Gypsy Vegetarian Restaurant

Vegetarian restaurant
Gypsy Vegetarian Restaurant, located in a bustling market in Jodhpur, is renowned for its extensive Rajasthani thalis. The restaurant offers a lavish spread of local cuisine with true Rajasthani fare, including dishes like dal-bati, lal mass, churma, gatte ki sabzi, and more. Visitors can expect superb food, friendly service, and a cozy atmosphere at this popular eatery.
Lively, clean and welcoming vibe of good ol' Gypsy. I had heard about this place from friends and my wife, and it was every bit what I had imagined and more, in a good way. It's one of those dependable food joints or restaurants that you have in every city. Pure vegetarian food made with desi ghee and served with a smile. Staff is extremely courteous and well trained, and all the food preparations are made with the most fresh ingredients always. What really stood apart for me was their very good hygiene standards. Not very common in old restaurants to see absolutely clean washrooms and wash basin area. They have a smaller joint on the ground floor with parking for a couple of cars, and then a big hall upstairs for proper dining. Highly recommended for people craving for some authentic Rajasthani vegetarian cuisine.

The food is amazing if your love to eat unlimited they have options of thali but you want normal limted food they options too with limted price the quantity and quality was too good but order roti carefully there roti is too big and taste was good Must try item is -dal bati ,rajasthani thali and gujrati thali mix ,raj kachori, ker sangri
Shubham G — Google review
Flavours of Rajasthan under one roof and on one plate. Very well maintained restaurant with courteous staff. Both options of Authentic Thali or separate orders for other dishes are available. A unique experience and Gastronomical delight.
Bahzad R — Google review
Gypsy Vegetarian Restaurant in Jodhpur is one of the best places for anyone looking to experience authentic Indian vegetarian cuisine in a clean, welcoming family-friendly environment. I recently visited the restaurant and tried their famous Dal Baati—and I must say, it was absolutely delicious! The taste was rich, traditional, and perfectly spiced. The baatis were crispy yet soft inside, and the dal was full of flavor with a comforting home-style touch. The entire thali they serve is very satisfying and gives you a true taste of Rajasthani culture. The portion sizes are generous, and every item on the plate—from churma to gatte ki sabzi—was fresh and well-prepared. The service was fast and polite, and the staff was attentive and friendly, always ready to explain the dishes to tourists or first-time visitors. The restaurant itself is neat and well-organized, with a good ambiance that makes it a great place for families and groups. It’s a pure vegetarian restaurant, so it's ideal for those who follow a veg diet or want to enjoy Indian meals without worrying about non-veg options. They also maintain good hygiene, which is always a plus point. Gypsy truly gives you value for money and a satisfying dining experience. Whether you're a local or a tourist exploring Jodhpur, I highly recommend visiting Gypsy at least once for their amazing food and warm hospitality. I would definitely return again just for that unforgettable dal baati!
Puran K — Google review
Tried a Gypsy thali and puri with gatte ki sabji. The puri and the rest of the thali were delicious! The gatte ki sabji was a bit on the sweeter side for my taste, but overall, it was a good meal! 😊
Prasanna P — Google review
Out of 31 items, below tasted above average and rest all was tasteless and not value for money. 1. Bhindi curry 2. Aloo mutter tikki 3. Masala papad 4. Roti Yesterday I ate at Janta sweets, food there is just wow! For half the money.. Service was super slow and no interest to serve, no smile on face.
Umesh K — Google review
This is mine and my family's favourite restaurant to have food. Best in hygiene, Best in taste and quality of the food. Having food from here more than 10 years.
Gourish G — Google review
Very nice authentic Jodhpuri food. The thali is highly recommended. The Choorma was amazing. The staff are very respectful and discourage food wastage.

