We began early in the morning for the Mangala Aarti (around 4:30 AM), and the atmosphere then was deeply calming — cool air, soft light, and a sense of being away from the rush of everyday life. The sound of the bells and the chanting, the gentle lighting, all of it felt like a pure spiritual start to the day. Later, we attended other aartis like the Raj Bhog and the evening Sandhya Aarti. The evening aarti especially is magical — lights, kirtans, lamps, and people singing together; it brings a very uplifting energy. Inside the temple there are beautiful idols of Krishna-Balaram, Radha-Shyamsundar, and Gaura-Nitai, elegant architecture, lovely decorations, and a warmth in how devotees and staff alike express their devotion. We also enjoyed the Govinda’s restaurant inside the complex — pure vegetarian food, simple, wholesome and very satisfying. Overall it felt like more than just sightseeing — it felt like a connection, a time to breathe, reflect, and soak in devotion. If you want a spiritual space that’s peaceful yet vibrant, ISKCON Vrindavan is a must-visit.

Beautiful and Serene! Those are the words I would describe this temple with. There’s nothing more I can say that you don’t already know, so I’ll share some tips that might help. 1. Best time to visit – Night, as you’ll experience a beautiful light show. Though the temple and its surroundings are so enchanting that you’ll have a good time here regardless of when you visit. 2. Preparation – As large electronics (such as cameras, laptops, and such) and footwear (inside the main temple premises) are banned, it’s better to find a way to stash them securely beforehand. You’ll find several people who can help with storing your stuff outside the temple, but it can get expensive real fast (as much as ₹100–₹500 depending on your items) and might not feel entirely safe either. The only things you are allowed to have inside are your purse, mobile phone, and things of similar nature. 3. Take your time in there. No need to rush.Spend some quality time and soak in the peace. 4. Crowd & Traffic – It gets really crowded both inside the temple and outside, especially at night. You can literally get stuck in traffic just a kilometre away from the temple for 30–40 minutes if you’re in a vehicle. I’d recommend walking that last 1 km or taking an e-rickshaw if you’re unable to walk. But do mind your surroundings while walking, as both people and vehicles share the same road, and there are inadequate measures to manage the crowd and traffic. That being said, I hope you have a good time here!

This is one of the oldest & famous temple of Vrindavan. This is a huge multilevel structure consist of different god ideals in different floors. It's like you had to step up upto 7 floors to reach the top of the temple. This temple need to be maintained & preserved well as it is a architecture heritage. There is an motorised show in the ground floor, 10 rupees per person entry fee. At top of temple you can enjoy the mesmerising panoramic view of the city. Public washroom & drinking water available inside the temple for public convince. But washroom were not properly maintained this needs to be fixed.

Stopped by Shree Pagal Baba Temple during my Vrindavan visit, mostly out of curiosity after hearing the name from a local shopkeeper. It turned out to be one of the more peaceful places I visited that day. The temple structure itself is quite different from the others in Vrindavan — tall, white, and layered like a tower. I climbed up a few floors (yes, there are multiple levels inside!) and each one had its own set of idols and small decorated areas. The higher I went, the quieter it got, and from the top, there's actually a pretty nice view of the surrounding area. One thing that stood out was how clean and well-maintained the whole place was. Despite being open to all visitors, the atmosphere felt very calm — no unnecessary noise, and not too commercial. There was a small group singing bhajans softly in one of the halls, which gave the place a peaceful background vibe. Also, the name might make you smile at first — “Pagal Baba” — but once you're there, the devotion and energy feel quite sincere and grounding. If you’re exploring beyond the usual popular temples in Vrindavan, this one is worth a stop. Especially if you want some quiet time to just sit and reflect without any rush.

