Candolim Beach

4.5
(42751)
Candolim Beach is a popular destination in Goa known for its sandy shore, stunning sunset views, and exciting activities. Visitors can enjoy parasailing and indulge in delicious seafood and North Indian or Chinese dishes at Ryans Shack, which offers both indoor and outdoor seating. The beach is famous for its vibrant nightlife with beachside parties and dynamic clubs like SinQ Beach Club, Bar Eclipse, and Love Passion Karma (LPK).
Candolim Beach is one of the best beaches in Goa and I had a really good experience visiting here. The beach is clean, peaceful, and less crowded compared to some other popular beaches. The golden sand and calming waves make it a perfect place to relax and enjoy.
Pradip K — Google review
• Candolim Beach is truly beautiful & serene compared to the more crowded beaches of Goa. • With its golden-white sands & blue-green waters, it’s a perfect spot to relax, unwind & enjoy some fun beach activities. • The beach is clean, peaceful & offers a calm vibe away from the hustle & bustle.
Ketaki G — Google review
Very very very pretty beach. Loved it. Went at the sunrise time so it was not crowded. Great place to take beachy pictures. But I'll recommend to visit during sunset time to view the sunset. Overall it was a very good morning.
Christina A — Google review
Candolim beach sits right at the heart of North Goa. The beach itself is very clean and you can sit at the sunbeds under an umbrella and enjoy the sea with a drink in your hand. Several shacks are also available that come alive in the evening. It is quieter than Baga beach. So, if you are looking for a peaceful vibe but still want to enjoy the party atmosphere, Candolim beach is the right choice for you. Scooter parking takes 40 INR and there are plenty of shops and restaurants next to the beach where you can enjoy live music.
Tirthankar D — Google review
One of the most beautiful, golden sand and clean water beach of North Goa. Very peaceful, and less crowded . A favorite spot of people like me who want to spend good, fun time with family and friends. Relaxing vibes overall. Also you'll get tasty food with live music in beach shacks and restaurants around. The souvenir shops are also good for shopping. Awesome overall !! Will visit again.
Rahul K — Google review
It was great. Way better than chennai and it was a good family place where you can visit with your family. The watersports in the candolim are great except some scammers. The parking space is heavy and you can have either your car or bike parked in the paid parking safely.
RAHUL K — Google review
Candolim Beach is truly one of the finest beaches in Goa, offering a perfect mix of beauty and calm. The golden sands stretch far and wide, lined with plenty of lively shacks and seaside restaurants serving everything from Goan delicacies to refreshing drinks. We visited in the early morning, when the sun was soft and the sea breeze felt just right. It was a peaceful and relaxing experience — the kind of place where you can simply unwind, enjoy good food, and watch the waves roll in.
Deepshikha K — Google review
Loved Candolim Beach! Such a clean and peaceful beach compared to the more crowded ones like Baga or Calangute. The vibe here is super chill — perfect for a morning walk or just relaxing by the water. The shacks have great food and drinks, and the sunset views are absolutely beautiful. You’ll find water sports too, but it’s not chaotic or noisy. Really liked how calm and laid-back the whole place felt. Great spot for families or anyone who just wants to unwind. Definitely coming back next time I’m in Goa! 🌴☀️

Curlies beach shack

Night club
Curlies Beach Shack is a well-known spot on Anjuna beach that draws in a large number of visitors. It's celebrated for its vibrant atmosphere and offers ample space with a lounge bar, garden restaurant, club zone, and an open sea view platform. The venue hosts popular party nights on Mondays featuring techno music and Thursdays with trance music.
Curlies was a great place to hangout and watch the sunset before and it’s even better now that’s it’s been rebuilt. Seems like the management has changed and the staff are extremely attentive now. Ambience is even better than before with beautiful decks overlooking the beach. Service was great while we were there. The ambience is beautiful and the choice of music makes it even better compared to the competition. Please don’t go here expecting gourmet food. Food is decent but the location and the ambience is what makes this place.
Harsh S — Google review
After having heard about curlies and it's hype for over a decade.. My experience matches like the fall of a house of cards. Are people really eating and enjoying this level of food? Everything we ordered was shocking sad. Fish was smelly, butter garlic prawns were totally off recepie plus who serves whole shrimp with legs as butter garlic prawns. Crazy. Sadly the whole place also smells very mushy. Come here maybe just to tick the place off or a drink or two. Don't eat here.
Arjun R — Google review
The food is ok but this place still has the same vibe that it used to have years ago. If ypu are looking for some amazing non bollywood music, then this is the place. I think their in house Dj Sanjay was playing when we visited. He is too good
Ishita G — Google review
Very poor experience at curlies Shack. We waited for over 25 minutes and no one attended our table, even though other guests were being served quickly. The staff seemed to prioritize certain groups while completely ignoring others, which is unacceptable. Service needs to be fair and consistent for all customers, regardless of crowd or appearance. Definitely not recommended for those expecting respectful and attentive service.
Prudhvi R — Google review
If u wanna get truly Goa vibe go here... From food to dance.... No matter how many outsiders come to Goa and try be like goan they can't be one ..... Curlies is the place where u have to be in your bucket list. It gives u vibe how early 70's n 80's people is to hang out..... Enjoy
Desid F — Google review
Absurd. Unattentive and oversmart staff. Lassi was sad. Drinks were sad. Ordered tamoto basil pizza and got 0 basil. Mr Guru, our server apologized but didn't do anything to fix it and then tried to be oversmart. Then again accepted the mistake and yet again didn't do anything. Never turened even the Fan on and then said couldn't find the socket...too much fuss and too little to speak about of food and service. Ignore and move on to far better places like Brittos etc...
Rajeev — Google review
Hey everyone, the place was really great in terms of location as you can sit just in front of the shore. The food was okay, okay the service was really amazing. We went during heavy monsoon the wheat as well faster than Fire Brigade and unfolding the curtains. So the people can eat at peace. The route to this place is a little of beat. Good for one time experience. also, it is one of the great spot to have sundowners.
Shakti P — Google review
This place is really great in terms of location, you can sit just in front of the shore. Enjoy the view with drinks and food. The food was okay, the service was really good. Me and my friends went during monsoon but when we were there, there's no rain. Would love to go again

Baga Beach is a bustling and vibrant area in Goa, known for its lively nightlife and exciting holiday atmosphere. Located about 10 kilometers west of Mapusa, it offers a festive experience with water sports, eateries, bars, and nightspots. The Saturday Night Market at Baga Beach is a popular shopping destination with colorful displays and lights. The beach is lined with beach shacks and restaurants serving delicious Goan delicacies.
Nice well maintained beach connected with Calangute beach. Good for family to have fun in beach and play in water. Many beach front restaurant and rest chairs available for drink lovers.

Visited the beach at night and it was spectacular. They have multiple beachfront restaurants and clean and well maintained surroundings. They have placed beautiful night lights decorations to make beach look good for night life. Only downside was 500rs for parking at night which was ripoff.

Beautiful and white sand beach.. and surprisingly clean ❤️ good for families ❤️ crowded in evenings ❤️ lots of shacks ❤️ Difficult to see the complete sunset which is so beautiful and clearly visible in some other beaches of Goa.

Popular beach, very crowded all year long. With many beach shacks, some of which are the most well known in Goa. Visit for the party vibes. Stay away if you don't like crowds and wish to enjoy the surf.

Calangute Beach is a bustling and popular destination offering a wide range of water sports activities such as boating, water skiing, and parasailing. The area is also dotted with food stalls serving up delicious local cuisine. Visitors can enjoy a comfortable stay at the Radisson Baga Beach Resort, where they can indulge in delectable seafood pizza and chicken malai tikka. The resort's attentive staff ensure a pleasant experience, swiftly addressing any concerns to provide top-notch service.
Great beach on the North Goa coastline, just after the Baga beach & before Candolim beach. Calangute beach is a clean beach with amazing vast sea view.🤩 Sea is here active with continuous waves🌊 pounding on beach shore. Same goes with visitors, its always buzzing. Beach is guaranteed to give you the Goa feel & magic that one would have imagine. You will find people of all age groups enjoying sea splash, the view, playing with sand & their food & drink on Shacks 🏖️. Yes the beauty of the North Goa beaches is that the sea & your boozy / soft drink 🍾🥤& yums 🌯are at your reach right on the beach. Shacks are lined up against the sea to give both views of serenity & party. Coast guards are placed at intervals to ensure safety & avoid deep intrusion in the sea. Evening time is the best time to visit this beach & it has got everything for all for your peaceful & pleasant time. As it gets dark, coast guards start to vacate the visitors away from sea. Found this to be well managed, maintained, safe beach. Car parking area is available on the approach road on right side 🚗.

