The only big mall in Tagbilaran City. The place is usually crowded. The grocery line is very, very long, whether it’s a weekend or a weekday. Some of the stores here close at 8 PM, and the mall closes at 9 PM. They have plenty of fast food outlets and restaurants. You can get here via tricycle.

I believe this is the biggest mall in Bohol. It was my first time to get here and it has a lot of stores/shops to look at. I like the shop at the GF which sells local delicacies I just forgot the name. I got good coffee too at OTG Coffee on the second floor. Got a customized luggage card on the same floor.

If you are looking for food, then great, because the mall is 70% restaurants and supermarket. If you are looking for clothing, there's mainly one department store and a couple other shops (if you are a bigger girl, don't even bother). There's also some electronic stores but they are not well stocked.

Many games, we like the foods on every restaurants, and yeah good place to buy some clothes and everything what we should need!

I would like more places to sit and rest while waiting for my family in the mall. The hand dryer in the men's room was not working and there were no paper towels to dry ones hands. The department store checkout was very slow. They need more checkout lanes and clerks to get people through the line more quickly. I directory of stores and products would be helpful. I wish that the top floor deck was open to shoppers.

I had the worst experience at grocery counter20 this morning!👎 The counter clerk seemed to be carrying personal baggage to work! She didn't have a sense of urgency, she's grumpy and upon handing the items to me during checkout, could not even said thank you!🤔 Is the #Alturas company lacking training on their personnel regarding courtesy & goodwill?? I just said "thank you dai" to diffuse the situation as even my daughter was already irked with the attitude the cashier had shown to us. The management should look into this seriously as employees like this could ruin the reputation of the company.

Me and my family were buying stuff at the Alturas mall for of course souvenirs, snacks and nesscities the mall outside was a bit bland the inside was great with lots of stores and businesses, there are theaters, supermarkets, and department stores well it's not that stylish compared to SM or Robinsons but it's a great mall filled with people buying stuff for their needs. Overall a good mall to stay and hang out since it's the big malls in the city.

It’s clean mall. Best cinema in town. But you have to pay the parking. Only 2 hours for free. That it’s not enough

Alturas mall had significantly improved. My mama and I used to buy groceries before in their grocery store which was very tiny but now it has grown huge and had lots of customers around. It almost look like ICM with still more things happening. There are also government offices inside the mall which is very good. The department store as well has expanded and there are escalators functioning well. Because I am based in Cebu, I rarely comes to visit this mall. I am super glad to pass by here and see its evident change. Good job

would like to share an unpleasant experience I had with one of the elevator operators. When I entered the elevator with my friend, the operator harshly said, “Hawa hawa, naay mo-agi,” even though I was already aware and moving to make space. He did not say “excuse me” or use respectful language. He then told us that the elevator was going up in the same harsh tone, and followed it with the remark, “Samoka aning mga bata-a oy,” which I found very offensive. As a student and elevator user, I believe we all deserve to be treated with basic respect, regardless of age. I understand that the operator may be tired or stressed, but kindness and professionalism should still be shown, especially in a public space. I hope this feedback is taken seriously, and that staff can be reminded to treat everyone, including students with courtesy.

Good choice of shops and restaurants worth a visit only downside is the madness in the roads going and leaving you have to be very aware of drivers and riders especially if you have rented a scooter!

Perhaps the safest city plaza I have ever visited! You can see people sleeping on benches as they would in their backyard, and it's a good thing knowing they feel safe enough to do so. It's a bit messy for now since the grandstand or bandstand area is being renovated, with a little sprucing up, a few more lights and plants/flowers, and organizing the food vendors, this public space will add more charm to this quaint, quiet city.

The plaza surely gave us a glimpse of another Rizal Park. What was nice about the place is that there were benches that were clean, trees in the middle of the city, lots of pigeons and the gazebo. It was a bummer we didn't get to check out the national museun 'cause it was undergoing repair.

It's beautiful now! Very spacious! There's a lot of benches to sit on. I like that they have trash bins visible so people are encourage to throw their trash properly. My daughter loves feeding the doves. You can buy peanuts from the vendors within the vicinity. Take note! The doves prefer peanuts than popcorns. 😁 The minus star is for the people driving around the plaza circle. We cross the pedestrian lane from dunkin donut (with a toddler) , but the PUV didn't stop to let us pass. 3 vehicles saw us and make a stop, but there's this multicab who speeds off and almost got us. So, for the tourist whose visiting you need to take extra care. Some vehicles don't respect pedestrian lanes.

Nice place to loiter around. Very hot during the midday, so bring with you water and an umbrella. Please feed the birds responsibly.

I used to love the old Plaza Marcela but now the grocery area is just to cramped and crowded. Almost no walking space because it’s occupied by all the products on promo. Really not good with floor placement of products to sell. Not much opened cashier booths during rush hour. Also not strict with 1 basket lanes so shoppers who have more baskets get on those lanes.

Supermarket consider big, selp fresh fish and meat too, they got a lot of small package coffee, shampoo so if travel here wanna buy thing can come here, upstairs got foodcourt and othet space for us to stay or let student to study there too.

I am rating this strictly as a supermarket. It's no longer a mall. The upper floors are now used by a call center. If you live in the area it's nice to have a supermarket near by. The prices seem fair, and the selection is good. But if you have any other shopping to do you will want to go to one of the other malls.

It used to be Bohol's topnotch shopping center, (well before Island City Mall, the same owners) which caters customers from the different towns of Bohol. It's famous for its semi-wholesale style of transactions. What's good about it is it's near to Cogon terminal so it's very accessible to those people who are using public transports.

A typical dish sold at your local karenderia usually cost around P25 - P30. Here, a serving of adobo, menudo, pork w/ tausi, etc., cost around P86.00. Selling dishes that costs 3 times its usual price is a scam. And there is nothing special about their dish compared to the dishes at your local karenderias. The quality of their foods are just the same... bland, often served cold. The servings of their food is ridiculously small for a P86 meal as well. A serving that barely fills a saucer. Every item in their menu is set to a very high price except their rice. Their rice is sold at P5.00 per cup, but be surprise on how small their cups of rice are. I feel sorry for the people dining here. The food mix is cool, but its pretty expensive for their quality. The idea that a grocery and a local market place is located so close here makes me wonder what makes their items so expensive. Ambiance: 3/5 Service: 2/5 Food: 2/5

I really admire this plaza, the prices are sold wholesale and the department store is really affordable. However, the department store will be replaced by a BPO company.

