Market Square in Goslar is a charming and historic town square surrounded by well-preserved buildings, creating a folksy atmosphere. At the heart of the Old Town, the Market Fountain stands as a testament to centuries of history, with its lower bronze basin dating back to the 12th century. The square also features notable landmarks such as the Gothic town hall from the 15th century and the impressive Huldigungssaal.
Absolutely loved this square and the associated atmosphere. Gorgeous buildings and the glockenspiel at 9am is quite cute and entertaining. This town is gorgeous and is an absolute must if in the area.

Visited on Walpurgis night and greatly enjoyed the atmosphere, food, cheap beer & entertainment. Beautiful little square where the clock of the Treasure Building has the Glockenspiel- moving figurines with music that tells the story of the Rammelsberg mining industry.
It's an old market square in Goslar, surrounded by old and impressive buildings, some of which are clad in ornate slatework. There are several cafes and food outlets in the square and nearby, and I'd guess that it gets very busy at times. A good place to take a break, before moving on.
Beautiful authentic German village. Buildings are old but architecturally amazing. You can walk around the narrow paths and observe the true German village culture.

A town that has been true to the History of Germany. I has been preserved in the age old fashioned and should be visited should you wish to see how Germany centuries ago used to look.
During the winter is an amazing Winter Market that is truly warm and inviting even when the weather is not.
There is a mine close to Goslar that is a few centuries old that offers tours into the depths of the mountains for those brave enough to go underground.
There are many shops, restaurants and hotels so plan to spend some time in this beautiful little town for a truly German experience.

First thing you notice is the small size of the place in comparison to other "normal-sized" malls, however this doesn't dicrease the diversity of the offer, the place has all the required shops in a mall, a DM, some clothes' stores, a cute tiny Bistro in the entrance, and an Edeka center in the underground.
Nice shelter from sun, cold, rain or snow. Good shops and has restroom even.

Amazing food and staff were very friendly and welcoming. I had the rouladen which was fantastic and so filling! Many people sitting outside in the sun but we chose to be indoors as it was quite hot in the sun for us Aussies! Lovely place and highly recommend.
Stopped in the charming German town of Goslar for a quick break on the drive back to the UK. My meal at Die Butterhanne started with a delightful bowl of Pfifferlingcremesuppe - chanterelle cream soup with fresh chanterelles and a side of baguette. A warming, earthy dish that perfectly set the tone for the journey ahead! The second course was wild boar sausages, served with hearty fried potatoes. The rich, savoury sausages paired beautifully with the crispy potatoes, making for a satisfying and memorable stop.
We love the XL cream puff. This time serving was not as nice as 8 years ago. Lack of chocolate syrup and the cherry was not warm.
Very good food. We got a table fast and the food was ready after a short time. Quick and nice.
Very welcoming and friendly staff. Food is very delicious. I'd recomend the steak.
Lovely atmosphere but mediocre service. Right in the center. The worst part was having a piece of meat on top of my vegetarian flammkuchen which annoyed me so much. One of the waiters apologized for it but this unfortunately does not make up for it. I would not recommend this place to a vegan or vegetarian person. Besides, the options are very limited for them. It is also overpriced for the taste.
Lovely buffet breakfast and very welcoming, friendly service. Lovely location and nice set up, especially for those who like rustic style like me. Highly recommend.

For a quick history lesson on Goslar it was impressive. The cinema experience was ok the english translation of the cinema experience was a direct translation from German word by word meaning some of it didn't make sense and was more comedic than informative but still very much enjoyable.
Totally recommended
€8 for a re-enactment of the city that lasted less than 15 minutes. Definately not worth it.

Wir fanden das Kino sehr angenehm und ich glaube es ist eine sehr gute Alternative den Kindern zu erklären wie das mit dem Bergbau im Mittelalter eigentlich begann. Auch der Aufwand der mir der Deko und dem ersten Bereich betrieben wurde war sehr schön. Allerdings erwartet man von 8D irgendwie noch ein bisschen mehr in der eigentlichen Vorstellung. Den Wind empfänden wir auch zu kalt.