In September this beach is quite empty but that's the plus point as it becomes so peaceful and beautiful. Nice breeze and very much clean. Yuy can spend more time with you sitting at the shore. Very less people come to visit this beach ⛱️ as water sports activities are closed. So if you need some peace, you can definately come to visit.
Gurpreet T — Google review
Very nice beach in Goa. Safety seems to be their main focus which is very nice to see. Shopping outside beach is Plenty and you will get similar feels in every shop so no point in haggling Shack seems fine but also overpriced. Parking for bikes are adequate and easy to access
Bharanidaran R — Google review
One of the most popular beaches in Goa, known for its lively atmosphere, water sports, and vibrant shacks. It can get very crowded, but it’s a great spot to enjoy the sea, food, and nightlife.
Eldho P — Google review
One of the best and most happening beaches in Goa — definitely a highlight of North Goa. Calangute Beach offers a complete mix of fun, adventure, and local charm. All major water sports like jet ski rides, banana boating, parasailing, and speed boating are available here, and the rates are quite standardized and well controlled by local authorities. Trained lifeguards are always on duty, which adds to the feeling of safety. There are plenty of food and drink options — from beach shacks serving Goan seafood to juice stalls and cafés nearby. The beach also has areas marked for bathing, although the state-provided bathing section is not very clean and can be better maintained. Parking is available near the main entrance, and reaching the beach is easy from any part of North Goa. It gets crowded during weekends and evenings, but that’s part of its charm. Overall, a fun place to spend half a day — ideal for families, couples, and adventure lovers alike! 🌴🌊
Dr. P — Google review
Calangute Beach truly lives up to its name as the “Queen of Beaches” in Goa. The shoreline is wide, the waves are great for a quick dip, and the vibe is always lively. There are lots of shacks offering good food, refreshing drinks, and music that keeps the energy high throughout the day.
Vaibhav D — Google review

Mall De Goa, located in Porvorim, is the largest shopping mall in Goa and has become a popular destination for both locals and tourists. Here's a summary of reviews: 1. **Location**: Conveniently situated on the main road in Porvorim, it's easily accessible for those traveling between Panaji and the northern beaches of Goa. 2. **Shopping Options**: The mall houses a variety of national and international retail brands. Popular stores include Marks & Spencer, Reliance Trends, Lifestyle, and Max. Many visitors appreciate the wide selection of clothing, footwear, and accessories, but some feel that the overall variety could be improved, especially for niche or luxury items. 3. **Food Court & Restaurants**: The food court offers a good range of options, from fast food outlets like KFC, McDonald's, and Domino's to local Goan eateries. There are also a few specialty restaurants like Copperleaf, which is well-regarded. Reviewers often comment on the convenience and variety of dining choices. 4. **Entertainment**: The INOX multiplex cinema is a big draw for visitors. It’s a well-maintained theater with comfortable seating and good sound quality. Many visitors enjoy watching movies here as part of their mall experience. 5. **Ambiance**: The mall is clean, well-maintained, and air-conditioned, providing a comfortable shopping experience. The overall design is modern, but some visitors have mentioned that it can feel a bit small compared to malls in larger cities. 6. **Parking**: There's ample parking space available, but during peak hours or on weekends, it can get crowded. Some guests have pointed out that parking fees are a bit high. 7. **Crowd**: While the mall generally doesn't get overly crowded, weekends and holidays can see a significant influx of shoppers and moviegoers. 8. **Value for Money**: Shoppers generally find the mall to be affordable with frequent sales and offers, especially in the fashion and food outlets. Overall, Mall De Goa is considered a great one-stop destination for shopping, dining, and entertainment in Goa. Though it may not offer the vast variety found in bigger metropolitan malls, it’s well-regarded for its convenience and pleasant atmosphere.

Pisco - By the Beach is a newly opened waterfront restaurant in Anjuna that offers stunning views of the sea. The colorful interiors and charming bamboo installations create a vibrant atmosphere, perfect for capturing memorable moments during sunset. The menu features a variety of seafood starters, large plates, and vegetarian options like chilli bean quesadillas and Pisco Lunch House pasta in tomato basil sauce.
Goa is full of dreamy places. The concept is superficial great and an awe experience sitting by the bay and watching the water go up and down and to get this experience to pay upfront is the best part only the person who like sea will enjoy it. The staff here very polite and elegant. The food is top notch. Ambience beats the photos. Loved the experience

Let’s start with the good things, this place has good food and there’s no denying that. From its vegetarian options to the kebabs or the tacos the food is good. The space itself is nice too and offers a view of the ocean over an extended rock face which is nice for a lazy afternoon and I’d say it’s not so bad at night too. The only hang up I have with such a great view and food combined with nice service is the fact that the music drowns it all out. This is a place to talk, eat and potentially relax but it’s all ruined by the over bearing music which is why I gave the atmosphere a 3. I’ve been to metal concerts where I could hear the person across me better.
Melroy C — Google review
I love this place and i kid you not its not just because of the view but very much because of the service and staff which is very warm and hospitable. I have been here a few times and my last visit was even better though dropped by for just a few drinks it couldn’t have been any better so honestly i would definitely love to come back and i will definitely suggest this place to anyone and everyone that i know. Keep it up guys! Thank you!

The view by the sea is just breathtaking, making it an ideal place to unwind and soak in the coastal vibe. I really love the whole concept — it’s unique, refreshing, and sets the mood just right. Definitely a place worth visiting if you’re looking for a blend of great atmosphere and stunning seaside charm

Las Olas - Bollywood Beach Club

Night club
Las Olas - Bollywood Beach Club is a vibrant beachside cafe with a hip atmosphere and regular DJs. It offers a diverse range of international cuisines, including Seafood, European, Lebanese, Indian, Chinese, Mediterranean, Italian, Asian, and Continental. The venue features three sections: an outside beach area that closes at 1am without coverage charge and two indoor sections requiring a coverage charge. The club is known for its lively Bollywood music starting at 11pm until 6am.
Located right on Baga Beach, Las Olas is an excellent spot for partying, offering a lively ambience and well-designed lighting that sets the mood perfectly. The venue features both a covered outdoor seating area with a view of the beach and an indoor space, making it versatile for different preferences. We visited on a Saturday night, and as expected, the place was buzzing with energy. If you enjoy Bollywood music, this is the place to be—the DJ was fantastic and kept the crowd grooving all night. Be prepared for a super crowded atmosphere, especially after midnight when the indoor space transforms into a full-blown dance floor. Food & Drinks: We ordered a pizza, which was delicious, paired with red wine and Long Island Iced Tea (LIT). Both the food and drinks were satisfying, and despite the crowd, the bartenders were impressively quick, minimizing wait times. Ambience & Crowd: The ambience is one of the highlights of Las Olas. The outdoor area offers a relaxed vibe with beach views, while the indoor section becomes a high-energy dance hub. However, the venue tends to get overly crowded by midnight, making it challenging to find space to move, let alone dance comfortably. Service: The staff were polite and courteous despite the rush, and the bartenders managed to keep the service efficient—a big plus in such a packed venue. Areas for Improvement: While the energy and vibe are great, the washrooms are a major drawback. They’re insufficient for the crowd size, leading to long queues, and the cleanliness needs significant improvement. Additionally, it’s advisable to arrive early, around 10 PM, to secure a good spot and avoid the chaotic rush after 11 PM. Overall Verdict Las Olas is a fantastic place for Bollywood music lovers and anyone looking for a vibrant party spot on Baga Beach. However, the overcrowding and washroom situation could be better managed. If you can handle the crowd, it’s worth experiencing for the great music, food, and drinks.
Aakruti D — Google review
Worst Club Experience in Goa – Avoid Las Olas at All Costs! This was by far the worst clubbing experience I’ve had in Goa. They charged us ₹10,000 for a table, promising a premium experience, but delivered absolutely nothing close to it. There was no one attending the table, and placing an order took over 20 minutes, only for the drinks to arrive another 30 minutes later. The staff is arrogant and extremely unprofessional, with one person juggling multiple tables and clearly not interested in providing any kind of service. To top it off, they label all tables as “reserved” to create false hype, but once you’re inside, you’ll notice most of them are empty and just kept that way to trick people. We were given a corner table, clearly because we were stags, even though there were several better ones available right in front. It’s clear they discriminate based on group type, and once they’ve taken your money, they couldn’t care less about your experience. Las Olas is all about fake vibes, overpriced tables, and pathetic service. You’re better off partying literally anywhere else in Goa.

Las Olas is a must-visit Bollywood club in Goa.. truly one of the oldest and most legendary ones around! We make it a point to come here at least one night every time we’re in Goa. There are many places that play Bollywood music now, but Las Olas has really kept up with the times and upgraded well. The music system is great, the food and drinks are solid, and the prices are much more reasonable compared to the newer clubs. They’ve done a nice interior upgrade too, which gives it a fresh vibe while keeping that classic energy. Make sure to reserve your table in advance if you want proper seating. The club’s right on the beach, so post-party walks by the sea are just perfect. Parking can be a bit tricky, and there’s a short walk from the main lane to the club, but it’s totally worth it. Overall, still one of the best Bollywood party spots in Goa!
Bhavin G — Google review
After a string of disappointing nightlife experiences, Las Olas was a refreshing breath of sea air. Right on the beach, this place nails the perfect Goan vibe — great music, amazing cocktails, and a crowd that knows how to have fun without getting unruly. The seating is spacious and well laid out — no drama, no hidden charges, and definitely no random rules about who sits where. The staff is attentive, courteous, and actually knows what they’re doing (what a concept!). You get your value — not just in terms of food and drinks, but in overall experience. The live music and beach breeze just elevate the mood, and everything from lighting to sound to service feels thoughtfully done. If you’re looking to party in Goa but still want a place that gets the basics right — Las Olas is a solid pick. It’s what places like Titos used to be. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Highly recommend. Great vibe, better service, no drama.

The music was crazy. I like their inhouse touch to the music they are playing. Adding the bells sound. The day i visited it was their anniversary. Overall a good experience.

