Italian restaurant
La Vigna Di Alberto is a renowned restaurant in Barano d'Ischia, known for its farm-to-table experience and stunning views. Situated high above Lacco Ameno, the restaurant boasts its own vineyards and vegetable gardens, reflecting Chef Alberto Iacono's dedication to organic farming and sustainable cuisine. Guests can indulge in a variety of dishes, from handmade pastas to grilled meats and seasonal vegetables, all prepared with fresh ingredients.
Went jul24. don’t take online, WhatsApp or email booking - by phone only. Don’t speak English, so booking is hard for some of us. Restaurant not sign posted, just a door bell. There is a car park but it only takes cash and Italian only instructions . An Italian friend booked over the phone for us, but when we got there, there was no sign of our booking. Kindly they managed to squeeze us in. This is an extremely local , old school restaurant- one of only a handful on the island . They produce their own red wine, but I’m afraid it wasn’t to my taste. We were served the mixed starters before sitting down and before being shown any menu. The starters consisted of four or five mixed courses including mussels and tomato sauce, pizza, bread and mozzarella with tomatoes. we were presented a menu for the main course and I ordered pasta with a fillet steak. However a sirloin steak arrived which was a lower price point on the menu, however they still charged the price of the fillet steak. Steak was under-seasoned - tried asking for salt and pepper a few times but it didn’t arrive, so steak went uneaten. In summary a fantastically beautiful and local restaurant though quite challenging for non-Italian speakers.

WOW. We had a great experience here. This was something different. This was BY FAR our favorite spot on our trip to Ischia! We had accidentally found this restaurant, thanks to google maps, reading the positive reviews and have tried to see the „old Italien school“ restaurant. Entrance is a little difficult to find, one must ring at to enter. Accidentally, we got a table without reservation and so many great things to say! The food was absolutely delicious and so very fresh. The staff were so kind and welcoming. We loved the atmosphere with live music and overall location. Stunning view from above we had. Highly recommended.
Nathalie K — Google review
The food was excellent! The mushroom risotto was the best dish we have had in our vacation. The music and vibes were amazing. We really enjoyed our dinner there. They got us three appetizers, and we got to choose the main dishes and the dessert from a set menu. If you want to try authentic italian dishes, this is the place that you should visit!
Haneen B — Google review
An authentic experience. Any tourist who doesn't understand that old school Italian authenticity should probably stay away. No compromises here. They do what they do and do it well.
Steve D — Google review
Mystic place with wonderful atmosphere, delicious food and kind service. Local food, bus stop is in front of the restaurant.
Desislava S — Google review
A great experience with amazing food and friendly staff. A true hidden gem. Worth the drive up the hill. Keep an eye out for the gate though, there is a big car park opposite.
Oscar S — Google review
Food was amazing, the atmosphere is also mesmerizing. However the staff could be a bit more smiling and welcoming. Personally for me it felt a bit awkward. The wine that they produce tastes amazing! It is written online that they take card, but when you go there the first think they say is that they take only cash! You also don’t get a lot of food for the money! Dishes are not kid friendly, since they are chilli/peppery. Overall ok experience, concerning taste and location, but I would not go there again.
Dima G — Google review
The restaurant is situated at a very nice and different location with views from the island's mountains. The menu is fixed with a limited amount of choices, but is designed in order to have them all work together extremely well. All of the dishes we got to try were very good and all of the portion sizes were abundant. We received various appetizers, some bottles of water, pasta, risotto, meat, sausages, and three different desserts and ended up paying a stunning low bill of 60€ for 2 people. The staff was very friendly and service was extremely fast and efficient.