The menu has been changing over the decades, and this time, it was just not the same anymore. Remember when they still served brewed coffee and Bicol Express and Tinomok? But I still love the service.

The service was great and the food we got was really delicious. It’s just a bit unfortunate that some of the food we wanted to try wasn’t available at that time. This is one of my favorite Filipino restaurant chains. The food quality has been relatively well maintained through the years. Though there are dishes that are no longer available. The main thing that needs major improvement is their service: 1. The food takes longer time to be served. The waitress mentioned that food will be served in 20 minutes but it was served after 40 minutes. I think this waiting ime is unacceptable. 2. Some dishes were not served and some were served very late. In spite of several follow-ups, they've failed to serve some dishes. There are few dishes which were served very late that we were already about to leave the place. Overall, I still like the food here but their service certainly needs to be corrected.

We recently dined at Gerry’s Grill and had a wonderful experience. The food that we ordered is excellent. The staff were attentive and knowledgeable. While the prices were on the higher side, the quality and experience justified the cost. I highly recommend this restaurant for a special evening out.

The rest of the team shares the same hospitable vibe, making the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. If you're looking for hearty Filipino food served with genuine hospitality, Gerry’s Grill at BQ Mall is definitely worth the visit.

Inflation really did reduce the serving sizes of most restaurants, but the quality too? Had to visit for a quick dinner. Ordered the fish and steak combo. The steak was soft and juicy but the fish was very dry, and looked nothing like grilled fish. Service is okay. The ambiance is as always very nice. If I would come visit The Buzzz again, it would only be because of the ice cream. Try all the flavors.

We had a good lunch in this restaurant. It was our first time to be at Island City Mall Bohol and a good choice to eat in The Buzzz Cafe' The food was savory beef soup , healthy salad, and I had mircrogreen smoothie so good recommended ☺️❣️

My friend recommended this place since this is my first time in bohol. And it was indeed worth the try and highly recommended. The food tastes authentic, the honey glazed chicken taste originally crafted, not the usual i tried. I saw the reviews in their fish, and this time, it's not dry. It's good, actually. The best part is the complementary bread and the spread. I had to buy it for personal consumption. The pesto and mango spread is the best and must be tried. Of course, their ice cream is a must try when you visit Bohol. Too bad they don't have the ginger flavour during my visit, which is highly recommended by others. We'll go back for sure.

Much more enjoyable than the farm in Panglao. Nice quiet area with AC. The breakfast, two eggs, bacon, and toast. Love the honey-butter and the green herb spread was tasty as well. Chicken sandwich is really big and had good flavor. Nice size and tasty Americano coffee.

This is actually my second time in Bohol and the second time I tried the restaurant. The food presentation is excellent. But the taste, I’m not so sold with it. The fish was dry, the ribs was not so good as well as the hickory sauce. The seafood pasta doused with herbs that were added too overpowering. Overall, the place is nice, the service is nice, the food is eye candy but not tasty at all.

Ordered a fish and chicken combo plate which came with rice and a mini salad. Also ordered a separate salad from the menu. Both the fish and the chicken were dry and the rice seemed to be overcooked as well. I suspect these items are made previously in batches then are reheated as new orders arrived. Salad was decent, basically a fruit salad topped onto lettuce. It tasted fresh but nothing exceptional. They did provide complimentary bread, which came with some honey butter spread which was absolutely fantastic. Service and vibe were great, but the main food was average at best. I wouldn't return here again.

We paid for 3 pechos but were given paa. I didn't realize this until we've left the restaurant. I always tell my sons to check the order when picked up as there's always one thing missing. This time, everything was there, we ate and thought there was something different. I only realized later on the mix up. I'm pretty sure we paid more than what we were given. My advice is to fully check what they give you if it is what you paid for and you have everything you paid for.

Food is great the same as other branches but the palabok noodles that was served to us was a little over cooked. The store is clean but there are places that the aircon cannot reach. Tables are too close to each other making it hard to go around.

Service is quick. Staff is friendly. It is more spacious than the other branches in the city. But unfortunately, even if the serving is generous, the food is very basic. The sisig is bland. And chicken, the restaurant's star, is dry and tasteless. Its halo-halo serving is consistent—sometimes the ice melts in your mouth, sometimes it is chunky and hard as rock.

Tagbilaran City Tourist Port does its job efficiently-it’s clean, orderly, and friendly, making the first impression of Bohol a good one. Sure, it’s a functional transport hub and not a luxury resort, but its charming local food stalls, relaxed vibe, and handy location make it a pleasant launchpad for island adventures.

Better than most ports. Pretty easy to commute to. Easy check-in process (you can just buy tickets at Klook or anywhere else online) - their ticketing offices are a bit far away. Good food options but not a lot. They have an ATM inside. Clean bathrooms tho need repairs on some door knobs. They have blind masseuses too. They have tricycles outside that can take you to the bus terminal where buses can go straight to Panglao (awesome if you have time and are traveling alone). Good experience.

It’s ok, fast, you need to pay 30PHP for port fee, there’s a seven eleven inside and some stores and places to seat, overall good and easy to get to your gate. I was expecting worse based on the comments, everything was straight to the point and fast, you just get there, pay and wait, simple as that… there are plenty of options if you want to grab a bite

Pretty clean and organised .. at least the Oceanjet boarding and disembarking. Would have no problem recommending people take the fast boat ..it's comfortable and worth it ..good value for money. They also sell various foods at the terminal for passengers and varied snacks on the boat itself too.

We reach the port afternoon time, inside got aircon, selling snack, drink and souvenir. Got blind people massage service and great to see they give opportunity for them, next time can come early 1 hour so can enjoy the massage service which start from 30min for neck and shoulder. One thing to highlight, i pass my luggage to Oceanjet counter and luggage already sending to the cruise, i found out i missed out one thing and left inside my luggage, when i ask security officer there, they start to communicate and bring me to find my luggage even all pack together lugage so heavy but they still help me to find my one and take out the thing that i want with smile face and great attitude. Really appreciate for their help on that day. Salute to the team!

The ticketing office is very far from the port. You will walk for at least 200 meters. The port is very hot. Inside the port, there are food stalls, but the prices are very high. If you’re hungry, there is a 7-Eleven beside the port, which is a little cheaper.

