Shopping mall
Shopping
CentralWorld, formerly known as the World Trade Center, is a massive shopping complex located in the heart of Bangkok's Sukhumvit district. It is one of the largest shopping centers in Asia and continues to be a top attraction in Thailand. The mall features eight floors filled with a wide variety of shops offering everything from fashion and technology to beauty products. Visitors can also enjoy dining at numerous national and international restaurants on the upper floor.
CentralWorld – massive and lively shopping hub! 🛍️🌆 CentralWorld is one of Bangkok’s largest and busiest malls. It has an incredible variety of international brands, local shops, restaurants, and cafes, so there’s something for everyone. The mall is modern, clean, and well-organized, but it can get very crowded, especially on weekends or during holidays. The open spaces and impressive atrium make walking around enjoyable, and there are plenty of spots for dining and relaxing. If you love shopping, food, and experiencing the bustling city vibe, CentralWorld is a must-visit. Just be ready for crowds!
Hashem M — Google review
As a tourist, I really enjoyed visiting this mall! It’s a great place to shop for both luxury brands and local Thai labels. The mall is big, clean, and beautifully designed — perfect for walking around and exploring. There are so many restaurants and cafes to choose from, and there’s almost always an event going on. I also love that it’s connected by a walking bridge to nearby areas, which makes it super convenient to get around. Definitely a must-visit spot when in Bangkok!
Fatin R — Google review
CentralwOrld is one of the most impressive shopping malls in Bangkok! 🛍️✨ It’s huge, modern, and offers an incredible variety of international brands, restaurants, and cafés – you can truly find everything here. 🍜👗☕ The atmosphere is great – a perfect mix of luxury and relaxation. The food courts and rooftop bars are definite highlights. 🍹 Everything is spotless, well organized, and easy to navigate. A perfect place to shop, dine, and enjoy the Bangkok lifestyle!

Our favorite mall ist the Siam Paragon, followed by the MBK Center. Both are near Centralworld. It's a great area to stay at if you like malls (like we do). Of these three, the Centralworld is the one that excites me the least. Pricing and shopping wise it's somewhere between the more luxury Siam Paragon (with the best food hall) and the cheaper MBK Center. There's nothing wrong with this mall though. A good range of shops, cheaper and more luxurious ones. Nice food court and a good number of really nice restaurants. It's just the one I feel the least connected to, just didn't catch me like the other two. But there's a very very good reason to come here anyways: It's "Katsu Midori". The Sushi Restaurant with the best Sushi outside of Japan. Quality is insanely good. Be sure to make a reservation or be ready to wait up to two hours. But worth it. Still: If you're in the area, it's a pretty fun mall and worth checking out. We always come back too, since Paragon and MBK are so close. So we visit this one as well.
Alex H — Google review
A super huge mall with plenty of shopping 🛍 and F&B. It's also convenient to get here since it's near the BTS station. I came here 3 consecutive days to get food & desserts. Loads of great foid here. The shopping brands are also more down to earth. Not just caters for the rich.
Cher O — Google review
This place is gigantic and has everything you could want, went looking for some designer sunglasses and jeans. Everyone was helpful and I didnt have any issues communicating in English. I had a burger at the shake shack, delicious not too expensive, well run and clean establishment 👍 you could easily spend days shopping here before seeing everything
Faded J — Google review
Great Place for shopping. Almost every brand is here in Bangkok centralwOrld. Too big to roam around. Have a ice skating on top floor with playing area and gaming zone. Prayer rooms are also here. Food centre below the mall and on the level 3 also.
Farhan G — Google review
CentralWorld in Bangkok is a shopper's paradise! This massive mall has everything you could possibly want, from high-end brands to local finds. I was blown away by the variety of stores and the modern architecture. It's easy to spend hours wandering around. Plus, there are tons of restaurants and cafes to keep you fueled up. If you're looking for a one-stop shopping and entertainment destination in Bangkok, CentralWorld is a must-visit!"

