Pretty place, the beach have amazing views, so clean and the water so blue, my fav beach to go sadly come in winter if nor probably already in water🌊💙

Easily one of my favorite places to visit. It’s really close to home and I think it’s a great place to be whether on the beach/grass/or up on the esplanade!

Great atmosphere. Beautiful beaches. Lots of eateries. Over priced ladies clothing shops. ( cheap clothing, noosa prices) A relaxing day out.

Mooloolaba Beach is the heart of the Sunshine Coast and my absolute favourite place to be. From the clean sand to the calm surf, it’s the kind of spot that makes you feel lucky to live here. The area has everything, great cafes, beautiful walking paths, and a stunning view every day. The council keeps improving it too, more seating, better lighting, cleaner facilities. You can see the effort going into making it even better for locals and visitors. Sure, traffic can build up on weekends and holidays, but honestly, that’s what happens when a place is this good. This beach is a big reason I never want to leave the Sunshine Coast. It’s not just a destination, it’s a lifestyle.

Beautiful beach but ko'd a star cos the works going on made it a pain in the arse to access , didn't hang around long cos we were only out exploring the local area and didn't bring sun protection.

Visited here on a Sunday. There was no wait. Time to get in. It was quite good. Arrived. Just in time to see the seal show which was quite informative and fun to watch good size little aquarium. Take the kids walk around. Sharks manta rays seahorses etc had a great day. Staff friendly Would recommend.

Awesome Aquarium, very focused on wildlife knowledge and how to care for the environment. Our son loved it, and was frothing from start to finish. The seal show was awesome, and loved the tunnels with sharks, days and fish. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable and very well priced experience. Book online early to get discount tickets but either way is a great day out for the family

Great experience at the aquarium! We saw all of the displays, heard a talk about the penguins 🐧 & saw a seal show! As two students the tickets were affordable and the experience was worth while! Not sure how great the venue would be for repeat visits but it was an excellent and highly recommended spot for a day trip while in Moolooaba. The seal shows were at 10:30 and 12:30 from memory, this may vary day to day. Lovely staff and good vibes all around:)

I attended on a weekday with my husband & 5 & 3 year old boys. We absolutely loved it! The seal show was amazing. The penguins were super cute. The underwater tunnel was superb. So much sea life. We were able to touch the starfish on entry. The different things to see & do were fantastic.

Awesome place Always great fun to chill and just watch and relax. My daughter 14 had a blast. Loves sharks great day will definitely be back again for seal photos.

The admission prices are reasonable. But if you book days in advance they are cheaper. We paid an extra $15 per person for the Behind-the-Scenes Tour I loved seeing all the animals. There was an adorable baby penguin and a fun hands-on section where we got to touch some marine life. Walking through the underwater tunnels was definitely a highlight, it felt like being surrounded by the ocean — though it was crowded at times. The Behind-the-Scenes Tour was a great experience. We saw how they house for injured animals and protect local marine life. There were three green sea turtles recovering, and we got to look down into the big pool above the tunnels — seeing the sharks and other animals swimming below was amazing. The seal show was light-hearted and fun, especially Ruby, a playful five-year-old seal. She was absolutely adorable! In total, we saw three seals during the show. The café, which had some food options — mainly small snacks and pies. So, don’t expect a full meal there. The only downside was, the Behind-the-Scenes Tour felt a little short, and unfortunately, no photos or videos were allowed during it. A wonderful experience and perfect would definitely come back again!!

Was here 20 years ago as a kid, now back again as an adult. Still as incredible as ever! That said I miss the 2006 Jeep Fishtank. In where the engine was the filter system. Pretty mad lol.

A quiet little port, it is a good choice to enjoy delicious food and buy souvenirs here, but many shops are closed on weekday afternoons.

Arranged a boat trip on Whale One for whale watching in mid September 2025. Great smooth trip and we were lucky to see a number of hump back whales! Amazing trip!

So many great cafes and restaurants to choose from. A busy place but it still seemed peaceful overlooking the water. I noticed a good mix of age groups too so obviously popular with all ages

Many cafes, restaurants, boutiques and tour companies grouped together in a large market style space with seating on 2 levels. We only had coffee but we will be back for lunch. Toilets were very clean and there is good wheelchair access with a lift to 2nd floor.

The Prawn Star is so good for fresh seafood and drinks on any day. Fabulous service from the team there. Top spot! Casual - family or friends get together. Kids meals can be ordered on a QR code app sitting at the table, from a nearby restaurant, arriving in minutes! We love it!

A free to enter spot in the Sunshine Coast area with a view of the beach, ocean, and the town from a distance. Free parking spots (very limited though) close by and a quick walk from the parking area to the little lighthouse. Toilets are available as well, and a few benches scattered throughout the area to soak up the sun, quite atmosphere, and the beautiful scenery.