We visited this restaurant after a long food trip around the Philippines, and it felt amazing to finally enjoy such incredible food after all the different kitchens we’d tried. The dishes were absolutely delicious! The owner, an Italian, and his wife were so warm and welcoming, they truly made it an experience. He even surprised us with a shot of limoncello at the end, which was the perfect touch

An authentic italian restaurant with an excellent chef, Guido, from italian origin. A cosy place, quiet, in the center of Tagbilaran. A nice decor which make you feel at home in Italy. A garden with trees giving shadow. A good service from 2 waitresses under the kind supervision from Guido, who like to converse with his guests, even more if you speak italian. The dishes we had, bruschetta and a 4 cheese pizza, mmmh, yummy! I took a glass of good red wine from Abruzzo. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommended. Here you can find many options, but for sure I would recommend the pizza (Parma ham with fresh basil as in the picture) and home made pasta (spinach ravioli). Pizza is well cooked and not burned, dough not chewy, tomato sauce very good. Also salads were good. All served by kind staff in a peaceful terrace. We came here 3/3 nights. Congratulations to Guido, Helen and the staff.

Finally we went there to eat lunch with my husband. Been planning to dine in the restaurant for a quite time. Whoo, the foods are so delicious more than what I expected to. We talked with a gorgeous owners and they're really kind, friendly and approachable. The story they have is really fascinating. You can tell how good the relationship they have with their employees. They made their own fresh pasta which is a big plus. 👌👏👏👏 And they also do expirement most of their ingredients. They have their own spicy sauce, they usually get good feedbacks on it--must try next time. You can tell each food they serve is made of love. It tastes yummier, fresher and healthier. The all-meat pizza is the best pizza I ever tasted so far and looking forward to taste the rest pizzas. 😜 Really worth to find the place and eat there. Will comeback surely. You can't resist not to miss their foods. 😉

Best pizza and salad in the Philippines so far. Authentic Italian taste, quality ingredients. The staff are excellent, offer another beer as yours is finishing 👍. Level of service you don't find often. The setting is great, lots of parking, open and breezy so nice and cool. Clean toilets. You can watch the pizza being made and can see into the kitchen. (Love that) Highly recommended. We spent just over 1000 peso / under $20 for a large pizza, huge salad and a bucket of 5 beers.

Quiet place with a western style theme. Booths are the seating arrangement. Food was well presented and the beef with oyster sauce would have been excellent if served hot sizzling on a cast iron skillet! Overall the food was good.

Nice place, quiet with a great variety of local and international foods. I was in the morning for my morning coffee, I didn't try the food. The big problem is the internet. The mobile phone network does not work inside and that of the restaurant is very slow (I attach speed test), so, if you are a digital nomad, or work remotely it is not a place for you. Great, helpful and friendly staff.

A slice of Americana in the Philippines. This place is both a good restaurant and a mini museum of cowboy artifacts. In addition to that, they train and employ hearing challenged young adults. Went to Bohol and made a quick dinner stop at Garden Café in Tagbilaran—but wow, it turned into something special. The food was great, and the dragon fruit juice? Easily the best I’ve ever had. But what made it unforgettable was the staff—most of them are deaf, and the café exists to give them meaningful work and a welcoming space to thrive. The vibe was warm, and they even included a basic sign language guide in the menu so you can communicate with the servers. But for me, it was extra personal. I grew up learning sign because my aunt, who lives with us, is deaf—so signing is second nature to me. When I signed with our server and saw her light up, it instantly made my day. Moments like that remind me how beautiful inclusion is when people are seen, respected, and embraced. It wasn’t just a meal—it was a reminder of the kind of world we should all be creating. Big love to this café for serving food with heart and purpose. What a beautiful experience.

I had to try Garden Café when I saw that they serve Starbucks coffee, knowing that there aren’t any Starbucks branches in Bohol. True enough, they do serve Starbucks, though it’s the Nespresso-style pre-mixed shot kind (not brewed from whole beans), but still a nice option to have. I really enjoyed their bluberry cheesecake. It wasn’t overly sweet or too cheesy, just the right balance with a nice creamy texture. The ambiance of the place is great, and I love that they employ Deaf staff — it’s wonderful to see inclusivity in action. Paris in Tagbilaran was founded in 1595 by Jesuit missionaries. The original church was razed by fire in 1798. The church was reconstructed and enlarged from 1839 to 1855. The convent and the tower were constructed from 1884 to 1888. Due to the 2013 Bohol earthquake, the exterior and interior of the cathedral had undergone major reconstructions. The church was very crowded on Palm Sunday.

this place has a magnificent interior design. the moral on the ceiling is majestic and makes you feel like your in Rome. the place offers a car park for those who has vehicles. although the exterior part of the cathedral may look old but that is what makes the cathedral look authentic.. the candle area is loceted beside the cathedral which also has beautiful statues of Jesus, Mary, Jospeh, etc. right next to the candle area is the rest room which is clean and oderless... overall, i love the place and would plan to visit here if i ever come back to Bohol....

One of the oldest churches in the Philippines. If you are a devoted Catholic or Christian, you will appreciate this church its architecture and history. It's close to the sea, and if you walk around the outside of the church, you'll see it. Overall, it's beautiful and worth visiting.

Absolutely stunning. With an imposing exterior and a beautifully painted interior, this church is worth a visit. A bonus treat is the Dauis watchtower and a small, quiet jetty, both located at the back of the church.

This parish was named a National Historical Landmark by the National Historical Commission. The paintings and altars are so beautiful. Some of the artwork made me reflect on how the Holy Spirit guided the Holy Family before the birth of Jesus and how significant Jesus' life was. It was really humid tho so make sure to dress light but modest. Bring a fan also. Mass wise- there's a 4pm English Mass on Saturdays. There's usually a wedding beforehand so just be conscious about the time. The speakers arent that great either so if you want to hear Mass, choose a front pew. There's also a blessing for healing after the Mass. All in all, great parish to check out while you're in Bohol! God Bless 🤗

Beautiful 17th century Roman Catholic Church. Unfortunately it was largely destroyed in an earthquake and rebuilt. Looks amazing, the interior is very beautiful compared with the rather simple exterior.