Bollywood Theme Night - awesome experience! Guy at the reception said 5k per couple, guy on phone said 4k per couple. This is not how people should behave.

I recently visited Las Olas with my wife on 30-10-2025 10:30PM, and I must say this was the worst experience we’ve had at any club. Upon entry, the security took our medicine for safety reasons, which was understandable. However, when we tried to retrieve it upon leaving, we were met with rude and unprofessional behavior from one of the security guards. The lady in charge not only spoke rudely but also started questioning my wife in an insulting manner, suggesting that we were trying to claim someone else’s belongings. Her tone was extremely disrespectful, and when we tried to ask for her name, she refused to provide it. When we escalated the matter to the manager, he also hesitated and eventually gave a fake name. This entire experience was humiliating and completely unnecessary. I have never faced such disrespect and bad treatment, especially not in a place that claims to provide a welcoming environment. It’s incredibly disappointing that the club's management and security staff are so unprofessional. I strongly urge the owner to review this incident, check the security footage, and take strict action against this staff member. This kind of harassment and disrespect should not be tolerated. I will be taking further action if necessary and will be recommending that no one visit this place unless improvements are made in customer service and staff conduct. **Recommendation**: If you value respectful and professional service, I would advise staying away from this club.

Located on the banks of Aguada Creek in the tranquil setting of Taj Fort Aguada Resort & Spa in Goa, Relish is a beautiful and rustic restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. The unique interior creates an atmosphere of luxury and serenity, while impeccable friendly service and sensational tastes and smells of Indian food make it one of the most irresistible dining areas in Goa. Casual dress code is enforced.
I really love this place. Been here several times before. The restaurant has a different, and by the way very kind owner now but the food and ambiance are just as good as it was before. My Indian friend loved the food too, so it’s got to be good! I love the al fresco dining and the nice lighting. Relish is a very popular restaurant , so making reservations is recommended. We’ll be back, that’s for sure!

Had the pleasure of dining at Relish 3 times during our stay in Calangute. After our lovely breakfast, we spoke with John and his team about preparing a crab for us the following evening and could not have been happier. The flavours of each dish were excellent, the cocktails and wine were delightful, and the service and atmosphere were second to none. Thank you again for being excellent hosts to John and the staff at Relish. A must try for anyone looking for an outstanding dining experience.

Perfect place for a relaxing and unwinding evening. We went here for dinner on a weekday and were met with lovely service. The ambience is dim and the tables are candle lit. For starters I got the aubergine salad which might have been one of the most delicious dishes I’ve had , it was topped with honey and yogurt and was very light. The prawn curry is very well made, not too spicy and paired with rice and roti, satisfied my hunger. The dish fry was good too!! Served with a generous salad and fries, the crust was a little tough. The pasta was a bit of a letdown, it lacked flavour and richness. The dessert was perfect, a pancake with coconut sugar , “alle belle”. Would go back again just for it!.

What a delightful restaurant! The food was delicious, and the atmosphere was romantic. The owner introducing himself was such a thoughtful and welcoming gesture, especially for first-time visitors. My only regret is not discovering this place sooner! Thank you for a lovely dining experience.

It is so refreshing to experience wonderful food , great service and a local vibe that most new restaurants don’t have anymore. The bartender is excellent with the cocktails . He knows his drinks ! The food was impeccable. I ordered the fish tandoori , and it was tender , juicy , full of flavour and came with a nice balance of vegetables ! The beef steak was cooked exactly how I like it . One of the nicest steaks I’ve had in a long time! Thank you relish , I will be back soon !

Loved the cafe and showroom. Showroom has good stock of all the available models from RE. Good presence of merchandise and accessories too. Cafe is rocking. Good food, warm staff and good service. There is a cooking space and play area on top. You can play foosball, billiards and darts. Or get engaged with some books. Location is lively next to Baga river. This should be in your visit list during your next trip to Goa.

Visited recently and had such a great experience! Everything was well-prepared and tasty, but the standout for me was definitely the mushrooms — packed with flavor and cooked perfectly. The portions were satisfying, and the overall vibe of the place added to the experience. Definitely worth a visit if you're in Goa!

Garage Café in Anjuna is a crowd favorite, especially among Royal Enfield lovers. It’s got a unique vibe and has become a go-to spot for me ever since I started visiting with my sister whenever she came to Goa. Over time, it turned into one of our favorites for their delicious pasta, great food, and refreshing drinks. The atmosphere is lively during bike events, but even when there aren’t any, the café has a relaxed, chilled-out vibe with a selective crowd. A perfect place to hang out and enjoy good food with great company.

Was craving for English breakfast in Goa and found the place. It's a popular choice for those seeking a restaurant experience not overwhelmed by teenagers, suggesting a more mature and relaxed crowd. It is beside the showroom and service center. Order the breakfast and americano. Was pretty good and good service. But which I liked most is their ambience.

Day 2

Northeast side of town
For day 2, we recommend exploring the northeast side side of town. Start the day off with Chapora Fort, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Anjuna Flea Market. All together, your day would be filled with about 7 hours of non-stop fun.

Fortress
Historical landmark
Chapora Fort, a centuries-old fortress perched on a headland, offers stunning sunset views over the sea. Visitors can unwind with ayurvedic massages and yoga classes in Goa, known for attracting people from around the world for yoga retreats. For those seeking adventure, water sports and cookery classes are available. The fort, also known as the town of Shah Chapora Fort, was constructed during Portuguese rule in the 17th century and features underground tunnels.
Chapora Fort – A Must-Visit Sunset Spot in Goa Chapora Fort is best places to visit in Goa. Perched atop a scenic hill, it offers a breathtaking panoramic view of the beach and the vast ocean below. Whether you’re a nature lover or just looking to unwind, this spot delivers pure magic. We reached in time to catch the sunset, and it was absolutely stunning—the sky painted in warm hues, the waves shimmering below, and the cool breeze wrapping it all together. It’s the kind of view that stays with you. Do note: the fort closes by 5 PM, so plan your visit accordingly to soak in the sunset from the top. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience Goa’s natural beauty from a peaceful, elevated viewpoint.

Great fort with very less people. There is not much to see in the terms of the fort in my opinion, but the view is really amazing. It's one of the highest places that can be easily climbed through a few flights of stairs. Nothing much to do other than just look around
Samarth N — Google review
The coastal defence planning, particularly at an estuary (a place where a river enters the sea) from the 14th to 15th century onwards, called for the construction of a fort. Such a fort not only offered protection to the coastal areas, but more importantly, it also insulated inland areas from enemy attacks by denying the enemy inland entry through the river. Based on the same doctrine, Chapora Fort is strategically located on a high hill feature on the southern bank of the Chapora estuary. Fort has an all-around clear view from its commanding height. The complete hillside and the fort are surrounded by lush greenery and look beautiful. The view from the fort is simply amazing. For the fort, full marks for its scenic beauty and the amazing 360-degree view it offers of the surroundings. What is wrong is the neglect by the civic authorities. Signage giving direction to the fort and to the parking areas is woefully inadequate. Parking areas need better management. At the fort itself, the Signage, the information boards are totally faded and can not be read. Fort also needs to be provided with strategically located small gazebo-like shelters where visitors can relax in the shade or be protected from the rain.

The famous movie Dil Chahta Hai scenes were shit here. Great experience and view from the fort. Closes at 5:30pm. Little bit crowded. Try to visit in the early hours if you love less crowds. 10min uphill climb is there to reach it but now its easier since stairs have been constructed.
Nabeel R — Google review
Chapora Fort – More Hype Than Experience I personally feel Chapora Fort is a bit overhyped, mainly because it gained fame after the Dil Chahta Hai movie was shot here. To be really frank, there’s nothing particularly exceptional about the place. The fort itself is in ruins, and apart from the scenic view of Vagator Beach, there isn’t much to explore. It’s worth a quick visit if you’re nearby or a Bollywood fan, but don’t expect too much beyond the view and the nostalgia.
Deepshikha K — Google review
Chapora Fort offers a decent viewpoint after a short climb of around 50–70 steps. The view from the top is quite scenic, especially if you enjoy nature and open landscapes. However, the condition of the fort itself is very poor. Most of the walls are either collapsed or in ruins, and there’s been almost no maintenance, which is disappointing for such a historic site. A helpful tip: carry a water bottle with you. The climb, though not very long, can be tiring, especially in the heat. Staying hydrated is important. Despite the lack of upkeep at the fort, our visit was made special by a lovely local lady (Aai). She was incredibly sweet and welcoming. She offered us freshly made limbu pani (lemonade) and genuinely asked about our well-being. It was a heartwarming moment and the highlight of our visit. If you’re visiting Chapora Fort, don’t miss stopping by Aai’s small refreshment stall. It’s a simple but memorable experience that adds a touch of local warmth to the trip.

