BayArena, the home of Bayer Leverkusen, is a must-visit for football enthusiasts. With a seating capacity of around 30,000 spectators, it offers an immersive behind-the-scenes tour that includes walking through the tunnel onto the pitch and visiting various lounges and rooms. The stadium's design was based on the Ruhrstadium in Bochum and was constructed section by section to accommodate the club's growing demands.
Amazing atmosphere, kind staff, incredible fans and we got to see the boys win! I would thoroughly recommend visiting to see Leverkusen at home, they’re well worth seeing.

Beautiful stadium with great atmosphere.
Went to the game vs Heidenheim on the 23rd November 2024 and saw a 7 goal thriller.
1. BayArena is a football stadium in Leverkusen, Germany and is the home stadium of Bundesliga club Bayer 04 Leverkusen. It has a capacity of about 30,000 seated spectators
2. BayArena, initially called Ulrich-Haberland-Stadion, was built in the mid 1950s to replace Bayer's previous home Bayer Sportplatz.
3. There is a shop at the ground floor where you can buy souvenirs like, Jersey, ball, cap, keychains and many more bearing the logo of the club.
In my non-biased opinion (just visiting from a place far away), this is one of the nicest places to watch a football game I have seen. The stadium is compact, and I suspect that there is not a bad seat anywhere in it. The atmosphere on the day of my visit was great, and I was surrounded by very nice people in the section I sat in.
I have been coming to the BayArena since I moved to Germany back in 2002. My son & I used to sit in the B block in the east part of the stadium until they increased it's capacity to the 30.000 odd fans of today. I now have two season tickets in Block B4 where we have excellent views of the pitch. My son has now moved over to join the fans in the Nord Kurve where the true atmosphere can be found.
Whilst I'm very happy to visit the stadium at most home games, I still think that they could improve the number of gates to get in. At the last game it took forever to get in. We almost missed the kick off. And the prices for drinks and snacks here are expensive. I usually don't bother to buy anything nowadays.
This stadium is an absolute great! It’s well located, organized, and safe. Great club to watch and support !

We had an amazing experience last week at the Champion league game against PSG, the stadium and seats where the best I visit in s many stadiums in Europe not to mention the organization , security team, to the cleanness of the building was truly amazing , also I need to mention how the people were friendly , thank you Team Bay Arena

Attending a seminar at the Smidt-Arena may have left some wishing for a basketball game instead. This venue is an excellent spot to witness the Leverkusen Giants, the local team, in thrilling action. The atmosphere is fantastic and full of energy, with fans exclaiming "Arena Alaaf!" The arena also hosts super box events, providing an exceptional experience for attendees. Overall, being present at this venue is enjoyable and offers a great time.

Modern, all-weather aqua park with thrilling water slides, plus spa with herb-infused sauna options.
The CaLevornia has to offer something for everyone in every age group! It has a great outdoor area, where you can relax, play Volleyball or have fun in the swimming pool. Indoors is a great area for children, but you can also swim some lanes or go into the sauna, which is a huge area, with a variety of different saunas. I go there often and enjoy it most of the times. (It is crowded on weekends, so I usually go during the week) 👍🏊♀️

Has the coolest water slide of all the pools in the area! Many different pools; lots of fun for smaller kids. Nice restaurant, too. Quite expensive, but worthwhile for a family excursion.
Very nice and quiet place to have refreshing swimming. Can be little crowded but there are separate lanes for quick swimming.
The Price is very reasonable, it is most of the time very Crowded they also have a Slide and a Lot of Space to Swim
Compared to other places, this swimming pool is fantastic.

The number of pools and their size is more than pleasant. They have pools of all depths and sizes and types as well.
They are fitted with a sauna, a salt bath and a huge curly water slide.
They have an outside pool as well. It is fitted with multiple and various pickets and water faucets of bigger sizes.
I love this place and that is why I came here so often. I recommended this happily.
Nice for smaller kids, but only if grown ups accompany them. Too crowded on weekends, very few opportunities to really swim... It's mostly for fun for kids... But then again there are too many grown ups in the shallow water.
All in all its good for Leverkusen but nothing exceptional.

Amazing pool complex next to football stadium with various pools of different sizes & temperatures (I chose the warmest ones).
Reasonable price. Very clean showers & changing rooms. Open till 10pm every night.

Well worth the ahort trip from Dusseldorff with three children (6, 9, 12). Loads of variety between four indoor pools and two outdoor pools. Large slide that youngest was able toanage solo Basic food available onsite. Clean dressing room area. Went twice in three days.

