Canakkale in 3 days

If you only have 3 days to spend in Canakkale, we’ve narrowed down the top places you should check out to get the best experience of your time here.
Çanakkale appeals to history enthusiasts with its proximity to the World War I Gallipoli battlefields and the ancient city of Troy, both major sites of global heritage. The city’s waterfront promenade, views over the Dardanelles Strait, and lively café scene give it a relaxed, coastal atmosphere. Museums such as the Troy Museum and the Çanakkale Naval Museum provide context for the region’s archaeological and military past. It also serves as a convenient base for exploring nearby Aegean islands and lesser-known ancient sites across the province.
With favorites like Cafe 25 Metrekare, Çanakkale Saat Kulesi, and Seddülbahir Fortress, we’ll make sure you don’t miss out on all the must sees. We even included some of our favorite food spots around the area, like ŞAYKA BALIK & ET RESTAURANT and Aqua Mutfak so you can get the best taste of Canakkale while you’re here. To see our full list of food recommendations, check out our best restaurants post. If you're traveling on a budget, you can check out our cheap eats post.

The Ancient City of Troy is a significant historical site, known for its scattered stone ruins and a replica Trojan horse. It offers visitors an immersive experience, complete with informative displays that provide insight into the city's history and period. The surroundings are tranquil, with cheerful birdsong and playful squirrels adding to the ambiance. The ancient stones that make up the ruins are an impressive sight and should not be missed by anyone in the area.
Modern museum well worth visiting to understand context of history, archeology, and many artefacts (others in Istanbul museum). Site itself has well signed walkways and information boards, though hard to grasp the differing levels and which parts were extant together - so second visit to museum would be good if with own transport. Site has cafe, but take water and hat for open walks. Good view of coast which has receded significantly since city founded.

This UNESCO world heritage archaeological site is open to public and is setting for Greek mythology of the Trojan war. Excavation started in 1871 and you can see lot of ruins. If lucky you can see archaeological work in progress at sections of the site. Boardwalk access everywhere so makes walking easier but you need hat, sunscreen and comfy walk shoes. Have to pay fee to enter. At entrance there is replica of Trojan Horse. Local village goat seen wandering about ruins
S V — Google review
Little remains of the actual buildings, but the historical and cultural significance of the location as well as the events that took place around it make up for the lack of structural integrity. Perhaps the most impressive is the entrance ramp which has been preserved in astonishingly solid shape. Also, for this who read and adore the Illiad, one can literally sense the spirit of the ancient battles amidst the ruins. With a hit of imagination, you can picture Agamemnon's army spread out across the surrounding plain as they plan and wage the attack on Troy.
Muris D — Google review
I enjoyed Troy - but I only recommend going if you have an interest in the history and myths of Troy. The archaeological site itself is not the most impressive I’ve seen and it costs €27. It also does not take very long to explore. An hour is enough. For anyone trying to get the public mini bus there - as of writing this it goes from under the bridge if you search Troy Dolmus on google maps. It costs 100 lira and took about 45 minutes each way.
Martha M — Google review
It was an honour to visit such an agent and historic place of a people and culture from so long ago. I really wished there were more bi-lingual translations of the text surrounding the site. Also better sign posting as I’m more of a visual person it was hard to see which versions of the city were specific to the corners of the site that we walked. The Trojan horse it self looked very commercial and ‘overly designed’ considering it was placed in the enter square of the old city.
Trishoya G — Google review
Was quite cool. But… if you been to Roma. It’s a bit cliche. But this is 3000 BC. Still worth to go if you are not tired of 11+ hours same stay drive in the car. So simple high meat Shell gasoline test area foods. Not for foodies!
Derek S — Google review
Where myth whispers through the wind — Troy, the city of nine lives. Each layer beneath my feet tells a story: the earliest settlers of 3000 BCE, the rise and fall of kingdoms, the fire and rebuilding of Troy VI and VII, and finally, the Roman Troy IX in 1st century A.D., when the city was reborn in marble and empire’s glory. Here, time folds into legend — the same ground that stirred Homer’s imagination as he sang of Achilles’ rage, Hector’s courage, and the fate sealed by a wooden horse. The ruins stand silent, yet the echoes of the Iliad still ride the breeze from Çanakkale’s shores. It’s a humbling walk through millennia — from myth to memory, from poetry to stone. #Troy #Çanakkale #Homer #Iliad #AncientTroy #RomanTroy #HistoryAndMyth #TurkeyTravel