Perched commandingly on a headland overlooking the confluence of the Chapora River and the Arabian Sea, Chapora Fort offers visitors far more than just historical ruins, it delivers one of North Goa's most spectacular panoramic vistas and a palpable connection to popular culture. Known locally as the "Dil Chahta Hai Fort" after the iconic Bollywood film scene shot here, the structure itself is a powerful testament to Goa's tumultuous history. Originally a military outpost called "Shahapura" built by the Bijapur Sultanate, the fort was rebuilt and strengthened by the Portuguese in 1617 using durable red laterite stone (visible in the uploaded images). This strategic position, with steep slopes on all sides, made it a vital northern defense point against various invaders, including the Marathas. Though abandoned since 1892, the remaining walls, like the weathered archway captured in the image, retain their powerful presence. Walking across the irregular outer ramparts, which follow the contours of the hill, is an experience in itself, allowing you to trace the defensive lines once manned by soldiers. Little remains of the barracks or the church of St. Anthony that once stood inside, giving the fort a wild, open, and atmospheric feel, dotted with brush and patches of grass. The real draw of Chapora Fort is the incredible 360-degree viewpoint. From the bastions, you are treated to a stunning coastal landscape: To the South: The sprawling sands and palm groves of Vagator Beach and Ozran Beach. To the North: The vast, tranquil expanse of the Chapora River meeting the sea, with the pristine Morjim Beach beyond in the Pernem region. To the West: The limitless Arabian Sea, providing the perfect backdrop for dramatic photographs. The climb up to the fort is a short but somewhat steep trek over rocky and uneven paths. It's essential to wear comfortable, non-slip footwear (avoiding flip-flops or heels) and carry water, as vendors are scarce once you are on the fort ruins. The undisputed best time to visit is during the late afternoon, specifically to catch the sunset. As the sun dips into the Arabian Sea, it casts a golden light over the laterite walls and paints the sky in vibrant shades of orange and purple. This serene moment is when the atmosphere is most magical and the photographic opportunities are truly limitless. In summary, Chapora Fort is a must visit in North Goa. It offers a perfect blend of historical intrigue, breathtaking scenery, and a dose of cinematic nostalgia, making the short, challenging climb absolutely worthwhile.

Chapora Beach is a nice spot with a relaxed vibe and beautiful views, especially around sunset. It’s less crowded than some of the more popular beaches, which is a plus if you want some quiet time. However, the beach itself can be a bit rocky in places and isn’t as clean as I hoped. There aren’t many facilities nearby, so it’s best to come prepared. Overall, it’s worth a visit if you’re exploring the area, but don’t expect a pristine, full-service beach experience.

Great beach to enjoy a peaceful evening and stunning sunset views. The waves come very close to the shore, which makes it scenic but not very safe for swimming. Best time to visit is during pleasant weather, as it’s not recommended in the monsoon due to strong tides. Perfect for sunset photography, relaxing walks, and soaking in the coastal vibes.
Hardik V — Google review
I recently visited this beach with the hope of enjoying a relaxing day by the sea, but unfortunately, the experience turned out to be quite disappointing for several reasons. The beach feels extremely congested. The number of shacks, restaurants, and bars set up right along the shoreline leaves very little open space to actually enjoy the beach or its views. There's hardly any breathing room, and it’s difficult to find a peaceful spot to sit and relax. It seems like every inch of the beach is commercialized, which seriously takes away from the natural charm and openness you'd typically expect at a beach. Another downside was the constant pestering from locals trying to sell water sports activities. While it's understandable that water sports are a part of the beach economy, it becomes frustrating when you’re approached every few minutes, even after politely declining. It really disrupts the peace and makes it hard to enjoy your time. Most of the restaurants and beach shacks are quite overpriced, especially for the quality and portion size offered. Even basic refreshments or snacks are charged at premium rates, which seems to be targeting tourists rather than offering fair value. If you're planning to spend a day here, be prepared for high prices without necessarily getting a premium experience.

I recently visited the Anjuna Flea Market in Goa during the off-season, and honestly, I found it a bit overrated. The stalls were fewer than I expected, and the crowd was minimal, so it didn’t have the lively, bustling vibe I had imagined from pictures. Some shops were even closed, which might be typical for the off-season. That said, it was still fun to stroll around, check out local handicrafts, and enjoy the quieter beach area nearby. I think visiting during peak season would give a very different, more vibrant experience.

This is a nice place to do some shopping in Goa. Well organized street with a lot of local items. Although the pattern keeps repeating, people visiting Goa, can go for a walk and do some shopping. However, make sure you bargain, they hype the prices and reduce it if we push. Almost every shop did that.

Bar
Sanctuary Bar & Kitchen, originally from Hyderabad, has expanded to Goa with a location in Vagator. The restaurant is housed within the lush remains of an ancient villa and boasts a unique blend of indoor and outdoor spaces. Renowned chef Sarah Todd leads the kitchen, offering a diverse menu featuring Indian, Oriental, and continental cuisines. In the evenings, guests can enjoy electronic music spun by a talented DJ.
Visited Sanctuary in Anjuna and had a good overall experience. The food was really tasty, though the drinks were average. Pricing starts around ₹650 per dish. I especially loved the outdoor seating area very pleasant and spacious. The indoor area felt a bit claustrophobic. Service was good, and we enjoyed a live singing performance. Since we went on a weekday, it was less crowded, which made the ambience even better. Worth a visit!

We stopped by for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the variety of both vegetarian and non-vegetarian options on the menu. We tried the Butter Garlic Calamari along with a few cocktails, both were absolutely excellent in flavor and presentation. The drinks were well-crafted, and the food was fresh and flavorful. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly, adding to the overall great experience. Highly recommended, definitely a must-try spot!

Our visit to The Sanctuary, Goa was nothing short of exceptional! From the moment we stepped in, the ambience set the perfect tone — warm, inviting, and thoughtfully designed with a laid-back yet classy vibe. Whether you're out for a casual meal or a special evening, this place feels just right. What truly stood out was the quality of the food. Every single dish we ordered was packed with flavor, fresh, and beautifully presented. You can tell a lot of thought and care has gone into curating the menu. There wasn’t a single dish that felt average — everything was genuinely amazing. The staff was equally impressive — extremely courteous, well-informed about the menu, and genuinely focused on making the experience enjoyable. They were attentive without being intrusive, which really elevated the overall dining experience. We left with full hearts and fuller stomachs, already planning our next visit. If you're in Goa and looking for a place that gets everything right — food, service, ambience — The Sanctuary is a must-visit. Truly one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a long time!

I visited The Sanctuary Bar and Kitchen, Goa for a special occasion and at first based on the google reviews and pictures, was stunned by how beautiful the property is. This year, it rained relentlessly in May, hence most places had figured out a seating arrangement for outside. When we arrived at the property our eyes lit up with how beautiful the walk through it, like a sanctuary indeed. However, we were quickly made aware that there is no outside seating available and we will have to limit ourselves to indoors. Therein, we were forced to sit in one of their sitting area which seemed very adhoc as their main restaurant was booked for an event. There was live music but it was in the hallway where no one sits, the live music could not be heard inside the sitting area and there was pin drop silence. I feel there is much work to be done in this aspect, however, The food, drinks and service at the same time remain excellent. Quality, quantity and service quality continue to be of competitive quality. The waiters and staff were also extremely kind and helpful. I booked this place through Zomato Gold and so I the bill was not painful either.

What a delightful experience! Everything about this place feels curated with exceptional care. Unlike most popular places in Goa, they've a dedicated parking lot and they even offered us umbrellas till the parking lot as it started to rain when we were leaving. Right from the moment you enter their premises, there's a beautiful walkway with lovely plants on both sides offering an in the nature feel. The interiors are tastefully designed, again with care to include kid friendly areas, and I think they've multiple seating rooms. Coming to the food, the moment you open the menu, it feels like one designed by a MasterChef runner up. Service was also brilliant, and we really loved the recommendations offered by Suday, our server. For starters we tried their Crab cakes, Peruvian garlic bread, Hummus with crispy spiced chickpeas. Crab cakes were soft, minced with mild flavors. Hummus was incredibly smooth and delicious, and the accompanying pita offered a great carrier with the soft crumbling texture. It's not at all spicy by Indian standards though, so feel free to order even if you don't prefer spicy food. Peruvian Garlic Bread was out of this world.. Must Try!! One of the best garlic bread we've ever had. The bread was light and crispy, and the toppings were soooo good that they elevated the dish to another level. For main course, we tried their smoked butter chicken with cheese garlic naan. Chicken was tender and the curry was full of flavour, albeit a bit on the sweeters side. Cheese Garlic Naan was good. For dessert, we went with Suday's recommendation of Shibuya Toast. This was an unparalled delight with the rich toast, accompanied by lovely creamy custard, and ice cream. Must try again! For drinks we had their Tika not Tikka, which was quite strong but nice. Exceptional place, would love to visit again someday.

One of the best fine dine restaurants in Goa! Huge old Portuguese style villa transformed into a beautiful restaurant keeping that old feel with modern look. Place has got a small room with caretaker for kids to play, which was very thoughtful. Lot of outdoor as well as indoor seating. Menu is extensive & everything here is delicious, must visit in Goa!

Extremely poor service. Took 20 mins to give us the menu. Did not even serve drinking water for half n hr of sitting. Cocktails were not at all good. Tasted like mock tails. Food quantity and taste is extremely poor. Not at all recommended.

W Goa, A One-Time Splurge W Goa, a property known for its glam appeal, definitely makes a strong first impression. We kicked off our Day 1 at the Rock Pool Café, which boasts a breathtaking view, no doubt about that. But be prepared: that view comes at a very steep price. The menu is already on the higher side, and with added tariffs and service charges, the final bill can be quite a shocker. We ordered a single-flavour hookah priced at ₹3,500 (plus taxes), along with just two more beverages, and the bill shot up with nearly ₹3,500 in additional taxes and charges alone. Honestly, while the ambiance was lovely, such views can be enjoyed elsewhere without burning a hole in your pocket. Even the rooms, though set in a stunning property, didn’t quite live up to the hype in terms of luxury or experience. Overall, W Goa might be worth a one-time visit if you’re curious or celebrating something special. But for me, it’s not a place I’d return to great for the gram, not so much for the wallet.

