friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We sat outside as the weather was beautiful, and we enjoyed views of the Organ Mountains, playful birds, and the beautiful NM sky. Ezra, the kitchen staff, and the other restaurant staff created an experience we will not soon forget! Thank you for making my birthday so special.

Meh. Overpriced and under seasoned We ordered the salmon, which was overcooked, it also had rice and it was super dry as well. Nothing had flavor on that plate out of the kitchen, definitely not worth 22 Dlls. The meat loaf was also anything we would go back to get again. Wine was good, but do not recommend the food. Also the presentation leaves much to be desired. We also got a creme brulee to go… well, it was as if they just took it out of the plate and tossed it into the container, and no berries 🤷🏻‍♀️ (it’s part of the plate), when we asked the waitress no effort on making the experience better.

My entire experience was wonderful! The food was amazing and a great view of the mountains from the patio. Joey was my server and he took excellent care of me; check on me and gave me recommendations. Highly recommend!

We like this place so much… we decided to stop over in Las Cruces NM at this LesCombes as well. Consistent food with great service. Very reasonably priced for such a nice experience. We also decided to buy 2 extra bottles 631 Canyon 5. Highly recommend you stop at any of their locations. We’ve to 4 total now

Every time we passby Las Cruces, we have to eat there. Food is always good and different, local wine is Ok. Our waiter was really good tonight (Ben)… seeing other waiters with Bermuda shorts and/or baseball cap is kind of shocking in this type of restaurant.

OMPC-The Shed is a lively Southwest-style cafe known for its all-day breakfast and lunch offerings. The menu features a variety of options, including sandwiches, wood-fired pizzas, green-chili cheddar toast, chicken fried steak with eggs and red chili gravy, and cumin-spiced ground beef filling for tacos. One of the highlights is the authentic Mexican breakfast dish huevos rancheros made with cooked-to-order eggs over fresh corn tortillas topped with cheese.
Got recommended this place from the dealership next door and what a great call that was. I loved this place. I ordered the brisket enchiladas with the hatch sauce and the blue tortillas. The sauce was excellent, I asked for the spicy one, but it was just a warm heat, nothing too wild and the tortillas were a little tougher than expected, but that wasn't an issue. I really enjoyed this meal and would come back again.

This Mexican breakfast spot was fantastic! The food was fresh and flavorful, with authentic dishes that really hit the spot. The service was friendly and fast, making the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. Definitely a great place to start your day!

Decided to come here after seeing the reviews on the brisket breakfast enchiladas and they did not disappoint! Also tried the Eggs Benedict with green chile sauce and those were quite tasty. The potatoes and beans need some more salt though.

Finally made into The Shed, been on my list for awhile. Ordered the Green Chile Alfredo, one of my favorite fusion dishes. The chicken was really good as was the fettuccine and the Alfredo sauce. Great dish. Restaurant itself is dated and the tablecloth was sticky. Other complaint is I found a piece of metal scrub brush in my food, I reported and showed the server. Heard her and the kitchen staff discussing, they blamed the dishwasher, but they plated the food so still on them. Manager never came to discuss and no concession or apology was offered.

Friendly service. Good honest scratch made food. Can be super busy on weekends! Highly recommend the Huevos Ranchero

We stopped here on our way out of Las Cruces heading home to Denver. Small, quaint, and so welcoming. The food was amazing. The breakfast enchiladas were so good. I had mine Christmas. The red chile had a nice spice and the green was so flavorful. The cinnamon pecan coffee was very good. Also, our server, Rachel was friendly, informative, and oh so nice. We definitely recommend this place. 5 stars.

Perfect food! New Mexican style breakfasts, and traditional. They have a good variety of eggs benedicts, including red chile and green chile hollandaises. The green chile salmon one!!! Pecan cinnamon coffee!Perfect service! It gets super crowded, but its worth the wait!!

This place is cool. They were packed and we only waited about 10 min for a table for six, so that was impressive. Service and food were absolutely killing it. It was a great brunch! Only thing missing were the mimosas, which they plan to bring back when they renew their liquor license.

Nestled in the Mesquite District along the historic Camino Real Route, La Nueva Casita Café is a long-standing Mexican eatery known for its cozy and colorful ambiance. The restaurant's location holds historical significance, as it was once part of a tract that drew a diverse mix of settlers. The menu features mouth-watering dishes such as chile rellenos and chimichanga bandera, all made with care using traditional recipes.
Went for the first time today and was pretty blown away by the food and the service. We went after the lunch rush so we didn’t really have to wait, and our food came out in less than 10 minutes. The free initial chips and salsa were great, and the guacamole was so tasty. I got the huevos compuestas plate with both the red and green chile, and this is the only place that I could say that the red is better than the green. I usually prefer green, but the red had just the perfect amount of heat and flavor. The eggs were also cooked to a perfect over medium. My partner got the chorizo con huevo with flour tortilla. The tortillas came out fresh and hot, it tied the meal up perfectly. We also got the French toast… and it was easily the best French toast either of us have ever had. Our waitress was amazing and so attentive. She made our experience great. We will be back in the future, especially for the red chile and the French toast. Looking forward to what else they have to offer.

