Umbrella's Beach Bar

$$$$affordable
Bar
Restaurant
Umbrella's Beach Bar is a hidden gem on Grand Anse Beach in Grenada, run by a group of women serving up delicious Grenadian food just like their moms and grandmoms taught them. This relaxed bar offers a variety of dishes from light sandwiches to creative twists on local cuisine, with an emphasis on fresh seafood and locally-sourced ingredients. The quality of the food here rivals that of upscale restaurants, despite its casual beach bar setting.
Seating on the top floor is the best cause you get a good view of the ocean. Their shrimp tacos were delicious. But the Carib Jab wings took the cake. They were 10 out of 10. My husband says they’re the best wings he’s ever had and that’s saying ALOT. We love this place.
Janessa W — Google review
Stopped by this beachside bar for food and drinks. The location is great, but the service and food leave a lot to be desired. Drinks were actually really good, but they took 20–30 minutes to arrive. As for the food, it took about 1 hour and 20 minutes after ordering, and it wasn’t worth the wait. I tried the grilled fish with golden fries—the worst fish and fries I’ve ever had. Dry, cold, and completely disappointing. Service was slow, and the waiter wasn’t attentive at all. It seemed like everyone around was struggling to get their orders or just waiting forever. To top it off, a 15% service charge was already included in the bill. The view is nice, but honestly, you’re better off skipping this place.
Jun S — Google review
Great affordable place to eat. Very popular so be prepared for a wait for food! The food is great and generous portions.
K T — Google review
Umbrella's is a must visit. The staff are super friendly, the ambience is amazing. It's right on the beach so you can enjoy the view while you eat.
Marissa M — Google review
We love umbrella and visited 3 times when we were in Grenada. It’s one of our favorite place to eat. My kids and I are obsessed with the nutmeg ice cream!!!
Rara V — Google review
Great experience. Love coming here when in the area. Food and drinks are delicious and well priced.
Yas M — Google review
Cozy place to share with friends, if you are looking to have fun with live music, this is the right place, the service is super good although very slow, it is also a place with great demand ,The food is delicious, very well prepared dishes and super fancy. I would definitely go again and again .9/10 but only because the service is delayed ok
Ambell D — Google review
Lovely seating upstairs. Good view and airy. Very polite and helpful staff. A lot of choices. The cheesy cod fishcakes and blackened chicken breast with sides were very well tasting. Decent wine prices to be in Caribbean. We will surely come back.

Aquarium

Restaurant
The Aquarium restaurant, located on Magazine Beach in Grenada, offers a diverse menu featuring fresh seafood, grilled lobster, jerk chicken, and callaloo cannelloni. The dining experience ranges from casual lunches to fine dining with international dishes influenced by Caribbean flavors. Visitors can enjoy their meals on the waterfront deck at La Sirena Beach Bar while surrounded by tropical plants and palms. Additionally, the restaurant hosts a Sunday barbecue featuring lobster, jumbo shrimp skewers, and jerk chicken breast.
What an amazing setting. Set right under the cliff, looking out across the beach. Great service, lovely food. We had the pumpkin soup, bruschetta, catch of the day, and jerk chicken. Will definitely go back. Well we have been back, this time for lunch! Had the best salad, it was ridiculous! I had the Aqarium house salad with chicken and my husband had his with fish. The honey mustard dressing is delicious! Just stunning.
K T — Google review
We went twice to this place. Sunday a was bbq - a bit crowded but very delicious lobster 🦞. During the week is quiet and we set outside with beautiful view of the sea. Great food ! Cocktails are also great 👍🏿
Viktoriya B — Google review
The food is always yummy. The views and aesthetic are breathtaking! I think the staff does an amazing job, especially during peak hours.
N. — Google review
The setting is amazing, right on the beach, sunset there was great. Went for Sunday BBQ and it was delicious. The drinks were high class and tasty. Service was ok, but the best we had in Grenada. To be honest it’s the island. It been my experience that customer service is lacking in the island as a whole. Plan on going back again for sure.
Bezawit T — Google review
The first look of this restaurant is very pleasing. It is beautiful designed loved hearing the sounds of the waves. Food took a little while to come out but it was very delicious and tasty. Service seemed a little like I was a bother. Maybe because it was late I am not sure. I dont know if I wasnt fully heard but had to request my drink from the bartender because one drink was never put in. The one thing that really upset me was that it was getting close to closing and the young lady came around and just started picking up the extra cutlery. No warning, no asking is this okay. Then proceeds to reach between my main dish and side dish to get cutlery. I really didnt appreciate that. She could have simply asked is it okay to collect the cutlery and my table could have gathered it and given it to her ourselves. It made me feel very rushed and like I was being pushed out. We were not the last tables either so there was no need for that rude behavior.
Natasha P — Google review
A very difficult restaurant to review. It is clear that the intention is for this to be a truly high quality restaurant. The food quality being the centrepiece as it should be. And yes the quality is very very good. We had the mussels and seared tuna which were truly exceptional and highly recommended. The grilled mahi mahi was also very good. But an excellent restaurant is not just the food…the customer experience and service offered is equally important. And it’s here that Aquarium lets itself down and fails to meet its ambitions. First is a minor issue but not insignificant. The signage letting first time customers know where the restaurant parking is would be very helpful. We parked in the parking lot by the sign saying Aquarium. Unfortunately that was quite far from the restaurant which was down a very steep incline and it took some searching through someone’s residence to get to the restaurant. A simple arrow at the sign would have been useful. Second the hostess greeting us was far from welcoming. We felt like we were imposing although we had a reservation and were left without words to unceremoniously wait then instructed to come some time after. The wait staff were also not trained to a level commensurate with food quality, the price point and the ambiance. The good news is that the negatives are very fixable and if fixed then this would be truly a five star restaurant.
Christopher C — Google review
If you're looking for a great spot to eat near the water with a stunning view, this place is a must-visit. The food was absolutely amazing – I highly recommend the Sirloin Steak, cooked to perfection and full of flavor. This restaurant definitely leans on the bougie side, but you get what you pay for. The ambiance, service, and quality of food all match the upscale vibe. One thing to note: prices vary depending on whether you’re paying in local currency or USD, but both are listed clearly on the menu which makes it easy to plan ahead. Whether you're celebrating something special or just want to treat yourself, this is a top-tier choice in the area.