An awesome spot to chill by the rock pool or by the sea. The price you pay is for the ambiance and the view, not for the food! This is definitely not a place for a foodie! A must try resort to lighten your wallet.

Restaurant
Slow Tide in Anjuna pays tribute to the hippie culture that once thrived in the area. The restaurant's design, menu, and even its cocktails reflect this legacy. Chef Abhishek Deshmane's menu features coastal delights like sasam salad with a coconut dressing and Trincomalee prawn curry with red rice. The bar offers a modern take on Goa's alcohol culture, with cocktails named after prominent figures associated with the state's beverage realm.
From the atmosphere of the slow tides and the food and drinks just felt amazing. I had my birthday celebration over here and met my senior Akshay chavan sir after a decade but the vibe is the same. I loved the experiments with the delicacies and making it top notch. Again the cocktails were on different level for sure. Slow tides means it cause you sip the cocktail and see the day going down by the seashore’s and best part is the high tides and collapsing on the stones making it best sound and feeling you ever had. Must visit with your friend and family.

A tucked away place with the most amazing view you could ask for. Right at the beach, you can eat while listening to the sound of the waves. The food is Sri Lankan and it was darn impressive. Our favourites were prawns, pork samosa & mutton curry with Neer dosa. The service is the fastest I’ve had in Goa. The price is a bit high comparatively but the food is worth every penny you spend. The staff were polite and prompt, especially Baala and Brendon. And they are dog friendly! You can find adorable indies that they’ve cared for on their deck! Overall it was a pleasant experience, will visit again for sure.

Vibe is amazing if you pre book and come to this spot! It's situated in Anjuna, By the beach. To get here is a bit of a task as the lanes are extremely narrow and if you have 4 wheeler then be prepared for a adventure. Cover charge per person is 1500 INR and you get the sea facing table, for 2.5 hours. They may ask you to leave post this as they have next booking Their system was good to book online & they also gave confirmation call on the day of the booking. The staff was fine too. They have limited menu with coastal cusine. The dishes are authentic and hence you won't feel a five star dining experience. We tried their chicken starter and fish fry both were nice. Main course we ordered their recommendation of Chicken Pulav which comes with a gravy on side. It was something unique to try for. This is a luxury Shack and they have a separate place to view the sundowner It was pleasant and soothing experience. We booked the table for 5.30 pm and stayed upto 8 pm and hence got to witness the amazing goa sunset & even the rise of evening view. Overall I would recommend you to go here atleast once.

If you're looking to try a Goan vegetarian thali with a twist of experimental flavors, this is definitely the place to visit! The dishes are unique and thoughtfully prepared, giving a fresh take on traditional Goan cuisine. The place tends to get quite crowded, especially on weekends, so I’d recommend dropping by on a weekday for a more relaxed experience. Highly recommend for food lovers looking to explore something different!

We recently visited Slow Tide at Anjuna, and honestly, it felt less like a restaurant and more like a whole vibe. It’s not just a place to eat or drink – it’s an experience you’ll remember. Upon arrival, we parked at their designated parking space, which is slightly away from the main location. But here’s the twist – they offer their own rickshaw service to ferry guests from the parking area to the restaurant. That was such a thoughtful and fun touch! The ₹200 parking fee is redeemable against your bill, which was a nice bonus. We paid a ₹3000 cover charge for entry and were seated at a beautiful beach-facing table. And what a view it was! The Anjuna beach stretches right ahead, with waves crashing gently in the background and great music setting the perfect mood. The ambience is crafted with heart – boho-chic aesthetics, laidback seating, and a soothing blend of colours and textures. It instantly makes you feel like you've escaped into a little world of its own. The staff were incredibly warm and attentive, guiding us through the menu and helping us choose. The highlight? It was my mother’s birthday, and though we hadn’t informed them, they surprised us with a complimentary slice of chocolate mousse cake. A small gesture that touched us deeply! We ordered drinks, Sweet Potato Fritters, and Calamari Pulao – everything was absolutely delicious. But I have to give a special mention to the chutney served with the fritters – it was hands down the best chutney I’ve ever had. I even ordered their local poi bread just to savour it more! This is a place that excels in everything — ambience, food, drinks, service, and vibe. Whether you’re in Goa for a celebration or just to unwind, Slow Tide is a must-visit.

Rarely anyone does good Vegetarian Fusion food which blows your mind. Honestly it’s not even fusion, it’s so authentic that it’s amazing. Do try there Moringa Vada. To die for. It’s on Anjuna beach so the view is good but the sea is commercialised and lots of people on the beach block the view. So that’s a drawback. But must go for the food. Also the servers were great but the guy handling the door was a tad judgemental and rude.

What a fantastic and beautiful place to visit for lunch or dinner had an extremely amazing time here and the food was out of this world honestly the service along with the staff is excellent and couldn’t get any better such happy faces and responsive attitude and the aesthetics of the place is like none other every single detail is taken care of in such a beautiful way would 100% recommend this place to everyone and would definitely visit here again.

I recently visited this restaurant and had an interesting experience. The menu was limited, but it featured fresh, homegrown herbs and aromatics from their kitchen garden, which added a unique touch. While I didn’t try the cocktails, the cocktail menu looked quite appealing and creative. The place is on the expensive side and they do levy a 10% service charge, which might be a consideration for some. There's ample parking, which is a plus. As for the food, it didn’t quite have the "wow" factor I was hoping for, but all the dishes were healthy and gut-friendly, with a focus on nutritious ingredients. The staff was attentive and well-informed about the menu, providing a pleasant dining experience. Overall, it’s worth a visit for those looking for a healthy, unique dining experience, but for me, it’s more of a one-time visit.

Elevated Burmese food! I loved the flavors of the dishes - great balance of savory, spice and a hint of tartness. Will recommend The tea leaf salad as it has so many unique texture and layers to the dish. I also appreciated that they deshell the crab so throughly for the curry crab dish! there is only alfresco dining so it may get warm in the day but they have tried to add as many fans around the tables. Service was warm and prompt. Overall we had an enjoyable dining experience here.

Honestly I wish this could be a preference thingy but I didn’t enjoy a single thing I ordered. The salad was mediocre or I would say the best thing among all, fried rice meh pork curry 2/10, lychee curry 3/10 and the coconut panna cotta with passion fruit 1/10. Overall expensive and not worth the hype. Presentation 8/10.

Club Cubana, Arpora, Goa

3.9
(2561)
Night club
Located atop Arpora Hill near the Saturday Night Market in Arpora, Club Cubana is a vibrant and lively nightclub that offers a neon-lit dance floor with pulsating DJ music. The club also features a spacious outdoor area with a pool, white canopied loungers, and a Jacuzzi. It offers an extensive selection of beverages including wines from Scotland, Mediterranean spirits, Indian liquors, and Australian beers.
I so love the vibe and the atmosphere, the pool, the lights the decor is fantastic and view is great . Good photogenic environment and it’s in the top so there’s a jeep service from the club itself for pick and drop from the below parking spot or else you got steps to climb which is not really a good idea after the party unless you wanna roll down below and fly . Highly recommend to visit . PS: sometimes they got the unlimited alcohol pack which barely gets you high (yeah yeah juice more less alcohol in cocktails) but make sure to take good use of it 😅 .
Sharath P — Google review
Probably the worst pub/club in North Goa. The dance floor atmosphere is absolutely dead and the food is so expensive that the 6k cover charges got spent by ordering 3-4 items from the menu (2.5k was spent on alcohol). The food menu has very less options with no main course. Their main course menu weirdly includes including french fries and paneer tikka (see image attached below). Each item in the menu costs about 1k and quantity seems like we paid 100 rupees for it.

Absolute shitshow..!! 1. The club was dead on a Saturday night 2. Food and alcohol is overpriced by 30% at least 3. Staff contribution and taxes are added over and above, which is not mentioned anywhere 4. Staff is confused and delivering random orders to tables 5. Delay in servicing even when the club is empty 6. Place is decent but not maintained at all 7. Got fake cheap strong liquor and screwing with our health 8. Food was average and not worth the price at all 9. A fly in my drink, sigh, as if it could not get any worse 10. Again, completely dead on a Saturday night in Goa, might as well shut down!!

Very dull vibe , there was not crowd at all. Price is way too high . Food quality was okish. Dance floor is too shady. It looks more like creepy and cheap place .

The most happening night club in Goa ! It has an amazing vibe, elite crowd, great music. Its a neon lit club with spacious outdoors and a pool. It has different open air levels with a bar in each level. The best part is the amazing view as it’s built on a hilltop. Jeep service is there for pick and drop provided by the club itself. Offers you unlimited drinks. You can binge on the pizza and other snacks available on order. Pizza is worth a try. The light dance performed by two ladies after 12 in the night was a cherry on the cake ! Definitely coming back Cabana !!!