Janta Sweet Home

Indian sweets shop
Janta Sweet Home is a popular eatery in Jodhpur, known for its spacious and brightly lit ambiance. It offers a variety of multicuisine fare in a cheerful atmosphere. The place is famous for its regional delicacies such as mirchi bada, mawa kachori, ghevar, and rabri laddu. Additionally, it serves Indianized vegetarian versions of American-style fast food like pizzas and burgers.
My experience is purely based on the pyaz kachori. It is best pyaz kachori I have ate so far. It is tangy enough that it's the first kachori that I didn't felt the need of any chutney to enhance it's flavours. Definitely would visit again to try out some of their other food items.
Mohit N — Google review
Visited Janta Sweets near Jodhpur railway station and tried their Pyaaz Kachori, Bedmi Puri, Aloo Paratha, Makhaniya Lassi, Mango Lassi, and chai. Most items were average. The flavors felt muted compared to what we are used to in Delhi. The Makhaniya Lassi had a thick blob of sweetened raw butter with barely any actual lassi. The Mango Lassi tasted more like a mango shake, and even the chai was just okay. Service was a bit slow, though everything is made fresh. The place looks air-conditioned, but only air coolers were on. Staff was polite, and pricing is very reasonable. The highlight, however, was the jalebi; crisp, rich, and full of true desi ghee flavor. It stood out from the rest and felt genuinely special. Worth a stop if you are nearby, especially for the jalebi. Just go in with modest expectations for the rest.
Wali — Google review
Always a treat to visit this place. There is everything here for anyone who love food. Best to have here: Ghevar, kachoris. I tried Kabuli for the first time here, such small qty is not justified for 60₹ . Better to avoid.
D J — Google review
A very famous sweet shop in Jodhpur and it completely live up to its hype, very much budget friendly and also the food of this place is amazing. Mirchi Pakoda, Pyaaz Kachori and Jalebi is a must try. Highly recommended.
Snehil B — Google review
Don’t miss the Jalebi if you’re visiting this place—it was absolutely delicious! The crispiness, texture, and perfectly balanced sweetness, along with the saffron aroma, created a unique flavor. The innovative twist in its shape made it stand out from other Jalebis I’ve tried before. Definitely a must-try! As for the Mirchi Vada, it wasn't quite to my liking. It was served a bit cold, which made me wonder if it had been fried earlier in the day, so I’d recommend asking for it to be served hot and fresh when ordering. Additionally, I found the masala to be a little tangy and sour in flavor, and it lacked the spiciness and depth I was hoping for. Personally, it tasted a bit plain, but others might enjoy it depending on their preferences.
Husen T — Google review
Located near railway station Serves best local sweets and namkeen at reasonable price Full marks for Pyaj kachori(Ask them to prepare it there itself) Dining area available at 1st floor For tourists I will definitely recommend to visit this place
Satish M — Google review
We tried Jalebi made in ghee and Rabdi at Janta Sweet, Jodhpu. Both were excellent in taste — crispy jalebi, rich rabdi, and perfect sweetness. Totally worth trying!
PRADIP M — Google review
I recently visited this sweet shop, and honestly, it feels a bit overhyped. The sweets were just average in taste — not as great as expected based on the reviews and reputation. The presentation was nice, but the overall flavor and quality didn’t really stand out. It’s okay for a one-time visit, but there are definitely better options around. and the Mawa Kachori, which everyone seemed to recommend, was especially disappointing. It was soaked in too much sugar syrup, making it overly sweet and heavy. The presentation was fine, but the flavor didn’t live up to the hype. It’s okay for a one-time try,

Nestled in the vibrant heart of Jodhpur, The Recipe Restaurant is a delightful spot that perfectly blends comfort with elegance, making it a beloved choice for both locals and travelers. This contemporary multi-cuisine eatery boasts an extensive menu that caters to diverse palates, with standout dishes like rich butter chicken and spicy paneer tikka drawing in crowds. I want to give zero star to Very Pathetic service and worst food I ever eat please I suggest you to check natural review of the restaurant and then come they have there target audiences but If you are hungry and finding a good taste I suggest you too please don't come ever at this place they have a fake paid promotions on social media please don't come after seeing videos on social media taste is not good and services are worst I am also sharing pictures and videos now. I personally recommend you too please don't visit here after reading this.
Kunal G — Google review
I visited The Recipe Restaurant by Shri Ram Excellence Group. The ambiance was pleasant, and the food was fairly good with nice presentation. Unfortunately, the service was not up to the mark. We had to ask for water and wipes multiple times, but the waiter ignored us and prioritized other tables. We ordered Dal Makhani, but it arrived only after we had almost finished eating. The place has potential, but the service definitely needs improvement. Overall, if you're going just for the food and ambiance, it might be worth a visit. But if good service is important to you, this place may fall short.

