Business park
Naha Kokusai Dori Shopping Street is a bustling boulevard in Okinawa, known for its vibrant atmosphere and diverse offerings. On Sundays, visitors can enjoy street performances and food stalls. The street is home to Kokusai Dori Yataimura, where unique restaurants serve up dishes using local Okinawan ingredients. During the day, it's a relaxing spot for lunch, while at night it transforms into a lively hub with food stalls open past midnight.
A fun return visit, always something new to see at Kokusai Dori! This was a special trip back to Naha Kokusai Dori Shopping Street with my boys. They had been here before when they were much younger, but this time around they could really take it all in and appreciate it. We enjoyed walking through the shopping areas, where they picked up some cool Okinawa trinkets this street is full of those unique souvenirs you can’t really find anywhere else. Of course, I couldn’t resist dropping a good chunk of cash on some of the fun, character-themed T-shirts they found (Okinawa is famous for these). But honestly, that’s part of the fun. The atmosphere is always lively, with so much to see, hear, and eat. And no visit feels complete without running into those huge, towering 10-foot tall Shisa statues always a great photo spot and reminder that you’re right in the heart of Okinawa. Every time we visit, there’s something new to discover. Definitely worth the stop!

A 2km to 3km long of shopping street in Okinawa, which houses a lot of shops selling souvenirs and local delicacy. In addition, the food village and famous public market are found here too. Not to mentioned, a lot of hotels are suited near this famous street too. A great way to immerse yourself into Okinawa culture and while spending your time walking & shopping around.
Kokthye L — Google review
Great place to pick up souvenirs and Okinawa t-shirts. Lots of shops selling the same stuff, but lots of side streets selling other goods and services so worth the trip.
Craig L — Google review
It's an interesting street where there are plenty of food options and retail options. There are also many side roads that lead to many other retail and food options. The street is always busy and crowded.
Rex T — Google review
You find everything here from food, souvenirs and everything is fresh! You can go inside the fish market, pick your fish and take it upstairs to get cooked. It’s a must for me when traveling to visit these types of markets and this one did not disappoint. I found everything I was looking for and had an amazing time.

From food to shopping to experiences, Kokusai-Dori is the place to visit! The street houses dozens of shops, and restaurants around every corner. With the markets close by you can spend a whole day or two on Kokusai alone! Ramen, sushi, Traditional Okinawan meals, and more are readily available and makes this street so unique in Naha! I loved being able to walk to Tsuboya from kokusai and it's markets! Truly a shopper and souvenir finder's dream!

Awesome shopping street. Lots of things to shop, eat, see. Just take time to walk up and down the street. Prepare yourself to have lots of fun.

Tsuboya Yachimun Street, also known as Tsuboya Yachimun Dori, is a serene cobblestone street adorned with traditional earthenware workshops, charming cafes, and a pottery museum. The street is home to unique workshops that have been crafting traditional Ryukyu-era pottery for generations. Visitors can enjoy leisurely strolls and window shopping while admiring the vibrant and skillfully crafted potteries on display.
the shops are small but they have unique and beautifully made options of mugs, bowls, dishes and some decorative items. a great place to go for supporting the local artists, and for buying special and delicate gifts.

Good place to walk around early morning. Shops open at 10am, many nice and fancy pottery if you have the budget. We bought a pair of shisa at one of the shop ( thinking it’s handmade and unique ) but turns out all the souvenir shops also carry this shisa .
CM C — Google review
Thoroughly enjoyed the street. If you are looking for pottery ideas or just want to see the different styles of pottery culture, this is a great place to visit right off the busy bustling Street of Kokusi Street.
LAUS D — Google review
Quiet street lined with pottery workshops and shops. Pleasant place to wander and browse, if not shop. Leads into the covered market (and fish market close by).
Karen A — Google review
Streets are so beautiful here. You really get the feeling of old traditional Okinawa. Downside side is the shops are all about same and aimed for tourist who want to buy pottery. Not all come from Okinawa so ask shop keeper before buying. Bought some nice gift here though so all in all pretty happy I went here.
M V — Google review
Wonderful and enjoyable spot to visit if you love pottery. You can spend more than an hour or so just viewing the different pottery shops. There are a variety of styles ranging from cute and modern to more traditional designs and glazing techniques.
Nicole L — Google review
Came for the festival and most stores had items at 20% off! It's a small street with a lot of shops and cafes. I thought the ceramics sold here were unique and not items I have seen in every place! I really loved how each shop carried their style.
Yuuki A — Google review
If you love Japanese ceramics, you would like this place. It is good for a chill afternoon if you are too tired for the touristy sightseeing. With ceramics museum , ceramics store and cafe, you can possibly spend 2 hours here, as the street is quite short.

