The Mercado Municipal de Abastos is a fantastic fish market that offers top-notch fruit, vegetables, and meat. The best time to visit is Tuesday through Saturday in the morning when you can witness the impressive morning catch, much of it still alive. This market is renowned for its fresh seafood, fruits, and vegetables. Don't forget to take a break at one of the nearby cafes for a refreshing beer and sandwich.
This is one of the best mercados de abastos that my wife and I have been to while traveling all the coasts of Spain and Portugal the last two years. There's a fantastic assortment of fruits, vegetables, meat, fish, other seafood, and prepared food. The people behind the counters must be hired for their sunny dispositions, because they were helpful and almost all were smiling. The atmosphere on a Tuesday morning was festive like weekly markets held on weekends that we've been to many times.
Rod T — Google review
The Mercado Municipal de Abastos is absolutely worth a visit, especially if you’re coming from outside Spain. Markets like this are truly unique — a vibrant part of local life that you rarely find elsewhere. The variety and quality of the products are outstanding: from fresh seafood and top-quality meats to seasonal fruits and vegetables, everything is carefully selected and beautifully displayed. It’s a great place to experience authentic Spanish food culture and see how locals shop and eat. Highly recommended for food lovers and curious travelers alike

Love a Spanish food market. Love the market smell. Lots on offer, fish, meat, fruit and veg. Great choice. No eateries, but small bars close by if needed. Worth visiting

While their selection of classic pizzas may be limited, they make up for it with an extensive range of ingredients to customize your own pizza. The prices are pocket-friendly, making it a popular choice among the locals. The atmosphere in the dining area may not be overly modern, prompting most customers to opt for take-away instead.

(Translated by Google) I'm super surprised the quality has dropped considerably over the past few months. The pizzas are much thinner, dry, and have very few ingredients. When it happened the first time, I thought someone new was making it, and I didn't think it was a big deal. But when we ordered again this Friday, the difference seemed huge. We used to love going out. If they don't change, I don't know if I'll give it many chances again. I prefer to make it at home. These days, the supermarket or frozen ones are better. They raised the price, which seems fair to me, but they shouldn't lower the quantity or it won't be the same.

(Translated by Google) This is the second time I've had a pizza delivered that looks like it was made by my two-year-old son. They throw out the ingredients willy-nilly, and the quality is terrible. Last time they were packed with people, and I thought it was because they were in a hurry, although that's no excuse for the crap they made me. But today it's the same, and the quality is truly shameful. There won't be a third time because I'm not going back.

The Centro de Interpretación del Vino y la Sal in Chiclana offers a simple yet informative look into the processes involved in making wine and salt, two products deeply connected to the town's history. The museum features photographs, educational displays, audiovisual resources, and tools that showcase the rich heritage of winemaking and salt mining in Chiclana. Visitors can explore interactive panels and a shop where they can purchase local wines, various salts, honey, and souvenirs.
Very useful information about the salt extraction and wine making in the area. I would recommend not to skip it, especially if you visit the Natural Park. However, I am not sure whether there is any English translation available. There's a small gift shop with good options for buying the locally produced salt, and a huge selection of local wine. Would definitely recommend a visit as these are an essential part to understanding the region.

A 10/10. Good place, great waiters and amazing food. Everything could be ordered to share. Chicharrones, canelón and bull tail ravioli.

This is a very clean and modern looking place. The menu has good and varied selection of tapas. We have dined here few times and the food is generally quite good. We haven’t loved every dish, but enjoyed ensaladilla de salmón y gambas, bacalao confitado and viera asada. Carrillada, flamenquin and pato con mango salsa unfortunately didn’t do it for us. The service and atmosphere is good, but we like to come shortly after they open. We find it quite noisy after 9 in the evening.