Saturnino is a renowned restaurant located in Forio, Ischia, offering an elegant dining experience with breathtaking sea views. With over five decades of history, this establishment celebrates the island's culinary heritage by blending traditional recipes with modern techniques. The menu, curated by Chef Antonio Mazzella, showcases inventive dishes deeply rooted in local flavors.
Fabulous. Atmosphere, staff and food were great. Lucky enough to sit by the kitchens and witness the chefs at work, and they were more than willing to come out and see how we were getting on. A real highlight amongst many other restaurants we tried along the Amalfi coast.
Ian B — Google review
Possibly the best restaurant I have been to in Italy. Service and food top quality. Price appropriate. Would come back in a blink.
Steve D — Google review
An amazing place, with delicious food and incredible hospitality! We had lunch at Saturnino and finally got to taste the local rabbit anf were totally charmed. Thank you, you are doin a great job! Also, I need to mention the bathroom, because not only was it beautifully decorated, but the “melograno” fragrance from Dr. Vranjes made it like a magic place.
Radoslava S — Google review
Best food we had in ischia. The service was great, super friendly staff. Delicious food and well priced. We highly recommend. We took the rabbit which was amazing, the octopus and the swordfish.
Paul W — Google review
From start to finish the experience was divine. View beautiful, service amazing and food divine.
Katie M — Google review
This is my favorite restaurant on Ischia. This was actually the second time we ate here, and it was even better than two years ago. We had the set menu, portions were generous and each of the courses had distinct flavours. We paired it with a lovely bottle of a local natural wine (Bajola). Our dinner was genuinely exciting and outpaced the other Michelin guide restaurant in the town of Forio. When we return to Ischia, returning here is a no-brainer!
Bob B — Google review
Everything was delicious. Tasty and yet delicate. The restaurant is curated into the very details, looking perfect for any kind of event. The staff is attentive and nice.
Elisabetta O — Google review
We had chef’s tasting menu (4 courses and dessert,65€) - it was amazing, super innovative fish dishes. If you want a non-standard Italian dining experience, I highly recommend it. The service was also excellent- friendly, polite, with dishes coming one after the other but not too quickly. Enjoyed it a lot. You have to reserve in advance in a summer season because there aren’t so many tables and it gets full!

Ristorante Pizzeria la Bella Napoli al Porto

Pizza restaurant
Ristorante Pizzeria la Bella Napoli al Porto has a rich history, with its roots tracing back to the opening of the first La Bella Napoli by Chef Serafino in Monterone in December 1980. The restaurant quickly gained popularity for its delicious cuisine and mouthwatering pizzas. After 30 years, Ciro and his friend Leopoldo revived the renowned name by opening Ristorante Pizzeria la Bella Napoli al Porto.
As if these guys needed my praises: the whole gang is so pleasant and relaxed, attentive and helpful, and despite its prime tourist venue location it offers an extremely good value for money. It’s not cheap if you go beyond pizzas and such but every euro extra is worth it. The food is of the highest standard, creative and traditional at once, the house tagliatelle with porcini and squid floored me and the pistachio ricotta biscuit cup was the coup de grace that rolled me over to the Spiaggia di Chiaia like a contented pussycat after 💝
Christopher P — Google review
Will not even exaggerate saying it's in the current top-3 of my favourite restaurants. I visited it at the end of March, right after the opening. Been the only visitor, warmly met by staff and had absolutely wonderful and chill time. Tried a delicate tasting seafood pasta with a nice local wine, complimented by delicious bread. Great experience and my absolute recommendation
Yevhen K — Google review
Incredibly fresh seafood and very attentive staff—a special shoutout to Dayel who was a great waiter all around!
Keren L — Google review
Amazing pizza, we didn’t book and they were happy to squeeze us in! Best pizza we had in Italy!

Yummy pizza, tasty/fresh salad, and squid pasta with pistachio pesto! Good, quick service.

Simply put... the BEST PIZZA I HAVE EVER PUT IN MY MOUTH!! Trust me, you HAVE to try this. Reservations are a must!!
David L — Google review
This is hands down some of the best Italian food I've ever had. Don't give this place a miss. We had various different dishes including fish, steak, pizza and pasta and all were absolutely delicious and cooked to perfection. The service was also brilliant and I'd love to come back here again sometime. Thanks again!
Edward W — Google review
PRICES: me and a friend had a bill of 70 euros including water, glass of wine, mixed grilled fish, big salad, mozzarella and fried squids (check my pictures), a babà and coffee. CONS: the price of a mixed fish grill is pretty expensive for southern Italy standards, specially about price/amount ratio. PROS: the food is great, the service is very fast, polite and available. Many good options in the menu. Place is well located, clean and with great atmosphere.

Daní Maison is not just a restaurant; it's Nino's home, transformed into a place of beauty and pampering for his customers. It's a place to be spoiled, enjoy a great dinner without worrying about the technicalities of the chef, who has put aside his professionalism to fully dedicate himself to his guests. With six tables inside and an equal number in the garden, every guest can experience both settings during the evening.
Absolutely amazing experience. Our first Michelin star restaurant experience. We had lunch, the chefs choice. They were accommodating to my inability to have fish. Every course was delicious. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Also gave great recommendations for wine to order. Some surprises along the way and much more food than I had expected. We left very satisfied.