Went with a party of 7 for dinner on Sept 02, 2025. Lovely location, beautiful beachfront property but the table where we were seated was hot, hot, you could not enjoy the food which by the way was very bland and without taste. There were no fans above our table, and everyone was complaining, I asked for a fan to be put close by but there was none. The meal was pricey but not worth it especially with the heat, you could not enjoy it.

True Blue Bay Boutique Resort

Resort hotel
Bar
True Blue Bay Boutique Resort is a vibrant and eco-friendly retreat that offers island-chic accommodations with bay-view terraces, perfect for families. The resort features children's play areas, water sports, and a colorful pool area with a slide. Grown-ups can unwind at the spa or enjoy yoga classes while sipping cocktails. Guests can also enjoy free breakfast and take advantage of the beach shuttle service.
We stayed at True Blue Bay for a four days and we had the most amazing time. They have a shuttle that leaves for Grand Anse daily and the Wednesday nigh food event is absolutely brilliant. The rooms are spacious and the AC does keep you cool the entire time. It is well located and I felt safe in the area it was located at. I really enjoyed it there.

We recently stayed at True Blue Bay Hotel and had a mostly wonderful experience. **Pros:** - **Friendly Staff**: From the moment we arrived, the warm and friendly staff welcomed us at the airport and made us feel at home. - **Relaxed Atmosphere**: The hotel has a nice, relaxed atmosphere that was perfect for unwinding. - **Spacious Villa**: Our villa was incredibly spacious, providing plenty of room for our family to spread out and enjoy our stay. - **Kid-Friendly Pool**: The pool area was fantastic for our kids, who loved spending time splashing around. **Cons:** - **Evening Restaurant Service**: Unfortunately, our experience with the restaurant staff during evening dinners was not great. The service was slow, and the staff seemed not very service-minded. The food took forever to arrive, which was disappointing. - **High Prices**: As expected in Grenada, the prices for accommodation and food and beverages were quite high. This seems to be a common issue across the island. Overall, our stay was enjoyable, thanks to the friendly and accommodating staff and the lovely hotel amenities. We hope that the restaurant service will improve in the future.

Staying at True Blue Bay Resort was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed not just as guests—but as extended family. The vibrant colors, eco-conscious design, and breezy Caribbean charm made every corner of the resort feel alive with soul and intention. What truly sets True Blue Bay apart, though, are its owners—Russ and Magdalena. Their warmth, presence, and commitment to the community are woven into every part of the experience. You can feel their care in the details: the locally sourced meals, the sustainability efforts, the smiling team that treats you like more than a booking. The rooms are stunning—bright, spacious, and thoughtfully curated with island-inspired art and natural textures. The pools are pristine, the yoga deck overlooks the bay, and the on-site dive center makes exploring Grenada’s waters effortless and exhilarating. But above all, it’s the energy of the place—uplifting, welcoming, and deeply human—that makes True Blue Bay Resort unforgettable. It’s not just a resort; it’s a homegrown gem that reminds you of what travel should feel like: authentic, joyful, and full of heart. Five stars is not enough. Can’t wait to return.

My daughter absolutely loved her stay at this pet-friendly resort. The staff were exceptionally hospitable and welcoming, and the convenient location made everything very easy. She particularly enjoyed the food—and now I may truly have to get her a “baby puppy and a baby kitten”. Lol.

Ive stay at the true blue for a few days with my family . Our driver tavon was amazing very helpful the bartender tevon was great good customer service . Some of the staff by dodgy docks were not welcoming at all . One night we had order 3 fish sandwiches i also died eating the sandwich due to the bones in the fish . The supervisor came to our home didnt seem to plesent we were then refunded for the sandwiches the housekeeper lady was not plesent at all she wanted me to go for all the towels from in the bathroom that were dirty ... which i think thats her job not mines im here on holiday not to work.... the lovely supervisor who does the hour free rum punch with cake etc cant remember her name she is wonderful yall should promote her to the manager ... i think so of the staff needs customer serivce training .. especially in the industry you should always be customer friendly . Thanks to Renee for making sure my food orders where done correctly . Sad to say i will never return to true blue after this terrible experience & not a manager / supervisor seemed to cared !

I liked this place better before. I stayed here end of June. I was unlucky to miss my flight, contacted the hotel to see if I would be able to push my stay for 1 day later. The new management said no, so I lost a night. I would have stayed 3 more nights but went elsewhere. I like the breakfast. Wish they had more local options. On Caribbean vacation I don’t want the usual pancakes. Ms Ester made bakes one morning and it was truly the best breakfast.

I don’t usually write reviews, but I felt compelled to after my experience at True Blue Bay Resort in Grenada. I arrived ahead of my husband and kids for my sister’s wedding and chose this resort because of its location close to her home. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome. Without hesitation, they gave me a tour of the property, and I immediately decided to book my stay. The booking process was quick and easy, and it set the tone for everything that followed. The girls at the front desk were absolute sweethearts! The room was clean, comfortable, and well kept. A bit on the older side but they’re working on it (renovations in progress on the property). Breakfast was included in our stay, and it was absolutely delicious every single morning. What really stood out, though, was the staff. Every single person; from the front desk to the chefs, the bartender by the pool, and even the manager (I think), was warm, kind, and helpful. One of the highlights for my kids was when the manager personally helped them rescue a turtle that had flipped over on to its back. That small act speaks volumes about the care and attentiveness of the team. As someone from another Caribbean island with a strong accent, I’ve unfortunately experienced hospitality that felt less enthusiastic when compared to how tourists from larger countries are treated. But that was not the case at True Blue Bay. The staff treated every guest with equal kindness and attention. It was genuine and consistent and it made me feel completely at home. True Blue Bay Resort offers more than just beautiful views and good food, they offer heart, authenticity, and service that goes above and beyond. That kind of hospitality is rare and, in my opinion, worth more than any five star rating. Highly recommended. I’ll definitely be back.