Hello Everyone 🤗 Visited this restaurant with my friends for a get-together, Parking is spacious and Valet parking is available by the Restaurant. The Restaurant is not accessible ♿ for specially abled person as it is situated on the first floor. The dining is suffocating, the space is congested, so if you are going with your definitely there is a privacy concern, as anyone surrounding you can hear your conversation. The cutlery 🍴 were okay, but the dining 🍽️ were not good , plates were having odd design as if someone has left spots. The Staff were uniformer properly, but somewhere the hygienity was missing. As the one who were serving the food, simultaneously without washing the hands they were cleaning the table as well. The Water Glasses glass 🍷 were not clean as per the mark. The food was prepared very fast but the quantity was not justifing the prices. Like in Paneer Tikka, the Paneer was less but Tomato, Capsicum and Onion were more. The Butter Nan was chewy and was not soft. Sizzlers were mainly having cabbage 🥬 suppressing the quantity and many more.
Juned A — Google review
We used to visit this restaurant since inception, but it's service faded over the time and price of each n every item multiplied 3x in recent past. Everything is too much expensive which doesn't match with the quality, quantity ambience and over all family experience. It's like below normal any other restaurants in jodhpur but charging like extra premium or luxury restaurant. There are many many other good options in jodhpur which are premium as compared to pric, ambience n over all dining experience. On weekends its like eating on streets by paying in luxury or heritage restaurant... Will not recommend or will not go ever now......
Mayank J — Google review
Elegant interiors and Delicious food. Just a bit expensive other than that it's one of the best places for family dinners. Few of the main course dishes need improvement, everything else is good. We had SIZZLER, the presentation was beautiful and taste was also up to the mark. Also tried their KEBAB PLATTER which included assorted Tikkas and Kebabs with the side of green chutney. The staff is polite. 〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️ ❣️MUST TRY❣️ ✅ Oriental Sizzling Wok Sizzler 〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️ 🍔🍕🥪🍞🍩🍰🥧🧁🎂 👇🏻What I had???👇🏻 🍽️ ORIENTAL SIZZLING WOK SIZZLER 🍽️ HOUSE OF KEBAB AND TIKKA 〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️〰️ 💕Like and Follow if this was helpful.🥰
The B — Google review
Food, even sizzlers were not warm, food was ordinary in taste. service was slow, boys and girls were polite but lacked clarity in service operations, it was shocking to see that unhygienic melamine plastic bowls were placed for Daal and Gravy vegetables along with ceramic plates as seen in the picture. The restaurant management needs to pay urgent attention to the above points if they wish to live up to their name - Excellency.

Worst place to have food. They don’t respect and understand food requirements. Provided aloo in Jain food. Pathetic service

Risala

Mentioned on

Restaurant
Risala is an opulent fine-dining venue located at the Umaid Bhawan Palace in Jodhpur, offering a fusion of contemporary European and unique Indian dishes. The restaurant provides an elegant and formal dining experience with impeccable service, adorned with royal portraits and overlooking verdant gardens from its balcony. The extensive drinks menu includes internationally sourced wines, complementing the exquisite cuisine.
Best Rajasthani Food in Rajasthan India . truly Authentic taste and style
S C — Google review
The palace is known for its stunning architecture, a blend of Art Deco and Rajput styles. It is one of the world’s largest private residences and has been partially converted into a luxury hotel. The palace also houses the Umaid Bhawan Palace Museum, which showcases the history and heritage of the Jodhpur royal family. This restaurant offers a splendid dining experience, with a focus on Rajasthani and Indian cuisine, often prepared with a contemporary twist. While I don’t have access to real-time menus or specific details about the current offerings, you can expect a wide range of dishes, including local specialties and international cuisine, all served in a luxurious and elegant setting. The food at the Umaid Bhawan Palace is renowned for its quality and presentation, making it a memorable culinary experience for guests
Thowfik T — Google review
Went to Risala for our first anniversary dinner and the whole experience was fabulous. Left us spellbound. The restaurant is located inside the palace itself and it's recommended to make prior reservation. The place has a quiet ambience with soothing lightning and opera-ish music in the background. The staff is highly courteous and hospitable. The food and drinks menus are splendid as well covering indian and continental cuisines and a large variety of drinks - having some 'palace specialities' as well. A casual mention of the fact that it was our anniversary made them arrange a special cake for us. We were the last people to leave the restaurant so one of the waiters even gave us a tour of the palace - at least of the areas which were open. We absolutely LOVED the overall hospitality, ambience, food, drinks and the whole EXPERIENCE. Risala by Taj is thus HIGHLY recommended.
Himanshu R — Google review
Never Ever I imagined that a palace Umaid Bhavan tured hotel's restaurant RISALA will followed the British practice of discrimination especially a property that is managed by Taj group in India when the first hotel of Taj was built on the foundation where Indians are always welcomed. I called to book a slot for Maharaja Afternoon tea , the lady on the call responded that no slot is available today so I asked if on 30th August its possible then she asked it is for lunch? , I mentioned no, just for Afternoon tea, the lady in her polite voice asked do you have a room booking, i said no then she clearly mentioned that ONLY IN-HOUSE GUESTS CAN ENJOY THIS AFTERNOON TEA. As I'm not staying there, I'm not in a position to have tea there. I said kindly mention this on your website or the menu. DISCRIMINATION AT ITS BEST IN THESE MODERN TIMES.
Roshni R — Google review
Risala at Umaid Bhawan Palace has a royal ambience. The food and service was good. Breakfast was simply Superb!
Kshitij K — Google review
Outdoor restaurant located inside Umaid Bhavan palace. It has Pleasant feeling when it is light breezy and light cold atmosphere. In summer you would not enjoy it.
Smita J — Google review
Unfortunately, we did not manage to have dinner at Risala. Despite making our booking through the Google "reserve a table" service, when calling on the day to confirm, they claimed they have no control over or receive any information from that service, and therefore, there was no reservation to be had. It seems like a good restaurant in a great location. Perhaps some more care for their Internet presence (one of their contact numbers on their website seems to no longer be operating) and customer service would be of benefit.