We stopped in on a whim around 1 pm on a Saturday. There’s a ton of parking behind the cafe. You seat yourself and then a waiter will come by. Food was great and everything tasted fresh, all at a fair price. Highly recommend the rolled enchiladas and chili rellenos. The taco salad and bean/cheese burrito were ok. Staff were polite and everything came out quickly. Our waitress kept our chips and drinks full! Restaurant was very clean. There is a surcharge for credit, so grab cash before you visit.

Here are two versions — you can pick the one that fits best: La Nueva Casita Café is my go-to spot for Mexican food in Las Cruces! The food is always fresh, flavorful, and comforting. The green chile is amazing, and the staff treat you like family. La Nueva Casita Café captures the true flavor of New Mexico with its authentic, homemade Mexican dishes. The food is perfectly seasoned, the portions are generous, and the warm hospitality makes the experience even better. A must-visit for anyone craving genuine local cuisine in Las Cruces! ---

5 Stars – A Local Gem! I’ve been to La Nueva Casita a few times now, and it never disappoints—but today’s visit was exceptional. The food was absolutely amazing! The red chile had just the right amount of heat and flavor, and the flautas were perfectly crispy and delicious. You can really taste the love and tradition in every bite. If you’re in Las Cruces and craving authentic New Mexican food, I highly recommend this place. Definitely one of my favorites in town!

The winery's 2010 cabernet sauvignon and sangiovese received gold medals at the 2014 international wine competition Tasters Guild.
The outside of the building reminded me of some older buildings like the Alamo, which I like. The inside was also very nice. The Gelato was a sensation. That leads me to the best part, the Americana pizza was very good with an exquisite taste for a good price too. The place fed 3 people for a $60 and none of us could even finish the meal. (By that I mean it was a lot of high quality food for a budget friendly price. The other atmosphere and service was very good but nothing special. But, the food alone gives this a 5 star, immaculate.

Pleasantly surprised. Just passing through town. Great food and wine. Good service. Recommend: Diavola pizza, Spaghetti Ravi & Spaghetti alla Carbonara, and the Malbec.
Amy D — Google review
It's an okay place. We only went there for the ice cream, and it was fine. Pistachio was nutty but lacked flavor, and the mint chocolate was too sweet. Also, we paid $10 for two small, dissapointing scoops. If you're looking for good ice cream, look somewhere else.
Ethan P — Google review
Probably the best pizza in the area. I saw some reviewer complain about the prices but I feel that the prices are fair. The salad and caprese mozzarella were ok, nothing exceptional but Las Cruces is in the middle of nowhere and i think the city is lucky to have this place here.

The pizza was delicious, per Atlas, but we agree. TJ killed it with the service and a few Mario Kart tips. Patio is dog friendly so Lola could hang with us.
Meegan — Google review
This place is ok. Not horrible, but not great. The pasta is always very bland. I got the salmon pasta. The salmon was cooked well and flavorful. Not overcooked or dry. The pizza is ok. Wood fired. The wine is horrible! All of it had a very odd pickled or vinegary flavor to it. Overall there are other places in town that I prefer over this one.

** First Timer Review** Excellent. Wonderful setting calm and peaceful. Great selections of wine. Pizza was cooked one the spot, and came to the table ready to eat. And after the $10 wine sampler, yes $10, you’re definitely ready to chow down. 10/10 definitely recommend.

This was our first time to Luna Rossa. We sat on the outside patio, which was a nice vibe with the live music. We ordered a glass of Sangria and also a beer. (No liquor is served at this restaurant) The Sangria was good but definitely not worth the $9 per glass. We also ordered 2 pizzas. One with pepperoni, cheese, and green chile and the other with sausage, cheese, and green chile. These were some of the best pizzas we have had here in Las Cruces. It's a wood fired pizza, so it's a thin crust, but it's so delicious! Service was slacking badly! At the end of our meal, there were horrible bugs (flying ants maybe?) that made us end our time there shorter than we wanted because they were just invading the whole space. Maybe it was only from the rain ? We will be back for the pizza, though, for sure!