Sails Restaurant & Bar

Mentioned on

Seafood restaurant
Sails Restaurant & Bar is a popular dining spot located on the picturesque waters of one of Grenada's renowned harbors. The head chef is celebrated for crafting a diverse menu featuring international dishes with a Caribbean twist. From garlic shrimp skewers to flame-grilled lobster, the extensive menu offers an array of delectable options. Guests can savor their meals while taking in the stunning views and then explore the local shops and cafes around the harbor's edge.
The place is nicely located at the waterfront of the harbor and offers a spreading view till Grand Anse Beach. The friendly and helpful waitress explained the local specialties and recommended the Calypso Conch which was fantastic as it was the first time I ate it. I took the very delicious coconut shrimps as appetizer. The IPA from the tab is rich in taste. As dessert I chose espresso with a shot of local rum. Unfortunately my stomach could not take more of this first class food. All in all Sails was a very good experience and absolutely worth to join again. Thanks a lot to the entire staff.

Beautiful scenery. Great food. Service was phenomenal. The atmosphere in the water was beautiful. I felt safe and comfortable. Let me add that the restroom was beautiful and clean.

Both the food and drinks were delicious. The entire team was excellent. Amazing view and atmosphere.

Wonderful experience for dinner. We sat by the water and enjoyed a couple hours with 5 star meals clearly crafted by a chef, and not just a cook. Every item our table of 4 had could have been considered fine dining at any well known restaurant. Will 10/10 recommend eating here. So much that we have decided we will be back tomorrow for lunch!

Local soup was great. Beers were cold. Main course of fresh caught tuna blackened with roasted potatoes was really nice. Overall would recommend and go back.

Amazing spot love, sauce side can be added to some items like wraps or burgers without an additional charge, or ask if the item should be made with extra sauce. Aside from thar very clean espically the rest rooms.

We had a fantastic meal at Sails during our time in Grenada. The food was excellent—fresh, flavourful, and beautifully presented. The standout dish for us was the seafood crepe, which was absolutely delicious and perfectly prepared. Service was equally impressive. Our waitress was lovely—warm, attentive, and clearly well trained. She made us feel genuinely welcome and took great care of us throughout the meal. Overall, Sails delivered a wonderful dining experience. Highly recommend it if you’re in Grenada and looking for great food and service in a beautiful waterfront location.

Beautiful restaurant right at St George’s Harbour. One dish I can recommend everyone to try is the lobster. Can’t remember the exact name but it’s one of two lobster dishes and the other is a wrap/roll. A bit pricey but guaranteed to satisfy you. Similarly to almost anywhere in Grenada, servers and polite and attentive. A must visit if you’re in St George’s. Saturdays, Sundays and Mondays tend to be the busiest days.

Caribbean restaurant
Restaurant
This caribbean restaurant Patrick's Local Homestyle Cooking Restaurant has a wide variety of dishes to choose from, all made with fresh and quality ingredients. There's something for everyone on the menu, making it a great place to dine with friends. Plus, there are some vegan options available for those who prefer not to eat meat.
Came here twice in the 4 days I was on the island. The first time I visited, the restaurant was extremely busy so the owner/chef ask if it would be ok to come back in an hour. When I returned I had a delicious meal of rice & peas and several vegetable side dishes. I went back 2 days later to try the vegan oil down (which isn't a daily menu item) and I was surprised to find the restaurant empty. Again the food was tasty and there was a good portion size.

I was happy to eat at this restaurant. I've heard good reviews, but it was my first time eating there. The menu is a true reflection of Grenada's home style cooking. A dear luv of mine was visiting from the UK and recommended that we had lunch at this restaurant. The meal was enjoyable and the sorrel drink was very delicious.
Ruthmeli C — Google review
I visited this location twice on my recent visit to Grenada. You can certainly tell the chef takes their craft seriously from the flavor and freshness of the dishes. I had the pleasure of trying the oil down which I have no complaints about. The rum punch was strong but definitely worth trying.

I've had breakfast, lunch, and dinner here. The family is incredibly hospitable and friendly. The food is authentic and made from scratch, so be patient and enjoy your drink while your meal is being cooked. I highly recommend their rum punch and Grenadine dishes. Be nice to them, tip them well, and thank them for accepting credit cards. Enjoy!

Second visit was 50EC for lambi We ordered the tapas for 65EC, Ginger Pork for 25EC, local lime juice for 10EC and Fruitcake for 10EC. All in all quite good the Tapas is perfect for trying a lot of local dishes, and my favourite was actually the lime juice out of everything it was well balanced not too strong but not weak either. As per the island life expect slow service. We were the only people at 1pm and left around 3pm. This is normal, island life as told to you by a white guy.

I visited this restaurant on a Thursday afternoon for lunch and was pleasantly surprised by the experience. When we arrived, we were the only diners there, which made for a quiet and relaxed atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, providing fast service—we received our food within 10 minutes. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. Overall, it was a great dining experience, and I would definitely recommend it!

Both the Curry Chicken and Jerk Chicken were tasty and filling. The side of rice and peas is authentic to the islands and the plantains with cinnamon were excellent. Milton is a great host, giving attentive service.

This is a must-try restaurant in Grenada. You can come here any time of day and have an absolutely delicious, authentic, homemade meal. For breakfast, try the green banana porridge and you will not regret it. For lunch or dinner, the rum punch to drink plus the creole fish or jerk chicken… so good! Highly recommend this place!

Rhodes Restaurant at Calabash, Grenada

Restaurant
Rhodes Restaurant at Calabash, Grenada is a romantic open-air dining spot surrounded by lush greenery and twinkling lights, making it perfect for special occasions. The menu features elegant dishes made with local produce and spices, such as shrimp and callaloo tartlet or grilled swordfish steak with ginger sauce. This signature restaurant by acclaimed British chef Gary Rhodes offers a fancy yet amazing dining experience, ideal for a romantic date night on the island.
Quite easily the best restaurant on island. The food was EXQUISITE! Service is unmatched, what stood out was the front desk staff who pleasantly welcomed my party and even offered to take our pictures before we were escorted to the restaurant. Special thank you to George, Dianna and Shirlyn who took care of our table and paid very careful attention to our needs the entire evening. You can tell the staff at Calabash are very well trained and take great pride in their jobs. Pictured: Shrimp & Callaloo Tartlet- highly recommend this starter.

