The bad is moderately large in area with a dedicated swimming pool along with puddle pools for children and toddlers. Two slides are there to add to the fun plus an outdoor bathing area. The major downside is in terms of time-keeping; they charge you an additional full amount even if you are 5-10 mins above the booked time. In many other swimming pools, the additional time is charged in terms of small intervals, which makes more sense.

Great pool, all year round, hot or cold. Lots of activités for everyone, of all ages, fun slides, interesting pools with waves 🌊 every now and then. Hope you enjoy 😉!

Good it is mostly open all days. Public holidays and weekends. Though timing differs. It is very clean and well maintained all throughout year. It has food, spa and sauna options too. In the big pool you can dive from 3 different heights. One pool has occasionally waves. 2 jacuzzi options also. More like a water park but still can be used daily for your swimming practice. It is located close to tram stop.

Fun! Fun! Fun! Anyday. It can be crowded in the after work hours though..I'd recommend a morning or early afternoon visit.

The artistic environment is very nice in the day. Unfortunately the day I went clubbing really sucked because the dj wasn’t playing anything nice and the floor was so empty they stopped and said it’s over at 2:20 am. Also the way to the entrance is a bit complicated and this isn’t specified on the flyers! If you follow google maps, you won’t be allowed in using that way as you have to take another long way up to get to the entrance.

Probably the best party location of Jena. The only one which you might even know outside of the region. It's an old industrial building and an alternative club. The door team is fair, I never had troubles to enter. Reasonable prices for the drinks, music various depending on the occasion. Often sold out, so come sooner than later.

I attended a concert. I liked the atmosphere, and the dance floor. The drinks are not too expensive. The club was kind of hidden but if you literally walk through Jena west Gleis 1 you would reach it. Only the fence would separate you.

Very nice and large grassy area with swimming pond (with fine water), playgrounds for kids (including small pools), showers. Great option for outside activities very close to the city center. The entry fee is very low and for that you can enjoy all day long. Even though the area is usually not overcrowded, so even games like frisbee can be played easily.

A nice place for a day long gateaway. Has place to sit and eat as well. But the water can be cleaner.

Go there just for the sun. Water is so dirty in that wee little pond, that you might catch a skin cancel just by looking at it. But with a book and a sunny day, you might enjoy your time there.

We went here yesterday. The food is okay. I don't want to say bad, it's just okay! Not something unique. Had Greek noodles, not so interesting. There are many different ways to make it agree, but it should have some good taste right.!? I could only feel salt and cheese, I felt the side dish salad is better than the food.

A great place to take a look at Jena from above. Take the elevator to the 26the floor and change there for another one taking you to the 29th floor where you will find the observation platform and a very good restaurant.

We had a spectacular dinner in the JenTower. An elevator takes you to floor 27 and from there another elevator takes you to floor 29. The view is very nice. The food is modern and visually appealing. The quality can be described as good. The design inside is very modern, but unfortunately a little dark. A good place for a relaxing evening with friends.

Jena Tower costs €6 and is a must for anyone visiting Jena. Elevators take you up to the 27th floor in a matter of seconds and then the observation deck is on the 28th floor (another lift). The views from the top of the tower are simply spectacular with observation points around the whole tower. Remember a coat and hat! It is quite windy up there. Would be useful to have metal plaques at the top to point out landmarks, as the paper version just flew around all over the place!

Tallest skyscraper in Eastern Germany (I assume outside of Berlin). Went to the viewing platform on the 28th floor which gives views of the entire city and valley. Great to have it, especially in summer with everything so green. 6 eur to visit. No dogs. No wait.

The view is amazing, seeing all sides of the city. Additionally, you have chance to have a breakfast or meal there at the Tower. Personally, prices are moderate.

Room is quite modern with all the latest gadgets and electrical control of ambience light and blinds. Staff was friendly at reception and at the terrace bar. This is probably the Best hotel in Jena.

One of the nicest old structures of Jena. The Johannistor (city gate) was a part of the old city wall and is the last part of it with the wall area to the Pulverturm (gun powder tower). Myth state that you shouldn't walk through the gate because you won't pass your examen if you do so. Therefore, most students of the city walk around it. There are days where you can go on the roof top of the Johannistor.

Good place to watch the world cup

The food is amazing! The fish tastes really fresh and yummy! The taste is altered to the German tounge, but there's still hint of Japanese taste into it. For a restaurant it's not that expensive but also not that cheap, typical restaurant price. The atmosphere is good to chat with friends and or lovers but it's missing the Japanese vibe. Overall very good!

