Convenient shopping center with everything in it. There is an activity center for kids (young and older age around 12yo) inside the mall and we love it (my boys age 11). Some restaurants and shops. Supermarkets. Good place for tourists like us. Easy to reach by bus from Kauniainen.

Best mall in Finland. A bit crowded lately but still best.

Iso omena is quite big compared to other shopping malls in Finland. There are a variety of shops in it. They sweep the floor often but I reccomend Instead of sweeping something thats already clean tet to clean the toilet. I was going to the toilet but the toilet covers has poo all over them.

A culture centre close to the metro line in Tapiola and shopping centre. Accessible by public transport either on bus or metro. Has performance theatres including backstage preparation theatres. Clean bathrooms and spacious waiting area. There is a restaurant but it is closed on the weekends but foods can be bought from many restaurants around.
Patience W — Google review
While looking somewhat antiquated and rustic, it provides excellent cultural services for local community and general public.
Andriy T — Google review
This is truly a fascinating building, surrounded by incredible exterior architecture and peaceful landscaping. The staff are very polite and helpful and the coffee is hot and brewed perfectly. The small library is comfortable and welcoming. This is a lovely, quiet location to go to read a book in the afternoon, have a pastry and relax. The children have fun running around outside, too. Right nearby can be found tennis, paddle boats, swimming, bowling, shopping, remote controlled hobby boat racing or and ice skating in the winter months. It's really pleasant. Also, the shopping and professional services make this a regular, useful and fun stop for our family.

Art museum
EMMA – Espoo Museum of Modern Art is a must-visit destination for art enthusiasts. Located in the WeeGee building, it's Finland's largest art museum, covering over 5,500sqm. The museum showcases 20th-century and contemporary Finnish and international art, as well as design exhibitions. Surrounded by the forest, the gallery offers panoramic views through its windows.
Great art, beautiful views, and a delicious cafe. EMMA is a short walk from the Tapiola metro stop and is such a nice change of pace from the museum districts of downtown Helsinki.
Jessica F — Google review
The wonderful adventure even if you didn't understand what design means. 😄 Visit EMMA and learn! You're worth it. Absolutely great collection of art and design.
Nanni A — Google review
Our favourite museum in Espoo 🙂 We are coming here quite frequently, not only to check the new exhibitions, but also to spend time. It became a mandatory stop during the walk around Tapiola-Westend. It’s a cozy, at the same time quiet big modern art museum in a walking distance from the Tapiola metro station. There are two floors, and multiple separate exhibitions of different artists, both Finnish and foreign, that are changed regularly. Mostly we like them, but lately it became too modern and lucking some elegance and technique in my opinion. It’s a pity that permanent exhibition about Espoo city was removed. It was an interesting one and informative, and there were no other alternatives to it in other museums, at least not that I know about. On Fridays it’s free admission and the museum is open until 19.
Olha K — Google review
EMMA was an interesting and enjoyable experience. It’s great to see so many Finnish artists represented, especially those who are usually underrepresented elsewhere. If you have a couple of hours to spare, I would definitely recommend visiting. The atmosphere was very relaxed, not crowded at all when I went, which made it easy to take your time and really enjoy the art. Entry is €20 per person unless you are under 29, in which case it is cheaper. Overall, a very chill and worthwhile place to explore.
Neptun Y — Google review
Very nice contemporary museum. Little far from the Tapiola Metro Station like 15 min walk. Glad to see inside of WeeGee too.
Saori W — Google review
Having previously visited the Helsinki Museum of Modern Art, I'd definitely recommend the Espoo museum instead. It's a large museum with a good balance of art to floor space, with multiple interesting exhibitions, and a good range of performance pieces, physically objects, and paintings. I especially enjoyed the exhibition exploring the security company Securitas! Entry is free on Fridays after 5pm so I would absolutely recommend a visit!
Rex O — Google review
One of my two favourite art museums in the metropolitan area. I'm not always that much into the themes of the exhibitions, but it certainly opens up my perspective a little. It's very varied - during one visit you can see everything from textiles and glasswork, through critical and conceptual art, to illustration from children books.
Filip M — Google review
We want there last Friday (3rd March 2022) and it was my first time visiting EMMA. I love this place so much as they have many art that combine technology, architecture, furniture design, ceramics, and many more things. We spend time there for 3-4 hours and try to impress each art as much as we can. If you love technology, mechanics, arts, and you may study or work in tech and engineering, you may love this museum like me 🙂 it's easy to impress and understand these arts 10/10 and recommended!!!

Has quite a few essentials, though it would be nice to have better restaurant choices. Occasional advertisers can be slightly annoying though as the narrow layout of the center doesn't allow you to walk by without getting solicited.

Nice place. I come here to do my nails and kids can play in leikkiboksi. There is a library, but shops are mainly big these. Could be more lively.
Misiaq M — Google review
This is a tiny mall in Espoon keskus. Different shops come and go, but the essential grocery stores and H&Ms and such stay. There's a nice café/lunch restaurant in a central spot inside the mall and plenty of other options (Indian and Chinese food, Subway, pizza place etc.) with an outdoor entrance. Lidl will open this fall, which brings healthy competition to the Finnish grocery stores in Espoon keskus, but I was also sad that Clas Ohlson had to close because of it.
Liisa I — Google review
The place is clean and not crowded. Shops are nicely put up, plus the accessibility to other centers are excellent. Bus stops are nearby, also S market and lidl are there to provide for your grocery needs. In addition, they also have a library situated at the third floor, which is must visit. There are also plenty of restaurant buffets within and outside the center and also clothes stores like H&M abd Lindex. It is also near the Espoo Train Station, which is just across it and will only take you 1-2 minutes to reach it.

Ramen restaurant
The ramen eatery Momotoko Iso Omena offers delectable and scrumptious dishes, although they may not be the best in quality. The flavors are rich and the broth is lusciously creamy. In addition to their non-vegan options, they also provide a range of vegan choices. Despite its small size, the restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere complemented by friendly staff.
Momotoko’s Tonkotsu ramen exceeded my expectations. I’ve tried it before, but now it’s truly excellent it tastes like authentic ramen, and the meat is heavenly. The portion is generous, the noodles are fresh, and the corn adds the perfect touch. They also have special offers and other options that are definitely worth checking out. You should give it a try!.
Pink M — Google review
I saw the mixed reviews about this restaurant and decided to check it out myself together with my fiancé. We were lucky, as when we went there, there were no other customers yet, so we got to pick our table and didn’t have to wait long for our orders. All the tables seemed to be a bit sticky? I guess from the ramen’s broth? I felt a bit yacky touching it. The staff was friendly. There was a new girl operating the register, so it took her a bit time. But no complains there. The takoyaki tasted a bit like the frozen ones you can buy at any Asian store. Tastes okay, but a bit expensive for just 4 balls. I ordered the chicken ramen. The meat was the best part of the dish. I don’t have any complains, but not any particular praises either. My fiancé got the karaage and the original Tonkotsu ramen. The karaage he seemed to like, but as far as for the ramen, he was disappointed. He did compliment the meat though, and the egg was okay. The broth was disappointing, and a bit bland. The noodles weren’t so good either. The good thing is, that we found the dishes a good size. We weren’t hungry after finishing them. The price of the main dishes are not so bad, but the side dishes are a bit on the pricey side. Overall, if you don’t feel like making these dishes yourself, I guess it’s worth a try, but I don’t think we’ll be coming back here ourselves.