We decided we wanted to end our Friendsgiving trip with a great meal and a reason to get semi formal. WELL, LET ME TELL YOU..... IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! From the very beginning of the experience to the end was GREAT! The food was so good I forgot to take pics of almost everything because I just wanted to eat. I had the lobster tail which usually comes in the Shell but this did not and at first I was skeptical but I thought about it.... It was not the time to be plucking meat from a shell. I would definitely recommend it. It came with triple cooked fries but if you would prefer another side, they do allow substitutions and let me just stop here and also recommend the mashed potatoes! They were good! For dessert I had a dessert cocktail which was ok compared to the caramel icecream and lava cake. That icecream alone was HEAVEN on my tongue. If we had gone to dinner before our last day I can guarantee we would've attempted to eat there again. It was all we talked about on our ride back to the airport. Oh! And the drinks from the bar were GREAT not too weak, not too strong and the bartender sure knew his stuff!
Whitney H — Google review
The waitstaff was incredibly rude, accepting our reservation over the phone but refusing to honor it upon arrival simply because we had children with us—something they never mentioned during the booking. The food was awful, clearly not fresh and tasting rancid, while the ambiance left much to be desired. Overall, a terrible experience.
Stefie G — Google review
A quiet and relaxing setting, great place for a romantic dinner. Excellent service and creative, tasty food in a beautiful setting. The best cocktail and wine list we saw in Grenada. Prices were high for Grenada but fair for the quality of the experience.

Great food and awesome service. Very high end quality. Had the onion soup and lamb and both were exquisite. The chocolate and banana cake to finish was gorgeous.

My son made a reservation for six in order to celebrate his mother's birthday. When we all arrived we were told that he had made the reservation for two and we were out of luck. The hostess offered another night and said she was sorry since she realized it was a special birthday event. Unacceptable and very disappointing.
David L — Google review
Here’s the thing: everything in Rhodes was gorgeous. The ambiance, delightful. Service, amazing. People, stellar. The food… sigh. We wanted to like this place so bad, and we continued to give it shot after shot. It was my partners birthday, and after reading reviews, we were so excited to ball out on this restaurant. We spent a month traveling Grenada and wanted to have a taste of its high-end meals. Rhodes seemed to be a winner after looking over the menu, everything looked great! Upon entering, we were immediately greeted and seated with attentiveness. It was so adorable how the restaurant made a custom menu to celebrate my partner’s birthday! There were many servers that came to check in on us very frequently, but it was not annoying. We were given an adequate amount of time to look over the menu, and boy were we interested. The ambiance was also lovely, with a live saxophonist playing modern tunes. The flowers from the ceiling were gorgeous and the way the restaurant overlooked the hotel gave a dreamy appeal. As for the food, the appetizers were a let down. They pretty much started the downfall of our expectations. We ordered the mahi carpaccio and nutmeg risotto. The presentation was promising but severely lacked flavor and was overall disappointing. In regards to the main courses, my partner ordered the Duck and I ordered the Catch of the Day— recommended by one of the servers when I could not choose. This item is available under the “From the Grill” title on the menu and offers a sauce of my choice. For some reason, the server chose to pair my Mahi Mahi with Chimichurri— and it was not a good match. Not only was the pairing bad, but again, the visual appeal was better than the actual flavors of the dish. It was a constant disappoint to be surrounded by such beauty, and the taste be so lackluster. We didn’t know if it was just our tastes, but a neighboring table felt the same way. Because it was my partners birthday, they sang Happy Birthday to her in the sweetest way with our requested dessert— Sticky Toffee Pudding. Although gorgeous, again LACKLUSTER! We told our servers (so kind and helpful) about our feelings. We loved everything about the place and the presentation, but the focus seemed to be put aside in regards to the actual flavors of their dishes. Total package, but just doesn’t hit. The food is just not worth the price. Honestly, we would recommend this place to others just because of the people and ambiance, BUT only to grab a drink (they were pretty good). Also, tip the servers well! They deserve it. Visit: July 21, 2023

Quite possibly the most exquisite restaurant in Grenada. The food and the service are Michelin-star quality. The setting is elegant and luxurious. And the service is extraordinary. Expect the royal treatment and a meal you will never forget!

Carib Sushi

Japanese restaurant
Carib Sushi, located in Grenada's Le Marquis Complex near Grand Anse Beach, is a must-visit for sushi enthusiasts. This award-winning restaurant offers over 100 dishes, including options for vegetarians and meat lovers. The menu features a unique blend of Japanese cuisine with a Caribbean twist, showcasing an abundance of local fresh fish like Yellow fin Tuna, Lobster, and Conch.
We've had mixed experiences with our dining out in Grenada, but this was one of the better ones. Great food, prepared by Japanese sushi chefs, was the highlight. Service was pleasant if a bit disorganized, and the space both indoors and out was crowded. We would go back again.
Jeff G — Google review
Sooo. I don't eat sushi, but i will take my daughter as she does. She loves it and now, much to her great happiness and sadness she has eaten at Carib Sushi. She is happy as it is the best sushi she has ever had. And sad as now no other sushi will live up to her time at Sushi Carib and all others will be judged against it. She had the Dragon Roll and the presentation was immaculate and the flavor divine. And yes, she has had sushi in Japan
Bryan C — Google review
Even though we were inside it was a great evening. Food was served quickly and by one of the excellent staff none Rhonda. A bit of a mix up with our first drinks order but it wasn't a big thing. What was a big thing and that was the food. It was fresh tasty and served quickly and as I've eaten sushi across the world including Japan I can say that Carib Sushi is definitely one of the best. Great staff great food and definitely book so you can sit outside even though the inside has it appeal. Oh the Gyoza (pork) warrant a special mention as they were excellent and the best I've ever eaten.
T W — Google review
Absolutely lovely place to eat sushi! We were hot and hungry and were welcomed with smiles and cool AC. We had incredibly fresh sashimi and two beautiful sushi rolls. We left happy with full bellies. I had wanted to try everything! It is quite an extensive menu. They have an outdoor seating area that looks like it could accommodate quite a crowd. A separate room for the hibachi seating. I can see us returning to come back in the cooler weather to enjoy the patio and also make a reservation for hibachi. A bonus is that it is walking distance to the IGA!
Dawn M — Google review
The chefs & food are amazing. The sushi is so fresh & delicious, if you're a sushi lover this is your place. The only problem we had was a waitress with short hair who was aggressively asking us if we were leaving a tip before we paid, after we paid she stood over us & watched us as we got money for a tip. It was one if the most awkward encounters ever! Very aggressive, we felt under duress (we would have tipped regardless) but this made us feel super uncomfortable. As I said amazing food just a shame about this service.

