Innlay Hut Indian Food House(313)

Mentioned on
1 list
Temporarily Closed
Restaurant
Innlay Hut Indian Food House (313) is a popular spot in Nyaungshwe, Myanmar, known for its delicious Indian and Nepalese cuisine. The restaurant is run by Stan and his family, who serve up flavorful and generous dishes like butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, naan, and paneer paratha. Stan's quirky personality adds to the dining experience as he's a huge Eminem fan and has decorated the restaurant with Eminem memorabilia.
The food is so good I ate here twice in three days. The butter chicken, chicken tikka masala, naan, and paneer paratha were all excellent. The chef / owner is quite a character and a fun guy to talk to. As others have mentioned, he’s a huge Eminem fan. Accordingly, he calls himself “Stan,” and the restaurant is decorated with Eminem paraphernalia. Pro tip: make a reservation, as there is limited seating and gets crowded. Go while you can. Stan told me in Feb. 2018 that he was planning to close this restaurant in the near future and open a different one based on another concept.
DN C — Google review
This was really good indian food. Well spiced and prepared. We had yellow dal and some chicken kebab. The owner is really sweet aswell - huge on Eminem. Would definetly come eat here again. Really recommend you go.
Sabrina S — Google review
Tasty Indian food and great atmosphere! Owner love Eminem so design is in Eminem & hip hop style and also feeling rap music in background is cool! Beer has great drinkable cold tempature (yes, in many restaurant in Myanmar serve beer not enough cold, but here is good cold level, you get good cold beer also with cold glass, like it!).
Tomáš V — Google review
Very delicious Indian food. I really recommend the vegetarian Kebab. The place is very peculiar all decorated with Eminem theme and his music. The owner is very funny.
María S — Google review
Best. Food. Ever. accompanied by good vibes and boppin tunes. The hype is real. Stan treats his guests like VIPs and took such good care of me both times I came to his restaurant. If you’re planning on coming for dinner, do yourself a favor and stop by to make a reservation a day or two in advance to ensure you don’t miss out. I can’t recommend coming here enough, so come find out for yourself. Cheers & ENJOY.
Chloe A — Google review
One of the best places I’ve visited so far in Myanmar. Excellent food, good atmosphere, and The BEST Owner/waiter ever!!!! Eminem & Kumar are rocking!!!!
Zoltan M — Google review
Do not go there if you're in a hurry as this is delicious slow food! Almost better than the food is the service, the guy loves rap and you can feel it. Overall the place has a very friendly atmosphere.
Carlos V — Google review
Perfect place for people who like Indian food and love Eminem! Food is delicious and fresh. Butter chicken, paneer cheese masala, chicken masala were great! And the owner is very entertaining and fun :) recommended!

Live Dim Sum House

Mentioned on
3 lists
Temporarily Closed
Restaurant
Nestled on Yone Gyi Road, right across from the Cassiopeia Hotel and close to the Golden Kite Restaurant, Live Dim Sum House stands out as a must-visit dining spot in Inle Lake. This vibrant eatery specializes in Chinese cuisine with a focus on dim sum, and it has quickly become a favorite among locals and travelers alike.
Wow! Our favorite restaurant in Myanmar by far. We kept coming back and tasting more. I cannot believe that a small place in such a small village would never such great dim and duck. This is a must visit if you're around and it's dirt cheap as well
Ron L — Google review
Very delicious Dim Sum. Highly rated and for good reason. Staff are excellent, very attentive and helpful. Prices are good. (+5% tax as standard) 1/2 duck with pancakes, hoisin sauce, cucumber, and onion was 8,000 and sensational. Fried Shanghai dumplings (2,000) were good. The dumpling itself was well made, the filling a little too "meaty" for my liking. Having lived in Shanghai for 3 years I'm a little spoilt for choice, but a great taste for someone who isn't so fussy. Likewise the "pork steamed dumplings" or Xiaolongbao (2,000) were good but could have done with a little less meat inside to allow for more soup. For a place in the middle of Myanmar their standard is excellent. They are served in traditional style baskets and served with a variety of small sauces which is a nice touch. I would definitely return.
Melissa C — Google review
Great food and atmosphere! The prices are very decent. It gets in my opinion 4 stars and not 5 only because there weren’t many vegetarian dim sum options. But besides that, nice and friendly staff! Recommended!
Ziv B — Google review
Fantastic restaurant! I grew up eating dim sum, and while this isn't traditional dim sum, it's certainly delicious. We half duck, steamed dim sum platter, and steamed veggies. The duck was not too fatty, crispy skin, the dim sum very tasty, and the veggies fresh and not over cooked. The sauces added the perfect balance of sweet, salty, and spicy. They also had a promotion for fruit juice which were half off and buy one get one free mojitos. Prices were very reasonable for quality and amount of food. Great place.
Justin C — Google review
The place is small and cosy, the menu is extensive counting a big variety of Asian food. Good relation price - quality. The only inconvenient I see is that they bring all the food at the same time.
Juan Z — Google review
Our favourite place for dim sums and grilled duck. The best grilled duck in Myanmar! Good service and reasonable prices. Highly recommended.
Sarah B — Google review
Food was excellent, the taste was very very delicious. One of the best restaurants around the city. Price is also very good. I like the idea of avoiding plastic and just use sustainable options. Highly recommended place!!!
Carlos — Google review
Really enjoyed LDSH. The restaurant was very busy, which is always a good sign. The food still came out in good time. The dumplings, pan fried or steamed where excellent, and the duck was also delicious. Beers were cold and everything was reasonably priced. Excellent, friendly staff.

