This inviting bar boasts an extensive drink menu featuring a delightful array of cocktails and beers, making it an ideal spot to unwind after a day of exploration. Godfather is THE local bar gathering all the friends together! I love the stories behind every posters and shirts Scott puts in the bar. So many stories and people comes through this place and yet the service team and Scott are still remembering and loving the ones choose to leave loving spirit in this place. Definitely recommend everyone to go there and have fun with friends! Average spending $30

The bartender, Lou, took great care of a first-time visitor. Felt like a slice of the best part of Americana. Can't wait to visit when I can stay for the band!
Tim T — Google review
Most of the vegetables on the nachos seemed old like they had been sitting around too long. The hamburger patty was pre-made and tough as was the chicken on the nachos. The beer sampler was a cute idea ana reasonably priced. The bar staff were friendly and helpful. $4 for a warm can of Canada Dry and a glass of ice.
Mary T — Google review
The tacos are good, just choose from beef or chicken and hard or soft. Just go there every tuesday for the $1 taco. The smb pale and light are also discounted. Friday is $3 heineken. Good environment and nice crew. They also serve free nuts and alcohol gelo.
Renezzar L — Google review
Godfathers is a local favorite located in Garapan with a great band, great service, good food. A fun place to hang out and catch up with friends. The food is really good especially for bar food. There are daily specials. Taco Tuesday is a big hit with the locals and visitors alike. Definitely recommend Godfathers whenever you are in Saipan. Godfather's has added additional nights of DJ and live music. Give them a call for scheduling. Godfather's "where everybody knows your name".
Kathy L — Google review
Great selection of alcohol beverages. The food here is usually great but the star of the menu is the pizza. Great place to go especially if your from the mainland.
Edwin T — Google review
Awesome place to hangout! Bring a group; enjoy the live music on select nights; taco Tuesdays are great with $1 tacos; drinks are decent and there is a wide selection of beer and liquors to chose from. Service is sometimes a little below par, but over all Godfather's is always a great time... On slower nights for the freshest and better food quality, if eating pizza, order a whole pizza. 😋
JC S — Google review
Godfather’s is a Garapan staple. Frequented by locals, MSC personnel and tourists. The staff is always friendly. The drinks are reasonable. On the weekends, it’s busy. Only caveat is it can get crowded and a little harsh on the ears.

Nestled along Saipan's Beach Road, AB Wild Bill's Bar & Grill is a vibrant spot that perfectly blends the flavors of traditional Thai cuisine with beloved American classics. Whether you're in the mood for a hearty chicken fried steak or a juicy bacon cheeseburger, this lively bar and grill has something to satisfy every palate. Food is good. We recommend getting the vietnamese fried shanghai.

Great service! Server recommended Thai dishes on the menu. Everyone thought it was great!
M M — Google review
The food is so good especially the Pad Thai. Honestly they cook it better than the one at Spicy Thai, they are not stingy with ingredients like shrimp, tofu and all of it. The service is 10/10.
JB — Google review
Saipan #1 for Thai. Excellent American food also, and a great breakfast too. Staff are always so nice and the spicy level is perfect (Thai spicy beware unless you love it hot). My favorite spot to go.

It was a rainy evening, so I drove to takeout and ate it at the hotel, and it was so delicious. The owner was kind and happy. She said "see you tomorrow" but I haven't gone yet ;)

Nice Thai food and US burger. Kids love Pad Thai and pork chop spaghtti. And service is great, too. Nice ambiance half restuarant, half bar. Make everyone relax. Oh must try their green curry.

Friendly staff, quick service, and good authentic Thai food . Big menu to also satisy your burger, pasta, soup and breakfast cravings. Burger patties seem to house-made, one of my go-to's👌