Makishi Public Market, located in Naha's Makishi district, offers a glimpse into the historical Ryukyu Kingdom. This bustling marketplace in the Sakae-cho area is a central hub for fresh produce, meat, fish, and general merchandise. Visitors can immerse themselves in Okinawan everyday life by exploring the market and interacting with friendly merchants.
This market is enormous! If you want to explore Okinawa, I believe you should spend a day walking around here. There is just so much there and lots of great little spots to eat and drink.
Jason N — Google review
It’s a tourist trap. A walk in the area and you will not find locals doing their marketing. There are 2 floors with small restaurants above selling seafood or mostly cooking the seafood for you when u bought it downstairs. Because it’s a tourist place, they have English and Chinese speaking staff at the eateries. It’s basically a seafood and premium beef market with some dry goods/ side dish stalls. Mostly priced higher than their local supermarkets. Each stall had some arrangements with the eateries upstairs. The seafood is mostly overpriced but very fresh. Depending on where you come from, it may be deemed cheap for you due to the exchange rate. Unlike some tourists around me having big prawns, lobsters and crabs, we opted for a simple and very satisfying meal.
Cow R — Google review
May 2025. Mainly seafood market with restaurants on the upper area where you can have your seafood cooked the way your heart desires. This is obviously a touristic place but we enjoyed it. This is actually not a very big market as we thought but there was a lot of choices of fresh fishes and sea creatures, as well as some others Okinawa specialities.
J — Google review
Seafood market was a good experience pick your seafood or wagu and have it cooked how you like . Plenty of other things to see and buy at markets , from clothes to souvenirs, luggage and bags . Very busy place , worth going too.
Brad R — Google review
Nice place for local vibe. But prices are tourist standards. Almost same as tokyo's tsukuji market area. But worth to visit once if happen to be in the area,as the seafood is really fresh.
Gerald N — Google review
Our lunch experience at Makishi Public Market was one to remember. We kicked things off on the first floor, picking out fresh seafood right from the local stalls — everything from vibrant cuts of sashimi-grade fish to a whole sea bream that caught our eye. The vendors were warm and welcoming, making the selection process easy and enjoyable. We brought our ingredients up to the second level where the real magic happened. The chefs there turned our picks into a delicious spread. The fresh sashimi was clean, sweet, and beautifully plated — every slice a bite of the ocean. We also had stir-fried bitter gourd with spam, a local Okinawan favourite. The bitterness was mellow and balanced well by the savoury spam. A comforting dish, especially with rice. Another standout was the prawns with eggs — silky and rich, yet not overly heavy. But the showstopper was definitely the sea bream. Cooked Chinese-style — deep-fried to a crispy golden crust and then finished with soy sauce — it was both flavourful and aromatic. Eating upstairs with our custom meal, we really felt immersed in Okinawan food culture. Fresh, interactive, and full of flavour — this was not just a meal, but an experience.
Crumpled N — Google review
This place was truly amazing! We arrived hopeful and excited about eating here, and we were rewarded with spectacular food, friendly staff who spoke multiple languages, the cleanest fish market I’ve ever been in and so much more. We ordered a lot, since we were really hungry. We had lobster, fish, abalone, sea urchin and oyster sashimi. It was so good, we ate the whole thing and still wanted more. It was bursting with flavour, and the texture varied, sometimes crunchy and sometimes smooth. We ordered cooked fish and lobster porridge too, and it was really, really, really fresh and sweet. We ordered juice and beer, and both were splendid too! If looking for an authentic and cultural experience, I would definitely recommend.
Emma L — Google review
It is not a big market but sufficient for a city. The variety and selection are not very wide, but they have the usual. One can buy the raw ingredients and seafood from the ground floor, and then the seller will send up to the kitchen that you have selected to prepare the food for you.