One of the most peaceful places in Vrindavan. It’s on the way from Vrindavan Iskon temple to Mathura Krishna janma bhumi. You can feel the divine spiritual aura inside the temple. The architecture of the temple is beautifully designed. It is clean and well maintained (except the washrooms, washrooms need proper maintenance). There are multiple floors. First floor has Ganesh temple and main temple is of Radha Krishna. Above it is Krishna Balram temple, Sita Ram Temple, Vaman avtar temple, Laxmi Narayan temple followed by Pagal baba temple at the top floor. There is also light shiw with 10₹ entry fees and ground floor. The temple is closed in afternoon, it reopens at 3 PM and closes for the day at 8 PM.

I also visited Prem Mandir, dubbed the “Temple of Love.” In the evening, it glowed with thousands of lights and a mesmerizing fountain show; the intricate marble carvings displayed scenes from Krishna’s life and left me deeply moved . A stop at Nidhivan awakened a sense of mysticism—it felt like stepping into a magical forest laden with folklore . For a taste of local flavor, the famous Mathura pedas, hearty kachori-sabzi, and creamy lassi were divine and refreshing after long days of temple-hopping . “The best lassi I've ever tasted was from Mathura and Vrindavan” and praised the region’s “magical” milk quality . The highlights of my two-day itinerary included sunrise and evening aarti ceremonies, soulful boat rides on the Yamuna, and immersive cultural interactions with local artisans. It's as if they're making a mockery of the faith and devotion that people bring to this place. Their aggressive approach to seeking money is not only distasteful but also detracts from the spiritual essence of Nidhivan. It's heartbreaking to see the priests prioritize financial gain over the spiritual well-being of the devotees. The place, which is otherwise steeped in the history and love of Lord Krishna, feels like a commercialized hub focused on accumulating wealth. I want to emphasize that Nidhivan itself is a beautiful and sacred place, filled with the love and energy of Lord Krishna. However, the priests' behavior has unfortunately overshadowed its spiritual significance. If you're planning to visit, be prepared for the persistent requests for money, and try to focus on the spiritual connection you can make with the place. Super slow service and bad food. We tried Dosa, Shahi Paneer, Dal Takda and Paneer Butter Masala. In breads - Butter Naan + Butter Roti… - Dosa was Uncooked - Shahi Paneer was served in Malai Kofta curry with raw paneer pieces - Paneer Butter Masala had no masala and was sweet in taste - Dal tadka had high salt content - veg raita also had high salt content No happy at all. Not sure why this place is so hyped (must be because it is interconnected with ISKCON Temple)

We recently visited Govinda’s Restaurant inside the ISKCON temple premises in Vrindavan, and honestly had mixed feelings about the experience. We ordered: • Masala Dosa • Paneer Dosa • Tomato Uttapam • Idli • Mango Milkshake • Watermelon Juice • Herbal Coffee • Masala Tea The total bill came to ₹1690, which felt excessively steep, especially for a restaurant located within a spiritual temple campus that attracts pilgrims and families from all walks of life. ➡️ Portion sizes were underwhelming – the dosas and uttapam felt small, and drinks were served in rather modest quantities. For this price, you’d expect either a generous portion or a fine-dining experience, but sadly, neither matched. That said, the quality of food was quite good – fresh ingredients, well-prepared, and served cleanly. The herbal coffee and mango milkshake stood out for their taste and purity. So while the pricing and portions disappointed us, the flavor and hygiene maintained a good standard. 📍 Would recommend only if you’re okay with premium pricing for sattvic food in a devotional setting.

I've been to this restaurant thrice, price is high, ofcourse. I had idli sambhar and veg biryani. Idli wasn't soft, Sambhar was sweet. Biryani was dry, it wasn't spicy even I told them to make it spicy. Last time I had poha, kadha, tea. Poha was too sweet, They garnished it with sugar. I don't know how things work in their kitchen. only Service is good.

The iskcon vrindavan service and attitude was very casual and rude. Unexpected, iskcon chowpathy was good. Management should consider and they should avail feedback options so that it could be highlighted and rectified

This place is not for us, clearly meant only for foreigners, not for Indians. The waiters treat Indian devotees like beggars and can’t even be bothered to attend to you. What kind of pathetic “hospitality” is this? ISKCON management couldn’t care less, it’s obvious the whole thing is run by foreigners, for foreigners!