The Zinnfiguren-Museum Goslar is a unique museum located in an old mill, showcasing the rich architectural and social history of the region. It boasts a renowned collection of over 10,000 hand-painted tin figures and dioramas, offering insight into the cultural history of tin figure making spanning over 1000 years. The museum features 30 captivating dioramas depicting fairy tales that appeal to visitors of all ages.
I was pleasantly surprised! The artistic work is excellent, and the English audio tour is very helpful and clear! Bring your own earphones, because they don't have them (otherwise you have to hold the audio device to your ear). You can make your own figurine, which is also very fun for kids (parties).
The interactive pieces on display are great to look at and experience.
Price: 4 euro P.P.

Beautiful little museum. A lot to see and do, with some really nice staff. Making and painting your own tin figurines is also really fun. Everything here is also available for a really great price, including entrance tickets. Absolutely recommend.
Fantastic small gem, don't be overwhelmed by the look of the city and take some time to visit this museum. Not only can you see some astonishing diaoramas made with care but also try to make some figures by yourself. Fantastic place for kids.
Our 2 year old loved it, it is rare to find a museum that children also enjoy. There was enough interactivity to keep her busy. She was able to make and paint her own figure!
You make your own tint toy by casting on your own. Wait for 5 minutes for cooling down. Remove edges. Polish. And even paint. Very unique experience!
We discovered this gem by accident and we were lucky to be able to make our own figurines out of tin. The staff was super nice and explained the whole process to the kids. The results were amazing and kids loved it, highly recommend!
Very interesting and fun exposition for adults and children. Also you can make and drowning a zink figure by yourself.
Amazing place and very nice experience to work on your own figurine. It doesn't take a lot of time and you can sit and relax after a morning of walking.

Tim's 5 Tageszeiten is a stylish combination of cafe, bar, and restaurant located in the Kaiserpassage in the heart of Goslar. It is a popular meeting place at any time of day due to its relaxed atmosphere, excellent breakfast, specialty coffees, stylish snacks, delicious dishes, and legendary cocktail evenings. Situated just 200m from the market square, this modern and friendly brasserie caters to guests of all ages.
We went there with a big group of 13 people without reservation on a Monday and we all got a seat.
We ordered burgers, steak and schnitzel.
Everyone was happy with their food and it came almost at the same time.
There is free mayo ketchup and BBQ sauce which is neat!
The portions are okay sized and normal priced.
The staff was very friendly and nice

The food was epic as always, really enjoyed their Tim’s special burger and pasta, but this time we took Veggie burger (which was not that great as compared to others). The atmosphere is always very relaxing and chill, more romantic during the evening hours! Highly recommend!!!
We had a great time here, nice service, fresh food and the price is fair. The omelet with mushroom tastes very good.
Lunch took roughly an hour to be served. When asking the staff about it, it was ready immediately - so it was probably standing there on a hot plate and was forgotten about. Generous portion but incredibly salty, even for German standards. Staff was friendly but not proactive.

Paulaner Wirtshaus an der Lohmühle is a charming Bavarian restaurant located in a historical half-timbered building from the 1600s. They serve delicious "deutsch-bayerisch-internationale" dishes, along with house-made cakes and tap beer. The restaurant is beautifully decorated with antique furniture, creating a rustic ambiance.
Cozy little spot in the charming town of Goslar. The crackling was addictive, the food and drinks were excellent. Everyone cleaned their plates and portions aren't small. Shoutout to the guy who let me grab a seat after I was 30 minutes late. True MVP! Great vibes all around.

Since this would be the third haxen I tried during my prolonged stay in Germany, I’d say I’ve becoming more of umm an ‘haxen-expert’. And in my expertise opinion, this one win so far. It came with a kiddies knoodle with bits of bacon and warm sauerkraut and dark sauces. The knoodle are warm and creamy and chewy but soft. The sauerkraut was really good! It’s sour (or borrowing the influencer term, tangy) and perfect to balance the greasiness of the haxen. The sauce was okay. The haxen is perfectly cooked! Size was perfect, seasoned perfectly, juicy in the middle but crispy outside. The best part ofc the crackling.. it’s crispy and very flavourful. And to be number one in my ‘haxen adventure’ list, ofc it doesn’t have any gamey smell to it. I could only finished half of it and had the half on the to go box.
I had it with a delicious cold dunkel which was poured beautifully.
The place itself was really pretty. A wooden tavern like place in a small beautiful town that us Goslar. Service was good as well.
If it’s not 250km away from where I live, this would prolly be my go to haxen place. But if you’re around Goslar, I def recommend this place!

The prices are decent too. Not too expensive for the amount and quality you get.