Very disappointed I just bought the strawberry, but I couldn’t eat it at I and their responses very slow. I asked the hotel to call and asked me to see if they can refund and I’ve waited 30 minutes, but I still have to went back to the hotel in my very pressure trip. But I will say the manager is very nice. He was in a lunch break, but then he got me all the refund and he bow to me three times success sorry and I felt very embarrassed overall just be careful of the fruit you buy here.

Nice shopping mall in Okinawa with a roof terrace and many department stores. My favorite was the floor with all the bakery and chocolates.

We visited at almost 8pm on a weekday hoping to find some dinners. Unfortunately most of the restaurant had stop receiving customers as they will be closing at 8.30pm. Even most of the supermarket side foods stalls at Basement 1 had most of their bentos / snacks sold out.. Overall, this shopping centre had lot of items to shop and eat, but pls come early. Haha.

This is a great place for POKEMON lovers. Over 500 POKEMON goods are displayed and available. Okinawa limited : POKEMON plush doll dressed up in EISA style and KARIYUSHI wear ※EISA is a traditional dance in Okinawa that uses native drums. ※KARIYUSHI wear is also a local traditional wear which people commonly say, the Okinawa version of Aloha shirt. This place has good selections of handkerchiefs and I was happy to get them for my mom. The only problem is it takes too long to get a tax return because there is only one line for it.

A department store which caters for the high-end of the society folks as compared to local department store. Like most of the department store, it has almost every things, like clothes, suit, suitcase, household & appliances etc. We only have a quick view of the department store and mainly went there for our dinner, Porco Rosso (western) café. It serves a delicious meal and seemed to be well received by tourists.

Although RYUBO is one off the biggest mall in Okinawa, there's really not much interesting in the centre to me except for its basement's establishments i. e. DonQ bakery, cooked food stalls and the supermarket. I really enjoyed taking my time to stroll the aisle and looking at the different types of fresh food and fruits. Five stars for the basement! 😁

Ichiran Naha Kokusaidori

Ramen restaurant
Ichiran Naha Kokusaidori is a casual ramen eatery that specializes in tonkotsu ramen, a rich pork bone broth-based noodle dish. Located near the lively Kokusai Dori Street, it's a popular spot for ramen enthusiasts. The restaurant focuses on perfecting one type of ramen, allowing customers to customize their bowls with options like noodle texture and extra garlic.
This place is like all the other branches with private booths so whether you’re by yourself or with a group, you’re by yourself!! Service is meant to be anonymous, you don’t see the kitchen or service staff. The only staff you meet or the greeters who will take you to your table there’s different section each with booths, formatted so they can serve you quickly. Order off the ticket machine at the entrance, when you get to your table, fill out the form to give them more details on your order, such as firmness of noodles, richness of broth. Excellent Tonkotsu Ramen, everything was great. Noodles were perfect & the char siu and egg cook perfectly. Perfect location right on the main tourist street, but I wish they had more branches in Okinawa.
Peter H — Google review
Came around 7.30pm and there was already a Q. Thankfully it didn’t take us long to get a seat. You need to buy your meal ticket from the machine before being seated. If you don’t want to buy a drink, it’s ok as they provide free water. Quality of meal is good and tasty. Tried the matcha pudding too and it’s not too bad.
Ginny T — Google review
1/2025 My first Ichiran. Of course it was good… but the strange amusement park feeling was weird. I get that they want you to focus on your bowl of ramen, but that whole no-direct-communication thing was too 21st century for me, lol. (Maybe pandemic-perfect)
E N — Google review
There was no queue when we arrived. However, as they don't have the exact number of seats to seat us together, we waited for about 10mins before being ushered to our seats. The ramen was flavourful and the texture of the noodles as what I wanted. Spiciness is also the same. Good eat!
Rex T — Google review
Loved the experience of going out to eat without needing to talk to anyone. Great vibes and excellent food! One tip: order the noodle refill with your pot if you're hungry—you’ll definitely need it. If you don’t like the taste of dashi, don’t go for the recommended amount; choose less instead. Contactless payments are accepted.
J.W. — Google review
When in Rome… couldn’t help but make Ichiran part of my trip. Came fairly late in the evening and still encountered queues, but moved fairly quick. Usual touchscreen ordering system, several languages available. Ramen was delightful as always, but atmosphere was not quite as enjoyable as normal. Loved that Orion was the draft beer keeping inline with local traditions.
Life's A — Google review
A very interesting experience, but I’ll leave that to surprise you… The ramen was great! Ordering kiosks have pictures so you see exactly what you are getting. I especially liked how you can customize your ramen… everything from flavoring, richness of broth, texture of noodle, plus many more. The broth was very nice and rich, but not overwhelming. And they serve the thin angel hair noodles that I prefer. The only thing I didn’t like was the portion of the sliced pork… pretty thin and skimpy, so recommend you order extras. Overall great, will be returning in the future. But avoid the peak hours to skip the long wait. ENJOY!
George 9 — Google review
If you are solo/one person you can get through the cue quicker, I waited around 10 mins. I enjoyed my ramen and staff are all so nice and respectful 🥰 I usually wouldn’t be able to get through even half a bowl this size but it was so yummy I finished the it all! I was very full and satisfied after 😋

