Rudaki Park was one of the highlights of my time in Dushanbe. Located in the heart of the city, it’s more than just a park. It’s a beautifully designed public space that blends nature, history, and culture all in one. As I walked through the wide, clean paths, I was surrounded by perfectly trimmed gardens, elegant fountains, and striking statues, including the impressive monument of Abu Abdallah Rudaki, whom the park is named. The park had a lively but relaxed atmosphere. Families, students, and tourists all shared the space, some sitting on benches enjoying the view, others taking pictures or simply passing through. What I really appreciated was how well-maintained everything was—it felt safe, welcoming, and full of pride. With the Presidential Palace nearby and views of the city’s beautiful architecture, Rudaki Park is not just a place to relax, but also a great spot to feel the cultural heart of Dushanbe. I highly recommend visiting, especially in the evening when the fountains light up and the air cools down, it’s truly magical.

A large monument for the founding father of Tajikistan. It’s very large and impressive. There’s also a park nearby if you feels like going for a walk.

The Monument of Ismail Samani in Dushanbe is stunning and symbolic. Surrounded by a beautiful park, it stands as a proud tribute to Tajik history. The design is impressive, especially when illuminated at night, making it one of the city’s most iconic landmarks.

Free and not possible to oversee it is impressive for sure and yeah it is worth it seeing the whole Region is quite nice and fancy! More then you expect Tajikistan have to offer so its very nice actually the whole City is quite nice!

I ordered one "super family"-size mushroom pizza. Waiter objected on the grounds that I was solo (with the implication that it would be "impossible" for one person to eat the pizza in its entirety). After much back and forth, he relented and placed my order. As you can see, the radius of the "super family"-size pizza is the length of a standard fork))) The dough was fine except for the edges of two slices that were burned; I cut those burnt crusts off. At least the bottom of the pizza was not burnt. Unfortunately, the quantity of mushroom was small and insufficient; very stingy. Individual pieces of mushroom where not slices of a whole mushroom but bits of slices making for very small pieces. At least there was mozzarella cheese but the quantity again lagged (although not to the extent of the before-mentioned mushroom deficiency). I think Bella Pizza uses quality ingredients just that the quantity used of these ingredients is parsimonious. In short, for 132 somoni before service charge (10%), the customer gets oven-baked dough in the main. I would have preferred to have paid more money, say 185 somoni, and have gotten a pizza with more of the ingredients I would expect on a pizza. The "family"-size pizza is about the size of a standard pizza in New York or a large pizza in the Arabian Gulf. Bella Pizza apparently serves regular crust, not thin crust, pizza. [With respect to which type of crust, I am indifferent.] I waited about 20 minutes for the pizza. That was totally acceptable. There were no condiments on the table. I brought my own crushed red chili pepper and mix white/red/black peppercorns that I crushed and distributed on top of the pizza. I thought the ambiance was pleasant. I wanted a change from beef/lamb/chicken that I am eating in substantial quantities every day: beef/lamb at Tajiki and Afghani restaurants and lamb/chicken at Indian and Iranian restaurants. After this "pizza," suffice it to say, I shall just stick toTajiki/Afghani/Indian/Iranian restaurants and defer pizza till I am in a different country.

Delicious pizzas, and they serve a variety of foods. The atmosphere of the restaurant is terrific. I have been eating there and in their old restaurant for years and haven’t had any issues so far. On-site service and delivery are always efficient— good management of staff. It makes me happy that there are these sorts of places in Dushanbe where you can go and just enjoy your time.

Best New York-Style pizza in Dishanbe! The burgers are really good as well. Prices are fair, and the ambient is really cozy.

I would suggest to order only Pizza in this place. Guys have shifted to a spacious newer place, put their effort in design and the place is now cozy and neat. However salads, first dish and hamburgers were tasteless. Only Pizza made me satisfied to which i am rating 4 stars. This is my humble opinion, maybe others will like other varieties of food here but for me it is only Pizza.

This tea house serves authentic Taji food, we like the laghman, good noodles, just wish they served very hot instead of just warm. This is a very large space with high ceilings.

It is a lovely place and amazing architecture. So nice on a hot summer’s day; cool and relaxed sitting outside but high up sheltered from the sun. The food is ok but not amazing. The fresh bread is unfortunately brought to you dry and not warm. Everything else is so average. Staff are not so friendly.

