Sights & Landmarks
Heritage Lakewood Belmar Park, located in Lakewood, Colorado, is a captivating destination that offers both indoor and outdoor exhibits and tours dedicated to the city's history, culture, and natural wonders. The center showcases over ten historic buildings with more than thirty thousand artifacts on display, providing insight into the local history of Lakewood. Visitors can explore vintage items, old photographs, rotating galleries, and other exhibits that vividly depict the town's rich heritage.
Outstanding lil park in the suburbs of Denver. Walking paths, lake, bird watching, piers and much more all protected and tucked away 10 minutes from the downtown area. Great place to hide under a tree and eat lunch. Swing by for a spell of fresh air away from the hustle and bustle
JD A — Google review
Never thought of a small, old, cute town being in this park. It was nice seeing the insides of the old buildings and the old farm ware equipment they had back in the day. There was even a camp hosted here as well when I walked by one of the big barns/houses. Overall, kind of a cool place to walk around in. Would recommend.
Nikolai M — Google review
Destruction of beautiful old trees! It is very sad to walk around the park, and see the death of these amazing trees. Despicable.
Diane F — Google review
Great for a walk, ride, concerts, history museum and festivals. Wonderful park and venue in Lakewood.
C L — Google review
Beautiful park with neat historic structures! Amazing colors in the fall.
Ciera — Google review
A beautiful park with a great exercise trail. We visited this location on a beautiful Saturday morning hoping to schedule a guided tour. Unfortunately, the guided tour was unavailable. However, we were able to retrieve a map from the visitor/museum center. We walked around exploring the historic grounds and ended up spending two hours on the trails. The trails were full of horse back riders, joggers and dog walker's. Everyone was friendly and positive vibes were flowing. In addition, we enjoyed a brief stop at the museum (don't forget to leave a small donation). To get the best experience, I highly recommend you stop by the visitor center to get a map and dial the number listed for LAKEWOOD BY CELL. Overall, a wonderful walking tour with informative historical sites.
True B — Google review
This place is a hidden jewel to me. If you like going down memory lane, getting your exercise walking along beautiful walk paths or just sitting at the lake and soaking in the beautiful scenery, this is the place to be. The museum and park staff were incredibly nice. And with every visit you see something new. One of the most peaceful places I have found in Lakewood. I highly recommend. The entry fee for the park and museum is free.
Ozene W — Google review
Fun time in the early fall . Lots of free activities. Stands to shop including hand made goods at reasonable prices. Food trucks and drinks available as well. Nice little family excursion.

Bear Creek Lake Park

Park
Bear Creek Lake Park, located near the town of Lakewood, is a massive 2,600-acre open area offering a wide range of outdoor activities. The park features camping grounds, hiking trails, and horseback riding opportunities. Visitors can also enjoy swimming in the lake and explore the extensive trail system. Additionally, the park offers opportunities for kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding on its serene lakes.
There must be a new sheriff in town. He or she is turning this park back into the park it’s been for decades (at least as much as possible with population growth). Sadly, especially noticeable the last 5 years, it started turning into a big dog park. Dogs running everywhere without leashes —when there is an actual dog park just 5 min away, but the wildlife was depleting and trails were popping up wherever people wanted them BUT it seems to be going the other direction and the wildlife is coming back. I’m happy because it truly is unique and my favorite park in the world. :)
Susannah Z — Google review
The park is a true treasure. A Grand tree canopy shades a clean well-kept trail that winds beside a peaceful creek. Walking here feels cool, even on bright days. There are many picnic areas, even with sturdy tables and trimmed grass. Trails stretch wide for biking and horseback riding with clear signs to guide of return. For those who fish there are spots perfect for a relaxing afternoon The grounds are clean, paths are safe, and the natural beauty is well preserved. A perfect place for families, hikers, and nature lovers alike.
Robert W — Google review
Soda Lake is probably my favorite, easily accessible paddle spot with an amazing view of Red Rocks
Jordan E — Google review
Great place to stay when seeing a concert at Red Rocks! We have stayed 3 times now to see concerts. You will enjoy electric hookups, picnic tables, fire rings and a great place to paddle board!
Jennifer G — Google review
Less crowded than Soda Lake. Parking not a problem after 3. Good spot to paddleboard if you don't have much time after work. $10 entry. State park passes not accepted, city park, city funded. Pit toilets were as clean as can be expected. Decent backdrop. Little wind protection. Bodily contact with the water not allowed (no swimming). Sadly, there was an endless amount of glass on the beach. Spent 2 hrs cleaning. Hardly made a dent. I also pulled a tire from the water.
Stefanie R — Google review
Near Red Rocks, good trail but not like state park, not sure worth $15 daily pass
Tommy R — Google review
It's a nice lake, with beautiful views and 3 or more parking lots to access the water.
Ris R — Google review
Easy small loop trail system just off Morrison road. Expect plenty of company during peak hours. Early morning or inclement weather days are best. The trails on the northern side of the park all connect to the southern trails and those around the lakes. Great park close to town.

Great Frontier Brewing Company in Lakewood stands out from other craft breweries by offering a selection of gluten-free or reduced-gluten beers, making it an inclusive option for those with celiac disease or gluten intolerance. The brewery takes pride in brewing high-quality and unique beers like Willys Irish Red Mustache (GR), Colorado Pale Ale, Amigo Mexican Lager, Lithuanian Farmhouse Ale, and Lakewood Lager (GR).
Good beer, extremely friendly staff, and dog friendly which is nice. Plus have some gluten free and gluten-reduced for those with gluten sensitivity or celiac. Will be back!
Dylan G — Google review
Incredibly lovely employees here. It was my first time visiting and the customer service was absolutely fantastic. The staff will take proactive measures to make sure their customers are happy - my beer was slightly flat due to it being the last in the keg and the staff took the time to come up to where I was and replacing the drink free of charge and without me even asking. They care a lot about their brand and it shows.
Kit V — Google review
The beertender was super helpful and let us sample a new release to help decide. The Lithuanian Ale was the standout on our visit. The shandies are a hidden gem. Ask about them for some great combos. Daniel's review was right. The IPA isn’t really an IPA. Small patio available for outdoor seating.
Tara K — Google review
Wonderful place to grab a beer or two. Friendly staff & patrons. Yummy beer.
Michael E — Google review
Very chill and laid back atmosphere with some traditional, gluten-reduced, and gluten-free beers. Dog friendly inside and out. There is also a park really close by. Worth a stop if you are in this part of Denver!

