A very nice pub in the middle of the city. The portions are pretty big and that's nice. The old traditional pub where you can look at the Gaelic soccer on tv or listen to music during the night live. The meal are good and the service fast enough to enjoy the night there.

Yesterday been 5th of September 2025 was my birthday and I decided to treat myself. I found this place close to where I was. I had beef lasagna with inclusive fries, side salad and garlic toasted bread for €21, and a glass of wine for €7 euro. The food was so nice, so I empty my plate🤭here comes the nice part:” I told the waitress to write “Happy Birthday on my Dessert cheesecake” she happily did and I ended up getting the dessert for free. And this should have cost me almost €9. I can’t be thankful enough. Thank you so much team for the hospitality and live music. Together you made my day a magic. And the waitress that worked that evening, I don’t know your name but I promised to give you 5stars over here. You were so nice, always smiling and your patience level is topnotch👌Thank you so much and God bless you all🙏

If you want to enjoy a decent Irish pub when travelling to Tralee, this is a place to certainly come! Had lunch there and the food was great, nice selection of stuff to choose from.

Very slow service. We sat for a while before our drink order was taken. We chose the fish and chips. Not a good choice. The fish was old and mushy. When we were asked how everything was we said the fish tasted very fishy, mushy and old. He said it tastes fishy because it is fish…. He checked with the kitchen and when we came back out he said, it was just a cheap piece of fish and asked if we would like another piece. We declined. The side salad and the atmosphere were good.

Went on a recommendation from the bartender at Ballyseede Castle. Great choice! I had the special, roasted lamb w onion rings and others had filet and fish and chips! Everything was delicious and it waiter was perfect. Very polite, engaging, and funny! Plenty of beverage options, suggest you visit for yourself. You won't be disappointed. Oh, we called 15 min before arriving and they had a table waiting for us! Perfect!

The food definitely exceeded our expectations, in quantity and quality. The pictures are a testimony. My warm goat cheese and beetroot salad had a generous amount of cheese and nuts. The service was quite efficient, and our young server was knowledgeable (about the food and wine list) and professional. Only complaint: we were forgotten for a long time after we had finished eating. After about 30 minutes, we walked up front and asked a different server to summon our server. Despite a busy dining room, the toilet room was sparkling clean. I take that as a sign that the employees care about details.

Visited here several times during my stay in Tralee. The staff are all incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food is good. I tried the Cajun chicken lunch sandwich, posh parmesan fries and yummy full Irish breakfast a few times. Highly recommend the yummy full Irish breakfast.

They have only a few vegan options but they are really nice. Had the vegan hash and vegan raspberry crumble for breakfast, can highly recommend 🙂

Such a nice restaurant that is made even better by the kind staff! We were offered blankets and different tables several times to avoid the rain and they really made every effort to make sure we enjoyed our time there. The food was also delicious and inexpensive!

The falafel wrap was good, but it was €8.50. You don’t even get chips or crisps. I hate when places mark up vegan options especially because the protein in them is so much less expensive than meat. Make the wrap bigger or give us some chips!

Fantastic Museum. On the top floor we were able to discover the history of Ireland and Kerry beginning with the stone age all the way to Ireland becoming a Republic. Lots of facts and interesting artifacts on display and life size models of different characters throughout history. There's a room dedicated to the famous explorer Tom Crean. In the basement there's a fantastic medieval town where you can walk through and there's models and buildings etc, sounds and smells of medieval Tralee town. There was originally a car on a track that would take you around but its long gone, I remember visiting it as a child , you can even see the old track marks on the ground, which I found nostalgic. The staff were very friendly and informative and we were made feel very welcome. It was a really nice experience. We spent over 90 min inside as there was so much to take in.

Great way to spend a good 2 hours in Tralee and learn about the local history of the city. Its only a 5EUR (£4.60p) entry and has a really amazing Medieval Village display in the basement which was awesome to look around! There is also a temporary exhibit that updates every few months, and they were preparing an exhibit on ballgowns when I was there, but it was closed as it was not ready.

Great, affordable, educational fun!! I love this place so much!!! I had a medieval wedding last year and I took my photos here. I can't find my original review but it's worth saying it again. This place is great!! There's loads to see. There's lots of genuine artifacts and the space is very cleverly laid out. It takes you on a journey back in time through local history. So naturally a great place for students or any history buffs. There's so much attention to detail. When I was there, there was a lady in authentic medieval dress. Who I think can make trips out to schools to educate students about history. They even supply tunics for kids to fit in with the time period. The highlight for me is the bottom floor. It's a replica medieval town. It's incredibly well done. All my wedding photos look like some sort of fantasy film! So I cannot recommend this place more. There's something for everyone!! You don't have to be super into history. The staff are lovely and it's a great place to look around and get some really cool photos!! Especially now coming up to Halloween.