Izakaya restaurant
Churasan Tei is a popular izakaya near Naha airport, known for its Okinawan blue decor and focus on local ingredients, especially seafood. The menu features dishes like Squid Ink Somen Chanpuru made with fresh squid and flavorful squid ink sauce. While the prices are decent, there's an additional 300 yen cover charge per person. Despite this, the food is well-received, with highlights such as garlic buttered shellfish and tempura fish.
They got pretty much every okinawa specialty. Good place to try the Rafute, Goya Champuru or other fish dishes.

I’m so sorry but this was an unpleasant visit. Sashimi was below average. Freshness is gone. General option of fried food was also bad. 🙏🍻 only the bottled Orion was great!
Andre T — Google review
In A Nutshell: -Churasan Tei was a pretty good izakaya restaurant. -I definitely chilled & stayed for a bit enjoying their fresh sashimi, Orion beer & awamori. -I was hoping to try out their coconut crab but they were out. -I highly recommend the Green Caviar Bowl highlighted with sea grapes & Okinawan uni. -The Okinawan tuna was also very fresh & tasty. -I wasnt too fond of the Giant Clam, but the sliced Squid Tentacles were yummy. Overall, I enjoyed the quality of the food here.

Apparently it's a popular restaurant among locals and tourists. If you want local Okinawa cuisines and ingredients, this is the place to be. I think I ordered most dishes with the names that I've never heard and with the ingredients that I've never tried. It was a fun experience! One of the dishes I tried is coconut crab miso soup. It was rare even in Okinawa and they don't usually sell it outside of the island. The taste was nothing special but definitely impactful for the photos😆 I wouldn't recommend to go alone because the portion is relatively generous and not too cheap. It's better to go with more people in order to sample different unique dishes.

Very delicious and fresh seafood. Unfortunately this restaurant allows their customers to smoke. It was very bad this time. Sandwiched between 2 smoking tables. Unpleasant second hand cigarettes smell. Revisited again. This time no customers were smoking. Tasty food enjoyed. 😛

Some of the best seafood I have ever had. Super fresh and delicious. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Slightly annoying that tax is added after and not included on the listed price. Definetly recommend if your keen on trying local Okinawan seafood.
Ben S — Google review
This is a tasty seafood restaurant not far from Naha airport. Maybe 15min if you take the monorail then walk. The food was good and decently priced. Though it was a bit more than we were thinking of spending, we left happy. Heads up, there is a 300 yen cover charge per person, just for the table, and the food is on top of that. We had garlic buttered shellfish that was grilled. The presentation, smell, and taste were great! We also had tempura fish, which was fresh, hot, and delicious. That was my favorite! Lastly, we had the crab miso soup. The presentation was great, but the flavor of the crab meat had been boiled out into the soup, so if you are looking for really good crab, go ahead and get a whole one. (They are a bit pricey though!) There is free dessert if you ask your server. That evening, dessert was some fresh pineapple, and it was very good.
Jessica H — Google review
They have English menu and pictures. I had the green cavier, Natural mozuku vinegar (table charge), natural mozuku tempura (free item), trocas shell stir fried and the ryukyu awamori (okinawan alcohol) Nice service: They gave a free desert and a tempura dish

