Sakchi Market is one of the busiest and most vibrant places in Jamshedpur. You can find almost everything here — from clothes and electronics to fresh vegetables and street food. It's a bit crowded and chaotic, especially in the evenings, but that's part of its charm. Bargaining is common, and if you're good at it, you can get great deals. Parking can be a challenge, so it's better to visit on foot or by auto. Overall, a great place for shopping and soaking in the local vibe.

Ajay K — Google review
Sakchi Market is one of the largest and oldest markets in the city of Jamshedpur, Jharkhand. Sakchi was the village in north eastern India territory of Singhbhum which was selected by Jamshedji Tata to be the location of a planned steel city, which in 1919 became Jamshedpur. Sakchi is now part of the city between the Tata Steel site and the river Subarnarekha. Then it was known as Kalimati. Due to the presence of iron ore, river water and sand. Jamshedji Tata decided to establish TISCO (Tata Iron and Steel Company Limited) there. The company is now known as Tata Steel Ltd. The speciality of this markets is the availability of traditional and modern Indian garments & ornaments. One can also find a range of beautiful and comfotrtable shoes, t-shirts, lowers and more. Electronic accessories and gadgets are also available here. Every small to big shopping mall are available here. Every type of snack, sweats is also the speciality of this market. Price of things is vary from cheaper to costlier. Due to very crowded, parking of vehicles is major concern.

It’s a great experience. The ambiance is very welcoming and charming. Amazing food and service. Staff are extremely friendly and wanna specially mention Mr. Hemant for his lovely service.

Hey so if you are looking for wholesome food experience this place is for you: •So I went to this place for little snack time with my mom and so we ordered steam momos and blue lagoon mocktail although food was really good but chutney was stale that disappointed me a little •We really ordered very few things but it took them almost 45mins so it was very time taking •Atmosphere was really very good not much crowded it was good for quality time • Staffs were really kind and humble so shoutout to them for such a good service!!!
Silpi K — Google review
Good quality food. Best dish of the day: Shabnami kebab (a must try) Service was good. Quantity of food was absolutely perfect. A good restaurant for a large number of people as well as a family of 4.
Shreyash S — Google review
It was a nice restaurant, we had a lovely time. The staff did a very very good job. We had a warm welcome. They were friendly, helpful, patient, explaining very well. A hugh number of dishes are prepared in front of us. The food was delicious, well cooked, tasty. I would definitely recommend this restaurant. Price was a bit higher comparing with other restaurants near by but the quality and taste of food was unmatchable
Mirza A — Google review
Nice ambience with yummy food The waiter and manager were very polite Definitely a recommendation to go out with friends and family
Rohan V — Google review
Food is really good also the ambience is fine. Staffs are polite and do not delay ur orders. I think this restaurant has the potential to retain customers if they maintain quality. The price is also reasonable. There is limited parking space but I guess this is sufficient for the current volume of customers
Touseef Z — Google review
What do people generally notice when they enter a restaurant? Obviously, it's the interiors, right? The first thing that I noticed there was a lot of smoke inside the restaurant and that was because of sizzlers they were serving to their customers. Seriously? No venting? Okay! The place was a bit congested for me. Otherwise, the interior was good and I liked the white cute Luna bike they have placed near the reception area. For the non-vegetarian starters, we had Abu Chilli Kebab, Murgh Boti Kebab, Fish Tikka Ajawaini. Everything came with onion rings and green chutney dip. Fish tikkas were great but what I liked the most was Abu Chilli Kebab and Murgh Boti Kebab. Though they were hot they tasted so delicious and the pieces were so tender and juicy. Cooked to perfection. I would definitely recommend these two starters to every non-vegetarian lover to try them when you are there. For the vegetarian starter, we Crispy Baby Chilli Corn and Buddha Delight, they were finger-licking good. Trust me! Perfectly crispy from outside and soft from inside with tasty in every-single-bite. These are addictive. We ordered Chicken Biryani, Chicken Tikka Biryani, Murgh Dehati, and Butter Naan for the non-vegetarians and Mushroom Masala, Kadhai Paneer, and Butter Naan for the vegetarians. I was very much sure that I am not going to eat more than 3-4 spoon full of Biryani. But hey, hang in there! this restaurant just changed that thing. Like SERIOUSLY! Everything that I have mentioned here was LIP-SMACKINGLY DELICIOUS! Great food at a reasonable price. The service was good too.