Yum!🍜 Not the best ramen I've had, but still great and very delicious. Flavourful dishes and creamy broth. They have some vegan options as well. The place itself is quite small, but atmosphere is nice and staff is nice too. 😊
Helen V — Google review
I had my first visit to Momo Toko today, and I can say with complete confidence that I will be coming back. There are menu's in both Finnish and English. I ordered the Original Tonkotsu Ramen dish and it included pork belly, 1/2 soy stained egg, sugar snap peas, sweetcorn, seaweed, and garnished with rocket salad leaves. The broth was delicious and not salty. The pork meat was cooked to perfection as it just fell apart and melted in my mouth. Also it was served with a little side salad with a Miso tasting dressing. I very much enjoyed my meal. The staff were very friendly and they greeted me as I entered, and thanked me as I left. The price was also good at 15.50 €. The restaurant was very clean and had lots of seating. Chopsticks were reusable plastic ones they was so also environmentally conscious. When you're next in ISO Omena and looking for a place to eat, don't hesitate and eat at Momo Toko!

This place is legit. Spicy pork miso 10/10. Teriyaki donburi 10/10. Gyoza 10/10. Kimchi 8/10, sweeter than I've had but it grew on me, really good. Really friendly service. Excellent portion for the money. Overall, 10/10.

Nepalese restaurant
Ravintola Mount Nepal, located in the Helsinki region, offers an incredible dining experience with delicious cuisine and excellent service. It is a popular favorite among locals for its wide range of options including vegan, vegetarian, and meaty dishes. The naan bread is always fresh and served hot. Their signature dishes include Sag Paneer for vegetarians and Lamb Sag, Lamb Curry, and Ginger Lamb for meat lovers – all served with rice, salad, naan bread, and sauces.
Amazing food and nice service. It’s one of my favorite places in Helsinki region. Vegan, vegetarian and meaty options, always fresh and hot naan bread. My favorite vegetarian dish is Sag Paneer, out of meaty ones I recommend Lamb Sag, Lamb Curry and Ginger Lamb (lamb here is tender and delicious). All these dishes include rice, salad, naan bread and sauces. Prices around 14-16 euros for a dish (portions are big, myself I never manage to finish everything) and during the lunch on weekdays they have a nice deal for 9-10 euros + salad buffet is included. Tap water with ice is free.

Ordered Prawn Chili. It was the least spicy food I've ever eaten in nepalese and restaurant. Disappointing as it was supposed to be 2/3 chili symbols and I asked it to be spicy. Also there were shrimps instead of king prawns nepalese dishes usually use. (maybe for cutting costs?).

One person handling the whole restaurant. We ordered mango lassi with the main course which was forgotten till the end. Upon asking before leaving he offered to give it in a used glass bottle of a sparkling water in a Very unhygienic way. Don’t know how this kind of restaurant is even operating in a country like Finland. Also fun fact if you want to face racism from a Nepali guy please do visit there. All the Finns were guided to the tables with menus and asked to pay the bills afterwards where else for us they asked for it upon arriving and asking if we know what to eat without even giving the menu and asked for the payment right away! And never drink the mango lasssi that’s a horror in the glass.

Seems great on first glance, however... We weren't asked how we wanted our meat cooked and got it well done. I prefer medium-rare. When we were asked how we liked it, we told them as it was and got an unfriendly unprofessional response. The server didn't take any blame for it and made it seem like it's our problem. Additionally, the asparagus that came with it was ok at best. Overall definitely not worth the price.
MK I — Google review
I really wanted to like this place but the food was only mediocre, and the portions were quite small in relation to their high prices (240 € total for two adults and two teenagers including two beers). My husband's risotto rice was not fully cooked. My Skagen toast appetizer was so toasted that a knife wouldn't pierce it They never asked how well we wanted our steaks done and cooked them medium by default (we prefer ours medium rare). The atmosphere was very lovely though, and the view to the popular ice skating rink with colorful lights.

Korkeasaari Zoo, established in 1889, is a beloved attraction located on an island in the Baltic Sea near Helsinki. The zoo houses over 150 species, including big cats and reptiles, and is known for its successful breeding programs for endangered species like snow leopards and Amur tigers. The hilly island covers 22 hectares with hiking trails and various picnic spots.
It is nice to visit Korkeasaari Zoo with your family. You can bring your children and show the the real animals. This place is good and many children park, where you can stop for a while. Despite many cute and good animals here, I don't recommend to visit during lunch time. I don't know maybe we are not lucky enough, some animals slept during that time, such as tiger, and lion.. Overall rate, I give 5 stars.

They don't have a huge amount of animals but, the ones they have, are very well taken care of and have a lot of space to be, exercise, run, etc. I would advice a morning visit because some of the animals will not be available after 16h (if I'm not mistaken), like some monkeys. And, when it gets too warm they will seek for a cooler and shady area, sometimes inside, which will prevent you from seeing them. There's some coffee shops and a place inside where you can also eat meals brought by you. Amazing selection of frogs.

The zoo is on an island (i think the entire island is the zoo). I got there by JT-line boat, which is free with Helsinki City Pass (recommended, many activities with 55euro/48h). Anw, the zoo is ok, animals are not really active on a sunny saturday morning of August. But they look well taken care of and have a lot of space. Prepare yourself with drinks and at least 1,5h of walking :)
Trần T — Google review
Small zoo but still took 3 hours to go round as watching the animals and exploring all the nature zones and trails around. Great facilities and large enclosures. We enjoyed our time and saw some animals we haven’t before which was really cool. Being by the water was refreshing and amazing backdrop for the zoo.
Gemma H — Google review
I visited this zoo quite early (11am-2pm) there was not lot of people so no line, saw most of the animals except big cats. I assume they would be more active during afternoon hours, food and drinks were good and gift shop had lot of things to pick from. Ticket prices were affordable and all the events (feedings) were clearly stated in signs, I loved that. I recommend visiting with the whole family or group
Elena P — Google review
The zoo was very clean and large. Excellent facilities, even for grilling. The animals' rights were well met and they were all in the best condition. Good food and enough space appropriate to each animal's habitat were very interesting and satisfying to me. Good luck.
Mozhan K — Google review
I was here at free day with my young child. She is 1,6 y.o. we both engaged so much to see all of this animals. Just I'm sad littel bit, cuz we get there late and didn't see feeding of animals. Otherwise I'm highly recommended to visit this place..