Restaurant
Nestled in the charming town of Nyaung Shwe, Thanakha Garden is a delightful escape for those seeking a break from traditional Burmese cuisine. This popular Western restaurant, conveniently located next to the bus station, offers a cozy atmosphere adorned with tasteful decor. Visitors can enjoy an array of dishes that cater to various palates, including Asian and vegetarian options. The inviting ambiance makes it an ideal spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner.
This is my favorite restaurant in Nyaungshwe! The food is delicious, and the service is incredibly kind. Even during the frequent power outages in town, they manage to keep things running, though the lighting can be dim. It’s a enjoyable place to have a meal.
Tibor — Google review
Really nice restaurant! The staff were incredibly friendly. Ordered Shan noodles and chicken wings with tea. The noodles were very tasty, but the chicken wings were breaded which were not to my liking. Price is very reasonable and great location. Solid restaurant.
Justin C — Google review
This restaurant exactly knows how to interact with both locals & foreigners. Staffs can advise what kind of cuisine or dish you would enjoy depending your choice of food. In downtown, it's one of the best restaurants offering much kinds of luscious food in clean & neat surrounding. Not much pricey either but car parking space is too limited.
Nyan A — Google review
Beautiful and quiet place hidden at the corner street with affordably priced and with generous portions. The food is really good and is home made. They are friendly and welcoming and overall it's a good place for a breakfast lunch or dinner. Also, they accept major credit cards such as VISA and Mastercard as payment. If you're in Inle, this shop is a must try. :)
Srieena K — Google review
The best meal I’ve had in Myanmar. Delicious, beautifully presented local and western food in a lovely, clean setting. So impressed that I ate there twice in one day! Very reasonable prices.
Katharine B — Google review
A very plaisant lunch in this adorable and higienic restaurant. The surronding neighbors are pretty fancy(for Nyuang Shawe standard) and this avocado colored resto is well blended with the good houses around. I felt very happy as soon as I found this spot. I ordered a beef curry and tofu fried as a starter. The sélection was fairely nice. The little daughter of this family, she was too cute that I die with her bashful smile. Curry was super good as gulash.
Sue C — Google review
Very nice, clean place! Friendly staff and delicious food! They gave us treats (watermelon and sugarcane pieces) at the end, so thoughtful and good! Totally recommend this restaurant!
Mell A — Google review
The club sandwich is made with fresh ingredients and delicious. They have the best french fries that I have tasted in Myanmar. Friendly service. Reasonable prices. Highly recommended.

Dosa King Restaurant (south & North Indian Food)