This place not only provides great eye views of planes taking off and landing at Naha airport, it also serves many delicious F&B for folks to chill around. Pros: The place is gorgeous and suitable for phototaking and there is a hotel located next to it. Located very near to Naha airport. There is even a small hot springs for user to soak their legs. Very nice concept. Cons: It is serves by 2 public bus TK02 & 04 and in the afternoon, the place is quite hot & humid due to lack of cover shelter. A pity that I cannot stay long to view the sunset at Umikaji Terrace. Will come again to visit this place.

This place is really cool, with all-white buildings right in front of the beach. There are plenty of dining options with both local and international cuisine—Thai, Mexican, American, Japanese, Hawaiian, Indonesian, and more. You can also find souvenir shops, and there’s a hot foot fountain where you can relax and dip your feet. Parking is plentiful and free, making it very convenient. A beautiful and peaceful spot, highly recommended!

Great spot for a date night or a casual outing. There's plenty of food options, and the view is amazing. Plus, there’s a beautiful beach just across the street, making it the perfect place to relax and enjoy the scenery.
Anthony S — Google review
A great place for a leisure afternoon, especially for those who enjoy watching airplanes and sunset. Food is on the pricier side. The picture would look much sharper if only they had keep up with the paint job. I think it is overdue.
FT W — Google review
A chill place that u must dine in a restaurant for chill out. But, it's too hot here. The sea is so beautiful with the light blue, deep blue and turquoise colour mixed up. All shops and restaurants here were painted in white. So, it's a mimic to Santorini vibe... Come during sunset will be the best timing. Can watch the sunset while having a drinks or dessert. It's next to the airport, you can keep watching the aeroplane landing from the sky.

Historic Sites
Former Japanese Navy Underground Headquarters, also known as Kyukaigun Shireibugo, is a significant historical site located in southern Okinawa. This 450-meter-long tunnel complex served as the headquarters for the Japanese Navy during the intense Battle of Okinawa in World War II. Situated about four kilometers south of central Naha City, it stands as a preserved tribute to the victims of this battle.
Easily one of the best WWII exhibits located in Japan as a whole. Start your journey in the western carparks and make your way to the entrance at the top of the hill. At the reception area, there is a free exhibit with a collection of historical photographs. From here, you make your way down a level where there is a further exhibit with photographs, movies and physical items inc. artefacts, weapons and interactive maps. At this point, you will need to buy a ticket to enter the underground headquarters itself. Really well designed as a whole with a self-guided tour covering all the different areas of the cavernous retreat. Upon completion, you will exit near a neat gift shop which has plenty of decent souvenirs. Recommend for any history buffs or visitors alike.
Life's A — Google review
We drove and there were parking available lower part of the hill but we drove higher, closer to the museum and also found parking there. The place is free for everyone to walk around and explore. Only pay when you are going into the tunnel, the price (¥600-Adult) was reasonable. Enjoyed the walk through the tunnel and thought it was a wonderful experience.
Ginny T — Google review
Very interesting place to visit. Some of the prospects of Okinawans' history is saddening the heart if you don't know this part of Okinawa War History. I loved walking down those tunnels. However, the mental imagery that it brings is sometimes difficult to bear.
Bruno G — Google review
Very sad story of how the Okinawan people suffered through the war. 94K civilians died as they were caught up in the bombing and ground attacks. This museum lays out the horrors they suffered. Their lands, houses, and culture were completely destroyed. There are many peace prayer ribbons stating the resolve of young school children not to support war. It's very sobering and sad.
Timothy R — Google review
Being able to go and see history and think about what was actually going on there many years ago is pretty neat. Someday things like that will not be there. Take advantage of it. Nice little set up with photos and a map see imagine the tunel system. 600 yen per person or a group of 20 and 400 ten per person.
Disspose — Google review
Great experience. The photos and audio visuals are a graphic picture of the resilience of the Okinawan people during the tumultuous times of WW2. The tunnels were quite surreal, to think of the soldiers who spent time in them