High quality beer with great variety. Owner/brewer was so friendly! Will most definitely be back. Thank you!

Shopping mall
Colorado Mills is a large indoor shopping destination located in Lakewood, Colorado. Spanning 200 acres and boasting over 1.2 million square feet of space, the mall offers nearly 200 stores, including outlets and well-known brands like Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5th, Neiman Marcus Last Call, and Super Target. Visitors can enjoy various entertainment options such as a carousel, miniature golf course, and an IMAX theater.
Colorado Mills is a huge mall with all the stores you can find for shopping. It has a lot of outlets of different brands and there are also some deals going on every time our family visits. The mall has a dining pavilion with lot of food courts from which we can choose the food we want to try. The Mango shake from bubblicious is a must try. I almost forgot how much time I have been there. Anyone coming to Colorado, this place is a must visit place in my opinion.
Peddi S — Google review
As I visited the Colorado Mills Mall west of Denver, I walked into a very clean mall, friendly people, very busy but the layout of the mall is a bit confusing, I will admit. They have so many stores to choose from, just remember which entrance you came in through. Parking on a weekend can be tricky here. My niece's loved riding the carousel next to the food court.
Brian K — Google review
This is my favorite mall in the Denver area. It’s much better than the Nashville mall which gets way too crowded. This one has a nice variety of shops and if you need groceries, you can stop at the Target.
Alex C — Google review
Colorado Mills doesn’t have the quality of stores as it used to have. I used to frequent the mall before I moved out of state. I spent tons of money there since the day it opened. This time, I bought a Chai at Kataluma Chai. A Snickers Ice Cream Chai Charged with Whipped Cream and toppings is a must try. I also bought a birthday card at a gift shop. That’s all I could find to buy as far as “stuff” goes. They have a new Clawww shop which is awesome. It’s one giant claw machine space with multiple aw machines. I won a pack of Raman noodles.
Lady J — Google review
Its a good place to go shopping. The bathrooms are clean and the shops are all good. I went there two Saturdays in a row and never witnessed any kind of nonsense like most malls have. The food court was clean and there were no trays or trash on the left on the table. I would highly recommend
Clint M — Google review
Pretty big and clean shopping mall! You can kill a whole afternoon here.
John C — Google review
We had an amazing time at Colorado Mills Mall! It’s packed with a wide variety of stores, from big-name brands to unique shops, so there’s something for everyone. After a fun afternoon of shopping, we let the kids burn off some energy at Slick City, which they absolutely loved. For dinner, we headed to the food court, which had plenty of options to satisfy our whole family’s tastes. The staff throughout the mall were incredibly friendly and helpful, making our experience even better. Plus, the entire place was impressively clean and well-maintained, which we really appreciated. This mall is a fantastic spot for a full day of family fun, and we’ll definitely be back! Highly recommend checking it out if you’re in the area.
Jacob S — Google review
Great Mall with Something for Everyone! Colorado Mills is one of my favorite places to shop in the Denver area. It’s spacious, clean, and has a great variety of stores—from outlet favorites like Nike and H&M to essentials like Target and Burlington. I really enjoy walking the full circle layout—it’s perfect for getting in some steps while browsing. The environment feels safe and well-maintained, and there’s plenty of free parking which is a huge plus. The movie theater is a great bonus, and I love stopping by the food court for a quick bite. It’s not super fancy, but it’s convenient, budget-friendly, and has everything I need under one roof. Highly recommend if you’re looking for good deals, a relaxed shopping experience, or just a place to hang out for a few hours!

Really beautiful park. Easy hiking trails! Different trails both gravel and concrete. Plenty of parking. Dog friendly. I saw a mini pony on our walk lol. Was so cute! No traffic noise. Lots of birds to photograph and watch. Perfect place for sunset photos!

The walk around the water can be a bit busy at times, but people are respectful of space. A very lovely paved loop with unpaved routes branching off. I'd choose this walk over sloan any day 🤷‍♀️

Great opn air mall. Many stores and restaurants. Hosted 2025 July 3rd Bash, drone show.
George S — Google review
Really well-done shopping development with plenty of eateries and chic little shops, while also still having utility in Target and grocery stores as well. I'm not one who enjoys shopping, and definitely don't attribute status to consumerism, however, this area has a nice feel to it. It's enjoyable to walk around the area and there's both free and available parking.

Nice shopping area with a variety of stores. There is a free parking garage but not centrally located. Parking on the street can only be done by parking sticker? No meter.

Feels outdoorsy yet cozy and comfy. Service is great. The 🍕 is mouthwatering! Reasonably priced handmade recipe tossed before your very eyes. The chips with queso dip was 😋