A Bite of Belgium is a charming eatery located in the American Southwest that offers an authentic taste of Belgian cuisine. The star of the menu is the Liege waffles, which are crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside, served plain or with a variety of sweet or savory toppings. In addition to waffles, they also serve burgers and other Belgian-style dishes for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in a casual setting.
Beautiful shaped over easy eggs. Thickest whipped cream I've ever had. Everything was plated artistically, and every single bite was delicious. Great espresso. Our server was incredibly attentive and very patient with our indecisive group. Menu had so many options to pick from, including spam dishes. Edit: I came back after another camping trip nearby, and quality stays consistently good. Their salmon was a bit tough but tasted great.
Jana — Google review
My recent dining experience at A Bite of Belgium was truly exceptional and deserves a more detailed account. Stepping inside, I was immediately struck by the thoughtfully curated decor, which fostered an atmosphere of genuine comfort and relaxation. Soft lighting and cozy seating arrangements created an inviting ambiance that made me feel instantly at ease. The attentiveness and personable nature of my waitress further enhanced the welcoming environment. She was prompt, knowledgeable about the menu, and offered helpful suggestions, making the entire service feel both efficient and friendly. For my main course, I selected the sirloin tip sandwich, a decision I did not regret for a moment. The quality of the ingredients was immediately apparent. The sirloin tips were cooked to perfection, boasting a rich and savory flavor that was incredibly satisfying. What truly elevated this sandwich was the homemade rye bread. Its freshness and slightly tangy flavor provided the ideal complement to the tender sirloin, creating a harmonious blend of textures and tastes. To accompany my sandwich, I opted for the goat cheese pasta salad. This side dish proved to be a delightful surprise. The creamy goat cheese was expertly balanced with the perfectly cooked pasta and a medley of fresh, vibrant vegetables. The dressing was light and flavorful, tying all the elements together beautifully. It was a refreshing and well-composed salad that showcased a thoughtful approach to flavor combinations. Finally, I also sampled the French-style green salad with oil and garlic dressing. While seemingly simple, this salad was a testament to the fact that high-quality ingredients and a well-executed dressing can be truly outstanding. The greens were crisp and fresh, and the oil and garlic dressing was light yet incredibly flavorful, providing a refreshing counterpoint to the richer elements of my meal. In conclusion, my visit to A Bite of Belgium was a thoroughly enjoyable and memorable experience. The restaurant excelled in every aspect, from the comfortable and inviting atmosphere to the exceptional service provided by my waitress. Most importantly, the food was outstanding, characterized by the freshness and high quality of the ingredients and the skillful preparation of each dish. The sirloin tip sandwich on homemade rye bread, the flavorful goat cheese pasta salad, and the refreshing French-style green salad all contributed to an excellent meal that I would highly recommend. A Bite of Belgium has clearly prioritized creating a welcoming space where guests can enjoy delicious, well-crafted food, and I eagerly anticipate my next visit.

We had the breakfast special. It comes with two eggs, choice of meat, and a “sweet”. I had the liege waffles and partner had the crepe with blackberry cream. Portion wise, you don’t get a good bang for your buck. The food is good enough so no complaints there, but the breakfast special in particular isn’t worth the $13.25. We also got Colombian coffee which was the best part. Overall, I wouldn’t comeback, I’m just glad to have gone.

Words can't sum up just how decadent this place is. The food is over the top and can't be beat. Service is stellar and 5 star. The menu is huge!!! So many choices. Each is more indulgent than the last. Outdoor patio area is very nice with birds chirping and shade. This place is very special, but you will find excuses to treat yourself and keep coming back.

Well, you have to rate this place as almost two separate entities. Bite of Belgium is fantastic. Never had a bad breakfast there, and always great service. Gatsby's Bistro, on the other hand... Service was incredibly slow, especially considering the place was almost dead. Order was wrong on 2 of 2 plates. Food was mediocre. One half of my steak was almost inedibly over seasoned, while the other half wildly under seasoned. Again, great breakfast, but won't be returning for dinner.

Awesome that they have plenty of vegan & vegetarian options for me and my son as well as a good selection carnivore items for my husband & daughter-in-law. From plant based burgers to pot roast with Yorkshire pudding to carbonara ravioli, everything was delicious. Their lunch items are great too. Recently my son had “the best omelet of my life” there. Would definitely recommend this place. Friendly staff as well!

Absolutely amazing! The croissant French toast was amazing and fluffy! The waffles were delicious! The parfait was great and had fruit that tasted super fresh. The coffee and cappuccino were really good too. My only negative of an overall great experience was that it took a while to get the food, in particular the cappuccino, when it didn't look all too busy. Wasn't terrible though and the waiter apologized for the wait. Definitely coming back! Oh, also, the bacon is some of the best I've had.