Absolutely stunning spot! Point Cartwright Lighthouse offers one of the best coastal views on the Sunshine Coast. The short walk up is easy and well-paved, and once you reach the top, you’re rewarded with panoramic views of Mooloolaba, the ocean, and even whales during the migration season if you’re lucky! 🐋 The area is perfect for a quiet sunset stroll, a picnic, or just relaxing while listening to the waves crash against the rocks below. There’s plenty of parking nearby and good spots to sit and unwind. Definitely worth a visit if you love photography, nature, or simply breathtaking views. 🌅

We went to Point Cartwright today on a low tide, so we could check out thr foreshore and rock pools. The carpwrk nesr the Lighthouse is small, so parked down on the Mooloolaba Passage. A nice easy walk around to the ocean side. We loved the ocean mural on the water reservoir up top also. Tye Passage was nive to swim in, as the ocean side was a little windy woth big waves. A bit much for my young kids. Recommend heading up on a low tide to make the most of looking through the rock pools.

Beautiful spot. A little overgrown but the shots were still good. Great place to get some sunset shots.

The Bayview bar & bites @ The Surf Club Mooloolaba is exceptional..The staff are friendly & welcoming and The food is absolutely amazing!! The frozen Cocktails are so good :) Stunning views & friendly staff!! The only downside was the long wait time for our meals.. However they made up for it with delicious desserts!! Definitely worth checking out if you’re visiting the SunnyCoast!! Can’t wait to come back 🙌 ☀️🌊🍹

Another surf club doing great things. All hosts most friendly, ambience is more elegant than most clubs and just lovely. Tables by the open windows are prized. Pork schnitzel, crunchy and tender, with apple slaw and sweet potato fries. Caesar salad with smoked chicken & prawns, a large serve, lightly dressed with sharp pieces of Parmesan and crispy bacon bits. Yummo.

First time here from Europe and wow… this is living! 🌊 Cold drinks, tasty food, ocean views that look like a postcard, and the chillest beach vibe. Sat outside, watched the waves, and instantly felt like I’d unlocked the Aussie dream.

my family had the most lovely experience here. we had to wait a little bit long for our food but the manager kym was extremely lovely and kind about it, offered us a round of drinks and ice cream for my child. the food was so so amazing the tacos and ragu made us wish we were locals to come here every week. atmosphere was lovely and i am so grateful for the staff made us love our holiday so so much. thank you forever and ever for the kindness of the staff and can never go wrong with a lovely local pub. thank you so much. our family is so grateful for your support and friendliness. everyone does there job with just attention to detail. we love you will definitely come back. kym thank you so much for your professionalism and heart 💘

2 stars for location and view, and the food came out quick. The quality of the food was very average. $29 salad was half a bowl and had 4 pieces of pork. Another person ordered GF gnocchi and got GF penne pasta. Even the chips were average. And $17 for an appallingly tiny cocktail!

most tables offer a beautiful view of the ocean and the beach. we ordered an assortment of entrees which were all good, except for the arancini which lacked flavour. i got the pesto gnocchi for a main and was not impressed. some of the gnocchi pieces were charred to the point that they were crispy, the sauce was watery and the chicken has this weird barbecue flavour to it that did not work with the rest of the dish. overall ive had worse birthday meals but the main was a letdown.

I love the surf clubs in Qld - always the best locations, great value food, and friendly staff. This one is no exception. The chicken wings were delicious, and a huge portion.

We booked very last minute and just walked in the door. The lovely lady at reception was so helpful and friendly, and we were lucky enough to grab the last two seats and head straight onto the boat. The cruise itself was great value at $35 per person. The skipper and crew were both really welcoming and friendly, drinks were affordable and reasonably priced, and the sunset was absolutely spectacular. A really enjoyable experience from start to finish!

Totally enjoyed our canal cruise with Mooloolaba Canal Cruise. Weather was perfect did the 1:00pm cruise which was great time of the day. The whole cruise was very relaxing with great commentary. We met lovely people from Canada 🇨🇦…… The cruise exceeded my expectations

We were sitting at the harbor having drinks when we saw people boarding a cruise for a sunset session and got curious. We booked it the next day with some friends who were visiting and absolutely loved it! The crew were super friendly and funny, making the cruise enjoyable from the very first moment of the safety briefing all the way through to saying goodbye. I absolutely recommend this, what’s better than a cruise along the river with bubbles in hand, amazing company, laughs with the crew, and some real fun (and crazy!) facts about the neighborhood we learned along the way!

We absolutely loved the cruise. The captain and host were so friendly, helpful and the commentary was very informative. We highly recommend the cruise. It was a great price, very smooth sailing and the sights were spectacular. We booked with very short notice and the staff were extremely accommodating.

