Visitors can find an array of products from fresh meats to seafood, baked goods, and honey-based cosmetics.
What an amazing market. Fresh local food everywhere. Anything you may want is here. Fresh stawberries were delicious. Highly recommend.

It was very busy. Lots of fresh produce and tempting, waistline increasing delicacies. If you want to get something for lunch, do it well before 1 pm.
Motorhome Q — Google review
A nice indoor market with vegetables, meat, fish and various other stalls. Open until lunch time. Very busy on the Friday when all the stalls are open. Not so busy on other days where some of the stalls are not open. On the Friday additional stalls open up outside. We ate some oysters at the Buvette de La Halle with a glass of wine. They were very tasty

Great central market with lots to see. Make sure to have a meal at Buvette de la Halle. It's located in one of the corners. Some of the freshest shellfish and seafood that you will ever taste.

It's not a big market but what a fabulous selection they have! Beautiful place, impeccably clean with a good choice of excellent local products. From fresh meats to seafood, freshly baked cakes, pastries and other local delicacies all under one roof. What a great way to shop! Not to forget cheese and wine. I highly recommend.

Right in the center of Saint Jean de Luz, this typical French market has all the local delicacies and traditional food you can find in such places: fresh vegetables, fruits, cheese, meat, fish, cold cuts, aperitifs and so on! It's both indoor and outdoor, with plenty of food stall outside.

Maison Adam is a renowned confectionery house in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, known for its exquisite macarons that even Louis XIV favored. The wooden gallery inside the nearby Jean-Baptiste church, where the king and the Infante got married, is truly impressive. Maison Adam's macarons are considered the authentic ones of Saint-Jean-de-Luz and are a must-try, along with their tempting turon.
One of the best shops to buy Gateau Basque. Nicely decorated shop, quick service, beautiful packaging! Wide variety of the gateau Basque to choose from with very stylish packaging options. There is no parking close to the shop.

Friendly service. We buy 3 sorts of special cake of Basque (gateaux Basque) with taste: cream, chocolate and cherry. My husband love it. I like it but not 100%. The edge of the cake that I don’t like it too much. A bit hard for me :) Maybe their macaroons are better since their specialty is macaroons. Unfortunately we don’t but it.

Yes, mistakes were made… But honestly, a sweet served in a chocolate shop should be FULLY EATABLE!! I was expecting a chocolate or sugar fake egg shell… But to my surprise, the egg shell was a real one!?!? Once removed, the inside started to melt and it was so difficult to eat. The team should re-think this dessert as soon as possible! Big disappointment, specially from the staff who didn’t warn the buyer.

Parada obligatoria. La pastelería preferida de Louis XIV, el Rey del Sol. Su historia: Maison Adam In 1660, for the wedding of Louis XIV in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, the future king’s mother and Maria Theresa of Spain succumbed to the finesse of Monsieur Adam’s macarons, sparking the renown of the confectionery house that would last for more than three centuries. Today, Andoni and Miguel Telleria-Adam are pursuing the development of the company passed down by their father Jean-Pierre, upholding tradition while continuing to innovate in the exacting preparation of pastries, confectionery and chocolates.

This is the most beautiful shop in Saint Jean de Luz! When I entered I had a feeling like I have traveled back in time. Lot of selection for shopping, make sure you try the Basque Cake! It's outstanding!

Gorgeous macaron shop, we had the traditional style and Basque chocolate cake, absolutely divine is all I need to say 😊❤️

It’s nothing to do with a common type of macaroni we are used to all over the world. This place is a must to visit when you are in town. That’s not cheap but it worth it. Still with original recipe since 1660, when it was introduced for the first time during the wedding of Louis XIV.

Basque restaurant
Restaurant Xaya is a charming eatery with a cozy and rustic ambiance, offering seasonal French meat and fish dishes along with set lunch menus. The place exudes a warm Basque vibe, adorned with vintage items in a beach hut style. Guests can savor delightful coastal Basque pleasures such as bulots confits, fougasse d'Amatxi, pave de truite des Pyrenees, and more.
We opted for the 5 course degustation menu and it was excellent! High quality tastings, 5 courses was perfect. Albg with the 5 courses there were several treats along the way. The duck was done beautifully rare with a forest berry reduction and truffle mousse, the white fish was with a mustard sauce, there was a tuna sashimi course, a cheese and greens course, and more… all of it was wonderful. The wine pairing complemented each course. The first wine was a Chardonnay… I’m not fond of Chardonnay but this was well balanced, the 2nd wine was really delicious. It was a Roussanne, Marsanne, white Genache, and Viognier blend; perfect with the fish. The duck and truffle mousse was paired with a 2014 Boudreaux that was fabulous & perfect with the duck, and the desert was so creative with many different distinct flavors complimenting each other with a natural fermented sparkling Muskat. It was a very fun experience. I highly recommend it.