La Posta de Mesilla is a New Mexican restaurant located in an 18th-century stagecoach station, which was originally the Corn Exchange Hotel. The building features thick adobe walls and a zaguan filled with exotic birds and a piranha tank. The restaurant is known for its margarita menu crafted from quality tequila, agave nectar, and fresh lime.
The staff couldn’t have been more friendly. We brought our chocolate lab (traveling) and were seated in a beautiful patio with misters about as it was a bit hot. The food was incredible! We went with recommendations and tried the beef tacos and combo platter and both were excellent - truly authentic Mexican. Plus, so many margaritas to choose from. I enjoyed a prickly pear margarita as I don’t see that too often on menus. And, the best part? Dessert! The fried ice cream was the best I’ve had in 30 years. The tortilla it sat in made it! My husband and I ate the whole thing So good! I wish we lived nearer as this would be a regular restaurant for us. .

Went with my mom for my birthday, everything was fantastic! I had a combo plate and Mom had the steak fajitas, all of it was seasoned and cooked very well. The prickly pear margarita was a bit sweet, but drop the lime wedge in and it's much better. Cute place, 1st time here, vibrant colors and cute little stores and birds in the lobby. Wasn't busy but food was slow to come out. I ordered 2 tacos and my husband ordered the enchiladas but it still took 30 minutes to come out. Also ordered sopapillas as like an appetizer but I won't order those again, they were super thin ankle crispy and lacked any flavor, I love the sopapillas at si senors so much better. I would come back again. Waitress and manager were super nice.

One of the oldest Mexican restaurants located in Old Mesilla; The ambience authentic and eye catching. We were seated right away and chips and salsa were served almost immediately. My favorite menu items are the pasole and ceviche. The service is slow, and things we ordered were missed completely and had to be taken off our charges as we never received them, drink service was also very slow. However, we enjoyed our time and will return again.

Shoutout to Amy Lavender, who planned and managed our event. Amy, you did an awesome job and kept us organized, told us what we needed to consider, and guided us through every detail. We held our wedding reception at the Double Eagle, and it was beautiful. There were a couple of things that could have been better. It was brought to our attention that the cake was leaning backwards. I would have made our cake; however, I was informed it had to be made in house. Also, there was no bartender available during the dance portion of our ceremony. The guests were very impressed with the venue and food.

First and last time here. We came here tonight for my birthday and I was honestly less than satisfied with everything. The food was good. The bus gal the amazing. Always making sure our waters were filled and table was clean. The drinks were meh. For the price of the old fashions I would have thought they would be done correctly. And they weren’t. But they still were drinkable. The server we had however, probably the worst service I’ve gotten anywhere. There was only 4 tables in the room and the server we had only had us as a table. Our first round of drinks came out at a reasonable time. And our server took our food order at that time. She asked for which sides we wanted and then asked if we wanted soup or salad with our meals. And how she asked it thought it same with the meal. But we were surprised when we saw on the bill that we were charged for them. We wanted to order another round of drinks before our food came out but our server was no where to be found. Several minutes later our food was delivered and we put in a second round of drinks. We were finished with our meal and waiting for a box by the time our drinks arrived. And we know it wasn’t the bars fault because we saw the other tables promptly get their drinks and when we received ours, the ice was half melted. We saw our server maybe a total of 4 times the whole night. For being a “fine dining” establishment, I’m very disappointed with the service. The food was good but not good enough to come back for the overpriced mediocre drinks and terrible service.

Came here with a large group for a team dinner after a full day of work. We had a reservation and we were seated promptly in one of their side rooms. This place is beautiful on the inside and you are really coming here for the atmosphere. The food was just OK, the ribeye was cooked as requested to medium well but was likely only a USDA Select grade of meat. The house salad with Green Chili Ranch was the winner for the night, it really popped with the right amount of spice and flavor. The service was relatively slow but we were a large group but we had several people helping us. Seemed like the water was tough to get refilled and we didn't get our bread until everyone was nearly done with their entrees. I would definitely come here again with a more intimate group to give it a try! But again you come here for the atmosphere!