It was a beautiful sunny day and we leisurely cruised the canals on the 1pm luncheon cruise with a drink in hand. We have done this cruise before but had a visitor from NZ so decided to give her a wonderful experience. We arrived back at the wharf and proceeded to the Prawn Star for lunch. The young Guy who served us was terrific! We had ordered 1/2 large seafood platters each. The Mooloolaba Cruises picture shows oysters and salmon I think but we got Bugs and fabulous prawns with dipping bowls to wash fingers washed down with a glass of either soft drink, wine or beer. A great day so do it!

Often with cruises like this in my experience they are usually crowded and sometimes you need to fight your way through the crowd to get a nice view. This was not like that. It was incredibly nice and relaxing. The guide was really good, provided really good local knowledge without being constant and over the top so you could just sit back and soak in the surroundings. They offer drinks and is licensed so you can opt for a nice glass of wine or beer while you're enjoying the view. Definitely would consider adding on the seafood platter experience at the end. The seafood was honestly the best I've ever had, including the prawns. It's very good value for money and you can definitely adjust to fit your budget and have multiple different journey options too. If you come to the Sunny Coast. I highly recommend giving it a go.

A lovely way to spend an hour. Easy to get on & off for older people with dodgy knees. Great drinks service. Very relaxing. Good commentary but the overloaded speaker system made it a bit difficult to understand.

Incredible experience whale watching with Sunreef. We saw so many whales and saw breaching, slapping and males showing off. To get to hear the whales breathing and making their sounds was incredible. I felt quite emotional. The commentary right throughout our time was so good! Super informative and really engaging. I would highly rate this day out! We were also lucky as we experienced the cross over season. Thank you Sun Reef team for the most magical day.

Magical experience for my teenagers and I whale watching on Whale One with the Sunreef crew. We were lucky enough to see many whales breaching and fin and fluke slapping, and we saw a mother and calf very close - we felt so lucky and will never forget the experience. We were right at the bow which I think made for the best viewing experience, but you did need to be confident and steady on your feet. There are lots of options to be seated, but most people stand up when the whales are spotted.Recommend getting the USB photo package - these photos are just screenshots from videos I took, but the professional shots are well worth the $30!

We did the swim with whales boat trip. It was sensational. The guides and captain were awesome, very friendly, great communication and clear instructions to keep everyone safe and have the best experience. We were exceptionally fortunate to have found some really curious and playful whales which kept us thoroughly entertained. The team at Sunreef really strive to make the experience awesome for everyone on board. I 100% recommend booking an experience with Sunreef!

Wonderful experience diving with sunreef (with my unidive group) at the Ex-HMAS Brisbane this weekend. Big thanks to everyone who helped, wonderful skipper (I believe Annette), and especially to my guide Mark - an eye for octopus and a calm, friendly, supporting guide who made it an easy, stress-free, fun dive. Always grateful for guides who accommodate new divers with patience and encouragement. Friendly and welcoming from the front desk to the ocean floor!

Amazing!! Took a trip on Whale One, and we followed a couple of whales on their adventures for a few hours. The entire experience was made better by the positivity of the crew (special mention to Heidi and Sarah on the mic!) who seemed more excited about the whales than me…!! 100% recommend.

Thank you to Sunreef for an incredible day on the water on the Whale 1 vessel with ample space to move around and provide many vantage points. The crew were engaging and helpful, offering great commentary! We were fortunate to have many whale sighting and dolphins pods joining into the fun. Photos simply don’t do it justice.

What an absolute pleasure of an experience. The boat had plenty of room, the staff were really friendly. Now, the whales….wow! Were saw 3 whales, 2 with calf and the biggest highlight was a whale “breaching” 30 metres away! So so awesome, do yourself a favour and go with these guys.

The beauty that is captured in these landscape master pieces is incredible. They are the type of prints that make your average looking home, superior!! Well done Mark. Superb gallery, superb images. Mark was very friendly and open to chat about his photographic art in general which is kinda rare compared to other galleries I've visited. Absolutely thrilled with our experience at Pier 33! They stepped in last minute to host our daughter’s wedding and pulled it off seamlessly , we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful venue or a more professional, caring team. The waterfront views were stunning, the atmosphere elegant yet relaxed, and every detail was handled with grace and ease. The service was outstanding, and they truly made our family and guests feel looked after from start to finish. We can’t recommend Pier 33 highly enough for a wedding , they turned a stressful situation into an unforgettable celebration. Forever grateful!

Incredible dinner! I'm so thankful they had two absolutely delicious vegan dishes on the menu, I ordered them both and they were perfection. I never wanted the ravioli dish to end. My partner had the king prawns and loved them, too. Took a long time to be seated despite booking but our waiter was lovely. The atmosphere could have been better, there was an event going on and it was open to the restaurant with no sound barrier.