We had a great meal tonight at Xaya! The staff was very helpful in explaining each dish to us. And the wine pairings were fantastic. The chef did a great job with the flavors and the presentation. The staff was very thoughtful with our walnut allergy and made sure we were comfortable with the selections . Even our teenage kids enjoyed most of the dishes!

Everything was just so perfect for our little stop at this cute little French town! The 5 course tasting menu is highly recommended. All the dishes were excellent and way over the price of $49. The sweet bread was way over the top - so delicious and creatively prepared! YUM!

XAYA is an experience with a meal. They kindly seated me, a single, in the Africa Room. How can I say this, the XAYA experience makes you feel loved. The meal is a work of art, the flavors make you stop and think, what is this? This is delightful. It makes you live in the moment. The little details, the yellow flowers in the salad. The staff aim for you to enjoy, when you thank them you can see that they take pride in what they do.
Monet L — Google review
Exceptional cooking, notably the beautifully presented octopus, tuna in fig leaf with pollen and red wine reduction (very cleverly proceeded by a small entremets of tuna and honey tartare to accustom the palate to the combination), and a brilliant Galician beef, also served with a little saussisson-style tartare. How this restaurant doesn't have a Michelin star is beyond me, when others in Pays Basque are far beneath the standard set at Xaya. The sole misstep, to our taste, was that the main desert choice was cream-heavy - a blueberry tart held in a delicate, crisp casing that was ready to wow with the intensity of the berries, but was overloaded with dulce de leche that clogged the palate just when it demanded refreshing. From the moment we tasted the amuse-bouches that kicked off the evening we knew the food was going to be out of this world, and excepting the heavy-handed cream dollop on the tart, it lived up to the promise of those first mouthfuls. By the end of the meal we were tiring, the high chairs proving uncomfortable over more than a 3 and half hour time span on a hot night in Biarritz (hence the low star rating for atmosphere). Service was impeccable, informative and friendly, and the speed with which dishes were presented was pitch perfect over the first three courses though slowed as the tables filled up with large parties. Nevertheless, it gave us space to digest and wouldn't have been an issue with the comfortable high-backed seating the majority of (low) tables enjoyed. One of our party was gluten and dairy free and the extent to which her dietary requirements were accommodated, and the invention with which alternatives were presented was sincerely appreciated, and impressive. From the small yet wide ranging wine list we selected a Priorat 'Iura' 2018 from the Atavus estate, a natural wine that showed great aromatic complexity and an excellent focus enlivened by a blend encompassing bone dry Pedro Ximinez. It combined magically with the tuna to further elevate both the dish and the wine.
Nick M — Google review
Excellent dining experience, the staff was very friendly and knowledgeable and it is nicely decorated as well. We had the "Grand diner" with wine pairing, all the dishes and wine were exquisite. Highly recommended if you're looking for a fine dining experience in the area.

Église Saint-Jean-Baptiste is a historic Roman Catholic church located in the charming village of Saint-Jean-de-Luz, France. Dating back to the 1400s, this church boasts an intricate altarpiece and a galleried nave. It holds great significance as the place where Louis XIV and Maria Theresa, the Infanta of Spain, were married in 1660.
What a wonderful and historic church. The cool, dark interior is dominated by vaulted ceilings and a magnificent Baroque altarpiece of carved, guilded wood that takes up the entire height of the back wall of the apse, and the two wings that flank it. The wooden galleries - reserved for men - are typical of the Basque Country. The building is steeped in history with Louis XIV and María Teresa, daughter of King Philip IV of Spain, being married in 1660 (while the church was still under construction). Visiting is an absolute must if you are in the area.

This is a MUST DO if you are here on a Sunday! Yes, it is amazing g architecture znd decore, but it is a church and to hear the organ, the singing that fills the interior and participate was wonderful experience. There was paper outline to follow, very helpful for us English speaking Protestants. We went to the 10:30AM service and were so glad we got there 20 minutes early, as there was standing room only when the church bells rang to begin.