Si Carissa took care of us and did a fabulous job. This place is fabulous, the decor, our service and my food was incredible. We started off with four different types of salsa and chips that tasted homemade and they were warm, warm chips. What anomaly? My husband went on a combination plate. It was pretty good although the chili Riano had way too much breading on it. I ordered the green chili plate that came with rice and beans, I guess I wasn’t that hungry. But I love love love the beef green chili. It was so flavorful and to die for.🌶️ they definitely taste like hatch green chilies to me. That’s what this area is known for. I WOULD RECOMMEND

My first visit to Si Senor was an absolute revelation, solidifying its place as the premier destination for southern New Mexican cuisine. The crowd of locals eagerly awaiting its opening was the first clue I had chosen wisely. Stepping inside, I was immediately captivated by the sheer beauty of the entryway and the dining area's decor, which evoked the grandeur of an old-world hacienda. Despite having eaten a large breakfast, I was determined to experience Si Senor before leaving town. I ordered a green chile chicken enchilada, a southern New Mexico staple, along with a crispy taco and a side of fresh pinto beans. My delightful server, Luisa, shared her deep affection for her workplace and, especially, for the owners, a testament to her 15 years of loyal service. This indicated a family-owned establishment that treats its staff like kin. The palpable pride and love the staff exhibited for Si Senor, a true credit to the Castillo family, instantly elevated it to the highest tier of Las Cruces restaurants. Si Senor has been proudly owned and operated by three generations of the Castillo family. I had the pleasure of meeting Gabe Castillo, who radiated pride as he explained that the recipes originated from his grandmother. He emphasized that the secret to the restaurant's exceptional food lies in preserving his abuelita's traditional methods of preparation. I witnessed Gabe and other waitstaff greeting patrons by name and inquiring about their families. Even with its bustling atmosphere and numerous tables, Si Senor maintains a wonderfully familiar and cozy vibe. My food arrived, and every bite was a delight and reflected the respect for the ingredients and the careful adherence to age old ways of preparing each dish. The green chile had the perfect amount of kick, and the chicken was cooked to perfection. The ground beef taco was like a dance of favors among the perfectly crunchy shell. The beans were fresh and possessed a unique flavor, an artfully curated blend of spices that I've dubbed "Frijoles Castillo." The "Arroz Castillo" (Spanish rice) was equally impressive, perfectly cooked with an artisanal blend of spices and ingredients that gave a rich almost smoky flavor which surpassed any other Spanish rice I've ever tasted – the meal was truly fantastic. Though I wished I could have eaten more, I will undoubtedly return to what I consider the absolute best southern New Mexican restaurant in the state. For honest, traditional, and elegantly prepared New Mexican food, Si Senor is an absolute must-try.

I stopped here because of a suggestion while traveling. This place was amazing. All the sauces, salsa, and chile were great with the perfect kick. The price was great. The food was great. Portion size was borderline ridiculous. I live in Santa Fe where a tray of 4 salsas/sauces and chips would cost 10 bucks but here it comes with the food. The icing on the cake was my waiter Isaac (not sure spelling). He was very a very cool very good very attentive waiter. Never had to wait for him to pop by and check if I needed anything. A bad waiter can ruin a good meal. Thankfully that was not the case here. I would recommend this place to anyone without a second thought. Open up a place in Santa Fe!!!! PS I got the Hatch Valley Combo plate and everything about it was awesome.

The visit was second choice only because we didn't know how fabulous the restaurant, staff and food were before. It was second to none. We highly reccomend. The young lady who helped us was a beautiful kind Server.

The staff were very friendly! The restaurant is beautiful and well taken care of. We really enjoyed our drinks and the drink menu had images of the drinks which made it easier to choose. Food was also stellar.

Ordered a few cocktails but they said out of ingredients [Friday at 6:30 p.m.]. Free chips and salsa was ok. The Jamaica cocktails and Margarita were bug but way too sweet The fish soup had one piece of unknown fish and the rest was imitated crab. Never in my life had this kind of soup and it was also sweet. Do not think this place is for me.

Visiting from out of state and first time visiting. We were seated quickly and the food and drinks were positively delicious. The fish tacos were so crispy and the chipotle sauce was a great spicy addition. Gorditas held up extremely well and the refried beans with green chilies had great flavor. One more day before leaving and can't wait to come back!

Steak house
Western restaurant
Cattle Baron is a long-standing Western-themed restaurant in Las Cruces, known for serving top-quality steak and seafood since 1976. The restaurant offers a casual yet contemporary dining experience with stunning desert views just minutes from downtown. Its indoor bar and dining space are adorned with classic Western saloon decor, creating an exciting atmosphere. Visitors can enjoy a variety of dishes, including steak, seafood, cocktails, and access to a salad bar.
This was a really lovely meal. My husband and i both got the chicken fried steak, and the crust was absolutely perfect. You could not get a better crust on that thing! It was cooked to perfection. We got a side of fries and a salad. Both of those were amazing, especially the fries dipped in that delicious white gravy. The server was amazing, he was attentive and seemed to always ask about another drink at the perfect time, and he was friendly but not overwhelming, like you sometimes see in places. The whole thing was lovely. I will absolutely go back!