Superb dining experience. Incredible attention to service and detail. Completely set the highest standard for what fine dining can be. We were wowed by the imaginative menu, the deliciousness of the food, the serveware and elevated style, just all! Could not recommend more. Also Mateo - the host and head server - was a complete riot. Made the whole experience memorable.

Such a special place! The attention to detail, the quality of food, service and creativity were so worth the stars.

Best dining experience I’ve ever had. Chef Nino Di Costanzo is a true artist. Every dish, and every detail of the restaurant are from the heart and excellently executed. Our servers were phenomenal and genuine, Matteo who was hilarious and greeted us and toured the garden, our main server, I want to say Grace but I’m so sorry I can’t remember your name - we loved you very much! - and Davide, the somm who showed us the wine cellar. Thank you all so much for making my birthday and our honeymoon so special.
Romy C — Google review
we had the pleasure of dining at this Michelin-starred restaurant last night, and we were absolutely blown away. The food was incredible, the service was impeccable, and the atmosphere was simply magical. The restaurant is located in a small, romantic setting with only 4 tables. The garden is absolutely stunning, with beautiful flowers and plants, and a stunning view of the city. The food is innovative while still portraying traditional Italian cuisine, with a focus on using fresh, seasonal ingredients. The dishes are beautifully presented, and the flavors are simply incredible. We had the tasting menu, and loved every single course.
Kaden S — Google review
What can I say? The drive to this restaurant felt like Frodo and Sam’s trek to Mordor—except our quest was for some truly fancy POH-TAH-TOES. And yes, it was absolutely worth it. If you’ve done your homework, you already know this place deserves its 2 stars. If you’re on the fence, don’t be—it’s the real deal. No food pics here; they wouldn’t do it justice. You’ll just have to experience it for yourself.
Bruce L — Google review
I don’t think that words could do justice to our experience - and it was an experience, not just a meal - at Dani Maison. From the second we walked in, we were immersed in the most stunning setting. Every element of the night was perfection. It’s a night we’ll never forget!!

(Translated by Google) This place is a little piece of paradise, located on the heights of the island. From the view, through the service, the food, the magnificent swimming pool and its outdoor spaces from which you have an unparalleled view of the sea and the sunsets, everything invites you to relax and enjoy. Beyond the sublime setting, the hosts make you feel at home in the middle of their vineyard and their animals (who are never left behind for a caress). We can only recommend this place which is a wonderful and magical break on the beautiful island of Ischia.

(Translated by Google) The La Pergola farmhouse is the choice for a holiday where the guest and hospitality are at the center. Giosuè was able to create an oasis of tranquility where you can enjoy the beauty of this island. You will be surrounded by nature, made up of vineyards and fruit trees, from which he takes the raw materials of his Ischian cuisine. In fact, here at Giosuè you can eat all the typical products he produces from breakfast to dinner. Special mention goes to the fig and strawberry jam, tuna in oil and Ischia-style rabbit but there are also vegetarian options with vegetables from his garden. Spectacular view with Ventotene, Ponza and Palmarola on the horizon and unique sunsets over the sea... The swimming pool is also beautiful where you can relax when returning from the sea. The farmhouse is located a few minutes from the center of Forio and Citara beach. We rented a car and from here we explored the whole island with ease. The comfortable and spacious room with terrace overlooking the sea... Choosing Giosuè's farmhouse means having the entire island of Ischia at your fingertips. Advised! Scegliere l'agriturismo di Giosuè è avere a portata di mano tutta l'isola di Ischia. Consigliato!

(Translated by Google) Top stay! Beautiful views, nice pool and great service. We stayed here for 4 days. A real corner of relaxation. We were able to relax properly, have a good time in the pool and enjoy an incredible sunset. Every morning we were treated to a royal breakfast! We also ate in the evening, I recommend doing this at least once during your stay. Whether it's breakfast or the restaurant, everything is fresh and you can feel it! Concerning the situation, we had not rented anything to get around relying on the numerous buses. Even if the island remains well served, the buses are often crowded and if you want to get around on foot, the streets are absolutely not suitable for pedestrians, the cars brush against you, it remains dangerous. In addition, the hotel being a little isolated (which allows for calm and an incredible view) I recommend renting a small car or a scooter for more freedom! Regarding the rooms, they are spacious, large and pleasant. On the other hand, the walls are made of paper so if you come across noisy adults or a large family... it can get complicated. In short, I recommend ++++ because even with the small flaws it remains a magical place! We will come back!