Asian fusion restaurant
On The Rocks is a sophisticated restaurant located near Ajit Bhawan in the Blue City of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. It offers a fine dining experience with a menu featuring food from across Asia. The restaurant's artistic wooden chairs and European style fine dining environment create an aesthetic and comfortable ambiance. Guests can enjoy experimental gourmet dishes that present traditional recipes to gourmet perfection while curated music plays softly in the background.
🥃 Pretty place with a fine dine experience. You plan to visit with your family, friends or colleagues. The crowd is mix of all that I have mentioned. I would recommend you to book during weekends as there are multiple seatings. Avg cost of LIIT @ 750. POSITIVES: - Multiple seating setups - Great vibe - Mix crowd - Descent food - Cosy indoor seating
Ayaan K — Google review
On The Rocks is truly one of the finest places I’ve ever visited. From the service, location, and food to the smallest details, everything here is simply outstanding. The restaurant, bar, and atmosphere together create an experience that feels complete and memorable. What makes it stand out is the old, aesthetic vibe – timeless, classy, and full of character. Definitely one of those places you’d want to visit again and again.
Digvijay J — Google review
I recently visited On The Rocks, Jodhpur, and had an amazing experience! The ambiance is beautiful a perfect mix of charm and a modern vibe. The staff is courteous, service is quick, and the food is delicious. As a vegetarian, I loved their Pan-Asian dishes especially the Pad Thai noodles, wontons, and sushi. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly presented. A must-visit spot in Jodhpur for great food, lovely atmosphere, and top-notch service!
Vatsal M — Google review
I came to this place because it’s definitely a must visit. I saw so many great recommendations. When I ordered, there was a bit of a language barrier with the server, and my order was misunderstood. I repeated it and even showed photos to another server of what I wanted. They brought my food along with an extra dish I didn’t order. It seemed like a genuine misunderstanding due to the language issue, but unfortunately, I had to speak to a third server to clarify. I then overheard the staff explaining the situation to a manager, and it felt uncomfortable and a bit unpleasant. I can tell the servers weren’t very happy and I am sorry about it. In the end, I decided to take my food to go and I left. I would suggest having a server with a stronger level of English for tourists.
Daniel N — Google review
One time visit i say . Near Ajith Bhavan circuit house. But non veg not good as hype ! Almost everything is exceptional, the vibe, food, property and welcoming behaviour of the staff. The staff though was helpful and polite and they replaced the glass and spoon when I let them know about it. Other than this issue, I like everything about this place. I would recommend visiting this place for both lunch and dinner as it has a completely different vibe during morning and night. They also have an amazing bar. It's almost impossible to explain the vibe of it. You'll get to know it when you visit.
Praveen U — Google review
On The Rocks in Jodhpur has amazing ambience with both open and indoor seating. The entrance waterfall is very attractive and sets a nice vibe. The open area is lively while the indoor area feels cozy and private. Food is tasty, service is good, and overall it’s a must-visit place in Jodhpur.
Daxesh P — Google review
We went to this place as per suggestion of a friend who is based in Jodhpur.Since it was a summer afternoon we opted for an indoor sitting. We tried Indian as well as Italian cuisine. We tried Panchmel subzi which is more like a mix veg along with butter roti and missi roti. You may find subzi little on spicier side, it makes sense to inform the staff in advance if you do not prefer spicy food. We also tried honey chilly potato and chicken penne pasta. Both the items were good but honey chilly potato also slightly spicy especially for children. Fresh lime soda was on sweeter side and sugar syrup was overpowering the overall blend. Staff here is helpful and cordial.
Supriya D — Google review
On The Rocks in Jodhpur is a perfect blend of a relaxed, inviting atmosphere and exceptional dining. Located in a convenient area with plenty of parking, it’s easy to enjoy a visit without worrying about finding a spot. The vibe of the restaurant is simple yet stylish, with a cozy and laid-back ambiance that makes it ideal for both casual meals and special nights out. The menu offers a great variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian dishes, catering to a wide range of tastes. The flavors are rich and well-balanced, and every dish feels carefully crafted to delight the palate. Their dal baati churma and vegetable curries are perfect for those craving traditional Rajasthani fare. One of the standout features of On The Rocks is its impressive bar area. The cocktails are expertly mixed, and the mocktail selection is equally refreshing. Whether you prefer a classic drink or something more creative, the bar offers a range of options to suit your mood. The staff here is exceptionally professional and incredibly polite, adding a personal touch to your dining experience. They are always on hand to ensure that everything runs smoothly and provide helpful recommendations, making the service feel both attentive and warm. It’s worth noting that On The Rocks does include a service charge, but given the quality of food, drinks, and service, it feels well-deserved. Overall, On The Rocks is a must-visit in Jodhpur for anyone looking to enjoy a fantastic meal in a relaxed environment, with excellent service and a great selection of drinks. Whether you're stopping by for dinner, a drink, or just a casual hangout, it offers a memorable experience every time.