Absolutely fantastic ribeye steak, cooked perfectly, with a loaded baked potato! The food, service, and atmosphere are great, and the prices are all very reasonable. They have a $4.95 salad bar add on which was also really delicious. Definitely coming back.
Ian P — Google review
Our favorite part was the salad bar which was well stocked and clean with traditional salad and toppings, pasta salads, fruits and vegetables, and soup! The cocktail I got was not well balanced and too sweet. We ordered our steaks medium and one came out practically rare and the other one well done. We also ordered onions and mushrooms for our steaks which had no flavor.

The environment was very relaxing. Despite the fact that there were large parties around me, I feel the layout of the restaurant helped to maintain a suitable ambient volume for conversation. The food was delicious. Honestly, those where the best mozzarella sticks I've ever had. 10/10 recommend.

Food was pretty good and came out very quick! Our server was good and very attentive. Salad bar had a lot of great selections and different salad dressings. Would come back to eat again!

Absolutely fantastic experience at Cattle Barrons Steakhouse! The steaks were perfectly cooked and full of flavor, and the salad bar was fresh and well-stocked. Our server was incredibly attentive and made us feel right at home. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming—perfect for both family nights out and celebrations. Highly recommend the prime rib and their pepper steak! Will definitely be coming back soon for another outstanding meal!

Best service we've had in awhile, we were greeted very warmly when we entered and seated right away just before noon which was a nice surprise. Lyntrell was our waiter and he took very good care of us, so professional and the best service weve ever received! I saw Cattle Baron come up as a recommendation while we were passing through town and I'm glad we stopped here. The atmosphere was beautiful and everyone was very friendly. If we ever come back to New Mexico I will make sure we come back here! Amazing food, great prime rib and the green chili burger I had was incredible!
Maggie W — Google review
Do not sit in the bar area during dinner. The bartender, who was good, gets busy and your order will be forgotten. We ordered an appetizer and never received it. I get it, it happens. We told the server who brought our food and asked for it to be removed from the bill. It wasn't. Also, they brought a different side that we didn't order instead of a baked potato. The bread is meh... $13 for a glass of wine that costs $20 a bottle All of the food, except the prime rib, and especially the sides were cold to the point that it wasn't good. Like not even a little bit warm. The whole experience just felt like a complete minor league operation. Save yourself the heartache and just go to Texas Roadhouse.

Mexican restaurant
Southwestern restaurant (US)
Nestled in the charming historic town of Mesilla, just a short drive from downtown Las Cruces, Andele Restaurant has been delighting diners with its authentic Mexican cuisine for nearly twenty years. This laid-back cantina offers a vibrant atmosphere where you can savor dishes crafted from scratch every day. The menu features mouthwatering tacos al carbon, made with homemade white corn tortillas and slow-cooked meats that truly elevate your dining experience.
One of the best experiences we’ve had. My husband and I lived in Tucson for 18 years and have a high palate for good Mexican food. This restaurant blew it out of the water. Every single dish we had was the best we’ve ever had. The tortilla chips are homemade. The salsa bar is packed with variety and flavor. We ate here twice on our long weekend trip. Would love to come back again and try more things.

Overall, some of the best Mexican food I’ve had. They got me in quick, as I was a table of one. I got my drink and chips right away (you get your own salsa from the salsa bar), and they were ready to take my order, but being my first time there, I didn’t know what I wanted. So I took a few minutes to decide. However, it took a while for the waiter to circle back to me. I didn’t have anywhere to be, but it was a little frustrating seeing him walk by and not look my direction. Overall, I can definitely recommend this place for some very good Mexican food.

Stopped in for lunch - so yummy! Lots of food for a reasonable price. Party of 2, we had the taco plate (4 tacos you build yourself). The plate comes with your chosen meat, lettuce, tomato, grilled onions & lime wedges, then you head to the “salsa bar” to choose your sauce flavors. Taco meat was very flavorful. It also came with a cup of delicious Mexican bean soup. Husband had the enchilada entree, which was a full plate of deliciousness. Sangria was good. Hostess was friendly, our waiter was very helpful and friendly.

Well, this restaurant is off the charts. No frills, authentic Mexican. The house specialty, Tacos Al Carbon (steak) was absolutely delicious and plentiful. The corn tortillas are obviously home made and the salsas are all fresh. The service was great and the prices are amazing I’m traveling across country and sad that I won’t have this again. If you’re on 1-10, make a stop, you won’t regret it. .