Indian restaurant
Dosa King Restaurant is a delightful culinary gem that specializes in both South and North Indian cuisine, offering an authentic taste experience that transports you straight to India. The menu features a variety of mouthwatering dishes such as saag paneer, chicken tikka masala, and butter chicken, all bursting with flavor. Diners rave about the superb dosa options and the cozy atmosphere complemented by friendly service.
Came here on a recommendation and loved it. Ordered heaps of different dishes and nothing let us down. We did six months travelling through India, and this was just as good. Will return!
Grant S — Google review
Had dinner at Dosa King, and ordered butter chicken with garlic naan. Boy, they are fantastic! And this is coming from someone who has lived in India and tried their best delicacies before. Definitely recommended.
Tze P — Google review
Fantastic Indian food! We ordered a saag paneer (cottage cheese in spinach sauce), chicken Tikka masala and butter chicken and they were all really tasty and authentic. Also ordered poori, garlic butter naan, masala thosai and roti which were all really true to the Indian taste (coming from someone who just travelled Sri Lanka a month before). Prices are reasonable considering Inle lake is touristy (~3-4 USD for the meats and 1 USD for the carbs). The lady serving us was really friendly and the food she recommended was really great.
Gabriel T — Google review
Superb authentic South Indian Dosa. Great customer service. Friendly and a cosy place to be. Also caters Jain Vegetarian food, only selected items - Masala Dosa and Paneer Dosa included. I will definitely be back for more on my next visit to Nyaung Shwe. Birju Patel (Leicester, UK)
Birju P — Google review
The Best restaurant in town! We are here 2 times and tried many different dishes and all of them were delicious! The service was very good and all the workers here are super nice and even ask you how spicy you want your food, and after that they are checking if you like the food.
Hen D — Google review
You will see the smiling waiters what anytime you come. Great and local Indian food. I can’t forget the taste.
Williams T — Google review
Can not recommend this place enough! All of the staff are very warm and welcoming. There is a great atmosphere in the restaurant and the food is delicious and the portion sizes are big also! I ordered the lamb rogan josh 🤤👍
Cherrelle W — Google review
Excellent Italian Restaurant! If you can only have one meal in this area, go to Dosa King! No doubts. Delicious food and excellent service.

Restaurant
Nestled in the picturesque surroundings of Inle Lake, Green Chilli Restaurant stands out as a culinary gem that beautifully marries Burmese and Thai flavors. This vibrant eatery is known for its fresh ingredients sourced from the local region, offering dishes that cater to various taste preferences. Diners rave about the bold spices used in their meals, with favorites like tempura vegetables paired with a delectable tamarind sauce and refreshing tomato salad.
The food here was really really tasty. Very spicy (ordered medium spicy) and they use a lot of mint, chili, coriander and garlic. We had a tempura vegtable with tamarin sauce. This sauce was so good! We also had a tomato salad and stire fried rice - very good aswell. The restaurant is a bigger one and a lot of tourist groups seems to come here. The prices are also a bit higher but even though I really recommend you go! We sat outside all the groups are inside.
Sabrina S — Google review
Good food, friendly staff. You get complimentary rice crackers before you even got your orders placed which is quite nice. We got ourselves Pad Thai (mediocre) and Shan Noodles (very delicious). For dessert I got some fried bananas, they were coated and honey was on top, tasted yummy. Prices are a bit higher than elsewhere.
Nikolaus L — Google review
The best restaurant in Inle which I've tried so far. The papaya salad and the deep fried whole fish in sweet chili sauce are really good. Great service too
Hoai L — Google review
Great location, the restaurant is a delicious corner in the green. The staff helps you quickly and they also speak a good english. We tried vegetables mix curry masala and chicken with cashew nuts and rice, food of very good quality. As a dessert, their home made ice cream was really nice. A must try in Nyaung Shwe.
Gianluca M — Google review
Delicious food at Inle Lake I would definitely recommend it! we had tea leaf salad, pad thai and fried rice with chicken and cashews! Also with red house wine. If youre hungry try also the speing rolls!!! Friendly staff too! Love this place!
Macrozl77 — Google review
Such a great restaurant ! Beautiful place, great view, delicious food ! Pad Thai and Coconut chicken curry!
Capucine M — Google review
Good service. Lovely setting in a beautiful green courtyard. Delicious food. Prices are a little higher than a standard restaurant (+15% as standard) but the high quality dishes make up for it.
Melissa C — Google review
Really good food and a fantastic staff. Prices are sky high compared to other restaurants in Myanmar but hey... 25 euro for a top meal for 2 persons, including appetizer and dessert is still a bargain!