Situated just outside Shri Bankey Bihari Temple gate no.3. We had their Aloo Tikki, Lassi and Papdi Chaat yesterday. Aloo Tikki was just phenomenal with tasty chole and tangy sauces. Lassi was also worth trying. Papdi Chaat was decent. You should try the varieties they are serving.

I absolutely loved the signature dish Paneer Chilla and Aloo tikki. It was prepared in desi ghee. The taste was delicious. They also have a dining area where you can sit comfortably and enjoy different delicacies. The staff was friendly and helpful. They are quick to serve courteously. Would love to visit again.

Oldest food stall near gate no. 3 of Shri Bankey Bihari temple vrindavan. Devotees first seek blessings of Shri bankey bihari and then enjoy delicacies of Mukesh Sharma. Tikki and kachori are excellent in taste. Jai Shri bankey bihari ji. Must eat stall in vrindavan👍

Amazing street food here. I had tikki, cheela and lassi. The cheela here is to die for and is a must try. One should definitely have there cheela. It was very nice with a unique taste. Do visit when around.

Authentic tasty aaloo tikki chaat. Lassi also gives you feelings on another level. You can try dhokla and dahi-bada as well. Pani-puri can also be enjoyed although there are a lot of better shops for pani-puri.

Mukesh Sharma Chat Wale’, this small shop located in the lanes of Shri Banke Bihari Temple, Vridnavan is a true gem. They have given their dishes very interesting names. My favourite from this shop was their Chila which they have named as ‘Special Mast-Mast Mastana Butter Chila’. The chila batter was sprinkled over with ginger and coriander. Masala was added and topped with butter and grated cheese. Sev was sprinkled over to give it a slight crispiness🤤. The chila was served along with pudina chutney and tamarind chutney. Tasted heavenly good😋. This was truly a mast chila that I have eaten so far❤️. Their Kanji Vada is also a must try.

Recently I have tried chinese platter and bhalle papdi chaat here, bhale papdi chaat was awesome but the chinese platter was so so. Also I found that the seating capacity of the place is not just enough for the crowd. Prices was average not too high. But the isse here was that they don't accept upi only cash you have to give here. Taste was also average. Also self sevice is here

I recently visited Chaat Chopaty in Vrindavan and tried a variety of items, including aloo tikki, papdi chaat, dosa, bhalla papdi, chai, and ice cream. The ambience is quite nice with good seating arrangements, and the restrooms are in acceptable condition. Service is self-service and reasonably efficient. While the pricing is fair considering the location and the large number of pilgrims and visitors to Banke Bihari Temple, the overall taste was average and the dosa, in particular, was below expectations. It’s fine for a quick bite if you’re in the area, but not a place I’d visit specifically for the food.

Visited Chaat Chopaty (Chaat–Snacks–Sweets–Bakery–Restaurant) recently. The food quality was not good One big drawback is that they only accept cash — no UPI or card payments, which is very inconvenient. Also, the staff taking orders unable to communicate properly, which made the experience frustrating.

You can have a good taste in reasonable price but derive and space is not proper. Initially there was space on first floor to have meal but now they sold it to another brand resulting thereby they are now short in space.

Decided to have dinner at this restaurant because of the good reviews that this one had on google. Unfortunately the food didn’t match my expectations. I ordered the thali which was okayish. There were just 2-3 cubes of paneer in the sabji, which also wasn’t sufficient for rotis. Very disappointed.

We ordered Special Thali, food was served cold and taste like sugar. Service was very late and dissatisfactory. So won't recommend if no other option available for you!

I visited on 17th June 2023 and had lunch. Paneer 64 was spicy ( so tell next time to mild if you don't like spicy I usually don't like spicy) and tandoori roti were very crispy. Boondi raita was not of good curd...curd was sour. Service is good and environment is very good.

Really clean, food is great, service is great as well, Akash is really helpful and friendly. Totally recommend this place for everyone