From the moment my wife, my father-in-law, and my mother-in-law and I walked into Andele's, we knew we were in for something special. This wasn't just a dinner it was a beautiful, shared family experience, the kind that leaves you feeling full in every sense of the word. The atmosphere immediately wraps around you like a warm hug. It's vibrant yet cozy, filled with the delightful energy of good food and happy conversations. It strikes that perfect balance casual enough to feel relaxed, but authentic enough to make the evening memorable. Our server was truly phenomenal. Yesenia didn't just take our order she elevated our experience with genuine warmth and impeccable attention. We felt cared for, guided through the menu with enthusiasm, and never rushed. It’s that level of service, attentive yet unobtrusive, that transforms a simple night out into a cherished memory. Every request was met with a cheerful smile, making us feel like valued guests rather than just customers. The food, oh, the food! It was absolutely amazing. Every dish that arrived at our table was a testament to authentic, passionate cooking. The flavors were bold, fresh, and deeply satisfying, bringing a true taste of New Mexico to life. We shared smiles and "Mmmms" across the table with every bite, a simple, non verbal affirmation that we were all enjoying something truly excellent together. And to top off this perfect evening, the manager's presence was equally awesome. It’s clear they set the standard for hospitality. They checked in on us with kindness and sincerity, demonstrating a leadership that obviously permeates the entire staff. Their care was the final touch, solidifying the feeling that this is an establishment that genuinely values its patrons. Leaving Andele's, we weren't just satisfied we were delighted. It was a dinner filled with laughter, delicious food, and the easy joy of being together. Thank you, Andele's, for providing not just a meal, but the perfect backdrop for a wonderful family memory. We can't wait to return.

Highly recommended breakfast! We stopped in on a Saturday morning and were glad we did! We were greeted as soon as we walked in and seated immediately. The employees were very polite and restaurant and bathrooms were very clean. Our waitress Jasmin was super polite and attentive. There were 5 salsa selections and toreados on the salsa bar, all tasted great. We ordered the chilaquiles and eggs compuestas, both tasted amazing and the portion sized were huge for the price. Despite the restaurant being fairly busy, our food came out quick. Highly recommend the green chili sauce. We’ll definitely be stopping back by any time we are in the area!

Really cool place the history is neet as well. Beautiful place. We did not eat there because a local said it's not what it used to be. However I can't say if the food was good or bad but the place is really awesome.

El Paso International Airport

International airport
Airport
El Paso International Airport, established in 1928, offers free WiFi and a cell phone waiting lot for travelers. Getting to the city from the airport is straightforward with options like local buses or Uber rides. The airport features patriotic art displays and is easy to navigate. Despite occasional crowding, it's spacious and not overwhelmingly busy. Travelers appreciate the helpful staff, as experienced by one passenger who lost their iPad but received exceptional assistance in retrieving it.
El Paso International Airport (ELP) El Paso International is one of the easiest and most low-stress airports to travel through. Security lines are usually quick, the terminal is clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s not a huge airport, which actually makes it really convenient—no long walks or confusing terminals. There are a few solid food and coffee options, and the Texas-themed décor gives it a nice local touch. Wi-Fi is free and reliable, and there are plenty of charging spots around the gates. Baggage claim is fast, and getting in and out of the airport is a breeze compared to bigger cities. It might not be flashy, but it’s efficient, comfortable, and traveler-friendly. Great little airport that does its job well

I love this airport because I love El Paso. Everytime we land, the view of the Franklin mountains makes my heart happy! The airport is small but cozy and fast. Staff are all nice, from gift shops to TSA, as a Canadian I have never been treated so well. Location is not super far out of town so am am even able to walk there from my hotel if not, I take the bus, either the 208 Brio bus or the SunMetre #50 Montana. Wish they would have better food options like a McDonald’s . They used to have a Burger King but it sadly shut down. Still love this airport and can’t wait to be back!

Small airport with a laid back easy process. Drop off and arrival area was easy to get in and out. Rental cars right next to the terminals. TSA was fast and efficient. Great service. Plenty of seating and charging areas. Such a pleasant experience traveling through here.

The Chandelier display at the newer addition, during late summer of 2025, was amazing! You can tell the city really puts a lot if effort into keeping up this somewhat dated airport terminal. And thanks soo much to the gentleman at Southwest's baggage services for helping me get my computer back, after I left it on the plane. Really saved my behind thanks my man.
Matthew G — Google review
This airport looks better every time I come here. The renovations look great. I never have any issues but this time, I had an issue with the rental car area. It was a ghost town. How in the world are there no employees in the middle of the day?? I ended up being at the airport much much longer just waiting for help. When there was an employee there, he said to come back at a certain time so I sat in front of the desk waiting. He left and never came back. As you can see from the pics, one desk has a sign to go to National for help and National has a sign to go to Enterprise. I had no choice but to go to Enterprise and they told me to go to the garage for help. When I went to the garage, the Hertz manager told me to go back in for help. I was already stressed from traveling and needing to get to the hospital to see my dad so I was ready to either turn into a Karen or just cry from frustration. Finally, I received help from the employee at the Hertz desk for a car I rented online from Thrifty. Everyone is very nice but please (PLEASE) have at least one employee at the desk.