This is an historically important church, where Louis the 14th was married. It has a very unusual architectural feature being the wooden balconies that have been added around three of the walls. This was to house an expanding congregation that could not fit otherwise. A lovely church and Well worth the visit. Entry is free And a good place to sit for a while.

It was an absolute pleasure! I tried their macarons and little lemon cupcake. Macarons were super fresh (even after 3-4 days in the fridge), they melted on my tongue and smelled amazing - like a butter biscuits make by a grandma. The lady who works in the shop was super nice, despite my low level of French. She even slipped a few candies in the paper bag as a gift for my purchase. Supreme service, outstanding pastries and the smell of good quality chocolate in the boutique. The price is 1 euro/macaron if you don't want a fancy box with it. Keep the macarons in the fridge for 10 days max. Take them out 30 mins before consuming.

Ordered a fraisier supposedly light fluffy and creamy instead got a dry and buttery type cake with practically no sponge down the bottom. Rather disappointing considering the price: £30 for 6 portions. Will not re-order from them as this is meant to be a classic French delicacy. My next door pastry chef might do much better for a fraction of the price. I do not recommend this shop for the fraisier.

We chose this based on the reviews and was more than disappointing. Food very average considering the prices. Service very slow. The complementary bread was better than anything we paid for and even that we had to ask for and then had to ask for butter as it didn’t come with it. Definitely wouldn’t recommend and definitely wouldn’t go back.

Bistro
Basque restaurant
Kako Etxea, a popular bistro located in Saint-Jean-de-Luz, is well-known for its fantastic ambiance and delectable regional dishes. Situated across from the marketplace, this charming establishment's terrace is usually packed during sunny days. The menu features a range of simple yet delicious options that showcase local flavors and provide the perfect backdrop for enjoyable moments with friends.
I tried their menu of the day, pate de Basque, Xinger eta Arroltze (egg and bacon), and Tiramisu. We had lunch in the terrace, the food was excellent, the pate de Basque is must try. The staff can speak in French, Spanish and English so easy to order and communicate. Must try!!!

Needing a good dose of healthy food for lunch, I didn't expect such a beautiful and delicious platter of vegetables, served with a simple salad of perfect lettuces. Added a glass of wine and we were beyond happy.

We had an extraordinary meal here. Excellent food made from the freshest ingredients. Wiuld highly recommend the fish, the oysters, the foie gras and the Cote de Boeuf, as well as the crème brûlée for dessert. Excellent service. Great experience!

Fantastic hospitality accompanied by delicious food. We ordered the croquettes with jambon and the special which was orecchiette with prawns and it was divine. Also ordered the calamari but were so blown away by the special that this was overshadowed. Ended the meal with a solid espresso. All around a lovely meal.

Delicious meal and very reasonably priced. We were impressed with the quality of the ingredients. The presentation of the food is also well done and akin to a higher end restaurant.

Had a great time here. Waitstaff were friendly, attentive, and helpful. The tuna, atxoa, and tomato and anchovy salad were all wonderful. Lively atmosphere and fun to sit right outside Les Halles.

Restaurant Le Local café boutique is a new local canteen located near the market. The young chef, Bastien Soumoulou, sources ingredients from the nearby market to create a daily menu with a fresh and vibrant twist. The menu features dishes such as flame-grilled leeks with seaweed vinaigrette, steamed fish with lemon-infused chard and piquillo pepper coulis, and roasted poultry served with broccoli cream and hazelnuts.
Came across this cafe/ restaurant by accident, we were just walking around and tried to find something out of the busy part of St Jean de Luz. Didn’t regret we walked in! Food was brilliant, prepared by a cook who was visibly enjoying his work in the open kitchen. Certainly a recommendation!

Good food! The waiters were relaxed and friendly. What's special at this restaurant is that the kitchen is directly next to the tables so you can watch the cook which is pretty amazing. The downside is that this may result in a greasy smell because there is not really a cooker hood.

This place is the gem I have been waiting for in Saint Jean de Luz. The food is delicious, creative, and all made with local ingredients, but with that international flare that I’m sometimes missing in Pays Basque. Also, the best coffee in town! I highly recommend this place for breakfast, lunch, coffee, or just a pop in to enjoy the gorgeous design.