Restaurant
Nestled between Pawn Daw Side Road and Yone Gyi Road in Nyaungshwe, Myanmar, Paw Paw Café & Restaurant has been enchanting visitors since its establishment in 2016. This charming tree-house-style eatery is not just a feast for the eyes; it embodies a noble mission as a social enterprise dedicated to funding education for young girls and supporting single mothers. A visit to Paw Paw is truly worthwhile, whether you're nearby or willing to bike the extra mile.
Amazing place, amazing owner. She is really trying to make a change and improve life for local families in the villages. We not just ate here, we also organized our boat trip through the restaurant (the boatman was from a local village and the tour supports his and other families) and it was amazing. Highly recommend stopping by for a bite and a chat!
Esther — Google review
What a gem! Must visit if you're around and if you're not around definitely worth walking/biking here the extra mile😊The owners are such a lovely, welcoming people. The prices are very very reasonable and the food is great! Definitely the best tea leaves salad I have had in Myanmar. The decor of this restaurant is very pleasant with adorable local accents. Also this business helps empowering Burmese women (read the details in the pic I attach). I didn't snap the pics of food because I ate it too fast ;) But I will definitely be back and his time I will take more pics.
Karo — Google review
Very nice the place, food and the staff. But nicer what they do for women from Myanmar, helping them to have a better future. We had a very special dinner for both food and people from the restaurant. A must if you go to the town
Adrián R — Google review
I came because the good reviews in Google maps. Very disappointed. The bananas juice was most water with little banana inside. It wasn't even cold, like drink warm water... The salad chicken was big but not tasty at all... It gets 2 stars & not 1 because the staff are nice & because I sat upstairs & there was a nice view... Not recommended...
Roy — Google review
We spent a lovely evening under the thatched awning having dinner. Yes, the service may be somewhat slower than westerners are used to in a standard restaurant, but there were only two women working the kitchen and we could see them starting to work on our order the moment we placed it. Since we were in no rush, it wasn’t a problem to sit and sip our drinks and enjoy the quiet evening while our food was being prepared. The portions are a little small, but since the menu is so cheap, it wouldn’t be hard to make a hearty meal out of a few different dishes. It’s too bad we were only in town for one night, or we’d be back for another meal.
Fiona — Google review
We waited so long for our food and drinks. It was good, portions a bit small but tasty and fresh. My friend had the avocado-bacon-toast without bacon 🥓 , so I think the price should be a bit less.. The women development project is great and we liked the cat 🐈
Billie — Google review
Great ambient where you can relax for the whole afternoon to enjoy the breeze. Food is slow in making but definitely worth waiting for. The curry is tasty with very rich coconut milk (5000Kyats). The noodle is delicious and ingredients are fresh (2000Kyats). The owner is friendly and English speaking.
Keng S — Google review
We love Zizi and Paw Paw! We came here twice during our short stay in Nyaungshwe and both times we left the menu up to Zizi. The tomato salad pictured was one of the most delicious things I ate in Myanmar, and the potato rice is a perfect comfort food. Definitely make sure your menu includes those! Another delicious item (not pictured) was a creamy noodle dish. We came for the food but we stayed for the company! Zizi is such a wonderful hostess and person. We stayed for hours one night just to talk to Zizi and her mother. They are both delightful and speak excellent English. Zizi is so frank and you can learn a lot about Myanmar from her. Zizi, I hope that you can one day open up your home stay! Good luck!

Bamboo Hut Home Cooking

Restaurant
If you find yourself at Inle Lake, a visit to Bamboo Hut Home Cooking is an absolute must. Nestled in a tranquil setting, this charming restaurant offers an unforgettable dining experience with some of the finest cuisine Myanmar has to offer. During my visit, I was fortunate enough to enjoy the peaceful ambiance as I was one of the only guests there—an experience that made it even more special.
Fantastic food. We had the bean salad, fish curry and steamed whole fish with lime. They were all incredible and in an idyllic setting. If you love good food and you are in the area, you must make the time to go.
Jeremy E — Google review
Delicious food, great service, stunning view and very affordable. We had 2 different great fruit juices, fried bamboo shots which were great, ginger salad, and steamed fish, all were delicious and plated very nicely
Ronni E — Google review
Everyone that visits Inle Lake should go to this restaurant - the location is serene and the food was the best I tasted in Myanmar. Then again, we were the only guests at the restaurant at the time - which made it even more amazing and peaceful. So let's hope this place doesn't become TOO popular!
Jasmine T — Google review
amazing good food and due to low season, we were the only guests.. even the mosquitos left 💙 super friendly staff, highly recommendable! they also offer cooking classes 😊

Cool location and good stop if you’re on a mountain bike ride down the lake. Prices were very good as well. Normal bathroom and beautiful view.