It was very horrible and waste of time experience, let me walkthrough the matrix which lead for rating for 1 star. Parking -very unorganised parking space and full dark space, they can add some lights or make this place a little better. 0/5 Waiting at parking to reach the actual destination- 200m distance from parking, Cubana team have jeep and with so much crowd the waiting time is more than 15 minutes in dark (raw area) - 0/5 Entry - it’s very fast and very quick -5/5 Service - we book Sky bar similarly they have multiple other bar which can be access from one to another but for order you have to reach only your booked bar. Very uncomfortable- 0/5 Service adon- Table se sold with minimum 10K order above the cover charges which make a single table order value close to -16K. Not worthy. Service by team - No service provide by waiter or team 0/5 Price - Entry price are high but menu price are reasonable like we were not able to make bill close to over cover charges.
Satnam S — Google review
Had an amazing experience here. To begin with, the terrain of this club is very unique. Ambience is outstanding, cannot expect anything more in that (5/5 for ambience). Food quality is good but had to wait for very long just to get one dish say Pizza. The service needs to be improved so that the guests can enjoy more and more instead of spending time in long queues. The dance floor is a bit congested as the DJ inside is right beside the main entrance. To sum up, its a really nice club and I would recommend it as a must visit place among many in Goa.

Vibrant place with lot of stalls selling handcrafted items. Leather items to cotton to jute a lot of items are on sale. There were even stalls where you can get some drinks and beer, while you enjoy the live music from local bands. We accidently stumbled across this market and lucky for us, we were early there. The food options were vast and the crowd was very diverse. It was a chill place to hangout with good live music and people just minding their own business. It's a good place for some shopping but be ready for some serious bargaining as the prices are sky high given the foreign crowd. Overall a good evening spent
Heena M — Google review
Nice place. There’s live music and variety of different items displayed including souvenirs, bags, clothes, footwear, dream catchers, crystals, etc. However in my opinion i thought that the collection was repetitive and slightly overpriced considering the tourist price they charge. Otherwise it’s all fine, can go once.

Calangute Beach Market is a vibrant shopping destination in Goa, popular among tourists for its lively atmosphere and diverse offerings. Reflecting the influence of the 1960s and 70s hippie culture, this market stretches along the picturesque 4-mile beach, adorned with palm trees, shacks, and stalls. Here, visitors can find an array of goods including clothing, jewelry, leather sandals, seashell trinkets, and local delicacies like fried prawns.

If you’re new to this market, let me warn you prior visiting ! If you’re in shorts or even somewhat revealing clothes here people will give you special attention and will stare you like anything. Don’t get fooled by tattoo guys here as they are really cheap and very unprofessional people. For buying anything there no one bargains unless you are being nice. Honestly I didn’t like the place

Beware of Dry Fruit Sellers at Calangute Beach – SCAM ALERT! I recently visited Calangute Beach and bought around 4-5 kgs of cashew nuts from the local dry fruit sellers. To my disappointment, every single pack was damaged – many of the cashews were broken, stale, and even worse, some had visible fungus. It's shocking that they charge so much for such poor quality products. These sellers are clearly taking advantage of tourists, and this is nothing short of a scam. I strongly advise everyone to avoid buying cashew nuts from these vendors unless you want to end up with inedible, substandard products. It's a real shame, as it spoils the experience of what should be a memorable trip.

Seafood restaurant
Starlight Family Restaurant & Bar in Arpora, Goa offers a delightful culinary experience with flavorsome soups, perfectly balanced starters, and savory main courses like the American Chospy and expertly prepared biryani. This restaurant has been a go-to spot for over 10 years, known for its reasonably priced menu and matching beverages. While the service may be a bit slow, the staff is welcoming. The location on the main road makes it easily accessible for visitors.
What a delightful experience at Starlight! The seafood was cooked to perfection, highlighting the fresh, authentic Goan flavors they're known for. The staff were remarkably attentive, making for a truly enjoyable dining experience. Don't leave without trying their serradura, it's the perfect Goan milk dessert.

A great restaurant serving good Goan cuisine. There are chicken and different fish Thalis. We also chose the seasonal crab Sukka too. Dessert options are less. Car parking available across the road.

Got reference to visit this place for their crab masala/sukka. Definitely a worth try with fish thali. One thing they should definitely improve is service time and response (taking to much time to take orders and responses are not prompt). I would visit here again for the above mentioned 2 items.

I visited for the 4th time one of the best place for seafood. I like the food as always.but small suggestion they shouldn't depends only for local staff from goa because sometimes they are rude and ignore the guest i saw busy with mobile phone most of the time , don't bother our table beer got over long back asked for one more starters but they were act busy don't know why But i love the food and atmosphere will definitely visit again...

Extremely overhyped place!! Uncleaned fish was served!! We had to wait for 45 mins for fish thali and dal tadka during lunch time!! Service is extremely slow !! They told us that fish is not cleaned outside but inside it's clean !! I mean who says it!! Very untidy place smelly hand wash area and juice was served in dirty glass!!
Deepa M — Google review
Visited Starlight after many months and noticed they’ve changed their ambience. The food was really good we were a group of 10 and tried a variety of starters and seafood. The crab sukkha was everyone’s favorite – highly recommended! We tried different kinds of fish as well, all well-cooked and flavorful. Our total bill came to around ₹15,000, which felt fair for the quantity and quality. That said, the drinks were average and service was disappointing. Initially, we weren’t served properly, and the staff only became attentive after one of our relatives (well-known in the area) arrived. That kind of selective service felt unprofessional. Also, the washrooms were not clean. Great food, but the overall experience could improve with better service and cleanliness.

Nestled in the vibrant area of Calangute, O'Pescador Restobar is a delightful culinary gem that captures the essence of coastal dining. With its enchanting ambiance adorned with fairy lights and soothing melodies, it sets the perfect backdrop for a memorable meal with friends. The menu boasts an impressive array of seafood specialties, including crispy fish fingers and succulent stuffed squids, all expertly seasoned to tantalize your taste buds.
Been there with my friends and all of us just loved the food. The ambiance is amazing with perfect fairy lighting and very soothing music. We have ordered fish fingers from the starters, the very famous cosmopolitan and Screwdriver cocktails and chicken lasagna and beef lasagna in the main course. The food was perfectly cooked. Chicken and beef both were very delicious, juicy and it was a perfect blend of spices in the dishes. Fish fingers were amazingly crispy. Also the drinks were just perfect! The staff is very cordial. I am more than delighted to mention 'Joe' who was the main at our service, his behaviour literally made our day. We were initially confused whether we should go for the dinner or to the beach, but we never regretted the decision to give this place a chance. Would definitely recommend the place. O' Pescador restaurant in Calangute is one of the oldest restaurants in that area. This place has a great vibe with classy interiors. The speciality of this place is their seafood which goes quite well with their amazing cocktails. Some of the dishes that we tried were stuffed Squids, rawa fried Kingfish, jalapeno poppers, chicken wings, prawns skewers in cafreal masala, tandoori pomfret with some amazing drinks like virgin mojito, virgin colada and fruit punch. The owner is very friendly and interactive. They also have an attached boutique. Do visit the place for a great experience, especially at night for the perfect goan vibe.

Great food & a wonderful musical evening. Highly enjoyed & recommended!! We ordered a brushcetta, calamari & a sizzler. The calamari had a nice bright red chilli sauce. The sizzler with mushroom sauce was nice. We ordered a hookah & the hookah maker was very helpful, he kept refilling the hookah with fresh coal at all times. The wine was served nicely in a cooler. They had a valet service here too, a huge plus because finding parking can be a mess.

This is located right opposite the Tibetan market in Baga. It's a new Portuguese themed restaurant and lounge. The hostess instantly makes you feel welcome. The interiors are very uniquely designed. There's a boat shaped dining table which looked very cool to me. The staff are courteous and helpful with suggestions. Drinks are fair and they have a very decent collection. Coming to food - everything I ordered, I liked. Pretty prompt in their service. The owner seemed like a very nice fellow and made sure to get our feedback. All in all, I'd definitely recommend everyone to try this place out!

The Patio at Pizza Delizia is a pizza restaurant located in Goa that offers a variety of delicious food, including pizzas, burgers, and Western dishes. It has a relaxed garden setting with picnic benches where customers can enjoy their meals. The restaurant also organizes Afro-Latin dance socials every Tuesday and Thursday, which are perfect for both experienced dancers and beginners. The events start with an hour-long dance workshop followed by social dancing.
They usually have these Salsa parties held. It's a lovely experience as you see the best dancers come on the stage to enthrall you with their dancing skills. The ambience is beautiful. The food especially their pizzas are great. I love their fish based dishes. The staff are polite and Swift. They do have a parking lot nearby which is convenient considering their location. I have visited them both during lunch and dinner time. Their gigs are usually in the evenings. This place is a must for their sumptuous food and especially for these Salsa gigs.

A great place to hangout with friends and family. The view is amazing and the food gets even better. The staff is very helpful and courteous. Try any pizza and you won't be disappointed. The quesadillas were so so good. There are plenty of tables so you don't have to worry about not getting a table during peak hours. They only take cash and UPI payments. So that means no credit or debit cards.

Pizza Delizia This year our Goa trip was about exploring new cafes. That's when we came across The Patio. Beautiful cafe with outdoor seating, just like the name suggests. They also have a terrace kind of setup which they've beautifully arranged. The food is absolutely delicious. We loved the authenticity of the Mexican food maintained. From Burritos to their Pizzas, everything is great. One of the best Margarita Pizzas we've had! Fresh tomato sauce and cheese used, loved it. Definitely visiting again soon.

