Sant Julia de Loria in 2 days

If you only have 2 days to spend in Sant Julia de Loria, we’ve narrowed down the top places you should check out to get the best experience of your time here.
Sant Julià de Lòria is Andorra’s southern gateway, close to the Spanish border and easy to reach from La Seu d’Urgell. It’s known for Naturland, a mountain adventure park with the long Tobotronc alpine coaster and year-round outdoor activities. The parish offers marked hiking routes, viewpoints over wooded valleys, and small Romanesque churches scattered through its villages. Visitors also find duty-free shopping along the main road and a quieter atmosphere than Andorra’s larger resort areas.
With favorites like Jardins de Juberri, Estació d'Esquí de Fons La Rabassa - Naturland Bike Center (Cota 2.000), and St Esteve of Andorra Church, we’ll make sure you don’t miss out on all the must sees. We even included some of our favorite food spots around the area, like Hotel Coma Bella and Fusió restaurant so you can get the best taste of Sant Julia de Loria while you’re here. To see our full list of food recommendations, check out our best restaurants post. If you're traveling on a budget, you can check out our cheap eats post.

Ski resort
Naturlandia in Sant Julia de Loria is a top destination for adventure seekers, offering a wide range of outdoor activities such as ziplining, Airtrekk, buggy rides, archery, hiking, skiing, snowmobiling and more. This 3-star hotel and park is nestled in the picturesque Andorran region with 800 hectares of forested land. Visitors can also enjoy recreational activities like buggies and hiking while exploring the animal park.
(We actually visited a couple of weeks ago) I just wanted to say it's interesting reading the reviews for this place.... I went with lower expectations. I knew the only thing open would be the tobotronc. And yes it was expensive for 1 ride and lunch. But I can't fault our visit, we had a fantastic time. The tobotronc was so much fun and your ride lasts at least 15/20mins. The staff all seemed friendly. No queues. And the lunch included was really great quality. The setting for the place is incredible and the views from the top of the tobotronc are absolutely stunning. We did take more rides as well, which were €15 an adult and €10. You can only get this price after your first ride. I do think the company should look in to the packaging prices. Would be better to have an option to pay for things individually. Anyway we loved our visit.
Louisa D — Google review
A lot of attractions and fun, especially for children. The queues for the Tubotronc are a bit frustrating. The hours set on the reservation don't matter, so don't worry if you are late for them. You will be allowed to go to the Tubotronc, but you will have to wait at the queue. The restaurant there (or whatever this is) is avarage, but it is the only option to have something to eat there.
Лъчезар А — Google review
Had a great experience absolutely loved the Tobotrobc - wish we could have gone down more times. Brilliant! We were really sad the Forestline wasn’t open. And that the camera was broken on the Tobotronc as we were hoping to buy this. Definitely call and check in advance to see what’s open.
Nicola J — Google review
The correct name could be Moneyland.. since the prices are too high for the proposed (and open) attractions. 2 adults and 2 childrens = 170euro but you can do only one round on the top attraction tobotronc, even if the second one was closed that day without no any notice. It was June 21st and the park wasn't too full so we aske for a second tour on the Tobotronc but they said no, even if in that moment it was empty... Considering also the very low taxes in Andorra their prices are too excessive for the services and the proposed (open) attractions.
Guido L — Google review
Amazing experience, I enjoyed horse riding with my guide Paolla (i hope I spelled her name right 😅 ), the activities were great and fun. The staff were amazingly helpful and friendly.
F S — Google review
If you enjoy queing this is the place for you. Didn't explain when we arrived the time on the ticket for tobotronic so we went to que told we would need to wait 2 hours 30 minutes to que for it. Then took another hour queing after turning up our allocated time to get on the ride. The Airtrek and zip line is another joke at one point there was no one on it as everyone was queuing for the zipline and no one else was allowed on the airtrek. The more expensive aventura ticket was fully booked when we got there so wasnt allowed to do the forest line. SUGGEST IF YOU WANT TO DO IT BOOK ONLINE VERY EARLY MORNING TICKET.
Mitchel I — Google review
Beautiful and cold place for family day trip. We enjoyed and had fun, Might be a bit overpriced but the slider was really good experience (we took the parents ticket for the slider which was ~22 euros)
Khalid S — Google review
Old shooting range in La Rabassa converted into an amusement park for children, in Tubotronc, star attraction, a little too long a wait but very fun. Tickets are not sold just for this attraction, you have to buy the entire entrance to the park, a little expensive.