Located near their municipal hall. Few minutes away from the city center. Huge parking spaces on the side. You can go near our lady of the assumption statue at the center. Just follow the signs (entrance at the left; exit at the right). They have a convent hall at a building opposite the church. Comfort rooms are located around there as well.

I stayed at this hotel and had a dinner and a breakfast (free) here. For dinner, one good thing is that they open till 10pm, which is good for tourists who have a long day and just want to find somewhere close for a meal. Carrot cake is quite good, not very sweet. It served with cream cheese to add some more tastes. Berry shake is ok, not amazing but good enough for hot weather in Bohol. Pasta is a little bit dried, it's the most disappointing food I got here, that's why one star is taken away. For breakfast, it's amazing. Very big portion and food is tasty. For a hotel at this price, it's over my expectation.

I can just give a review for the cakes and not for the food. I have two favourites that i try in every country, Cheescake and Carrot cake. Both unfortunately failed. The coffee was O.K. The look of the cakes was amazing, but not the taste.. The cakes were too dry..

Nice cafe to chill while waiting. Food is average. Their red velvet is not too sweet which I like. Parking is limited but there’s a pay parking area nearby.

I would have given 5 stars for Service but my take out Ube Deluxe Cake was not packed properly. It was just placed inside the paper bag with no plastic/paper cover for the cake itself. It ended up being destroyed when I was about to eat it. On the other hand, they have a variety of foods and drinks to serve. I love their carbonara. Their breads are tasty as well. It’s just they need to improve on their packaging especially for take out goods.

Overall, they had good service and was very efficient. They had no hesitation when we requested for food to be sent to our rooms. Food wise: Meat Pizza - dough was like bread, but the meat and toppings were still okay Pork Steak with Java Rice - pretty good! Pork was tender and java rice was surprisingly very delicious! Loved the sauce, a little on the starchy side. Green Apple Lemonade - syrup, not our cup of tea!

I had to visit here because of nostalgia. Ive known this place since I was young and I had lots of fond memories. The place and atmosphere has greatly improved. I love the ambiance as I absolutely love roosters and chicken. The food was great as always. My all time favourite is the chicken bbq paired with the fish sauce. I wish they still had the side atchara (they used to have it years back). Halo halo was great and I wish it was server on a green coconut shell as that was my all time fave and my standard for halo halo due to Payag had set the standard for me that halo halo for me can only be served in a buko shell. So many great memories. Thank you Payag

This is a very unique restaurant. The largest collection of chicken figurines, plates, pictures, and sculptures. And don’t forget to “egg” lights on the ceiling. And the wood trim and display cabinets are very artistic. While you are there, enjoy the food as well.

Tender, marinated chicken grilled to perfection, served with a side of vinegar and chili dipping sauce. Payag Restaurant is a great option for anyone looking to experience delicious Boholano cuisine. With its extensive menu, casual atmosphere, and friendly service, it's no wonder that it has been a local favorite for so many years. I highly recommend Payag Restaurant to anyone visiting Bohol. It's a great place to try authentic Boholano food at a reasonable price.

One of the few original restaurants in the province that are opened way back in the day and are still standing—which is good. The age is showing within its interiors though, and the whole place is not as regularly crowded as before with competition sprouting everywhere. The familiarity of the place makes it comfortable, but it could definitely use a few improvements—from the paint on the walls, lighting, rest room fixtures, to overall aesthetics. It still uses plastic straws for its cold beverages. Food is fine and affordable, if you are simply looking for something that fills your appetite. We particularly loved the Sizzling Gambas and Crispy Crablets. Their Chicken Chicharon and Chicharon Bulaklak needed to be crispier because our order were slightly on the chewier side. Orders could take a long while to be served. There is no free WiFi here as well.

Went here at around 5:30 PM. The place is still empty. Great ambiance and you can see the owner's obsession with chicken. Anyway, we got their grilled chicken super combo, sinigang, chicken easol and salad. Everything was just okay. The grilled chicken however, is really good.

Discovered this place accidentally on our first day in Panglao. Good food nice place. The interior was very cosy full of chicken 🍗🐓🐔 but so refreshing taking you back to old times. Very happy to get lost and find such gem.

Unfortunately there was clearly not enough staff on shift to keep up with keeping the restaurant clean, every single table had dirty trays and rubbish on which meant new customers could not find places to sit. Staff were working hard but could not keep up.

Has to wait for almost an hour, I understand the busy work but I repeatedly ask for an update for my order yet no progress and the people after my order have already received their order. Fastfood yet so slow in service. No proper divisions of work, theres no teamwork in the kitchen

Happy for the 24-hour open McDo. McDo should be McDo wherever you go. Same standard for all branches. Same quality of food. But this one failed my experience. I ordered coffee and hot fudge sundae. First of all, they said that the large coffee refillable is only for mornings only, but I paid P54 for the coffee. Coffee taste was watered down. It feels like I was drinking water with some hint of coffee. Sundae was also a big fail. It lacked the texture and taste of the Katipunan McDo sundae. But apparently, this McDo is a hit in terms of many customers. But they don't know that better quality mcdo food can be experienced.

This location requires customers to order at the digital kiosk instead of at the counter. My vision doesn't allow me to read the digital kiosk. If I was alone I wouldn't be able to place an order. Our breakfast chicken sandwich was very tough like maybe it had been cooked and then cooked a second time. It might have been leftover from the day before then re-heated for breakfast. Comparing apples to apples the food was bad for McDonald's. The restaurant is located inside BQ mall. You have to pay to park at BQ and you can't redeem your parking expense at McDonald's so no free parking for this location.

They really improved since their re-opening by the end of 2019. The service is now faster, and their crew is more alert and accommodating. I gotta say — this branch has changed from being the worst to becoming the best fast food store in Bohol. The place got re-vamped, to avoid a long queue. They segregated the line for when you order your food, and the corner where you can claim it. Its such a brilliant idea. Heck, now, it's the customers themselves who are slow... slow in claiming their orders. I feel sorry for the staff yelling the order number multiple times before the dumb customer comes up and claims the order.

The food is prepared as ordered, so it's piping hot. The servers are also the chefs. They seem to be wearing their house clothes instead of uniform, which makes it look very casual. The dining area is small but appears clean. Our order is cooked one at a time so it took some time to serve. They have several items that are not available on the menu. They do not have wasabe during our visit. They do serve free cold tea. There can be some mistake in cooking like eggshell bits in our futomaki. They only accept cash payments. Parking is on the street in front of the restaurant.