It's a well maintained park. It's not very big but good for a one time visit. I really like how beautifully they have scripted the life of sir dorabji and his wife. This way people not only visit but also get to know about the life journey of them. Before visiting that park I had no clue about sir dorabji and his wife. But after visiting that place I got to know a lot about them and highly motivated from their journey.

The peaceful ambiance and well-maintained pathways are a bonus. Highly recommended for nature lovers and those seeking a serene escape from the city.

A very good park to spend some time with your kids. This park is made in the memory of Sir Dorabji Ji Tata which is formerly known as modi park. There is no any entry fee. There is sufficient parking space outside and is also free. The park has ample space for kids to run around and play. The park is pretty clean and well maintained by Tata. An ideal place for couples. Green grass looks attractive all the time specially in winter. There is no any washroom or toilet for visitors. One can find a large variety of trees and plants. The big parking space outside the park near Keenan Stadium is also crowded during winter season. You can also find vendors selling toys, baloons, soft drinks, chaat etc outside the main gate. You are free to carry your own food inside but please do not litter. Keep it clean and have fun.

A world-class sports facility in the heart of Jamshedpur! Home ground for JAMSHEDPUR FC. The stadium is well-maintained, clean, and equipped for multiple sports. The seating is comfortable, security is well-managed, and parking is organized. Whether for matches, training, or fitness activities, it’s an excellent venue that reflects Tata’s commitment to promoting sports. No doubt it is the best football stadium in INDIA. DURAND CUP & ISL matches are lit🔥

R D Tata gave fruition to the Founder’s vision, inculcating sports as an integral part of Tata Steel’s corporate philosophy. The Company’s commitment towards the promotion of sports is manifested through separate departments for football, archery, athletics and more. Over time, an impressive array of infrastructure, matching international standards to support sports has been built.
Vinay V — Google review
It's a great place to have a crazy football match. There are proper sitting arrangements, lighting is good, and the stadium is really really good. It is a good place for learning different sports as they also provide assistance and coaching. Locals love to come here as the prices are also moderately charged. The only thing is that, the seats must be cleaned before matches and the food inside must be a bit cheaper. But all in all it's a very good arena.
Prateek P — Google review
An excellent place for sports enthusiasts and lovers. Well maintained by Tata Steel and is the pride of Jamshedpur and Jharkhand. With world class sports infrastructure ranging from athletics to football, cricket, swimming, gym, indoor sports facilities, boxing, martial arts, archery, mountaineering and much more. It's kind of a cradle of sports in Jamshedpur and around. It has produced few of the world class sports personalities of fame and repute. Tata Steel is not just business it's A WAY OF LIFE....

JRD Tata sports complex sets an example of what a sports complex means for a vebe a big city. We witnessed a football match with an audience attendance of a whooping 24,000 in the stadium. The stadium has amazing lighting and digital score boards and a tv to show replays and closeups. The experience was great than I expected form a small city and security and management made it sure that the visitors came in and out without any hassle.

Tata Steel Zoological Park

Zoo
Outdoor Activities
Park
Tata Steel Zoological Park, established in 1994, is a riverfront park located within Jubilee Park. It serves as a natural habitat for various animals including deer, lions, tigers, hippos, rabbits, ducks, monkeys, birds and more. The park offers a 'Safari' option for visitors to enjoy animal sightings without extensive walking. Additionally, there are amenities for children such as swings and slides.
Tucked like a gem inside Jamshedpur’s Jubilee Park, the Tata Steel Zoological Park is what you get when a steel city decides to go soft on nature. It's not just a zoo — it’s where roaring tigers and chirping birds rub shoulders (okay, metaphorically) with the spirit of corporate social responsibility. And boy, do they make it work! The Jungle in the City Forget about overcrowded cages and sulking animals. This zoo is more like an open-air luxury resort for wildlife, nestled amidst lush greenery and a picturesque lake. Managed by the Tata Steel Zoological Society (yes, the same folks who give us Corus and cricket sponsorships), the place is a brilliant example of how industry and environment can walk hand in paw. Fun and Furry Facts: - Established in 1994, this is one of the very few privately managed zoos in India — and honestly, it shows in the maintenance. Think manicured lawns, clean enclosures, and animals who look genuinely content (or at least not existentially bored). - The Nature Education Centre is perfect for the budding Attenboroughs — interactive, informative, and sprinkled with enough trivia to make you the cool nerd at parties. - Jayanti Sarovar, the lake inside the zoo, offers boating. Yup, you can row your boat gently past the ducks while monkeys judge your rowing skills from a distance. - The zoo houses over 100 species of animals and birds, from the majestic white tigers and leopards to the adorable otters and macaws. - The Safari Park lets you observe herbivores up close in their “natural” habitat — without needing to channel your inner Bear Grylls. Final Verdict: Tata Steel Zoo is like the lovechild of a wildlife documentary and a Sunday picnic. It’s peaceful, educational, and surprisingly charming. Whether you’re a family with sugar-hyped kids or a solo wanderer with a camera and a dream, this place won’t disappoint.