It was a great experience. I came on Saturday moening. There was no crowds but a few people visiting this place during that time. So i dont feel scared to go around the place. The not good for me, we had to walk upward to the car. Didnt know the exit would be 400-300metres to the entrance

Definitely worth the price. Won't spend too long here so make a quick stop! Humbling walking the tight corridors knowign what the soldiers must have endures.

Shopping Malls
Okinawa Outlet Mall Ashibinaa is a vibrant shopping destination that beautifully combines modern retail with the charm of ancient Greek architecture. This expansive complex features an impressive array of both local and international brand-name stores, catering to all your shopping desires—from fashion to electronics. Even if shopping isn't on your agenda, the mall hosts various events throughout the year, making it a lively spot for everyone. Accessible via local buses from Naha Airport and other key locations, it's easy to reach without a car.
One of the four best outlets/shopping malls in Okinawa a must visit checklist during ur stay, make sure u do research if your favorite brands here, there’s another new shopping mall of IIAS nearby hence could do a combo visit.
Wilson C — Google review
ASHIBINAA Outlet stands as yet another monument to the slow death of the outlet mall - a relic of a fading industry, clinging desperately to a twilight that’s already slipping beneath the horizon. Predictably, this outlet mall follows the same tired formula: a dreary parade of uninspired Western brands, indistinguishable from any middling outlet in the US or Canada. Without a trace of Japanese character to lend it charm, one wonders why any overseas visitor would bother making the trip. The sheer scale of the space holds tantalising potential, but alas, the management appears steadfast in its devotion to monotony. One might almost admire the commitment to mediocrity, if only it weren’t so profoundly dull.
The Y — Google review
I came a year ago, and it was a ghost town. This year, I was surprised to find the place rejuvenated, and there was actually a crowd, much better than last year. However, much can still be done to enhance the overall experience.
Rex T — Google review
The typical shops you can find in outlet mall. Some shops offer direct tax refund when the purchase is above 5000 or 5500 yen. Not many food stalls though.
Andrew T — Google review
Spend some time in this factory outlet and u can really snag some good deals.. Though not as big as the outlets in Sapporo, this is less crowded when I visit... Parking is also aplenty...
Jon P — Google review
Cool outlet mall with lots of the popular brands from the high-street brands to the luxury ones. There are restaurants, cafe and food courts available so you can spend the whole day here.
Cindy G — Google review
Great mall. Lots of shops. Wide selection. Clothes, shoes, toys, suitcases and more!
Robin A — Google review
Plenty of parking space. If you want grab some stuff from the standard brands. Wacoal had pretty good selection and prices were attractive. Banana republic also had a good selection of items. No food within shopping area except an Indian restaurant on 2nd floor.

Roadside Station Itoman in Itoman City is a one-stop destination for the whole family. At the Fish Center run by Itoman Fishing Cooperative, visitors can create their own original kaisen-don by choosing from a variety of sashimi such as maguro, mibai, salmon, and whiskered velvet shrimp.
An all-in-one stop that's great for the whole family. There is a farmer's market selling locally-produced vegetables and meat, a City market that sells souvenirs and has all kinds of restaurants, and a fresh fish market. You're able to buy fresh seafood to eat there and then. Amazing varieties of fish, shellfish are available for sale, and the vegetables are sold fresh.
Ananda K — Google review
Great place to stop by for some well priced sashimi and Seafood, there's an area literally selling those cooked (or uncooked) in the way you want. Shopping for local goods too in the main area.
Rtexal T — Google review
We went on a Saturday which was also a national holiday so it was very crowded. Avoid the seafood. It is a horrible tourist trap. Overpriced seafood that is not fresh. Even the grilled lobster and prawn are cold when you bite into it because they’ve been sitting out for awhile. Everything tasted like rubber. The farmers market was also very disappointing. The bento boxes were not good. The products are fresher and cheaper at Road Side Station Toyosaki just a few minutes drive north (道の駅豊崎). The only thing that was worth going for were the grannies deep frying GIANT doughnuts with carrots inside (Sata Andagi) and vegetable tempura (“Kakiage”). The queue is long because the locals buy 20 at a time but it’s worth the wait if you drive all the way here.
Jun N — Google review
We stopped by on our way back from the Peace Memorial Park. We arrived late, so there was not much left, but we did see tropical fruits, local avocados, and other unusual foods!