DO NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL!!! It was a terrible experience. For the amount of money we paid, we could have gone instead to a fancy restaurant and saved more-- in fact, we would have saved more money and ate more food by going to a samgyup restaurant. Taste wise it was all underwhelming and definitely not the 300 - 380 peso price tag. We ordered a depressing Oyacodon(Php 300), a mediocre yakisoba(Php250), and a sushi that didn't even come with Wasabi(Php380). The menu was limited and didnt even have ramen. The ladies were okay to talk to, but were not very attentive to our needs. I don't mind paying more but it felt like eating at a carenderiahan that tried being japanese.

Food choices were limited but their recommendation, which was Buta Don, was tasty. It was surprisingly sumptuous given that I didn’t expect it to taste that good. The diner was pretty small but it’s absolutely perfect for people who avoid crowds. It could only serve 7 to 8 people due to the limited seats. Location is alright given it’s in Tagbilaran City. I went there with my colleague, Glen, and we both had a few other food selections to try. Will go back to try the rest.

Place is suprisingly small, like it could only accommodate seven to eight persons around its bar-like table which surrounds and faces the better part of its open kitchen. But this tight layout though reminds you of local Japanese roadside shops—every space is maximized despite its minimalist style, the atmosphere both rustic and homey. For now, its menu is comprised of only three items, items we all got to taste and are not disappointed with. They are tasty, generous in serving, and plated with care. Although it does not provide any WiFi connectivity, does not have its own parking area, and the bathroom seems to be missing, this place is promising.

Visiting Hinagdanan Cave was such a great experience! The cave itself is beautiful, with stunning rock formations and a magical atmosphere. The water inside is refreshingly cold — perfect for a swim after exploring. It’s a nice place to relax, enjoy nature, and have a unique swimming experience. Definitely worth a visit! 🙋‍♀️

Hinagdanan Cave is a popular natural attraction in Bohol. We went here in a rush about almost 3pm since they are open only from morning 8:00 AM to late afternoon 4:00 PM. ​It is said the best time to visit is on a weekday and as early as possible (around opening time) to avoid crowds. The cave can get busy, especially on weekends and holidays. ​ When you go in, you'd see impressive stalactite and stalagmite formations. ​Yes, there is an entrance fee to simply enter and view the cave. ​There is a separate and additional fee if you wish to swim in the underground lagoon. I just forgot how much it did cost us when we visit. ​Also, fees can change, so it's best to check current rates before visiting. The entrance is a narrow descent with steps, and the interior can be slippery. It is generally not wheelchair accessible or recommended for individuals with reduced mobility. Watch out for your Kids as well as there are restricted areas on the cave. ​ ​The lagoon is a mix of fresh and possibly saltwater, with depths that can reach about 10 meters (32 feet). ​Life jackets are usually available for rent or provided for swimmers. Overall, we were thrilled to have experience the historic lagoon in Bohol.

The experience is unforgettable. It is my first time going to cave. I am speechless about how beautiful the cave is. So please swim on the Lagoon inside the cave for the full experience. There are entrance fee (october 2025) if you want to visit only 50 pesos and if you want to swim you will add 75 pesos and total is (125 pesos).

This is a quick trip If you're not planning on swimming. We were in an out in less than half an hour. It's inexpensive so still worth the visit however don't expect a lot. Staff are alright. Lots of aggressive and loud vendors - learn to say no and walk away. Overall a decent experience

For 50 pesos you will enjoy the beauty of Hinagdanan cave, it is just a walking distance in Mithi resort. You can swim for 80 pesos additional, which we did not grab. The entrance is narrow, so be careful. There is only one passageway for entrance and exit. Suggestion to improve: hard hats for every visitor for safety. God Bless.

A cool place to visit but unless you’re going swimming in the cave, it’s a 5-10 minute stop. 50 pesos for entrance fee. An easy 10-15 minute tuk tuk ride from our hotel in Dauis area.

The entrance is 50 pesos/head and you would need to add 75 pesos /head if you wanted to swim. The water is clear and some tourists were already enjoying their swim in the cave when we centered. The steps going down are a little narrow and you have to be careful since it's slippery.

Surprisingly well structured museum, fully air-conditioned and even has an elevator. The museum pieces, albeit small in number, are interesting nonetheless. Free admission and friendly/knowledgeable staff. Worth a 30 minute visit!

Since I started travelling, really like to visit museums/provisions that displays anything pervaded the city. One is to know the history though I don't really read all of the artifacts but just seeing them in one depository makes my visit complete. Two is to feel connected and see what are the things to expect aside from just seeing the views. Three is to take some photos for keepsake. It was a great experience. It's just free. A must visit especially for students. Museums are very informative. ALSO, for tourist, if you are planning to buy ASIN-TIBUOK and you want to visit here, they are being sold at the entrance (front desk) and it was sold by SRP as they are direct from the maker.

A nice place to visit when you are in Tagbilaran City, spacious for its size and is full of artifacts that are related to the province of Bohol. Very clean and the staff are very accommodating, a must-visit if you can go.

Worth a visit! The National Museum Bohol is small but packed with information and fascinating artifacts. It made me appreciate just how rich Bohol’s history and culture are.

This is my first time to experience Chicken Ati-Atihan restaurant and I enjoyed it. We were 18 in our group and we had lots of fun. The place is spacious to accomodate big party groups or smaller groups and solo eaters. The staff were great. Even if there were many big groups as well as small groups, they were still able to provide good and efficient service to all. The food tastes great. Chicken inasal was cooked just right. Still juicy in the inside but crunchy on the skin side. The lechon kawali was also great. Crunchy and tasty. The kilawin, pancit guisado and fish fingers were great tasting as well. All in all, it was a great first experience. Will definitely be back to try other food in the menu.

The chicken is tasty, great marinade and juicy inside. Maybe I was expecting more like a papaya salad or vibey atmosphere but these were lacking. It's a good place to get chicken but nothing special. The chicken oil is spicy and yummy. The wait staff were a bit preoccupied with their own conversations so it was difficult to get service.