Shopping mall
Shopping
The Platinum Fashion Mall is a popular multilevel shopping center located in Bangkok, Thailand. Situated across the Pratunam Market area, it offers a wide range of fashion styles and products, from Thai designer collections to international trends. With over 1,300 shops spread across four floors, this six-story complex is known for its wholesale and retail fashion clothing and accessories. Visitors can also enjoy the food court while exploring the mall's offerings.
Paradise for shopping lovers. The mall is very used and it will take around two days to cover it completely. But the collection is very nice. You will get all the trendy outfits here, but I would not say that the price is very cheap. It is just that you had a good collection at a good price here. It is at a very accessible area and you can just walk around and shop. There are also options to eat so that you don’t get tired in between your shopping. Just remember you can Bargain so be ready to negotiate for your shopkeepers
Pallavi C — Google review
Platinum Fashion Mall is one of the popular shopping spots in Bangkok, especially known for fashion and clothing items. However, I found the overall experience a bit disappointing. First of all, the place is extremely crowded, especially during weekends and holidays. It’s difficult to move around freely, and some areas feel a bit too packed, which can be overwhelming and tiring. While the mall is often advertised as a wholesale market, the prices are actually quite expensive compared to other wholesale areas like Pratunam Market or even some Chatuchak sections. Many shops have a minimum purchase requirement for wholesale prices, but even then, the discount is not very significant. So if you're looking for real wholesale deals or affordable shopping, this might not be the best option. Another thing to mention is the lack of halal food choices. For Muslim visitors, the mall only has two small halal restaurants, which is very limited considering how big the mall is. It would be great if there were more variety and larger halal food options to make it more inclusive for all shoppers. Also, the location isn’t very convenient if you're relying on public transport. It's not directly connected to the BTS Green Line, and you need to walk a considerable distance or transfer to reach it, which can be uncomfortable in Bangkok’s hot weather. Overall, while there are many shops and styles available, the experience was not as convenient or affordable as expected.
Hushang J — Google review
I recently visited Platinum Mall in Bangkok during my trip, and I can truly say it is the ultimate shopping destination in the city. The mall is spread across multiple floors, each filled with countless shops offering an incredible variety of clothing, accessories, souvenirs, and more making it a true paradise for shoppers. What I really appreciated was the convenience of having everything under one roof. From shopping to food courts with plenty of dining options, and even facilities like money exchange counters, it’s designed to make the experience easy and enjoyable for tourists. If you get tired, there are places to sit and relax before continuing your shopping journey. Overall, my visit was absolutely worth it, and I highly recommend Platinum Mall to anyone traveling to Bangkok who wants a one-stop place for shopping, food, and convenience.
Suraj S — Google review
Shopper's paradise! You'll get everything here. Can haggle. Quality is good for the price but varies from shop to shop. Food court serves great food, desserts. Be ready to spent atleast half a day. Right across the road there's krungthong Plaza for plus sized clothing which is less crowded but really good. The Everything 20 store didn't impress me much, though. Kookkaai shop in second floor (Oxford) has gorgeous long dresses in rayon cotton material around 500 THB each Food court is nice with good variety and sufficient cleanliness.
Leotales N — Google review
Platinum Fashion Mall is too much crowded place. Foreigners come here for all types of shopping. Biggest fashion mall or clothing market in bangkok. must need a staller if you have a baby. Too much to walk. Prices can bargain if you want too. Clothing quality is good. Can find out all brands first copy here.
Farhan G — Google review
Great place Mostly nonveg eatries Quality of the clothes here if good for the Price. Buyer 2 half shirts each 450 bhat from here their colour didn't faded even after a 1 year with machine wash. Electronics is cheap and reliable.
Akshendra S — Google review
Bought some men's shirt at level 2. Really good quality and price. This place is very nice to shop for clothings for the past few decades but now with the online thingy, things has slowed down here and many old shops is no longer around. Still it's good place to shop cheap fashionable items, awesome and cheap food court at level 6. Long term bazaar outside the building too and the legendary Superrich money changer is at the corner outside the building just in front of the fourface Buddha.
Asia A — Google review
Massive mall, plenty of clothes choices accessories and prices acceptable with possibility of bargaining, must visit, wholesale market! Outside the mall is full of benches with lots of kinds of food and beverages