Bear Creek Greenbelt

Mentioned on
5 lists
Park
Nature & Parks
Bear Creek Greenbelt Park in Lakewood, CO is a 379-acre natural oasis with diverse features such as wetlands, fishing ponds, and riparian forests. The park offers multi-use paths for biking and walking along the scenic floodplain towards Denver or Bear Creek Lake Park. It's a great spot for wildlife viewing and activities like geocaching.
Peaceful and Beautiful – A Solid 2-Hour Nature Walk at Bear Creek Greenbelt I recently spent a couple of hours walking through Bear Creek Greenbelt Park in the Denver/Lakewood area, and honestly, I was pleasantly surprised by how beautiful and peaceful it was. I hadn’t planned for such a long walk, but the trail just kept pulling me forward. If you enjoy a good balance of nature, fresh air, and low-key exercise, this is a great place to unwind. The trail starts off pretty easy, and I appreciated how wide and well-maintained the main path was. Most of it is paved, but there are also stretches of crushed gravel and some natural surface routes if you want to step off the main drag. You can really make the walk what you want—go for a short stroll or do what I did and spend a solid two hours just following the trail and seeing where it takes you. One thing I immediately noticed was how quiet and calm the area is. Even though the park is not far from busy roads and neighborhoods, once you’re a few minutes in, you feel like you’ve stepped into a totally different world. The sound of Bear Creek flowing nearby, birds chirping, and the wind moving through the trees all added to the sense of calm. It wasn’t crowded, but there were enough people around that it felt safe and welcoming—dog walkers, solo hikers, joggers, and a few cyclists. The scenery is beautiful, especially if you enjoy creekside views, tall grasses, and shaded areas under big cottonwoods. At a few points, the trail opens up to wide grassy areas, and I noticed people relaxing on benches or having casual conversations along the path. It’s not the kind of place with dramatic mountain views or high elevation climbs, but for a neighborhood greenbelt, it’s serene, green, and filled with subtle beauty. The walking itself is easy to moderate. There aren’t any steep hills, but the trail does have some slight elevation changes and a few spots with stairs or uneven terrain, especially near creek crossings and small wooden bridges. If you’re wearing decent shoes, you’ll be fine. It’s also nice that there are plenty of side paths and alternate loops, so you can make your walk as short or long as you like without getting bored. There are restroom facilities at some trailheads and a few trash bins along the way, though I’d recommend bringing your own water if you plan to stay out for more than an hour. I didn’t see many fountains. I also didn’t notice any food vendors or cafés close by, so it’s more of a bring-your-own-snack type of place. The trail is also dog-friendly (as long as they’re on a leash), and I saw a lot of happy pups enjoying the walk. Most people were pretty respectful of trail etiquette, which made the experience feel safe and easygoing. Parking was free and fairly easy to find near Sheridan Blvd, but I imagine on weekends it could fill up fast. I went on a weekday morning and had no problem getting a spot close to the main entrance. All in all, I’d give Bear Creek Greenbelt a solid 8.5 out of 10. It’s not flashy or filled with amenities, but it delivers exactly what you’d want from a nature trail that’s close to the city—clean paths, beautiful views, a calm atmosphere, and plenty of space to just move and breathe. After two hours of walking, I left feeling refreshed and centered. I’d absolutely go back, and next time I’ll bring a small picnic or maybe even try biking the full length. Definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area and want a peaceful outdoor experience without driving far.
Dhiraj R — Google review
Awesome walking trails along side a calm creek. Very peaceful and relaxing.
Eagle195 — Google review
This place is great! Has lots of open area! Enough people around for the right amount of dog socializing ! Lots of fun bridges, and walkways through the trees, leading to some wonderful waterside trails . Only 1 thing, if you plan to offleash, it is not fully fenced. But for the trained doggo 🐶 😏 no problem. Happy walking!
Joseph W — Google review
It's not a bad area for walking, running, biking, or whatever. Lots of trails that run along the creek bed, both paved and dirt. There's not a lot else though and when it's hot out, although there are quite a few shaded tree places, it's still quite warm as the breeze is rare here and even when it does pick up a bit it doesn't seem to help a lot. Bring plenty of water and any means to stay cool when it's hot.
Raymond D — Google review
Love this park, but is becoming a bit unsafe. Bike riders have no clue on how to share trails with other people. Used to be safer few years ago, when most bike riders coming from behind you would scream “bike coming on your left/ right”.
CA — Google review
What a great experience! We took the trails, and there were a lot of them, to go in all different directions. All depend on what you want to experience, whether it be open, wooded, or even by the creek. I saw nature's creatures in their natural habitat. Like beavers, and ducks in the water, and prairie dogs in the open fields. The park was very busy, and there's loads of cyclists. But they will warn you on the side that they're on, but just stay to the right 👉
Andrea S — Google review
Just a while back, my boyfriend and I headed over to Bear Creek Lake for a fishing trip. Let me tell you, it was a sight to behold! The place is absolutely gorgeous, and it's teeming with wildlife. We were lucky enough to catch a glimpse of a snapping turtle during our adventure! The whole experience was simply amazing.
Isabella M — Google review

Golf course
Nestled in Lakewood, Fox Hollow Golf Course offers a diverse golfing experience with its three distinct 9-hole courses. The Meadow course meanders around cottonwoods and streams, while the Canyon course winds through sandstone Coyote Gulch. On the other hand, the Links course provides a flat and open setting with views of Red Rocks Park. With green fees ranging from $52 to $67 for residents and nonresidents, this golf destination is perfect for all skill levels.
Breathtaking, from the professionals in the pro shop and restaurant, through the starters, the course and pace of play and of course the views. We played the links course and canyon course. Is challenging with fast greens! Met a couple of great guys and had such an enjoyable round! And the afternoon outside with a couple of beverages and it was lovely. When visiting colorado again we will be sure to golf it again!
Ellen C — Google review
Beautiful course. The course is challenging, and the greens are fast. There are beautiful views on every hole, even able to see Red Rocks at some. The course is well kept. We did pay $95 a player but worth the money. Well kept course and kind staff. There is a lot of space at the driving range as well.
A J — Google review
Great course, but management is quite frustrating. Numerous times have booked a tee time and been told I have to wait nearly an hour in order to make the turn. Greedy people do not honor 18 hole tee times and will book people in between on the back 9. They don’t even bother to tell you that you’re not getting an 18 hole tee time, but rather 2 9s which ends up taking 4.5-5 hours.
Carter C — Google review
Fox Hollow: where my golf game went to die... but at least it died somewhere beautiful. Showed up thinking I was Tiger Woods. Left realizing I'm more like a guy named Greg who owns one club and uses it for everything. But credit where it’s due—this course is a stunner. Rolling fairways, sneaky water hazards, and greens that politely reminded me I’m not on the PGA Tour. Staff? Legends. Friendly, chill, didn’t judge my bunker residency. Pace of play was smooth—nobody breathing down your neck unless it’s your own swing thoughts. 10/10 would return for another round of "why do I do this to myself?" Highly recommend if you love nature, self-reflection, and chasing balls into the woods.
Anthony P — Google review
Nice course, watch out for the magpies; they will steal your food. The driving range is cash only outside, credit card availability would have been better.
James R — Google review
Amazing public course with beautiful scenery. Pro-shop are nice and staff are helpful. Price is good. Love everything about this course. The technology in the cart is really good even w wind direction.
Ann H — Google review
Played the Canyon. Very nice course. Great condition. Lots of beautiful holes here. Loved it!
Tony S — Google review
Absolutely beautiful course with even better staff. My son and i had travelled from Utah to play golf and i had booked my tee time well in advanced. Well I showed up and was surprised to find out that i had booked it for the wrong fox hollow! The staff was amazing and on short notice on a busy Saturday worked us in to play 18. I would have totally understood if they had not been able to accommodate us, but the way they took care of us was just outstanding. Every single staff member we interacted with was just top notch. Highly reccomendz

Everitt Farms Christmas Trees, located at 9400 West Alameda Ave., is a family-owned farm that prioritizes sustainability and eco-friendliness. The farm spans 25 acres and offers organic harvests, handmade crafts, and seasonal attractions for the whole family. Established in 2012, the farm specializes in selling Christmas trees from seedling stage, including Fraser, Noble, Nordman, and Silvertip firs.
Super friendly family farm, great trees and great service in a fun setting. We’ve been getting trees here for over a decade. Great quality trees at fair prices. They take extra care to keep trees fresh so they last longer and are less prone to mold and dust issues that we’ve had with box store and random parking lot trees.