This is a must visit place for lovely hangout, especially with so many outdoor events they have to offer. 🙊 I visited this place just a couple of days back, amazing vibes, and great staff ! 😍 Absolutely loved their Southern Fried Chicken Burger which came along with this crispy crumb coated chicken, with juicy and tangy sauces and veggies and their homemade hand cut potato wedges which was absolutely delicious ! I also happened to try their Chicken Sausage Pizza and Smokey Chicken Burrito which was okay in taste; it wasn’t that great wasn’t that bad either. ✨ Definitely hop in at this place if you’re in and around Arpora ! ❤️

I was planning to visit the cafe for sometime but got an opportunity recently. Pizza Delizia stands true to it's name as it delivers the best pizzas. Their pizzas are to die for. The food was excellent and unusually the menu was concise with enough choice to satisfy most tastes. The atmosphere is very cozy, with eye soothing ambience and intimate lighting. And, the staff are lovely and can help with the menu. We kicked it off with the Cocktails ▫️Dragan Berry: The dragon berry isn’t strong at all and it doesn’t burn the throat . Flavor is great but alcohol could taste better. ▫️Strawberry Mojito: Strawberry Mojito Kombucha Cocktail it was perfect and so refreshing with only 5 ingredients including strawberries, mint, lime, kombucha and a strawberry syrup! ▫️Prawn with thick creamy white sauce Pizza: When the pizza arrived, our expectations continued to be exceeded. The crust was crisp, flavorful, extremely soft and chewy. The toppings worked together beautifully. The prawns and creamy white sauce were packed with flavor, and the mozarella had a great consistency.🤤 ▫️Southern fried chicken with Hummus, chips and salad: The breading added a crisp coating or crust to the exterior of the chicken while retaining juices in the meat. It was just crisp on the outside and juicy in the inside.🤤Lip smacking They also have dancing nights involving Salsa, jazz and retro themes. By the end of the meal we were planning our next visit.

Hello Visited here after sunset But m damn sure here you will get best sunset view ever bcoz of the location Ambience here was supper good with trendy music with cool lights. We ordered Virgin Mojito, chicken Tinga Tacos & Sausage Pizza. Nothing was disappointing in all those Will rate all 3 as best due to the quality and quantity. - Stuffings inside tacos were upto the mark, we feel every bit of chicken chunks in it. - Pizza was over loaded with sausages and chicken with extra cheese, spicy and tangy. - Virgin Mojito was super likely how I prefers to have sweet and tangy. Owner here was supper cooperative with their guests and staffs were too personally taking care of guests Will recommend to visit here during sunset time To Enjoy your drink with a view

Pousada by the Beach is a charming small hotel with an open-air eatery that offers a rustic, beachfront setting and seafood-centric dishes. The restaurant is known for its stunning beach views, relaxed vibe, and delicious seafood fare, including their famous Fish in Banana Leaf. This popular spot has been frequented by Bollywood stars and is perfect for enjoying a meal with family while taking in the sea view and friendly hospitality.
What a wonderful place! Absolutely lovingly furnished with great attention to detail. The service is superb. On the recommendation of the chef, I had probably the best fish curry of my life there ;)

My favourite part about that restaurant was their fur babies. They have 3 labrador and 1 golden retriever roaming around in their restaurant. All 4 pets are very friendly and adorable. The view was breathtaking. You get to have a sea view from your table. The owner Neville is a gem of a person who recommended us the best food we could have there. Service was top notch.

The place has a beautiful beach view with a cool breeze, and the overall ambience felt vintage and very pleasant. The food was tasty, especially the Goan special curries, and they also offered a variety of side dishes like breads, which was a nice touch. However, I did feel that the food was a little overpriced, and the service could be improved, as I felt slightly off with the way the staff attended. Still, overall, it was a good experience with great food and a lovely setting.

An absolute oasis of calm just a stone’s throw from the beach — and the best part? They have dogs. 🐾 The place was spotless, serene, and full of wagging tails. There was Chai — who took his sweet time sizing me up — but once he decided I was worthy, he turned into a furry shadow I couldn’t shake off. There were plenty of other dogs too… their names escape me (I blame the post-lunch siesta vibes). Neville, the host, clearly has an eye for the devils in the details — every little touch spoke of care and quiet precision. Service was everything Goa should be — prompt but unhurried, polite without being performative. That perfect susegad balance where no one rushes you, but you never feel forgotten either. Yes, the food leans on the pricier side, but it more than makes up for it with generous portions and knockout flavor. All in all, it was a wonderful afternoon with friends reuniting after twenty-odd years — stories, laughter, and a few dog cuddles later, it felt like no time had passed at all. Until the next time… 🌴🍻

And upscale beach restaurant run by Neville and family. I would solely recommend Goan food here as it's the yummiest. I will suggest one to have their lip smacking soulful dishes like vegetable xacuti, steamed fish in banana leaf, goan prawn curry in coconut milk, and their desert serradura. The quantity is well balanced. I just loved the hospitality here. Very friendly and welcoming. One can open the gate of the property and wallah... you'll enter the beach.

A cozy beachside restaurant, with a wide assortment of delicious delicacies! The place can be accessible from the beachside and has warm and friendly staff members, who ensure your pleasant enjoyable experience at the place, be it the food, the drinks or the calming vibes of the beach itself!

Club Titos is a renowned nightlife spot in India, particularly popular among vacationers in Goa. It has extended to include Titos Courtyard and Mambo, with the entire stretch leading to Baga beach known as Titos Lane. The club offers a vibrant atmosphere with DJ music, dancing, and a variety of cocktails and beers. It is frequented by a young crowd looking for an energetic night out.
My recent visit to Club Tito’s in Goa was nothing short of spectacular! Located on the vibrant Tito’s Lane near Baga Beach, it’s hands-down the best happening place in Goa. My friends and I had an absolute blast, dancing the night away to pulsating Bollywood and EDM beats spun by talented DJs. The energy was electric, with dazzling lights and a lively crowd that kept the vibes soaring. The drinks were top-notch, and the food, especially the Goan-inspired bites, was delicious. The open-air dance floor and beachside vibes made it an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend everyone visiting Goa to hit up Club Tito’s at least once—it’s a must-have experience that captures the heart of Goa’s nightlife! Five stars for an epic night
HarshKumar A — Google review
Tito’s Club in Goa is one of those places almost everyone hears about before visiting Baga Beach, and naturally, we decided to check it out during our trip. The overall experience was decent but not as extraordinary as the hype around it suggests. It’s definitely a fun place to be if you’re with a group of friends, but it comes with its fair share of hits and misses. The atmosphere is vibrant — flashing lights, energetic music, and a lively crowd that perfectly captures Goa’s nightlife spirit. The DJs play a good mix of commercial hits and Bollywood tracks, keeping the dance floor active most of the night. Drinks are well-prepared, though slightly overpriced for what they offer. The bartenders were friendly and quick with service even when the place got crowded. However, the biggest downside is the crowd management and entry experience. The place gets packed, and sometimes it feels overly congested, leaving little room to move freely or enjoy comfortably. The seating area is limited, and service at tables can be slow. The ambience, while energetic, could use better ventilation and cleaner washrooms to match its popularity. The crowd is mostly young tourists, so if you’re looking for a calm or classy nightlife experience, Tito’s might feel a bit too loud and commercial. But if your idea of fun is dancing the night away with friends in a buzzing atmosphere, it fits the bill. Overall, Tito’s is good for one-time experience, especially if it’s your first Goa trip — a 3-star spot that’s more about the vibe than luxury or comfort.

Great time at Titos! We had come to Baga beach just to visit one of the clubs on the Titos lane and it didn't disappoint. We are a family of 4 with 2 teenage kids and it was suitable for the kids too who enjoyed some of the acrobatics displays. Couple entry is 1500 which will be redeemed against drinks. Cards are given at the entry and for each order the waiters will swipe the cards and provide a bill which marks the remaining value. All well managed. We went in past 9pm on a Friday first week of May and it was not crowded. Action started picking up past 10pm with DJ, in house performers and the dance floor (which was not that big). Good entertainment for few hours and we left well past midnight. The streets were still bustling with lot energy. Although we were staying the night at Aaristo inn at walking distance, I saw a fairly large paid parking lot right opposite the club. So it should not be a problem if you have to drive here.

I had a really disappointing experience at Tito’s Club in Goa. I went there after seeing all the hype on Instagram and influencer promotions, but honestly, the reality is completely different. The whole booking process feels misleading. They charge a cover of ₹1500 (redeemable only on drinks), but when you reach, you’re seated at tables at the back. If you want a decent table in front, they’ll ask for an additional ₹5000 – something they never mention upfront. The menu is extremely overpriced for what they offer, and the service is equally poor. The staff is arrogant and unhelpful – once they’ve taken your cover charge money, it’s almost like you’re invisible. You literally have to chase them down if you want to order anything, which kills the entire vibe. Overall, it was nowhere near the “party experience” I was hoping for. Definitely not worth the money, time, or hype. Most of the positive things you see online are just Instagram promotions – I’d suggest not falling for them. Not recommended at all.
Pushpendra T — Google review
We had a very poor experience at Titos Goa. There’s too much hype around this pub, but the reality was extremely disappointing. We were a group of 8 and paid ₹2000 per person, which they said could be redeemed for drinks. But once inside, no one was available to serve us. Instead, they kept pushing us to pay another ₹10,000 for a table booking just to get proper service – something never mentioned before. The sound system was weak, amenities were poor, and there was absolutely no one to guide, explain, or suggest. 👉 If you’re coming from South India, please avoid this place. If you book as a stag, no one is ready to serve you, even though the price is 10x higher than other places. Overall, all 8 of us were totally disappointed. Definitely not worth the hype!