Very nice and huge zoo and a great experience for kids. Can spend all the day. Ideal time to see animals in 11 am to 4 pm, post which they go to their cage for food. It's better if you can walk and roam , they also have boogie cars inside , 400 rupees per car for 8 seats.
Rahool G — Google review
Tata Zoological Park is a small but very beautiful and well-maintained zoo in Jamshedpur. The place is clean, peaceful, and perfect for a short nature outing. The animals here look really healthy and well cared for — you can tell by just looking at them that the staff takes great care of their health and surroundings. 🐯🦓 We visited almost near closing time, so many animals had already gone back to their cages for feeding, but it was still a lovely experience. There’s also a good arrangement for visitors who prefer not to walk — 7-seater electric cars are available to take you around the zoo, which is a great facility for families and elderly people. 🚗🌿 Overall, it’s a cute and calm zoo, great for kids, families, and animal lovers. Definitely worth a visit if you’re in Jamshedpur! 💚
Tanisha B — Google review

The park was just average. in my honest opinion not well maintained the animals are not that healthy or energetic. Lots of people are eating outside food in the park and thrashes are thrown carelessly. getting vehicle tours is a long and time taking process but the drivers are good and very helpful. the fees are affordable.

The staff were friendly, every covid protocol is followed.

Although the place has created a name for itself, I would say it still lags behind the best of the lot. At Sakchi, the ambience is ok ok, not the best of the lighting for selfies, less space. But one must try their grilled sandwich and Swiss roll pastry. I also tried some drinks but they were average.

Bhola Maharaj is a renowned establishment in Jamshedpur, initially known for its sweets and snacks before expanding into a restaurant offering pure vegetarian cuisine. It's an ideal spot for a casual breakfast or brunch, especially for those seeking wholesome vegetarian food. While the ambience may not be high-end, the focus here is on the delicious food rather than aesthetics. The restaurant has maintained its family-friendly atmosphere and continues to offer good quality dishes.
I just love this place. My most fav place to visit for sweets. Items that I love and you must try here are. Rasmalai, besan laddoo, gud rasgulla and kesar chamcham. If you ever get chance to taste any of these please visit Bhola mahraj. Also you can try the kesar milk that is cool too.

These were the places we grew up with. A landmark restaurant in Jamshedpur and counted amongst some of the famous ones like Narayani Kulfi, Franks (for Chinese), Madrasi Hotel and Bombay Sweets (shut down a long time ago). What used to be a small shop is now a double storied building and the lane is also named after it. The motichur ladoo was their signature item and is still good. I love their kachori with aloo sabzi too. Other sweets are fresh and good to taste. I enjoy being here whenever I am in Jamshedpur.

Bhola Maharaj is a well-known name in Jamshedpur when it comes to traditional Indian sweets and snacks. The quality and taste have remained consistent over the years, making it a trusted spot for festive purchases or everyday treats. Their sweets, especially the peda and rasgulla, are always fresh and rich in flavor. The namkeen items are equally good — crispy, well-spiced, and perfect for tea-time. The staff is usually prompt and polite, and the shop maintains good hygiene standards. Whether you're buying in bulk for a celebration or just treating yourself, Bhola Maharaj offers great taste with traditional authenticity.

The prices has increased drastically in Bhola Maharaj 💵 Tastes 👨🏼‍🍳 remains good as usual Inside infrastructure has not changed too much in the past 5 years However it is family friendly 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Right in the middle of Sakchi market. Parking space is very narrow and sometimes during rush you cannot find a place to park easily. 🚙

Good decor, good food and good live band music apart from the bar which stocks a decent range. It's definitely worth a visit. However the place gets really crowded on the weekends starting Friday evenings. If you go on a weekend, you must be prepared for some delay in service and a very high noise level from all customers talking at the same time and trying to make themselves heard above the playing band. If you prefer peace and quiet, you are better off on a weekday afternoon.