Another historical place in western Turkey. Walk through the ruins of this well known ancient city. You can barely imagine how it should have looked in the past times. In the far you can see the Dardanelles and can imagine the tale of Homers Iliad. Of course you will find the troyan horse. There is another horse in Canakkale, which is the original requisite from the movie 'Troy'.

The place is good, the staff is so friendly. But we faced a problem that the majority of the games just is opening afternoon. The bathrooms are not clean and the water was coming so slowly.

It is not big aquapark at all. My kids was 14 years old and they enjoyed for 2 hours. Most probably for small kids will be exciting. Staff is polite and helpful. On the bar TV they don't have Olympic games in the middle on Paris'2024 - strange.
Dimitar S — Google review
There are CAMERAS inside the changing rooms! There is a warning outside the door but I thought it was in the hall outside! What kind of a place puts CAMERAS in changing rooms?!!! Also the floor tiles in the changing rooms are extremely slippery. My 4 year old fell twice!!! Steps going up to the water slides are very dusty and there are even some stones on them. Looks like they have not been cleaned in a long time. On top of the orange slide, before going into the boat, my foot slipped and my heel hit a hole and I injured myself. I later realized it had been bleeding. Not a safe place for adults or kids.
Irmak G — Google review
A nice place, with very good facilities in terms of intense slides, if you’re into that sort of thing (I very much am). My one criticism would be the constant barrage of noise, be it music or from the DJ, who must have shouted “EGLENCE BASLIYOR!!” (and other similar things) about 50 times. Nevertheless, it’s worth visiting.

Beautiful well kept castle. We visited at the end of may and it was almost empty we had nearly the whole place to ourselves to explore. Beautiful views of the sea from parts of the castle. I would definitely recommend you to come visit this castle in this beautiful quaint village. 10/10

An impressive and recently renovated fort at the southern tip of the Gallipoli Peninsula which played an important role during the 1915 campaign by the Allies in WW1. Interesting small museum on the archaeological finds during the renovation of the site and renovations. Recommended visit, can be viewed in around 1 hour. Great to visit before or after the Helles Memorial nearby.

The castle was constructed in 1659 together with Kumkale located on the Asian side, to defend the entrance of the Dardanelles Strait. Then it was restored in recent years, it was my first visit after restoration. I am really impressed. It was a surprise to me since I was completely ignorant about the restoration. We were a bit tired and just passing by to have acupuncture of tea, when we realized the novelty. That's why we just had a quick look around. It definitely deserves more attention.

The Trojan Statue is a towering steel and fiberglass sculpture of the horse from Greek mythology, famously used in the 2004 movie 'Troy.' It was gifted to the city of Canakkale, located approximately 25 kilometers from the ancient city of Troy. Situated near the sea amidst numerous restaurants and cafes, it boasts a small open-air museum showcasing a model of ancient Troy.
Such a great history this place has. If you visit the city , don’t forget to swing by here. There is no parking nearby so you need to park the car and walk here.

A homage to the ancient city of Troy located not too far away. This statue is on the waterfront surrounded by shops, cafes and restaurants. It actually long more authentic than the Trojan Horse erected at the ancient site.

I visited the Trojan Horse statue with my tour group. It was nice to see the famous landmark up close, especially knowing it was used in the Troy movie. Its big and i dont know how was it used in the movie, it’s a great photo spot and a fun quick stop if you’re visiting with a group.

You should see it once. It's amazing. A big wooden horse for the movie. The view from there is next to the pier. It's soooooo beautiful.