Shahi Samosa Arora Namkeen

Mentioned on

Snack bar
When in Jodhpur, a visit to Shahi Samosa Arora Namkeen is an absolute must for any food lover. This iconic street food spot pays homage to the city's royal heritage with its delectable samosas, which are inspired by the majestic forts of Jodhpur. The shahi samosa is not just your average snack; it boasts a rich filling of potatoes, onions, and spices complemented by cashews and nuts that elevate its flavor profile to something truly regal.
I have never seen such a confident Samosa seller. They sell Samosa without Chatni or Sauce. Samosa is really tasty and crispy in nature. Along with Samosa u can try Mirchi bada and Pyaz Kachori. It is a super crowded place in market. They also serve Lassi which haven't tried. They 4 to 5 variants in lassi starting from Rs. 40. Samosa and Mirchi Bada costs Rs. 25 each Pl be careful of ur luggage and belongings as place is with lotnof rush and kiosk.
Sagar K — Google review
Tried Shahi Samosa near Ghantaghar and it definitely lives up to its name! The samosas were crispy, fresh, and really tasty. The potato filling is quite similar to what they use in their other snacks like mirchi vada, but it still works perfectly inside the samosa. Overall, the flavor was great and the texture spot on, crisp outside and flavorful inside. A must-try if you’re visiting Jodhpur!
Shubham J — Google review
This outlet is near Clock Tower. It is located in a bustling local market. Samosa offered here is crisp and tasty. Filling of samosa has a tinge of lemon which makes it unique. Mirchi Bada and Pyaj Kachori is also very famous here. Kachori too is crisp and tasty. After eating these namkeens you can relish lassi which is thick and nicely sweet. You have to stand and eat here or pack it for home.
Supriya D — Google review
Shahi Samosa in Jodhpur is very famous and always crowded for their samosa and mirchi vada. But honestly, as a Gujarati, I didn’t enjoy it much. The samosa has salty masala stuffing without chutney, and instead they serve it with bread, which felt unusual for me. Personally, I didn’t like the taste, but you’ll still see a big crowd here as it’s a popular local spot.
Daxesh P — Google review
Just tried the famous Shahi Samosa in Jodhpur and it totally lived up to its name! The samosa was perfectly crisp, stuffed with flavorful aloo and loaded with cashews — a real royal touch. Jaisa naam waise kaam, Shahi Samosa is truly shahi in taste! Must try when in Jodhpur.