Chicken restaurant
Restaurant
Kuang Heng Pratu Nam Chicken Rice is a popular spot in Bangkok known for its delicious Hainanese chicken rice, often considered a rival to another famous chicken eatery in the area. The menu includes fried chicken and rice, fish noodle soup with tom yum flavor, and pork satay. While the service may be challenging due to language barriers, the food is described as cheap, tasty, and filling. Customers recommend trying the Thai tea along with the flavorful chicken rice dishes.
We came to this area for the famous Hainanese chicken rice but that famous place was just too crowded on the weekend so we came to this restaurant nearby. They also have rice, but they offer other food too. We ordered two chicken rice, 10 satay skewers, 5 pork and 5 chicken, and also a green tea latte with grass jelly. The chicken rice is similar to that famous one as the most important thing is the spicy soy sauce that they provide. The pork skewers were better than the chicken ones. The milk tea was so good, too. We had a very satisfying meal here, and the total was just a bit more than 200 baht.
Nora M — Google review
This was our second visit to Kuang Heng Chicken Rice in Pratunam. While the staff aren’t particularly friendly, they’re still decent—and we keep coming back because we genuinely enjoy the food. The steamed buns could’ve been better—they weren’t warm—but everything else hit the spot. One small suggestion: it would be great if they offered the chicken satay in smaller portions, as 10 sticks is a bit much for just two people wanting it as a side dish.
Ferdiantono L — Google review
The food is really good here. Only thing is not pretty here so drop your food safety standards and just trust the process. There is no shop front and the back is open so there was a random cat walking through as it pleases. The odd bug flying around, basic English but you can get through with tourist number signing and pointing to pictures. We ordered the satay, finished and ordered it again because it was so good and wasn't enough. I loved them flat noodles with fish balls
Lai L — Google review
Walked by and was really hungry haha. Ordered the steam and fried chicken. Taste was okay, nothing really stood out. Rice was lacking a chicken rice taste, the steam chicken was tender and fried chicken didn’t have an oily taste which is good. They gave sweet chilli and spicy chilli, which added taste when paired with the rice and chicken. Also ordered bittergourd soup with pork ribs, was really nice and tasty and is good for a rainy day. Price point wasn’t expensive Overall was good!
Jeremiah S — Google review
Not as crowded as the nearby competitor, so to me the atmosphere is more comfortable and better. I feel the service is good, couples young staffs standby, the young lady one was so attentive, humble and friendly to me. I amazed of how many menu option here. Instead of their signature Hainanese chicken rice, you also can find noodles, fish maw, satay and even Hainanese style breakfast meals and snacks. Tastewise, I loved their boiled chicken rice. The rice is tasty and fragrant while the chicken itself is soft and tender. The dipping sauce is superb! Don't forget to order their bitter gourd pork rib soup too, perfect. The soup is fresh and tasty. Obviously cooked for a long time to get the softness of the gourd. Tried their pork satay also, no complaint at all, tender meat, not burnt and well done grilled. The sweetness of the peanut sauce is boosting the taste. Overall, satisfactory. Highly recommended.
Rbw D — Google review
Delicious chicken rice! I tried the mixed version with both fired and cooked chicken. I preferred the fried one as it was flavour, crispy, fresh and the sweet chilli sauce was just divine. Nonetheless the cooked one was equally nice (in my opinion it matched the quality of the Michelin recommended neighbours.) It’s a perfect place for a quick satisfying meal.
Oliwia W — Google review
The staff were nice and the food was very affordable and decent. The hainanese chicken was great with the sauce provided as well as the chicken satay. The drinks were quite refreshing too!
Alexa D — Google review
My food came swiftly and quickly and everything was served within 10 minutes. The coffee was too dark for my liking, the chicken rice was nothing special but the deep fried chicken was good while the white chocolate was mediocre. The Chocolate butter bread with banana was really good, a generous amount of chocolate sauce was given. It was also affordable. They also have many unique spreads you could buy as souvenirs. Overall, good experience, 4 stars.

Thai restaurant
Paste Bangkok, a renowned restaurant in the Thai culinary scene, offers a unique dining experience with its royal and creative Thai cuisine. Led by chef couple Jason Bailey and Bee Satongun, the establishment showcases authentic high-end Thai dining that has earned them a Michelin star. With a focus on original flavors and textures, the menu features innovative dishes based on recipes from 1870-1930.
Paste is hands down one of the most mind-blowing and awe-inspiring restaurants I’ve ever had the pleasure of visiting. From start to finish, every aspect of the experience was nothing short of spectacular. The chef’s ability to craft dishes with such unique, bold flavors that still complement each other perfectly is truly impressive. It’s no wonder the reservation process is a challenge—this restaurant has earned its stellar reputation in the culinary world. I highly recommend trying just about everything on the menu—seriously, you can’t go wrong. From the appetizers to the entrees and even the desserts, each dish is not only a visual masterpiece but also a delight to the taste buds. The quality of the food is matched only by the exceptional customer service, which makes for a truly unforgettable dining experience. If you haven’t been to Paste yet, what are you waiting for? We left completely in awe and I honestly can’t recommend this place enough. It’s the kind of place where both the food and the service are so perfectly in sync, it’ll leave you wondering how they manage to pull it off. Definitely worth every baht.
Belle Z — Google review
Every now and then we all need to experience something unique like a tasting menu. Paste has a very nice posh atmosphere and the outdoor view at night is really amazing. The service is great. The staff was always very attentive, took the time to explain each dish, answered any of my questions, and was very friendly. The food was great and very satisfying. What I really enjoyed is how every dish is unique, but you can tell how each dish is built on the foundation of traditional Thai cuisine. A very unique and enjoyable experience.
Mario L — Google review
The service stood out the most at Paste. From the very beginning we had the most attentive service from our waiters. I really enjoyed our dining experience. We were offered complementary starters and dessert from the chef which felt very special. We ordered the beef Hang Lay curry and crab omelet. The beef was falling apart to perfection. I enjoyed the crab omelet but I would not order it again. I also love how private our booth was, it felt like we were dining completely alone.
Innika Z — Google review
What a beautiful and stunning restaurant. They even had a little stool for my bag to sit on, which I thought was a cute touch. We had a group of 4 and did the tasting menu with the lobster add-on. Definitely worth the money for the whole experience. It ended up being about $200 USD/person, which isn't cheap for Thailand, but compared to most Michelin experiences you could get in the States, it's considerably affordable, especially when you consider all the food and drink we ended up having. I loved the inventive takes on Thai dishes in small bites and the different textures. Also appreciated that the menu revolved around rice. Everything was delicious to me, personally. I know there were some textures my friend wasn't a fan of, but the flavors still delivered. The drinks were just as great as the food. I had THE BEST mocktail ever here – The Emerald – which has pandan, Asian citron, lime juice, and ginger ale. I loved it so much that I have my bartender husband recreate a close version for me frequently back at home lol!
Kayla H — Google review
BEST THAI FOOD!!! If you happen to be in Bangkok, this is a MUST try We love the innovative and creative food prepared by chef Bee Satongun. All dishes are beautiful displayed and delicious.
Wai C — Google review
I can't stop thinking about this dinner. Every dish was exquisite! My favourite was the one with the purple flowers (can't remember name). We all left the restaurant feeling full and satisfied. The food was obviously fantastic, but I'd love to point out how amazing, professional and caring the staff are, especially Om - thanks for making this night super special.
Sayalee R — Google review
Although this establishment intimidates the casual diner, I encourage those with the fine taste and generous budgets to enjoy a unique diner at Paste. This restaurant showcases professional table waiting and beautiful presentation. The dishes are unique and you’ll have fun trying the appetizers and cocktails.