Excellent location, delicious food, easy parking. Very quiet place on working days in the afternoon, but very busy and good for socialising Fri and weekend evenings. Beautiful place for celebrations or special days Definitely recommend to visit.

First time at Pier 33 even though we've been yo Mooloolaba many times. The service was friendly and we started with a relaxing cocktail out on the deck. We opted for a lovely bottle of prosecco and entree of the Prawn Spaghetti to begin and then an entree size of the seafood chowder, both dishes were delicious and we were happily satisfied with the portion sizes. Thanks guys for a lovely relaxing lunch experience.

The food was quite good overall, my only issue was that there seemed to be a low understanding of food allergies from the waitstaff, there were several miscommunications regarding gluten contamination and celiac disease. Even the menu was confusing when it came to gluten free options as we elected to have the bugs as an entree since it was listed as gluten free but when it came out we realized that they had been deep fried in a fryer shared with gluten products. In the end we did not have any gluten issues with the seafood block, broccolini, mushrooms or pavlova but you have to be cautious when ordering. Again the food was quite tasty but the allergy knowledge was quite quite subpar and the waitstaff seemed very flustered all evening despite the restaurant being fairly quiet. I would return and still had a really enjoyable evening but some more training and knowledge would bring the good experience to a very good one.

Met the General Manager at the weekend during an event and she was just gorgeous. Polite, engaged and very warm and friendly. The event was busy and after chatting with her I then saw her behind the bar with the staff getting stuck in. Wanted to give her a shout out as she made a lasting impression and the event was planned really well. Such a vibe and really enjoyed it at Pier 33

Even though it’s walk-in only, it’s definitely worth the wait! Hands down the best Asian cuisine I’ve had on the Sunshine Coast. The chefs are professional, the food is delicious and beautifully plated. Make sure you try the dry-aged roast duck pancakes — a must!

Beautiful place to sit and enjoy some gorgeous food by the water. 3 adults, 3 mains, all absolutely delicious. 10hr slow cooked beef curry, char siu pork, calamari. $88 great price for amazing food! Fast service, would highly recommend!

Mainly sharing plates. You can’t book a table so you could end up queuing to get in as it’s very popular. Food is super tasty and fresh. Friendly service. Only issue for us was that the plates didn’t come out at the same time and were staggered. We sat in the garden bar area which was great.

The vibes of this place are just amazing. The decoration takes you to some place in Asia and the flavours of the food as well. What I realised in the last year is that no one really cares about the service, they just bring the food and clean the tables and that’s all about. It became so busy that no one really cares about the good service experience. Will be great to have some service apart from nice food and restaurant. Because sometimes it just feels like a fast food restaurant

We arrived around 5.30 and this place was cracking, by the time we left an hour later there would have been minimum 50 people waiting outside. Very very popular. Food was fresh and delicious and considering the amount of orders being put through we had our meal in great time, very impressed. If you want a quiet dinner perhaps give it a miss because there's so much going on in a good way, but may not be for everyone looking for a quiet evening. We weren't aware until we lined up to order that there was a specials board right near the counter so we changed our order, would have been nice if it could be seen from the dining tables or was mentioned upon seating, just a suggestion. Great meal and glad we went.

One word, unbelievable. Ordered the Katsu curry fries, chicken wings and Cha su pork, not a single fault. I've never sat in the garden before and have to say the vibe there is top notch. Try to go before everyone else gets hungry as there's always a bit of a line. Best to have an early dinner. I tried out the bubble tea and must've gotten unlucky as it was pretty dull. Not much flavour at all, but I saw them serve the same thing later and it looked darker so I can only assume it was a one off. Regardless, awesome experience.

Beef curry was 100/10 and the other dishes were good but not amazing. Prawn toast lacked flavour and so did the chicken bao. Cocktails were great.

My husband and I only get a proper date night once in a blue moon, and Bella Venezia made it truly special. The food was excellent as always, but what stood out most was the outstanding service from Brendan. He took the time to explain the menu really well, was attentive throughout the evening, and made us feel so well looked after. Thanks to him, our night out felt extra memorable. Overall, a very good experience! We will definitely be back!