It is a kind of fun loving experience when it's for kids . You can enjoy the scenic beauty of nature along with the wild animals and different species of birds and their habitat. Once a while visit a place is worth it also pack your snacks along with you for convenience and get yourself ready for a long walk coz the zoo covers a very large area so enjoy visiting this zoo for making new memories to remember ☺️

The Seurasaari Open-Air Museum in Helsinki offers a unique opportunity to experience traditional Finnish rural life. Situated on a picturesque island, the museum features over 80 historic buildings including cottages, farmsteads, churches, and manors from different regions of Finland. Visitors can explore the interiors of these well-preserved structures and witness craftsmen at work during the warm season. The museum also hosts events and celebrations during holidays such as Easter and Christmas.
Well worth a visit as a day trip. this place is fabulous! Houses and buildings from around Finland from many different historical eras. Curated so well giving context to how people lived during those times. They were guides at some of the larger places who had excellent knowledge of the buildings, people who lived in them. All of this set and a great natural setting .
Peter J — Google review
Such a beautiful and peaceful place, I'm so sad I didn't have time to visit it fully (had a plane to catch). Will definitely come back and take more time to visit (90-120 mins recommended for a real experience). Most of the actors there are friendly and helpful for explanations. Note that you can access the island for free and see the buildings from the outside, but I'd recommend paying the 13€ fee to see the interiors.
Gio — Google review
It's a very cute island, and the staff members are very passionate and knowledgeable about Finnish culture and architecture, they also dress up as historic characters of the period. By the way, you only need a ticket of you want to visit the inside of the houses, otherwise you can walk around the island for free and see the exterior for free. If you want to buy the ticket, it's cheaper to buy it online in advance. It's a bit difficult to get there, only bus 24, which is every 30 minutes, otherwise, it takes 10-15 mins to walk through the forest through to the main road, which is relatively flat and easy to walk and follow.
C — Google review
It was €12 per adult and you pay at the entrance. Highly recommend if you want to kill a few hours. Dozens of different buildings and interactive exhibits to see. The walking trails are well maintained and there’s a cafe and gift shop within the park. To get there, cross the white pedestrian bridge from the parking lot.

Lovely half-day experience to escape the city and learn about the history and culture of Finland. Definitely worth a visit and make sure to join a guided tour, they really help bring the park to life.

Great open air museum. We spent the afternoon walking around the island. The buildings close at 5pm but you can still wander after they are closed. You can buy the Helsinki city tickets which cover the bus and the museum plus lots of other sightseeing admissions.

A nice place to walk around. Will get chances to see cute squirrels and beautiful birds. No need for ticket if you don’t plan to go inside the old buildings.

A beautiful park with incredible nature. On the territory there is an open-air museum with ancient buildings. There is also a cafe and a restaurant on the territory. You don't have to pay for the entrance if you don't plan to go into the museum buildings.

The Gallen-Kallela Museum, located on the shores of Laajalahti Bay in Helsinki, is the former home and studio of Akseli Gallen-Kallela, a prominent Finnish artist from the 19th century. The museum showcases his eccentric art and offers visitors a glimpse into the roots of National Romantic style and Finnish cultural awakening.
We came around 9pm on Saturday, but enjoyed the place immensely: flowers, buildings, sea view, birds singing - all you need to relax in the middle of the city! Now we plan to visit the museum during the opening hours.

Beautiful area and such a nice coffee place. In the museum you can learn about the lives in the 1880-1920 s.
Maria K — Google review
A very nice and quiet spot. Great views of the lake and a lovely cafe nearby. The museum itself is of a very lovely design, and contains lots of mementos from the artist's life. Note that there's quite a bit of a climb involved. Overall, a nice stop on your walk on to Munkkiniemi.
Yijie X — Google review
Very interesting story about the artist in the museum manual. And of course good collection of paintings on Kenia topic. I didn't notice English text book available though, but was Russian, in addition to Finnish and Swedish.
Aleksandra Z — Google review
Visited on Sunday 18.5.2925. I was disappointed, because I hoped to see some of Gallen-Kallelas paintings, but there are virtually none. They are all in the main museums. This small museum hosts exhibitions and during my visit it was drawings by Alexandra Ionowa, a theosophist and mason. Her work reflects her beliefs and is not my cup of tea. Of the photos uploaded, only the poster for a car race is by Alexis Gallen-Kalella.
Jean W — Google review
Poorly lid, very tired looking museum ... found few pieces of art by Gallen-Kallela himself ... separate coffee house Villa was very pleasant.

National park
Memorial park
Nuuksio National Park, located just a few miles from Espoo on the outskirts of Helsinki, offers a serene wilderness escape. Established in 1994, this national park is known for its tranquil forests and lakes. Visitors can enjoy various outdoor activities such as hiking, wildlife spotting, camping under the stars, riding, cycling, climbing, berry and mushroom picking, swimming in pristine lakes and even snowshoeing or skiing during winter.
Although the entire city of Helsinki is a beautiful place where nature is seamlessly integrated with modern development, the sea views surrounding the city are particularly mesmerizing. However, when you visit Nuuksio National Park, you experience a different kind of beauty—one that feels untouched, peaceful, and far removed from the noise and crowds of urban life. At Nuuksio, you are embraced by true wilderness. Towering trees stretch toward the sky, tranquil lakes reflect the changing light, and the soothing sound of birdsong fills the air. The deep blue waters of the lakes may seem mysterious and even a little intimidating at first glance, but as your eyes follow the shoreline—lined with gentle stone hills and graceful pine trees—you begin to feel a deep sense of calm and connection. It is in these quiet, natural surroundings that you truly fall in love with the place.
Choudhary A — Google review
This beautiful national park offers a wide range of well-marked trails of varying lengths and levels of difficulty, making it suitable for both short, relaxing walks and more challenging, longer hikes. Along the routes, you will find designated barbecue and picnic areas where families and groups of friends can enjoy a meal surrounded by nature. The park combines outdoor adventure with moments of relaxation, making it an ideal destination for those who want to connect with nature, enjoy breathtaking landscapes, and spend quality time in a peaceful environment.
Jose W — Google review
We had an amazing hike here, in october. There is moss and lichen everywhere, its beautiful and colorful, even without the sun. The lakes are dark and pines red, with the white birch trees, its a beautiful combination. There are more sites to set camp and set fire. There are even firewood sheds, with axes and saws and toilets. Recommend 10/10.
Greg C — Google review
Nuuksio National Park is a nice getaway with a stone’s throw away from the bustling city of Helsinki. It’s a beautifully preserved park with nice trails and scenery that epitomizes the Scandinavian landscape. There are some interesting hiking trails which you can take ranging from an hour or longer.
Steven L — Google review
I came here during the first week of September, so still warm and fairly quiet in parts. Everything is clearly signposted and it was quite a nice space to lose yourself in. Plenty of mushrooms too!
Penny L — Google review
Amazing national park with plenty of hikes to explore the nature, lakes and the woods. All routes are very well marked across the way and are easy to complete. For those having time I wpuld advise to stay for two days to explore multiple trekkings across different areas od the park
Pedro V — Google review
It’s a very beautiful, quiet, and peaceful place. There’s no need to be afraid if you see a snake, because they are all harmless water snakes. You can also swim in the lake located in the forest.
N. K — Google review
There is a fantastic forest park near Espoo, located about 30 to 35 minutes from the city center. One of the great advantages of this park is the availability of convenient parking, so you can easily park your car without any worries. The walking and hiking trails, whether through the forest or alongside the lake, are absolutely beautiful and very relaxing. I highly recommend them to anyone who enjoys nature walks and hiking. If you feel like having a barbecue, there are designated fire spots throughout the park, and an extra nice touch is that free firewood is provided for everyone. Overall, I had a really great experience here and thoroughly enjoyed both the hiking and the barbecue. I will definitely come back again and highly recommend visiting this place if you get the chance.