Was a nice thing to see. It was donated to the city after the making of the movie Troy. Nothing to write home about though...
David C — Google review
A must-see for history buffs and movie lovers! This iconic statue brings to life the legendary tale of the Trojan Horse, a pivotal moment in Greek mythology. The scale of the statue is impressive, and it's a great photo opportunity. For those unfamiliar, the story goes: The Greeks, unable to conquer the fortified city of Troy through conventional means, devised a cunning plan. They built a giant wooden horse, supposedly an offering to the gods, and left it outside the city gates. Hidden within the horse were Greek soldiers who, under the cover of night, emerged and opened the gates for the Greek army, leading to the fall of Troy. This statue gained further fame after appearing in the 2004 movie "Troy," starring Brad Pitt. Even if you're not a history buff, the statue is a fascinating piece of art and a reminder of the enduring power of storytelling.

If you're looking for a delightful dining experience, look no further than Şayka Restaurant. This charming spot boasts a warm and inviting atmosphere, where the friendly staff truly make you feel at home. The seafood offerings are particularly noteworthy; the grilled fish is cooked to perfection, while the butter shrimp and calamari are absolute must-tries that will tantalize your taste buds. Although some meat dishes may not hit the mark as expected, overall, the menu showcases quality ingredients and flavors.
Nice place with friendly staff and good atmosphere, but, as mentioned before, it comes with a premium. We had the dishes in the pictures and two rakia glasses and we paid the equivalent of €110. The tip is included in the bill. We were not made aware, but discovered afterwards.

Had a seafood dinner at Canakele – really fresh and tasty! Check the price before ordering. The price is on the expensive side, so the value for money is not the best.Still, overall it was a nice experience. Tasty fish and calamari.Give it a try 😄

Wow! What amazing service!!! Ismail our dear sweet server and his friends took care of us like family. Delicious food but come for a nice evening and feel like you are home. Wish we had more time in Canakkale so we could come back!

NAME AND SHAME My husband is British and the itemised bill shows 100tl pp (kuvar: basically they’re charging you for bringing you some cutlery, napkins, chairs and whatever) plus 10% service charge. Look at the previous reviews, it never shows any of these. Common practice for some restaurants targeting non-Turkish customers. Shame on you. What they don’t understand is that I and my husband were planning to go there for the next 3 days because the view is good. Food is typical and overpriced, but cooked well which we can accept. We can’t accept these extra items on the bill. Not even sure if it’s legal when they’re not telling you in advance they will charge you for this - no signage and no info on the menu. For future non-Turkish customers: clear sign is no price for fish. We ate fish for dinner every single day on our trip and every single restaurant had the price on their menu. This restaurant when pushed kept saying they don’t know how heavy it’s gonna be. They could only give us the cost for the kilo. We didn’t raise this with the restaurant because it wasn’t worth arguing, but we do not appreciate the dishonesty and wanted inform others. Hopefully, the restaurant now understands these old discriminatory practices are easily exposed with evidence. If you want to, go there (There are so many other great restaurants on the same street.) but remember that you can refuse to pay those items. By law, they cannot force you to pay. Update: Following from the business owner’s response, everything said is a lie. The only thing we received was bread and tap water (which gave me diarrhoea after - apologies for being so open). No tea, no coffee, no fruits. We were told fish was 1725tl and the receipt says 1600tl, which further proves my point. We went to other restaurants around and no, they’re definitely not the cheapest. I’m not sure where they get their data from. The restaurant was empty for a reason.
Banu A — Google review
Delicious food, friendly staff, fast service! The fish was very well cooked, and I have no words for the octopus. Great panoramic view of the Dardanelles!
Margarita S — Google review
The restaurant is nice, and the staff are wonderful and friendly. The seafood is quite nice (especially the Butter Shrimps, this was a yummy!) also, their Calamari is delicious and very well-done. However, the only problems that we encountered was in the meat, some of us had Saç Kavarma, which was fine, and another had what was supposed to be a fillet steak (Bonfile), he ordered it to be medium done, but it turned well-done and tasteless. So, if you’re considering this place, make sure to have fish and seafood only and do NOT have any beef.
Dr. M — Google review
The location is good where near the seashore. The food was also delicious. Enjoying the time the sunset here with food and friends. But the service was not satisfactory.
SoYa T — Google review
A bit late review, but it must be done! What a crew! We had extremely much fun here, as the owners and staff (except the one older waiter who wasn’t more than a robot) have a good sense of humour, and you just need to allow yourself to be part of it and don’t be pretentious. We enjoyed very good food, fish (levrek) was grilled perfectly, meze was also of good class, beer and wine cold, and the bill was correct and shows the full order content, no tricks here. We came back the next evening for more, and boy did they prepare… I got a proper “embassy level” greeting; we’ll never forget this place. Next time in Çanakkale, we’ll eat here again.