American Pizza & Grill

Mentioned on
1 list
$$$$cheap
Restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant dining scene of Saipan, American Pizza & Grill stands out as a delightful spot for those craving classic American fare. Recently renovated, the restaurant boasts an inviting atmosphere complemented by attentive service. Diners rave about their burgers, particularly the truffle bacon burger—though it’s worth noting that to truly savor the truffle flavor, an extra drizzle of truffle oil is recommended.
It was a great experience in Saipan. Burger was so nice, patty was juicy, source was good and burn was really really great. But I think it’s kinda expensive. All good except that 👍
신정수 — Google review
Good dinner stop for American style food. Steak truffle fries were our favorite thing. They disappeared so fast I didn't even get a photo. Burgers were great. FF nice and crispy. Fried chicken was good, maybe a bit dry. Honey cornbread I would skip next time. If you like mac and cheese, then you'd like the truffle mac and cheese. It came like a piece of cassarole. The garlic mashed potatoes and gravy were really good. Real chunky mashed potatoes. They first came out cold in the middle and were replaced with hot ones.
M M — Google review
The food was absolutely delicious. The BBQ Bacon Burger was both juicy and crispy thanks to the fried onion ring that was in it. The fried chicken tasted fantastic aswell with both the crispy skin and the juicy meat being the highlights. Service was also professional and friendly too and the atmosphere was really nice. Overall, we really enjoyed the food we ordered and will definitely come back again for sure.
Gabriel A — Google review
American Pizza is decent. I reckon it’s considerably in the lower end of Saipan’s restaurants in terms of its value with its prices and food. First off, the customer service is pretty good. Most of the waiters you encounter are accommodating enough for their customers. Couple that with the dazzling lights hanging from the ceilings and just an amazing themed setup and entrancing background soundtrack, and you get a pretty great vibe going for you. The food is good, don’t get me wrong, but my eyebrows must be raised when a ten inch pizza costs $20. The pizza was good though, it was really cheesy, the dough was nice, and the toppings were great, but does not justify its insane price. The empanadas I ordered were fine. Its pork was a little dry and lacked a little flavor, which is why I recommend to use the sauces offered, it helps a lot. The pastas were great. Sauce was spectacular, garlic bread was superb, and was overall the spotlight of the show. I’m not completely dismissing this place. It’s just that to me, yeah, the food is great, but the prices given to some of these dishes are just a little off-putting. Almost evocative of a tourist trap. TL;DR: A somewhat good eatery with above-average food, though attached to it are questionable prices.
Ted P — Google review
The restaurant is nice decorated after renovations. Food is good and service is better than many others. Truffle bacon burger wasn’t as good as my last time ordered, if you want to taste the truffle you’ll have to order the truffle oil for extra $1. The burger itself was $20 for double. But the taste is sooooo good. The bread there also was super yummy! The beef chilly though, it was so sour I couldn’t finished it. Their presentation was good, little pricy but everything is fresh made.
Madge ( — Google review
Ate here twice. The food is good and the service is kind and attentive. The fried chicken, pasta and pizza were all tasty and well priced. It was fairly busy both times. An enjoyable place to eat.
Ian P — Google review
I decided to give American Pizza and Grill a try, thinking I’d be in for some classic American comfort food. The atmosphere wasn’t great, but tolerable enough that I figured the food would make up for it. Unfortunately, what arrived at my table was neither particularly American nor particularly good. The pizza and other dishes included puzzling ingredients that didn’t seem to belong anywhere on the menu, and they arrived lukewarm and greasy. Flavor was in short supply, but oil was not. For what they charge, I expected at least one thing to stand out—instead, the only standout was how overpriced and underwhelming the whole experience was.

Great service, food tasted good, and the restaurant looked great inside.

Yummy and happy dinner in Saipan!