Tried the Pyaaz Kachori and Mirchi Bada at Shahi Samosa, Jodhpur. The taste was moderate and a bit spicy, not too overwhelming. The samosas and snacks are fresh and flavorful, making it a decent place for a quick snack while exploring the city.
Aniket P — Google review
The samosa was nice, but the famous Mirchi Vada was undercooked and disappointing. The place was EXTREMELY crowded, making it hard to find a spot or enjoy comfortably. Overall, decent taste but not worth the hype.

For Samosa Lover this place must visit in Jodhpur near Ghantaghar. Taste is good but keep in mind you have to eat on roadside as seating option not available. Also enjoyed "Mirchi Vada" along with "Shahi Samosa". If you are Street food lover must visit this palce.

Indian sweets shop
Shri Mishrilal Hotel is a beloved sweet shop and cafe located near the Southern Gate of Jodhpur, Rajasthan. It's renowned for its Makhaniya Lassi, a creamy and flavorful drink that attracts both locals and tourists. The shop offers an array of traditional treats including sweets, pakoras, snacks, and namkeens.
Grabbed a takeaway from this iconic little shop near the Clock Tower. The lassi was super thick and creamy – just perfect. Tried the strawberry lassi too, really refreshing. The rabri was rich and absolutely delicious. Super busy place, but totally worth stopping by. Quick service even with the crowd!
Priyanka B — Google review
Do not miss this place if you are Jodhpur. Shri Mishrilal Hotel is located very close to Ghanta Ghar or clock tower. This 90 year old shop is famous for its Makhaniya lassi and rabdi. We tried Makhaniya lassi (Rs. 50) and Dal ka halwa (Rs. 60). Other items like Gulab jamun, pede, kachori, kalakand, sohan ka halwa, Besan chikki etc are served. The place is always crowded but the service is super fast. Pocket friendly place. During my three days stay, I visited this place twice. It's must visit place for lassi lovers.
Lakshmi B — Google review
Makhaniya Lassi in Jodhpur is definitely an experience. It’s super thick, creamy, and almost feels like eating shrikhand rather than drinking lassi. If you’ve had lassi in Punjab or Delhi, this might surprise you because it’s a little sour and much heavier. Honestly, it wasn’t really my taste since I prefer the smooth, drinkable style of lassi but I can see why locals love it. Maybe it’s the weather or the desert conditions here that make this version so popular. Still, worth trying once for the unique Jodhpur twist, even if it’s not the kind of lassi I’d usually go for.
Eddy S — Google review
The place is in conjugated place. So much traffic. However, the lassi taste was good. We tried their makkan and mango lassi. Both were amazing. Please go by walk if you want a peaceful experience
Aravind R — Google review
Visited Shri Mishrilal Hotel near the Clock Tower, one of the most popular spots in Jodhpur, especially known for its Makhaniya Lassi. The lassi was thick, creamy, and rich in flavor, definitely refreshing on a hot day. However, it’s very sweet, a bit too sugary for my taste, so those who prefer less sweetness might find it a little heavy. Still, it’s a must-try experience given its fame and the number of visitors and celebrities who’ve stopped by. Perfect if you’re looking for a classic Jodhpur treat and a quick sugar boost!
Shubham J — Google review
Service has really gone down. We politely asked for a disposable spoon but the waiter brought it in his hand, then unnecessarily changed the whole glass and spoon. Gurunanak Lassi Olympic is much better.
Arsalan C — Google review
Tried the kesar pista, strawberry and mango lassi. Loved the strawberry and kesar pista flavours. It was so thick and filling. There were so many strands of saffron in the kesar pista lassi. All of them were sealed cups. You can carry them home and drink it the same day.

Continental restaurant
Indique Restaurant & Bar is a rooftop dining spot situated in the Pal Haveli hotel, offering breathtaking views of the castle, Umaid Bhawan Palace, and the Clock Tower. The restaurant features a romantic ambiance and serves a menu filled with Northern Indian cuisine options such as tandoori dishes, biryani, buttered chicken, and rogan josh. Additionally, there are some continental and Chinese food choices available.
Amazing service and even more amazing view!!! We have very low tolerance towards spicy hot food and the servers were brilliant with their recommendations. Must try the appetizers, our favorite was the Indian sweet platter. Thank you for a lovely evening

If you are visiting the older parts of Jodhpur City, this restaurant is highly recommended. Fine dining, rooftop experience with a Maharangar Fort view. Great for trying out local, veg / non vegetarian cuisines. I also stayed at their BNB... Pal Haveli Inn that's also fantastic. Has the old word charm of Royal elegance.