Their squid is damn good, big, fresh, no overcook and everything just perfect. Chicken also yummy but rice portion abit small and their mango shake taste abit durian favor dont know why, not so rich in mango favor. Another stall got sell bubble tea in many selection and taste better. Staff just chichat not really care about customer, we hv a lunch there, vibe hot and hv a lot of flies really spoil my mood, end up i found out got many small fan put on counter table, we request then they give however we just sit in front of their counter their staff just ignore n keep talking to each other make us hv a bad image. But their food is just perfect!

Pochero – ₱480 (Good for 2–3 persons) The soup is undeniably delicious, but the serving is quite small — I can literally finish the whole bowl by myself. Sisig – ₱310 (Good for 2–3 persons) The serving size is decent, but the taste reminds me more of humba. Not sure if that’s the local style of sisig here in Bohol.

This spot might be one of the best local finds near the port. The atmosphere is warm and family-friendly, perfect for relaxing after a day of travel. The staff were quick, polite, and clearly take pride in their work. Prices were more than fair, and the food came out fast and fresh. If you’re looking for a hearty meal and genuine local hospitality in Tagbiliran, Chicken Ati-Atihan is an easy choice.

Order a pork sasig that didn't tasted anything! Had to add chilli 🌶️ sauce, cold rice. Expensive for very basic tasteless food. Staff have an attitude and should be more polite.

Food is so so. Ambience a bit awkward since there are a few staff who looked disrepecting to us when we arrive. You can also hear them softly whispering while looking at you. Order was not complete. I dont know if the waiter was deaf. Only good thing here was the ambiance but the people made it not good as well. Lol.

The service was terrible. We waited almost 2 hours for our food, even though we ordered first. Five other tables got their food before us. When our pizza was finally ready, they gave it to another table by mistake, and we had to wait another hour. We followed up five times, but the staff just kept blaming each other. I really love Buzz Restaurant, but I’ll never come back to this branch.

Although the place could use a bit of updating, it’s still a nice place after lunch service to while your time away. The AC was strong, I was able to charge my phone and no one cared I stayed for an hour and a bit more. I’ve always loved their ice cream choices, sikwate and puto were not to my liking.

The place seem to be very small looking outside the entrance but very cozy and spacious inside. It has many tables that can accommodate different group sizes. The food is great. It is very relaxing and staffs are really doing their job. But because of the goodness of the place, expect a lot of people dining during meal hours. The store is open from 7 am to 9 pm.

The restaurant now has a new look and layout, but it keeps its rustic charms and relaxed ambience. It feels a little less spacious though because the space makes room for a larger open area. The food remains great and it has significantly expanded its menu items. The restaurant also sells ice cream in scoops or in tubs, breads, spreads, and organic home products like lip balms, soaps, shampoo and conditioner. This resto remains to be a favorite among locals and tourists.

Nice food, lovely ambience resembling a farm. You also get a good view of the sea and the ferry terminal from here. Spicy beef pasta tasted better than it looks. Drinks are yummy and reasonably priced too.

The second time around but the first time around taking their precious rice meal. The food itself is unquestionable taste and surprisingly wow. The pork meat is just so tender. Perfectly cooked black rice. Fresh is fresh for lumpia. Lemon Grass for drink. Its even quite quick for the serving time. Everthing is almost perfection. #Highly recommended.

If you are a health concious person, well this place suits for you. They served a lot of healthy options from appetizer, main dish and dessert that claimed to be organic and homemade. It is a well-known for its nature-inspired plating of their food that I found really eye-catching especially those with edible flowers that I've never known. And the best I could describe is their ice cream that is way beyond compare. The fruity and milky texture of the ice cream top on a unique cone of cassava would make you ask for more. Overall, it is no wonder why it is called a Bohol's pride cafeteria...

The Blood Compact Shrine in Tagbilaran is a small but meaningful historical site. It marks the first peace treaty between the Spaniards and Filipinos in 1565. The bronze statue is well-made and overlooks a nice sea view. It’s a quick stop that you can include in your tour if you have extra time. There’s no entrance fee, but there’s not much historical signage and not much else to see. It would also be great if local officials could improve the road leading to the monument.

The sculpture was transferred to a new location near the coast, few meters from the original site. The new location is much spacious with potential to accommodate more historical structures. There is now dedicated parking area, however the road created to access the site is yet to be paved. There are few shops offering quick bites, souvenirs and photography. There are lots to improve, but overall the experience is great.

It's a nice place to take in history or if you just wanna have a relaxing day at the park. I wish there were more stalls to get food though. There was one food truck when we went, but it was closed-not sure if it's permanently closed or not though. It might be cause it was already late in the afternoon when we went and it wasn't open.

This site is easily accessible and holds great historical significance. It appears they are working to develop it into more of a tourist park, with souvenir trucks and displays of statues honoring important figures in the island’s history. Unfortunately, many of the statues are poorly crafted and not well maintained, showing visible signs of decay.

Just a statue depicting the scene of the Blood compact. The road leading to the area was rocky and not maintained. There must be a good access to the place.

One of the classic tourist curcuit stops. They moved it from the main road to down by the amphitheater. A few flights down to reach it, or take the single lane muddy road. Decent spot for a picnic in the city.

Quick stop at Baclayon Church - still amazed me I’m always amazed by the history and cultural importance of Baclayon Church. It’s one of those places that really makes you think how far back our history goes. There’s no big change since the last time I visited and that was 18 years ago! I remember hearing that the bell tower collapsed during the 2013 earthquake, but thankfully it has now been restored. I didn’t get to go inside this time as it was closed, but still happy to stop by even for a few minutes. The church, built in 1727, is one of the oldest in the country and you can really feel that when you’re there. Short visit, but always worth a look if you’re nearby.

Baclayon Church is a beautiful and historic landmark that’s perfect for a quick cultural stop. Its preserved Spanish-era architecture and peaceful atmosphere make it a meaningful place to pause, reflect, and snap a few photos. While it’s not a long-stay destination, it’s definitely worth visiting to appreciate a piece of Bohol’s rich heritage.

We made our usual quick stop at Baclayon Church, known as the oldest church in Bohol. The structure is rich with history and character, and every visit feels like stepping back in time. As someone who loves old and historical places, I’m always amazed by its charm and significance.

I am amazed when i got in on the church. the murals on the ceiling are eye catching and will stop to admire.

It’s old, grand, and full of history — definitely a meaningful visit. But once you’ve lit a candle and taken your pics, that’s about it. Once is enough unless you're into historic churches!