While the prices may be slightly higher, the experience of dining next to the Bosphorus makes it worthwhile. The restaurant provides a view of the local harbor and serves delicious seafood dishes, although availability may vary. Tourist trap. Slow service, forgetting your order. Extremely overpriced 45 tl for 4 fried calamaris in the end you get charged 50 tl instead. 285 tl for 100ml yeni raki... what a joke. Careful, they also lie about the prices and speak zero english. Although u get charged 20 tl for their joke of a service. You leave this place broke, hungry and angry. Never again.

Fish oriented restaurant with a view on the local harbor. The food is good, and so is the service, but not all fish dishes are always available. Starters are quite cheap

(Translated by Google) The staff is indifferent, the food is delicious but unnecessarily expensive. If you want coffee after the meal, don't ask. The staff not only says it's their job but doesn't care and is really unpleasant. Instead of throwing away the bread that fell on the floor, they put it back on the table. I am very unhappy that I did not choose the fish restaurant 1-2 shops away instead of this place. (Original) Personel ilgisiz, yiyecekler lezzetli ancak gereksiz derecede pahalı. For day 2, we recommend exploring the north side side of town. Start the day off with 17 Burda AVM, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to Atatürk Evi. All together, your day would be filled with about 8 hours of non-stop fun.

Shopping mall
Shopping
A mall in the Canakkale region, actually between Canakkale and Kepez. From what I saw, they only have underground parking and it's a bit dark, but there are quite a few places. It is an open mall concept, with an inner courtyard with a pool of water, with enough shops for clothes, food, shoes, interior design, accessories, etc. I don't know why almost all fast food in the mall had a rather low rating, so we looked for another area to eat
Soe S — Google review
3 days way too long in Canakkale so we decided to go to the largest shopping centre in this city. Ambiance is great there are all the local shops inside. Average food court of carb overload. Starbucks is available also upstairs we discovered traditional tea coffee and sweets shop called “demlik” very nice I do suggest you give it a try. 200tl can ride from the clock tower so it’s not too far. Open air with a cute water feature in the middle of the shopping centre. It’s ok if your board nothing to do.

Military Museums
The Military Marine Museum is a vast indoor and outdoor venue that showcases historical sailing vessels, cannons, and other military artillery. The museum includes exhibits on the Canakkale war, Cimenlik Castle, and the Nusret Mine Ship. While admission for students is free, adults must pay 13 Liras to enter. Visitors can expect to spend around two hours exploring the fascinating displays inside the museum.
This afternoon we wandered around the city and visited Çimenlik Castle (built 1462). Over the centuries it has been one of two twin fortresses that protect the narrows of the Dardanelles. It was last used as a strategic defence position in WWI and is now a museum. It gave an account of WWI from the Turks perspective.
Norm P — Google review
The first thing to know about this museum is that the price at the gate is higher than what is posted on the official website. The website says that the entrance fee is 90 Turkish lira, but upon arrival we were informed that the price was 400 Turkish lira. We were told that we could only pay with a Turkish bank card or with cash. We were surprised and dismayed at the price difference between what was officially posted on the website and what the guards insisted that we pay at the gate. The next thing to know is that the bathroom is located outside of the museum near the cafe. There is no bathroom once you pass through the entry gates. This museum is comprised of both indoor and outdoor exhibits. You will be walking outside so plan to dress appropriately for the weather on the day of your visit. There are steps to navigate to get to the inside parts of the museum. We saw a couple struggling to get a baby stroller down the stone steps, which were uneven. This could be a difficult place to get through if you have physical mobility limitations or if you have a baby stroller. This was an interesting place to visit, but we left disappointed about the discrepancy in the listed entrance fee and what was posted on the official website. It felt like we did not get value for the money we paid.