In the 4 days I was in the area I ate here twice,it’s very unusual for me to go to the same restaurant more than once, especially when there are so many in the area to choose from. But after having a light lunch here I really wanted to come back to try more of the dishes, and I have to say every one I tried was delicious and all the plates I saw come past looked amazing. The service was fantastic, the wait staff very attentive and cleared plates very quickly which was helpful when we ordered so much. Don’t hesitate to dine here if you’re in the area. You won’t be disappointed!

We booked a table for 4 and were sat quickly even though it was extremely busy , the food was fabulous however .. the service not so good. It was a busy Friday night however we would ask for something for example more bread and it never showed up so we requested it again from another waiter but still never arrived . We waited over 20 minutes for the bill and had to ask multiple times for it .. lovely place however I think they need to focus on their customer service More and assigning a waiter to certain tables as we had multiple people serving and clearing and there was no communication between any of them.
AlannaGSmith — Google review
We went to the restaurant on a recommendation. We liked it so much the first time that we went back again the very next day. We were really lucky with our reservations, considering the long line of people waiting for a table in the evening. We tried everything on the menu. Everything was incredibly delicious. I would like to highlight the tuna toast, the Bocata El Abrol, Tartar de Tomate, and especially the lamb. The leg of lamb was the best lamb I have ever eaten. The prices are very fair and the service is great. Please keep up the good work. Thank you very much.

The restaurant also serves a variety of cocktails for guests to enjoy while taking in the coastal scenery. Visitors praise the delicious and thin pizzas, with options available for vegetarians.
Very tasty thin crust pizza and they have local craft beer too. The friendly staff gave us a table, despite closing time approaching. The atmosphere for lunch was calm and un-rushed. I got to try Blanca y Verde beer, which is brewed in Chiclana. The waiting staff seemed really pleased that I had chosen it. Great views over the playa from this first floor restaurant. Highly recommended.

Holy cow. These are the thinnest pizzas I’ve ever seen. Super super thin. Delicious. Very clever :) You taste the ingredients, and are not overwhelmed by the base (and profitable for them as well). Not overfilling, so you can enjoy desserts / whatever after, without feeling like you’re going to explode Loved it.

Family birthday meal. We were made to wait 10 -15 mins to be seated. We had seen that there was 4 empty tables but were told we had to wait to be seated. No one appear responsible for seating customers. There were customers walking around with drinks and no masks, but when one of our group's mask had slipped from his nose, a member of staff came up to us and told him to put his mask in place, but did not offer to seat us at the empty nearby table. So we left. That's was a lot of money the Embajada saw walk out of the restaurant/ wine bar. We went across the road to the Primitivo Collantes, a lovely Venta with seating on the road and inside and spent our lovely money there instead, where we were welcomed, feed and treated with respect.

Would definitely not go there if you want a good burger. I ordered the one and only burger they had on their menu for 18€. When I ordered it the server asked me how I wanted the burger done and I told him it should be well done. In the pictures below you can see that the burger I got was definitely not well done and for sure does not look like fresh meat. I sent the burger back twice after it being still raw after I sent it back the first time. After the third time they served me my burger, the plate was incredibly hot, so I have to ask myself if that meat was just microwaved in the back or not. Besides the raw meat, the burger really did not look like was worth 18€ - no sauce and barely any vegetables. After talking to the manager there and showing the pictures of what I was served, I only had to pay the drink I had with it.

Great beach bar. Went there three times during our months stay in Sancti Petri. The bar area serves a great array of drinks and the service is very good, if not great. We had lunch one day in the upstairs area. The food and service unfortunately wasn’t as expected. The food was somewhat bland and the service slow. That said I’d recommend it for a drink at the very least. The beach is superb. We’ll try it again for sure.