The music was very good but starts at 8pm which is a little late for students. The music and look of the place is very good but the food is very bland, even the spicy food is not spicy. The options for drinks is very limited and the staff keeps advicing unnecessarily

A good place to go for both friends group and family group. Can accommodate bigger group of 20-25 people as well. Courteous staff. Prompt service. Prices are moderately charged. Quantities are sumptuous. Tastewise nice with desi touch to it. Manchow soup, paneer chilly and chicken tai pai are must haves. Must visit place for good tasteful outing.

This place has lost its charm and the taste of the food has deteriorated. Service staff have no idea about the items being ordered. And are just imposing that what they serve is correct. Have been going to this place since around 2007 for its Chinese Food charm. But now the price and the food and service are simple not justified for the Chinese. Very disheartening.

It is a great place for South Indian food. The taste is awesome and prices are very reasonable. The place is hygienic, staff are well-behaved, and the ambiance is nice for friends and family. The ambience of this place is good and they have a wide selection of items. The food I would say is fine but the service is exceptional. I found that the quantity of the food for the price was not fair. The quantity is too low when compared to some other similar places. I have no complaints about the taste, ambiance and the service though. The place has enough parking spots, it is wheelchair accessible and is children friendly.

A Global Culinary Experience in Jamshedpur Visited Equinox on a weekday, drawn by its promise of fine dining featuring dishes from Malaysia, Japan, Thailand, and Indonesia. Here’s what we indulged in: 🍄 Mushroom & Vegetable Crispies – delightfully crunchy. 🍤 Prawn Tempura with Chili Oil – a perfect blend of crispiness and spice. 🌶️ Chilly Chicken – flavorful and well-cooked. 🍜 Tori Paiten Ramen – comforting chicken ramen with rich flavors. The dishes were fresh and beautifully prepared. The ambiance is spacious, well-lit, and perfect for a relaxed dining experience. While the service was a bit slow, it was thoughtful and attentive. Note: This place is on the pricier side, so be ready for a premium dining bill. Overall, a great spot to explore diverse Asian flavors in Jamshedpur! ⭐ Rating: 4/5 Would recommend for special occasions or when you’re craving something unique.

Nestled in the tranquil surroundings of Jadugora, Rankini Mandir is a captivating temple that showcases traditional architecture with its striking domed facade and vibrant stonework. This ancient site holds great significance for locals, as it not only honors Goddess Rankini but also features a prominent Ram temple and representations of various deities including Lord Hanuman, Radha-Krishna, and Maa Kali.
One of the oldest and most famous temples situated in Kadma, Jamshedpur. It is a holy place and has a cool and quite environment. There is a very beautiful place inside the temple campus which has a very silent and meditative atmosphere. Everyday a lot of people visit here to worship the gods. A must visit temple in Jamshedpur. Sourav B — Google review
Rankini Mandir, located about 35 km from Tatanagar Railway Station, is a revered temple dedicated to Goddess Rankini, believed to be an incarnation of Goddess Kali. The temple holds immense historical and cultural significance, especially among the Bhumij tribes, who originally worshipped the deity as a stone idol. Over time, the worship evolved into that of Goddess Durga, likely due to the influence of the Dhalbhum kings. The current structure of the temple is around 70 years old, built in the 1950s. It is managed by a trust formed in 1954. Alongside the main temple, there are shrines dedicated to Lord Ganesha and Lord Shiva, adding to the spiritual ambiance of the place. A Hari Mandir, dedicated to Radha-Gobind, has also been constructed nearby. Rankini Mandir continues to be a place of deep faith, attracting both tribal and non-tribal devotees. The temple’s location on the Hata-Jadugora state highway, near Rohinibera village, makes it accessible for visitors. For those interested in history, spirituality, and local legends, Rankini Mandir is a must-visit destination that offers a glimpse into the region’s rich traditions and deep-rooted beliefs.

Horrible experience. Literally had an upset tummy the day after! I am not usually into posting any negative review but this wasn't even close to edible! They have an item named "death by chocolate" in the menu but this chocolate sundae should be named the actual *death by chocolate* coz it's actually capable of that. It would make even the Sunday feel like a Monday! Too pricey for NOTHING. We even had a pizza to forget that stale taste but even that was very very basic! Very okayish ambience. Late service even after reminding. HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED!