Beautiful, friendly atmosphere. Nice breeze after the heath of the day. Food super tasty. We’re happy to have walked for 30’ passing by huge ministerial buildings!

This teahouse was a must-see for us as we have often frequented the tea house gifted to Boulder, Colorado from Dushanbe as part of a sister City exchange. We sat upstairs on the terrace and enjoyed the beautiful artwork decorating the walls, ceilings, and columns. You can also sit in a beautiful space downstairs filled with intricate carved and painted wood. We came later in the afternoon and they were out of many of the dishes but we did enjoy hot samsa and cold mint yogurt soup. We were surprised that for a tea house, they only served 2 kinds of tea. If your travels take you to Dushanbe, this is definitely worth the visit.

I was a bit confused about the entrance of the restaurant as the building seems to be going through restoration. So make sure once you walking facing the stairs take a left and you will see some signs and the main door just walk in and grab a table. The building has an amazing architecture food was good and affordable! The staff was very accommodating with my basic Russian but they also have menu in English very helpful! I enjoy the laghman but the shashillik looked good too!

Great atmosphere, love the huge open air settings, as well as the traditional indoors area with intricate wood carvings and paintings. The Tajik food is one of the best we had - laghman and mastoba both very flavourful and hearty. We were there late morning where there isn't much crowd. Make sure you go to the indoors area to check out the traditional decor. English menu is available.

Good food. Beautiful mosaic in the ceiling. If you do not speak Tajik or Russian expect a few misunderstandings. Menu has English translation but it is not 100% correct. I ordered chicken but I still have no idea what it was I ate. It was not chicken for sure.

The bear, lions, and wolves are in the smallest, inhospitable cages. A zoo this size cannot possibly care for such amazing animals. Please relocate or sell them to a larger zoo. It is painful to see their confinement. On a positive note, the birds, sheep, llamas and camels are lovely to look at.

One of the Worst maintained zoo's I have come across although on the positive side they have a good collection of vultures and Bactrian camels.

PLEASE REPORT THIS ZOO FOR ANIMAL ABUSE. Videos are circling online of the abhorrent conditions these animals are living in. One video shows a bear screaming and clawing at bars trying to escape. DO NOT VISIT THIS PLACE

Do not go here and do not bring your children here!!! The animals are clearly suffering, in tiny cages and malnourished. Lions and bears are kept in cement-floored cages, multiple domestic dogs are kept in cages, animals are fed popcorn and sweets... A terrible place.

Feel bad for the poor animals. Camels are so skinny and unhealthy. Government needs to pay more attention to the zoo animals.

They cook very bad i have been regret going there if I wasn’t hungry i would never ate,their Pepsi has also have very low quality after couple of minutes its flat. I hope they increase their loyalty and quality i have tasted kfc in other countries also but this was the worst one.

Here you can not only sing but also dance. Four stars just because you have to wait for your turn to sing hours. Too many people here, better reserve the table in advance. Prices are affordable.

The service is not as one expects. I'm a coffee drinker and the coffee here is not good quality. the guys behind the counter need to improve their communication and customer service skills. I asked for a carry bag for my food and was told there is none. Salad options are not Fresh! Three times had salad and regretted, but the sales team were assuring me that it was made that very morning.

For fast food it's pretty good. I've been there a few times and never had a bad experience. Don't go expecting too much and you'll be fine.

It's salty fast food fried chicken and fairly cheaply priced Central Asian pizza. I wouldn't go out of my way to find this place for dinner, but it is what it is and does the job.

The food is not good. The chilcken soup was very much oily and watery. Also I ordered daal makhani which was burnt and had no Indian taste. Over all I can say doesn’t worth to visit

Food is REALLY great. Creamy delicate portions cooked well with the right flavors and colors. We had the in house samosas and the lamb curry and tikka masala. Tandoor chicken was Smokey and rouge red as it should be. Our waitress was nice and spoke English BUT the restaurant could do more on atmosphere and decor which was muted. Also minus a point for the terrible red wine which is Aussie plonk at high prices and Georgian vinegar option. Almost guys almost… five stars could be yours with a bit of effort.