My husband had a hospital appointment so me and my 15yr old son was looking for something to do so we found this museum and it was very interesting and wasn't expensive if your ever near there would be worth going into see it 🙂

Part of the museum was closed for refurbishment, and that's no bad thing. The pre-1900 sections are a bit dated, while the 1916 period section that focuses on Roger Casement was very good, despite some grammatical mistakes in the information panels (spelling incorrectly the name of one of the Proclamation signatories is/was unforgivable). Hopefully interactive technology will play more of a part in the future. A room focusing on the GAA in Kerry would be a good addition (in my humble opinion).

As an overgrown child, I loved the medieval exhibition experience it’s super immersive, as someone who wanted to experience something like this, 20/10 would recommend. Be warned the figures are a bit creepy

Family visit to see "The Clockmaker's Daughter".. it was absolutely fantastic! Yet another great trip to Siamsa. Can't wait for the Panto season.

We were at the children's play Aladdin, the impressions were very mixed. The main character, Kai's wife, was played by a man. The child asked for two days why the man put on lipstick and a bra. I didn't even know what to answer. Didn't the theater really have a woman for this role? The actor is great, but this is inappropriate for a children's play. And the second time they doused me with water pistols so much that my daughter burst into tears from insult. Why they doused me so much is also unclear. We didn't come to a water park. In general, the theater is good, but it's too much for children

Excellent venue, very chatty and helpful staff, and a brilliant venue. Great for the audience and the performers alike. They also support Irish music and Irish creatives- it’s a great spot and a huge amenity for the town of Tralee.

Went to see the phantom of the opera opening night. It was a good show, the microphones kept cutting out and the phantom nearly dropped Christine so a bit awkward but apart from that they put on a very good show. Amazing singers. A little humour added to the overall enjoyment of the show. A very nice evening drinks before the show made it even better.

Every Friday you can watch greyhound racing here. This is an exciting event if you take part in it by placing bets. On the second floor of the building there is a restaurant where you can sit and watch the races, enjoy a delicious menu and place bets.

A great evening/night out 🐶 Always visit the Kingdom Greyhound Stadium later in the year (September-December). Food is always top class and you can have a drink while eating and watching the dogs 🐕. Some times people get lucky and win big money when they bet on the dogs but it’s quite fun to bet on a few 😂 Highly recommend everyone to visit 👍🏻

Hard the healthy breakfast, which is served until 3.00 pm, what a good idea that is. Very happy with the food, service, and the other clientele who were respectable and eating with due decorum and reasonably modulated conversation. I have eaten here before, and if anything I would say it has not only maintained their high standards, with little noticeable things like piping hot tea brought out in non leaky tea pots... I would highly recommend this restaurant, it is quite possibly the best food option in central Tralee.

Ordered a full irish breakfast and was impressed, large amount of food and good quality ingredients. The menu has a good selection of food and drink etc while maintaining a child friendly environment. The restaurant lacked in cleanliness, the seats had food swiped onto them from staff. Overall id reccomend but the cleaning situation needs to be improved however could have been a busy time for them.

A bit disappointed, food was fine, tasty but nothing really any different from a run of the mill Cafe. I got poached eggs and toast, toast was from a square sliced pan like Brennans or something. It did come with a side salad if youre into that sort of thing. Maybe they do more with other menu items to earn five stars, but i guess poached eggs and sliced pan is poached eggs and sliced pan wherever you go. Coffee was good.

I was very pleasantly surprised when I popped in today for a quick bite. It's often full when I'm in the area, and now I know why. I was served a fine sandwich which I demolished quite quickly, as it tasted delicious and I was actually quite hungry. Well worth a visit, if you can get a table!

Sharing platter was incredible, lovely environment. Be mindful kitchen closes at 3pm, but maybe the best breakfast/brunch spot in Tralee.

Always look forward to a pint in the Cearnóg when I visit Tralee. It has dim lighting levels which helps contribute to a relaxing atmosphere and very friendly staff and customers. And of course a great pint!

We visited Bella Bia last night with three friends to celebrate our lovely friend who is expecting, and we couldn’t have chosen a better place. The food was absolutely outstanding. The service was attentive without ever feeling rushed, and every member of staff went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. On top of all that, the prices were very reasonable for the quality and portion sizes, truly great value for money. We left feeling full, happy, and already talking about when we can come back. Highly recommend Bella Bia for anyone looking for fantastic food, wonderful service, and a place that makes your celebration feel truly special!