Dating back to 995 AD, it is one of Germany's oldest breweries, located next to Die Butterhanne on the market square. Visitors can enjoy Goslars original beer while dining on classic hearty local cuisine.
Very nice setting with good beer and good food. Ordered a pork schnitzel and with some extra beer sauce (incredible sauce) it tasted amazing. The gose is a must try, very mild and not a sour beer like it is in Leipzig (which is also tasty).

Great place to visit in beautiful Goslar. Beer was tasty, as was all of the food, though food was good, not great. Still, the decor and feel of the brew house was cool, and service was prompt, friendly and efficient. Well worth a visit for the area. We were driving and we parked just a few minutes away in the central car park.

Great Brauhaus with delicious and well made traditional german food. Service is fast and attentive. Perfectly located in the town center - it was just a bit cold inside so bring a sweater :)
We made a reservation for two. The poor welcome was a bad start. The frazzled waiter couldn’t find our reserved table. We ended up next to the children’s play area with high waiter traffic. This table needs to disappear, it is a fire hazard! No cozy tables for two? Sorry Goslar Brauhaus, but this was not a good experience. We got up and left.

We have been waiting more than hour for our dishes - 0 apologize from the staff and we were completely ignored. There were many guests who came after us and somehow they could get their food much faster than us. In the end waiter dare to explain us it’s because food is being made with “fresh ingredients”.
Some of the best Italian food outside of Italy! Make a reservation and enjoy. The bruscetta here is some of the best I've ever eaten! The pasta is also amazing. Lots of seafood choices. Family run business with great service...but when full, meals can take quite some time to come out. We were there from 7.30pm and didn't eat mains until after 9.30pm. Still a great night, but not for a quick meal. Bravo 👏👏👏
This is the place to go to in Goslar for a true Italian dining experience. Fresh cooked pasta, our main courses (two different lamb dishes) were very good and the classic tiramisu for desert was delicious. On top of that, the owner/hostess made us feel very welcome here.

The Imperial Palace of Goslar is a remarkable 11th-century royal complex that served as the residence for German emperors during the Holy Roman Empire. Despite centuries of disrepair, it was reconstructed in 1879 and remains an impressive structure.
Lovely grassy area which we took our shoes off to enjoy- as only grass we saw in the town. Lovely old building and very peaceful.

This very impressive tower from 1517, a part of the city wall that you cannot miss, houses a museum and a number of holiday homes. The tower is 20 meters high and has walls that are six meters thick. Given its location, in a park on the edge of the old town, a pleasant place to stay.
My fami out attended the night tour. Spoken in German so limited understanding but kids had fun playing with costumes.

Situated in the northeastern part of medieval Goslar, stands "das Breite Tor", a remarkable remnant of the late medieval fortifications. This grand and imposing city gate was both significant and well-fortified, serving as the main gateway to Braunschweig during times of war between Goslar and its neighboring city. The fortified structure included a double gate with accompanying barracks.
We headed over to Goslar after learning of a celebration that was going on with live entertainment.
Goslar is a town in Germany's Harz Mountains. It's known for its medieval old town and half-timbered houses. Market Church St. Cosmas and Damian features 13th-century stained-glass windows. The 11th-century Imperial Palace has historic murals. South, Rammelsberg Mountain is home to silver and copper mines more than 1,000 years old. There is also a museum preserves underground waterwheels and a mine railway, which we will check to next time we visit the town.
Just like Bad Hazburg the town is quite intimate, the shops and restaurants are situated in one central location, there are several very good restaurants and pubs in town, the shops are very unique and worth checking out. There is a very large and entertaining clock in the middle of town, it beats the typical "cuckoo cuckoo clock" any day. Although the architecture itself is enough of a reason to venture through even the residential area of town, there are many things to see when visiting Goslar. This is a great town with a lot to offer, you won't be disappointed you stopped in for a visit.

medieval times probably weren't sweet, but surely seriously impressive
The building might look small from a distance but is huge standing next to it. Especially the thickness of the walls is impressive. This building truely lets you imagine how it was living here in the middle ages. The gateway is very nice and leads to a beautiful road.
Big, massive, and impressive! In the northeast of medieval Goslar stands "das Breite Tor", an unmissable remnant of the late medieval fortifications. This "Breite Tor" was the most important and best fortified city gate of Goslar, because from here the road to Braunschweig (with which Goslar was at war in the late Middle Ages). The fortification consisted of a double gate with a barracks. Of the outer gate only the Rieslingsturm is still standing, of the inner gate the Brieger Turm and the Breite Tor remain, and on the other side of the street is the Wederhof barracks. The ensemble of "das Breite Tor" is definitely one of the most beautiful and impressive city gates from the late Middle Ages. Well worth a visit!
Uniqe place to visit in Goslar. Its a historic place where you can find an old gate from more than a hundred years ago. Just stroll along this area, its not far from Altstadt and you can find many half timbered houses.