In December last year, we had a get together here in Sonnet, with our friends and relatives, on the occasion of our 25th anniversary. I must say that the Sonnet team made that event truly memorable for all of us. So, when we invited our friend's family for a lunch on the last Sunday, my wife did not hesitate to suggest the buffet lunch of Sonnet, and together we had a great time there. Total 5 of us, enjoyed every item, beginning with crispy starters to the finishing touch with pine-apple pastry. The mutton biriyani was simply excellent. Ambience was fantastic, people were courteous, nice sitting arrangement - ideal for spending some time with family and close friends. 100% recommended.

Chinese restaurant
Sky 180 is a top-notch rooftop restaurant located in Jamshedpur, offering a breathtaking 360-degree view of the entire city. Situated on the top floor of the P&M Hi-Tech City Centre Mall, this chic and modern establishment boasts full-length windows that flood the space with natural light while providing an unparalleled dining experience. The menu features a diverse selection of both Continental and Indian dishes, along with an array of cocktails and mocktails to complement your meal.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting a rooftop restaurant ( SKY 180 JAMSHEDPUR ), and it was an experience worth sharing. From the moment I stepped in, the ambiance was captivating—open skies, gentle breeze, and city lights glowing in the distance. It created the perfect backdrop for a relaxing evening. The decor was modern yet cozy, with comfortable seating and mood lighting that set a laid-back but classy vibe. The music was well-chosen—not too loud—allowing for good conversation. I tried a mix of appetizers and mains, and the food did not disappoint. The starters, especially the [e.g., chili paneer or chicken tikka], were flavorful and arrived hot and well-presented. For the main course, I ordered [dish name], which was cooked just right and portioned generously. The mocktails/cocktails were refreshing and beautifully garnished—perfect for rooftop sipping. Service was attentive without being intrusive. The staff was friendly and well-informed about the menu, and everything arrived on time. Bonus points for the staff checking in occasionally to make sure we were comfortable. This rooftop spot is perfect for date nights, group dinners, or even solo dining if you’re in the mood to unwind with a view. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone looking to combine good food, fresh air, and a touch of city skyline magic.

Little expensive but quantity & quality of food is good. It’s good place to spend some time with your friends or partner. Staff behaviour is very polite.

We hosted a private party here. Very cooperative staff. The decoration was done well. The food and drinks were extremely good. Their service was great and the staff assigned to us ensured we had a great time! We also used their dance floor and their dj played great songs. We had a great time here!

Good ambience with soft music. They have a roof top with a drinks counter and indoor + outdoor seating arrangement. As expected drinks will be super costly and so is the food. But a good place to spend some time with your friends or partner. Staff behaviour is very polite. Entrance to this place can be made from ground floor.

The Sky 180° offers exceptional service with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff is attentive and friendly, ensuring a fantastic dining experience. The food is delicious, and the ambiance is inviting. A must-visit for great service!

The place is a really awesome to spend time with someone. The ambience and the rooftop scenery is it's main selling point. The food is good really good with good choice to pick from. Their Sunset Glory is a must try. Nice spicy guava flavour with a hint of masala. Makes for a good apetiff. Would really recommend the place to everyone and would suggest getting reservation before visiting

Wonderful open sky restaurant in the only mall of jamshedpur. Location and vibes wise this place is great! Its a little pricy comparatively to other places. The indo Chinese platter was good but the noodles were a disappointment as it tasted like the oil was reused which caused a pungent odur of the eggs. However the Indian cuisine was good and the dessert was also nice. Like the gajar badam halwa. Good place to hangout!

A very good place to visit..they have both open area as well as ac one...the price is on the higher side..food is delicious..the service is also top notch...do try the platters and continental food...the Indian food is also good..the breads were not upto the mark...otherwise all good.they serve alcohol and have happy hour drinks as well..sitting is quite good..smoking area is also there..do try the kababs and the prawns..the cocktail drinks are ok..bit overall a good experience

South Indian restaurant
Dasaprakash is a delightful vegetarian restaurant that specializes in authentic South Indian cuisine, recently relocating to O Road, South Park. Known for its serene ambiance and welcoming staff, it offers an array of delicious dishes served with a smile. Diners rave about the Dasaprakash special thali, which features multiple options reminiscent of home-cooked Tamil Nadu flavors. While the food quality is top-notch and reasonably priced, some guests have noted that service can be slow during busy times.

The peaceful place. No crowd. Food served with smile. Manager came and talkes about the history which was overwhelming. Good food good behaviour of staff.