(Translated by Google) Terrible experience, old and cramped rooms. They changed our room because the first one was very small. The other room was a little larger, but still old and the toilet never flushed (we filled the bucket every time we flushed). After many complaints, on the last day they sent a maintenance man to fix it. On the first day, they forgot to make up the room and the reception didn't even know, and the room smelled like sewer. The hotel doesn't feel like a 4-star and is 900 meters from the sea. The service in the restaurant was very good and excellent management and professionalism from the head waiter Gabriele, very helpful and smiling, as were all the waiters. The food was good. For three days we had to walk up four floors because the elevator was broken. Another negative note: the reception staff never smiles and whenever we asked for something, they seemed annoyed. (Original) Pessima esperienza, camere vecchie e strette.

(Translated by Google) We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. Overall, the experience was positive, but there were a few drawbacks: Pros: Excellent location: close to Via Roma and Piazza degli Eroi, with excellent bus connections. Truly excellent breakfast, highly recommended. The pools and Kneipp path are beautiful, well-maintained, and very quiet. Cons: The rooms leave much to be desired: dated furnishings, cramped spaces, and a windowless bathroom. Upon our arrival, in addition to the air conditioning not working, we also found a slight pungent odor (a problem shared by other guests, likely due to the exhaust). The air conditioning problem was handled with little promptness: reported at 3:00 PM, it had still not been fixed by 6:00 PM, and no technician had even come. Only after several reminders and a new report at midnight was the problem finally resolved the next day, without even an apology for the incident, as if nothing had happened. Sheets and bath towels were never changed, as were the bedsheets. Cleaning was superficial, almost nonexistent. The front desk could be more attentive: a smile and a less defensive attitude toward guests' comments would really make a difference. Conclusion: The hotel has an excellent location, good services, and a good breakfast, but the rooms and customer service definitely need improvement. Colazione davvero eccellente, assolutamente consigliata. Piscine e percorso Kneipp belli, curati e molto tranquilli. Aspetti negativi: Le camere lasciano a desiderare: arredamento datato, spazi ristretti, bagno senza finestra.

My room had a very nice and comfortable terrace, it was clean, and the bathroom had windows—it certainly wasn't recently renovated—but it was still okay. The outdoor pool could use some updating, but the indoor one is very beautiful and impressive. Let's move on to the food: breakfast wasn't anything special, especially since the cold cuts and cheese were absolutely inedible. Lunches and dinners were good (neither great nor bad). The real highlight of the hotel was definitely the waiter Giovanni, a true Ischian, who pampered and entertained us with his kindness throughout our stay. A positive experience, especially considering the price paid. It's definitely not a 4-star hotel (it needs some updating), but it's still a decent, clean establishment with a good location (the bus stop is just a few meters away).

(Translated by Google) We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights; the experience was mixed: the first day began with a hot room due to a faulty air conditioning, which is perfectly normal. It's unfair that we reported the problem at 3:30 PM and it was fixed the next day, resulting in a very hot night (we were told the technician worked until 8:30 PM, which wasn't true, as we discovered it stopped working at 5 PM). The rooms are cramped, and the air conditioner, combined with a faulty bathroom (apparently shared by all the rooms), makes them smelly upon return. The room itself feels dingy, and I'd also like to point out the very narrow shower. The splendid aspect of this hotel, besides the sublime breakfast buffet of sweets, is definitely the varied and clean spa. It's a hotel with so much potential, worthy of a 100, but it's being managed at a 20. A real shame.

(Translated by Google) I stayed at the Hotel Isola Verde for a weekend and, unfortunately, the experience didn't live up to my expectations. The room I was assigned was very small, more suitable for one person, and the bathroom was truly impractical: the space was so limited that it was difficult to move around without bumping into the fixtures, despite my slim build. I also noticed some maintenance issues, such as a hole in the door, damaged baseboards from which ants would crawl in the evening, and worn fixtures. Furthermore, the bed didn't seem perfectly clean, which should be a priority in a hotel. Lunch was decent, but the dining room service seemed lacking in empathy and customer service. Constructive suggestion: with greater attention to cleanliness, room maintenance, and a more friendly approach in the dining room, the hotel could truly offer a more pleasant experience, in line with the expectations of those who choose Ischia for relaxation and comfort.