The Mönchehaus Museum Goslar - Verein zur Förderung moderner Kunst e. V. is a cultural gem nestled in the historic old town of Goslar, housed in a charming half-timbered farmhouse dating back to 1528.
Tucked away in the pretty medieval town of Goslar, on the edge of the Harz mountains, is this fantastic gallery. Adorning the walls of its three floors, are dedicated works by the cream of contemporary (post-War) artists, brought together by an internationally-esteemed annual prize, the "Kaiserring", paradoxically all the more coveted for not having a big cash value. The honour of being awarded the famous ring, specially made on each occasion out of gold and aquamarine, is enough.
There are works outside, too, including a room in a rough outbuilding of wood and stone, containing a memorably haunting piece by one of the winners, Anselm Kiefer.

Pleasantly surprised by Mönchehaus Museum Goslar. Inside the very traditional city of Goslar the only and yet nice place for contemporary art. Encountered Ansel Kiefer’s work how I like it best, side specific, in a dark intense somewhat creepy basement of a side-building. These 3 installations alone are worth the visit.

Okertalsperre is a man-made dam and lake surrounded by picturesque hiking trails through beech forests. Nice for a quick stop. Free parking. Nice to walk over the dam. Quite a difference in height on both sides. Weird that there's a pretty nice building on site which looks like once was a restaurant of some kind and now it's closed and they've placed food trucks and portable toilets in front of it. Why not make (re)use of what's already there? Little trail going down was completely overgrown and inaccessible.

Pretty nice trail, pity that a big part of it goes past the highway, but there are some pleasant spots near the water for a little sit down. It's really a walk rather than a hike. We did the whole trail at a leisurely pace with a kid, small baby and a small dog in about two hours, with a break in the middle to enjoy the scenery.
This an amazing walk, but I wouldn't use a pushchair. It's too steep and way too bumpy. Take a lift to the top instead and go to the nice cafe.
Wonderful hiking track and easy access with a kids buggy... Lots of options for a picknick, wonderful views and lakes along the way. It took us about 4-5 hours with two kids (age 1 and 3) and two longer stops. Absolutely recommendable

The place is nice, not so romantic but good for a calm dinner. They took really long for our food (one hour). This is a charming restaurant in a delightful and relaxed setting in the old town of Wernigerode near the famous Harz Mountains in Germany.
We had a delicious meal with excellent service from very friendly staff.
I would thoroughly recommend it, and it has the added advantage of being very close to the station for the narrow gauge Harz steam railway which takes you to the top of the Brocken mountain, immortalised in German literature for its witches and Walpurgisnacht.
I would give Zur Grünen Straße top rating!

The staff at OLYMPIA bei Niko und Ruben was extremely amiable, and the cuisine they served was incredibly delectable. The portions provided were quite generous, accompanied by a delightful sauce. While the restaurant is situated next to a road, there is minimal traffic passing by. Furthermore, the terrace boasted communal and sunlit tables. The food itself was remarkably tasty and epitomized authentic Greek flavors; it left customers yearning for future visits.
About once a year I go here when I visit my mum. I have the same dish every time - Gyrospfanne mit Metaxasauce. At my latest visit today the dish has been even better than all the visits before and I can say it has been one of the best meals I have ever had in my life! It was amazing! 🥰

We can not thank Weite Welt Goslar enough for hosting a large group for drinks before dinner. Friendly, accommodating service with a smile, their Hugo Black cocktail is now a favourite! On our holiday in the Harz mountains we had dinner in this restaurant twice and when we come back, we sure will visit it again. Both the food, wine and service were perfect. The food was delicious, we can really recommend the bio wine "sensired" and the hospitality of the owners was outstanding. They were very friendly and helped us with our questions. Gustav Adolf Stave Church, located in the old spa resort of Hahnenklee, is a remarkable medieval-style wooden church dating back to 1908. This Nordic-style stave church was constructed from spruce trunks and boasts elaborate carvings, an impressive organ, and a unique four-octave carillon. The interior is as magnificent as its breathtaking exterior, offering visitors a peaceful and beautiful place to explore.
Really unusual to see one of these outside of Norway. Built on the Norwegian style, it's well worth a visit to admire the craftsmanship, and you won't see another unless you go to Norway. It only cost euros to get in, and that's well worth it too. Take your time inside, and soak up the atmosphere...