Such a beautiful experience! 😍 It's stunning how much work was done here. I highly ecourage you to take a walk through this peace of Earth. Entry is free and parking is available for few cars. Area is in the forest, at the morning under shadows. No toilets or other facilities.
Tereza O — Google review
Great place to visit especially for children. Not really suitable for those with mobility issues or pushchairs. There are plenty of places to rest around the gardens. Easy to find and street parking outside. Beautiful views.
Ali H — Google review
Must visit and it's free. The park is located on a way to Naturlandia - in fact it's like a museum of various animals made from different materials, surrounded by the green beauty and fresh mountain air. About a hour is enough to pass the whole park including photographing - worth the visit. Especially if you have children, they will be amazed and happy.

It is free but fonation appreciated. Not good for wheelchairs. No bar around. 1 hour is enough. Very nice to visit.

Nestled within the breathtaking La Rabassa forest, the Estació d'Esquí de Fons La Rabassa - Naturland Bike Center (Cota 2.000) is a fantastic adventure park that promises an array of outdoor activities for thrill-seekers and families alike. From exhilarating zip-lining to rock climbing and the famous Tobotronc, which boasts a stunning 5.3 km track through nature, there's something for everyone here.
This is a truly cool place. We attended in winter, February 2019 and enjoyed winter season at full spare. Had a great walk on premises- nobody checked our ticket. Friends took a tubotronic sleigh. Twice! Were happy like kids! Must try!
Oksana V — Google review
Only for the Tobotronc and airtrekk! Everything else is "ok" but old and for 102,90€ (2 adults and 2 kids) it was expensive as in the upper park (you get there by car, it is 8km up) we could only see the animals ( not much either) and all activities where closed there (we went during Eastern holidays - april) You beter only take a ticket for the lower park (where the tobotronc is) as that seems to be the main activity (a track of 5,3km through nature). You can eat at the cafetaria. It was ok food, kind service and correct prices.
Sab K — Google review
What an incredible cool selection of animals, kept in a very responsible way at a height of 2000 meters. Especially early in the morning it was a unforgettable experience!! Loved the little bears!!

Great place for small children and animal lovers. There's a tubing hill, a pony ride, and a beautiful open area with sheep, goats and pigs running around that you can pet. There are also some very well done, large exhibits with animals like deer and bears.
David H — Google review
Super Nice place to go with the Family. Loved the Bears and Wolfs especially !
Robert G — Google review
Such as a good place to visit, especially on the winter time, lovely place, the only bad thing is that the food is expensive and rubbish, in rest everything is fine, hellful staff, great place for the kids as well, animals to see...! :)

Had a better time than expected. Not worth 30 euros but if you have a discount it sure is a nice day. Tobotronc is really good.

Super friendly hotel everyone was so friendly the waiter for the Evening meal was absolutely fantastic and a really nice guy. The food was very good and very well priced good views of Andorra aswell. Added bonus there are cats there so if you are on Holiday and miss your pets you can get your cat fix!