Wow! Just wow! The freshest fish I've ever eaten. If you're staying nearby, run, don't walk. This place is hopping with med students, tourists, and locals. The service was superb.

One of the best restaurants we were in for our stay in Grenada. The staff and sushi chefs were very friendly. One piece of advice book a table as it'e very popular, we were lucky to snag the last spot.

Very impressed with this place. Seems there are very few sushi places here. Glad I came to this one! The service could be a little better.

Laluna Boutique Hotel & Villas

Bar
Laluna Boutique Hotel and Villas is a serene beachfront retreat offering boho-chic cottages and modern villas nestled in lush gardens. With just 16 accommodations, it provides an intimate and secluded atmosphere, perfect for couples seeking a quiet getaway. Guests can enjoy the outdoor pool, beachside yoga pavilion, Asian spa, and organic garden for holistic wellness experiences.
This place is amazing. The beach is quiet, private, and never really crowded. I was there over a "busy" holiday weekend, and I think maybe 12 people were at the beach and/or bar. The cocktails at the beach bar are out of this world. The rooms are well kept and well stocked, plus they have a fantastic view of the ocean. You wake up to the sound of the waves in the morning. I think my favorite part of the stay was just sitting in the plunge pool on my room's deck watching the sunset every night. The staff will go the extra mile for you to make sure you enjoy your stay. You're 10 minutes away from most of the main stuff over on Grand Anse beach, but I honestly wouldn't bother. The beach La Luna has is head and shoulders better. Plus if you stay at La Luna, you can use the water sport things with your stay. My wife and I took paddle boards out to the next beach over (Morne Rouge) and we were able to get seats at a beach bar and also get to enjoy another one of the great beaches of Grenada. The food at the restaurant at the hotel is awesome as well. I never did the lunch, but the breakfasts were delicious and the Italian style sea food for dinner was great. I will be coming back for sure!

A stunning space right on the beach! The staff were all amazing. Helpful, kind and accommodating. They welcome you in with a cocktail and make you feel right at home. The amenities are curated with detail. The cottages are rustic with a modern twist. Beautiful furniture and features. Absolutely loved this space! Highly recommend.

Do not stay here! It’s a step above tent camping, let me explain. This property is severely misrepresented on their website. The pictures are not accurate to show what it actually looks like. The pool is dirty and dingy. Nobody in their right mind would go into it and it was completely empty of people. The check in process is disjointed. My husband and I waited outside by our luggage. Someone eventually came to greet us. She moved us to the bar area, left our luggage on the side street on the side road. We waited and waited and eventually provided us with our key. Didn’t discuss the property’s amenities, and when we asked about Marriott Bonvoy status (we are titanium) she said we don’t honor status here. Again, Nothing regarding that on their website. Regardless, She handed us the key and then searched for a colleague who would come take us to the room on the hill. Two of these men said they were busy then one finally said he would help, As if he was doing her a favor. Liked mention earlier, The pictures online are grossly misleading. It’s one step above camping. Once we got to our room, it was hot. She turned on the AC. Took a long time to cool. That was the least of our issues. As we were unpacking I saw a rodent on my nightstand. It was on the side table right next to where my head would be. We called down to remove it. Someone came, with nothing in hand and went outside to retrieve a tree branch from the woods and coerced the rodent outside. Not far enough because later that evening it was back in bathroom. Along with the hundreds of mosquitoes. I couldn’t use the bathroom at all and was petrified to go in there. In the room there is only one outlet, on one side of the room. The beds are covered with a net in order to alleviate any bugs to get in, well doesn’t work. We left early the next morning. We explained to the front desk that this property is not as described and extremely misleading. They didn’t care and refused to credit us the remaining 2 nights. They said to email the owner. We have reached out to the owner with no response. I repeat DO NOT STAY HERE! I’m baffled by the reviews and feel very strongly that those reviews cannot be trusted. Furthermore we are waiting for the hotel to credit us the 2 nights we absolutely could not stay due to our experience. They do not respond. They have cited to Marriott Bonvoy their 30 day cancellation policy which should not be enforced since the misrepresentations of your property. I was sick following this situation. Do the right thing la Luna and refund accordingly . My reply: You mention that your property "offers a unique, nature-focused experience that many guests appreciate, as reflected in numerous positive reviews". My reply to this is that if this is the focus of your property, then it should be stated on your property website. Some people may not want "nature-focused experience". Be honest Laluna. You mention that "The rodent you were referring to, was a lizard, which do eat mosquitos" My reply to this is that I still do not want a lizard near my head on the nightstand when I am sleeping.  Again, if this is how you want to represent your property, then state that on your website. You mention "Regarding Marriott Bonvoy Titanium status, our participation level is clearly outlined at booking and in the pre-arrival email sent two weeks before your arrival. We encourage guests to review this information ahead of time to avoid surprises." My reply to this is your full cancellation policy is 30 days from check-in. So by informing your future customer 2 weeks prior of your policies (titanium, cancellation) is too late and a money grab on people as they cannot cancel at that point. You mention "Our team followed standard check-in procedures and promptly addressed your concerns during your stay." My reply is that your staff did not and customer is telling you this.  Perhaps some retraining or better oversight will help alleviate this issue in the future. As a reminder, we tried to resolve this privately but you did not return our emails or phone calls.