Good location with a really beautiful view. Staff don't seem to like foreigners however, they were INCREDIBLY condescending and mostly ignored you if you weren't French. Giving 1 star since we ordered food and drinks and waited for more than 2 hours. When we asked about them they were very rude and the food arrived cold. No one ate more than half their order (we were 8) and it was not busy at all.

Pastry shop
Dunes Blanches Chez Pascal in Saint Jean de Luz is a delightful pastry shop that offers an exquisite treat known as "dune blanche." These pastries are described as super light with a thin, flavorsome crust and filled with whipped cream, making them lighter and crispier than profiteroles. Customers rave about the deliciousness of these choux pastries, emphasizing their lightness and just-right sweetness.
Wow. Superb. Super light on the inside, with a nice, but thin flavoursome crust. I adore patisserie and don't say this quickly, but definitely the best choux pastry I ever had. No joke. Others filled with heavy butter or creme patissière can feel like a brick on your stomach after a while. These dune blanche are a bless and go down easily. Happy I went in.

Possibly the most exquisite sweet treat I’ve ever tasted. We tried the Speculoos, Chocolat and Blanche. All were incredible but the Blanche was the pinnacle of patisserie chef mastery.

Whoever Pascal is he must be some kind of genius to come up with these incredible little pastries. Lighter and crispier than profiteroles with a whipped cream inside. 6 for €5 which is good value for the quality and you wouldn’t need any more than 3 to yourself.

(Translated by Google) A beautiful quality of leather and a perceptible quality for this renowned family house in the Basque Country. I am delighted with this very beautiful gift: a studded belt well known to fans. A downside, however, for details which are not in view of the prices: the quality of the dust-bag (in photo), of the gift bag (and the poorly laced bolduc which looks really cheap) in photo and the lack of a maintenance advice booklet of his article. To remedy this in order to be in line with your product quality and image standards. (Translated by Google) I've known this shop for a long time, being from Luz. I have four double-line belts, the last one I bought three years ago for €130. Now the same product costs €175. That's more than a 30% increase. What justifies this increase? Inflation has returned to normal. Moreover, their prices increase every year. By constantly trying to raise their prices for products whose quality doesn't improve, they're going to lose customers, me first. I don't accept this increase! Soon belts will cost €200!!!! In short, the locals must be having a good laugh. Only tourists or fans of the brand will accept this pricing policy. French restaurant
Zoko Moko is a cozy modern dining room in Saint Jean de Luz, offering refined Basque menus and wine pairings. The restaurant has a fireplace and exposed brick, creating a warm atmosphere for guests to enjoy gourmet French cuisine. Visitors have praised the delicious food and pleasant staff, making it a must-visit during your stay in the area. The restaurant is known for its specialties of the region and has received positive feedback on its wine selection.
The menu for lunch was so good! Although it’s full house, the speed of serving is fast and good service.

When you feel let down, it’s often a sign that your expectations were simply too high—and that’s exactly how I feel about this restaurant. To be fair, the food was very good, and the service was pleasant. That said, we personally found the dishes a bit too salty, and the overall pacing of the meal felt quite slow. It took two full hours from the time we were seated to finish the entire course. Interestingly, the local diners—madames and messieurs around us—seemed perfectly at ease, chatting and enjoying their time without any sign of impatience. So perhaps this relaxed tempo is just the norm here. As travelers on a day trip to Saint-Jean-de-Luz, we would have appreciated being able to make better use of our time. But again, none of this is meant as criticism. It all comes down to the fact that we had let our expectations get a bit too high.

Lunch is an excellent value for the quality of food we received. Everything was delicious. I think when going in with unrealistic expectations you could be disappointed the ambiance and service but for the dessert alone lunch was worth it but the fish was delicious and so was our starter.
Mark S — Google review
I recently had lunch at this restaurant, and it was not a good experience. The food and service were both very disappointing, especially for a "tasting menu". The problems started early. We were given a very small amount of wine, and the bread came with no butter or oil. Olives were served, but then, without asking, they were taken away before we even got to finish them. The food itself was not good. The starter tasted like mushy cookies, which was strange and not tasty. The fish was bland, and the vegetables that came with it were not seasoned or prepared well. The duck dish was also poor. The duck had no seasoning, the cube of rice was dry and had no salt, and the acidic vegetables on the side didn’t match the rest of the dish. There was also a random piece of fried cheese on the plate that didn’t make sense. There was no sauce to bring the dish together, making everything feel like a mix of random ingredients. The service was another big issue. The waiter wore low-rise jeans with the bottom buttons of his shirt open, and we could clearly see his 'healthy stomach' - this is not something I want to see, especially not while eating. The waitress explained the dishes very quickly in French, which makes sense because it is a restaurant in France. But I heard her speaking English to other customers, and she knew I didn’t speak French, so I don’t understand why she didn’t bother explaining the dishes in English to us. She was in such a hurry that she didn’t give us a chance to ask any questions. Also, not once did anyone ask if I wanted more wine or if they could take my empty glass away. Dessert was the final letdown. It was just chocolate on top of more chocolate, and it was far too sweet with no balance in flavour. It just made me nauseous. The lunch took two hours for just four courses, which would be fine if the food and service were great, but they weren’t. Overall, this "tasting menu" was a total waste of money. The food was badly made, and the service was poor. I would rather burn my money, than eat here again.