The Farmers Market Itoman Umanchu Market, located in Nishizaki town in Itoman City, is a vibrant marketplace offering an array of fresh Okinawan ingredients such as Shima Rakkyo and Umi Budo at reasonable prices. The market boasts a variety of interesting plants and delicious vegetables grown by local farmers, along with an abundance of seafood. Got some fresh and cheap seafood of the store in the back. Some shop offer 50% off in the afternoon and all shop will start giving discount after 5pm. You can plan your time to eat there as well. The gift shop is also full of interesting stuffs. We found a Okinawan Gin for 3,600 Yen which is cheaper compared to the same one in the airport. So, it’s worth checking out as well

🐟 Itoman Fish Market ⭐ Fresh seafood, good prices, tasty but hot in summer Plenty of fresh seafood at much better prices than on the mainland. Tasty overall, though some dishes can be a bit salty. Outdoor seating can be hot in September, and the restroom is quite far, making handwashing less convenient. There are also restaurants in the souvenir area with air conditioning, which is more comfortable, though without the fresh seafood options.
M ( — Google review
We happened to find this market on the way back to return our rental car. I wish I could have visited this place sooner. As a sashimi and fresh seafood lover, this market is perfect. It offers several options for fresh sashimi and oysters. Based on what I saw, it mostly caters to both local and foreign tourists. Most of the retailers only accept cash, with perhaps only 2-3 accepting credit cards. You can grab your food and eat in a semi outdoor seating area, which is quite large. I’ll make this market a priority next time we go to Okinawa lol.

If you're looking for a hearty dining experience in Okinawa, "沖縄式島豚焼肉ばんない" is an all-you-can-eat yakiniku restaurant that promises to satisfy your cravings. With a diverse selection of meats including pork, chicken, and beef, this spot caters to various tastes. The Tomigusuku branch of Ramen Sanpachi, a popular chain store known for its delicious ramen, is located on the grounds of Jef. Despite its small size, it was surprisingly empty when visited around 19:00. One must-try dish is the butter corn miso ramen which offers a delightful combination of the savory taste of butter and the sweetness of corn and miso.
(Translated by Google) I visited Sanpachi Ramen after hearing that the miso ramen at the Tomigusuku store was delicious among the Sanpachi ramen chains. It is located on the premises of Jef in Tomigusuku and has a cozy feel. I went around 7pm and it was surprisingly empty. This time I ordered butter corn miso ramen. The combination of the saltiness of the butter and the sweetness of the corn and miso is exquisite! I don't usually drink juice, but I found myself drinking it all. The gyoza was crispy and fluffy on the inside, and went well with the gyoza sauce. I would like to try it at other stores and compare. The miso ramen was certainly as delicious as rumored. I don't know about the other stores, but the Tomigusuku store is located on the same premises as Jeff, so the location is easy to find. This time I went there on a Saturday during lunch time, and the customers, mainly men who work in the area, came here to eat delicious and punchy ramen. It fills up quickly after 12:00. This time, I had the "Mabo Tofu Ramen", and it was very delicious with thick curly Chinese noodles, thick and spicy punch. In Okinawa, where there are relatively many restaurants that serve Okinawa soba or variations thereof, this restaurant stands out with its own uniqueness. As someone who doesn't like the chewy texture of Okinawa soba, I'm a bit naive. The texture of the Chinese noodles was very satisfying. This is a restaurant that I will continue to visit until I have eaten all of their ramen lineup.