Great place to visit in Çanakkale. The entrance fee is 400 TL for adults and 200 for students, but it's worth every penny. With the ticket you can visit both a medieval fortress, a submarine 😱, and a ship that was planting mines in WWI. Getting inside a real submarine is quite a rare experience and I enjoyed it thoroughly.
Serban V — Google review
What a perfect conservation of the history. Beautifle expositions and reallistic videos. Strongly recommend to visit this museum. It is full with history about the Ottoman empire and Turkiye Republic. It is a worth to visit it.

Excellent museum with a rich collection. Çimenlik Kalesi that hosts the museum is historically remarkable and impressive. The visit takes about 3 hours including the S338 submarine and Nusret minelayer.
Deniz S — Google review
Nice castle, surrounded by old armaments with a lot of history, specialty form the WW1 and the Galipoli battle, You can visita a first war germany submarine, and old ship and the museum itself, full of history about the important battle.
David G — Google review
The museum is inside the Ottoman castle, Çimenlik Kalesi, which used to be our destination to spend time by the seaside sitting on a bench in the good old days. Now you get access only by buying a ticket, which is sad. Yet inside the castle, they created a great atmosphere of memories of Canakkale Battle. Inside the castle, you may spend some relaxing time even though you don't like the war stuff, because the castle is really beautiful under the dim yellow light.
Elif S — Google review
We paid 200tl even with museum cards and residence permits. It worth it. It’s not only open air area, you also can go to the castle and learn about its history. However, it’s impossible to go to the top of the castle

Cimenlik Castle

Castle
Cimenlik Castle, located within the Canakkale Military Museum, was constructed in 1462 by Fatih Sultan Mehmet II to safeguard the Dardanelles. The castle features orderly displays of artillery used during World War I along its stone walls. It also houses a city built by Sultan Muhammad II in the mid-15th century and two mosques.
It was a unique experience with lots of history in it. I’ve spent than I expected while trying to read all information. I don’t think reading from internet would make me feel same. There are more than pictures over there. Also the souvenir shop is very cheap as it is foundation selling memory stuff without aiming profit. Worth to visit definitely, suggested 👍

War museum for the 1915 war - Ottoman Turkish empire against UK & France. Naval boat which you can enter and explore, Museum, and castle. No cameras allowed and I had to sign a form and place it in locker I. The admirals office before entering. I was told you can use your camera for extra fee or your mobile for free is ok. 50TL for locals or 100TL for tourists to enter. Very well set up and great history.

Built by Mehmed II and strengthened over hundreds of years, this fortress now holds a museum. There is a decent maritime museum showing a minelayer that thwarted the Allied warships, torpedoes, mines, many guns of different calibres, and even part of a submarine. Inside the keep is a detailed exhibition, as well as the famous bullets that struck each other mid-flight in the Gallipoli campaign.

The Atatürk Evi museum is a remarkable attraction. It was the residence where Ataturk stayed before relocating to his headquarters in Eceabat during World War I. The museum offers an array of fascinating information, exhibits, and educational materials that are truly impressive. Visitors can also view some personal belongings belonging to Ataturk himself.
Amazing museum. This is the house Atatürk spent a week before moving to his headquarters in Eceabat. Info, displays and educational material here were all amazing. You can also see a few of Atatürk’s personal belongings. You just go into the village, park at the center and walk the street with flags on each side. The display will give you the goosebumps. This museum is not to be missed while visiting Gallipoli.