I went there by taking M830 from Goslar Hbf. There is only one or two time each hour,and need to check the time in order not to wait for a long time.

This little church is seriously stunning! If you're into checking out the impressive woodworking skills that showcase the local architectural style, you're in for a treat. The folks running the place might not have been the friendliest, but we still had a good time during our quick visit.

The World Heritage Rammelsberg ore mines, located in Goslar, is a significant attraction with a history dating back over 1000 years. The site was declared a UNESCO World Heritage in 1992. I had the train tour and the museum. The tour was just in German, but was done in a majestic way. The train is obviously the focal experience of the tour, but also how the life was underground and the tools used is explained wonderfully (also without knowing the language:)). The museum is in 3 buildings, the storage with the history is the main part, and the other 2 is more about the real machines. They all have English explanations.

An amazing experience I would highly recommend! It's rare to get to walk in the shoes and take the same mine train the miners took back in the day, deep into the depths of this mine and UNESCO World Heritage site. The rest of the museum and exhibitions are also interesting but the mine rail tour is a must!

First of all, there is no tour in English. For a UNESCO world heritage site, you will expect at least one tour in English.
For the museum part, it is interesting but everything is disorganised and it is not appealing. Some parts are only in German.
I hope one day, this place would be made more accessible for non-german speakers.

I recently visited the Rammelsberg Ore Mines with my husband and had an incredible experience. We took the guided tour in English, called the Röder Stollen, led by Mr. Christian Etzrodt. He was super friendly and humorous, making the entire journey interesting and engaging. I really appreciate him going out of the way to add fun to the tour. It was an amazing and adventurous experience, and I highly recommend his tour. The reception staff were also very friendly and helpful (she helped us choose the appropriate tour), as was the lovely lady at the shop. Overall, it was a fantastic visit! We really enjoyed the experience. Oh, yes! Make sure to wear appropriate clothing and shoes. You would need to walk a lot and climb steep steps. Would not recommend this tour to people with claustrophobia, nyctophobia, panic disorder, breathing issues, pregnancy, etc. It is colder and dark and might be a bit slippery.
P.S. I personally give bonus points for the "Stimmungsring" at the shop, haha

Last time I went I tried the Jaegerschnitzel, and I will say, that was quite disappointing. The schnitzel wasn't quite crispy enough, the sauce was a under seasoned and didn't have much flavour, and the button mushrooms were small and not sliced (albeit plentiful), which took away from the presentation. I needed to add salt to this sauce, which was a strange juxtaposition to the salty chicken. My friend and I got the fries and croquettes for sides, the fries were mediocre, but the croquettes were good. Overall still 5/5 because you can't beat the atmosphere, and when I go back, which I definitely will, I'll just stick to the chicken.

Nestled at the foot of the historic Rammelsberg, just outside the enchanting Harz Mountains, lies a captivating former ore mine that has become a must-visit destination. This site boasts an intriguing museum and offers guided tours through its rich mining history, which dates back to Roman times in the 3rd century and continued until 1988.
A very big and interesting museum.
We went there with a bug group of 15 people without reservation or anything.
We wanted to go into the Mineshaft and the Lady at the counter made it possible for us as a group even though most tours were full!
Inside the mine tunnels we looked at the way the water went to power the huge waterwheels.
The tout guide was very sympathetic and nice.
It took around 75 minutes for the Tour and you can still look at the other exhibitions afterwards.
We didn't have the time to look at everything in one go so we might come back another day to drive with the train inside the mountains.
The pricing is also very fair with what you get!