Friendly and charming staff who showed us to a table with a not very good view of the fort with a promise to move when a further table became available. A promise that they kept. Had cold beer and cocktails - the old fashioned was good but a pretty short measure frankly. We had laal maans, veg rice and some breads. It was a lovely evening and chilled on top of the roof. Highly recommended. Not the cheapest but it does what it says on the tin.

This restaurant is highly recommended if you are visiting Jodhpur. Fine dining, rooftop experience with the view of Mehrangarh Fort on one side and Ghanta Ghar on the other side this place looks magical. Food is also very nice, there is good range of food and drinks.

Jodhpur is one town full of culture and traditions. We can call it Maharaja city of Rajasthan. Indique is one of the most memorable moment in the trip. We were suggested this place and it was more than we expected.  Best time to visit the restaurant is evening after 630 pm and best place to sit is rooftop. On one side is Ghanta Ghar, other side fountain and backdrop is Mehrangarh Fort. The food was awesome,  we started with Chicken Tikka, tender and just the best of spices  and ended with Lal Maas and Bajra roti, absolutely authentic.  Our server Mr. Harchand Ram took well care. Later we wished to speak to the chief chef. Mr. Vishal Gautam was extremely pleasant personality to speak to. He shared few secrets which made their food best in town. Hats off to Vishal who prepares the best food in Jodhpur.  Whenever you are visiting this town,  never miss it, its mesmerizing. The best of view and the best of food in town.

Excellent food and service with a great view of the Mehrangarh fort. It’s like the Parthenon of India! Really worth a visit.

The Atmosphere was great but is also available in any other Rooftop Restaurant in the City. Still we enjoyed the sunset there with a drink in our hand. The Service was nice and polite but very slow and seemed unorganised with many different waiters serving us, which led to a confusion in our order. When the sunlight went away at some point, the rooftop terrace was also dark and the staff was not prepared fast enough, so we had to check our menu with our phone flashlight and later got a small cheap table lamp. The food was okay at best and overpriced. We ordered a Paneer Lababdar and is was poor in taste, more fat than anything and the Naan was not properly baked as well as the Paratha. The portions were comparatively small to other restaurant we stayed with a similiar price range. In conclusion, the restaurant seems overhyped and to be using the advantage of previous positive ratings. Would maybe check other restaurants beforehand.

Hari Vedas' Jodhpur

Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Jodhpur, Hari Vedas is a delightful vegetarian restaurant that offers an extensive array of cuisines, including Gujarati, North Indian, Punjabi, European, Chinese, and more. With its inviting open-air setting and casual indoor seating options, it creates a perfect atmosphere for enjoying meals with friends and family. The restaurant prides itself on using fresh ingredients sourced locally to enhance the flavors of each dish.
"The food was so delicious and the service was really great, too!" or "The PANIR TIKA was so yummy and I ate the whole thing" "The service at HARI VEDAS is top-notch!" or "The staff here truly cares about their guests"

Rating: ★★★☆☆ (3/5) Visited Hari Vedas recently. The place has a clean and simple setup—comfortable enough for a casual meal, though nothing particularly stood out. Service was okay. Staff were polite, but things moved a bit slow. We had to follow up on water and sides, even though it wasn’t very crowded. I ordered the Malai kofta. It looked nice and the portion was good, but the taste was just average. Not bad, but not something I’d come back for either. Overall, it’s the kind of spot that’s fine if you’re already in the area and want a quick meal. Probably wouldn’t go out of my way to return, but not a bad option if you’re nearby.
Puja D — Google review
Hari Vedas, a well-known dining spot in Jodhpur, left much to be desired during out recent visit. While the location is decent, parking is a hassle with limited spaces available on the road. Restroom found to be extremely dirty - a clear red flag for any establishment. The service was disappointingly poor, marked by a lack of attentiveness. The starters, which we had been looking forward to, fell far short of expectations in both quality and presentation so as the buffet dinner. Despite repeated requests, the staff couldn’t manage to serve them on time, and they only arrived a few minutes before the main course—hardly ideal pacing for a meal. The dining hall itself was in dire need of a thorough cleaning, and the situation wasn’t helped by the kitchen being located within the same space. The constant movement of supplies from the kitchen to the restaurant below created an additional nuisance, disrupting what should have been a pleasant dining experience. Even the manager on duty seemed helpless to address these issues, which speaks volumes about the management’s oversight. In nutshell: from cleanliness to service to the food itself, it failed to live up to its name.