What a wonderful recommendation. The service was fun and helpful (I don’t speak French), the food was stunning and the seafood was so beautiful. Also had the most amazing crème brulee. - never had one like it before. Loved this restaurant, highly recommend and would return.

Fabulous inventive food and menu. Definitely recommend. However it was very atypical to have our server rush us! We had a reservation but we were told that we had to hurry and we were not allowed time to really peruse the menu. Seriously- we had just been seated(on time) and we were told to hurry. We are very nice and flexible- not rude or demanding so we were confused. Kind of ruined the nice atmosphere of the restaurant.

Absolutely magnificent. Wonderful service, incredible seafood, could not fault a single thing though the waiter really made the experience perfect. He went out of his way to verbally translate the entire hand-written menu to English, even though it was clearly difficult for him. He was extremely friendly & enthusiastic, and ensured we were well taken care of even though we could not speak any french. 6 stars, thank you SO much!! Side note - you must make a reservation or arrive at opening time to be seated.

Attentive and nice waiter, really good cocktails and the food was really tasty. Waiting time was fine considering that the restaurant was full. Got a table outside, but was lucky. Think about reserving first.

An extraordinary culinary adventure. The host is a dynamo, the atmosphere electric, the menu is restricted and the food is out of this world. Never mind the Fat Duck and Noma, this is where the seafood action is! Followed by the best crème caramel anywhere and, for me, an indulgent chocolate slice like my Mum makes served with searing sour sauces and burnt coffee crumbs. Inspiring cuisine in a simple and welcoming setting. Not to be missed!

Very nice staff. Showed up without a reservation and they found us a nice table with a water view. Delicious food and very friendly waiters. I would eat there again!

It’s priced high because it’s near the beach and that’s pretty much it. A bottle of water for 6€, 4 sardines for 17€, which as a Portuguese myself these have laughable quality. The only thing decent on this restaurant was the wine and cheese, but the bill was too high for what it’s worth, I don’t recommend it
João B — Google review
Really nice meal here on a Thursday night. The waitress was very good and we were impressed by her. The only issue was that when we had our steaks, they were slightly under what we asked for and the cut was very fatty. Other than that the service was great and the wine paired perfectly with the steak. The tables outside are a great way to enjoy a glass on wine while listening to the waves crashing.
Jack C — Google review
It’s seating near the water. That’s what you are paying for. If the food tastes good, consider it a bonus.
Bob P — Google review
We were looking forward to a relaxed dinner, but were disappointed on several fronts. Service was inattentive throughout – we had to ask multiple times just to place our order. The house burger was unavailable, as was mayonnaise for the fries, which we only found out after asking. Even the kids’ menu came without ketchup, unless specifically requested. Worse still, we found a nylon thread in the food – a serious hygiene issue. The cheese plate (€9) consisted of a few thin slices of basic supermarket-style cheese and was initially served without the cherry jam promised on the menu. It arrived later, but didn’t improve the overall impression. The wine glass was heavily smudged and dirty, which added to the lack of care and attention. Overall, the place felt disorganised, overpriced and indifferent to guests. Bottom line: Not recommended – lacking in quality, service, and basic hospitality

Amazingly good for a beach side stand. The salad was really fresh and tasted wonderful. Very tasty Spanish sausage. My way too provencial American son said the hamburger was the closest to home and very good crispy fries. His smoothie was REALLY fresh and good. Also a shout-out to the nice people who helped us and the server translate one of the ingredients into blueberry.