The furnishings are old, broken, and dated (when there are any), and the bathrooms and toilets should be used with care, as they're at least 40 years old. Not all rooms have a window with a great view. I had a beautiful wall that greeted me every morning, and some bathrooms don't even have one. Cleanliness needs updating. Lighting, refrigerator, and air conditioning need replacing because they don't work. There's a tiny safe in the closet, but it's just thrown out there, unsecured, so anyone can take it away....useless! The manager is incapable of a smile or a kindness (you can recognize him by his brown suit), incapable of managing customers or being friendly. If you look for him, he's gone, but he's the first one to eat in the restaurant. Then you never see him again, he disappears into his office, and if you insist on telling him a problem, he says you attacked him. (He should change jobs.) The hotel's only delights are the outdoor pool, provided it's cleaned of mud and moss, and the indoor thermal pool, which is truly lovely. The restaurant is excellent, the food is good, the waiters are knowledgeable and attentive, but a few more grams in the meals wouldn't hurt. Breakfast is a bit lacking in variety, and the savory portions are either nonexistent or inedible. In conclusion, 4 stars deserved for the aesthetics (even if it's all plasterboard).....but 2 stars if you go inside....to be demolished and redone from scratch, in the brochures they show 2 rooms that are reserved for special customers, the rest are stables..

Otherwise, I'd like to point out the misleading advertising they're giving this place. For us, it was a waste of 4 days of our vacation! Luckily, the walk to Ischia Porto was pleasant. Booked ahead to have a lunch & 2 seats for a swim & lounge - did not disappoint! Food was amazing, fresh produce. We got the specials & 2 mains - everything was delicious. Service was great & everything was perfect. To top it off - turns out that they had already reserved our seats at the island, which was the best spot! ❤️ Thanks so much for an amazing day.

2 days in a row! And definitely coming back. Giorgio provided the best service ever. He was super sweet, fun and very professional. My favourite waiter in Italy! 💕 Such a beautiful place with the nicest staff. Mauro and Tatiana were friendly and so welcoming.

We had a phenomenal dining experience here. On a night where the seas were rough - we by chance got blessed to dine with the place to ourselves. From the wine, to the food, to the service, we couldn’t thank the team enough. This has been our best evening in Ischia! A gardenia between two thorns..

We just went there to have aperitivo. The place location is perfect. The view is looking to napoli procida. I love the view. The drinks were good too. But aperitivo variety was very limited. They could have added a few more different things. There is a parking lot above the venue. The staff was kind and helpful. We paid 21 euros for 2 drinks.

The servers in the restaurant were a little pretentious. One of them was friendly, the others were not. They brought me the wrong entree and i said “that’s not what i ordered” and this pushy/grumpy server said “it’s good, you will like it” instead of sorry??? Bc it took so long i went along w it. Food was fresh and good, we still had fun. It wasn’t transparent they automatically charge you per person for the beach club on our lunch bill. We didn’t want 5 chairs, only 2 but they tried to charge us 100€. …they need share that info upfront. I’m ok w spending more but i think better service is expected at these prices.

I can only give this beach club 5 stars! It was exceptional. It is truly the most magical garden by the sea and if I could I would have spent every day here. Absolutely worth a visit. Great location, fantastic value for money, lovely staff who managed to accommodate us without a reservation. Great food and service (by Marco). This was not an obnoxious type beach club - it had a great vibe and was relaxing.

Dream Stay! Incredible service from Mauro:From the moment we arrived, he took care of ordering a taxi for us. He made sure to introduce us to Ischia and all the must-see spots. Throughout our stay, he helped us organize our trips, even going so far as to fetch croissants for us from town in the morning. The location is idyllic; we felt perfectly isolated from the more touristy center of Ischia. The food was delicious.

I stayed at an airbnb on the property and can say these are some of the kindest and caring people you will meet!! I stepped on a sea urchin my last day here and not only did they offer helpful remedies for the sting, they also regularly came by our patio to check on me for the next several hours. I can't comment on the food (great coffee and apertivo though) as we didn't get a chance to have a meal there but they could not have been kinder!!! The water and beach club are absolutely stunning. 10/10 place and 100/100 people!