We paid pool day in advance. We liked the concept of pool and restaurant cause we went to vidit Cadiz. At the lunch time we went to the restaurant to eat something. After they accommodate us we waited for food order around 30 minutes. After less then 10 minutes 2 courses came, and we were still waiting for remaining 2 dishes. The rest of the food arrived after more then 30 minutes and after we reminded waiter that there is food missing. Burger that we ordered was burned from the outside and rare inside (even tho nobody asked us how we would like it cooked). Chicken was also very bad prepared. We asked the waiter to do something about it and they brought us new one which was also bad in taste. Since we seat down staff was avoiding us, we guess because non of them speaks English except one waiter. When we asked the other one he said in Spanish that he will send another colleague who speaks English. We said that we can order in Spanish but he still didn’t want to serve us. Everyone else got bread basket at the table except us (and they charge that 8€ for 4 of us). When we asked for the bill, waiter asked us did we enjoyed it, where specifically we said what we didn’t like, he said that there was problem in the kitchen. We explained that that is not the problem and that he just could inform us about it. Waiter again forgot about the bill and started cleaning tables. He noticed that we were looking at him, but decided to ignore us. I asked for the bill again. We stayed in a restaurant more then 2 hours for 4 dishes without any starter, with no AC and everyone ignoring us. We received only sarcastic apology from waiter and noticed everyone looking at us when we were returning to the pool. We stayed hungry, with a very bad experience and we would NEVER recommend this place to any foreigner. Money is not the issue and we wanted desserts but after treatment we get we decided not to.

Beautiful setting. Seafood rice came with 1 langostino and 1 scallop €24! We were the only people in the restaurant, having booked a table for 3. Our friend joined us for a drink while we were waiting for our food and she was asked to leave. So disappointing. Max was a lovely waiter but he was taken from our table and replaced by someone who acted like we were an inconvenience. Service needs to be improved. This place has the potential to be a fabulous venue.

Top Bar and Restaurant at the end of Playa Barrosa. Beautiful Garden with different styles of tables... Lounge, table and chairs, bar tables, stairs... Awesome view to the sea. Put a nice dress on and take your coat with you because at the evening there may be some fresh air. Elevated place.

The most wonderful beach, especially for children as it slopes so gently. It is quite windy so lots of waves but i seriously suggest long hair is tied back or it will be stuck to your sun lotioned face and lip balm. Glorious sunsets here too. We went in October, the sea was warm and the beach almost deserted. Perfect. Excellent free parking and small play areas dotted about.

(Translated by Google) Cozy and beautiful church. I have just arrived in Chiclana and I am amazed by the Priest for how he runs the Parish, how he is involved and how detailed he is so that everything is perfect. I read in a review that the screens make the Church ugly, I think you have to think that there are many older people, that such screens help them and connect them more with the Church, it is a place of worship and in my opinion the Priest does it 10, the screens have a lot of aesthetics, considering what a TV is. In my opinion it is a success, they are on the sides without getting in the way or spoiling the whole but above all the service they provide, I suppose is the main thing. (Original) Iglesia acogedora y bonita.

Avoid 🤢🤢🤢. Visited here on 16/06/23. Ordered small plates of bread, olives, pork skewer and chicken skewer. Bread had mould on it and both pork and chicken were visibly raw inside with both bloody and bright pink inside. Blonde waitress wordlessly removed them and replaced bread. She then took pork and chicken back to the kitchen where they were put back on the grill and then given back to us without a word of apology. Basically: If you don’t want food poisoning, do not eat here.