The church is well preserved, there's a museum here where you can learn more about the church's history. The main door of church is closed if they don't have a mass, and you can only access it through their museum where you need to pay for the ticket. If you have a student id, you can have a discount.

Just the usual old church in the Philippines and its fascinating that they have repaired it almost from its original form. They a museum inside and you need to wear proper clothing for the girls

I wasn’t expecting Baclayon Church and the Baclayon Art Museum to be this beautiful! The architecture and the atmosphere are truly stunning, and you can really feel the depth of history in every corner. Its historical importance is something that deserves great respect. Definitely a must-visit for anyone exploring Bohol. ⛪✨

A small but great hotel, which has a beautiful view from the pool area. There are 2 very nice pool areas which is a great place to relax after breakfast or in the evening. Room - was a bit small and the hand sink was outside the toilet (but still inside the room) - however this was not an issue for me. The room, bed and bathroom was clean and tidy. Facilities - has 2 very nice pool areas, which are a great place to relax after breakfast or in the evening. Also the view from the pool area is stunning Internet is working fine across the hotel Breakfast was OK and had an OK selection of items, including western items. Downsides: There was no hot water in the shower in the room. Fitness machines are limited to 2 machines. Location: Slightly away from Tagbilaran city (10-15 min drive), which was great as there is a little less traffic although the road outside is a main road. The hotel is right next to the Bloodpact Shrine, which was also convenient as I had not been there on prior PH trips Staff - was nice and friendly

The staff (with the exception of front desk check-in lady and the guy posing as maintenance) were all very friendly and accommodating. That staff is what keeps the property from getting a 1 star rating. Our plane was early so got to the hotel early. The room wasn't ready, understandable. But, knowing guests had arrived and were waiting, they didn't focus on that room. They made us wait until the end. Internet at the property is bad. Cuts out often every day. The wifi signal is so weak, when trying to make a flight reservation, pages wouldn't load because of 'weak signal'. We paid for a full buffet breakfast with the reservation. The one day, it wasn't served. Breakfast was ala-carte but things from the buffet were not available. That's not a 'full breakfast' as their website lists. The buffet had water, juice and tea to drink. The day it wasn't served, we had to pay for the same juice that is free with the buffet. If the hotel wasn't very full, it would be cost efficient not to prepare all of the buffet food but all of it should've been available to order. At night, the lights weren't working in the hall. Picture shows the hallway. The light around our door shows what the hallway was like. On day 2 they started running out of things. On 2nd evening, our shower stopped draining. Front desk said they would notify maintenance. This young kid that didn't know maintenance came. He banged on the shower faucet (for a draining issue) and then plunged. He said he was going outside to see if he could find an issue. He left and didn't shut our door. It didn't shut automatically. He never came back. We waited and waited and got no response. Even after seeing him days later doing other functions he never said a word. The shower drain finally drained by morning. After that, whenever the toilet was flushed or shower used, the shower drain started gurgling and spewing gases into the bathroom. It was nasty. The sheets were not changed in 4 days. We reused towels but had the room cleaned daily. The same sheets were used. Even when we stripped the bed, they used the same dirty sheets. The ocean view is above trees. No ocean access.

Stayed here in July, was nice in some respects, others not so good . I have never had to make so many requests to reception in my life. About 10. We stayed 4 nights but only 2 nights comfortably. We had no hot water and on the third repair it was realised that the unit was broken. Also my main complaint was an incredibly uncomfortable bed. I had to go down and get the cushions off the loungers to try and make it comfortable. The reception were of little help, the cleaners were far more helpful and placed a topper from another room on what they said was an old bed, no doubt leaving another bed uncomfortable for someone else, but I was grateful. Others staying here I talked to did not have the same issue and seemed to like it here, so maybe just a case of some rooms being more tired than others. The restaurant did serve some good food, but I wouldn't stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. Instead of being in the city it’s just slightly outside so you’re closer to the waterfalls, chocolate hills, tarsiers, etc. has two beautiful and clean pools. The staff is constantly cleaning. Even has some workout items. Rooms are also clean. Dropped to a 4 because the food was only “ok” and there was a beautiful wedding the day we arrived that took up a huge portion of the common area space so one pool and the restaurant was unavailable. That is totally fine but I feel we should have been advised and maybe given a slight discount for the inconvenience. We didn’t know until we arrived.

Had a bad experience in this hotel. The water dispensers are mislabelled, the blue one is for hot water, and the white color is cold. Our room’s aircon is broken, it leaked. Service is good, hotel staff are nice.

I can only speak about the bar and restaurant. People and staff were super friendly, food good for bohol, place is beautiful with an amazing view, incredible live music, nice pool, all clean and super comfortable. I would stay here every day if I could! I am not sure about the rooms but absolutely do not fathom when people post pictures of geckos and complain about them! Geckos are clean creatures part of nature here and they help get rid of moskitos and all sorts of other nasty creatures. Why on earth would you see this as a sign of dirt? This means you are a person frankly that shouldn't travel in Asia. I mean cockroaches is another story, I totally get that. But geckos, c'mon :) Anyhow, this is to say for me this place is a true bit of heaven and everyone should just at least try the cafe and restaurant out for themselves and do an own judgment. 🥰😊

They have lot of stuff but everyone are all lazy to accommodate our needs. Their meats are bad also. It tastes awfully bad. We didn’t even cooked it all. Not gonna come back and wont recommend this place.

Quality of meat is great. Waiters are lazy as usual. No plate is placed until asked. Ordered drinks not served until asked again. They basically just stand and stare which is a common scene here tbh. Better buy meat here and take home.

I've been here more than twice already, but the staff attitudes never changed. They don't initiate service, and it shows on their faces that they don't want to serve.

I loved my experience here. First we reserved a table and good thing coz by the time we arrived, the tables were occupied. We choose unlimited samgyeop that we can choose either beef or pork! Best to come here is when you are hungry. 😁🤣 The staff is fast on their service. The place is clean also... GOOD JOB! 🥰

Ordered the unli pork samgyupsal for 363 PHP. Pork meat quality is disappointing. There is too much fat on the pork that I have to extract it before eating (photo attached). The skin part of the pork is chewy. You need to ask separately for different sauces, they don't give it first hand. Only few side dishes are included. Cleanliness of the place can be improved. Might not come back and choose other samgyupasal restaurants instead. On the other hand, service crew are approachable. Ambiance is comfortable. Other dishes might be good options but I haven't tried yet.