My wife and I went to probably 10 lots/farms and ended up coming back here because of the vibes, prices and customer service. We got a beautiful 7/8ft Nordman Fir and it’s the perfect balance of full and quirky. It’s stayed pretty hydrated and it smells fragrant. Huge thank you to the owner and his staff for helping us load in the tree after they closed. Can’t wait to come back for years to come. 🥰🎁🎄

Over priced Trees! Yes, they looked nice, but the prices are all over $100, cute lot, we went to Lowe's and got 6' beautiful tree for $52! Very happy with our choice, Merry Christmas!

Best Christmas tree shopping experience I have ever had. Phenomenal selection and lovely, helpful staff.

It’s not too late to find that perfect Christmas Tree at Everitt Farms:) There is still a great selection of sizes and types of trees….and they are healthy and fragrant! Nothing says Christmas like a REAL tree!
Renate M — Google review
We had a great experience getting a fresh cut tree for Christmas 2023. This is our first time here and a family who owns this place was very nice and friendly. When we first walked in, we were greeted by a sweet girl and her brother, she was very well-spoken and polite. I asked for some tree branches and they let me take as many as I wanted. The tree that we picked is beautiful, has a great shape, and has lasted until January. The price is also reasonable. We highly recommend this place and will be back next Christmas!
Phatthaya S — Google review
The guys running this place were very friendly. As soon as we walked over, they greeted us and one of the guys explained where everything was. It's well lit and the trees are arranged by species, height and price. The trees were very healthy, and we got a fresh cut and they trimmed the bottom of the tree. I was in and out quickly with exactly what I came for- a really nice noble fir.

We traveled to Everitt Tree Farm to purchase a Christmas Tree. It was well worth the drive. Outstanding selection and really nice and helpful staff. The setting is very festive and authentic. The owner personally helped us to pick the perfect tree! We will be back next year!

White Fence Farm Apartments

Apartment rental agency
Apartment building
NOVEL White Fence Farm is not just a restaurant, it's an entire experience. Housed in a traditionally built white barn with eight distinct dining rooms, each uniquely decorated, the restaurant offers a wide range of American comfort food prepared to perfection. The establishment also features various farmyard attractions and amenities such as a year-round pool, hot tub, on-site gym, yoga studio, game room, and soon-to-come garden in the courtyard.
Nice complex with good amenities! Gym and pool are used by tenants but never completely full. Definitely a gem in the Lakewood neighborhood. Office staff is quick to respond and handle any concerns. Lots of community events and very clean! I like that they have night security patrolling the lot and common areas as well as secure fob entry to every building. Very safe for a young woman living alone!

Overall a decent place to live. The units themselves look nice at first but after living there for a while it was clear that the units were made cheaply and quickly. The walls and floors are thin and I could consistently hear people walking, playing music, and smell people smoking in their apartments. People are not respectful of the quiet hours and smoke free rules. My apartment also flooded during the winter which I understand can happen in cold weather but I do not think it should happen with a new building. It appears the original builders cut corners with less insulation and cheaper materials. There has also been dog pee and poop in the hallways and elevators multiple times. Tenants also consistently leave furniture and large boxes on my floors trash room rather than bringing it downstairs to the main trash room. Even though there are trash cans around the property with dog poop bags, there was still dog poop all around the property. Tenants seem to not care about keeping the property nice. Also the new property management appears to be cutting costs by not heating the pool and hot tub as much, not having as many community events, not having the club house fridges stocked, and not having towels or wipes in the gym. All are little things but definitely a difference from the previous management and also with the same monthly costs for tenants. This property isn't bad at all but very expensive and disappointing when there's issues like dog pee in elevators.
Sara B — Google review
Was a great place. New owner now top dollar for ghetto living. My unit got flooded, and next month, they charged me for the water. Nothing gets fixed, plastic for landscape (except in front of leasing office). 1 star for cleaning lady.
Martin T — Google review
The Novel White Fence Farm location (close to mountains & downtown) and team are absolutely incredible! I have been living here for two months and love it. The residents are friendly, chill, and quiet, the YEAR ROUND pool + hot tub and the gym and clubhouse are incredible, and the rooms are brand new and super aesthetic . Lisa and Sol and the whole team have taken such good care of me and I am grateful I chose to live here.
Christian W — Google review
We moved here under old management. The old company was great; gym stocked with clean towels and snacks, fridges filled with sparkling water, cleaning staff who came regularly, and hallways devoid of dog poop. This new company is terrible. They do not care about residents. They definitely don’t care about keeping the property clean or even in decent shape. The pool area is consistently dirty and dog poop trash bins are constantly overflowing. Robot vacuums have, in large part, taken the place of cleaning staff. At one point, we were without hot water for almost two weeks and had to ask multiple times for an actual plumber to come. The new company wants to get every cent they can from residents while they live on the property. If you want a good experience I recommend looking at a property run by Novel.
Miranda B — Google review
What a beautiful place to live! We had the privilege of helping design the plants to compliment the architecture and décor. White Fence Farm incorporated some of the beautiful elements from the original farm with a modern twist. The space has amenities for everyone to enjoy, from enjoying a cup of coffee by the fireplace, or enjoying the pizza oven and soon to come garden in the courtyard! Step into the yoga studio for relaxation or spend an evening with the family in the game room. Such a lovely property!
Green P — Google review
White Fence Farms is a beautiful community! I toured with Kirsten and she was able to answer all of my questions and concerns about a new home at the community. The finishes are beautiful and the location is great. Highly recommend.
Kari C — Google review
My wife and I just moved to Novel from NY and every member of the staff here has made this experience and transition the most smooth it could be. Literally from day 1 of the process. With ease, patience and compassion. The love, care and pride Lisa & Sol take in managing this property is shown through and through with every interaction and honestly they’ve made an apartment feel like a home for us. I would also like to note that any small maintenance request or need we had was immediately addressed and resolved. The customer service element here shines every time I interact with ANY of the staff and that’s not wavered. Coming from a background in Real Estate and Design the curation of Novel is impeccable. The furniture, art and even linens provided in the common spaces are high end and all for resident use - we used the pizza oven and didn’t have to bring down a single thing (outside of the pizza lol) because there’s a full kitchen in the open concept “living” space. There’s not one thing this property didn’t think of when it comes to amenities and residents safety and security. Honestly I can go on and on about why I’m overjoyed about choosing Novel because it truly is a phenomenal place to be.