Laluna is an amazing getaway in Grenada. Tucked into a private corner of the island overlooking the ocean, we enjoyed a relaxing holiday from our private cottage. Amazing staff ensured a wonderful stay. The sunsets are unbelievable. Highly recommend.

LaLuna was the perfect honeymoon resort to relax and getaway. The private villas offered stunning views and beautiful sunsets. The beach and pool were never crowded. The restaurant, bar, and housekeeping staff were excellent and beyond hospitable. Tracey from the front desk took care of us from the moment we arrived and made sure that any and everything that we needed was readily available without hesitating! We would highly recommend vacationing here and will absolutely visit again!

Please do not be fooled by the fake photos. We booked for one week and couldn't even stay for one night - it was a terrible experience, with mosquitoes biting us in the room, no TV, outside toilet, and it doesn't feel safe, with only one security asleep at his post. There is a waterfront, but it is extremely far from the rooms. It was so unbearable that we had to book into Tru Blue Resort the same night, and they refused to refund us. BE VERY CAREFUL! Addendum: Since you have decided to respond with an obvious lie, it is clear that your marketing is filled with deception and fraud. I simply ask anyone who is considering booking Laluna to look at the other 1-star reviews, and consider other hotels like Tru Blu Resort.

How to describe this hidden gem of a place ? It is a wonderful retreat in a little slice of paradise, run by Bernardo and his lovely wife Wendy with the help of their amazing staff, who all welcome you like old friends and family. Yoga on beach every morning taught by Karina was also a welcome respite. Choose this hotel if you want something different than the typical/sterile/impersonal resort! If you want something more personal, intimate, private, and that embraces the natural beauty of the island, look no further ! Already planning our return ! Sundays at their monkey bar, they cook a local Grenada dish, and this was one of the best experiences. Also, for fellow book aficionados, I really fell in love with all the used books available in the lounge areas but also in each of the rooms. Appreciated this extra touch. Special shout out to DWIGHT the bartender, who really goes out of his way to give everyone the best experience !!!

Victory Bar and Restaurant

Restaurant
Victory Bar and Restaurant is a popular spot for boaters, businesspeople, and vacationers seeking delicious food in a waterfront setting near town. Situated at Port Louis Marina, it offers stunning views of the lagoon and sailing masts. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner with an extensive menu featuring pizza, pasta, salads, burgers, sandwiches, steaks, chops, and fresh seafood.
In here is all about presentation! Very good place to grab a bite, and spend time with your loved ones. Prices are fair compared with other restaurants around the area. The service was fast and they understood perfectly well that a vegetarian diet is important in a menu. Totally recommend!

2 very different experiences in the same day. We went to Victory for breakfast this morning. The waitress was friendly & attentive. Our food @ drink orders were taken in a timely manner and delivered promptly. We enjoyed it so much we made a reservation for dinner tonight at 5pm. Huge mistake! DO NOT RECOMMEND! Arrived just before 5. 1 waitress was at the bar sorting cutlery. No host. She did not make eye contact or any effort at all to seat us. She then went to 4 tables of 10 that were being preset for some type of function. By this time 10 mins had passed and were still standing at the door. My husband then went to the bar to try to find someone. Another waitress came (begrudgingly) and flicked through the reservation book. It was obvious she didn’t want to seat us. After a few more minutes and eye rolling she grabbed 2 menus and gave us a table (in an empty restaurant). We asked her what drinks were included in happy hour, she didn’t know and had to go and ask behind the bar. The next hour proceeded with us mostly being ignored. 1 other table of 4 had arrived. There were 4 waitresses working but we were invisible. Ending up going up to the bar to order drinks, which were then left on the bar for us to collect ourselves. We saw the group booking arriving and quickly prefer our meals as we were expecting to receive NO service once they were seated. We asked the waitress with the pink hair for the drinks menu. She actually rolled her eyes at us! The whole time we were there we were made to feel like a huge inconvenience. Our pizza arrived and was really good. Was it worth the price if suffering through such hostile & unfriendly service? No, not at all. We went to the bar to get our bill and they had automatically added the tip. I questioned this as the menu states it’s not added and at our discretion. Our discretion was telling these 4 surly girls need to learn how to work in the customer service industry or change jobs! New bill was printed without the tip added.

Great choices of small plates and appetizers. The drink list is extensive with reasonable prices. Calamari and lambie cerviche are excellent. The nachos are made with cheddar cheese which is inappropriate for nachos. The "vegetables" on the nachos are shredded carrots and cabbage. There is an extra cost to add a nacho essential as jalapeño peppers! Customer service is mediocre: nothing outstanding, barely attentive staff who do not follow-up on tables, do not clear off dishes, or de-clutter the tables. Drinks are served without coasters on wooden tables, leaving wet, messy puddles on the table. There seems to be two resident house cats that are allowed to fraternize with, and bother the patrons. The cats go from table to table, scratching and licking themselves, rubbing against patrons' feet, begging. No one attempts to control or prohibit these cats from infringing on the patrons' quiet enjoyment. This is rather unprofessional, inconsiderate, and most likely a violation of health and safety code, standards and protocol. Besides, many people are allergic to cats. These cats are ostensibly outdoor cats also, potentially carrying in contaminants and fungi into the restaurant. This is an absolute turn off to be dining while being harassed, intruded upon and bullied by entitled cats. Urgh!

Victory bar and restaurant is set in the picturesque St.George's Harbour. On any table you get amazing views/scenery. The food and beverage however has some fine tuning that needs to be done. On a weekday afternoon, it took about 30 mins for the appetizer; do not order the cheeseburger samosa; unpalatable, and it close to 45 for the main on a day when only 2 tables were occupied in the restaurant. The meat (main course) was quite chewy that I couldn't finish my meal. However, my friend said the chicken Alfredo was amazing! The strawberry margarita tasted as though the tequila was added after blending or maybe it was just cheap tequila. So we eventually switched to wine.