Lunch for 4 adults, a Sun in Sep. Small cozy place, they offer a few tables or takeaway. It's a family restaurant, with a friendly atmosphere The food is prepared as you order it, the ingredients are fresh. We ordered 4 different dishes, all were delicious. The neighbourhood is a new part of town, still with few people around, but we all thought that the experience definitely was worth the effort to go from other parts of the city. It's on the highest quality level of what you find in Thailand. And at very reasonable prices.

Very cosy Thai restaurant in Töölö. We got a warm welcome from the staff. We opted for vegetarian buffet and it did not disappoint us. There were 3 curries, red Thai curry, yellow curry and tofu curry.. All three of them were extremely tasty and to make this all better, we got more freshly made yellow curry. One of the best Thai food in Helsinki! They staff are very kind, helpful and extremely hospitable. Ambience is very nice and gives a warm feeling. I highly recommend this restaurant.

FAT Sunday Brunch. This restaurant had been on my wish list for a long time. I have to say that the best experience was going there for brunch. Even though I'm picky and don't eat much, everything was really good and high quality. I recommend!
Tero V — Google review
Don’t order burgers here! We came for a company dinner and had a reservation, but the service wasn’t good. We had to explain our orders many times, and still some food came wrong. The appetizers, desserts, and drinks were really good. But the burgers were terrible. All the well-done burgers were burnt and had hard edges that we couldn’t even cut with a knife. When I told the waiter, he just said, “Next time order medium+ instead of well-done,” which wasn’t very helpful. I heard their pizza is very good, but the burgers were a big disappointment!
Amir F — Google review
An excellent dining experience at this restaurant. The atmosphere is inviting, and they offer a big variety of beers that pair wonderfully with the food. Their pizza, baked in a traditional oven, is simply perfect. I highly recommend trying the cheese pepperoni pizza—it’s a must-try for any pizza lover.
Dejan G — Google review
In doubt between 3 of 4 stars. The reason why is because I have been here two times, once for some drinks which is completely fine with nice beers to choose from. Second time I went for a pizza and choose the cheese overload. The base was fine but the taste a bit plain. The nduja sausage was difficult to find and the chives ricotta simply didn't match with the pizza. It wasn't nice at all. The beers and the flaming Alaska meringue dessert made my day though.
Sander V — Google review
Grate food and cozy if not a little loud atmosphere. The service was okay but a lot of errors both in ordering and with payment. The food was out within 20 minutes
Linus W — Google review
Honestly it's pretty bad, food is coming cold, they are not gonna re heat it for you. Have you ever tried cold steak? You gonna try it here. They will change your food if it's cold for another one that's also cold. They are never really cleaning anything and walking around looking like they are angry or miserable. You need salt? Go ask the kitchen for it as a customer. Need toothpick? Well go run after the waiter. Wanna order something well you can only order from the lunch menu till dinner. I really do not recommend this place.

I really love the fat lizard. I have gone there multiple times and it’s always a treat. I had brunch buffet on a Sunday and we were so filled up as a family as they had so many things to eat for a price of 27 euros for 2 people. I also went for dinner another time and I had their stake with potatoes. It’s super delicious. Their pizza is also very good and I highly recommend dining here!

The park features thrilling rides like Villi Virta and provides amenities such as lockers and dining options. Visitors can bring their own food and enjoy the day at the park from opening to closing time. With indoor and outdoor attractions, it's an enjoyable destination for both kids and adults alike.
An fantastic waterpark for the complete family. Outside slides have been upgraded and renewed in 2024. You have a lot of slides inside and outside for all ages..baby areas, toddlers and adults. At the wintertime only inside slide open. You can also organised birthday parties there. Only thing I don't like is the restaurant. We always bring our own food. Cool box full of fruites, sandwiches and drinks brings an special family experience on low cost.

Nice place to spend time lot for kid to do. Get little overcrowded inside when they close outside due thunderstorm for a while. Get very load noice instead when all people was inside same time. Food at place very slow, ketchup was empty many say about it took over 10 min for them to refill it. Que to buy food and they close second place to order food instead to have both open. Buffé not to recommend and burgers was soso. Work to buy todays ticket when buy ticket instead to upgrade afterward.

Great overall experience. Perhaps they could do something to ease the queuing for food in hot weather. They could have some water fountains as well, that would help as I heard a mother telling her kid not to drink from the pool as she saw a floating piece of poop. I want to believe it was just her way to warn her kid from the dirty water. 🥲
Adri E — Google review
Parking 5e per day. You can park and pay at the machine near the entrance. During 12pm, there was separate queue available for advanced booking. They allows outside food and there are dining spaces. Better to go with swimming suits or shorts as all others will be wearing those. Locker facility available in the dressing room, take 2euro coins to access them. Hair dryers are available in the dressing room. Many rides are indoor. First aid medicines are kept there.
S J — Google review
Serena is the best water park in Finland and open all year, although the outdoor attractions are closed during the winter season. About half of the water slides are indoors, and the indoor area is warm all year. The park offers waterslides for the whole family, and the biggest ones serve also the slightly daring ones. A mediocre restaurant offers burgers, a buffet lunch and some smaller snacks and during summer time there is also an ice cream kiosk. Serena is a great day trip distance on a beautiful summer day.
Viliina L — Google review

Great "classic" restaurant! Perfect if you are looking for a quiet place. Nice staff and friendly service! Portion sizes are big, some starters like the salmon soup are almost the size of the main dish in other restaurants. I can definitely recommend!

Nice lunch place in Sello Mall, they have "better side" for a la Carte and less fancy for lunch. Lunch was best cobb salad I have had in Finland and they had nice risotto for vegetarian friend. Both with soup and extra salad, and thebprice was still reasonable.

The best restaurant in Leppävaara. Service is attentive and friendly. Food is nice, you can enjoy a good dinner. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area. The bar is OK, but nothing to write home about. A few beers and ciders, but not really a selection.