(Translated by Google) First of all, let me tell you, there is a price range. However, it is more expensive to eat in Korea. I had a $65 per person course that included seafood and sirloin or tenderloin. It was really delicious and my wife loved it. In particular, the scallops just melted in my mouth, which was amazing. I think they would enjoy it even if they brought their parents with them, and the kids next door were also amazed by the fire show. Cha Café and Bistro is a popular restaurant located in Garapan, Mariana Islands. It offers a fusion of international cuisine with a focus on modern Chamorro dishes. The bistro has received positive reviews for its diverse menu, including items like steamed buns, rice noodles, and sweet rice wraps. Visitors have praised the establishment as one of the best new restaurants in Saipan, highlighting its flavorful offerings and pleasant dining experience.
This is the place to enjoy a good cup of tea and a pastry. Bonus: they’ve got an upper floor as well to so you can appreciate the downtown view and the tallest mountaintop on island.
James W — Google review
I stopped by this café to pick up some baked goods before my flight, and I’m so glad I did. The cinnamon roll was absolutely delicious, and the blueberry tart was just as amazing. The bagels were good - not the best I’ve ever had, but still enjoyable. However, the cinnamon roll and blueberry tart were truly memorable. I’m still craving them! The staff was averagely friendly - nothing exceptional, but nothing to complain about either. The interior was neat, black, and well-maintained, creating a nice atmosphere. I can’t speak for the rest of the menu, but based on what I tried, I’d totally recommend the cinnamon roll and blueberry tart. They were just perfect!
J M — Google review
A lot of people come here for the drinks but I like the breakfast burrito or croissants best. The tomato bisque is chef’s kiss delish as well! The chicken wraps are okay but nothing special in my opinion. It can get busy here which adds to the noise level and they don’t usually serve good on a plate which means you are stuck sharing a tray with the other people you are there to eat with. Not a huge inconvenience just a little thing I think they could improve but I am sure this keeps the dishes they have to do to a minimum so I get it.
Corie P — Google review
This is the only stylish café in Garapan that’s open from morning till late at night. Even though Saipan’s been quieter since COVID, this place still gets pretty lively at night with lots of locals hanging out. The tiramisu is super tasty—not too sweet like the ones you often get overseas, just nice and light.
C O — Google review
Very modern and gorgeous looking place. Design is very unique and appealing. Drinks were all very delicious and the options were different. Love the honey milk tea, taro is super good with the add on of oreo if you ask them. Even the eggplant panini was super tasty. Really like the taro they add to the bread. A very popular spot where all the tourist visit for sure.
Nelson A — Google review
My favorite place to grab a coffee on the go, or as I often do, hang out for awhile in the pleasant atmosphere. The coffee and food choices are excellent, served quickly, and with high quality. The servers are ALWAYS friendly/helpful providers that make you feel at home. I don't have family here so it's nice to have a nice hangout with friendly faces.
Brian W — Google review
Good drinks, but don't expect classic espresso or espresso drinks. It's more of a bubble tea place. Sandwiches and pastries would be mediocre somewhere else, but very very good for Saipan. Service tends to be very good as well. Only downside is it's often crowded downstairs and the upstairs is closed in the evening and only open during the day when it's too hot to sit up there.
David S — Google review
It was a pleasant experience going in this cafe for the first time, with a lovely ambience and friendly staff. The drinks and pastries we tried were delicious and done well. I enjoyed the cinnamon bun the most, not too sweet, soft with a little flaky croissant texture on the outside.

we were looking for nice quiet restaurant to have breakfast, unfortunately most restaurants in garapan didn't open before 10:00 am...this restaurant had a unique entrance marked by twin prop plane erected @stoplight. it was adjoined by Ete' Cafe next door but we wanted more than coffee/donuts, fast food chain or ready made take out foods sold in markets.
HI K — Google review
Had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The steak was cooked to perfection! The service was exceptional—friendly, attentive, and professional. Highly recommend!
Su M — Google review
Probably among the pricier location we are at during out stay in Saipan but man the steak and lobster combo was WORTH IT!!! Smoothies were soooo good too!
Anie B — Google review
I came for dinner with my Besite, we got a bottle of wine, specifically Aniti Chardonnay and it was delicious. The service was excellent and the waiters were very accommodating! 10/10 would come here again.
Cassandra C — Google review
We were visiting Saipan and heard about this place and decided to try. So happy with our choice. The service was exceptional ! The setup of the restaurant is really nice and gives that steakhouse vibes. The prices are pretty decent too. We got soup and salad with our steak. The steak itself was well cooked and very flavorful. Excellent experience!
Kediecia M — Google review
Good food at very reasonable prices! Coffee is great, & they leave a carafe at the table which is perfect. Service very friendly but they disappear once you have your food. Plumeria is so good we went two days in a row!
Mary E — Google review
Food was pretty good, but expensive. Service was slow at first, but picked up later on during the meal. The Bruschetta was the best I’ve had on island, but also $18 for 5 pieces is pretty steep. I may go back for a special occasion but not regularly.

If you're on the lookout for a delightful dining experience, look no further than Korean House Restaurant. This gem is a favorite among locals, particularly the Korean community, which speaks volumes about its authenticity and quality. The menu boasts an impressive variety of dishes at reasonable prices, making it a go-to spot for both casual meals and special occasions.
There isn't anything I dont like when I dine here. Good service, good food & lots of space. Located on the second floor. Window seat is always enjoyable to watch basserbys. It does get pretty crowded at times and parking is a bit limited
Eunice O — Google review
sat by the window with a beautiful view, had spicy beef hot pot, and their best selling beef…. forgot its name and a bottle of red wine to finish 😋 the soup was so good! highly recommend coming here for dinner!
Renita F — Google review
Very friendly service and nice place upstairs. Lots of choices on the menu. Decent food, but they really cheap out on the ingredients, especially the banchan, which looks like it all came from a can. Every main dish looks like someone studied the original recipe and figured out how to cut the ingredient cost 50%. Well that's the restaurant business but Korea House takes it to an extreme. As another reviewer said the dishes don't look like the menu pictures.
David C — Google review
Menu looks very different from the actual food you will get. Server didn't warn us at all. Don't choose your food based on the picture. Very strong tastes. Yachae mulhoe soup portion was made with Sprite... Nakji dolsot-bibimbap had none of the traditional bibimbap veggies, only the meat.
John L — Google review
The food here is very good, and you always see tons of Koreans who live here dining there which is always a very good sign. Good selection of food, and the prices are very reasonable. This restaurant is definitely on my recommended list.