(Translated by Google) Total disappointment with today's sushi from SushiPanda Santo Cristo. We are regular customers of Sushi Panda, and honestly, we've never received such a disappointing order as today's. The sushi came undone, without the slightest compaction: when you picked up a piece, it completely fell apart. Furthermore, the pieces were noticeably smaller than usual, as if they wanted to save on ingredients at the expense of quality. We don't understand what happened today, but it was a disaster. Nothing like the standard you usually offer. As loyal customers, we expect an explanation or compensation, because if this happens again, we'll be forced to stop trusting you. Very bad, really. It's a shame to see something we loved end up like this. Nestled in the vibrant town of Chiclana de la Frontera, Restaurante Los Pescadores is a must-visit for seafood lovers. I've never experienced such poor treatment at a restaurant. Knowing they didn't take bookings, we arrived at 9.00pm as they were opening. My son, who is fluent in Spanish, politely asked a waiter if we could have a table for our party of ten, preferably outside. The waiter responded rudely and dismissively, waving his hand vaguely towards the back of the restaurant and saying "in there" before walking off without another word. My son was left speechless. Despite there being plenty of space outside, this member of staff seemed entirely uninterested in helping us. Unsurprisingly, we chose to leave immediately and found another restaurant nearby, where, the staff were friendly and welcoming. In hindsight, I'm relieved we didn't stay. After such a discourteous reception, I would have resented spending a single cent at Los Pescadores. Go at your own risk - it's an uninviting and unpleasant place

Day 3

South side of town
For day 3, we recommend exploring the south side side of town. Start the day off with Iberostar Real Novo Sancti Petri Golf Club, then wind down and take it easy by the time you get to 2nd/87th Regiment of Foot Memorial. All together, your day would be filled with about 7 hours of non-stop fun.

Golf course
Nestled in the picturesque region of Andalucia, the Iberostar Real Novo Sancti Petri Golf Club is a true gem for golf enthusiasts. Designed by the legendary Severiano Ballesteros, this remarkable course features an impressive 54 holes that cater to players of all skill levels.
Great value for money 36 holes golf resort, with two excellent hotels to choose from.
Simon M — Google review
Interesting layout by Seve Ballesteros, Course A is clearly more interesting than Course B. Unfortunately too many pine trees are planted, holes 10 and 12 at Course A are a good example. The pitch marks on the greens are really a nuisance because anyone can play without a handicap.
Adi H — Google review
Two good courses and practice facility! Would have given 4 stars if it wasn’t for the rude, stuck-up members who on multiple occasions behaved like they had never been on a golf course before.
Meortsdolf — Google review
Fantastic front nine on course A - the back nine is useless and not worth playing. Proshop hardly open and halfway house closes early. Service and attitude from receptionist not very good.
Henrik B — Google review
Two very good, fun courses to play. We played off the yellows, to give us more of a chance to enjoy the golf without making it too difficult but they were still a good challenge for us both. The rounds could be quite slow, especially on the Sunday we played, taking 4 1/2 hours for a two ball because of all the groups in front of us but at least the sun was shining and it didn't put us off too much. Will definitely be back next year.
Steve M — Google review
I used the practice area: the driving range is fine, but the pitch&put course is a disaster. Most of the holes are not even marked anymore and the ground is not maintained. The putting green was covered by pine needles. Also: reception staff was not friendly and unhelpful.

B Course 4/5, A Course 3/5, very slow playing, no Ranger… Greens in good conditions.

Park
The park situated within a pine forest offers an appealing environment with its playground and picnic areas. However, it is regrettable that there is no provision for any form of historical information concerning the significant battle that occurred here. Instead, they merely place unrelated cannons. Sadly, this perpetuates a recurring pattern where we feel ashamed of our past rather than making efforts to comprehend it in order to avoid repeating similar mistakes in the future.
(Translated by Google) Beautiful park with a lot of attention to the things that happened there in 1811. To all the fallen, rest in peace.

Mediterranean restaurant
If you find yourself at the Novo Sancti Petri Shopping Center and have completed your shopping, make sure to visit El Cachito, a renowned establishment in the area. This restaurant offers an incredible dining experience with a focus on Mediterranean cuisine. The menu features a variety of creative and delicious tuna dishes that are sure to satisfy your taste buds. One highlight is the Arroz Negro, a delectable black rice made using squid ink.
Good food, very nice and helpful staff. Recommend visiting :)

The situation, the light, the decor, the easy parking, all great pluses. The staff, the service, a delight. The menu, as to be expected for an ocean town, and with plenty of variety within that. But whilst there was nothing wrong with the food, it could have all been just a little better. Fabulous fat chips, could have been crispier. Beautiful plate of spatchcocked anchovies, could have been less dry. Black rice, just a tad less ink and less cooking would have made a huge difference. Octopus tentacle - well that's always a tricky one, and maybe it just wasn't our day for an easy slice. "It's the little things" Would definitely go again, far too many for's in favor of this place, which I understand has been around for a few decades, so clearly getting it mostly right.