Golden Kite Restaurant

Mentioned on
1 list
Restaurant
Golden Kite Restaurant is a long-standing eatery in Nyaung Shwe, known for its Italian cuisine despite being Burmese-owned. The chatty boss, an Italian enthusiast, learned to cook from tourists and has run the restaurant for 20 years. While it's touristy, the terrace offers a great ambiance. The menu includes Western dishes and local favorites, with friendly staff and delicious desserts like pancake with Belgian chocolate and cashew nuts.
The restaurant is very touristic. The ambient fits best when you sit on the terrace. They are offering western food and local staff. It is really amazing good western style especially the desserts. Pancake with Belgium chocolate and cashew nuts is a dream.
Dirk J — Google review
This restaurant offers a mix of Chinese and Western European dishes. Prices are a bit higher than nearby restaurants, but still reasonable. I tried a Chinese dish, and it was good. Due to the current situation, the restaurant is mostly empty, but it’s still a decent option if you’re looking for variety in Nyaungshwe.
Tibor — Google review
Wifi is very good, and they also have power outlets at the outdoor tables. In the 2 times I have been here, they mixed up orders from almost all the guests. The pizza I ordered was quite burnt.
Wietse ( — Google review
We ended up here because everything else was closed on Thadingyut. The restaurant is clean and the staff speak English well. The pizza tasted like a frozen pizza that you might get in the US, which was a pleasant surprise for me.
Nick T — Google review
Delicious Food but Cheap price.
Aung K — Google review
Myanmar families come to have pizza, Italian travelers come to have Myanmar food here.
Temsak P — Google review
Pizza for 7.500 Kyat. Taste was great but too small
Joshua — Google review
Clean, modern interior with a focus on Italian food. It's more expensive than the local options but this is the best Italian you'll find in the area. Our waitress looked miserable however the owner/manager was all smiles and quite happy to chat about his ingredients and where they were sourced from.

The Shan Noodle & Food House

Mentioned on

Restaurant
The Shan Noodle & Food House is a renowned dining spot in Yangon, known for its fresh and modern take on traditional Burmese cuisine. Situated in a serene location with picturesque views of rice paddies, the restaurant offers various dining options such as picnics in bamboo forests or private dinners in hidden Shan villages. The establishment has garnered praise from both locals and tourists for its delightful dishes like Myanmar Tea leaf salad and Shan noodles.
I came here for the famous sham noodles, but the avocado salad was ultimately stunning. I ordered another one, it was super delicious. Staff was very friendly.
Carlos — Google review
Nice little shan restaurant. 5 stars for the price/quality ratio. We went there in low season, and although the place seems to be intended for westerners there were only local people. The food is good and the portion are just right sized. Try the ginger tea which is by far the best I ever had ! Above all the prices are insanely low (1 dish = 1K khyats). We will come back again.
Jeremy J — Google review
My favourite meal in Nyangshwe and it costed less than 50% of other meals I had during my stay. I tried the Shan Noodles, the Shan style spicy beef noodles, and the fried pounded rice. Everything was delicious, their version of Shan noodles was my favourite from my trip to Myanmar. Very flavourful, good body and well balanced. The Spicy beef noodles was also great, the broth was very nourish and the beef was so tender. When I was there, there were only locals eating or waiting for take outs. Definitely recommended if you are in Nyangshwe.
Steve C — Google review
We had the shan sticky rice noodles with chicken (salad or dry) and it was great. The dish not only tastes very good, but it also costs only 1000 kyats. Recommended!
Alice B — Google review
Tasty noodles 🍜 with coriander ❤️ ! The avocado 🥑 salad was amazing! Couldn’t stop eating!! Staff is also very friendly... Highly recommended 💯!!!

Great local meals with fresh products at cheap prices. The staff was friendly and I had the best Lime Lassi of Myanmar. We paid only 7500 kyats for 4 dishes and 2 drinks. I highly recommend it !