It’s well organised. I don’t know much about it, but I think they make some graduation ceremonies there.
Attended the Ü30 party there. Awesome party venue! I had a blast and would definitely go back to party again soon.
well i think the area has a great potential but unfortunately the serving throughout the event was not really good. dirty glasses, food was not really on quality and the garage way too small for todays cars. all in all: the LevPänz did an amazing event but the location somehow did not really helped to make it an exhausting event. sorry for the folks there as it is an unused opportunity area.
I know this place already as a surveyor in 1967. I have seen it constructed and finally opened. It was and it is still a fine building and it's worth to see the one or other events.

Visited last year without a problem. We were slow reaching McDonalds this morning at 10:29 AM. She flipped the signs to burgers and said no frühstück. So off we went to Cafe Extrablatt with a breakfast buffet. Half the price of the Best Western Leoso.

We both went for the lunchtime steak menu which comprised a 220g filet steak, chips or baked potato and a side salad. The steak was perfect. I forget what we had to drink.
Service was done professionally with a smattering of English once the waiter/owner? realized that we were conversing to each other in our English mother tongue.

Nice, cozy atmosphere with friendly staff and good service. We only order steaks whenever here and it has never failed us. It is always done how we wanted it.
Freshly prepared food made out of good quality ingredients. You really can taste the food quality, my sister and I were very impressed. I love this place. You can find anything there: a supermarket "Rewe", various cafes to have a bite, nice coffee to drink and lots of Boutiques to do shopping: Rituals, Pandora, Douglas, Intimissimi, H and M, and boutiques to buy stuff for your house, Like kitchen utensils. Lots of parking places and places to spend your money, just be careful:)

I find this city boring even the city center, it’s not fantastic or unique, just a normal place for gathering some teenagers.

A perfect place just to idle around or to go shopping in this wonderful ambiance Gallery. Everything you are looking for you can find in here from all kinds of hobbies to gourmet restaurants. Its a very busy and modern City. You can come here by car, by taxi, Train and they are just right in front of the Center. There are lots of possibilities to park underground and over the Gallery. The Gallery is also surrounded by many other shopping malls, bistros restaurants, and exclusive shops. If you come to visit you will never regret!
You can reach it by bus easily. It was a bit crowded on the weekends. There are a lot of restaurants and cafes. There is a cinema there.
If you’re in the Leverkusen or Rheindorf area and need to do some shopping then I highly suggest the Rathaus Galerie. The galleria is always clean, neat and well kept. You’ll find many people riding their bikes, walking or just enjoying their lunch break outside.
Most anything you’re looking for, you’ll find at Rathaus Galerie. You’ll find clothing, housewares, electronics, game stores, restaurants and much more. The Galerie is setup as an indoor mall that also allows you to go outside to to other part of the mall.
Over the last two weeks, I’ve been here several times and I have had no problem with parking, navigating the mall. The people here are very warm and welcoming and I enjoy the shopping or just people watching.

It was really nice experience but not a suitable place for children even though a big room is decorated for them. There was a big table decorated with paper trees and since it was in the kids room, we thought it is allowed for the kids to touch them but we learned that it was not allowed. We had a warning and afterwards when we are taking the museum tour a museum guard followed us really closely and it was quite uncomfortable. But overall it was a really nice place and the exibition was very impressive.

Wonderful modern art exhibition. Unusual and inspiring art on the theme of the things that dominate our lives, including entire sets of rooms as walk-in works of art. An atmosphere ranging from Steven King's Shining to Kubrik's 200. All presented in a beautiful, perfectly restored old palace.
Went for an European Culture Festival, so I didn't visit the museum.
The main building is very interesting, but the gardens were a bit disappointing. I guess I was expecting more from a small palace like building.
Phenomenal art exhibition of local and international artists alike, on multiple levels, inside a nice building, surrounded by a small park.

I am here for a Tollywood movie. It is small theatre with two screens. The screen and sound are perfect and with good quality. The seats are comfortable but they are bit close to the screen. There is no leg space between the two parallel lines of seats. Food and drinks are available. Cards and Cash are accepted.
It's a nice small place with limited selection of movies, but fine. Great options also for kids birthdays, we were able to book the whole movies for 12 kids at 1pm just before the usual program starts. Very friendly personnel and owner in the phone and on site.

Usually ok, today was bad. I asked for grilled durum and the durum I got had chicken which wasnt grilled. Just big pieces pre-cooked. I raised it to the server and he said no its grilled. Located almost a bit hidden at the country side is an exceptional Italian restaurant. The dishes are really authentic and of very good quality. We got lots of little extras like bread or olives. The place has got its own nice interior style, it is not very spacy though. There is a big parking lot next to the house. It is recommended to make a reservation prior to visiting the place.
My friend and I met up here for an excellent light lunch recently. The place is a little bit out in the sticks and we both drove here separately and parked in the free car park next to the restaurant.
We sat at at table outside on the terrace and were quickly served by a jovial character who helped create a friendly and informal atmosphere. We stuck to fizzy San Pelligrino mineral water and chose from the special items on the blackboard. I went for the delicious baby calamaris. As we waited for our food to arrive we had fresh bread with olives and alioli and a small portion of exquisite, ultra thinly sliced Parmalat ham.
We didn't have a great deal of time for this lunchtime session. But we both agreed that we should bring our respective families back one of these days soon.