Nice restaurant! Great food! Great margaritas and beer? What else could you ask for?? Oh yeah the servers are always great and attentive. Haven’t had one bad experience here I could live off their 8oz filet meal.

Had dinner here on the patio. The food and service were incredible! Lisa took great care of us and made great recommendations. The pork chop was as tender as any I've ever had. The only ding was the stench coming from the trash dumpsters next door. Be prepared if you sit outside.

The food was delicious. We had a team dinner and it was a good choice by our manager. The service was top notch. The pita bread and hummus combination was amazing 🤩. The Brussels sprouts were really good. The sandwich was made with plant based patty for a vegetarian. Overall good service and great food. The restaurant was crowded in the evening but still easy to get tables.

Cafe Jordano

Mentioned on

Italian restaurant
Cafe Jordano is a beloved Italian restaurant located in a nondescript strip mall in Lakewood. Established over three decades ago, this family-owned eatery has become a local institution, known for its authentic Italian cuisine and warm atmosphere. The menu features a variety of traditional dishes, including specialties from Naples, such as gnocchi in cream sauce and rich beef ragu lasagne.
Turns out I’ve known the owner for over 38 years. We met when we were waitresses a couple different places we worked in downtown Denver. Every time I come to town I have to try to catch her, most times I don’t, but I still go and eat the food. The place has many pictures of her family history and her as a baby in Italy. Her restaurant has grown beyond comprehension. It’s good, beautiful and always reliable food. We had the sausage pepper, onion sandwich, and Bob’s favorite. I WOULD RECOMMEND
Cindy L — Google review
This family-owned Italian restaurant has been around a long time, and the homey comfort food represents it well. It’s located in a small strip mall in Lakewood, Colorado, but seems to have plenty of room, which filled up quickly during the dinner service. Plenty of free off-street parking in the mall lot, which was a great convenience. Upon arrival, were waited a bit to be greeted, as the front desk was visiting some seated customers, but once greeted was shown to our reserved table even though our party was 100% complete. Service overall was quick in the beginning, but once the restaurant filled up, our server seemed to disappear for long periods and refills were a bit of a wait. Thankfully, the bus staff were all very attentive. Complimentary bread and oil/balsamic were on the table to start and once ordered the dishes were served hot and presented nicely. All were a nice representation of Italian flavors, Chicken Parmesan, Grilled chicken two ways, and an order of the daily special, all the entrees came with a simple side salad or daily soup. The standout was the light white sauce that was with the grilled chicken entrees, light and rich for the pasta and a great consistency to use the bread to soak up the excess. The portions were good too, with many of taking leftovers home. Overall, the timing of the service was a bit slow, but the food was very good, and it would be worth a return visit. Tips for your visit: To avoid a possible wait, try arriving a bit earlier for dinnertime, and for a quieter atmosphere, the add-on room has a nice space between tables.

Cute family local restaurant in a suburb of Denver. The server was great. The dessert was great. I felt the Alfredo sauce was kinda bland. Needed more of a cheese flavor. It still nice place to eat.

Café Jordano cannot be beat! We’ve been going here for many years. My mom and I always enjoy the polo Eleganté which is tender chicken in a cream sauce with mushroom. My best friend always gets Bob’s favorite, which is chicken in a cream sauce with asparagus. You can get the dishes, served with pasta and red sauce, or have the dish served over the plain pasta, which is really delicious. There is bread on the table for you as soon as you’re greeted, with oil and vinegar for dipping. The price is are on par with other restaurants. They serve Coke products. They have remodeled the eating area after they acquired the space next-door and it is very nice inside. Our servers are always excellent.

I haven't been here in forever. Well, since they did a whole bunch of renovations. Our waitress was THE sweetest woman ever, bread is always delightful, and the gnocchi was spot on. I recommend the red sauce and asking for some of the cream sauce on the side to mix in.
Amanda C — Google review
Had a reservation for 9 two people couldn't make it, hostesses gave us attitude and complains about needing to rearrange the tables. We were given boxes pretty much when we took our first bites, rushing us while we were eating. Overall just not a good experience, probably wont return.

Good ice cream and cute shop. Super young employees but that’s to be expected for an icecream shop in the summer. They have pup cups with human grade low fat sugar free frozen yogurt for dogs that our guy loves!! I’m a chocolate snob and I’ll say that they’re double dark chocolate isn’t super chocolatey haha. But we have gone back several times. We love this place!

First Visit to Magill’s – We Loved It! This was my first time visiting Magill’s Ice Cream, and it was wonderful! The ice cream is delicious — it’s the first time I’ve had real cream milk ice cream in the U.S., not made from whipped cream, and the difference is amazing. My daughters loved trying all the fun kid-friendly flavors like cotton candy, Superman, and birthday cake. It was a great experience for the whole family, and we definitely plan to come back!

I felt like I was tapping into a secret spot despite there being a full dining room, full outside benches, and a line out the door. I ordered a banana split and the ice cream was delish and the toppings were plentiful. Can’t go wrong with anything here.
Connie M — Google review
Went for some ice cream with the family. I got a banana split at the register I told the young girl my ice cream was melted, she said that was the syrup, what syrup?????? When taking a bite it was already completely melted. Tasted like chocolate milkshake with bananas. 2 mins later my kids ice cream was dripping. It not even a hot day. It was actually a rainy type day. I rather drive 10 mins down for the real thing.

We are local residents who live right by magills and have been obsessed with their ice cream for years now. They have the most authentic yummy ice cream and the best staff in the world! We love them so much we even decided to use them for our wedding dessert. They offer wholesale three gallon tubs for purchase and we bought 4 flavors for our guests. It was so fun and so highly praised. Their team organized store pickup for us so professionally for one of our groomsmen to pickup for us and it all went so smoothly. Jennifer answered so many of my questions and helped me set up the pickup order. It was one of our most complimented details that really made our wedding feel authentically us.