On 2nd October(Wednesday) went here to eat South Indian Thali. No doubt food is totally awesome and worth it according to its price. It justified the price but Service is not good here because all staff are too much slow in terms of serving food. You have to wait longer than expected. So the main cons are slow service and you have to wait longer for food or if you want to take another item that you can renew it. which is absolutely unbearable. But You must try because of food it is totally awesome 😎.

Had gone on 20th August at 8pm, after checking the operational status. Google mentioned that the restaurant is Open, however upon reaching it was found to be closed, with no mention/ reasons for its closure.

The service here is extremely slow, and the staff are careless in their work. The food is also disappointing; the attempt to mix South Indian and Continental dishes has resulted in a bad combination that doesn’t taste good at all. Not worth the time or money.

Day 3

Keep it simple
For day 3, these 5 places should be enough to fill your day with something exciting to do in Jamshedpur. Start the day with Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary and make your way through the city to get to Dobo Dam / Satnala Dam Jamshedpur. This should take about 8 hours of your day.

Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary is a stunning natural retreat nestled in the hills, renowned for its thriving elephant population and lush greenery. This sanctuary offers an array of forested hiking trails that invite adventure seekers to explore its serene landscapes. The winding roads leading up to the sanctuary provide breathtaking views, making it a perfect spot for sightseeing under the warm winter sun. As you wander through this tranquil haven, you'll encounter diverse wildlife, including various bird species and playful insects.
I would still rate it 5 stars because of the pristine beauty and the clean surroundings. The lush forest ensures the survival of animals and the pathway is amazing for hikes in the morning. Just one tip-i know there's a shop just at the ticket counter but a lot of people come in the morning from far away. So it would be awesome if water and some food items like biscuit or egg and bread is sold for the visitors
Ayaz N — Google review
The forest offers a perfect blend of adventure and serenity. The drive through the winding hill roads is scenic and thrilling, especially with occasional wildlife sightings. The lush greenery, fresh air, and panoramic views from the hilltop are a treat for anyone seeking a break from city life. One of the highlights is the Sunrise Point, where early morning visitors can witness a breathtaking sunrise above the misty forest. There are also watchtowers and trekking trails for those who love to explore on foot.

Such a disappointed visit !!! Since the animals were aggressive the safari’s are closed for the time being. The museum was also closed. They allowed to take our car inside and the fees for car was 600/- and then per person 10/-. The only thing we are supposed to do was go till the top of the mountain to see the temple and the view from there, which we didn’t proceed after travelling few kilometres inside. Types of Deers kind of became sight of sore eyes 👀. Parking space available and small food and drinks shop is also there. I could see samosa and some other fried items were also there. Lavatories are available too.

We spontaneously planned a weekend road trip from Kolkata to Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary. We left Kolkata on a Saturday morning at 6:30 AM and arrived around 2:00 PM, including a few stops along the way. Our breaks included Kolaghat and the Jharkhand border, where we had lunch at Delhi Darbar Dhaba. 1) Accommodation Since it was a last-minute plan, we booked a mud house online a week in advance for ₹600. Upon arrival, we paid an additional ₹900 for the room and a ₹600 car access fee for the sanctuary, which was valid until the next day. 2)Food We had a delicious dinner at the JH Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary Research Development Center campus, where the bamboo houses are located. The meal was truly tasty, consisting of chicken curry, vegetable curry, and aloo choka. 3) Exploring Dalma On our first day, we explored the local areas and Chandil Dam, where we enjoyed boating. The next morning, we drove to the hilltop. You can take your car all the way to the top, where you'll find a watchtower and temples dedicated to Hanuman Ji and Shiva Ji. The views made it feel like we were in a North Bengal hill station! After returning to the mud house, we checked out and headed to Dimna Lake. This was our enjoyable 2-day, 1-night trip. Dalma Wildlife Sanctuary is a great option for a weekend road trip!

Property surrounded by dalma hills and lush green. Along with room rent, tourists has to pay 600for car entry and 10 each for family members. Then 150 maintenance charges. We have to order food in advance to get it on time.