Goslar is a very nice place away from industrial noise where one can relax and enjoy nature. I recommend visiting the mine, great experience and the guided tour is very informative. One can get rocks and gold flakes as souvenirs in the shop at the entrance.
Came here via school German exchange. Nice views, absolutely astonishing. Would love to take my bf here. Highly recommended, and the tour guides are the best, makes everything very interesting.
A different experience where you can get inside the biggest ore mine in Europe
No access for small children! 2 hours by car for nothing, their website does not say so even though they say they are aware they need to clarify the text. We saw several disappointed parents of small children leaving just like we did.
The modest rounded mountain next to Goslar contains a former silver, lead and copper mine which was the world’s longest operating mine (1000+ years). Apart from the excellent visitor mine, it’s worth walking up to the Maltermeister Turm and further up to an observation point and hikers’ hut with great views over Goslar.
I fell in love with the guide. I wonder if he is available for marriage. If you are going here, ask for your guide to be Thomas. Don't let him distract you by his muscles.

The Marktkirche Goslar St. Cosmas und Damian, also known as the Pfarrkirche, is a charming Gothic church with Romanesque stained glass windows and two mismatched towers. The church has undergone several redesigns over the years, resulting in a mix of Gothic, Romanesque, and Renaissance styles. The north tower offers the best panoramic view of Goslar and can be easily climbed using a large wooden staircase.
We went to Goslar for its Weihnachtsmarkt and they made this historical church a part of it. It was the 5th church I've visited so far and it was the second best. I liked the atmosphere and the icons very much. I didn't pay attention that we could buy ticket for going up there on church tower and enjoy the view of this amazing historical city which I regret it a lot.

Such a beautiful church! I highly encourage you to climb the tower. It’s terrifying, but the view is stunning.
The interior is austere. Don't look for Rococo frippery or lush Catholic iconography; even the stained glass is functional. The Reformation looks like it had fun here.

The ascent of the tower is very interesting and rewards you with a spectacular view from the top. If you're not careful it also provides an eardrum-shattering gong from the bell.

Went there but never even got to taste any food. In the empty place I had to wait for the rather anoid looking waitress to finish what seemed a private phone call and was without much ,explanation given a tablet containing a menu. After trying to pick a starter the thing stopped working. I had to get up and find the waitress for help but instead she simply took the tablet and showed me the door. Humiliatiated as I was I did, only I left my umbrella there and tried to go back in but now I was locked out. Wierd experience that could have been interesting if it was not for the choice of staff. Am very disappointed and cannot recommend the place at all

The worst Sushi we have ever had. Nothing like the pictures. fish has a strange color and taste was not fresh fish. The ordering system was not personal but with a iPad where you order 5 pieces at a time and wait 5 minutes till it is possible to order again. This on a all you can eat menu. This is a strange system and we had to order 2 times before we got our beer. And we only got 1 beer each but when we leave they want payment for 2 beer each. This was corrected on the bill but all in all we would never recommend this place.
Absolut no go. Tuna was brown, staff were tired and careless. The sushi was absolutely not up to the price. Overcooked rise and deep fried things were dripping with oil.

Average quality food at low cost (13 EUR for "all you can eat" lunch). Ordering through tablets, food is brought relatively quickly. The problem was that half of our orders were not delivered (probably left on other tables - few times we saw other guests little bit surprised with meal delivered ). If I ordered a la carte and paid for every single items, I would be very dissatisfied. In the end, we were leaving filled, so 50%.
Worst place we have ever been to! We got our drinks after vi where finished eating, the sushi was old and didn't taste like sushi at all.. When we asked where our drink was, the waiter just said "yes" and we waited another 15min. After we was done, no one asked if it was okay or tastes good. I strongly recomed never to visit this terrible joke of a restaurant. They would not give any discount, even tho we had to wait almost an hour for some cokes and 10 pieces of sushi. And paid 40 euro for that disgusting service and food.
We are still hungry and now have a bad taste in our mouths

The Spargel is very delicious. I chose the Hollandaise Sauce. The Portion is big for me. It cost approximately 20 Euro and the atmosphere is very nice. I was there on Monday that is why it was not so crowded. The service is okay.

We visited here a very beautiful spring day. We sat terrace table seat with great view of Goslar city. We were impressed by very friendly staffs. Good were outstanding while price were rather inexpensive. With EUR40, we had 2x (main + beer + coffee). Nice walking route nearby. We have plenty of reasons to go back there.
Personally, I'd advise anyone who is visiting Goslar to come here. The view is impeccable. They have their own beer and a wide variety of German dishes on the menu. Also it's located at an historical sight of an ancient watchtower. What more could you possibly want?