Best location for stay weekend break in nature with beautiful views just in summer rooms is little warm but very clean rooms with beautiful mountains 🏔️ views
Mannu B — Google review
Really good location if you plan to go to activities such as naturlandia, jardins de juberri, among others. Rooms are spacious, access with keypad (very convenient). Seems like a small family hotel, price is good and breakfast could improve a bit, but don't get me wrong, it is good already. I enjoyed a lot
Jorge V — Google review
Stunning view of the mountains from our room, so worth the extra 15 euros to change room. Very close to Naturland and the Tobotronc and a 10 min drive into Andorra. Hotel was very comfortable and beautiful furnishings with a great pool and facilities and very quiet. However the drinks and food was very expensive and the food wasn't that great there, it was okay but just very overpriced and it would have been cheaper to eat out for sure. Staff nice and accomodating. Met a very friendly cat there as well. Really lovely stay all in all.
Hannah G — Google review
Excellent stay. Friendly staff, good English, nice rooms with great views both toward the mountains and towards the forest. I wish we had more time there to use the pool which has an incredible mountain view! Beautiful. The best part was of course that they were a cat friendly hotel. I saw a waiter checking on the cats and that is the main reason we will return. He really cared about the cats. We visited in summer beginning July 2018 and there were a few kittens. Comfortable enough with humans to let us hold them a little bit. There is a great children's play area. Table tennis and billiard with a cozy large lounge area with big screen. We did not have time for breakfast but I believe it comes with bubbles. You should ask about that. Free parking. Highly recommend.
Maya — Google review
Good food, good place and cute cats! We have stayed for 2 nights, and also have 2 dinners here. Dinner were very nice: we ordered meat balls, veal potatoes, and grilled lamp. Both lamp and veal were super tender with very tasty sauce. In addition, they also offered very delicious appetiser. However, their breakfast was very ordinary, a traditional continental European breakfast. Regarding the hotel, the room was large, clean and bright. The place is not easy to reach, you must arrive here via a car, but the surrounding is very beautiful. Last but not the least, the owner raises 8 cats here, and 2 of them are super friendly! If you like cats, you will must have fun with those cats!
Li-ying C — Google review
"Overall, our stay at Coma Bella Hotel was quite enjoyable. However, there was some noticeable noise from an employee conversing either on the phone or with colleagues in the evenings, which somewhat disrupted the peace and quiet in our room on the 3rd floor."

River Centre Comercial is a great place to go shopping, as some of the prices are more affordable compared to other stores. They have special offer catalougs that provide even better deals. Although they don't offer a wide selection of pet food and their prices are not good in that department, they do have the cheapest toilet rolls in all of Andorra. On the first floor, you can find excellent sales service and a wide variety of cleaning products at the best prices.
I love this place. So nice that they have free van/RV parking. I love the free internet in the bakery/cafe. They have nice fresh baked pastries and bread. A great selection of vegan foods in the grocery stores, friendly staff. It’s very big and has a section for everything.

Good place to do shopping some of ther prices are cheaper than other (special offer catalougs) ignore pet food, no cholce, bad prices, cheapest toilet rolls in all Andorra, very good sales service on first floor great choice cleaning products at best prices, the fruit and veg dept after the renovation is best in sy julia , meat counter is boring slow . the after sales service is woth a mention , coustermer service on complaints is great, however I cant get coffee paper filters even after asking . thet now have in stock the Mellita paper coffee filters, both sizes, just to show that they listen to client requests, Fantastic new discounts of the full range of food od 7% for the over 65 showing the cartamagna card,

Comercial Center with own Gas Station & Parking Bar Restaurant. River has more than a supermarket to offer. 2 Story Building below the Food and above the NonFood Articles. The price are as always mixed. Some Items to might get in some supermarkets / Shops for less. The positive you can buy most of the daily needs in here. Pharmacy is also on the end of the building complex. Happy Shopping!
Burkhard H — Google review
This centre is genuinely good value. MUCH better than Lecerc. The range of produce in the supermarket is very good. The prices of alcohol and tobacco products is probably the best in Andorra. They are one of a few who have cut price offers. Beware - a lot of common foodstuffs (suck as Kellogs Cornflakes) are cheaper in France. The cheese and meat selction here (prepacked or staff service) is excellent. They also stock a range of decent small furniture and soft furnishings that are well priced. Watch out for electrical goods / cameras etc. Although they should be 20% cheaper than france (No TVA) many small elctrical appliances can be found cheaper at a normal French supermarket. Excellent cafe serving a variety of very pleasant snacks. Free parking. The garage opposite is always cheapest (equal) for petrol and diesel.