My brother and his wife brought me and my wife there for an evening meal. It's been their go to for family celebrations for many years. We were not disappointed. The choice is great and the food we ordered was fantastic. Highly recommended.

Complete lack of any vegetarian options sadly - as with most parties we had several in our group and the menu is very disappointing. Not even 1 pasta/ main option is without meat. Bit stuck in the past and basic attitude to food sadly. Lovely service though. Please update the menu

We were very fortunate to have chosen this little gem as our place to dine Monday night. Drawn by it’s pretty and welcoming exterior we were then blown away by the food and the service we received inside . A truly brilliant experience, especially since it was our first indoor dining experience in a very long time. I had an Fantastic Experience in The Shack this week one for the family, bar one little mix up with our order the staff went above and beyond to sort us out especially Alanna , very hardworking and professional. We ordered some burgers which were Smashing and great value, I ordered a Taco Chip, which was fantastic lovely kick off it and plenty I'm the portion. It's my new favourite place in Tralee and will be back

The food here is really delicious, at least when eating in, it's just sometimes service is hit and miss in terms of forgetting stuff or mixing orders. They're very nice staff though, so they'll help you with no issue but it's the only downside here.

Ordered and paid for food for my child party a week in advance and also organised time for food to be delivered, day of party food was 20mins late so decided to ring up and was told they forgot to look at there book and food wasn’t even cooked, food ended up being 50mins late.

Great for Kids, but Overcrowded Our little girl had a wonderful time here, and in the end, that’s what really matters. The sauna area was absolutely fantastic and a real highlight. However, the overall space is quite small, and they allow far too many visitors per day, which does take away from the experience. An online booking system could easily solve this. The place clearly takes inspiration from Eastern European bathhouses, and the water temperature was perfect. That said, the crowds meant long waits for the slide. Cleanliness was generally fine. The snack bar staff were very friendly, but the food itself was the typical overpriced frozen pizza. Another small inconvenience was having to leave the pool area to reach the snack bar, as there’s no direct access. Overall, it’s a great spot for kids to enjoy a fun day, but due to its size and high number of visitors, you need to keep a close eye on them, as accidents could easily happen in the crowd.

Nice place to relax with kids, wasn't very busy anytime we were there. Beside the pool there are few different saunas plus cold pool to dip in after sauna. Easy drive from Ennis/Limerick or Cork. All day adult ticket cost 18 euros, family discounts available.

Really loved this place. There are four different types of saunas. You can also get a six-month membership — very good family prices. That’s what we’re planning to do next. The pools are great, and it’s an excellent place for families with kids as well as for couples. We liked everything.

Good entertainment for our kids. The Vitality Spa is adult only, which is great. We had bought tickets upfront, but we still needed to wait in the regular queue. Long waiting times for slides.

Aqua Dome Tralee: A Chilly Trip Down Memory Lane 🥶 Visited today—it's still stuck in 2015s. One tiny slide, 15-minute wait in Arctic air. Pool so cold I was grateful for my shortie wetsuit yes! I remembered it used to be freezing out there!. Showers: lukewarm roulette wait time 10 min. Lockers a complete joke you hardly can fit one bag into it. Drying area: chaos. Hand dryers mounted like booby traps—kids nearly scalped. Everyone huddled around one socket like it’s the last campfire on Earth. Only win? The rapid river and wave pool—kids loved it. But honestly, unless you're a penguin or a socket-hunting parent, there's not much to stay for. Verdict: Time to defrost and invest.

The pool activities are good, but they are designed only for children. Although 90% of the clients come with kids, there are only four family changing rooms. The washing areas are also very small, making it practically impossible to wash a child.

Nostalgia overload! The Aqua Dome is just how I remembered as a kid. Very surreal to bring my own children back now! They loved it. They (2 yr old and 3 year old) especially liked the waves in the pool and the lazy river too. We stayed for about an hour and a half. The only thing that loses the star is the changing facilities are absolutely tiny. I'd knock a divider every second one to double them in size but they would still be small. Very tough to dry and dress kids. Next to impossible to be fair. Anyway, food was great. Very simple stuff. Pizza and chips, sausages and chips, etc. Reasonably priced also. Happy enough.

Great for picnics and kicking a ball around with the younger kids. Climbing wall and observation tower were closed. Nice birdlife.