Aalto University

University
Aalto University, located in Espoo, Finland, is a unique campus that houses all four schools of technology and parts of the School of Arts, Design & Architecture. The university's impressive architecture and massive campus make it stand out as more than just an educational institution. Visitors appreciate the people-oriented design both inside and out, as well as the diverse dining options available on campus. The convenient accessibility to transportation adds to its appeal.
I attended a conference at Aalto University. People-oriented architecture both inside and out, and a massive campus. I appreciate the diversity of dining options on campus. There's a restaurant to cater to everyone's tastes. Additionally, the convenient accessibility of transportation is a significant advantage. Finland has put in a lot of effort to make students feel comfortable and stress-free on campus. The campus is clean and a pleasant place. I wouldn't hesitate to come back here. Also, their lecture halls are massive compared to those at my home university. They even have vending machines and a charming cafeteria with delicious food. A complete buffet, in fact. Not just food, but a buffet. A place where you can sit and eat slowly and comfortably before your next class. The metro station has a small mall, as is usual, for convenient shopping. Lecture halls are big and ventilated. After all it was a nice experience and I really enjoyed.

I’ve been visiting the Marine Department for the past few days and found it incredibly active — not only in research and science but also in sports! They have great teams in badminton and football. Truly inspiring to see such a dynamic environment.

It doesn’t even appear like a school, it looks like a hotel in the United Kingdom. Stunning architecture inside out and massive campus. I appreciate the different eateries on campus. I’ve been to a handful of them and would 100 percent recommend. "Jungle Juice Bar" you can taste the health and fruitiness within the cup. I’ve also been to "Ravintola Fat Lizard" to acquire a strawberry shake which was heavenly. There’s a restaurant to please everyone’s tastebuds. Also the transportation being conveniently accessible is a great plus. Finland put a ton of effort in making students as comfortable and stress free on campus. Joyful I had the privilege of being an exchange student at one of the most pristine universities in the whole world. The campus is always tidy and a lovely place to be. Would not hesitate to return here. Also their lecture halls are massive compared to those at the Namibia University of Science and Technology—the university I’m originally from. They even have vending machines and a lovely cafeteria with yummy food. A whole buffet even. Not just food but a buffet. A place to sit and eat slowly and comfortably before your next lecture. The metro station has a mall per usual for convenient shopping. To add sprinkles on top, some class venues don't even look like classes. They appear more like concert venues, minus the front zone standing. With the stage in front for the lecturer to deliver the lecture.

Aalto University is a top-notch educational institution in Espoo, Finland. Dipoli, the university's iconic building, is a must-see with its modern design and vibrant atmosphere. The campus is bustling with students and activities, creating a lively and dynamic environment for learning and innovation. Don't miss out on exploring this unique and inspiring place!

This university is easily the most beautiful university I have visited or attended in Finland. The architecture of the buildings, the designs and decor of the rooms, the proximity of the Metro to the major buildings, applaudable feat.

Pizza restaurant
If you're on the hunt for a delightful pizza experience, look no further than Classic Pizza Restaurant. This gem showcases an array of innovative pizzas crafted by some of Finland's finest chefs, who skillfully blend unique ingredients to create mouthwatering flavors. The atmosphere is surprisingly cozy for a mall eatery, making it an ideal spot for casual outings or even romantic dates. While their menu primarily focuses on pizzas and salads—sorry kebab lovers!—the quality shines through in every bite.
Traditional and unique flavours of pizza. Definitely recommend this place if you're craving pizza. Nice service too. Vegan options and alcoholic benerages and wine also on the menu.

Pizza is always a solid choice here. This time, I also tried the antipasto platter. Even in the evening, the prices aren’t too bad. It’s a nice spot, and I love how it feels a bit tucked away, making it a quick escape from the crowds at Sello.

Nothing to complain. Pretty good place with nice pizzas, good staff, and decent prices. The ambience is quite nice and lets you forget that you are at a busy place like Sello. Highly recommend to try out a pizza here.

Definitely my favourite pizza place in Finland. Prices are a bit higher but it shows in the quality. Pizzas are always tasty and ingredients seem top notch.
Aleksi H — Google review
Great and original pizzas! Some of Finland's top chefs have been involved in innovating new tastes by combining different ingredients. Atmosphere is also pleasant for a mall restaurant and even suitable for dates. Still rather casual place though. In addition to pizzas they only serve salads. Sorry, no kebab here (waiters even have that printed on the back of their shirts). The only real drawback is their wine selection which is pretty limited and some cheap ones can be outright undrinkable.
Erno N — Google review
So I’d like to start positive. The pizza was good. Nothing special, just very average. The place has good, dim lightings and nice seats. They only had one vegan options. My partner could choose from so many other options but I had only one. My pizza was topped with rotten basilika leaves (I got a bit discount at the end, but after eating half of my pizza because I didn’t notice the rotten leaves). We spent 20 minutes waiting for someone to come take our order. Another 20 minutes waiting for someone to come give us the bill, but ended up going to the cashier since nobody ever came. And this 40 minutes is not even including the time we waited for the pizza which would be like 10 mins. Super super slow service... and very vegan unfriendly. Wouldn’t come back

Indian restaurant
Nestled in the vibrant Leppavaara area of Espoo, Ravintola Curry Palace is a delightful fusion of flavors that emerged from the merger with Vadelma Catering in spring 2021. This charming eatery not only serves as a lunch spot but also offers full-service event space rentals across the capital region. With its proximity to Sello Shopping Centre, it’s an ideal stop for those craving authentic Indian cuisine amidst a peaceful atmosphere.
My go-to place when I was working in the office nearby. You can eat as much as you want. Great food, many different meat options and nice tea. During summer, there is a nice terrace. Several times the owner was complaining about my jacket laying on the chair next to me (it was supposed to not block the chair). Sometimes the dessert was mediocre. Overall very good :)
Antoni G — Google review
My go-to place whenever in Keilaniemi. Great, authentic Indian flavors and brings back delicious memories from visits to India. The only problem is my tendency to eat too much but that's a personal problem :)
Antti P — Google review
I had a mixed experience. Lunch buffet was good and value for money. I liked it. Food was relatively fresh than other Indian cuisine available nearby. I appreciate the hospitality. But individual meals (from the menu) seemed overpriced.
Deepanwita D — Google review
I grabbed lunch here during a normal Wednesday lunch hour, lots of available seating and a peaceful atmosphere. I came to try this place out as my Indo-Asian co-worker suggested to try this place out as this is the closest to what he'd describe as "proper" indian food you can get in Helsinki. Maybe it was just the menu that day, but the main courses unfortunately underwhelmed me. Like yeah, it was tasty, good, and had so much to choose from, but alas, something just didn't click unfortunately. But to soften the blow, I gotta give it to them, the naan, fruit punch and the dessert they offered were really punching above their weight class. I'll most likely try to spin the wheel again next week to see if I just happened to have my lunch on an inopportune time. To summarize, if you like Indian food, or would like to try it, definitely give this a chance. I hope my visit was just a fluke :D

Spicy potatoes on Wednesday are great. So is the Aloo. Chili chicken on Thursday is good too.
Samus G — Google review
One of the best places in Espoo (near sello shopping mall) for authentic Indian food. It has wide selection of good quality, delicious items in menu. I took from tandoori section no 19 and it was awesome. This place also offer buffet lunch.
Shaiful I — Google review
I tried many asian places in Helsinki and Espoo, and I can say this is most probably the WORST. The owner is extremely rude. Also when they offer take away they even do NOT let you take the buffet yourself, they serve self-service buffet for you, which is ridiculous. But the worst is they will NOT add salad, bread, drink or dessert, otherwise you need to pay extra for each of these things. This unpolite behavior does not fit the Finnish standards at all so I was shock. Now I understand why many people complain regarding how rude the owner is.
Borja T — Google review
Very bad food and the customer service is one of the worst I've ever seen! If you're in a good mood, it's not a place to go and have peace and quiet! I don't recommend this place for absolutely anything!