We came here for a 51st anniversary lunch, and had a wonderful time! 😄 The waitstaff were all lovely (especially our server, Nicole; pat on the back to her!) and the food was mouthwatering, and I wanted it to last forever! 😋💗 All in all, a gorgeous venue, people and food. Five stars! 🌟

From the moment we arrived, our waiter, David, made us feel right at home. It’s refreshing to encounter someone so dedicated to ensuring guests have a memorable experience. Now, onto the food. I ordered the Patagonia toothfish, and it was cooked to perfection—flaky, tender, and bursting with flavor. Each bite was a testament to the chef's skill and attention to detail. I couldn’t help but eye the beautiful pasta dishes on neighboring tables, and they looked equally enticing; I’ll definitely be back to indulge in those on my next visit. While Bella Venezia leans towards the higher end of the price spectrum, every penny spent is a worthy investment in a delightful dining experience. Slightly odd beginning to the feast. We walked in on a Tuesday night and were informed there will be a 45min wait. We went around the corner and then booked online and returned and were able to get a table within 5mins (much to the chagrin of the person that I tally attended to us). Anyway, the beef cheek ragout was outstanding and was very quickly served. No prolonged waiting around which suited us well. Other staff were attentive and respectful.

We came to celebrate my partner’s birthday, and everything was just perfect! From the moment we arrived, the service was exceptional, special thanks to Brendan, who made us feel truly welcomed and well taken care of. He was attentive, kind, and gave great recommendations. The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. The atmosphere was warm and elegant, a perfect spot for a special occasion. Highly recommend if you’re visiting the Sunshine Coast. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Brendan was our waiter. He was thoroughly helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and most definitely amplified an already exceptional experience. Brendan deserves acknowledgment for going the extra mile to make the entire dining experience absolutely perfect. The food was absolutely delicious, exceptional selection of wines and a beautiful atmosphere. We look forward to returning.

We ordered takeaway, but the portion for a main meal (gnocchi with truffle oil) was lesser than a starter! Luckily, our hotel was located next door, and they brought another serving to our hotel but if we stayed a bit far not sure if we would have been able to eat..however the food items were really delicious, an exquisite Torte!

Recently visited See Restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious, Service efficient and friendly, Atmosphere very welcoming. A big thank you to Antonio and Jack for your outstanding efforts. My wife and l were lucky enough to sample their new menu. l would highly recommend the BBQ Seafood Tasting Plate, Chilean Style Chilli Mussels, Charred Fremantle Octopus, Macadamia Crusted Barramundi and See Style Paella. Although the whole menu looks very appetizing you can only eat so much. I would Highly recommend SEE. Will be visiting again on our next travels from Melbourne to try the other items on the menu. The restaurant is over lit, nothing screams good ambience like feeling I’m in an office cubicle it’s so bright. We ordered the tuna crudo and beef carpaccio. The carpaccio was good but the tuna was so weird - it was thick cut and then lightly cooked - not seared. I was so disappointed. For our mains I had the crayfish which was served like pub fare. It was $130 for crayfish on chips and a barely dressed extremely simple side salad that I’d expect with a parmy. I don’t often leave reviews, but I was pretty shocked. This is deemed to be an establishment in the sunny coast and it feels so amateurish. It’s like someone read what made a good restaurant in 1993 and decided “yep. Mate that’s it. We’re done.” I had a really delicious cocktail and the crayfish itself was pretty tasty. the service was phenomenal, attentive and quick.

We recently eloped and chose The See Restaurant to celebrate afterwards and it couldn’t have been more perfect! The location was absolutely spectacular, with stunning views that made the experience even more special. The cocktails were outstanding, the seafood was fresh and delicious, and the service was warm and attentive from start to finish. Our group enjoyed it so much that we made sure to go back again before heading home. It truly was the perfect place to celebrate such a special occasion. Highly recommend!

The Dock is easily the best pub in Mooloolaba. Waterfront views, plenty of live music, DJs on Sundays, and a really good vibe. The staff are always friendly and the service is excellent – Tim does a fantastic job running the venue and you can tell everything is well looked after. There's a huge variety of drinks with heaps of beers on tap and a great cocktail list. The weekly meal specials are excellent value too. Whether it’s a casual lunch, catching up with mates, watching the footy, or showing visitors around, The Dock is always our go-to.

Great location, overlooking the harbour. It's self order at the bar. Avoid the fish tacos, (2 bites each with little flavour), and give the salt & pepper squid a miss as well. Served very blonde, no flavour to the squid & strong floury flavour to the batter. Drinks were fine though, so perhaps a nice place for a drink with a view before eating elsewhere.

I didn’t think it was possible to destroy a piece of wagyu rump by poor cooking like we had here, ordered medium, came out absolutely cremated and hard to cut through even with a steak knife. The rib eye ordered medium rare was full of grizzle and tough also way overcooked, as if the meat was really poor quality and the doneness preferences completely ignored. On the plus side we enjoyed the atmosphere and location. Calamari was great, and chips & salad sides good too. We felt it had gone downhill since last visit unfortunately, management really needs to pay attention to the cook’s competency and quality of meats, and return to table waiters for atmosphere and a sense of personal touch, not just QR codes or go to the bar to order. Sure costs have been cut but at the price of reputation its never worth it.