(Translated by Google) The tour takes about 10 minutes. Entry is free. There are items belonging to Atatürk inside, making it a must-see for those curious. BUT I DEFINITELY DO NOT RECOMMEND THE SISTERS AND BROTHERS SELLING MAGNETS FROM THE GATE TO THE VILLAGE SQUARE. Because their stalls were all side by side, we thought they were at the other stall, so we asked for the price of an item from that stall. We wish we hadn't. If the other stallholder had come to their stall, we would have explained the situation, but unfortunately, they didn't. It's unbelievable. The item we asked about costs a maximum of 50-100 TL. They give such rude answers just to avoid making their next-door neighbors 50 TL, we were stunned and couldn't say anything. Nestled near the ancient ruins of Troja, Hayati Chef Balık Restaurant offers a delightful dining experience that stands out from typical tourist spots. With a menu featuring perfectly grilled sea bass and an array of fresh mezes, this eatery caters to seafood lovers and meat enthusiasts alike. Guests can enjoy generous portions while soaking in breathtaking sea views accompanied by live music, creating a vibrant atmosphere. The attentive staff, including English-speaking team members like Mr.
It was absolutely wonderful. We went there for Christmas and they gave us choices for tonight we ate sea bass for the main meal and some fresh meze's for starters the fish was perfectly cooked. You can also get meat, salad, lobster, shrimp for a nice dinner. The portions are good. I had a great time because they were also live music and a great sea view. This unlike all the tourist trap restaurants and the prices were normal. The workers were so kind and helpful. Our friends had lobster and octopus I will share them bellow.

I went with family and friends to this restaurant in this beautiful city and ordered some dishes and unfortunately we were all surprised by the exaggerated and imaginary price and it became clear later that there was tampering with the orders and raising the prices as a number of orders were added that we did not order after we trusted the waiter and raised the price and therefore I advise everyone to take caution and be careful and ask for the menu before and after eating and all of this in the event of going to this restaurant

You charged 1,900 TL for a plate of 1 shish Adana, 1 shish liver and 1 piece of Kusleme that was not the size of a hand and we left without being full. Come on, you wrote 300 TL of it as cover charge. The prices are also average in the leading meat restaurants of this city, but at least your portions should be a little bigger or if you are going to have a mixed meal, you should set the price accordingly. The prices of alcohol and appetizers are according to the city's average, but if you are going to get grilled food, I recommend you go there knowing that the portions will not be enough to satisfy you. (Translated by Google) In addition to being 10 minutes away from Çanakkale Center, it seems to have raised the bar with its renewed design and service quality. While there is mucilage everywhere, there is not a trace of it here. While the toilets used to be terrible, now you can't see anything bad about the past. I think it is successful, lastly, it is the ONLY PLACE with a windless sea from the center to Assos. (Original) Çanakkale Merkeze 10 dakika uzaklıkta olması yanı sıra yenilenen dizayn ve hizmet kalitesiyle çıtayı yükseltmiş görünüyor, ayrıca her yerde müsilaj var iken burada zerresi yok. This is rather a small museum describing the art of pottery in the region. Being exhibited in a restaured hamam, the storytelling is a mix between pottery, hamam and daily life. The entrance is free of charge and the majority of the written explanations are bilingual: Turkish and English.

History museum
Art Museums
The Çanakkale Seramik Müzesi is situated in a restored and reconstructed historic Turkish bath (hamam). It showcases a diverse assortment of local ceramics crafted over the past century. The upper floor houses an exhibition of modern artistic pottery, featuring numerous high-quality pieces available for purchase. However, the museum lacks information regarding historical techniques such as pottery wheel usage and furnace workings. Hopefully, there are plans to expand the exhibition soon.
A small and gorgeous museum transformed from a Turkish army hamam into its current state. The ceramic art display by various artists was beautiful so is the architecture of the museum. It is on a quiet street in the residential Cevatpasa district of Canakkale, entry is free of charge. Highly recommended

At upper floor there was a exhibition of recend artistc pottery with several excellen pieces forsale. What I missed was the informations about the historc technology, e.g. the work on potter's wheel, furnaces... I hope the exhibition it will be extended sooni