The best thing about this “restaurant” is the view. We chose the menu: starter, main, pudding. No meat-free option for the starter; main was supposed to be served with chips but they had run out of chips; we were told we would have potatoes however a waiter came to tell us they had run out of potatoes so our dish would come with rice with a sauce basquaise; the rice was undercooked; the sauce basquaise was not one, probably out of a tin and tasted awful; the fish was over cooked and poor quality. Puddings (which the waitress insisted on making us choose when we placed our order) were no better: poor quality ice cream and inedible tarte tatin. Service was poor: waiters were clearing the terrasse, stacking tables and chairs around us even though we were still eating. They clearly wanted to close early. Conveniently, the manager I requested to talk to was absent that day. Apart from the beautiful sunset, the whole meal was a disaster.

Despite the lack of designated parking, visitors can enjoy delicious meals such as fish soup and mussels in this nice and cozy establishment.
Super food, lost a point for the desert though still great

It was very busy due to the town festival but the highlight to our meal were our prawns! We chose the "menu" for 25 euro which includes 3 course. We had prawns, beef with salad and desert. I recommend stopping here!

Nice and cozy restaurant. Good service. Fish soup and mussels were great. Cuisse de Canard and AXOA de veau were Ok. There is no designated parking. You will have to park in the close by streets and walk to the restaurant.

Great little restaurant, we both ate from the "€25 for three courses" menu. All delicious, served by friendly and efficient staff. Drank the recommended wine, also great. Recommended.

Nice restaurant with two terrace. Good value for money (24€ - 3 courses menu) Sadly the duck confit was overcooked.

Great lunch menu! we ordered seafood and it was beautiful.

We visited this place for an evening meal as it looked busy (I can’t always be bothered to look at reviews before I eat somewhere), well I think I should have done so. The started came out within a few minutes of ordering and had been pre-cooked. The starter and main course come out with the same yellow sauce all over it and it was extremely bland. Very disappointing compared to some other restaurants we visited during our trip.

Just a friendly and great basque experience!

Nestled in the heart of Saint Jean de Luz, Chez Theo is a delightful culinary gem that showcases the rich flavors of Basque cuisine. This charming eatery offers an array of specialties, from succulent tuna and hake to hearty dishes like ttoro—a comforting fish and potato stew—and parillada, a tantalizing mixed grill. Seafood lovers will revel in their exquisite fish paella and Mediterranean prawns, while meat enthusiasts can savor the rib of beef alongside delectable tapas and refreshing sangria.
A quick dinner with a family of six, including 4 kids. Very good service and food. Highly recommended if you don’t like crowded touristic places/the restaurant is located on a small side street in the city center.

We came here for dinner while spending the week in St Jean de Luz. My son is named Théo so we took pictures of him with the sign and when we saw they had paella we decided to come back for dinner. It is a friendly, relaxed atmosphere and we were the first people in (we eat a bit earlier as we are from the US travelling with my French in-laws so we beat the dinner rush). We had good service and nice drinks. We skipped appetizers and went straight for the main meal. Everyone shared a big paella except for me. I had the squid in chorizo sauce with potato purée. The flavor of my dish was really, really good but there was hardly any chorizo and the potato purée was cold. This was surprising since we were literally the only people in the restaurant at the time. Cold potatoes are no fun. Also it seemed like a very small amount of food for a plat principal. It was very nicely plated, though. The paella was also very good but had very little chorizo which was disappointing. Maybe 5 pieces total but that means only one small bite per person. Overall a nice meal in a pleasant and comfortable atmosphere but the food was lacking in some regards.

Situated close to one of the major tourist streets of Saint Jean de Luz it can often be very crowded. Especially families with children like this place. Nevertheless it is a nice place with excellent food – great paella – , nice wine and a friendly staff. Good service. Better make reservation !

Great food and quick service! Very kind and attentive staff, good relaxed ambiance, highly recommended for those who seek authentic dishes of the region and great time on the heart of Saint Jean de Luz!

Amazing Paella.! My wife choosed the paella: Boiled rice and tomato concentrate. The other ingredients were low quality seeming coming from the fridge. For my part I ordered a fish with cuttlefish ink risotto that was excelent. I wonder now if this risotto was actualy prepared at "Chez Theo" ? 0 STAR

We ate very well, good sized portions, well presented but not overly elaborate; Pleasant warm vibe; the service was efficient and attentive. Only downer was the price, but we didn't expect to spend much less in Saint Jean de Luz. Otherwise a 5 star.