Thai restaurant
Sra Bua by Kiin Kiin, situated in the Siam Kempinski Hotel, is a sophisticated Thai restaurant renowned for its use of fresh and homemade ingredients. The kitchen's commitment to crafting everything from scratch, such as fish sauce and prawn crackers, reflects its dedication to quality. Founded by Henrik Yde-Andersen, whose Copenhagen-based restaurant Kiin Kiin has consistently earned a Michelin star, Sra Bua offers an innovative take on modern Thai cuisine.
My partner and I had a wonderful dinner here. We really enjoyed the restaurant's atmosphere. The food is fantastic and full of creativity, which brought lots of joyful moments to us. They even guided us to the kitchen back of the house to fully appreciate how their cuisine is made. Thanks for the Peachy service. It was one of the most memorable nights in Bangkok. Highly recommended!
Nien-Heng Y — Google review
The decoration looks great but the food and service quality undermined the whole experience. Too many tables to serve resulting in staff rushing to present the dishes. Felt more like a mass production line rather than a relaxing fine dining experience. Though the food looks interesting as a concept, the sequence and combination of format of the dishes didn’t meet expectations, especially the taste that did not really complement one another. Still I appreciate that they made it an interactive experience with magic tricks and more, but the quality and value for money was underwhelming.

Absolutely amazing! It deserves more than just 1 Michelin-star. Beautiful, tasty, surprising, innovative cuisine. It's my second time here and not only I was not dissapointed, but it was even slightly better than last time. Thanks to Pompimol and all the super friendly and professional staff members!!! Highly recommended.

Such great Thai experience! First of all the interior and space, high ceilings, water, beautiful furniture and colours. This is a cozy luxury Thai dining experience. Two chefs, Michelin-starred Chef Henrik Yde-Andersen and Resident Thai Head Chef Berm Chayawee and their team has created menus that makes you leave with a smile on your lips. Their current ”Whispers of the Land” menu focuses on local ingredients from different parts of Thailand. Everything came with a story from the very attentive waiters.

My must-go restaurant every time I am in Bangkok, for excellent food and impeccable service! Particularly enjoyed the beef with house-made curry sauce and fragrant baked jasmine rice. Highly recommend this restaurant to all. Thank you Jimmy for taking such wonderful care of us - your warmth and sincerity make our dining experience a 5* one :)

One of the most memorable meals of our life. A big thank you to the Sra Bua team, the service team and everyone behind the team that contributed to such a wonderful, thoughtful lunch. A big thank you to khun Bas for his care and detailed explanations of each item in English and Thai. Between the tour of the kitchen, and of many of the locally sourced ingredients, we not only loved our food, but were able to appreciate the work and craft of each ingredient and where it came from in Thailand. Being here for almost 20 years, it is rare to be this pleasantly surprised by a meal and one of the rare times I can say, it was more than worth it. We will definitely go back again and it was so nice to see pride and care in each dish as well as appreciation for the talent of the Thai farmers and producers here. Lastly... thai wasabi is a must try.