Wow! This was so good! We has the fried Brussel Sprputs with the aoili. Sooooo good. I had the cherry bomb with the veggie burger and loved it! They bacon berry jam was delicious and the sweet potato fries were cooked perfectly (trust me when I say this becauseso many places mess up a simple sweet potato fry but they did not). Our server was nice and attentive. Cute restaurant with a relaxed atmosphere. I forgot to take pictures before I inhaled my food...here are the halfway point pics! 😁

We’re on vacation from Florida, and I absolutely loved this place! The atmosphere is quiet and peaceful perfect for enjoying a good conversation. I ordered the meatball sub and it was delicious! I loved every bite, and the fries were so good I was licking my fingers! 100% recommended. Thank you kristen for the great service!!

This was a solid burger place. We got the special (the sweet heat) and it was delish. I got the regular menu burger with jalapenos and jalapeno cream cheese and it was just ok. Fries were great! Service was good too. FYI they have one of those "kitchen fees" thats like 4% on the bill at the end. We were frustrated that wasn't mentioned anywhere beforehand.
Shannon A — Google review
The great staff and homey pub feel can't save this place. The food is crap. We had the western burger, wings, and tots from the app menu. The tots were the only decent thing. The French fries and onion rings on the burger were chewy. The burger seemed like a frozen patty and was overcooked. We had an old fashioned and a Jalisco garden. Both were bad cocktails. Sent the Jalisco garden back and had a strawberry mojito after talking to another table that had one. It was better.
Stephen G — Google review
Food was delicious. I ate here for a whole week but some things were a bit lacking in the flavor department. The French dip is one of their best things on the menu and they swap out sandwiches every once in a while but their chicken prosciutto sandwich was also a banger. Their burgers are extremely juicy and flavorful. Apps are very decent. Everything is a little on the pricey side of the menu but for the portion, I think it's well worth it. The building inside is aesthetically pleasing. Only two bathrooms though which I feel can get troublesome. They have inner area seating as well as not quite outside but outside vibe seating. Full bar as far as options, and decent bar seating. Waitresses and bartenders are decent. Sometimes due to how busy it is, they seem to be stretched thin. Very kind and fun vibe overall. Never a bad time.

We love Teller's. The food is consistent, drinks are great but the staff is really amazing! Whoever does the hiring does a great job. I truly appreciate the diversity, especially for the "burbs" and the bartenders are awesome too!

This unique restaurant in downtown Lakewood provides options for gluten-free, vegan, and dairy-free diets. I've been to The French Press in Lakewood a few times, and it’s always a great experience! The staff are friendly and efficient, keeping things running smoothly even when it’s busy. Their French toast is my absolute favorite! I also love the cozy atmosphere and the local artwork displayed on the walls, it adds a unique touch. Definitely a go-to spot for a delicious meal and a welcoming vibe!

Great breakfast restaurant here. The line for ordering food was pretty quick and the lady working there was nice and friendly. The menu was pretty big and had a good selection of food to choose from. Get their French Toast, especially their Almond Tres Leches one, since it was delicious! Their hard cooked egg and their sausage was yummy too. If you want a sandwich, get the All-American, since that was good too. Their latte was good as well The prices for the food you get were not bad also, for $28 for 2 full meals and a latte. All in all, I would recommend this breakfast restaurant in Belmar!
Nikolai M — Google review
It’s order at the front, then they bring food to your table. The menu has many options for whatever you could be in the mood for. Lots of gluten free and vegan options. The veggie benedict with a side of potatoes was delicious. All the ingredients were perfectly seasoned and fresh. The specialty coffees here are great too. The reason it is 4 stars and not 5 is due to the consistently miserable staff you are presented with. It has never been a welcoming atmosphere every single time we have come. I hope this can change considering the food is fantastic.
Isabella ( — Google review
Coming here to eat is great. Ordering from here, not so great. Who puts butter underneath two hot plates? I don't know what happened when they made my skillet, but there's a tortilla chip in my food when there's nothing I ordered that has any tortilla chips. Don't order delivery if you have allergies.
Stephanie R — Google review
The French Press is doing a lot right. Great menu options, a lovely outdoor patio and my Macadamia Nut Cookie was delicious. The service as far as welcoming and friendly...sucked. Sorry but it did. The guy at the register seemed very annoyed with each guest that ordered including myself. The coffee was bitter and sour which surprised me given the fact that it's called The French Press. Would I return? I would. I would try it again to see if it was just a bad day. After reading the reviews I changed my mind and I give it one star and no I'm not returning if you continue to treat your customers this way. Sorry

This place came highly recommended when we were in line at Onto Coffee so of course, we had to swing by! Matcha latte: 7.5/10 (it was watered down but it wasn’t overly sweet so that’s a huge win) Caramel latte: 1/10 (it was by far my least liked drink ever) Cinnamon roll latte: 3/10 (you could taste the cinnamon but it didn’t scream cinnamon roll) Sterling’s Sweet Biscuits: 7/10 (if you don’t like spice I wouldn’t recommend this dish, the chorizo and biscuits are…medium heat, I’d say. The chorizo gravy wasn’t my favorite but the whole dish was flavorful.) French toast: 9/10 (“the butter was top notch but the graham cracker syrup was unnecessary” -my sister’s review)

Well if you are seeking a down home, true to fame Chicago Beef and Dog house, this is the real deal. I had the hot beef and it was on point, as was the Chicago Dog. In reading reviews I noticed a couple saying the beef sandwich was soggy. With all due respect, thats what makes it so flipping delicious and messy. Great snap on the Vienna brand hot dog and fries were thin and yummy. Atmosphere is everything and anything Chicago and makes you feel at home. And to the people behind the counter, thank you for being you. The area of Denver is lucky to have this Gem!