It's famous restaurant for Indian food in Dushanbe, it is little expensive but quality is good, staff are very humble. Proper hygiene maintain by them You can eat Indian delicious food with Indian music If you are student ,you get 10 percent discount

Authentic Indian restaurant in the centre of the city, a delight for vegetarian people as there are lot of options available. The staff is very friendly, would like to thank Mr Komil for very gentle hospitality.

Ordered tomoto soup, butter nan and malai kofta. They served both at a time and not one by one. I said I need spicy. Tomoto soup was so sweet and looked like tomatoes were ground and brought the liquid soup for me. I just left it and it was a waste of money . Butter naan ok. Malai kofta also horrible and not at all tasty. I paid a total of 119 somony and total waste of money. I also visited the restaurant a day before and had hot and sour soup and it was good but so much excess oil. I also ate egg fried rice and the taste was excellent

Among the most delightful experiences I had in Tajikistan, particularly if you have a fondness for cocktails, this establishment is certainly the right choice. The staff is exceptionally kind and helpful in assisting with food and drink selections. I thoroughly enjoyed my time there and highly recommend a visit.

This is a very trendy venue but it's completely dysfunctional. The 28 Monkeys are not the decoration on the walls; they are the staff, who have not been trained in basic customer service. We waited more than half an hour for 4 simple drinks despite more staff than I've ever seen in a restaurant and very few customers. No one came to apologise or explain. Ridiculously loud music for a Sunday night. It's a restaurant not Ibiza. This identity crisis extends to the light levels - it's too dark to read the menu without a light (even if you're under 40). We asked for a non-smoking area but were seated directly above the bar where people were smoking. Extensive menu not very vegetarian-friendly but not impossible. Once the food finally arrived it was good and well-presented, although extremely overpriced in comparison to the plethora of excellent restaurants in the immediate vicinity. At these prices I would have expected better English and actual napkins. Our evening deteriorated further when we said we didn't want to pay the 15% service charge and the manager had to be called. A lengthy discussion resulted in extreme awkwardness and being bullied into paying it anyway. Give this place a miss unless you want to increase your blood pressure waiting to be served and arguing about service charge.

An amazing place with delicious food! We loved it so much that we had dinner there twice during our one-week stay in Tajikistan. The cocktails were great, and the atmosphere was both cozy and exciting. They also offer hookah for those interested(the smoking and non-smoking areas are separated). One thing to note: when ordering a main dish, they ask about your preferred side, but keep in mind that sides are charged extra and come in large portions!

Nice place with amazing atmosphere. All staf speaks english, which is not standard in Dushanbe restaurant. Everything nice and clean, choice is great and food looks perfect. Unfortunately my food (chicken kung pao) was not good, no taste, no spice. Also fish of my friend was not seasoned well.

It had a cool vibe, the menu was interesting, and the atmosphere was nice. The snacks were diverse and high-quality. However, they didn’t have the full menu available. The prices were mid to high range.

Came for a coffee and a light snack and ended up staying an hour or so. The wait staff were very attentive and gracious enough to offer WiFi to me after realizing I was a tourist. I had their ice cream for desert and it was delicious.

Service was commendable, but the cuisine lacked flavor and could benefit from a touch of salt, red chili pepper flakes, or truffle oil. The freshly squeezed pomegranate juice stood out as a pleasant option. However, the prices at this establishment are on the higher side. While the patio setting is attractive, it can get a bit smoky.

Food was good. Service was good but a bit slow at first, I sat on the veranda and It took 15 minutes for staff to approach, I very almost left. This can be fixed by being more attentive of potential customers arriving and choosing to sit on the veranda instead of going inside (even if the veranda is empty) I have to question why the wine is so expensive? The glass of wine cost me the same as my main dish 55/56 Somoni respectively. Do you not have locally sourced, cheaper wines?

I don't understand the good reviews at all! It was unfortunately very disappointing and completely overpriced! The food was cold, very tasteless and the portions are very small. In addition, the pasta was undercooked (far from al dente). The service is beyond good. I had to wait almost an hour for the bill. Only the location is ok. Overall not recommended if you want to eat good Italian food.

We had dinner there after our disastrous evening at the 28 monkeys down the road the previous night. So much better.

It's a nice Cafe, espresso is good but flat white was not done properly. It will be better if they include more coffee types.