Dalma Hills are situated at a distance of approx 13 km from Jamshedpur and is one of the most frequented tourist destinations in the land. It is situated at an altitude of 3000 ft. The views from the hills are breathtaking. The dense forests, wildlife sanctuary and Lord Shiva temple attract tourists in great numbers. Trekking and rock climbing are two activities that adventure enthusiasts can engage in. Winter is the ideal season to visit. Close to Jamshedpur, the Dalma Sanctuary is the best elephant habitat in Jharkhand. The pachyderms love to spend their summer here. Unlike Palamau that usually reels under a scorching sun, it continues to be pleasant at Dalma with temperatures mostly under 300C. Elephants migrate to this sanctuary because of the availability of water during summer. The next best choice for getting the closest possible. January To December 9:00am To 5:00pm.
Ami R — Google review
If you like thrilling then visit during monsoon but that time safari remain close you can visit only Dalma hill top, Oct is the best time if you like safari and want to see wild elephant.
Narendra D — Google review
Peaceful in greenery around. It's a different experience which one should experience specially the jungle safari. Better to take guide and do the safari in their designated safari jeeps. As they know the spots where you can get to watch the elephants and other animals and birds. Going by your own vehicle for the safari will be costing @ 600/ per vehicle and then tickets for individuals. The best is the Hill top here where you can enjoy the Sunset.

Dimna Lake, situated in the foothills of Dalma Hills in Jamshedpur, is a man-made reservoir that has become a popular destination for picnics and boating. Surrounded by serene greenery and other water bodies, it offers a tranquil escape from the city. Visitors can enjoy activities like boating, picnicking, and swimming while taking in the natural beauty of the area.
One of the beautiful places in Jamshedpur to visit. The water is very clean. Speed boat facility is also there with Rs 1050 per boat of 6 passengers. Some small temporary shops are there where you'll get juice, cold drinks, tea, and packaged snacks. The water gates of the dam look beautiful.

I believe we came to visit in wrong season because water level was very low and can see the ground in some places. Assuming this winter and post monsoon season might be the best time to come here. However, the place is a beauty nonetheless. The seasonal shortcomings failed to fade the charm of this lake. Even though created artificially as part of some industrial requirements however, nature took it upon itself to beautify it.

This place is absolutely stunning, nestled in the heart of nature. We stumbled upon this hidden gem by chance, and we couldn't be more grateful. It's wonderfully peaceful here, with just a few folks enjoying the shoreline and taking a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear water. The view is simply breathtaking, especially as the sun paints the sky with its mesmerizing colors during sunset. As if that weren't enough, we're treated to the sight of people honing their rowing skills out on the lake. It's an exhilarating experience!

This iconic venue has hosted numerous international cricket matches, creating an electric atmosphere that resonates with the spirit of the game. Even when there are no matches scheduled, visitors can often take guided tours to explore its rich history, walk on the outfield, and sit in the stands where legends have played.
Keenan Stadium in Jamshedpur is a historic multi-purpose stadium, though its golden days as a host of international cricket matches are largely in the past. It's a key venue for local and domestic sports, particularly cricket and football. What's Good About Keenan Stadium? Historical Significance: The stadium has a rich history, having hosted several international One Day International (ODI) matches. It's a place where cricketing legends have played, including MS Dhoni who started his career here. Location and Accessibility: Situated in the Northern Town area of Bistupur, the stadium is in a good, accessible location. Parking is also generally considered to be adequate. Outfield and Pitch: The ground has a reputation for having a good outfield and a firm, high-quality pitch that's often described as a batting paradise. Multi-purpose Venue: Beyond sports, the stadium is used for various events, including cultural programs and even dog shows. It's a versatile space that serves the community in different ways.

Keenan has good outfield, but it is much smaller than actual cricket stadium that we see in present days. Several international matches have been played here. Team India have never won the matches in this ground. There's lot of infrastructure have been built to maintain its rich necessity. Tata Steel have announced to rebuilt it's status and hope in the coming days it would be ready for International matches.
Chandan T — Google review
It is very famous name in Jamshedpur but unfortunately the international matches are no more playing from decade.Only domestic matches are conducting here . I don't know what's the reason but I think Tata Steel should renovate this..If the cricket is started again then I think it will be the biggest gift for the people of Jamshedpur. It's looking very difficult for international matches but hoping for IPL in future.

Cafe Regal, a renowned restaurant in Jamshedpur, has a rich history dating back to the early 1900s. This establishment is one of the oldest cafes in town and is known for its authentic Parsi delicacies such as chicken cutlet, akuri, and sandwiches. The cafe's ambiance exudes an old-world charm with its rustic look and historic structure dating back to 1912.
The cafe is a delightful blend of nostalgia and modernity. Housed on the second floor of a heritage building this cafe exudes an old world charm with its retro decor and cozy ambiance. The atmosphere here is peaceful and conducive for working, reading or brainstorming. Great food and a decent variety of teas, coffees and desserts available. Certain items can be on the pricier side but it’s totally worth it.