Restaurant
Restaurant Lucy in the Sky is a really nice restaurant that has a great view on the terrace. The food was amazing and service impeccable. It's kind of pricey though.
I tend to visit Lucy in the sky frequently due to their good price-quality-ratio, views and the atmosphere. The views are the best so far that I have ever seen in the capital area. Last time visited, the food took time and we were waiting for quite a time, yet the restaurant did its best to make us feel comfortable and welcoming.
Juulia S — Google review
The view is amazing. The food, you can find better food at home. Starter is good, but the cold soup tastes like pea soup. The Steak was served a bit cold and the mushrooms sauce tasted a bit odd. The pistachio dessert not so good. I had better ice cream and the cake tasted like those made by children. The service was good. Food was a bit late but the waiter was super friendly. My drink came with too much ice and beer was not cold enough. So not the best experience but not bad either. Definitely needs improvement. A bit over priced.
Adriano R — Google review
The only vegetarian option for the main course was surprisingly bad: a piece of boiled cauliflower dipped in curry powder and placed on some hummus, everything way too salty. I could barely feel any flavour, it was just all salt. Charging for tap water seems like a weird policy.
Daria — Google review
Amazing view from 20th floor , Ambient and interior of the restaurant is beautiful! Unfortunately the portions are small and selections are very less. No flavor or fresh taste with the crispy chicken and prawn pasta.
Achini N — Google review
We celebrated a dear friend’s birthday at Lucy in the Sky in Espoo, and it was truly an unforgettable evening. The night began with a glass of sparkling wine as we raised a toast to friendship and another wonderful year of memories. From the restaurant’s high vantage point, the city lights shimmered below us, painting a magical view against the cold night sky. Despite the chill outside, the atmosphere inside felt warm and inviting — filled with laughter, good food, and heartfelt conversations. The elegant setting, cozy ambiance, and stunning skyline made the celebration feel extra special — a perfect night to remember
Marilyn G — Google review
Amazing cabinet that was private with gorgeous views! Food was some fusion cuisine which tasted pretty good - the truffle tartare was my favourite dish of the night.
Ryoko J — Google review
A cloudy day, the view outside wasn’t perfect. The food has some innovative features that justify the price. Best ever tarte Tatin in Finland.
Adel B — Google review
Not really sure what this place wants to be.. fine dining, casual fine dining, or just a regular restaurant? Portion size definitely screams fine dining (small plates, high price), which is fine. Ambience? No problem there. But the music choice threw me off… instead of something classic or jazzy, they played R&B pop. Not bad, just didn’t really fit the vibe. Food-wise, the steak was a bit hit or miss, some parts were way too salty, while the sauce felt a little too light (except the mushroom sauce, that one was good). Dessert actually saved the night: chocolate cake with coconut flakes and ice cream (no complaints, really nice). Drinks? Tried red wine and “Peach Please,” both were just… okay-ish. Overall, for the value of money? Hmm, let’s just say you can do better 😉

In Helsinki, the Exhibition Centre WeeGee is a must-visit for art and culture enthusiasts. This center houses attractive artworks and contemporary art exhibits that will captivate your attention. Located in Tapiola, the cultural hub of Espoo, it is part of a vibrant arts scene alongside the Espoo Cultural Centre and Espoo City Theatre.
Been there when Espoo day as its free. The collection is really nice, shows some great art, ceramics, glass art. In the second floor, there is a kids area which also really nice.

It's lovely to have a big museum area in Espoo. The displays were interesting but small artworks get lost in the large grayish space. These rooms require big, colorful installations and completely differently designed areas for smaller works. Do it yourself art section was a fun idea.
Maria L — Google review
EMMA was my favourite museum in Finland. It has a good variety of art: ceramics, glass, wood and paintings. I especially liked the concretism gallery.
Praful K — Google review
WeeGee is a fantastic exhibition center located in the heart of Espoo, offering a fresh and engaging take on modern and contemporary art. The spacious galleries (EMMA, KAMU etc) host a rotating lineup of thoughtfully curated exhibitions, so there’s always something new to discover, whether you’re a first-time visitor or a returning art lover. A standout feature is the dedicated children’s area, making WeeGee one of the more family-friendly museums around. Another unique highlight is the Futuro House, the colorful, retro-futuristic plastic home that looks like it landed straight out of a sci-fi film. It’s included with your museum ticket and well worth the visit — both for its design history and visual impact. If you need a break after soaking in the art, the on-site restaurant on the bottom floor offers an affordable menu, making it easy to refuel without leaving the building. Whether you’re an art enthusiast, a curious traveler, or a parent looking for a creative outing with the kids, WeeGee is well worth a visit.

Really insightful experience)more for art appreciators). The surrounding is very well maintained, neat and tidy. The actual exhibition hall is not that big, but the displays are mostly interesting modern art and culture , crafts ,unique art work and are simply breath taking, authentic art pieces.Worth the tickets but it's free every Fridays after 17:00 ;) Adult : €12 / Below 18 &70+ ~ Free / Pensioners ,students etc ~ € 10

Weegee is an enormous art gallery. There are a lot of different things to look at, and I spent at least 2 hours looking around until closing time. You'll definitely find something for everyone here. There's even a play area for little kids! P.s. Free entry after 3 pm on Fridays. :)

HopLop Espoo is an indoor play theme park that offers a variety of adventurous activities such as roller slides and snake slides. It's a great spot for family fun, with plenty of climbing areas, slides, trampolines, and more. The park also features a restaurant serving good food at reasonable prices. Additionally, there's ample parking and the convenience of a supermarket in the same building.
Went on a Sunday morning and had a great time. Not at all busy and stayed for the well priced kids lunches.

Wow, the prices are extortionate already, and now 2 year olds have to pay the full price and even the first accompanying adult has to pay? No thanks, I'll get my plague germs elsewhere next time. Plus on a busy Saturday they had 1 person working 2 queues - entrance and snack - which of course took forever.