We’ve been to this restaurant before and had a great experience, so we were really looking forward to coming back. Unfortunately, this visit was a complete letdown. Despite having a reservation, staff struggled to find us a table and we were eventually seated side by side outside the toilets, in the middle of an absolutely packed venue. The noise level was unbearable — a large group of obnoxiously loud, heavily intoxicated young men made it impossible to even hear each other speak. My partner also witnessed some of them snorting lines in the men’s toilets. Shockingly, staff did nothing to address their behaviour and continued serving them alcohol — and this was at 7:30pm, so not exactly late-night rowdiness. Our meals came out quickly, but the sides were plated incorrectly with the wrong dish. Instead of remaking it, staff just took it back to the kitchen and swapped the meat from one plate to the other. With my food allergies, this was completely unacceptable and could have been done at the table — but either way, the cross-contamination had already occurred, and I suffered the consequences later. To top it off, our starter was brought out at the same time as the main, which completely defeats the purpose of ordering a starter. All in all, this visit was hugely disappointing. The poor handling of a clearly intoxicated and obnoxious group, the disregard for food allergies, and the chaotic atmosphere made it a night we won’t forget for all the wrong reasons. Definitely not the standard we expected based on our previous visit.

Dined here a few times for dinner while being on holiday! The food has been great every time, steak night was a highlight along with the espresso martini. The staff have also been wonderful. Highly recommend and look forward to returning!

I've been to The Dock a few times. I've had my food at one point take around an hour to get to me, which is obviously super disappointing and unacceptable. I've also been there and the tables were really sticky, and going to get a drink from the bar is generally an event I don't look forward too as the lines are big and takes a few minutes at least. However, I've also been there on a busy night and the food came quick. Assuming the food will not take you an hour, the venue is great for large groups of people, so I would recommend it if you're having 10+ people for some kind of gathering. Overall a nice addition to The Wharf, but definitely haven't been amazed.

Sticky tables, sticky menus. Mains came out before the starters. Waygu rump was not waygu. Sinew all the way through. Well done on the ends, medium rare in the middle. Salt and pepper squid looked and tasted out of a box. Hurried out by staff with a booking sheet while we were still eating. Unprofessional and unsatisfying

Food was alright. Was missing a few items from the menu that we wanted. Was seated at a two-person table where we weren't facing each other which was pretty awkward tbh. Truffel gnocchi was good! A bit heavy on the garlic which overpowered the Truffel though. Risotto was a bit bland, certainly went easy on the parmesan but I guess I could have asked for more. Good solution was adding excess gnocchi sauce to the risotto for flavour 👌

Second time visiting this Italian for lunch and even more impressed than first. Highly rate this place, food is delicious and affordable compared to other Italian locally, the staff are polite and genuine, very helpful, great drinks pairing. Will definitely be back again soon. Best pizzas in Mooloolaba and the mushroom truffle gnocchi is to die for! Check out their specials. Very sheek design inside or you can have a lovely casual afternoon in their outside seating.

Had the $33 2 course lunch menu, I would say best Italian I have ever had, my daughter travelled to Italy recently said it was just as good, overall an extremely memorable lunch, great service, can’t wait till our next lunch there, I highly recommend it.

Had an early reservation, the meal was fantastic, servers were very attentive but not overly so. Prices were very reasonable given the very high quality of the food. I would highly recommend eating here.

Honestly a beautiful place to eat! We had the best lunch 2 course menu for only $33. Food was amazing and service super friendly. Highly recommend!!!!

Remarkable service and incredible Italian food matched with cosy atmosphere. Pan fried sccalbs was nicely cooked and served with salad for starter. Main dish was cooked to perfection. Our overall experience has been outstanding.

Currently sitting in Il Vento finishing one of the loveliest meals I have had in quite a while. The service has been phenomenal, with nothing being too much trouble. The arancini and pizzas are great, and the panna cotta is one of, if not the best my husband and I have tried. Couldn’t fault anything :)

I was really impressed with the dining experience here. The food was beautifully presented, flavorful, and made with fresh ingredients. The seafood and curry dishes were especially delicious and aromatic. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and attentive. Wow. Tucked away from the Mooloolaba foreshore on a backstreet this Thai was busy! Just amazing from start to finish. The flavors!! Definitely try the Prawn entree and Chicken satay skewers! Standout dish was Duck with cashew and chilli jam stir fry veggies. Yum! Beautiful attentive team and for a quiet table eat outside with the heaters. The place was packed for a Wednesday night!