The place have very vintage feeling and that's the only good thing about here rest is just not up to the mark. I ordered garlic sandwich and it took them almost 25 min to get my order even when the cafe was 90% empty. And when they served the order after 25 min of waiting the taste was just average nothing special and not at all worth the money, maybe because my expectations was very high after seeing the reviews but the worst part was still to come as after eating 2 slice i noticed that there was small hair on one of the slice so i just lost my appetite and left by paying full price. Although they offer me to change the order but i did not have time to wait for another 20-25 min again. So i am never going to visit here ever again. But you all can try this place if you want to have some Parsi food and to get some 70's ambience feel.

Food was good, I had parsee style scrambled eggs and it was the creamiest, smoothest scrambled eggs I ever had. Also had brownie, which was pretty dang good. Picturesque cafe! Must visit.

Ambience emits a retro feel. Cool and cozy. We had pre ordered a Parsi lunch. So cannot comment much on the food choices and tastes. The location is good, but climbing the stairs for elderly people can be a concern.

Visited here on Saturday noon so my views will be based on that. 🌟Peaceful ✅ 🌟Ambience ✅ 🌟Good place for brainstorming or work from cafe ✅ 🌟Every Sunday there is an OpenMic event, although haven’t been a part of it. 🌟Slightly overpriced 🌟Quality ✅ 🌟Quantity 🔻 🌟 Friendly service 🌟 Payment is acceptable in all modes 🌟 Not a recommended option if you are not comfortable with stairs

North Indian restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Jamshedpur, Up N Above | Bar & Kitchen is a rooftop gem that elevates your dining experience both literally and figuratively. Located at Bindal Mall in Sonari, this stylish restaurant offers breathtaking 360-degree views of the city, making it an ideal destination for couples looking to impress or families seeking a memorable outing. The ambiance exudes sophistication and class, perfect for trendy crowds who appreciate not just exquisite food but also a stunning setting.
Did an anniversary party here and was very happy with the experience. Super party in great and budget friendly manner. The rooftop ambiance is very nice. Soup, starters, and the main course were also delicious 😋. Spoke to them before, and they were prepared, which complimented service time also. And yes, the key factor is that it's budget friendly.

Its located in Bindal mall. It's one of the few restaurants there. The food took quite some time to arrive with not many people there. We tried there special chicken amongst other dishes. The food tastes good and the portion sizes were also good enough for. 2 persons. The restaurant is well maintained and looked clean and hygienic. It's a good addition to the location as there aren't many options on marine drive.

The restaurant is situated at roof top in Marine Drive Road. The restaurant has both open air as well as indoor sitting arrangement. Food was great and service was also nice with cooperative staff. The ambience was nice and place is well maintained. Awesome establishment with excellent available drinks virjin mojito. We enjoyed Happy Hour, order 2 Mojitos get 1 free. Highly recommended this restaurant!!

It's a really amazing place. The top-notch ambiance and it's always the best of the class. Appetizers and drinks are absolutely stunning, In terms of taste, quality and quantity, it will never disappoint. The music played was also very soothing. We enjoyed our friend's birthday with great joy.

So rooftop experience is good.. The lights and decorations are literally gives you cozy and comforts .. But it's not permanent only for functions Or some session.. Food quality is good but services is poor and don't try biryani it's not good even and washroom area is not maintain although basin is not clean...overall in winter you like this rooftop. But about summer time. I don't think so it's work..

The food was good, but the waiting time for a seat was way too long. We reached the restaurant at 9:00 PM and got a seat only at 10:30 PM. Even after that, the staff took 15 minutes just to clean the table, which was very irritating and disappointing. The service is very slow. We could have sat on the rooftop, but it was extremely hot there, and there wasn’t even a single fan or cooler. Please fix these issues

A good Decent Restaurant for Dining experience with Family & Freinds and enjoy other Alcoholic beverages with new restoration ambience. They have an open Lounge area with amazing view and food experiences both at the same time.

No doubt place is nice and ambience is good and food is little costly but fine. But what baffled me up was charging 100rs for 25rs Soft drinks cold drink can. I reasoned with them that if they would have poured and gave it in a glass then it would have been their product and they can charge anything they want but serving something with mrp printed on it and then charging 300% on it is unreasonable. They told they know its wrong but that is done by all restaurants so it can't be helped. But as far as I know, it's not the case. This one thing ruined my experience. Not that I can't pay and I did pay but I found it unreasonable.