We stopped by here before leaving St George to return to Grand Anse, for lunch. I was excited to try the conch ceviche, we got shrimp and callaloo, calamari, and a med salad. The conch ceviche was bland, but fresh, they just didn’t have any lime in it which maybe a different style to how they do ceviche. I asked for lemon to go with our calamari but they didn’t have that. The calamari was thick which is fine but heavily breaded and I would’ve like having marinara to go with it, but they didn’t have that either. The shrimp callaloo was good with their cole slaw, the med salad was delicious with passion fruit vinaigrette. The place is really pretty because there are boats nearby in the harbor and it had great landscaping in the vicinity. It was a so so experience.

I really enjoyed my time there. I chose there to celebrate my birthday. The staff was friendly and made sure i was taken care of. The food was good too. I had jerk chicken breast. I had jerk in Jamaica before so I honestly didn't expect it to be as good as the one I had in Jamaica. I honestly recommend here for anyone who is celebrating any occasion.

Victory Bar and Restaurant is a great place, a warm and friendly environment, that's excellent for family and friends hangouts with good food and relaxation while listening to light music, and at night's live entertainment. Take in the fresh air and the open view that allows you to enjoy the surroundings while quenching your appetite with the taste if Victory.

Pleasant friendly staff welcomed us to this relaxed open air restaurant. Packed on a Saturday night, with live music. Reservations would have been a good idea, but they eventually found us a table. The fresh juice that evening was mango, which blended well with rum. Food was tasty.

La Sagesse Boutique Hotel, Restaurant and Beach Bar

Hotel
Bar
Nestled in the southeast of Grenada, La Sagesse Boutique Hotel, Restaurant and Beach Bar offers a secluded and romantic getaway. The hotel features airy rooms and event space, while the restaurant boasts a terrace with an intimate setting directly on a palm tree-shaded beach. Guests can enjoy fresh seafood like tuna, mahi-mahi, lobster, and local chicken from the Creole-inspired menu.
This place is an absolute treasure! Lynn and Mike are the most gracious hosts. John and Sammy go above and beyond to ensure guests are comfortable and well fed. The restaurant is amazing. The whole staff works hard to make sure you want for nothing. I cannot recommend La Sagesse highly enough.

I am not usually the type to write reviews, but our recent two-week stay at La Sagesse Boutique Hotel, Restaurant & Beach Bar deserves to be recognized for its exceptional care and rare magic. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found something special. Our beautiful two-story, all-wood room felt both luxurious and warm, with air conditioning for comfort and an outdoor shower tucked under the canopy of beautiful trees — an experience in itself. In the mornings, we could step outside and be on a palm-fringed, white-sand beach in under 10 seconds. The setting was pure paradise: calm turquoise water, soft sand, sunbeds, kayaks, and snorkeling gear ready to use. The restaurant was exceptional, serving fresh local dishes, the daily catch straight from the sea, and vibrant fresh juices, it was a joy to dine there. At night, the space transformed — softly lit with white string lights, creating an atmosphere straight out of the most dreamy movies. What made our stay truly special was the peace we found here. We both work in high-stress environments, and for the first time in years, we were able to slow down, take barefoot walks along the shore, soak in the sun, and simply be present. Every detail seemed designed to make life easier and calmer — from the fresh water buckets with floating flowers outside each bungalow to wash off the sand, to the gorgeous decorative touches throughout the property. The staff were extraordinary. Every single person we met was welcoming, friendly, and eager to help. They arranged incredible excursions, and with their trusted driver, we explored the entire island. When I unexpectedly needed to see a doctor, they organized everything within minutes — calmly, efficiently, and with genuine care. That level of service is rare anywhere in the world. It’s telling that guests from other resorts would wander over, fall in love with the atmosphere, and decide to come back daily and spend their days at La Sagesse. We can’t blame them — the combination of natural beauty, thoughtful design, and genuine hospitality is unmatched. La Sagesse is more than just a place to stay — it’s a place to breathe, to reconnect with yourself and each other, and to be cared for in a way that feels deeply personal. We will carry the peace we found here for a long time and cannot wait to return. If paradise exists on Earth, we believe it might just be here.

This lovely quiet hotel is well positioned on La Sagesse Beach. Our room was delightful with views over the hotel gardens and out to sea. The staff were attentive and professional. There is a restaurant and bar attached to the hotel which is a bonus because the food is excellent. I loved the art which was dotted all around the hotel. I would stay here again - a great base to explore the quieter areas of the island.

We visited the restaurant only, the food was good but feied chicken a bit overfried and dry. Fish was really nice. Locatin and the feeling are really nice, the beach is shallow and has nice waves for kids (or adults) to play in. The grounds were nicely cleaned, overall good experience.

I have only ever been to the restaurant but the fact that i keep coming back says it all. The food is always well prepared and tasty. The staff are always pleasant, smiling, engaging. The location on the beach is idylic, & relaxing. The construction taking place in the distance is indeed and interuption of a lovely landscape but this will eventually come to and end. Keep up the good work

The food is really good! We stayed at Six Senses but very disappointed with the food so we were looking for something close by. Luckily we tried the food and it’s AMAZING and a fraction of the price of the Six Senses. You must try the lobster 🦞 and the banana flambe

Canouan Airport

International airport
Canouan Airport is a popular spot for those looking to make some quick cash, but it's important to watch out for Mr. Rubio's guards who are always on the lookout. Some visitors have managed to steal large sums of money and valuables from Mr. Rubio, with the help of a Russian named Pavel who has military experience and inside knowledge of the island. While some find the place exciting and lucrative, others feel uneasy due to security concerns.
It's a perfect place. When you go to the island as a smuggler, they let you tour the island. But be careful not to get caught by the security. When you climb up to the tower and hack the cameras, take note of the goods in the compound. Prepare the items needed for the robbery, do the robbery and deliver it to Madrazo and get your money. Now you are rich

Man this island got it all, last run I camped in the compound, took out every guard and still more loot was to come.. sucks that my bag was full, and at least 6... made it out easy with 3.2M.. coke is great.