Shopping mall
Centre Comercial Epizen is a large shopping center located near the Hispano-Andorran border. It features a hypermarket, various restaurants, and a wide range of shops. Although it was still under construction during one visit, the center already housed a Carrefour supermarket, several other stores, and a McDonald's. Despite its ongoing development and relatively small size compared to its appearance, visitors found that the shops offered an excellent selection of products.
It was comfortable, convenient to visit. The toilet was also clean. They are selling the cigarettes with alcohol as a free gift, is it a sinful package?
공짜장 K — Google review
It's a brand new shopping centre, which when we visited, was still very much under construction. There's a large supermarket (Carrefour) with an excellent selection of products as well as a couple of other shops and a McDonald's. It's got a little bit of a strange feel to it, probably because it's under construction and it's fairly small, given how large the building looks. However, despite this, I found the shops to have a really good selection of products and the food from McDonald's was good. It was fairly quiet when we visited and there was lots of free parking, although the signage to leave the car park could be clearer. Overall, if you're traveling past, it's worth a quick visit and I'd go back if I was in the area.
Anthony J — Google review
Very disappointed. We went there for shopping, from outside looks great but inside seems like they left incomplete ( unfinished product or in hurry) shops inside are charging way more on the products. I thought Andorra was tax free zone so things would be cheaper here but it was more costly then Spain. Also not many options available here. Won’t visiting here anymore
Trionex — Google review
Saturday 5th January, we have been stuck inside the parking lot for 2 hours!!! Was impossible to go out of the parking due to traffic in the road… a complete Disaster and is unnacceptable! We will never come back. Dont park in this commercial park!!

Bar Restaurant Bare Nostrum, situated in the Av. Verge de Canolich area, is a must-visit for those craving authentic Spanish cuisine. Despite some reports of understaffing and occasional delays in service, the food here is well worth any wait. The menu offers a variety of delicious dishes such as grilled octopus, croquetas, huevos rotos, and grilled vegetables with almonds.
Food was very nice, tasty and full of flavour. We had the nachos, tortilla ( which was absolutely amazing) and a mozzarella and tomato salad ( super good as well). Generally great experience, a little bit pricey but manageable.

Only two stars because the waiting times were endless for both meals and the bill. The bar was full inside and outside, and the waitresses just couldn’t keep up with all the customers and orders. A pity because the food was good. Almost 2 hours spent just waiting around.

I really wanted to like this place. The Ambiente wasn’t really my style but just tried to enjoy it. The server was very stressed out and rather upset. When we got our food it was undercooked. It took a while to get her attention to fix it. When the food came back, we both ate it and went out merry way. Well we both got very bad food poisoning. My husband was fainting and shivering and throwing up all the way home to Barcelona. Once we made it home I started to feel the same. I really think the employees were overworked and stressed. Yet I am very dissatisfied with my experience.

The Church of St. Esteve in Andorra la Vella is a historic Romanesque church dating back to the 12th century, located in the Princep Benlloch square. It has undergone significant modifications over time, with its semicircular apse preserving Romanesque mural paintings now housed in various art collections. The church features a stone bell tower and ornate windows, surrounded by religious sculptures.
St. Esteve Church in Andorra la Vella is a lovely, old stone building with a small bell tower that shows off Andorra’s historic style. Inside, it feels peaceful and quiet, making it a nice escape from the busy town around it.

The church was built in the 11th-12th century in a Romanesque style. It has been restored a number of times over the centuries, most notably in the 20th century. The church retains its original Romanesque semi-circular apse, the largest in the principality, and 12th century altarpiece. Restorations were made in the 1940s by architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch, who remodelled the bell tower and side entrance. In the 1960s, a new nave was constructed. The church is registered in Andorra's register of cultural monuments - known as "Bé d'interès cultural. Its very beautiful from inside and quite big too.🙏🙏

The Church of St. Stephen is a remarkable historical site in the heart of Andorra la Vella. Dating back to the 11th century, it showcases a blend of Romanesque and Gothic architecture. The semi-circular apse, the largest in the country, and the bell tower are notable features. Inside, visitors can admire a 12th-century wooden altarpiece and several Baroque altarpieces. The church's serene atmosphere offers a peaceful retreat amidst the bustling city.