Innovative for sure! You have to like fish and sea products…wow for some , hmm for others. Had dinner there with my husband. The menu blew my husband’s mind. He found that the food was outstanding. For me to be quiet honest was just food presented pretty , lacking some type of amazing flavor. Some of the dishes were good, some were just average. Service was amazing.presentation of every dish and wine was like being in a theater play. Restaurant feel is empty and lack originality. It felt like a meeting room. The Melia hotel is such a beautiful property, the restaurant did not carry the nice warm feel. Overall was ok, but for +200 euros per person , I was hoping for more, also was hoping for a more substantial meal, I was hungry when I left the restaurant. *Visited this restaurant last fall

Innovative kitchen with a great deal of variety in the presentation of the food. Unfortunately every dish tastes more or less the same and I was waiting in vain for the 'wow' moment. Wine list and service, on the other hand, is brilliant 💎 I personally adore fish, when they are prepared using ingredients and cooking methods that compliments the original taste. At approximately €180 for food alone, quite a disappointment.

There is a lot of grass you could sit and enjoy a picnic day. Although to there isn't any park for children, there is park to exclusively dogs. Sometimes into weekends at the afternoon there are young people who like drink or whatever people do here, they probably smoke cigarettes. The uncivil people who suffer everywhere fail, who for a change, take very little care of it... (Translated by Google) It is a park with a lot of potential but poorly used by the city council. It's all fenced. It has a children's park with a sandy floor that, by losing sand, has made the swings very high and the children need help to climb. There is no shade in that area. It is fenced. It has a dog park that is very complete and shady. The rest is divided into a part of paths and grass with some benches and another natural area with trees that are planted for the birth of children in Chiclana. That part of the trees (still growing) has about 4 tables with benches, but they could put a lot more and clean up the ground, which is uneven and dangerous. In general it is a good park but it should be more cared for, it is often very dirty and they could clean it better and get more out of it.

I think that with the money that has been invested, several trash cans could have been placed in the table area, some trees planted and the stones cleaned more. Sights & Landmarks
Sacred & Religious Sites
The Catholic Church known as Iglesia convento de nuestro Padre Jesús Nazareno is a stunning place of worship in Chiclana. Its Baroque facade is truly remarkable and worth admiring. Inside, visitors can find the beautiful Christ of the Nazarene. This church is home to a congregation of nuns from the Augustinian Recollect Mothers who offer various items for sale, including their renowned almond cakes. The convent provides a serene atmosphere for gathering and reflection.
Where Suffering Meets Resilience: A Sanctuary in Chiclana de la Frontera As the massive wooden doors swing shut, their resounding thud seals us away from the clamor of the city. Within this sacred space, two statues stand sentinel beneath a lofty arch. Their faces, eternally etched in sadness, gaze downward. Carved tears—meticulously shaped—seem to shimmer in the subdued light. Unlike the world beyond, where happiness flits like a passing breeze, this place invites us to confront our pain head-on. Here, suffering is not veiled; it stands exposed, vulnerable. Why do we suffer? What purpose lies in pain? The answers elude us, yet somehow, that’s acceptable. Perhaps witnessing the suffering of others here makes our own burdens feel less weighty. The Virgen de los Dolores and the Jesús Nazareno grace this sanctuary. Their solemn presence resonates—the Virgin’s sorrowful gaze, the compassionate face of Christ. These images, steeped in history and tradition, evoke empathy and reflection. We’re not solitary travelers; we share this sacred space with fellow seekers, bound by our humanity and our quest for meaning.