Absolutely breathtaking island getaway The sunsets are gorgeous, the beaches are quiet... and the compound tour is something else! Security is very attentive here-saw guys in full body armor carrying rifles bigger than me. Kinda overkill just to guard some 'souvenirs,' don't you think? 0 Every warehouse felt like a treasure chest, stacked to the ceiling with 'local exports' Honestly, filling my bag was easier than expected, but those juggernaut guards? Yeah... would not recommend making eye contact Still, left with millions worth of memories literally. Best vacation ever, will be back again 🙏🙏♥️♥️

Visited Cayo Perico last weekend—what a wild experience The island itself is stunning white sand beaches, crystal-clear waters, and surprisingly well-armed security everywhere. The locals (mostly guards and drug smugglers) aren’t the friendliest, but they sure are passionate about their work. Got a tour of the underground vault after some creative negotiations—the artwork and cash reserves are top-notch. Be warned though: the air defense system is a little intense, and you might get chased by helicopters if you overstay your welcome. Would definitely recommend visiting again! P.S. Bring your own snacks. El Rubio’s guards don’t share :(

I go on walking tours to this island every week, and there have never been any delays in departure (except once, but more on that later). Pavel, a Russian guide, immediately meets us there and takes us through the main points of the island - a tequila showcase (probably some kind of local liquor store), a couple of barracks with gold, a couple of rooms in a local hangar. but, for some reason, the first time, he forced me to first bring some grandfather with a German accent to the beach, listen to good enough music from Kinemusic, guided me through the main points, and forced me to go to the west dock and take pictures of him and the bolt cutter. That's a minus star.

Maurice Bishop International Airport

International airport
Airport
Maurice Bishop International Airport, located on a peninsula in the Point Salines area of Grenada, is about 4 miles from the capital of St. George. It offers direct flights from various airlines including Delta, jetBlue, British Airways, American Airlines, Air Canada, Virgin Atlantic and more. The airport provides easy access for travelers from New York City and other locations. Visitors can expect efficient service at the airport with quick lines and friendly staff making it a pleasant entry point to the country.
Pleasant people. Arrivals were pretty quick. And the bags didn't take too long. I'm hoping departures are just as efficient. Will update..
Shanna E — Google review
The airport was certainly a pleasant experience overall. I was particularly impressed by the good duty-free selections available. However, the food prices upstairs were a bit shocking, to say the least. The staff members were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout the entire process. It was definitely a nice and well-kept airport.
Chip H — Google review
Airport, shop, immigration, and airline personnel we met here were patient, friendly, and helpful. Restrooms were very clean. Facilities adequate and shop variety and stock was good. Adequate and up to date info screens for flights, etc. Plenty of adequate seating when the 2nd floor is included. Reasonable air conditioned areas. And I did not see any big tributary photos of questionable/controversial leaders like Fidel Castro and Hugo Chavez as at the St Vincent airport. My only issue at this airport was that flights from Gate 5A and 5B require one to go upstairs to board (there is an escalator and elevator up), yet after scanning your boarding pass, you have to lug all carry on bags and oneself down stairs, and then of course back up the aircraft stairs. It’s humorous initially and not bad for everyone, but sad to see people struggling with their bags and please pray that no one falls. To recap: up… down… up ! This is not the case for convenient, normal ground level gates 1 to 4. Someone donate a couple jetways please! It’s mainly the bigger jets like American Airlines that have the ups and downs, maybe it is some kind of subconscious revenge for all the famous history between lovely Grenada and lovely USA? I believe the whole issue comes from the airport having been designed in anticipation of jetways (much of the waiting space is upstairs) which have not been funded yet? Anyways, the airport overall is quite nice and very suitable.

Small airport but they do international flights. 1 runway for all the flights. No walkways for entering and exiting the plane. Just use the “bluth” staircar staircase. Then you walk in the tarmac. Customs was quick and simple. Some hotels have shuttles but you’ll most likely have to take a taxi to your destination. Wouldn’t recommend renting a car, it’s not like driving where you’re from.

I wish I could give no stars at all, I had triple wrapped both my suitcases with luggage wrap, a suitcase cover and a plastic luggage cover. I noticed that my plastic luggage cover had been tampered with as soon as my luggage had come off the conveyor belt, this left me very uneasy and suspicious!!! My partners luggage had been stripped of both the suitcase cover and the plastic cover, the luggage wrap and zip had been evidently tampered with, they were clearly trying to steal from the luggage. There was a gape where the zip was, the zip was also in a totally different position than I had left it after wrapping it. They had slightly ripped the luggage wrap on one corner. This is absolutely disgusting and ruined the start of my vacation in Grenada. The staff that were around were quite helpful and gave us a form that we could send to insurance to confirm that our luggage was tampered with. My partner and I watched our luggage whilst we were sat on the plane at London Gatwick Airport, we could see both our suitcases being loaded, I know the tampering was done at Maurice Bishop International Airport. GUYS, PLEASE ENSURE ALL YOUR LUGGAGE IS THOROUGHLY WRAPPED UP AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE TO AVOID HAVING ANYTHING STOLEN‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️‼️ I have added pictures of what our luggage originally looked like and how we found them! Someone had taken them off the conveyor and put them to a side.

Small, cute airport but the customer service is HORRIBLE, especially those working in the departure area. From the Jetblue check-in counter to the immigration officers to those working at the departure gate, all rude and acted like it was painful to smile. The woman at Gate 2 working the Jetblue flight to NY ignored the boarding order by Groups and started boarding her buddies from the back of the line while the Mosaic customers had to wait. We knew these people were her friends becasue of the way they greeted each other. Besides the airport experience though, everyone else, we encountered in Grenada, was super pleasant and kind.

This past Wednesday, I was flying to Carriacou wearing mesh pants over my bikini the same pants I wore in August without any issues. It’s a short, 20-minute flight. Check-in went smoothly, and nothing was mentioned about my attire. However, during the security screening, a staff member approached me, asked if I had another pair of pants, and eventually called Security on me. I was surprised and disappointed by how the situation was handled, as I felt it could have been addressed with more professionalism and courtesy. She was very hostile and spoke to me in a rude manner. What stood out to me was that her colleagues observed the exchange but did not step in. I’ve noticed that some staff interactions can feel less welcoming toward certain travelers, and I’ve heard similar feedback from other visitors and locals about the rude and aggressive conduct of some employees particularly toward foreign passengers and women of color.