Ristorante Cantine Pietratorcia is a renowned winery with two restaurants on Ischia, one nestled among the vineyards of Panza and the other in Forio. The restaurant offers an intimate and charming setting away from the island's resorts, providing top-notch service and excellent food. The wine selection includes the famous native Ischitan wine, Biancolella, known for its heroic viticulture due to its inaccessible vineyard locations.
Great restaurant. Good location and view, happy waitress, everything we ate is local

The best eggplant parmigiana I’ve ever had in my life (coming from a vegetarian who always orders this dish everywhere). The family who owns the place is so sweet. We went for lunch and dinner (it was that good), and neither disappointed. Their house wine selection was also delicious (we tried all of them), and the atmosphere is exactly what you would wish a place like this to look like. I can’t wait to go back. Thank you for the hospitality, for the dedication at what you do, and for keeping your roots. Grazie mille 🫶🏻

Since I live in Naples, my expectations are kind of high. I made a great search to find this restaurant but the food wasn’t perfect. It was good but not perfect. To begin with, octopus carpaccio was mid, combining it with corn was weird. The squid was also mid but the pumpkin sauce was good. Gnocchi lacked salt, it was also very mid. The best thing was the gamberi I tried. The atmosphere and the environment was very good. 2 antipasti, 1 pasta, 2 secondi and 1 bottle of wine was 150 euros.

We were able to get a last minute reservation here and it could not have turned out to be a better night. Luigi, Vanessa, and Antonio were so fun and inviting. From wine recommendations to giving us some fresh grapes from the vineyard to taste, they truly made our experience a 10/10. Would highly recommend ❤️

My husband and I enjoyed our last dinner on Ischia at this lovely family owned and operated restaurant. The atmosphere, wait staff and food were all top notch. We enjoyed the Eggplant Parmigiana, the pasta was perfectly cooked and the special fried Cod with caramelized onion and ginger carrot sauce was spectacular. Their homemade Lemon cake and Chocolate Lava cake were a decadent way to end the meal.

A big surprise to us. Really good food. Maybe even the best parmigiana I ever had. Fish on point. Wines of course also since that is their main competence. We saw the kitchen crew. Very sympathetic people. Service was also top notch. She could easily handle a Guide Michelin restaurant with her presence. Very nice rural area. PS: During the last years, I saw many overrated restaurants across Italy. Restaurant where people with just a few reference points said "best food ever". Oftentimes I left these restaurants from simple Osterie to Michelin disappointed. Here, I can say that this restaurant is underrated. They want to impress.

An absolute gem right on the beach! Gino is a wonderful family-run Italian restaurant with the friendliest staff and a lively, welcoming atmosphere. Their homemade bruschettas are out of this world—fresh, flavorful, and made with real care. You can taste the authenticity in every bite. The location is unbeatable—right on the sandy beach with beautiful views and a relaxed seaside vibe. Whether you’re popping in for a quick bite or settling in for a sunset dinner, Gino makes you feel right at home. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and love good food, great service, and genuine Italian hospitality!

We had a great time at Gino’s, sitting right next to the sea during sunset. We enjoyed the best bruschetta we’ve ever eaten, Gino and the whole staff were genuinely friendly, the whole place felt so authentic. We would always come back!

We arrived with a family of 3, and asked if we could sit in a table of 4, which had 2 tables together. We were told no, that it is for bigger company. After us came a party of 3, and they were okay to sit to that table. We ordered 8 euros lasagnes and it came out from the microwave, so we really didn't feel to try any bruschetta or anything else after that. And won't be returning.

Probably the best bruschetta in our trip in this small unassuming place. Massive portion, fresh and tasty. We also had the pasta pomodoro and a salad. Drinks were reasonable, service was quick!

Guys if you are near by you have to come and enjoy the great food. The owner is so friendly and nice and makes you feel at home. First time we came when the grill was off but we had the best bruschetta I’ve ever had. So it was so worth it, as well the the drinks are cheap and great. Second time we came we had paninis which are fantastic. You can’t go wrong with this place, it’s cheap, authentic and delicious. ( we bit into our food before the picture because it looked so good )

Thank you Gino for the great service and perfect food. Very nice! Big plates, he even stopped us before we ordered too much. Fries are good. The second time we went, we shared one plate, french fries and it was enough for a quick lunch. Very cheap and delicious. Recommended 100%!