Good spot for indoor fun. It was a bit tricky to find, as there was no visible sign among the businesses listed outside the shopping center. Also, note that on maps it appears under the name 'HopLop'."

Great place to have fun with kids. There's a lot of places to climb, slides to come down, trampolines an lots more. We ate hamburgers with my 3 girls and my wife had a salad. All was good, especially my "mega burger" was on a scale of 0-10 a solid 9. The 4,5 hours we spent there was filled with running sliding and jumping. Everybody in our family loved the time we were there.

Great spot for younger kids, when it is rainy day or you just want to relax and drink your coffee while it is still warm. Island
Seurasaari is a picturesque island located just north of Helsinki, offering a delightful escape into Finland's rich history and culture. This serene destination is connected to the mainland by a charming wooden bridge, making it easily accessible for visitors. The highlight of Seurasaari is its open-air museum, which features an impressive collection of historical Finnish buildings such as traditional farmhouses, barns, and even a 17th-century church.
Very beautiful place to visit in Summer. Many historically valued buildings are there with guides to explain about it.

Wonderful museum! Such an interesting buildings and details. All staff fluently speak English, and is willing to answer all the questions you might have about the history, peculiarities and the tiniest trifle you happen to spot during the tour. The museum closes at 5 pm, but it means only that the buildings are locked, the territory itself is opened 24/7 and is more like a public park.
Paula Ā — Google review
I visited this open-air museum in Helsinki on my own and it turned out to be one of the best experiences of my trip! Right in the first cottage I met an amazing guide who truly brought Finland’s past to life. He wasn’t just repeating textbook facts. He shared lesser-known stories with such passion that I could feel how much he enjoys digging into history. From why red houses became a symbol of Finland, to how whole wooden homes were once moved across the country, to the hidden meanings in words like väki. Every detail felt like a window into another world. He was also kind enough to take a photo with me which made the moment even more special. What impressed me most was the way he connected everyday traditions, like the sauna, with deeper cultural layers. Learning that it was once considered a sacred space, where life both began and ended, made me see Finnish culture with fresh eyes. All the staff were dressed in traditional costumes which created a wonderful atmosphere and many of them were very knowledgeable too, happy to share interesting stories and facts. Even though I came alone, I never felt lonely. The stories and people made the place feel alive. Highly recommend this museum if you want to go beyond the surface and experience the soul of Finland. ✨

Seurasaari is a magical place. I was fortunate enough to visit on a rainy and gloomy Saturday morning in late August and walked around the island, exploring the various buildings and the nature. The atmosphere and silence on this island was out of this world. Unfortunately I didn't have enough time to visit the interior of the buildings but I will definitely plan accordingly next time I visit Helsinki.

We had a fantastic experience at the ski school on March 2nd 2024 when I brought my two nephews for a private ski lesson. Our instructor, VP, was absolutely wonderful. Not only he is highly professional, he also had a talent for making learning fun and enjoyable for the kids. My nephews, aged 3.5 and 6, really connected with him and expressed their eagerness to have more lessons with him in the future. VP's ability to both engage the children and impart valuable skills on the slopes made our day truly memorable. Highly recommend!
Alon S — Google review
No free parking which contradicts to what their website states. Half of the slopes were closed but they charged full price. Some parts of easy slope were covered with ice and others with very soft snow which makes it much harder to ski on such a heterogeneous surface. Also, there is a pit and a rising slope right next to it in the end of the matted elevator on the beginners slope which may be quite hard to pass for beginners.

Large. usually crowded. family friendly. Indoor and outdoor options. Great for groups. Fun activities. Themed like nature. Parking available (free is limited). Beautiful scenery.

Unfortunately when i went only one slope was open but i still had a great time. The slope was of okay enough quality

A nice place for outdoor entertainment near Helsinki. Thank you for working for us! We were here in July this summer. We arrived in the morning. It was so much fun that we lasted 3 hours only =)
Robin B — Google review
Okayish Skii/Snowboard resort. Okayish slopes and can be reach by bus from Helsinki or Vantaa. The cafe where they sell food is quite disgusting and have food crumbs everywhere where. It would be nice to eat where a table is clean of other ppls left over food bits.

Good place, near espoo. Also, Indoor water park. Great place for kids. Small cafe, with average pulla and coffee.
John D — Google review
Best indoor water theme park. In summer the outdoor Park is also great. However the outdoor activities depends on the weather.

Restaurant
Nestled in the heart of Tapiola, Grilli Ribis is a charming throwback to classic dining with its old-fashioned grill ambiance. This legendary spot serves up delicious Finnish barbecue dishes that evoke nostalgia for past culinary eras. The cozy atmosphere features American-style seating surrounding an open kitchen, allowing diners to enjoy the sights and smells of their meals being prepared. Despite its age and need for some renovations, Grilli Ribis consistently delivers mouthwatering flavors that keep patrons coming back year after year.
Super nice staff, he extended the closing time only for us. Fresh food cooked in front your eyes.

Legendary place! I like very much the American style seating around the grill/bar. Food is good and well priced. Staff is OG!

This place delivered since i was like 7 years old and still keeps delivering!

Wiener schnitzel was very good. Place is small and cozy. Desk going around the open kitchen.
Renny R — Google review
A classic old-fashioned grill in Tapiola. The food is really good-tasting Finnish barbecue food from past decades, absolute recommendation!
Jyri J — Google review
Place is old and needs to be demolished but food is always good
Ilkka H — Google review
Awful place, initially looks comfy but upon closer inspection is dirty. Food is made of low quality, frozen ingredients, instead of toasting the hamburger buns they heat them in a microwave oven. Burger was dry and unseasoned, no fries or cheese in the burger. Will not return or recommend.