The atmosphere is enhanced by stunning views of the Crown Plaza Hotel, making it a picturesque place to relax with friends or family.
Great food at the beach front. Service a tad slow. The mushroom burger was huge and tasty doing justice to it's price. The club sandwich was healthily delicious. Margherita pizza was the flat dough kind. Fried chicken was good eventhough not visually appetizing. Burger and sandwich come with side of fries so no need to order extra.

Transportation in the Northern Mariana Islands

Getting around the Northern Mariana Islands can be a little daunting if you’re new here. We can help list some of the major public transportation methods if you don’t want to rely on a car.

Nearby airports

Saipan International Airport

International airport
Airport
Saipan International Airport, located in the southern part of the island, is a modest airport that offers direct flights to and from Guam, China, Hong Kong, Japan, and Korea. Despite its small size, it provides convenient access with quick security procedures. The airport has limited amenities but features shops before and after security for snacks and beverages. During the pandemic, strict health screening measures were implemented upon arrival. Additionally, there were restrictions on vehicle pickups with designated parking areas.
Arrive at the airport in the early morning but the waiting time to go through immigration is relatively long. Although the airport does not have fancy decoration, we can't wait to visit Saipan. In the departure hall, there are some restaurants and duty-free shops where you can buy souvenirs before leaving Saipan.

Nice little no frills airport... Everything good except the ventilation at the waiting area near the departure gate does not work properly...quite stuffy especially when there are people from more than 1 flight waiting at the same time... It was the same when I flew there last month... Otherwise, everything is a thumbs-up

March 2022 Fairly small airport, however, not the smallest I've seen. I flew in via United Airlines to take care of some personal affairs. This is post pandemic so there's hardly any workers at the airport. Cut hours for both airport and airline employees. Upon arrival, there is a health screening (Covid-19 vaxx) stuff. Vaxx or test not required upon entry, however, upon exit, negative test required. This was back in March this year, updates may different. Overall, good experience. Everyone is nice and friendly.

There was only one food place open on Monday morning, and the offerings were really limited. Security was pretty chaotic, and different rules were enforced by different people. Some people were required to pull out all their snack food. They also made some people board from the ground, which could be a lot of stairs for someone with mobility issues.

Nice little airport, TSA was easy to work with, baggage claim was quick. In the terminal there are multiple shops to get snacks and drinks.

The airport is small but convenient and the staff is very friendly and accommodating to your needs. Easy in, Easy out!

When Covid 19 hit. Alot of restrictions was put in especially at the airport. For picks up, you must park your vehicles at the designated area. You may walk up but not past the white arrows thats on the ground for arrivals.

Everything is good from landing, baggage handling, and customs clearance. The restroom is clean.

Tinian International Airport

Airport
Tinian International Airport is a small airport that primarily handles inter-island traffic from Saipan, Rota, and Guam. It accommodates single-engine aircraft carrying up to nine passengers. The airport features essential amenities such as rental car agencies, a small restaurant, and a gift shop. Visitors can also explore historical displays outside the terminal. Despite its size, the airport staff are known for their helpful and accommodating service.
Very small airport but has everything you need to get around on Tinian. Rental car agency is just steps from the terminal, small restaurant inside terminal, gift shop and very helpful and caring staff. Has some good history on display outside terminal as well. Restrooms and other facilities available.

The airport includes a small restaurant that sells postcards, a local book, and tshirts. There are four rental car agencies. Definitely check out the flight times because they're closed during lunch.

It was one of the important relics of WW2 that led the Americans towards victory over Imperial Japan. It was used as a runway for b29 superfortresses especially Enola Gay and Bockscar, and including those malfunctioned b29s that failed to takeoff. Hats off to those brave b29 airmen 🫡

Clean and fast. Can rent a truck here to drive to the historical sites.

The only planes that fly into this airport are the small put put planes that carry two passengers very intimidating at first, but the pilots were very professional and the people there were very accommodating.

Small local airport that supports hourly flights from Saipan for tourists to enjoy the island. Helpful staff. Great little sandwich shop in the terminal.

A/C works well. Good cafe for a snack and no lines for service. Would be better with free WiFi.

It's like stepping into the past. Just a small island airport.