It is nice place to see. Iznik, Kütahya and Çanakkale famous for ceramic. I have already seen two of them. Comparing to Kütahya's ceramic museum this one has more contemporary pieces. Doner kebab restaurant
Öncü Döner - İskele - Çanakkale is a fantastic establishment that offers delicious cuisine with generous portions. The service is quick and efficient, ensuring minimal waiting time. The delectable dishes are not only flavorsome but also reasonably priced. The only drawback noted was the unreliable wifi connection. Nevertheless, this restaurant is highly recommended for its scrumptious doner kebabs and mouthwatering selections from the Zurna menu, accompanied by refreshing ayran.
This is a great place with great food and very big portions ( I couldn't finish mine). The service is very fast. You don't have to wait for too long. The food is very tasty and very cheap. The only thing I didn't enjoy was that the wifi was not working.

Fast food restaurant
Cafe 25 Metrekare, which is operated by a family, boasts a cozy and compact establishment. Its primary specialty lies in hamburgers, with options like 'fume' and 'dry tomato' variations available. The portion size of their burgers is sufficient to relish the meal, while maintaining an affordable price range. It has been hailed as the top burger joint in town due to its exceptional quality and taste.
One of the best burger restaurants in the city. The meatballs were so delicious and healthy. The fries were included in the menu for free as a side dish of the burger. The cafe was also spacious. The staff were so gentle as well. I would recommend trying the burger with dried tomato.

(Translated by Google) I had a hard time choosing because every burger on the menu was so delicious. I finally tried the smoked and sun-dried tomato burgers, but I still haven't forgotten the others. Both burgers were delicious, especially the smoked one, which deserved a 10 out of 10 because it was just the right burger for me. The fries were also superb. If I ever come back to Çanakkale, I'll definitely eat here again. The students around here are very lucky. Congratulations to the chef.

Guests rave about the fresh produce and diverse options, particularly highlighting specialties from the Hatay region. The warm and inviting atmosphere is complemented by friendly staff who ensure you feel right at home.
Omletto breakfast is good looking cafe on the street taking to the sea. Inside is decorated black and has glass windows all over. Service here is outstanding. (Translated by Google) It's a nice establishment on a side street. The interior is small, the staff is friendly and welcoming, and you can sit at the entrance and have a coffee while looking out to sea. The cheese and mushroom omelet was good, but despite the menu stating it was served with greens, it wasn't. The portions were large and filling, and the tea was hot and nice :) The espresso was okay, but I think reservations are needed. There's a small winter garden. The inside smells a lot of food and oil, enough to be overwhelming :( The interior decor is nice. The music is nice and not distracting. Successful. I'd definitely come back, but I'd recommend a table with good ventilation. On my second visit, they introduced a different menu. You can customize your own breakfast plate and order it. This is a very rare concept and a good way to avoid wasting food and money.

The Şevk-Et SteakHouse provides pleasant service and employs friendly staff. The variety of meat options available is extensive, giving customers a wide selection to choose from. Customers were highly satisfied with their orders, particularly the burger which was described as tender, juicy, and flavorful. The burger's bread was crispy and delicious as well. Comparatively speaking, the restaurant's burgers are considered superior to those offered by other exclusive burger establishments in the city.
The Service was nice, and the staff was kind. The range of meat was very wide. We were delighted with all we ordered. I also would like to highlight the burger, which I loved. It was soft, juicy and delicious. Its bread was crisp and tasty, as well. I think their burgers are even better than other exclusive burger restaurants in the city. Such a lovely place to have a beer and a burger. The only negative thing that drew my attention was the fee for steaks 🥩 it seemed a bit high-priced to me. Yet, I don’t wanna be an injustice, given the economic collapse in Turkey. So it might be expected.

I was with my Turkish friends from Istanbul and we were visiting Troy. After we have finished visiting the ancient site, we selected this place on Google search as reviews were nice. Although we were not sure what to expect but when the food arrived - the presentation, serving and the friendly staff was commendable. I would say that this place has the best steak I have had so far. Meat was high quality and cooked to perfection. If I return to this area or even nearby, I will definitely visit them again.