Inle Heart View

Temporarily Closed
Restaurant
Nestled just 200 meters from the main road, Inle Heart View is a delightful family-run restaurant that truly captures the essence of Myanmar's culinary scene. The journey up the hill is rewarded with breathtaking views over the lake, making it an ideal spot for sunset watching. The warm and friendly staff enhance your experience, serving delicious dishes like fish curry and steamed chicken with coconut milk—both accompanied by rice.
Hidden gem! The restaurant is in a quiet area between sugar cane and bananas, food is tasty, fresh, and locally sourced. The owners are very friendly! They also have binoculars for bird watching and magazines and books!
Sila A — Google review
This place is really nice! It has an amazing view over the lake from the terrasse and you can watch the sunset. It is much nicer to go here than the vinery which is nearby. The lady who serves you and do the food is really sweet. She goes and get some of the fruits and leaves from the garden when you order. The cocktails and juices are delicious and the food is also okay. Been here twice while staying i Nyangshwe.
Sabrina S — Google review
Our host recommended this place. The food was so delicious! The family owns this place and they grow fruits in vegetables in their garden. Wonderful fresh avocado, thick mango juice.. And the view is amazing, you can enjoy your food while contemplating lake and mountains, blown by the light breeze...
Vladislav E — Google review
Gorgeous sunset views, attentive staff who explain your meal. We had the Shan set menu, it look a little while to come out, but when it arrived you could see why! Absolutely delicious, fresh food from the garden, an experience not to miss at Inle Lake.
Alison M — Google review
Its a very nice stop for sunset! I was glad to went there, on the way back from Maing Thouk Wooden Bridge, on a bike. The lady was very friendly. Juice was so fresh, and many options, avocado, banana, lime, orange, and strawberry, which I ordered, super fresh, and served with snacks! I also had Inle Crush, rum with lime etc. I left after sunset, and made it back to center before dark.
Jocelyn C — Google review
There is a good reason why this restaurant wins the reviews here and on TripAdvisor. It is located some 200m from the main road, and a while of walking up the hill is so well worth! The staff of this family restaurant is so nice, the prices are more than reasonable and we even got a dessert for free - some banana cake. We had fish curry and steamed chicken with coconut milk, both with rice, and it was the best I have tasted in Myanmar so far. Yet there is a huge bonus - the views! Even better than from the winery. You will definitely enjoy the views from the terrace sitting on comfy chairs. I highly recommend.
Jana R — Google review
It is tucked away from the main road. Food is super fresh (like just-picked-from-the-farm fresh). The view is amazing as well.
Linn M — Google review
After reading all the reviews I was eager to give this place a shot myself. I was not disappointed at all. The food was delicious, the family running this place was amazing and so friendly and of course the view during sunset was stunning. Can highly recommend this restaurant!

Transportation in Nyaungshwe

Getting around Nyaungshwe can be a little daunting if you’re new here. We can help list some of the major public transportation methods if you don’t want to rely on a car.

Nearby airports

Heho Airport

Domestic airport
In a way, this is a historical airport. Very small by Western standards... Check-in, security is fast, locals sell fresh fruits. Across the street, there is a local place that sells food, drinks. Bathrooms are bit dirty, and its a sit down toilet.
Sarang K — Google review
One of the tiniest airports I’ve ever been to. But it’s convenient. There are a few shops to buy snacks. Everything is very 80s. But this ‘city’ doesn’t need a bigger airport. Especially now with hardly any tourists coming because of the coup. It’s only 40min to get to Nyaung Shwe. So Heho is your gateway to Inle Lake - unless you take a taxi from Mandalay
Christian B — Google review
Heho Airport is a low-traffic airport due to the current situation. Entry to the airport premises requires a valid flight booking—otherwise, waiting is only allowed outside the gate. Inside, facilities are minimal, with just one small café in the transit area. It’s a simple but functional airport for those traveling in the region.
Tibor — Google review
Interesting airport mainly for domestic travel to Heho along with Inle Lake tourist traffic. Guys will get your luggage for you and bring it to car for 3000 chats (about £2) if you give receipts from the check in on your boarding pass. Small terminal but sells lovely coffee in the coffee shop. Interesting place to visit and people watch.
Sam M — Google review
Very very very small airport. The taxi is only way to enter downtown if not required the hotel shuttle. Toilet isn’t clean but information is friendly and speak English well.

Small airport but everything goes very fast. You can also bring your water inside so that’s very nice. In the waiting room you can buy little snacks , wine , souvenirs , drinks , ... water cost 1000

Heho (黑河)airport is locate above sea level 3858 feet(1176m). In dry season, always with fog early in the morning, probably causing flight delay . I was told my flight would be delay due to foggy weather. However, the flight was departed on time after fog gone. Always checking situation by yourself. It is a Small airport but quite busy in the morning. Outside Heho airport entrance is a bus terminal. .There is a air ticket counter in the airport lobby, probably also selling bus ticket.

A little airport with some shops and a take-away café after the security check. Better bring cash if you wanna buy things. This airport is the gate to Kalaw and Inle.