I always get the Shabu-shabu because they have the best cuts of meat... Super fresh and extra healthy. Their staff is super attentive and will even cook for you if you go with the KBBQ.

Power Tripping- My family and I have been both take-out and dine-in customers since before the pandemic. I remember going here almost every Friday after swimming class to eat, and I was very excited every time. Despite being packed with customers no altercations ever happened. But today I've experienced the worst customer WHO CLAIMED TO BE A RELATIVE OF THE OWNER. It started when this group of ladies arrived. They soon started to pick up food when I noticed that her companion was holding the thong in her right hand and using her left hand to pick up the food. So deep inside I was like what's the use for the thong when clearly she isn't using it to pick up the foods right? Before stepping in to ask her, I observed for a few minutes. Yet she hasn't let go of the thong still despite some customers also waiting to use it. So I stepped forward and asked her what method she preferred to use: Her hand or the thong when picking her preferred food cause some were waiting in a queue for that thong to be used to pick up the pork chop. (Only one thong was provided by the management) cause the rest of the choices were on a stick already. She replied in a cool tone with a "na rattle naman gud ko maam" which was understandable cause she clearly was "na rattle". But her friend "the cousin of the owner" butt in with a contraindicating voice that started the argument. She told us to wait when in fact no one pressured them to fasten. At the counter, I told my mom that I spoke up cause it seemed like they were hoarding the thong and that it would be insensitive to do that. This lady AGAIN butt in and said strongly MAGHULAT MO KAY IGAGAW NAKO NING TAG IYA! That was the time my Mom had enough of it, she spoke and said "So ig-agaway na diay ni". This lady came out boastful and rude and at that moment I was ready to fight back with an "AND SO?" but thankfully her friend and the person in charge at the counter were very kind enough to be the ones asking for apology on how that lady who unrelatedly boasted that she is the owner's cousin. Therefore, I would recommend that Acacia de Bubu add more thongs so this situation does not happen again and hopefully, this to reach the owner of the business since I was clearly disappointed with how his/her relative pleasantly used the power of blood relationship as a way to trip customers and be powerful in your establishment. For that reason, I considered it Power Tripping. Food-wise, Acacia de Bubu has maintained its flavour quality which made us come back numerously.

Price and place were OK. Service and food were OK too. It's nice for students/persons with quite tight budget. It's somewhat similar to Ubay's "sky's the limit" but the food is cheaper there.

Really good local bbq! The concept is quite nice - u choose ur own plate of raw/pre-grilled/marinated chicken, pork or beef pieces or skewers and they grill it with some absolutely amazing sauce. I did try to find out the sauce recipe - no chance:))) Will try again tomorrow.. Need that grilled goodness back in my life!

Worst service and food—don't waste your money. This used to be a good restaurant back when I was in high school. I ordered hot calamansi juice for myself and cold calamansi juice for my wife. For our meals, I ordered sizzling chicken, and my wife had chicken rice toppings. We waited 30 minutes for the drinks, and I had to prompt the waitress to serve them while we were still waiting for the food. When my hot calamansi arrived, I took a sip and found it extremely sour, almost like muriatic acid. I added all the sugar packets they gave me, but it was still unbearably sour. I asked the waitress if they had used liquid lemon juice instead of fresh calamansi, but she assured me it was fresh. I then asked her to add one calamansi to the drink. When she took my cup back to the pantry, I overheard them whispering to just add more hot water. When they served it back to me, it tasted even worse than before. When the food finally arrived, my sizzling chicken and my wife’s chicken rice topping were practically the same, except hers had a Chinese cabbage. Both dishes had the same sauce and flavor. I paid 710 pesos for this disappointing experience. I will definitely not be coming back, and I don't recommend this place to my friends and family. Overall negative zero.

On the day of my in laws son Christening we entered a room full of visible mold around aircons, ceiling, plaster and so on. The rooms my in-laws booked for the night were shocking also and required changing over. Then to the law factors of this facility. No handwash or soap in sight at the toilets, toilets are filthy, no papertowel to dry your hands Phillipines law pd856 states soap must absolutely be provided in restrooms of food-serving establishments. I have not seen the venues sanitary permit displayed on the door we entered. And we are considering to report the issue to the Tagb. City Health Office with evidence. Kind regards Zimmermann

Alright, so I had a bit of a nostalgic tinge and decided to eat here. We had hongkong fried rice, Chicken feet siomai, pork siomai, lemon chicken, and fried bread. I came here for the fried bread. The food was soooo overpriced. I would've tolerated the price if the food was decent but no, the fried rice looked and tasted like it fell in riverwater, and both siomai were drier than the Sahara Desert! The only redeeming part of the meals were the lemon chicken and the fried bread. I DO NOT recommend ordering from this place, but if you had to, then just go for the patatim and the fried bread.

Food is ok. But their goodnsound system is not compatible with their room design sound is bouncing around loudly. And they chose to put a singer/musician for entertainment there. We cant have a conversation on such big tables without shouting at each other

Great place to come to get away from the noise, hustle and bustle of the city centre. Hidden a little away off the beaten track, this place has views across the estuary and a laid back atmosphere. It has a varied menu at very good prices.

It took some time for the food to come out. But it surely paid off when you finally could enjoy the tasty food. The ambiance is just nice and cozy. Staffs are also friendly. For the prices, they are standard just like other restaurants. This is one of the restaurants you should try when visiting Bohol.

We had our company training held here at jj's , the conference rooms were ok, there were two air conditioning but the other one is broken, food served were ordinary nothing special, and there were rarely seafoods (they shouldn't have named thier restaurant jj's seafood village if they rarely serve seafoods).. the accommodations is bad, first we were supposed to check in 2pm but we waited 4 hours till 6pm- yes 4 hours...and the beds, were to our disgust, full of bedbugs, but the staff sprayed it with lysol (i didn't know lysol could kill bugs but it somehow worked). The bathroom is also bad, they have very slow running water and there is no ventilation. On the good side..the staff were pretty accomodating i would have given it a one star if it wasn't because of the staff. The location of the hotel is convenient, its near the pier about a 100 meters away. Their deluxe rooms are priced at 1500, and they have a standard room (good for 2) which if im not mistaken priced at 850.