I drove super far for this, the Italian beef was terrible, the bread was so soggy I couldn’t eat it. The Italian hotdog was pretty good, fries are whatever. I don’t get what all the hype is about. Bathe I just ordered the wrong stuff? I highly suggest not to order the Italian beef sandwich the back of the bread was soaked where it was so gross. The sand which didn’t really have a bunch of flavor . If this is exactly what Chicago food taste like then it’s not that good

Amazing set up and atmosphere. The people there actually have a personality and are super funny. Food is amazing and decently priced. Little India Restaurant and Bar in Lakewood, Colorado offers a sleek dining experience with a variety of tandoori specials, assorted Indian favorites, and an all-you-can-eat lunch buffet. The restaurant has been serving authentic Indian food for the past 13 years and is ranked among the top Indian restaurants in Denver. Their menu includes dishes like Baigan Bharta, made with roasted eggplant, ginger, garlic, tomato, onion, cream and spices.
Little India in Belmar was our favorite Indian restaurant when we lived in Lakewood, and it still is now that we moved up north. The whole family of five loves it. The food is exceptional, the service perfect. Whatever we have ordered, it tasted heavenly. We have never been disappointed by anything over the years. I forgot taking a photo before much was eaten - the formidable food set other priorities. If somebody expects that the waiter asks every three minutes if everything is alright, he or she might be disappointed. At out last visit, it happened only once, I think. This was very enjoyable as the constant intrusions during our meal we would find annoying. Service was there when we needed it.
Frank K — Google review
I decided to start my meal with an order of onion rings as an appetizer, followed by the shrimp tandoori as my main dish, which was served with a generous portion of cheese naan bread and rice. The overall pricing was quite reasonable, especially considering the quantity and quality of the food that was provided. Each dish appeared thoughtfully prepared and well-portioned, offering good value for the money. In terms of taste, everything I tried was flavorful and satisfying, and this level of quality seemed consistent across all the dishes offered by the restaurant.

The food is excellent and deliciously spiced. The Basmati rice is fluffy and perfectly cooked. We ordered Lamb Masala ($20) and Chicken Korma ($18). Both dishes had nice portions except for the meat. The korma only had seven very small piece of chicken. The masala had only 5 pieces. We will return to try the lunch buffet which rnds at 2:30. Overall great place! We will return

The vegetable samosas were decent: crispy crust, flavorful potato filling, and plenty of chutney and tamarind sauces. The aloo gobi lacked in flavor, and the rice was not seasoned enough. The garlic naan was floppy and they just throw jarred crushed garlic onto the top -- not fresh garlic and not incorporated. Also the naan was not buttery. The restaurant was deserted on a Thursday at 6:30 p.m., and I thought that would mean we would get exceptional service because there are fewer tables to satisfy. My assumption was wrong, though our server *was* adequate. He was friendly and engaging, but he was absent for about 5 minutes when we were trying to leave. The only other people in the restaurant were noisy and disruptive, which was unfortunate. The interior is dark, clean, and modern.

I used to go here every couple weeks. Best Indian restaurant in Denver area hands down. Medium chicken Tikka masala is wonderful and never fails to impress me. If you like hot, go for the vindaloo, it's an experience like no other. Garlic naan is perfect, I would avoid the cherry naan if you don't like coconut. Always get a mango lassi to kill the heat or for a nice summer treat (with some Captain Morgan if you're feeling it!!) I think I've tried almost everything in the menu, and the one miss I had was a deep fried chicken. Not my thing as the chicken seems to come out dry, though I'm sure there are some of there that love it too.

I don't like giving negative reviews. The atmosphere was great. The staff were great. The issue I had was 30 minutes after the meal. I was watching a movie next door when I needed to use the restroom. When I got up, my stomach was hurting really bad, and I just made it to the restroom to have massive diarrhea. I was messed up for three days. Will I come back ? No way Will I recommend it?

We're so glad they have brought back their buffet. It is absolutely our favorite. It's a beautiful restaurant and the wait staff have always been very considerate and attentive. Highly recommend!

Was there for lunch. I had the chicken salad and she had chicken curry plus and a side of naan. Everything was delicious and took home enough for another meal. Quiet. Relaxing. Need to visit more often.

Westrail Tap & Grill

American restaurant
Westrail Tap & Grill is a lively tavern with a relaxed atmosphere, offering classic comfort food and an array of craft beer and cocktails. The menu features delicious options like the Westrail Garden starter, flavorful Korean BBQ sandwich, and adult Mac and cheese. The on-tap drink selection is impressive, making it a great spot to catch a game on one of their many big screen TVs.
The service was fantastic! The chef carried out our food himself! He asked us if we needed anything else before we dug in to our delicious meals and was so kind and approachable you’d think he was a top tier camarero! And It’s no wonder he shows face because this food is truly something to be proud of! Our server was knowledgeable about all the beer options, and let me tell you they have a great selection! The GM touched our table with utmost professionalism and I noticed she checks on every table which is customer service at its finest! The bar staff was quick and clean and when we were told about the delicious house made desserts we couldn’t say no!

We liked the place for dinner. Our server was slow and didn’t check up on us much, but she may have been busy. We waited for our meal for 45 minutes. So very disappointed on this. A waiter did tell us a new chef and kitchen crew, hence the late delivery of food Meal would have been better hot from the grill, instead of heat lamps. We would try it again.

Joe was great, and the new desserts were delicious! We had the deep fried peanut butter and jelly sandwich and the butterscotch mousse and they were both incredible. The PB&J was the table favorite.
Kelli S — Google review
The charcoal mesquite wings were the bomb. The burger my wife had was also amazing. Took a little while for someone to seat us. Then it took awhile for someone to come get our drink AND food order. They had trivia going in the other room but the side we were on wasn't that busy. Probably could have used one more server. Our server was nice and did her job, just took some time to get our stuff.

This is a great smaller dive with amazing food. Every once in a while there aren’t enough servers, but overall I’ve never been upset about the food and drink.

Have never had a bad experience. Best fries in town! Best Buffalo sauce! The food is clearly as.fresh as possible. The staff is consistent and not only capable but fun so they must be treating the employees well.

We have been here a couple of times in the last few weeks. The food is good and service was fast on one occasion and much slower the second time. I think it was our server who was nice, but a bit distracted. Westrail is definitely worth visiting, the food is tasty.

Great place for a meal, appetizers, happy or game watch. Creative menu that is very tasty. The staff is always friendly and helpful. Plenty of choices on tap and a decent cocktail menu as well. Ample parking except during busy times and some weekends or playoff games.