I ordered from this place for lunch, but was very disappointed. Every sushi piece is too big and seems designed to be eaten in two bites. The tuna cut on the nagiri was square shaped and slightly chewy. The inside-out roll was filled with cream cheese which completely overwhelmed the entire taste! And they put chocolate cream on the green tea mochi which again completely overwhelmed the actual dish. I'll give a star for the packaging though, it was presented very well in a neat sealed box. Delivery time was 75 minutes to the city center.

A small warm sushiplace.The customer sevice was ok. But we ordered a mix choice menu and they brought us all those that have meat in only 2 out of many rolls ...secondly the meal was not tasty. It was too plain and felt not so fresh.

Good place for a relaxing moment in the heart of the city.

Nice botanical garden with a big green house section with lots of exotic plants, little frogs, a butterfly section (not so many when we visited) and quite a large outdoor area. It makes for a nice walk.

Very easily accessible from the city center. Very soothing and peaceful to spend an hour or two, or longer with a book or company. 2.50€ with a student discount. There’s a free audio guide, only a 10€ deposit is needed. Quite interesting. There’s a few halls (different climates, one tropical, one desert) and a pleasant outside areas. Highlight were the couple tomato plants that could be picked. Watch out for poisonous plants, especially with kids.

A wonderful collection and very carefully maintained conditions. Historical settings of the place also adds a lot to the atmosphere.

Not expensive for a great park. One area was closed which was quite disappointing but also understandable. The rest of the park was quite impressive and well maintained. Would definitely recommend to visit!

One of the oldest church in Jena, the construction started around 1381. This is also known as one of the seven wonders of Jena. In 1945 it was damaged badly.

Excellent, well served, unbelievably tasty food. Waiters speak English, very friendly and ready to help you any minute. Clean, pleasant atmosphere. A little bit pricely, but, it is steak, so how can it be? For me, it was one of the best restaurant, that I have visited in the last few years, and I am not giving it full 5 just because it was too loudly there sometimes. 4,8!

I dont like red meat and mostly I dont eat it. But there with that great quality and greatttþ bread and sauces it is mot possible to say no to steak. Visited friend here and decide to have a steak! The restaurant is located in an old tower building which is kind unique. Walking in, the place is spacious and crowded. Steak salad/ ribs/steak with cream potatoes are what we order. The ribs is not typical US style, but with giant bones. However, the meat is so tender and easy to rip off. The wine selection can be improved. Overall, it is a good dining experience and love the quality of the meals.

Food servings are large. Good for two people. Flavors are good enough. The Pad Thai is tasty. Seating inside and outside.

Really long waiting time, and we have been here a few times, every time we wait for 45-60 mins or even more. What doesn't make sense is, like today we make our reservation at the time of this restaurant opens, and after all the other customers who came later than us got their dishes and ate for a while, we still don't get ours. The waiter and waitress were nice and the food was fine, but due to the unreasonable waiting time especially for us, we will not go there anymore

It was a day trip to Jena to visit a friend. The first thing we did after my arrival was lunch. I ordered a Red Roasted Duck Curry. It was not that red at the end but was spicy enough. I took the special lunch deal which is cheaper than their normal menu and also got an ice tea for free. The food was tasty for me atleast. Num num! The service was friendly and the atmosphere was enjoyable.

I am Japanese who living in Germany. Most of Ramen Restaurants in Germany are serving not qualified Ramen and food to customers by using “Japanese brand” But this Restaurant is different. Tasty food, nice atmosphere, appropriate price setting(Most of Japanese restaurant for example in Düsseldorf are quite pricy) and friendly service. Interesting location. Really good food with great prices. Concentrated on ramen. The place is very small but cozy. Unfortunately there is no real waitress service, you need to go and order by yourself then find a free place, they bring your food and then you have to go by your own to pay. But it’s nice. Not for hanging out, just to eat and go. The food is really good.

Exactly the same taste as the one I had in Japan some years ago. The soup is very rich and tasty. Noodle can be cooked slightly longer ( I like the noodle to be softer.) I will conclude that the taste and the portion are better than the branch in Erfurt. Will definitely come back again.

The only thing I crave on a daily basis. Every time I visit Jena, I make sure to eat here. The soup is rich in taste, and the noodles really soft and chewy. The vegetables are very fresh and the best part is probably the crunchy broccoli. They also have enough vegan and kid-friendly options! 🌱

Great customer service. They were able to make exception for a reservation for us as we came all the way from Hamburg and a lovely rose that greeted us. Very friendly staff. The Spicy miso ramen was superb and delicious. In addition, the karaage was tasty and well marinated. Will come back again when we drop/pass by Thüringen. One recommendation though, they could already place the usual condiments for each table like the usual ramen bars, so we dont have to request them all the time and less work for them. Thumbs up for having Kirin beer.