Excellent example of what a community park should be. Something for everyone and age. Peaceful walking trails around pond and wetlands, quiet and natural. Playground for toddlers, climbing tower, eco day camps for kids. Tower with elevator and stairs gives you an amazing view of the area. Cafe with lunch, drinks and treats.

Love going here for a nice stroll and for a morning coffee, just a nice relaxing place and not too busy.

I enjoy coming here as an adult, getting a coffee and be immersed in nature, looking at the swans or just reading a book. Sometimes, it’s very noisy if there’s a child’s party going on… but apart from that, lovely coffee and treats, staff are good too and clean bathrooms. My family and I had a wonderful time at the Tralee Bay wetlands. My five year old loved the Zorbing, my 2 year old loved the toddler playground and walking around the lakes, and we all loved the Eco tour boat experience, it was relaxing - we were delighted to see baby ducks and the view from the tower was spectacular. A notable mention and big thanks to Jodie on reception, and the cafe staff; they supported, cared and went above and beyond when we had a scare with our little one.

Lovely spot. We attended the Halloween Activities in October 23 & were here again for Easter 24. The facilities are lovely. Staff are so friendly, informative and helpful. Very positive and chatty too. We will be back - thank you.

It’s being my second time in this place. They make a beautiful sandwich. So fresh and tasty. So relaxing and staff so friendly. Someone recommended this place to me and so reasonable. I would be going there again. Fabulous spot.

We went in here after a Kerry Dublin GAA match. Place was jammed, we eventually found seats at the bar and had great craic. The locals were gracious in defeat (we are Dubs )and we had good chats about the match with no animosity at all. Everyone was friendly, staff were great joining in with the craic as well. Carz loved the pint of Coors and I settled on a local Cider which was really good.

Great time in Paddy Mac's, the Guinness was flowing, never mind delicious. Bar staff were on the ball regarding when you needed a top-up! Definitely give it a go lads, it's a great wee cosy Irish bar.

Unfortunately the place was very dirty, it smelled really bad, glasses were not washed properly, they were sticky with spots on them, a menu was stained. Staff members were trying their best… It was hard to force ourselves to eat, we barely touched our meals. It was our second time in this cafe, first time it was pretty much the same but a little bit cleaner.

Just back from The west of Ireland. Staying in Dingle, Arrived in SNN airport 6:00 am got rental heading to dingle. About 2 hrs later we are in Tralee it's Friday morning, walking around great city.i ask a few people wheres a good place to have breakfast.They all said WILD CAFE. My wife and I go in had a great breakfast & coffee. Great location!

Ordered "Freshly made scones" from their menu for the two kids. Scones that arrived were far from fresh but were also fruit scones (which the kids didn't want!). Said it to the teenage waitress and she immediately went into defence mode and offered no alternative. Just no real customer service about the place and the food was midlin. Even as we were leaving, there was no "was everything okay for you..." just pay up and bye!.

Was told to sit upstairs, then was ignored. 3 other tables were sat after us and given menus. We were then asked if we wanted a menu. Ordered scrambled egg, bacon on toast, an orange juice and a water. No offer to choose brown or white toast. Brown came. Orange juice came but no water. Waitress stood beside me not knowing where the food was going. Eventually asked who ordered it. Toast came without butter. Was not offered salt or condiments. "Scrambled egg" is just a undercooked chopped omelette Bacon fatty. Barely ate any. Then 4 staff members stood there for dar too long as we tried to pay. Plenty of other places on the same street do breakfast but as it was 11:30 our choices were limited. Avoid this place if possible.

I'd made a review of here in past and gave it 5 ***** ... However last two times... Place was not clean, menu stained and not nice vibe. Pity as food still good but breakfast is experience and management of the place is wanting..

Fantastic service, coffee and treats! I ordered three flat whites with oatmilk, and all three drinks reported back that they were delicious. My wife said that they could compete with any coffee shop in Vancouver. I had their cappuccino and banana walnut cake, and loved them too!!!!

This coffee shop is fantastic! The friendly and skilled staff clearly love what they do, and it shows in the quality of their coffee. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, making it a great spot to relax. Highly recommend!

Just love this place! I get a coffee before my walk with friends, the coffee is always good and they have delicious treats especially their cacao and orange protein ball. Perfect place to grab and go aswell!

Parkgate is a great place to go for your Coffee and get a treat for yourself. The coffee is absolutely amazing be it in your own cup or one from the shop itself. Staff are always helpful, friendly and a pleasure to talk to. Even better the owner Jack allows you to bring your dog into the shop and he always gives your pup a doggie treat. Best coffee in town with a brilliant team who believe in quality service. Thanks to Jack and team.