Everyone says if you are visiting goa, titos is must. And i think our biggest mistake. It was so overcrowded, humid atmosphere and cheap crowd that you can simply find that this place is not for you. We just left before an hour. Please dont waste your time going there. Instead sit nearby on a beach shack and enjoy the view

Club Titos is very nice. Full enjoyment. Drinking is costly. The price is too high. Entry fees are High for boys only. A couple entries are free.

Best nightclub in Goa, located near Baga Beach. Off-season entry is ₹1,500 for couples, and during the season, entry prices range from ₹3,000 to ₹4,000. Use the coupon for drink purchases. The main party start from 9 pm to 3 am.

Love the place. Love the vibe. Food quality has fallen drastically though since last visit. The pizza was really bad. This has the potential to be much better than Curlies that is next to it. But seems like they are content with the crowd they pull.

Ohh this is heaven. Went there for after after party at 4 AM and it was still packed! It was my second time visiting and it never fails to amaze me. Pro tip do not bring 4-wheelers here. Prefer scooters as the road to Shiva Valley is very cramped and the parking is crunched!

My experience at Shiva Valley was kickass. I went to this place for the New Year party and the vibe was amazing. In food, I loved their Kingfish and chicken chilli, also their drinks were not that expensive so its totally worth the hype.

one of the oldest beach shacks with trance parties on Tuesdays. the atmosphere is super relaxed, all the declared DJs played 100 out of 100. nice decoration, the sound is loud enough to dance even on the beach. the sunset was incredibly beautiful. didn't really like the food, but everything else was very fine! If you want to have fun and dance from the heart, I recommend to look here.

Nestled in the serene embrace of nature, Mayonna Creekside - Guest House & Restaurant is a true haven for those who appreciate the great outdoors. This family-run establishment offers a delightful array of multi-cuisine options, including Chinese, continental dishes, tandoor specialties, and barbecue delights. Guests rave about their experiences here; many return for breakfast and dinner during their stay in North Goa due to the exceptional food quality and swift service provided by the attentive staff.
We went there for drinks and dinner for 2 nights. And we were not disappointed. Amazing ambience, Amazing staff, Amazing food. Especially Lucky Sharma who served us with a smile and is a great to have a conversation with.

We recently dined at Mayonna Creekside and had an amazing experience 😍 The food was absolutely delicious, complemented by an excellent view. It's a very nice place to sit by the riverside, offering a budget-friendly option with a beautiful ambiance. The service was excellent and quick, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. Absolutely the best meal! I would highly recommend visiting this place if you're in Goa. It is located opposite Baga River and is approximately a 10 to 15-minute drive from Baga Beach. The waiters were extremely professional and hospitable. The food quality was great, and the service was commendable and fast. Waiters need to cross the road for each order to placed 👏 The rates are reasonable compared to other cafés and eateries in the area. I tried Goa’s local drink, Feni, along with Goan special fish curry, prawns, and squid fry. If you're looking for spicy food, don't go for Goan fish curry it's slightly on the sweeter side. We loved every bit of this place from the staff’s behavior and live music to the food and the lovely environment.

After a chaotic evening at Baga Beach, overwhelmed by the crowds and flashy shack lights, my husband and I decided to head back to our Airbnb and find something quieter around Siolim. On our way, we stumbled upon this charming little shack-style bar by the river — Mayonna’s Creek. Something about the peaceful ambiance, the soft glow of lights, and the gentle hum of live English music drew us in instantly. No blaring Bollywood remixes, just soothing tunes that matched the calm waters of the creek beside us. The crowd was mellow, the vibe relaxed — it felt like we had stepped into a different side of Goa. We even spotted a spider web glistening in the soft light — oddly enough, it didn’t feel creepy at all. It added a raw, rustic charm to the place, making it feel even more tucked away and magical. The host was friendly and warm, adding to the welcoming feel of the place. Sitting there, sipping on drinks with the cool breeze brushing past us, listening to soulful music while watching the creek flow — it was truly an experience. We’re so glad we spotted it. If you’re looking to escape the usual chaos and enjoy a serene evening, Mayonna’s Creek is the place.

We were a group of 8 friends who visited North Goa. The first day we had breakfast here was an amazing experience. After that we almost had breakfast and dinner regularly here, also lunch a few times, as long as we stayed. The waiters were extremely professional and hospitable. Food quality was great and service extremely commendable and fast. Rates are reasonable in comparison to other cafés and eateries in that area. Would definitely visit again if in North Goa and would recommend everyone else as well.

Vegetarian restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant locale of Arpora, Goa, Aur Jalsa is a vegetarian haven that promises an unforgettable culinary experience. This charming restaurant specializes in a delightful array of Goan, North Indian, and Chinese dishes. A highlight here is their renowned Rajasthani Thali—a feast that showcases over 18 delectable items bursting with authentic flavors and spices.
Review for Aur Jalsa, Rajasthani Thali Meal I recently had the pleasure of dining at Aur Jalsa to experience their authentic Rajasthani Thali, and it was a feast for both the eyes and the palate. The moment you sit down, you are welcomed with traditional hospitality and a beautifully arranged platter that showcases the rich diversity of Rajasthani cuisine. The Thali offers an incredible variety of dishes, each packed with bold flavors and spices that reflect the heritage of Rajasthan. The gatte ki sabzi and ker sangri were equally delightful, with their unique textures and rich gravy. Accompaniments like papad, kadhi, and raita provide a refreshing contrast to the spicy curries. The assortment of rotis and missi roti, along with fluffy rice, complemented the meal perfectly. The thali ends with a sweet note of Gulab Jamun and chocolate ice cream, which adds a perfect finish. The ambiance of the hotel complements the food, with traditional Rajasthani decor and attentive staff who ensure you are well taken care of throughout the meal. For anyone looking to indulge in the essence of Rajasthan, the Rajasthani Thali at Aur Jalsa is an experience you won’t want to miss.

Amazing restaurant with unlimited dining and vegetarian tasting menu so fantastic of flavour. Beautiful interiors and ambience with amazing art work from Rajasthan and Gujarat. The food kept coming and it was deliciously fresh and without too much oil. The starters we had which were khandvi and kurkuri patice were delicious as were the 6 or 7 curries with an array of different breads such as phulka, puran puri, Bajri rotla, puris and then finished off with rice and daal and kadhi. The fresh mithai and desserts were extremely tasty and the service from Stallion-Bhai and Saurabh Bhai was faultless and flawless ! An amazing dining experience and this place is fit to earn a Michelin star or two ! We will be back when we are in Goa and thank you so much for an amazing experience. Oh and the background music was Indian classical and perfect and the lighting and ambience and decor amazing ! We really enjoyed ourselves

When you first walk in you see beautiful paintings and designs. The service is incredible and the staff are so wonderfully attentive! I have been in India for over 2 1/2 months, and my dinner here yesterday was the best meal I’ve had since I’ve been here! I would come eat at this restaurant even if I wasn’t staying at this hotel. 100/10 recommend to everyone, not just vegetarians!

This restaurant has won the best vegetarian restaurant in Goa for a few years. It offers a vegetarian thali comprising at least 18 items! All items tasted delicious. Most of the dishes are jain so excludes onions and garlic, but this did not affect the tastiness of the food. Service was excellent.

This is a set menu and they provide you with as much food as you can eat. So basically an all you can eat buffet of top quality food. They had 4 different curries with different types of rotis (with gluten free options). My wife has celiac disease and requires gluten free food. They were able to accurately provide the proper food. She only missed out on 3-4 items, the rest was safe for her to eat. Very clean, aesthetic and tasty food. If you are in Goa, this is a must try place.

This serves really good Goan food. Their chicken cafreal was 10/10 along with that the chicken chilly was good as well as the beef chilly though the spice level was high. At the end the caramel pudding tasted quiet good.

The best Goan restaurant without any doubts. It’s in the middle of nowhere in Nerul village but if you ever visit Fort Aguada don’t miss the opportunity to taste authentic Goan food from here. 😋

Went there for lunch and had a good time. I tried the Feni that they made and even took back a bottle as a take away. For food I have the Tongue and the pigling roast and my vegetarian friend had the mushroom Xakuti along with some poie and rice. Last but not the least for dessert, the serradura just melted in your mouth. Highly recommended for Non Veg foodies.

Tucked away in a quiet corner, this place welcomes you with a warm, homely ambience that immediately makes you feel like you’ve stepped into a Goan home. From flavorful seafood curries to mouth-watering local delicacies, the food not only fills your stomach but also your heart. The portions are generous, and the freshness of ingredients stands out. Pair it with their local feni or a chilled beer, and you’ve got yourself a perfect Goan evening.

I travel to Goa often and hence I have tried food across all the major spots and eateries: The food was great here! Absolutely good. I also liked the way the order was curated and explained to us, before finalizing. Overall, I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for authentic Goan cuisine in the Candolim/Calangute areas. I ordered multiple sea food dishes, chicken/meat and beverages. The politeness with which they ask and explain their orders, is also something praiseworthy.