Beautiful cathedral. Would love to have attended mass here and thought I could at the posted time (11am and 12pm on Sundays and holidays of which today is both a Sunday and Andorran National Day [Mare de Déu de Meritxell]. You need to visit Our Lady of Meritxell for the proper mass and festivities on this day). Instead, I read through the missal on my own and enjoyed the tranquility on this beautiful day.

Fusió restaurant is a delightful gem nestled in Sant Julia de Loria, where culinary creativity meets exceptional service. Diners rave about the mouthwatering burgers and delectable crepes, crafted with care and bursting with flavor. The atmosphere is enhanced by a dedicated one-man-band who seamlessly manages everything from seating to cooking, ensuring an unforgettable dining experience.
Very good. I like the buns of the burger. Although the Classica could use a bit more sauce (maybe ask if customer wants ketchup or mayo) as it tends to feel dry.

Amazing hamburger, many flavors. Crep very tasty.

Absolutely delicious burgers and crepes! There is a one-man-band working there, doing everything…he’s a machine! He did seat us, present us the menu, cooked and served the food in record time. Just amazing!

We had a wonderful dinner. The food was very good, especially the desserts, which were homemade! About the service, it was excellent. This made the atmosphere amazing. Thank you very much.

A place to feel welcomed and enjoy traditional dishes. Excellent service, lovely atmosphere and tasty food, perhaps a bit high in salt but not lacking flavor. Recommended!

Super cozy cafe, delicious coffee! I highly recommend it to start your day in Andorra! But pay attention to the bill, ours, due to carelessness or distraction of the waiter, came with items consumed by someone else.

Very disappointing experience at L’Isard CafeRestaurant . Two of 6 drinks arrived slowly, the rest arrived only after several follow up requests . Most of the wait staff were disinterested, bordering on rude. Spinach salad arrived too salty to eat ,perhaps understandable if just one but all three ?! Staff seemed to enjoy smashing empty wine bottles into a bin in the centre of the restaurant , certainly not the relaxed or pleasant atmosphere you hope to enjoy a meal in . Gave feedback to their emailed request but no response: sums up their attitude to customer service! Avoid this restaurant as so many better, friendlier and tastier options nearby !!

Disappointing. Service was fast, staff were friendly but the food really didn't bit the mark, especially at the price point. Sadly they had also changed menus so a number of dishes we were hoping to try were unavailable. Food in general lacked flavour and whilst portion sizes were big and the ingredients were fresh we were left wanting more as this is or was listed as one of the top restaurants in Andorra. We ordered the octopus which was paired with a purple potato. Favours were strange. We also ordered two fresh salads - aubergine and tomato. The tuna in the tomato salad was dry and underwhelming. The sundried tomato overpowered the aubergine but otherwise, eaten with the mozzarella was quite nice. Large drinks menu which is nice and well priced. Would suggest popping in if you are staying at the hotel but otherwise lots of other options available.

We went there for lunch yesterday and had the set menu. While the seafood soup and the salad were awesome starters, the mains (rice with shrimp, “iberian surprise” and the seabass) were underwhelming. The dessert was average. Super friendly service and nice setting overall. I do recommend checking out this place; it’s great value for money.

The food here was medium at best but the prices indicated otherwise. Very stylish decor and good air conditioning inside, but our whole group was disappointed at the food.

I’m sure this is a an amazing place normally but arriving just before closing, they served the worst piece of meat I ever had, old and undercooked. Even tried to make us pay full price. Sorry but that’s unacceptable for a place like this

THE Worst restaurant EVER! Please avoid if u can unless you want to waste your money badly. Taste less food, slow services( maybe because the waitress was too busy flirting with one of the chef), they took 15 minutes to prepare 2 cold dish and it was completed tasteless, not sure how they achieved that lol

McDonald’s is a timeless fast-food institution celebrated for its iconic burgers and crispy fries. It’s the perfect pit stop, especially after a long journey, like my recent road trip to Spain. The cleanliness of the restaurant was impressive, making it an ideal place to unwind. You can always count on McDonald’s for consistent quality and friendly service in a great location. It's truly a delightful experience that never fails to impress!