Naples International Airport

International airport
Airport
Naples International Airport, also known as Naples Capodichino Airport, is the main airport in Campania offering both domestic and international flights. The airport features duty-free shops, rental car services, and convenient city bus links. From Naples, travelers can easily access Rome by train for a day trip or explore the captivating attractions within the region of Campania.
Naples Airport is a small but efficient airport that offers a surprising number of daily flights to destinations around the world on a variety of airlines. Its compact size makes it easy to navigate—you can get from one part of the airport to another quickly, and going through immigration is usually fast and smooth. While it doesn’t have all the amenities you might find at a larger international airport, the essentials are covered. Signage is generally clear, and if you do need assistance, the staff are helpful and approachable. Overall, a convenient and pleasant airport experience.
Eric F — Google review
Over the past three years, I’ve traveled several times from and to Naples International Airport. Overall, I would describe it as a medium-sized airport with fairly average accessibility. The journey from the city center typically takes about 20 minutes by taxi, or between 30 to 40 minutes by bus, depending on traffic conditions. One of the airport’s strengths is its layout—navigating from the entrance to the check-in desks is straightforward and doesn’t require much walking, which is convenient, especially if you're carrying luggage. However, one notable drawback is the signage. Directions to the gates can be confusing, particularly because many of them are located on the first or second floors, and the signs aren’t always clearly marked. In terms of amenities, there are plenty of restaurants and cafes scattered throughout the airport. Most are located before the check-in area, before security, and also within the gate zones. However, unlike many modern airports, I couldn’t find any access to free tap water, which was a bit disappointing. On the bright side, food and drink prices are relatively reasonable. For instance, a bottle of water costs around €2, which is quite affordable compared to other European airports. One area where the airport could improve is customer service. It’s not easy to find staff members to ask for help, and information desks are not always visible or accessible. Despite this, my overall experience at the airport—both for arrivals and departures—has been generally positive. For example, today it took me just 40 minutes to get from check-in through security and to my gate, which is quite efficient for an airport of this size. All things considered, I’d say Naples Airport offers a decent travel experience, with a few areas that could benefit from better organization and clearer signage.
Islam S — Google review
This airport is well organized and lovely. It is clean, with lots of food, drink, and shopping options, and we love that they have couches in the waiting areas for maximum comfort and that work great for taking a nap. I am happy with the design of the airport and that everything is close together.
Mateja R — Google review
A clean and bright terminal. No too large, either. Lots of food and shopping options. You should enjoy flying through this terminal. Nice cafe is just outside the Terminal building, and taxi/pick up areas are only a few, convenient steps away
Darrell B — Google review
Absolutely the worst airport we have ever been too. People with kids be AWARE!!!! This airport kicks everyone out at 12am regardless if you have kids or not. The airlines need to give warning about this ridiculous policy at this “international airport”. I am waiting with my kids outside waiting for them to reopen, not even any setups outside where people can opt to rest while waiting. People were even sleeping under a playground setup due to the lack of organization with this airport.
Gabriela M — Google review
This airport should be avoided at all costs. The last bus to the airport leaves the station at 11:58 p.m., and the first bus in the morning leaves at 5 a.m., so to catch our 6 a.m. flight, we had to take the night bus. The airport closes from 10:30 p.m. to 4 a.m. for “security reasons” without specifying on its website the law that dictates this rule. The only place to rest is on the uncovered benches outside, so if it rains, you have to book a room at the hotel next door, which offers overnight accommodation. Naples is truly a world apart, in a very negative way.
Maria — Google review
im giving it one star because i cant give 0. i have never in my life had such a horrible experience with an airport. My flight was in the middle of the night and because there was no public transport then i came in the evening. However the airport closes. AND PEOPLE GET KICKED OUT TO THE STREET. It’s October, its cold, it was raining, and the airport employees literally kicked everyone out. There were older people, babies, in the cold and rain at 1am, with no bathroom or place to get food or water near. People huddled together for warmth. it was horrific. I am never EVER coming back to this hell of a place
Daniela N — Google review
The worst airport experience. Naples Airport closes from 22:30 to 03:30 and kicks everyone out. No toilets, no heating, and nothing to eat or drink. They claim it’s for “security” and because there are no night flights, but my flight was at 6AM, so I was supposed to be there by 3AM as recommended however the airport was locked. The last bus from the city to the airport is at 23:58, so we arrived early thinking we could wait inside. Instead, we were stuck outside in the cold with no services. Taxis are very expensive, so there’s no affordable way to arrive later.
