The road runs mostly on the inner edge of the coastal ridge, and you won't see anything unless you stop at the designated viewpoints - where there are not too many parking places available. We could not visit any of the villages on the way to Pesaro on this route in July - because all parking places were full. I would advise to plan smaller hikes in this area, that must be very nice. On the flip side, the scenery is pretty much the same everywhere we stop: endless sea, meeting endless sky on the horizon. Don't get me wrong, it is spectecular, but you would not stop for this same view 5 times and fight for parking place every time, right? We expected a coastal scenic drive based on touristic recommendations - which is not the case here - hence the 2 stars.

What a lovely place! The soft shell crabs are a seasonal item and it’s a must have. They were sweet & juicy and were the best soft shell crabs I’ve ever had. The passatelli comes with generous portions of fish & seafood. The spaghetti with sea urchins is cooked al dente and you can taste the freshness of the uni. All the seafood is so fresh and extremely well cooked. Personally I really like the lemon sorbet as there seems to be some milk in it, unlike other sorbets that taste mainly ice. The entire meal costs EUR91 (for 2 persons) which I think is reasonably priced. I wish to go back and try more of their dishes soon!

Food was good, service was slow and I felt as though I wasn’t particularly welcome. The third time we went I asked for the English menu and was surprised to see that anything I ordered from the English menu cost a euro more than if I ordered it from the Italian menu that my partner was ordering from. I kind of figured that the unwelcome feeling was justified after that and haven’t returned. Shame as the food was good.