Dropped in here for an early dinner at 5.00 pm and were lucky enough to get a table as the restaurant was fully booked out. And lucky we were. The service and staff were all Thai and professional, friendly and welcoming. The food was awesome. This is definitely worth checking out and bookings are highly recommended. The 2 of us shared 2 starters and a main with rice which was perfect. Will certainly be going back. Wrll done Team Ton Khao.

Lovely dinning experience! Just the right amount of tables making for a nice place for dinner for two or with a group of friends. Service is great and they double check everything so that you are served exactly what you have ordered. Very good value for money without compromising on quality. Main meals start from $28. We were a group of 7 and our bill was under $500 including a few drinks and entrees. I had the Chilli Roast Duck without any variation to the preparation such as not reducing the amount of chilli they normally add. You can ask to vary your order if you don’t like a lot of chilli. Cocktails were made with quality mixers and not watered down. Do try a hand crafted cocktail or two. A great way to compliment your dining experience. But they do serve usual drinks such as beer. Tried their offering of Moscato which came in a mini bottle. Not like what you would be served in a pub “house wine” that’s been poured from a large stale wine bottle. I would recommend booking your table. A little noisey due to all seating filling but nothing like an overcrowded pub. They have been operating there for 10years so they must be doing something right! First time experience and won’t be our last.

Ton Khao absolutely nailed every dish we order. But for me the Drunken Noodles was the most outstanding. I’ve had this dish many times while living in Thailand… and this was better!! Authentic flavour, beautiful heat from the chilli and green peppercorns, and perfect char on the noodles. Fantastic, friendly owners and staff… we’ll be back again and again!!

Had a cracker of a meal here. The 2 of us shared a starter, salad and mains with a cheeky sangiovese and finishing off with Greek donuts and a Greek Sunrise coffee Martini. Great food, great service. Well worth going if you like Greek coastal food.

Spero restaurant chose to dine in and have a late lunch after visiting Sea life which is just cross the road from the restaurant, We love Greek food We often dine in Greek restaurants but I’m sorry this one was more than show than go. My moussaka was terrible. the taste just like meat off the bone like old last wks lamb roast was very rich taste to game meat like very little eggplant at all in the dish I didn’t eat it I told the waitress as my plate was still sitting there when we paid. She didn’t give a damn so I left disappointed & still hungry sizes small not generous I suggest they lift there game for the prices staff hovering over the table all the time very persistent in asking asking us if we want drinks we didn’t come here to drink alcohol We came here to eat good food there was only one other couple in there when we were there so maybe give this one a miss, I was going to eat at the seafood boat restaurant next door should of 😢 two stars because you should never leave a restaurant feeling hungry and because of the way that the waitress reacted and had no concerns for the fact that my meal was still sitting on the table not eaten

This beautiful restaurant located on the wharf had a real beach vibe. The food was excellent and the service was amazing. We had a trio of dips served with two types of bread, grilled saganaki and grilled octopus for starters. The octopus, Yum! For main I had the baked snapper, citrus, chilli fennel and radish which was delicious. Had a side of mixed leaf salad, ricotta with garlic dressing. My hubby had the lamb shoulder, tzatziki, lamb sauce. lemon with a side of lemon roasted potatoes . Highly recommend these mains. The fish was so soft and the lamb was falling off the bone.

Started off ok.. Saturday morning was reasonably busy however the staff seemed stressed. The starters were tasty and fresh however it went downhill from there. Ordered prawn pasta and it was so sweet it wasn’t edible and the prawns were tiny and chopped up, my steak was ordered medium and was rare at best. The feta fries were so over seasoned none of us could eat them, also there was barely any feta on them. The lemon potato’s were just ontop of a sauce and weren’t anything spectacular. The server was incredibly rude and treated us like we were an inconvenience. She couldn’t smile and when we raised issues with the food she just said this is how Greek food is. Yet we have never had prawn pasta taste like this either in Greece or any other Greek restaurant in Australia. The design of the place is really nice and in a good spot however the service and food needs improving as they clearly do some dishes very well but others not at all. We spoke to the manager about the server and provided our number and was told we would get a call back but no call was made. There was also two items on the menu we didn’t order which was caught when reviewing the bill. I will credit them for removing the pasta from the bill.

Husband and I stopped in for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon the food and wait staff where lovely We highly recommend the baked scallops and Lamb Gyros. We also had the beef souvlaki and it was nice just preferred the other items we got. For the two of us for lunch it came to $80 and was well worth it.

The first thing you notice about Spero is the beaming smiles and positivity of the staff - they all seem to be very happy and keen to help. There’s a vegan menu and some of it is also available for take away. We had the vegan gyros, lemon potatoes and mixed salad - all very good. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in the area.

Very busy restaurant, even on Monday night. Lamb shoulder was cooked beautifully and melted in the mouth. BBQ chicken was full of flavour. Good food and good service. Happy meal. 😊

A quiet little port, it is a good choice to enjoy delicious food and buy souvenirs here, but many shops are closed on weekday afternoons.