Chiclana is a charming and picturesque town with narrow streets to leisurely stroll through, where one can enjoy a cup of coffee at a local bar. The Arquillo del Reloj is an attraction worth visiting, although it may not be particularly impressive. Pizza restaurant
Pizzeria la Pala is a cozy neighborhood spot that offers delicious thin and crispy pizzas. The "La Pala" salad and the "Nevada" pizza are highly recommended, with the only critique being a desire for more goat cheese in the salad. The staff is friendly and provides exceptional service, creating a welcoming home-like atmosphere. Despite its unassuming location, this pizzeria's unique charm and quick service make it worth a visit.
Really good pizza. Very thin base, good amount of toppings. Just the way I like it. Pity they don’t follow their published opening times on google. First visit was great. One of the crappiest shows I have ever seen in my life. I found it outrageous and a waste of time and money. I think that even if the wineries do not organize it, they should find out a little about what type of people rent their wineries and not ignore the issue since there was no one in charge to complain to, those from the show have not given me complaint forms and on top of that they have ended up intimidating me to leave without giving me room to exercise my rights as a consumer.

The food was bad, the tapas they offer before are few and if you are lucky you get some, the croquettes were black, everything was very oily, the salmorejo was sour and with chunks of tomato, when we sat down at the table, the only good thing was the pâté of scorpion fish, the bread was hard as a rock, the prawns were freshly thawed, they tasted like shrimp and were small, the next dish which was a stuffed chicken fillet was hard and you had to put a napkin on top to remove the excess Oil, chips barely there. The open bar is terrible, the alcohol is horrible, if you were lucky you would get a passable egg cubata. You pay for a service until 6 in the morning so that at 5 they turn on the lights and turn off the music. No vuelvo a ir.

(Translated by Google) Bad service, worse attitude. We placed an order at 9:08 p.m., they told us it would take 50 minutes. We called at 10:15 p.m. After waiting for an hour or so, they told us they had just left... At 10:35 p.m., we called again and they told us it had been in delivery since then. At that moment, the doorbell rang. Surprise, the pizzas were cold. After discussing it with the delivery girl, we had to call the owner, and the only solution was to wait for them to bring it back. But they didn't know how long it would take because they had so many orders ahead of them. Meanwhile, the delivery guy was rudely saying, "Either you take them or I'll take them, I can't wait that long." The solution... He took them, and we were left without dinner. I think this is a horrible and shameful attitude/service, €35 for 3 medium and cold pizzas, I'm sorry but we won't order from the place again, and I hope that all those who have received cold ones write to us, because it's not normal to carry that number of orders in a car and that the delivery "according to the girl on the phone, had left more than 15 minutes ago (living less than 1km from the place)..." Perhaps they could give notice so that someone can go and pick up the order at the place, or simply not take more orders than they are able to handle. (Original) Servicio malo, actitud peor.

(Translated by Google) I appreciate that almost everything is suitable for celiacs. But as an important tip, I would change the gluten-free bread on sandwiches and burgers. I went years ago, 2020, and I think also 2021 if I remember correctly, and the bread was exquisite. I even went back for it several days in a row. It was similar to the one from the gluten-free bakery in Chiclana, if not the same. But this time, the bread tasted like the typical store-bought bread we celiacs are fed up with, and I was deeply disappointed. So much so that I thought about going back for it again and having it for a few days in a row, but I didn't, because I didn't like it at all. The pizza was delicious, but I wouldn't go just for the pizza if they still had the gluten-free bread.

Yikes. What a disappointment! It began with how we were greeted, by a surly waitress who waved at a table, handed us one menu, left, came back with a bowl with 6 small olives in it, and left again. She returned 7 minutes later and took our drink order. A different waiter brought the drinks without speaking with us. 20 minutes after we arrived, I flagged down a third waiter who took our food order but was unable (or simply refused) to recommend anything when asked. [FYI: there's no language problem here; my wife has lived in Spain for nearly 15 years, and speaks like a native.] Food started to arrive shortly thereafter, one dish at a time. Ultimately, five different people served us, none taking ownership of the responsibility to ask I'd we wanted anything else. Totally frustrated with the service (and not impressed by any of the food, other than the razor clams) we left still hungry.