Pizzeria Lui

Mentioned on
1 list
$$$$affordable
Pizza restaurant
Pizzeria Lui is a casual yet beloved spot that has been serving gourmet pizza along with beer and wine since 2017. The owner, Zach Parini, made the decision to switch to an electric oven to meet the increased demand for takeout during the pandemic, allowing them to make fifteen pies at a time. Despite this change, the pizzas maintain their charred Neapolitan-style appeal whether you dine in or opt for takeout.
Growing up in Boston with Italian heritage & having lived for several years in Italy as a young adult, I can confidently say that not only is this the best pizza that I have had in CO, but it is some of the best pizza I have eaten in my life. Even though this place is 30 minutes from my house, I will probably find myself here at least once a month moving forward. Thank you Zack for dishing out the best pizzas around - I appreciate it!!
Joshua D — Google review
Great tasting pizza with pizza flavors you can't get anywhere else. The pork BBQ one was my favorite. You can do half-and-half toppings for the pizzas now. Unsure if this was an option before. Employees were kind. Great service when I went. Chase did a great job checking in while I was eating, providing customer service beyond what I'd expect. Aug 1 day shift team, awesome work overall. Just be careful bringing in large parties. There's not too much room inside for dine in and the parking is very sparse. Maybe 5 spots total for parking, otherwise it's street parking.
Yuha Y — Google review
Pizzeria Lui has some of the best pizza around. I've been to majority of pizza places in the Denver region and this has to be the most consistent place out of all of them to quality. The crust is thin and perfectly crispy, and the toppings taste super fresh. Parking can be a bit limited, but the place clears out fairly fast so it’s not too bad. Definitely one of the top spots for pizza!

Talk about a home run! Delicious, unique pies at a great price. The customer service was exceptional and I can’t wait to come back for that butternut squash pizza!

Ok. So I can’t wait to eat more pizzas here. You order them sit . I’m fine with that. We were seriously checked on at least four times during our dining experience. These people cared about how much we were enjoying our food. I love that!! I loved our pizza 1000% We had the Mamacita. 😋
Ali S — Google review
The BEST pizza in Denver! Style is technically artisan but it has great crisp and tastes super fresh. Owner is the chillest dude and actually makes conversation with the customers that come in. Highly recommended but if it’s the weekend you’ll want to call ahead and order. Get a side of their homemade ranch and hot honey.
Ian H — Google review
Might be the best pizza I've found in Colorado (my home state). Make sure to eat at least one slice in the lot when picking it up, because the crispiness and the crunch of that first bite is exceptional. Zero flop, even with the Soppressata I ordered having a bunch of oil extruding from the hot salami and peppers. I can't wait to try the peach pie or other unique toppings other customers brought up. I'll happily drive 30 minutes out of my way to experience this. The homemade ranch was good, tasted a little too much of dill for me. But the homemade hot sauce makes me want to go back to buy bottles of it. Literally THE BEST garlic bread sticks I've ever had. The bread is soft and buttery, but the pecorino (or parmesan? Maybe both?) on the outside gives a bit of crunch. The red sauce is actually sauce, not paste, and OMG is it delicious to dip in!

This place is fantastic. I lived in the North East for six years and the pizza scene in Denver has been rough. This is a great find. Loved every bite.

Denver International Airport

International airport
Airport
Denver International Airport is a vast 54-square-mile facility known for its unique tentlike roof that resembles snow-capped mountains. The airport provides easy access to the city of Denver, which offers a wide range of attractions including concert venues, comedy clubs, art museums, botanic gardens, parks, restaurants, breweries and more. Additionally, Denver is close to the Rocky Mountains and boasts a thriving brewery scene and diverse dining options.
**5-Star Layover Experience at Denver International Airport!** I recently had a layover at Denver International Airport (DEN), and I was thoroughly impressed! The airport was incredibly clean, with a bright and welcoming atmosphere that made my wait enjoyable. Despite its size, navigating the terminals was a breeze, and I appreciated the clear signage and helpful staff. What really stood out was how little construction was going on—everything felt smooth and efficient, with no unexpected delays or disruptions. The dining and shopping options were great, offering plenty of choices to pass the time. Overall, DEN made my layover stress-free and comfortable. If all airports were this well-maintained and traveler-friendly, flying would be even more enjoyable. Highly recommend! ✈️⭐

Huge airport… it can easily take 30 minutes just to get from one terminal to another, so give yourself extra time. There are tons of food options throughout, so you won’t go hungry. The newer B and C terminals are especially nice: modern design, plenty of light, and lots of comfortable seating.

One of the best airport in USA 🎉🎉🎉🎉 one of the biggest airport in term of size in USA . One of the most diverse airport in USA as people from all across the world are working in harmony . Gateway to the Rockies mountains and all across the other states in the western USA . Conveniently located in middle of USA and have connection to across the USA and most of the countries in the world also . One of the best airport made with the traffic ease going in or out of airport . Separate departure and arrival floor make one of the unique airport in the country . And the rental places and taxi have there own floor so one don’t get mix when arrived . Lot of nice resturant at the ticket counter and all 3 concourses. Easy and convenient connection of the concourse by the train and very helpful staff all around . I would say it would made one journey so nice at the denver international airport .

Very packed for a relatively large airport. Staff is okay but the TSA agents are as rude as NY. But it is during the gov shutdown now so maybe it is understandable. Good selection of foods, stores, etc. gate seating is good with plenty of outlets.

Cool airport. The Southwest Terminal (C) is extremely nice and clean. The plane train has a cool jingle for each stop. The new east security was very quick and efficient and clean. My recommendation is to walk down to the end because the line will be shorter. Definitely something ominous and weird about the place but that’s probably because of everything happening underneath the airport. If you don’t know just look up the airport on YouTube. Overall good place though

The airport is huge, with a beautiful white tent-like roof. There is a dedicated subway connecting the terminals, a very convenient modern facilities. Shuttle subway is fast, convenient and clean. There are a lots of charging ports at all gate, so friendly to passengers.

Super convenient to get public transportation including the Red Line Train to the city. $10 for a 3 hour pass. Takes about 40 minutes to get to Union Station. Airport is clean. Very busy airport!
Ben P — Google review
Great airport, we have traveled to and from. I really like the exhibits that they have on the bridge leading to A terminal. There are many different restaurants and shops within the terminals. Some airlines use ramps others you have to walk onto the tarmac to board your plane. We have seen people talk all breeds of dogs into the cabin. Shops are very pricey.