Arranged a boat trip on Whale One for whale watching in mid September 2025. Great smooth trip and we were lucky to see a number of hump back whales! Amazing trip!

So many great cafes and restaurants to choose from. A busy place but it still seemed peaceful overlooking the water. I noticed a good mix of age groups too so obviously popular with all ages

Many cafes, restaurants, boutiques and tour companies grouped together in a large market style space with seating on 2 levels. We only had coffee but we will be back for lunch. Toilets were very clean and there is good wheelchair access with a lift to 2nd floor.

The Prawn Star is so good for fresh seafood and drinks on any day. Fabulous service from the team there. Top spot! Casual - family or friends get together. Kids meals can be ordered on a QR code app sitting at the table, from a nearby restaurant, arriving in minutes! We love it!

ACCESSIBILITY ISSUES: We celebrated a birthday here for a bottomless brunch. The cocktails were lovely but limited. We tried all but one and then only stuck to that one. Food itself was amazing and they were very receptive to a dairy allergy. Food would have had 5 stars if there was more than one cocktail that was good, the chefs were perfect. The biggest issue was accessibility - I checked ahead on their website since I have a broken ankle and foot. On arrival the lift was being repaired (so not a sudden issue). Highly recommend calling ahead if you are unable to manage 2 flights of stairs (I had to manage on my knees while someone carried my knee scooter up). I didn’t think to call since it was my first time out since I was injured, but I could work around it. If I was a wheelchair user I would have been beyond disappointed. We need more accessibility in the world, or at least fair warning.

Pizzas were the worst we’ve ever had. So so salty felt like they’d been dipped in the ocean before being served. We ordered 4, one which was gluten free and it was beyond terrible. My friend got her money back as her crusts were clearly burnt and instead of making a new base — they just completely cut off the crusts hoping we wouldn’t notice.

Good food, good service. Busy in the evenings. Had vegetarian options. Mostly pizza. No hot drinks like coffee, tea or hot chocolate.

Enjoyed our ladies lunch with cocktails and beautiful food! Parking is a bit of a problem and you have to climb stairs to get to the restaurant, so something to be aware of. Otherwise, the staff are amazing and the food too, all with a fantastic view of the ocean.

We had to find our own waiter 25 minutes after being seated because none came to serve us. First waitress brought our meal and a twisted clump of hair. We had to remind wait staff to bring our dishes and drinks (we ordered 5 dishes and 2 drinks). We had to ask for water. The meals were good but didn't compensate for the service

Definitely one of my favourite restaurants in Mooloolaba! Even with the renovations and scaffolding around the building, we still enjoyed a fantastic view from our window. The food was absolutely delicious, the staff were professional and attentive, and the decor is simply stunning. Can’t wait to come back!

Really nice atmosphere, food was yummy, portion sizes are small but we got a 2 for 1 deal so it was fine.

I should have checked what was in the international terminal sooner (it's all my fault). As it turned out, there is pretty much nothing of value. There are hardly any food options, the toilets are few and far between and actually filthy. The only feature is the endless space, which makes this place excellent for walking around, but it's worth having dinner beforehand because the options are pretty bleak. The domestic terminal is light years better.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Brisbane Airport is one of the best-organised airports in Australia! It’s modern, clean, and easy to navigate, with plenty of clear signage. Check-in and security are usually smooth and efficient, and the staff are friendly and helpful. There’s a good selection of cafes, restaurants, and shops, making waiting time comfortable. Transport to the city is convenient with the Airtrain and well-marked rideshare areas. Overall, a pleasant and stress-free airport experience — a great gateway to Queensland!

Appalling experience at Brisbane International Airport on Sat 01 Nov 25. Absolute chaos from the bag drop, the queue just to get into security, queue for passport control. What has always taken about 30mins took well over 2 hours. Little direction from airport staff meant people not sure of where to go, bad flow of traffic and travellers being rushed through to not miss boarding. What is going on?

The baggage claim exit at Brisbane Airport was one of the worst experiences I’ve had in years of frequent international travel. The line to exit stretched endlessly with hundreds of people waiting, and there was absolutely no organization. Airport staff shouted conflicting instructions, telling us to follow one person only for directions to change minutes later. At one point, a new exit line was opened and then abruptly shut down within 15 minutes. I fly weekly and mostly internationally, and I have never seen such poor management and disorganization at a major airport.😩

Advanced screening setup is brilliant, no need to take out laptops or aerosols anymore. The screening process was super quick and smooth. Great job by the team!

Definitely friendly staff! Love there upgrades and variety of restaurants, shops and food. Security are kind and respectful.