I had buffet (dinner) for Rs.529/- Everything was good but paneer tikka jodhpuri and pesto was not up to the mark. Cauliflower Manchurian and pina colada drink was very good. Hakka noodles was normal. Main course bhi bdhiyaa thaa!! Overall, sb kuchh was okayy okayy. Would recommend this.
Tanu S — Google review
Food at this restaurant was good and flavorful, but the quantity felt too small for the price. The ambiance is nice, and the staff was polite and attentive. Overall, a decent place to try, though the portions could be more generous for the cost.
Aniket P — Google review
The food options were good with all types of popular cuisine, but they were not able to cook basic tomato soup . The service was slow , need to ask several times. Overall decent place for a family dinner. They have buffet option as well and an enclosed space for private dinner with 15 people capacity.

Owner is lovely and likes to keep a nice calm feel in the cafe. Food was very affordable but takes some time due to being all done by the owner. Perfect place to chill out if your not in a rush

Jodhpur Airport, previously exclusive to the military, is now open to all travelers. Despite its small size and limited seating, it offers a convenient location just 5-10 minutes from the city center. While waiting for a flight or arriving in Jodhpur, visitors can explore nearby attractions such as Chimney Restaurant for a meal. The airport's proximity to the city makes it easy for tourists to access popular destinations and hotels in Jodhpur.
With IAF base, Jodhpur airport is a small and cozy airport in Rajasthan. This airport has very little option of shops inside, so it is better to carry your food options with you. You can check only 2 options of snacks counter here. Unable to post more pictures as was not allowed to click as per instruction by AAI. This airport is operated by the Airports Authority of India (AAI) and shares its airside with the Jodhpur Air Force Station of the Indian Air Force.

Domestic airport - it’s small but all instructions seem clear. Toilet, shops, and cafes facilities in both land and air sides. Virtually no queue for check-in & bag drop, and security check. It’s good!
Cherie M — Google review
Nice n small airport, sufficient for a single flight every couple of hours. Just sit in the waiting area, and view as life goes by. Reasonably priced stalls
Nprashant N — Google review
Jodhpur airport has very poor management in terms of boarding and security check-in, with no proper system in place. The ladies’ restroom was extremely disappointing — there were no basic amenities at all, not even toilet paper, which is a basic hygiene requirement. While tissue paper can be optional, toilet paper is absolutely essential, especially considering many international travelers visit Jodhpur. Such conditions leave a poor impression of the city. The airport urgently needs to improve its facilities and hygiene standards.
Prachi K — Google review
I have been to Jodhpur airport a few times in the last 15 years. It is a congested small sized airport. It uses the runway of the Indian Military. There are just 2 gates to service the boarding of the flights. In my recent visit I saw a new airport getting constructed nearby and hopefully it will be better. The pre paid taxi charges exorbitant rates. There is a disconnect between what the cab driver quotes and what app based taxi services show on the mobile screen when you book a cab online. I prefer walking out of airport and hiring an auto rickshaw after some negotiation. Being a small sized airport there are very few outlets within the airport premise.
Indian F — Google review
Dear Foreign Visitors, Welcome to Jodhpur Airport — the perfect irony of India. On one side stands a King and his grand palace flaunting obscene luxury; on the other, this chaotic excuse for an airport. A place so cramped that security, gate, and shops fight for the same square foot of air. The toilets here are downgraded to the lowest imaginable level — a disgrace for any place calling itself an “airport.” It’s less of an airport, more of a badly managed bus stop with a runway. Utter nonsense. I would request you all to not pay extra premium to tourist places here. And Dear Jodhpur government, Shame on you.
Priyesh S — Google review
Jodhpur airport is a small airport just 5km from Jodhpur city. It's a part of airforce base, so partially run by IAF and AAI. Has only one runway. It has all basic amenities.Nothing extravagant. Has only 2 or 3 boarding gates, so if there is 2 flights, it's quite congested. But all basic facilities are there. Coffee shops, small souvenir shops etc etc Bathrooms, toilets, feeding rooms are all clean, and maxm well maintained. So it's a small domestic airport with basic facilities.