October2025: 5⭐: I would recommend this airport location to any of my traveling coworkers , family members or friends. This location is small by comparison to others that I have been using as my primary traveling points. This location has infrastructure and road improvements adjacent to the area. The main roadway appears to be a circle that is easily navigated as I missed exit and had to make a second pass. My first time here I was able to move around, return a rental car and get to my gate within a timely fashion. There is clear signage on the lower level leading you to the security checkpoints on the upper levels. There are several food spots I observed in the facility as well that were being used by passengers

**4.5/5 🌟🌟🌟🌟✨ El Paso International Airport (ELP): Compact, Connected, and Surprisingly Chill** Flying into **El Paso International Airport** feels like landing in a hidden gem of the Southwest 🌵✈️. The **single terminal** layout is a traveler’s dream—no trams, no trains, just one airy building where Gate A is a 5-minute stroll from Gate C. **Rental cars are literally connected** via a skybridge—grab your bags at carousel 2, walk 60 seconds, and you’re at the counter 🚗💨. No shuttle roulette, no lost-in-translation moments. Security lines move fast (TSA PreCheck rarely over 5 min ⏰), and the staff? Pure West Texas friendly—smiles, “howdy,” and even a “safe travels, y’all” 🤠. Free Wi-Fi is zippy (30 Mbps+), outlets are plentiful, and the **Sun City Market** post-security has solid local bites: Chico’s Tacos burritos, Whataburger breakfast, and a surprisingly decent craft beer bar with 915 IPA on tap 🍺🌮. Pre-security, the **El Paso Saddleblanket** shop is a souvenir goldmine—cowboy hats to chili pepper lights 🎁. Parking is cheap ($8/day long-term) and the cell lot is 2 minutes from arrivals 📱. Only nitpick? Peak morning flights can crowd the single Starbucks line—download the app ☕. Sunrise views of the Franklins from the gates are postcard-worthy 🌄. ELP isn’t flashy, but it’s **efficient, affordable, and authentically El Paso**. Whether you’re here for business or heading to White Sands, this airport makes travel *easy*. I’ll route through ELP any day.

Ciudad Juárez International Airport

International airport
Airport
Ciudad Juárez International Airport (CJS) may be small, but it packs a punch when it comes to efficiency and comfort. This tidy airport features around seven gates, making navigation a breeze for travelers. The check-in process is swift, allowing you to spend more time enjoying the amenities. While waiting for your flight, you can relax in cushioned seating or explore various dining options like La Libertad Cantina Mexicana and Johnny Rockets.
Small but efficient airport. Clean, easy to navigate, and staff was friendly. Security and boarding were quick — great experience overall!

A very nice but small airport. Not very difficult to get in. Fast check in process. By the gates in the central area are nice cushioned seats to relax in while waiting for your flight. Very comfortable. The airport only has about 7 gates for flights. While waiting they have several restaurants and shops. They include Restaurants: La Libertad Cantina Mexicana, Chapa Carnes and Cantina, Johnny Rockets. Shops: NUX, Borreguita, Sunglasses hut, The Market. 4'stars because lack of amenities in the check in area and not very many flights which is inconvenient.
Mark W — Google review
As this airport is located close to the border, security coming into this airport is more strict than other local airport. The airport is still under development for over a year to expand the size, but I see no progress. There is two luggage belts at luggage area. The airport has added a walkway to the immigration area in recent days. Parking here even a day is very expensive, I thought.
Atsushi S — Google review
There was no warning sign or anything indicating that if you step out the sliding doors just before getting your baggage , that you can not go back . I got off the flight and decided to go to the restroom quick with my children and than return to get my bags because there would be less people by the time I got back. There was sign that restrooms where that way so I walk out the doors and when I decided to go back in, was told I couldn’t and had to wait until the plane was cleared or one of the airline staff was unoccupied . I kept asking the guard how much longer and she told me she couldn’t hand it to me. Meanwhile my baggage was already on the conveyor already . Waited for 40 minutes aleast . Many other passengers committed this mistake BECAUSE THERE IS NO SIGN THATS SAYS TO NOT GO THROUGH THE SLIDING DOORS OR YOU CAN NOT COME BACK IN THE BAGGAGE CLAIM AREA !!!!!!! no sign on the doors or anywhere near these doors

They have a lounge ro be comfortable while you wait. A few days ago we went and were able to enter and do my work while waiting for our flight. It was expensive, but nice to have a warm comfortable place to work and wait. Today they wouldn't let us go to the lounge early... only 3 hours before our flight... not worth the price!