Sushi restaurant
Fuku is a delightful culinary gem that showcases the rich tapestry of Asian cuisines, each with its own unique ingredients and flavors. The restaurant offers an inviting atmosphere complemented by friendly staff who are dedicated to providing excellent service. Diners can indulge in a diverse menu featuring sushi, hot dishes, and fresh salads, with many guests particularly raving about the dessert options.
Not just tasty sushi, but also decent salads and warm food section! Fuku is one of the best sushi buffets in the area. The key difference between here and other sushi places is the choice of herbs and spices, which makes the food tasty but not with too much taste. Anotger key difference is the salads, which unlike many other places, here the salads are better designed and very good! The staff are nice and attentive and the price is decent. The spacious area with big windows to outside, makes the experience even better. I totally recommend this place :)
N B — Google review
In general, I thoroughly enjoyed the food and atmosphere at the restaurant. The staff members were exceptionally nice and friendly. They offered a diverse selection of sushi, hot meals, and salads. I particularly enjoyed the dessert section. However, I found the food to be slightly saltier than my personal preference, and I noticed that the salads were not as fresh as I had hoped.
Faezeh ( — Google review
Paid 22+ euros for buffet. The only edible hot dish was the fried shrimp. Sushi was ok, tasted the same as they sell in Prisma. Overall for that price it's better to pick a different restaurant.
Oleksii S — Google review
The lunch buffet had a variety of options including sushi, rice, hot meals, soup, coffee and dessert. The dinning experience was made pleasant by the kind and welcoming staff. I would give this restaurant 3 stars the reason being that the sushi fish wasn't very fresh.
Mariam R — Google review
Dinner buffet includes a good variety of choices such as several salads, Thai curry, fried dishes, sushi, miso soup and fruits. - Overall, the food’s tasty and the quality of service is great.
Belle C — Google review
Good variety: sushi, miso with toppings, warm dishes, deepfried food, salads, sweets, tea. Tasty warm food and salads, sushi not so much, the rice was a bit hard/chewy and cold. I like more taste of sushi in other places. The smallest bowl for miso I experienced so far (I wonder what is the reason for such tiny bowls?) price for lunch 13,80€ on Mon-Fri between 11-15 Pluses: - impresseve variety of salads, they put good effort there, the salads tasted good and were far from usual boring salads options at salad bars - sushi tongs for each customer (hygienic) - toppings (tofu, wakame, onion, tempura) for miso - several choices of sweets for tea - friendliness of staff The drawbacks: - low quality of food ware (most plates: round and for sushi, small bowls for soy sauce have multiple chips on them. It lowers your overall dining experience) - no sign for customers to take food wearing masks or at least avoid talking while taking food. (a woman taking food in front of me was talking while leaning over salads, we all know people tend to spit tiny droplets of saliva while talking. gross 😝) 9.11.2021

I love this place. Delicious Japanese food buffet in a nice restaurant. Reasonable priced.

It was horrified experience. Utensils were broken. Glasses had stains. No markings were made over the dishes for clarification. No extra tissues were available. Overall for the price, I expected more better customer service.

Place is not so clean, specially when you step inside it's a lot of rock under the rubber carpet. Food not so good and sushi without taste.
C O — Google review
Mediocre warm food, very oily. Some sushi was dry. Salad table is so basic and boring. Fried noodles was a scam, it was SPAGHETTI ??? 😫 Do not recommend
Linda L — Google review
Literally one type of sushi left and one dish in the evening buffet. Not even coffee was brought without asking. Weakest evening buffet (which is more expensive) ive ever been in.
Erina S — Google review
Okay and basic chinese restaurant. Expect some okayish sushi and different sauces with interesting spices. The restaurant actually combines the chinese and Thai cuisines adding sushi and adjusting everything into Finnish mild taste. Interesting combo but serves something for everyone. Don't expect any authentic tastes.
Meri V — Google review
This Jufu restaurant is near my building. Inside, it looks nice and cozy. The buffet is a standard one which comes with sushi, salad, and many Chinese/Thai maincourse food that you can find anywhere in Helsinki capital. Price is reasonable. - Sushi: basic types, not professional, stuffed with pretty much rice. (If you're suddenly craving for sushi but so lazy to go further, this can be a temporary option). - Salad: basic options (mix fresh salad, canned fruits, olive, etc.) - Maincourse: all of them are tasty, except 2 beef dishes used frozen beef and it tastes not really nice). - Coffee is included in the price. Soft drinks needed to order separately. They have also A la carte menu, I'd come back to try them next time.
Quyen D — Google review
The sushi is terrible, avoid it. The soups are usually bad. The rest of the buffet is pretty good. The fried chicken, beef and spring rolls are always very nice.
Jimena G — Google review
Flat food. No taste to it all. The sushi was sitting there too long. It got airdried. the salmon on the other hand was even worse slimy:/ Over all looked like the food was done in extremly low budget. No authentic taste to it what so ever. Also The owner and their family was socializing on the dining area taking three whole tables. Their kid was doing homework. Didn't feel I walked to a restraunt, more like someone's home, don't know if that's a good thing.. I won't ever go there again. And would not recommend it to you.

Restaurant
Nestled along the picturesque shores of Haukilahti, Strindberg Haukilahti offers a delightful taste of Nordic cuisine in a stunning marina setting. Whether you're dressed casually in sportswear or looking to celebrate a special occasion, this restaurant welcomes all with open arms. The outdoor terrace is perfect for enjoying drinks on warm evenings, surrounded by the serene beauty of boats and water. Guests rave about the delicious seafood dishes, particularly the expertly prepared pike perch that stands out among other offerings.
Our experience here was excellent! We ordered three different fish&seafood dishes and they were all delicious and well executed. The pike perch with well chosen garnishes and sauce was the winner this time. Friendly and fast service. Pleasant atmosphere. Something between upmarket and relaxed harbour restaurant. Bonus point for the fact that smoking is not allowed on the dining terrace.

Terrible food. Visited this place yesterday for dinner to celebrate Father's Day, total disappointment. The mushroom soup was extremely salty and oily, can't believe they actually dare to serve that to people. Then had the salmon, nothing special, but you can easily have better salmon for the same price. For dessert had the French Toast, no complains. But some others had the Apple Pie, it had an awful appearance and not the best taste. I have read some other reviews and some people say that the food is too expensive for the quality, and I totally understand why. However, I would add that in no respectable place, no matter the price range, have I ever eaten such disgusting food.
Luis O — Google review
We stopped for drinks at this beautiful restaurant in the middle of the marina. The evening was exceptionally warm, so we enjoyed our drinks on the nice outdoor terrace of the restaurant. The rock surface continued right next to the terrace and behind it was the boat channel and more piers. The place feels really maritime! This time we didn't eat, but settled for beers, aperol spritz and glasses of wine. The pricing was at the high end so be ready to pay 10 euros for a glass of beer! The service was friendly and the restaurant was nicely decorated.

Nearly perfect place if you are with a boat, the evening sun on the terrace is not be missed during the summer season, docking the boat is easy as many spaces are available for restaurant customers only. The food if pretty good compared to other similar options around Espoo.. the staff is friendly and even borrows their personal lighter in need :)

Really bad food. Good ambience. Decent service. One of the really bad lunches I had in recent times. I had a vegan starter and main meal. Both of them tasted bad. If you want to eat something vegan, avoid this place. I heard from my friends that steak is also not good here. The seafood is good though. UPDATE: Nice to see that the management responds to reviews. Please ask your chef to practice some nice vegan recipes. Vegan food does not need to taste like grass. There are many amazing vegan recipes.

the young girl serving us was lovely. the atmosphere is very nice too. unfortunately the food wasn't great. 25€ for a burger, you'd expect it to be excellent but it was awful. Ultra salty, rubbery patty. It really isn't the most difficult food to get right. 5 stars for service, 1 for food

Best tenderloin steak I ever had! Tartare was exceptional as well. I honestly don’t get the negative reviews, especially those that have to do with a small menu, which on the contrary shows the quality of the establishment. Great place, great location and great service. A bit pricy. Highly recommend

We had dinner here on a quiet Sunday. The waitress was in a very good mood, the service was quick and the food was tasty. We had shrimp pasta and some other dishes. The setting is very nice inside.