Neuland Park is a very historical place for me because i live in this place Wiesdorf Leverkusen since 1982 until 2013. This place became my hometown. This is where i work and 2 minutes walk is the Neuland Park being built up. I know the history of this place but i will not say any disadvantages about how it came to be a fruitful, beautiful, natural, national Park. I became to love this place as time went by because nature started to developed, trees and wild birds came to enjoy the green trees. Now it became a PARADISE FOR CHILDREN. There are lots of playgrounds and beautiful architectural designs integrated inside the Park. You really can spend all of your day just to stay calm and meditate here. In summer, the park is filled flowers and in autumn the playful colorful leaves like Indian Summer and the colorful flowers are the Jewels! You can witness many enjoyable events going on and during some other seasons you can do walking going through the beautiful riverside where you can sit down in one Snack Bar and Restaurant while enjoying the Sunset view at the horizon. It is a wonderful Park!

Me and my family enjoyed the time spent here. Ideal for a toddler! It has shadows to hide from the sun, it is not too big for any of us to be too tired to finish, but big enough to have something to see and to spend 2 hours in the open, but away from the heat. It is a nice place for holiday visit. It is having lot of rides and activities for children along with lot of creatures and birds. So it can be also considered as a small zoo with a huge number of trees that gives it a wild life feeling. It is not easily reachable via public transport but a small walk can take you to the more accessible route. Over all a good visit for 5-6 hours for full family

Food is okay for its price. The atmosphere is energetic and so are most of the staff. They pay attention when the dishes in the buffet are almost empty and replaces them asap.
It's been a while since I've been here for their lunchtime buffet, but I did recently try out their end of buffet takeaway offer that we ordered via the "Too Good To Go" platform. For 10€ I collected two large food containers packed full of hot Chinese food. It was already waiting for me a 15:20 one day, midweek. One container was based on rice and the other on Chinese noodles. When I got home the food was still reasonably warm and very tasty. Actually there was too much to eat in one sitting. Certainly a bargain and we'll definitely try this again soon.

Auch die Vorspeisenplatte ist einfach zu teuer für das Gebotene. Panna Cotta für 13€ ist schon eine Hausnummer. Nichtsdestotrotz ein toller Abend , deswegen 5 Sterne. The experience here is enhanced by their signature Schreckenskammer Kölsch, served in delightful 0.2l glasses that make for easy sipping.
I invited an Aussie friend to join me here for lunch recently. We hadn't booked a table in advance and even though the place was quite full the busy waiter indicated a table for us.
Here, you really must stick to ordering the excellent Schreckenskammer Kölsch. Ordered in the typical 0,2l glasses this lovely beer is so easy to drink. I had the steamed mussels with white wine and cream. They serve this here with a small piece of black bread and butter. I think that I would have preferred a couple of bread rolls to soak up all the juice/sauce. My friend had a huge omelette with bacon pieces and substantial salad. It was so big that he couldn't finish it.
Our waiter had a lot to do on that day. He seemed to be rushed off his feet. Nevertheless he kept his cool and remained friendly and tried to serve us as quickly as possible. All good!

If you are looking for a real German experience, this is the place to be! The food there is great, people are nice and the atmosphere of a cozy, very nice pub. I recommend reserving a table here for dinner even on a weekday because it gets full (the best time to come for the experience). Lunch time is more quiet and relaxed.
NEVER AGAIN - STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!
Went there one early evening around 6.00pm...
Ordered a simple dish (Nürnberger Sausages) and waited and waited.
They were clearly understaffed and I observed several other guests complaining about the long waiting times for their food orders to arrive. The "excuse" was that the kitchen was busy...amazingly, at some point one of the female staff members (daughter of the owner/chef?) shouted loudly and for all guests to hear: "die Küche ist ein Schlachtfeld" ('the kitchen is a battlefield')!
At that point - had waited for over an hour for my order to arrive - I lost my appetite completely.
I cancelled my order, but they insisted that I had to pay for the food I had ordered but that never arrived....UNBELIEVABLE!
There are plenty of better restaurant choices around - this Brauhaus is ridiculous: unprofessional, incompetent and outright rude!

Really like this place, not too expensive. Lovely spot to go for supper, would undoubtedly recommend. We came here for our anniversary and simply cherished the ambiance and great food, can't suggest it enough.