(Translated by Google) A 100% recommended plan. It was my anniversary plan with my girlfriend: a visit to the salt flats + mud and mega-salty water baths + massage + lunch, all for €70 and 10p.m. The visit was very pleasant and entertaining; it didn't seem long at all. The baths were very unusual and fun. You can do it however you want, but my girlfriend and I applied the mud first; my girlfriend even put mud in her hair, "Oh my God!" We rinsed off in the showers, and after the massage, we went into the salt water. It's so salty that you float a lot and the wounds sting. But what really matters: after all this, your skin is soft and surely more nourished. Afterwards, you go to the building where everything is located and you can shower in the changing rooms. Once we were clean, we went to lunch, and the set menu seemed 10p.m. Everything was delicious, and we ended up feeling full. I especially liked the garum salad. The only downside I noticed was that it took a long time to serve us, but everything else was great. I recommend it to all couples and even families or groups of friends; it's quite good value. (Original) Un planazo 100% recomendable.

I'm a demanding person because I like what's good and professional, and they delivered on everything in spades. Jesús, the waiter, is incredible; he helped us a lot with his suggestions on how to order. And then Román, on the grill, has a divine touch. Both of them had exceptional human qualities. And Paco, the owner, despite not having met him often, is clearly a great person, very attentive to detail. The other waiters and the people we met were all very friendly. The food was a pleasure for the senses, from the samphire fritters with potatoes, the chickpeas with seaweed, the croquettes (all of them), the sea bass with bacon (insane), and the desserts... wow, cheesecake and brownie!! Very, very delicious! Honestly, I've been exploring magical places in Cádiz for a long time, and this one has jumped straight into my top 3, if not 1. With spa and massage options, salt harvesting, flamenco on Wednesday nights... a treat for the senses. (Translated by Google) I've been a customer since they opened, and at another time I would have given them a 5-star rating. I was there last weekend, and the truth is, the service leaves a lot to be desired. This is the second time this has happened, but seeing that it's even worse than the last time, I'm writing. I don't know if the waiters are learning, because they act as if they don't have much of an idea. We waited for over 20 minutes to be asked for drinks, and we had to get up to ask for service. We were sitting outside, and there were only four tables occupied. The terrace isn't big enough to make it hard to see all the tables, and even then, they told us they hadn't seen us. We had to ask three times for bread. They started bringing the dishes before the drinks and appetizers. We ordered croquettes, and the insides were cold and soggy, as if they had been frozen and not fried properly. (That's not the waiters' fault; it might be a matter of the kitchen's organization.) We also wanted to order more drinks, but since they didn't appear on the terrace, nothing happened. We finished, got up, and paid at the bar. We went to the spa, and before we got back home, lunch had an effect on us. I don't know if it was the scramble or something, but both of us ended up with upset stomachs. I feel sorry because it's a beautiful place and the food has always been very good and the service is perfect, but honestly, the service hasn't been good for a while now, and the waiters act as if they don't know what they're supposed to be doing. I feel sorry for them because they're very young and are probably learning, but they look lost. Accessible restroom: A disaster. The seat where you sit was loose, so who wants to sit there? Because yes, in an accessible restroom, people usually need to sit down. The shower had a hose, but no shower head, and the shower head was lying somewhere else. No soap, toilet paper, or hand sanitizer. The other restrooms were perfect, but the accessible restroom was terrible. As for the spa, it's fine. It's business as usual, although some guests think they're in a water park instead of enjoying the natural, peaceful surroundings, and instead start screaming and shouting. That's not the owners' fault. The surroundings are beautiful, although the area where the animals are kept looks a bit neglected.
